Park
Camden Hills State Park is a sprawling 5,700-acre mountainous park in Camden, Maine. It features a campground and an extensive network of 30 miles of well-mapped hiking trails that cater to various skill levels. The highlight is the moderately difficult climb up Mt. Megunticook, offering stunning vistas of Downtown Camden and Penobscot Bay.
Such incredible views if you go up to the summit at Mt. Battie. There are also miles and miles of trails to traverse and explore, including one that runs parallel to the ocean along the cliffside. Stunning.

Drive up the mountain to enjoy panoramic view of the midcoast region. Short walking distance to the tower that overlooks Camden harbor. In July, the woods around the tower are filled with Maine wild blueberries 🫐

We camped here for a few nights and enjoyed the campground. When checking in the woman at check in was helpful and very nice. Site was great, park was quiet at night, and the other campers were friendly. Would camp here again. Oh- and Mt Battie view is AMAZING.
Rose M — Google review
The view from the top of Mount Battie is absolutely gorgeous. In the fall it must be amazing!! We’ve been there several times through the years. They’ve made some improvements including a lead up sidewalk from the parking area which is wheelchair accessible. It cost $12 and change to enter the parking area which for 2 out of state residents in a vehicle.
John K — Google review
Cool state park in a great location. We camped one night in the off season. Park staff were friendly and helpful. We drove up to enjoy the view which is pretty spectacular, had dinner in Camden, then returned to the site for a warm campfire on a cool night. There are trails for hiking, decent cycling options, we saw a ton of wild turkeys. Only downside is that the bathroom/showers aren't quite at the level we're used to with the PA State Parks that we frequent. The campsites are spaced nicely so some are not right on top of each other, some are, but we had a lot of options this late in the season.

Camden Hills State Park is an absolute gem! The park offers stunning viewpoints overlooking Camden Harbor, Penobscot Bay, and the surrounding forests — the kind of scenery that makes every step worth it. Whether you hike up or drive to the top, the views are gorgeous throughout. Highly recommend visiting, especially on a clear day when you can see the islands spread out across the bay. 🌲⛰️✨
Megha A — Google review
This was our basecamp for visiting Camden. We love the town and the park. Clean, safe, friendly. If you're camping, there's no additional fee to drive up Mt. Battie. We discovered that Edna St. Vincent Milay wrote a poem about the view!

Beautiful scenery and nice woodsy hikes. The viewpoints are stunning and parking was easy throughout the park.

Deli
Bakery
Coffee shop
Camden Deli is a charming family-owned restaurant in Camden, serving gourmet sandwiches, homemade soups, and salads since 1985. The menu features touches of Maine, offering breakfast with options like bagels and lox, as well as crab salad and omelets for lunch and dinner. The deli also offers a decent draft special during happy hour. Guests can enjoy their expansive menu on the fantastic rooftop patio with stunning views of Megunticook Falls and Camden Harbor.
The sandwiches are fresh, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients. The staff was polite and helpful with questions about the area also. I loved the roast turkey sandwich but they have tons of other things to order. For a special experience, grab your meal and take it down to the harbor to watch the boats come and go. Perfect for a relaxing meal with a view! Local Guide Tip - Bring your camera! The light here is absolutely incredible in the morning and afternoon.
Anthony B — Google review
Great location right in Camden downtown, you can enjoy your sandwich by the window with a nice view of the bay. So many sandwich and dessert options, everything looked so good. I ordered the fantastic focaccia and it was absolutely delicious. I also had an iced latte but can’t say I loved it. The only negative point for me was that tables were not wiped down between uses, since it’s an order on the counter situation, the staff doesn’t really pays attention to how clean tables are. I will definitely be back.
Thais S — Google review
Outstanding! Every server I saw or interacted with was super friendly and attentive. I sat upstairs so I got table side service. I ordered the Italian sub on a baguette and a black coffee. I didn’t intend to eat the whole thing but I couldn’t help it. It was so good!!! The baguette was very fresh, and the meats and cheese were perfectly stacked and fresh and tasty. The coffee was great!! I really can’t say anything bad because it was all good. Price was reasonable and seating was very comfortable. The interactions I saw between servers and other folks was friendly and helpful. If I lived around here I’d come as often as possible. Photo only has half pictured because I agree the first half within seconds.

Deli food at its best! We stopped in for a sandwich on the go and the staff was quick to steer us to a perfectly balanced focaccia!! Like look at that thing! It was delicious as take out but also looked like a nice place to dine in while out on the town.
Mark N — Google review
If we've learned anything from our extended US East Coast road trip, it's to find the best Deli or equivalent supermarket in your destination, buy your lunch or dinner there, and eat at a beautiful spot of your choice. That's the case here, too. The Camden Deli has everything you desire. The sandwiches are super delicious by the way. Take them to Camden Harbor at sunset and enjoy the entertainment and hustle and bustle. You keep that much longer in your head than a restaurant visit.
Mike — Google review
Pretty nice place. Right by the water, didn't have to wait very long for the food, and even at a tourist-y place the prices weren't too crazy either. Even bought a huge and delicious brownie for like $5 here. Not too shabby of a spot to stop if you need a quick bite to eat.
Naomi B — Google review
My husband ,myself and another couple stop in on Saturday for lunch. I had the Chicken bacon ranch,my husband had the club sandwich ,my friend had the toasted cheese with tomatoes and bacon and the last sandwich was an Italian sandwich. These were the very best we've had in a long time!!! And you have to grab a dessert...amazing... The girls behind the counter were so nice!! If your in Camden you having e to visit the deli...you will love it❤❤
Sheila B — Google review
Had a very good sandwich (The Olad)! Also ordered pasta salad (a little bland) and the peanut butter cup brownie which was pretty good. Sandwich was great, would be better if eaten onsite vs to go. We got there and ordered at 5:30, they close at 6 and were cleaning dining room. Took about 25 min to get our two sandwiches. They were worth the wait.

Italian restaurant
Camden House of Pizza is a beloved family-owned restaurant that has been serving the Camden Maine community for over two decades. Known for its delicious pizza and Greek cuisine, the menu also features pasta dinners, gyros, sandwiches, and salads. Whether you're in the mood for a customized pizza or a quick slice on-the-go, there's something to satisfy every craving. The restaurant also offers an extensive selection of everyday favorites like burgers and fries.
My husband and I enjoyed dinner here on a weeknight. Not super busy, prices were great, and the food was YUM! We got an order of Mozzarella Sticks, a Large Margherita Pizza, and Spaghetti and Meatballs. The staff were all very kind!
Annah N — Google review
I tried ordering online but the website would not cooperate. We ordered close to 7:00 at night and they said it would take about a half hour to make. The food was almost ready when we got there the place was very difficult to find. The pizza seemed like they purchase the pre-bought pizza crust like you get in the grocery store. The toppings were limited the cheese almost nonexistent. The best thing about the salad we got was the tomatoes they were fresh. If I had the capability I would have bought my own pizza at a grocery store and baked it at home it would have been more satisfying. There's a sign on the building that says it's for sale so I don't know what that means if they're looking for a newer larger place. This seems to be a favorite of locals because the place was busy.

Small sized pizza place well located in the heart of the town, near harbor. Service is great, food is tasty. Ambiance is cozy. I recommend!

This review is based solely on the interaction I had with the staff at the store. I haven’t tried the food yet but if the food is as excellent as their staff, I’m in for a treat. I placed an order on DoorDash. A dasher accepted the order and then cancelled. I knew the restaurant was closing and I was worried the dasher wouldn’t get there before the restaurant closed. I contacted DoorDash but there wasn’t anything they could do beyond getting a new delivery driver which only pushed back the delivery time. I called the restaurant and they were so kind. They have the food ready and it was being kept warm and they assured me they would stay until the order was picked up. They were not angry. In fact, they really were cool about it. I hate that my order caused them to have to stay late and I’m extremely thankful that they did and they did it with a great attitude. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch the name of the employee but I hope the owner sees this and recognizes their employee so he gets the credit he deserves. Thank you Camden House of Pizza for hiring quality staff ♥️ Edit- we have received our meal and it is delicious!! My fiancé is Italian and he loved it! He’s had the same meal in Italy and he said this ranks up there with the best he has had.

Friendly, and relatively quick service. Calzone and pizza were much better than anticipated. I'll definitely visit this place again. It's a couple of minutes walk from the main shopping district in Camden on a side street with a few ships. Much easier to get a seat right away than the places on the main street

Schooner Appledore II offers a delightful sailing experience in Camden, Maine. Despite foggy conditions, the captain managed to take the small group of passengers on a memorable day sail. The two-masted schooner provides a fun and comfortable ride, with a friendly crew that ensures an enjoyable time for all on board. Even in overcast weather with minimal wind, raising the sails and cruising along is still highly recommended.
We went today and it was a very enjoyable experience!! Our crew of Sean, Max n Crew…. meaning passenger participants too guided us safely through the Bay n Back to Camden Harbor! Making the day even better with a big added Dose of fun n laughs was meeting the 6 lady group from Boston! The Appledore II is an excursion worth taking! i even bought a shirt to commemorate my time! Thank you & Happy Sailing to All! cB

What an amazing time! The crew went above and beyond—they kept us safe, but also made us feel so welcome and at ease the entire trip. They were personable, fun, and really made the experience special. We even got to help raise the sails and snap pictures steering the boat! Add in their delicious margaritas (with souvenir cups to take home) and it truly was a great time all around. Hope to go back again!

Excellent cruise! The boat is a classic one of 200 wooden vessels actively used commercially. The cruise is peaceful and the sites are stunning departing the Camden port into the bay. The crew was very professional and very kind. Capt Shawn and First Mates Mary and Andy steered the sailboat like a dream team. My wife and I were even able to assist in raising the sails! Although be advised if volunteering for that duty canvas sails are deceptively heavy. A must to-do in town!

My husband and I had a great experience on our sunset sail! The captain (Shawn) and his crew (Andy and Mary) were awesome. Andy shared so much great information. And it was fun to watch them do all that they do to sail this boat! They really know their stuff! Very enjoyable two hours. Thank you!

We had an amazing time! We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and this was a perfect ending to an amazing day! Captain Pablo and crew, Mary and Andy, were very personable and entertaining. Of course, Mother Nature had a hand as well with a beautiful evening. We would definitely recommend the Appledore and her crew to our friends and family. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

My wife and I booked the sunset cruise on Schooner Appledore II on Friday, 8/08, out of Camden Harbor, Camden, Maine. From beginning to end, the experience was professional, fun, entertaining, beautiful, informative, all while enjoying some great beverages served during our 2-hour cruise. Captain Pablo and his two two crew-members, Andy and Mary, were fabulous! Besides being great hosts (which they were), more importantly, they made sure our trip was safe and comfortable for all on board. The Appledore II annd crew are in Camden all summer, then most winters they sail the Appledore II down to Key West, FL, for the winter. We are from Georgia and are enjoying our first trip to the Maine coast. We will be back to Camden area again. However, we are also looking at the possibility of heading to Key West this winter and taking another cruise with Captain Pablo and crew down there!

Excellent tour. The weather was perfect, so the trip was too. Crew of 3 were extremely communicative, customer centric, knowledgeable of the area and fun-fessional. Had a bit of trouble finding the departure location (thanks to GPS), but left a voicemail and got a call back very quickly. They guided us verbally, staying on the phone until we in sight. VERY helpful.

Restaurant
Peter Ott's on the Water is a well-established waterfront restaurant in Camden, offering a diverse menu featuring American cuisine with a focus on steaks, pastas, and local seafood. Situated directly on the Camden Harbor, it provides stunning panoramic views. The owner and chef, Peter Masin-Peters, who is often present at the restaurant, aims to blend local flavors with international influences.
There was a wait when we arrived but we were lucky enough to find seats at the bar. We were waited on my Casey, who was very knowledgeable about the menu & cocktails. The restaurant was busy with a lot of families & large groups but the food was flying out of the kitchen & looked amazing. We ordered a scallop special & goat cheese & beet salad with salmon. Both were phenomenal 👏 A must try restaurant when/ if you find yourself in Camden, ME!
Tina W — Google review
My husband and I had a delicious and delightful lunch here today. We sat inside. The restaurant is very clean and obviously has a fantastic view. I ordered the sirloin and it was prepared as ordered and excellent. I got it without the sauce because I'm gluten-free. (Side note is that they don't offer gluten-free bread.) My husband got the lobster roll and said it was also really good. I deducted a star because first we were overcharged and after I pointed it out it took ten minutes for our server to have it fixed. Also, I didn't notice until we got home that we never received the 10% locals discount even though I mentioned we live in Maine (but I live two hours away so too late for them to adjust). I do think it's awesome that they offer that, though, so be sure to mention it if you live in Maine (and check your bill!)
Averyl H — Google review
This review is a ‘tale of two cities’ type of a situation, a great experience with the server, but a most unusual and negative occurrence at the very end. This restaurant is conveniently located on the Camden waterfront where most harbor/bay tours depart. It offers indoor/outdoor seating by the water. This past weekend with the windjammer festival, the town had a very healthy number of tourists, I being one of them. I gave this place a try, and given the late evening hour, I was able to secure a table outside with a great view. The experience was pleasant from the start; the server (Sarah M) had a very gregarious and friendly attitude; not to mention how attentive she was. The menu is full of seafood delights, and the daily specials looked equally tantalizing. After an engaging discourse with Sarah about the options I was contemplating, I settled on the Lobster corn chowder. Alas, they mixed up the order and I got the Clam chowder instead. I didn’t mind, and didn’t fuss about it. The clams were luscious and the soup was just the right texture. I then had the Maple pan seared Scallops, which were a delight. Definitely recommend this dish, especially since it is served with two sides. Normally, the sides are small accompaniments; but these were hearty portions. I had the house salad, which was very fresh, and sweet potato fries which were crisp and appetizing. Combining a very amiable server, with a hearty quintessential Maine seafood meal, I could not have been more satisfied. Then the experience changed completely. It was just about closing time. I settled the bill, and happened to be the last patron remaining on the outdoor patio. I needed to use the restroom, but found the main door leading inside to be locked. I got the attention of the staff inside, and my server immediately came out and asked her supervisor (or whatever her role was) to open the main door, which she did. They both pointed the way to the restroom. But then for some reason the supervisor very quickly and emphatically said ‘but there is a public restroom close by.’ I processed that as an informational statement, but then the following sentence ‘just because we are now closed,’ came as an overt ask which to me meant – ‘you can’t come in here, use the public bathroom on the pier.’ In the presence of the moment, I complied and while finding it strange, left the restaurant and went to the dark (no outdoor lights) public restroom in a nook on the pier. It then started to sink in that I was just nudged away from using the restaurant’s restroom, about five minutes after it had closed, and where I had just plunked a 35% tip for the great service I had received. My mind raced at trying to find an explanation or meaning to what had just happened. I have travelled to many parts of the World, including within the U.S., but this was a first of being denied the use of a restroom, a handful of minutes after the restaurant’s closing time and being a paying customer. I recalled the perplexed look on my server’s face also as all this was transpiring, and then I wondered if the same treatment would have been meted out, had I been sitting inside the restaurant, or if the two or three patrons remaining at the bar had wanted to use the restroom – would they have been ushered to the public facility? I cannot ascribe a motive or reason for this animus towards me; it had been just a few minutes past the closing time, and the staff were still picking up the tables, etc. There were no signs of the restroom being closed for cleaning or any other posted policy or notice that the bathroom could not be used by patrons after closing time. I think I have an idea as to why this happened, but I will leave it for the reader to assess and decide. Many people might have used a restaurant’s restroom after closing time, at one point or another, and they can judge this incident as they deem fit. One thing is certain; I will not be a repeat customer here.
J D — Google review
After a harbour cruise we waited a short while for an outside table. Our foursome ordered a variety of courses and were each very pleased. Most popular was the surf and turf. We were able to take our time enjoying each course and a variety of wines. Our server Ryan made the experience particularly pleasant and did a great job catering to our individual tastes.
Terri A — Google review
This is a touristy spot with a gorgeous view of the boats and yachts. Honestly, that’s the best thing about it. I had oysters, prosecco, and the “lazy lobster.” My husband went with the fried calamari and a dessert. The oysters and prosecco were great, but everything else was pretty underwhelming. The $50 lobster came in a tiny portion and was rubbery, served with uncut potatoes and butter packets on the side (seriously?). The dessert pie was clearly microwaved and overheated. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re coming for the food. But if you’re after a nice view, a few drinks, and some light snacks, it’ll do.
Anastasiya K — Google review
We took a sunset sailboat cruise and realized that most restaurants in Camden either required a reservation or were closing after the boat ride, so we ended up at Peter Ott’s. The line looked long but they were able to get my party of 2 in within 10 mins. As a vegetarian, there weren’t a ton of options, but the veggie burger was fine (pretty sure it was just a well executed frozen veggie patty) and the fries were good. My companion really enjoyed the lobster corn chowder and Caesar salad. Overall I don’t know as it’s a must-visit, but we had a nice time!

This place was a recommendation from the owners of the place we were staying. They raved about this place and they weren't wrong. Great location, able to sit outside, people watch while watching boats come and go. The food was delicous , fresh, and flavorful. We had fish Tacos and the lobster BLT, both were excellent.

Embark on a maritime adventure with Camden Harbor Cruises in the picturesque coastal town of Camden, Maine. Step aboard the Lively Lady, a charming wooden vessel, and choose from an array of captivating excursions. Delight in lighthouse tours or savor the breathtaking views during a sunset cruise around the harbor. Families with children will appreciate the engaging morning cruises where little ones can explore the boat and observe lobster traps under the attentive care of the friendly crew.
What a fun cruise! My family did the eco-tour cruise aboard the Lively Lady a couple of days ago. The crew was excellent; they knew just where to look for some wildlife spotting, and they shared lots of facts about seals, lobsters, loons, cormorants, jellyfish, and various other creatures we saw along the way. The boat was comfortable, had some seats in the shade on a hot day, and the excursion was very enjoyable.

We had the best time, even though it was cold & windy. We didn't get to see the second light house, so that was a bummer. But we did catch two lobsters and two crabs. Our captain & crew were awesome!! Would definitely book with them again!

Great cruise, it was very fun to learn how lobster catching is done and to learn about the area! I highly recommend!

The Lobster & Lighthouse cruise was the best way to introduce my daughter to Maine. Cassie was the best crew - informative, engaging, and very willing to give my daughter (and other guests) a hands-on experience. My daughter hasn't stopped talking about lobsters. Heads up to future guests doing vacation research: they take the departure time seriously. A group missed our boat because we left the dock at exactly 3:15 PM. There are warnings on the website, the confirmation email, and the reminder email I got the day before our cruise - so absolutely no blame on Camden Harbor Cruises. But this is 100% something where you should figure out parking and walking time well in advance.

Nice relaxing cruise around the harbor. The woman who lead the cruise was very knowledgeable and friendly. This is a great cruise for the price, but I do not recommend bringing little kids. There is no room to safely move around and theeres nothing very interesting for little ones. Highly recommend for adults or older kids though.

The Lobstering & Lighthouse tour was phenomenal!! We got a pretty chilly day, but they made it so fun and interesting. 100/100 would recommend to anyone visiting Maine!

This was very well done. Informative, entertaining, and thoughtful tour. We were hesitant as this is 'not our style' of traveling but we wanted access to observe costal life from the water. It was very well done and well worth the time and cost.

10/10 recommend this tour! This is our second time visiting Maine on vacation and this was a fun way to see the state we’ve fallen in love with from another view. Our tour guides were entertaining and full of fun facts and knowledge about lobstering and local history. You can tell they’re passionate about what they do, and it shows in the quality of the tour. This is a great activity to do with your kids. My kids even mustered the courage to hold a lobstah!

I was like hey how’s your fish and chip. Waiter said you won’t regret. And I didn’t. It turned my week in Maine around after earlier bad ones. The batter is perfect and oh boy that service is top notch. I wish I came here first. Best of all, price is very reasonable for a seat down spot. We emptied out our table. The wait initially can be a couple minutes yo get a table but don’t get hangry. We also got a clam chowder and it’s honestly very delicious. I think it’s all the butter. Reasons we don’t eat it all the time but definitely on vacation. This is a great casual spot for local and tourists alike.

We asked to be seated on the deck but quickly realized our food would get cold fast and they graciously accommodated us back in the main dining room! Coffee; excellent. Blueberry pancakes (mixed thru the pancake); also excellent. Biscuits; way excellent but the star of the show was the sausage gravy! It was truly a spiritual experience! Never had better; could have eaten it by the gallon! The biscuits were so big we took 2 back to our hotel out of the 3 we ordered. Great atmosphere and service. Highly recommend; highly!

Loved the food and loved the service. Even tho my southern side was sad ( no sweet tea up north) I enjoyed the tasty warm feeling food. I had the lobster roll, grilled crab cakes, and Tomato Spinach soup with sourdough bread. DELICIOUS 😋 Don't forget to check out the hidden waterfall in the back of the restaurant.

They let you substitute cheddar with pimento cheese in their omelets, and I can’t believe I’d never thought to do that before — I’d come back just for that alone! We were seated at the counter (which I usually don’t love), but I actually really enjoyed the vibe. The waitress running the counter was friendly, patient, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming. Next time we’re in town, we’ll definitely be back to eat here again.

Wow, everything was so good. We can't back twice during our stay. That's hardly ever happens as I usually never eat at the same place during vacation that is how good it was that we had to return. On both times we ordered different things and everything was so good. The people where super friendly, nice and attentive which added to how good it was. Next time we come back I am here.

Both the lobster and the crab rolls were delicious! Food portions based on other tables, were very generous. Very friendly and caring staff and beautiful views from the outside deck overlooking the falls. Unbeatable value for your money. Loved it!

We went because of the location. Beautiful water fall. The food was good. The blueberry pancakes didn’t taste like they were cooked all the way. I got a grilled cheese instead. My daughter had her first lobster roll and my husband had fried clams and scallops for the first time. All the seafood was fresh. Sit outside if you can to enjoy the view.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our breakast at Marriner's. We parked on the street and strolled to the restaurant, deciding to have our meal outside on the deck. Our server was great. The food (large portions) was served promptly and was uniformly delicious. In addition, the prices there are an exceptional bargain. We will eat there again the next time we visit Camden, Maine. Very highly recommended.

French & Brawn Marketplace

Grocery store
Butcher shop
French & Brawn Marketplace is a downtown favorite for boat provisions and quick dinners. They offer daily specials for soup and entrees, which can be ordered by phone or picked up in person. The store also provides excellent customer service, as evidenced by a story of the owner returning a lost phone with kindness. The marketplace offers unique items, typical grocery products, and a diverse specialty food section with friendly staff. Additionally, they have a grab-and-go baked goods section and reasonably priced meat and cheese options.
One of the downsides of roadtrips is the constant search for decent on-the-go food. French & Brawn is, essentially, a grocery store and bakery. But they elevated themselves to Google Review Status exclusively because I could buy an individual hard boiled egg to go along with my coffee and muffin, making my breakfast truly Hobbit worthy. Coffee was delicious and the Blueberry Muffin had berries well dispersed throughout the entire thing. (Other than people who don’t use blinkers, Blueberry Muffins with berries only stuck on top drives me up a wall.) The boiled egg was fresh and easy to peel. Be sure to grab a giant cookie - perfect for elevenses.

This cherished market has provided all folks who are blessed to cross their open doors with primary foods-from their bakery, from their meats and seafood, from their produce. Our favorite was to drop in, on the way to work, to get a perfect coffee and a ginger scone. Nothing better.

This was an adorable local market which includes a great deli section toward the back. Yummy sandwiches, salads, fresh baked goods etc. Reccomend for your grocery needs if you're in the area.

Very nice market for your needs. Good variety of wines, whole bean coffee plus a deli! Loved it. Wide selections of items for cooking in as well as ready made items from their deli. We stopped in several times during our Camden visit and found the staff friendly and knowledgeable.

Tried the chicken salad with cranberries & walnuts sandwich .. delicious. Had to get the house made Chex mix after reading the reviews. Very good! Also tried the peanut butter cookies...YUM! The employees were very friendly & helpful

HOUSE CHEX MIX: I don’t know what they put in this thing and cannot for the life of me replicate it but it is delicious and worth the exorbitant price. I buy it every single time.

2023:My original evaluation still stands. I picked a couple of small local jam jars this time for 6.50 each. 2019:A few unique items, some typical grocery items. Nice little store with fairly high prices. Have to pay for a bag and get a pretty thin bag without handles. The bags definitely could be better especially at a cost.

Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Camden, Blaze is a casual fine-dining gem that offers an unforgettable culinary experience with stunning views of the harbor. Open year-round, this vibrant restaurant serves up a delightful array of wood-fired coastal seafood and house-made brews that cater to every palate. From their delectable flatbreads to hearty sandwiches and fresh salads, Blaze ensures there's something for everyone.
The best place we've been to in a while! Our waitress was well put together and provided excellent service. She was very observant and attentive. Food was amazing! I had the beet salad and my husband had the duck burger. Be prepared to pay for parking May to Oct. We will definitely be back when we can sit on the deck!

Ate on the 2nd floor, great view of boats in harbor. Enjoyed fish and chips. Also had clam chowder. Nice flavor and balanced seasoning. And yes, clams, enough to know it's clam chowder! Others in the party enjoyed the beef burgers and the vegetarian burger. They handled our large group well, especially considering all the food requests

Blaze started out the meal really strong giving us a great burger and pizza. But after that it fell apart. We waited 2 and a half hours for a lobster roll until finally having to cancel it. The food that was served to us was good but it seemed like the kitchen couldn’t get their act together with timing.
Andre M — Google review
Blueberry soda was great. Duck fat fries were great as well. A bit more salt would take them to awesome level. The pizza was excellent, but just a little underdone in the middle. Probably tough to balance the heat between the edges and middle with a wood fired oven. Service was great and the waitress was very nice. Great experience overall!

I had a wonderful dinner in the taproom. The bartender was extremely knowledgeable and was able to make amazing recommendations for entire meal. I drank a couple of different sours that were wonderful! For dinner I had the pork belly lollipops. Those were truly the best meal of my entire vacation to Maine and I cannot recommend them enough. I wrapped up my meal with a slice of limincello cake. The entire experience was amazing and will be a mandatory stop next time I vacation in the area.

Blaze restaurant near Camden landing harbor Maine. If you want a quick lunch try Blaze ,I tried the duck burger with fried egg and bacon, fried egg was delicious but a bit disappointing on flavor profile of the duck burger, it was extremely bland, side of mac n cheese was delicious considering it had one cheese, would have loved it more if two or three different cheeses was used to give more depth. Cheeseburger with lettuce/tomatoes, French fries was adequate due to lack of flavor again. Blaze has a nice selection of craft beer. Perhaps today was a miss. In today economy there should never be a miss especially there are too many restaurant that maintain consistency and delicious food. $$$
Epicurean C — Google review
The bartender was very nice and the facility is fun and funky. Location is nicely situated amongst the "action" of the town. We ordered 2 flights of various drinks with mixed results. I give them massive amounts of credit for offering a wide array of different beverages from craft beer to innovative ciders. That made the beverage exploration experience rather fun. There were some beers and ciders which we simply couldn't finish because the flavors were unpalatable for us personally. But, there were a few seasonal ciders which knocked our proverbial socks off. Based on our one time experience here, my advice is to ask the friendly bartender what they recommend based on the season and start with a flight. This will prevent you from committing to a full glass of beer or cider that you don't like or that even makes you dry heave with each continued sip as you try not to waste it by powering through the drink with a grimace. But, on the flip side, trying a flight will also allow you to hone in on that unexpected brew you truly love and want to drink an entire glass of that evening. Overall, we still had fun going out of our comfort zones to try the different beverages but we couldn't really suggest a beer that rocked our world.

Fresh and Co is a charming eatery located in Camden, Maine that offers a diverse menu featuring global cuisine made with fresh local ingredients. The restaurant takes pride in its rotating menu based on seasonal produce and an extensive selection of craft beers, international brews, unique wines, and crafted cocktails. The bartenders are known for their eclectic wine and beer lists as well as signature craft cocktails. Despite being busy, the service is excellent with friendly staff members.
The perfect dinner date spot by the harbor! My partner and I came here for his birthday dinner and it exceeded our expectations. We sat outside where we could look down to the water. Service was great (we were the last ones there and they never made us feel rushed). But the real highlight was the food and drinks! Steak and pasta cooked to perfection. Mouthwatering combos so delicious we made sure not to forget the leftovers in our hotel fridge!

The restaurant’s location is great and our server was nice. However, the restaurant was quite empty, and it took us a long time to get her attention between interactions. We ordered the mussels, farro beet salad, and truffle fries. The mussels smelled terrible and tasted off; we couldn’t eat them. The farro beet salad had no flavor; it was just super bland. The fries were okay. We probably won’t come back, but maybe it was just a unlucky situation.

Great little place close to the water. They were able to accommodate us on Saturday night without a reservation. We started off with the fried Calamari which was excellent. We ordered the Eggplant Tajine and Lamb Ragu, both were excellent. The Lamb Ragu was exceptional. 👌

I loved this restaurant so much that I ate here 2 of my 4 nights in Camden. They have such a wonderful menu that changes often. I ate outside each of my 2 times. They have a global menu that was very appealing including dishes from Brazil and Africa. The Spitzers were very refreshing. On my first visit I had the Marcequa (spelling) which was basically a stew with Haddock, shrimp and mussels in a coconut lime broth with jasmine rice and tomatoes. I loved it so much I went back another night. The whole menu looks great. The service was excellent. The only issue that I had was that my dish was priced on the menu as $35 but rang up as $38. When I pointed it out, they said that the menu changes (but the price??) and he didn’t offer to get the manager or anything. It still was great and if ever in the area, I’d go back!! Things to note- Prices vary between menu and receipt. Bread and butter costs $4. The spritzers and the food are excellent!! Service very attentive!

Located in Camden's downtown area, The Waterfront Restaurant offers a unique dining experience with its traditional seafood dishes served alongside stunning views of the harbor. With an extensive menu featuring lobster stew, local crab and artichoke fondue, and Maine blue mussels, this 40-year-old eatery provides a twist on classic Maine fare. The restaurant's casual ambiance and large deck overlooking Camden Harbor make it an ideal spot to savor delicious seafood sourced from local fishermen.
Stopped here for lunch yesterday on a girls trip to Camden. I got the calamari, margaritas, and the waterfront Cuban and we all shared the brownie dessert. Absolutely delicious! They had so many enticing menu options it was hard to choose between them. They have indoor and outdoor seating with a beautiful view of the boats on the water. You won't be disappointed stopping here for a bite to eat.

Monday, July 14, 2025 I must say, everything was excellent during our visit. We experienced a 45-minute wait before dinner service began, so we decided to relax at the bar with a couple of drinks. The atmosphere was quite laid back. I found the food to be outstanding, and the scallops were the best I have ever tasted. One of the best restaurants we went to on our vacation. I will certainly return!

Well, Camden’s waterfront is beautiful and this place takes full advantage of that. Service was good, at a crowded time we waited at the bar for a seat on the deck. Hostess found us, she was on top of things. Food was terrific. Despite being in Maine, I went for the crab roll instead of Lobster and was delighted. Light, buttery, toasted, fresh roll. Perfect.

The waterfront restaurant in Camden was worth the walk down Bayview Avenue. They have an outstanding menu and the sandwiches and mules that came out around our table looked wonderful. We had the. The crab roll, which was tasty as was the fish and chips, but I think we could’ve ordered better. The coleslaw was excellent as was there three bean salad. The clam chowder was excellent. We will return to try some other options on their menu.

The Waterfront Restaurant in Camden is an absolute gem and deserves every bit of its five stars! My dining experience here was fantastic from start to finish—truly one of the best meals we've had. We ordered a few of their classics and every dish was executed perfectly. The Clam Chowder was rich and creamy, loaded with clams and had a wonderful, authentic flavor. The Mussels were fresh, perfectly cooked, and served in a delicious broth that we practically drank! The Salmon was moist, flaky, and beautifully prepared. The highlight for me, though, were the Crab Cakes. They were incredibly flavorful, packed with real crab meat, and seared to a perfect golden brown. Honestly, my only complaint is that I could have easily eaten a dozen more! If you're in Camden and looking for amazing seafood with a great view, you absolutely must visit The Waterfront Restaurant. Everything we had was top-notch!

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! WHO doesn’t love to eat outside near the water?! View was amazing! While you wait you can order a drink from the outside bar window or go in and grab a drink inside and sit in their outside waiting area. I had the oysters that were sooooo amazing and my husband had the burger! I’m a burger connoisseur and this burger was so good with a delicious grill flavor, brioche bun, and actual fresh looking lettuce, Tomatoe, pickle. We had the chowder. Very good. Nice and creamy, flavorful but just needed a touch more of salt. Service was so amazing. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend.

Great experience. I got the Mediterranean seared scallops. While the strong olive flavor in the pasta was a bit much for my taste, I kind of craved it the next day, oddly enough. The scallops were cooked to perfection. The fresh house made bread was wonderful. Hubby got the haddock fish and chips and enjoyed it. Step son the crab cakes and he also enjoyed those. Would definitely go again.

The cozy ambiance invites visitors to settle into reading nooks or bistro tables while enjoying their favorite cup of coffee or tea alongside a delightful nibble from the café.

We love the ambiance of this bookshop and cafe. The treats are always tasty and the expresso drinks are made with care. We think it would be a great movie set. We always stop in when we can on our way up to Blue Hill. We love seeing the locals and hearing neighborhood conversation. The staff always remember us even though we only stop by a few times a year. What a rude establishment! We were literally the last people in line and right in front of our face they put up the closed sign and said they’re closing for lunch so they’re not taking any coffee orders! Located on Elm Street, Zoot Coffee has been a go-to spot for coffee enthusiasts since 2006. The quaint and welcoming coffeehouse offers a variety of delicious coffee and espresso options, including espressos, lattes, frappes, and more. The charming atmosphere features local art on the walls and provides ample seating for visitors to enjoy their world-class perfect espresso or indulge in gluten-free and vegan snack options.
Zoot Coffee in Camden, Maine is a charming little gem that perfectly blends cozy small-town warmth with subtle touches of global culture. The interior is thoughtfully designed inviting and relaxed, with eclectic details that hint at a love for travel and distant places. It’s the kind of spot where you can easily settle in for a quiet moment with a book or get some focused work done. The ambiance is calm and welcoming, and the staff add to the laid-back, friendly vibe. Their gluten-free sweet treats are a nice inclusion, though the ones I tried were a bit on the dry side perhaps just past peak freshness. I had high hopes for the blackberry muffin, and while it lacked the moistness I was hoping for, it certainly didn’t take away from the overall experience. Zoot is a lovely stop for anyone seeking a peaceful space with character, good coffee, and thoughtful details that make you feel like you’ve wandered into a well-traveled friend’s favorite hangout.

I thoroughly enjoyed a maple latte here! Prices are reasonable and the baristas were sweet and efficient. The flavors were well balanced, although the milk was not steamed quite right. Their other syrups were Monin, which usually taste great! They also had some healthier baked goods available if you need a bite to eat.

Enjoy supporting local roasted coffee. Took a trip to ME and found this coffee shop downtown. Staff was friendly and informative. The beans are roasted at their location. The beans were freshly roasted and had a nice balance. They also offer on-line purchases in case you can not visit as often. Enjoy trying new coffee and supporting local businesses. Look forward to buying more beans.

If I wouldn’t have been in such a hurry, hungry and needing a coffee fix I would have gone back in for a refund. Wish I would’ve not stopped The cookie and little cake were tasty enough, but the baked goods out on the counter all had flies landing on them. Against my better judgment I ordered anyway. The black eyed chai was disappointing at best. Watery and not flavorful. I try to patronize the local establishments when I travel but I definitely will never spend my money here again.

Franny's Bistro is a charming and cozy restaurant in Camden, known for its high-end menu featuring a variety of dishes. The bistro offers classic American cuisine with locally sourced ingredients, creating a warm and welcoming dining experience. Guests can indulge in an array of delectable options such as Wood-Grilled Bistro Steak, shrimp & grits, grilled rack of lamb, linguine dishes, shrimp dumplings, duck confit, and more.
We were greatly pleased with our first dinner evening such that we changed our plans for our second dinner evening on a two night stay in Camden. As a belated Valentine's Day celebration, I made a special request of a charming table, which was nicely adorned with an "I Love You" balloon, which we thought was a nice touch. We were then greeted by a nice young man, who as it turns out, was new to the server role...he did quite well! He felt badly about breaking a cork in our wine and the owner then approached us with another bottle. We told her we would gladly take the first bottle, but she insisted. We started with the grilled romaine, which was out of this world and by far the best I have had. Then, I had the Portuguese Seafood and Linguine, which was just the right amount of heat and the seafood was incredibly fresh, with large sweet, tender mussels, large shrimp and scallops that were perfectly tender and not overwhelming. I will say my entree selection was a toss up between this and their lamb special-but I will get back to that. The chef, also co-owner, made a visit to our table which was a pleasant surprise. I had to share my impressions of his creations...they are quite good. So, with this experience, my wife and I decided we were not going to go to our other planned restaurant the next night, but rather return to Franny's since our experience was just that good. That allowed me to have their special lamb chops, which were out of this world. They were clearly New Zealand lamb and Chef's presentation and mastery were not lost on me. I had to share with him that they were by far the best lamb chops I have ever enjoyed...including my own! We had limited options since this is the off season, but that ended up being a special bonus because we cannot think of having dinner anywhere else when we return. If you like a wonderful atmosphere (also a special nod to the 70's decor and vibe), great food, great service & an overall wonderful experience, then give Franny's a try, you will not be disappointed!!

We chose to dine in the sweet outdoor setting. Our party of 4 enjoyed many dishes including starters to desserts. We were encouraged to eat leisurely, enjoying cocktails, fine wines, and gourmet food. Service was very attentive and the staff worked together as a team. I mean, it started with their amazing focaccia bread and olive oil so I knew the rest was going to be fabulous. My favorite dish was the halibut. The space is very beautiful. Also, bonus, my father-in-law was born in Sarajevo and several of the young men that worked there, crazily, were from Bosnia! So sweet. Our server, Eve, was very sweet too. Great restaurant!

A home run! Passing through town my wife and I decided to visit. It’s an unassuming atmosphere, comfortable and nicely furnished but not stuffy. Our server was busy and yet took the time to explain the nightly specials and allow us plenty of time to decide on drinks and the dinner order, she was very pleasant and professional. Service was prompt and the food items were delicious. The dining rooms and outdoor seating area filled up quickly and the staff stepped up and worked as a well trained team. I observed the manager who was hands on, observant and directing activities to ensure efficiency. It was very nice to see. We started with shrimp dumplings which were very tasty and flavorful. My entree choice was a scallop and mussel dish feature which was plentiful, flavorful and just so satisfying. My wife had a really nice piece of halibut which was also nicely done. I certainly would not hesitate to visit again given the opportunity and encourage anyone to stop in for a very positive dining experience.

Franny’s is one of our favorite restaurants in Camden! The owners Jennifer & Jack, are charming and friendly, as is the entire restaurant. It’s a family affair with Jennifer at the door, Jack heading up the kitchen, and their kids in training! The food is exceptional, cocktails and wine list are impressive. Some of our favorite dishes are the Peekytoe Crab Cakes, Roast Poussin and the Steak Frites! Can’t wait to return!

Super frustrating experience tonight at Franny’s Bistro in Camden, ME. We have eaten here numerous times over the past 15 years and have enjoyed our meals. This evening we arrived on time and were seated in the back outdoor tent area. The restaurant was not busy. Our waitress was very friendly. The bottle of wine we ordered as well as our appetizers arrived in a timely fashion but then we waited….and waited…for over 45 minutes for our entrees. Eventually we were told they were coming. Unfortunately my wine glass was cleared during that time but I had not yet finished it. And, when our meals finally arrived, my halibut was room temperature/cool at best. My husband’s dish was okay, but not spectacular. The restaurant gave us a 10% discount for their incompetence. But the coup de grace was that they “cancelled” our reservation on Open Table AFTER we finished and paid for dinner, which obviously prohibited me from making a review of our meal tonight. That felt like a slap in the face. Ugh. Franny’s you can do better.

My husband and I enjoyed dinner here during our first visit to Camden. We had a reservation and were seated upon arrival on the front porch. Our server, Audrey, was delightful. She let us know their specials and also suggested a few of her personal favorite drinks and dishes when we asked. We enjoyed the mussels to start our meal and I think they were the best I've ever tasted, cooked to perfection in a light cream sauce. Our drinks were spectacular, our meals looked beautiful and tasted even better! The scallops were seared perfectly with lots of flavor. For dessert, the Creme Brule and Affogado did not disappoint. The owner was attentive and made sure everyone was enjoying their dining experience. This was truly an emotional experience and touched all of our senses. If you are in the area, you have to go to Franny's Bistro!

Whether you're satisfying your own sweet tooth or treating the kids to a delightful experience of choosing their favorite candies from the vast selection available here.
Uncle Willy's candy shop pe is a staple stop while in Camden of you have kids and even if you don't! We good our kids $10 each and let them pick whatever they want. They usually about the great big bag of things that lasts them for a long time. Of course as parents we come out with our own bags as well. People are friendly and helpful, parking is along the street which can be challenging at certain times of the year but you'll always find a space within not too long of a time. Definitely worth a visit for young and old alike.

The owner was a really nice guy. They have a lot of selections, and the place is clean and organized. It was off season so it was slow, but still tons of candy in stock. Kind of on the expensive side, but most chocolate places are. On the road parking but spacious enough. Try the coconut chocolate called "the mount battie" absolutely delicious. Overall, 4 stars. Thank you for the great experience! ❤️

This was such a cute shop we absolutely loved loved loved it! Soooo many varieties of candies to choose from and look at. Brought back so many childhood memories looking through all the different types of candies. Pretty much any kind of sweet and candy you could think of it was there plus more. The chocolate sweets they made were lovely and all looked delicious we had a banana Carmel one and it was delicious so delicious and awesome looking. The other we had I cannot remember the name but I remember it had a peanut butter whisky in it and it was also delicious! Maybe it was called a screw ball! The owner was awesome and nice!

The store is clean! The choice of candy, is great! They have candy, that I haven't seen since I was a little girl. And that was a long time ago. The place is unique, it will take you back from when you were a child. It has candy from the past and candy of today. Fudge, to wrap candy. The staff is great also. I will definitely, come back again. 😊😊

Chocoholics delight. If you can't find your favorite candy here, rest assured it's not made anymore. It is worth the effort to leave main street and head about a block or two off the beaten path to check this store out.

Uncle Willy’s Candy Shoppe in Camden, Maine is the best & most gorgeous Candy Store I’ve ever been to — & thanks to my sweet tooth, I’ve been to many. The variety & quality of candies is unmatched, and arranged artistically for gorgeous eye candy too. If you think all saltwater taffy tastes the same, don’t miss 2nd floor with barrels of extraordinary mix & match flavors: orange & cinnamon were my faves. And mint. Ok, all of ‘em. Downstairs, the main floor has both the best of candies you’d expect — countless smorgasbord of delights! — plus many you’ve never seen. Example? Ever try Fried Egg gummies? Taste as good as they look! Last but not least: unique, fun seasonal decor brightens Uncle Willy’s storefront & indoors too. Superb fun-witchy greeters, Autumn colors, & Cow bench out front to dig into the loot. Yes, bench even has hoofs. Yet most of all, sumptuous variety and high quality of delicious sweets make Uncle Willy’s a great destination any time of year. On Bay View Street, just a block from Camden Harbor.

Camden Cone offers a fantastic selection of ice cream flavors, including their Flight option which combines five flavors in one. This deal provides great value for money. Customers can enjoy a variety of tasty options such as Cherry, Cookie Dough, Peach, Maple Walnut, and Strawberry Cheesecake. However, some may find the cookie dough flavor to be lacking in taste when eaten alone. Despite this small issue, Camden Cone is still a highly recommended place to visit for delicious ice cream.
I scream… This is a hole in the wall. The service was great and the ice cream was delicious. I want to rate it four stars because the ice cream is not made in house but the flavor and quality is very good. The ice cream is made in Maine. Great little spot.

With tempting names like Maine Deer Tracks and Maine Bear Tracks, choosing just one among the inventive flavors was no easy task. I eventually went with Deer Tracks—a bold and flavorful espresso ice cream blended with toffee bits, chocolate cookie, and a tangy sour cherry. A truly decadent combination. If you find yourself in Camden, do yourself a favor and indulge in a scoop (or two)!

Delicious ice cream! The salted caramel chocolate truffle was amazing. Portions are generous, even the small was big enough to share with my husband. Definitely recommend!

Great small ice cream shop with local Maine flavors. Rivals river ducks across downtown. Ice cream is slightly better says my wife. The raspberry swirl Ice cream had real raspberries in it. They have some cool sundaes as well, including one with blueberry jam on top. Can’t get more summer in Maine than that.

Adorable little ice cream spot in the heart of Camden with friendly faces behind the counter and familiar ice cream to most anyone in maine serving giffords, my girlfriend and I love to come here whenever we're in Camden in the summer, would highly recommend!

Amazing ice cream!! They have an option of a Flight (five flavors in one) and it is by far the best bang for your buck! Hubby and I enjoyed Cherry, Cookie Dough, Peach, Maple Walnut and Strawberry Cheesecake. My only complaint would be that the cookie dough piece by itself doesn't taste very good at all, but overall a very yummy place to come 😋

Sea Dog Brewing Co. is a popular brewery located in the heart of Camden, with additional locations in Maine, New Hampshire, and Florida. The company offers a variety of signature brews alongside other local beers at each location. Visitors can enjoy harbor views while savoring locally-crafted beers and a diverse drink menu that includes wine, cocktails, mocktails, and beer options like Windjammer Blonde Ale and Sea Dog Stout.
We almost skipped this place because of the 3.9 review and I’m so glad we didn’t! It deserves a much higher rating! The local beer selection was great with a wide variety. We got the clam chowder, habanero wings, and jambalaya! The food was delicious, wings were cooked perfectly and had the right amount of kick! The Jambalaya was delicious and a great break from all the lobster we’ve been eating. Only reason I gave the food 4 stars was I wish the chowder was a little thicker, however it still tasted amazing! To note our server John was so nice and helped us make selections! He was the perfect amount of attentive and giving space to enjoy the meal! The other staff around us were just as nice and made comments on how they were happy certain dishes were back on their menu! If you like the beer you can also buy some to take with you (cold or not) for your travels! Would highly recommend coming here if you’re driving through town or stopping in Camden!

The Sea Dog Brewing Company, in Camden, ME, has a great Happy Hour -- specials on beer, wine and mixed drinks. On a very warm summer afternoon, I had a "Ginger Rogers (Gin Collins)" -- or two -- in a Pint glass for $6 each. I sat out on the back porch, overlooking the Harbor, which was scenic, and peaceful. There was a good happy hour crowd that eventually became dinner service for families and other larger groups of diners. I love it here. Friendly service from conscientious and outgoing staff members. Kind and extremely polite local clientele in the off-peak hours. 5 Stars.

We had a great visit at this restaurant. We sat outside where we had views of the harbor. They serve wine and other drinks for those who don’t drink beer. They had a gluten free bun option for the lobster rolls and other items.

First time at Sea Dog Brewery in Camden. It was a very busy Sunday afternoon during the art fair. It was nice to sit by the harbor. I ordered the crab salad and havarti on sourdough with sweet potato fries and my friend ordered the chicken wings. My friend enjoyed the wings and ordered extra sauces and said it was flavorful. I was not impressed with my sandwich. The crab salad tasted fine, but a bit bland and the cheese didn't do much to bring out the flavor. One of those menu items that sounds better than it is. The fries were good.

We were hesitant to try this place due to the reviews but it was really good food and service. The door and windows could have used a cleaning. The cole slaw was delicious but the turkey was deli meat not sliced turkey breast.

We had an amazing experience here after hiking the beautiful trails in Camden! John was our server and very accommodating, helpful, and kind to us and our pup. We had the lobster roll and chili, and they were great with gluten free and dairy free accommodations. Would highly recommend and plan on returning next time I visit!

The food here was fine, nothing too good or bad, but I was dissappinted in the fries. The French onion soup was also disappointing The service was also really slow, and we didn't get waters after asking. Also we got the wrong size of appetizer? Instead of getting the appetizer portion we got the side portion which was a weird issue to have. The server fixed it for us, but I was overall not impressed by the whole experience

Big banner outside - Happy Hour 3-6. Went inside, but it's only on 1 beer🤔. Asked bartender for a menu and before I could decide on what food special, she came and grabbed my menu and said as she walked away " Could I steal this off you". And never gave it back to me. Decided to not eat here after that very rude episode. No prices on their beers on the menu or posted anywhere. Nice Harbor view out back, but your NOT allowed to go out there to drink a beer unless you get Hostess to sit you down? What's wrong with standing and enjoying a beer? Never coming back here.

The restaurant is owned by a husband and wife team who create an ever-changing menu of Asian home-cooked and street food using ingredients from local farms.
This was the best Thai food I have had in a restaurant in the US. Everything was delicious and the presentation was lovely. In particular, the kuatiaw nua was excellent. I will make a point of stopping in Camden in the future to eat here.

Disappointing and pricey. Had not been in a long time. We are long time fans since the small previous space. Pad Thai was dry and pad keemo was haphazardly prepared. Greens were tough and barely cooked, not sautéed and distributed/mixed throughout the dish. Ginger beer was almost double the price of other places. We will not be back soon.

Vacation with my husband and great-granddaughter means ice cream..every day. No, they don't care if it's raining and cold. Ice cream is their thing, and River Ducks is their spot in Camden! The blueberry, cookies and cream and Maine black bear flavors have their seal of approval. It's a little place and sometimes gets crowded, but that just gives you more time to decide what flavor to get. And you'll need time! They have a great variety of hard scoop and soft serve.

Schooner Olad is a classic sailing yacht from 1927 that offers historic two-hour day sails and custom charters for up to 22 passengers. Guests have praised the helpfulness of Abbie and Aaron in arranging group trips, as well as the delicious catering provided. Captain Aaron's wit and knowledge were appreciated, making guests feel comfortable while learning about the bay. On another trip aboard Cutter Owl with Captain Sarah, despite foggy weather, guests had an amazing time.
This was a very fun experience! We were vacationing in Maine and I booked this boat ride before I left home and I am so glad I did! It was a truly fun, relaxing experience! We went on the 5pm to 7pm time slot. Captain Jack and Alden made it a fun time and answered any questions we had. It's a nice way to see Maine from a different perspective. Just beautiful! I highly recommend this company and this experience! It was a memorable part of our Maine vacation!
Kelly G — Google review
My husband and I recently photographed a couple's elopement aboard the Schooner Olad and couldn't have had a better experience! It was a bit of a gray/windy day but we had the best time anyway and the crew and captain were both amazing. We went out to the lighthouse and learned a bit of the history there and got to document the bride and groom "setting the sails" together which was a really cool experience. Olad is such a beautiful old boat! Cannot recommend Olad more and if you're planning on eloping or just want to sail around I would definitely booking with them!

Our time on the Schooner Olad was unforgettable! The views from the water are absolutely stunning—there’s nothing like seeing the coastline from the schooner’s deck. The captain and first mate were fantastic: knowledgeable, friendly, and made us feel safe and welcome the entire trip. The boat was incredibly comfortable, and the whole experience was beautifully relaxing. Highly recommend for anyone wanting time on the water!

Excellent sail. The windjammer has been beautifully maintained and the cushioned seating pit is why I picked this experience over others. We were sailing at points with a 20-25 degree tilt, which would not be for everyone, but I loved it. Captain Devon + Alden sailed with ease and were fun to talk to. I recommend grabbing a charcuterie plate from Camden Charcuterie (they have a Boat box!) some drinks, bring a blanket and go for sunset. This was me and my husband’s favorite experience of our weekend trip in Camden.

This is a small but charming waterfall located right in the heart of Camden, near the harbor. There’s a little grassy area with benches where you can sit and enjoy the view of the harbor — though when we visited, most of the boats were covered for the season. It’s a peaceful spot to take a quick break, especially if you’re on a road trip. The area around the falls has plenty of local charm, with restaurants, delis, and souvenir shops just along the road. It’s a convenient place to grab a bite, stretch your legs, and enjoy the small-town coastal atmosphere. There’s also a library nearby if you need a restroom. Parking is limited to about 20 spaces, with some paid options as well, so plan accordingly. Overall, it’s a pleasant and easy stop to add to your Camden visit.

Camden Amphitheater is a charming spot located just a couple of miles from downtown Camden, within the Camden Hills State Park. The amphitheater offers stunning views of Camden Harbor and Penobscot Bay from its 800-foot summit on Mount Battie. It's an ideal place for hiking, walking trails, and even biking with its picturesque surroundings. The amphitheater also boasts great acoustics, making it perfect for events like weddings or shows.
While taking a bike ride during a glorious Saturday afternoon...I paused here for a rest. No activity was taking place and I had the area to myself. What a treat.. The view is unbelievable, but being an amphitheatre, I was curious about the sound... so I tested the acoustics. I suddenly found myself belting out the chorus of Chicago's "Saturday in the Park" (remember, no one was around), so yeah...the amphitheatre has some moxy! I wandered around and found some "collateral" cool stuff. The infamous Compass Rose, a Classic Car parked out front, and a fawn being fondled by the fountain. Ya just never know when ya wander...I hope to attend a concert here someday, as I would imagine the energy exchanged between performers and the audience would be off the charts. Way cool place!

Great place to take in a summer outdoor concert overlooking beautiful Camden Harbor.

This place is unbelievably beautiful on both sides of the street. Make sure to do a 360° viewing

The Camden Library Amphitheater is a must-visit spot in Maine! We love visiting the library and taking in the breathtaking views of Camden Harbor from the amphitheater. The setting is absolutely beautiful and picturesque, creating a serene and tranquil atmosphere. Highly recommended for a peaceful and scenic experience overlooking the stunning Camden Harbor!

It was a beautiful space to have a wedding. The open space faces the bay and provided ample light.

Bagel Café is a warm and inviting spot that offers a variety of freshly baked bagels, create-your-own sandwiches, and salads. The café provides takeout and curbside service, making it convenient for customers on the go. With over a dozen options of freshly baked bagels daily, it's no surprise that Bagel Café is known for its delicious offerings. In addition to their all-day breakfast menu, the café also serves appetizing sandwiches that keep customers coming back for more.
Delicious bagels in a homey atmosphere! They had a lot of bagel flavors and super fun cream cheese flavors! They also had some coffee which was self serve. I got a pumpernickel bagel with honey walnut cream cheese, as well as an Asiago bagel with their garlic herb. The bagels were a bit small for the price, but the service was great and I’d stop again!

We had breakfast there with our family. There were six of us. Two of us had coffee which we mixed 1/2 Dark Harbor and 1/2 French Roast which we enjoyed with some almond milk. Our order: Grandchildren shared a Salt Bagel toasted, with Garlic Herb cream cheese Mini Muffin, The adults (who keep to a vegan diet) got: Medium Iced A "Hummus and all the Veggies" on a toasted Sesame Bagel A "Hummus and all the Veggies" on a toasted While Wheat with Italian Seasonings Bagel which had to be remade because it got cut in the kitchen with a knife that left a cream cheese smear on the sandwich. Toasted Rye (was actually pumpernickle) Bagel with hummus, Sprouts, Pickled Red Onion had to be remade because it got cut with a knife that left a cream cheese smear on vegan order Toasted Whole Wheat Italian Seasonings Bagel with Tofutti (R), Tomato, Red Onion, and Sprouts The bagels are smaller and harder than New York bagels. This might be a Maine style thing. They were tasty despite being small. I was hungry so I had two, which I generally don't do. It's a popular and busy place. They ran out of salt bagels before I could order one. The grandchildren split the last one with an order placed at 8:30am. It's definitely a "get there early if you want a wider selection kind of place." I would go back again but would be very careful to make sure they cleaned their knife before cutting the bagel sandwhich to assure I wasn't getting unwanted dairy in my food. Having to have 2 orders remade due to sloppy kitchen practices is not reassuring that they respect their Vegan customers.

They respect the shmear!!! Had a DELICIOUS bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. Fair prices, kind staff, ‘small town feel’. Will be back!!

Cute shop with Cafe vibes. Food was okay. Bagel was the star of the sandwiches. Staff seemed very poorly organized and unsure who was responsible for what. They had at least four or five people working and still we waited a long time to order and food was very slow to come out.
TodayIsOurAdventure — Google review
Said thanks guys to the cashier & cook and got crickets. They were in front of me as I picked up my food. Wish we could tip after getting our food, I wouldn’t have given 20%. Tables not cleaned. Egg & Meat sandwich was pretty good, a fair amount of empty bread, but I didn’t need it. Good smokey flavor in the ham, my order was correct. Simple but good. Needs a cleaning for 5 stars.
Mike D — Google review
The wooden tables and built in bookcases give a nice feel to the inside. The staff is friendly and the food is great. I ordered the firecracker breakfast sandwich (egg, bacon, pepper jack cheese, and spicy mayo) on a sesame bagel and it was delicious.

They were very accommodating at closing time. They were out of rye bread for the Reuben, got it on a onion bagel and this should be on the menu full time it was amazing

These guys are awesome! We've been coming here for decades. Low key, low stress place with fresh hot coffee, great food, casual atmosphere and the nicest staff. Right on Main Street with great spots to sit right in the windows which we always like. The owner Mark is also very nice, and Angelica is the absolute best :)

Buttermilk Kitchen at Marriner's is a must-visit spot in the lively Summer town of Camden. The food here is described as "unbelievable" and "slaps," with the chicken biscuit being a standout item. The biscuits are fluffy and moist, while the chicken is tender and juicy, complemented perfectly by honey/pepper sauce. Prices are considered to be very reasonable for the area.
Everything was FABULOUS! From the biscuit with blueberry jam, awesome bacon, delicious cheese grits, even the eggs were good. Might be the best meal we’ve had so far in Maine. And the waitress at the bar couldn’t have been friendlier or more efficient. Just a perfect breakfast! Highly recommend
Colleen C — Google review
It might be little, but it has a mighty taste! So far we have eaten here twice during our visit. The BLUEBERRY BASIL JAM is amazing! We had country breakfast, corn beef hash, chicken and biscuit, and the special lobster plate - we were told it's only served on Saturday and Sunday's. Our server, Kinsley (I hope it's correct), was super sweet, talkative, and welcoming. Thank you for making breakfast memorable on our trip. 2 jars of jam heading home with us to share the yumminess with family

We’re visiting from Texas and ate here each day for breakfast. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was great! The biscuits and gravy are to die for! We will definitely return on our next trip to Maine 🥰
Kelsey C — Google review
Best breakfast in Maine! Great service, great food, beautiful location. Wonderful kid portions. Savory blueberry pancakes. The only thing that was missing was a Bloody Mary option but the cappuccino was delicious! Definitely worth the wait that you will probably have but it’s nice they text you and let you know what spot you are in line as time passes and you can wonder around town and shop. Oh and the fried pickled green tomatoes were awesome!
Kristin — Google review
Unbelievably good. A cute spot with amazing food and service. Highly recommend the biscuit donuts as an appetizer. My fiance got the biscuits and gravy and they had awesome flavor. I got the chicken biscuit sandwich and it had excellent crunch and flavor and a delicious spicy jam on it. Their coldbrew was also delicious. Whatever the wait time is, it’s worth it.
Josh K — Google review
I have traveled all over the United States. And I can probably state that this has been the best biscuits and gravy I’ve had. It was very fast service. The views were wonderful. I would go back again in a heartbeat. I have already added it to my list of places to go. I highly recommend this place. I did add two eggs to the biscuits and gravy, which definitely is something I like to do so I think it’s necessary for them. But I think you’d be happy even if you didn’t. But I just think everyone should go here.
Megan Y — Google review
We went in on Saturday around lunch and it was quite busy. We waited about 30 minutes for a table. Food was tasty and came out quickly! The buttermilk biscuits and the red pepper jam were definitely the stars of the show. The eggs were also very tasty and they had a yummy hot sauce! The blueberry basil lemonade and the latte were quite good! Our server was very slow, (the food came out before she even brought us waters) however the rest of the wait staff were phenomenal! Cute restaurant. Nice place to visit! Highly recommend!

I cannot hype this place enough. Wow! Wish I had known about it sooner. The food was amazing. I had the simple breakfast which came with two eggs, a side of meat (which I got bacon), home fries ( which are delicious)! And there made from scratch biscuits. I also got a side of their sausage gravy which was really good. My wife and I were there around 11:30 in the morning and the place was very busy which is a good thing I think. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re in Camden Maine

During our vacation, we were delighted to discover Mosaic Restaurant, a true gem. The staff was friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and kind. The cuisine was scrumptious and served promptly. The ambiance fostered conversation and a warm sense of community. We are already eagerly anticipating our next visit to this exceptional establishment. We wholeheartedly recommend Mosaic as it effortlessly combines all the elements necessary for an outstanding dining experience - delectable food in a delightful setting.
Little gem in Camden, had the hibiscus fizz, it was 10/10 super refreshing. I had the carnitas tacos and my partner had the Korean BBQ tacos. They were both great. We also tried the street corn dip and it was absolutely delicious. Will go back and discover more of the flavors in this menu. Unfortunately I was so hungry that I forgot to take pictures of the food, maybe next time. 😅 it was kind of pricey ($24 avarage for two tacos) however the tacos are pretty well served and very flavorful.

Driving by here we saw a crowd of people waiting to get in so my husband and I were curious about the hype. We looked them up and it looked like a cool spot to try! We called them and they were able to get us in within 30 mins. When we got there, we were greeted and sat right away. Small intimate seating and every seat was taken. Our server was extremely nice and sweet! She gave recommendations and was super attentive to all guests. We ordered street corn on the cob, fish tacos, and a fish bowl. Food was great and portions were considerate. The service was outstanding and would definitely stop back in when we come back to Camden!

“Mosaic Restaurant” - a family run business, with quirky local artist works on show. We came across this restaurant during our visit to Camden, Maine. We would be regulars if our drive wasn’t 6hours one way! Best dinner we’ve had since being in Maine. Staff super friendly, and we were able to reserve a table before hand. It’s a very popular spot. Delicious menu. For starters, we shared a special dish tuna tostadas. Mains, my husband had chicken enchiladas with rice and beans. I had Korean BBQ beef bowl with sour cream. Desserts: key lime pie (to die for) & Newman’s Own Organic black tea (perfect as it kept me warm - we got soaked on the way to the restaurant!) There is a bar with seats, we got a table seating. Clean restrooms upstairs. On the road parking available, if I remember correctly it’s 2hrs free parking. Thank you so much, we had a wonderful time and will be back!

I am so grateful we found this restaurant while we were vacationing in Camden 4th of July weekend this summer! Everything about our experience was wonderful. We were staying at a bed and breakfast in town, so it was a quick 5 minute walk for us. Upon stepping inside, I was immediately taken with the decor (especially the artwork), the delicious smells, and the really nice vibe. There were 2 seats available at the bar so my husband and I snagged those. We love meeting new people and we had a chance to chat with a group of 3 young men who were also visiting the area. The restaurant is owned and operated by a husband and wife team with the husband running the bar and the wife in the kitchen creating phenomenal food. He was very friendly and easy to talk with as we waited for our dinners. Our appetizer was an order of chips and salsa. Hubby ordered the carnitas tacos and loved them. I chose the veggie paella special and am so glad I did. Absolutely outstanding and enough there easily for 2 to split it. I also had an horchata to drink. Everything was perfect and flavorful. This was one of my favorite meals from our 2 week vacation. I only wish we didn't live in another state 6 hours away! If we are back in the area, we will be sure to stop here again. Highly recommend you do the same. Try making a reservation if you can. There are a limited number of tables and this is a popular place with both locals and visitors.

Oh my god the fish tacos here are out of this world. Best tacos I’ve had other than when I was literally in Mexico. The fish is super fresh (not “fishy”) and the combination of the mango salsa, chipotle crema and picked red onions was just incredible. We had them on one of our first days of vacation and then came back on our way back home to Boston because we were craving them so badly! We already know we’ll be coming back next time we come up to Maine.

Fantastic lunch! The Mexican street corn dip is light and delicious and the Korean BBQ tacos (tried beef & salmon) were out of this world!

Mosaic is a small Mexican restaurant that delivers big on charm and flavor. Tucked into an intimate space where everything feels handcrafted, it’s the kind of place where you can actually taste the care that goes into each dish. Much of the menu appears made from scratch, and the attention to detail shows from the first bite to the last. Service is a standout here—A., M., and H. treat every guest like a friend dropping by for dinner, attentive without being intrusive, and genuinely proud of what the kitchen creates. During the high season, reservations are essential; Mosaic’s reputation has clearly spread beyond its cozy walls. The chicken enchiladas with ranchero sauce were superb—rich, perfectly layered, and balanced with mild, warming spice that complemented rather than overwhelmed. My companion’s vegetable burrito was equally impressive: hearty, fresh, and full of bright flavors that made vegetarian fare feel indulgent. Food arrived promptly and piping hot. The right size portions too. Instead of a typical margarita, try one of Mosaic’s inventive alternatives—each refreshingly original without losing the festive spirit. For all its humility in size, Mosaic delivers a full, memorable dining experience in Camden. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic, soulful Mexican cooking served with genuine warmth.

Cuzzy's Restaurant is a beloved Camden institution that offers a warm and cozy atmosphere, serving up hearty American fare alongside beer and wine. Located near the picturesque Camden Harbor, it provides various spaces for patrons to enjoy their drinks, including a renovated back porch, an upstairs bar with games like pool tables and Ping-Pong, and a downstairs dining room. The tavern also features daily specials on both drinks and food items such as pizza, calamari, quesadillas, and stuffed mushrooms.
The garden salad with balsamic vinaigrette was fresh and tasty. The starter Beef quesadillas was a hearty portion that felt like an entree. The beef filling was generous. We opted for the healthier version of chicken tenders - grilled, and it had a nice smokey flavor. I liked the food - it was wholesome, not overly flavored and tasted fresh. When asked how you want the fries - go for the Cuzzy fries - it’s slices of potatoes fried, and it’s delicious.

Great place to grab a quick bite for lunch. Really enjoyed the haddock Reuben. Very unique but delicious. I had the Cuzzy fries, they were ok. My wife had the onion rings and they were great.

I’m a fan! If you’re coming here expecting high class service and food then you’re at the wrong place, but if you’re wanting a hearty meal with a bar/chill atmosphere then you’ve hit the nail on the head. We got the cheese pizza and burger and both were great. Nice change of pace from the “normal” Camden feel!

Stopped in Camden today and during a walk through town stumbled upon Cuzzy’s..I’ll admit the happy hour sign outside caught my eye ..starts at 3 in the afternoon ! So glad we stopped in .. the upstairs bar area is fantastic! Full of locals .. pool table.. ping pong table and great music playing! Bartender was very friendly and we got pizza and for bar pizza it was perfect ! Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!!

We had a wonderful early supper at Cuzzys. Among the dishes we ordered were a lobster roll, fried haddock basket, and a huge burger, some apps and dessert . Everything was delicious, and we actually ordered some food to bring home. The service was awesome and very attentive, and the atmosphere was fun. I will go here on every visit to Camden from here on out.

We loved Cuzzys! It’s the perfect vibe. We particularly enjoyed the upstairs bar area and chatted it up with locals and visitors. If you’re looking for a dive-vibe with games, music, and non pretentious attitude, Cuzzys is it! The nachos were delicious and perfectly made. We will be back!
Nicole L — Google review
All the other restaurants in Camden were full so I came to Cuzzy’s. The food here is very good. The haddock sandwich was very crispy and the fries were very good. The clam chowder was very good. The service was good and the vibe here is very old school. There is an upstairs as well.
Drew 9 — Google review
Everything you’d expect from a local tavern. Good selection of wine for the wifey, great selection of beers and ales and plenty of liquor to choose from. We shared some clam chowder and it did not disappoint. The pizza was awesome -- thin, crunchy, light crust with tasty ingredients. Recommended! We hung out at the upstairs bar and watched college football. Good times.
