Rides & Activities
Walibi Belgium is a seasonal amusement park located near Wavre, a city known for its historic castle and natural reserves. The park offers a mix of kids-only attractions, roller coasters, carousels, and an observation wheel. Easily accessible by train or car, the park has been entertaining visitors since 1975 and continues to introduce new thrill rides every few years.
So, we hit up this awesome theme park on Monday, rolling in around 10 am. Parking was super easy to find and cost us 13 bucks per car—not bad at all! Even though we got there pretty early, the place was already buzzing, so my advice? Try to arrive even earlier if you can. It’s a themed park, and honestly, the vibe is totally unique. Make sure you grab a guide brochure as soon as you walk in—super handy for planning your day. The rides are just amazing; I can’t even pick a favorite, but we ended up riding KONDAA three times—couldn’t get enough! The restrooms are spotless and kept up really well. Plus, they’re everywhere and even match the theme of each area—super cool touch. When you need a break, the food court’s a great spot. Prices for food and drinks are pretty fair for a place like this, so no complaints there. Every corner of the park looks fantastic, and I took a ton of photos—couldn’t help myself! The staff were super helpful, and loads of them spoke English, French, or Dutch, so communication was a breeze. If you want to chill, there are plenty of tables and chairs for picnics, and you’re allowed to bring your own food and drinks, which is awesome. And when it’s time for a ride, there are lockers right there so you can stash your stuff and grab it after—super convenient. Honestly, for what you pay, you get so much out of it. I’d totally recommend bringing your friends or family here for a fun day out. Big thanks to all the Walibi Belgium team for making our visit so memorable!

The waiting times are not that bad when we went on a Saturday, one week after school starts. The map is easy to understand and navigate. The bathrooms are everywhere, be easily located and well maintained. So many food options. AND, they are not that strict with food and drinks! You can bring your own snacks and eat even while queueing. The only downside we felt was, the very short time of rides… we felt a little unsatisfied for each thrills.
The G — Google review
It's a fun theme park with lots of different rides and things to do for all ages. The themes are executed well and everything looks very clean. I do recommend you skip the werewolf and vampire rollercoasters as you're more likely to get out of those two with some injury than without. Some of the staff look and act like they don't give a ..., which is a bummer and takes away from the fact that overall, you can enjoy quite a nice day here.

I must say that in last two weeks we were at 6 different parks in NL and BE. But this one is from today my favorite? On app that you download for free you can see waiting time on all attractions. Food is delicious and not expensive! Also waiting time is or at least was not more then 35min at that was only on one attraction. So easy can go on other one and wait just 5min. Personal is very nice. What i also must mention is the environment, the places are very nicely managed and create perfect atmosfere.
Marek P — Google review
It was a very hot day and there were excessive waiting times. There was no ventilation system or air conditioning in the closed areas, I was really overwhelmed. And the device I waited in line for 20 minutes broke down.
Muhammed A — Google review
Terrible experience. You already pay extra for the Halloween edition (€57), and once inside, the haunted houses cost even more (€8,50). There was one haunted house free, but when we wanted to queue for it, we were told it had closed at 20:30, even though it stayed open until 22h. When we asked why, we were told, “It’s closed, can’t you see that?” with no explanation given. The food was also extremely overpriced: €9 for a dry sandwich and €6 for six tiny churros. The waiting times were even worse. Some rides had queues of more than 1.5 hours, and two attractions were out of order. To make matters worse, there were very few “freaks” or actors in costume. Only four zones had scare actors walking around, while the rest of the park there weren't. They could have done this so much better. And don’t forget the €13 parking fee at the end of the day! It was a disastrous day, definitely not recommended, and it will be the last time we visit. Please reduce the park’s capacity, that would make the experience much more enjoyable for everyone.
Emma — Google review
Fantastic place! You can experience a lot of emotions and a huge adrenaline rush there. A place with attractions for both adults and children from 90 cm tall 😀. I recommend it.
Mo N — Google review
The park was amazing. All the attractions were really good and fun. My favourite one is the Konda. I suggest to go there early(11AM)so you should not wait a lot for the best rides and then spend the whole day there.

Water & Amusement Parks
Swimming pool
Aqualibi is a year-round indoor waterpark located at the entrance to Walibi Belgium. The park features a variety of high-speed and gentle water slides, a wave pool, and a dedicated kids' zone. The indoor facility boasts glass roofs, housing attractions such as a relaxation pool with massage jets, Laguna Verde heated to 36C with accompanying jacuzzis, and thrilling slides suitable for all ages. Visitors can enjoy river rapids and periodic waves in the main pool.
Here my detailed review: Entry fee & Parking: Parking is shared with walibi theme park. 13€ is kinda expensive but if you pay parking at the Aqualibi desk, its only 11€. The entry fee for Aqualibi is around 35€ which is ok but also not cheap but on the limit. Sadly there is no combi ticket together with the theme park. Also a chip wristband paying system could be useful, so you dont have to bring a wallet to the pool bar. Since Aqualibi is open till 10pm, it offers a nice additional experience after spending a day at Walibi, which closes already at 6pm. I entered Aqualibi at 5pm. The crowds were mid and only the new slides had some waiting. Changing rooms: The changing rooms are clean, its also unisex. Lockers are fine and are NO upcharge. Also note their clothing policy, they dont allow shorts. Pools: The main pool area is themed to some degree and features some rockwork. It has a medium sized wave pool, which can be pretty packed. The waves were only turning on once in the 2,5 hours I was there. There is also a nice relaxing Lagoon with some whirlpools. Kids play areas are right next to the Lagoon. For the ambient temperature it was kinda chilly at some spots (outdoors it was 20°C) with lots of AC running. The water temperature was just right. The cleanliness in the pools was not so great but thats usual if there is lots of people. Slides: So this is the park's main focus. The dome with the wave pool offers some slides (these are the older ones). Here you have some chill tire slides (like Bi-bob) but also some faster slides like Flash and Extreme (this one has a nasty direction change where you almost flip over). Next to the lagoon, there is the very well themed Rapido river slide. This one is lots of fun with much variation and even features a "disco" cave. Its a very chaotic and wild slide. Only minus is that they dont regulate how many people are on the Rapido, I felt like being in a "people avalanche" where you constantly bump into others or they bump into you. For the new slides, you had to wait a bit (max. 10-15min). You wait at the bottom to get a tire and then walk up to the slide's start. The slide with the bowl and with the half pipe were very popular, fun and exciting. The slides where you lie belly down on a mat are also fun but not as fast and exciting. The banzai slides (featuring 2 uphill passages) was nice but way too short and kinda slow. Cool idea but not as exciting as the others. Also not that banzai requires 2 people on a tire/boat, if you are below 68kg. After around 6pm the waits dropped significantly to even zero on most slides. (Was there on a friday) For me 3h were enough to have a good time and experience everything and doing multiple laps on the slides. Verdict: ++ slide selection ++ great in the evening after being at Walibi + theming, especially on rapido + free lockers ~ mid cleanliness ~ pricing not cheap but also not expensive ~ no chip payment wristbands

Decent Fun, But Major Downsides I visited Aqualibi recently and while the slides and attractions themselves were enjoyable, several important issues affected the overall experience. Firstly, there was no proper ventilation or fresh air inside the building. It felt stuffy and uncomfortable, especially after spending more time in the pool areas. It’s a water park – fresh air is essential. Waiting times were also a big downside. We had to stand in line far too long for most slides, which really took away from the fun. The park was crowded, but queue management could definitely be improved. When it comes to food, the quality does not match the price at all. It’s overpriced for what you get – both in taste and portion size. Finally, there was too much chlorine in the water. It irritated the eyes and skin, and the smell was overwhelming in certain areas. Aqualibi has potential, but unless some of these issues are addressed, I’m not sure I’d rush to return.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an amazing day at Aqualibi Brussels! The kids had the best time — it’s a wonderfully fun and safe place to enjoy with family and friends, including young children right from toddler age. The facilities are well kept, the atmosphere is lively, and there’s plenty for everyone to enjoy, no matter the age group. One small suggestion: while the swimming costume policy is understandable and important for everyone’s safety and hygiene, it would be very helpful if this information was highlighted more clearly when purchasing tickets online. That way, guests can be fully prepared and avoid any confusion or disappointment upon arrival. Overall, a fantastic experience and we are already looking forward to visiting again soon!

Recently visited Aqualibi on weekday around 1pm. It was too crowded due to sunny day (probably) and waited more than hour outside entrance. Considering dress code requirement , they need tight shorts for men and length should be above knee for dames. If you don’t have already so they force to buy from premises at much higher price, for instance men shorts priced 17.90€ talking about inner atmosphere, it’s quite ok. There are 4 news water slides which are quite fast and thrilling experience. Others slides are not that fast but quite good to enjoy. There are pools and slides for kids less than 1.20m height which is also quite nice. Parking is 11€ for day , can be bought from ticket counter. Lockers are included with ticket pass and also handy. Good shower facility available , but you must have own shampoo/soap :) Overall satisfied with managing staff and Experience.

We had a fantastic visit to Aqualibi with our family (two kids). The facilities were clean, everything was well organized, and the staff was very helpful. The food options were perfect for a quick lunch—although a bit pricey (€15 for adults, €10 for kids). Buying tickets online, including parking, was super easy. Even though the park was quite busy, it’s spacious enough that it never felt overcrowded. A small tip for visitors: check the swimwear rules in advance—I bought fitted swim shorts for my husband beforehand, and everything went smoothly. Overall, a wonderful day out. We’ll definitely be coming back! 👍🏻

We chose to be here on Thursday to skip the queue. It is good to read the information from the website before you arrive. The swimsuit has its own criteria: it should be tight-fitting for the man. Otherwise, you have to buy one from them. Some items, such as Rapido, are easy to get stuck in if you have loose-fitting swimming trunks. Most items require a minimum height of 120 cm. It is really cool for both kids and adults to ride Rapido and Waikiki. My son is 8 years old. I recommend that an 8-year-old child rides Waikiki with an adult.
Smallsmallholly — Google review
The staff are not very competent. My son is 120 cm tall (according to the doctor) and was given a blue wristband when he was measured at the aqualibi. However, at the end of the day (around 5 p.m.), another employee decided that his colleague had made a mistake and put a green wristband on my son. Not everyone knows how to use a measuring tape or has trouble reading numbers. Apart from that incident, it's fine.

On my second visit to Gangnam Restaurant, I once again enjoyed the pleasant ambiance. The BBQ offerings are truly delectable, and a friend raved about the delicious caramel sauce accompanying her Salmon dish. One suggestion I have for improvement is to serve the rice in larger bowls, even if customers have to pay extra for it. Personally, I could easily eat three servings of the small bowl provided. Overall, this Asian eatery offers some of the finest Korean cuisine in Belgium.
The food was delicious, service was great. We had chicken bibimbap and beef ramen. Quality of the food was excellent. Beef was done medium rare in the ramen. The rice in the bibimbap was crispy at the bottom, giving it a nice crunch. Worth a visit.

Went here after our Walibi trip with my fiancé for my birthday. I can definitely say it was one of the best Korean restaurant we’ve ever been. There are plenty of choices, including the more traditional ones. The food was delicious and the personnel were nice and welcoming. Only problem was we had to wait quite a while for each course.
Yohanna — Google review
We visits here several times for Korean BBQ as well as a la carte. To be honest, the taste of the food are quite great especially it’s situated in not a very big city. The price on the menu is a bit on expensive side and the portion of each dish is quite small. The best way to enjoy meal is to order several things and share with people on your table. The staffs are nice but the service is a bit slow which I’m not sure if they lack of the staffs or not. Because they are always full everytime we visit during the weekend.

Mixed Experience - Great Food, But Service Lacks Coordination Our visit to was a mixed bag. On one hand, the food was undeniably delicious, especially the BBQ dishes. The meat was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, earning top marks from our group. However, our dining experience was marred by subpar service. Despite reminding the waiter multiple times about our friend's lettuce order, it never made its way to our table. This oversight was disappointing and left us feeling overlooked. While the restaurant was bustling, it seemed that the staffing was insufficient to handle the demand. With just two waiters, the service was slow and lacked the attention to detail we expected.

Staff not aware of the available wine.. 25 min wait before beeing served of drinks It could be any kind of bbq, honestly korean, meditarean or lapons beside a bit of marinade it did taste much. So disappointing 😞

2nd time I eat here, always enjoyed the atmospher of the restaurant. The BBQ is really delicious, my friend told me that her Salmon is very tasty with caramel sauce. 1 suggestion: since this is an asian restaurant, maybe it'll be nicer if the rice is served in a bigger bowl even if we can ask for (paid) extra rice. Honestly I can eat 3x of that small bowl.
NH B — Google review
In one word : disappointing I had been here twice before, always quite happy although the price is high. This time : Staffing : one very unpleasant waitress, the other was pretty nice. Place: no airco, an inexistant ventilation, it was freaking hot. This is absolutely not pleasant when eating. Food: the taste is there but come on... what are these quantities. We almost did not have enough (we are not big eaters either) yet the prices were higher than before. Overall, we ate well but not enough and wanted to leave as soon as we arrived because of the heat and this very unpleasant waitress did not make it better. Putting a 3 for the sake of the two past times, although it could be a very small 2. Tips : take cash (no bancontact is allowed and the waitress makes it clear "this time is oke with payconiq but careful next time") Take a starter because the main is too small. Take some bibimpap, taste is great.
Laura D — Google review
Nice variety of dishes, but a bit more pricier than the other Korean restaurants in Brussels. Friendly service, but be aware that they don't take Bancontact and the credit cards are accepted above 25€ (not written anywhere)and there is no close distance ATM 🧐😉 Big private parking on the side. Will go back to try their BBQ.

The restaurant offers attentive service and a lively atmosphere with plenty of groups present. While the parking space can be cramped when busy, the place is perfect for those looking for a vibrant dining experience. Additionally, the area boasts other trendy addresses such as Happys, which features Vietnamese specialties at Asia Square and Tartineke offering organic tartines.

Our first restaurant in wavres. So I'm better stay factual:p.. nice place. You feel the warmth within the premises. Lots of fresh sea food. The place may seem small but there are lot of seats in the back. The service is good. Young and cheerful waiters. Can get busy when it's pack. don't hesitate to remind them. But they did make a small gesture for a friend of mine who had her birthday. Appreciate that. Smoking terraces are available . Free Parking are also available. Beware of the toilets; you need to get through tight stairs, not practical for elders or handicapped. Prices are average and above average. Which I'm discovering is the standard in the region ...

The park features original obstacles that are challenging yet not too difficult.
Great experience. Kids definitely love it. Adults too.

Very nice place but inflexible staff around the course. Pay attention that your taller kids get a coverall that allows them to do the red (and black) course. Staff selects who can do what course based on the colour accents on the overall. We had very disappointed kids during a birthday party who could only do some activities. ---- edited after receiving answer from owner below: Their reaction perfectly described the mismatch: they give an overall based on age of kid and not related to size of child. So you end up with large children in activities for kids that are much smaller than them. Would be better to use a height measuring to give access.
Sander S — Google review
What. A great experience. This park does an incredible job of providing entertaining adventure in actual trees for all ages. I was hesitant to schedule a visit with my 15-year old looking for adventure while we traveled through Europe as the top age was 10. However, there was plenty of variety and adventure for both him and me to enjoy a number of hours at the park. We had a great time, and were ever impressed at how well this facility was run. What a gem we found!
Stephen P — Google review
It's a very nice park with many fun climbing options for young and old. But it is very expensive. In France we went to a same type of adventure park and payed 1/3 of its price. It's even more expensive than an amusement park like Plopsa or Walibi!
Vicky G — Google review
Very kind staff. If you visit during Halloween period, you'll find a lot of decorations, the staff is dressed up and you might spot Frankenstein trying to scare young and old. If you love tree climbing, that's the place to be. The small bar/cafeteria has some basic fast food, I personally brought a picnic.
Hertha P — Google review
Save up a whole day for this, if you decide to do all the parcours. Some are very difficult and demanding but totally worth it!! I definitely recommend the tyro tour, that's basically zip lining for like 15min straight! Staff is super friendly and bilingual. This is also a good place for kids :) (people afraid of heights, beware!)
Anca G — Google review
I have only one word to say about this place.... Awesome! Its situated between trees, making it nice by summer and probably even a light rain will not ruin the fun. It has different courses for everyone starting from 4 years old I think. You can join the youngest but you can take further and climb higher. If you want to have some more adrenaline take the forest jump or some other jumps in place. I just can say that we had fun. Before the arrival I had some concerns about safety, but I understand that this the most important thing for the staff. Starting with clothes you get and helmet and gloves and of course the special ropes to be connected. If you are visiting Belgium with kids, this is the must place to be!

Restaurant
Located in Wavre, Belgium, Feuille et Couperet offers a delightful French cuisine experience. The restaurant is known for its delicious dishes such as slow-cooked Malines cuckoo white meat with parsnip mousseline and green asparagus variations with morel juice, as well as roasted Scottish scallops. Visitors have praised the quality of the ingredients and the fantastic dining experience at this establishment.
The food is amazing, service is nice, prompt and professional. A really good experience. Will go there again!
Sébastien T — Google review
We ate here based on the great review that we heard. The atmosphere is calm and pleasant. However, they try way to hard to be seen as a premium restaurant. As an example, the waiter starts a phrase, then stop and rephrases it in a more elaborated way. Or, the food has very fancy names but is quite simple. A good point is that the food is nicely presented. However, the price is equivalent to high rated restaurants, we paid 140€ for 2 without wine. This is acceptable if the food quality goes with it, but we weren't convinced. For example the steak had a strange "cow" taste (probably cooked at low temperature). All in one, we found it overpriced for the quality of the food, but with a nice setting and atmosphere.

Restaurant
Comptoir du Ry is a Thai restaurant located in 1300 Wavre, Brabant Wallon. The establishment offers a variety of Thai dishes such as Pet-pet (grilled duck with red coconut curry/pepper) and Tom yam khung (lemongrass shrimp soup). Visitors have praised the impeccable service and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is known for its delicious soup menu during lunchtime and accommodating service, including the option to split the bill.
Soup menu for lunch is so great here - worth queueing :-) Service is very friendly and they don't mind if you split the bill for each person to pay separately. They also take cheques repas here. Just make sure to book a table otherwise may not get in!

They were very rude, and apparently take out is not available despite being advertised. We were there on Tuesday evening at a time that was quoted as less busy than usual and were told to come back in two hours if we wanted take out.

This is the best Thai noodle place in this area. Thai noodle is only available from Mon to Wednesday. I hope they provide noodle menu everyday. This restaurant is clean and service is nice. I went there several times and the service and quality of food are always good.

I usually find the food very good here, but today the Pad Thai Kai was totally tasteless.. It tasted like plain noodles with plain chicken.. For 12,50 euros, that's quite disappointing. As I said, usually it's better so you should try for yourself and leave a comment.

Pizza Hut is a well-known chain that offers delivery, carry-out, and dine-in options. They are famous for their pizza, wings, pasta, sides, and desserts. Customers appreciate the friendly staff who accommodate preferences and provide excellent service. The restaurant offers a variety of pizzas to cater to different tastes, including Italian-style options with thin crusts. Visitors enjoy the cozy atmosphere and clean facilities while praising the young but efficient team members.
Relalu loved the place. It's among the few pizza hut which sells small pizzas, not only medium and large. The service crew knows the regular clients and engages in chit chat. They also accommodate preferences e.g. a table in a suitable corner for breastfeeding. There is attention to details, such as holding the door open to get out with the stroller.

I really don’t know what is wrong with the staff in this place. I wasn’t served at all! Even so the waiters (all three of them) saw me, they simply ignored me. After waiting 10 minutes to get any kind of menu or any other attention, I showed them at multiple occasions that I want something. They clearly saw me and just looked away. After directly asking if „one doesn’t get served here“, one waitress just looked at me in an ignorant way. It seems like they don’t want foreigners here! In this sense: Thanks for nothing!

Food and interior typical Pizza Hut, no suprises here. But, thumbs up for the team working there yesterday (26/8/2023). All of them were very young (all students?), but they added true value. Friendly, warm and helpful.

(Translated by Google) Impeccable welcome, with great simplicity and kindness. The dishes are good but unfortunately not exceptional, and there was a slight issue with the cooking. A lamb skewer requested rare arrived perfectly cooked, and a swordfish steak was also overcooked! I chose a Giouvetsi, which had a lot of pasta, 5 small pieces of meat, and 2 small pieces of carrot. I was expecting feta cheese, but it was topped with Gruyère cheese. That said, the dish was good, but this version of my Giouvetsi was too simplified for a restaurant-worthy establishment. Too bad... Dommage...

Go-karting venue
Car racing venue
Wavre Indoor Karting, located in Wavre, Belgium, gained popularity in the 1970s when it became a part of Walibi Belgium, an amusement park known for its innovative rides and water park. This go-kart track offers a fantastic karting experience for both kids and adults. It is considered the best go-karting facility in Belgium due to its well-balanced karts, excellent environment with no discrepancies.
Excellent service, lot of fun for my grandson, 10, explanations given in Dutch too as he is a Dutch speaker.
Stefan Z — Google review
Nice indoor karting, suitable for children and teens. They offer things to eat and drink as well. We were there for an anniversary. Perhaps water and fruit snacks are more suitable than sweets and water mixed with various syrups.
Bogdan T — Google review
Staff was extremely kind and helpful. Some attention needs to be paid when sessions are going on, there are a few wannabe Verstappens who keep ramming hard into people to get ahead, these characters need to be identified and measurable action should be taken against them.
Devleen S — Google review
The best Go Karting in Belgium as per my point of view. Well balanced karts, no discrepancies and great environment. Also, nice bar and restaurant BAB’s after you race. Cool stuff! 👏🏻
Jorge P — Google review
Great track, great karts, very good, friendly, and helpful Staff. Highly recommeded, we will be certainly back!
Xxx X — Google review
The layout is great and the staff very friendly. The karts are now electric, so much faster and more adapted to a short indoors track. There is still scope for improvement since the climb and the descents have more vibrations than desirable. Those parts need to be resurfaced to improve grip and reduce the risk of back pain and injuries. Its our preferred go to karting place in the Brussels area.
Carlos ( — Google review
Friendly staff, cozy lounge and amazing driving experience! It’s the place to go around Brussels if you want to drive e-karts. Sure it doesn’t smell like conventional karts running on petrol, but the electric ones are much more fun and nippy.

Food was mediocre at best, the meatballs were borderline raw, there was hair in cheese crockets, in certain sweets too. Overall the food was disgraceful, only the spaghetti was somewhat tasty. Good service and atmosphere wasted on mediocre food and poor hygiene.

Thais M — Google review
Just loved it. The variety of the food is great. Dessert was delicious. The place is spacious and didn't have any problem on Saturday lunch time. The only thing that has made me take one star is having to pay the toilets. That's just proposterous and greedy of Lunch Garden as a company. Yes, it's only 0.50 and yes, this gentleman guarantees a clean toilet and makes a life out of it. Nothing wrong with that. But what about Lunch Garden paying a proper salary to the gentleman or any other person as it should be and stop passing this cost to the customer. If you want to avoid people going to the Carrefour next door to go into the toilet, make compulsory to show a barcode on your ticket or so. Regrettably, it's not the only case in Belgium.

Very professional and friendly team! I organized my daughter's birthday party here, and Quentin provided all the information I needed, he is very kind and professional. The place is very secure for children and well-organized. We arrived 20 minutes early, and the room was already prepared. The team welcomed us and guided our guests in a very nice and professional manner. I didn't feel any stress, and the kids had a lot of fun. They consistently checked the room to keep it tidy. Totally recommended!

Our experience was good at this place. You can spend a few hours with the kids here but they get bored after +/-3h. There is nice area for kids until 3yo and after there is the castle for the bigger kids. There is also a jumping/ trampoline area. The place is not very big and parents are not allowed to enter the castle area. There are camera's, with a TV where you can locate your kids, but was not very helpful for me. Better to go around and check, but the place is quiet secure. I was with a 1yo, 3yo and 4yo. The food was not of good quality, but apparently during the year they offer more healthy options or sandwiches. And you can have a drink. All in all, a nice place to go for kids on rainy days if you are around.

Great place to organize a birthday party! My kids love it! The staff are wonderful and the price is reasonable. It’s always a smashing success at the Magic Castle.
Megan M — Google review
First time we went to this place and we were delighted!! We stayed here for about 6h and the kids clearly enjoyed themselves. None of the 3 kids asked even once when we would return home or saying they were bored. We all unanimously agreed we would definitely come back!! The (fast)food is basic but is correct and matches exactly what you would expect from a kids playground (it’s a playground and not a restaurant). But in comparison with other indoor playgrounds the price is very fair (income and food), you don’t have that “economic abuse or robbed” feeling you sometime get elsewhere. The playground is astonishing!! The theme is good, the structure is good, safety is good and it is fun. Lots of kids running, jumping and playing in all directions on it and we didn’t see the structure move a bit nowhere, no tired down cables or nets or cushions, no apparent steel bars, etc. For the adults, there is an area with chairs and tables and even an individual electric overhead heating system per table you can put on and off on desire for when you would be cold. As adults we really enjoyed the moment of a nice and comfy talk between adults while watching the kids play, without worrying about their safety. The staff is spot on, a huge hands-up to them!! 🙌 They’re wearing fluo orange/pink’ish baseball caps so you can spot them from everywhere and are extremely friendly and serving. They have one greeter, two people serving and one or two persons constantly walking around-and through the play-zone keeping an eye on the kids and materials. The place is also very clean. We stayed for about 6h, during which lots of parents and kids came along eating, drinking and playing and even with this we haven’t seen a single spilled food or drinks remaining on the tables or ground longer than 5min during our whole stay. The staff immediately comes and cleans. During our stay there, there was only one really minor incident (a kid got a bleeding nose because of an accidentally hit by another kid while jumping). Well, it was the staff who immediately noticed it, helped the kid out and brought her to her parents. The staff was very professional. We made a food and drinks order for 8 persons, and like always with kids, had to change the order twice while ordering because the kids suddenly changed minds… turns out that because of this, there was a miscalculation in the payed price. We had payed by card and ended up paying €5 too much without noticing. It was the staff who noticed it and came to our table to informed us of the miscalculation and excused themselves for the error. We were offered to get the €5 off the next order or to get them payed back. Like I said, we had not and would probably never have noticed this. So big shoutout for honesty.👍 So in a nutshell: Great and safe playground for the kids + great staff + fair price!!🙌 For us, the only “negative” point, is the number of toilets. Only 1 for males and 3 for females. But that really was the only small downside we found 🤷‍♂️ The kids and us really enjoyed our time here!! See you next time 😉

I came back to Belgium after a few years abroad and I had to eat a Primavera pizza from Peperoncino to see if it’s still delicious like in my memories. Verdict: yes it is, it is still delicious! You can make a reservation on the website and choose at which time you want to pick your meal. I arrived at 18:30 and indeed my pizzas were ready. In front of the restaurant you have a parking just next to the church. The boss and the staff are friendly and kind.

We went on a Friday night and the place was full. Very friendly staff, the pizzas were really good. The prices seemed a bit high compared to what we're used to paying for pizza, but with two people sharing a half liter of wine we still only spent 50 euros so that's alright.

That place is an absolute hidden gem! Staff is super friendly and lovely. The owner speaks French and Italian fluently and gives you an absolute authentic experience. The food is impeccable for a good price. Nothing but good words for this place!

Restaurant
Nestled in the charming town of Ottignies-Louvain-La-Neuve, La Baïta is a delightful Italian and French restaurant that promises an enjoyable dining experience. We stumbled upon this gem on a Wednesday evening while staying nearby, and were pleasantly surprised to find it welcoming us with open arms. Although it can get quite busy on weekends, we were among the first diners at 9 PM, which allowed us to soak in the tranquil ambiance.
We were staying in a nearby hotel and dropped in on the off chance on a Wednesday evening, having not booked anywhere to eat. We understand this place can get busy on a weekend and we feared we would be turned away. As it happens, the reverse was the case and we were the first to arrive at 9pm. Two other groups arrived not long after, which was a relief. We went for the 50 euro degustacion menu and we were very pleased with the presentation and the quality. Accompanied by a reasonably priced Txakoli this was a lovely meal. The two members of staff were friendly and attentive but were happy for us to take our time. Everything here, from the chairs to the decoration says the owners really care about the dining experience. That said, it is the food that really stands out. This place is a little off the beaten track for many visitors and is located in a quiet part of town not far from the Guggenheim. It's worth the trip and we would happily eat here any time.

Very pleasant environment and the quality of the menu was very good, with ample portions. Bottom line is also reasonably priced. Service was charming but a little overstretched. Parking is adequate, but if it is raining take an umbrella as you may need to walk 100m or so. Recommended.

Very bad service. People who work there are very rude and arrogant. I didn't like the vibes there and I don't recommend this place. (Especially the short mad looking woman with her curly messy hair.)

Although the food was excellent, the service was awful due to the little angry bold man . Instead of apologizing they got confused with the order and tried to charge us for a drink they spilled at one of our guests.

However, once you delve into the menu, you'll discover a range of classic dishes executed to perfection. (Translated by Google) After a day in Walibi, our small group wanted a slightly more cozy evening. So we made reservations for our small group. The room is very nicely decorated, with great taste and sobriety. It's very nice ! The welcome was not exactly the warmest. We waited a while before someone spoke to us. The person understood that we wanted to be placed outside even though we had requested inside due to pollen allergies (the terrace overlooks a fairly green area. And a view of Walibi). Anyway, it was quickly arranged and our tables were prepared inside. Please note, the room is NOT air-conditioned. It's absolutely dying there when the outside thermometer rises. After a good aperitif, which we all enjoyed, we enjoyed our starters. I chose 1 cheese fondue. She was absolutely divine. We taste that they are homemade. They taste like cheese and the portion is generous. As someone who loves cheese croquettes, I was delighted. Then I chose a simple ham and cheese spaghetti. Very good surprise. Not only is the portion generous but this pasta is to die for! I don't know what type of ham is used but it is delicious! Very tasty! The cheese sauce is also very tasty, well seasoned and perfectly seasoned. It's a simple dish but it's not always successful. It was a real treat here! The toilets are accessible to PRMs! Which is a big plus! But when I went there when I arrived (it must have been 6:15 p.m.), one of the toilets was dirty and unpapered. However, it was a good evening, despite the oppressive heat in the room. The meal was really good, although I found the bill a little steep. I put this down to the quality products used.

(Translated by Google) The place is very pleasant and has a magnificent terrace and a huge parking lot, but that's not enough to make the food taste good. There are already dishes missing from the menu. The scampi alla diavola was swimming in a concentrated tomato sauce and absolutely not spicy. The smoked salmon plate was decent, but you don't have to be a great cook to open a package of salmon and arrange it on a plate with a quarter of a lemon. The Italian-style tartare was bland, flavorless, without pine nuts, without sundried tomatoes, without Parmesan... and a dark color. The salad was minimalist and unseasoned. The filet mignon wasn't tender, and the béarnaise sauce was in a jar and not even reheated. On the other hand, the fries were delicious!! All three of us were very, very disappointed! So we limited the damage: no desserts! When we shared our comments with the server, there was no questioning, just the response that it was the first time we had said something to him, but when I look at the opinions of some customers this is not accurate.

Italian restaurant
Eat it Pizzeria in Wavre has garnered a loyal following due to its consistently satisfying food and friendly service. The restaurant offers a variety of Italian pizzas and pastas made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. While the prices are reasonable for the main dishes, some patrons found the desserts to be on the pricier side. The ambiance inside is pleasant, with attentive and amiable waitstaff. Additionally, there is parking available for patrons.
We were looking for a place to eat while traveling and decided to try this restaurant. The experience was fantastic! The atmosphere was very cozy, the food was superb, and the service was amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We ordered the Gnocchi Carbonara and Puglia Pizza, both of which were delicious and served in generous portions. I highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again if we're ever in the area.

I absolutely do not recommend this place. We came here for lunch. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy, but they never brought us the menus, so I had to go get them myself. We ordered a Parmigiana pizza and another dish. We waited quite a while for the food, and when it finally arrived, it was a completely different kind of pizza. I told the waiter it wasn’t what I had ordered. When he went to tell the kitchen about the mistake, we could hear a loud crash of kitchen tools being slammed down. After a while, the Parmigiana pizza came, and I was shocked. There were just a few thin slices of zucchini on top. A Parmigiana must have eggplant on it. Yet when the waiter brought this pizza, he said nothing to us. I wondered if perhaps in this restaurant “Parmigiana pizza” meant zucchini instead of eggplant, but when I checked the menu, it clearly listed “eggplant” as an ingredient. To not only mess up the order but then try to cover it up by swapping ingredients is astonishing. I am appalled that they would dare to pull such a stunt. There was no apology—instead, they got defensive and, as if to spite us, deliberately substituted the topping. The steak was tough, and the side of pasta was far too soft. The only thing done right was the cooking level of the meat. This is the worst restaurant ever. It is nothing short of a scam.

Nestled in the heart of Wavre, the Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste is a stunning testament to history and resilience. Originally mentioned in the 12th century, this church faced devastation from a fire in 1489 that claimed many lives. What a waste, what a lack of respect, especially since the address had been recommended to us by a regular. And the owner's response is more than original: "You were aware that there was a concert in the evening..." Yes, but you had told the person who had booked that this was no problem...oh so obviously. Indeed, one (1) person ordered a dish because they were starving. The rest of the table (6) never imagined eating their meal in a hurry to get to the Sucrerie on time (on foot). We had come to your place to enjoy a good time together, not to have to hurry due to lack of diligence on your part.

(Translated by Google) Very pleasant setting, very kind manager (the boss's wife), a quiet place in a warm atmosphere. We will return with friends and family. Reasonable prices and an “Orange” wine to discover for the most curious. (Translated by Google) Being from Wavre, I went to this establishment with my 2.5-year-old daughter, who was learning to be potty-trained with a bit of an emergency. I kindly asked for access to the toilet in this wine bar, which was refused. The attitude was very unbusinesslike and unfriendly towards the customers of his store. I understand all the more why customers are scarce with such a welcome. We won't be back.

I recommend 100% 🙂 If you're looking for a casual, friendly and really cheap wine bar, this is the place 😄🍷🧀 (Original) Ambiance au top, plateau dégustation au top, vin au top et service encore mieux !

The food was amazingly good and the service staff were incredibly friendly. Definitely, one of the best restaurant experiences in the Benelux up until now. I will definitely come back!

We got a recommendation for this place for being a Belgian restaurant, but in practice I would say it’s a broader restaurant, that also has some Spanish touches (we got gazpacho as an appetizer). The food was good, and not too pricey!
