Castello Scaligero is a historic fortress dating back to the late 1100s, offering stunning views of the lake and surrounding area. The castle houses the Museum of the Scaliger Castle, which showcases historical and cultural artifacts related to the region's fishing and olive growing industries, as well as archaeological findings from Lake Garda. Visitors can also explore citrus gardens within the castle grounds.
Wonderful stories about the work done on those old ages. Incredible views and very well kept. Enjoyed every minute.

Great castle to visit, climb to the top of the tower for a magnificent veiw over the hillside and the lake. Lots of fishing history captured in the displays.
Richard — Google review
Beautiful castle, great view. But I have to admit, the museum inside the castle was not for me.
Stefan G — Google review
What great little castle, you get access to the top of the tower for great views on the town. Loads of information about the history of the town and the lake is available here.
Phil S — Google review
Great views from the castle ramparts down the lake and over the town. Some interesting displays in the museum rooms. Torri is a lovely place and the castle is well worth a visit.

Thrilling ascend to the top of the tower. Nice views of the lake and surrounding area.

Castell Scaligero is a place you can visit but you don't really 'have to'. It's good for a nice view and to learn something about local fishing traditions and the previous owners. If you take the ferry from Maderno to Torri you can go and see the castle at the same time, since it is located in Torri.
Martin H — Google review
Castello Scaligero, in which is an ethnographical museum which shows exhibitions about freshwater fishing, the history of the place itself, and information about Olive trees. There are two areas inside that castle which were truly stunning, though: one of them being the Limonaia, a lemon garden which dates back to 1760. It’s truly impressive to see all these trees among the old walls. The other was the view from the tower and the walls. It’s a rather steep climb, and you have to really mind your head once, but the view from the top is definitely worth it. Sadly we had a lot of fog that day, but I can imagine that the view must be truly stunning with clear skies.

Park
Parco di Villa Melisa, a charming park located in Torri del Benaco, offers a picturesque setting overlooking Lake Garda. The park features a playground for children, a cozy café (open during summer), and well-maintained gardens with plenty of shady spots. Additionally, it houses an elderly club and provides advice to olive growers through the AIPO headquarters. Visitors can enjoy picnicking or simply relaxing while kids have fun in this family-friendly environment.
Picturesque playground with a small cafe and we'll kept gardens right on the lake shore.

This lovely park, set beside Lake Garda is a green haven in the small town of Torri del Benaco. There is a small children’s playground and a cosy café, plus picnic benches and lots of ordinary benches, placed in shady spots. At one end of the park is a beautiful olive grove. Lido Brancolino, a delightful beach pavilion, offers a fantastic experience with its charming bar serving delicious snacks. It provides everything you need for a day of sun-soaked relaxation, including equipment rentals. The location is ideal for nature enthusiasts and those seeking LGBTQ+ friendly beaches as it offers easy access to the small naturist beaches towards Garda and Punta Vigilio. However, finding parking nearby can be challenging due to the high influx of visitors on scooters or motorcycles.
Nice beach with a bar with snacks were you can rent everything for a day in the sun. You can take a walk frim here to the small naturist mostly gay beaches toward garda and Punta Vigilio. Bridge
Sights & Landmarks
Pedestrian bridge spanning a steep-sided ravine & accessed by looped trails through a forest.
I wouldn't say that the hike is difficult or dangerous for people that went hiking before. But it's very slippery, so I would recommend only to go when it's dry. The most dangerous thing is that you could slip on the rocks. It's perfect for those, who like a little challenging walks. It's only about 2 Kilometres walk (40mins) but it's quite steep sometimes. First I wanted to do the walk with my trainers, but a nice old Italian man at the parking spot told me to put on hiking shoes. He was damn right!! It's sooo slippery. Wear hiking shoes!!! You can also choose different paths and there are signs everywhere. You can't get lost. I parked at Malga Biancari. It's for free and there is a very nice BBQ area with drinking water. Perfect for having lunch/dinner there :)
K. E — Google review
Nice bridge. Trail gets surprisingly rocky and steep. Good shoes are recommended, but I did not have hiking shoes and managed. It was try so not slippery, but if it was winter or wet, I would need hiking shoes. Could not do a loop as the path required "special equipment" and probably would mean getting my feet wet in the river.
Harvey W — Google review
I didn't reach the bridge because the hike there should be a bit long/hard but the 5 stars for the area - it is beautiful! If you want to see the bridge from below (from the river that runs beneath it) it's possible and the hike is not too long! The hike starts a few meters from the restaurant "Chesini Italo" so you can navigate there and start the hike - please make sure you read more about it BEFORE you get there. For that search maps for: "Valle dei Progni di Fumane". Enjoy! 😊

This is a lovely back street pizzeria with charming staff, and a laid back atmosphere. Full of locals, which I always find is a good indicator of quality. Simple homemade food, they use organic flour and buy local. It's built in what appears to be a cellar, a bonus on a hot day. The homemade spaghetti with a simple garlic, chilli and oil dressing was delicious. There is no cover charge, a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend.

If you're looking to savor authentic Italian cuisine of the highest quality, then a visit to Ristorante MoLá is a must. Unlike most restaurants in Torri, it may not be located by the waterfront, but trust me when I say that it's definitely worth going out of your way for. Although their menu may be on the smaller side, every dish is a delight that you'll want to try. The food here stands out from other establishments with its unique and exquisite flavors.
Amazing authentic place with a small seasonal menu. The homemade pasta was so good that we ordered a second round. We were happy to see that many dishes were vegetarian, which is hard to find in the area. The interior is cozy and has a personal touch.

Everything about this place is incredible! The food, wow. Service is warm and efficient. He took the time to explain the menu to me and was very welcoming. Atmosphere, relaxing, homey and classy. I’ve eaten in many restaurants in the area and this is my favorite. Will try to come back for sure :)
Nathalie M — Google review
One of, if not, the best traditional Italian meals we have eaten over the years. We were advised to book this eatery at the back of the more touristy and aesthetic lakeside. And in the searing heat of July, not the most pleasant temperature as we discovered a couple of years back. Anyway, greeted by a slightky stressed looking owner, Aldo. He had a fully booked restaurant which he incredibly served on his own and with great charm and humour. The courses are all in Italian, but, thankfully the ever reliant Aldo was there to guide us. Very traditional Northern Italian fare in a very traditional setting. Food was of a very high standard and great to see several high quality restaurants in beautiful Torri del Benaco. Ps - We were inside to dine, nice and airy and Aldo kept us entertained musically by consistently topping up the vinyls on his record player. Ristorante Mo La the highlight food wise of an overall very good culinary experience at Lake Garda. Highly recommended

We were here 3 times within 2 weeks - that alone says something about the wonderful and delicious food they offer. Always fresh and seasonal and very child friendly as well. We have been traveling in Italy for a week now, and this place has been the best so far. We enjoy fine dining and have visited several Michelin- Rocomended restaurants this week, but this one has truly stood out. The Ristorante Pizzeria Paradiso in Torri del Benaco, Verona, is a highly recommended restaurant that offers stunning views of the beautiful Lago Di Garda. I really recommend this restaurant to everybody visiting Torri del Benaco, also if you are staying at the beach since it's really close. The food quality is amazing and the prices are more than fair! The location makes it even better since they have a terrace right next to the lake under some trees that provide some shade. The food we ordered came quickly and the waiter was really nice.

Lakeside seating, attentive staff, pizzas looked great. We opted for fish, with my partner enjoying a whole, boneless lake trout, whilst I opted for a mixed fried fish option which was so large I couldn't finish it. With a couple of drinks, a salad and covers, the bill was 54 Euros- good value. Toilets were good and clean. I hope to return soon.

Loved this restaurant in Torri del Garda. Located right on the waterfront of spectacular Lago Di Garda one of my favourite places to visit in Italy. Panoramic views of this exquisite lake are breathtaking. The service is excellent, staff very friendly & speak several languages. My travelling companion had the locally caught salmon which was delicious & I had Costolette di agnello. Equally delicious & cooked to perfection. A nice selection of local wines available to accompany the meal. We liked this restaurant so much we returned the following evening. Can highly recommend.

Osteria al Porto is a traditional restaurant located in Lungolago Regina Adelaide, offering generous seafood dishes and a cozy dining experience with a lakefront terrace. The restaurant provides a peaceful view of the sunset and serves a wide range of Italian, European, and Mediterranean dishes. Known for its vibrant seafood selection including squid, octopus, tuna, capers, mussels, and clams served in significant portions.
This restaurant is in torre del Benaco. In my opinion it is one of the most beautiful places on Lake Garda. The restaurant has a perfect spot over the lake. So romantic. I have eaten there many times. The food and service are excellent. On this occasion, I had lasagne and tirimasu, which was amazing I drank rose wine. At the end I had a complimentary glass of lemoncello. I returned later and sat on a lovely sofa in the sun. It is a reasonable price and the sort of place that memories are made of.

Absolutely fabulous place to eat in Garda! We came for a lunch on a very sunny Thursday afternoon in May. We chose to sit inside - just to the open edge of the restaurant to avoid the heat down by the lakeside. First place we've been to where we all commented on how comfortable the seats were! Anyway to the food. This place is clearly specialized in seafood and it does not disappoint. I started with a light caprese and the had the mussels and scallop plate as main. Incredible. The seafood platters that were coming out to other tables look spectacular! Kids had the usual pasta and pizza, which were both very good. Nice bit of novelty with the pasta being plated up next to the table. Staff very friendly, helpful and speak English well. Highly recommended.

The inside is possible to reserve but the outside is first arrived first served so either call to book at least one day before either come early, otherwise the wait time is around 30-1 hour on holiday and weekend. We arrived just after the rain and the waiter helped us to find the best place. Very thoughtful indeed. We ordered the two seafood plateau, with both quantity and quality, the food are very fresh and well prepared. All the famiy enjoyed the time ! And the dessert was also very delicious.

The food was delicious but the staff was terrible. The waiter didn’t really care about our table, we had to order water 3 times to get it. The way of serving was just unprofessional. If you are looking for place with good vibe, avoid this one. Additionally it is a pretty expensive restaurant.
Helena K — Google review
Looks can be deceiving and I simply cannot understand the hype behind this place. It is the worst meal I had during my trip in Garda. If the picture of scrambled-eggs-Carbonara won't convince you then I don't know what will. The staff was kind enough to find us a table without booking which was really appreciated. However that kindness ended here. For the entire duration of the meal I have never received more dismissive and almost passive aggressive service. From bumping into us multiple times, almost spilling drinks, to throwing hand towels at the table without even looking or acknowledging us, to not even checking on us. After the waiter collected the almost untouched plate and finally asked how the meal was, there was no reaction or even an acknowledgement of my poor feedback. Aside from extremely eggy and stodgy carbonara, we received bland seafood pasta. At least that was cooked well but it was tasteless. My favourite part was us leaving. I'm sorry Garda, I just don't get it. Plenty of other nice places around.

A nice place to stop and rest for a bite/drink. Lake view and nice seafood menu. Service was friendly.

This is a good place for fish dishes right on the port. Food was lovely but service is a bit bish-bash-bosh. Once you are seated, waiters are hovering for your order. Once you have eaten, plates are cleared almost as you take your last mouthful. It's not very relaxing, all in all the meal was over in 45 minutes and when on holiday, I would prefer to take my time and enjoy the experience some more
