Shopping mall
Shopping
Indulge in a shopping extravaganza at Woodfield Mall, the largest shopping center in Illinois. With over 300 establishments and eateries spread across three vast floors, this expansive mall offers an array of brand-name stores, from high-street favorites like Zara and H&M to luxury retailers such as Coach and Michael Kors. After a day of retail therapy, unwind at the various dining options available, including health-conscious eateries and casual restaurants.
The last of a dyin’ breed of SUPER MALLS. If you have not been to this mall yet, please be advised that this is one of the PREMIER malls across all of America. I’m not exaggerating friends, Woodfield mall has such a lively clean and well crafted atmosphere from any entrance you walk in from and it is always filled with people and you will find even on weekdays many people strolling through this mall with a smile on their face. Need a major department store that’s not available in other malls? Woodfield mall got it. Seeking to find the most unique and amazing shops, kiosks, restaurants, quick bites, nail salons, massage parlors, and/or you want your eyebrows done? Woodfield mall has it all. This mall is so large that you will get lost in it but they have a QR code as soon as you enter that you can use to pull up a map - or you can do as I do and wander the mall and find niche shops that truly can’t be found anywhere else. Even the Kiosks in between the malls are amazing and diverse whether you need a watch battery replaced or the latest new gadget or gizmo, Woodfield Mall has it. Take your Kids, Take your Wife/Husband/Partner, take everyone or go solo but just go to this mall and experience the infinite possibilities within. I’ve been here so many times, over 100+, and I still- to this day stumble upon amazing shops I never even knew existed. This mall is extremely well maintained and the atmosphere will enliven the soul - it does for me. It even has a newer spot for you E-Sport players out here, come on now y’all, this is THE BEST MALL in AMERICA (in my opinion). Check it out, you won’t be disappointed!

Fun, adventurous, for all ages, interesting layout with a lot half levels. great selections of restaurants, food court, free and surcharge playgrounds. Plenty activities for little ones. Department store, Macy’s, Uniqlo, Carter’s, Michael Kors, eyewear shops, and some many other stores to shop.
Ellen H — Google review
Great mall, huge variety of stores. Something for everyone. Food court has a good selection of food options. There is also a lounge area near the restrooms. The restrooms were very clean and well stocked with soap and paper towels. Parking is definitely challenging but if you don't mind walking a bit you should be fine. Happy shopping!!

My 1st time visiting the Woodfield Mall was when I was around 3 so I was quite interested in coming back here when visiting Chicago. Overall, a nice mall for me in which I could eat and shop with a moderate amount of people around. On the 1st floor basically in the center of the mall is a kid playground area as well (which I did go to when I was 3). They’ve got a small food court on the 2nd floor all the way to the right kind of tucked in near other restaurants/small shops. Whole mall is mixed with beauty stores, clothing stores, food stores, gift stores, makeup stores, and more. It isn’t the greatest mall I’ve ever been to but I will say you sure can spend/waste a good chunk of hours exploring new things or just things of interest.

They're updating as the years go by. The elevators are great. Always been one of my favorite malls. Clean, big variety of top stores, great customer service.

This mall is huge huge. I literally run in tonSephora, Lush, Anthropologie, Nordstrom then I’m OUT! I love it there. I always feel safe. And I also love all the new stores that come here as opposed to the city.

This is one of my favorite malls to go to and I live in chicago. The driver's worth it, especially during Christmas time you'll find a lot of sales. I love that there's a lot of eateries in the area as well and Ikea is just three blocks away

LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago is an indoor LEGO-themed center designed for children aged 3 to 10. The exhibits and attractions are kid-sized, making it a perfect destination for family outings. Visitors can enjoy interactive rides like Kingdom Quest Laser and Merlins Apprentice, explore the LEGO factory, watch movies in the 4D cinema, and shop at the LEGO store. The highlight is Miniland, a detailed model of Chicago made from 1 million bricks.
Perfect Family Fun! LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago is an absolute blast for kids and families! From the moment we walked in, the excitement was nonstop. The interactive rides, creative building zones, and 4D movies kept the kids entertained for hours. The mini LEGO city display is amazing—so detailed and fun to explore! Everything was clean, well-organized, and staff were super friendly and helpful. Great way to spend the day with little ones. Highly recommend for a fun, creative, and memorable family outing! !

Worth the money for the experience. I’d recommend it for kids between the ages of 6-10. Self-guided experience. VR experience is $6 plus tax. The place was clean and spacious. They have a Starbucks on-site.

My Son’s and mine experience was Awesome. From the time we walked in until the time we left everyone was so Friendly. I was going to buy the tickets online but I wasn’t sure what came with what ticket so I waited until I arrived and the gentleman helped me. I think I enjoyed it more than my son. It was well above my expectations. I would highly recommend going.
Tiffany R — Google review
The place is very underwhelming for the price even with a Groupon. Its not much to do took my 5 yr old she was not impressed but made the most of it. The 2nd floor is where the kids play but very limited. Climbing gym is good for 2 and 3 yr old, actually the whole place is better for that age group. Ages 4 and up I just feel its nothing to keep them entertained for any amount of time. Will not be returning, got the combo pack for Peppa Pig world but highly doubt I'll go there looks like more of the same a waste of $90 to me.
O D — Google review
Had a pretty good time there. Management seemed a bit......cold. There was little to no urgency by the staff to get more cleaning wipes for the VR ride. We waited an additional 15 minutes for someone to bring cleaning wipes. It was fun though and my son had a really good time.

I had loads of fun 🤩. It was an exciting experience for the kids and even the adults. I particularly enjoyed the short film 🎥 show at the theatre 🎭. The lego setup was absolutely brilliant! We bought our ticket 🎟️ online and the queue at the place was not bad but it was a week day (Friday) The staff were good 👍🏻.

Not Worth the Money, Even at a Discount I was really disappointed with our visit to Legoland Schaumburg. Even with a 40% discount per ticket, it felt like a waste of money. Adult and kid tickets are priced the same, and each adult must be with a child to enter — which makes sense, but still adds up quickly. For the price, I expected a lot more. Most of the attraction is just pre-built Lego displays to look at, with very limited hands-on building opportunities. There are a few things for kids to do — a small indoor play area, a short VR experience, a little theater, and a mini kiddie rollercoaster — but overall, it’s minimal for the cost. I can’t imagine how crowded it must be on weekends, even with the timed entry system. We went during a less busy time and still didn’t feel like it was worth it. Bottom line: I definitely wouldn’t pay full price for this place. I spent $70 plus for two adults and two kids (5 year olds) I wish I would've bought them a nice Lego set and it would've been better for them! After an hour ish, the kids wanted to leave.

My six year old grandson is a Lego maniac, just like his Dad. Although Legoland Discovery didn't show up on the list of places to visit in Chicago, we are so happy not to have missed it. Eddie loved almost everything. He has issues with loud noises so at first he was unhappy with cannon noise in the pirate climbing area. After he settled in, however, he easily tolerated all the noisy rides and movies. The best 4d film was about cops and robbers. It was hilarious and the use of lights, mist, and wind really added to the film. The 3d glasses fit over Eddie's glasses. We did everything at least twice during the 4 hours we were there. It was busy but there were no long lines. I really appreciated the clear and visible price tags in the store. Eddie could easily read them to make choices within his budget. Don't miss this if you have a Lego lover in your family

GameWorks Chicago – Schaumburg is a lively entertainment hub and sports bar that offers an array of electronic games, large-screen TVs, and delicious comfort food. The venue hosts special events like Double Ticket Tuesday and provides a fun atmosphere for both kids and adults. With attentive staff members like Julia at the front desk and accommodating bartenders, visitors can enjoy their time without any hassle. The establishment also caters to birthday parties and smaller events with designated rooms upstairs.
Love this place!! Julia (pretty sure that's her name) she works at the front desk and is so helpful. I ask her too many questions and she always cheerful and willing to help me or the kids! The bartenders are great and extremely accommodating to those with anxiety. Everyone I came with enjoyed themselves and want to go back over and over!! Thank you for the fun time :) We'll all be back for sure and I'll definitely spread the good word.

I really only had been once or twice here before without kids in the past. We had in the past here attended a birthday party before, they also offer a very birthday deal in general here, they also do for smaller sized events as well rooms are upstairs and game areas are mixed so it’s not a place to let your child run free. There are adults and alcoholic beverages being served. That’s how I kept my sanity. To be fair my son thinks it’s the best place ever; some neat “ride like” games and fun team playing options too, if not a pandemic I’d say go. Kids in daylight hours and adults only after 2 pm. Great stay and play deals for food too. Can’t wait, they really should offer a small rental option for small house hold / family groups.
Stephanie M — Google review
Good arcade for older kids and adults. Most of the equipment is in good condition but if you go at a busy time, intermittent network problems interfere with swiping your card to play games. This isn't a great place for younger kids that want to play redemption games. They're overpriced and the ticket payout is very low. Plus, most redemption games are geared towards school-age kids, none for younger kids 3-4 years old. The XD game experience on the first floor is really fun for older kids and adults. Most of the first floor is redemption gaming and the second floor is traditional arcade games: shooters, fighting games, driving games, music games.
Lee T — Google review
Terrible upkeep of games. For the prices they charge to play, I would expect newer and higher quality games. I attempted to play time crisis, a traditional arcade shooter, and it would not recognize the shots fired due to the poor upkeep of the gun controller. Wont be visiting again. Supplemental update: the controller for guitar hero is also broken. Definitely terrible maintenance here. Do yourself a favor and never come here.

Gameworks for Birthday Parties need some work !! I was looking for a fun place for my 6 yr old's Birthday party. I googled and Gameworks caught my attention. We visited the place, spoke with the sales person and finalized it. Here is a summary of things I felt worked well and did not work well. What worked well. 1. The Sales process was really good. Rachel was very warm and friendly. Had great ideas and supported us throughout the journey. 2. We had to postpone the event 1 day prior due to worsening weather in Chicago, Rachel helped us. It was really appreciable 3. The gaming area. Kids and parents just loved it. Gaming cards for 1 hour in timed games and 20 credits games, which was very good. 4. The server provided during the event was very helpful. Most guests turned up late, server kept calm and helped us through. Boxes provided for leftovers What did not work well. 1. No event coordinator. We entered and we were practically on our own instructing the server provided. We have been to multiple parties at different places e.g. Chuck-e-Cheese or Pump it up. A event coordinator helps take the pressure off you. No such thing here. 2. The cake was a disaster. We were expecting around 50 kids (20 kids + 30 adults), we had communicated this. The plain chocolate cake was so tiny that it was literally embarrassing. The server did his best to cut it into small pieces but literally had to scrape it out to serve to guests 3. The layout, we were promised a room and the place outside to accommodate the guests. When we saw gameworks initially, the place outside looked good, was well lit with many tables and chairs. During the party, the place outside was dark the tables chairs taken away. 4. Pizzas were burnt. The dinner was literally cake and pizza and both were not what we expected. 5. Few nagging things. The sales teams need to better synced up. The kid is supposed to get a gift, no one knew about it, such things can be avoided with an event coordinator. Overall since the games were held after dinner, guests left happy. If the dinner was held later, I am not sure what my rating would have been. It is definitely a great place and the sales cycle is good. The final execution requires a lot of work so that memorable parties are held here.

Movie theater
Located in the heart of Schaumburg, the Woodfield Mall is a massive shopping destination with over 300 stores and numerous dining options. It offers a wide range of retail experiences, from high-end brands to popular chain stores. Adjacent to this bustling mall is AMC Streets of Woodfield, a movie theater often referred to as AMC or AMC Multi-Cinemas. This theater provides a relaxing environment for visitors to catch a movie after shopping or dining at the mall.
Awesome location! The projector went out on the movie 🎥 we were about to see so the security guard gave us free vouchers and still let us see any movie that was currently playing!! Top notch place and so well run by the staff!!
Steven M — Google review
Went tonight with a small group to watch an IMAX movie. The experience at the ticket booth and concession stand was as expected. We made our way to our theater, upstairs, with no troubles. The movie, screen, audio were all top notch. That was the 'good'. To put things in perspective, I have been a long time member with AMC and normally use a different location that has big, comfy electric recliners. However, we decided to change it up tonight. Their proclaimed description of the theater was, plush rocker chairs. However, we were met with something very different than what we expected. The pictures, attached show fairly typical spring loaded fold down chairs. Yes, they had cushions, so I guess 'plush' is loosely correct, but when you pay for the most expensive option, one would easily think that they would have much better seats. There was very little leg room and it was super hard to allow space for people to walk by. The seats were in pretty rough shape, stained and dirty and had very uncomfortable hard plastic arm rests.
Dennis ( — Google review
This place is a complete dump and in need of a serious renovation and the prices are absolutely outrageous for the quality of service. At the very least, they need to clean it. There was butter all over the place and zero ice in all of the soda machines. The IMAX experience pales in comparison to that of newer competitors and if you have to use the restroom, be ready to miss a good chunk of the movie because you have to walk to the other side of the building to reach the one bathroom in the entire theater.

AMC Streets of Woodfield 20 is a solid cinema with modern theaters and comfortable seating. The sound and picture quality are good, making movie watching an enjoyable experience. The staff is friendly and helpful, although it can get crowded, especially on weekends. Ticket prices are standard, and the waiting area and concessions are clean. Overall, a pleasant place to spend an evening watching movies. Rating: 4/5.
Tod — Google review
Better to stay home. Buying tickets on the kiosk takes a lot of clicks and time and no live option is available. The theater was rather cold in the low 70s for wearing shorts and a T-shirt in the summer. The previews lasted a full 25 to 30 minutes, too long! The seats were also crowded with the foot rest going straight to the glass Partition - no good for somebody taller than 6 feet. Overall, it was not comfortable or enjoyable and I would rather stay home.
Anders — Google review
The folks that works here are so good at helping us to check in, use our coupons to redeem our tickets, friendly and efficient. The sound system and seats are super comfortable, hard to go back to old school stadium style seats. My bud wants these soft seats. However the lobbies and interior could use a makeover 🤗
Jesse L — Google review
Great theater would come here again. Good sized screen for standard/laser showings but wish it was brighter like the laser advertising said it would. Fairly clean too but outdated tiling and walls for the restrooms. I also Appreciate that access to every auditorium is easy and that the seats are comfortable and capable of recline if you are into that. wish there were more seating areas outside of the auditoriums if im waiting to enter the one my movie is playing in so i'm not standing around awkwardly or for people with mobility issues.

Great time!! Got VIP tickets to see Nate Jackson evening show. We had a blast and I can’t wait to come back! Food was pricey but delicious as were the drinks. For further planning I felt there was little to no information on seating and arrival time. Though I went for the evening show the ticket said doors open around 5:30. I showed up just before 7 as everything said seats were first come first serve even for VIP. I wasn’t allowed in until 8. Which then we could wait and then even then you wait in a room where you’re told when it’s time to be seating they’ll just yell out for VIP. No line is made for VIP until then. Once the man yelled it out you better get moving and follow him as that’s how they sit. They then recheck you and your party in by the way tickets were purchased (I bought 2 so they already had it down for party of 2 for our table). They sat us in order right at the front and that was that. Then we had a funny evening! Just wish I didn’t get there so early and that arrival time was better communicated. I even called earlier and was told doors open at 5:30. And side note if you’re waiting to eat during the show you can’t get food until you’re seated at the table, the hour and a half almost two waiting I was starving thinking I had given myself time to get seated and eat before the show but nope lol.

I visited with my brother and sister in law. We went to see DL Hughley. We went early for the food experience as well as the comedy show. The Shrimp Tempura was ok, the dipping sauces were unnecessary. The boneless wings were a little over cooked and the blue cheese …just was NOT! The deep fried chicken sandwich was huge on a brioche bun it was ok. The drinks left a lot to be desired. Going early will get you up front or close to the stage. DL bought the comedy and I was satisfied. Judging by the number of people inside at 7pm show and the ones lined up for the next show. $80.-$130. Was a good price. The attire was casual which was a nice idea since people were waiting in the rain. This was not my first time nor will it be my last. Leaving a jam packed lot was atrocious. Next time I’ll utilize n uber.

My daughter treated to see Godfrey the comedian. I had a blast!🎊I love him!❤️ My only problem was the mall.😐 It's been a while since I've been to Schaumburg but the mall was empty. They only have stores on one side of the mall. If the Improv leave, there's no attraction. So much wasted land. I hope they have plans to develop that area into housing or something.
Mary R — Google review
Let me remind you that I go to The Improv for the comedy shows and not the food. Now with that being said, the food is not bad, it's cool for what it is. They have a two item order rule, so I'll pick whatever I have a taste for at that time plus a drink. I haven't had any issues with any food that I've ordered thus far. I will say that they changed their souvenir glasses and I ended up leaving mine a couple of visits back, but no big deal. Now the service, the service has always been great. I've never had the same server when I'm there, which means that they hire great serving staff. Every server that I've ever had has served with a smile and is very polite and prompt. I think the only thing I would change is that, outside of the drinks, they would wait until my entire order is ready before bringing out my food vs bringing me item by item. That's just a preference and not a complaint, especially since I also realize and understand that some people may prefer it that way. While this location has the capacity to hold quite a few people, it is still small enough as to where it still gives a comfy-cozy setting. I love that they always give me a preference as to where I want to sit. Now, I don't know if they do this for everyone or if it's because I'm by myself when I go, they give me the option. Either way, I love, love, love that.

This was the perfect "girls night" out! Celebrated 2 of the ladies birthday @ the Arnez J show. I DEFINITELY would go back. The atmosphere was wonderful, and not a bad seat in the house. The food was "ok", but the cocktails were great. I'm looking forward to my next event at Chicago Improv👍🏾❤️!

Nice spot. I've gone to 2 shows here. It's a smaller venue. You have to be outside of the mall to enter the building. Food and drink prices are high. $18 for a mixed drink. $18 for a burger with fries. But the drinks are pretty strong. Ticket prices were not to bad for the shows I saw $33 a person

Garrett Popcorn Shops is a store in Woodfield Mall that sells tins and party packs of both sweet and savory gourmet popcorn. They offer a variety of flavors, including seasonal options. This location can be found on the main concourse outside Macys, close to the childrens play area and elevator. The classic mix is highly recommended, but they also have flavors with pecans and a spicy blend available. Their popcorn features extra large kernels with minimal husks and no unpopped ones.
Garrett Popcorn is the best popcorn! This was our first time at this location. It was packed with customers waiting to place orders. The customer service was good. We ordered a large butter popcorn, a large cheddar cheese popcorn, and a large caramel popcorn. I also got a free sample of spicy popcorn. It was all very delicious and fresh. I highly recommend this popcorn. I highly recommend this location.

Great popcorn as always! The employee was so rude. I came with two of my friends and they ordered ahead of me. As we were first charged we waited for our popcorn. As the first bag came out the employee placed it on the counter and didn’t say a word, one by one she placed the next two and just stared at us. So I went up and just grabbed the popcorn and checked to see which corresponded to each of us. That’s when she decided to finally start barking which bag was which and I chose to ignore her. She then proceeded to gossip about it to her coworker. Will definitely reconsider coming back.

Overpriced but you're paying for the brand name. We got the Chicago mix, the cheese ones were stale and the caramel ones were fine but a bit too sweet. Honestly I'd rather buy Cretors which tastes fresher even though it's not sold in its own stores.

Don’t bother going to this location “Bad” Customer Service and “I could care less”attitude .They were out of popcorn! Don’t waste your time! Who wants to drive 30 minutes or more to get popcorn and then find out they’re out! Further more, they don’t want to make more! When I drove to the Schaumburg location, it was close to 7:15-20 pm, and they close at 8 PM. Customer service rep indicated they could not make anymore cheese popcorn to make 2 “Garrett special” orders, or fill any other remaining customers’ order requiring cheese. They only had enough to make a small bag and one canister. I downsized my orders to take what was left because it is Garrett’s after all, made fresh and usually still good for a couple of days. ”When I got home, tried the popcorn in the bag, it was stale. I paid over $50 dollars for hard, old stale popcorn! I was bringing it as a gift. I cannot take it back because I’m getting on a plane. This is Ridiculous! Why can’t they make it and fill canisters for the next day? Or give a coupon on next order if you’re running out? Offer something! This cheese popcorn must’ve been at least three days old. This is a travesty. I want a refund! I am out of gas, my time and money. 😠

I recently visited Garrett Popcorn in Schaumburg, and it was a delightful experience. The moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly popped popcorn filled the air, creating an irresistible temptation. Their popcorn selection is impressive, offering a variety of flavors to suit every palate. I opted for the classic Garrett Mix, which is a delightful blend of sweet caramel and savory cheddar cheese popcorn. The combination was absolutely mouthwatering, with the perfect balance of flavors and textures. The staff at Garrett Popcorn were friendly and efficient, ensuring a pleasant and quick service experience. The popcorn was served warm, maintaining its freshness and enhancing the overall taste. The store itself was clean and inviting, making it a great place to stop by for a snack while shopping in the area or for a special treat. Pricing is reasonable for the quality and quantity of popcorn you receive. Garrett Popcorn in Schaumburg is a must-visit for popcorn enthusiasts and anyone looking for a tasty treat. The Garrett Mix is a definite highlight, and the friendly staff and inviting atmosphere make it a top choice for popcorn lovers.

I visit the location in Woodfield mall because it's closest to my home. I go there 2-3 times a month. My last visit I was not happy when I got home and found hair in my cheese and Carmel pecan mix. I couldn't enjoy it like I usually do. Please have your staff wear hair nets. I would hate to visiting your kiosk.

So glad we have a Garrett’s Popcorn at Woodfield Mall now! It’s on the main concourse outside Macy’s just past the childrens play area and on the other side of the elevator. Classic mix is always the best but they have other flavors with pecans and a spicy mix now. The kernels are extra large, minimal husks and no unpopped kernels! Great place to get popcorn for the movies too. This beats driving all the way downtown Chicago and circling the block while others go in and get it! No doubt the best popcorn in the USA!!

Nice sized McDonalds with clean and newish feel. Expect to pay more then a non mall McD. Little play place for kids plus room just for kids to eat and watch a cartoon on a 55 in TV. Also game kiosk under the TV. (One of six TVs that I counted.) This is there party room but they keep it open when there is no birthday party.

My ids loves here for play place but price is unreal. Not as much as an airport price but close to it.
Hawon J — Google review
Way over priced highest prices I've ever seen at McDonald's in my life. Food tasted good though and they have a nice play place for kids still when most McDonald's don't anymore. Was clean and service was good just too over priced in my opinion over double what most locations are charging for most items. Will not be returning here.
Jessica D — Google review
The place looks nice but that's the gimmick... Two mcmuffins PLAIN anywhere else would have been 2$. NOT HERE. its 7$.... the large drinks? 2.50$... I could've taken my 10$ to the very close by blaze's pizza... the customer service is sub par at BEST. been here 3 times now thinking it would be better but it has not. Do your wallet a service and take your money elsewhere. I will not be coming back here.

First time here. Place was full and messy, chairs all over and tables not clean. When we order a quarter pounder meal (medium size), grilled chicken meal (medium size) and four piece nuggets happy meal and they told us how much it was my jaw dropped to the floor and asked the cashier to check my order, because the price didn’t seem right. She said, our prices are different here. Very, very disappointed and 😡angry

This is the most expensive McDonald's I have ever been to. A drink was $2.30 and a hamburger. Just a simple one meat patty and bun burger, was ~$2. Don't eat here unless you're really hungry and can't wait. The service was fairly quick. There were about to 3 people in front of me but my meal was really simple (fries, 1 basic burger, 1 drink) so I expected it a little faster. I travel a lot, and so I stop at various McDonald's a lot since I can eat and drive. If you don't order a meal and just off the value menu it's really cheap for fast food. This one does not hold up to the other ones I've been to.

Terrible place! We tried ordering a happy meal at 10:35 a.m. but were told by two employees there that lunch doesn't start until 11:00 a.m. at this location. Therefore, we had to order breakfast. Five minutes later, I saw a Caucasian guy ordering amd getting a happy meal before 11:00 a.m.! I spoke to another employee about this issue and she said that those two employees were from another location and didn't know better. Also, at 10:30 a.m., they changed their menu to lunch so how is it that these two employees did not notice the change or bothered asking!!

Steak house
Texas de Brazil in Schaumburg, Illinois is an upscale Brazilian eatery known for its all-you-can-eat grilled meat carved tableside and a salad bar. The ambiance and food are slightly upscale, with excellent service. While the salad bar has changed due to COVID-19, it still offers high-quality options. The delicious meat is complemented by bread, plantains, and mashed potatoes brought to your table by servers.
Really great spot for brunch, lunch, or dinner. You will leave absolutely stuffed! The service here is really good, and the ambiance is nice. They have a fantastic salad and sides bar with very fresh items to choose from. The bar is good as well. This is attached to Woodfield Mall, but you would not really know it. It operated as a high-scale dining experience. This is fun option for dining 🍽.

The food was excellent. Service was even better. Price is quite fair, in my opinion, for what you're getting. Good variety of protein options and sides. Salad bar was very good with great variety as well. Something for everybody. First time trip for me. After my first, I can say I'll definitely go back.

Great place! We booked a table for two on Monday in advance — I’m not sure if there would have been seats available if we had just walked in. The first thing we did was go to the buffet, which offered a variety of vegetables, rice, soup, mushrooms, and legumes. I highly recommend the lobster soup — I was amazed by how good it was; it’s slightly spicy. They served different types of meat, cooked to your preference — chicken, beef, shrimp, sausages — everything was fresh and hot. It’s hard to stick to a diet here because you want to try everything. Special thanks to the managers who came by to check if everything was good and made sure we felt comfortable. Even if they think it’s a small detail, guests always notice and appreciate that kind of care from the staff. There’s also a bar section, where a cute couple was sitting, and the selection of drinks is great too. The restroom was clean and stylish. Overall, I would definitely come back again. One small note for those visiting during warmer seasons: it can feel a bit chilly inside, so it’s better to bring a light jacket or sweater.

The salad bar has a delicious variety of favorites including my goat cheese, marinated veggies and sides. The meats are well cooked and tender. Atmosphere is pleasant. We come here every so often. Suitable for regular dining or special occasions.

I went there Friday night for the first time and is very impressed with everything. I reserved a table online. When I arrived, I was seated at my table immediately. The atmosphere is beautiful. Servers were amazing and very quick. Overall I arrived and didn't have to wait to eat. Food kept on coming and everything was so delicious I was so impressed with how juicy, tender, and flavorful their steak was. Their mash potatoes are the best I've ever had in any restaurant and their plantain is out of this world good. I would definitely be coming back.

Great Food Choices, both in Salad Bar and Meats. Atmosphere is great. Overall service is Fast and professional, shout out to Bernardo for excellent service. The only one comment I would like to mention is ,they no longer give Complimentary Desert for B,Day Celebration. We had 2 celebrants...

Had a dinner here at Texas de Brazil in Schaumburg and it was a great experience. We were brought quickly to our table - no wait which is a rare occurrence in steakhouses. The salad bar was a great start, and the meat was even better. The waiter and manager even stopped by and asked if we wanted any specific meat brought by, and they were very attentive which I appreciate. Nice seating area as well. Highly recommend Texas de Brazil!

Chinese restaurant
Big Bowl Schaumburg is an Asian restaurant that offers a relaxed and stylish space to enjoy Chinese and Thai dishes, along with cocktails and craft beers. The menu features popular items such as kung pao chicken, spicy Sichuan beef, ginger sea scallops and shrimp, Thai hot pepper, and pad thai. The restaurant prides itself on using the freshest ingredients to create bursts of flavor in each dish.
My sister and I used to open Big Bowl restaurants 25 years ago when they had spots in Texas, so any time I visit Chicago it is a must-go! While the prices have almost doubled since then, the food quality and great service remain the same 👌 it is certainly too cost-prohibitive to visit often, but once or twice a year it is always a treat. Our decades-old tried and true recommendations are as follows: Appetizer: Calamari (flash-fried, light, crispy and flavorful) Chicken potstickers Lettuce wraps (and yes, they will bring you extra lettuce so don't worry about skimping!) Main course: Beef & broccoli (the mushrooms are AMAZING) Orange chicken (light and crispy) Stir fry bar (if you like to handpick your veg) Drinks: Hibiscus iced tea Hibiscus lemonade Mai tai

We had previously visited the Chicago Downtown and Arlington Heights locations and expected similar food taste. However, the stir-fry and Pad Thai lacked flavor and weren’t as spicy as highlighted on the menu. The portion sizes were good — we had leftovers. Service was quick, but the food wasn’t great. However, the blueberry cheesecake was delicious and was the best part of our lunch.

First time here. Came during the week and it wasn't busy. We were sat at our table immediately. Good menu options, our server was attentive. I had the bowl and substituted for cauliflower rice. Glad they have healthy options. The portion sizes are huge and filling. The egg rolls were delicious. Had the calamari, it was good a bit greasy but still good. My food came out quickly and it was really good. My water never got low as the server kept it full. Overall good experience and I do recommend.

It’s been several years since my last visit to Big Bowl the previous one being back in 2019. I decided to stop by this afternoon for lunch after getting out of school, and I’m pleased to say the experience was excellent. Compliments to the chefs in the kitchen the Firecracker Chicken was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. I’ll definitely be returning soon. Many thanks as well to my server for the outstanding service truly deserving of five stars. “Exceptional service deserves dessert.”

Our waiter was amazing, very attentive and polite. I found this to be a quality upgrade from your standard Chinese food. The orange chicken was breaded, but not overly breaded or greasy. The beef was tender with a great flavor! I found the fried rice to have a bit of a sweetness to it, but I enjoyed it. The Chinese noodles were cooked well and complimented the beef perfectly.

First time here. Great service. Food was good. The pad se ewe had thick noodles and the chicken could have been just cooked a little bit more for my liking. Pot stickers were delicious. I would skip the pad se ewe and get the pad thai instead. Satisfied overall and will visit again.
