Shopping mall
Shopping
Regent Mall, a neighborhood shopping destination since 1976, offers over 150 stores including brand-name retailers, a food court, multiplex, and kids' play area. It is the leading shopping spot in the Greater Fredericton Region and features an amusement park, waterpark, ice rink, eateries, and movie theater. Despite its smaller size compared to larger malls, it provides a good mix of shops and dining options while offering convenient amenities.
⭐ Regent Mall – A Welcoming Shopping Hub in Fredericton Location & Size: Nestled in Fredericton, Regent Mall is one of New Brunswick’s largest enclosed shopping centres, offering nearly 480,000 sq ft of retail space and about 100 stores and services. With ample parking (~2,700 stalls) and accessible transit via Fredericton Transit, visiting is convenient. ⸻ 🛍️ Shopping Experience: • Varied Retail Mix: The mall features a range of anchor tenants and local shops—though some third-party reviews note vacancies remain. • Well-Maintained Interiors: Visitors frequently praise its clean, well-lit corridors and modern feel. • Size Advantage: Not overly large, yet comprehensive—shoppers say Regent Mall has “almost everything I could think of needing.” ⸻ 🍽️ Amenities & Extras: • Food Court: A compact food court provides quick bites, although locals joke that choices are modest. • Entertainment Options: The mall houses a movie theatre (Cineplex), arcade, and big-store staples like Walmart and Toys R Us. • Indoor Walking Route: On rainy or cold days, the corridors are often used as a walking circuit by customers. ⸻ 👍 Strengths: • Clean & Bright Atmosphere: The refreshed layout and lighting make for a pleasant shopping environment. • Good Balance of Stores: Although medium in size, it strikes a nice balance between variety and ease of navigation. • Convenience Central: Accessible via public transit and generous parking make it ideal for locals and visitors alike. ⸻ 👎 Areas for Improvement: • Vacant Retail Spaces: Some parts of the mall reflect empty storefronts, which can detract from variety. • Mixed Feedback on Walmart: Several shoppers have flagged poor service at the Walmart location. • Food Options Are Limited: The food court is practical, though not packed with diverse culinary choices. ⸻ 🧾 Final Verdict: Regent Mall is a well-kept, moderately sized shopping centre that serves Fredericton shoppers efficiently. It’s especially good on bad-weather days, when its indoor layout becomes a walking-friendly destination. While there’s room to grow in terms of store occupancy and retail variety, the clean environment, accessible design, and solid mix of shops and entertainment make it a worthwhile visit. Whether you’re shopping, catching a movie, or just strolling indoors, Regent Mall offers a community-friendly experience with plenty of potential.

Very nice, clean mall. Many popular shops...Roots, Dollarama, at least 4 jewelry stores, many specialty food options (Laura Secord for example) and a nice variety in the food court. Walmart is attached with a grocery section.
Kendra W — Google review
Great mall with good food court options. Plenty of stores for shoes, clothing and apparel yet still small enough to peruse your way through in a couple hours.
Bobbie-Jo F — Google review
Nice and big mall. A lot of different store and clean.
Indra U — Google review
Everyone was very friendly, as a tourist it was easy to find my way around. The only thing was I wish there was more seating, but the rest beats the small negative! So glad & I can't wait to go back!
Meagan M — Google review
Lovely mall with franchise stores. Great place for trendy clothing, jewellery, and gift ideas. Chapters book store here.
Lisa C — Google review
Nice mall, nice atmosphere. Some good store options. On a less positive note an excessive amount of jewellery stores for some reason. More clothing options might be a good idea.
Jesse K — Google review
It's a mall, idk really what else there is to say, served my friends and I's hangouts well in high school and great for gift shopping. Only complaint is its always weirdly warm and I'm melting everytime I go in.

Value Village is a fantastic thrift store chain that specializes in secondhand clothing, footwear, furniture, books, and various household items. Located at 371 Bishop Dr, this impressive shop boasts an extensive collection of preloved treasures while promoting community engagement and recycling efforts. Shoppers often leave with delightful finds and memorable experiences—like one visitor who received exceptional assistance from the friendly associate Sasha while searching for a holiday dress.
5-star experience. Highly recommended. We bought winter clothes and boots. Saved at least 100 dollars. The jacket in the pic$14, smaller boot $16.5, tbe larger boot around$20.

Value Village is my go-to spot for all thrifters and budget-savvy pros who like finding fashionable thread in love their financial life staying unraveled . 🛍️✨ Whether you're looking for a statement piece or just some cute vintage finds, this place has it all. It's like a treasure hunt every time I go there! 💎💸 Plus, the prices are just too good to pass up. 😍 If you haven't checked it out yet, you're missing out on a whole new world of style. #ThriftLife #Fashionista #BudgetFriendly #ValueVillage #

If you like overpaying for well worn clothes and feeling smothered at the self-checkout, this is the place for you! Thrift shopping used to be where you went to get a bargain. Most thrift stores still follow that, but Value Village seemingly has not gotten the memo. They sell things above what you’d pay in store. Sometimes the original price tag is still attached and the Value Village price is higher. As for the self-checkout, it’s enough for even the sanest person to lose their mind. Rather than opening a regular checkout so the employees standing around have something to do, they only have maybe two of four self checkouts open while the employees breathe down your neck while you scan your items. If I wanted help, I’d ask. It’s highly uncomfortable. The high prices and hovering cashiers make every experience unpleasant. I’ll stick to locally owned stores instead!
Makayla P — Google review
Donate and shop at Seed the Need, Greener Village, Hospice Boutique, Habitat for Humanity ReStore, or Changing Hands, before even considering engaging with Value Village. This is an American based company that extracts wealth from our community. They have hired security to frighten shoppers against stealing the items that the company receives for free. The only exit is through a tightly controlled single file line, so you will look like a thief if you wish to leave without making a purchase. The prices are unconscionable. The store is crowded and filthy. You can find better items at lower prices at stores that support the community.
Sam M — Google review
Never have cashier's, one person watching 1 self check out. Lights left on to show other self check outs are open yet they are not. When you ask the associate, they tell you that "I'm not allowed to turn it off". Only thing I like about the place is if you are lucky, you can find items that people donate that the companies/stores that once sold the product no longer carry. The down side they price gouge for things they know people collect regardless of how damaged or missing pieces the product has. I don't shop here often for more than just these reasons, but when I do I almost always leave empty handed as the prices are just too steep for very well used items.
Kristine D — Google review
Not as good as it once was. Prices are getting very high! Especially considering items here are donated. Bought "name brand" boots that looked new. Charged me 29.99.. I wore them once and they fell apart because they were dry rotted. Now if I paid $10 it wouldn't have been bad.
Darren G — Google review
This just happened 5 mins ago but was at the store with my girlfriend and the kids. We were paying seperately and she asked one of the employees if one of the tills there was available for me, but the employee (Raelyn) just mumbled something and ignored her. Then the employee asked if anyone in line had a card. I was next in line and said I do and she just says "I'm not talking to you" in a rude tone and grabbed someone behind me to go first. I put my stuff down and just left. Will never donate to this value village again or shop there. Will donate and shop elsewhere.
Jared — Google review
Decent thrift store but some of the prices for used and donated things is crazy, why am I paying $20 for a used dress when it's cheaper to get it brand new??

Parks
Nestled just a short stroll from the bustling city center, Odell Park is a stunning natural oasis that beckons visitors year-round. Spanning an impressive 333 acres, this park features ancient trees—some over 400 years old—and offers a plethora of activities for everyone. In the warmer months, you can enjoy picnicking in designated areas, playing disc golf, or exploring the scenic Fredericton Botanic Garden and its extensive network of walking and biking trails.
I recently visited this park, and while it was a bit hard to fully appreciate its beauty during the winter with all the snow, I can tell it has great potential. The park has lush greenery and walking paths, which I imagine are even more stunning during the warmer months. It’s also a very pet-friendly space with ample room for dogs to run around. The park is clearly inviting and well-kept, making it a great spot to relax or enjoy some time outdoors. I look forward to visiting again in the summer to see it in full bloom!

Jaskarn B — Google review
Tucked right in the heart of the city, this local park is a true hidden gem for nature lovers and families alike. With its scenic uphill trails leading into a peaceful forest, it’s hard to believe you’re still within city limits. The park offers something for everyone — from a small playground and pond for kids, to pet-friendly walking paths and a disc golf course for those looking for a bit more activity. There’s plenty of parking, clean bathrooms, BBQ grill stands and even a charming lodge that can be rented for gatherings, parties, or weddings — a perfect backdrop with its natural beauty and rustic feel. In the winter, the park transforms into a great spot for cross-country skiing, while summer brings mountain biking trails and easy walking routes ideal for a lunch break escape. The open field is great for frisbee, soccer, or simply laying out a picnic blanket and enjoying the sunshine. Come fall, the forest comes alive with vibrant colours, making it an excellent spot for family portraits or a peaceful stroll among the leaves. Open year-round and available for event bookings like skiing tournaments and biking lessons, this park truly offers four seasons of recreation and relaxation. Whether you’re there for an active adventure or a quiet moment in nature, it’s one of those rare places that feels both lively and serene at the same time.

Nothing beats being in the nature, especially when living in the city. Was 1st time visiting this park as from out of the city and will for sure return as many more trails to be discovered. Really enjoyed the visit, even though it was a short one, can't wait to go back.

Wilmot Park is a vast grassy area that offers various activities such as walking trails, lawn bowling, sport courts, and a splash pad. It is an excellent destination for families with young children who can enjoy the jungle gym equipped playground equipment and the refreshing splash pad. The park has plenty of shady trees where visitors can relax and have picnics. On busy days parking may be problematic, but there is an option to park across the street on the exhibition grounds with a short walk.
Wilmont Park is my go to park. It has brought me many days of calming peace. To walk around the trails and see people having picnics or playing tennis or basketball and the laughter of children enjoying the park is so soothing for the soul. Don't forget to check out the rich history that all the trails lead you in the middle of the park!!!

The Fredericton Boyce Farmers Market is a beloved Saturday morning tradition in the city, drawing locals and tourists alike to its bustling atmosphere. With over 200 local suppliers offering a wide array of products, visitors can explore everything from fresh produce and meats to homemade jams, artisan chocolates, and specialty coffees. The market also features ethnic delicacies like Chinese buns and Lebanese stuffed grape leaves.
Some places accept credit or e transfer but a majority will usually take cash. A majority of food will be $3+ with pastries usually around the $5+ mark. You'll find some crazy food and trinkets here such as an oreo pizza slice, mushroom and brie croissant, caramel pecan cinnamon roll, etc. If you're from the westcoast, they have a donair sandwich to try which is only seen on the eastcoast (same with garlic fingers). I adore this farmers market. I make sure to visit every time I’m in the area. Truly such a great place and vibe. So many vendors of all varieties and truly kind people throughout.
Nyah C — Google review
A solid place to spend a Saturday morning. It’s busy, but that’s part of the appeal—lots of local vendors, fresh produce, baked goods and handmade items. Best to go early—things do sell out and it gets crowded quickly. A true Fredericton staple.
Dr. D — Google review
7am market opens. 7am parking only 3 blocks away. Understand that farmers may need to park close to refill stock, but no need for trucks with empty trailers taking Prime parking away from potential shoppers. Called the market got the ole fashion customer service "I'm so sorry but vendors have to park there. Nothing I can do." I worked in a different farmers market for our family farm. Every vender taking up a prime parking spot or two hurts the whole market. Expect hard to find parking by 10am easy but at 7am should be in and out like a bunny. I won't be giving this market another chance.
Jason S — Google review
I really love going to this market, it’s a staple of Saturday’s mornings/before noon! They have everything from farm produce to actual pizza made in a fire oven and more! It’s the best market so far in my life and was the first! Fredericton was my place when I was a toddler because of some stuff happened in my life and now as an adult, I still love going to Fredericton because of its proximity for stores and restaurants! The inside may need some renovations like Led lights and the parking lots is always full there on Saturdays! I recommend this place! ☺️

It's not big, but it has enormous charm. I first went here as a child for a Susan Aglukark concert way back in the 90s. My family left in '01 and now I've returned in 2019. My first event there would be the Chinese New Year Gala as I had returned to Fredericton after being in China. The venue is not big, but it's design and style are timeless. I look forward to going to many more events here and adding these new tales to the memories I have from years ago.

The Joyce Pub, located in the Crowne Plaza Fredericton Lord Beaverbrook, is a popular spot offering the largest selection of New Brunswick craft beers and ciders. The pub provides comfortable indoor and outdoor seating along with great food options. The staff is known for their helpfulness in guiding patrons through the extensive beer selection. Additionally, visitors can enjoy scenic river views from the outdoor patio while indulging in Irish pub fare.
The Joyce has become one of our new favorites, they have treated us the very best since day one. Polite, fun to chat with, attentive, and experienced staff. Their menu offers Classics like burgers and sandwisches (that are truly amazing portions and Devine) and they have great appetizers. Drink selection is quite large too. Currently our go too are the Joyce salade with feta, club sandwich, the fish and chip, the nachos, the steak sandwich, and the Nashville chicken burger.

Nice little pub. Came for dessert and some drinks. Bannofi pudding was great. Loved the chair they were super comfy. However the tables were sticky from whoever was there before, otherwise I'd bump the review to a 4.

The food was clearly home-cooked and tasted very fresh. The garlic fingers were fantastic - candied bacon on top was a nice touch that differentiated it from a standard garlic finger. The tuna banh mi was tender and refreshing, the soup of the day clearly homemade. overall very flavourful. unfortunately, the service was on the slower side when we went, but I would still return because the quality was that good.

Big wingback chairs make for a relaxed, comfortable experience, and the food is well prepared and tasty. The short rib penne is new to the menu and I was a little skeptical about sour cream in pasta, but it works. The charcuterie board was well portioned and had a wide variety of options. The smoked salmon was lovely - not oily or excessively “fishy”. And desserts have been hit or miss here in the past, but they killed it with the deep fried cheesecake.

I was staying at the Crowne Plaza and decided to try The Joyce for dinner to avoid the wet weather and let me say I wish I had one sooner! I tried the special which was a sloppy joe which was quite good ( though a bit much arugula) and I got the daily soup with it which was a beef stew and it was the best stew I have ever had with more meat than I have ever had in a stew! The service was great and the prices were fair. Would happily reccomend it to anyone downtown Fredericton.

Beautiful vegan cafe with incredible local art for sale, hung up on the cafe walls for purchase. What a gem of a restaurant. I should have come here sooner. I've been living nearby for over two years now and have never gone in because of two main reasons. 1, there are many restaurants in the area, I'm still making the rounds. 2, like many meat eaters, vegan isn't my go-to. It's not that I don't like it, it's like jazz. I never hate it when it's around, but I'll never go to it on my own. Not going here was a mistake! It's very well designed and the staff are supremely friendly, but the food is of course the gem here. I never would have guessed the food here could pack such incredible and diverse flavours into their dishes. From the vegan burger to the walnut stew and the baklava, everything had us clamoring for more.

Pretty incredible. Food was excellent and traditional from my perspectIve of eating at authentic middle eastern restaurants. The vegan twists to the dishes were excellent. Tons of flavour and I suspect meat eaters would do well here too with the shawarma. Update: My family has come here 3 years in a row as we road trip through Atlantic Canada. It is never a disappointment and seems to get better. Below is the shawarma wrap, the rice and green beans, and the tofu plate. Super delicious, as always. This family run business includes very warm and inviting service. Pleasant people.

Its a small place but the food is so flavourful. Being a vegetarian in an unknown place can be exciting but challenging. Luckily i found a good option at this cafe. The dessert was great too. I could also meet the chef and have a conversation. The cafe also displays paintings by local artists which gives it a great ambiance. It is very centrally located on King Street so it is very easily accessible on foot or by bus.

Cozy cafe in Fredericton, offering amazing vegan menu. Ambience was beautiful and food was so comforting. Very kind people running this place. Sharing some photos from the visit. Would definitely recommend. #support local

My husband and I visited a few weeks ago and were pleasantly surprised by this charming little cafe. We tried the stuffed grape leaves appetizer and absolutely loved it! We loved their salad dressing so much that we bought two jars to bring home. Their baklava was also fresh and delicious. And the lady who served us was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back to try out more menu items.

Chinese restaurant
A Bite of Beijing is a Chinese fast food spot in Canada that offers authentic, healthy, and nutritious dishes made with local ingredients. Visitors have raved about the perfect temperature and well-seasoned food, friendly service, and inviting atmosphere. Some recommend trying the Kung bao chicken while avoiding the fried noodles if you're not into certain spices. The restaurant is known for its authentic flavors and generous portions of meat and extras in their dishes.
I am from Saint John, and it's been a year that I have been craving braised beef noodles, and then I find this authentic Chinese restaurant in the town of Fredericton. The meals are cheaper, and the appetizers are very yummy. My new favourite Chinese resto!
Reginald C — Google review
Don not waste your money! need to pay first. the beef noodle taste pretty weird, noodles are soggy and definitely not hand maded. Just 3 slice beef. Spicy noodle has a very very small portion and super salty, taste like super salty instant noodle. Not Recommended.
Fraser — Google review
1.me and my friend wait for the order for 40mins 2.the noodles we ordered are extremely sour 3.the boba we ordered tasted really bad. The milk tasted weird and the boba inside are hard. Definitely won’t go there again. The hygiene there looks bad too. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This place scammed me! I ordered four items via DoorDash and only two items showed up. The receipt attached to my bag only had two items on it. It's so bizarre. I'm confused as to how I can order four items and receive a receipt that only has two items. I even double checked my DoorDash history to make sure I actually ordered four things. So what, they only send out partial orders and keep the money? Seems fishy to me. The food that showed up wasn't even good, seemed old and dried out. They had a deal, buy three custard buns, get one free, and it's clear it's just to get rid of old stock-- three buns looked fine and one was all dry and shriveled. Will not be ordering here again, or recommending this place. Very confused and disappointed

We went for lunch the other day and found the food to be very good. New and innovative way to bring good food together. Spring Rolls were fried perfectly, and if I had to make one recommendation.... that would be in reference to the BBQ Pork Bun. Less dough more filling 😋

I have been here a few times and I am very impressed with freshness, quality and taste of the meals and the customer service is always super. The menu has a variety of items that are different from the usual Chinese restaurants and their specialty is the Chinese crepes, and these are made fresh right in front of you.

Restaurant
Montana's BBQ & Bar continues to impress as a reliable chain restaurant option. Despite not having visited in years due to international living, the reviewer noted that portion sizes had slightly changed while still maintaining the fantastic flavors and incredibly tender ribs. The chipotle honey sauce struck a perfect balance between sweetness and spiciness. With reasonable prices and generous portions, Montana's remains an ideal choice for a family dinner. The friendly and helpful server, Grace, enhanced the overall dining experience during the birthday celebration.
I am fortunate to travel frequently for work, and this hotel remains one of the places I truly value. It is very well maintained, with extremely helpful staff. The rooms are thoughtfully arranged and impeccably clean. Breakfast is convenient and offers a good variety for a hotel. In addition, the property features a well-designed indoor pool with slides, making it an excellent choice for families. From a business perspective, the location is close to shops and within easy reach of restaurants

Giving a rating of 3. The food was very good, the beer was incredible. As I walked in the place was empty but was told I had to wait to be seated, however they let me take a great table quickly. The waitress came 2 times which was perfect. I still had almost a full glass of beer and she asked me to pay. I said I was still relaxing. Then I went to pay at the desk and the manager and a big guy were waiting for me. Did I do something wrong? I was there a total of 30 minutes. I didn't think I was imposing on business. There were 7 tables open just to my right. I left feeling threatened as the manager was standing next to me. Not cool

We ordered a few dishes and everything was fresh, tasty, and nicely presented. we oreded the crispy rolls filled with cheese, veggies, and spices were delicious, crunchy on the outside and soft inside, served with a flavorful dipping sauce that added a perfect touch. The baked potato was warm, cheesy, and topped with green onions, paired with creamy sour cream and flavorful baked beans on the side. it's simple but very comforting and of course, the fries were golden and crispy, seasoned just right the kids loved them! Overall, the food was well-cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully served. Perfect spot for a family meal where even kids can enjoy drawing and having fun while waiting for food.

I don’t typically leave reviews, but after my experience last Friday I felt I needed to share! The entire visit was incredible — from the cleanliness of the location to the quality of the food. But the standout was our host, Blair. She truly made the experience so enjoyable. It’s clear she loves what she does! We will definitely be back!

My new favourite place! Our food was fantastic and this place has the best spinach dip I’ve ever tasted, so well seasoned. The best part of our experience was our server Hunter! Besides being fast and efficient, he had such a friendly demeanour that made our dining experience that much more amazing. Will definitely be coming back here soon.

As always...I have had good experience dining in with my family at special occasions. My kids enjoy the kids meal deal. Blair has helped and served at our table. She did a wonderful job and ensured we had everything and checked on us. She and her team are doing the best they could even when its busy and at peak times. Thank you Blair and Montanna.

I had such a great time here! The food was amazing, but what really made the experience stand out were my servers and hostesses— Maddy, Blair, and Willow. I rarely get nights out as im a mom of two busy little ones. So pleased to say from the moment my friends and I walked into the restaurant it was so pleasant! I once was a server and took note in how hard everyone worked as a team! I especially noticed the hosts! One in particular who's name was Blair was extremely kind, polite and helpful. She was going above and beyond in a very busy atmosphere! My friends and I will be back!

Isaac's Way Restaurant is a unique and community-minded eatery located in the vibrant downtown of Fredericton, New Brunswick. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create globally inspired dishes with options for vegetarians and those with gluten-free dietary needs. The establishment also offers a hearty weekend breakfast and a kids' menu. Additionally, Isaac's Way features an art gallery where over 70 pieces are displayed and auctioned to benefit charity.
I came here with a group of colleagues for dinner on our first night in town. I can't say enough nice things about this restaurant. The atmosphere is unique and fun, the food was excellent and there was a nice selection of beer to choose from. I had the Maple Samon ((amazing!), two of my colleagues had Courthouse Burgers with sweet potato fries and my other colleague had chowder and potato skins. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. Our server, Sara Beth, was courteous, fast, humorous, friendly and had great suggestions and information about the food on the menu (eg,where some of the beers were from, where the food was shipped from, what was local, etc). I highly recommend a visit here.

Visited as a tourist.Ribs were dry and hard. Kids pulled chicken was dry, mussels were ok but served with no kind of bread.inhad to find our server and asked for some white bread but instead I got burned toast soaking in butter and got charged $3 !!! Service brutal. So if you are visiting this lovely city for a day or two, try different spot to eat.

Highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Fredericton! We got the Isaac's burger and Salmon cakes which were both cooked perfectly. The burgers blueberry cream cheese and toppings were absolutely delicious. I got a grey tasty salad with blueberry vinaigrette and sunflower seeds. The salmon cake had capers and was seasoned perfectly. We had a good seat on the patio. Our server was attentive and lovely. She was helpful in offering us some things we could see and do during our stay. The restaurant is decorated with a variety of art that is for sale and the proceeds go to a good cause.

Really cool venue in an old court house featuring silent auction art throughout the building. The chowder was one of our favorites on our 2-week Atlantic trip! It was clear a lot of thought went into each of their menu items. Lots of vegan options, and accommodate all food preferences! There were several vegan desserts too! The patio was lovely as well. Service was friendly.

The bacon curry salmon was great but the carrot cake was to die for. Best I ever had. The inside is elegant but relaxing and the outside patio is very nice and has views of the river. Went again and yes the carrot cake still rocks

I was in Fredericton for one night and decided to try out this restaurant. It was nothing short of phenomenal!! Kennedy served us and his personality was simply radiant! He made excellent recommendations and was so attentive. The haddock and fries was sensational and probably the best we have ever had. We also had the special which was the salmon risotto which was so light and delicious. This is truly a hidden gem!!!

It’s not always easy to find a restaurant where we both leave delighted. We started with tofu appetizer (A+ from both). Mr had seafood pasta (loved it) and I had mushroom squash pastry (10/10). We don’t eat out a lot because finding vegan food in a restaurant that serves all the food is not a guaranteed win. Our meal exceeded expectations. Service was great. Would come again and recommend!

Loved it! Visiting from NS and had a great time The smokey mule was delicious and we enjoyed eating on the patio. They were friendly and prompt. Tolerant and kind of us having a toddler. Food was great, platter was more than enough for 3 of us and great bang for your buck.

It was my first visit tonight - it was okay; service was on point, the vibe is quite nice. However, being a vegetarian, I didnt have many options - hardly a few appetizers and nothing else. But that’s on me but it’s a good spot for non vegetarians. Ngl tho - the prices are a bit high Our server was nice enough to suggest making some of their non veg dishes veg so that I could have something to eat - she was really good! Kudos to her 🙌 It’s a nice place to grab a drink, and hang out with friends - it’s got a good vibe!

Good food and service, but on the expensive side. Staff was friendly, and food came out relatively quick, though we went on a day they are usually less busy. The chairs became a bit uncomfortable after sitting down for a while. The prices for some items are suspiciously absent from the menu, such as the imported beers, and dessert menu. Though they will still tell you the prices if you ask about it. Do not order the peanut butter cheese cake. The waiting staff openly admitted it was a bit of a ripoff, and isn't even made on-site. The toffee pudding was delicious though. Overall not a bad spot to eat, especially if you've got some disposable income. Weekdays are the best time to go, as they are less busy. Cheers!

Very nice pub vibes and the staff is kind and charming. We had some tasty appetizers (crunchy wings and onion rings) and shared the Reuben sandwich, which was good but disappointingly tiny (it seemed like we got the very tip of the rye bread loaf - the smallest rye slices). We also got their famous carrot cake, which was dense and didn't taste much of anything (including the frosting), but their sticky toffee pudding was absolutely divine! Overall, we had a great time. I recommend sticking with their appetizers, price and portion size wize, they are the winners on their menu.

We stopped here for a much needed break during a long driving day.. we chose the place based on the name alone but it exceeded any expectation we had. The rouge ruben and the harvest burger were excellent, the sides of mash potatoes and Ceasar salad were both perfect.. the portion was plentiful and tied us over for the remaining 5 hours of our drive. Service was great, will remember to go again anytime I'm back in town.

We had dinner before a show last evening. We ordered the Ribeye. I must say, I was surprised. It was very delicious. Service was excellent and we received a 15% discount when we showed our tickets which was great. However, what they passed off as Cheesecake was nasty. A bunch of creamy stuff. Just horrible.

We've visited this bar many times since it's my partner's favorite spot. Recently, we decided to try their lunch menu for the first time, unaware that brunch is only available on weekends. Nevertheless, I was delighted with my choice of fish cakes – they were incredibly filling and delicious! The crispy surface and tender filling made them a delightful treat. The fries were equally impressive, perfectly crispy just how I like them. To my partner's surprise, he tried whiskey instead of his usual beer and was blown away by the extensive selection of hundreds of whiskeys this bar offers. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this bar, especially for whiskey enthusiasts!

So I’m not a big fan of tomatoes, but I still wanted to try the Salmon Salad. I wasn’t even hungry, but I cleaned off that plate & a serving of sticky toffee pudding. Stellar food, kind staff, and an overall enjoyable experience. Would give 6 stars if I could!

The Officers' Square Provincial Heritage Place, a former center of military activity, boasts restored buildings that house soldiers' barracks and other facilities. This British and Canadian post spans two blocks along Queen Street and offers outdoor summer concerts and various events.
Like the whole of the riverfront area of Fredericton, the area was clean, well maintained with beautiful flowers everywhere. Felt very safe and was a lovely place to take a walk and learn about the history of the city and garrison from the informative signage. Not far from the capital building that you can tour.

Fabulous dip into history. Small museum inside is a treasure! Back for Thursday Night Market ... WOW, where did all these vendors and people come from!!?? It's the entertainment, music groups, happy vibes! No... wait, it's the Food Truck court!! Soo many choices, hot food of all kinds, loong lineups of patient hungry snackers... kabobs, fries, kibbie and burgers, wraps and rice, pizza and donairs. Unbelievable! No no, not it... it's the vendors, artists, handcrafters, woodworkers and jewelry makers. Whewww! Not that? Well... what! The people, it's the kids, the teens, Mom's n Dad's, grandparents with wrinkles and white hair, the skateboarders zipping around the board park. It's Fredericton, Dude, on a Thursday summer night. So exciting! So fun. You belong here too!

My husband and I went here for our date night for the first time. We really liked that the server knew how to play our game because he taught us when we were confused! The food is good, but nothing glamorous. The atmosphere was focused on gaming and so it was great. We go back almost every week now!

This place is so fun! I knew when I was going to made a reservation which was easy to do on the phone. TONS of board game options, including an adults only section! The tables are super fun with lights and a surface you can write on. The service is great and friendly. They also have escape rooms which I did not get to experience this time around, but would love to next time as your entry gets you free access to play board games. They've got a great menu as well but I did not partake in food this time.
Dani — Google review
Whatever your night out budget is, make sure to add an extra $50 when you come here because you're gonna walk out with new board games. Really though, these guys are awesome. Almost any date night usually includes a pop in here for a quick game. The guy working up front (didn't catch his name) can give you the perfect recommendation and explain the rules to seemingly every game quickly and efficiently. Only areas where I would offer feedback is the cocktail menu is full of sugary sweet drinks. Would love if they expanded a little bit here, maybe coming up with some unique recipes themed around games. And the lighting. Since the new renovations (which overall look really good) the place is lit up like clinic. Having a slightly warmer bulb would help give it more of that living room vibe, less harsh when coming in from the dark. All this aside, if you're a board game lover there's real passion in this place and it'll always be a stop for us on a night out.

Great little beach that's not too far from the city. And it's not as stoney as most other beaches (very sandy)! Theres also a trail that loops the lake; which direction you want to start depends if you want to use the bathroom at the rotary club first (go right) or use it last (go left). Surprisingly, not a lot of mosquitos, and I didn't notice any bites. I'd still bring some deet just cause the combination of water and forest. Dog friendly and also has charcoal barbecues/picnic benches. There are also lifeguards and first aid station. Note that the parking lot is gravel.

Clean supervised beach. Lifeguards do not guard outside the buoy and unfortunately had to be alerted that someone was in need of help just outside the buoy. There are well maintained outhouses, and clean change rooms. Two parking lots to choose from, and a trail that leads to the beach.

We were visiting the city and decided to give mocco a go since it was walking distance from the Hilton. No reservations, it was busy and they were able to squeeze us in between a reservation with a one hour limit, but this arrangement worked perfectly for us. My wife ordered off the a la cart menu, the ravioli meal, and I ordered their special for that evening which was salmon and risotto. Everything was amazing, cooked to perfection, and devoured in no time. We took the dessert to go, lemon tarts, which were delectable. The interior decoration and low level lighting made this a quaint little dinning establishment that we look forward to visiting again the next time we are in the area.

We visited this restaurant for our wedding anniversary and had a great experience. It wasn’t busy, and we had reserved a peaceful corner, but in hindsight, the seating there was a bit uncomfortable. The service was great, and we even got a complimentary cheesecake. The handheld sandwiches were amazing—definitely the highlight for us. The menu is impressive, with good vegetarian options. Overall, a great spot, and we’ll be back for the handhelds!

Moco Restaurant is definitely worth a visit when you’re in Fredericton. They’re known for their excellent lamb dishes, but we were absolutely starving and craving carbs, so we went straight for the pasta—and it did not disappoint. Both pasta dishes we tried were flavorful and cooked perfectly, showing that Moco’s kitchen knows how to do more than just great lamb. Service was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was relaxed yet classy. Whether you come here for their signature lamb or just to satisfy a pasta craving, you’ll likely leave happy and full like we did. Highly recommend!

At MOCO, we enjoyed a delicious dinner of piping hot food! We were first served some freshly baked bread served with an oil vinaigrette dip, it was so good! Then our food came out pretty quick and we felt like we had died and gone to heaven eating here! After our mains, we enjoyed a few desserts, both of which were shareable and yummy. Service was great and we’d definitely come back again!

Our experience was very nice in the restaurant, although the salads needed more dressing. The tiramisu is far from authentic Italian, the brownie was a bit dry. The prices are a bit high for the quantity of food. The service was nice and polite.
Darya B — Google review
The food was exquisite and the service very friendly. The portions are generous and the atmosphere easy going. I recommend it without reserve.
Louise P — Google review
Unfortunately, our experience at Moco was quite disappointing. The only positive aspect was our server — very polite, friendly, and attentive — but she was moving so fast it felt like she was running a marathon. Everything else about the service and the meal fell short of expectations. One dish was extremely salty, while the other had no seasoning at all. None of the dishes were introduced or explained, which would be the minimum effort expected from a restaurant charging prices comparable to well-known places in Toronto. The prices are completely out of proportion with the experience offered. The portions are small, the sides are uninviting, and the overall quality does not match the cost. In a small city like Fredericton, it’s surprising to see such high prices without the level of care, presentation, and attention that should come with them. The space also urgently needs renovation: dirty windows, faded dish towels, worn-out cutlery, exposed wires, and squeaky floors. The setting feels improvised and poorly planned, with servers constantly running up and down stairs without clear flow — resulting in disorganization and long waits. In short, Moco needs to rethink its entire concept — from the structure to the service, and especially the consistency between what it charges and what it delivers. Charging more doesn’t make something high-quality.

Commencing with a fabulous dining experience at Pickle Jar, situated within the Hilton Garden Inn Fredericton Downtown. To be candid, it was quite unexpected as most hotel eateries are subpar, and their website images were horrendous. However, they acknowledge this and are working on improving them. Hence, when invited for dinner, I decided to give it a try based on positive reviews. The restaurant's style is categorized as grill with options suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Love Pickle Jar in Hilton Garden Inn, Fredericton, NB! Food is amazing!!! Kudos to Chefs!!! Staff is awesome, so is the service. Thank you for a great experience!!! Many thanks to Kristal for a wonderful service and making us feel welcomed!

Very neat restaurant! The food was very tasty with good ingredients. Loved the prickle jar before the meal! The service was very pleasant 😊 Will come back!

Neat and clean restaurant. This is the section of hilton garden inn hotel's in house restaurant. Provides great food, the staffs are very nice. Would also recommend in case you want help in something. If you have breakfast included in your hotel package, here you can have your breakfast. My favourite breakfast items are salmon benny, smoked salmon bagel, granola bowl, breakfast poutine. Dinner item which I loved the most is salmon, I ordered this twice.
Abhishek C — Google review
Service was fast, quickly plated good. Eggs were a bit overcooked, French toast a bit under cooked, it was too close to plain bread but tasted ok. The croque madame had Swiss cheese that was a little too thick, almost choked on it more than once. Pancakes were tasty, served with real maple syrup. Prices were pretty standard fare

Quite a little jem for breakfast (only thing we tried, but did twice in 3 days). Food and service are amazing. Tried the breakfast poutine, the Florentine Benny, the Cordon Bleu benny and the homemade biscuits. I 100% recommend getting the biscuit (with carrot jam) and the Florentine benny. The cordon bleu benny is delicious and very well done, but the Florentine is simply the best benny I've ever tasted.

Our group of six stopped in for dinner recently, hoping for a relaxed evening on the patio. The space itself was nice—comfortable seating, good street views—but the experience quickly went downhill from there. Things kicked off with a drink spilled over two of us, which we brushed off as an honest mistake. Unfortunately, it was also a sign of things to come. Service was slow and disorganized throughout, even though the restaurant didn’t appear especially busy. We waited over an hour for appetizers, some of which arrived missing garnishes, sauces, or in one case, arrived with a thick dark hair. The live music added another…layer. The solo keyboard performance was, in theory, a nice touch, but in practice came across more like a karaoke audition that nobody asked for. Too loud, and a little off-key. It made the long gaps between courses feel even longer. By the time the mains arrived (some of them, incorrectly), we’d settled into the realization this was less a dinner and more of a patience exercise. We engaged in a scavenger hunt where the target item was silverware for our entrees. A few dishes were fine, like the catfish, and Sarah's Mothers Meatloaf was tasty...and the Caesars were good, but others were just flat-out misses, including a smash burger that stayed half uneaten, and certainly not packed to go, and fish cakes instead of the ordered salmon dinner, because...close enough right? To be fair, they left the fish cakes (which were decent) and prioritized the salmon dinner. By the end of it, we didn’t complain much. We just paid our ransom and left well-below-average tips. Maybe we caught them on a bad night, maybe it was just a perfect storm of things going sideways, but it’d take a compelling reason for us to come back and roll those dice again.
Cy P — Google review
Check out the menu ahead of time as it doesn't carry typical fare and thematically, it seems to be 'dill in unexpected places' with no other unifying element to the cuisine. Our party all tried different items. The salmon was ok but overcooked. It, at least, was the only dish to not be largely corn. The chicken bowl was mostly just corn and cheese and the tossed salad and meatloaf both featured corn so heavily we wondered if it was just about to go bad or if there had been some sort of special on bulk cans. The meatloaf was also a bit dry and seemingly lacking in the glaze described in the menu. Service was disappointing as we were not checked on until she came to bring a cheque.

The food was excellent and reasonably priced. We were seated in the bar area. The bartender was very friendly and talked a lot with us as he's from the same town as we are. We had a great time and everyone should go and try the Pumpkin-tini

Coffee shop
Nestled in the heart of Fredericton, The Tipsy Muse Cafe is a haven for creatives and coffee lovers alike. This inviting space offers an array of delightful coffee blends, scrumptious treats, and even cocktails to sip while you immerse yourself in your next artistic endeavor. With live music filling the air and vinyl spinning in the background, it’s an atmosphere that inspires creativity.
I love this coffee shop with a passion! It was my go-to place when I lived in Freddy. The coffee is GREAT, as well as the italian sodas (try lavender and you’ll thank yourself and me). It’s in a really nice area too. The pastries are delicious but I wish there were more food options :). The baristas were always really nice to me as well as the owner. I love that they extended their hours to 7pm too! They have artists who have their art up in the shop for people to admire (and they change the art periodically). I love this place!

I’m not sure when this happened but the tragically maple cream cheese used to be amazing and smooth with tiny little bacon bits but now it’s just plain cream cheese with chunk of bacon fat in it? It’s a shame. Coffee is still good but please bring back the old cream cheese recipe.

We arrived to no one at the cash. We were planning on decaf americanos and a pastry. There were no pastries available and the decafs are a premium of an extra dollar. With 4 shots in my small cup the coffee was very good. Atmosphere was anything but cozy as the temperature was freezing in the cafe despite being a pleasant 22 outside. In my opinion they are overrated
Al B — Google review
I visit this cafe often but lately I've been quite disappointed at the service. The baristas seem quite friendly with people they know personally but they seem to be quite careless to other customers. Every time I sit in the cafe the tables are always dirty which is fine but the staff seem unhappy if I ask to have it cleaned or even offer to do it myself. Today I received my coffee without a lid and didn't even bother to ask. I frequent local cafes in town but this one definitely seems to fall short on the quality and service it used to have.

Delicious Gluten free option!! They have a plain gluten free bagel option, and were very kind to open a new plain cream cheese for me to prevent cross contamination. They also have a gluten free toaster which is so so so lovely. My bagel came out of the kitchen on a tray with parchemin paper before being plated and delivered to me personally. Not to mention the bagel itself was delicious- I had to get my partner to taste it to make sure it was actually gluten free (lol). These folks really went over and above to accommodate my allergy, and it is so incredibly appreciated. The people I was with had coffee served in beautiful hand-made pottery mugs, and the Breakfast Bagel. Accessibility: there is a ramp alternative to the few stairs to enter the cafe. Gender neutral, accessible washrooms in the back.

Pizza restaurant
Luna Pizza 1990 Ltd is a popular pizzeria in Fredericton, known for its delicious Montreal-style pizza. The restaurant has been serving mouthwatering pizzas for over 25 years, with a focus on quality ingredients and generous toppings. Customers rave about the crispy crust and ample cheese on their Works pizza, as well as the flavorful one-topping pepperoni option.
Luna Pizza is awesome! We got a gluten free pizza and a 21” works pizza during the storm. The staff was so nice despite the stress of orders during the storm. They even gave us a complimentary Caesar salad while we waited! The owner is super kind and the pizza was delicious. Highly recommend. (Picture is of a Creta gluten free)

I've ordered chicken wrap and Greek salad. The salad/lettures in the wrap was very watery. The mix of salad in my Greek salad was bitter. Also the salad lettuces was not as fresh as I wanted. On top of that I got 2 olives with bones in my salad. I'm not going to order anything again. However the stuff was so nice and friendly.

Was disappointed with the pizza, lapsing in cheese and crust. Back in 1979 when the old man (original owner) was hand tossing his pizza in the window of his shop on King St it was the best pizza in town! Even in 2018 it was still the quality I remembered of years gone by. However today's (Sept, 11/25) 12" left me saddened by the lack of old school quality. Upon my phone call to order I was assured that the quality was still same, as it had been a few years since I was back in Fredericton. Would I order again? Probably, except I'd ask for double cheese. Wonder if they're even hand tossing them anymore? However as I said I am saddened by the apparent change in quality! I come to Fredericton from Alberta looking forward to 2 things: Luna Pizza & Schooner Beer Sadly disappointed by the Pizza, & slightly disappointed by the Beer, as you are unable to buy to cans in NB, you must travel to Amherst NS to acquire Schooner in cans. Anyhow to end on a high note Luna is way better than any of the big franchises! Tire it, then you be the judge!

Delicious, REAL pizza witj plenty of quality toppings. Picked up order and very friendly staff. Recommend Luna Pizza to anyone looking for quality, old-style delicious pizza. Keep up the great service !!

Hands down the best pizza in Freddy Beach in my opinion. Reminds me of old fashioned Montreal sloppy style pizza. Expect generous and copious amounts of toppings and a crust that’s always worth finishing.
Ben W — Google review
I asked what kind of slices they had. They said meat or works. Little did I know they were already pre cooked and stored in the fridge ready to be pre-heated. I was very disappointed and was hoping for a fresh slice. They did say they are half cooked. Very thick cheese, wasn’t the biggest fan. Bacon was sliced not balls. But the slices were big and the pizza sauce was alright.

We went to Kingswood resort to attend a celebration of life of a dear friend. I did not organize it, but attended it and it was very pleasant. Very spacious meeting room. The lunch that was catered was very nice with sliced meats and fresh fruit.

Very disappointing experience at Kingswood Entertainment Centre. The place is extremely understaffed — there were hardly any employees around, and the few we saw seemed uninterested in helping customers. Service was slow, unorganized, and overall not welcoming. Simple requests took far too long to address, and it felt like no one was taking responsibility for making sure guests had a good time. With such limited staff and poor service, it’s hard to enjoy the facilities, no matter how nice they might be. Definitely not worth the visit until they improve their staffing and customer service.
Negaresh N — Google review
This is my second visit to Kingswood in a month. The first time I came during the week early in the day/ at opening. I found it to be overpriced for what it was. Half of the arcade games that I remember being here are gone and kids no longer win tickets to redeem for prizes yet the prices have gone up significantly. On top of that I spent 50$ on 3 meals that were crap, like warm/cold to the point that I had to ask for them to warm things up in the microwave. This time we returned for bowling on a Saturday. We needed to find someone to get the balls to start coming to our lane and they trickled in at best. When paying by the hour it seems like a bit of a joke that one would spend the majority of that time waiting on a ball to arrive so that they can play the game. Additionally the bathrooms were disgusting. When did this place become such a dump? What a disappointment!
Brie C — Google review
Lots of options, but seems cheaply done. Bowling lanes were well worn, no bumpers for the kids and only used small balls. Arcade had some good games. Lazer tag was alright. Staff seemed very bored. Play area was a bit too big for my 2.5yo, but we weren't allowed to go in with her to help her climb and she didn't care for the baby section.
Melissa L — Google review
Bowling is not 10 pin, or 5 pin but CandlePin. But decently priced. Pins fall and are not swept off alley until your round is over and the pins are reset. Arcade is great with lots of options for games. Laser tag is a small space but still fun for small groups especially children. Pizza hut express is where you need to beware, prices are insane. Grab food before or after you arrive. There's a lot of fun to be had for young people, food prices have much room for improvement, hence the low star rating.
Jesse K — Google review
absolutely disappointed. overpriced gambling games for kids. me and my boyfriend went there because it was recommended by many people, and we thought it would be suitable for teens & adults – but at our surprise, it wasnt. it seems to be only targeted towards children. most of the games was out of service, and we paid 49$ for 6,000 points, though the games requires 100~300 points each. and now were left with 25 points. I do not recommend this place. Flippin’s was a lot more enjoyable.
Alexia L — Google review
Def. a fun place and entertaining for all ages. Bouncy castle for the young ones, arcades for the older and bowling for the rest of us. The toddler game area costs 11$ with no time limit which is great but the arcades are over priced especially if you have a big family. The cheapest game is 1.75$ and lasts about 30 seconds so you can easily burn through 25-30$/ kid for 10 minutes.
Z K — Google review
Fun for all ages, and the prices are reasonable for a large family outing. We are a family of 6 from age 35 to as young as 1 we spent hours there doing various activities and buying food and only spent $60. Places like this are hard to find around NB. Some things they could add would be Bumper cars and maybe even a go cart track. This place still gets 5 stars and we still haven't explored everything they have to offer.

Beautiful walk, beautiful flowers and art pieces. The parking lot was packed as there were two baseball games going on, but it took no time to park and get going . Lots of little hike trails through the woods, the main trail is easy to walk on and you can easily push a stroller if needed.

It's not a garden. It's a forest within the city with one pathway in the middle and two areas smaller than my own garden with flowers and ferns. No trees or plants are identified. Minimal variety of species (most of it is eastern hemlocks). No restrooms. Its free. I guess it's ok for locals to walk / jog there. Completely Useless stop if you're from out of town and wanted to visit a beautiful garden.

Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of downtown, 11th Mile is a vibrant culinary gem that invites you to embark on a delightful gastronomic journey. This chef-owned establishment specializes in shareable plates crafted from locally sourced ingredients, offering an eclectic menu that beautifully blends classic Spanish flavors with Asian and Peruvian influences. For those who prefer familiar tastes, options like pasta, salmon, chicken, and steak are also available.
Just finished eating here for the first time and what a fantastic spot. I have been in Fredericton for several years and I feel like 11th Mile for me is the same thing as those classic movies that everyone says they love, but you for some reason just never get around to watching. Well, this was our first day of my vacation Advent calendar I created for my wife for us to discover and eat our way around new spots (to us) in town and it's going to be hard to top this. Having travelled extensively in our lives, my wife and I both agreed that this felt like the trendiest place in town with an all around great vibe. The service was great and you could tell that the owners truly care seeing as how they were also out on the busy floor serving occasionally. That's always the first step to a great restaurant. Then of course comes the food. I've heard many say that while the food is fantastic, it's pricey. We would agree, but pricey for a good reason. You can tell that the ingredients are top notch. The cooking was perfect. The flavour combinations, often unique for Fredericton. The beef tostadas were a single bite but a myriad of flavours. The scallion pancake was reminiscent of our lives in China, but for folks who've lived there, it's a bit more doughy than we're used to. That said, delicious. The accompanying sauce was perfect. The flank steak at medium rare was cooked perfectly and unbelievably tender while the chimichurri sauce added a nice punch of slightly spicy flavour. Pork belly is a dish that is extremely popular in East Asia where my wife and I met and lived. This one was on par with some of the best dongporou I've ever had (it's not 东坡肉 for those who know the dish). The only thing I would say is it would be nice if there were either a salty or acidic addition to the dish to balance out the various sweet elements. The sauce does a nice job, but a little more could have perfected things I think. We also had one of the best white wines I think we've ever tasted here and are now hoping we can find it outside this restaurant. Finally, we finished things off with the peanut butter semifreddo which was Lucious, smooth and had the perfect balance with the crunch from the candies pecans. Well done 11th Mile, I should have come here a lot sooner.

So I’m a little amazed to be raving about sweet potatoes - but WOW. Salsa macha and sesame wouldn’t have been my first thought for a sweet potato dish, either, but the sour cream not only ties it all together, it takes the whole plate to the next level. Shout out to the staff, who were able to fit me and my friends in at the bar despite us showing up on a Saturday without a reservation. Across the boards: the food is extremely well-cooked, the flavors are all in balance, the portions are moderate but prices are very reasonable for the style of restaurant, and I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the white lotus cocktail. Absinthe mixed drinks can be tough to pull off, and this one was perfect. Oh, and DEFINITELY don’t skip dessert. I’m extremely picky about my cheesecake, and this one was lovely 😊. (Ambience-wise, the restaurant is pretty and comfortable without particularly standing out. The food is definitely the focal point.)

Loved the atmosphere and the fun, flavorful bar snacks! We tried the Cucumber & Shrimp Salad, which had a unique and refreshing sauce. We ordered the Flank Steak and Cavatelli, but only got the Cavatelli due to a mix-up. It was delicious, though a bit heavy for me. The walnut cake for dessert was divine, with a homemade caramel that was to die for! Overall, despite the main dish mix-up, it was a great experience and definitely worth recommending.

Had a blast at this awesome spot! The vibe is top-notch, striking a cool balance between cozy and fancy. And let's talk drinks – their cocktail menu is top shelf! But what made the night was the service – super chill and attentive! The service was on point with recommendations, making the whole dining thing a breeze. If you're into awesome small plates, cool drinks, and a laid-back atmosphere, this spot's a winner.

Best restaurant in Fredericton? More like, best restaurant in New Brunswick! My family and I toured NB for a week and we had our last and best meal in NB here. Food was delicious, elevated, and fresh (e.g.: you could taste the sweetness in the shrimp). Service was warm, friendly, and efficient, and prices are fair. In terms of dishes, our favourites were the roasted carrots, brassica (broccoli), seared tuna, and chilled shrimp, but you can’t go wrong with anything here. Next time were back, we will definitely eat here again! Quick note: we went on a Saturday evening and it was packed all night. Reservations recommended!

This was an absolute banger of a restaurant. After eating for 10 nights in a row in Fredericton while in town for work, I was starting to feel like the nachos at my hotel were about the best thing I was going to have in town BUT thankfully we decided to try the 11th mile and I am so happy we did. It turns out that they have special taco Tuesdays and the tacos were most likely the best tacos I have ever had in my life including my yearly trips to Mexico! The rest of the food was great as well but I just want to stress how much I loved these tacos! What an amazing restaurant and I am seriously looking forward to my next visit. I was also fortunate enough to meet the owner Peter Tompkins and he was super great. If you are in the area, I highly recommend dropping in!

We celebrated anniversary at the 11th, and I have to say we were both blown away by the experience. Everything we consumed was hands down the best food we've ever had in this city, and we were shocked that it took us so long to visit. From the cocktails to the plates, you can tell that everything is perfectly curated and prepared with intention, and the service was impeccable. We will definitely be returning.

Jack's Pizza is a small counter-serve eatery that specializes in serving large pizza slices, along with other tasty offerings such as poutine, wings, and donair. The restaurant boasts an impressive menu and friendly staff. The ambiance is enhanced by the vibrant Arab culture and music playing in the background. Patrons are consistently treated with kindness and can enjoy a satisfying full meal or a quick snack at reasonable prices.
Hands down best garlic fingers in Fredericton! Pizza is delicious and Putin is just a-whole-nothe level! Highly recommend!!!! And make sure to order their 22” pizzas and garlic fingers easily gonna feed 12-15 people with 2 of these. Better deal than anywhere else in town to feed and satisfy a crowd
Daniel T — Google review
I've been a repeat customer of Jack's Pizza since my university days. There is nothing that quite compares to their food, restaurant, and service. Today, I ventured over with my spouse. We no longer live in the area, but it was well worth the drive and visit. We purchased a 9 inch garlic fingers, a small meat lovers poutine, and a slice of pizza + pop. When it comes to Jack's, I'm an avid poutiner lover. I've enjoyed their meat lovers poutine for years now, and nothing pairs better than that with a slice of pizza and a pop. I will always recommend this gem of a spot. From the friendly customer service to the delicious food, you can't go wrong. I love Jack's.
Chelsea P — Google review
I love Jack’s Pizza, easily the best place to grab a quick, cheap, and delicious slice. Staff is some of the friendliest and kindest staff of any restaurant/eatery I’ve been to. I will be going here for years to come and if at all possible, I will bring my future kids ❤️
Teagan C — Google review
Tried to take advantage of one of these deals and the young fella was nice enough to try and accommodate until this old aggressive man said “no no no” many times and said it was only for the day time even though the ad didn’t specify that. It’s just said for the day of the game. Doubt I’ll be back after such rude behaviour.
Jon H — Google review
One of the better deals in town for price:size. There are plenty of bar stool chairs around the place to sit down for a slice, but not to dine in with a group. The 12" garlic fingers definitely needed more cheese, but the flavour was still there. The pizza itself is also a fairly standard late night, bar street pizza joint meal. I had the meat trio pizza, 16". They also do pizza by the slice which I assume becomes the best thing ever for those leaving the bars. Put on top they have donair and shawarma and desserts and nachos and wings and more, it's a nice place tucked away in the corner of the bar area.
Andrew B — Google review
Bought a large donair that came out to be the size of a small. I even tipped 20% that brought the total over $21. When I complained the girl shrugged and said she just works there. Did not try and fix her mistake. Was cold and tastes like the meats been sitting a while. 0/5

Hands down the best pizza, and fantastic service after a night out on the town! Couldn’t recommend enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't been in Jack's pizza in a couple of years, but this pizza is so good!!! All the kids (and adults) loved both pizzas & garlic fingers. 💯💯recommended!

Vanessa was very friendly & attentive & prompt. She made my Mother’s Day & my own Mother was very happy with that service. We will come back & ask for her every time. She was the best!

Eaten here many times for work dinners, it's sort of our team dinner default location as it has food we all enjoy. Never left a review before but decided it's time. Our waitress, Vanessa, was phenomenal. She was hilarious, attentive, accommodating, and just overall great that evening. Food as usual was good. I defaulted to ribs as always. There was once in the past they were dry but they've been consistently perfect since then. Right amount of sauce, not over cooked, right amount of bite, not chewy but not completely melt in your mouth - perfect ribs really. Everyone else on the team was happy with their meals as well as is usually the case. Can't go wrong eating here.

I've been there a number of times and secured their separate room upstairs for retirement dinners. Doesn't matter the size of the group, we always have excellent food that caters to every dietary need, including vegans, people with celiac disease, dairy free, etc. The wait staff is excellent, the quality of food is great, price is reasonable, and it's a wonderful atmosphere. I have to give an extreme shout out to the gluten-free brownie dessert that they have... I shared a taste with other people at the table who ordered other desserts and everyone raved about my gluten-free brownie with ice cream and salted caramel sauce. Highly recommend! 😉
Lisa W — Google review
I ordered the buttermilk chicken with potato wedges. The food was completely and utterly tasteless. No flavour at ALL. Not even the gravy had flavour! Extremely disappointing and it wasn’t cheap! Over thirty dollars for something without even a grain of salt! I’m genuinely concerned how such a simple meal can be made so poorly. I didn’t even taste potato in the wedges. Also, my mother ordered the salad with salmon and she discovered that the lettuce was expired and rotting! I am absolutely disgusted and recommend this place to nobody. They should be ashamed to charge money for this. I wouldn’t eat here again even if I was paid $100000! Absolutely horrendous, and unless you enjoy bland, tasteless, and rotting food, DO NOT EAT HERE
Kejsjsjensu R — Google review
Dinner for the most part was enjoyable. There were 3 of us. One person had deep-fried bococinni balls, and sweet potato fries. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The next person had chicken fetuccine (gluten free) and enjoyed it. I had a maple, ginger bowl with peanut crumbs and steak which was coated with something. It was good except for the steak. What a waste.
Shaune M — Google review
We were staying at the hotel next door. We decided to try Sam Snead's. We ordered a burger and salad and the chicken fettuccine and garlic bread. The online menu said that take-out items were subject to a $5 fee for the cost of containers, however I don't think they charged for that. They did however, charge $2.50 for 3 pickles on the burger. I can understand charging extra for cheese or bacon, but pickles?! The food was good.
Sarah R — Google review
Food and service were both good. Some of the dishes could have been seasoned a little more. One of the wait staff made an inappropriate comment about asian people - in a room full of asian people, which I found very distasteful. Beautiful, expansive views of the golf course was a somewhat redeeming quality of the place.
R. P — Google review
Stopped in for lunch. The food is excellent. The fresh greens and salad fixings are especially good.

Red Oven Eatery is a fast food restaurant that specializes in Canadian cuisine, including lunch and dinner options. They have free off-street parking and wheelchair access. The restaurant accepts credit cards.
The Red Oven Eatery is a great little spot for a quick great tasting meal. They specialize in calzones. All of which looks really good. They offer take out or have some seating available within. Everything is prepared in front of you and cooked in a little red oven. They're currently not open weekends (June 2019). So be aware of that.

First time eating here. The Tuesday special, two for $16.99, was great! The large calzones are a smaller portion than I would normally eat; however the Tuesday special made up for my larger appetite. The food was delicious and I will go back again.

For day 4, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like The Abbey Café & Gallery. The Beaverbrook Art Gallery, located in Fredericton, is a significant cultural and educational center featuring British, Canadian, and First Nations art. It was donated to the city by New Brunswick art enthusiast Lord Beaverbrook. The gallery houses an extensive collection of over 2,000 pieces of British fine arts including works by renowned painters such as Thomas Gainsborough and John Constable.
The design of this art gallery is exactly to my taste. The all-white walls are visually soothing and create a modern vibe. It’s usually not very crowded, so you can truly appreciate the artwork without being disturbed by people passing by. What’s even more surprising is that they even have works by Dalí here. Overall, it’s a fantastic place. If you ever visit Fredericton, this is definitely a must-see!
Christopher D — Google review
The Tom Thomson: North Star exhibit at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery offers a captivating exploration of one of Canada's most iconic painters. Featuring Thomson’s stunning landscapes, the exhibit showcases his mastery of capturing the Canadian wilderness with vivid colors and emotive brushstrokes. North Star emphasizes Thomson's connection to nature and his role in shaping Canadian art. The gallery’s thoughtful curation and insightful descriptions provide a deeper understanding of Thomson's legacy and his influence on the Group of Seven. Whether you're an art enthusiast or new to his work, this exhibit is a must-see, offering both beauty and historical context.

Similar to AGO. Lots of great art on the walls. Space not taken up by things that keep a curator happy. So many places now seem to have so much wasted space with things the average person does not want to see. This is a gallery I could visit weekly and enjoy every time.
Chris B — Google review
Gorgeous art gallery, great way to spend a rainy morning or afternoon and definitely a must-see if in Fredericton. Majority of the collections were by Canadian artists and I loved so many of the pieces. Beautiful cafe as well.
Janice C — Google review
The duration of the visit is 1-1.5 hours. There is a huge painting of Dali, and some other works are also very ornamental. The service staff is very hospitable. Personally, I think the ticket price of 20 yuan is a little expensive. But students can get a discount, and children are free.
Anqi Y — Google review
This art museum is really great. We parked on the other side of the river and biked over the bridge and there were bike parking spots out front. They have a cute little Cafe that you can go to without getting a ticket and the tickets were only like $14 a person which wasn't bad. The Dali part was kind of amazing, and they have many great exhibits.

Love coming to this museum: the staff were all pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. Even my husband enjoyed himself. Always look forward to visiting when I'm in Fredericton.

Nice and delicious food. They have beautiful art pieces on the wall... It's a low key place to hang out. They even have books to read and a study room you can use privately.

My first time in Fredericton and I had to go to Abbey Cafe! The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, I love all the adorable animal artwork, the bright red chairs and benches and everything in between! They have a couple shelves where they carry some grocery type items, like specialty chocolate bars, Dandies marshmallows, nooch, vegan jerky and more! Prices are a little high but expected for specialty foods. They have a fridge with local soft drinks and Kombucha and also carry Butlers soy curls. They also have fresh baked goods like muffins, cookies and cakes. The menu is quite large as well offering wraps, cold and hot bowls and a few bits and bobs. I tried the pad Thai bowl and it was flavourful, filling and delicious. Portions are good! Definitely a new favourite of mine in such a beautiful city!

Stopped in on our way home from vacation and had a great much needed meal. The Bean burger and especially the Caesar salad was fantastic!
Rob J — Google review
This charming vegetarian restaurant impressed us greatly upon our visit, which was based on the strong recommendation of our vegetarian friends. The cozy atmosphere adorned with captivating paintings from local artists added to the delightful experience. I opted for the Cajun chicken burrito, and I must say, it was a delightful surprise as it tasted just like real chicken. The portion size was ample, and the flavors were delectable. However, it's worth noting that they have limited indoor seating, which tends to fill up quickly, especially during weekdays at noon. Nevertheless, the staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. While the overall price might lean a bit towards the higher side, given that it's a vegetarian restaurant, I am thoroughly satisfied with the overall experience!
Carrie G — Google review
Wonderful service and delicious vegan food with nice patio seating on a bustling street. Our server was super courteous and knowledgeable of the area. The food was served to us on three patio in a very reasonable time. They have a very good menu of filling and nutritious vegetarian food. We had the coconut curry and the cajun chick'n burrito with pumpkin spice chocolate chip cookies. Definitely recommend the place. We'll be back for sure!

Very nice vegan café/restaurant and local art gallery, service was good, atmosphere is nice too, spent a while getting some work done. Decent coffee. Had the soup of the day which was hearty and well-seasoned. Prices are very reasonable.
Beatrice S — Google review
A great spot, especially if you are vegan, but even if you're not. I'm not vegan, but this place has such a wonderful vibe, flavourful selection of foods and snacks, and great snacks. With seating both upstairs and downstairs, it still gets busy during rush hour, so get there early if you're dining in. It's also one of the very few options in the city for those choosing not to eat meat, so thumbs up for diversity as well. I had a cappuccino and their coconut curry. Delicious and packed with ingredients, you certainly won't leave hungry.

Spent the afternoon in Fredricton but the majority of it here! We ADORED this cafe. The inside was so cute. Got sparkling water and played crib in the basement (that is complete with board games and an art gallery). We had amazing in depth tarot card readings, and then got tea before hitting the road. The Cap is an impressive multiroom venue located in the Kingswood Entertainment District, offering a variety of bars serving both craft beer and cocktails. This cool spot features regular live music and DJ sets, providing a vibrant atmosphere for visitors. In addition to its expansive indoor space, The Cap also boasts a massive outdoor patio seating area. As if that wasn't enough, this nanobrewery is situated within a labyrinth-like structure that includes a record store.
I cannot begin to explain how appreciative I am to a specific staff member at the Cap. I attended an event last night and shortly after arriving, I fainted. I do have a fainting disorder but had no signs of an episode coming on until it was too late and I went down. I was with my fiance and a few friends but this staff member went above and beyond to make sure I was okay. After I fainted, my friend got someone to notify staff and this staff member came over immediately as soon as he heard a patron needed help! He proceeded to stay with me until he knew I was coherent and okay. My friends said, during this, he asked if there was anything I needed. He provided me with water, a chair and several cold cloths and did not miss a beat when I requested a bucket as typically I get nauseous after fainting. This specific staff member checked on me multiple times through the event. I probably should have went home but there was no way I was missing Sonreal 🤣 He accommodated all my needs and I just needed to say a big thanks to that staff member, although I don't know his name, as he definitely needs acknowledgement for his efforts to make me feel comfortable during and after my episode. A great atmosphere with caring staff and I couldn't be more appreciative! ❤️

Lighthouse By 540 in Fredericton exceeded expectations with its charming location on the riverside, offering stunning views and a great trail. The restaurant serves good food, including options like poke bowls and virgin Pina coladas. While some found the prices a bit high, others felt it was worth it for the novelty of dining at a lighthouse. The casual BBQ burger/hot dog menu is complemented by a selection of craft beer, cider, and mead.
We dropped by The Lighthouse for a laid-back afternoon bite, and let’s just say—it hit all the right notes. The drinks were top-tier, with a strong showing of local selections that elevated the whole vibe (though a splash of York County Cider on the menu would’ve been the cherry on top). The food? Stellar. I went with the chicken quesadilla paired with a crisp Caesar salad—both were beautifully plated and packed with flavor. My wife opted for the burrata, which was as elegant as it was delicious. Maybe it was the fresh air, the outdoor seating, or the panoramic views, but every bite tasted like summer at its best. Service was on point—friendly, attentive, and somehow always there the moment you needed them without ever hovering. This place has officially earned a spot on our go-to list. Can’t wait to come back.

Great view of the river from the south side and great patio. Easily accessible from Queen street. Friendly staff however service was a bit slow. (I think they had a large table that caused some back up). We had the tuna poke bowl which was fairly meh, and didn't seem very traditional. Had the lobster roll, which was fine, but nowhere near worth it at $36. Overall good, but I would recommend a lot of adjacent restaurants before this one.

We found this cute little spot across from our hotel. There is a nice walking / biking path along the river that is close to the patio. It was a pet friendly patio and they even kindly brought over some water for our 2 dogs. We don’t order food, only a drink and the service was friendly and efficient. We would come back again if we found ourselves back in Fredricton it was a nice atmosphere with good views and reasonable prices.

Beautiful place with great views. Absolutely HORRID service, sat for 40 mins and had no one take our food order. Wasnt that busy and plenty enough servers, waited 25 mins after recieving our drinks for someone to take our food order then finally flagged somebody down for the bill as we were completely turned off from even ordering food. This wasnt a one off either the gentleman next to us had to flag someone down just to even order a drink after sitting for 20 mins. This is unnacceptable service. I see a lot of other reviews from the past 3 years stating the exact same statements. Staff needs better training.

I went with 3 friends. We had the Mac and cheese, the beef taco, burrito bowl and tuna poke bowl. The portions were very small and lacking flavor. The beef taco was soggy. The tuna poke bowl was very small and lacked flavor. Kinda tasted like soap. I was over all disappointed. If you want a drink on the river, this place has a nice atmosphere. Just avoid the food. Many better places to eat that are better. Also they no longer have flat bread of the week.

This is a beautiful establishment, helping to find furever home for these fur babies and give comfort to people enjoying their company. Very nice and friendly staffs. Plenty of room inside to sit and relax. Definitely a must visit place would be a Cat Café.

Amazing spot, a true gem. Girlfriend and I went as a couple activity and we loved it. Prices for food and drink is average cafe prices and very good. The price for the cat room is reasonable, but the cafe itself is also fun. Loved relaxing and playing with the kitties, they are also rescue/shelter cats which is super sweet. The staff is also super nice and friendly. They were also very helpful to provide the information for the process to adopt one of the kitties. :)

Nellie immediately caught my eye. She was elegant and clearly had an authority over the room. I beckoned to her and she came down from the highest point in the room. She had no room in her life for physical affection, but I persisted. She followed me around and tempted me. I brushed her soft fur and tried a play toy… then… a pet on the tail led to a violent outburst and resulted in a razor sharp scratch on the knuckle. Her beauty still haunts me.
Ryan S — Google review
The cats were lovely, but the menu was not only small, it actively excluded gluten free. Even the fudge had an Oreo stuck into it. If you don't want coffee, or you'd prefer something cold, your options are quite limited. That being said, getting to pet the cats was fun. Just be aware that you pay a fee, like a zoo, to play with the cats. Not a problem, but if you're thinking of going, be aware. They had boardgames, too, if you're not a cat person.

David S — Google review
It's been a long time since I've been here, so of course upon returning there were a lot of differences both big and small. Some of the bigger differences were the furnishings and decor, it's become a lot cozier, the furniture is well-maintained and comfortable, and the art on the walls created a welcome atmosphere. But unfortunately that welcoming atmosphere started and ended with the furniture. To start, the price has gone up, it cost us roughly $24 just for two adults to go into the cat room. Their food menu has definitely expanded quite a bit, and I would have loved to try it, but the fact that we had already spent $20+ discouraged us from actually wanting to. There was only one person working, and while I don't usually like to get on the case of retail workers for "not being friendly enough", from the starting gun we just didn't feel very welcome. As soon as we said we wanted 2 adults for the cat room, she just jumped right to our total, no other conversation or upselling before doing so. And probably most egregiously, she didn't even bother to go over the rules or the waiver of the cat room with us which was a MASSIVE red flag, as that was always the case during previous visits. I consider it lucky that we already knew the rules of the space, because *she* had no way of knowing that, and so it set a bad precedent that she probably wasn't going over the rules with other customers, either. But I was willing to give her benefit of the doubt. Maybe she was having a rough day, this was also near close so I can imagine she might have been at the end of a long day. What cemented the experience was actually being in the cat room. For anyone who hasn't been here before, it CANNOT be overstated that your experience here is absolutely going to vary depending on *other* customers in the building. And for about $24, we essentially had paid for the exclusive experience of sitting and watching a family of multiple children terrorize a bunch of defenseless animals. Look, I'm not going to tell other people how to parent their kids. And I'm certainly not going to suggest the solution is for a solo staff member to babysit someone else's kids *for* them. But staff is the last line of defense in drawing boundaries on behalf of the cats and enforcing consequences for crossing them when the parents are unwilling to. These parents didn't do a thing to keep their kids from jumping on the furniture, harassing the cats while they were trying to hide/get away, and overall just being a general nuisance. While there were multiple of their children behaving like this, one in particular was acting out and absolutely should have been monitored more strictly; but instead the parents would just say their name aloud in the hopes that that would simmer them down (this didn't work, because of course not). What especially also didn't help was the staff member coming in to feed them roughly 45 minutes before close, while all the kids were still running and jumping around. This compounded the uncomfortable atmosphere while we watched the cats try to eat only for the kids to constantly be looming over them, harassing them, not allowing them to eat in peace. I wouldn't blame the staff member for being eager to start closing routines early, but feeding time should not be happening while there are children actively running around and intentionally trying to distract them / engage with them. Again, maybe this was just a bad day, I'd really like to hope this isn't a regular occurrence. I felt extremely bad for the cats and I hope this review at least helps encourage the staff members / owners / management to pay more attention to the quality of life for their cats, and maybe enforce better monitoring of the cat room to ensure that the animals in their care aren't being subjected to such unruly behavior. Maybe have more than one person working, for starters. I don't want this to be our last visit, but I don't want to return again until we know for sure we're going to have a positive experience.

Sushi restaurant
Naru Sushi Japanese Restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere with cozy decor and a diverse menu featuring both classic and specialty sushi rolls. Customers have praised the delicious flavors of the vegetarian sushi set and the perfectly balanced spiciness of the spicy delight sushi set. In addition to their sushi, patrons also enjoy other menu items such as agedashi tofu and gyoza. While in-restaurant dining provides a better experience, take-away options are available but may come with longer wait times.
I took my girlfriend to Naru for Valentine’s Day and we both really enjoyed our experience. Our waitress, Vy, was very friendly and despite the restaurant being especially busy, she made sure to check in on us often, which was appreciated. The menu was large enough for us both to easily find something we wanted to try. The food was great and we particularly enjoyed the Banana Tempura Ice Cream for dessert. It was my first time dining in at Naru and I’m sure I’ll be back soon.

Absolutely loved dining here! They have a wide variety of sushi on the menu at reasonable prices (about average compared to other sushi restaurants). We ordered the 3-roll sushi set. it tasted great and looked like the picture in the menu. The service was also excellent, very friendly and attentive.

Midway through a long day of driving, I stopped in for lunch. The space is relaxed and inviting. The service was great. They were fast and friendly and were great about explaining some items on the menu to suit dietary needs. The food itself was exceptional. It was a great experience and if you are in Fredricton it should be checked out.

our waitress was very kind, she even complimented two times my nails ☺️ I loved the service, my favourites were the k chicken and the atlantic roll ! but the floor in both washroom (ladies/gents) were very sticky, could use a good mop !

Was seated immediately by extremely friendly staff. They were very quick with getting the green tea and miss soup. And when the main bento was brought out, they continued to check in and make sure everything was good. The experience and food was absolutely amazing! The staff was also extremely friendly and nice.

I went there yesterday with my husband, because people said it's is a great sushi, even if it's kinda pricey. But honestly, the service was good, but the food was awful, and one sushi smelled really bad. I got a stomachache the next day. And the vibe there? While we were eating, some staff member was on speakerphone super loud in the dining area. Paid more than $110+ tip for a lunch, I won't be coming back.

Was once the best sushi spot in the city, but as of recently the service and atmosphere have taken a dive, the food is still fairly good but with terrible service and the constant yelling by the new manager, it destroys any joy and peace from this once tranquil and enjoyable place to eat at which I did weekly. But will no longer be returning. Luckily there are a few new sushi spots in town.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful spot to indulge your sweet tooth while sipping on a perfect cup of coffee, look no further than Chess Piece Pâtisserie & Cafe. This charming establishment, celebrated as one of Canada's top bakeries by Huffington Post, is nestled conveniently on Queen Street next to City Hall. With its pastel decor and inviting atmosphere, it's an ideal place for both locals and visitors alike.
The best place we've visited in our visit in Fredericton. The girl in the cash greeted us the moment we got in, and when we weren't sure what to get, she gave us the rundown on what pastry is always available and what seasonal what's always bought, etc. She saw me glancing at the booth table, and she cleaned it even before I could even ask. The pastry may be a bit pricy, but it's worth the money. The coffee is good too. It's just perfect and enjoyed our visit. Would visit again if we ever come back to Fredericton.

I visited twice during recent trip to Fredericton. I was so impressed with the level of service! The staff were very helpful and truly care about the business and customers. My tomato sandwich was delicious as we're the cakes I bought.

We visited Fredericton and came here for breakfast. We had chicken sandwich and an Almond croissant, a cup of americano and a cup of house blend coffee. The pastries are tasty, coffee smells great and has enough caffeine that makes me more energetic. The city view from the shop’s window was beautiful. The service was great and friendly. I would recommend this place.

Quick Update: Just had to say, I had one of the most decadent and delicious chocolate cronuts here today, the baked goods and everything else never fails to impress. Original: Great atmosphere and good macarons. Will be back to try more of their desserts I have since been back many times. Their desserts are spectacular, their art and outdoor deck offer a great place to sit out in the sun during summer and the warm glow inside offers a cozy spot during the winter. Couple this with their new Chess Piece Market next door and you could spend and entire morning and lunch times here.

All of the staff are accomodating. They make the atmosphere so comfortable. The front staff was truly amazing, and their barista is well experienced. The desserts and the drinks were exemplary and the nice ambiance too!

We decided to have lunch at the airport location after seeing on the website that it was a French Pâtisserie. We went to the one on the Departure side, and were very disappointed. The display were not labelled well, and the server was not very helpful. We asked if she could make an iced coffee with caramel, and she proceeded to put the caramel on the bottom of the cup, add the ice, and then the coffee, so the caramel was solidified at the bottom of the cup, and the coffee tasted like it had been sitting all day. There was no tomato soup, so we got veggies, but they were dry and tasteless, and dated for 3 days before. If you are thinking of eating at the Fredericton Airport location, think again.

Very nice cafe with warm and welcoming vibe. Staff here is very helpful and nice. They literally care about their customer and try to participate in a conversation if you want or start one. The lady in the front also helped me choose for what i want with my drink as it was my first time here. Definitely recommend it to everyone and will come back for sure again

Snooty is one of those traditional places that you can guarantee good service and good pub food. Been going for over a decade and I love that the menu has been consistent over the years with a few new changes here and there. They have very experienced staff and have amazing prices. Have to say, the BBQ Chicken Nachos hit different

Went here for the first time based on Google reviews! They did not disappoint. I had hot & sweet chicken wings, which were deliciously crispy and saucy. The homemade blue cheese dip is a MUST if you are a blue cheese lover like myself. It was one of the best I've ever had. My hubby had the smash burger and really enjoyed it. Our server was so friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was also lovely.

Travelled from out of town and was recommended by a friend. Firstly the entrance is not super obvious which I thought was pretty cool, but has such a fun vibe inside and we checked out their rooftop patio which I LOVED. Love a good patio season but being on the roof makes it much more fun, but was very clean too and spacious. There are so many food options here too, it’s fantastic! 👏 Literally something for everyone. I’m usually used to having maybe one or two things on the menu I would like and honestly found it very hard to pick what I wanted. Our server was also very attentive and friendly, definitely enjoyed her service. If I’m ever in the area again would definitely go again.

We came from Halifax NS and visited here on our last night. I wish we'd come sooner I absolutely loved it. We ate on the patio roof and it was a vibe Great atmosphere, awesome staff, perfect tunes. The staff were really great about us having a toddler and were friendly to him. They have a kids menu. The food was so good. I had the steak salad and it was mouth watering. The dessert cheesecake was amazing. I really just enjoyed the vibe here more than anywhere else. Looking forward to stopping by again.

I am from out of town and made a reservation here to meet a group of friends. The service was really chill and very prompt - our food came out so quick (like within 10 mins of ordering) even though the restaurant was busy. I had a burger and it was delicious! Good place for a meet up and hang out.

My husband and I both had the clubhouse. I had the fries, he had the kettle chips. Both meals were really good. We contemplated on getting another meal to take out to have later for supper it was that good. The bun on the sandwich was toasted perfectly. The fries were seasoned really good; They were crispy on the outside but nice and soft on the inside. I read some reviews from other customers saying their carrot cake was really good so we tried a piece. My husband said it was so good he could’ve licked the plate LOL I would highly recommend! We will definitely be going back if we go to Fredericton again!

Seafood restaurant
Wolastoq Wharf is an upscale seafood restaurant located in Fredericton, offering a refined dining experience with a focus on fresh fish and seafood. The menu features a variety of seafood entrees, including whole lobster, seafood fettucine, and seafood risotto. The restaurant also serves dishes such as sesame-seared tuna with almond ginger rice and bok choy.
While visiting the area, I asked my hotel for a good seafood restaurant, and they recommended Wolastoq Wharf. I’m glad they did! I was seated right away, and my server was fantastic—friendly, helpful, and full of great recommendations. I started with the calamari and had the Lobster Haddock for my main course—both were absolutely delicious. Water and fresh bread were brought out as I arrived, which was a nice touch. The atmosphere is cozy but well laid out, with beautiful artwork, a bright and clean interior, and even a lovely patio space outside. The food was full of flavor, served in generous portions, and priced very reasonably. This restaurant truly exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended! I’d suggest making a reservation if you’re planning to go—it’s clearly a popular spot for good reason. UPDATE: I enjoyed it so much the first time and decided to come back for a second visit. The second time was even better! This is a MUST try restaurant when visiting the area.

It started slow. They sent me to a table on the deck as I had no reservation. Then they forgot me. They apologized, and it went uphill from there. They served bannook and molasses. Interesting start. I ordered a small ceasar as an app. Not bad, lots of bacon, but too much cheese for me. Then i ordered the lobster stuffed haddock. They hand roll this bad boy. Unfortunately, it came warm. I believe it would have enhanced the taste if it was hot. It looks great. I guess they saw my disappointment because they offered free carrot cake. I ordered the Wolastoq Amber beer. Lots of favor. Then they came with the bill. They removed the main and didn't add the carot cake. A little overkill could have done one or the other. It seems to be a popular place, not full but very close. So this level of activity may be stressing staff. Management may want to do an efficiency study as the overall product is excellent. It would be interesting to come back to find out if this was just a one-off.

Our service today started very, very slow. When we got seated, we were practically ignored for 15 minutes and didn't even get to talk to a server about ordering or any questions. Once we got our apps, I though things might start to turn around, but I was dead wrong. We ended up having to wait 1 and a half hours on the windy patio, and once again didn't see any staff whatsoever for the whole wait, which we felt was unreasonable. Finally, the food was only decent, with most items being over seasoned or somewhat bland. Overall, I would not recommend coming here, unless you have a lot time to burn on your hands. Infact, this experience derailed me and my family's night visiting the area, and we will not be coming back next time we are in Fredericton.

What a delicious meal at 540 Kitchen & Bar in Fredericton! I had the fish and chips, and it was absolutely perfect — crispy on the outside, flaky and tender inside. The dish came with a beautifully grilled lemon, fresh coleslaw, and golden fries. Paired with a cold IPA beer, it made for the perfect lunch. Great local food done right, on the nice street of Fredericton opposite Officers Square. Both inside and outside seating with very polite service. They have many gluten free options including buns and bread. The muscles were excellent, and so was the buratta for starters. The stilton burger was very tasty but ask for the patty to be done under medium, because they tend to over cook it. We booked in advance which was a great idea because when we left there was a line to wait.

On Friday, my friends and I had an absolutely unreal experience at 540 Kitchen & Bar in Fredericton, NB. First off, if you're going, do NOT miss the patio out back. It’s tucked away behind the building and you get to it through this little alley. It kind of feels like you're discovering a hidden gem. Super chill vibe, cozy but not cramped. Now, onto the food. There was a bit of a wait, yeah, but honestly? Worth every second. And they handled food allergies with real care, which is rare and refreshing. The kitchen even used a completely separate apparatus to cook the ribs to make sure there was no cross-contamination, massive respect for that. But the ribs… the ribs were the holy grail. I’m not exaggerating when I say they were some of the best things I’ve ever tasted in my life. The meat slid off the bone in this almost magical way, like it wanted to be eaten. Crispy on the edges, insanely flavorful, rich, savory, and perfectly seasoned. Just absolutely perfect ribs. I'm still thinking about them (And probably will be for a long time). The burger? Solid. Nothing wrong with it at all, but next to those ribs, it’s hard to compete. Fries were crispy and golden, and the aioli sauce they came with was top-tier: creamy, garlicky, and addictive. All in all, 540 Kitchen & Bar delivers in a big way. If you’re in Fredericton and even remotely into good food, you owe it to yourself to check this place out. Get the ribs. You’ll understand.

Fabulous summer evening on the rear deck. 🔥 Excellent wait staff, delicious pasta dishes and smiling full capacity tables. Did we mention the full moon? So close to the heartbeat of Fredericton. Doesn't get any better, Luigi! 🤭😉🌹 Sorry you missed it!! 🍝

Stopped in for takeout on our way back to Saint John, placed an order ahead of time to let them know when we would be in. After about 5-10 minutes of waiting our food was ready. Staff was pleasant and quite easy going. Unfortunately the food wasn’t fantastic, fries tasted old and were lukewarm. And my girlfriend’s steak was quite overcooked compared to the rare we had asked for. I could understand if we were behind our scheduled time but for us to have to wait and extra 10min and the food to still not be fresh was disappointing. Wouldn’t recommend this spot

Went for Dinner at 7pm on a Friday Night. I had booked a reservation which was good because it was quite busy and we saw a few groups leave due to wait. Definitely get a reservation if group is over 2 people. Food was very good. The Crab Cakes were full of flavour and the sauce was perfect. The Escargot was done perfectly though as always there is never enough bread. We also had the seafood pappardelle. It was excellent. The sauce was bright and vibrant, the seafood was done well. Only complaint is only 2 scallops but they tasted great none the less. Service: It was good for most part. It was busy but the server never filled out wine glasses, and also after our appetizers asked if we wanted dessert or coffee, when we said we would decide after the pasta she said "right pasta it's just being finished". We waited another 20-30min for it. Pretty sure she forgot to enter it. When it arrived she said the kitchen was backed up but others had gotten their food before us whom sat after. We aren't to upset since it was nice to not be rushed at a restaurant. The patio was nice to sit at, had a nice view of main park where they do the changing of the guard. That night it was the car show so we just people watched.

A couple of weeks ago, I had an excellent experience at 540 Downtown. We were two people and were served by Jamie, an exceptional professional — incredibly friendly, attentive, and dedicated to every detail. Her service was impeccable from start to finish: attentive to every look, every drink, and every part of the meal. She showed the same care not only with our table but with everyone around us. It was the first restaurant we visited in Fredericton, and it truly left a wonderful impression, setting the tone for how welcoming the city can be. Jamie was kind, engaging, and even shared a few great insights about Fredericton during our chat. The food was delicious — well-prepared, well-portioned, and perfectly aligned with the price. I’d also like to mention the bartender, whose name we unfortunately didn’t catch, but who was equally warm and welcoming, wishing us a great stay in the city. Even though it was near closing time, the whole team remained kind, professional, and welcoming. We left with a great impression and a memorable experience. I’ll definitely be coming back — they truly deserve recognition for their outstanding service and hospitality.

The Garrison Night Market is a must-visit event held every Thursday night from June to September on South Market Street in Fredericton. It features a variety of food, produce, and craft vendors, as well as live entertainment. The market offers a social environment where visitors can enjoy shopping, dining, and spending time with family and friends under the evening lights. Local artists and growers showcase their passion for their crafts at this bustling market.
Impressive, Clean, and Friendly Atmosphere! We happened to pass by Fredericton without realizing there was this flea market during our trip to NB & PEI in the summer of 2023. Loved the atmosphere (well-arranged stalls) with many kinds of items for sale. Ended up getting a few unique fruit wine bottles at reasonable prices. Everyone we encountered (vendors and general public alike) were super-friendly!

Lots of food options, couldn’t find halal options though. Vast market to have a nice evening. Would recommend getting your food before you roam around if you’re there in the last hour, most of the food was sold out in the last hour. Many cute stalls, i bought myself a 10$ bracelet and waffle on a stick, fun without burning a hole in your pocket. Theres music, place to sit and enjoy your time. You can also walk it down across the bridge, nice view

Blocking off venders, inconvenient for them. Why not just block the two enterance points, but they instead want to obstruct the venders. Venders use this place to move around and people sit here to eat, its bad for business as well. But people walk in here anyways, even the staff Do you want to show tourists the poor construction quality of the ruinous dump that Fredericton is? Also, the sign at the enterance of the market says no digs, but they allow dogs. Get your things straight! Most of the staff are nice, some are rude.

August 31, 2023 is the last Garrison Night Market for this year. During Summer it is lovely. I went on the last day of the Garrison Night Market. It is right across the River, so you can enjoy the Golden Hour from an Overpass, a bit crowded just before the weekend. The Ice Cream trucks run out of other flavours of Ice Cream, but not the Cinnamon one though! They have bowls made of waffles to Serve the ice, do not push too hard on that, I did, and Ice Cream was dripping out as a Broke a side. Just eat from the top.

Libraries
Nestled in the heart of Downtown Fredericton, the Fredericton Public Library is a delightful haven for book lovers and families alike. Recently renovated, this inviting space boasts an impressive collection of over 150,000 books, magazines, CDs, and DVDs. It’s not just about reading; the library hosts a plethora of engaging activities and events that cater to all ages.
I love this library. It may not be big in the grand scheme of things, but their extra programs and activities (happening again once we pass the COVID-19 crisis) are fantastic. Right along the Saint John River, it's usual seating area offers stunning view and brightens up the entire building. You can have conversations with people in other languages, they have tons of activities for children, and you can even rent musical instruments here. Prefer your content in a more visually stimulating manner? The have a graphic novel and a movie section too. They also have a computer room with WiFi. You could even spend a little time just trying to find all the beautiful pieces of art within the building. Again, this is once things get back to normal. Right now though, it feels very safe, the instructions are clearly given, and paths clearly marked for where to go. Really glad they've opened back up!

This is my refuge, my home. I always feel welcome and comfortable here. I am very very grateful to be among the books and readers.

The library itself is okay, but I got bed bug bite from the sofa. Definitely not properly cleaned, needs attention.
Nusrat J — Google review
It's a great place to visit. The kids section makes a safe space for kids to study and play. The most impressive thing about the library is the attitude of the staff - they all seem to love their job.
Saater A — Google review
Tons of books, eBooks, Videos/CDs to borrow and great place for adults as well as kids. Free WiFi is provided. Librarians are very nice. The glass wall on the second floor has awesome view to see the Saint John River.
Mike O — Google review
We almost exclusively go for the kids section of the library. All of the staff is so helpful and kind. They seem to genuinely enjoy their work. :) There's lots of instruments available to rent out as well as seasonal activities such as skateboards and snowshoes. Decent amount of parking too.

I haven't been in for absolutely ages. The layout seems more open and as usual a good selection of books. They helped me get Libby loaded do I can download books and audio books which is great. It was lovely to see so many children in there as well.

A+ library. It's two floors (with elevator), large but well organized space. Honestly did not expect it to be as nice as it was. Very clean. Lots of sitting areas, including a family den type room Computer lab, laptop cubicles, access to printers Music instruments Filing system seemed on point. Very accepting and helpful staff. 👍

Restaurant
Located in the heart of Fredericton, The Palate offers an upscale dining experience with a diverse menu and global wine selection. The restaurant features an open kitchen where enthusiastic chefs prepare interesting flavor combinations such as lemon meringue salmon and New York-style steak with a sriracha caramel glaze.
I've lived in Fredericton for 5 years and have passed by this restaurant on several occasions without ever having stopped in. My wife finally convinced me to make a reservation for my birthday dinner with friends and I must say WOW, I was impressed. Don't be fooled by its demure setting, this restaurant serves up some visually appealing, well crafted and delicious dishes. We started with a few appetizers including a shredded duck tostada as well as a sliced and braised pork belly...so tasty. My wife ordered the steak and potatoes while I selected to Coq au Vin. Might I say this may well be the best restaurant, fine dining at least. that I have yet to try in Fredericton. Its obvious that the dishes were carefully prepared with both thought and care and the final delivery was visually stunning. Great food, great menu, fantastic service...Strongly recommend! PS - Don't skip on the desserts! My English Sticky Toffee was delish!

The food here was great a lot better than I was expecting to be honest. I had a Mitaki mushroom dish that was delicious. The only thing I found was that there wasn’t enough of it with it being a strictly vegetarian dish. It just felt like it needed more. I tried my friends fish as well and it was fantastic. Everything was plated so beautifully. The service was great. I did find that the interior was A little plain. They could use some better decor to match the beautiful plating.
Danielle C — Google review
The food taste was very good. I was not expecting the fry vegetables be like this juicy but the taste was very good. The salmon was very delicious and we also got the steak as well which was good. The atmosphere was very good and quiet and the waiters very friendly!! If i had an option of 4/5 star i will give that as well got our food a little late and some families got their earlier although came after us. I will go there again.
Mi J — Google review
My second time here and it does not disappoint! Born in Freddy, but live in the U.S. (CA & Florida), and visiting family. I LOVE coming to the Palate on my trips here. But tonight was exceptional for two reasons— first and foremost, excellent service from Sophie!!! Super attentive, helpful, friendly. And second - pork belly app was DEVINE! (Thanks Sophie for nudging me in this direction!). Also try the Auchentoshan Scotch - nicely sippable (spelling! Ha!). Thank you The Palate!

All the food we had was well presented and tasted fantastic. The restaurant decor is a bit dark and the waiter service was not very attentive. Overall excellent value for money .

We booked this restaurant last minute while visiting Fredericton for work with a group of about a dozen people. Based on the Google reviews, we decided to give it a try—and I can confirm it truly deserves 5 stars! The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the presentation was impressive. Definitely a place I’d come back to and highly recommend.

I have been here on Friday night lately for a dinner with my supervisor and my friends at around 6 pm. My suggestion is that you should make a reservation before hand as the place can get very busy on Friday. For lunch, I found it is quite busy from Monday to Friday as well. You may need to book a table ahead of time to avoid disappointment. The food is good. They always have specials of the day, which is not on the menu. Ask for them, most of the time they are surprisingly very good. The price is good for the food quality and services. The parking can be tricky during during the day for Monday to Friday as you have to pay for street parking. If they are full, you have to drive one more block and use the city’s parking lot (paid) and walk back to the restaurant. The street parking is free after 5 pm from Monday to Friday and all day on the weekends and holidays.

Thursday night reservation for 8 and table was ready for us when we arrived. Restaurant was busy on this evening with a nice background atmosphere. Server was Halley and service was great. Halley and kitchen staff made this a very memorable meal experience. I had the Schnitzel and it was excellent. Couple others had the Schnitzel and mentioned how good it was as well. There were a few versions of the stir-fry ordered and very positive comments on those plates. And BBQ chicken generated a thumbs up. And great whiskey sours from the bar. Really enjoyed the evening.

Bill Thorpe Walking Bridge

Bridge
The Bill Thorpe Walking Bridge, originally a railway bridge dating back to 1938, now serves as a vital link connecting the north and south sides of Fredericton over the Saint John River. It offers a picturesque riverside walk with stunning urban views along its 75-mile trail system. The bridge's attractive metal structure and accessibility make it a must-see for tourists, providing an ideal spot for taking in breathtaking sunset views.
It was a beautiful sunny day when we walked over the walking bridge from the North Side. People were out with families, couples, singles, on bikes and electric scooters. Very enjoyable walk being on-top of bridge looking out over the river and seeing downtown Fredericton from this viewpoint.
Lynda B — Google review
Nice walking bridge. There's a lot of free parking near the northside. Southside the parking is typically free after 5pm or weekends. It will get crowded during midday but its not too bad.
Jaskarn B — Google review
Go up the bridge from the art gallery on the south bank, and walk over to the famous brewery. This bridge is very beautiful and provides convenience, which is very good.
Anqi Y — Google review
Great place for a leisurely walk, especially where seniors are concerned. The walking bridge is handicap accessible with a completely flat surface. Be aware when walking the bridge that it is also used by those on regular bicycles & motorized bicycles. That being said, our experience was pleasant, both with those on bicycles & walkers alike. There are many great walking trails in & around Fredericton.
Donna D — Google review
Little windy going one way, but coming back was nice.... Lovely walk except for the bugs 😂
Kimberley C — Google review
Great public area for a walk and beautiful scenery. Fredericton has one of the best walking trails around with some great resting areas Including on the bridge and porta pottys on either end of the bridge to. With pubs and restaurants on both sides, plus museums and theatres, it's a great area for a walk and a day trip with the family.
Doug C — Google review
This was an awesome daywalk across the bridge and back, cool view and history.

Large pedestrian/bike bridge that served a previous life as a rail bridge. Well maintained and very safe resulting in its popularity in joining the two halves of the city. Great fun to walk. Well done Fredericton!

Breakfast restaurant
Cora Breakfast and Lunch is a popular spot in downtown Fredericton, known for its amazing breakfast and brunch offerings. The restaurant serves delicious crepes, French toast, fruit platters, and egg dishes that are sure to satisfy your cravings. Additionally, they offer lunch with daily soup and dessert on weekdays. While the food quality meets expectations, it's advisable to avoid peak hours as wait times can be long. Free roadside parking is available on weekends.
We like to go to Cora's as their food is awesome. Always fresh and tasty. We never had a bad meal there. Portion size is good. Worth the money we are paying for. Customer service can be good or bad depending on how busy they are. Last time Pascalle served us and she was fantastic. Very cheerful and my kid too liked her as well. There were days that we felt like we were neglected. But then I realized that they are so busy. Something about the place, I think the place is not very spacious. Accessibility is less. Doors are small and inside feels very cramped.

Just visited Cora today, and it’s such a family-friendly restaurant! We went around 1:45 pm, and it wasn't busy at all, so we got seated right away. We ordered a cappuccino (8/10) and a mochaccino (8.5/10). I also tried the breakfast burrito with a buckwheat wrap instead of egg, and I’d rate it a 6/10. The breakfast poutine was solid at 8/10. I customized a gluten-free sandwich with just veggies, and it was delicious—definitely a 9/10! The potatoes that came with it seemed baked but were missing seasoning, so I’d give them a 5.5/10. Overall, a good experience!
Simranjeet K — Google review
Great place for breakfast. Customizable breakfast menu. Quick and great service. Very helpful staff.
Roopali T — Google review
Waste of money and time! The portion sizes are incredibly small, 2 eggs looked like 1, and the bacon was gross. The pastry was raw which was disappointing. And to top it off the “home fries” looked like apple slices, I don’t think they even tried to cook them. Shameful.
Justin T — Google review
This is the most Amazing place where you stop by with your friends, family, kids or whoever you want to go out with. The food is so satisfying and fulfilling that you will never regret it. I ate an omelette with spinach and onions and goat cheese with fresh fruits and toast. It is called Gigi on the menu. Nikki is the most amazing server. Nikki is so nice to everyone around and cares about the customers she is attending to. I can’t wait to come back. You will not leave this place disappointed. Trust me!!

I ordered online via Uber Eats. A tuna melt sandwich, which comes with potatoes. The potatoes portion was little, but that's OK. Some were burnt, and at the same time uncooked...👇🏽🥺

During a recent travel my lovely wife Pat and I stopped in for a lovely breakfast at this reputable restaurant. Coffee was a delight for both of us and the water was a convenient backup. Knowing what I wanted, I skipped going through their large menu and simply let our waitress know once Pat had decided what she wanted. Pat and I enjoyed enjoyed catching on family news while accessing their free wifi service. Pat enjoyed her pancakes with humongous amounts of fresh blueberries. Be sure to ask up front if not wanting ones pancakes sugar coated. Not aware of this, Pat had to ask the server for pancakes without powered sugar on top. We both felt bad but we both knew Pat would have problems if she consumed such a large amount of sugar in one setting. Overall delicious dining at this fine restaurant. Hostess was outgoing and the waitress serving us was well-spoken and intuitive. Never have we had a problem eating at a Cora's to date.
Tony B — Google review
The service was standard, our order was taken in a fashionable manner and the we were even greeted with a welcoming and friendly staff. Overall service lived up to its reputation, the food however was a bit of a different story. Might just have been a one off, but I ordered salmon bennys and I got egg shells in my eggs and a single bone in my smoked salmon. My friends coffee also tasted slightly burnt and old as well. Mind you they were still very nice and very friendly.

Definitely worth the stop, had a day trip too Fredericton and was looking for a dog friendly indoor space with the cold weather. Picaroons did the trick for us, staff were friendly and inviting and place had a very nice overall vibe. The nachos were a very good choice and would highly recommend

I like the ambiance of the place and outdoor sitting. Wasn't a fan of the alcohol. tried vodka cherry which was okay, and the dooryard which was a bit too dry for me. I wanted to try the raddler but they were sold out. Also be prepared to drop at least $20 for a meal. There is clean washrooms on site. Parking is a headache due to its popularity so be warned that you may need to street park.
Jaskarn B — Google review
Went to Picaroons on a cool and sunny Friday afternoon. I had an excellent stout, and sat outside. The beer garden was pretty full, but there was plenty of seating available both at tables and lounge chairs. Lots of folks stopped off after walking or biking the adjacent trails. Parking was limited, but parking nearby at the riverside park parking lot was easy.
David B — Google review
The best Dog friendly bar that have been to. Great atmosphere. There was live music that was a bit loud to have a conversation across from the table. I found myself constantly leaning over to hear and talk. Large selection of beers on tap. The bar service was ok, the bartenders seem to talk to each other more then watch for empty glasses. That is why I gave 4/5.

Customers have praised the gluten-free options available, with some even saying they couldn't tell that their pasta was gluten-free because it tasted so good. The carbonara linguini and the Brewbakers Spicy Pie are particularly recommended dishes.
One of the best meals I've had! The carbonara linguini is amazing. The bread came with butter molasses which I've never tried before, what a delicious surprise that was. Finished off with the tasty apple turnover. Yummm

Excellent atmosphere and staff. I had the Brewbakers Spicy Pie which was a Korean flatbread pizza. The kimchi was spicy and perfect and the pork loin was a great addition to the overall dish.

Top dining in Fredericton. Excellent service and perfectly prepared dishes. Flavours are excellently matched and presented. Lamb, and duck are on the menu. Good selection of wines and liqueurs, pairing is offered. The restaurant is up a steep flight of stairs, and the restaurant is lighting is dim. Street parking Always and extra star for crème brule. 🌟

I'm so glad we came here for lunch while we were in Fredericton. This is one of the best meals of our trip. The mussels we started with were amazing! They have many gluten free options, I wouldn't have guessed the pasta I had was gluten free, it was that good!! I asked about the spiciness level of the carbonara sauce and the waitress had them tone it back for me, it was perfect. We packed up half of our entrees to go so we would have room for dessert, I'm so glad we did because the creme brulee was perfection.

Very nice place! Good cocktails and fantastic food and service. The mushroom toast was to die for; highly recommend it! Had the truffled pasta and it did not disappoint; pasta is freshly made and tons of mushrooms. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options as well.

Absolutely amazing. 5/5 star, 0 complaints. Food & service was over the top! Amanda was our server and I would definitely ask for her if I come again, 100% recommended. Wagyu beef was sold out though unfortunately, however, that must say something!
Logan R — Google review
I had to say that the food there is amazing we took the Canadian Wagyu steak to share and a bowl of carbonara on the side The steak is expensive but it's Worth it. You have to try it at least once, it's a lot better than filet mignon on the taste and on texture. Service is very good. From the bar with the best bartender or on the floor with a lot of waiter, you won't be disappointed. And yes the picture represent how they serve it to you I just take some pieces on the side but it's pretty much how you'll receive your steak
