History museum
The National Museum of African American History and Culture is a popular Smithsonian museum featuring unique exhibits that delve into the history, culture, and community of African Americans. The museum's collection offers a rich portrayal of the African American experience, spanning from slavery through significant historical periods such as the Civil War, Reconstruction, and the Civil Rights Movement. Visitors can explore fascinating artifacts like a toy wooden crib crafted by an enslaved mother and a lace shawl gifted to Harriet Tubman by Queen Victoria.
Reserve tickets ahead of time. We got in rather quickly. The staff were friendly and helpful. The museum was very thoughtfully laid out and incredibly moving! We spent about 4.5 hours but could have taken longer. Even our 7 year old was engaged and taking time to read the plaques on each item. What an honor to be there. My grandfather (John M Johnson) was a contributor to the museum and it was so cool seeing his name on display as well. Would love to return!

This museum is AMAZING!! I didn't get to view the entire museum due to time but I STRONGLY recommend you visit if you want to know anything about Black History! There are lots of exhibits, artifacts, and real people giving their own words and feelings via videos you can listen to. There is lots of information some you may not even know, heard about or learned. The museum has a cafeteria you can buy for and sit and eat,( I had the spiced lamb and it was delicious). I will definitely be returning and making a day just to visit the museum in it's entirety. There was a group of high school kids visiting and it was great seeing and hearing them in awe of what is not taught in school about this part of American history because Black History is American history! If ever in Washington DC I highly recommend you visit and bring the kids!

Such a wonderfully cultivated museum with such great detail. The knowledge of the docents was spectacular. I felt engaged and grew the desire to read more. The greeter were extremely pleasant and helpful. I'm just sorry I missed eating there. I hear the food is awesome. However, I deeply explored the exhibits that I literally forgot to eat in the 6 hours I was there... and still didn't get it all in. The reflection waterfall was a nice way decompress and process.

Beautiful, both inside and out! Most memorable part of my trip was visiting this museum. Learned so much. A must see while in DC. Entry was seamless & securing tickets in advance was very simple, not to mention free! But please don’t forget to donate. Highly recommend.
Berta B — Google review
Filled with so much information and laid out amazingly. So many artifacts filled with incredible history. If you are anything like me and like to read EVERY picture and plaque, you will easily need about 6-7 hours to fully immerse yourself in the entire museum. I spent about 3 hours and only made it 1.5 floors.
Liz — Google review
From the history to the art this place is beautiful. My partner and I’s first time here and it truly is a wonderful museum to visit. It truly takes you back in time and gives so much history detail on so many different topics. From the art to the famous items displayed, couldn’t recommend anymore. Can be a bit difficult to move around at some parts but all depends on what day you go and how busy it is.

Love love love this place!! I've been here many times but my first with grandson #2. He's a history buff at 10 and he loved every step. We were there from open to close. I had to persuade him to eat. He was happy to eat spicy macaroni and cheese. We'll be making 1 more visit before heading back to Chicago.
Erica J — Google review
My first visit. It was historic. There is so much history from all over the country. There was so much detail and so many stories told. I was sad, angry, heartbroken and happy and nostalgic. I grew up in the South Bronx during the 70s and 80s and witnessed the birth of hip hop. It was captured so well. It would be a shame if they changed anything.

The individual I spoke with when I came here back in August was very lovely so that is in favor of this establishment receiving a star at all. However after finishing a 2g disposable I bought here I opened the other one I purchased (4 total) and realized I never scanned the code on the back. Well. $400 later I learn that all 4 disposables I bought and the brand itself is all fake. Or at least counterfeits of a possible real company though that’s a stretch. Extremely disappointed and I have now spent $400 on product I can’t even use. Not sure what pesticides or other things I have inhaled but genuinely I am disgusted that these are being sold. Please do not purchase any Space Club disposables, please be safer and smarter than me.

I had a fantastic time at Big Escape Rooms today. The experience was absolutely perfect, with an incredible atmosphere, innovative design, and excellent staff who provided attentive and exceptional service. The outbreak challenge was both fun and engaging. The room itself was enjoyable, although the team I was with proved to be quite skilled and managed to easily win. If you're looking for a great escape room experience, I highly recommend visiting Big Escape Rooms.
This was so fun! We did the Basketball room...and didn't make it out! Lol. The room was small so having the two of us was perfect. I couldn't see more than three people in there. Guillermo was very professional and helpful! We will come back for another room!
Deanna G — Google review
My group and I came to play the Outbreak room and it is atrocious. The first room has no decoration and empty book shelves. It's all just locks, there's nothing interesting. The room is basically empty with a desk and a couple chairs to make it look like a "doctors office." There's things that are just taped and glued together. The second room is even worse. There's random blood marks everywhere and puzzles are hot glued together because they're too lazy to make it look better. Theres holes in the ceiling and "dirt" marks to make it look "scary" when it all it does it make it look overdone and gross. They market this as the hardest room because of how difficult it is to be immersed lol, this room is one of the worst I've played and I've done many many escape rooms. The puzzles do not flow together whatsoever. Please do not bring your friends or family here. This place needs to be closed because the owner obviously does not care about creating rooms people would actually enjoy
Leo A — Google review
It was really fun. There was a great unexpected surprise that took the experience to the next level. I have been to other escape rooms and these clues made sense. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Lee A — Google review
Price was good, staff was nice but the room had a door unlocked that was not supposed to be unlocked and we had to ask for help. We also needed assistance to get the tv to work with backstory because when we wanted to watch it in the beginning there was no sound. It was fun but I think they should check for these types of details.
Emily T — Google review
We had a very nice instructor named Guillermo, he was very nice and friendly also very helpful when we needed a hint it. The rooms were lots of fun especially the pharaoh it’s plot was neat, it’s pretty difficult were barely got out. Just in the nick of time.

We tried the basketball for the first time with younger kids and we made it out just in the nick of time. A great fun family experience while we all tried to rack our brains. Definitely would like to try the other escape rooms next time
Jenn S — Google review
I did their “hardest” room called Outbreak and honestly I was going to complain only to find a comment a scroll down explaining everything perfectly. Over priced and poorly made , would not recommend coming here. I would not come again.

Bakery
Nestled in a charming 1910 stone building that once served as a gas station, Mom's Apple Pie Bakery is a cherished gem in Leesburg, Virginia. This delightful bakery offers an array of freshly baked goods, including pies, cookies, and bread, all crafted in a warm and inviting atmosphere. A must-try is their signature chess pie—a rich custard delight with a perfectly browned topping that embodies Southern tradition.
This place is amazing. Amazingly delicious! Having just moved from Portland, Oregon to Leesburg I was a little concerned about how I would find the quality of baked goods here in small local shops as Portland is baking Mecca. This place exceeded my expectations. I love to bake pie myself and I will tell you that their prices are very reasonable. Quality ingredients are not cheap, my homemade pies cost more than their pies and I hate to admit this, but are not as good! 🤣😱 If they offered classes, I might take one! Flaky crusts! The apple pie was magnificent. I will definitely be back.
Tiffany M — Google review
A tiny bakery at a fork in the road that is incredibly delicious! All of the baked goods were so tasty. I wish we lived closer! There are many different flavors of pies and cookies. The staff are friendly and helpful. There were some gluten free options. We stopped in during the afternoon and some things were already sold out. I would love to come back in the morning to experience the full bakery! Must visit bakery!

The best pies we have been able to find. Every we travel up the east coast we make it a point to stay at least one day near Mom’s Apple Pie to get the chance to load our freezer up with as many pies as will fit!! The pies are so good! Our favorites are Apple, Pecan, Strawberry Rhubarb, and Sour Cherry. Definitely recommend!! It’s way worth the trip.
Andrew J — Google review
Tried their strawberry and rhubarb traditional pie and sour cherry crumble pie. The crusts were both good but the filling was commercial tasting. Very syrupy which might be more of a personal preference.
Ellen — Google review
Cute storefront and very friendly helpful staff. Purchased blackberry and lemon meringue pies. Both pies were delicious. The crust was standout and the fruit was perfect. The lemon meringue was amazing. They were offering a limited time special, buy two pies and take home 6 ears of corn from their farm. The corn was delicious and sweet. I want to go back and have more!!!
Peter N — Google review
What a great place to get a pie in Loudoun Co. it’s a super small building and gets crowded east, and sometimes you have to wait a minute to get in - but it’s so worth it. They have every type of pie you can imagine from fruit to chocolate. Most of them they sell by the slice some are only available in whole pies. The staff is super friendly, and the pies are absolutely amazing. I can’t recommend enough the chocolate peanut butter or the blueberry. Of course the apple and cherry are also killer. They get super busy around the holidays so if you’re looking for a pie during the busy season try ordering ahead of time as the selection for a walk in it sometimes limited around the big holidays like Thanksgiving. Highly recommended, great place with easy parking.
Matt E — Google review
Worth going there just for the smell when you walk through the door! The "Million Dollar Cookies" are delicious, but worth only $900,000, tops! Seriously though, their pies are awesome and most come in traditional or crumb crusts. The seasonal pies (peach, strawberry) are excellent. All their other products - small banana nut breads, cookies, and novelties - are just as good
Leslie K — Google review
Pie shop with quality varying from good to great. Some of the pies will have hand-made crusts, others will have industrial-made crusts. Seasonal berry pies are always a nice treat. They keep quality high for being a medium volume bakery, which is good. Have not ever had a pie from them that was not at least good, and I have eaten more than my share.

Live music venue
Concerts & Shows
Theaters
Tally Ho Theater, a historic landmark in Leesburg since 1932, has been transformed from a Depression-era movie palace into an art deco gem. This iconic venue now hosts live music and theater performances, featuring headliners like Shooter Jennings and the Gin Blossoms, as well as tribute bands such as Live Wire and the Glimmer Twins. The addition of Tally Ho Taco offers delicious tacos made from organic and local ingredients to keep patrons energized throughout the night.
Love this venue! They get a great mix of tribute bands and a decent number of national acts as well. The best thing about the place is the sound system. They have absolutely nailed the sound the majority of the shows I've seen here. The 2024 Living Colour show immediately comes to mind, such a great job on the sound mix! In 20+ shows I've seen here to date only one had bad sound, Geoff Tate. I asked about that one and turns out the band had its own sound people on the boards, so that was on them not the venue. Parking is a breeze as there is a public garage right behind the theater. Tribute bands generally are in the $15 to $25 range for general admission tickets. Even for national acts I've not yet noticed anything go past $50 per ticket (KK's Priest with Accept was the most I've seen at $49.50). I've been to a sold out show here and they must have good AC as it did not get overly hot inside. My only quibble is the "pit" area by the stage is slightly sloped, good for sight lines, not so much for standing on.
Bill H — Google review
Be warned if you pay extra for seats you will have to walk up stairs. No elevator!! I was disabled and had to sit downstairs with no view of the stage from the ADA section because they allowed people to stand at the top of the stairs down to the floor blocking the view of ADA patrons. They could move the ADA seating to right behind the sound board and it would have been a better view. Sound was great. Service was great.
B M — Google review
Cozy place to see a show, with lots of places nearby to meet up for dinner and a drink, before and after a show. Great sound, great lights, friendly staff, cool art deco building with cool decor and a huge portrait of Orson Welles - what's not to like?
Tedd M — Google review
Had a blast, for the 3rd time there in 4 years. Great venue for a close up concert!
Frederick S — Google review
Nice venue. Good people. Great food spots and VIP with separate bar and bathrooms. I've been going for a few years. I've seen some great shows at this spot. Thanks for the music that continues to heal.my soul. They have good food. Safe environment with people to help as needed. Like I said, good people keep smaller venues alive and rocking. Thank you for all the shows. We saw THC last night.
Jef F — Google review
We really enjoyed this place. This is a great place to watch a concert. Drinks were reasonable. Service was great. I would definitely recommend this place.
Nate B — Google review
Great venue to see a concert!! Petite but the sound quality was amazing!
Michael H — Google review
I think knowing what this place is helps to set expectations. It is an old building, with limited ADA access. We bought VIP tickets, which were still first come, first serve for seating. All staff were friendly and answered questions about lines, etc. Acoustics were pretty decent. Not too crowded and leaving was easy. This was actually the first show I've been to in a long time that I stayed for the encore. I think it would be really helpful if their website clearly stated: that the time on the tickets is door open time, not show start time; expected show start time; which side of the doors is regular line and which is VIP line.

Cocina On Market is a lively eatery located on Market Street in Leesburg. Offering a variety of delicious Mexican dishes, this vibrant cantina specializes in regional fare such as street tacos, ceviche, and moles. The restaurant features a bustling tequila bar and an open-air rooftop dining room with stunning views of historic downtown. With its patio adorned with twinkle lights and comfortable seating options, it is the perfect place to enjoy a celebration under the stars.
Adorable little place, colorfully decorated in a cute historic building... LOVED the roof! There is a side entrance that goes right in by the steps to the roof. We had read mention of portions being small & expensive, tho i dont eat big portions so found them perfectly sized. And really good quality, with some unusual dishes like oxtail and octopus that u dont get just anywhere. We had a ceviche appetizer, one catfish taco and one tuna, and an oxtail tostada and found it to be the perfect amount of food for 2 (lighter female eaters). The weather was perfect so the roof was lovely.
Dizzy G — Google review
What's good? The tacos Al Pastor were tasty with the right amount of sweetness. The Baja Shrimp tacos were good. It was evident that the ingredients were fresh; it seems they are from local farmers. The service was excellent. The tortillas used for the tacos were not bad but have had better. I think the street tacos were expensive for their size.
Manuel C — Google review
I came to this place lace because the description showed Mexican cuisine and pictures in the reviews however I was a little disappointed there was no none, it’s strictly American cuisine. We still decide to give it a shot. I tried steak frites and my fiancé got the burger, both items were good and tasty but I do think the food was overpriced, the price of the burger was not disclosed until we got the check and service was average. Server was more concerned about setting tables than helping us.

Tequila Bar in downtown Leesburg! The manager is amazing. He is young, very friendly and when he found out we wanted to learn about tequila, he was very knowledgeable and gave us some great information. Chef also is very nice, brought food out to the table and explained the concept of how the place is layed out. Great crew here! We didn't do dinner (next time) but their green salsa is different in a good way. It's not runny like most, it's thicker so it doesn't drip all over your chips and your hands. It's citrusy refreshing perfect for the hot day. Their red salsa equally great, just the right amount of fire roasted flavor. There's so many tequila options here it was hard to pick. So we left it to the manager to pick for us and we aren't disappointed. We will sure be back.

Mexican comfort food that warms your soul! Locally sourced ingredients, delicious margaritas & craft cocktails, tequila infusions, and traditional Mexican fare by chef/owner, Jason. Upon entering, you are instantly teleported into a vibrant cantina filled with a passion of Mexican culture. For drinks, my wife loved their seasonal Berry Margarita and I had the “Bee Sting”: Reposado, Honey, Jalapeño, Lemon - a very tasty take on a jalapeño margarita, highly recommend! They also offer flights from their large selection of Tequilas and Mezcals. To start, you must try their “Cocina Board”: the chef’s selection of (≈ 6) various appetizer samples. Our board featured their Savory Corn “Churros”, Vegetable Escabeche, Pinto Beans Charro Style, Queso Fundido, Guacamole, Poblano Mole & Mushrooms, Roasted Peppers, and Crispy Potatoes. Our favorites: Savory Corn “Churros”, Queso Fundido, and Crispy Potatoes! The “Cocina Board” will fill you up, so we stuck to small plates… We ordered more of the Savory Corn “Churros” and their Fried Chicken street tacos, topped with pickled mustard greens and chipotle crema. Absolutely delicious! Just save room for dessert... their fried churros are the best we have had since “The Churro Guy” in Cozumel, Mexico! The menu changes seasonally and they often have experimental specials so you always have an opportunity to try a new delicious dish! ¡Buen Provecho!

If you're in Leesburg, Virginia, make sure to stop by Puccio's New York Deli for a delightful culinary experience. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic bagel with cream cheese or one of their specialty sandwiches like the Reuben or Ragin Cajun, there’s always something new and delicious to try.
Stopped in here for a bite to eat and it was a great idea. This is the best sandwich cafe in Leesburg. The buns are very soft and crispy, the meat is cooked perfectly. The service is very fast and friendly. Highly recommend to sandwich enthusiasts.

Tuscarora Mill Restaurant, located in historic downtown Leesburg, has been a staple of northern Virginia's dining scene since 1985. Housed in a restored 1899 grist mill, the restaurant offers high-end New American cuisine and an extensive selection of Virginia wines.
Tuscarora Mill is a true culinary experience in downtown Leesburg! We started with the buffalo wings and they were absolutely perfect, crispy, saucy, and bursting with a flavorful blend of spicy and sweet. The shrimp dish was equally impressive, packed with bold Asian-inspired flavors and paired beautifully with a fresh, crunchy coleslaw underneath. For our main course, we had the strip and filet steaks, both were cooked to perfection and full of rich flavor. The standout side was the Brussels sprouts with bacon: incredibly fresh, vibrantly green, and loaded with savory goodness. Service was spectacular from start to finish, our glasses were never empty, and our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. If you’re in the area and looking for a memorable dining experience, Tuscarora Mill is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our dinner there last night, as the food, service, and atmosphere. For the appetizers, we shared the Fried Green Tomatoes which were really good, and the pork belly which was my favorite dish there! Our server Kristen was really good as she gave us great insights on what dishes to get. For our main courses, I had the beef tip with scallops, which was good, my wife loved our duck, and my friend truly enjoyed his 16 ounce ribeye. Overall, this was an outstanding dinning experience. I also enjoyed my creme brulé and my wife loved her bread pudding. Wine was really good, and the bread very soft. We'll definitely really go back there one day.

Great place for a special occasion. Had the shrimp and grits, and it was very tasty. Portions were perfect, finished every bite. Desert and drinks were fantastic as well. Only complaint I have is my wife being allergic to red meat didn't have as many options, but what she did find she enjoyed thoroughly.

Tuscarora Mill in Leesburg continues to deliver an outstanding dining experience. The food was excellent — well-prepared, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a quiet and relaxed ambiance that made for an enjoyable evening. The service was also top-notch — attentive, courteous, and professional from start to finish. Having dined here before, we’re always impressed by the consistent quality and welcoming environment. We’ll definitely continue to come back.

Great drinks, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and a casual but restaurant vibe. Really cute decor, great service, and clean bathrooms. Parking can be a little tricky with the small parking lots. Would definitely come back :)

This is a fantastic place! Just magical. They have an extensive collection of whiskies and bourbon. Their taps are clean, beer is cold. The food is divine- it’s clear that the chef and the kitchen know what they’re doing. Everything is prepared with thought and absolutely delicious. The staff, from the host to the waiter and wait staff are very professional. Mark was our waiter and he was nothing short of wonderful. My wife and I hope to return soon. Many thanks!

We were looking for a more upscale place to eat while traveling around and found this place via a Reddit post. The food was delicious and our server was very friendly and had great recommendations. I would absolutely eat here again if in the area.

Probably the best dining experience i’ve had in a very very long time. The atmosphere of the restaurant is so nice. Our server was so nice and attentive and the food was FANTASTIC! We were raving about it the entire time we were eating it! Such complex flavors. Definitely recommend!!

Day 2

East side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the east side side of town. Start the day off with Leesburg Premium Outlets, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to SideBar. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

Leesburg, located near Washington, D.C. and Dulles International Airport, offers a charming small-town experience with its historic district and nearby vineyards. The town is rich in history but also features trendy shops and top-notch dining options. For those seeking discounts and deals, the Leesburg Premium Outlets on the eastern side of Route 15 are a must-visit destination.
Leesburg Premium Outlets: Shop 'Til You Drop! Leesburg Premium Outlets is a shopper's paradise! I've been there a few times now, and it's definitely a go-to for finding great deals on a wide variety of brands. You can find just about anything there, from high-end designer stores like Kate Spade and Tory Burch to more athletic wear at Nike. It's a great place to spend a day if you're looking to do some serious shopping. One of the things I appreciate most about this outlet mall is the layout. It's designed in a way that makes it easy to navigate, and there's plenty of parking. Plus, they've got a play area right in the middle, which is a lifesaver if you've got kids with you. It's the perfect spot to take a break and let them burn off some energy so you can get back to shopping. If I had one complaint, it would be the food selection. While there are some options, the food area is a bit lacking in variety. It's fine for a quick bite, but if you're looking for a more substantial meal, you might want to plan to eat elsewhere. Overall, though, Leesburg Premium Outlets is a fantastic shopping destination. The variety of stores and the family-friendly amenities make it a great place to spend a day. Just be sure to wear comfortable shoes, and maybe plan your lunch or dinner off-site!

Leesburg Premium Outlets is a great place to shop, with a wide variety of stores. The layout is easy to navigate, and the outdoor setting makes for a nice walk while shopping. It can get crowded on weekends and holidays, and parking sometimes takes a bit of patience, but overall it’s a solid outlet mall with good bargains and lots of options.

Discover a shopping experience like no other with a wide selection of top-quality brands. Enjoy ample parking spaces, making your visit convenient and stress-free. Find incredible deals and elevate your style with the latest trends. Experience a pleasant and satisfying shopping trip. We look forward to welcoming you soon.

Leesburg Premium Outlets is not just a shopping center, it is a whole world of opportunities for those who appreciate style, quality, and great deals. My visit to this outlet left me with an extremely positive impression, and I am happy to share my impressions. First of all, the scale is impressive. A huge number of stores representing well-known brands offer a wide selection of goods for every taste and budget. From clothing and footwear to accessories and home goods, you can find almost anything your heart desires here. At the same time, prices are significantly lower than in regular retail stores, which makes shopping especially enjoyable.
Zhess B — Google review
I would give it a five stars if it wasn't for these wasted parking spaces. Really? Gotta penny pinch for that extra dollar with threats of towing? What are yall, the special ed crew of DC. Why dont ya just vote out those elected officials that makes you penny pinch. Geez. Nevertheless, great deals, great workers making the shopping experiences memorable. #Stop By and Avoid Pating for the parking spot to shop

Well worth the drive out from DC. This outlet mall has so many of the most popular brands with heavily discounted prices. It has good foodcourt options, great parking and outdoor entertainment too amuse/distract the kids.

I went to the Leesburg outlet for the first time. Some brands were perfect. Puma, Reebok, and Colombia were the best when I wanted to compare with other brands. Nike was packed but the prices were fair.

WIDE VARIETY AND QUALITY SELECTION Target’s General Merchandise section offers an excellent range of items, from home furnishings, plants and bedding to items such as keychains. The products are well-priced and it is easy to find just what you need in one stop. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE BY SONIA We recently had a wonderful experience shopping at Target, largely thanks to Sonia in the General Merchandise department. Sonia’s helpfulness and attention to detail made our visit go well. She truly cared about our shopping experience, which made a real difference. CLEAN AND WELL-ORGANIZED STORE The store itself is clean, organized, and easy to find your way around, adding to the convenience of shopping there. There was plenty of parking and although the checkout process could have gone more quickly. OVERALL EXPERIENCE Thanks to Sonia’s exceptional customer service and Target’s great product selection, our shopping trip was both productive and enjoyable.

This review is for the staff George Bryan. He’s so helpful to me. I approach a different staff before and was no help at all. This is the 4th Target I visited today since I was looking for a specific product. I was able to get what I needed since he went above and beyond to check at the back since there were none displayed even if it says there were stocks available since it just came out today. I’m so grateful and elated for the assistance. I really thought I’m going home disappointed. The other staff I approached at Sterling was helpful too. I forgot to get her name and would have love to send a recommendation.

came here the past month everyday after school and it’s the same old shit. Target employees need to do better at preventing no life scalpers from making it impossible to enjoy a simple hobby like collecting pokemon cards. other than that, this is a stellar target and i’ve never had any problems with customer service and the selections. Just please for the love of god get ahold of this bs with the scalpers. do better.

I’m 8 months pregnant and can’t bring my husband into the dressing room with me? I literally needed help.. shawty practically busted down the door to tell him to get out, when we asked why she said nothing to us😂 also this target is notorious for having the worst people running the try on rooms! I literally walked out the store and stopped shopping she ruined my mood🤣

If one more person asks me about my mobile plan while walking past electronics, I'm done with this store. I understand this sounds a bit dramatic but they don't take no for an answer. They will continue to pester you while you are in the area making it difficult to look at anything in peace. I told him no three times, even turned my back to him hoping he'd finally get it but he didn't. He kept pestering me as I was looking another product. I eventually just left the store. Target, please stop this madness.
Logan W — Google review
Hands down the best target I have been to, until I went to use ladies' room. My opinion went from an OH Gosh WoW! To an OH, my gosh of disgust. I wish I had taken more video of the store, but I was too big eyed checking it out. Sorry. Seriously, it was like Kohls and Target made a store baby together. It looks beautiful, well laid out, fully stocked, well lit inside, and there are lots of things my local target does not have. The makeup section was just incredible. I didn't even make it to the grocery section. I had to leave for a show I had tickets to. BUT, I will be back. Hopefully, next time, the ladies' room will have been checked. It seriously must have been all day without checking due to the sheer volume of gross items on the floor and in the toilets. From insane amounts of paper on the floor, most of it wet with urine and hair tells me it had been there a while. I had to go all the way down, checking for a clean toilet, and did not find one. Rather, it was paper to step over. Not flushed with blood, poo and even a scratcher lottery ticket in one bowl. I guess they didn't win on that one.

Goosecup, located in downtown Leesburg, is a popular spot known for its artisanal coffee, craft cocktails, and inventive brunch dishes. The cafe offers a beautifully designed space with indoor and outdoor seating options as well as a food menu that includes modern twists on classic brunch items like avocado toast with a sunny-side-up egg and black truffle paste, bacon-egg-and-cheese sandwich with aged white cheddar and arugula, and Hudson Valley smoked salmon served on toast.
I love it here!! Very cute, bright and welcoming! The food is yummy, and so are the drinks. I’ve had a little bit of everything here. They host lots of fun social events more than worth checking out! Just a great place to hangout and have a good time :)

Amazing space that is open, airy, and pretty. They serve coffee, cocktails, and have happy hour. Kid friendly, work friendly environment. The iced chai latte and london fog latte were mediocre but the ambiance makes up for it. I would like to try their coffee. It's in a quaint town.

Stopped by for about 10 minutes. Just a quick look around while passing through, and grabbed a coffee. The café’s one of the best I’ve been to lately. Even though it’s a two-hour drive, I’d definitely come back when I have time. The latte was really good.

This coffee shop was very busy the day I went. There was a festival in the area. I enjoyed my coffee though! I will come back again. Especially since I didn’t get to try the food. Side note, there is a flower vendor that is so worth checking out. Although, there isn’t a person manning it just a QR code to pay via Zelle but the flowers are spectacular. 💐

Service was good and coffee. Atmosphere is nice, but the food is way over priced and not that filling.. 14$ for a piece of bread with avocado and one egg.. the other plate was 10$ and it was one piece of bacon 2 eggs and one loaf of bread..would not recommend if you’re trying to get a decent breakfast plate

Shoutout to the barista with glasses and cool tattoos for the coolest latte art and great hospitality! I was rung up by a gentleman who recommended me great coffee combo! The cozy blue house on the corner of Royal and King Streets offers a charming setting to enjoy a variety of coffee options, from expertly crafted espresso drinks to pour overs and cold brews.
Awesome place to go! Highly recommend. Their seasonal drinks are so awesome, I was really impressed. Also have an assortment of baked goods. Reasonable prices. The employees were really personable and fun. The inside has a good amount of seating, when I came Sunday late morning, I easily got a table.

The coffee at this place is crazy exquisite. I had a cappuccino and it was sensational. Real coffee. The other people who were with me agreed with the deliciousness of their coffee. Really adorable coffee shop and with great coffee!! Very small front room that can get cramped quickly on a weekend morning very little seating, which are the only drawbacks. But there are a few seats outside. And there's a parking lot! So you don't have to worry about street parking.

Charming little spot! Can be hard to find parking and morning rush must be crazy, but it's a sweet cafe. The one employee that was there was very nice and helpful. Their cold drinks come in one size which looks about the same as a "grande". We got the kids hot chocolate, a decaf vanilla latte, and a cold brew. The cold brew was self serve and tasted good! The other drinks were good, as well. They have gluten free donuts that pair amazingly with all the drinks we got. They do offer gift cards that make amazing teacher gifts, as well ;)

Nestled in the heart of downtown Leesburg, SideBar is a charming American bistro that perfectly blends rustic charm with modern flair. Since its inception in 2017, this trendy spot has expanded from a single dining room to include multiple spaces for private events and an inviting coffee shop. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, reminiscent of New Orleans with its exposed brick walls and cozy decor. SideBar's menu boasts an array of classic American dishes alongside creative small plates ideal for sharing.

I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a quick lunch in mid-March. I was traveling and have been to Leesburg before and figured it would be a good place to find lunch. They seemed to be busy. The host offered me a seat at the bar since I was a party of one. There was only one other person at the bar. The bartender greeted me quickly and took my order. I ordered a southwestern chicken salad and that came out quickly as well. It was good. It had a bit more of the tortilla chips than I would have liked but it was fine. I only had water to drink but they had a good selection of liquor and beer. The bartender was attentive. Prices were comparable to other places I have been in town. The atmosphere was casual but busy. I couldn’t see the dining area but I certainly could hear it. I would maybe come back again if I’m the area.

Great food, cozy vibes, and lovely staff! Sidebar is one of my favorite spots — I’ve been there several times, and every visit has been a great experience. The appetizers and main dishes are always delicious, and the cozy, beautifully designed atmosphere makes it a great place to enjoy a meal. The staff are friendly, polite, and all professional, which adds to the overall positive experience. One thing to keep in mind: make sure to ask for the appetizer to be served before the main course. In my experience, they sometimes bring everything out at once — even though it’s called an appetizer for a reason! Highly recommend this place — definitely worth visiting.

Just got into town and decides to have brunch here. The main door was closed and we literally walked past it. Finally found our way in from the back. Service was prompt but unenthusiastic. Our croissant with Virginia ham and the sweet potato fries and side salad was delicious. Plenty of sittings inside and outside. A nice place for lunch.

If you haven’t been to SideBar yet—what are you even doing? This place is an absolute gem in downtown Leesburg and delivers on every level: brunch, lunch, happy hour, dinner, private events—you name it. On the weekends, brunch is powered by their own in-house coffee shop, so you’re getting incredible espresso drinks alongside thoughtfully crafted breakfast and lunch dishes that hit every time. Let’s talk cocktails: 🍹 They have two specialty cocktail bars, each with its own vibe. The Docket (out back) is indoor/outdoor with Copacabana flair—perfect for sunny days and chill hangs. Night Shift (upstairs) brings moody, intimate energy, ideal for late-night drinks, date nights, or small private gatherings. The food is consistently amazing, the staff is knowledgeable and welcoming, and the atmosphere is unmatched. Whether you're here for a quick drink, a long lunch, or a full-blown celebration, you’ll walk out wondering why you don’t come more often. Private events? They crush it. From weddings to afterparties to corporate mixers—SideBar knows how to throw an event and make it feel effortless. Seriously—if you’re not going to SideBar, you’re missing out.

If you're on the hunt for vibrant flavors and authentic Mexican street food, look no further than Señor Ramon Taqueria in Leesburg. This culinary gem has quickly established itself as a go-to spot for taco lovers in Northern Virginia. The menu is a delightful showcase of traditional dishes, featuring mouthwatering options like Carne Asada, Al Pastor, and Birria—all crafted with fresh ingredients and topped with zesty salsas that elevate each bite.
Tacos are delicious. The tortillas are great. Al pastor was our favorite. The staff is amazing very friendly and the service was fast.
Eileen P — Google review
The birria tacos and chorizo were, at best, average. Volume, texture, and flavor are completely absent. The tortilla, the beef quality, and the amount of water were extremely bad in the birria tacos, so we did not eat two of three. Suffice it to say that we were disappointed and won't be returning. The only winning thing was a true Mexican Coke.
Franklin G — Google review
The vegetarian tacos here were great. However taking away a star due to their exclusive use of disposable containers and plastics.
RV — Google review
Stopped by this weekend for their happy hour tacos and was really impressed. The tacos were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, with generous portions that put other spots in the area to shame. I also loved the downstairs lounge, it’s a great place to kick back on the couches and catch a game on their multiple flat screens.
Michael L — Google review
Everything was excellent! Happened to come in during happy hour which was a nice surprise. Had the al pastor and barbacoa traditional tacos for the deal as well as the Patagonia and the super Ramon tacos.
Kenny G — Google review
Really disappointing. Almost no meat on the Carne Asada and no flavor. This place used to be much better, but I would not recommend it anymore.
Shaun T — Google review
I’ve been coming to Señor Ramon’s for years, since their old porch location and now this larger spot. They’ve always been consistent and the food is delicious. Friday can get hectic, and there’s never enough tables for the crowd they attract. (There’s a secret downstairs with more seating and restrooms.) happy hour hasn’t been advertised much in the past, but that’s changed in recent months. Food recommendations: the corn nuggets are a must, and if you love shrimp, the TS 478! Typically 1-2 tacos are the norm per person, depending on how hungry you are, and how many sides you order. 3 tacos and you’ll regret it.
Carter B — Google review
A local store owner off of South King recommended this place and it didn’t disappoint. The tacos are street style and around $4, they have mode made salsas that were great and the music playing an indie rock like black keys. I’d recommend it for authentic taco lovers and those who like specialty tacos as well.

Delirium Café-Leesburg is a renowned beer haven offering a wide selection of local and international brews, spirits, and pub fare in a historic setting. Inspired by the love for Belgian beers, this outpost of the famous Delirium brand features over 40 beers on tap from around the world. Guests can enjoy a unique dining experience indoors or in the outdoor beer garden. The service is exceptional, with friendly and efficient staff ensuring an enjoyable visit.
Wifey and I went there to meet her sister on Thursday 8/10/2023 . The waitress was amazing and had a cool had getting prepped for a Yacht Rock party! She was super nice, helpful and fast all at the same time. She always checked on us at the right times and made the experience a great one, we definitely recommend and will go back. We ordered the buffalo tots and this is a must have, the goat cheese fried things were good, could have been seasoned better but the sauce it came with paired very nicely. Wifeys sister ordered the chicken sandwich which she said was really good, over cooked a little bit very tasteful! I feel this place is a hidden gem but a little pricey. We had 3 beers total and the food mentioned and the bill was $80 before tip. The chicken sandwich was like $18 and that seemed a little over priced. Still overall really good!!!! The breakfast menu looked really good too.

Tonight was our first experience but it certainly will not be our last. After a frustrating experience at another local joint, we decided to try a new, but often recommended, local dinner spot. We called ahead as my pregnant wife requires some seating accommodations, which they cheerfully noted. On arrival, we were greeted with smiles and immediately seated. The hostess congratulated my wife, which started the dinner off wonderfully. For our appetizer, we ordered the pretzels. They were warm, crispy, and flavorful. As a salad, the endive does not disappoint. The plating was phenomenal and the taste kept pace! Our entrees were the brisket burger and the brisket platter. It was all cooked perfectly. The brisket portions were extremely generous. We probably took home three extra meals worth. For dessert, we ordered the cookie plate and the caramel waffle. The cookie plate was okay, but the caramel waffle stole the show. Delirium perfectly crafts the authentic pearl sugar-laden Belgian waffle style. Outside of Brussels, I'm not sure you could find a more delicious representation of the dish. If you come for nothing more, this dessert is a must have in Leesburg. From fair prices to delicious food to cheery service, Delirium Cafe knocks the local dine-in experience out of the park.

Fast food restaurant
Chick-fil-A is a fast-food chain that offers chicken sandwiches, nuggets, salads, and sides. Their food is known to be hot and tasty, and they also serve delicious peach milkshakes. This particular location has well-trained staff who efficiently serve customers. They have an employee who actively cleans tables and checks if anyone needs assistance. In terms of order accuracy, they promptly fix any mistakes without any problems.
This was a busy Cick-fill-A on a Saturday in March. I expected it would be, but there was only one person in front of us in line. Ordering was quick and the food came out pretty fast. If you’re not familiar with Chick-fil-A, you order at the counter and they give you a plastic u-shaped item to place on your table and they bring your food out to you when it’s ready. My family member ordered a Chicken sandwich meal with fries/drink and really liked it. I ordered a soft serve vanilla cone. I love those! They have such a great vanilla flavor and tasted awesome. All around positive experience at this Chick-fil-A!

Drove an hour to this location because I have heard great things. I went through the drive through and while ordering they never asked what sauce I wanted and rushed me through the drive through, I was the only one in line. Once I got to the window, the young lady handing my food to me was quite snippy. Every time I said thank you she never said my pleasure. The food was good but the service was horrible.

If you can't manage curb-side pickup, then don't offer it. I use curb-side pickup to speed up my process, not make it slower than waiting in the absurd line at the drive-through and *then* still having to get out of my car to go inside and find out what's going on. I arrived about 10 minutes after ordering, put in my location number, and was told it would be 3-6 minutes to prepare the food. So right off the bat, it's no different than going through the drive through. After 10 minutes, now I'm pretty hot, seeing about 20 cars come and go through the drive-through, and even though I'm in plain view of the drive-through attendant, not once did it occur to this guy to shout out, "Hey, there's a guy waiting at curbide pick up for 5 minutes. Can someone look into it?" I go in and there is nobody in line, 2 people standing at registers. I tell them I've been at curbside 10 minutes and want to know why it's taking so long I had to come in. Everyone looks like I asked them to solve a differential equation and starts asking around. After another minute of utter confusion, it turns out my order was sitting on the counter for no telling how long while I sat curbside. Apparently if you aren't front and center demanding their attention, they'll happily ignore you indefinitely.

I have been a Chik Fil A fan for a decade, first time trying this location. I ordered $30 worth food via the app, got there at drive thru and the server was extremely rude. She told me to go to drive thru one, I went there and waited good 10 mins. Finally, my food arrived and the fries and nuggets were cold, not even tiny bit warm. Extremely disappointed with the service and food quality.

The chicken was overly fried and the crust was darker than normal (overcooked). You could taste the burned oil. We ordered frosted peach lemonade we were given frosted peach milkshake!! We still luv chick-fil-A as our first choice eat out quick bite.

I drive for a living I'm always on a schedule or have to pickup someone at a certain time so I had a 630am pickup in Leesburg, they don't understand if I'm late there's no excuse for it, so I pull up at Chick fila at 6:05 the cones are still blocking the drive thru lane and the door to the building is locked, there is a lady walking around starting to unlock the doors, there already 5 cars in the drive thru lane waiting, so what does she do walks around the whole building first and unlocks all those doors and then he goes and moves the cones when she has nobody waiting to get in the building, she clearly doesn't care that she's opening the business late and tries to get the line moving by moving the cones first, for a company that does awesome on a drive-thru line and moving the line they have the wrong person opening the business, she clearly needs to be a closer cuz I guarantee she closes the door right on time when the business closes

It's pretty clean and better than other chicken joints. They have a very efficient drive-thru setup and kind people working it.

Vino Bistro, located in Leesburg, is a delightful destination for wine aficionados and food lovers. The bistro offers a modern twist on traditional European dishes using locally sourced ingredients. As the name suggests, their wine selection is exceptional, making it a paradise for wine enthusiasts. Additionally, they offer popular dishes such as beef burgundy, lump crab cakes, and salmon teriyaki.
Date night and make it delicious! We finally made it to Vino Bistro for a belated Valentine's dinner, and it did not disappoint! From the perfectly crisp fried Brussels sprouts to the creamy butternut squash risotto and the melt-in-your-mouth braised short rib, every bite was a win. My husband loved the flavors but noted that portions lean on the smaller side for a 6'5 guy-so maybe don't bring husbands starving but definitely come for quality! Paired it all witha Sazerac cocktail, and now I'm already planning my next visit to try more of their dishes.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Vino Bistro and it was perfect! The team at Vino went above and beyond our expectations. The food was all terrific. Vino offered a 3 course menu with guests being able to choose their own entree. We had the caeser salad, angry shrimp and pork belly appetizers as appetizers which were huge hits! The short rib, schnitzel and the salmon with orzo were our entree options. The short rib was my favorite but everything was so good. Arguably the best was saved for last with 4 different desserts to choose from; tiramisu, creme brulee, bread pudding and a chocolate cake. The tiramisu was huge and delicious, and the chocolate cake was incredible! Vino also made his & hers cocktails for us which everyone loved. They offered to serve mocktails and of course wine and beer! The service was top notch from Vino. We had about 30 guests and everyone received their food an drinks quickly. The staff was friendly and really made the whole dinner a nice experience. They decorated the tables with flowers and had our rehearsal dinner menus and drink options printed out. I can't say enough about Vino and how well they did with our rehearsal dinner. What a great start to our wedding weekend!

We are regular customers at Vino Bistro and always enjoy the food, atmosphere and the great service. However, for this review I want to give a special thank you to Lori and staff for hosting a wonderful baby shower for my daughter!! Everything was perfect!! Lori went above and beyond expectations to create a warm/cozy atmosphere with plated meals and extra decorations that transformed the restaurant into an intimate space for the perfect baby shower. Many of the guests traveled from out of state to attend and they all raved about the atmosphere, food and the staff who treated everyone as if they were family. Thank you so much to Lori, Gloria (Jagger😊), Aaliyah…and all of Vino Bistro for an unforgettable experience!!

We held my son’s rehearsal dinner there and everything was fabulous! Lori did a beautiful job with setting up a beautiful table for us! Our food and drinks were outstanding! Everyone said it was their best meal ever! The service was top notch!! Would highly recommend hosting an event there!

Vino Bistro is one of my favorite spots in Leesburg. The food and wine are consistently good, but what truly sets it apart is the vibe—it’s elegant yet relaxed, lively without being overwhelming. The wine list is excellent, the menu has a strong mix of shareable plates and bistro classics, and the staff are knowledgeable and welcoming. The patio is perfect on warm evenings, and the atmosphere inside makes it just as enjoyable for a casual night out or a special occasion. If you’re looking for great food and wine in a place where you actually want to linger, Vino Bistro delivers.

We hosted our rehearsal dinner at Vino Bistro a few weeks ago and it was amazing in every facet. Compared to all other options in the area it was the clear winner - great service and atmosphere, amazing food and drinks, and very reasonable pricing. Going anywhere else would have been a mistake. Lori gave us the entire inside seating area for our party so it was a private affair. She also printed out menus for the guests and included one of our engagement photos on the front (you pick a limited three course menu for your guests ahead of time), and she decorated the entire table with candles and flowers. Everything from top to bottom was amazing, and all of the guests loved it. I'll be returning here often for dinner and drinks. If you're looking to host your rehearsal dinner, do yourself a favor and call Vino Bistro and ask for Lori!

We had an amazing time at Vino Bistro for our rehearsal dinner of ~42. Lori was super organized and hospitable, and she and the entire Vino Bistro team were very accommodating. Lori and her team went above and beyond decorating the tables with incredible attention to detail, and creating custom menus with a personalized photo. The wine and beer choice is outstanding, and their his/her cocktails were a huge success! The food was just as delicious. Highly recommend the brussel sprouts and jumbo lump crab cake! Although we did not have the whole restaurant to ourselves, it felt like we did, and other patrons were very kind honor our space. Our event took place during Advent, and the atmosphere inside and out was absolutely beautiful. The restaurant faced colorful lit displays of a gold present with red bow, and a massive Christmas tree that dynamically changed lighting patterns. We are so thrilled to have celebrated our rehearsal dinner with family and friends at Vino Bistro, and we look forward to visiting this hot spot in Leesburg again in the future!

Superb experience. Within one hour drive from DC,the place offers a beautiful landscape with facilities where they serve lunch and wine-tasting. The lunch we had was very nice which went well with their Chardonnay. The price was reasonable. Above all, service was superb. We had an unforeseen incident where staff were super professional, attentive, and handled it exceptionally well. Thumbs up.

Stone Tower Winery is such a peaceful and beautiful spot — perfect for a relaxing day out with the kids! I love that they have separate areas for families and a 21+ section, so everyone has a space that fits their vibe. The views are absolutely stunning — endless green vineyards and open skies. They had live music, amazing food, and of course, delicious wine. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, and parking was super easy with lots of space. A perfect blend of nature, great atmosphere, and family-friendly options. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We went here because other couple lives up the road (Leesburg). My first impression was: beautiful venue, okay wines, lots of throughput (think cheesecake factory). BUT! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was great. AND I really enjoyed the wines (with free tastes). The venue IS beautiful; we watched a bridal party taking pictures down by the pond. Overall great experience and I will return

Husband and I had the pleasure to join an estate wine tour at Stone Tower yesterday, last minute. It included a golf-cart tour of the property, behind-the-scenes production facilities included. Two other couples joined, very nice folks. Tasting along the tour included 8 wines, followed by a sit-down 4-course meal in their private club room. It is guided by an exceptional sommelier Kevin. We highly recommend visiting Stone Tower and try to book a tour if available. Property, wine and food all exceptional!

Enjoy our beautiful Virginia countryside views on summer end of September . We have wonderful afternoon till 6 pm with my cousins. Tried their signature house-made ciabatta. Also tried 3 different wins in test try. Then buy 2 wine bottles with food. Enjoy the food , wine and summer view. It was feel like having the best moment of life. A place for family, friends and date too. I would love to go there again this summer.

Overall great experience! We went there when there was almost no one around. The atmosphere was very peaceful and a lovely place to just walk around and drink wine with no distractions. The scenery was absolutely amazing! The cheese plate delivered way more than I expected I was very surprised about that. I am used to DC portions to be very small for a high dollar amount this was actually very reasonable for the price. The staff was kind and knowledgeable about their wines. Perfect place to get away from the city which is an hour away. We will be coming back here in the future!

Leesburg Animal Park is a small zoo that offers a diverse collection of exotic wildlife from around the world. It features zebras, lemurs, parrots, iguanas, camels, llamas, sloths, squirrel monkeys and dromedary camels. The park also includes a petting zoo, feeding barn, pony rides and play structures for kids and families to enjoy.
We loved this place. We had a 13, 5 and 1 year old and they all had a blast! They had so many animals that you could feed and even hold. They had a few different grounds and mini houses to play in. We happened to be there when a magic show was performed and our 5 year old loved that! We spent 4+ hours here. It was a great way to spend the afternoon. I will say staff wasnt the friendliest and I thought it was strange that we were handed our wrist bands to put on ourselves. Otherwise I had no complaints Also it got busier as the day went on so earlier the better!

A fun place to bring our smaller children. Has a good amount of play structures and a decent amount of animals. It has been worth the hour commute to get here and the ticket fees. The only down side is trying to explain to my kids multiple times why they can’t use any of the moon bounces even though they are blown up. Also there is no food options besides some snacks in the main areas.
Stephanie B — Google review
The park has some playgrounds and some animals. It is pretty fun for the kids, but the park is not as big as the zoos. There are over 2 dozens of different kinds of animals, including llamas, turtles, serval, zebras, snakes, etc. I think the park more closely resembles an animal farms. The playgrounds and slide are very kids friendly. Over all we had a good experience, but the entire park can be visited within 2 hours, so i personally don't think it's worth it to have a seasonal pass.

Wonderful kids activity for anyone who lives in the local area. I had heard about it for years and decided to check it out, and was pleasantly surprised at how many animals they had and how friendly the staff were! We will definitely be back another weekend day when we need a good 1/2 day kids activity.
Susanna M — Google review
We had a fun time at the Animal Park. A friend in our group had a manual wheelchair which was challenging on the gravel pathways and hills, but was doable with us helping her. Pay attention to signs about which animals can be fed or not, most that can are in the upper barn area. It was great to be able to handfeed several animals - the goats were particularly eager. I do appreciate that all of the animals had a sign telling us about their breed. It would be great if they could all also share their names/info specific to the individual animal(s) there like likes/dislikes. They have some smaller animals indoors like snakes and a chinchilla, but most are outside through the gift shop. There were also slides on the hill and play structures available, so your family can choose to play as well during your visit and make the most of your time/money spent on entry. There was plenty of available on-site parking when we went on a Sunday in the late morning. I bought my ticket online in advance but had to buy my animal food in person which was an extra $5, which includes the cup if you want to take it home as a souvenir. Note, however, that they do have a 'refill' coin-operated machine (like the candy ones) for $0.50 in the barn as well.
Rebecca T — Google review
First time visiting and we went for the fall festival but the fact you can see and feed the animals is included in the ticket, we could not say no! Everyone was polite and friendly! Will be back.

What a gem! My husband, toddler daughter, and I visited last weekend for their Pumpkin Village Fall Fest and had so much fun. My husband's lived here his whole life and was surprised he had never been! We bought our tickets online and got in quickly, even for a busy Sunday afternoon. I love that even though it's popular, the park is big enough where you don't feel suffocated by crowds. The layout is very spacious. The animals all looked like they were well cared for, and keepers walked around to make sure both visitors and animals were safe. They have sheep, goats, ponies, zebu cattle, an Aldabra tortoise, Sicilian donkeys - and these are just the animals you immediately see! I was so surprised they had gibbons! Lemur island was so cool, and their mirror carp were so bizarre but interesting to observe as they shimmied across the pond. Only 2 of their animals were pacing (coatis) but their habitat looked clean and full of enrichment items. We were lucky to go when the food trucks were visiting and treated ourselves to Ford's Fish Shack's food truck. They also had Ben and Jerry's! When our daughter is older, I know she will have a blast with all the rides and play areas like the big slide and bouncy house. We all had so much fun, and got free cookies and cider at the end! We will definitely be back next year!!
Kate S — Google review
Absolutely fantastic place, kind staff, lots of things to do with a kid! We loved the petting zoo, the animals are so well cared for and loved! It’s so important for me to go to a place where animals are treated well! We did a pony ride for our toddler and she absolutely loved it. Our other favorites included the many (many!) slides, play areas, multiple bounce houses, the cars, the hay stacks, the corn pit (like a sandbox). Don’t listen to negative reviews, we read them too, still went and found this place to be absolutely fantastic! 100/10 PS Wednesdays are reduced pricing!

Bakery
Dolce & Ciabatta Bakery, located at The Shoppes at Kings Corner in Leesburg, VA, is a popular spot known for its espresso bar serving a variety of hot and iced espresso-based drinks. Their baked goods are handmade using artisan techniques and baked in a stone-hearth German-engineered oven.
Coffee Shop No. 401 Dolce & Ciabatta Bakery Leesburg, VA I am so thankful my goal wasn’t to try to visit 1000 bakeries because if they were anywhere as good as Dolce & Ciabatta I would probably need to invest in larger looser fitting clothes. The deliciousness that permeated through this shop was heavenly. I walked out with a bag of rolls, three baguette, two mini baguettes, and 6 butter croissants. While in the shop I had their almond croissant and a muffin. Oh my…talk about no will power. I obviously have none when a bakery smells this good! Sadly, cortados were not on the menu. The friendly woman taking my order didn’t know what one was and there was a line behind me so I ordered a double cappucino with less than normal milk and a lower the temperature of the milk. It sounds was more complicated when I type it. Anyhow, the cappucino was made exactly how I ordered it and I enjoyed sipping on it while I ate the most amazing almond croissant of my entire life.

We’ve been a number of times and I just realized I hadn’t left a review. I was turned on to the bakery with a recommendation about their kouign amann. Apparently it’s popular, so you either need to go early or luck out. The cream puffs and cookies are great, but I finally got a kouign amann. It’s a lovely pastry. The sugar/thin layer of caramel on the top is substantial without being too thick. Just enough to hold and break apart. The laminated dough is nice as well. Not overly buttery, but still light and fluffy.

We just went to pick up some goodies for my birthday today. We got home and my daughter couldn't wait to try everything. We each took a bite from the slice of raspberry cheesecake. Not bad, but my daughter grabbed the raspberry off of the slice to eat it and it was molded! 👀 My sibling loves D&C and frequents the cafe regularly, so I was very surprised. The staff were very friendly and the prices were affordable so I really wanted to love it. We also bought lemon pound cake and a chocolate cream puff. Highly recommend the cream puff!! Hopefully this is just a one-off bad batch of raspberries…😳

Small interior so don't expect to eat here, but they had really quick service even when I went on a busy day. The pastries they have are absolutely beautiful. The coffee cake muffin was good, I'd recommend. Dont get the Nutella creme volcano. It's just bread with a sweet outer, I had maybe a teaspoon of Nutella on top and that was it... Employees were so nice and friendly.

Just passing thru Leesburg and needed a quick lunch and so happy we found Dolce & Ciabatta!! We had a couple sandwiches on their amazing Italian bread that was light airy and grilled to perfection, the lettuce and tomato slices were fresh and ripe and sauces were delicious and thankfully not overpowering to the bread, the real star of the show! As if that wasn’t great enough, Mom and I couldn’t resist the beautiful desserts calling us from the display cases. She had a raspberry eclair and I had an almond croissant. YUM!!! Best almond croissant, EVER!!! However, I can’t attest to the eclair’s deliciousness since mom devoured it without even offering me a taste! 🥹😆

Dolce and Ciabatta provided the perfect cupcakes to help my daughter and her friends celebrate Taylor Swift's album release. The team at D&C took my vague request of "orange and green cupcakes" and turned them into a work of art. The process was easy and the cupcakes were as delicious as they were beautiful.

I am not exaggerating when I say that Dolce & Ciabatta is the best bakery in Northern Virginia. If you’re looking for authentic French baguettes, croissants and macarons, this is the place. Looking for a delicious custom birthday cake or even a last minute one - again, this is the place. Fancy pastries and tarts for afternoon tea? You won’t find any prettier or tastier anywhere. Looking for a pumpkin pie or Yule log during the holidays? Order them here! On top of all the usual baked goods and breads they have fabulous sandwiches for breakfast or lunch and excellent coffee. You can order ahead online or by phone too. Parking can be tight especially on weekends and if you wait until the end of the day you can expect the selection to be slim. However, everything is delicious and worth trying so you really can’t go wrong. The staff are all so friendly and helpful too. Highly recommend!

What can I even say to describe some of the best pastries, cakes, breads and sandwiches I've ever had in my 56 years of life. This small shop in Leesburg puts out huge quality products. I knew I was in for something special when I pulled up to a full parking lot and a line inside the store at 10am on a Saturday morning. The line moved quick and I was able to pick up a baguette, a breakfast sandwich, a pastry, coffee and the very special pumpkin spice Halloween Cake I had originally come to pick up. I was not disappointed at all either as I wolfed down my breakfast sandwich and drank my coffee immediately in my car. The vibe in the store was exciting, electric and super friendly. The service was fast and friendly which made the whole experience top notch!

Located in Leesburg, the Leesburg Diner is a classic American eatery that has been serving up traditional home-style dishes for over a century. While Loudoun County is renowned for its wine scene, Leesburg has also become a popular spot for coffee enthusiasts. The town's King Street boasts several craft coffee shops, creating what is known as the Leesburg Coffee Corridor.
Have been here only for breakfast a handful of times but have never left a review. The food here is great in my opinion. I ordered the country fried steak with eggs and hashbrowns. The food was seasoned with visible specks of black pepper so I knew I wouldn’t have to add additional salt and pepper. While this was the case for the main part of my breakfast, it wasn’t for the gravy that came with the country fried steak. The gravy was bland and lacking in seasoning, it also was quite runny where I prefer my gravy to be a bit thicker. Other than that, the service was great and food came out quickly. Leesburg diner is definitely a breakfast fave of mine and I will always come back

This was our first time here and as much as I'd like to give a better review, my experience was not that great. We did love the I overall feel of diner and we were greeted and treated nice. The reason for the low rating was the food. Apparently, we came right when s big order was placed and our order got bumped down. We didn't receive our food for over an hour and fifteen minutes and when we got it, it was cold. We ended up getting meal free but we took that food home, reheated and it was delicious. My suggestion: if this happens for other guests, it would be great to let them know so that they are not waiting too long. It also would help to make sure that when serving food late that the customer's food is fresh and hot. We might be back again soon and maybe then offer a better (follow-up) rating. I do believe in second chances. The waitresses were great though. I wish I remembered their names. They were very polite and apologetic and I still wanted to pay for my portion but they would not let me.

Very intimate setting. Super cozy. Excellent downtown vibes. Fair prices. I stopped in for corned beef hash and was pleasantly surprised. It looks nothing like mom’s corned beef hash but it tasted so good. Half of the potatoes were like home fries and half were almost like thickly-cut potato chips. Leesburg Diner is definitely in my top five for downtown Leesburg. Great place to visit with guests from out of town looking to experience a Leesburg.

Hiking area
Red Rock Wilderness Overlook Regional Park is a highly recommended hiking trail located near Leesburg, Virginia. This short and easy hike offers stunning views and takes you through various habitats. The trail starts with a steep climb, followed by an easier descent before returning to the starting point. Although there is a slightly steep trail leading down to the river side, the hike is relatively easy and suitable for people with health conditions such as fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis.
This is a great place for a quick hike with diverse topography. You get a good view of the Potomac River and can choose a variety of trail options that are well marked. There are historical markers by the parking lot describing the old homestead.
Morgan L — Google review
Short and easy hike with great views of the Potomac. Lightly trafficked, good for kids and dogs. The trail is well marked and maintained, but there are some places where you might want to get off the trail and go explore. Just be careful if you do so since the terrain can be steep and slippery. There's one point where you can walk right up to the water. The parking lot can accommodate a few dozen cars, but just wait a bit if it's full. The hike is short enough that there's bound to be someone returning to their car to leave soon.
Raymond L — Google review
Nice little, walk through the woods, overlook has a good view of the river. Part of the trail can be slippery when wet. Overlook has a fence to help prevent people from falling. I went in the morning and it was very peaceful.

This is a beautiful and historic park. The land was part of a farm from the late 1800's to early 1900's. The placards designating the different buildings that are part of the site are informational and well kept, but the park could generally use more signs and trail markers. It's still a good experience, but I would recommend taking a picture of the map before you set out. There aren't too many miles of trail, but some of the terrain is steep. Due to the short distances, however, the hiking never becomes strenuous. Once you reach the Potomac the sights are something to behold.

20231105 Great workout!! It has been a long time since I came here. So happy I came back today. This is my first time visiting this park. To my surprise, it is very clean. There is a small parking lot that will accommodate about 20 cars. There are ruins with description of each building. Very interesting and educational. The trails are dirt covered with many exposed roots, and very well mark - color code is marked on the trees. Along the water, there is a trail that is not part of the trail map. To get there, take the Green/White from the left side of the parking lot, with the road behind you. It is a short walk to the water, about 1/4 mile. Be careful when you walk downhill to the water, the trail slopes down with deep steps. Walking up to the trail from the water is a great workout... Up hill. As I continue on the White/Green Trail, eventually, it parallels with the water, and there are 2 overlooks with fences along the cliff. Both provide a nice view of the river. To get to the overlooks, it is a steep downhill followed by an steep uphill hike. Great workout! I discovered that you don't need to back track from the overlooks back onto the trail. There is a trail at the top where the overlooks are that connects and continues you to the White/Green trail. So, when you get to the first overlook on your left, take the trail by the first of to the 2nd overlook on your left. It connects to the White/Green trail to continue on. When I reached the part of the trail that gave me a view of the Leesburg Water Treatment Plant, the trail was blocked by a fallen tree. I walked around to the right and climbed over another fallen tree to get around it. From there, the walk to the parking lot was a short one. I will definitely return to this park again. Great workout on the White/Green trail. Recommend wear hiking shoes.

Really love this little park. It has great trails with lots to see including an area overlooking the Potomac River. It is gorgeous in the spring when wildflowers are in bloom! Great little hike for dogs as well. The trails are well maintained and there is plenty of parking. The old stone buildings near the parking lot make for great photography backdrops.

Beautiful easy hike though a bit of slippery spots on the rainy day I visited. The path is clearly heavily trafficked but was not so on my weekday visit. Beautiful flora and visits from many fauna! Lovely, large mulberry at the parking area and some interesting historical spots as well.

Restaurant
Traditional American diner operating for over 100 years serves a familiar menu of homey fare.
Really the best place to eat breakfast in the historic district in Leesburg. Great old timey diner on King Street. Great atmosphere and service. Oozes charm! (I did write this after the Mimosa Flight) You can't really tell from the outside. Food delish! Kaitlyn was awesome!!!

This review is based on my experience as a consumer and then as a chef. (As a side note, that part of Leesburg is very pretty, quite similar to the Netherlands.) Leesburg Diner 9 S King St, Leesburg, VA 20175 Date: Sunday, April 13 2025 Time: 8:30 AM Ratings (0-10, 10 being the best): * **Hostess:** 7/10 (The diner wasn't crowded, but the hostess seemed a bit distracted.) * **Waitress:** 7/10 (Average service) * **Busser:** (Jordan provided excellent service and made us feel very comfortable.) **Food & Drinks:** * **Orange juice:** 10/10 (Very good) * **Coffee:** 7/10 (Although the place smelled strongly of coffee, the taste was average.) * **Omelette with ham and cheese:** 10/10 (The color and portion size were excellent, although the ham was forgotten.) * **Hashbrowns:** 10/10 (Very good, not dry, and well-seasoned) * **Waffles and fried chicken:** * Fried chicken: 20/10 (Excellent) * Waffles: 6/10 (Very soft and undercooked) Overall, the place is very nice, and I would come back again to try it for lunch or dinner.

This was an amazing experience! The staff were friendly the restaurant was clean nice and the food tasted amazing! The wait time was long and they forgot my milkshake at first but it was worth it in the end I also think its a very reasonable price we paid 37 in total for two drinks and meals

Waitstaff was pleasant and attentive. The food was delicious and outstanding. We had Hibiscus pancakes, corn chowder, and an eggsalad. All we're equally delicious. Had a blueberry lemonade, which was very refreshing. We went on a day that was busy, so it was a bit loud, but overall, it was not bad. 10/10 would recommend

Fast food restaurant
Roy Rogers is a regional chain named after a famous American cowboy actor. Their menu includes burgers and other fast-food options. On my first visit, I was pleased with the experience. The breakfast sandwich I had was made with fluffy eggs and served on sourdough bread that was twice the size of what you'd find at Chick-fil-A. The bacon was thinly sliced, which added to the overall enjoyment of the meal.
Fast food that tastes like good food! And not part of a megaconglomerate 🙂 Can't beat Roy's. Food prep always seems a little chaotic with a slightly longer wait than other fast food, but it's well worth it.
Todd K — Google review
The food was terrible!!! The baked beans load with sugar! The cold slaw, I was afraid to eat. The chicken was hard and dry. My wife and I at one piece of chicken, because I was very hungry and she had just taken some medicine. Roy Roger’s at one time was good. Second time disappointed, I can’t do it again!!

I had a wonderful experience at the Royy Rogerz on S. King St. thanks to CC and Brian you guys are the best! The restaurant was nice and clean. The employees were polite and presentable, and the toppings bar looked spectacular. That's actually what caught my eye first from the lettuce down to the sauces. Everything looked just looked fresh and in place. The double R bar burger was definitely delicious and overall, I would highly recommend you to give them a try.

Haven't been to a Roy Rogers in years and years, ... food was surprisingly pretty good. We had bone-in friend chicken (a little over done with the frying) and tenders. Fries were really good, but I got an upsized version (costed more) without asking for it. The restaurant was clean but it is dated (especially the bathrooms). The best part was the very pleasant cashier. I'd score a little higher but the Google rating only lets you do whole numbers. I would likely return.

I like the food here, really good for fast food. Super friendly people. It's not very convenient for me but I go when I'm in the area at lunch time. Why only 1 star you ask? Im being petty and throwing a bit of a tantrum. On the receipt it says to scan the QR code, take a brief survey and get a free brownie. So I did this while I ate my lunch. AFTER I took the survey, I get an email saying we'll send you a brownie in 24 hours, after we review what you said. So if you're just passing through, and can't get by a Roy's very often, dont bother taking a survey for a free brownie.

I was delighted with my first ever visit at Roy Rogers. The layered fluffy egg sandwich was on sourdough bread two times the size of chickfila. The pirate are thinly sliced. Really great. Staff tho was very impatient and not pleasant.

Delivery Restaurant
Manhattan Pizza is a casual eatery in New York that specializes in offering a variety of food options like pizza, pasta, wings, and sandwiches. Recently, they successfully handled a big order of 11 pizzas for an event without any issues and ensured that each pizza was labeled correctly. The service provided by Manhattan Pizza was exceptional, and the taste of their offerings was superb. This level of flawless service is rarely seen these days. Customers have been enjoying the freshness of their food from the first bite.
The pizza was delicious, the staff was wonderful, the gelato was incredible, the fountain drinks were refreshing and tasted great, and the bathrooms were clean. This was an amazing experience in every way! In 2025, if the only negative part of the experience is how dull the plastic knives were, that says a lot about how amazing the restaurant is! We were not rushed to order when we were looking at the menu and the employee taking our order was kind and read our order back to us to ensure its accuracy. The pizzas were hot and had plenty of toppings the whole way to the edge of the crust. Great attention was paid to keep the gluten free pizzas safe from cross contamination, as they were in a second pan so that they would not touch where the "normal" crusts were. After we finished eating, we tried free samples of out-of-this-world gelato. Overall, this entire experience was incredible and I would recommend this location to anyone in, or not in, the Leesburg area.

My family orders from Manhattan Pizza a couple of times a month. This is one of our typical cheat night, go to places for good pizza and subs. My mother in law is very particular about Philly Cheese Steaks since she is from Philly, and this is the second she has gotten in a couple of weeks because she is enjoying them. My son and I shared a cheese pizza. I do think the pizza could have used a little more cheese as some of the slices were a bit dry, but the pizza was cooked perfectly. I think next time I will order extra cheese. My husband was also very happy with his cheese steak and was happy to see all of his customizations were honored. We also enjoyed French fries and onion rings and they were delicious. Overall, we are typically always happy with our orders from this restaurant and we will absolutely order in the future.

Some nights, you just need an easy, delicious dinner-cue Manhattan Pizza! We went with half pepperoni, half pepperoni & green pepper, and it hit the spot. Perfect for a no-cook kind of night!

I have to eat here every time I go to Leesburg! I ❤️ their Grilled Chicken Ceasar! This is the only place I know you get more chicken than salad! And the pizza is awesome too!! This is a franchise, but you would never know it!! The owners/managers must be great people because the staff is always great, the restaurant is always spotless!!!

Just wanted a quick sandwich for lunch, and had not been to MP in a minute. Great choice. Food was outstanding, service super friendly, and I was on my way in ten minutes. A+

We ordered a large pizza, meatball sub, and garlic knots tonight. The pizza was delivered completely smashed, it was terrible. All up in the corner and folded in half. My husband called and spoke to Andrew, he was immediately apologetic and gave us the option for a credit or a fresh pizza. We have a few people here and could only salvage half the pizza so asked for a fresh one. We asked if they wanted a picture and they said absolutely not. Our fresh perfectly looking pizza arrived at our door in 15 mins. We believe he also delivered with an apology and a smile. It was truly appreciated and everything was hot and delicious! Manhattan will continue to be our favorite pizza spot in Leesburg!

I ordered a calzone, to eat in. I waited 25 minutes and no calzone. I asked if my food was ready, and the guy working said he thought I'd already eaten. I guess there was a change in shift. He checked and my food had been ready. It was lukewarm when he gave it to me. He did offer to reheat it for me. But if I'm eating in I don't want reheated food. He offered to make a new one, but I didn't want to wait another 20 minutes. I took my food and left. My lunch hour is just about over and I'm eating lukewarm food. I could see if it was busy things get overlooked. But that was not the case at all.

Chick-fil-A is a beloved fast-food chain renowned for its delicious chicken sandwiches and nuggets, complemented by a variety of salads and sides. This particular location stands out for its exceptional service and welcoming atmosphere, where friendly staff go the extra mile to ensure a delightful dining experience. Guests rave about the outstanding quality of the food, from perfectly cooked chicken to delectable shakes. The menu also caters to various dietary preferences with vegetarian options and a kids' menu that delights younger diners.
Came in for a cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich on a weekday morning. They weren’t busy and the service I got was perfect. The sandwich tasted great, it was fresh, and hot, and put together quite nicely. The coffee was great too. Lobby and restroom were both well stocked and clean. Definitely would return when in the area!

Had a long day over a long weekend. Wanted to get a good meal but i got noting but carton cold food. Got 2 meals thought drive-thru around 9:30 pm today good Friday. When i got home notice the fries are cold, old, feels like gum, did not eat them beuce they did not look eatable, the sandwich tested warm but long time under the warm light , meat was hard and overcook on the edges. This is not the first time. I understand they want to leave at 10 pm. For $27.72 they cherge me for 2 meals the food should look and be fresh not like carton or shoe. Wont be stopping to this chick fil-A at the night time for meals.

The best Chick-fil-a that I've been to of all time. Beyond exceptional service, quick & apt ordering and delivery, warmth and friendliness are a few of the traits that make this location stand out. The overall experience provided by the staff here deserves more than the highest praises. Also special shoutout to the morning crew. They are on a different level!

This chick fi la goes above and beyond with their service, this waiter when I asked for a mint went above and beyond and gave like 30 mints for my whole table, and when I ordered soup they not only gave me my soup but also 13 saltine crackers. I am pretty sure Gordon Ramsay would endorse this place because of how high quality its is. I think I got closer to Jesus here no cap.

Staff very kind and easy to place my order, however the drive through is so slow. Insanely slow. So much for picking up a quick dinner. Maybe they don't have enough staff which is understandable, but gosh it took a long time. My salad was super tasty when I finally got it, the spicy southwest salad!
