Zoo
Outdoor Activities
The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens, established in 1923, is a sprawling 116-acre sanctuary and arboretum located just north of Orlando. It houses over 500 animals from 205 different species and boasts a diverse collection of flora. Visitors can explore various natural habitats and exhibits showcasing the animals' environments.
We went several months ago on our trip, I was going through the photos in my phone, realized that the experience we had here was amazing. The place was clean and soooo many different beautiful things to see. The night view was absolutely astonishing. If we get a chance to go back we would definitely consider going.

My wife and I stopped here in the late morning of Thursday, August 14, 2025 while on a camping trip and moving between Apopka and Port Canaveral. I was in my Dodge RAM 1500 pickup and towing my 20 travel trailer, but there was hardly anyone at the zoo yet and there was plenty of grass lot parking to fit both my truck and trailer without having to temporarily unhitch it. On the walk in to the ticket booth from the parking lot, we noted that they have this very cool little "kiddie train" and a mini-train station right at the entrance. There is also an extensive array of zip lines and launch/landing platforms around the park's entrance area for adults and older kids to enjoy but we didn't see any staff on duty on this weekday visit, so it may only be operated on the weekends. The ticket booth staff was friendly, and they gave me a Veteran discount that saved me about $10.00 on my entrance ticket. See my attached receipt on what entrance cost. Once inside the park, we noted that there is a splash pads for younger kids to enjoy, and it was operating with several kids enjoying the shooting water jets and cooling off. We then proceeded to walk and tour the zoo through a nice circular pathway route and series of board walks. It is very well laid out and they have a fairly extensive array of animals from tropical and temperate zone habitats, particularly for a medium sized zoo. It's also very kid friendly and there are several places to get cold drinks and snack foods around the interior of the park. After we were finished the tour and exited the gate we walked inside this conference hall to enjoy some air condition, and saw a picture of Jungle Jack Hannah, who got his start here as a Zookeeper way back in the early 1970s when the place first opened. We've always been fans of his show, this was a nice finish for us. Overall, this is a very nice zoo, and I would not hesitate to recommend it for kids of all ages (and old-aged big kids like my wife and I). It's easily accessible from Orlando or Daytona with lots of nice expressways close by.

This is an amazing facility with very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Feeding g the giraffe was the highlight of my Son's entire trip. There are a lot of animals to see and learn about, many of which are very engaging! Would definitely recommend as a family adventure :).
Courtney L — Google review
This place is just beautiful!!!! The Sanford Zoo is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the care and passion that goes into every detail. The animals are healthy, active, and clearly well cared for, with habitats that are both beautiful and educational. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to answer questions, making the visit even more engaging. I love how interactive the experience is—there’s something for all ages, from the lush botanical areas to the fun animal encounters. It’s the perfect mix of adventure, learning, and relaxation. A must-visit for locals and visitors alike!
Kuma — Google review
Well kept small zoo. We took the train ride expecting to see the zoo, but what we basically saw was the woods around the parking lot & cut cardboard cutouts of animals placed near the tracks. We enjoyed the morning. Mid September weather, not so hot.
Meg D — Google review
Not crowded. Nicely laid out and comfortable walking with many benches to sit. Water fountains very sparse, nice cold water dispenser in Bear enclosure info building. Giraffe exhibit a fave, and there's a little butterfly sanctuary at the entrance to Giraffe enclosure that had a nice bench to watch the butterflies fluttering by. One star off because many of the animals were clearly unhappy, even though well tended and cared for. Pretty normal for zoos.
Cary S — Google review
Had a great time while we came in to visit. Small zoo but has a lot of character for what it is. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Exhibits were perfect for viewing and animals were very active.
ROY T — Google review
Spent some time touring the grounds and visiting the animals. Great smaller zoo with a great selection of endangered animals! Everyone was incredibly nice and helpful. Good grounds and nice landscaping! Make sure you get a ticket for the train ride, it was so much fun!

Seminole Towne Center

Shopping mall
Seminole Towne Center is an indoor mall located in the Sanford area, featuring big-name department stores, clothing and gift shops, a carousel, and a food court. While some visitors have noted that several stores are closed down, others appreciate it as a cool place to walk during the summer months. The lower level of the market offers unique items like glowing liquor bottles and personalized smoking accessories.
Market Place lower level Fri-Sun I design liquer bottles that glow in the dark for that perfect gift. I design bongs, Hookahs, and trays for smokers. Everything can be personalized. I have hand made tables with Penny tops. Stop in and see my collection.

I've lived in Seminole County for 20 years, and I rarely visit the mall, which is a few miles from me. Was close by today, so I decided to stretch my legs and walk inside via the food court. Saw the bookstore, which is straight through and wandered around, seeing lots of lovely books and other knickknacks, but I was hungry, so I did not linger. Walked to food court and was going to order from Zen but then wound up wandering away and out of the mall. I know malls are a dying thing, I was there at 330p on a Friday, so hopefully, during the weekend, more folks keep the businesses there going.
P R — Google review
Mall is still decent. Took some entry videos. Downside to the mall is they need to get their escalators working properly there is no reason why you should be trapped downstairs once you go down from the second floor. I don't know how anybody that's handicap can get around in there I'll take photos and video next time I'm there of the escalator I'm sure it will be off again this is the third time I've been there and the third time they've been shut down.
John Y — Google review
Seminole Towne Center is a solid shopping destination with a good mix of stores, services, and food options. The mall is spacious and generally clean, and it’s easy to navigate with plenty of parking available. There’s a nice variety of retailers, from big-name brands to smaller specialty shops, and it’s a convenient place to run errands, browse, or spend a casual afternoon. Some areas of the mall could use a bit of updating or added energy, but overall it’s a pleasant place to shop. With a little more activity and a few modern touches, it could easily be a 5-star spot. Still, a reliable and enjoyable mall experience in the area!
Tim B — Google review
Walked into the sporting store thinking you could get to the mall from there but could not. Came out to try the mall but there were no trespassing signs in the door and the whole place looks like it's been abandoned. Turned around and went elsewhere
Kayla B — Google review
What a shame. This used to be a bustling mall, now it's just a bunch of empty storefronts and most of the stores that are still there were closed at 11 on a Saturday morning. At least the AC was working, so it's actually a nice quiet place to get some exercise walking with the heat indices outside in the 100's lately. Also the nice ladies at the Asian place were still giving free samples of orange chicken!
Joseph Y — Google review
It's where Sears use to be. It's called elevate. It's a really nice 2 story arcade place. All types of VR games and laser tag and bowling and all that. Weather you go with your kids or you and your friends. Just have fun because there's alot to do there.but remember it's an arcade and this place is the loudest one I've ever been to
Robert B — Google review
Huge mall. Lots of selections to shop and choose from. One of the nicest malls I've been to in the area. The view is spectacular and there's a huge selection of food available in the food court. Got my tshirts done at the tshirt store there.

Elev8 Fun Orlando

Amusement center
Indoor playground
Miniature golf course
Elev8 Fun Sanford, located at the Seminole Towne Center, is a two-story amusement center offering a wide range of activities for visitors of all ages. With its spacious layout and diverse entertainment options, including electric go karts, bowling alley, rope course, rock climbing, virtual reality, pool tables, arcade games, putt-putt golf, and laser tag, Elev8 Fun provides an ideal setting for birthday parties or family fun days.
Interesting to see getting there about 30mins after they opened and no wait - doing the Pro cart racing they give you a time - it is downstairs with the axe throwing & laser tag + pool tables. Definitely a place to come and enjoy with the entire family. They provide a veteran discount as well. The axe throwing for 1 hour seemed like 3hrs and a lot of fun + the Pro carts faster than expected and so much fun.

9/1/25: I intentionally came here so my little man can have some fun climbing the climbing walls. My family had a lot of fun playing together at Hapik in Garland, Texas. I searched in Florida for a similar place and Elev8 Fun is the closest with similar themed climbing walls like Hapik. Unfortunately, this place is not short or little kid friendly, but only big kid friendly when it comes to climbing activities. The climbing are was also closed too. It's just there for looks. My family played bowling. I wanted to set the bumper for my son but no one was able to help us do that after attempting to ask for help at the front desk twice. Terrible customer service. The place is lively and clean, just not little-kid friendly.
Snow L — Google review
I love this place, but I was really disappointed during my last visit. We showed up on a Saturday expecting it to be open until 12, as listed online. However, we were told they were closing at 11 due to “not a lot of traffic”—even though there were quite a few people still there. I mentioned that this change wasn’t advertised online, and they told me it was up to the manager’s discretion. It was frustrating and felt unfair, especially when we made plans based on the posted hours.

Super disappointed in service, value and operation. Celebrated our son’s birthday party with 10 boys. We were left waiting in a “party room” similar to a DMV room with no entertainment and nothing to do for over 45 minutes of a 2-hour party package. Extremely disappointing. Under-staffed, over-priced and poorly operated. Highly do NOT recommend Elev8 for any parties.
Eric N — Google review
We’ve had our problems with getting there and being able to race. We finally were able to get some racing in which was awesome. Unfortunately, there was an accident while my son was on track doing his final race.a female passenger did not have her hair tied up appropriately which cause the race to completely stop. Kane handled this situation so professionally and treated the female passenger respectfully and was very helpful to her. ELEV8 you are blessed to have Kane working with you.

Great time. We came from out of town. Food was freshly made and very good! We had burgers and pizza and both were really good. We gave it 4 stars because of price to have fun...like everything else it's pricey now. Also the sign in process is lengthy & kinda complicated if you're just doing it once to have fun for a couple of hours.

This place is super fun and the employees and the manager are super helpful, definitely buy arcade credits at the counter

Department store
Kohl's is a beloved chain department store that offers an extensive range of clothing, accessories, and homewares. With locations like the two-story Sanford store, shoppers can enjoy a spacious layout while exploring various deals and discounts. This particular location features convenient services such as an Amazon return desk on the upper level, where customers are rewarded with coupons for their returns—an excellent incentive to keep shopping!
The lady named Camille, I think her name is, was so friendly and helpful when using my kohls credit card and explaining how many rewards I’ve built! I didn’t know I could use. Sweet lady, clean store! Lately, great friendly customer service!!
Courtney F — Google review
This is a nice 2 story Kohls. They always have some sort of sale and/or coupons so don't ever get something at full price, it will have a sale. This is also an Amazon return location. You get a coupon if you return something from Amazon.
David A — Google review
Walked out and left my entire purchase. We were waiting for a manager to do an override on a wrongly priced item. We were asked to step aside so they could cash out many other customers. Was told she would be right over then was told she’s dealing with UPS and to keep waiting. Mean while I have 2 kids I’m trying to keep calm. No thanks.
Tiffany B — Google review
Truly was the cashier from Ohio. She was very pleasant, answers questions and completed the transaction with no problems.
Michael W — Google review
Kohl's is one of my favorite places to shop. Usually I go to Oviedo, but the last couple visits I went to the Sanford location, which is a 2-story building. I was returning an Amazon package and the Amazon return desk was upstairs to the left rear of the store. This is a nice service that they've added presumably to get more shoppers in the store. Upon returning an Amazon package they reward you with a coupon for a discount that you can use right then. Customer Service is also upstairs in the rear of the store. The restrooms were very clean and stocked with TP, paper towels and soap. The store seemed to be well-stocked and ready for back-to-school shopping. Kohl's has great sales and a Rewards program. Their mobile app is one of the best regarding ease of use and locating a specific product, keeping track of rewards, etc.
Mari E — Google review
Cancelled my credit card for non usuage. Could have given me a message or email. They didn't and now I'll never apply again.

I love to shop at this location. The store is clean and organized. Nice staff

Great location. 2 floors so took some time getting around the store. This location has the Amazon pick-up / Drop off. Also the check outs are better organized and they have a big tv that announces who is next and which check out to go to.

Pizza restaurant
Chianti's Pizza & Pasta is a warm and contemporary Italian eatery located at 685 Towne Center Blvd in Sanford. The restaurant offers a wide selection of classic Italian dishes, including pastas, meat entrees, and pizzas. Named after the popular Tuscan table wine, Chianti's provides a family-oriented atmosphere for guests to enjoy their meals. The menu features delectable options such as lobster ravioli and basil margherita pizza.
First, they brought us a plate of garlic knots with the freshest garlic. We ordered the Calamari Arrabiata for our appetizer; the calamari was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the spicy pomodoro dipping sauce was out of this world. I even ventured to dip my garlic knots in it. Yum! I ordered the Chicken Alfredo for my main dish. The chicken was tender, the sauce thick and creamy. Our waiter was delightful, as was the atmosphere. Oh, and their sangria was top notch—subtly sweet with currents of cinnamon. Altogether, great experience! Would dine here again in a heartbeat.

I recently ordered catering for an event. If you are thinking about using them for catering, here’s your sign. From the initial consultation, the patience with me with last minute changes to the order, the delivery and setup - everything was done with perfect execution. The food was so good that my guests and I were happy to serve ourselves seconds.

Great authentic homemade food!! Oooh sooo good!! ❤❤😋😋 I got the stuffed shells, BEST I've ever had. Also the balsamic dressing they make is incredible, I used it on the Greek side salad instead of what it comes with.... Yuuummm!! Cozy little place, where you feel like family & you just stopped in to say Hi, & ended up with a plate of homemade Love. Greek side salad & chicken Alfredo shown (also fantastic) I forgot to take pic of stuffed shells. 😄

Absolutely the same fresh margarita pizza I’ve had here when Chianti’s first opened. FRESH ingredients & reasonably priced. Hands down on of the BEST in town. Try My go to: Chicken Picatta thanx David for excellent service.

I honestly never leave reviews but I had to save anyone else about to spend the money. We got take out, I got the chicken Alfredo which was 24 dollars, and it was seriously the worst. The pasta wasn’t fully cooked, it was still kind of hard and the chicken looked super processed. My boyfriend got the lasagna and said it was super bland (20 dollars) and the garlic knots were super hard not soft at all I feel like they were left out for a while? We just moved to Sanford and have been wanting to try it but since it’s so expensive we picked a good time to splurge. No way this is authentic. Don’t spend the money.

Fun place for a big party. Service was very good. Food was average.

Our waiter was David. We were visiting the area by way of flying out of Sanford. We were recommended Chianti's at our hotel Best Western Plus because we wanted Italian Cuisine. Walked in and the atmosphere was quaint and a flair of romance. The energy emitting from the room was like a nice family atmosphere yet a place one could be romantic at the same time. Food was authentic, delicious and served freshly made and prepared. Our compliments went to the Chef.

Mexican restaurant
Chipotle Mexican Grill is a fast-food chain that specializes in Mexican cuisine. They offer a variety of options such as customizable burritos, tacos, and bowls. It is renowned for its high-quality food and is considered one of the top restaurants for Mexican fare. Ordering online is recommended to avoid long lines during peak hours, which are efficiently managed by their attentive staff. The only aspect that could be improved upon is their beverage selection.
This Chipotle location is the best! I will even drive to this one as opposed to the 17-92 location that is closer to my house because the food, service, and portions for what you pay are all great here. This location is the best of the Sanford/Lake Mary locations, in my opinion, for these reasons. The food is always fresh, the portions make you feel like you're actually getting what you paid for (unlike other restaurants or Chipotle locations as well), and all of the employees are very friendly. I can't say enough great things about this location and it's employees!
Mike H — Google review
I visited Chipotle at 11 am to try their new Chipotle Honey Chicken. Honestly, I wish it had a spicier kick, as it was quite sweet. Nevertheless, I still maintain that their steak is the best. I placed a pickup order, and my food arrived promptly when I arrived at the restaurant. The service was exceptional. Unfortunately, halfway through my bowl, I discovered a long hair in it. While this is an unfortunate occurrence, I wasn’t overly upset. The staff promptly replaced my bowl without charge.
Isaiah B — Google review
Ordered food, people were amazing. The portions were really good. I go to pay and my bill is way more than it should be so I asked why. This girl in the picture tried charging me double meat on our 4 kids meals because we asked for the meat on the side of the quesadillas instead of in them. I asked the manager because I don't want to pay for food I didn't get. The girl laughed at us, laughed because we didn't want to pay for food we again, didn't get. The manager seemed unbothered by her attitude but he did take the extra charges off our bill. This manager should do better with his people and she should be written up for the way she treats people. Do better Chipotle.
S.Leigh W — Google review
I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I received during my recent visit to your Chipotle location. I have been a regular customer and have never experienced any issues in the past, but today’s encounter was exceptionally unprofessional and unacceptable. During my visit, one of your employees—an African-American male with dreads, wearing a hat and glasses—handled my order in a rushed and careless manner. He interrupted the normal flow of service, hastily took over the line, and repeatedly rushed me through my order without allowing me to clarify the specific items I wanted, including details for my partner’s meal. In addition to his dismissive attitude, the employee served me the leftover scraps from the steak pan, provided an unreasonably small portion, and displayed a clear lack of courtesy. His behavior was rude and dismissive from start to finish. What makes this even more concerning is that there was no line or crowd to justify the rush—there was simply no reason for such hurried and discourteous service. This level of conduct is entirely unbecoming of a Chipotle employee. It reflects poorly on both the individual and the management team overseeing operations. I strongly recommend that this employee either receive immediate retraining in customer service or be evaluated for termination, as his behavior directly contradicts the professional standards expected at your establishment. I will not be returning to this location as a result of this experience. I hope management takes this matter seriously and ensures that the quality of service is restored to the level customers rightfully expect from Chipotle.
RaloVidz — Google review
Good food, however, portions have gone down significantly. Bowles used to be full.
AkGrown71 — Google review
I went here and I was helped by a girl who had red hair and was short with a lot of attitude. I asked to receive beans on my burrito and she scraped out what was left from an empty container. Like I received 10 to 15 beans. I asked for more and she told me I had some and passed my food along. I was treated rudely and not given the food I asked and paid for. Very disappointed. Go to a different chipotle that will treat you better. Or in fact, just don’t go to chipotle. Very frustrating and wish I could get my money back.
James J — Google review
My husband and I come here a lot and every time they have been so nice and friendly! The inside is always clean, and the service is 10/10. Probably the best chipotle in the area.
Anastasia L — Google review
I’m so done with Chipotle. Every location at this point. It ran by a bunch of children and irresponsible adults. 9/10 times they’re out of something with an extremely long line and no one communicating this. They also seem to never be prepared to make more of whatever they’re out of anytime that same day. I used to pay for it without the things I want and they advertise but those days are done. It seems like this is their culture now, so they will not be getting another dime from me.

Sobik's Subs, a long-standing establishment known for its cheesesteaks, Cuban sandwiches, and deli subs since 1969, is also renowned for its salads and spaghetti options. This beloved spot has recently undergone a remodel, giving it a fresh appearance. Patrons rave about the unique steamer used to warm up their cheese steak sandwiches. After an extended absence, one customer was delighted to find that Sobik's Subs still maintained its exceptional quality.
My dad and I love getting lunch at Sobik’s! We always get subs, but there are so many other options including wings, baked potatoes, wraps, salads, and more.

Decided to try this place out today because we were starving. The sandwiches we ordered had zero flavor. We ordered the steak sub with fries, and the chicken club sub. To be completely honest, I don’t even know if my dog would have enjoyed it. Save your money and go to a better sandwich shop.

I stopped in because I had a coupon for a free 8 inch sub. (Coupons are in the Sanford Herald) I ordered the eggplant parmesan and the anti pasta salad. Great choices. The boss should know that the 2 guys behind the counter were super friendly. I will be back. 🙂

Love this place! I used to come here all the time when I worked by here. Still just as good. Looks brand new as they remodeled it. I always got the cheese steak, love the little steamer thing they warm it up in. I got in again since it has been so long. I missed it. My daughter got a Turkey sub and it looked really good. They also have potatoe saled, and all kinds of things. Check it out, you can't go wrong.

Zombie employees, $15 for a salad I could fit in the palm of my hand, and $66 later (no drinks purchased)…I could think of at least 66 places I’d rather eat. Sadly, it’s a losing battle for Sobik’s.

simple local sub shop that does everything right. traditional atmosphere, incrediblely detailed and helpful staff. food hits the spot just right. highly recommend the steak n cheese w pepperoncinis

Pretty good food spot when you're on a budget. I thought the meatball sub was very basic, and I wasn't given any options to add, say some pepperoni or roasted red pepper's.

Day 2

North side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the north side side of town. Start the day off with Orlando Sanford International Airport, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Black Bear Wilderness Area. All together, your day would be filled with about 8 hours of non-stop fun.

Orlando Sanford International Airport

International airport
Airport
Orlando Sanford International Airport, situated just five miles south of downtown, was once a Navy air base before it closed in 1969. Despite its small size and limited services, the airport offers stress-free experiences with friendly staff and efficient security. The long-term parking is straightforward and hassle-free, allowing travelers to park easily and return to their cars without any issues. While there are few food options available, the airport provides ample parking with no traffic concerns.
Orlando Sanford International Airport is a hidden gem for travelers heading to Central Florida. Located about an hour’s drive (roughly 43 miles) from Walt Disney World, it’s a smooth, scenic trip that’s well worth it for the stress-free experience this airport offers. Unlike the busy Orlando International Airport, SFB is smaller, quieter, and incredibly easy to navigate. What really makes SFB stand out is how quick and simple everything is—from check-in to security to boarding. The lines are short, the staff is friendly, and you’re not overwhelmed by crowds. For families with kids or anyone who values convenience, this airport is a game-changer. SFB is a major hub for Allegiant Air, which offers incredibly affordable nonstop flights to many smaller U.S. cities. It’s not unusual to find round-trip fares under $100, making this a great option for budget-conscious travelers. There’s also a touch of history here—once a Naval Air Station, the airport honors its past with a small but meaningful military memorial inside by ticket counters in Terminal B. All in all, Sanford Airport is clean, efficient, and surprisingly relaxed. If you’re flying into Florida for a theme park vacation or just visiting family, this is a fantastic alternative to the chaos of bigger airports.

We spent a lot of time here involuntarily. The airport is lovely. It's small, easy to navigate, the staff are nice, and it is not a crowded place. What stopped us from leaving was poor maintenance. They could not start our Allegiant plane - the planes APU must have been INOP. So they brought in a huffer cart to start it. We were all boarded and waiting for a start. It turns out, that cart was broken, so they brought in another one. That one was also broken. So they brought in a third - and that was broken as well. This was in the middle of the night. They called maintenance, but in the meantime, the crew of our plane ran over their hours and had to leave. So we had to deplane and leave the airport What an adventure.
Greg E — Google review
Eh. Fine as fair as airports go. My primary beef was that they have near to no chain restaurants. AND I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE THINKING: "Ugh, Reagan, who comes to complain about there being no chain restaurants in an airport." ME! ME! When the alternatives are being stuck here with only the crappiest, smallest, poor attempts at dining. It's a small beef, but one I feel like could easily be solved with some expected and decent food. The food options are very much "hospital food" options, and that's my being pretty optimistic about it. Because they're a small airport, I felt like there were plenty of seating options, it was pretty clean, and TSA was a quick and easy experience. However, I'll never miss a chance to gripe about people who choose to put random, weird restaurants in a place where people are forced to be. UGH. Now it makes sense why the food is bad. They know it is bad. They need a captive audience to make sales. Sigh.
Reagan E — Google review
This airport is small with not very much traffic so it is unlikely for your flight to be delayed. Plus there isn’t that many people around in the gate areas so it doesn’t feel crowded, but one thing I do not like is the lack of food options and how it says it’s Orlando Sanford airport when it isn’t very close to Orlando. Otherwise if you’re looking for an airport in the Orlando area that isn’t busy and you like allegiant this is the airport for you!
Benjamin W — Google review
This airport honestly exceeding my expectations. It was really hassle free. They had great food options, like ZAZA as well as healthier food options like Natures Table. The airport was clean. The best part was the kids area that had cushioned flooring as well as animal statues that were cushioned for kids to climb - and near the kids area they have chairs for parents and chargers. Great experience that makes me want to utilize the airport more in the future

Traveling with a newborn is no joke, but Alyssa at the Allegiant check-in counter in Sanford made everything so much easier. She was patient, kind and went above and beyond to help me book my flight after driving all the way from Orlando. She even asked if I needed help lifting my heavy luggage; something most agents don't even think to do. I was honestly touched by how caring and calm she was. She truly made a stressful travel day feel manageable. I hope I get her the next time I check-in for my future flights!
Nostalgic N — Google review
Most check-in agents just rush you through, but Alyssa was the total opposite : friendly, helpful, and actually cared. She answered all my questions without getting irritated and helped me with my booking like it was no trouble at all. She even complimented my nails while we chatted (small thing, but it made the interaction feel genuine, not robotic). I travel almost every week, and it’s not often you come across agents like her. The Sanford airport itself is one of my favorites, it's easy to navigate, clean, and never overly crowded and having someone like Alyssa at the counter just makes it even better.
GiGi — Google review
I don’t usually write reviews, but Alyssa at Allegiant’s Sanford counter deserves one. She helped my wife and me rebook after a long drive from Tampa and did it with total professionalism and patience. You don’t often see that level of kindness at an airport counter, especially these days. She even offered to lift our bags instead of watching us struggle & that says a lot about her character. This is was especially helpful, as I have ongoing back problems and my wife is petite and would never be able to lift those bags without assistance. She turned what could’ve been a frustrating experience into a smooth one.

Fort Mellon Park in Sanford is a picturesque lakefront park that offers a range of amenities for visitors. It features fitness trails, public restrooms, BBQ grills, a playground suitable for kids of all ages, and tennis courts. The park also includes a splash pad to cool off on hot summer days and basketball courts for sports enthusiasts. Additionally, it provides access to the scenic Sanford Riverwalk with ample seating options along the walkway.
Great place for kids. $2 to get into splash pad (not bad at all). Plenty of room for playing, playground is big. A big plus>> they have bathrooms!! Nice view of the lake as well, sidewalks to take a nice walk. There were two shaved ice carts here today and an ice cream truck. Definitely coming here again. Clean as well one slide was out of order but they safely blocked it off so no kids could use it (the welded a metal plate at the top of slide and at bottom)

No shade. Yes I understand it's hard to make trees grow fast to make shade but wow was the playground hot. My kid struggled to play on all the hot equipment The splash pad was the opposite... Very cool and actual cool :) all in all a beautiful park and lots of space for fun and parties. Just maybe go on a an over cast day or early in the morning?

Really nice park with beautiful views of the lake 🌅. The playground is spacious, clean, and perfect for kids to enjoy safely. Plenty of open space for walking, relaxing, or having a picnic. Great spot for families, exercise, or just unwinding by the water; definitely one of the gems in the area!

We stopped by here for a respite before driving home from Florida. It was close to the Sanford Auto train that family was taking. The kids liked looking at the black water and 2 manatees were swimming. The splash pad was a nice place to cool your feet. The playground was large with a variety of things to do. There were benches to sit in shade or sun. Very nice atmosphere.

Soft padding for playground area. Play area for both big kids and small. Nice little area with fountains for the kids to get wet on a hot day. Looks like it could be good fishing. Nice bench swings to catch the sunrise. There was even a museum we didn't get to look at. There seems to be something for everyone in the family here. It's clean and I didn't have to worry about my kids finding drugs on the playground or being offered any on our way into it. I was there midday on a Thursday, who knows what the weekends and evenings bring though.

Very nice park adjacent to a beautiful river view with plenty of parking on both sides of the park. The landscapingb is beautiful, including a duck filled pond, an open field for sports, party areas with large picnic tables, a grill and even an electric outlet, a children's playground with rubber matting, 2 solar panel recharging stations, multiple basketball courts, a children's water fountain park and even a free Sanford Museum nearby.

Great playground with splash pad. Pad opens at 10 am today. Bring bug spray. LOTS of mosquitoes. We got here at 9am and had to leave due to not having bug spray. It was pretty bad but it is summer time

Wonderful park. I love that there are different parts of the park for different age groups (playground areas) they have a basketball court so that's a good thing. There is lots to do at this park. Water activities like jet skiing, boating, fishing, people watching, and just sitting around enjoying everything this park has to offer

Nestled in the heart of Historic Downtown Sanford, Celery City Craft Beer Garden is a vibrant destination for craft beer enthusiasts and food lovers alike. This lively bar boasts an impressive selection of over 40 taps, all adorned with playful celery stalk designs. The spacious outdoor patio invites guests to relax under the trees while enjoying delicious pub fare from their menu, which includes tasty offerings from the popular Sushi & Seoul food stand.
My review is for the cigar bar side. Best cigar bar in Florida. Reason 1... it is NOT smoky inside at all. The ventilation system is amazing. #2. The drinks are FIRE! #3. Bartenders are customer oriented, giving top-notch suggestions and service. #4. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. Great place for a fancy cocktail and music.

We visited Celery City on a Monday when most every other establishment in Sanford is closed. We were a party of 4 and we all enjoyed the experience at Celery City. There is no table service, as you order and collect your drinks at the bar, and the food is ordered outside in the Beer Garden. It was a cool and rainy day when we were there, so nobody was seated outside.

Stopped in for a few beers and cocktails after eating elsewhere. HUGE outdoor seating area. Great live music. We saw a young buffing star sing her heart out. The indoor area is big, but much smaller. It's in a restaurant and bar zone. Very comfortable to sit and relax.

Had the sushi today, I order the chicken bowl and Poke bowl, my chicken was too salty and the Poke bowl was ok, had way better than this. Price was way too pricey, not worth $38. It wasn't a wow for me.

I love this place. My husband and I go there often to have a few beers and relax. The service is great, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the place is spacious. I would come back many more times. They have delicious sushi during the day.

Huge list of beers to pick from. Amazing, kind & friendly service. The seating mostly is outdoor which goes well with a great beer. The food is separate to be ordered which has limited choice to pick from, but whatever you do get there is delicious. Great place for good food and delicious beer downtown sanford, near the river walk.

I didn't have food but the folks with me enjoyed it. Many beers to choose from. Nice outdoor area. Cool vibe! I will return!

This place is really awesome. I’ve been coming for the last 3 years and I’m never disappointed. If you are a craft beer drinker, there will for sure have a beer for you, lots of options. The outside area is very zen. Lots of picnic tables, large trees, and umbrellas for shade. There is usually music playing in the background for a chill vibe. If you like beer variety and a relaxed place to drink outdoors (they have a small indoor seating area as well), Celery City does not disappoint!

Nestled in the heart of Downtown Sanford, the Colonial Room Restaurant is a charming eatery that exudes a warm, nostalgic vibe reminiscent of classic American diners. This inviting spot serves up hearty Southern fare for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, making it an ideal choice for family gatherings or casual meals. The outdoor seating on Saturday mornings offers delightful people-watching opportunities under the shade of magnificent live oak trees that grace this historic district.
This is your quintessential American diner with scrumptious food, excellent service and a relaxed atmosphere at very fair prices. I were just looking for a quick bite to eat on a Saturday morning and ordered the standard scrambled eggs with biscuit and home fries, french toast and coffee. Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked and delicious. The french toast was warm, fluffy and we just devoured it. Even if you're just looking for a cup of coffee I highly recommend this place - it was great. The service was exceptional as well. Even though it was busy, we were seated right away and attended to in a very friendly and timely manner. It took about 5 minutes from the time we sat to the time our food was served.

Downtown Sanford has some great spots for a classic American breakfast, and this one really stood out. The menu offered plenty of options, and everything we tried was delicious. The staff provided excellent service, always attentive and friendly, we especially appreciated how they kept our coffee cups full without even asking. It’s the kind of welcoming, homey atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again. Definitely recommended if you’re looking for a solid breakfast experience in Sanford.

The atmosphere was pretty in downtown historic Sanford . The food was any average dinner food, the waitress started off pretty nice but me & my mother in law misunderstood what she was telling us & I believe it made her upset because my mother in law ordered scrambled eggs & it had a huge eggshell in her eggs. I’m a server I’ve been in restaurant industry for over 8 years front & back of the house. As well as went to college for culinary arts . So I truly understand & do not recommend this place . The rudeness my mother in law encountered was ridiculous for someone that’s so kind .

My breakfast order was the 5 egg. Omelet meat lovers, ham sausage, bacon and cheese. The omelet was fully loaded. I also got hash Browns whole wheat toast with Aside order of. Sausage gravy For my hash Brown's. Along with an orange juice. I think we're 12 oz. A very, very good Breakfast overall? And well worth the price For the food, the orange juice, however, was very expensive for what you've got. With a 20% tip and the price of the breakfast expect to spend about 30 bucks. Again, the food was exceptional.

Was in town visiting family and dropped by after getting picked up at the airport. Service was good as the wait staff were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was great and the establishment was very clean. There were plenty of seating inside and even outdoor patio options available during our visit. The food was a bit generic basic diner food that left something to be desired. Our food and sides were not as cheap as others in the area and even though we paid more the quality wasn’t present. Our omelets had American single slices of cheese and the potatoes had seen better days (dry and unseasoned.) Pancakes were good and I’d say that was at least the saving grace. Cheers!!

New place for us and it was excellent. We both had 5 egg omelette and they were huge and tasty. Will definitely go again. The plate was covered with the omelette so you can tell I was hungry and enjoyed the food.

Black Bear Wilderness Area is a sprawling natural reserve covering 1,600 acres in northwest Seminole County. It boasts diverse wetland habitats like Cypress Swamps and Wet Prairies, providing a home to various wildlife such as Florida Black Bears, American Alligators, River Otters, and White-tailed deer. The area offers an extensive network of trails and boardwalks for visitors to immerse themselves in the lush marshy landscape while encountering native flora and fauna.
First time here! It was a blast! Beautiful trails...and a lot of roots...lol...it has 7.1 mi...I did only 3 mi going the right side that goes into de St.Johns river(1 mile walking) looking for birds because I am a bird-wildlife photographer...I didn't saw a lot of birds besides the usual...the nice thing is that there's a lot of shadows because of the trees...gorgeous scenery of the river and a few animals lone wild boars,,raccoons, etc...well maintained and it has a portable potty at the entrance...bring water and insect repellent...
Nasty_2001_gt — Google review
This is a must-do destination in the central Florida region. The wilderness area is circled by a 7.1 mile loop around a dense forest and wetlands area. I didn't see any black bear, but I did see 3 alligators, 5 feral pigs, including 2 piglets, a hawk catching prey in a tree right in front of me, dozens of waterfowl, butterflies, a red-bellied woodpecker, 1.7 billion lizard, and a variety of grasses and other plants, as well as a large number of tree species. There are about twenty boardwalks throughout the trail, and they get you well above the water, giving you a better chance of seeing animals. The trail has convenient signs every quarter mile to let you know your progress. Since the terrain is flat, I suggest planning on 3-4 hours to make the circuit at a reasonable walking pace. Bring lots of water. I didn't have time to get insect repellant so it was fortunate I didn't get a single bite. The wilderness area wasn't too crowded and there was plenty of parking. Now go make your own fun!

Black Bear Wilderness Area has a beautiful 7.5 miles loop trail that is a must do! The trail is well maintained, but you do have to watch your footing for tree roots. It has abundant wildlife. We saw a Bear in the parking lot before we even started our hike! We also encountered wild hogs, and alligator, a pygmy rattlesnake, and a wide variety of birds. We will definitely do it agsin.again. our GPS told us to turn at the stop sign, but you should go straight to the parking lot. There is a porta potty at the trail head. It was clean when we visited.
Pattie K — Google review
Decided to come on a Wednesday morning and was surprised to find the parking lot pretty full. I decided to take the trail clockwise to avoid a large group and I'm glad that I did because I hardly passed anyone on the trail for at least 4 of the 7 miles. I didn't see many animals, except for the usual birds, lizards, and squirrels. I did happen to catch two manatees breaking the surface of the water, which was neat and a pleasant surprise. The trail is relatively easy, but it varies in terrain and may be harder for young children and those with mobility issues. The trail has washed away a little bit in a few spots but nothing difficult to pass. The trail is mostly shaded but there are some brief spots of full on sun. There is a porta potty at the trailhead, but I've never used it so I can't tell you if it's well maintained or not. I'm glad that more people are enjoying being outside, but make sure to read up on trail etiquette so that we can all enjoy this beautiful space for years to come.

This park is a Florida hidden gem! We saw otters, numerous species of birds, turtles, wild boar, etc. Although our hike was in July, the canopy coverage for shade, kept us comfortable and cool for a FL summer.

This was one of my favorite hikes in the Orlando area, this is a fantastic Central Florida Gem. It is a 7 min loop and not all of it is decked there tree roots and inclines to move around. The trail is not wheel friendly but a really cool hike I'd definitely recommend for low cost incredibly high value Florida nature appreciation. There is also wild life out there, I saw wild pigs, wood peckers, heard the harmonuis craoks of frogs, and an orchestra of crickets. Wear some kind of bug repellent and sturdy comfortable shoes.

This was such a nice hike. We got to see boars, some gators, lizards and squirrels every where and a variety of bugs. We also got to see the river otter and it was so cuteeee kids were super stoked. And let’s not forget the turtle blocking the path 😌

Zorbas Greek Food is a delightful haven for those craving authentic Greek cuisine in Sanford. This relaxed eatery offers a menu brimming with traditional dishes like spanakopita and chicken souvlaki pitas, alongside Mediterranean favorites such as pizza and calzones. The ambiance is casual, perfect for unwinding on the sidewalk patio while enjoying friendly service.
Our first time here, the food was delicious, flavorful, and fresh. Sanchez, our server was the best! He knows the menu had great recommendations. He was one of the best servers I've experienced in a long time. The restaurant itself is relaxing, clean, and not what I had expected. I am very pleased with my experience here. We will be back and I recommend giving this place a try. You will not be disappointed.

We could hear a little of the kitchen staff talking and having a good time, to me that’s a good sign a happy kitchen makes good food. The decor of the restaurant is cozy with notes of vintage Greece. The music is beautiful soundtracks of the Mediterranean, in the perfect volume to be able to have a conversation with your party. The service is friendly and efficient, Jacob took care of our table (thanks again!) The food, oh the food!, is just fresh and delicious. So good, this is not our first or last time at this gem. 💎

I'll start by saying the food was absolutely fresh and amazing. However, the restaurant wasn't that busy and took a solid 20 mins after sitting just to get some bottled beer, for that i took away a point since we weren't in that much of a hurry. But since the food was that good we give it a pass. 9/10 ~for food. 👍

During Memorial Day weekend, I traveled directly from Tallahassee to The Old Jailhouse Kitchen & Spirits. Despite arriving at the last minute, the restaurant was completely packed on a Saturday night. While my wife's chicken gnocchi dish didn't impress us much and tasted similar to an expensive pot pie, the Pork Belly appetizer was promptly served and incredibly delicious. However, the true standout of our meal was the Black n Blue pasta – it was absolutely extraordinary!
Came here for my birthday last weekend and had a blast. Love the decor and was lucky enough to get the first "jail cell" to the right as soon as you walk in. Fit a party of 11 perfectly and our server(s) were amazing. Food was also great. Everything we ordered was fantastic. Will definitely be back.

A Truly Arresting Culinary Experience! The Old Jailhouse, Sanford, FL The Old Jailhouse is not just a meal; it is an impeccably designed destination that captures the unique, historical charm of Sanford. Its location is unbeatable, situated right in the heart of the historic downtown, making it the perfect starting or ending point for exploring the area's vibrant scene and fantastic local microbreweries. What truly sets this establishment apart is the magnificent and tasteful decoration that boldly celebrates its previous life. The designers managed to honor the building's identity as a former jailhouse—with stunning architectural details—while transforming it into a sophisticated, refined dining space. The ambiance is evocative, unique, and feels both respectful of history and entirely high-end. The meticulous care taken with the environment is evident in every corner. The entire experience is elevated by the staff. The service was professional, cheerful, and incredibly helpful, ensuring every detail of our late lunch was flawless. The beverage menu is outstanding. The cocktails are true works of art—complex, innovative, and perfectly executed; they are exactly the kind of sophisticated, layered drinks you would expect to see in a movie. The food is the absolute centerpiece. Every dish we ordered was exquisitely presented, demonstrating a high level of skill and artistry from the kitchen. More importantly, the food was absolutely delicious, proving that the substance easily matches the style. Final Verdict For anyone seeking an elevated dining experience that combines unique local history with modern culinary excellence, The Old Jailhouse is a mandatory visit. It is highly recommended for dining out with a friend and small groups looking for a memorable night.

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Cozy atmosphere and the food from the scratch kitchen is delicious. My two chicken sliders were elevated with pickled red onions and a delicious sauce. My husband got a steak sandwich but again, his sandwich was super foodie with real chunks of delicious steak, tiny pearl onions and creamy cheese. The French fries are perfectly salty and crispy. They have a great selection of craft beers which we tried and some wonderful looking specialty cocktails. Our server Maria was awesome. Sorry I didn’t take pictures when we first got our food. We thought their prices were very reasonable and a great value considering their food is so good.

Tried this piece for the first time after having heard good things. Here is my take. The theme inspired atmosphere is great. The brick walls, barred windows, dim lighting, and jail cells hit exactly the mark they were aiming for. Our server was pleasant and attentive. I had the mushroom gnocchi and my wife had the steak. Both dishes were a touch under seasoned but nothing that a dash of salt couldn’t fix and my gnocchi were just a hair overcooked. That having been said, after adding a touch of salt, the rich and savory flavors were brought forward and I enjoyed every bite of my ample serving. My wife’s steak was perfectly cooked and nicely presented. Overall, I would recommend you give this place a try.

The wife and I went for a dinner date this evening and it was incredible. It is a bit pricey, but it is absolutely worth it. Everything on the menu sounds great and I genuinely had a difficult time picking my entrée. I would 100% recommend this place to everyone. It seems like it can definitely get busy, so make a reservation like we did.

We held a party for 40 last night. The food was fabulous and the staff was incredible. No one wanted for anything. Thank you Chef Ryan, Bar Manager Avery, and Kyle and Trey. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Was on a business trip and was looking for a great spot for me an 2 of my colleagues. The reviews looked great and so did the food so we went. Definitely made reservations as it was recommended to, good thing we did. Jade our server was very knowledgeable on the menu and gave us great recommendations. She was extremely polite, friendly and a lot of fun. Made our dining experience even better! We ordered the shrimp, the fried chicken and the pasta dish. Started with some empanadas and focaccia bread and ended with the espresso crème brûlée. Everything was great except for the chicken, it wasn't bad it just wasn't crispy enough for the one who ordered it and it tasted a bit too greasy, however all the sides were outstanding and I had the best Brussel sprouts I've ever had hands-down. Definitely will be back the next time. I'm in town great place. Oh, and your dining in an old jail the atmosphere is awesome.

First timer and didn’t know what to expect but everything was EXCELLENT! Indoor/Outdoor seating and bar area. Lemon drop martini was so good. Beef empanadas were flavorful and good portion size. Fried chicken was seasoned and fried to perfection. Orzo and salmon were amazing as well. We also had the apple cobbler for dessert. Everything had so much flavor and seasoning and had me trying to guess all the flavors. Very impressed with this place. Service was great as well as the environment. Really enjoyed the night here and will return to try other items!

Bar
Suffering Bastard is a hidden gem of a tiki bar located within Tuffy's Bottle Shop in Sanford. The intimate space exudes an authentic Hawaiian vibe, offering top-notch drinks and food with impeccable service. Reservations are highly recommended due to limited seating, but the experience is well worth it. The menu features strong cocktails like the Witch Doctor and Astronaut, complemented by Hawaiian-inspired sliders and fries.
The drinks and the service here are definitely top-notch. Be careful these drinks are decorative and taste delicious but they still pack a punch. It's hard to limit yourself just to a couple drinks every one of them are so delicious and so unique. I really enjoy the vibe even though it's a pretty small place when you sit down it feels like you have your own private little area. The service was great the place was busy we still got our drinks in a timely manner and enjoyed the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this for just about anything but a date night this place is amazing and guaranteed to impress.

My husband and I visited Suffering Bastard for the first time Saturday 3/29. Easily one of the top tiki bars I’ve visited. It’s very small with a great traditional tiki atmosphere, leaning into creepy, which I loved. We each had three drinks: Astronaut, Port Light, Jean Claude Pandan, Cat 5 Hurricane, a classic mojito…and one I’m forgetting the name of. They were all delicious and STRONG (they do give strength ratings on the menu so we knew what we were getting into). They were also beautiful, like pictures in a magazine. Perfect glassware choices and garnishes. Meticulously put together. The Astronaut was served with colored blinking light in it and a half-lime full of boba pearls (which I think were boozy too?). The hurricane had a busted umbrella pick. And the most stunning mojito I’ve ever had the honor of drinking. The service was fantastic - we didn’t have reservations but they fit us in and let us know when there were a couple bar stools free. The 3 bartenders/servers that night were impeccable. Extremely knowledgeable about the drinks and able to make recommendations. Very friendly and commendably tolerant of drunk patrons who like Ghostbusters (we’re sorry). I bought 3 different glasses which were also beautiful and reasonably priced - I had to buy all 3. Definitely a place worth visiting.

This place blew my mind! Great drinks, excellent service, and delicious food. Quaint, great decor that really transports you. Drinks were uniquely tiki! Nice selection, knowledgeable bartenders, and good food selection. Too bad they're not open earlier, but that's maybe a blessing 😉. It's inside Tuffy's Music Box.

We felt the drinks had lots of ice. I know drinks have ice but most places use the sonic ice the absorbs liquid and not solid kind. We also loved the honesty of the waitress when asked about a sauce that came with the furikake fries. Both were tasty. Overall we enjoyed the experience.

Another stop on my October tiki tour, finally made it to the infamous Suffering Bastard, way out in Sanford, FL. Hidden inside Tuffy's Music Box by a thin red line is a nondescript door leading to a hidden gem. The bar is through and through tiki, oozing with exotica and charm. The menu is chalked full of nice original cocktails and spins on the Don and Vic classics. Don't miss the astronaut, or Vic's bastard as namesake, and be sure to leave with a DD. The small bites were great, and even though it was small, the ambiance was everything. 5/5, make sure you hit this spot before it moves locations to Orlando.

This little place was amazing. I've been to bigger tiki bars with less charm. The drinks were amazing, the bar tenders friendly and the laid back atmosphere was nice. Plus, the cost of the drinks was great. Not over priced but certainly craft cocktails. We had two of the original drinks, and can't wait to try more. We will come back every time we are near here, no doubt

I'm usually a dive-bar kind of guy but I was motivated to find something a little nicer tonight. I stopped in solo and ordered a Mai Tai. The cocktail was magnificent! Multi-dimensional... The variety of flavors combined with the well-chosen garnishes delivered a fantastic ride. After a long week, being able to drop the phone and bask in the experience was exactly what I needed. Note: If you're in a hurry, this is not the place for you. It takes time to craft these cocktails. Slow your roll or you'll be frustrated. It's worth the wait, or they'll make it right. Really.

Amazing little hidden tiki bar, some of the best classic tiki drinks I have ever had Mitchell is a true craftsman behind the bar.

Jamaican restaurant
Negril Spice - Jamaican American Cuisine is a traditional Jamaican restaurant located in a convenient and bustling area near Sanford City Hall, the Seminole County Courthouse, the park, and the waterfront. The compact space offers sidewalk seating for customers to enjoy their meals. This low-key establishment provides great to-go Jamaican food with friendly staff who ensure that the packaging is neat.
I'm giving 5 stars here because it's exactly what you want from a Jamaican restaurant. The food was fresh and very flavorful. I tried the Mac n cheese, and it didn't disappoint. The jerk pork was very good. I do wish it was more meat than fat. It felt like the ratio was off but not enough to lower my rating. Will definitely be going back to try other menu items.

I’m on vacation and this is the only Caribbean: /Jamaican restaurant open on a Sunday. It smells pretty good in here and I can’t wait to try the food. I got the large jerk and large curry chicken meal with 2 tingz and left 20% tip for about 32$. If your passing through Sanford on the way to beach stop here.

I tried this back in 2004 in June and it was maybe 3 1/2 four try it October 3 around 1 o’clock rice hard cocktail all you can take is clove cabbage, too crunchy. The festivals wasn’t ready, but when I was leaving, she said they was ready. If you look at the pictures boy they grease. You had to pull all the outer parts off what two meals nothing greasy so

Saw this place while looking for parking. Decided to give a try and it was above my expectations. I order a lunch, a special of jerk chicken, the chicken with flavor and cooked to the point. I also had rice and beans with some oxtail vinaigrette. The vinaigrette gravy more flavor and then topped it up with some plantains. Good cheap lunch. I will be coming back to try more food.

I enjoy this restaurant. The food is good and the customer service is even better. However, I do feel like the portion size is very small considering the price and other restaurants of similar nature. I’m never certain what’s the difference between their small and larger portions. Please don’t skim on the rice. I should not have a plate of food and run out of rice. That’s the most cost effective side dish. Please work on this! Thanks.

I will 💯 return to get more of this food! The seasoning is perfect the portions are generous and the atmosphere is very friendly and comfortable. Don’t miss this downtown Sanford gem! I chose take out bc I was in a hurry but it’s very nice for eat in as well.

Came in to see what they had, and they did not disappoint !!! Got to try the oxtail, it was very tender but I need a little more kick, bonnet pepper maybe idk, but the jerk smell was taking over !! I ordered the large jerk chicken, split it with someone, still had food left over. The chicken was cooked to perfection not that nasty rubbery stuff from golden krust or Bahama breeze. This was real Jamaican rice and peas too !!! Sweet plantain was a little dry but that’s no big deal. And the cabbage was delicious!! Not everyone can pull this off and they did Thank you for making us feel better from HCA
