Funspot is a renowned destination for family fun, holding the title of the world's largest arcade. With over 600 games, including classic arcade favorites and kiddie rides, there's something for everyone. Additionally, visitors can enjoy indoor/outdoor mini-golf, cash bingo, and a bowling center with 20 lanes. This iconic spot offers an opportunity to relive childhood memories while creating new ones in a vibrant and entertaining atmosphere.
Had an amazing experience here. David is the best 👌 I highly recommend it for travelers & and residents from close & far. Great prices 👍 It's a very historic place (lots of arcade history) Spacious place in oakhurst three floors including a mini golf, bowling, and a bar.

Had an awesome time with my family at Funspot. There are so many amazing games. I was skeptical about their claim at being the largest arcade in the world until I stepped inside. Their retro arcade room is a truly one of a kind room. Would highly recommend Funspot! Chris@ North East Ford

We were looking for a place to play inside out of the rain. Bring money or credit card. Almost Everything is self pay including mini golf. However, attendants are readily available for any issues (machines not giving tickets; screwing up bowling entries). Plenty of games and fun for all ages. Only negative there is no elevator for strollers. You have to walk outside to access each level (there are 3).
Rita E — Google review
This place is a slice out of time that's fun for everyone. I think we spent only like $60 for two of us and had lunch there (classic snack bar food), played games for hours, pinball, arcade, and ticket awarding games. I left with a new glass from the prize counter. While you can do pretty much everything with a card, bring a few dollars to donate to the arcade museum so they can continue the upkeep of hardware that is becoming more and more rare. Also bought a hoodie because they had them. This place is amazing, very chill retro vibes.
Greg B — Google review
You can’t go wrong with Funspot. The arcade has everything. Indoor Bowling and Minigolf. There is plenty of parking in the back, side and front. They have food on the “basement” level. Plenty of tables and chairs if you’re throwing a birthday party. A few bathrooms around the building. The games are fairly priced and most are in working order. It seems like the kids have fun collecting the tickets and reclaiming the prizes downstairs. While the adults have fun on the top level playing the games from the 80’s. This is a must visit if your in the lakes region. Its a 2 hour ride from Boston.
Abner B — Google review
Great place for indoor activity on a rainy day. Plan on spending money. Many games to play for tickets. Bowling and Mini Golf was great fun. The food and staff were okay.

A must stop for all families on vacation❗Kids had a blast!!! I thoroughly enjoyed some of the older games, brings back memories. LOVE THE BUBBLE HOCKEY! Hit a small jackpot also😃Mini bumper cars were awesome for kidsos!! $20 lasted us over an hour here with 2 kids...wouldve only lasted 47 seconds at Dave n Busters. Highly recommend stopping here!!! 3 floors of all sorts of new and old games, mini golf, also go karts across the street and a bingo hall nextdoor! Minutes from everything in Weirs Beach.

The American Classic Arcade Museum, located in Laconia, NH, is a haven for anyone looking to relive the golden age of gaming and beyond. With over 600 games including classic videos and pinballs like Pac Man, Frogger, Donkey Kong, The Addams Family, Cyclone, Pin Bot and Funhouse. Whether you're a dedicated gamer or just seeking some nostalgia, this arcade museum has something special for everyone.
We had such a great time. My husband and I felt like little kids. My kiddo had a blast as well. Such a great time!! There's so many options, bowling, mini golf, ski ball, air hockey, and not to mention the third floor chalk full of old school arcade games. We truly had such a great time. You get to walk in, throw some money in the machine for coins and start playing. We highly recommend.
Tiffanie C — Google review
A cool place with a great nostalgic vibe. All the vintage video games are only a quarter. Twenty dollars lasts you quite a long time. Hours of fun. There are modern games downstairs for people who prefer that. Those tend to cost more.
Incog N — Google review
Great selection of games, and you get a lot of tokens for your money, which means plenty of playtime. Every once in a while I’d have a game eat my token and not give me a play, but it was rare. I only spent an hour or two here, but I could have easily spent longer. Lots of cool information is available within displays and on the walls, so it was a cool educational experience as well. ACAM is a great thing for video game preservation.
Noah B — Google review
Cool place to visit. Had older arcade machines. Has ticket games too to get prizes. Has a huge collection of pinball machines. They have a bowling alley with candle-pin bowling & 10 pin. Candle-pin is highly recommended.

Very fun and affordable. A real trip down memory lane! Our group of 8 adults spent hours between this section and the rest of Funspot. We ended up having lunch and making a day of it. Something for everyone!
Jennifer W — Google review
Great fun. Lots of pinball machines and arcade machines from the 80s. You can play most of them. And indoor miniture golf. It's worth checking out, it's fun.
Dean S — Google review
Largest arcade in the world so you have to go. Plenty of parking and lots of games. There is something for everyone. Games run on 25 cent tokens with most games being 3 tokens. Vintage and modern pinball, video arcade games, carnival games, pin bowling and indoor mini golf.
S S — Google review
I love Funspot. I've been coming here for over 30 years. But I didn't appreciate the arcade museum until my older years. There's nothing quite like the charming simplicity and quaintness of playing an old arcade cabinet. My main issue is that Battlezone has been broken for years, or at least every time I'm there. I know it's hard to find parts and people to fix them, but it's time to bring Battlezone back to life!!

Chocolate shop

Confectionery store
Kellerhaus, located in the Weirs Beach area, is a long-standing establishment offering a variety of attractions. Visitors can explore an assortment of gifts, homemade candies, and ice cream. The shop also features antiques and souvenirs, as well as homemade gift items at New England Porch Rockers. Guests praise the friendly staff and the opportunity to create their own sundaes with a diverse selection of toppings.
Great ice cream shop. Very large inside. I got the mint chip, which was very delicious. The host was very helpful and friendly. Smile on her face. You can tell she loves to work there. There are tons of great stuff. There is so much to look at. You'll be in there for a while. Great atmosphere. Will be back

Located perfectly in the Lakes region of New Hampshire this place is awesome. Surprisingly a few bathrooms inside the whole place is clean. Of course they make chocolates to ship out across the country and there is plenty to buy from their delicious sundae bar to gifts for friends. The Sunday bar is awesome. I just fill up on pineapple sauce. There’s plenty of toys and stickers and stuffed animals for adults and kids alike plenty of parking out front and there is an area to sit in. That is covered right out front the staff is always been pretty friendly. I don’t know if it’s handicap accessible because from the vestibule you have to walk up a few steps and there might be a side entrance that I don’t know about and back down a few steps if you’re going to the candy section. Enjoy the place like so many other families have.
Abner B — Google review
This place has been on my list to go to for some time and I was thoroughly impressed. They have a wide range of candies they make in house. They make all their own ice creams with many delicious flavors. Their French toast ice cream was just to die for. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to satisfy their sweet tooth or looking for some amazing ice cream.
Chris O — Google review
Verily, I hath visited Kellerhaus not once but twice, and each sojourn hath been a delight most rare. This establishment, nestled as if by providence in the bosom of New Hampshire’s lakeside charm, doth offer confections and curiosities that stir the soul and gladden the belly. Upon my first ingress, the air was redolent with the sweet perfume of hand-dipped chocolates and freshly pressed waffle cones—a heavenly aroma, I dare say, rivalled only by ambrosia itself. The sundaes, which one may craft to one’s heart’s content at the famed buffet, are a joy unsurpassed, even by the finest of courtly banquets. Twice have I returned, and twice have I departed with sack and spirit full. The wares are not merely edible delights, but heirlooms of flavor passed through generations, each bite a whisper of yesteryear. Should thou find thyself in Weirs Beach, hie thee hence to Kellerhaus. It is no mere shop, but a temple of treats, a sanctum of sweetness, and a rare jewel in the crown of New England’s olden charm.

After Covid this place had gone downhill. The ice cream was very mediocre and I felt they were living on the novelty of the ice cream bar. My wife and I crossed them off of our list of places to go. However we gave them a try again this year and they have completely turned it around. They now have a lot of cool interesting flavors and seem much more focused on making good ice cream. I personally had the best blueberry ice cream and my wife also had some great flavors. They definitely stepped up their ice cream game and are now the best in the area IMO. Also the gift shop is quite good and the chocolates look great. I am glad we gave them another shot.

Been coming here my entire life and this is absolutely my favorite ice cream shop in the world. The sundae bar is wonderful...and the tradition of topping your ice cream with a tiny American flag still stands today. The gift shop literally has something for everyone and the homemade candy and chocolates are amazing. I go here every time I'm in the area.
Anne-Marie B — Google review
Great place! 3 sections—> Section one is an Awesome old fashioned ice cream parlor (with a make your own Sundae bar). Section two is a homemade chocolate shop (with candy too). section three is a gift shop. I can’t believe we hasn’t stopped here before — now we will go there every time we are in the area.

Beautiful Views. Crowded for Laconia 🏍️Week. I parked on back street and traffic was still pretty heavy. They do have bathrooms (minimal wait times) under the main floor.

Very cool place with lots of shops to visit. Can take a boat or train ride. Parking is limited and not free, but it turns over quickly and right out front. Bars and food places, mixed with games and shops. You could even go to the beach. Bathrooms on the beach close early, the ones near the boat were still open. We often go for a few hours.

Seafood restaurant
Lobster In The Rough, a relaxed New England establishment with a complete bar, offers various chowders, fried and grilled seafood, as well as shellfish. Unfortunately, the restaurant has experienced a decline in quality lately. Prior to the pandemic, it was a cherished spot for many patrons. However, two visits this summer (2022) revealed subpar experiences. During the first visit, the service was lacking due to new staff members since they had not been open for two summers.
We beat the lunch rush..it filled up pretty quickly after 11:30 AM on a Tuesday. The swordfish sandwich was amazing. I could barely finish...3 healthy pieces of fish on a big bun. Will definitely revisit if we find ourselves in Boston again.
Duane G — Google review
We visited this place a little while ago and it was a pretty solid seafood restaurant! I can imagine this would be the perfect spot to head to lunch when you’re out boating on the lake in summer and want to take a quick break. It’s located right in the downtown area of Weirs Beach - look for the big “Weathervane” sign, you can’t miss it! We came as a big group and still got seated quickly, serviced well, and our food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. Sometimes places take forever with big groups - not this one, so it seems they definitely are prepared for it! We got a variety of different things from the menu (I don’t have pictures of everything) including the fried whole clams, Caesar salad with grilled shrimp, clam chowder, fried fish tacos, chicken tenders, fried haddock sandwich, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and a bacon cheeseburger! as expected, the seafood was the best part, though no one was disappointed with what they got. The general consensus for us was: the Caesar salad with grilled shrimp was excellent (shrimp were fresh and had great flavor), all the friend seafood dishes were good (not the best we’ve ever had but still quite solid), chicken tenders were pretty average, mozzarella sticks were great, clam chowder was excellent, burger was pretty average as well, and onion rings were great. I don’t think you’re going to be “wowed” by anything at this restaurant, but I don’t think you’ll be disappointed by anything either - unless, perhaps, you get one of the most expensive items and expect more than what you get. I do recommend this place though! Check it out, get some fried stuff, and indulge at a classic seafood outpost that defines this region of the US!
Michael — Google review
First impressions are lasting, 3 Employees doing nothing, the upstairs where we were seated has food and debris on the floor. Asked the server to pick up the chicken tender left on the floor! The food was ok at best, adults drinking at the bar Dropping F Bombs while my young grandchildren are watching them. Food was overpriced even for a tourist Trap like Weir’s Beach! Got many things to improve upon! Will not be revisiting this place again! Shameful!
Jeffrey — Google review
My husband and I came in for lunch this morning. Even though the restaurant was busy and we were told it might be a 15-minute wait, the staff was able to seat us much sooner. We ordered the rough seafood platter, a hot lobster roll, and onion rings to start. Everything was cooked to perfection—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. There was a small miscommunication with our server, but the manager stepped in right away and handled the situation with kindness and professionalism, turning our experience into a true 10/10. We left happy, full, and already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!
Dramqtiic L — Google review
We came in for lunch and the place was absolutely empty, which the staff explained was because it’s the end of the season. They mentioned we were actually their first table of the day at 2 pm! I was surprised they’re still open! Despite that, the staff was very welcoming and friendly. The food was pricey but delicious, and everything came out quickly. (It’s seafood of course it’s pricey!) The restaurant itself was also very clean, I had seen some reviews saying it was dirty, but I honestly didn’t notice anything like that at all. There was no trash on the ground and everything was spotless! Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d happily come back. Thank you for an awesome lunch!
Sarah — Google review
I grew up in New Hampshire and this place is an embarrassment to New Hampshire. It's a very casual looking place and not that clean. (Sticky tables and glasses) It was pretty empty when we got there. We ordered two steamers and one fried clams. It said market prices so I didn't think to ask (my bad) how much these would be. I saw clams at the store for $10 a lb so how pricey could they be? Much to my surprise the fried clams were over $45 and the steamers were over $40 each! I couldn't believe it! That was the biggest ripoff of any restaurant I have been to in my life. I don't recommend this place to anyone. It's not a 5 star restaurant and it shouldn't be charging 5 star prices. Save your money folks!
Wendy B — Google review
We visited this restaurant on our first night in Laconia. When we arrived we were seated right away upstairs with a great view of the lake out the window. We sat at our table for 20 minutes and no one came to greet us. After waiting another 5 minutes I had to flag another waiter down to ask where ours was. After another 5 minutes our waitress finally showed up to take our orders, she didn't apologize or acknowledge the fact that we'd been waiting for almost 30 minutes at this point. We got an appetizer, a lobster roll, and shrimp tacos along with draft beers. The food was pretty awful in all honesty. It was all fried and wasn't tasty at all. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
Mary K — Google review
Not sure about this place. Came specifically for their signature drink, the Shrimpy Mary. They were out of Bloody Mary mix at 1 in the afternoon. Had the hot dogs, nothing special but asked for onions. I had to dice the onions myself.

We first went to try the chicken wings and came to the conclusion they have the best chicken wings in NH and have been going back ever since. The servers are all awesome. Amy, Katie. Barrett, and Riley take great care of the patrons. The selection of beers on tap is decent - would like to see more local ones that aren’t IPAs/Pilsners but that’s just our preference. The daily drink and food specials are creative and delicious. In the summer they have awesome live music. It’s a definite fun adult-friendly atmosphere.

I was looking forward to trying this place. It was super small inside, so we had to sit outside. Thank god they had fans because it was a hot day. We had wings, which were delicious, but the size of sparrow wings with a high price tag. I had a salad, which was good, and my husband had the cheeseburger wrap. He enjoyed it. He raved about the tater tops being fried in clean oil.

Rolled in from ATL for Bike Week and made the best possible decision by stopping at The Looney Bin in Laconia. Absolute staple — killer vibes, great energy, and the kind of place you don’t forget. Craft Beer Xchange, Home of the Witches Brew Pub is an ideal destination to relax and indulge in a refreshing beer and satisfying meal. Situated in the charmingly renovated historic Lawrence Manor, this picturesque establishment offers a wide selection of over 30 beers on tap to cater to different preferences. Located at 59 Doe Ave, Laconia, NH and reachable at (603) 409-9344, the pub has garnered high recommendations for its excellent ambiance and friendly staff.
We visited on a Monday night where they were hosting a weekly trivia event (7-9 pm). We had so much fun!! The staff, host, and owners were friendly and full of knowledge about various topics. We had the fig and prosciutto pizza which was so yummy, we can see why it is award-winning (great crust base!). We also had the Brat bratwurst which was all very delicious. Shout out again to the staff for creating an amazing environment that was easy-going for parties who wanted to hang out privately but also for more social groups wanting to interact and learn, I think they put a lot of care into the place and we appreciated our time there. Will hope to visit again!

We had an absolutely amazing time here ! Food, ambiance, and (most importantly) the beers were ALL phenomenal and the southwest chicken wrap was arguably the best sandwich consumed of 2025 so far. Only thing better was the service — Greg was awesome! We sat outside post a hike and the picnic tables were absolutely PERFECT for two humans and a tired dog with beautiful water views from atop the hill. Would recommend to anyone who would want a chill pop-in or long afternoon (dog-friendly) hang!

We absolutely loved this place!!! Brought a dozen ladies for a bachelorette dinner - food was fantastic and the staff were amazing. Shout out to Monique and Julie. Best veggie pizza I’ve ever had - sweet chili wings that were perfect. Great choice of beers on tap, mixed drinks and a great view! If you’re in the area definitely check this out.

Little gem we found after not getting service elsewhere closer to the lake. Super good pizza, we got the Hawaiian. Cast choices of amazing beers. The owner is the best. Come here!!!
Matt W — Google review
The food and beverages were good, but the bartender (possibly the owner - older male, was unpleasant. Complained about tourists (which we were), and complained a lot. The place is off the beaten path, which I prefer when on vacation. It is in a very pretty area, but unusual since it was so residential. When we asked about other places in this area, he made snide remark how we should stay elsewhere if that is what we were looking for when we were simply curiously asking questions. This is how one person can harm a reputation! After receiving the owner's kind response, I looked up the owners of this brewery and saw a picture. The male owner is indeed the one who was quite rude on our visit, and now I see he was rude to many visitors and not any other bartender as he claims. End of story. I don't care to get in a tit for tat - this was simply my honest experience.

T-BONES Great American Eatery is a delightful family-friendly restaurant that has been a staple in the Laconia community since 1984. Known for its extensive American menu, it offers an array of options that cater to both adults and kids alike. What sets T-BONES apart is their commitment to homemade goodness; every dish, from soups and salads to sauces and desserts, is crafted right in their own kitchen.
I don't know what else to say but would you believe everything we ate was only $50 total. I wish this place was in my state. So cheap and more than I expected. You guys have chicken wings, burgers, brownies along with mocktails that are ridiculously good. I don't understand how it can be so good and so cheap. I only came here for tourism but I will be back next time I'm in New Hampshire. Thanks to the nice young lady who served us. must try what we chose, delicious

Food was really good, our server was Great! The hostess on the other hand was not friendly, didn't smile. Seemed put out to sit us and didn't even say have a good day or thanks for eating with us when we left.

VERY impressed with this T-Bones! All aspects. Service was some of the best we've ever had at any restaurant. We sat out on the new deck on a warm summer day and there was live music! I got the pick two for $16.99 (CHEAP). 1/2 chicken parm on ciabatta, french onion soup, and homemade chips. The french onion soup wad perfect, and the chicken parm was probably the best chicken parm sandwich I've ever had. Photo doesnt lie... NO editing whatsoever on that thing.

Came in at ~8pm last night, our server was absolutely amazing, very personable and attentive, checked in on us frequently and went above and beyond. The happy hour deals are from 8-close, we were already planning on ordering things that just happened to be on the happy hour menu, because they have so many options for happy hour. The steak was the most tender, delicious steak I’ve ever tried, the complimentary bread was so soft, the drinks were so delicious and stong but not too strong. The new outdoor dining is gorgeous and vast. Tons of parking, amazing atmosphere, and they were playing some fun music from the 80s (not sure if that was on purpose or a coincidence). This has been one of my all time favorite places to eat since I was about 8, and I’m almost 27. Consistently amazing.

Great food, always a good experience at a t-bones. Sat at the bar, got loaded potato slices, and haddock to eat, plus a bourbon to wash it all down. It all tasted amazing, will definitely go back when I come back to weirs beach.

Honestly, food was really tasty! One item came out missing bacon but they fixed it and took it off the bill. Carter and Alison did an amazing job and i would 100% recommend and come back!

There is a great atmosphere. Food was ok because onion rings are too hard, wings a little too dry but chicken tenders was great they were tender.

Restaurant
The Union Diner in Gilford, NH is a must-visit restaurant with a unique setting. It opened in June 2009 and is housed in an original 1951 Worcester dining car, complete with an adjacent dining room adorned with vintage artifacts from the 1960s and 1970s. This cozy neighborhood eatery offers a welcoming hometown feel where patrons can catch up over beers and signature burgers or bring the whole family for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
I really enjoy this diner. We have visited many times, and every experience was identical. People are very friendly here. There were a lot of regulars here who obviously enjoy it! What I noticed most was the banter between waitresses and customers. You feel comfortably welcomed and certainly looked out for. There was a younger boy working there who was so polite I had to mention it. The no frills atmosphere is fine, mostly a rock music theme with framed concert tickets and posters. The staff is wonderful. There are two sections to sit in,the original “Diner”part with booths and bar, and another section that has tables and booths. When you are in Laconia NH and want a quick meal and plenty of smiles, give it a try.

Yum! We're so spoiled to have Union right down the road from our Meredith home. We need to take advantage of this amazing place more than we do, a comfort food establishment. Servers are always cheerful and you'll never have an empty coffee cup! Food is amazing, my loaded omelet even had a little corned beef hash mixed in, delicious! Union Diner and Windmill Diner (Concord), hands down the two best kept secret breakfast spots in all of NH!

Typical diner. Reliably good but not outstanding. We had monkeys pancakes and waffles. All were good but the home fries were unimpressive. I ordered crispy bacon and it was underdone. Prices were good.

Well this was the second day in a row I had breakfast here. I love the real old diner feel. Day one I got eggs Benedict. It was delicious and huge! I had hash browns for my side. Today I had the eggs Lorraine and loved it as well. Again hash browns and home made sourdough toast. The best part of today's visit was that when the waitress cleared our plates she said have a nice day, your bill has been paid. It wound up being that man next to us at the counter. He knew I had cancer and said he lost his wife to cancer years ago. I was touched by his Jester and kind words. I got teary eyes because it makes you realize there are nice people who really care. An event like this reminds me that there is so much kindness in this world. I will be paying this gesture forward. Go to this diner, it's great food and very nice staff and customers too!

I absolutely love this place , the owner is always working so hard and great to her employees. My food is always top tier, as I always get it to go and it’s just as good , great on the phone and they make it super fast. Absolutely love the amazing costumer service, you can tell the owners are loved because they have so many little gifts on display from costumer’s and that’s hard to find in this day and age. I always give my money to this place just in costumer service and the great food is the cherry on top. Just wanted to acknowledge the hard work. Keep being rockstars ❤️❤️😁

Tavern 27, located in Laconia, New Hampshire, is a charming Americana tapas restaurant and piano bar known for its cozy ambiance with exposed-wood beams and a fireplace. The establishment prides itself on serving locavore American tapas and drinks made from scratch using organic and local ingredients whenever possible. The menu is a creative blend of flavors inspired by the owner's native Louisiana cuisine, offering guests a familiar yet innovative dining experience.
Was visiting the area and stopped in here for dinner and drinks. Such a charming place. Very cozy. Not many tables but we arrived early and got a table. I got a blueberry basil blast martini that was good but didn’t taste any basil. Also got an espresso martini that was very good. Shared food that included cheeseburger soup, chicken tenders, Parmesan truffle fries and bacon Mac and cheese. All the food was great. The Mac and cheese was my favorite. Definitely recommend.

Ray, Leslie and Ryan, I had another great experience at the Tavern 27 tonight. I played a round of golf this evening and the course was in the best condition I’ve ever seen since I’ve been coming here over the past decade. Give thanks to you and all your help. I had a couple beers after with a few people that I met tonight. We had great conversation and a few laughs. The bartender was extremely cool and professional as always. The experience was as usual top notch! Whitey

Pulled up not knowing what to expect on a cold and rainy afternoon, couple of gentlemen playing a few rounds on a par 9 golf course. Great people, excellent food. The owner Ray and his wife are genuine people who truly care about what they do. We ordered from trolly 27 which is the food truck out back and we loved everything about it! Thanks for the food, the conversation and the memories! -Chef Michael and family!

Ended up here because our first choice closed earlier than expected, then waited for reservations and boy was that fortuitous and worth it. The owner seated us by the fire, each dish was exquisite and perfectly seasoned, the staff was attentive, the drinks were solid, and the piano player was the unexpected perfect touch that tied it all together. Then the bill arrived. My companion and I had been discussing what we expected the bill to be, given this was two adults not holding back, having alcohol and desert. The check was half of what he ballparked. If you are in the area and you are looking for an elevated dining experience, you must go to Tavern 27.

Love this park, plenty of play structures, clean picnic tables, very clean grounds, and a nice sandy beach area. Tables extend along the lake edge so you can sit and watch the wildlife. I've seen geese, loons, several species of duck, and babies. As well as turtles and even an otter!

The Colonial Theatre in Laconia has been revived and is now a vibrant cultural hub in the area. The beautifully restored interior and modern facilities make it a top destination for various performances and events. Visitors can immerse themselves in rich culture and entertainment, making it a premier spot for things to do in Laconia's Lakes Region. Whether enjoying classic plays like "The Christmas Carol" or modern comedy shows, guests are treated to an unforgettable experience within the stunningly renovated theater.
My 1st time inside the Colonial Theater in Laconia was tonight. We went to see the Mother of a Comedy Show, and bravely sat in the front row, center of the theater. All 3 ladies were funny and fresh, and yes, entertaining. The theater and premises as a whole, are both so beautifully restored and maintained. The staff were pleasant and helpful, without being intrusive. All and all a fun evening out in a beautiful setting.

Attended the Kirk Minihane Show (KMS) at this theatre in March 2025 and had a great experience. The staff were very nice and helpful. Sound quality was excellent, great view from the balcony second row. They ran outta hard cider but I appreciate that they had it on hand to begin with. I especially appreciate the staff for the warm reception they gave the show and its fans. Other venues have not been so welcoming.

What a magnificent theatre! It was built in 1914 as you can see in one of my photos. The building was restored about ten years ago. The seats are comfortable, and it feels like you have entered a time machine. The bathrooms are modern, and the concession stand is stocked with goodies. I'm going to sign up now to be notified of all future shows!
Tim C — Google review
We saw Celtic Thunder. Staff was very helpful even when we showed up early. The bathrooms had enough stalls in the women's bathroom to get us all through in a 20 minute intermission! I was so impressed with the flow and how easy it was to get to our seats. Only draw back is the concessions and place to purchase merchandise was along the hall to get into the venue/ seating area causing a bit of a back up if you were on that side of the hall. A roped area saying line for merchandise at each would have solved that. It would have been nice to have the merchandise area be able to sell merchandise a few minutes before 6:30 pm. We all were a captive audience while waiting. I feel it was a missed opportunity to make more sales for Celtic Thunder. Great experience overall

I brought my daughter to see the play The Christmas Carol and it was spectacular. The actors were spot on and they all did such an amazing job. The renovation really brought me back. Stepping into the theater and smelling the popcorn 🍿 was like Stepping into a time warp of my much younger days as it was a weekend staple as a teenager. If you haven't been yet you must go it's an experience like no other. Bring something warm though because it's a bit chilly or at least were I was sitting 😅.
Stacy B — Google review
I went to the theater for the first time. It is beautiful. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Parking availability is plentiful. There are restaurants in the area. Our seats were in the balcony. The view of the stage was amazing. I already have tickets for another show.

Nice little theater dating back to 1914. Beautifully restored. Small enough that most all seats on the ground level afford great views of the stage. Highly recommend, and hoping to attend future concerts here.

We decided on takeout here while staying in Laconia with our pupparoni. This location is a T-Bones and Cactus Jacks in one, so you can choose from either menu. The deck is great, but not sure if it's pet friendly. Stopped in for a delicious lunch before the Memorial Day weekend rush next week. They were obviously busy and probably a bit short staffed. The hostess was a bit stand offish about us picking up an order until we offered her a $10 tip and then her attitude was much better and helpful. The food was good. Not great this time, but still good and we enjoyed it back at the inn while watching the sunset over the water. Definitely stop in if you are in the area. 07\21\24 update; We stopped into T-bones for dinner on the deck overlooking the water. The weather was perfect. Warm with a nice breeze off the water. Seafood tacos and cocktails were absolutely perfect. Staff was great and the guy playing tunes in the corner offered up just the right vibe.

Got dipping sauce for our bread which was great..Food was all delicious. Our server was spot on- friendly, quick to fill our drinks, and had answers to our questions. Prices were not bad as well. 3 adult plates, Kids meal and dipping sauce with tax no gratuity was apprx $79.

I couldn't rate higher than a 1. When I drove up. There was a sign saying 15 min wait. I drove through the first parking lot. No spots. Drove through the 2nd lot, no spots. I parked illegally... walked past the 15 min wait sign, went into my husband, who i left out as I looking for parking, finally the hostess waited on us and told us there was a 40 min wait? With that, someone walked past is holding the 15 min wait sign....we did not wait. Went to the whisky tavern down the street instead. It was fantastic.

Dianna the server was the BEST, she was on point with service and even went as far as writing instructions for our dessert we had ordered to take home. If that isn’t the extra mile and caring for a customer I don’t know what else is besides her manors and amazing personality. My daughter who is turning 10 this 27th even said to call the manager, although Dianna might have thought it was something bad she wanted to let her know how great her employee was to us. Thank you so much Dianna and keep up the great work hope you get a break from your 6days!!! Well deserved!!! 😉🥰 Hope to see you when we come back to visit!

Food quality seems to have gone down hill. Had a chicken fajita last night. Chicken was dried out. There was only one piece of onion, and one piece of red bell pepper. There were only about four pieces of green pepper and two of them were so blackened they were not edible. The fajitas use to come out juicy and sizzling. Not any more. I asked for no refried beans and double the rice and I got the refried beans and no extra rice. They had no hostess to seat customers walking in so the chef kept coming out of the kitchen to see if there were people waiting to be seated. Maybe that had something to do with the food quality.
Marcia H — Google review
1. Service was terrible. Our “server” Trinity kept talking to other patrons while neglecting us. She forgot my request 3 times. Not sure if it was intentional or not. They charge 18% mandatory gratuity, which is absolutely outrageous. 2. Their food is memorable for the wrong reasons. My husband and I both ordered Ahi Tuna Bowls. The tuna was cooked perfectly to temp. The seasoning was terrible. The corn in the bowls had gone bad and smelled like socks. The steamed shrimp was also perfect. The calamari was average. 3. The drinks were horrendous. No fresh watermelon in the Starburst Martini as it promises. It tasted like cough syrup. This place was a waste of money. Please do not waste your time and money here to be ignored by servers with food that has gone bad while somehow also overpriced.
Nida N — Google review
Ordered drinks! About a half hour ago haven’t seen the server since! Can’t comment on the food , haven’t been able to order! Let’s see how the rest of this experience goes! No side salad unless we pay an extra $5 , apparently they need to go all the way upstairs to get a salad! It must be $2.50 trip up and $2.50 to get back down! Spinach artichoke dip would be better advertised as spinach dip with a touch of artichoke. Trying to get a second round of drinks is near impossible. Been here an hour now still no entree. So can’t comment on food quality. I better stop now before this gets any worse.

Never in my life have I had a bad experience at this place till today. I stopped by to grab a Baja blast freeze drink and the guy at the window (not naming names for the sake of their work) asked for a tip. Like seriously u want a tip for a 3.99 slushy? I've never felt more embarrassed in my life like I'm not going to say "no" that's rude on my end, but it's rude to ask for tips for something as small as that. Taco bell please do better

Called ahead and confirmed they were open. I arrived in the drive through to “we are sold out of everything. Come back in 15 minutes.” This made 0 sense as it’s 11pm…… they are going to get more food at 11pm? I think they were lying to go smoke weed out back. We didn’t even say what we wanted to order and she said “we are out of everything” literally insane

Customer service has dropped some, just past couple of weeks my modifications never made it into my bag. When I order in the app and pay (pick up in drive-thru) for extras/ modifications, just wouldn't receive any; I'd always receive the basic item as on menu. Wouldn't also get the hot sauces either.

The Soda Shoppe is a popular and well-established family-friendly restaurant known for its classic American diner fare, including all-day breakfast options. The ambiance is relaxed and nostalgic, with the choice of seating at tables or at the bar on stools. The menu offers reasonably priced meals, especially their breakfast selection that is available until mid-afternoon. The staff is friendly and cheerful, always ensuring coffee cups are never empty.
Glad I finally made it to this restaurant. My first time dining there I went with my two daughters. It is a relaxed, classic diner, family friendly atmosphere. You choose your own seat and have the choice of tables, or the bar and stool seats. The menu is reasonably priced, especially for their breakfast items which they serve until they close mid-afternoon. Today my daughter and I went, she ordered off of the lunch menu, and I the breakfast menu, plus we each got a drink and the bill was under 18 dollars. The staff is upbeat and friendly also, and if you're a coffee drinker like I am they never let your cup go empty. A great place to bring your kids, or to go and have a delicious breakfast.

Great food! Great service! Me and my kids love finding new breakfast places to try. We went on a Sunday around 10am and it was packed! The waitresses were all kind and the staff seemed to all be working as a team which was great to see as they were extremely busy. All the patrons near us remarked how good their food was. The prices were decent and very fair. Will definitely go back.

Wonderful little find for us. The Big 2x2 breakfast was outstanding! Scrambled eggs and French toast came out hot and stayed hot, bacon and sausage links were cooked perfectly, and the deep fried potatoes were seasoned nicely. Everything tasted excellent and the price was quite reasonable. Most certainly will be going back again and again. Don't miss out on this place.

On our way to Fun Spot, our family decided to stop for lunch at a local place in Laconia. It was our first time here. We were treated to a classic dinning experience. The food was great! I had the Rodeo Burger and it was cooked just the way I like it! The French Fries were awesome! I liked the fries better then the ones at a Red Robin! Amazing service and good prices. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a local dinning experience.

Usually get the big 2+2, eggs always right, can choose grill or deep fried home fries- had both and both good, toast is nothing special but hot and fresh, bacon nicely done but not very crispy, sausages tasty, French toast nice and thick. Very conscientious staff, keep things nice and clean. Covered parking garage Not handicap friendly 🙁 -1*

The food is good and it's very inexpensive! The sausage gravy here is killer. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating and even go to the trouble of allowing their customers in wheelchairs in through a ground-level back door because of the front being inaccessible. Be aware that the bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible. The only thing that would make it better would be renovations and more accessibility. Though the restaurant is kept clean, because it's an older establishment, some of the flooring is pretty beat and comes off as dingy. It's super cool and retro inside and worth checking out.

Food is great here! Whether getting breakfast lunch or dinner...great diner options...amazing breakfast menu - except the oatmeal - be prepared for the instant stuff. Lunch/ dinner is great too.... Their club sandwich is delish (I get it with burger), meatloaf is good. And on Fridays is all you can eat fish fry!!! Great at home diner feel, with food and service to match. Sometimes the waits can be a bit long, especially if there is only one server on a Friday night (even in the fall) - but good service all around.

Restaurant
Laconia Local Eatery is an upscale restaurant that offers New American cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients. Owned and operated by Chef Kevin Halligan, a Laconia resident and graduate of the New England Culinary Institute, the eatery has strong partnerships with local farms, making it the exclusive farm-to-table restaurant in the Lakes Region. The menu features a variety of options, including butternut squash poutine, crispy salmon, and beef cheek gnocchi.
I absolutely love this place. The food is fantastic, and the oyster deal is amazing even though you normally have to call ahead if you want a lot on the day with the deal. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, and the drinks are inspired. I recommend this place to my friends and family often, which really speaks to how highly I regard this eatery.

I won the Tuesday trivia question so received a $25 dollar gift card and decided to check it out for happy hour! Everything was AMAZING— we got the pesto flatbread, sliders, and smashburger. Chef Davis and his team truly did rock it, the food the service and the vibe were all there! Will definitely be back!!

All around a great experience. We arrived early (at opening) and asked for a table. They cheerfully welcomed us in (even though, as we watched later, most were asked about reservations). Enjoyed the attentive service, haddock bites, Arctic Char, beignets, bread, and more. Being new to the area, our server explained the special night, the venue across the street, and the history of the restaurant. We were not rushed at all, although watched while others ate and left on their quick schedule. Definitely would return.

I got the stuffed clam linguini and it was so sandy I couldn’t eat it. I mean just crunching an unbelievable amount of sand in between my teeth as I chewed. So gross. Not the end of the world, though. When the waitress took my plate a told her quietly about the issue so that they were aware. I didn’t ask for a discount or anything. She apologized and said she’d let the chef know. She came back a few minutes later and told me the chef wanted her to pass along that it was the breadcrumbs making it crunchy. That they’d cleaned the clams extremely well so they couldn’t have been sandy. I couldn’t believe they chose to say that to me vs. just “we’re sorry” and leave it at that. I think it’s so bizarre they would think I don’t know the difference between actual sand and breadcrumbs (??). I still give 2 stars for food as there were 2/5 people in my party that liked their dish. Overall, pretty disappointed in the experience.

I would agree this place is overrated. Cooked oysters were good, but halibut with zucchini pasta were blend. Lobster risotto same. Berry tart was not fully cooked with a raw dough. I think it’s pricey for what they offer. Have no complaints about service, and outside patio looks nice.

An absolute gem, hidden in a small town. Local, farm to table fare in an upscale, cozy environment. Every meal is amazing. Menu constantly changes based on what's seasonal and available. Chef is experimental and exciting. Cocktails are delicious, with a good beer and wine selection. Service is always top tier. It is consistently an excellent dining experience.

Delicious food, great menu and the nicest staff! They accommodated our large group and provided great service. We ordered multiple appetizers, different salads and main courses and everything was delicious. The Oklahoma Smash Burger was amazing!

Holy bad service Batman...we were in Laconia for a family matter and wanted to grab a nice dinner before heading back North. Stopped in here and were sat outside immediately only to wait 10 minutes for someone to bring us water. After another 5 minute wait our server came out so we ordered drinks apps and dinner all at once to save time. Another 25 minutes went by with no drinks delivered and were told they were out of the brand of vodka we asked for. My husband chose another brand and after another 10 minutes with no sign of the server we told them we had to leave. We were 50 minutes from home and simply could not wait anymore. Clearly some service issues considering how small the restaurant is. It's a shame, we were looking forward to trying the food after reading reviews.

With three decks, a snack bar, and beverage bar, you can enjoy stunning lake views while being catered to. Whether it's a narrated cruise on the M / S Mt. Washington or exploring various types of cruises, there's something for everyone.
We had so much fun! The food was great, live music was incredible, and the staff was beyond helpful. I want to shoutout Becky specifically, you can tell she really cares about every passenger on the cruise. She went above and beyond to make us feel supported, and made quick accommodations to make sure my 87 year old grandmother was comfortable. It made the evening very special and unforgettable.

We love the Mt. Washington boat ride. It's a nice relaxing time. Lots of views of gorgeous houses. Gift shop on shore & on boat. Bar on board with food. Depending on cruise, they have 3 diff boats. You can stop at the other stop, get off, and get back on within a time frame or just straight chill back & forth.

Had a great experience on the Mount Washington Cruise Buzz Brewfest! The tour covered major portions of Lake Winnipesaukee and the staff were friendly. It was certainly nice to sample brews and drinks while on the water as well! The views were fantastic and the ride was easy. Highly recommend!

We caught the cruise out of Wolfeboro - it was wonderful to experience Lake Winnipesaukee from the boat, which was beautiful and had 3 large levels. The staff were all super friendly. Boat and facilities were clean. Food from the galley was really good, too! Overall a great experience, would definitely do it again. Bonus: Wolfeboro was a great place to spend the afternoon!

Todays Captains Jim Morash & Smitty Smith did a fantastic job at the helm & very personable. Sky's bright blue & the water like diamonds. We can't recommend this Excursion enough. Until next time! Movie theater
Weirs Drive-In Theater is a seasonal outdoor movie theater located in Weirs Beach, New Hampshire. It features four screens showing first-run films and offers a nostalgic drive-in experience. Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day weekend, the theater provides double feature showings that begin at dusk, creating an enjoyable evening under the stars. While inclement weather may affect operations, visitors can enjoy snacks from the snack bar while watching movies from the comfort of their cars.
Support this locally owned and family run establishment. Come here for the good movies and nostalgia of better days!! Location is unbeatable in the heart of weirs beach. They also host events for Laconia bike weeek!!!!

The location is probably a three star rating, but it gets an extra star for being something we could use more of, drive in theaters. Some drive ins do everything better but for nostalgia, value, and giving the kids a cool memory Weirs fits the bill. The food offerings are typical, greasy, and that's okay. Experience watching is good, no complaints. The bathrooms? The bathrooms are the worst place on Earth so be warned.
Damian A — Google review
Don’t waste your time or money. You literally can’t see the faces on the screen. We left 15 minutes into the movie because it was that bad. Brandy at the ticket booth, instead of helping, chose to be rude and argumentative—and refused to issue a refund. I’m not about to sit through two hours of eye strain just because they don’t know how to turn up the brightness.”

The screen had all these lines on it, the visual wasn't crisp. There was also a firework show for a half hour during the movie. Absolutely insufferable. Bright flood light near the screen from lot next door doesn't help. Feel like they need to coordinate with their neighbors a bit more and smooth out their screen

The lady at the entrance was very pleasant! The facilities could definitely use upgrading, mowing, paving, screens, general updating. The ladies in the concession stand were not friendly at all.

The small park located on Lake Winnipesaukee boasts a historic stone marker carved by surveyors back in 1652. Adjacent to the picturesque Weirs Beach, this tranquil setting offers picnic facilities for visitors to enjoy. The beach itself showcases stunning vistas of the lake and surrounding mountains, although it can be crowded during summer weekends. To secure a parking space, it is advisable to arrive before 10 am.

Crystal clear lake water and sand beach were so impressive. As we went there in winter, there were nobody except my family. I remember so many people crowded(with loud music too) in summer season. I like scenic harmony of calm water with yellow, red turned autumn trees, and really worth to see.

Ahern State Park is a serene 128-acre park located along the shores of Lake Winnisquam in Laconia, NH. While not as popular as other parks in the area, it offers a range of activities and games for visitors to enjoy. The park features sandy beaches, woodland trails for hiking and biking, picnic areas, and even a beach volleyball court. It's also dog-friendly, allowing pet owners to bring their furry companions along.
Easy hike in and nice clear water at the beach. Very peaceful on a Wednesday afternoon. We haven't done the trails yet.

Nice place, trail structure is a little confusing though. Too many trails and not enough markings for them. Lots of mosquitoes and insects because of wetland areas. Was a great hike though.

Great, beautiful, & scenic area for walking, hiking, biking and swimming. The Main beach area was nice, a little bit small. But, you can go nearby to the first trail head on the right and there are many areas that branch off that have small sandy and fantastic swimming areas. I took my 2 daughters (10 & 13) and dog and we ventured a short way off the path and had our very own swimming area. The water was clean and not weedy. Note: Dogs are not allowed in the main beach swimming area. We had excellent time and picked up after ourselves and our pet. We had people to the right of us who did the same. **I hope people continue to be responsible and pick up after themselves and their pets as this was a great find to be able to have the whole family (dog included) enjoy the water on a hot day.

Tower Hill Tavern is a bi-level music venue that boasts two stages perfect for blues, rock, and country bands. In addition to the lively atmosphere, patrons can enjoy a casual American menu. The main stage is located on the second floor, while a smaller stage can be found on the first floor. For outdoor events like motorcycle gatherings, guests can revel in performances at the Sucker Punch Saloon.
Very pleasant outdoor dining. They do have indoor, as well, but it was beautiful weather, so we ate outside. Great views, as well! For dessert, definitely try the ice cream. 100% worth it!

Good place to go if you want to risk your life. My sister in law got sucker punched by an employee here, turns out they even literally call it the sucker punch saloon. If you go here, record what you can on video, so that if anything happens we can get more evidence to the police with more victims. We’ll be back with an undercover crew at some point this summer and we’ll be trying to get some videos of the employees and the other people involved to add to the police report. Word on the street is that they sucker punch people who are not regulars as some satanic type of initiation. These people are sick. These people are sad. These people are losers. The people who run this place, and the regulars who drink and do drugs here on a regular basis are morons and they are dangerous people. If you’re a normal person, you shouldn’t go here, you are putting your life at risk. If you like late night drugs and fights and white trash violence and food that gives you diarrhea, this is your place.

Me and 5 others ate here for lunch. The restaurant itself was old and run down and very dark. Our server asked us for our drinks AS WE WERE SITTING DOWN! All the drinks came in small kiddie sized cups except for the bottled water. When we looked at the prices, everybody was shocked. 16 dollars for mozzarella sticks! We were planning on everybody getting a separate meal, but we didn’t want to spend 8 million dollars on lunch. We settled on 2 $18 cheese pizzas and a Cesar salad for one of my friends. When the pizza came out, we had no plates, utensils or napkins and had to wait 5 minutes for them once we asked our server. We never got the utensils and the plates were paper. Pizza was dry and disgusting. Way too much sauce. The total came to 62 dollars. The only reason the atmosphere got 1 star is because there was a piano that we got to play. It’s safe to say that I will never coming here again and I recommend you do the same.

We come for the fried pickles which are great. I had a hot dog this time too which honestly was meh and it cost $14 which I thought was a bit steep. There was nothing special about it and the bun felt like it might have been toasted stale. I was really disappointed especiallyat that price. The pickles though were spot on and my daughter enjoyed her chicken sandwich so all was not lost! (Don't get the hot dog!)
Laurs C — Google review
We were in the area the Sat after Labor Day and needed some lunch, so looked online for some places and decided to come here because of their menu choices shown online. My wife really wanted a Rueben. When we showed up the place was dark inside and we couldn’t find anyone around. After a few minutes a young lady finally came and we sat outside, which was a nice area. She handed us menus that were VERY limited, like 10 items in total and told us they lost their liquor license. She then stood there and waited for our order. We asked about the Rueben and she stated, “no we don’t have our liquor license so this is what we have for food”. We were tempted to leave because there were like 10 very basic things on the menu but we were hungry. She never took a drink order, came back out to ask a few minutes later. We got a burger and a steak wrap. Both were meh. The burger was obviously just a frozen patty and tasted freezer burnt. The fries were pretty standard and the wrap was just a greasy mess. For how expensive these item were I would expect much better quality. We also did not receive any silverware or napkins. When we were done eating the waitress asked if we needed anything, we asked for napkins and she just brought an entire dispenser out to the table. A very bizarre experience that certainly didn’t match the reviews or the online menu. The waitress was nice enough but obviously had no experience. I’m not sure if they’re trying to be a sit down restaurant or just a window service place. Was the limited menu because of after Labor Day, or the liquor license meaning not as much business? I’m not sure but I can say I would not go back if it was the only place to eat for 100 miles.

O Steaks & Seafood is a renowned dining establishment located at the Lake Opechee Inn in Laconia, New Hampshire. It offers an elegant steakhouse experience with picturesque water views and a charming patio. The restaurant is highly regarded for its classic steakhouse dishes, creatively reimagined menu items, and delectable desserts. With over 24 wines available by the glass, it's an ideal spot for wine enthusiasts.
This place is amazing, the service was great , the atmosphere was wonderful the martinis were great but the greatest of all was the 38 oz tomahawk prime rib steak for two. By far one of the best cuts of meat that I have ever eaten . Cooked to perfection and unbelievable flavors . My wife and myself couldn't even finish half of it and both got another meal out of it. I would highly recommend if you go to do yourself a favor and order this remarkable dish . I'm still full three weeks later lol . Enjoy
Brian D — Google review
Whether you’re celebrating something big or just want a great dinner out, O Steaks & Seafood hits the mark. The atmosphere walks that perfect line between upscale and comfortable—modern without being cold, with just the right touch of New England charm. The steaks are top-tier: beautifully seared, cooked exactly to order, and full of flavor. But don’t sleep on the seafood—the scallops are buttery and tender, and the lobster mac and cheese is downright indulgent. Portion sizes are generous, and the plating is elegant without being fussy. Cocktail menu? Strong. Wine list? Thoughtfully curated. Service? Friendly, attentive, and always professional. They make you feel taken care of without hovering. Whether you’re at the bar for apps and drinks or settling in for a full multi-course meal, O always brings its A-game. Five stars for quality, consistency, and a dining experience that feels genuinely special.

We came in for a cute date night. Our server was fantastic and full of energy. We had a the shrimp and the gyoza for the apps and they were lovely, shrimp were huge (!). For the mains I had a ceaser salad with salmon and my partner had the fish special. It was all really excellent but his huge slab of fish was definitely not cooked all the way through. Same for my salmon. No seasoning as well. Overall very good but for the price it should have been perfect.

My husband and I chose this restaurant for a pre-concert date night. We sat on the patio and it was very peaceful and relaxing (the sun did get a bit intense as it set). The food was excellent and the server was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about gluten free options. A bit pricey, but worth it!

Went once to see what all the hoopla was about, not satisfied w/the entire experience! I could tell right away as soon as I sat down that the staff in this place was more concerned on judging their customers instead of trying to accommodate their customers wishes and take care of their customers. Very obvious the staff would rather gather in a corner or in the back room and chit chat regarding how challenging their life is having to work in such a sweat shop and deal with paying customers who earn good wages and can afford such meals yet in reality the staff is more concerned about their own miserable lives!
Frank G — Google review
We had such a fantastic experience at this steakhouse! The food was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and exactly how we ordered it. But what really made the evening special was our waitress, Kathy. She was warm, attentive, and had the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness. She made us feel welcomed from the moment we sat down and anticipated everything we needed without ever being intrusive. Kathy’s genuine personality and excellent service truly elevated our night. We’ll definitely be back- and we’ll be asking for Kathy!

Visited O Steaks from MA for our anniversary. We were promptly seated in a lovely booth. Our servers name was Allie, she was wonderful. The scallop special and pot sticker apps were delicious. I ordered filet mignon with lobster Oscar. My husband had shrimp scampi pesto. My filet was perfectly cooked. The lobster Oscar was an additional $21 and not worth it. The lobster amounted to the size of 2 knuckles. My husband's scampi was good, however the sauce was very thick. Fresh bread came in a little bag and was homemade and warm. Dessert was tiramasu and was yummy. All in all, a very enjoyable night. The AGM introduced himself and I noticed he was very involved in expediting, table clearing, and helping out the servers and host. This is refreshing!!! As a retired GM, I rarely see good restaurant managers anymore. It seems to be a lost art, especially table touches. He's a keeper!

C J Avery's is a charming sports bar that offers a relaxed atmosphere perfect for enjoying pitchers of beer and classic pub fare. With outdoor seating available, it’s an ideal spot to catch the game while savoring delicious dishes like crab cakes and stuffed scallops. While the ambiance is inviting with large screen TVs and a clean environment, some guests have noted that service can be hit or miss, with busy staff and occasional lapses in attention to detail.
Dropped in to have dinner and catch the Bruins game on 6/7/19. Atmosphere was good. Large screen tv's. Out door deck. Place was clean. Good service. Good menu selection. There specials looked great! Appetizer crab cakes and Entre Stuffed scallops with butternut squash qccompanied with mashed potatoes and gravy. Bread roll was fresh and warm and worth a second. Pricing was a bit expensive considering but good quality, great presentation and compliments to the cook. Kerry the bartender was very pleasant, promoted good service and was attentive to all her patrons. Good job overall.

Awesome as usual!! Edit.... unfortunately this place has gone downhill. Went about a year ago and was completely ignored at the bar for about 30 minutes. Decided to try again this past Friday to give another chance and I couldn't eat my French onion soup because it was way too salty. I was still charged for it even though I mentioned it to the waitress I couldn't eat it. Used to be one of our favorite places but we won't be returning again.

The service was really friendly, we doubted though that the ribeye was really 14 ounce. Max 10 I would say. And it wasn't really good. The baked potatoes on the other hamd were quite nice.

My girlfriend and I were recommended this by a trusted source and are sad to say we likely will not be returning here. Figuring it was going to be busy, we called a night before to try and make a reservation, but were met with a rude-sounding voice on the other end informing us they don’t. The next night, we arrived and felt somewhat ignored as a frustrated-appearing wait staff buzzed by us without acknowledging us. Other patrons were already complaining of a 45 minute wait and that kitchen staff was extremely backed up. We were finally met by a frazzled hostess who was short with us, but found us a table a few minutes later. We sat down at a freshly cleared table, but the cleaning solution didn’t smell...clean. Our waitress came over and took our promptly drink orders. While looking over the menu, we heard other patrons complaining of not having food after being there for approximately one hour. In perusing the menu, nothing appeared to stand out or offered verbiage to make the dishes seem enticing, almost to the point we walked out without food. Our waitress took our order and otherwise delivered our food in a timely manner. We ordered and received the following: a French onion soup that was more sweet than savory, potato skins that were soggy and looked thrown together, and salads that offered little more than lettuce and a couple of slices of onion. For our main course, we each ordered the $30 - 12 oz prime rib, claimed to be near famous and what we received was one of the blandest cuts of meat we’ve ever received. And for $30. It was tender, but that was about it. We couldn’t finish either. The sides are hardly worth mentioning. A house-made mashed potato and gravy that lacked any flavor profile, mushrooms that were underdone, and a butternut squash (?) that we couldn’t touch. For an additional $4. To top things off, my second beer was served in a cracked beer glass. We brought this item and our dissatisfaction about the meal to the attention of our waitress who rectified these issues by not adding the second beer and one of the prime rib dinners to our bill. If not for her understanding and working to make things right this would have been a 1-star review. The place labels itself as a sports bar, but with sports bars a dime-a-dozen, CJ Avery’s doesn’t offer anything to really stand out in the market. The flow of the floor space is weird, carpets are worn, the walls are dated, and the decor is thrown together. Overall, the place felt dirty and unappetizing as soon as we walked in.

Haven’t been here for 2 years. Very different now. Saturday night at 7 pm and they’re out of prime rib. I ordered the seafood combo and was told they’re out of scallops also. I asked to have a little swordfish in lieu of the scallops. The waitress said we can’t substitute. The place was very empty, I would think they would want to make their few patrons happy. Also the squash came out luke warm. On a good note the stuffed shrimp and haddock were very tasty. Unfortunately, probably won’t be returning too soon.

Got recommendations from a local that steak was good and the prices were better than other steak houses. We all had the ribeye, portions were great, but my steak didn't have much taste, the rolls were delicious, clam chowder was great and the french onion soup was yummy. It was pricey. Probably wouldn't go back.
L J — Google review
We were in the area and wanted to try something different. Our waitress was nice. It took 1/2 hour to get our appetizer and it took over an hour to get our entrees. Other people coming in after us got served their meals before us. The food was good once we got it, but definitely not worth $90 for the 3 of us. First and Last time!

The setting, the food, and the personal are great and hard to beat. The managements attention to detail is very very poor. Do expect that your server will be overly busy and. Do not expect a clean table when you are waiting to be seated. Do not expect anyone at the host station. Do not expect ice water. Do not expect any type of bread or rolls. Do not expect The waitress to know anything about alcoholic drinks. Do not expect the waitress to completely know the wine menu. Do not expect the waitress to know the complete food menu. Do not expect any garnish or any condiment that would accent your meals without asking and waiting. something as simple as a wedge of lemon with you seafood. "back in the day" waitstaff would be called into the kitchen and told to never let that happen again, any of the items I listed. If I was the owner of this eatery I would be embarrassed! unfortunately with the new labor and pay laws that are being implemented around the country do not expect the dinning and eatery industry to improve but rather decline over the next couple years or so. Maybe just maybe owners will be forced to involve themselves in the day to day operations of kitchen and waitstaff management in order to cut the cost of new government mandated pay scales for service and hospitality personnel and once again get involved as an owner, as a server, as a food prep, to make sure their customers are pleased and happy and that they are directly involved in the outcome of their bottom line, if they don't they will fail. I give 4 stars only in relation to the food itself, and to the waitresses personality, not including her training or knowledge. 1 star to attention to detail from wait staff 1 star to attention to detail from the owner/ manager 1 star to place setting 1 star to wait time 1 star to complementary accents to meals Unfortunately it is a way, way over priced diner with lots of TVs and should not be classified as an eatery., How many lemon wedges, spiced apple rings, pickled beets, orange slices, olive in a drink lime with a Corona could be bought for the price of a 90" TV? attention to detail would turn this dinner into a great restaurant and would be worthy of the outlandish pricing. Its the little things and the lack of detail that add up to huge disappointments KUDOS to the kitchen! awesome food and thanks for not using the heat lamps while waiting for wait staff to pick up! Timing and adjusting flow in the kitchen is the only thing that saved the night.

Seafood restaurant
Nestled by the serene waters of Tilton, Lobster Connection is a seafood haven that beckons to all lovers of fresh flavors. This charming eatery offers an inviting outdoor seating area where you can soak up the lakeside ambiance while indulging in their delectable lobster rolls and perfectly seasoned crab cakes. The experience here is truly delightful, as patrons rave about the melt-in-your-mouth lobster paired with a buttery bun that enhances its freshness.
The food is really fresh and the staff was very friendly. I had a scallop dinner, which came with fries and coleslaw, it was very good.

It's ok as a roadside food stand catering to tourists. Looks like it's in transition between that, a seafood market, and a regular restaurant. Unfortunately, it currently embodies the less desirable qualities of those places. Specifically, like a restaurant, the food takes too long to prepare. Like a food stand, the menu is very limited and the taste is bland. It is priced like a tourist spot: expensive. So, unless you're a tourist, I would skip the place.
Marcha T — Google review
If you’re ever wandering around the Lakes Region and your lobster radar starts pinging, do yourself a favor: detour to Lobster Connection in Tilton. My wife and I hit this joint recently and headed onwards full, happy, and already scheming our next visit. Both of us ordered lobster rolls, and wow—these were not your run-of-the-mill rolls. Big chunks of sweet lobster, a bun that held up without turning into mush, and enough “lobstery goodness” that each bite made us grin. Lobster Connection delivers: great lobster rolls, excellent coleslaw, a friendly atmosphere, and enough charm to make the splurge feel worth it. If you like lobster, you’ll be very happy. If I could suggest anything? Go there hungry, maybe with expectations set for a laid-back yet delicious meal rather than fancy dining.

While the lobster dinner was a bit of a sticker shock, it was wonderful. They think of everything from bibs to wet wipes. Be aware if you want to stay and eat there are only picnic tables (some in shades/awning and others in more sunshine) staff was friendly and helpful

The food is great, they have a whole lot of live lobsters and crabs so the seafood is fresh. No seating area inside, but there are some chairs and tables out with a partial view of the lake.

Tourist price gouging at its finest. $32 for a lobster roll with not a lot of meat plus a credit card fee of 3%. Lobster roll was pretty tasty but won't be coming back again.

While they are famous for their lobster, we had the fried haddock and is absolutely amazing. Melt in your mouth good.

Lobster Connection is a family tradition and kind of a riot to go to. It's also amazing and crazy fresh ingredients. My father is known to the owner and operator as Mr. Haddock Sandwich -- as this is the only thing he orders. I recommend the lobster roll. The fries are also "classic good", perfectly done every time. Last time I was there the owner got psyched to see an off-road vehicle parked in his driveway and proceeded to show me photos of his own classic off-road vehicle build, guy is a character and really fun, adds to the experience. Atmosphere is classic Lake Winnisquam outdoor seating, summer traffic included.

Bed & breakfast
The Lake House at Ferry Point Inn is a serene lakefront B&B offering elegant rooms and a suite. Guests can enjoy the beach, borrow kayaks, and relax in the garden. The innkeepers are passionate about recommending local restaurants to support the community. Visitors praise the clean, cozy rooms with beautiful views of Lake Winnisquam and access to paddle boards and kayaks. The welcoming staff provides excellent breakfasts and helpful suggestions for nearby dining, breweries, and hiking spots.
The Lake House was a great place to stay! The location is convenient to Meredith, Laconia, and the lakes. The downtown area of Sanbornton is less than 5 minutes away, but you feel like you’re in a different world. The inn is super cute and the owner/host was amazing! You can tell that this place is her passion and the property reflects that. Our room (#2) had a fantastic lake view and the bed was very comfy. The whole place was impeccably clean. They have a gazebo and Adirondack chairs on the lake that are the perfect spot to relax and have a couple of drinks after a day of exploring.

I wanted to share my recent experience at the Lake House at Ferry Point, which was nothing short of magical. This was my second stay at this charming inn, and it only reaffirmed my love for it. My first visit was during the dead of winter, and the sight of the warm welcome stone fireplace was truly a sight for sore eyes. The ambiance of the Lake House at Ferry Point is simply unparalleled! Pam and Al, the wonderful hosts, couldn’t have been more hospitable. Their calm and loving nature made me feel like part of their family the moment I walked through the door. It truly felt like I was stepping into a Hallmark movie. My second visit was just this past weekend, and witnessing the transformation of the scenery from winter to summer was truly remarkable. The gazebo along the waterfront, with the gentle sound of the water brushing up against the rocks, was absolutely relaxing and rejuvenating. The flowers, that blanket the grounds are all breathtakingly beautiful. The attention to detail at the inn, in every nook and cranny, clearly shows how much love Pam and Al have for their Inn. Pam was kind enough to give us a personal tour of the entire property, and each guest room we saw had its own unique style and feel. The entire Inn was spotless, and the meticulous care given to every detail was evident in every way. I can't wait for my next visit to the Lake House at Ferry Point. If you haven't been there yet, I highly recommend it for a truly memorable and enchanting experience.

This was our first visit to the Lake House, in celebration of my husband's birthday. It was a beautiful, peaceful and enchanting place to stay. We have stayed at various B & B's throughout our years together and the Lake House is our personal favorite! Pam was readily available to share a little history about the Lake House, make recommendations for local activities and dining options as well as ensuring our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay. Al is an excellent cook! Each and every breakfast was outstanding! Our room was quite possibly the cleanest room we've ever stayed in! Thank you Alyson for your conscientious detail to housekeeping at the Lake House! Overall, we loved staying at the Lake House! We'd highly recommend it to others who are looking to experience the beauty of New Hampshire's Lake Region in a scenic and comfortable setting. We look forward to our next visit!

My wife and I stayed at the lake house recently for a bachelor/bachelorette party and everything was amazing. Everything was extremely clean and tidy. Lots of history of the building displayed around the house which was very cool to see. Breakfast was awesome! The owners made sure all the guests had everything we needed. Location is fantastic with amazing views of lake winnisquam. Would recommend to anyone to stay here.

This place is a gem! This Inn is the most charming little spot! I loved my stay here, the Inn keepers made me feel at home. The bed was EXTREMELY comfortable. The room was spacious and impeccably clean with a beautiful view of the Lake - what a wonderful way to wake up! Each room has it's own private bathroom with body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided in a dispenser. There is a shared refrigerator available to guests, perfect to be able to store some leftovers from a night out. A delicious breakfast was provided in the morning as well as coffee, tea and cookies available throughout the day. In the main rooms, there are many books and game boards available to all. Pam and Al were the BEST hosts for my time away - I can't thank you enough for your all of your very caring touches to my room, the Inn itself and what you provided to me personally. Parking available on site and close to Tanger Outlets for shopping.

We recently spent 3 nights at the Lake House at Ferry Point and thoroughly enjoyed it. The room we stayed in, #1, which was on the 1st floor, was wonderful. The remaining rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floor. There is a common refrigerator on the 2nd floor. The common room had comforatable seating and a full wall bookcase containg books, puzzles and games. The common room also has a large screen TV. The dining room is off the main entrance with seating for the provided daily breakfast. Coffee and Tea is available along with the nightly cookie selection in the dining room. The three breakfasts we enjoyed were varied and delicious. The front of the house has a covered porch that extends the length of the house with varied options for seating. Just across the lake were adirondack chairs and a gazebo for sitting to read or just relax looking out at the lake. The lake entrance has a small beach. The bottom is rocky so water shoes are recommended. Once out in deeper water the lake is great for swimming with limited boat traffic. Kayaks are available for use along with life jackets after signing the provided waiver. There are many local restaurants within a short drive. The innkeeper and her husband, Paw and Al, were wonderful and were always asking if we needed anything to make our stay more enjoyable. We can't wait to return next year for a longer stay. This B&B would make a great fall getraway spot.

My husband and I stayed there over the Memorial Day weekend. Everything was awesome from the amazing breakfasts' to the Crystal Lake room with phenomenal views of the sunrise right from the cozy, comfortable bed! What a precious family who serve others so well, and care about the littlest details! Cleanliness was top notch which also added a great feeling! We recommended this place to all our family; it's truly a remarkable, memorable experience! The porch and gazebo are such great places to sit and reflect, pray or just bask in all the surrounding beauty... We can't wait to visit The Lake House at Ferry Point again! Well needed peace and serenity is definitely found there! Steve & Diann

Good family event. Good prices. Fun times. Bright our son here as his first show, not knowing how he would react having Autism. He had the BEST time. Went prepared with ear protective for him. The show was spectacular. Justin and Ryan have fun doing what they do, and it shows. Highly recommend.

What a blast we had during the Recycled Precision show here. There is ample parking (free) and the event was nothing less than spectacular. When you walk in there is a ship of merchandise as well as food and drinks (for all ages) for sale. The employees were as kind as can be, there was minimum chaos;). The building walls were intentionally marked with hand writing from past guests, the positive vibes flowing through the building kept everything perfect. After the show the whole band was down in the lobby to meet, greet and say thank you to the patrons. My only low point was the bartender would not sign my hoodie.😂

Had … a … blast! Super friendly folks. Let me ‘splain. Had dinner across the street and saw kids going in for an early trick or treat. Before that, we had heard about the church-turned-theater and thought we’d take a look. After dinner we walked over and said we wanted to see this conversion. The folks at the door and inside were super friendly, explaining the shows, the history, etc. They asked how long we’d be in town. One day. There’s a show tomorrow night with Recycled Percussion. We weren’t sure we’d make it so took a chance and didn’t buy tickets. Made it back 45 minutes before the show and they had a few empty seats - seriously. The place was packed with adults young and old … and kids!! What a fun venue and super concert. Bar downstairs and up with snacks. Concession area. Balcony seating, as well as floor. In all - a great time.

Hector's is a reliable dining option in downtown Laconia, offering a pleasant atmosphere and attentive service. The menu features a variety of delectable dishes, including corn chowder, Caesar salad, Italian wedding soup, fish and chips with accompanying sweet potato fries. In addition to the delicious food options, patrons can also enjoy a selection of wine and beer. Located in a renovated mill building near the river, Hector's exudes a clean and modern ambiance.
We tried this place out because it was within walking distance of our hotel, and the theater we were going to. We weren’t sure if we going to get something to eat or just have drinks so we sat in the bar area. Very cozy and clean. I order a peppermint martini and it was so good I had to have two, tasted just like a Girl Scout thin mint cookie! Eventually we did decide on something small to eat before the show. Coconut shrimp was amazing and my husband said his chicken caesar wrap was delicious we split a house salad and the veggies were fresh and crisp. I would definitely go back if we are in the area again

A little Thurs night dinner at Hector's in Laconia. Warning!! If using Google maps to find this place, it is a logistical disaster. Restaurant is located in an area with a lot of one-way streets. The building is also surrounded with do not enter signs from 2 of the 3 access points. Once we got in the waiter was friendly and attentive. We were in the mood for pasta. Started with a Diet Coke and lime. Wife had a Summertime Sangria. It was refreshing! Ordered Chicken Scallopini, better half ordered Shrimp Mediterranean. Scallopini was tender and juicy with a light lemon sauce. Served over spaghetti. It tasted good not the best or worst I ever had. Shrimp Mediterranean tasted good. Shrimp were a little rubbery. Finished off with dessert, we ordered mud pie . Consisted of coffee ice cream w chocolate chips inside a chocolate pie crust. Dollup of whipped cream on the side. Good not great had better store bought. Overall okay. Our Waiter was very good.

I’ve passed by on my way home a thousand times, and finally decided to stop. There was a review that said “google maps can’t find the place because of all the one way streets” , I did not have that problem. I sat outside on a beautiful Friday evening in late July. I didn’t have a reservation, but I got right in. The patio was super cute with lots of seating. I started with a rum punch, which was a steak at $9.25, and a beet salad special, $14.99. The salad came with a fat free raspberry vinaigrette which was slightly too sweet. My entree was a chicken cordon bleu sandwich with fries for $15.49. It wasn’t bad, it just needed some salt or maybe some sauce. Service was excellent, and three rum punches later, I was ready to pay my bill. I will definitely be going back.

Came in on a Friday night, place was packed. We were seated near the bar and our waitress was spread thin taking care of all the tables. Service was so slow and our order came out wrong. They comped the meal and brought out the one we ordered, thank you for that. But overall, food was very disappointing. Caesar salad was wilty and lacked croutons and shaved parm, salmon was tiny and dry. Burger was way overcooked and quite burnt. Weirdest thing was our server kept bringing us refills of our drinks, so speedy we didn't have a chance to order anything different or say something. Turns out it was 3 $ each refill and we never asked for any refills. Ww ended up spending 12$ on soda, even though we never asked for more. Maybe it was a bad night but wow, you need more staff or better quality control.

Another in our group also said his pasta dish was warm at best but did not want to return and wait for his dinner.

This place is average. Nothing really to write home about. Service was a little slow. Thanks to the interesting layout, sounds echoed throughout the dining room so you can't really have a conversation without broadcasting it to the entire restaurant. Menu didn't really excite me and the food itself was rather boring and didn't seem fresh.

Rude waitress....no patience when ordering drinks.....and then left us for one hour without taking our orders. We complained to the hostess and she sent over a waitress in training...who did an awesome job. The food was nothing to rave about, the appetizer was cold, my haddock was hard and dry and the whole experience left the four of us disappointed and vowing to never return. Gave it another chance but it was a mistake that we won't make again!!!

We love The Escape Room Experience! The rooms are designed such that you can take a linear or diverse problem solving approach. We will likely be back to take on Camp Winnipesaukee -- well all of the women in the family are willing to hold my hand if there are any scary parts. Great room master as well! The whole experience was set up very well, the room was very emersive, and the puzzles were very unique and tons of fun! We had the most amazing time in the the “Swan Song” room! We’re a family of four (with kids 9 and 5) and there was something for everyone. The owner was so nice and gave us hints when we needed them. We want to come back tomorrow. Definitely don’t miss this!

It was my daughter's sweet 16 birthday and not much you can do with whats going on today. She had a few girls and her brother and myself. We stayed in a hotel and decided to try an escape room. None of us had ever experienced an escape room. Let me tell you it was the an awesome time. It made then work together. At the end when we completed the task it was amazing to see and feel the excitement from everyone! I highly recommend.

I was part of large group that did two rooms. When booking the owner was extremely helpful in making sure we didn't have too many people in one room. When we arrived the check in process was fast and fun. Everyone had a wonderful time, and would highly recommend, either as a large group or a small one! I participated in the crime scene room, and while it was tough the hints kept us moving while making it not too frustrating. I look forward to going back!

If you're on the hunt for one-of-a-kind finds, the Laconia Antique Center is an essential stop during your visit to Laconia, NH. Spanning a vast 22,000 square feet and featuring over 150 dealers, this treasure trove offers everything from handmade crafts and collectibles to rare antiques that can add character to any home. As you wander through its two levels filled with aisles of merchandise, you'll likely stumble upon nostalgic items that evoke fond memories.
A blast from the past! I remembered so many items from my past while I was browsing through this huge store! Two levels, multiple isles of merchandise and an old fashioned lunch service counter that I use to see in Woolworths or Bradley's. I think 🤔this store became an attraction 🧲 during the Laconia Pumpkin Festival. Upstairs has sections devoted to 🪑 chairs and 🚂🚆 trains. Model train sets are set up and you can buy model train supplies as well. It was fascinating to see 🙈. Toys, books 📚, furniture, antiques, coins, comic books, action figures and many more items to find here! Two of the staff members were friendly but the woman at the check out counter scowled at me. I want to deduct a star ⭐ for that but I had a great time browsing. I found a book 📖 in excellent condition that was less $ than ordering it online. Like Douglas MacArthur, I shall return!

Huge store with so much to look at! Tons of old books, records, China, trains... it's a place you should expect to spend at least an hour in. I even found a 1912 book on the telephone, complete with diagrams

Antiques galore and good prices. Need a rocking chair? I can’t believe all the chairs upstairs. Found fiesta wear, tea pots, movie posters and so much more. If you are a coin collector visit here for a great selection. Hope my pictures help you see how much they have! 4stars only because it was freezing inside.

My first experience at Burrito Me was enjoyable. The service was exceptional, particularly the self-ordering kiosk. The only issue I had was that the burrito could have used more salt, and unfortunately, there were no additional salt options available. Despite this minor setback, I would definitely consider visiting again. The menu offers a variety of options, including the big burrito with extra steak for $12, which is served alongside an Arizona can.
Hadn't had a burrito in ages and stumbled on this place leaving city hall. Great lil spot with friendly counter gal. Wish they had fountain soda but burrito was super tasty most notably the spicy sour cream I have never heard of. Def fiending to go back this week. Reasonably priced $10 for basic chix burrito
Mike M — Google review
food is amazing but the portion sizing is awful. it's a hit or miss on if your burrito will be stuffed full, or way too small. you order extra filling? too bad, because half the employees won't put the extra filling or any of the extra toppings. they should have a standard portion size used in every order by every employee, not just whatever the employees feel like putting that day. that being said, i do genuinely enjoy the food and atmosphere, so if they can fix the issue with their portion sizes they'd go back to being as good as they used to be.
Kenna L — Google review
Haven't been here in awhile, apparently things have changed, for the worse. You use a kiosk to order if you have a credit card and the girl behind the counter watches you, with noone else there. We ordered things that were options on the kiosk, Saturday night, and were told they had to check if they had ground beef? Burritos? What... then several other items that were options on the kiosk were only available on another day? What? You stand there, watch me, nothing states its on certain days! 5 item for our 2 all American big Burritos were unavailable! And after crossing them off, she says dont worry I wont charge you extra? What?? We weren't getting extra, we got less. I dont think they have cheese. White rice? Hmmm i paid $2 extra for guacamole, I think there was one squirt in the Burrito, thanks but this was a side EXTRA. I was so disappointed with the lack of customer service/appreciation. The kiosk also that only takes credit cards, I had to punch in all my information # etc....again while she stood behind me watching. Only to have her grab our slip to have to check what we could have. We wont be back, the saltiness of the Burritos was so much! From what? I dont know, there was hardly anything in my Burritos. I dont know what happened to this place but, Wow!!! $26 for 2 Burritos half filled at best, and only part of what we wanted. If you are out of ingredients POST IT. If you only serve certain items on certain days POST IT. But the 1st item in the kiosk was the all American big Burrito, at Burrito me??? Unable to make a burrito? Shaking my head.
Kathleen W — Google review
Very disappointing experience. We used to love eating here, but tonight changed that. I ordered a Big Burrito Bowl and paid for multiple add ins that were not there. The portion size was anything but large, leaving me looking for more to eat at home. To top it off, the food was cold even though we picked it up right on time. Based on other reviews I am reading, the owners do not care as they don’t seem to be making any changes. We won’t be going back.
Larry P — Google review
I've gone here before they redid the bathrooms and the owner was working the counter. Food was great, bathrooms were not so great. Then they redid the bathrooms and the staff was on point with the freshness availability and quality of food. After that I went a couple weeks ago the bathrooms were obviously virtually unchanged but you could tell that they were lacking cleaning and upkeep. In the sense of wiping and scrubbing the surfaces down. The trash and im assuming any spills were kept up with. I just remembered every other time visiting no one made the opportunity to fill the soap. Not a huge deal just kinda sucks when you work construction go to the bathroom and can't wash your hands before eating a burrito. Also the last visit they didn't have the salsa I added on the screen. As well as my stomache was messed up for days after that visit. Conclusion I cannot assume that the stomache issue was from the food, without considering other sources. The bathroom is a privilege and its not unusable. Just think this place could be 5 stars A++ if they just put a little more effort into the cleanliness and stock of ingredients. I would recommend it. At the moment I wouldn't always expect consistency
Christopher B — Google review
Used to be awesome, but walked in and was asked if paying cash. If not I was told if using a card to order at kiosk. Then proceeded to wait a half an hour kinda like if we ordered online. So if I paid cash could I order like normal? Going down the line and pick my fillings like normal and skip all the online orders? Like what a strange business model.
Steve Y — Google review
I've only been the one time so far and learned you will definitely want to pre-order. Digital kiosks right when you walk in to order everything. Decent food and options but not the best flavor for me. Will possibly try again and update post as warranted.

I’ve been here twice now. Once was over the summer and there was a lovely woman who waited on me and made my food and it was amazing and she was terrific. Then I went back the other day, she is no longer there and the food I got this time wasn’t nearly as good.

El Jimador is a casual Mexican restaurant located in a strip mall, offering a variety of South-of-the-Border standards, including a kids' menu and lunch specials. The eatery is known for its authentic and flavorful Mexican cuisine, with sizzling platters and festive margaritas. Visitors praise the lively and cheery atmosphere, along with the great service. The menu features a nice selection of options, with standout dishes like the well-done mole sauce.
The best Mexican food and margaritas I've had. The birria tacos were amazing. I also got the Chile Verde and the pork was so tender and flavorful. I also got the Camarones El Diablo and it was amazing. Even the simple hard shell ground beef taco was top notch. The Mexican potatoes were unbelievably good....best pineapple jalapeno margaritas....the service was awesome. We sat at the bar each time and the bartender was awesome! We were up here on vacation for the long weekend and we have been there three times! I wish I took more pics but I was too busy stuffing my face! Chips and salsa were also delicious! I highly recommend this place!

Our favorite place for a birria taco! Service is always wonderful, the drinks are reasonably priced and delicious. The starter chips & salsa are fresh. Great spot!

I don't know how they only have 4.5. This is the most consistent Mexican in the Lakes Region. I have never walked out of there thinking they must have had a new cook or something like that. It's pretty much the same menu you'll see everywhere and they do it well. Staff is friendly, food comes out fast, hot and tasty. It's 5 stars all-day every day. Oh and the El Molcajete can feed 2 people for 2 days. My wife and I come for the big margaritas, stay for the food!

Visited on Cinco de Mayo. Fantastic experience! A little bit of a wait as it was very busy, so I got a drink from the bar. I couldn’t believe how quickly we were served and bartender was very friendly. Atmosphere was fun and upbeat, good music and free gifts were handed out (t shirts, coozies, etc) when we sat down we were immediately greeted with chips and salsa. Our server was Jordan, and let me tell you he provided the best service I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Knowledgeable about the menu and patient. We got a Mocahete- it was hands down the best one I’ve ever had. Came out steaming, quite an experience! It’s my go to dish at restaurants because it’s essentially a bit of everything. I also got a spicy watermelon margarita- phenomenal. Overall my fiance and I both agreed it was one of our best restaurant experiences and hands down the best Cinco de Mayo we ever had! Thank you to every member of the staff, the food came out quick and everyone was genuinely friendly!

Our first time here blew us out of the water. The service was incredible. Huge menu and plenty of options for both food and drinks. Prices were great and couldn't not find one thing to complain about. We got the appetizer sampler along with 2 grilled chicken salads. Can't wait to go back and try other options they have. Chicken wings were some of the best we have ever had and the other sampler options were amazing. Highly reccoment if your in the area.

We went for lunch on Saturday. Happy hour starts at 2pm, drafts and margaritas are priced decently already but that was a plus. We sat at the bar, the bartender was super friendly, smiling and actually singing quietly to the music. To me that energy was perfect for a dreary day. He offered prompt service and the food runner brought the food quickly. They had a lunch menu on Saturday!!! The portions are huge. We got the select 3combo, tamale, tostada and burrito came with beans and Spanish rice, 2 of us were beyond full by sharing the amazing food. I had a strawberry house margarita and my partner had a mixed drink, both of them were perfectly made. We'll be back.

Travellers, this is a wonderful Mexican restaurant that has a lively, cheery atmosphere and great service with a smile. And the food was great too. The menu has a nice selection of options from which to choose. Everything was delicious but the mole sauce is special and well done. There is a nice drink menu too. This is a nice place for a large gathering or a party and there is plenty of room to accommodate large groups too. It doesn’t seem to be a problem at all. Check it out. We recommend. TLDR- great Mexican worth the stop
Lisa D — Google review
The drinks here on a phenomenal. The bartender‘s nose, his tequilas and margaritas like a true professional. If you have any inkling on what you want, he can talk something for you. One thing that I rate all Mexican restaurants on are their chips and salsa, and El Jimador does not disappoint. The food is delicious and not overpriced like many places in the lakes region part of New Hampshire. While it may look like a hole in the wall in a middle of a strip mall, I encourage everybody driving to one of the large lakes to stop here and get a bite to eat. You will not be disappointed.

Just trying local food in the area, Lanna Thai is looking like my new go-to place in town I ordered a Sunshine Roll and the smoked salmon hit just the spot, ingredients were fresh and the meal itself was packed beautifully Belle was at the counter, she is so sweet and considerate, she made sure I had all my sauces and utensils before I left Looking forward to coming back soon! Thank you Lanna Thai

Always very fresh and flavorful. They were very accommodating of a gluten allergy in our order and even called back to ask about using the fryer vs steaming (to clarify if cross-contamination was a concern).

This food had all been cooked several days prior and hardly heated up for service. The chicken was dry and old and the rice was soggy and old. No fresh vegetables and the tempura was from a box heated in an oven. The dept of health should remove their permit due to false advertising. Awful and a tip off.

I was in the area for a bike meet and needed a lunch spot. What a great choice. Small place big menu. I had an order of tepanyaki one of the best I've had. Teriyaki crispy duck with white rice. Looking forward to a ride in the area again.

This place is amazing. I always go here but have never done a review until now. I have nothing but good things to say about this. I have tried the Pad Thai, the pad see ew, the pad woonsen, the spring rolls, the summer rolls, the phò soup, the miso soup, the crispy wontons, the drunken noodles and the noodle dish with duck in it and I have yet to find a dish that isn't amazing. The owner works very hard to make sure that you are happy and this place is very clean out on the floor and in the kitchen, which is better than every other foreign restaurant in this area (I will not name any names on this review!) I would give more reviews on other dishes served here, but it's hard to try other dishes when I keep getting stuck on my favorite ones so far which has been what I have listed above! I plan on trying most everything on this menu. Wonderful service.

I love it here! So many options to make crafts, even if you aren’t “crafty” (and trust me, I’m not). Use the pottery wheel, blow glass, paint a canvas- all on your own OR in an organized group setting. This is my favorite way because you get step by step instructions. Sal's is known for its amazing pizza, which attracts customers who love their fantastic selection of menu items.
Overall good experience. I was alone in my power wheelchair but did have an issue trying to get into the building. There was a lip on the front entrance door to tall to go over forward with my chair alone. luckily someone held the door while i backed up over it, and with the bigger wheelchair tires i was able to get into the building with a bit of struggle. It would be helpful if there was a taper to the lip so the tires would roll up over the thresh-hold.

Got a pizza a couple of months ago and was it was not very good. Figured maybe it was just a bad day. Got one today and extremely disappointed. It was only a medium pizza with extra cheese and there was hardly any cheese on it. Maybe that’s what extra cheese is for them but now it’s 2 times in a row. Very chincey!! I have been buying pizza from Sal’s for over 30 years and will not be buying it again.

I love their pizza, however recently got a steak and cheese sub from here and I've never seen meat look so strange in my life. It was also really overseasoned and salty, rubbery, and fatty. These photos are "steak".

They opened the doors for me even after they had closed to sell me some of the best cupcakes I’ve ever had. I enjoyed the raspberry champagne cupcake a couple nights ago along with some awesome pizza, and I knew I’d have to come back for more!!! What I didn’t know is that I’d arrive yesterday a few mins past their closing time, about to accept defeat and return to my vehicle the manager opened the door and invited me in and graciously allowed me to purchase a few cupcakes. I was told the name of the company that makes them, but it eludes me at the moment….. If anyone happens to know The name of the company who created these heavenly concoctions, please comment on this post so proper credit can be paid. Outstanding customer service and a phenomenal product, A+++ to both Sal‘s pizza of Laconia and their mystery baker!

This was our first time in and we loved it! We had wonderful conversation with our server, and with the owner. This is a small informal breakfast and lunch place and they do that very well. I ordered scrambled eggs, hard, bacon, grilled English Muffin and a side of potatoes. Everything came out exactly as I'd asked. The server even remembered my side of butter (no one ever remembers that). It was pleasant, priced at market and I really want to go back and try the French Toast because that looked amazing!

I want to love this place so badly. It’s a cute little hole in the wall with a great atmosphere. We were sat quickly and brought coffee (the coffee is delicious, by the way). However, things went quickly downhill. We placed our order, and then waited. And waited. And waited. I don’t think I’m the kind of person who’s high maintenance, but at a certain point it becomes ridiculous. We waited over a hour for our food. Other tables came in, were served, and left, before our food came (we were a table of 3). The waitress was snotty and rude, and not once acknowledged that we watched the entire place turn over before we got our food. The scrambled eggs and pancake were good. The fried potatoes were delicious. The El Camino was good too. However, the hash was… gross, to say the least. It was lukewarm, and the hash was unseasoned, grizzly, quarter-sized chunks of beef and barely cooked potatoes. And then the bill came… $70 for mediocre diner food. Again, I want to love this place. I love supporting local small businesses, and I’m a sucker for greasy diner food. But not when it’s so expensive and you have to wait so long to get it. Unfortunately can’t recommend the place, because the bad highly overshadows the good.

Great food, great service, and great atmosphere!! If you happen to be staying on the southern side of Winnipesaukee, you must try Karma Cafe out. The price to portion is great and the taste is even better. Build your own eggs benedict or perhaps go for one of their skillet dishes! Just so good 😋
