Castillo de San Miguel, located in the heart of Tenerife, is a beautifully restored 18th-century fortress that offers a captivating living history museum experience. The castle's impressive medieval-style architecture sets the stage for an immersive journey into the island's rich heritage. Visitors can enjoy banquet dinners during Knights' tournaments and explore a souvenir shop on-site. The Medieval dinner show at Castillo San Miguel features jousting, horse and sword feats, creating an action-packed experience suitable for all ages.
It’s sometimes difficult to keep teenagers entertained but this show definitely did. One of the highlights of our holiday. The staff there were all brilliant. The food was good, tasty and lots of it. Also were excellent with my family’s allergies. The real stars for us though were the horses and how well trained they were. Brilliant

One of the most amazing, fun-filled and exciting evenings I've been to in years! Total audience interaction and the actors were fantastic! Great food, great service. I had such a wonderful time! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
JUDI L — Google review
The show was impressive, well rehersed and interactive, two teams cheering for their representing team with champions regularly taking time to hype up their crowd, fistbumping the kids and whatnot. The service was on point with good three course meal and an iron cup for you to bang on the table as you cheer. Great for any family, group of friends or elders that want to enjoy an evening drinking and cheering. Food: vegetable soup, chicken with potatos and a few slices of tomatos and for desert some icecream.

We visited at the end of July 2025 and chose the VIP upgrade – absolutely worth it. The transfer was an easy 45-minute ride on a comfortable, air-conditioned bus, which felt like a bonus in the heat. On arrival, we were greeted with a lovely little surprise (I won’t spoil it), setting a great tone for the evening. VIP gave us reserved front-row seating, ideal for the show. Before the action began, there was a photo opportunity with the King and Queen, followed by time in the main waiting area with toilets, a bar, a gift shop and access to the courtyard. Be prepared for about 45 minutes in the sun – temperatures topped 30 °C during our visit – although there’s a large indoor space if you prefer to stay cool. Bags weren’t checked, and we were glad we’d brought our own drinks as the bar queue was long. Once the games started, cava was offered on arrival at the arena, with juice, water and wine served throughout. The action was completely non-stop, creating a brilliant atmosphere – I even had tears of excitement, and my 11-year-old loved every minute. The meal was fairly average (I’d give it 5/10), though I’m not sure if its simplicity was part of the theme. That said, the overall experience was outstanding value and I’d highly recommend it. We also bought a souvenir photo for just €10, a perfect keepsake from an unforgettable evening.

Fantastic experience at the show and the food and drink were lovely. Very immersive, very fun! The only downside was waiting over an hour in a hot crowded room beforehand with no communication, with an elder and child it wasn't the best.

OK so we booked this on a bit of a not sure what to do on a Saturday night. We booked with transport which arrived promptly. We picked up another two couples on the way. Got to the castle and had a mooch, piccy taken with the Lord of the castle and then we were ushered into the arena. Once we were all sat soup and rolls were passed out and the entertainment began. Well absolutely outstanding evening. We were totally hoarse from shouting, cheering and general merriment. Wonderfull evening.

Went to the medieval show! What a fantastic performance!!! Horses looked very happy and well looked after! Could see the love the performers had for them. Main downfall to the whole experience was the organisation pre show! Nobody knew where to go or what to do. Then when they did open the doors it was just a free for all! They ahould have separated everyone before open the doors! Yellow V.I.P first Followed by all yellow tabards tabards. Then black V.I.P followed by all black tabards. The food was quite nice but salt wasn't offered to season the potatoes.

wow what a fantastic night we had from getting on to the coach by Simon who made us all welcome. we went into the castle and looked around (brilliant) the drinks bar was very reasonable prices expected it to more expensive.. the show was well presented and food was fetched as we watched by our servers who did a fantastic job . we had a selection of drinks wine, water, pop, or a beer bucket for 4 bottles for 9 euros ....the show was absolutely amazing from start to finish and well performed from all the people involved. they also tried and successfully got the audience involved that'd why I have a sore throat ...(lol) definitely recommend if you haven't been go with the family great night out and will definitely be back layer on this year ....thankyou for having us ..and keep up the good work .

Farmers' market
Mercadillo del Agricultor is an outstanding market to purchase fresh vegetables, located in a covered space. It offers a wide range of produce, including jams, herbs, spices, breads, and cakes. The market opens at 1000 hours and tends to be busy. Adjacent to the market is a convenient car park for visitors. Plastic gloves are provided upon entry, indicating an emphasis on hygiene. There may be restrictions on the number of people allowed inside at any given time.
Great place to buy vegetables. Covered market. A variety of fresh veg. Some jams, herbs and spices, also breads and cakes. We arrived at 1000 hours. It was busy. There is a car park next to the market. As you enter you are given plastic gloves to wear. I believe there is a limit on the number of persons allowed in at any one time. It is clean and well organized. The products are really fresh. Will definitely be back to do my shopping here.

It is a small but nice market full of local products: vegetables, fruit, fresh bread, meat, fish, spices, jam, honey, cakes and biscuits. The prices are not low, but I think the products are good quality. It is worth a visit if you are in the area!
Serena O — Google review
Very nice farmersmarket with local produce. Large parking also. It's refreshing to find real local food in tenerife, much unlike the industrial plastic packed garbage that's being sold in the supermarkets.
Ruben B — Google review
Differently worth to visit. A lot of fresh food, bread, fish, meet, vegetables. All that locals grow on their lands are here. Fresh honey, eggs, cheese and milk products.

Children's amusement center
Great secure play area for children and one notable thing is how clean the place is. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The areas are divided into ages which ensures that the play zones are suitable for this in them. There is ample seating area as they cater for parties. There is also seating areas for parents to wait for their children. There is also a shop where party items and other toys etc can be purchased. The price is very reasonable and it’s a great place for kids to run off steam. Stress free entertainment
Bibi F — Google review
This place is really cool, the staff are really great with kids and there is quite a varied variety of fun things outside the soft play such as virtual reality. The only thing is maybe could do with more staff to help run those other activities better.

Diverlandia - Children playing area. The special place to celebrate children birthdays. The playgrounds are differentiated by ages, it's fine thinking of the little ones. A small gift shop. Free parking.
Remis V — Google review
This place is great for a large age range. For 3 years and under, there is an enclosed area with a small ball pit that has a small slide going into it. A small Trampoline and obstacle course area is in the enclosed infant/toddler area. For 4 years to I believe 12 years (it might be 11 years) there is a big play area with, from what I could see, a fireman's pole, a large ball pit, a bounce area, and lots of other stuff. Parents are not allowed in this area but are allowed in the 3 and under area. They have a rope obstacle course, go cart area, games (they take Euros), and some rides. There is an area for parents to sit down and relax and have a snack and drink. They have coffee, slushies, candy bars, chips, ice cream bars, Popsicles, and cookies. The staff was very nice, professional, and helpful.

Great place to take the kids away from the sun. Very safe environment and friendly staff. No english speaking staff but were happy to talk through Google translate. Very friendly staff and plenty of seats indoor for parents to have a coffee. Great wee electric go-cart circuit too for bigger children.

Great place for the Birthday parties for kids. There is the play area, disco area, two separate rooms for the birthday meal and the birthday cake eating (this is the only 1 thing we couldn't understand, why children don't have all meal - snacks and cake together), gift giving and opening area. Staff is very friendly. There is also an area with tables and chairs for parents to wait their children. And it's a nice menu for snacks to be ordered as well. We all really enjoyed being there. The prices are normal
Zanna V — Google review
The kids (3 and 5) really enjoyed it, we stayed for 2 hours including a break for lunch, Pizza for the adults and Mini pizza and a sandwich for the kids. The food was very nice and the staff were very nice, the only downside was that no member of staff spoke much English, fortunately I have enough Spanish to get by. Good value too.

Chinese takeaway
Shan Oriental Restaurant is an excellent Asian establishment that offers a fusion of delectable dishes from Japan, Thailand, and China. Their menu boasts a diverse selection without compromising on quality. The Tuna tower served as a delightful starter, while the beef skewers were highly recommended. Although their Thai soup deviates slightly from tradition, it still manages to tantalize the taste buds. Additionally, the peeking duck is a standout dish that may not be entirely authentic but is thoroughly enjoyable.
100% The best Chinese restaurant i have been too. The food was very good & the restaurant is very clean and professional.
SWMIKETRUCKING — Google review
We finally had the chance to try Shan Oriental Restaurant yesterday, and overall, it was a very good experience—much better than the average for this area. While I have high standards for Asian food, this restaurant easily stands out as one of the best Chinese restaurants around. The Thai dishes, however, weren’t very authentic. For example, the duck we ordered was decent but lacked flavor. The sauce was great, but the duck itself seemed bland—definitely needed more seasoning or a proper marinade or brine to infuse flavors during cooking. That said, there’s a lot to like here. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the restaurant was busy, which is always a good sign. The food came out quickly, and the service was fantastic. Our server was very friendly, attentive, and spoke excellent English. The menu design was another highlight—it’s well-laid-out, with clear photos for every dish, making ordering easy. The sushi was very good, but a couple of small issues stood out. The shrimp could’ve been cleaned a bit better (see photo ), and the batter on the fried shrimp lacked flavor—it needed more seasoning, maybe just a touch of salt. These are small quality control details that could elevate the food even more. Prices are on the higher side, but given the quality and experience, I think it’s reasonable if you’re coming here occasionally. With just a few tweaks to the flavors and attention to details, this place could easily earn a 5-star rating from me. For now, I’d give it a solid 4.5. We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely Restaurant with friendly Staff and efficient Service. A good selection of various Sushi and hot asian dishes. Portions are generous. I can recommend the mongolian beef, thai duck and vegetable fried rice. It's all fresh and very tasty, Moderatley priced. Easy parking right behind the Restaurant. Update: Went back to Shan Oriental Restaurant 3 years later. The food was still very tasty. Sushi fresh and yummy. Only the Staff was a bit slow and listless this time. And had more Sushi just a few days later. Simply delicious
Markus K — Google review
I have eaten here several times and every dish was delicious and fairly priced. I recommend. Absolutely amazing sushi! Brilliant!
Ruslan K — Google review
A great Asian spot. They have a mix of food from Japan, Thailand and China. The Tuna tower was a great choice for appetizer, and the beef skewers are a must try. We had the Thai soup, which was not very traditional, but tasty. The peeking duck was also very good, again not 100% traditional, but we loved it and will come again.

Food came out slowly and not too tasty. Trying to get a waitress acknowledgement was difficult. Also not necessarily there fault, the other guests... Very loud.

Great service, good food and reasonable prices. Waiting time after first dish was quite long but I would chalk it up to their popularity. They serve Chinese, Thai and sushi. Recommended visit.

Campo de Golf - Golf del Sur is a stunning waterfront golf facility located in Tenerife. It boasts a championship course with 27 holes, making it the only one of its kind on the island. Designed by renowned architect Pepe Gancedo and expanded by Manuel Pinero, this golf course has hosted prestigious international competitions including the PGA European Volvo Tour and the LPGA European Evian Tour.
I think this is deserves a better rating overall. This has some great holes to test all standards with some lovely views. When the wind is affecting you, it’s quite a challenge. The course isn’t too long and we played from the white tees to make it just over 6200 yards. We played the front nine on the North Course then the back nine on the Links. Both quite different and should be name swapped as the North plays around the sea coast and the Links course plays around the town area. Whilst the course was very good, what we really appreciated afterwards was the staff and food at the restaurant. Very friendly and a family affair, so we felt really welcomed. The food choices are typical golf fare, but very generous portions and decent prices. We’ve played twice already and will be back for one more game before we leave
Ian C — Google review
Friendly staff and good golf course apart from one marshall who ruined the whole experience. Was hostile from the start due to us being new players - was aggressive and rude saying we will take too long and berated us after taking our shots. Highly unprofessional and not needed. White haired old marshall should take some time to reflect how he treats customers - the rest of the staff were lovely.
David A — Google review
We had read some of the reviews before choosing to play here and had some concern, particularly as my wife is relatively new to the game, however I have to say we loved it and had an overwhelmingly positive experience. All of the staff, at the counter, the grounds staff and course Marshalls were full of smiles, helpful and grateful for our custom. Yes, there is a lot going on and the course and driving range are going through major upgrades but the course still played well. We will definitely be coming back in the future. Thank you.
Terry B — Google review
Friendly staff, good quality food in the restaurant there, huge golf course (bigger than Amarilla), good prices. You can also book golf lessons there, which are worth it. Parking space is huge and the view is crazy. Even with a lot of people there, it's quiet, calm and there is always enough space. I recommend Golf del Sur
Bounty1004 — Google review
Amazing course, well kept, well organised good pricing for juniors, good pace and stunning views. Some holes demanded real accuracy and punished you if not. Some blind holes especially tricky. A great challenge, me and my 11 Yr old thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, the marshals were good and helped on the first tee and we had a great round. We will be back! Would choose this over amarilla as the experience there wasn't as good.
Mark T — Google review
The course at Golf del Golf Club is set in a beautiful location and has great potential. However, with construction expected to continue for the next four years, I’d recommend waiting until the works are complete. Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by a stiff and unwelcoming atmosphere. The ladies in the pro shop were not helpful, friendly, or accommodating, which set a disappointing tone from the start. While the grey-haired marshal has always been friendly, other staff on the course created the uncomfortable feeling of being watched constantly. After nine holes, we were told we had to place two bags in one buggy—apparently their rule—and they even brought us an empty one, which ended up sitting unused. In 20 years of playing golf, I’ve never encountered such a rule, and to make it more confusing, I later saw several buggies with only one bag. It’s a shame, as the location and layout show promise, but until the construction is complete and the atmosphere improves, I won’t be rushing back.
Stefan T — Google review
Simply a beautifully presented course in immaculate condition. Not too steep that you can't carry in the right weather but better when driving. Fast greens, challenging well placed hazards and some excellent views. The layout uses its mountainside position to give some satisfying tee shots. The staff are friendly and there is a comprehensive shop, bar and restaurant.
Mingo286 — Google review
The clubhouse and food were great, friendly and helpful staff would recommend the club sandwich. The start of the course on the other hand needs the works to finish quickly to make it 4-5stars. Once you get over the first few holes it is a great course to play with plenty of questions asked but also friendly enough for all levels.

Each hole presents unique challenges and choices, making every round a delightful adventure.
10/10 Amazing golf course with sunny weather and perfect located in the south of the island. The staff is so friendly, professional and qualified. I’ve always found good weather and incredible views. Nice size pitch and putt and have cameras so you can check the weather online.

Recently played whilst on holiday nearby ,We booked before we went and also hired clubs . We were joined by a lovely chap from Switzerland, who also had great knowledge of the course which helped us out . I found the staff in the pro shop miserable and not very helpful at all. The hired clubs weren't great and over 10 years old . The course itself was in good condition with some fantastic views and some great holes The fairways were quite narrow but I really enjoyed the day. Visited the bar afterwards, and the staff were friendly and provided a good service and also booked us a taxi which was no problem, the club sandwich and beers were very good.

Amarilla Golf Club offers great value for the price. The views over the ocean and surrounding landscape are absolutely stunning and make the round really enjoyable. Course conditions were decent—not perfect, but certainly playable and well-maintained in most areas. Overall, a very enjoyable experience that balances cost, scenery, and playability well. Would happily return! I got stuck behind 3 slow moving groups which was a little frustrating, but all good!

Nice golf club and great staff. First three holes are clearly being updated as they are not great and very poor. But from home 4 to 18, a nice course. Greens ok and club house nice. With a bit more work it could be great.
Rob J — Google review
The course from hole 4-18 would on their own be 4 stars, with some lovely golf holes and wonderful views of the ocean. Plenty of questions asked with varying length of holes. What lets it down are the first few holes and the facilities. The buggy bar was also rather lacking in what it had to offer. The food isn’t anything to write home about but is edible. With a little bit of work on the first few holes, the food and improving the wash facilities for after your round it would easily be 4stars.
Jack F — Google review
Absolutely loved teeing off at Amarilla Golf Club! The course itself was a challenge, but fair, with narrow fairways that demanded accuracy. But the real star of the show was the scenery. Playing those seaside holes with the ocean breeze and incredible views was unforgettable. If you're a golfer looking for a scenic and rewarding round, Amarilla is a must-play!
Zdenek K — Google review
Quite a fun course, some nice views but also felt like playing around a building site at times as well. We played golf del sur this week and it was much better, better kept better views, better organised as well and cost less money for us as they could manage their booking system. What disappointed me was the difficulty in booking, I was playing with a junior and couldn't book a junior rate online, they couldn't book an adult and a junior over the phone and asked me to book partially online and when I got there, then they were unable to give me the junior rate when I got there, badly organised in my opinion so I overpaid. Also they started people from tee 4 but people were starting from tee 1 by accident and ended up in front of us when we got there hugely slowing pace down, needed someone properly advising people. Greens were good, fairways OK, and some holes were great fun hitting over the ocean and ravines. Good mix of forgiving holes and those that demanded accuracy. Would play again but would choose golf del sur first as a better course and better organised.
Mark T — Google review
Had a great time at this golf course. Played after 3pm so got the twilight rate. And managed to finish playing the last hole in the dark which is a par 3. So wasn’t too bad. I would recommend this golf course as for value for money it was great. Some spectacular holes. There seemed to be a lot of new building of tee boxes and refreshing the course which is promising too. The greens were very true and received a ball very well.

Located in the coastal area of Costa del Silencio, Monumento Natural de Montaña Amarilla is a protected natural space with rugged volcanic rock formations and a shifting sand dune. A must see place in Tenerife! It's really special, I haven't seen a place like this anywhere else. The colors are so different that it takes some time to understand what exactly you are looking at... Long story short, the yellowest rocks ever !

Fantastic lava rock formation with a great view and amazing snorkling in the water adjacent. It's a fairly easy 10 minute (max) walk to the top of you're in reasonable shape. We walked around the caldera top and later circumnavigated the foot of the slopes. Easy bus trip here from Los Christianos area, local town has supermarkets, restaurants and cafes

Walking shoes are best for this place. The mountain has a layered side that offers a perfect spot for sunbathing but you can also climb up and then follow the scenic coastal path towards Los Abrigos. However as the location is very popular it can get crowded at times. Anyway, for it's unique charm, it is a must visit in Costa del Silencio

Really cool place to visit. You can take some cool photos but be careful when walking on rocks, it can get quite slippery and windy. Also, Google maps may say it’s closed but it really isn’t. Don’t go by the opening times just show up. It’s not like it’s fenced off or anything. It also has a nice place to hike near by which has amazing views.

Beautiful area - full of life and color. While Costa de Silencio might not be the best place to place to stay on the south island, this nature area makes it top-notch.

Nestled in a serene corner, Encanto Pizzeria is the perfect spot for a delightful dining experience. With both indoor and outdoor covered seating options, it provides a cozy atmosphere to enjoy freshly made dishes. Guests rave about their generous portions, especially the Capricciosa pizza topped with mozzarella, ham, artichokes, and mushrooms—an absolute must-try! The fries are crispy and well-seasoned too.
Food was very delicious! Mushroom brushetta and caprese salad amazing, pizza yummy and burger very good. And very nice waiter. Highly recommend!

This is a lovely local restaurant situated in a quiet area. There is both indoor and outdoor covered eating areas. The food is freshly cooked and flavoursome but I was a bit disappointed that they did not have the only ravioli was cheese but I appreciate they cannot accommodate all tastes. Everyone enjoyed their experience and I have to add this is good quality and inexpensive. They also do takeout food

Great prices and delicious food! I recommend trying the shrimp pasta — it was really tasty. The waiter was very friendly, and overall I’m very satisfied. Definitely worth a visit!

The best pizza we had in Tenerife, nice service, good prices and a lot of parking places. One star less for pasta with seafood which was a little tasteless, but for pizza I recommend this place a lot!

Encanto Pizzeria offers a good menu selection. The prices are very reasonable the quality of the food is excellent and the service is very friendly and welcoming. They offer a Sunday lunch 3 course for €15,50

First time visiting here. Quite quiet when we arrived - sat in the outside covered area. Service very quick and efficient. We had a Capricciosa pizza (mozzarella, tomato sauce, egg, ham, artichokes & mushrooms) and requested spinach as an extra topping, plus a small portion of fries. The size is generous and we found one pizza between us was ample. The pizza was the best we’ve tasted, all freshly made. The fries were crisp, non greasy and well seasoned. We will definitely be visiting again - Would highly recommend.

Dropped in early one Saturday evening. Were seated immediately indoors, our choice. Heated seating available outside. Great pizza - thin, authentic. Also chose Zola burger - great for smaller appetites. Nice selection of light desserts, including Magnums! Had a very pleasant visit. Will definitely be back.

Customers praise the quality of ingredients used in their pizzas and the quick preparation time. The friendly staff and skilled chefs contribute to the enjoyable dining experience. Additionally, they offer homemade pita bread for kebabs and serve oversized pizzas with a diameter exceeding 50cm.
Amazing pizza and kebabs from here. The pizzas are made fresh whilst you wait and you can choose any combination you fancy. The kebabs are the best available on the island. The staff are friendly and helpful. Always taken our orders away but you can sit outside in a nice enclosed area and have a drink with your food of choice. It’s a must try

Well I'm a bit of a pizza nut and I love Pizza Lab because they use fresh ingredients. I hate when pizza places use tinned mushrooms on a pizza! Nothing but fresh veg and a really good home made sauce. I always have ham and mushroom but the calzone is also awesome! You won't be disappointed!!!

First time of visiting tonight, I’d heard the kebabs were good. They are! I had the mixed chicken & doner kebab, salad and chilli sauce.. huge portion size, quality meat and the sauce has a fair old kick! Excellent value for money and I will be back! 👌🏼

Very nice restaurant, the best of our trip so far. Service was a little slow but if you want to enjoy a nice meal rather than just eat then that is no bad thing. No vegetarian options.

An amazing hidden gem! This was probably the best food I’ve had in all of Spain!! The starter ensalada de langostinos y salmón was stellar and super flavorful. The bacalao con ajo frito y codillo con verduras y patatas were SO filling and delicious. The bacalao was so light and fresh! The Codillo was so tender that the server rolled it a few times and all the meat fell of the bone😋. Such a wonderful meal. Make sure you reserve in advance if you want a make sure you get a table. It got pretty packed very shortly after 19:30, when the kitchen opens for dinner

The nature reserve Reserva Ambiental San Blas is an appealing location for jogging. It is currently overwhelmed and unavailable for guests. However, it provides a serene setting by the ocean, making it an ideal spot for practicing Yoga. The area offers a delightful stroll and is well-known among the public. It boasts stunning natural surroundings and allows visitors to appreciate its beauty firsthand.
Excellent. Highly recommended. A great hike around the San Blas reserve. Highly recommend taking this guided tour. Book at hotel reception. Start by the museum (2nd floor), look around the museum room with multimedia presentation then continued out hiking around. The walking is fairly easy and can be done in casual shoes or trainers. Suitable for children and adults. The tour guide was excellent : he was very knowledgeable and obviously passionate about the area and history. Our tour was presented in English, the guide also fluent in Spanish. The tour ends in the "tunnel experience" back at the hotel which again is a nice suprise and very informative : connects well with the museum and hike. Well worth more than the tour price. Not too be missed.

The trip tends to get full, so buy before from the hotel reception before hand. We were charged €15/p. Our guide was very good and explained the history and why the rocks look different at different places and the people who lived. Note this tour starts inside the hotel, and does some warmup in 2 halls where they introduce the era and history, after which the walk begins. Get walking shoes and take water with you as it can get warm.

Our visit to the San Blas Nature Reserve in Tenerife was super! The guide was incredibly welcoming and ensured we had a fantastic experience, taking great care of us. We learned so much about the history of the island and volcanic terrain. Also did some great plane spotting. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Tenerife!

La Bodega de San Miguel is a charming restaurant that captures the essence of traditional Canarian culture, nestled in a picturesque cobbled street lined with historic cottages. This delightful eatery offers an array of delicious local dishes, showcasing the best of Canarian produce, from goat cheese to honey. Diners rave about the generous portions and flavorful tapas, such as their grilled platter and unique ham and cheese combinations.
We dined at this restaurant yesterday night, we were really hungry because our flight was delayed. The only option nearby was this place and it really satisfied our expectations. Food was delicious, service was polite and friendly. The chef seemed really nice, overall i would definitely go back, the only thing that left me disappointed was the price of the jamon iberico which in my opinion was very expensive. Other than that 10/10.

The food was delicious, highly recommend the beef tenderloin, cooked to perfection! Such a peaceful town so we were the only ones in the restaurant.

Waited a lot for the order even if the restaurant was almost empty. Waiters were not polite and took the order wrong. They don’t speak english. Food was ok but we only had some salads and shimps.

Wonderful restaurant for dinner with lots of character. We ordered 2 starters and a main - the asparagus and the 'synchronisation of ham & cheese' were delicious. We shared the grilled platter for 2 which was fantastic. Large portions - don't bother with a starter each, just share as we had to take the rest of our meat platter home. Great service and guidance on wine. A must if you're staying in San Miguel or nearby!

Too expensive for what you get. Both the goat and rabbit dishes were mainly bones and fat, and tasted very similar (same sauce). We ordered potatoes with onions as a side but received Canarian potatoes. Ambience nice, service staff ver friendly.

My partner and I recently had a fantastic dining experience at Dolce Vita. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the hostess Claudia who guided us to a beautiful table in the stunning restaurant. The waiters, Alejandro and Gulliamo, were extremely amicable and provided thorough explanations of our food options. We enjoyed a perfectly cooked fillet steak which was both sizable and accompanied by fresh ingredients on a delicious spicy pizza. The red wine served was of decent quality, complementing our meal nicely.
Have been here for the last three nights, the best value restaurant I’ve ever been. I had steak, pizza and lasagne for the three nights. The pizza was genuinely one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Alberto and all his staff super friendly with accommodating our very young daughter. 10/10

A hidden gem! We don’t stay at the resort, but the restaurant is open to all, and is absolutely worth a visit. The setting is elegant and tasteful, with real attention to detail. Service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. I had the pizza vegana (with added cheese); the vegetables were fresh and perfectly al dente. For dessert, the torta della nonna was a lovely lemon and pine nut tart. My partner also really enjoyed his gnocchi and semifreddo. Only small remark: dessert portions could be a bit larger. Still, we’d absolutely recommend this place!

What a wonderful experience we had here with Luca at the Giro de la pizza experience. We tried some amazing Italian pizzas and other Italian staple dishes. The food and service was superb! Luca was a wonderful host who taught us so many awesome things not only about the food in Italy but also the culture. Everyone should book this experience at least once. The next I come to this hotel I will be booking my experience as well in La Dolce Vida. Thanks Luca and staff for a wonderful time!

I recently had a delightful experience at La Dolce Vita in Barcelo Tenerife. We were welcomed by Alejandro. The welcoming atmosphere, stylish interior reminiscent of James Bond vibes, and the Italian menu with diverse pastas and flavors impressed me. Highly recommend!

Fantastic. We’re a family who love Italian food so I was prepared to be disappointed. Couldn’t have been more wrong. Carpaccio was perfect and a huge portion. Focaccia bread and polenta chips were yum and the filet steak was cooked exactly as we’d ordered. Can’t comment on dessert as we just couldn’t eat another mouthful! Service was excellent, attentive but not in your face.

Barbecue restaurant
Guachinche El Cordero offers a unique dining experience in Tenerife, set in a plant-decked dining room and garden area. The restaurant is known for serving classic Canarian dishes, with a focus on grilled meats. While the ambiance is charming, with bananas hanging from trees and goats in a special area, the food steals the show.
Guachinche El Cordero – Authentic Canarian Flavor & Cozy Vibes If you want to experience the true taste of Tenerife, Guachinche El Cordero is the place to be. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with a rustic charm that instantly makes you feel at home. The food? Simply amazing. Think traditional Canarian dishes cooked with love and packed with flavor. From tender grilled meats to hearty stews and fresh local sides, every bite tells a story of the island’s culinary heritage. Whether you’re there with friends or family, the friendly service and lively vibe make every meal feel special.
Nawras A — Google review
Unfortunately, this restaurant is a classic tourist trap. The location is great, but that’s where the positives end. The prices are significantly higher than average, and the quality of the food simply doesn’t match. This is a 8 euro salad. A joke, the vegetables were not even fresh 🫠 Also, they have tips included in the bill, 2 euro/person as they bring you bread. First time seeing this in Tenerife.
Ana P — Google review
The food was okay. As a starter, we had some green peppers, then I ordered chicken with Canarian potatoes while my friend had pork ribs. The chicken was very tasty and the portion was large, but the ribs were mostly fat rather than meat. At the beginning, we were served bread and some dips, which later appeared on the bill charged per person at the table. I don’t think this approach is very fair, since we didn’t choose to order that food and it should rather be offered as a welcome snack from the house. However, I noticed that many restaurants in Tenerife seem to follow this practice and charge for it.
Bianca — Google review
Nice place with bad food. We got there by recommendation - the place looks outstanding with all the nature inside. But that's were the good things ends. Any of meats were uneatable - so baldy done you can break a jaw. Fish felt like chewing gum - and we're by the coast of the ocean were any random fish tastes like heaven. Last but not least the waiter felt like having the PhD in being rude. After big discussions some of the dishes were cancelled of the bill. Not getting back there.
Tomasz P — Google review
If I could give it 0, I would. Unless you order something grilled, it's bad. There should never be plastic floating in the food. The carne fiesta pork dish, which was just chunks with some chips, came in a gopping oil soup, which I drained onto another plate and even then everything was drenched. When I found the plastic and complained 'Fernando' the supposed 'manager' who waited our table gave us excuses saying sometimes this happens because of how it's cooked???unacceptable really. My partner ordered a starter which never arrived and when asked was told it had run out, yet no one told us. The veg starter I ordered was a mix of unseasoned and overcooked veg slices. Only redeeming quality was the red canary wine we had. Were told afterwards that he was NOT the manager, just the supervisor, and complaints won't go anywhere because the manager doesn't care. Totally avoid, food sucked and made me very queasy. Terrible atmosphere with unhappy waiters, and open plan with no bug lights so expect lots of mosquitos.
Heidy B — Google review
The worst restaurant in Tenerife I’ve ever been to. Bad quality, food not tasty at all. Service was chaotic from the very beginning until the end. Nobody came to ask if everything was fine, and when we finished, still nobody came. Important to know: They add 2€ to the bill for bread and sauces, even if you don’t ask for them. They don’t split bills. The whole atmosphere was disorganized and unpleasant. In the end, our stomachs hurt after the meal. Definitely not recommended.
A — Google review
The worst experience I ever had. We ordered steak, medium, it came out cold and rare, chewy. The waitress did not speak english at all, he was very unfriendly aswell. Also it was a weird smell in the restaurant. Do not go there unless you want to waste tour money.
Klára T — Google review
BIG TURIST TRAP!! Im very angry at the staff because they’re not friendly and don’t take orders right ,they forgot 2 orders. We waited like an hour for our food, when i came the food was cold and didn’t have taste. The squids are gummy like a car tire. The only good things were the free bananas at the end and when we left the restaurant. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN!!! Not even the cat ate the food. The best thing to eat are the bananas.
