Seafood restaurant
Restaurant
Dockside Seafood Restaurant Jax Beach is a classic coastal restaurant offering high-quality seafood entrees sourced from local anglers. Located by the Jacksonville Boat Ramp, it provides stunning views of the marsh and active waterways. The menu features a variety of options for lunch and dinner, including appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, and more.
From the moment I arrived, Dockside Seafood delivered a great dining experience. The atmosphere was lively yet family-friendly, and the music added a fun, laid-back vibe without being overwhelming. The wait in line to order was short—only about 4 minutes, which was impressive for such a popular spot. I ordered the fried flounder, shrimp, and fries with a side of coleslaw, fried Basa, and Oysters. Everything was served fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The seafood was perfectly fried—crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. The coleslaw was creamy and refreshing, balancing the meal nicely. It was absolutely worth every penny! I’ll definitely be coming back for another round. Highly recommended for seafood lovers looking for quality and quick service at the beach!

10/13/2025 stopped here for some lunch. When I arrived there was already a line out the door so I knew the food must be good. I ordered the Mahi grilled, peel and eat shrimp, the Savannah crab soup, and keylime pie dessert. I also ordered a coke to drink. I sat outside which was nice but there wasn't enough umbrellas so it got a bit warm. Fortunately I had a hat with me. Watch your food there's two birds that will get it. The food was fantastic! Fresh and delicious is all I can say about it. The keylime pie was the best I've ever had but the portion was too small especially for the price of it. My total bill was $57.00 + tip.

First time coming to this location and let me tell you it was worth the travel and worth every penny. The staff was friendly and pleasant and the food was definitely on point. I had there catch of the day blackened Mahi with fries and hush puppies. I also had there amazing clam chowder soup and got to also try there seafood gumbo. I definitely be coming back to this location to try other options.

We found Dockside by Googling “fish sandwich” near our AirBnB. We had passed it a few times on previous visits to Jacksonville Beach and were not disappointed! Their food was made fresh to order and was excellent! Hush puppies are my favorite and they do them right! We sat outside in a covered and screened in patio before seeing that there were even more outdoor tables down the stairs right by the docks. It was a beautiful setting to enjoy our delicious seafood! We’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely delicious and fresh seafood place by the water. The staff were very nice and respectful. I had fried calamari and blackened catch of the day which were fresh and scrumptious. Everything was reasonably priced.
Abhishek S — Google review
Excellent! Almost didn't get the conch fritters and so glad we did, they were the best part of the meal. We also had the fried calamari and split a pick 3 with the haddock, scallops and shrimp. Everything was great.
Jackie C — Google review
Found this place online when traveling through the area! Service was great! I had the scallops basket grilled and my husband had the catch of the day grouper grilled. Everything was so fresh and delicious! There was a line when we got there and it took a minute to figure out you stand in line (don’t check in) and then you place your order and pay. They give you a locator pager so you find a table and they deliver everything to you! Quick, efficient and easy! And the view was amazing to top it off! Just happened to be there at sunset
Linda E — Google review
No frills fresh seafood! 😋 Finally got to check this highly rated place after a couple failed attempts of long wait lines. This time we went for weekday lunch and didn’t have to wait. Big portions and so budget-friendly. Be prepared for counter service. Will def be back for fresh seafood! Loved the oysters and my husband couldn’t eat all his deviled crabs (3)! Wouldn’t get fish tacos again as they come deconstructed. Pls add nonalcoholic beer to menu.

Adventure Landing Jacksonville Beach is a popular aquatic complex with additional land attractions, making it a perfect destination for families and thrill-seekers alike. Since its opening in 1995, this theme park has been offering a wide range of activities including miniature golf, laser tag, go-karts, and various thrilling rides such as the Wacky Worm roller-coaster and the 3D Max Flight. The park also features Shipwreck Island Waterpark, the largest waterpark in northeastern Florida.
Great place to visit while in Jacksonville!!! Slides aren't up to par with say White Water in Atlanta or Wet and Wild in Orlando but you can't beat the location or the price. Definitely a must if you're down here with the youngins.

I had family in town and my granddaughter wanted to go here. This place would be really cool if they would keep the games up and running. Also, if a machine breaks down then put a bolder and bigger out of service notice on the machines. Some of the machines were not marked well and we lost tokens. Overall she enjoyed herself and we did get to see the gators which were really cool.
Tammy L — Google review
Nasty and outdated. Took my family, 22yo, 16yo, and 9-month-old. It was a weekday in summer. People were fighting over double tubes, they definitely do not have enough, We got there 30 minutes after it opened and the bathrooms were already dirty. But the worst part is the very sad splash area for the babies. The fountains were rusted and the splash pad is poorly located between the main bathroom/changing area and the rest of the water park. The splash pad area was not monitored so people all day used the area to rinse their feet off, particularly after coming out of the nasty bathroom. This is highly unsanitary and unacceptable. And I saw at least 3 children fall around the splash pad.

Really nice place has lots of things to do and not very busy during the week has multiple water slides, wave pool and lazy river
Kaleb D — Google review
My kids loved this place! The waterslides were fun, but I wish there were more to choose from, and one ride that my husband and son rode seemed unsafe (caused pretty deep cut on my husband’s elbow). But overall, it was pretty good. Some of the arcade machines were broken and ate my son’s tokens.🤦🏻‍♀️ Come for the water park, not the arcade! Also, we used a BOGO coupon from Groupon, otherwise I think it is extremely overpriced.💰💰
Megan M — Google review
Had my family come out to have fun. Unfortunately go carts was not available. Decided to just play in the arcade area because it was raining anyways. Kids had fun but barely because we had to go back & forth getting tokens & tickets. Most of the games was not working. A lot of the machines need updates & was out. Including bowling area, only 2 lanes available & there was 4 lanes. My sister wanted popcorn for her son on the way out. It was a little bit before 8:30pm & they had no way of ringing her up because there was not a register to buy it. It was hot inside too. Not very good experience. The only thing was the employees were super nice even though through our situation. We stayed to get the kids the toys with their tickets but other than that. Not coming back. 😏💔
Beatrice P — Google review
Worst customer service in the area!! The worst maintenance in a water park the lazy river has a bad funk they don’t clean the areas and the life guards are so rude! They make you leave the bathroom under a thunderstorm I was with my 4 yo and a 2yo baby after we changed clothes we had to get soaked again because they didn’t allow us to wait till it stop raining inside the bathroom!! Last time I visit this rat hole I do not recommend it ! Anyways it’s dirty as hell save ur self some money! Btw if you clean the filter throw away the hair and dirt don’t leave it next to it kids are right there NASTY PERIOD 🤮
Abraham H — Google review
I had horrible experience with this place 😕 I saw the haunted attraction deal on Groupon and read everything thoroughly which stated they are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I CALLED to verify age limits and pricing, booked my reservation and showed up JUST for the staff to tell me they are NOT opened on Sundays. Obviously my family and children were profoundly disappointed! We decided to just stay at the place and play some arcade games instead so our trip wouldn't be wasted. Paid over $25 in games for them to immediately get on the microphone and say "we are closed everyone head to the exit!" Twice in a row. The time was literally 9:19pm .... they also refused to refund any money because they "closed their register already" these were all young kids working there about 16, 17... no adults in sight...I will also be contacting Groupon for a full refund and to report this place for false advertising. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Even if you call and verify clearly these kids don't know a nugget from a hole in the wall! Don't waste your time....

Mexican restaurant
TacoLu is a vibrant Mexican restaurant known for its lively atmosphere, adorned with colorful murals and quirky art. Despite relocating to a larger space in 2013, the restaurant continues to draw long lines due to its creative fare and Day of the Dead-inspired decor. The menu features an array of specialty tacos, including options like ahi tuna, filet mignon, and soy-based tempeh. One standout is the carne royale taco topped with brie and grape salsa.
We are visiting the area, and a friend suggested TacoLu as a good place to meet for dinner, and it did not disappoint!! The waitress was wonderful. She made sure we didn't have any questions and even made a drink suggestion for me. Everything we ordered from the street corn to all the different tacos was amazing!!! I wanted a photo with our friends because we hadn't seen each other in 15 years, so our waitress said she would take one for us in a great spot after we ate. Everything was wonderful, from the great service to the delicious food!!! If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be back!!

I’ve been going to Taco Lu for years and I have always had good experiences there, consistently delicious food and excellent service. Well tonight was the best of the best in all of my years there and I felt compelled to write about it. My 25 year old daughter and I went there to celebrate a special occasion; she started her first job recently and she wanted to treat me for the first time with her own earned money. We were so thankful that Grace was our server, as she made the special occasion even more special. She treated us like royalty with her positive upbeat attitude and the lovely smile on her face. She knew just how to pace everything and that made us feel so relaxed. We never felt rushed and always felt attended to beautifully. Thank you Grace, your name certainly fits you. You made our night! And the food was delicious as usual. Great job hiring the best people, Taco Lu! Can’t wait to return.

The best tacos I have ever had! Divine!! I was also notably impressed with their mezcal and tequila selections, including the ever elusive Fortaleza. Treat yourself to a neat pour of the añejo, you won't regret it!

We moved our son into the Jacksonville University dorm. Had a couple of hours to kill before the NROTC CHAOS would ensue. Figured... "Hey - let's grab lunch at this lil taco stand I've heard about down near the beach". A last meal of sorts! HA! We were caught a little off guard when we got there and the "lil taco stand" had valet parking! :-) In any case, this place is GREAT! Food was excellent. Prices were reasonable. Here's the kicker though... COLE attended to us! COLE knew the history of the restaurant. COLE knew the history of the building. COLE knew extra nuggets of history about the surrounding area. When you visit... ask for COLE! and... order the STREET CORN NACHOS! We had to return to the real world for a few days to make money to pay the JU tuition, but we're heading back down Thursday. I'll let you know how the margaritas are. Semper Fi and you're welcome!

The absolute best tacos and sangria, and the street corn is incredible. One of our party ordered the brisket nachos: huge portions which we all shared and still took home. The staff is amazing, from the valet to the servers.

First time there and we will be back! Emma has set the bar impossibly high for any person that says they are in the service industry with her attention to detail and high energy approach to making sure we had the perfect experience.

We ordered over 5 different tacos and needless to say they were all delicious ! Outdoor seating area was nice and shady! Lovely little meal outside ! Our waiter was great at making sure we had everything we needed and was very attentive!

TacoLu is probably my favorite restaurant in all of Jax and I keep coming back for more. The chips are are very tasty and the tacos are delicious! Filet mignon on nachos is an excellent choice 11/10. I usually go with the $10 taco, Carne Asada and a Blackened shrimp or Bangin Shrimp taco and they never disappoint. My only gripe is it can get loud for such a small space, especially in the bar area. Outside seating on a beautiful brunch morning solves this issue. Parking lot is also very small but they have free valet if you'd like. I will always stop at TacoLu when I am in Jax!

Mavi Waterfront Bar & Grill is a popular beachside restaurant known for its picturesque waterfront location, live music, and happy hour specials. The establishment offers an all-day happy hour on Mondays and 3-6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Boasting a laid-back atmosphere, Mavi invites guests to park their boats at the dock while enjoying a delicious meal with stunning views.
First time here, it was simple with beautiful views of the water. We were surprised that there were not many people out here today. Staff was kind & welcoming. We had a simple dish of grilled octopus which was much better than I had expected it would be. We did not plan for much time here but will be back again to try more items on the menu.

Went to see Cloud9 Band. No server for 20 mins after being seated. Then she never came back to check on us. We went to the bar to get more ranch dressing. Mgr got our drinks after seeing we were never served any. Limited menu of mostly fried foods. Atmosphere is great in the water at the Beaches Marina. Cloud9 is always good!

Seafood-focused restaurant by the boat ramp. Plenty of seating both indoor and out. All the food we had was great, highly recommend the stuffed flounder and shrimp scampi. Service was a bit slow and prices are definitely on the higher side, but we were seated right away on a busy Friday night.
Alexander R — Google review
This restaurant has so much potential. The atmosphere is great, there was live music on Mothers Day. Wow! The food? First off, the menu was lacking in options that sounded good. There is no kids menu for littles. If you prefer blackened or grilled fish like I do, this is not the place for you. The food tastes steamed or microwaved, like it came from a cafeteria. I think they are keeping it heated in the kitchen in the same system as would a cafeteria. All 3 parts of my dish tasted like it is prepared this way.
Keara M — Google review
It gets busy on the weekends, but there's no one there on Mondays. I sat at the bar and the service was great. It's a lovely place and the food is delicious.
Mami B — Google review
This past Friday night was my first time here. It has great views of the water, the yachts docked, and the sunset. It has plenty of seating/tables both inside and out. Overall looked clean and well maintained. Nothing fancy. They had a great live band outside and plenty of room to dance although a bad rain storm came in and with limited covered seating the place cleared out quickly. Service was quick, polite, and attentive. As for the menu it was just OK. They offered no specialties in food or drinks(if they did it was not pointed out or highlighted). There are burger, chicken wrap, fries, and some seafood items but nothing of note. It’s a nice place for groups to gather for appetizers and drinks, and enjoy the view and live music when they have it. It could be a much better place if they offered and prepared better food as the location is really nice.

Great spot for my mom’s 70th birthday party! We did brunch and they were super accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We had 15 people and a baby and it was the easiest time I’ve ever had coordinating everyone at a restaurant. Beautiful views too which is why I love this place to begin with. Thank you guys!!!!
Lauren H — Google review
We had a wonderful experience at Mavi during our trip to Jacksonville! We came in with a large party of 10, including 4 small children, and were welcomed with warm hospitality. Our server, Emily, was fantastic, attentive, friendly, and patient with our group. The atmosphere was relaxed and family-friendly, with a beautiful view of the water that made our meal even more enjoyable. The food was great, highlights were the buffalo shrimp and the wings, which were both full of flavor and cooked perfectly. We also really appreciated that no one seemed bothered by our little ones being a bit loud; it made the experience feel easy and comfortable. Our only issue was that the bathroom wasn’t as clean as we would have hoped. But aside from that, everything else was excellent. We’d absolutely come back again. Great food, great service, and a great vibe!

New American restaurant
Marker 32 is a refined restaurant offering locally sourced seafood and stunning views of the Intracoastal Waterway. It has gained a reputation for its elevated dishes and waterfront dining experience, standing out as a culinary destination in the Beaches area for over twenty years. Chef and owner Ben Groshell emphasizes a global approach with local ingredients, resulting in innovative cuisine that highlights fresh cuts of meat, local beef tenderloins, and sumptuous seafood options like the Marker 32 Seafood Bowl.
We went for our 8th year anniversary. The food was wonderful. Our waiter was very sweet & kind. He mentioned some specials which my husband got. We will be back :)

A great place for a dressy date night! The cocktail selections are great. We sat at probably the worst table in the entire restaurant which was right when you walked in the door near the host stand. If you are sat near the windows or in the back I’m sure the atmosphere was quieter and more romantic. Food was delicious and our server was wonderful!
Hannah W — Google review
Marker 32 has been a Jacksonville gem for Well Over a decade, and it’s easy to see why. The food, the service, and the location right on the water make it a place I’ll always recommend to friends and family visiting from out of town. I recently brought my aunt and uncle (visiting from Texas and Atlanta), and it was one of three places I suggested near their hotel. They absolutely loved their meal — even though we didn’t end up with a window seat as requested days in advance, the experience was still wonderful. If I could offer one small piece of constructive feedback, it would be this: I’d love to see a few fresh additions or seasonal updates to the menu. Everything on it is fantastic — it’s just been consistently the same for at least 15 years (which says a lot about how well-loved those dishes are!). A few rotating specials or new seasonal dishes would give regulars even more reason to keep coming back. Still, Marker 32 continues to deliver the kind of quality and hospitality that’s very well appreciated. It’s a true classic that remains one of my go-to recommendations for visitors and locals alike. I’d love to visit more often, eventhough I’ve never lived close to this restaurant. I’d make the trip more often for some fun, new additions on both the food and drink menu.

A friend took me out to dinner for my birthday last night at Marker 32 and it was nothing short of exceptional. Cameron had extensive knowledge of the food and didn't lead us astray. We had the raw oysters on the shell, octopus appetizer, Ribeye special, snapper special, and apple crisps a la mode dessert. I highly recommend this restaurant!

NICE FOR THE PRICE, BUT FORGETTABLE… We decided to come here for our anniversary, as we had both been here previously, but neither of us could remember much about it. Now I remember why. We had a reservation, and we showed up right on time. The hostess was friendly, and we were immediately seated. The bus boy poured our water quickly, and the server showed up a few minutes later. Our server was very friendly and helpful. He brought us two champagne flutes of free champagne, which was nice, and also the champagne was pleasant. I ordered an old-fashioned, which was good, but probably not as good as what I could have made at home. For starters, my wife had the mixed green salad, and I had the meatballs with Italian bread. The complementary bread was also good, and we both enjoyed it. We both liked the mixed green salad, which had some golden raisins, and was a little bit sweet. The meatballs were good, but not really anything different than I would have gotten at any other restaurant. I had the grouper with the Hoppin’ John mix. The grouper was nicely seasoned and well prepared, with a tomato compote and the Hoppin John mix. I really enjoyed it, and I would definitely recommend this dish. My wife had the fried shrimp with the Truffle Parmesan Arugula Fries. I thought that the fried shrimp was good, although my wife felt that they lacked seasoning. We both felt that the shrimp were no different than what I might have purchased at any restaurant chain. The truffle fries were stale, greasy, and overdone. Neither of us liked the truffle fries. We decided to skip dessert, but the server was nice and brought us a couple of praline-pecan dessert bites, which were enjoyable. The total came to $108.58 and we left a $20 tip. We both felt that the price matched the food and service, and we were glad that the meal was not more expensive than it was. Otherwise, we would probably have felt like it was not worth it. I think it’s a nice place for a date night, or maybe a place to take someone new in town, but the fare, to me, seemed predictable and uninspired. The grouper was very good though! The bottom line? This is a nice place, but nothing special. The brutal truth? This place is forgettable.

I came by myself and sat at the bar on weekday, Stephanie attended to me and was very attentive, nice and gave great recommendations! I had the seared scallops to start and bistro steak! I took home the cheese cake and it was delightful! Compliments to the chef and I’d definitely be back! My one thing is brighter lighting in parking lot!

Another place off my list of places to eat. Overall, nothing exciting . Nice waterfront view, parking limited depending on crowd , valet may be a must. I ordered an expresso martini, calamari and jerk porkchop. I am being generous with stating my experience was a 2 out of 5. Martini was missing something and definitely below average. The calamari seemed frozen vs fresh. The pork chop was very dry, not marinated and pretty much tasteless except for parts that had jerk searing. The sweet potato hash needed a do over and a complete change and prep process. No one at our table stated the food was good. To some, it was ok. I feel this place has cooks and not actual chefs. On a positive note, server was nice. The pic is very deceiving compared to taste of food. Enjoyed our evening, but very disappointed in meal.

We had such a wonderful time at Market 32! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile and made to feel right at home. The atmosphere is cozy yet classy, perfect for a relaxing night out. Our food was absolutely delicious, every dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. You can really tell they use fresh ingredients and care about what they serve. The cocktails were fantastic too! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and the service was just as impressive as the food. We left so happy and already can’t wait to come back. Definitely one of our new favorite spots in Jacksonville!

Nestled along the stunning coastline of Jacksonville, Florida, the Jacksonville Beach Pier is a must-visit destination for travelers and fishing enthusiasts. Extending 1,320 feet into the glistening Atlantic Ocean, this iconic pier offers mesmerizing panoramic views and an opportunity to witness the rhythmic dance of the tides. Visitors can savor captivating sunrises and sunsets while trying their hand at catching various fish species.
This pier is very well made and spacious. Its cement construction is very solid and stable. Lots of room for fishing and sight seeing! We had fun just walking out to the end to enjoy watching the sun rise.

Jax Beach Pier is such a peaceful spot to visit! Whether you’re there to take in the ocean views, do some fishing, or just enjoy a walk, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The pier stretches way out into the water, giving you amazing views of the coastline — especially around sunset. It’s clean, family-friendly, and there’s usually a nice breeze that makes it even better. There’s a small fee to walk out on the pier, but it’s totally worth it for the experience. Plus, there are plenty of places nearby to grab a snack or just hang out by the beach afterward. Definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re visiting Jacksonville!

I have walked to this pier every year for the past 4 or 5 years in a row when we visit the beach. I walk the 2 miles from one ocean hotel but is worth it. I really love the pier and it’s only 2 dollars to get in and has a great drink selection with good prices for while you walk! There are also very good views as well! Can’t wait to visit again next year!

Nice Pier, I was pleasantly surprised. Caught a rainbow fish. It was pretty but not for consumption. A great walk, very cool breeze and safe. Love the covered/uncovered optional seating areas. The birds are a sight to see. A perfect scenic view to sketch for those artists out there. Husband went fishing everyday of our trip. Fees are cheap and thanks for offering military discounts to our veterans. It is good to see the revenue from the fees/tolls is put to great use. The pier is very well maintained

A cool walking experience, it's about 2 dollars a person and you can also buy some drinks and other stuff from their store. It costs 5 for fishing and also their bathrooms at the time of writing this were down but there are other public ones nearby. Never seen the blue jellyfish before but it was right around under the pier so I thought I would add.

We recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn near Jacksonville Beach, and it was a fantastic experience! The hotel's direct access to the beach was a huge plus, and the included parking made it even more convenient. The beach itself was stunning - the white sand was soft and inviting, and the atmosphere was peaceful and serene. We didn't feel crowded at all, which added to the relaxing vibe. One thing to note is that there weren't any public restrooms at the start of the beach where we entered, so plan accordingly. The kids had a blast playing in the sand, and we all enjoyed shell-hunting along the shore. The beach was also surprisingly clean, which was a nice bonus. Overall, it was a relaxing beach vacation with plenty of natural beauty. The location and amenities of our hotel made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Don’t understand why they charge $2 to simply walk down the pier. Beach nearby is trashy. Saw two cops under the pier escorting someone off the beach. Beach is busy, I left after 5 mins.

Visitors can enjoy food trucks before the shows and take advantage of the nearby beach for a lovely evening stroll. The spacious layout makes it ideal for hosting large events without feeling crowded, while its well-maintained surroundings add to its appeal.
Loved our visit for the 2024 Buddy Walk, Oktoberfest was amazing at sharing the venue and supporting the cause! We had a blast making memories for the kids.

Just attended Springing the Blues. Jax Beach does an excellent job of providing support, and everything went very smoothly. There are plenty of restrooms, security, and, of course, the beautiful venue right off the beach. Makes living in Florida a real treat.

A simple open venue where lots of events are held throughout the year, like pop-up art events, movie nights, music events, and food and drink events. Also the location for Deck the Chairs annual Christmas event. Easy parking in the public lot immediately adjacent to the park or in multiple nearby lots or street parking.

Was at the Seawalk Pavillion for the annual "Deck the Chairs" event. The event was, as usual, very nice. It was well-represented by all the different businesses and organizations that decorated the lifeguard beach chairs beautifully. A very enjoyable evening walking through the exhibit.

Surfer [The Bar]

Bar
Surfer [The Bar] is a trendy two-level establishment that serves up cocktails, beer, and casual Mexican and Japanese cuisine in a stylish setting adorned with surfing decor. Located in Jacksonville Beach, this popular spot offers something for everyone with its wrap-around balcony overlooking the beach, lively DJ music upstairs, and a more relaxed atmosphere on the first floor. Ladies can enjoy drink specials on Thursdays until closing time.
We’ve been coming to Surfer the Bar since it first opened, and we always love the vibe here. The music, the ocean view, and the energy are great—but this visit was extra special thanks to our bartender, Miles. Hands down our favorite! He’s got such a great personality, super friendly, and just makes you feel welcome the moment you sit down. We had fun chatting with him over a couple of drinks. At night, Surfer is one of the best spots in Jax Beach—upstairs you can dance to house music with a gorgeous ocean view from the balcony, and downstairs there’s often live music. Just be aware they do have a dress code at night (no sleeveless shirts for men), which caught us by surprise considering we were there just a couple hours earlier. Still, Miles and the great atmosphere will keep us coming back!

This was an interesting place, not quite the vibe I was expecting based on the name. I was expecting a laid back chill bar with some good music and drinks. What I got was a loud club atmosphere that was hard to talk over with a 10min wait at the bar. We did enjoy the outdoor space because it was quieter and had a fun soccer/table game. But it was just too loud for me to enjoy myself.

Dog friendly and nice people to chat with. Great spot on the beach

had a nice time at this bar specifically for its outdoor space and cornhole! unfortunately at the end of the night they overcharged us by $200+ dollars, which they insisted we had to pay. the whole night we paid entirely in cash except for 1 single round of drinks which we put on a credit card. instead of closing out the cash payments, they put all of our drinks on our credit card and double charged us. also very minor but the karaoke guy kept skipping our song- kept telling us we were up next and just played his friends’ songs :( overall great bar for the cornhole and outdoor space, just double check your bill at the end of the night.

It is a nice bar. Good crowd. Was a bit young as we were the old codgers lol. But they played a good selection of music and drinks were very well made. The crowd really enjoyed themselves as we did too. We woiuld definitely go back. The drinks were not bad priced. We had an old fashioned and Mai Tai. Very good taste.
Will R — Google review
Cool vibe and atmosphere on the bottom floor with a good mix of music playing. Bar service on the bottom floor took forever, 15+ minutes to be acknowledged. Upstairs music was next level horrible, it was like they were trying to accommodate every single demographic at the same time. It was painful, couldn’t last more than 5 minutes listening to it.
Miko D — Google review
They staff was very rude & inconsiderate. The "bartender" that supposedly only had 1 of them at the bar wasn't true. There was a gentleman that didn't seem like he knew what he was doing. Again the quote in quote bartender could care less after he gave me a beer didn't hear much after that other than he was busy. Very unprofessional. The officer was the only respectful gentleman there and I appreciate that. Would not recommend this hole in the wall. Other than the staff that did their job I have nothing but respect.

Came here for a concert and had a great time. The area is clean and welcoming to a great experience. Didn't have to wait long for drinks, bathrooms were clean and parking was readily available. The heaters/torches helped me stay warm in 60 degree weather.

This is a good place to grab a quick bite to eat and a couple of beers before you head out on the beach. I would have given it 5 stars but the inside mainly the ceiling need some work is kind of rusty. But over all good service and good food

The place was a cool view of the ocean and fast friendly staff. The bad grose bloody marys. 3 dollars for a 6 oz plastic cup with way to much pepper. Didnt stay to eat.

The food was decent but way overpriced and really small portions. The wait staff was nice and laidback. The open air was a cool experience since it was on the beach. It seemed like they were renovating when we went so that may have been the reason for the poor table conditions. Try the fries and shrimp scampi but be prepared to pay a pretty penny for a small amount of food.

This all-suite hotel is located next to the beach, with ocean views and a heated outdoor pool. It has a restaurant, lobby bar, and fitness center as well as free Wi-Fi and parking.
We booked for one night originally and love the beach front location so much that we decided to stay another night spontaneously. The front desk was super helpful and made it possible to stay another night in the same room, even though the hotel was almost fully booked. The room was spacious and had a little kitchenette. We especially loved the balcony facing the ocean.

We stay at this hotel whenever we want a beach vacation. All of the rooms are oceanfront with balconies. The rooms are clean and spacious. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff is amazing! They are very welcoming and make guests feel at home. The breakfast buffet is very good and the chef also makes delicious omelets. Special thanks to our server, Crystal, who went out of her way to help us celebrate my husband's 84TH birthday. The cake was delicious and so unexpected. It was a very nice surprise!

We’ve stayed at this hotel several times and love it. All of the staff are so friendly, the rooms are the perfect size and layout, and we love the views of the beach from our rooms. We especially love Yolanda, who is there to greet us every morning at the breakfast buffet and takes such good care of us.

This hotel is the absolute best for a vacation get-away. Very quiet, clean, extremely helpful and friendly staff. Crystal in breakfast is amazing and she is so full of life it was a PLEASURE getting to know her over our stay. We also got to know Maria at the desk as well, WE LOVED MARIA!! I would choose this hotel again just because of the friendly staff and amazing rooms. Hotel is located close by to shops and eateries, the rooms are nicely renovated. I didn’t have one complaint about this location. Having worked for Marriott for 11 years this place beat all expectations. Thank you Four Points by Sheraton Jacksonville Beach, Team!!!

Was invited here for my birthday and had a wonderful time. Resort was clean room was clean. Pool was nice close to the beach and the food and drinks onsite amazing! Would stay here again for work or a family trip. Thank you for giving us a problem free/complaint free vacation! 10/10 would recommend. Would stay again. This place also feels very safe. You could walk around late at night or run out to the car with no issues. I truly enjoyed myself.

This place is great if you are looking for quick access to the beach. People are very friendly and accommodating. Elevator is super slow and very muggy as there is no air conditioning. Overall a good place to stay. Great views!

I spent three incredible days at this hotel for a board retreat, and Hanan, the talented cook, crafted the best omelets and scrambled eggs I've ever tasted! Her dedication shone through as she catered our retreat, preparing everything from scratch with love and care. We chose to stay put, savoring Hanan's inspiring meals right by the beach.

New American restaurant
Situated in South Jacksonville Beach, Eleven South Bistro offers an elegant yet warm setting for visitors and locals to enjoy sophisticated New American fare. The restaurant's award-winning team prepares seasonally inspired, worldly cuisine, providing a fine dining experience that is also fun and casual. With its distinctive location just blocks away from the ocean, Eleven South Bistro has received numerous awards over the years, including recognition from Wine Spectator.
Five stars isn’t enough! Eleven South is hands down the best restaurant in Jacksonville Beach—no contest. I’ve been trying to get a dinner reservation forever (they’re always booked solid—so plan ahead!), but luckily I snagged a spot for lunch, and wow… absolutely worth the wait. Started with the Royal Red Shrimp appetizer and that sauce? Next level. My taste buds basically went into orbit. Then I had the catch of the day with a fresh salad, and every bite was perfection—fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. Huge shoutout to our waiter, Taylor—he was fantastic! Super friendly, knew the menu like the back of his hand, and made the whole experience even better. Service like that makes all the difference. The vibe at Eleven South is upscale but laid-back, and everything—from the food to the service—is just on point. I’ll definitely be back (still on a mission for that dinner spot!). Eleven South, you’ve got yourself a lifelong fan.

We went to Eleven South for a birthday dinner and had a great experience! The server was very attentive and friendly, which made the night feel extra special. The food was delicious—everything we ordered was flavorful and well-prepared. They also offer free valet parking, which is super convenient, or you can try to find street parking nearby. Would definitely recommend for a nice night out!
Michelle C — Google review
We recently had the pleasure of dining at Eleven South while in Jacksonville. This is elevated dining without even a trace of pretension — the kind of place that manages to feel both refined and warmly inviting, a rare balance.. From the moment we were greeted to the final moments of our meal (we were, rather tellingly, the last to leave), the service was impeccable. Every detail was attended to with precision — our needs anticipated before we could voice them. The grilled octopus was perfectly prepared: tender, juicy, and bursting with flavour. The steak, however, was the true standout — robust, perfectly cooked, and rightly the house speciality. Their wine list is exceptional, thoughtfully curated, reflecting their deep knowledge and reverence for oenology. A small misstep — my salad was inadvertently left behind when I asked to have it boxed — was handled with such grace it deserves its own mention. Not only did our server and the manager offer sincere apologies, but a full-size replacement was quickly prepared boxed and packaged without hesitation. A completely unnecessary gesture, but one that speaks volumes about their commitment to hospitality. It’s this kind of care that transforms a lovely dinner into something truly memorable.

Lovely place to enjoy. I had the rack of lamb. Was absolutely perfect! My wife had the short ribs. Delicious! It was a great birthday experience for her! Madison was our server and she was an absolute delight! Thank you Madison!
Paul B — Google review
First, the service — truly outstanding. It’s hard to find good service these days, especially in busy restaurants, but Chris Whiteside was by far the best server I’ve had in years. He was attentive, kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. When our food took a little longer than expected, he surprised us with complimentary dessert without us even asking. He was also thoughtful enough to be mindful of the fact that I’m sober, pointing out which desserts would and wouldn’t be appropriate for me. That kind of care really sticks out. Now, the food. I’m a very picky eater at restaurants — not because I dislike food (quite the opposite, I’m a passionate home chef myself) — but because it takes a lot to impress me. And I have to say, this place blew me away. The steak with black garlic butter was absolutely incredible — one of the best I’ve ever had. The shrimp appetizer was to die for, and the crème brûlée was perfectly balanced, rich without being overly sweet. If I could give this place 10 stars, I absolutely would. My only small critique is that the restaurant is quite loud. A few acoustic tiles on the ceiling could make a world of difference.
Adrienne M — Google review
Stopped in for a working lunch. Sat outside- was so nice, covered, and great atmosphere. Roasted golden beet and goat cheese salad was amazing! Fresh catch was cooked perfectly. My server, Erica, was so pleasant and fun and made the whole experience really special!
Erica C — Google review
Food was delicious. We ended up ordered mostly off the evening specials. Our server was super attentive and good at knowing when to stop by to check or when to leave us alone. The patio atmosphere is wonderful. It was 65deg out, a nice ocean breeze was coming in and they had a few ceiling fans running on low to keep air circulating. There are table lights at each table and some dim ceiling lights so it’s a very intimate setting. The manager Vinny, introduced himself to us and came by to check and make sure everything was up to snuff. Overall everything was great and we’ll be back.

The food was absolutely delicious! Atmosphere is perfect, and our Server Ryan was amazing. A true professional and gentleman. We already have two birthday dinners scheduled to go back, and we will definitely be requesting Ryan again.
