The museum was great as expected but what actually suprised me was the quality of food in the bistro. I expected it to be just a regular bistro not very good food and really expensive, the expensive part was true but I was really suprised that the food was actually good i reccomend almost everything on the menu exept for the sandwitches whitch are as expected bland but other than that its really tasty. If you are hungry after going through the museum dont waste your time trying to find a restaurant just eat there trust me you wont regret it.

Pretty pricy for a family of four, especially since there is very little for kids to do. There is mostly a lot of tales and films, less historical things to actually see and experience. I would have suggested kids under 12 yrs could enter for free. The additional parking fee is just over the top.

One of the best history museums I've ever experienced. Especially rooms with 10-15 minute sessions are amazing and getting better at every step. If you have time do not skip these rooms. With the same ticket you can also enter Bois Jacques, the woods and fox holes where an amazing episode of Band of Brothers covers.

The memorial is free entry but the museum that occupies the same site is 22€ per person that added to the 5€ parking charge it does start to become expensive. The memorial and grounds are well worth a visit if you want to pay your respects for free and the first 20 mins parking is free.

The movies (3) was very good, but they tell the story in a too complicated way. Hard to follow as an adult and the children barely keep up, even though they know history and have seen some of the related films and series.

When my husband brought it up to the owner (as it was a big difference) he said they recently updated their prices but not the menu. If this is the case I'd suggest letting the customer know upon ordering as this is a cash only establishment and when you're pricing what you're ordering and then have to run to the atm because there is a 30€ difference its not ok.

It isn't very big overall, and you could easily see everything in an hour if you wanted to, but I took a little longer as I like to take my time and read about stuff. The sliding doors of hal 1 open and you are greeted by the smell of engine oil and grease, AND a 152mm pointing right at you :) It's really worth every euro of the entrance fee, MUCH visit when in Belgium (or central Europe for that matter ;) )

Neither the men's nor women's had any toilet paper in any of the stalls, nor any paper towels. I let a lady behind the counter know and her response was a bit rude, saying they already knew. I went back about 30 mins later to wash my hands and still it had not been restocked. That's completely unsanitary and a complete fail on their part. The fact that one of our orders was never put in was the nail in the coffin for this place and we will not be returning.

I like how the seats are decorated with military coats, it was cute!

Unbelievable...if ya eat the burger inside it´s 3,50 Euro more than takeaway. I got the baconburger for almost 10 Euro. The waitress forgot to put salad, tomatoe & Chorizo on it as was said in the menue. She had to ask her collegue if I was right, haha. And then the burger was the worst in my life. The french fries were soggy. Jesus...I thought belgian fries are the best in the world? No taste, way to expensive & bad service. Threw away half the food. My friend was disgusted as well. He had a bad cheeseburger. At least the washroom was clean. Today is the 04.01.2023!

I don’t understand how this place has a four star rating. I’ve had a lot of vegetarian burgers in my life, but never one as dry as this one. My partner’s burger was very low quality meat. Fries were old. We were charged for fries and cheese sauce we didn’t order. Honestly probably one of the worst meals I’ve ever paid for.

A below average snack bar disguised as a restaurant. Horrendous food, bad service, outrageous prices. Fries looked ok and tasted worse. Burgers looked bad and tasted worse.

Really bad service, overpriced and bad tasting fries (oil tasted old and disgusting). Hamburger and fish Burger tasted not good. We couldnt even finish te meal it was that BAD!! Font waste your money here :( big disapointment
