If you're on the hunt for a delightful spot to indulge your sweet tooth while sipping on a perfect cup of coffee, look no further than Chess Piece Pâtisserie & Cafe. This charming establishment, celebrated as one of Canada's top bakeries by Huffington Post, is nestled conveniently on Queen Street next to City Hall. With its pastel decor and inviting atmosphere, it's an ideal place for both locals and visitors alike.
The best place we've visited in our visit in Fredericton. The girl in the cash greeted us the moment we got in, and when we weren't sure what to get, she gave us the rundown on what pastry is always available and what seasonal what's always bought, etc. She saw me glancing at the booth table, and she cleaned it even before I could even ask. The pastry may be a bit pricy, but it's worth the money. The coffee is good too. It's just perfect and enjoyed our visit. Would visit again if we ever come back to Fredericton.

I visited twice during recent trip to Fredericton. I was so impressed with the level of service! The staff were very helpful and truly care about the business and customers. My tomato sandwich was delicious as we're the cakes I bought.
S L — Google review
We visited Fredericton and came here for breakfast. We had chicken sandwich and an Almond croissant, a cup of americano and a cup of house blend coffee. The pastries are tasty, coffee smells great and has enough caffeine that makes me more energetic. The city view from the shop’s window was beautiful. The service was great and friendly. I would recommend this place.

Quick Update: Just had to say, I had one of the most decadent and delicious chocolate cronuts here today, the baked goods and everything else never fails to impress. Original: Great atmosphere and good macarons. Will be back to try more of their desserts I have since been back many times. Their desserts are spectacular, their art and outdoor deck offer a great place to sit out in the sun during summer and the warm glow inside offers a cozy spot during the winter. Couple this with their new Chess Piece Market next door and you could spend and entire morning and lunch times here.
Andrew B — Google review
All of the staff are accomodating. They make the atmosphere so comfortable. The front staff was truly amazing, and their barista is well experienced. The desserts and the drinks were exemplary and the nice ambiance too!
Ma. R — Google review
We decided to have lunch at the airport location after seeing on the website that it was a French Pâtisserie. We went to the one on the Departure side, and were very disappointed. The display were not labelled well, and the server was not very helpful. We asked if she could make an iced coffee with caramel, and she proceeded to put the caramel on the bottom of the cup, add the ice, and then the coffee, so the caramel was solidified at the bottom of the cup, and the coffee tasted like it had been sitting all day. There was no tomato soup, so we got veggies, but they were dry and tasteless, and dated for 3 days before. If you are thinking of eating at the Fredericton Airport location, think again.
Annette L — Google review
Very nice cafe with warm and welcoming vibe. Staff here is very helpful and nice. They literally care about their customer and try to participate in a conversation if you want or start one. The lady in the front also helped me choose for what i want with my drink as it was my first time here. Definitely recommend it to everyone and will come back for sure again
S S — Google review
I was lucky to find this little gem with exceptional coffee and delicious savory scones with mushrooms and cheese. Very few bakeries offer savory pastries; most only have sweet pastries.

Tim Hortons, a renowned Canadian chain known for its premium-blend coffee and delectable light fare, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches, offers an unforgettable culinary experience. Their walnut crunch is reminiscent of the classic version from Tim Hortons’ heyday and has been hailed as the best thing ever tasted. The coffee and other treats on offer are equally delightful. Moreover, this particular branch boasts a massive and aesthetically pleasing space that manages to stay remarkably clean despite its size and bustling activity.
My brother and I dined in for the first time since the renovation, and it was a great experience! They had the donut I wanted and my latte was very good. The service was excellent and they did an amazing job on the renovations. My favourite part of the renovation is the Canada geese wallpaper!

Had a great experience at this branch! Sudash greeted me with a warm smile and delivered excellent customer service. Really appreciated the friendly vibe—thanks, man! Looking forward to coming back again soon
Khurram K — Google review
I had a very disappointing experience here on July 8 around 8:30 PM. I ordered a non-spicy chicken roll, but was given a spicy one instead. When I brought this to the attention of the staff member who took my order, I was shocked by how rude and unprofessional his response was. Instead of simply acknowledging the mistake, he sarcastically said, “Then why did you bite it?” His behavior was extremely disrespectful and not at all appropriate for customer service. I didn’t catch his name, but he was a man wearing glasses, possibly of Indian descent.(I mention this only to help identify the individual.) On top of that, I was trying to use a special offer I had in the app, which included a discount, but he didn’t apply it properly. It seemed like he didn’t know how to handle it at all, which added to the frustration. I reported the incident to the manager on site, but I don’t know if any action was taken. Sadly, the way I was treated has left a very negative impression. I hope management seriously addresses this kind of behavior and ensures staff are properly trained.

The woman usually doing drive through window, around 635 am. Get her out of there and put her in the back. Puts no effort to stick her wrist out the window for people to reach out of the car to pay the debit machine. At least in the back it's all wrists so she can just put no effort reaching for bagels.
Robert H — Google review
Prospect street Fredericton: ever since the renovations, service has been terrible. It's not the staff fault, it's the way it is set up. Every order from walk ins, delivery & kiosk and in the same 6x6 space. There is little room to stand to wait foe your order without being in someone's way. Suggestion: have one line foe drinks only - that would alleviate some of the crowding. I have little hope that things will change even after this review. I have limited my time at this Tim's to once a week as opposed to 5.
Kay M — Google review
Make sure you have two hours if you come to this place because the service is terribly slow and if you try to order ahead via mobile app, they will have most of items such as chicken, marked out of stock so you will not be able to order ahead. Hope this helps you save the time waste and disappointment.
Hardeep S — Google review
I had a lovely experience at this cafe .The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, The drinks were delicious, and the food was freshly made and well-presented. I also loved the Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to! Highly recommended! 🌿☕✨
The N — Google review
Everything this lady works. She gives me a hard time. If I ask a question to make sure my order is right. Just for example. But it happens eveytime she works. I hate coming here and I get nervous going through the drive thru if I might have to interact with her. I work in customer service and this is so sad. She's the older lady that works weekday mornings drive thru window.

Nestled in the heart of Fredericton, The Rocky Lemon Bakery & Cafe is a charming vintage-inspired spot that beckons dessert lovers and foodies alike. This delightful bakery is celebrated for its exquisite selection of European cakes and pastries, with a standout being their unique Russian cake. The cozy ambiance makes it an inviting place to unwind while enjoying freshly baked treats like scones, cookies, and pop tarts. For those seeking something savory, the charcuterie boards are a must-try!
If you're looking for a warm, cozy, and delicious local bakery/cafe to make your regular go-to spot, stop looking because this. Is. It. My friend and I stopped by yesterday to get a bite to eat, and we were instantly in love with the atmosphere of the Rocky Lemon. The staff were so kind and took the time to answer all our questions about the delicious food and drink options. We decided to sit in by the window to soak up the experience, and it was honestly so wonderful. I had a berry scone and a lemonade with homemade strawberry syrup, and my friend had a caramel butterscotch square with Icing. They were delicious. I, for one, will definitely be going back, and I invite you to as well ❤️

Ah! I just loved this little spot. I came because my dog's name is Lemon, and we're doing a trip from ON to NS, just the 2 of us. I also love coffee shops... so when I saw this place on my route, I had to stop in. They did not disappoint. Very friendly. Breakfast sandwich, baked treats, and my matcha latte were all fantastic. And I love my Lemon sticker. Nice way to start my rainy drive.

The Rocky Lemon catered our wedding this May and were spectacular! The food was delivered timely, was tasty, and beautifully displayed. Nada is a delight to deal with and you can tell she & her staff put so much care into their culinary craft. Communication over email with Nada was clear and easy, being mindful that they are a small business and admin is handled by one person. I emailed early and often and had no problems! It was important to us to a support local business and they met and surpassed our expectations!

This is the best coffee shop I’ve tried in Fredericton so far! Their baked goods were incredibly fresh, and the tea I ordered was delicious. The staff was warm and welcoming, making the experience even better. I truly enjoyed my visit and highly recommend this place!

easy to miss but definitely a must visit if you’re in the oromocto area. lovely cafe with an amazing selection of baked goods and beverages. it seemed like almost everything possible was homemade which is lovely. the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. will be returning

This was the first time I had been to the Rocky Lemon but it was such a pleasant experience! My girlfriend ordered the grilled cheese, and I got the schnitzel sandwich. Both were extremely tasty, and everything we had was made in house down to the lemonades. My girlfriend also got a free drink because the owner decided to give her the last bit of the iced tea. The food was out in less than 10 minutes which I found kind of unbelievable. Service was exceptional, was greeted with friendly smiles and was catered too very well. We also got some sweets which I have yet to try while writing this review but I have high hopes! I could go on and on about how great this spot is but you’ll have to come check it out yourself. Lots of love, 10/10 will be back again

Great place. Cute cafe with amazing food and coffees. Very friendly staff and great service. The address of the cafe is 1835 Lincoln street sometimes it shows on Mackenzie street for some people. I tried their Caramel Latte - it was delicious. And for food we tried their spinach and cheese pita and I definitely recommend that dish. They have great wifi. You can work from here too. Thank you so much for such a great experience Delicious breakfast sandwich and brownie poptart. And my friend tried their Macha and she loves it.
Roopali T — Google review
HIGHLY recommend The Rocky Lemon Bakery & Cafe! Aside from the baked goodies, I just ordered a few of the charcuterie boards for an event. They were so beautifully prepared and delicious! The boards also came with the crackers on the side allowing for way more meats/cheese/fruit etc on the boards. I have also been there for lunch and it too was amazing! If you have not tried this spot you need to go!

The Fredericton Boyce Farmers Market is a beloved Saturday morning tradition in the city, drawing locals and tourists alike to its bustling atmosphere. With over 200 local suppliers offering a wide array of products, visitors can explore everything from fresh produce and meats to homemade jams, artisan chocolates, and specialty coffees. The market also features ethnic delicacies like Chinese buns and Lebanese stuffed grape leaves.
Some places accept credit or e transfer but a majority will usually take cash. A majority of food will be $3+ with pastries usually around the $5+ mark. You'll find some crazy food and trinkets here such as an oreo pizza slice, mushroom and brie croissant, caramel pecan cinnamon roll, etc. If you're from the westcoast, they have a donair sandwich to try which is only seen on the eastcoast (same with garlic fingers). Parking lot gets full really quickly and is cramped, I would suggest street parking which will be free since its a saturdat
Jaskarn B — Google review
It's not as large as expected, but there are still a lot of people. It's very considerate. There is a parking lot next to it. However, when there are many people every Saturday, I'm afraid there will be not enough parking spaces.

What a wonderful stop when in Fredericton. It has everything. I got a coffee, chimney cake and samosas for the drive to Quebec plus natural tick repellent for Nova Scotia! Could have spent a lot longer there!
Lesley C — Google review
I adore this farmers market. I make sure to visit every time I’m in the area. Truly such a great place and vibe. So many vendors of all varieties and truly kind people throughout.
Nyah C — Google review
A solid place to spend a Saturday morning. It’s busy, but that’s part of the appeal—lots of local vendors, fresh produce, baked goods and handmade items. Best to go early—things do sell out and it gets crowded quickly. A true Fredericton staple.
Dr. D — Google review
7am market opens. 7am parking only 3 blocks away. Understand that farmers may need to park close to refill stock, but no need for trucks with empty trailers taking Prime parking away from potential shoppers. Called the market got the ole fashion customer service "I'm so sorry but vendors have to park there. Nothing I can do." I worked in a different farmers market for our family farm. Every vender taking up a prime parking spot or two hurts the whole market. Expect hard to find parking by 10am easy but at 7am should be in and out like a bunny. I won't be giving this market another chance.
Jason S — Google review
I really love going to this market, it’s a staple of Saturday’s mornings/before noon! They have everything from farm produce to actual pizza made in a fire oven and more! It’s the best market so far in my life and was the first! Fredericton was my place when I was a toddler because of some stuff happened in my life and now as an adult, I still love going to Fredericton because of its proximity for stores and restaurants! The inside may need some renovations like Led lights and the parking lots is always full there on Saturdays! I recommend this place! ☺️
Jérémy G — Google review
I am have been going to the market since I was young, so many years! It is a go to stop for grocery items like eggs, Christmas gifts, lunch and unique items can be found any Saturday. A must see for a tourist and locals alike! Great atmosphere and people. Eat, socialize, shop and experience.

The cozy and charming atmosphere adds to the overall experience, making it a favorite spot for many visitors.
I was in Freddy for two days and originally only planned to have breakfast here once, but the pistachio croissant I had on the first day was just too heavenly good. As a result, I decided to go back the next day. This time, I ordered the Basque cheesecake also, and it was superb.🤌🏻 If you are in town, I highly recommend stopping by for their pastries and coffees. I will definitely come back!!!

This is the best bakery ever in Canada! I tried a bunch of different things and every single one was amazing, but the pecan madeleine was just AMAIZING. The sweetness was perfectly balanced. I can’t believe a place like this exists in New Brunswick. I drove 1hr 30min to get this bakery, and it was absolutely worth it!
Gowoon M — Google review
WOWOWOWOWOWOW! Absolutely stunning cafe with very unique pastries and lattes that make the trip worth it. The bombolone is the star of the show. It's like a custard filled donut and its so friggin good, I was left wanting more after I finished it. The levan cookie is also amazing. It's a soft cookie with flavourful walnuts and chocolate chips. The potato and bacon focaccia was delicious and crunchy. I also appreciated that they don't heat it to the point where I have to wait for it too cool down. It came to my table warm and I could eat right away. Lastly, the lavender coffee. Delicious. I normally have to add extra sugar to my coffee because I have a sweet tooth but their ratio was quite nice. Strong and flavourful coffee with the uniqueness of the lavender. I also love the latte art heart design that they do just to give it that je ne sais quoi. In terms of pricing, while it is on the higher side, I feel because the options are quite unique to find, it is a bang for your buck when you look at it from that perspective. All in all I would consider this a lovely hidden gem in Fredericton. Makes for a great date spot, or to catch up friends or just to chillax and have a coffee to yourself. Highly recommend! Has a unisex washroom on site. A/C is quite cold in the summer so bring a light jacket. The turn is also hard to see, google maps will make it look like a street rather than a plaza you enter.
Jaskarn B — Google review
A pretty nice little coffee shop 🥰 would be a great place to hang out with friends or something (fyi quite hard to find a turn if you are going from a HWY… ) Anyway , I loved the coffee and the atmosphere .. ( AC is very strong so grab a jacket) , the girls were super nice and smiley. The only thing the bakery was not fresh and I got a couple of pimples after 😬

Omg this place is amazing. Best coffee on my holiday in Canada so far. And the pastries are DIVINE! Tried the lemon meringue and bombolone. I loved them. 🤍

cute little space! great coffee shop to catch up with friends and hang out with family. plenty of seats available and when the weather is nice, they also have a patio. passed by on our way to St John and I’m glad we did! had the s’mores and chocolate chip cookies which were delicious!! the matcha cookie (although the lady at the cash said that it’s more of a scone?) was divine!!! the macadamia nuts and white chocolate chunks complemented the matcha well and the raspberry jam on top added a nice balance to all the flavours. didn’t get to try their drinks however as i was extremely caffeinated already

Jenna's Nut-Free Dessertery is a hidden gem in Fredericton, offering a completely nut-free dining experience. Jenna, the owner, developed an adult-onset nut allergy and decided to create a restaurant that caters to individuals with similar dietary restrictions. The menu features from-scratch dishes made with locally sourced ingredients and incorporates elements from Indigenous culture such as bannock and wild rice soup. The restaurant also operates a bakery that offers an array of pastries and desserts.
My buddy convinced me to come and try this place out, and I'm so glad he did. The food was excellent, and the service was second to none. They have a short but sweet menu with items for one and all. The price was fair for the portion size and my favorite part it's a very quiet spot that feels like home. Bannock is on the menu and it is delicious with every meal.
Brenden B — Google review
Such a tasty experience. The food was excellent. The Benedict had perfectly cooked eggs and the Bannock was the perfect texture. I had the smoked brisket which was a great twist. The fries for the pouting had that wonderful crisp with melty (but not too melty) cheese curds. Yum. Will be heading back next time I'm in town.
Gwen B — Google review
Plenty of reviewers have called Jenna’s a hidden gem, and for once, the cliché fits. Tucked just slightly off the beaten path, this bright and welcoming spot is well worth the detour; for breakfast, lunch, and especially if you’re among the many who’ve struggled to find top-tier, nut-free baked goods without the premium price tag. Founded by Jenna, a passionate Indigenous woman with a life-threatening nut allergy, the restaurant began as a specialty bakery. It has since blossomed into one of the region’s best-kept culinary secrets. The food is thoughtful, generous, and consistently excellent, crafted with care and served with pride. The space itself is sunny and inviting, adorned with lovely Indigenous artwork that makes the dining experience feel both grounded and personal. And Jenna? She’s a breath of fresh air; warm, present, and clearly driven by a love for her craft and community. Breakfast at Jenna’s is a must. Whether you lean toward a classic Eggs Benedict or a hearty breakfast poutine, the hollandaise sauce alone is worth the visit (it’s hands-down the best this side of the Atlantic). Pair that with handmade bannock breakfast sandwiches (yes, bannock, milled and mixed in-house), and you’ve got a morning that’ll ruin all others for you. Lunch is not to be missed either. Think crisp, flavourful paninis that stay on your mind long after the last bite. And the coffee? Roasted in-house and brewed with precision. It’s no exaggeration to say it’s one of the best cups you’ll find anywhere. Adding even more depth to the experience is Jenna’s Indigenous meal series—an ongoing celebration of tradition and storytelling through food. Dishes like Three Sisters Soup, Western Canadian bison, Atlantic salmon, and rich, unforgettable desserts bring people together over a shared appreciation of culture and cuisine. Keep an eye on Jenna’s social media for these special events—they’re not to be missed. Jenna’s is the kind of place you want to tell everyone about... but also kind of want to keep to yourself. A restaurant with heart, heritage, and hands-down the best breakfast in town.
Cy P — Google review
I recently hosted a breakfast meeting and placed a large order for pick-up and it did not disappoint! The meeting was only 10 minutes away so the food was still nice and hot when it arrived! I couldn’t believe how gorgeous the dishes looked and should have taken more pictures of the other dishes besides mine. The presentation was beautifully done. Eggs Benny is my fave and Jenna’s hollandaise is one of the best I’ve tried! An incredible local business to support! ✨
Signe W — Google review
I'd heard about Jenna's for a while but had never been. HOLY RUN DON'T WALK!! It is so rare to find the combination of excellent service, quality, flavour, portion size, and price. I spent many years in the restaurant business and I was seriously blown away! I got the savoury French toast with smoked brisket, and my friend got the smoked brisket Eggs Benedict. Both were perfection. We also got some fresh made doughnuts with real maple syrup glaze and chocolate ganache to bring home, and they were phenomenal too. Jenna and her staff clearly know what they are doing. Do yourself a favour and just go!
Bay B — Google review
The food, price and service are unbeatable at this hidden gem. My table had the bannock breakfast sandwich, full breakfast and smoked brisket- everything was amazing! Highly recommend!

Amazing service, portions, and flavour. Jenna’s bannock is amazing! 10/10 would recommend. If I was local, id be here all the time

Requested custom made cupcakes for a gender reveal party, they were extremely plain with barely any decorative sprinkles etc... received multiple complaints that they were very dry. I walked in here and the aroma of the bakery hit me instantly. It smelt like something out of a Disney film. I tried the Korean donuts, chocolate chip cookie, and rolo cheesecake and it was all absolutely fantastic. I wish I would have taken pictures but I was too busy enjoying them. I can’t wait to return here.

Lovely lemonade bucket only for 6 dollars! Butter cream doughnuts pretty good! 💜

Nice ambiance for a donut shop. Their donuts are to die for! Glad we have this in NB and hoping they will also add another branch in Moncton.

This was an amazing find. The filled Korean donuts alone are worth it. Even on the busiest day of the week service was quick and simple. Donuts were fresh even in the afternoon.
Daniel C — Google review
Came into the store and they were super busy. That being said I didn't have to wait long to be served and well taken care of. There were so many options to choose from, but I was on a mission to snag some chocolate toasted coconut cream doughnuts that I was able to special order with ease. During my mission, I was sidetracked by the delicious looking cheese cakes they had. I got a piece of each of my favorites. I will definitely be back because I need to try more . Everything we got was not just amazing it was an experience. The service, hospitality, and goodies are second to none. I highly recommend Buttercream Dreams.

I haven’t had an amazing and delicious donut before. I am not a dessert person, but the Korean milk cream donuts are so unreal…the best donuts ever.💯💯💯💯I would like to try different flavour next time.

A m a z i n g !! We tried the coconut cream pie korean donuts. Cheesecake 2 different but fabulous kinds and sandwiches for the drive home to McAdam. The line was inside only but moved quickly enough. Well worth my $$ spent supporting locally fabulous treat makers making yummy treats for our bellies! Thank you! 💜❤️🩷🌟

Nestled in the heart of Fredericton, The Happy Baker is a charming European-style bakery that has been delighting locals and visitors alike since 2005. Known for its impressive array of freshly baked breads, pastries, sandwiches, and cakes, this cozy spot emphasizes quality by using only the finest ingredients in their artisan creations.
I hired them to cater a reception. They were lovely and efficient to work with, the food was wonderful at a very fair price. I would certainly hire them again. We did have one guest out of about 150 people complain that the charcuterie board was "too fancy" - so I guess you can't please quite everyone.

I purchased a carrot cake here for my husband’s birthday. He didn’t want a gift so I figured I’d at least get him a “good cake” from a “real bakery” so I was willing to pay the whopping $45 dollars they charge for it expecting it to be stellar. I ordered it ahead of time and picked it up promptly on his birthday and served it that same night. What a disappointment. The cake was terrible. It was dry as sand, stale tasting, with a minuscule layer of what was supposed to be cream cheese frosting inside and out. If there was any cream cheese in that frosting I couldn’t taste it at all. My husband was polite about it but I could tell that he was disappointed. I felt like I ruined his birthday with this awful cake. It was the only thing he had to celebrate his birthday. I will never buy a cake from the happy baker again and I doubt I’ll ever chance buying anything else either.

They have so many baked goods! Cookies, cakes, blondies, brownies, pies (savory or sweet), breads, pastries, sticky buns, sandwiches and even an ice cream stand (gelato option too)! They have many flavours for ice cream and gelato. You can opt to make an ice cream sandwich in between two cookies (choose your cookies and your ice cream flavour). We didn't like it much as the cookies were rock hard and it was not convenient to eat it as a sandwich (ice cream was good though). We also tried the sticky bun (with maple glaze I believe), which was very good. Will return to try some of their other goodies. Update: Their muffins are very dense and moist. Not overly sweet like at Tim's. You can tell it's homemade. Their soft cookies are good!

The Happy Baker is a cozy, flavor-packed bakery that delivers comfort and quality in every bite. Their breakfast sandwiches are the star of the show—especially the BOMB (Back Off My Bacon) sandwich, which lives up to its name with crispy bacon, fluffy eggs, and melty cheese layered between fresh bread. It’s the kind of sandwich that hits the spot morning, noon, or night. If you’re a bread lover, don’t leave without grabbing a loaf of their sourdough. It’s perfectly crusty on the outside, soft and tangy inside—a must-buy staple that elevates any meal. The sourdough twist cheese bread is another treat, slightly salty but still incredibly tasty, especially when warmed up. Dessert lovers will be thrilled with the selection. From rich peanut butter balls to decadent pumpkin pie squares and creamy coconut cream squares, there’s something to satisfy every sweet tooth. Each treat feels homemade and indulgent, perfect for sharing—or keeping all to yourself. The Happy Baker combines friendly service with a menu that’s both comforting and crave-worthy. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or stocking up on baked goods, this spot is a delicious destination that never disappoints.

I have been here many times and I am always pleased with my experience. They have fresh baked goods of all kinds as well as a great sandwich and soup menu and ice cream bar. The tables by the windows are a perfect place to eat or study in peace. Service with a smile always as the staff are always friendly. Highly recommend coming here for lunch or for your everyday bread, muffins , scones and treats.

I recently got married the 21st of August and knew I wanted to order my cake locally. I couldn’t have picked a better bakery than Happy Baker. The staff were amazing to communicate with and answered all my questions without hesitation and promptly! They created the cake of my dreams and it was absolutely delicious, and my guests loved it too! Thank you again!

I ordered a cake from The Happy Baker to celebrate a birthday, and the whole experience was excellent. From the moment I placed the order, the team was professional, kind, and quick to respond to my questions. The cake was delivered on time, beautifully presented, and tasted absolutely amazing, fresh, moist, and full of flavor. Everyone at the celebration loved it! I really appreciated the smooth ordering process and their attention to detail. The Happy Baker made the day extra special, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality baked goods and reliable service.

First time visiting and there were so many tasty treats to choose from. Service was amazing, someone came to help right away after I explained it was my first time in and needed a moment to look at everything they made sure to help if any questions and when I was ready to order someone was able to help right away. We sampled everything and it was all amazing, can't wait to go back!

Oh So Sweet Bakery offers a delightful experience with its warm ambiance and amiable staff. Whether you're in need of catering services or simply craving something sweet, this bakery has got you covered. Their menu boasts an array of delectable treats including cheesecakes, cupcakes, cookies, as well as savory options like sandwiches and scones. The nostalgic flavors of their baked goods evoke memories of homemade treats but with a modern twist.
Fantastic! Delicious! Great staff! Best new little bakery in Fredericton! Highly recommend the toffee pecan scones, lemon squares, brown sugar fudge, and the vanilla latte!

It's like a comfort food spot but for baked goods. Everything from this bakery reminded me of the cookies, cupcakes, sandwiches a mom made, but up sized. The pumpkin spice chocolate chip cookie was a nice twist on a classic. The ginger molasses cookies are classic. We had an assortment of cupcakes, red velvet, chocolate, cookies n cream and peanut butter chocolate chip. Again, each tasted exactly like mom used to make, but just more. More icing which added to the sweetness and moistness of the cupcakes. They also have things like coffee and soups and sandwiches, so I decided to try their chicken, pesto, bacon sandwich on thick cut honey oat bread. Just like school lunch, but a little extra. Nice staff and a comfortable atmosphere, this place has a little bit of everything. They even doing catering for businesses and you can get custom made cookies with your company's logo on them!

What a wonderful, relaxing place. Had a great lunch during a busy day. The Chicken Gnocchi Soup w/roll, Brownie were great. Really enjoyed my Latte! Jill and Kelly are great hostesses and would 10/10 recommend. Can’t wait to come back!

I ordered donuts online for a bridal shower. The website is very user friendly. The donuts were AMAZING!! The guests couldn't say enough kind words about how they looked and tasted. The only sad part is that I didn't have any to take home because they were loved so much! Would definitely order again!

Simon's Kitchen and Bakery in New Maryland is a must-visit spot for those looking for delicious vegan and non-vegan treats in the Fredericton Capital Region. The bakery offers a variety of breakfast and lunch options, as well as take-home meals and a full bake shop. Visitors rave about the friendly service and flavorful food, with recommendations to try their famous vegan cinnamon buns.
What a spot and what a brand! From their various market appearances around town to their cooking classes and special events, Simon's Kitchen and Bakery has truly unique offerings with flavours and experiences that will knock your socks off. My wife and I have been buying their cinnamon rolls at Garrison Night Market and I would have been to this physical location sooner if I had a vehicle. I had their oatcake yesterday, which had a phenomenal consistency, unique from all the others around town, along with a great balance between sweetness and the darker chocolate. And while I haven't tried it yet, I also had to take home some of their pineapple BBQ sauce because once the flavour is sold out, they move on to another unique take on popular foods. There are so many things to try, I can't wait to go back and sample everything. Do yourself a favour and make the drive out now!

Delightful, homemade, healthy, and fresh! So glad we took a little detour on our road trip and stopped in for lunch on Pizza Friday/Saturday to share a pizza and salad with house made dressing and fresh herbs. Super friendly folks and a quick, satisfying meal. They sell their own pickled veggies, salad dressings, bread, and soups to go. Couldn’t resist a cinnamon roll for the road!
Jill F — Google review
I wouldn’t feed this to my dog. Why was half a bottle of oregano dumped on top of the pizza? And the TexMex cheese?? This is offensive to real pizza. I also ordered French toast and sausage which was inedible, menu should specify that they are sausage patties not regular sausage…. I travelled 10 mins outside the city to come here and spent +$50, I even tipped. You should just stick to baked goods, cinnamon rolls were the only thing good.
Chai P — Google review
We are so lucky to have such a fine Bakery right in the Village of New Maryland. I especially love Simon's cinnamon rolls, the soups and pizza. He is very busy with catering weddings and special events. I highly recommend Simon and his talented staff.

Thought we’d try somewhere different for lunch and so glad we stopped in. We ‘only’ had lunch but there’s so much more to this place. Service was fantastic. Food was so flavourful and amazing. We were made to feel like long time, regular customers. After our amazing lunch we purchased some ‘soups to go’. Will definitely make a point of coming back next time we’re in New Brunswick!

Really tasty delicious pastries. Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. These are chocolate croissants. Really yummy.

Stopped in for breakfast whilst travelling and was greeted by the friendliest young lady we have come across on our 3 week vacation . I had a breakfast sandwich ( amazing ) and my wife had the bacon maple beans on sourdough ( next level) After the young ladies ( didn’t get her name) recommendation we left with a cinnamon scroll and the new coffee scroll for later. The drip coffee and tea were great but would have loved an expresso, just a personal preference. This little place is tucked away but well worth the stop , great food and even better customer service. Great way to start our road trip and highly recommend .

I don't live near this bakery but it's worth the trip. What's my favourite thing? No idea. Everything is amazing. The chocolate chip cookies are soft and delicious. The pizza rolls, taco rolls and all the different fresh breads. Have you tried their cinnamon rolls? You need to. Not 5 stars. It's at least 7. I've used them for catering, and it was such a good experience. They have breakfast and lunch stuff too like sandwiches, soups, bacon and eggs, French toast... The owner is really nice, and his staff are warm and friendly. This is a must-visit if you're in the greater Fredriction area.
