Wang Church is a 12th-century wooden church that was originally located in Norway and later transported to Karpacz, Poland in the 19th century. The church's architecture resembles Viking longships, adding to its historical and cultural significance. Visitors can also explore the picturesque Karkonosze National Park nearby, known for its rare plant and animal species as well as breathtaking landscapes.
this beautiful charming wooden church offers a glimpse into the past with its unique design and craftsmanship. Tour is available with a small fee. Don’t miss the stunning views of the valley from the small cemetery. Parking fee: 5€ per hour.

It's a very historically important church. It's a wooden church with beautiful exterior architecture. There's a small cemetery surrounding the church. While many churches in Poland are free to enter, this one costs 14 zł, with an additional 5 zł if you have a camera. I didn't go in because there were large groups of people inside.
Ruslan M — Google review
Worth to see, very nice little wooden church with beautiful well maintained grounds. Ticket is cheap and you can spend there as much time as you want. To there there you can leave your car on paid parking and take a walk. Some little shops and coffee places around. View is spectacular
Lena — Google review
A small wooden Viking-style church surrounded by a small old cemetery. The steep trip up will reward you with breathtaking views. What I don’t accept personally is paying an entrance fee to a church!

Karpacz and Wang Church are kinda places you should visit before die! I had visit there by my bike 🚲, saw amazing nature and had an amazing experience.

If you want to see an original Norwegian Stave Church without travelling North, that is the solution. The history behind is even more interesting. Definitely worth visiting.

The Wild Waterfall, located in Karpacz, is a picturesque and easily accessible spot that offers enchanting views throughout the year. It is not just an ordinary mountain stream but an unpredictable river originating from a high altitude and flowing through lush green slopes. Visitors can explore the surrounding area to discover more beautiful waterfalls and scenic spots. The waterfall provides a magical experience with its refreshing waters and serene ambiance, making it an ideal stop during a summer hike.
I loved this place so much. It’s such a calming atmosphere and you can do great pictures. It’s also refreshing to go inside the water after an exhausting hike.
Oliver L — Google review
A breathtaking spot deep in nature! The waterfall is wild, powerful, and mesmerizing. Perfect for a short hike, photos, and a peaceful reset. Easy to reach, surrounded by lush greenery and crisp, fresh air. If you want to feel truly connected to nature — this is the place. Highly recommended!
Andriy V — Google review
The place is quite nice, but when we were there, the water wasn't flowing at all, so it didn't look much like a waterfall. It probably depends on the weather and the season. On the bright side, because there was less water, our kids really enjoyed climbing on the rocks. Overall, it's a great short stop on your trip.
TheJirator — Google review
Nice place to visit. Either a gentle hike from Karpacz, or you can get the 'bus train' from the centre. It's not a whole day affair, but a good place for a scenic detour on the way to the gondolas.
Gavin H — Google review
Visited Wild Waterfall at the end of September and absolutely loved it! The place wasn’t crowded at all, which made the experience even better. It was calm, peaceful, and beautifully clean – perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. Highly recommended if you're looking for a quiet escape with stunning views!

Nestled within the charming Lesny Dwor complex in Karpacz, Mamma Mia is a delightful restaurant that offers a cozy atmosphere and a menu brimming with homestyle Italian dishes. Guests can indulge in an array of options, from mouthwatering burgers and pizzas to delectable pasta plates. The culinary journey begins with enticing antipasti like shrimp, marinated tartare, and homemade focaccia bruschetta.
My friends and I had a wonderful dinner at Mamma Mia. Our waitress, Maja, made our visit extra special—she was incredibly lovely, friendly, and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and since it wasn’t too busy, we could fully enjoy our meal and conversation. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions and reasonable prices, making it excellent value for money. Whether you're looking for a cosy dinner with friends, a family meal, or a special occasion, Mamma Mia is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

I ordered a Divina vegetarian pizza, which tastes amazing with caramelized onion on top. Reduced two stars for tiramisu which was loaded with chocolate powder and sugar. Tried tiramisu at many places but definitely this tastes bad. Not sure why the hype on reviews
B K — Google review
I appreciate the interior and the idea with Leonardo da Vinci quotes and drawings for kids as a table setting, also the non-alcoholic Hugo was tasty. The “burger wolowy” was very dry/well done, fries were OK. Nobody paid attention to me for extremely long while despite empty plate and glass. Also, the waitress didn’t speak English or German, so it is handy to have some basic knowledge of Polish (actually, even the menu is in PL only)
Frantisek T — Google review
Nice place with extremely polite young people waiting tables. Well organized staff had no trouble to serve drinks and food for a large group of guests same time so we could eat our food together. Inside greets you with modern style and loft type ceiling lamps. Wide range food selection from sea food through pizza, pasta and beef. We enjoyed our meal and had a good time. Food was tasty and I can recommend this place. One star deducted because of the spider web hanging inside the lamp so there is a place for improvement. However over all well done!!!
Paul J — Google review
We went here in search of vegetarian food and walked it happily with a tummy fool of yummy food. We ordered Pizzas and Gnocchi, all the three dishes tasted delicious and the presentation blew our mind. The only disappointment is the chocolate powder on top of the Tiramisu which was a bit too much. The staff was super friendly and helped us in English!
S B — Google review
Lovely restaurant and great food. They have their own bakery, bread was fantastic. We had pizzas, salads and don't forget to order soup. Yummy.
Zuzana M — Google review
Horrible staff, they don't communicate, you try to reserve a table, they don't tell you anything at all. The food looked good on pictures I'll give them that. When I finally managed to get a table for my partner and our baby some bloke just sat there since he waited at the door like a good dog. AVOID AT ALL COST. Since it's a touristy place they don't give a damn about you...
Patrik J — Google review
I actually don't understand such high reviews. We stopped for some lunch & ordered pasta Bolognese and limon risotto. Pasta Bolognese was ok but risotto... I mean, it was a rice porridge with parmesan. The asparagus was overdone like 5 times (turned brown). The service... I cannot say the waiter was welcoming or friendly. Was super usual. And we needed to wait to get her attention for a bill. Ended up coming and paying by the bar when she was chatting with another waitress. The atmosphere... The oven is big and beautiful, the music was great but there are so much of plastic decor. In dust. Idk but IMHO it's not very "restaurant'ish". Definitely not a place to come back.

Western City is a Wild West-themed amusement park located in the picturesque countryside of Karpacz, Poland. Spanning across 65 hectares, this attraction features various western-style buildings such as saloons and sheriff's offices, along with entertaining activities like archery competitions and staged bank robberies. Visitors can also interact with animals including horses, goats, cows, and donkeys. The park offers a nostalgic experience of Poland before the end of communism.
A place worth to visit, unique and nice vibes, kind staff specially the man who rides you the horse. It would be great to have more animals like cows and activities of interaction with animals like milking, washing, etc. We paid: 46 PLN/Adult + 15 PLN for parking.
Fahed B — Google review
Went on a Sunday at 2 PM. Huuuge prices. The entrance fee of 50 Zl per person (only cash) was outrageously high given the fact that almost all attractions were closed. The show was barely a few minutes long (bank robbery). The actors were less then enthusiastic to play the roles. Very few anymals and mostly hidden away. Only the small train was open. Food and drinks were ok. Would not have gone If I had known that everything is closed.
Robert F — Google review
This a wonderful kids tourist spot. It really is mainly for kids. Came during the summer and weather was perfect. Kids horse rides, bouncy house, and a bull ride for all ages. I had fun as a an adult. Can spend a couple of hours here.
Oz D — Google review
If you want to experience how Poland was before it abandoned communism, you need to visit this place. No pictures or words can do this place justice. It’s definitely worth the entrance fee just for the comedic value alone. Alarms bells should have sounded when we pulled into the “car park “ and got charged 15 złotys for the privilege to park. We came here on a grey Sunday morning and thought we would struggle to get half an hour’s entertainment…..two hours later we were still rolling around the floor laughing! Ignore the review below about one of the attractions “just being a pole in the ground “, we were particularly impressed by this pole, it was shiny and at least 2.5 metres tall, definitely not worthy of being called “just a pole”! When you think the place has hit a low point you find they’ve conjured up another cultural misappropriation.

Really beautiful place. We didn't have much time here as it was an impromptu trip, but we got to take the gondola up to the top and walk for a while. The gondola is approximately £20 per person for a ride up and down and lasts about 15 minutes to the top. Not many people speak English here so be prepared for that! Its colder at the top than you expect!

Well kept hiking trail considering the fact that it cost 8 Polish zloty per adult. Very nice breath taking view. The last stretch to the shelter was the most difficult but it was worth every step

Very picturesque park where you can escape to have fresh air and a touch of nature. The only thing wad that it was very difficult to find hot tea or coffee served on the premises. During cold weather that would have been great. Apart from that hiking was very well done with railing.

Great place and it is not too hard to get to. The way to the waterfall is along a mountain river. Very pleasant walk. As soon as you enter the forest you call feel and smell the air is different - good place to go to in the summer to rest when it's hot. Please do remember to take good strong shoes with you and some cash / debit card to pay for the entrance to the National Park (9zl per person as of 2023). We were surprised that in the middle of the forest there is even a "hidden" small shop/restaurant close to the waterfall so if you want to have something to drink or eat - it is there for you.

Chojnik Castle, situated in Jelenia Gora, Poland, is a restored medieval fortress perched on Chojnik Mountain at an altitude of 627 meters. The castle offers sweeping views of the surrounding valley and forests. Accessible via hiking trails, the journey to the castle can be challenging but rewarding. Visitors can explore the historic ruins and enjoy panoramic vistas of the Karkonosze Mountains.
This castle and the path leading to it have everything you need. You can choose between easy walk or interesting rocky-hike to reach the castle. The castle ruins are well maintained so you can feel how the living there could look like in the past. Nice view from the top of the tower. The place is totally worth recommending to visit when you are nearby.

A great walk through the woodland to an interesting ruined castle at the top of the hill with panoramic views over the valley. Not a walk for the unfit but not to be missed if in the area. The only negative was the restaurant at the top. The staff were miserable and it wasn't cheap even though it was literally self service and you had to pay to use the toilet despite being paying customers. They could do better! Otherwise a brilliant place to visit.
Jo G — Google review
Lovely well preserved Castle, great view of the surrounding mountains. Nice hiking path to get there (bring good shoes and weather appropriated clothing)
Ronaldo P — Google review
It’s a beautiful castle on the top of the hill with a small cute cafe. But to be honest paying for three different tickets is kinda scam. Because first they charge you for parking and then for the national park which includes the castle btw and then lastly for the castle.
E. B — Google review
Impressive catsle ruins. We visited on a clear sunny day, and the views from the tower were outstanding. The whole path to the castle is stunning. It is quite a steep hike up and a few paths to choose from. There is a caffe on the side of the castle, the food was very nice. It wasn't busy when we visited, so it felt like we had the whole castle for ourselves. I recommend taking a stroll around the castle walls. There is a viewing point with an amazing view of the castle 🙂
Briga H — Google review
Qe parked in a store close by in a store called Skelep, it cost 15 slot for the day. There is a fee to get in the National Park where the castle is located so don’t forget to pay. There are two well signalized ways up to the castle, we got the red one to go up and the black one to go down, even though the black one was a bit hard in a snowy day. The castle has a fee to get in but worth the views. There is also a restaurant where we only got a regular hot chocolate to help in the cold. The place is family friend.

PREPARATION: Bring hiking shoes/clothes and walking poles because it is a 45 minute hike up to the castle, and another 45 minutes back down, on a VERY STEEP and uneven rocky path. Avoid on rainy days because the path is very slippery and dangerous. Take the RED path because BLACK path is very dangerous. PRICE: it costs 20pln for parking at the nearby store, 11pln/person to enter the national park, and then 15pln/person to enter the castle itself.

Siruwia Japanese Garden, located in Przesieka, is the highest situated Japanese garden in Poland at 600 meters above sea level. This small gem nestled in the Karkonosze Mountains offers a miniature version of authentic Japanese gardens, complete with various plants, small bridges, charming ponds, and waterfalls. Visitors can also explore a museum showcasing original swords and armor from Japanese dynasties. Guided tours are available to walk around the garden and visit the samurai museum.
Here are some beautiful views of Siruwia Japanese Garden, also known as "Little Japan"—a stunning sanctuary nestled in the Karkonosze Mountains near Karpacz. From the moment I stepped into Siruwia Japanese Garden, I was transported into a serene and enchanting realm where Japanese design meets the wild beauty of Lower Silesia. The garden is masterfully crafted according to Japanese horticultural principles and feng shui, seamlessly blending Oriental elements—streams, stone lanterns, bonsai—with the rugged charm of the Karkonosze landscape . A highlight of the garden is its extraordinary collection of approximately 3,000 rhododendron bushes in over 80 varieties—truly a horticultural gem . The winding paths invite peaceful exploration, while charming bridges, gently flowing ponds, and cascading waterfalls evoke a meditative ambiance . But Siruwia offers so much more than natural beauty. The “Samurai – The Knight of Ancient Japan” Museum showcases authentic armor and interactive activities like postcard stamping—making culture tangible and engaging . For families, the highest playground in Lower Silesia is a delightful surprise—kids can enjoy ten-meter slides while parents savor Japanese green tea in the café . Every detail here whispers of dedication—whether it's the bonsai art, authentic Japanese treats, or the peaceful layout aligning with tradition and tranquility . Verdict: A captivating oasis offering cultural immersion, horticultural splendor, and family-friendly delights. Whether you're seeking peaceful reflection, a dash of Japanese culture, or a fun outing with kids—Siruwia is an absolute must-visit. I hope this review captures the magic of Siruwia Japanese Garden! Let me know if you’d like help planning a visit or discovering nearby treasures

Not sure if caused by the season we visited - mid April - but it was not what we expected, especially for the price of the ticket. Basically nothing was blooming and everything in there was closed. Didn't have the Japanese vibe, was just a normal quite nice park.

Nice place worthy to see 👀 it once. Got lovely charm of Japanese culture along historic respect. Tickets include free tour. Also have kids activities
SebastianG K — Google review
Amazing place for a walk, you can easily spend here 1-2 hours enjoying nature and some exotic plants and trees. The entry price is a bit high for this type of attraction but all in all worth visiting.
Kamil R — Google review
It's a nice garden but overpriced. For families with children there is a big children play area that may make it more worth, but not for me. Will not return for sure
Jose B — Google review

Danka M — Google review
For those who are huge fans of Japanese culture, this place is worth a visit. You'll likely enjoy the thoughtful design, which is clearly a labor of love for the theme. If you're coming for the slides and gardens, you can easily spend three to four hours exploring and having fun. For that audience, I would give this place a 4 out of 5 stars. However, if you're a family with young children, you'll need to be prepared. The lack of food options is a major drawback. My family was explicitly told there was no food available—unless you count ice cream. We found it pretty strange to see so many people having ice cream for lunch. It's hard to believe they haven't set up a simple solution like a fridge with fresh sandwiches, considering how long people tend to stay here. For families, I'd give it a 3 out of 5 stars. When you're on your way, don't be surprised if your navigation seems to have gone haywire. You'll feel like you're going the wrong way, but just keep calm—the path is definitely off-road. You may want to skip the car wash beforehand! Another disappointment was the samurai armor exhibition. We found the building but all the doors were locked. We could only get a peek through the partially open windows. Ultimately, the price is a real question mark. If you're there to use the slides, the cost feels more reasonable. But if you're only visiting for the garden, it's a hard sell unless you're truly captivated by the photos. Otherwise, this is an easy place to skip.
TheJirator — Google review
Beautiful authentic-looking space! Not too big, around 2km of pathways. Has a small samurai museam with swords and armour that you can visit with a guide. Guide services are included in the price and tours start every full hour. The matcha ice cream there is delicious! The price is a bit high, but it's valid for two days, so I guess if you're staying nearby you can visit again and sit and meditate to the sounds of the waterfall ☺️👍

TITO PIZZA is an excellent establishment that offers delicious pizza and top-notch service. They are able to assist customers who may have difficulty communicating as they don't speak the local language, going above and beyond to help with tasks like calling a taxi. The 4 cheese pizza is highly recommended, as it has received great feedback from patrons. It would be even better if there were additional options like salads or side dishes available for order.
Had the 4 cheese pizza which was really good. I wish they had a salad or an extra side dish to order.

Beautiful location, but very untidy and messy. Pizza was not great, especially for the price, the cook looked absolutely exhausted and unfriendly. She must really hate her job. The worst experience we have have in a while. Certainly stay away.

Nestled in the charming village of Jagniatkowo, Restauracja i Willa Agnieszki offers a delightful culinary experience that beautifully blends traditional Polish cuisine with European influences. The menu is thoughtfully updated each season to incorporate fresh vegetables and fruits, ensuring a vibrant dining experience. Guests can enjoy the warm hospitality of the staff while savoring dishes like Hungarian Goulash or succulent pork ribs with mustard sauce. The ambiance is enhanced by stunning stone stairs that add character to this lovely establishment.
Surprisingly empty place next to great mountain trails. Good price to quality ratio - elegantly served standard local dishes with good choice of local craft beer. Could do better on wine, but probably not many connoisseurs around. You could say this place is sort of symbolic for the whole area - that looks slightly post-ago land of old people who do not really feel like they belong there. But worth a visit nevertheless.

Great spot in Jagniątków! Our hiking group often stops at Villa Agnieszka after coming down from Kotły. The food is tasty, the prices are fair, and the owner is welcoming. The dining room is comfortable and much nicer than you’d expect for such a small village. Honestly, it’s the only real sit-down restaurant around unless you drive to Szklarska Poręba—more people should know about it. And convenient on premises parking.
Paul K — Google review
Good evening, we have recently visited this restaurant while on our holidays in Poland. Absolutely amazing place. Restaurant is very clean and spacious, with kids corner. So you can enjoy your delightful meal and let kids play. Food is top notch. Very fresh and rich in flavor. I had a chicken rolade with spinach with some potato dumplings and it was just OMG 😱 you need to try it. For children we ordered pierogi 🥟 na słodko and these were also superb. Place is bit off the main city of Jelenia Góra, but it is worth a drive as even the views from the restaurant are rewarding. Finally, staff working in the restaurant is very friendly and looks well after your needs.

Termy Cieplickie is an indoor/outdoor recreation complex featuring multiple swimming pools, thermal baths, and a fitness center. The staff is described as friendly and helpful. Families can enjoy clean facilities with generous-sized lockers, making it a great break from hiking for both adults and kids.
We visited the aquapark in July 2023. It is a nice place for very reasonable price. Warm water. Many attractions for children. There is a problem to find a place for your car at the parking lot sometimes.

Owercrowded in summer. Better to buy ticket before but still need to wait in the line. Expect waiting. IT is packed inside but you could enjoy water And some slides or oter atraction. Basic selection of Fast food And one soup of the Day.

Water was super nice and my skin felt soft after. Only complaint is parking and ticket situation. We waited in very long line to get in. Online tickets don't have separate entrance. Bit of the hustle to get in but once there it is nice. Also pools are made of stainless steel whatbi never experienced before
Sabina K — Google review
I'm little bit confused, I have read that this is tje best thermal bath in this region. Unfortunatelly it is more or less like an aquapark, not a thermal bath, because there are not specialized pools for relaxing or bubble bath, there are only two small whirpools on the other hand there are two water slides. I was there for the first and also last time. It is not generaly bad, but the expectation of thermal bad was very very different from the real situation there
Jiri J — Google review
We love this place. However, the last visit was different - Monday 27.10.2025 around 15:00 waiting for almost 1 hour just to get in. The place was so full, they would let the new visitors in only when some current visitors left. That unusual crowd was predominantly CZ guests, possibly due to CZ holiday next day, Water felt somehow colder than other times before, but still Ok. Reasonable price, the pools are not overcrowded even when the limits are full.

Great little set of pools with a few slides. It gets pretty busy. Tiles can be really slippery, so be careful when walking. There's also a small cafe upstairs.

1. Bad organisation 2. Bad management 3. Terrible chip-display facility cabinets. 4. Hundreds of client : one pisoar, one toilet :-) 5. Hundreds of peoples came in this complex for whole day, and there is no normal restaurant !!! Some pitty buffet, closed for rest in 14:00-14:45 !?? 6. On the second floor at the Kavarna, there is not enough ventilation. Generaly there is not ventilation at the roof, can't breathe 7. At the "Spa" reception desk, there is no staff whole day, to present you some procedure, massage or towell, if you want to rent. 7. The complex have terrible flloor plan, too many facilities in small area, very noisy....AND ONLY 5 LOUNGES-BED AROUND INSIDE POOLS ?!

The Muzeum Karkonoskie w Jeleniej Górze is a highly regarded regional museum with fascinating exhibitions for anthropologists and anyone interested in the Karkonosze and Sudety regions. It showcases traditional clothing and tools used in the area, as well as multimedia exhibits that unfortunately cannot be accessed currently due to the ongoing epidemic (as of 16 July 2020). However, despite this setback, the museum remains a must-visit destination.
Very cute and authentic museum about history of the city/region + amazing glass exhibition on the second floor. They also sell glass artworks. Entrance fee for adult is 20 zl. You would probably spend less than an hour here but it's still worth it as it welcomes you with history and art
Evgeniia — Google review
Well organized, and very informative if paired with the audio guides. Plenty of historic and interesting exhibits. The glass works section on the first floor is also very artestic.

It's very interesting place. There is no guide, but still worth visiting due to fine exhibitions. I had a chance to see exhibition "Glass. Architecture. Design" where I saw masterpieces made by Borek Sipek. Just amazing things, beautiful and impressive. Stuff is very kind and helpful, there is also parking lot for a few cars nearby. I would recommend this place also for families with young children.
Jacek K — Google review
This regional museum is one of the best I was in, exihibitions are extremly interesting for antropologysts and all people who are curious about Karkonosze and Sudety. You will see typical clothes and tools which were used in region. Multimedial exhibitions are also included buy due to the epidemy are out of order (today is 16 july 2020) but even without part of things museum is 100% worth to see. Style and form of the Museum is very simmilar to the museum which are located in Orgosolo, Sardinia. Car park are nearby but isn't free (about 2.4 zł per hour). The museum is available for invalids, there are elevators inside.

Time Gates - Bramy Czasu in Jelenia Gora offers a fascinating tour through old cellars, WW2 labyrinths, and underground passages. Led by enthusiastic local guides, the dramatized visit provides insights into over 300 years of history with a touch of humor and folklore. The chilly tunnels are adorned with slightly cheesy but enjoyable scenes from the past. So far 5 start experience .... But, the tesla Coil, it is interesting, unfortunately way tooo loud, in my opinion can damage hearing, haven't heard anything that loud in my life , my kids wanted to leave straight away after that experience, they said they really disliked the Tesla Coil , I have seen other kids crying, just terrifying, for Tesla Coil 1 star .

Prices are quite high in times of inflation, comparable to other well-rated pizzerias in Jelenia Góra. The pizza was tasty. The ingredients on the pizza were of very good quality!🧀🫒🧅🧄🍕. However, the biggest disappointment was that the cake was as thin as a sheet of paper. This is where your own preferences for dough come into play. For me, this is a big minus for such a thin cake. Of course, pizza is only for takeaway. (Original) Tutaj jest dość spory dylemat z oceną produktu. Właściciel bardzo uprzejmy oraz grzeczny 👍. Nestled in a charming cottage adorned with green shutters, Restauracja - Kawiarnia Sonata is a delightful gem located at Piastowski Square 13 in Cieplice Śląskie Zdrój, part of Jelenia Góra. This cozy eatery offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. Just steps away from the town's health center and recreation park, it’s an ideal spot for both locals and visitors alike.
The Way to a Man's Heart is Through His Stomach... "Sonata" is a lovely small cafe/restaurant in Cieplice's pedestrian zone, just a few minutes away from the charming town's health center and recreation park. We enjoyed dining there on various occasions - and their home-made meals were always a good choice to us. Ms Monica, a sweet waitress with her reasonably good command of English, always did her best to cater our special needs, e.g. by replacing parts of a specific dish for us or following our request to cook some meat exactly the way we prefer it. At "Sonesta" they arrange dances with a trumpet player's live performance every Thursday night and guests seem to love it! They place is also famous for their home-made cakes and other pastries. In the spring and summer-time they run an inviting beer garden behind the building. We can certainly recommend it

(Translated by Google) We've passed this place many times, and today we went in... We chose the Hungarian pancake and the borscht with croquette. Unfortunately, both were hits. The croquette required searching for the filling, and the small pancake wasn't crispy, drowned in a fatty sauce, and served with weak salads. A further suggestion is to serve the sour cream separately so the customer can decide how much to add. Other dishes may be better, but you can find a much better pancake in Jelenia Góra at a comparable price. Unfortunately, we're not adding this place to our list.

Seems so much cleaner and better than in the uk. Sunday afternoon visit and a great place to be. A big selection of shops and a row of pick and mix I haven't seen on such a scale even in Woolworths days. We had food here and I was more than impressed by the quality and cost.

The biggest in Jelenia Góra. Quite ok if you like medium size malls. Wólczanka and Vistula is there and some shoe brands stores as well.

Observation deck
Baszta Zamkowa is a pleasant and easily accessible destination, offering a splendid panoramic perspective from its elevated position. However, caution is advised when ascending the tower's steps after rainfall as they can become dangerously slippery. This particular attraction forms part of the historic fortifications of Jelena Gora and provides an impressive outlook towards the city center. Notably, visitors are able to enjoy this remarkable vista without any admission fees.
The part of the historical defending walls of the Jelena Góra. Nice view to the city center.
Rykunov A — Google review
Nice free-to-go place. Very nice view from the top of the tower. Steps after rain are quiet sleepery so pay attention during going up the tower.

Great view, for free. Nothing to add except 5 stars.

Beautiful view of the city, if you visit the city of Jelenia góra I recomend visit this place. For 30 minutes aleast.

It’s restoration, was funded by EU , but someone so arrogant , that English , Spanish ,French and German text was missing . A bloody bureaucrat’s way of expressing gratitude for EU donations , by writing it all in Polish . Shame on him , send him to a English lesson 10 weeks in tourist information .
Heinz T — Google review
Cute little medieval tower from original town walls giving panoramic views over Jelenia Gora old town centre and surrounding countryside. Quite a few stairs but not climbing a mountain so well worth it. Also information boards inside and panels detailing surrounding area.

Vista point
The Lookout Tower on Krywousty's Hill, once known as knightly and now referred to as princely, boasts a rich history dating back to the 14th century. Founded by Prince Henry Jaworski, it stands as the largest and best-preserved medieval residential tower in Poland and ranks among the most significant towers of its kind in Europe.
The view is amazing! And it's well kept and for free. Recommended! Not too far from the city center, you can easily walk there.

Nestled in the charming locale of Leśna Huta, this destination is a treasure trove for lovers of handcrafted glass art. Visitors are welcomed into an enchanting world where traditional glassblowing techniques come to life. The workshop showcases skilled artisans creating stunning glass decorations and figurines right before your eyes, offering a glimpse into the age-old craft that has been passed down through generations.
Absolutely incredible place! Not only can you take a class in traditional lampwork, the glass blowers are incredibly talented and willing to answer all of your questions! As a glass lover and collector I bought all the tiny glass animals I could find! Quick tip for anyone who collects UG, bring your flashlight!!! They have old stock glass and the amount of amber coloured UG is INSANE 👀
Lucy F — Google review
A magical place where artisans dwell. It’s a must-see. Stories are told, gifts are made and experiences held.
Łukasz K — Google review
It was incredible to watch masters of making glass sculptures at work and be able to ask questions. This is a tiny workplace where all sorts of glassware are made and can be purchased. The kids were amazed and mesmerized. Only four instead of five stars as the website was not up to date and advertised participation in making the glass wonders which my kids were looking forward to do only to be told on arrival that this is not available.
Joanna — Google review
Small ironworks that allows to see how glass is manufactured. Pleasant craftmans answers all your questions with patience and even do animals from glass when children ask. However, workers didn't prepare any tours or stories - It's rather AMA/Q&A formula. After that you can buy some souvenirs made from glass. Prices are quite affordable.
Jacek K — Google review
We had great fun making glass flowers here! Excellent experience at a good price. The professionals didn't speak English, so my wife had to translate for me. Stunning to watch them at work if you didn't want to try having a go yourself.

The Municipal Museum of Gerhart Hauptmann's House, located in the village of Jagniatkow, is a lavish mansion where the renowned German writer lived from 1901 until his passing in 1946. The Neo-Renaissance house was designed by architect Hans Griesebach and is situated on a granite rock surrounded by a 1.6-hectare nature park.

Ecological park
Hiking area
Rudawski Park Krajobrazowy is a protected area in Poland known for its stunning mountain ridges, cliff formations, and lush forests, making it a haven for hikers and rock climbers. The park offers a fairy-tale atmosphere with interesting rock formations and trails suitable for hiking, biking, and horse riding. Visitors can explore the Bolczow castle nestled in the beautiful forest or take a leisurely stroll to the colorful small ponds.
Fantastic place, recommend to everyone. There is unusual rocks formation and 13 century castle which was built into those rocks. The road towards the castle takes 40 minutes, it is quite challenging but exiting.
Galina W — Google review
Beautiful forest. You can climb uphill to a viewing point , and when the weather is good you can see Snieszka mountain which is also the border to Czech republic.
Bartosz C — Google review

Łukasz S — Google review
An amassing place to be. Walks, rock climbing, mtb and any outdoor activity you want to do is allowed here. No words to describe this place..
Sammy O — Google review
Completely destroyed woods and roads. It does not deserve the name " park" anymore. It's horror all over
Wilma K — Google review
Enjoyed the walks with some wonderful views. Good shade from the trees thus able to walk also during the hotter days. Pack for comfy boots, don't forget food and drinks as options to buy something on the way are limited. Limited parking but free.
Lauma K — Google review
I simply can’t describe with words the beauty of this place. Simply breathtaking! If you visit it, please respect it and do not leave trash behind. We must preserve places like this at all cost! ❤️🌳
Horacio G — Google review
One of the most magical places in Poland and so far my favourite. This small low-mountain area will greet you with a fairy-tale atmosphere. You can find there many interesting rock formations, it is a very good place for climbers. Secondly there are several nice trails for hiking, biking and horse riding. You can visit a Bolczów castle, located in the beautiful forest, have a walk to the coloured small ponds or visit "Szwajcarka" shelter and have a good-quality beer. There is also a piece of history of uranium mining to discover - if you like this part head straight to "Miedzianka" village. And there are plenty amazing places all around, hard to name them all. Definitelly must see.

Fresh Kebab, a renowned kebab establishment, stands out among many others due to its exceptional flavor and quality. Hailing from the southern hemisphere and having explored numerous kebab joints throughout Europe, I can confidently assert that no other place comes close to matching the excellence found here. If you crave an outstanding culinary experience, this gem is conveniently located just a minute away from the bus station. The extensive portions provided and the friendly nature of their staff only enhance the overall dining satisfaction.

If you're on the hunt for a delicious bite in Berlin, look no further than "BERLIN DÖNER KEBAP Sudecka." This spot offers kebabs that are anything but dry, featuring fresh additions like tomatoes and cucumbers wrapped in a soft pancake. These toppings elevate the dish, making it juicy and flavorful. Don't miss out on their cheesy French fries—truly finger-licking good!
Loved it!

(Translated by Google) The food surprised me very positively. The kebab in the rollo was not dry, I love it when I find additions such as tomato or cucumber in the "pancake", they diversify the dish and make the dish juicy. French fries with cheese sauce - finger licking good. Nice service, there was a lot of traffic but as promised - they arrived within 6-7 minutes I recommend it!!!!!!

(Translated by Google) I rarely leave negative reviews but today I have to. I ordered a large rollo as usual with a CLEAR request WITHOUT ONION!!! (Never had this problem before!) Not only did they chop up the onion, but in such quantity and pieces that you 🤮 wanted it. The sauce was also not what it should have been, I got garlic with dill! 😤 And what if I was allergic to these ingredients? Are you serious?! If only there was a big crowd... I think 4-5 people behind the counter were joking around instead of LISTENING to what they were being told. I was always happy, so for a while I think I'll say no. And spare me the standard comment you post under every negative review.

Vietnamese restaurant
Hanoi, a Vietnamese eatery, offers delicious cuisine with exceptional customer service. What sets this place apart is its availability on Sundays, making it the sole option in town for weekend dining. The food is of high quality and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. The emphasis here lies not only on the delectable dishes but also on the impeccable service provided by the attentive employees.
