Amazing place. Our little one loved the pony rides so much we went back multiple times - shout out to the staff who run the pony rides, they are so welcoming and friendly. We also loved that our 4 yr old could do the zip wires - lots of great courses to do. A great place to go with all ages and really reasonable. Lovely setting too.

We were staying in the campsite next door so didn’t need to queue / park etc. An amazing place, fully recommend. Our children are 11 and 13 years old. We loved the waterpark, its massive and easily absorbs all the people. We really enjoyed the treetop / high wire adventures (accrobranche) too - plenty of difficulty levels to suit the whole family. Price was reasonable too, we used the multipack purchase.
Hunter H — Google review
It's been one of the best places to come to for the last 12+ years, today has been busiest we have ever seen it, but the flow continues with short waits on the training routes… staff all round running and helping all the while smiling , really amazing place, the kids love it… so proud of how this place has grown
Rob V — Google review
Very impressed. Free parking with overflows also. Buy in advance to avoud queue at the reception. We did treetop parkour and water inflatables. The parkour has such range, from small kids a meter or so up to very difficult for 15yrs plus maybe. Probably 20 or so different routes for all abilities and confidence. Good numbers of staff to address problems as they happened, and plenty of zip lines across the lakes. The routes can take a while, Red 5 was 50 minutes for us - we did 3 routes in almost 3 hours at senior levels. Didn't try Juniors. The water park was huge and challenging but soon got my sea legs and was jumping, wobbling and sliding as appropriate. Hour was enough for me and glad of the deal for 2 activities. Best of all, not fighting off insects all day and by its nature, a bit shady most of the day. May go back again on this holiday.

France’s hidden gem! An incredible day out which was so good we went twice. Unlimited aerial courses for all ages and abilities. Our 2 boys of 10 & 14 loved it. Each of the colours with a good increase in difficulty. The Red course was a great test for this fairly out of shape 44 year old 😁. So many other activities available too. The ‘Escape Room’ was great fun too. I’d give it 7 stars if I could.

Nice park. A lot to do. Safety first. Everything is clean. Nice park to climb.
Tanja P — Google review
We visited today - two adults, an 11 and a 9 year old - and selected the acquapark followed by the climbing course. It was a hot day and the park was busy. According, I was prepared for long wait times and grumpy staff and customers. I needn’t have worried - the staff were all impeccably polite, competent and helpful - a real credit to the espirit de corps of the team at the park. Bravo. The only downside was that we only scratched the surface of the climbing options. We’ll have to return to continue the experience. Thoroughly enjoyable. 👏👏
Sam S — Google review
Absolutely amazing, highly recommended. Excellent value for money can spend the whole day here. So much to do children aged 8,10,13 and 15 loved it as did the adults!

(Translated by Google) We discovered this leisure center through advertising in the VVF where we spend our holidays, ten minutes away. One of the facilitators came specially to present it to us during the holidaymakers' welcome day. The site is located in a forest around a central body of water. There is the possibility of practicing several activities, the main one being tree climbing. For this activity, you pay according to your age group, regardless of the time you spend there. An adult pays €21. Other activities are paintball, searching for treasure by geolocation with a tablet, disc golf, pony riding, laser game.... and others. For these activities, you have to pay a fixed price. The golf tax costs €6 per person. Paintball is more expensive. The treetop adventure courses are numerous and progressive. You can start at 2 years old. There are family courses, others more sporty. The zip lines are numerous and also progressive. The staff is very numerous and helpful to come and help you in an emergency if necessary. I was therefore able to do treetop adventure courses while other members of my family were able to play a game of disc golf in the same shaded forest.

Camping Paradis La Bretonnière is a delightful campground nestled in the picturesque region of Pays de la Loire, specifically in Saint-Julien-des-Landes. Just a short 2 km from the stunning Atlantic Coast beaches, this site offers an array of accommodations including spacious pitches and well-equipped mobile homes, making it ideal for family getaways. Guests can enjoy fantastic amenities such as two inviting pools, a tennis court, and even a trampoline to keep everyone entertained.
Spent over a week at this campsite the pitches are very spacious and flat. The staff are so lovely, really friendly and helpful. There are 2 pools, tennis court, trampoline, table tennis, kids club, bar, restaurant and on sight entertainment every evening. Fresh bread available daily in the mornings and some provisions at the office. The restaurant food was lovely and very reasonably priced. There are lots of toilets and showers dotted all around the campsite. We had our own tent and motorhome so can't comment on the rental accommodation but there are a variety of options. This was definitely our favourite site of our 3 week holiday it has a warm, relaxing feel that others lack we didnt want to leave but sadly needto make our way home. 100% recommend 🌟

We had two wonderful weeks at Camping Bretonnière! This was our second time visiting, and once again, it was an enjoyable stay. The friendliness of the owners and staff certainly contributed to our positive experience. They were always helpful and nothing was too much trouble. A big thank you to Aline and Régis for their hospitality, and hopefully, we’ll return again in the future!

Really nice camping with friendly and helpful staff. The bread is good and fresh every day. The pools are not too big, but clean and partly covered so you don't get much sun burn. There is a nice fishing pond with a fence around it so it's safe for the children. The closest decent supermarket is a 12 minute drive away.
Tjeerd H — Google review
Dissapointed, booked through external Camping/Caravan website. We were given a very poor pitch on arrival with little grass and large trees covering the whole pitch. Car/Caravan/Awning/Gazebo all covered with sap/resin from trees (now need a completley clean on retur). There were many other pitches we could have been given and apart from one weekend of our two week holiday we were left in a dark corner of the site. Plenty of showers in new Sanitary block but only three toilets. Charge for Wifi but signal weak by trees blocking signal. Site generally looks untidy, hedges and trees all need trimming to make the site have more enjoyable. Pool area was cluttered with loungers and covered pool was unhealthly hot. We will not return or recommend

A wonderful stay!. A wonderful peaceful stay at La Bretonniere. The campsite is very well maintained and kept clean. The toilet and shower facilities were cleaned to a high standard every day. The site was very quiet after 11pm, and we felt comfortable letting our children explore the site on their own. Excellent!

The second time we have visited this restaurant whilst staying in this part of the Vendée and it's rapidly becoming a favourite. The food is exceptionally good and the staff very welcoming and friendly. The moules here are certainly the best we had during this recent trip and the frites are amazing. We had the Café Gourmand for dessert and this too was the best of the whole trip. Cannot fault this as a restaurant to visit, everything is good and we will definitely go again next time we visit the Vendée.

With its focus on fresh ingredients and quality cuisine, this restaurant offers an impressive menu that caters to all tastes—from innovative starters like avocado cheesecake to mouthwatering desserts. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it perfect for families; even children are welcomed with open arms. Guests have praised the efficient service and beautiful table settings within the striking building.
Loved this restaurant. I went with my husband and 2 children and the food was amazing. The menu is small and dishes made to perfection. Prices are super reasonable too. Staff were lovely. Highly recommend.
Lydia A — Google review
Our visit marked the last night of our holiday at a nearby campsite; 6 adults and 7 children. They welcomed us all warmly, even the giddy children, and were very patient while I persevered in French. The building is very striking and the tables are set beautifully. We didn't know what to expect given the short time it had been open and the lack of reviews, but the food was exceptional. My starter (Avocado cheesecake) was like nothing I have ever had before (in a good way!), and the main beef with dauphinoise potatoes was perfect. The menu d'enfant is also excellent; traditionally French whilst appealing to children (ours aged from 2 to 8) and everything was polished off. We had two excellent bottles of wine and left very happy. Don't be put off by the odd, incongruent sign which makes it look slightly like an road-side diner (it is slightly let down by this); this place is well worth a drive. When we return to the campsite we will definitely return here.
