Located in Bandon, Tony's Crab Shack is a vibrant blue shack that not only sells fishing gear but also offers a delectable selection of fresh seafood. The menu features items like seafood cocktails, salads, pastas, fish and chips, chowder, fish tacos, calamari and burgers. Visitors can savor succulent Dungeness crab and creamy clam chowder while taking in breathtaking ocean views.
This place offers amazing, high-quality seafood! We were incredibly full after a delicious meal including a whole crab, a dozen broiled oysters, a crab sandwich, and a shrimp salad. The owner's passion for crabs truly shines through, even introducing us to his 7-year-old crab. A must-visit for seafood lovers!
Mirko M — Google review
Tony’s crab shack is a seafood lovers dream! I ended up with the crab cakes, lobster roll and some clam chowder and garlic Ciabatta bread. I’ll start of by saying the clam chowder was my favorite portion of the meal. Probably my favorite clam chowder I’ve had on the Oregon coast! In second; the Crab cakes. The texture was perfect (they don’t deep fry), and they were massive, one would have been enough for sure! My least favorite was the lobster roll, it was good, the flavor was good, but they texture was way too chewy. I understand they’re “Maine” lobsters but it’s still possible to not overcook. $69 for two meals and 3 drinks. Don’t let the long line fool you! They are super quick! I waited in line longer than I waited for my food. You be the judge!!
Tj P — Google review
We ordered seafood combo with 1/2 crab, 1/2 lb steamer clams and 4 pawn, cost $53 and didn’t get the satisfaction we expected. Crab was fresh though small; clams were soaked in butter with very little meat, pawns were small, too. The only thing great about was the freshness. We were not too impressed by the price/value of the meal. Staff were friendly, kind of self service, seating was limited and the line was long between 12 - 1.
Robin W — Google review
Stopped here for a seafood dinner snd was not disappointed. I got their seasonal smoked salmon sandwich which had cranberry, greens and cream cheese on ciabatta and it was fantastic. They do NOT skimp on portions of fish. I also got 5 raw oysters and they were some of the best I've had in a long time. Large, fresh, and absolutely delicious. I was late that evening about 45 minutes to close so was bummed they were out of chowder but that just means I have to go back. :) Service was speedy and everyone was very kind. I definitely recommend for some fresh seafood in a casual setting. Know that there is limited indoor seating but plenty of outdoor seating.
Breanna B — Google review
Oh. My. Gosh. INCREDIBLE food and experience!!! This place is a charming little stop right on the boardwalk, with a little bit of indoor seating and plenty of outdoor seats. We split the Famous Crab Sandwich and a cup of chowder, and we were incredibly impressed. Delicious fresh crab with good portion size, piping hot chowder, and yummy garlic bread on the side. The meal was perfect, the staff were friendly and sweet, the seats were clean, and the location is very romantic for a stroll after lunch. Prices are definitely steep, but we got the cheapest crab on the menu and it fed my husband and I both. Whether you want a spendy yummy crab or a more budget-friendly option, this place is perfect!
Kassidy G — Google review
Overall, I had a great meal. Ordered inside and sat down outside. The staff was very friendly. Food came hot and delicious. Seemed a little pricey, but again, food was fresh, well prepared, and delicious. Would definitely come back.
Chris H — Google review
Small but charming place. There are a few small tables inside and many more outside (dog friendly). You go inside to order at a counter and they bring your food to you. We arrived on a Thursday at 5 pm and they were out of the hot crab and shrimp sandwich which I so wanted to try. So, I opted for the famous crab sandwich instead and was not disappointed. Tons of loose crab meat, Swiss cheese, lettuce on a grilled sourdough. I upgraded to a cup of clam chowder. It was just okay. A bit on the thin side. I chatted with a few other customers who loved everything they had, lobster roll, crab cakes, etc. I am only in Brandon 2 days and just might go back!
B M — Google review
Food was absolutely delicious but was a small fortune!! Paid $30 for a shrimp crab sandwich with cup of chowder. For a sandwich lunch meal outside at a picnic table - we paid nice dinner date prices! Love the location however, right on the ocean - the view was beautiful!

Edgewaters is a casual, two-floor restaurant located at the edge of Old Town Bandon, offering stunning water views. This family-owned establishment serves a delectable array of dishes including steak, seafood, and pasta mains alongside an assortment of cocktails. The owners, Bob Grizzle and his sister Sheila Langenberg along with her husband Larry, are dedicated to providing excellent meals in a welcoming atmosphere. It's a great place to enjoy a satisfying meal while taking in picturesque waterfront vistas.
Exquisite culinary experience. The wife and I came here for New Years and was not disappointed. Place was clean atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food was exquisite, we had bruschetta a chicken bowtie pasta and I had steak Oscar. My wife's salad was a Caesar and it was fantastic I had the clam chowder which was also exquisite. Bathrooms are very clean I will definitely plan on coming back here again I recommend you try this place out.
Todd R — Google review
Located at the edge of town, Edgewaters overlooks the harbor and is a nice spot to enjoy the views. Our experience there wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t great. To her credit, our server was efficient but she was also impatient which made the dining experience feel rushed. The atmosphere is very casual and family friendly. The food was alright, and out of alignment with the prices. The fresh fish was over cooked, however the macadamia topping was lovely. The steak was very good, and prepared as requested. Skip the apple pie and ice cream dessert. It was bland. Pro tip: call ahead to make a reservation, or you won’t have dinner that evening.
J G — Google review
This is a must stop in Bandon. I think its one of the best meals I've had in quite a while and the food options were all very unique. We had the seafood romesco, rockfish and chowder. All three were incredible! All three were perfect top notch flavor combinations. Service was also really excellent. Definitely recommend this place and also reservations because it's always busy.

Absolutely amazing view of the ocean and river to celebrate our 17 year anniversary! Our server was friendly, hospitable, kind, knowledgeable, courteous, inviting just as the atmosphere. We even had a sweet lady compliment us as we were leaving! Definitely recommend this little gem for a date day or night indeed. The lobster tail was prime, and the steak was out of sight! We are thankful, and blessed to have had this experience together. Thank you Lord for my beautiful bride, and Edgewater restaurant for an amazing day! Compliments to the chef and staff!

I really liked both of our dinners here. The staff is very nice and friendly, the view is great and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the crab cakes and my favorite the Greek Scampi. My hubby loved the Halibut special and the Rockfish. The accompanying chowder and/or salad was nice too. We never made it to dessert as the portions are big.
Nic K — Google review
Fantastic! The food and service were great and Melanie was a delight. Although we showed up and it was reservations only for the night, there was an opening at 8 for 2. We had the calamari, pacific rockfish, and sunset pasta accompanied by a beautiful sunset as well. Everything was delicious A must visit if your in the area.
K Y — Google review
Great atmosphere whether you're eating with friends or on a date. Lots of parking in the lower lot or right in front of restaurant. There is not a bad table, the water is viewable from any take upstairs or downstairs. There is a deck available and it's under a cover. The food is the star here though. The wait staff is very good here, always making sure your drinks are filled and you have everything you need. I ordered fish and chips, this has to be one of the best fish and chips I've eaten. I've been to the motherland of fish and chips and theirs is right on par. The use Pacific Rockfish. It does not fall apart when you cut into it, it is a fish that holds together. The taste is wonderful and even in your mouth you can tell the difference between this fish and did it halibut. Salad is very good with fresh ingredients and the ranch seems to be house made. The smoked salmon fettuccine was also very good. The portions are overly sufficient. The view...🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Joshua P — Google review
Returned and still sumptuous dishes. The warm goat cheese appetizer with garlic and sweet- tart chutney was an excellent pairing for the halibut. Suburb Greek scampi. Calamari well executed. The swordfish excelled expectations. Excellent view, food, location, and wait- staff. All one needs is a reservation. I often eat at Edge Waters when in Bandon. The house made blue-cheese dressing is extraordinary. The Romesco dish is warm and savory. Finally, Coastal Mist provides the dessert menu to explore if you find room left for a sweet adventure!

Friendly store with well-stocked shelves and a cozy local feel. They have a modern look to the store. Large banners clearly section off the produce, fresh bake and deli sections. Farmers market feel to the produce area. You can get all sorts of beers here and tobacco products. We came in to pick up some facial wet-wipes and toe nail clippers.

My mom used to bring me to the store when she first moved here to bandon in the '80s. All of the staff is always been very pleasant helpful and knowledgeable about what they have or don't have. Everybody is courteous and super willing to help us find what we need. Shopping is tedious for some people but they(McKay's employees) make it really easy for us to find and navigate through their store. Thank you McKay's and your support teams , for all that you do!
Tam S — Google review
This market has everything you need. Full size market with a deli. For a small town this is about the only option for a store like this. It could be a little cleaner, outside especially. Plenty of people work here. Produce was good, just more expensive than what we’re used too, but I get it, remote cities have to charge more due to the travel distance.
Stephen S — Google review
This store is great. They always have the sandwiches made when you order and seems like they always have the right stuff in stock. The only thing that would help is the speed at checkout and the deli.
Wes J — Google review
This morning I had to deal with a very rude employee. He works in the mornings and deals with the bottle machines and vendors. I've been going to the store in Bandon since I moved here nine years ago and every encounter I have with him is negative. He is always bashing his employment, very unhappy working there, cusses around customers including myself. Well, this morning he went too far. I welcomed him back from his vacation and he literally told me "what idiot would say that to someone, as a matter of fact, you're an idiot." I was in shock that he just told me I was an idiot and told him if he isn't happy working there, then just leave. I'm tired of listening to him complain about his job. Either leave or stop with his actions. He told me he couldn't leave because he gets paid too much and has a lot of vacation time as well as owns a house. I told him to make best for what you have, stop being so grumpy all the time. He ignored me. I have complained on him numerous times before and nobody seems to care. I complained to James (front cash register, wears a mask, older gentleman) and he didn't seem to care. I have talked to a manager on two separate occasions and I get turned away as if they don't want to hear it. Another cash register employee takes his side when I have mentioned it to her. She is an older lady. Sorry, I do not have names of anybody. Grumpy doesn't wear a name tag. This employee gives your business a bad vibe and I have no idea why he is still working there constantly complaining about his job to me.

Nice coffee shop serving food as well that's open early. Even on Sunday. I had a breakfast bagel with egg, cheese and bacon. If I go again, I'll try sausage. The biscuits & gravy looks great.

Great little coffee shop! Literally the cutest. Coffee was great (Beandonian), biscuits & gravy was great, and my hubby enjoyed his hot breakfast sandwich. You can tell it's the place to go with all the locals coming and calling orders in. The staff was friendly and kept their cool despite the occasional busy periods. Would definitely be my go-to if I lived here!

Cookies- the chocolate chip was good not great. Decent flavor but nothing amazing. Pretty neutral. The oatmeal peanut butter m&m cookie was great. Good flavor, great texture. Would get again. Biscuits - good biscuits. Not overly dry with a good flavor. Not amazing, but I'd get again.

AMAZING food and coffee! However, I ordered a rise and shine which is supposed to have tomato & avocado. I only received ham and cheese but decided it was fine and I wasn’t going to say anything. I went back a 2nd time for a 2nd cup of coffee. I wanted a white sugar free mocha 12oz, $4.25. It rang as $5.25. I asked the girl why and she said she didn’t know. I said well it’s advertised as $4.25, she said it was ringing as $5.25. She then got a manager and manager said it’s ringing up as that and they need to update their sign. I said there should at least be a sign saying the prices are higher until you do update it. It’s not about the $1.00 but more so the principal and the lack of customer service. There was nothing she would do. I paid $5.25 and mentioned that when I came earlier, my sandwich didn’t have tomato or avocado. She said “thanks for your feedback”. I guess I was looking more for an apology for the 2 negative experiences back to back. Food and coffee were great though.

Great “coffee” spot just as you enter the Old Downtown Brandon. We stopped here each of our 3 days in Brandon. Tables inside and also outside, so it’s dog friendly. Lots of coffee/tea options. I’m a picky chai tea drinker and it was great. I’m also all about sweet things. Loved the cinnamon rolls and the cookies, especially the Cranberry Orange cookie. OMG… it was soft & bursting with flavors. The bagel sandwiches that our neighbors had looked delicious.
B M — Google review
Amazing, fresh made bagels and pastries. Delicious coffee. Local art inside, along with fresh flowers on the tables. Love it!
Tana S — Google review
It's pretty decent. The coffee isn't great, but they do have lots of variety and seasonal drinks. The service was alright, seemed like the people didn't like their jobs. The atmosphere is nice, it seems like a nice place to hang out and chat with some friends, plus there's lots of cool local art. The pastries are pretty good!

Is a nice coffee house, okay friendliness. The toasted bagel with cream cheese is not very toasted and little cream cheese 👎🏼 Could be much better if someone understood making this right

This is our favorite restaurant in Bandon by far. The seafood is amazing and we just make sure to get reservations the minute we roll into town. Also, the margaritas are made with fresh squeezed lime 🍋‍🟩 juice and are delicious. Highly recommended & we see them turn people away every time we’re here.

5/5 The clam chowder was pretty good with generous chunks of clam. 3/5 The fish and chips are found wanting. The tarter sauce is way too "mayo-ee". The breading on the fish needs more seasoning. The fish is...meh. Dry rather than simply flakey. 4/5 The cranberry bread was really good but I was only given one small piece. Odd note is my bread was given to be on a small plate. Every other table was offered basket stuffed with bread. Perhaps this was because I was eating alone but I would've liked a more generous serving of this as well. 5/5 My server was nice and attentive even though it was busy. Note, she was not the one to bring me the bread. The ambiance is unique in a good way. Nice view of part of the harbor. It was crowded tonight so the voices echoed pretty loud in the small space with old wooden walls. Not a super big problem but if you're looking for a quiet dinner this may not be the place.
Aaron W — Google review
The best dinner of our 10-day road trip along the Oregon coast. This is Oregon cranberry country, and the cranberry bread that accompanied our meal was phenomenal. If you stop by early enough, you can order a loaf and pick it up the next day. My salad featured shrimp and cranberries--an unusual combination, but it worked beautifully--just delicious. Service was great. Highly recommended.
Linda S — Google review
Stopped here for lunch. The best thing about it was our server and the water. The food was not good. I had the blackened chicken pasta and it was not at all what I expected it to be. I have had this dish in many restaurants in many states and although everyone always has their own take on it, never have I ever had what tasted like jarred marinara sauce on it. It was not edible. My husband ordered the Cajun seafood grill and he said the seafood tasted like it was fresh off the Sysco truck. To their credit, they did take my meal off the bill because I couldn’t eat it, even though I said I was happy to pay for it. And it does have a relaxing atmosphere and good views to enjoy.
Misty L — Google review
We went upstairs to the Crowsnest and the views were beautiful. Suki took care of us and was sweet and helpful. The Crab Cocktail was great. The crab was fresh and delicious and the little bit of cocktail sauce was something that I have never had with crab meat but was a wonderful addition. The deep fried stuffed mushrooms were very good, and I am normally not a fan of mushrooms. The grilled salmon was beautifully moist and had a nice charred note. The scallops and shrimp in the seafood linguine were very good. The noodles were a bit soft and watery, the flavors in the seafood tomatoes carried the dish to being good if not great.
Joe G — Google review
The Wheelhouse quickly became my favorite restaurant while visiting Bandon! My friend and I enjoyed it so much that we ate there three times in just two days. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. They were very accommodating with my dairy- and gluten-free requests, which I really appreciated. Great prices, generous portions, and delicious food — the sauce was the cherry on top (honey vineggrette) I highly recommend it!
Jennifer M — Google review
The service team was extremely kind and attentive. The food tasted fresh and well done for what it is. My partner said the scallops were a bit rubbery but I didn’t mind at all. It was certainty generously portioned and satiating!

Excellent wood fired pizza with a good blend of cheeses. Great dark beer! Friendly service. Staff brought our dogs water before we even ordered. Dog friendly patio and indoor seating. Excellent selection of beers on tap from local breweries.

GREAT beer. Pizza was pretty good too! Wood fired and fresh. Did I mention great beer? One of the best pale ales I’ve honestly ever had. Loved this place.

The fries are to die for. One of the best I’ve ever had. Never experienced anything like them before. Half the size of JoJo’s, same great flavor, crispy, and cooked perfectly. Also had the burger, very good, but dry overcooked patty, and the chicken sliders. Everything was great besides my burger patty. Do NOT walk past this place without having some food! I don’t drink alcohol and they did not have an NA options so can’t say anything about the brewery. But the food was great.

Great to find an impossible burger and vegan cheese on the coast! I had to ask for bread instead of their pretzel bun, sub ketchup instead of the sauce, and sub vegan cheese, but they were super accommodating. Their fries were also quite good!

Waited for this (take out) burnt pizza for an hour. Very unorganized… Had to ask about the progress of the pizza multiple times. Few people ahead of us received an incorrect order. The large pizza was put in two boxes cause it wouldn’t fit in one?! Would not recommend this place if you are starving.

This place is awesome! We as visitors who had no idea about the place looked at the reviews and were a little hesitant but let me tell you the trick. If you are ordering a pizza call ahead so you don't have to wait. I think that this would be a 4.9 if people didn't have all of the negative reviews about the wait for the pizza and even so, it would be worth waiting for. The Hawaiian was fabulous and we really enjoyed our tasting. Randall was a great server at the bar. Check this out if you are in the area!

Bandon Fish Market is a popular seafood spot in Bandon, Oregon, offering a variety of seafood options such as fish 'n' chips, sandwiches, and chowders. The market has both indoor and outdoor seating and is known for its bustling atmosphere with long lines stretching out the door. Despite mixed reviews on the food quality, it remains a local favorite with consistent crowds.
Great spot to get fish and chips and a beer in Bandon. They have bottled beer for a reasonable price with a decent selection. Seating is indoor and outdoor. Prices are reasonable if a little high for food, several types of fish you can pick from, cod, halibut, rock fish, and more. They also have dining options for children such as Mac and cheese. The fish tacos were well proportioned and tasted good. I can confidently recommend the Bandon fish market.

My wife, youngest daughter, and I stopped in for some lunch. We ordered fish and chips. I passed on the fries and got an extra coleslaw. The coleslaw was very good. It's worth getting extra. The fish was good, and the atmosphere was relaxing. We sat across the parking lot at a picnic table on the boardwalk. The server brought our food out to us. She was friendly and kind. The food was good and exactly what you would expect for the town and the location. Food came to us in a box with fish, fries, and slaw. Having said that, I know you get it, and there are plenty of other pictures of the food. My pictures represent some fun aspects of Bandon. The beach at Face Rock is wonderful, engaging, and different. It is well worth the trip to Bandon, a stop at the beach and lunch on the boardwalk at Bandon Fish Market! It's about the experience of adventure, not just the food.

Nothing grilled here. Only fried. I think there was grilled salmon but they said it came in that way. A really long wait for our food but it was lunch time and a little tourist town. A cute little town not to be missed and the halibut was okay.

Some of the best fish & chips, clam strips, and smoked salmon clam chowder that I’ve ever had. You can eat your food outside on the boardwalk. I would definitely check this place out if you’re looking for fresh seafood with a view.

I read reviews and wanted to try the food. It is a very small building, but the staff were all working really hard. You walk up to the counter and order. There are a few tables inside and several outside. We took ours and ate on the pier. The food was ok. We got the halibut sandwich and fish and chips. We thought the sandwhich would be a chunk or steak of halibut, but it was shredded and pressed into a patty. The fish and chips were pretty greasy. For such a long wait, it really wasn't worth it for us.

High praise for the amazing piece of salmon we bought to cook at home, it made it so easy to enjoy a spectacular meal! Before we bought the fish we ate lunch there: halibut fish and chips, the chowders, sandwiches, best we’ve had here on our beautiful Oregon Coast vacation. Applause and thanks to the fishermen and the chefs! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Went kite flying took most of my grown kids. Had a blast. Stopped here for dinner like we usually do. 9 fish & chips 2 clam chowder assorted drinks. It was very good. Love the batter on the fish crunchy and tasty. There was a wait but was worth it.

The halibut burger was awesome. Portions were great size and had the best prices we’ve seen on the coast. Plus you can sit with a beautiful view of the river.

Arcade Tavern is a great spot in Bandon's Old Town section, near the marina and boardwalk. It offers a simple but delicious menu with highly recommended craft beers on tap and good pizza. The tavern is known for its friendly atmosphere, making it a favorite among locals and visitors alike. With impressive pool tables, it's also a good place to catch football games with NFL Sunday Ticket.
Great prices, food was good, service was awesome. The bartender let us play pool for free and you can tell this is where a lot of the locals go.
Monica J — Google review
Came into town and heard about this place. I went and became very disappointed. The tavern itself is a cool looking spot with pool tables. We stood at the bar for almost 15 minutes as the bartender helped the locals first. Finally came over asked what we wanted then walked away and never came back. A different bartender finally got our drinks. We ordered a chicken strip basket and they were terrible, definitely frozen out of a box. Tasted like McDonald's chicken nuggets but worse. I ended up not even eating them. The fries were good though. Won't be back for sure and I highly suggest that whom ever reads this find a different place to enjoy your time and meal. Also not an arcade even in the slightest. Cash only to hy the way just putting it out there.

Favorite dive bar in Bandon hands down. Great food and service. Smoking area outside. Gaming inside

It's just that, and arcade! Pizza I'm sure. Kids B-day parties. And lots of arcade games, skee-ball too!!! Not sure if the pricing. I only peeked my head around the corner.

Restaurant
Broken Anchor Bar and Grill is a vibrant tavern with a maritime theme, offering an energetic atmosphere along with a menu featuring cocktails, burgers, and tacos. The establishment stands out for its bright and lively setting. Visitors can expect to enjoy delicious fish and chips made with rockfish, providing a unique twist on this classic dish. With its upbeat vibe and nautical decor, Broken Anchor Bar and Grill offers an enjoyable dining experience for patrons looking for great food in a lively setting.
Stopped in at the Broken Anchor Bar and Grill while on vacation in Bandon, and I’m glad I did. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and fries — everything came out hot, fresh, and flavorful. The burger had just the right amount of crispy bacon and melted cheddar, and the fries were perfectly seasoned and crunchy. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Great spot for a casual meal, and I’d definitely eat here again next time I’m in town!
Josh M — Google review
The atmosphere was OK especially for a small town. It was pretty busy on a Wednesday evening. We ordered the Jalapeño Peanut Butter Bacon Burger, Mac Burger, and Fish Tacos. The jalapeño burger did not live up to all the hype. Too much peanut butter. The Mac Burger was actually my favorite. The tacos were good but standard. The worst part was the burger patties were awful. They were ultra processed and reminded me more of a veggie burger than a true hamburger. The service left much to be desired as well. I will not be going back. DO NOT use the restroom! They were disgusting!
J D — Google review
Maybe the best fish and chips I have had at the Oregon coast. Huge portion and perfectly fried. The decoration at the bar is interesting. I got the food to go but had a beer while I waited.

Lunch, I had a delicious burger and the wife had a Cobb salad with tender juicy chicken breasts. A fun stop with great service. Full bar and slot machines

This place seems. to be a clean average place. I will definitely stop in again. Nice open atmosphere, and the food was good. Good place to go if you're meeting friends who are a little louder and ready to have fun..

Food was actually decent. Great portions. We had the Keto Tacos and the The jalapeno egg rolls. The egg rolls are good especially if you like lots of cream cheese. The dipping sauce they serve with it is epic! Service was slow and the waiter overcharged us but fixed it once we pointed it out so no harm. Just wish they had more staff to help out really.
Esoteric E — Google review
I tried to call the restaurant but it says mailbox full and I didn't see a way to email. Anyways, picked up an order for a Buffalo chicken wrap and there was a long black/dark brown hair embedded in middle of the wrap. It was a bummer cause it ruined the meal.

Such amazing food and a great place to stop. Really cool country bar built around an amazing menu with stellar quality food and amazing service. Started with the cheese curds which rival any I’ve had from Wisconsin. I Had the Cobb salad which was the best I’ve had and my wife had the Keto Tacos which were on another planet. Even the kids plates were top shelf quality. Highly recommend this stop.

Mexican restaurant
La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant is situated in a renovated house by the Bay, where it faces strong winds. Some indoor tables offer views, while the outdoor patio lacks shade and scenery during lunch. The front porch is spacious but lacks seating arrangements. The menu is extensive and offers reasonably priced lunch specials of good value. They also serve satisfying sit-down meals. I enjoyed a freshly flavored chicken taco salad and an enchilada combo, accompanied by chips and a delightful salsa.
Really good Mexican food!!!! Awesome staff too. Beautiful view of the bay to top it off. Glad we stopped in!
Tyler G — Google review
I really was disappointed ☹️ the location is amazing and the view stunning but the restaurant is old and run down, the service was extremely slow, and the food was blah. I remember it being so good a few years ago. Why is it so bland now? What happened?
Esoteric E — Google review
Located in a converted house across the street from the Bay, exposed to wind. Views from a few indoor tables, outdoor patio with no view or shade at lunch. Long front porch with no seating. Large menu and good value lunch specials. Fine sit down meals. Had a chicken taco salad and a enchilada combo that tasted fresh. Served with chips and a nice salsa. Medium service speed and friendliness. Mild spice. They had Mexican Coke. Will return.
Wade B — Google review
I ordered the taco and enchilada combo. It was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh and hot. The view was beautiful and the staff was welcoming, friendly and fast. We got right in and the food came quickly. The prices are very reasonable. Definitely try them out!

La fiesta was Absolutely incredible! The super nachos were out of this world—loaded, flavorful, and perfectly made. The service was top-notch, and our server (I believe his name was Eduardo) was genuinely one of the kindest and most attentive people I’ve ever met.

Rudest server I've ever experienced, my wife has a dairy allergy, they were concerned with cross contamination in the kitchen, I still wanted to order, the server rudely told us he wouldn't serve either of us and that we shoukd leave. We tried to explain that only I was going to order, again he told us to leave.

Seafood restaurant
Lord Bennett's is a charming restaurant that offers a tranquil setting with stunning ocean views. It is known for its delectable seafood and steaks, perfectly paired with an impressive selection of wines. The elegant ambiance makes it an ideal spot to enjoy a sunset while savoring the fantastic halibut or indulging in the famous Crab Eggs Benedict during weekend brunch. With attentive staff and breathtaking views, Lord Bennett's promises a memorable fine dining experience.
You know, it's really hard to find a 4 star+ restaurant on the Oregon coast, but this 4 course meal was the best we've had in years. Maybe better than our home BBQ. Lol. But the food was amazing, the service was very attentive and pleasant. Over all a great meal experience. If you are in or passing through Bandon, Oregon, this is truly a must stop.
Paul L — Google review
The food was okay. The crab cakes were okay, not the best I’ve had but not the worst. My husband had the pasta with smoked salmon and he liked it. I had the pasta with crab legs, it was okay, I would describe the sauce as more of a soup base than an actual sauce. They give you a side of vegetables and they are covered in some sort of soy sauce. The chocolate mousse wasn’t bad.
Kelsey C — Google review
I was staying at the hotel across the street and thought I would try it. I ordered crab cakes and a Caesar salad to go. First off, trying to find the entrance was a challenge. Then, you going and have no idea where to go. Figured out it was upstairs. The waitress looked me up and down and I actually called her out on it. Got my bag and as I was leaving they were like "here is your crab cakes". The food was absolutely awful. The crab cakes were soggy and topped with what they called a remoulade. More like cat food. The Caesar salad was basic at best. I spent $33 for that garbage. And, as I always do I tipped the jerks. If they hadn't closed right after I left, I would have gone back and told them. Don't go there! I guess they think since they have a fancy name, they can serve crap and charge crazy prices for it. I don't normally write reviews, especially bad ones, but felt the need for this place.
Wendi C — Google review
A five star sweep! But I have to confess that Lord Bennett's was not our first choice but so glad that we ended up there. We were in Bandon for one night while traveling the Oregon coast. When we arrived at the first restaurant, they told us that both their fryer and grill were not working and tossed us a menu with anything grilled or fried crossed out in black marker. Classy. We passed. So, we went across the street to an Italian restaurant and twenty minutes before their published closing time, they said that "they were done for the night." OK, who is open past eight o'clock and we showed up at Lord Bennett's and got a warm welcome. It's the off season so it wasn't real busy but the menu looked great and the dining room was warm and inviting. I had the halibut cheeks special and my wife treated herself to the Ahi. Both dishes were perfect. The fish was terrific but the vegetable side dish especially outstanding. And our server was very pleasant without being cloying. Highly recommend Lord Bennet's!

Quiet on a chilly wet Sunday evening in December guessing sunset would be gorgeous other times of year. We added a salad to our meal so not necessary. But delicious. We got extra veg instead of rice and it was the best variety of veg we have ever gotten. Also delicious. We both enjoyed our fish. Being from a landlocked state we are getting as much fish as we can on our trip. We splurged and got dessert as well. Yum.
Judy H — Google review
Ate fettuccine with crab legs and was delicious. Had onion soup because the am chowder was out. We came and hour before closing. Soup was good.
Rachelle P — Google review
The hostess was not very warm or friendly, but our server was very good. The warm bread was delicious. The salmon special, house salad, seafood combination all well prepared and tasty. The atmosphere is beautiful and wonderful at sunset. Our hotel is a few steps away and this was extremely convenient. Despite the unfriendly sour hostess we enjoyed our dining experience.

Face Rock State Scenic Viewpoint is a picturesque waterfront park in Bandon, Oregon, offering stunning views of the rugged sea stacks and arches along the coastline. Legend has it that one of the sea stacks resembles the profile of a face, adding to its allure. The viewpoint provides beach access, picnic tables, and opportunities for whale watching. Additionally, visitors can explore tide pools within the Oregon Islands National Wildlife Refuge nearby.
Fair amount of parking, huge walking area at high or low tide. (Better at low tide to see starfish clinging to the bottoms of the rock formations). TWO wizard hat shaped rocks. Great view from the parking lot if you can’t go down the stairs. The sand was firm here which is easier for walking on. Kid friendly and dog friendly. There was a bathroom at this parking lot but I didn’t use it.
Leslie A — Google review
This is a nice viewpoint. Stopped here on my way back to coos Bay. Really appreciate the restrooms here. They were nice and clean and very new and updated. The parking lot looked like it was freshly striped. If there wasn't as much wind, this would been a far more enjoyable. View stop for us but with two little ones under two there really wasn't much opportunity to take in the fuse. There's lots to see here and apparently a trail that leads down to the beach. As you can see, there's even some horseback riding that goes through this area which in and of itself is impressive. I love to come back and revisit this place when there's less wind. It's definitely worth checking out if you have not been there yourself
David B — Google review
We were there on a perfect sunny day with the tide out so we could venture into the rock and check out the tide pools. Sea Stars, Sea Anemones, Crabs 🦀 and more.

Great little beach area with some explorable sea caves. You can avoid getting wet in the caves if you come during low tide. The beach can be quite cold and foggy, be sure to bring footwear equipped for sand as well. Don't forget your sunscreen!

Very scenic place with lots of neat rocks/boulders. Neat time to visit is during low tide so you can wander around the base of the rocks and see sea life in the tide pools

This was so cool once it was explained to me which rock it was. It's the white colored rock in the back. Envision the left part as a forehead. It will look like a head tilted toward the sky. Maybe it should be called Head Rock.

Oregon Islands National Wildlife Refuge, located near Bandon on Oregon's South-Western Coastline, is a stunning natural area encompassing numerous offshore rocks and islands. Visitors can explore Coquille Point with its large tidal flats and rock formations, as well as the picturesque Face Rock State Scenic Viewpoint featuring a large beach and rocky outcroppings.
Absolutely fantastic! A place you must see! My husband and I have spent the last few hours here and everything keeps changing as the time flows. Walking on the beach is relaxing and looking at the tide pools really gets your curiosity going. Such a nice place to be at peace.

The sea rocks here exceed expectations. Honestly, I prefer this area over Cannon Beach. Exploring the massive beaches at low tide is so much fun. There are seals sunning themselves on the rocks and thousands of birds on the rocks and in flight. You can walk on the cliffs above the beach or take the stairs down and walk the beach itself.

Lived in this area for years. It’s beautiful, windy and many times cold. This isn’t a walk in the water beach area very often, but when you hit it right on that rare no wind, no rain and sunny day it’s breathtaking ! During our visit it was incredibly windy, as you opened the vehicle door the wind blew so hard your doors slam shut and your hair stood up and wiped around fiercely!😃 It was a great day to watch the waves from inside the vehicle.

Such a lovely beach to walk along, amount one of my favorites on the West Coast! The large rock formations add much character to the area, but aren't so dense it makes navigating the beach difficult, like some of the other beaches in the region. On these large rocks you can spot starfish and numerous seabirds. The trailhead Jetty area is also a Rockhounding danger zone! You will go home with buckets full of beautiful stones! I've found some of my most treasured and unique rocks on this beach, and is my #1 favorite Rockhounding spot with a pretty diverse population of rocks!

Cranberry Sweets & More is a delightful store in the USA that resembles something out of a storybook. They offer an array of homemade fudge, jellybeans, and an entire wall filled with flavored popcorn. Before COVID, they even allowed sampling of their products. The store is known for its delicious treats such as Beer and Cider Candies, Key Lime Cookies, Cranberry Walnut Fudge, and Caramel Almond Chocolate Covered Pretzels.

Alright y'all this is the "SPOT" to check out in Bandon. My wife, daughter and I dropped in as we were trekking through Bandon and "OMG" the place is the number one SWEETS SPOT on the coast. The staff here are awesome as they are continually checking on the many customers dropping in and always trying to get you to try the great samples. I do have to say the amount of actual SAMPLES is awesome and helped us choose many great treats for the family. I do want to say that this was a great time to come during spring break as we were able to venture around and actually see the many stores here. We will definitely be back in the very near future as it's worth the drive. Prices are not extreme and leave room to get many treats.

This is another store I always have to make a point to stop at in Bandon whenever I’m in town. Cranberry sweets offers many different candies and pastries, ranging from fudge, taffy, fruit dipped candies, and more. The store had a lot of sample bowls, making it easier to decide what to buy. The environment looks overall well maintained, and the staff had positive looks on their faces. Overall, I’m a fan of this location, and I’ll likely return in the future.

The tastes and smells of fall! From the cranberry candle and candy to the lemon meringue pie sweets! It is the perfect place to bring your senses through the seasons! I am saving the chocolate tastings for Christmas time! My husband loved holding hands through the store and finding a surprise around every corner!

Watch out… This place is DANGEROUSLY addictive! They have a wide variety of chocolate, taffy, popcorn, and jelly candies! Not to mention some amazing soaps and other miscellaneous things. I definitely recommend coming and trying free samples! Just a warning though… you won’t leave empty handed 🤣

This is a great place to get some treats and gifts from the Oregon coast. The employees are all very friendly and helpful. They don't have samples out like they used to but they will get any sample you would like. The door is not automatic and it is not very wide so it may be difficult for handicapped customers.

I love venturing through Bandon and visiting all the shops. This store is one of the reasons why I go. I have a bit of a sweet tooth, I'm not going to lie. They have all sorts of candies they make. To top it off, they'll let you sample any of them. This is nice because you know you'll be going home with something you really want and will enjoy. They also offer small gift items and other things like soap.

The Coquille River Lighthouse, a charming red-and-white structure dating back to 1896, is a must-visit during the summer months. Located in Bandon's Old Town area, visitors can enjoy strolling through independently owned shops and restaurants offering everything from fine dining to casual seafood joints and pubs. The riverfront boardwalk provides picturesque views of boats, a unique sculpture garden, and a public crabbing dock where visitors can rent gear and cook up their fresh catch.
Started out the day gray & rainy but tranformed into a lovely sunny afternoon. My husband contemplated fishing off the rocks at the Coquille Lighthouse built in the late 1800s.

Interesting bit of local history but if you expect to see anything but empty old lighthouse you will be disappointed. The circular stars to the tower are closed as we were told they are unsafe. The room that held the fog horn and equipment to produce steam is now a small museum . Very nice volunteer staff who answered questions. Some photos of when it had been surrounded by water or was in use would have improved the experience.

This is a cute little lighthouse. It was open with a small gift shop inside. There is a small trail along beach that wraps around to parking area. Yons of driftwood lining the trail. Lots of places to get to beach
Christina M — Google review
Loved this scenic and historic stop on our day trip! The gift shop was quaint and the shopkeepers were super friendly and lighthearted.
Edythe W — Google review
Short walk from the parking area to the lighthouse, which was open at the time, and contains a gift shop. Cute lighthouse with waves lapping at the rocks below. Though the lighthouses have been made obsolete by GPS they are a treasure to be protected for future generations! Make the visit while you still can! There are vault toilets and picnic tables at the parking area. Beach with a ton of driftwood near by and a jetty you can walk out on, just use caution, we made it about halfway down before I got too nervous to continue. We will come back!

Fun weekday visit! Scenic setting with friendly volunteer staff. Free admission but donations were welcomed.

Love seeing the Oregon coast light houses! Really awesome part of history. Right on the jetty which on a calm day you can walk all the way out on and right by the best beach in Bandon.

Face Rock Creamery is a renowned cheese maker that has been operating since the 1800s. Their award-winning products include a variety of cheddar cheeses, cheese curds, fromage blanc, and Monterey Jack. Additionally, visitors can enjoy ice cream, beer, and wine at the on-site cafe. The creamery is located near popular Beach Loop parks such as Devils Kitchen and Coquille Point, offering beautiful views and easy beach access trails.
I always make it a point to stop at this Creamery every-time I visit Bandon. The Cheese Curds are phenomenal, and so are all the different cheese flavors. There are samples, so you can try variations of cheese before making a purchase. They had other food options as well, I opted for the ice cream, which had a light creamy texture with on point flavors. There was plenty of seating and the staff remained diligent during busy hours. Overall, I personally like Thai creamery and I’ll be back in the future.
Ayden M — Google review
Entering face rock creamery, it is so cute inside. there are many little items to choose from, jelly's, cheeses, and different things like that. I really enjoyed looking around and shopping. there. Is a separate counter where you order the meals and drinks, and there is a separate area where you order your ice cream and desert. I ordered the tuna melt. Thinking that because we were on the coast, it would be special. It was not special. The tuna tasted like I just opened a can of tuna at home. The only plus on the sandwich was the cheese. The cheese was awesome. One thing that? I did not like, was that the tables were all dirty. They? Had. A? Spray bottle. And a rig on top of the trash? Can I assume people for wiping their own tables if they didn't want to sit in other people's filth. I did not try their ice cream. I will do that next time as for the tuna sandwich I do not recommend. Cute place, go try it for yourself.

We went with a pretty large group of people to finish off an EPEC camping trip. The service was great and cheese was delicious. My family got ice cream- generous scoop in a delicious waffle cone for only $3. They we decided to get a little pretzel which of course was huge and also delicious. The place was tidy, including the bathrooms and overall a wonderful stop for us. We will for sure be back.

No smoked cheddar on our visit but we managed to find a couple other nice options. You can try before you buy 💥🙌🏼. Good Umpqua ice cream, raspberry sorbet and vanilla for a refreshing taste.👌🏼

Delicious cheese with plenty of samples. They serve Umpqua Ice Cream for $2.50 a very small scoop. They're food was shockingly expensive for what they actually give you - but it was delicious.

Italian restaurant
Restaurant
Angelo's Italy is a charming and laid-back eatery that serves up a delightful selection of classic Italian dishes, from hearty pastas to fresh salads. Nestled in Bandon, this hidden gem offers an authentic taste of Italy, thanks to recipes passed down through generations from the original owner Angelo’s family.
I was SO pleasantly surprised to stumble across this gem while traveling along the coast. The ambiance of the restaurant is amazing and the food is superb. The *moment my best friend said she had celiac, the woman waiting on me took it seriously. We were sitting close to the kitchen and heard her inform her kitchen staff that it was a person with celiac so to wash their hands and be extremely cautious and mindful, use new utensils, etc. It was so comforting. My best friend and I ordered two GF pizzas (though there are so many gf options!). We anticipated the standard small GF pizza but both pizzas were so much larger than normal! We had a lot of leftovers but trust me, I could have kept eating because it was DELICIOUS! We split a Caesar salad and then had their pepperoni pizza and the Quattro Frommagio pizza.... Sublime!

An excellent Italian restaurant in old town Bandon. The mushroom ravioli was great as well as the spaghetti. We were also treated to some great music by a local piano player. A great choice if you’re looking for a place to eat in old town.
G H — Google review
What a cute little gem! It was an absolute delight just to sit here, soaking in the cozy atmosphere while a live violinist played in the background — such a rare and lovely touch. The food didn't disappoint either: classic bruschetta, pepperoni pizza, and penne arrabbiata, each arriving in its own sweet time but worth the wait. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. A must-visit if you’re in the area — for both the ambiance and the food.
Nidhi T — Google review
The best place about this place was the environment. The food was good. My family had the lasagna, fettuccine alfredo, and tortellini. We got six pieces of bread for 5 of us and then had to ask for more after 20 minutes. The one waitress had offered multiple other tables more bread prior to us and only said anything after I made a comment. I chose this place due to the pizza being offered however it is only available every other week which was not when I was there. I would not suggest bringing kids, there is no kids menu and no coloring pages. The tables are small and 5 of us had a hard time fitting. I would only recommend for adults.

They are now open 7 days a week. 5 to 9pm NI love this restaurant the meals are so delicious and just the experience it's self is amazing.. they have live music all the time and they are open now 7 days a week from 5 to 9.. The owner is an down to earth person very sweet.. the waitress Heather is great very sweet and is great with people
Kristie P — Google review
When walking in the atmosphere is great with live music out on the patio but for my birthday meal that is where the good experience ended. We had a reservation and were told by someone to wait for our waitress to seat us after arriving...then were provided with traditional olive oil and balsamic mixture with bread a small portion of 4 slices and almost no balsamic to speak of and no extra provided to add or offered. The table for 2 was so tiny and they had many other options to seat us at but chose the smallest and my husband is quite large at 6'3". The waitress rushed us to order drinks as we sat down. And about two minutes later for our order...We had possibly the most bland un-pesto like chicken pesto pasta I have ever tasted. The portion did not meet the price tag of around 30.00 either with hardly any chicken to speak of which was the only flavorful part of the pasta by the way. We were not checked on but once after ordering by the person giving us our pasta. I had heard so many good things saw the pictures and reviews only to be let down. Unfortunately we won't be coming back and we are local.

We really enjoyed our meal. The live music was fantastic. The atmosphere was cozy. Limited seating, I would recommend reservations. Not a fast food Italian joint. Having lived in Italy you realize that Italian food is about the ambiance. It is meant to be taken slow. You get that here. Loved it.
Dawn P — Google review
This was our second time here for dinner as we really enjoyed the food and the live, soft background music despite finding the waitress/owner unfriendly and rude on our first visit. We hoped she was just having a bad day and told her how much we enjoyed the Chianti we had last time so she understood we were returning customers. We waited an unreasonable amount of time for our meal noticing that a two other couples who arrived after us received their meals while we continued to wait for ours. She never looked at us each time she passed and when I asked how we we were doing with our meal she just made a rude comment. When the food finally did come, she never even explained why we had to wait so long and never once checked on us after this. We suspect she is an owner as we cant imagine an employee being able to get away with being so rude an uncaring with customers. Dinner cost us $126 and despite enjoying the food and the music we will not return there as a result of her unwelcoming and rude behavior.

I regret not purchasing more of their cream-filled cone-shaped treats. These are undoubtedly the most exceptional, fluffiest, and lightest heavenly slices of deliciousness I have ever tasted. Additionally, they offer adorable stickbuns or cinnamon rolls in the shape of octopuses; although I wasn't entirely sure what they were called. I highly recommend visiting this establishment to sample their delectable pastries. The service provided by the women working there was excellent and it was my first time visiting.
We ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza, which was made from scratch in the open kitchen space where we could watch the food being prepared. We also ordered pastries to go. They were amazing! The owners were very kind and attentive to customers. The prices are very reasonable. If you're anywhere near Bandon, you need to visit Pastries & Pizza!

We’ve been stopping at this pastry gem for three years in a row during our West Coast travels, and it never disappoints. It’s the perfect place to stock up on freshly made, delicious cookies. But the real standout? Their amazing berry muffins — soft, flavorful, and hands-down our family favorite. A must-visit spot for anyone with a sweet tooth!

We stopped into this fabulous pizza and pastry shop on s Friday afternoon. The staff was wonderful! The service was outstanding and the food was delicious! We like a combination pizza with Pepperoni, Pineapple and Canadian Bacon and that 's what we ordered. The toppings were evenly distributed all over the pizza. The quality of the ingredients was great. We also ordered Teo butter chocolate chip cookies as well as a fruit tart and fruit turnover. It was all delicious! We would highly recommend this spot when you are in town, or driving through like us! Enjoy!!

Wow, this place rocks! Stopped in initially for donuts and pastries. The woman was so friendly and helpful, and after reciting all the prices for everything in the case, we knew we'd be taking home a box of sweets - prices are more than reasonable! She even wrapped up our things well "to go" as we were saving them for the following day (since they were closed for 2 days, and we would be gone by then). After such great service (and awesome reviews) we came back that night for 2 pizzas (veggie and Hawaiian) - they were amazing, and again, so well priced esp for Bandon where everything seems expensive. The monstrous Bavarian cream pastry was so delicious (not dry at all) with moist thin layers that practically melted in my mouth. Cookies were awesome too! She said her husband gets up at 2am every morning to start baking. What a gem this place is, and you can taste the love. Super friendly and awesome food. We would come back to Bandon for this place alone!!

The pizza was delicious and the service great! It was a very friendly, laid-back welcoming experience. The prices were reasonable as well. The atmosphere and food was exactly what I needed after a day of hiking, exploring, and driving. I got the pepperoni, jalapenos, and sausage pizza. My wife who tends to not like pizza, really liked this pizza.

Sunset Oceanfront Lodging offers a variety of rooms and rustic cottages on a hilltop, providing stunning views of the beach. Guests can enjoy an indoor pool and whirlpool during their stay. The hotel's cafe serves a full menu featuring soups, breads, seafood, steaks, and omelets for breakfast and lunch. Visitors appreciate the cozy Oceanfront Duplex with its pine ceiling and brick fireplace that exudes a rustic cabin vibe overlooking the ocean.
This was a great place to stay. Randomly picked it out of other places to stay and wasn't disappointed. The breakfast could use some work but didn't take away from the stay at all. Great views and excellent rooms. Really dug the hot tub and pool. It is pretty neat that the beach is right there and the hotel isn't far from other state parks. I highly recommend this place and will be staying again in the future.

For a 2-Star lodge, the Sunset is terrific! First, every staff member is so friendly and helpful! We had a large king room (#191) and it was great. The view was worth twice the price! Yes, it's dated and unglamorous, but it was perfect. Couch, chair, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and a great patio. It was all we needed. They obviously love dogs as our room had a blanket, sheet and treats. I didn't realize a breakfast was included and, while it wasn't much, it was enough to start the day. Great coffee! The location is great, with beach access just a short walk away. Someone else said this is a hidden gem, and they're right. I would definitely come back to the Sunset!

Amazing coastal town with an amazing beach. The hotel is across the street from the beach yet the view from our room was out of a dream!! The room itself was clean but no A/C. The day we checked in was 81 and room was too warm. No window, just the sliding patio door we had to leave open for hours as the ocean breeze gets cool at night. Unfortunately, this is on the walk way for other hotel guests so not ideal to sleep with it open all night. Next time I will choose a different hotel with either a window or A/C. Attached photo is looking out the patio door beach view.

Incredible views, hot tub & pool, good price, family run. Really appreciated the presence and genuine human feel of the people I interacted with here. This place was an unexpected highlight of a road trip for me. The rooms we ended up in, overlooking the ocean with a private balcony were just unreal. Felt reminiscent of some Italian coastlines, but in the Oregon flavor of nature. The room decor was dated and goofy in a typical non-corporate small town way, but even that felt charming. If what you want is reliable mid-level corporate sterile/cleanliness maybe look elsewhere(I often appreciate that vibe in other settings) but if what you want is to maximize your connection with the awe of the Oregon coastline this place is tops.
JIMMER F — Google review
We stayed in the bottom floor of the Vern Brown addition. The views from the room were stunning and the loading/unloading bags to our room via the stairs was not as cumbersome as I feared. Staff was very friendly and the room was clean and comfy. Their breakfast is open a little later than most other places which we really appreciated, and they have breakfast takeaway bags which is genius.
Katie J — Google review
Stayed in Vern Brown addition and the views over beach were phenomenal. Room was older, but was spacious, microwave, mini fridge, range, dishes, but NO air-conditioning. Afternoon sun heats up room and opening sliding door and window is difficult because there are NO screens and flies are all over the place. Like most things here, but this really bugged me..no pun intended. Why the heck no screens so windows can safely be open? Ridiculous!

I love the Saturday market that goes on here, it’s very small, but there’s some really good vendors. What I don’t love is finding three small fish bones in my tub of bay shrimp. I was disappointed at the texture of the bay shrimp, and did not think they were as sweet as I am used to, and then I found three fish bones in the tub and will not be buying fish at this market in the future.

We are in the Coss Bay area for two weeks and have been looking for fresh fish (catch of the day kind of fish, not frozen or canned). We had almost given up and then stumbled on this place by accident as we were visiting Bandon. The selection was great, the fish looked very fresh and an offer was made and accepted to wrap it in ice. The place was very clean and the people friendly. A stark contrast with the previous day at Chuck’s Seafood where people were also friendly but the fish in very rough shape. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for saving our trip!

First time exploring the downtown area in Bandon. This place was exactly what we were looking for. The Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. If I might make one suggestion, I would recommend that the Bandon Fish Market and Farm and Sea switch their names. We were looking for a fresh fish market to buy local seafood to cook. I had overlooked Farm and Sea because I assumed it was a restaurant by the name. Instead, I went to the Bandon Fish Market only to find out it was a restaurant. I almost threw in the towel because we were exhausted and my kids were cranky. But a friendly local pointed me in the right direction. And I’m so glad they did! We purchased some fresh, local scallops and, wow, it was the best I’d ever had! I’m glad we persevered!!

I make sure to schedule this in every time I am in town! I love the variety, the service, the character, the location, and more! I am personally addicted to the puffed corn 'crack' and look for it every time, but am always pleasantly surprised with something new to try. The unusual variety makes it fun. This last trip I got a can of pesto garlic albacore tuna.
Celeste G — Google review
The cashier was rude and had an attitude. Asked a simple question about the fish and how fresh. She came back with an attitude like I was an idiot. I asked if it was from the bay right where they were on. She said they just received the shipment. Fish was good but the customer service needs work.

Super happy I found this restaurant! Fun atmosphere. Amazing service. Also got to meet the owner who is very hands on and helpful. I had the Moroccan chicken salad and it was out of this world. Worth a trip back for that. Others in my party raved about the food and service as well.

Take you back to the 60's, this little diner/restaurant has delightful old diner look and feel. Generous portions and the gravy is fantastic. I had the chicken fried omelet, unique and very tasty. On the way through Bandon, didn't pass up a great breakfast here.

A nostalgic, retro-themed dining experience visited by both tourists and locals alike. If you're looking for classic Americana food, this is the place to go. Highlights include fluffy hashbrowns, platter-sized pancakes, thick-cut bacon (extra crispy upon request), and made-to-order eggs that were cooked perfectly. They also offered marionberry syrup which will delight any traveler trying to experience the best of Oregon. Overall, a very yummy experience and we wish we could go back for a burger and old-fashioned milkshake.

Holy Fish and Chips and Batman!! The crunch on those 5 generous filets was phenomenal. Nothing like a perfect basket of fried fish before visiting the sea. It’s the next day and my mouth is watering just thinking about them again. I really wanted to try the breakfast, but I’m so glad I ordered that instead. My daughter had the Mac and cheese and was give some crayons and a coloring sheet for entertainment. They also had a cute play kitchen set near the entrance for kids waiting to be sat. It’s too bad we didn’t have to wait because my daughter really wanted to play with it! She was able to on our way out. It’s such a cute restaurant with a retro style theme, bright red and white decor everywhere. The service was very friendly and helpful. We felt welcome and will be back on our next adventure to Bandon.

My wife and I came in for tacos & a burrito while pulling into town. The food was so flavorful that we came back every day of our stay. Andrew was an absolute legend. Someone get that guy a raise! For our anniversary dinner as we sat waiting for a table at the Italian restaurant in town and while discussing dinner both agreed that the tacos here would be better than a fancy Italian meal, so we ditched our fancy plans and came back to the best tacos we’ve ever had in Oregon. Do yourself a favor and get some!

The smoked meat smell hits you as soon as you walk in the door. I found this when looking for “Mexican food” on a drive up the coast. I wouldn’t strictly call it Mexican—it’s more like Mexican-BBQ fusion. The meat in our tacos, nachos, and burritos would have been as much at home served with baked beans and cornbread. But whatever it was, it was delicious, and plentiful. My two middle schoolers shared the junior nachos and didn’t even finish it. The server told me the regular nachos was about 3.5 lbs of food. Absolutely get napkins—this is a messy, delicious meal!

There are tacos, and then there are tacos! Wilson’s did not disappoint! I think there were two chicken thighs in each of these six tacos, and they were amazing! The cilantro sauce combined with the smoky chicken was well balanced, and very worth the stop!

In town for a quick stop on the way north and we were fortunate to stumble across this absolute gem. Unassuming, but the food is absolutely delicious. We had the salad with chicken, the burrito with chicken and pork, and the fries, and each dish was stellar, clearly made not just with skill, but with care by people who take pride in serving great food. Truly cant recommend it enough.

Finding this unique, combination eatery and neighborhood market was SO worth it. We were met with friendly direction, almost carnival barker help--entertaining and intriguing. Gosh, food was all the reviews report: generously portioned, excellent flavors, well made and presented. Wish we'd taken a photo!

This place is AWESOME!! We finally tried it out and they did not disappoint! Burritos are HUGE! Meats are cooked and smoked to perfection and they are really nice here. Very helpful and again, the food. As good or better than most local diners and food trucks, for sure.

The restaurant also features an extensive wine selection, creating the perfect setting for a delightful evening out. With its cozy ambiance and elevated dishes, Alloro Wine Bar & Restaurant is a must-visit for those seeking an authentic Italian dining experience in a laid-back setting.
This place has really great fresh seafood dishes done in an Italian style. The waiter we had was personable, professional, and knowledgeable. The bread was excellent, as were the entrées and cheese flight. My dish was a seafood stew and was very fresh and tasty. All in all, it was a great experience. Get a reservation as they are only open for a limited amount of time daily and were fairly busy while we were there.

Great for a special occasion or "just because" -- best Manhattan clam chowder ever and the special venison with brussels and pistachios really hit the spot. Definitely get reservations. There's quite a bit of artwork to catch your eye as well. A feast for all the senses. Can't wait to come back again. Very attentive and interesting staff. Don't be shy.

The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance with relaxing music and wonderfully flavored food. I had the cod with Brussels sprouts and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our server was wonderful and made the experience pleasant. I believe his name was Mike. The only downside was overhearing a waitress speaking rather rudely to guests, which took away from the otherwise relaxing atmosphere. Without that distraction, this would have been a 5-star experience.

Overall an incredible experience. The food is top notch. Service is impeccable. I am still dreaming of my shrimp over brussel sprout entree. That feta, dill sauce was divine. The bolognese was one of the best my husband has ever had, and he’s been in the restaurant business for 40 years. It’s not everyday you’re in a restaurant in which the chef/owner brings you your food. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Thank you

Lovely restaurant, and a good place for a special occasion. They do recommend a reservation as the dinning room has limited seating. They had live piano music while we were there, and it created a pleasant atmosphere without being to loud - one person in our party didn't even realize it was live until the pianist took a break. The food was good and everything down to the noodles tasted fresh! I do love a good noodle. The menu changes from time to time so images from a year ago, or the posting on their site, may not be 100% current, but a lot of the items were the same with additional dishes available.

One of the best dining experiences of our PNW road trip. From start to finish, absolutely everything was perfect - service, food, atmosphere, The new pesto is AMAZING with the soft-shelled crab - one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had, the scallops and risotto were cooked perfectly, the carmelized onion bisque was a great starter. Be sure to request the house-made bread and olive oil, and don't skip dessert - the apricot mascarpone cheesecake is to die for. Every person working there is delightful, and the ambiance is perfectly intimate and quiet. Fantastic everything; highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

Fantastic dining experience! Alloro has a casual, upscale feel. The front area with the bar is the ideal place to reserve a table. The back room is nice but doesn’t have the same feel as the front bar area. The food was exceptional. It started with hot, fresh focaccia rolls served with a great olive oil and aged balsamic vinegar. Best rolls in town! The dishes are plated beautifully. I enjoyed the pistachio pesto pasta with shrimp. Highly recommended, and you can select your preferred protein (fish of the day, salmon, or scallops). The ribeye was prepared as requested, and was fine but not exceptional. The menu is ideal for those who love fish and seafood. On our trip to Bandon we visited several restaurants, this was by far the best service experience. Thoughtful, professional and properly paced. Pro tip: You must make a reservation and be on time. Like the other restaurants in Bandon, you’ve got to call to reserve a table and the last seating is at 7:30pm.

It is one of the best seafood takeout restaurants in Bandon, Oregon, providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is known for its consistency in delivering top-notch dining experiences.
The Loft Restaurant is a must for breakfast or brunch! We had the smoked salmon and crab cake Benedict, and both were incredible. The mimosas and Bloody Marys were top-notch as well. It was so good, we ate here twice during our 4-day trip. Awesome staff, great views, and a prime location right in downtown!

Perfect breakfast, scratch made and super flavorful - fresh ingredients. Hollandaise sauce and salmon benedict was top 2 I've experienced. Happy staff, good service and a view to top it off. Will definitely be back 👊🤤😁

To start, this restaurant is definitely not handicap accessible. There's a large set of stairs to access the restaurant. I made the effort to climb the stairs, and I was very happy that I did. We were greeted with a smile, and the food was served hot and with a smile. I personally ordered the fish basket with fries and coleslaw. My wife ordered the clam chowder and said it was delicious. My⁰ fish came with crispy breading and sauce. The creamy Coleslaw was excellent, and a spice added that I was not familiar with. Parking can be a premium, but there's a few spaces that are reserved for customers. A nice view of the harbor as well. ⁹

OMG! We did the brunch! POG Margarita was yummy. We had Smoked salmon and crabcake Benedict’s. Wonderful! I love runny yolks, but if you don’t ask for the eggs to cook more.

Fantastic food, great drinks, great service! Chowders were really good (salmon and clam)! Ruben was very good as well! Well worth popping in! Crab Benedict, smoked salmon hash or biscuits and gravy.

Quaint restaurant with a nice view of the pier. Came to eat around lunch time but had breakfast as it’s served all the way until closing (3pm). Had coffee and it is very much just basic instant coffee. I don’t recommend unless you haven’t had any all day. My girl had the French drenched toast which looked decent if you haven’t a sweet tooth. Great texture with the crisp of the toast. My plate was the crab cakes Benedict. For $25 I feel like they could’ve been more packed as I could tell they didn’t use actual crab or if they did, it was sprinkled in. Overall taste was fine. Definitely a nice place if you want a simple lunch with a view. Definitely a bit pricey.

We ate here twice while staying in town. First time there was a wait, which is completely understandable. But the thing is, we waited over 20 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. Then the service just wasn't great. I'm glad we went back because despite the service the first time their food is AMAZING! We tried three of their eggs Benedict, and our favorite was the smoked salmon one! Soooo good, I can eat that everyday. The French toast was delicious! The biscuits and gravy were so good. The fish n chips were tasty. And the bacon bloody Mary is a must! And our server this time was great and awesome & accommodating for our giant patio group! Thank you

I was traveling for work and stopped here on a busy Bandon day. The picture may not look the most amazing but it was seriously the best burger I’ve ever had at a restaurant!! I was completely shocked with how good it is! Also another huge amazing thing to me is the French fries are not cooked with shellfish whatsoever!! I have a sensitivity and it’s hard to find somewhere over at the coast that is conscious about that! I ordered a lemonade they brought me this cute one too! It was well worth the wait!!

Coastal Mist is a renowned spot known for its hand-crafted artisan chocolates and desserts, all made from scratch by owners who trained in Belgium. Their menu includes delectable pastries, fresh breads, and gourmet sandwiches. The place is popular for selling out of certain items quickly, so it's best to visit early for the widest selection. Visitors rave about the drinking chocolate and the variety of flavors available.
I was in town for a day. Saw this place across the street where I was having breakfast. (Alright my kids saw it because they can sense candy from a mile away). Obviously I had to go in. There was a line inside the store and people were waiting for them to bring out the baguettes. I didn’t get one myself but the bread looked fresh and good. Staff were very friendly and helped us choose a bunch of chocolates. The chocolates were not too sweet, which I liked. Would recommend visiting the store if in town.

The highlight of our visit was the salted caramel tart. It was rich and delicious and I would come back just for that. Our brownie was good but nothing memorable or special. I got the triple vanilla cheesecake and could not have been less impressed. If they labeled it as a plain cheesecake and lowered the price I would have been pretty happy but this cheesecake didn't possess any special characteristics that would push it into a realm where I would believe any real amount of vanilla or any special vanilla went into it. Our chocolates were also disappointing especially the caramel ones which was a surprise after the tart. The caramel in their bar and chocolates is essentially colorless. While it possess a caramelized sugar flavor I'm impressed with how little color they work into it and therefore it doesn't have much depth. I don't say any of this with any intention other than providing honest feedback and to share our most honest experience. We would return but we certainly wouldn't venture into chocolates or caramels again.

Update: cold Mexican drinking chocolate with oatmilk is my favorite. They do have milk alternatives!! This place was incredible amazing chocolate. Cute shop friendly service, including friendly regular customers who had good recommendations. There are too many yummy choices, smells amazing you feel like Charley and the chocolate factory . Croissant and Danish are like heaven in your mouth the best I've ever had. Orange dark chocolate mocha was amazing, not too sweet, orange not overpowering. Best dark chocolate almonds Ive had as well, will definitely be back anytime I'm in town.

I went by recommendation of a friend and was not disappointed. I tried the Mayan Mexican mocha with apple croissant/pastry, both amazing. The mocha was well balanced - a bit of spicy with sweet and creamy. The pastry was surprisingly light and tasty. I enjoyed them at the shelter by the pier, watching fishermen throw crab catches and netting to find their catches of the day. I’m already looking forward to trying their chocolate and Mexican mocha next time!

A must stop in your visit to the quaint seaside town of Bandon. Exceptional baked goods, desserts, chocolates, and coffee. The line forms on the left side of the small shop where you will you be greeted by very kind and attentive staff. I recommend getting there early as they sell out of many things quickly! I adored the flight of hot drinking chocolates! 3 small 2 oz cups. The flight does have to be enjoyed inside the shop but everything else can be taken to-go. Not your traditional hot chocolate, however they do also sell traditional cold chocolate milk. With that, they have a huge plethora of flavors. I tried the mayan, the mexican, and the salted carmel. My favorite hands down is the Mayan. The flavor is dark chocolate and chillis I believe. I tried the pain au chocolat aka the chocolate crossiant. It was buttery flakey and just the perfect ratio of chocolate. A must try if they still have it. The danish was lovely as well. I didn't get to try their bread or baguette unfortunately but will plan for it next time I visit. They only sell bread on Friday and Saturdays. They open earlier at 10:30am do not sell their bread until noon. You can pre-order the bread on their website. Can't wait to come back thank you!

Bakery
Bandon Baking Co & Deli, a beloved establishment in Bandon since the 1970s and under the ownership of Chris and Kim Powell for two decades, is a must-visit. The bakery offers an array of delectable treats such as gigantic cinnamon rolls, cookies, croissants, bagels, pastries, and homemade granola until lunchtime.
Just a wonderful place to go for breakfast. I had Egg Mitts on the two mornings we ate there; my wife had the cinnamon rolls. They were ALL wonderful (Pro Tip: have the Egg Mitt with the Cheddar/Bacon bagel and cheese of your choice; the rest of your day will be Wonderful...just because). We also bought cookies and bagels to take home, along with a couple loaves of bread (my only disappointment was that they didn't have any whole wheat loaves available on their sales rack...but we weren't there first thing in the morning either) I really WISH I had a bakery like this five minutes from my home like I did five minutes away from my Bandon hotel....

Circling back to Bandon on a road trip, we remembered visiting this bakery when we were, unfortunately, too full to partake. On this morning, we took in a cinnamon roll and coffee. By FAR, the best coffee we had all week, not even close. And the cinnamon roll, let's just say... my primary care physician won't be happy, BUT IT WAS WORTH IT AND I'LL DO IT AGAIN DON'T JUDGE ME. Seriously, this place is a local gem, the staff is super friendly, and when (not if) we return to Bandon we will return for lunch.

Washed Ashore Gallery & Volunteer Workshop is a unique stop where you can witness intricate sculptures and art installations created from recycled ocean debris. The gallery showcases larger-than-life sculptures of marine life made entirely from plastics found on beaches, serving as a powerful reminder of the impact of plastic pollution on our oceans. Founded by Bandon artist Angela Haseltine Pozzi, this working gallery aims to raise awareness and spark conversations about ocean debris.
This gallery really gives me hope in humanity that we can be creative to find trash that humans throw in the ocean and make strong statements about it.

My husband and I were driving home from Gold beach and looking for something interesting to do on the way home and I found this place. Let me tell you this was right up our alley. If you are anywhere near this area it is a must stop, they have an indoor seafood market, a coffee shop, spices from local places and a farmers market (that day was plant starts) The main reason we stopped was to see the art work and it was beyond amazing!! All the sculptures are made out of the plastic that has been washed ashore. Just don't forget to look up.

I was very impressed by their ability and artistic vision. They utilize trash derived from the sea, all of humanities detritus, junk and cast-off's to make some really cool sculptures. Unfortunately, during the SARS-CoV-2, they were closed but the outside exhibit was still fun and reasonably well attended.

This unique art exhibit is free to visit. They take trash found all around Oregon's coast and recycle it into art. Its "sadly beautiful". There are signs for each of the pieces to raise awareness on how individual species are affected by the trash in the sea. It's all done though volunteer work and you can help them by creating pieces for their next exhibit. A great place to take kids for the interaction and education.

Such incredible art. This is art with a purpose. They take trash that has washed ashore and turn it into incredible pieces. The greeter was very friendly and informative. No charge to enter. They have a small gift shop that sells repurposed plastics. You can sign up for a volunteer workshop and become a part of the solution. Visit their website for info.

Old Town Tap & Grill (Lloyd's) is a charming spot located in the Old Town district of Bandon, nestled in a marina area just off Oregon Coast Highway 101 S. The area is easily accessible from the highway, marked by distinctive Old Town arches visible from the road. Visitors can find convenient street parking and free visitor lots nearby. The bar offers a variety of drinks, including ciders, and prides itself on its drink-focused approach.
My wife and I wanted a cider and this was the only bar in the neighborhood that could serve us one! All other bars were either closed or were cash only (who even has cash these days!?). Our cider was just perfect! We didn't order any food, so can't confirm or deny any of the other reviews that claim bad things about their food service. This is a bar in its purest form! They're clearly focused on drinks.

The bang bang shrimp 🍤 was lightly battered and the sauce was yummy. And finally the #Galbi which is Korean style short ribs was almost a meal by itself ...... great marinade and perfectly cooked rice.

I actually will never go back to this place. I felt it was dirty it was dark. The bathroom was nasty. I had a hard time getting the server to come back after I needed a few more time to decide. Listening to the bar tender, it was clear. He feels he's superior to women.. i felt that the wings were okay, but the muscles were terrible. So nothing so terrible happened. But I will not waste my time with this place again.

They boast best happy hour. But the food is weak! At best. Low vibe tourist trap.. Nanchos are old oily won tons with a mayo like dressing with maybe 5 small pieces of poke. On a Saturday so they probably get even worse. Tacos overcooked and dry. FYI Bandon brewing has amazing Tacos Wings were trash to much sauce to cover up the dryness. Beers taste fine clean lines.

Great vibe. Quick, friendly service. The order was right the first time. Great food. I had the chicken strips & fries. Chicken strips were nice and tender. Fries had good seasoning. Only thing that could have made them better was if they were a little thicker.

I went there after working all day at Cranberry Fest and then asking for food (the only food I could find open after 10) and handed the bartender a $20 she walked to the register put it in poured a beer then came back and asked for the money again. When I told her I had paid she said the person next to me gave her the $20 but didn't even acknowledge them or engage with them for confirmation just decided to say her boss was behind me like there's no chance to reconcile this miscommunication. I was polite enough to walk away because it was busy but I'm sure she made other people's night bad with her attitude.

Foley's Irish Pub in Old Town Bandon, founded by an Irishman, Lord George Bennett, offers a cozy atmosphere to enjoy a Guinness or Oregon wine. For stunning sunset views, head to the more elegant Lord Bennetts or the Crowsnest Lounge at the Wheelhouse Restaurant. If you're a wine enthusiast, don't miss happy hour at Alloro Wine Bar starting at 4:30 p.m.
I was very impressed by this Irish pub. Everyone was very nice. The bartender made me feel very at home and told me about the different kinds of eggs between Scotland and Ireland. I thought the eggs were great, just very different. The bartender did a black and tan, and the technique was perfect. I really love this experience and I highly recommend it!

I love going here it was clean, open, and bright. Our waitress was a little slow getting to us and keeping up with us. She didn't come back very often.. we went to separate times, so the pictures are from 2 different visits.. but I will say both times. The service was quite sporadic and slow. The first time is when we had the fried artichokes very delicious. The scotch eggs. I loved them they were so unusual. I had never had them before, and the horse radished sauce that they give you to dip in was delicious. My husband and I shared a bowl of the clam chowder, and it was very good. I would definitely recommend having their clam chowder. The second time we went is when my husband had the chicken Caesar salad, as you can see. It's $17.95 for a very, very small salad. He said that the chicken was unseasoned he did not like the chicken Caesar salad and said he would not have it again. I had the Philly steak pasty. I'd like to it was very good. The Crestwood was very delicate and wonderful. It was my first time trying this dish. I would have it again. So we absolutely love our first visit even though the service was quite slow. The second visit was a little different, though there was a little old man who was yelling at the servers and talking loudly. He seemed very angry he was doing it in front of the guest. I guess it is the part I did not appreciate. I feel like he may have been the owner or the manager. And the second time, we waited and waited to get our bill. Then we waited to get our change, and we did not get the correct change. We got less than what we should have gotten. We just wanted to leave, so I left it at what it was. To be fair, the second time, it was a lot busier than the first time, and I only saw 2 actual servers, so they were both very busy. One of them was the bar tender. I enjoyed going here, and this will be one of my first picks. When going to Bandon.

Argentinian restaurant
Pablo’s Corner offers a dining experience that goes beyond just delicious food. The warm welcome from the chef and hostess creates a cozy, homey atmosphere where patrons feel like family. The outdoor seating is dog-friendly and features protective bubbles for comfort. Reservations are highly recommended due to limited space. The menu includes shareable options like Argentinian empanadas with various fillings and pasta, as well as half bottles of wine.
Can’t give Pablo enough stars for our dinner. He set the menu, and the fresh empanadas, fresh pasta and his pesto were simply wonderful. The main course were the biggest porterhouse steaks I have ever seen. And not only were they big they were so tender and flavorful. Everything, including the whiskey infused ice cream, was made on the premises that day. Simply wonderful.

Through a stroke of luck, we walked up and got an outdoor, dog friendly table. The table was in a bubble which allowed us to enjoy the outdoors without being wind blown and cold. Highly recommend calling ahead to make a reservation as others who tried walking up after us were turned away. The Argentinian empanadas come with several different fillings and are shareable. Selection varies daily. We enjoyed the chicken and beef. The pasta is also shareable and you can order half bottles of wine. The table next to us ordered the porterhouse and pasta. They raved about it, and the portion was considerable. This is a fun spot with a unique menu and outdoor dining experience.

Incredible! What a wonderful date night! Intimate, private and very well done! Decor is fantastic, and service is excellent! We had the spinach pasta, and oh my goodness it was good! We split the full order, it was still more than we could both eat! The bread appetizer was incredible! I highly recommend this for a memorable date night! We will be back! Thanks Pablo!

My wife and I stopped for dinner on our road trip. We saw this restaurant had great reviews and decided to give it a shot. The food was excellent - flavorful, homemade, and filling. Pablo, the owner, was outgoing and kind. Our waitress, Betsy, was a true gem. Incredibly kind and gracious. It's a tiny spot playing fun music with a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping here if you find yourself in Bandon!

I ordered the pasta bolognese and my husband had the night’s special of seafood pesto pasta. We also got empanadas. The food was delightful. And the atmosphere is intimate and charming. Highly recommend. The staff is incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to make your dining experience comfortable.

Amazing restaurant! Environment was very cute. They played opera music. The food was to die for. Portions were generous and they don’t cheap out on meat. Server was personable and got to meet the head chef Pablo himself. Would definitely have to come back here.

What a find. There were not a lot of options in Bandon dunes but I think we found the best spot. The chef and the hostess were just so amazing. They were able to fit us in outside, even though they were fully booked up. It’s a very small space so I recommend calling prior to going to eat. The Bolognese and the seafood Alfredo are top notch. But the empanada with corn was unbelievable I could’ve just eating those. Feels like family when ur there.

I loved every course, but I was really floored by the amazing dessert and the corn empanada. The beef empanada was fantastic as well, a classic of the dish. The corn was unique, like incorporating the Midwest creamed corn with spice and pastry, but a richer flavor than just creamed corn. The pasta was great, homemade noodles designed to vacuum up sauce and they weren't stingy with the quantity. The dessert was chocolate cake cubes in rum with berries, but the cake was as rich as a brownie and worked perfectly with the fresh berries. I probably did a terrible job at describing it, just know I had reservations at the description and then it amazed me and stole the show. We didn't drink anything special - if that's your passion, maybe save it for after dinner and focus on the food while at the restaurant. Update: we went again and got the porterhouse. It was delicious and yes, has the fat on like other reviews say. That's where the flavor is at! The porterhouse came with great grilled veggies and we added the pesto, which was very good and strong on the nutty side. We ended with the frozen dessert option with the same delicious boozy cake and with ice cream. My husband preferred the frozen kind, I preferred the whipped cream cup from the prior visit. You can't go wrong, so make some room for it.

Bandon Bait is a unique establishment that combines a restaurant, bait shop, and information center, capturing the authentic charm of the old Oregon coast. Despite its small menu compared to other eateries in the area, it offers delicious seafood without long lines. Visitors can enjoy options like clam chowder and fish and chips, as well as fishing supplies. Customers praise the flavorful fish dishes and friendly service at this waterfront spot.
We stopped here for a lunch on a recent trip to Bandon. We had 5 adults and 3 kids so it was a great place to take a big group and still get quick service. The service was amazing and the guy taking orders was super helpful and accomodating with a big crew. We loved getting to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather. We tried a variety of things like the calamari, the fish and chips, fried oysters, and even chicken nuggets for 2 of the kids. The people with fish and chips said it was really good and they loved that it had very little breading so you really got to appreciate the fish. I shared calamari with one of my nieces and they were so good. Even one of the girls who does not like fish said the calamari was good. The tartar sauce was some of the best we had on the trip. We had a great experience here and can't reccomend it enough.

It was okay, nothing amazing. The fish coating seemed a little bland. The fish itself was fresh, firm and plentyfull so I shouldn't complain. The fries were very McDonald's-ish. Nice little shrimp cocktail included. The coleslaw was not bad, slightly sweet and fresh. Felt "heavy" after sharing this meal. Don't feel like I wasted my money but maybe I'm over fish and chips?😅

This is what fish and chips should taste like. Absolutely wonderful flavor and cooked right. Other items, the marinara had excellent flavors, italian ice was really good too. Thank you we will ALWAYS come here going forward when we are here for our crabbing vacations.

Food was tasty and fresh. Outdoor dining. Service was efficient and fast. I had the fish and chips. Came with coleslaw, shrimp cocktail, tartar sauce. The flavors were wonderful. Only wish I had a little more coleslaw and shrimp.

Excellent spot to grab a quick meal and some fishing tackle. Rock fish taco is fresh! Staff is totally chill and super positive! Outdoor seating available.

I've eaten here a number of times, and it has been good each time. Their fish is fresh, doesn't seem frozen, but if it was frozen, it wasn't for long. White fish tends to become more "fishy" the longer it's frozen, and their fish and chips is neither fishy, nor dry and old. I will agree with another reviewer that they could add some move flavor to their batter, but that could also mean offending people who like just the fish flavor, so probably best to leave it alone.

Had halibut fish n chips, and it was very good. I was surprised with the little shrimp cocktail made with tiny shrimp.
