Restaurant
Barnacle Billy's is a classic seafood restaurant located in Perkins Cove, known for its lobster dishes and rum punch. It has been a landmark in the area since it was opened by the Tower family in 1961. The restaurant offers fresh seafood, including their famous claw-meat-filled lobster roll and hearty clam chowder. Additionally, the establishment has a sister restaurant called Barnacle Billy's Etc., which opened in 1989.
We drove up from Boston to Barnacle Billy's on recommendation from a friend. We ordered the Lobster roll which comes cold with chips on the side (no fries offered but we which they did), clam chowder, and cheeseburger. We enjoyed the lobster roll and the clam chowder was perfect ratio of potato and clam. There was a line out the door for both the restaurant and the restroom. I would recommend outdoor seating because of the view, but it was jam packed while we were there. Definitely worth the drive.

My first time in Maine and this was the restaurant we chose to eat at. I must say that the view is absolutely wonderful if you can be seated out on the patio. The lobster roll was extremely good along with the whole lobster. It is a little bit expensive but it's worth it.
Arkansas T — Google review
Just came back from lobstering, and wanted a big, hot meal, which is exactly what we got. I got the Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese, which was incredibly good. The clam chowder was also delicious, with just the right amount of clam. Excellent view, and I would definitely recommend this place.

Even on a cool, drizzly October day, this spot was a wonderful dining experience for some Maine experience. The waves were crashing nearby, boats rocking on the water outside the window. Inside were comfortable tables and good service. The drinks were tasty, followed by super fresh salads and incredibly buttery, tender mussels. The chowder had loads of class and potatoes. Lobster rolls were packed with whole lumps of claw meat in a perfectly toasted bun, and the fried clams were lightly battered and full of flavor. There are many dining options in this little coastal town, but I'm glad we opted for this one. Highly recommend!
Teakay — Google review
I loved the 1.5 oz boiled lobster ( with 2 sides: baked potatoes and coleslaw) and the white wine & garlic sauced mussels. Very fresh. The complimentary rolls with salted butter was good too. Table with view of the sea and we were served by lovely waitress Jen.
W2003 — Google review
Loved this place! Stopped for some food before venturing out on the Marginal Way. We both got baked scallops and we shared mussels. I also tried the rum punch and my husband got an espresso martini. Everything was delicious and staff was friendly and checked in often. Will be back again if we are ever in the area!
Kara L — Google review
Delicious lobster roll, calamari, and rum punch! Our server was very kind and efficient - even with our two littles (2 & 4 yo). The outdoor seating was beautiful and looked out over the water. I would highly recommend to anyone coming into the area. Check out Perkins Cove, then head (or start?) at Barnacle Billy’s.

***IGNORE THE LOW STAR REVIEWS*** This place is the place to go, don’t even hesitate. The vibe the entrance, the way to order, the view, the rum punches and the steamers/food. Why would you even think twice. Staff is fantastic and the nostalgia of ordering, then paying at another station, they announce your number over the PA speaker, servers are fantastic - we had “Leah,” literally the best and just sit back and enjoy your time. I added a floater, bought a hat and basked in the full experience of this place. Classic and is a must-go every time you’re hear. You’re a fool to listen to the rest of the clowns complaining about parking, strollers and lights!!! 🦞🍹 ***BEST PLACE EVER***

Seafood restaurant
The Lobster Shack is a beloved seafood eatery in Ogunquit, offering a cozy and unassuming atmosphere. Established in the 1980s, this classic restaurant serves up freshly prepared seafood dishes, with a focus on locally sourced ingredients. Situated in Perkins Cove, it provides an intimate dining experience with live lobster tanks for guests to select their meal from.
What an amazing meal! The lobster was truly outstanding - incredibly soft, melt-in-your-mouth meat that was perfectly complemented by just a light touch of mayo, not overpowering the natural sweetness of the lobster. The chowder was absolutely incredible! Crafted with delicate white fish and seasoned with blend of herbs, it was delightfully light, milky, and soupy - a refreshing change from the thicker and floury version. They emphasize that the chowder recipe dates back to 1988, I sincerely hope that they won't change a bit of it - absolutely exquisite! The ambient is very homey, it reminds me the interior of a boat, with ita warm wooden tables and benches. The staff is very kind and smiley. Highly recommended!
Ilaria — Google review
Well run operation runs smoothly. Wait in line, place your order, eat and leave. Simple menu. Friendly staff. Clean. The key with this food is always freshness. Lobster rolls were perfection: we tried them with both mayo and melted butter. But, frankly, they don't need anything: that's how fresh the lobster meat is! Chowder is classic New England with NO thickeners. Crab rolls also terrific. Highly recommended
Marc B — Google review
Fun atmosphere and quick service. Getting the daily special is the way to go. If you get the clams, they give you a small bowl of water. This is to rinse the residue grit on the clams. I wish I knew that before I ate my first clam. The ones after that were great!
Patti T — Google review
Unfortunately was very disappointed with the food. Service was great and atmosphere is perfect lobster shack vibe. We tried steamers, clam chowder and lobster roll. Steamers were good and absolutely clean, not sandy. Clam chowder was very bland, had really no clam flavor and very little actual clams. Lobster roll was also disappointing. Very small pieces of lobster, seemed like mostly knuckle meat.
Kathy D — Google review
Dan is a he man !! Hardest working guy in Maine. The lobster roll was decent. The chips were great. The hamburger was out of this world. The pulled pork was a bit dry. The service was phenomenal !! Dan was hustling with the kitchen and serving everybody outside too.

While visiting the cute town of Ogunquit, we stopped for lunch at the Lobster Shack and it really hit the spot. Tried the clam chowder, lobster roll, crab cake sandwich, and haddock street tacos — all of it was super tasty. Everything was seasoned just right, and the homemade chips were a nice touch. Cute little spot with a laid-back coastal vibe. Would definitely go back.
Sue O — Google review
Parking can be a bit of a challenge, especially during peak season. It’s on the pricier side for something marketed as a “shack,” but given how touristy the place is, it’s somewhat expected. We’ve had quite a few lobster rolls during our East Coast trip, and honestly, the one here wasn’t the best. The clam chowder that came with the meal was more watery than we’re used to—not bad, just different. The lobster stew had generous chunks of meat, but the cup was tiny and tasted mostly like cream. There’s plenty of indoor seating, which is nice, but when things get busy, the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and not the most patient. Overall, a decent stop if you’re nearby, but probably not worth going out of the way for.
T Y — Google review
We stopped in here after walking the Marginal Way. We almost ate at the lobster shack next to this one, but then stumbled upon this restaurant with an inside and tables to sit at! They had a 2 1lb lobster meal on special that day so I tried it and the food was delicious! The service was also friendly and quick.

The chic and uncluttered aesthetic of the dining space allows for panoramic ocean views from three sides, making it an ideal setting for a fine-dining experience or special occasion.
Great experience at M.C Perkins Cove for lunch today. Food was incredible, the view was spectacular, and the staff were so kind and attentive to us the whole time. Highly recommend for a quick bite!

Great restaurant with good service and food. Everything was delicious and served at the proper temperature. There is a wait between ordering and getting served but it was worth the wait. A little pricey but to be expected because of the location. There adults and three young kids and the bill was just over $300.

Unforgettable Experience at MC Perkins Cove MC Perkins Cove delivered an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The service was absolutely outstanding—every staff member was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. They went above and beyond to make our evening special. We were celebrating a retirement and had quietly noted it in the online reservation. To our surprise, they actually noticed—and ended the meal with a beautifully presented dessert, complete with “Congratulations” written in chocolate. Such a thoughtful and personal touch that most places overlook. The food was remarkable, full of fresh, bold flavors and plated with care. Every course was memorable. But what truly elevates the experience is the view—an absolutely breathtaking panorama of the ocean. The gorgeous sunset and ocean views made the whole evening feel magical. MC Perkins Cove is a must. Highly recommended.

When I walked in the door, I said wow the view of the ocean is incredible. When you sit down every table has a great view. The staff was extremely accommodating, offering a lot of assistance and patience for ordering. The food was amazing. I had the burger, smoky bacon. Excellent my sister had the lobster roll. There was not one bite of food left on anybody’s plate. Thank you for an incredible lunch.

The most beautiful view you can get. Tip: Come here for the great chowder and a good priced Maine Lunch beer. Enjoy the view then get your lobster roll across the street. Other than the chowder, the rest of the food is just okay. You're paying for the atmosphere, which is well worth it. Staff is very good and professional. Make a reservation. Aim for a late lunch or early dinner to get a good table.

The Ogunquit Playhouse, a 1930s-era theater, has a rich history of hosting famous stars like Helen Hayes and Bette Davis. This historic summer-stock theater showcases the best musicals and even premieres new works. It operates seasonally from May to October but also offers a traditional holiday production in December at The Music Hall in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
Lovely spot to see a show! We saw Little Shop of Horrors, and it was simply amazing. The performers were very talented. It was so nice to see this level of performance in the area. The stage props were also awesome! The movement of the scenery added so much character to the performance. My only small gripe is the parking; you are packed in tight, but they have a system, and you just need some patience on your way out. We loved it so much we are going to see it again in a few days!

The first show I saw here was 'Singing in the Rain' oh my gosh - such a grand show!! Then I attended the Davinci Code, which was also great, in a different way. The Playhouse is clean, staff is friendly, parking is a dream - so efficient. Cannot wait to go again! Maine, here I come! Just saw their new show 5/29/25. Amazing!!! Hoping to go back to see Titanic later this season. Next year, I think I will get season tickets, worth it for sure.

My wife watched her grandparents go to this theatre 70+ years ago. She said she'd go one day. I'm pleased to report she finally made it. They've obviously kept up and improved technology. The seating is very spacious. Sound is excellent. Technology for the stage is up to date. The show was excellent too

The Ogunquit Playhouse is a gem! At 93 years old, it’s full of history and charm, and our aisle seats (rows N & O, left side) had a perfect view. Elvis Meets the Beatles was high-energy, fun, and superbly performed, with colorful sets and a great storyline. A fabulous night in a legendary theater! Elvis was spot on. Little Richard was fantastic The Journalist Chris was convincing and the Beatles were entertaining.

From the first moment we entered the carlot, to the final trip to the head after the show, we felt cared for and cared about. The show "Come from Away" was excellent! Set, costumes, casting, lighting, sound design and (particularly) the "subtitles" were all so good as to allow me to immerse myself in the plot of the show while I fondly remembered being Screeched-in in 2017! Welcome to the Rock!

Nestled by the water, Footbridge Lobster is a quirky seafood shack that has become a must-visit for anyone craving delicious takeout lobster rolls. Located near Perkins Cove, this charming spot invites you to savor its offerings while soaking in the stunning coastal views. After grabbing your meal, consider taking a leisurely stroll along Marginal Way—a picturesque cliffside path that showcases Maine's natural beauty.
Lobster crate vibes at Footbridge Lobster in Ogunquit! For $19.99, you get not one but two lobsters & a corn on the cob, & the lobster roll was stuffed with 5oz of deliciousness with mayo & butter. The price is amazing, & the taste is even better!
Maria A — Google review
They offer their lobster rolls with butter or mayo but if you want it warmed up you have to specifically request it. They do not have any of their own seating so you’ll have to walk around and find a bench. Their lobster roll was really good, i got it with butter!
Kaitlin — Google review
When in Maine… you roll with the best! Foot Bridge Lobster serves up fresh-off-the-boat lobster, and this roll? LOADED. Perfectly cooked, buttery, and absolutely brimming with that sweet local flavor. No frills, just the real deal.

What a great walk up dinning experience! The lobster was fantastic. I would definitely recommend the sweet potato fries. Can't wait to go back.

After a long drive we were looking forward to fresh Maine seafood. So even the downpour of rain couldn’t stop us from getting dinner at one of our favorite spots. We grabbed lobster rolls, scallops and fish. Worth every penny!!
Beth A — Google review
Lobster twin for $20 is definitely a steal. Moreover, the lobsters are coming with the corn and chips. Highly recommended to stop by here.
Todd S — Google review
As a New Englander and frequent lobster roll connoisseur, this is one of the best I’ve ever had. We had the warm lobster roll with butter and mayo as recommended by the staff. It was a small hotdog bun but had lots of fresh juicy lobster meat, and came with a bag of chips. This would absolutely be a 10/10 but $40 per roll feels like highway robbery. Also note that there’s nowhere to sit, it’s an order at the window style but that’s okay, there’s benches and rocks around to perch on. The staff was very friendly and helpful, would recommend this place to anyone that has the extra cash to pay.
Kay — Google review
I can’t say that i’ve had many lobster rolls in my life, but this one is the best. Fresh lobster served with perfectly grilled hotdog roll. We had it with butter and mayo and it’s hard to think of a better combination.

Oarweed Restaurant is a charming wood-shingled establishment located at the head of the Marginal Way in Ogunquit, offering stunning ocean views and a menu filled with New England seafood and other Americana dishes. This Perkins Cove landmark has been serving fresh Maine seafood for over 50 years, attracting generations of families who return for classic coastal fare and the spectacular view. The restaurant's specialty is its perfectly steamed lobster, which is served alongside other coastal flavors such as clams.
Loved my chicken sandwich and was able to buy up for a side ceasar salad instead of chips or the other sides offered. The bun was not soggy and chicken was very moist. I also ordered ice cream for dessert. It's nothing special but good vanilla flavor. Everyone else liked their food and the view of the Atlantic ocean.

10 of us showed up at 6:45 p.m. and were easily accommodated at two tables put together. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered and the food came in a reasonable length of time given how many of us there were. The food itself was good though nothing special.. The location is spectacular, right on the ocean at Perkins Cove, at the beginning of Marginal Way. Beautiful views. We ordered dessert and the blueberry pie Ala mode and the cheesecake were both excellent. I am sure we'll go back.
David E — Google review
Beautiful view. Ok food but a bit overpriced. I came here with family for lunch. We ordered the lobster salad and bowl of clam chowder. The lobster was tasty but for a $40 salad, I expected more. The bowl of clam chowder was also tasty, just on the small side for a bowl. Watch your change if you pay with cash as we were shorted a few bucks. It was going towards tip anyway but I had to do a double take to realize we didn't receive the right amount back. On the positive side, there is free parking for guests so that was good as parking in this area is limited and expensive.
Amy S — Google review
Really good place. Although I understand the lack of "seasoning" of the Maine areaz I just wish someone would offer a more seasoned lobster roll. But I do not hold this against any establishment, just my 2 cents. But overall, food was great, atmosphere was good and the service was great!
Jeffrey P — Google review
Great spot right at the end of the marginal cliff walk. We waited a bit to be seated because the place was so busy, but our seat was in a cozy corner with an amazing view of the water. The clam chowder was so creamy and delicious, the lobster roll was salad (it came with a bag of chip), and the blueberry pie was absolutely incredible. Their famous lemony dressing also totally lived up to the hype! It’s certainly not cheap, but I think it was worth it. We walked here but there is a parking lot next door (it costs $20 to park tho)
Paige D — Google review
Cozy place with excellent buffet breakfast included. We also had a delicious dinner. Good location and quiet for a fall visit. Close enough to downtown Boothbay and the botanical gardens.
Lynn L — Google review
Been in Perkins Cove a million times, but this is only my 2nd time here. This is probably my strongest 4 rating ever. That’s attributable to the incredible service, the insane view and the host & management team. It’s high season so it was super chaotic. Those guys were level headed, calm and good listeners. We got right in (on a Friday night). Fans everywhere let a breeze moving making it comfortable. Good service was on point and timely. Observed good teamwork which is a plus. Food is pretty good. No complaints. Everything met our expectations. No overly complex dishes. Mostly east coast favorites. Positive thing that we noticed that the menu offered some very affordable options in the most desirable spot in Ogunquit, on the water (Marginal Way). The next day we recommended this place. Like Arnold “We’ll be back”

We ate at the Maine Catch for Father’s Day this weekend, and everything was perfect! The weather was nice, so we sat outside on the Patio with our dog Reggie… we were surrounded by beautiful flowers and the decor was great. We each had a cocktail, and that was delicious. Next, we had the Shrimp Cocktail appetizer, and it was the best we’ve ever had. The Shrimp were huge, cooked perfectly and the cocktail sauce with extra horseradish on the side was spot on. Our entrees were the Baked Haddock (I substituted broccoli for the rice with no questions asked) and my husband’s Scallops were seared perfectly and enormous. The plating was beautiful and the service was excellent. Couldn’t have had a better meal anywhere, in Maine or in Boston. Can’t wait to come back again!

We were told about this place by a sweet gal at the Colonial Inn . It is this quaint looking establishment from the outside … Lovely rustic decor inside . Excellent service by Drew … They made my granddaughter a delicious mocktail and our cocktails were perfect .. The fried clams and crabcakes were the best we’ve ever had. My husband had brown butter Halibut… Best he has had … and he’s had Alaskan halibut . My granddaughter had lobster risotto. Delicious.I had lobster linguini… Just perfect! My granddaughter also tried oysters from the seafood bar … Loved them . Dessert was fresh blueberry pie and chocolate cake with a peanut butter ganache filling .. Both so yummy! Fantastic spot worth every penny ! Don’t miss this place in Ogunquit Maine

Amazing restaurant wow. Service was great, our waiter Benjamin was very timely, kind, and he gave really good suggestions. Cute ambiance, we sat outside and it was very cozy. As for the food. All of us were scraping every last bit of everything. Our table ordered the mussels in white sauce, oysters, stuffed lobster, blackened seafood trio, and scallop linguine. We came in a big group and our whole table went silent while eating. Cannot recommend this place enough

An absolute gem in Ogunquit, the seafood is as fresh as it gets, and flavor of the dishes are amazing. We had oysters, crab cake, Brussels, lobster risotto and the seafood Newburg. While everything is delicious, the Newburg gets a special shoutout for the unique flavor profile, would come back just for that! Our server Drew was attentive and had spot on recommendations. This is a must visit spot, we can’t wait to be back!

Amazing food. Everything was so tasty. We started with the shrimp ceviche (the only option we should have skipped, it was good but nothing special). We then had some really good oysters. Celebrated our 10th anniversary at Clay Hill Farm, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The igloo dining experience was magical—cozy, intimate, and absolutely beautiful. The food was incredible, and the service was top-notch. A huge thank you to our amazing server (I wish I remembered her name!) for going above and beyond to make our night so special. Truly a night to remember!

Came across this restaurant doing a Google search. The restaurant did not disappoint. Classic decor with nostalgic appeal. The food was amazing! It's no wonder why the lobster bisque is award winning. We both bought a quart to take back home. My filet was cooked to medium perfection the way I like it. The cheesy grits were fantastic. Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed

Lovely setting. Had the prime rib, butter poached lobster and the lobster bisque. The bisque and poached lobster were very good, the prime rib was satisfying

*** Dined 1 day ago The service at Clay Hill Farm is excellent as is the experienced bar service—| had one of the best Manhattan's I've ever had and my dinner partner's Mule was also excellent. I wish I could give the food such high praise. My dinner partner ordered a chicken breast, but it came out as if it was a bowl of chicken soup with wide egg noodles. The chicken was swimming in a tasteless broth. Very odd. I had the duck which would have been delicious if it were not overcooked. Interestingly, before I ordered, the waitress noted that the chef liked to serve his duck medium rare and warned me not to order the duck medium for fear it would be tough. I went with her suggestion, but when the entree was served, the duck was well done to the max. The orange rice, a companion to the main course, was a starchy, gluey blob, and the berry coulis was bitter. To say dinner was average is an understatement. As for the atmosphere, it could be charming but needs a serious refresh in its current state.

Went out for dinner on Saturday, July 19th. We were impressed with the the location itself; the grounds were beautiful and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was pleasant. The pianist who was also providing live music did a fantastic job. The valet attendant was also very friendly and punctual in getting our car at the end of the evening. Unfortunately, the service was terrible, which appears to be a consistent theme based on previous reviews. We had been seated for over an hour before our waitress brought bread, and it took at least 45 minutes to get our first drink. There were also two different staff assigned to our table, which was confusing when two different checks were brought to our table by the end of the meal. Not sure why the service was so inattentive, especially considering the restaurant itself was not over busy that evening. The food was good, but not great. The drinks were also good, but not great. We did feel the pricing was appropriate for a restaurant by the seacoast in Maine. We would be interested in coming back should the service improve.

I've been here many times and always enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the staff. Saturday night 6 of us dined here. Three were happy with their meals, one salmon, 2 specials: beef cooked to perfection and Cesar salad. Three were unhappy. Four of us got soup ... just Luke warm but it tasted good. The pumpkin soup was a little too thick. Two people got the pork chop. One was undercooked and didn't want to send back. The other person loves pork chops and said it was just o.k. I ordered the duck. It was in the $34 range. When my dish came to the table there was a good size biscuit in the center sitting in a brown gravy. Where was the duck? The duck was shredded in the gravy. Not much duck in the gravy. Very disappointing and expensive. Two people ordered the ice cream Sunday and it was shared. Everyone loved dessert.

My daughter got salmon which was good. Unfortunately I got the flank steak special. There was a piece of steak from another cut which was exposed and supposed to make my flank steak look good, but the flank steak was terrible. The Boursin mashed potatoes were cold and the vegetable was about 5 green beans. I would try this restaurant again, but would be more discerning in my choice, or send it back.

This restaurant highlights a farm-to-table concept with an emphasis on local ingredients, which I admire and usually enjoy. Sadly, this was one of the most disappointing dinners I have ever had. It truly pains me to write this, as I prefer to support places with such intentions, but honesty feels necessary here. In hindsight, I later came across a review that echoed my own experience, but at the time we were influenced by a lovely couple we met earlier in the day who recommended it highly. I’ll spare the details, but with regret, I would suggest passing on this one.

The Front Porch Piano Bar & Restaurant in Ogunquit is a beloved spot offering American cuisine in various dining areas. The menu features appetizers, pub fare, salads, entrees, and flatbreads. Whether you prefer classic options like Margherita flatbread or more adventurous choices like Pumpkin Flatbread, there's something for every palate. Downstairs offers a calm dining room ambiance while the lively piano bar upstairs invites guests to enjoy music and laughter.
Being a great attraction and seaside community, Ogunquit has something to offer everyone. The Front Porch is a unique place for those that would enjoy singing along with a pianist. A happy place with a vibe for relaxation and fun with friends and family. The Piano bar is on the second floor, and during the live event times, seating can be a bit hard to find, especially in high season. On a recent dinner visit I was fortunate to find a spot by the stairs and towards the back, but still with a bit of the view of the pianist. The menu has a lot of options and will appeal to almost everyone. I had the Crispy Calamari as an appetizer; quite the quintessential seafood dish when in New England. It is a generous portion and very well prepared. For the main course, I went with the Jerk Spiced Salmon, which was delicious and flavorful. Being a very busy place, one might expect a bit of a lag in service, but not so in my case. Madison as busy as she was, was fantastic and did a great job attending to not just me, but every table she supported. She was very pleasant and added much to my very satisfying experience. The pianist performs a variety of hits that would be a perfect sing along for most music fans. Bring an appetite and anticipation for joy, and you will be very happy to have stopped by.

This was so much fun! George Howe was playing and he was very entertaining, had the whole place singing along. The food was delicious with huge portions and fast service. Best dining experience in Ogonquit!

Came in for a late night dinner. Clam chowder was loaded with clams! That was a pleasant surprise. We also split the Mac&cheese and still had a huge portion. This place was so good we came back for their extensive drink menu a couple days later. Awesome service.

Spinach artichoke dip was delicious, burger was tasty overall vibe is great and love the piano/live music upstairs. Loudness was only an issue because of one obnoxious person at the bar but the live piano was not bad at all and actually quite fun and nice Service was fine, not bad but not amazing or above and beyond but still fine We got 2 apps, 2 cocktails plus 1 corona the schnitzel and a burger and bill+tip was about $140-$150

I know this place is highly rated by reviews and some locals we talked to. But we found it didn’t hit the mark. The host greeted us warmly and that started out the evening well. But our service and food after that was average. The risotto was more on the undercooked and crunchy side and both that and the mac and cheese were average in flavor. The server never came back to ask if our food was good and didn’t ask if we wanted anything else before bringing our check. We’re not overly demanding with high expectations but going to a place with a reputation like this you do think you’ll have great food and friendly service.

We made reservations for a birthday lunch today that got missed all together! Assuming you can make it through the front door, there's enough room for two people and it feels really awkward (I seriously doubt it meets code). Our waitress was clueless and nowhere to be found. Let's get to the food, should we? My g.f. ordered fish tacos that according to her were the absolute worst she ever had. I can get the same or better burger at any sub shop and it will cost me half of what I paid. Lobster mac & cheese was barely ok. We ended up wasting $150 at TFP (we had no drinks) but this was one and done. BTW, hire and electrician to install the lights properly. This and the restaurant across the street are clearly cash cows for the owners.
HA P — Google review
Fun place. Here's what to know: for the piano bar, which is upstairs, you can't make reservations; they just fill the space with voices to sing along with the pianist. They don't serve food up there. There are not nearly enough tables to sit at. There is a small video screen at the far wall, showing what's happening at the actual piano bar. Otherwise, you can't see the pianist. People really do get into the singing, creating a friendly, communal vibe. Some of the tables are large, encouraging strangers to sit together if they don't want to stand. We needed food though, so we left after a few songs once my glass of wine was empty.

Stopped by The Front Porch Piano Bar & Restaurant on our first night in Ogunquit (such a cute town!). Parking was definitely limited, but once we got in, the staff was super friendly and welcoming. We grabbed seats at the bar by the window, which was a great spot to relax and people-watch. Drinks were good (a little on the pricey side), and the food was great! Such a fun and lively place — would definitely come back!

I had the teriyaki steak tips with a Cesar salad and garlic fries. They were good. My husband had the fish and chips. The haddock was fresh and flaky. Overall was a good experience. I would go back.

Our favorite spot in Ogunquit! The food never disappoints and the service is stellar. Today we had the amazing Christopher! He was so nice and welcoming. As far as food, the chicken sandwich is extremely good as is the fried Haddock. I would even go as far as saying it’s the best fried haddock in town. But honestly, we have had a few different things and I have never been disappointed.

Decided to visit the last night of our stay for some late night drinks & dessert. The drinks were amazing! Sunset at the footbridge, margaritas (alc & non-alc). The nonalcoholic margaritas were delicious, best we’ve ever had to be honest. The live music was great, added a fun chill vibe, very fun. We did order a slice of blueberry pie, which was ok & the reason for the 4-stars. It unfortunately was burnt, so that was disappointing as our favorite pie place closed years ago and we’ve been looking for some good pie. Overall it was a great place, we’ll be back again & would recommend it to others.

Definitely a good spot for brunch. There's a bar up front and out back. This restaurant was bigger than it looked. There's a little something for everyone on the menu. The food came out hot, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.

This lively restaurant, located on the corner of Route 1 and Shore Road, has a great menu. We sat at a high top table and enjoyed the view (seriously, it’s chaotic! Route 1, Beach Street, and Shore Road all converge - cars, trolleys, cyclists, pedestrians - but no accidents while we were there). Burgers are awesome, my chicken sandwich was terrific. Craft beers, fun place.

Devon was a wonderful server. He took our order promptly, and the food was served in no time. Best of all, the food came hot! Nothing worse than getting a lukewarm of lukewarm haddock. Very generous portions. Although there’s no parking available on site, there are lots nearby and it’s a great location right in the center of town. Great for people watching.

I ordered the steak tips medium rare and they were cooked perfectly and really tender. Everything our party ordered was pretty good including drinks. I love that they also do live music, it does get pretty loud in there during a busy night but is to be expected during tourist season.

Cornerstone Artisanal Pizza & Craft Beer is a popular spot in Ogunquit, known for its inventive stone-fired pizzas and local beer selection. The warm and welcoming atmosphere with exposed wood beams makes it a great place to enjoy a wide range of regional and local craft beers. Their menu features artisanal pizzas made with fresh ingredients, including house-made dough, locally-sourced produce, and Maine lobster.
Came in for dinner one evening when it was absolutely pouring. The pizza was delicious and the drinks were well made and they had a great selection. Overall very lovely atmosphere on the porch while it was raining but a bird did shit on me. Not the restaurant's fault but still a funny hiccup. The food was very good, but it was incredibly busy. Our waitress still tried her best to check on us regularly but I think there must have been 4-5 large families all around us. More of a seating issue overall. Would recommend!

Quick and friendly service! We really loved their thin pizza crust—so good. We tried the not-so-traditional Margherita pizza and the Sweet Chicken Fig pizza, and both were absolutely delicious. We also had the Street Corn Queso Chips as an appetizer, which were packed with flavor. Only downside was that it felt a bit chilly inside, which made it a little less comfortable to fully enjoy the meal. A bit more warmth would’ve made the experience perfect!

Ogunquit is one of the busier tourist destinations in Maine, and has plenty of great restaurants to choose from. If you crave a really nice thin crust pizza in a very casual and comfortable atmosphere, look no further. This is a no frills restaurant, excelling in their name sake, Pizza. There are plenty of choices, but their appetizers can be overlooked. We found a truly delicious appetizer that I feel compelled to mention. The Sausage stuffed Cherry Peppers, were an absolute delight. We could not have been more surprised, as to how delectable and flavorful that small dish was. We also had the Shrimp Pizza, which as expected was very appetizing. If you want a quick, friendly and airy place to take in the summer breeze and vibe of quintessential Maine, while enjoying a great bite of a sumptuous pizza, stop by and you will not go wrong.

Fell in love with the atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food and drinks at Cornerstone Artisanal. Such a great menu, truly something for everyone in the family. We loved the spicy hawaiian pizza, dill pickle pizza, pulled pork sandwich and the lobster roll. Loved the Blueberry Mule and craft beer selection. Everything was perfect our family is vacationing from NY, CT and NH and already made another reservation to go back this week for a celebration dinner. Perfect spot very accommodating and great staff.

We had a nice meal here over the weekend. Janessia was our waitress, she had great suggestions, and a greater sense of humor. Prices were a bit high, but this is a popular spot in a vacation town. We did have a member of our party that required a gluten free meal and she was happily accommodated. I also want to add that the manager was super nice too. As we walked by the hostess station heading towards our table, an entitled old jerk felt the need to complain that we got a table before them. We had givin our name to the hostess 20-30 minutes prior and sat outside in front of the restaurant while we waited to be sat. Entitled old jerk thought that he should get our table because he waited near the hostess station. After being seated, entitled old jerk then proceeded to yell at our waitress AND the manager. He made sure the whole restaurant heard him complaining. I really wish the staff had asked them to leave rather than them getting served quickly to get them out faster.

This was a super fun place for pizza. Downtown, so busy, but staff was very quick and the food was great. Loved the bar area, with doors used in many places for decoration. The painkiller was yummy and the bbq pulled pork pizza was tasty and huge!! The 2nd time I went, the smokey pepperoni was delicious!

Village Food Market is a year-round spot with limited outdoor seating, so takeout is the way to go. Their breakfast menu is surprisingly extensive for a takeout joint, and it's recommended to call ahead. The Steak and Egg wrap comes highly recommended. Located in the heart of the vibrant Village, Beachmere Inn offers cozy family-friendly suites just a short walk from one of America's top-rated beaches.
Definitely enjoyed this market and supporting a local small business. It is like a mini grocery store with some produce and tons of other grocery items. The baked goods looked so delicious. They also have a full menu with tons of options for a quick bite.

Waited 28 minutes for 2 lousy breakfast sandwiches on a relatively quiet Monday morning.....off season Oct 6. Will never come back here. Used to be good. We come every year here in Ogunquit. Sad. There are plenty of fantastic places to eat here with much quicker, quality food. Sorry.

Great spot for morning coffee or tea and a wide selection of breakfast items, with a few tables if you want to eat at the market. Our Inn does not provide breakfast, so we ventured to the Village Food Market around 8:00am to see what they offered and found a great selection of coffee and breakfast items. We ordered 2 everything bagels toasted with plain cream cheese. The bagels tasted fresh and were very good. The coffee is fantastic, thinking I chose the Einstein brew, a medium roast with a blend of various coffees, the coffee was very strong and tasted great. The market offers half & half which we live in our coffee. The location is a market with various food items other than the food prepared at the grill. Great spot in downtown Ogunquit.

This market had so many items, something for everyone! We ordered an italian sub and it was delicious. They had hot food available- which the kids enjoyed the chicken tenders. There were several drink options, desserts, coffee, snacks, and grocery items. The wait for a sandwich during prime lunch time was around 5-10 minutes.

I ordered a 10” funfetti cake with a fuchsia/orange sunset theme for my friend’s 30th birthday and the bakers at Village Food Market went above and beyond!! The cake tied everything together for theme and the birthday girl loved it! Not to mention the cake tasted delish, even as breakfast two days later. I would order another cake from Village in a heartbeat.

If there is a worse way to run sandwich-preparation I have not seen it. You place the order at the counter like anywhere else. After you pay You are given a ticket with a number on it. You exit the store and queue up outside waiting for one of the sandwich guys to tape a similar ticket on the inside of the window. This is not a pick-up window. It is the large wall-window on the front of the market. And the spot where they tape these completed-order tickets is three feet to the right of the only door to the market. So, basically the entry / exit to the store has a large number of people congregated, waiting to see if the guy taped up any new tickets on the inside of the big window. You can’t see the little numbers from more than a few feet so every time he tapes up a little piece of paper everyone moves around to try to figure it out. The wait is long - can be 20-30 minutes from when you have paid until when your magic number arrives. When it does, you go back inside and they give you your sandwich. No napkins, utensils. And no obvious place to get that stuff within the chaotic environment of the store. Oh, and I ordered one sandwich on a gluten-free wrap. There was an undisclosed surcharge of $4.50 for that one. And I got onions without asking for them. Otherwise the food was good.

My husband and I did an overnight stay in Oguncuit and on our way out of town stopped at The Omelette Factory for breakfast. First off this place has so much character as you are greeted by large colorful 🏳️‍🌈 roosters in front, and inside a quaint colorful eatery. This place has I don’t know over 40 or so omelette options as well as other breakfast items but we decided if you eat somewhere called the Omelette Factory you have to get an omelette. My husband and I both agreed we had one of the best omelets we have ever had. One thing we loved is they use butter and you can taste it with every bite of the fluffy egg mixture. Also loved their homemade strawberry jam that comes on your plate and I don’t really like jam but this was delicious on the sweet bread they give you on your plate. Friendly service, great food, prices are reasonable and we will definitely go back if we ever travel to or through Oguncuit again!

We always love going to the OF! Watching Chef Bobby and his crew work their magic in the kitchen while eating is such fun!! The wait staff is also very friendly and attentive. The omelettes are so big and tasty and the sweet bread with homemade jam is perfect! Love the Jamaican music playing in the background. The new shirts/sweatshirts with their "be better humans" is a must buy and a message that will never get old. We chatted with the owner who is clearly into good customer service. Keep it up! We will be back:)

Chef Bobby makes an amazing breakfast! From Lobster Benedict to scrambled eggs with bacon, and a pancake. Everything was cooked to perfection and don't forget to add some of Chef Bobby's Hot Sauce!!! It is a flavor bomb and the heat comes in just after so you really taste every layer without the heat hitting you so fast. The food was made with such intention and love, so delicious you could pray and give thanks after every bite. The service was equally wonderful and the vibe in-house was of home where all are welcome. Thank you so much Chef Bobby, we will return!!!

Easily the worst salad ive ever had. It looked like a salad you get from a cafeteria. The lettuce was hard and weird. The chicken was the dryest worst chicken ever. The dressing was flavorless. It was $21 to boot. Truly awful.

I loved everything about this place! The chicken + fig grilled cheese was amazing along with their other sandwiches. BUT the best of all are their drinks! The lavender lemonade is made from freshly squeezed lavender and lemons. It is the best drink i’ve ever had in my life. The Beach Basket is family owned and has the cutest interior/exterior. Very convenient lunch spot and I appreciated the healthy-ish options, which can be hard to find in Ogunquit. I also appreciated how the salads and sandwiches were customizable. The lemonades are good too and they have some interesting flavor options. The lemonades are quite sweet but that seems obvious for lemonade

The food and service at Rose Cove Ogunquit are excellent. The lobster roll, resembling a sandwich on a freshly baked roll, is delicious with a satisfying bite. The bacon-wrapped scallops are large and bursting with flavor. Although the fried haddock is good, it could benefit from more seasoning in the breading. However, this is just a minor issue. One drawback is the absence of delivery service for their tasty food, which might discourage some customers from returning.
Highly Recommended. The restaurant has very good ambience, everybody in the resto was really approachable and welcoming. Plus the food was great. The cocktails and drinks served in the bar are exceptional - it’s a must-try! Would definitely come and visit again! My New Fave Place In Maine.

Excellent, friendly staff. They helped direct us to the short term parking a short walk away. Also gave us advice on where dog friendly places were in the area. I was thrilled they were very accommodating of being dog friendly. They made sure we had a bench space with plenty of room for us. I loved how they had some good shade for the outdoor seating. If it were cooler, then the firepit in front gave a lot of good warmth. The Baked Scallops was good, but I was hoping for incredible. They could have gotten a little fancier with more butter/seasoning for the Ritz Crackers topping. I had the Broccoli Salad as my side and that was extremely delicious! Also, it was neat to have a fudge sample when entering the place. Very neat that they also sell fudge here.

We almost went somewhere else for lunch but I’m so glad we ended up here! The fish sandwich is sooooo good!! I wish I had gotten a picture before I devoured it. Nachos were also good and a perfect appetizer! My husband got the fish tacos and he also loved them. Was affordable and the outdoor area was perfect. Also special thanks to the hostess who was handing out samples of fudge which caught our attention to stop here. 10/10 would def recommend and we’ll definitely be back on future visits!

The spot is super cute and the staff are sweet but the food wasn’t it. I took a clam chowder and there was almost only potatoes in it. My friend had the hamburger and there was no condiment in it or next to it. The other plates we tried honestly were just ordinary and pricy. There a little fire place where we can sit and that was pretty.

Rose Cove is a great example of a place that can win you over just by the customer service before you walk in. We were planning to eat somewhere else, but the wonderful host won us over with the sample of fudge and letting us know that our dog would be welcomed on the patio in a comfortable seat by a fire. We were impressed by the lobster flatbread as well as the beer flight and all of the incredibly friendly staff we met during our stay. What a perfect beginning to our vacation! If you’re thinking about coming here, you won’t regret it.

I always saw this place when going back to the hotel and wanted to love it because it looked awesome. When in reality it was heavy prices for just decent food. Where this place fell short was parking. You have to use public parking between a quarter mile and a half mile away with a big up hill walk. I’m a lobster roll reviewer so we will be mainly reviewing that. The lobster roll was just ok. The bun or roll in this case was not toasted at all giving it a not so pleasant consistency like lobster pudding. This place does have potential tho, my suggestions would be to perfect your lobster roll a little more and also partner up with a shop next door to allow parking for people ordering take out. With the walk, price of the food, and food quality, unfortunately all together it’s not worth eating here when there is plentiful options in the Ogunquit Wells area that have better food, parking, and more reasonable prices.

Loves the seafood sampler!! I thought this place would be a dud but I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing service and food quality and selection!!! So awesome!! I definitely recommend stopping for a bite! Delicious:) I would give it more than 5 stars!!!

Food, service and atmosphere were amazing. Highly recommend. Fire pit in the middle was a good touch especially when it gets chiller in night. They also provide blankets on the chairs if you need.

Breakfast restaurant
Restaurant
Nestled within the charming Gorges Grant Hotel in Ogunquit, Raspberris is a delightful breakfast haven that welcomes both locals and travelers alike. This cozy eatery boasts a warm atmosphere complemented by friendly service, making it an ideal spot to start your day. With a menu featuring classic breakfast favorites like pancakes, omelets, and their renowned Banana Bread French Toast, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Very cozy, clean restaurant, staff was super friendly, the food was delicious and very reasonably priced, plenty of parking and lots of seating, we got seated right away! I recommend this place!

This place is incredible. We showed up right in between rushes. The greeting and service were fantastic. And even though the breakfast took an average amount of time to prepare, it tasted like the chef spent a day in my grandmother's kitchen. Anytime I'm in this area, this is one of the first spots I'll be visiting. The folks that work at this place attend to every detail, which is above and beyond many great spots I've been to.

I took my husband for breakfast here for his birthday. We found out about it from the Ogunquit hotel and suites up the street where we were staying a sister hotel and we were very happy with our experience. The food was delicious. He got the chocolate chip pancakes with eggs and I had scrambled eggs with raisin toast and ham. Everything was very delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful. Our waiter did a great job. Thank you we will come again.
Kristine A — Google review
The waiter Brian was great. The food was hot and delicious. My coffee cup was always refilled without asking. Since none of us used cream in our drinks, I feel bad the 2 creamers were wasted on us. The little creamers might be a less wasteful option.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem and Our New Favorite Breakfast Spot! We’re moving to Ogunquit and have been on a mission to find our go-to breakfast place — and we finally found it at Raspberri’s! It was one of the last stops on our breakfast tour, and honestly, my husband didn’t have high hopes going in. But wow — were we pleasantly surprised! The food was absolutely amazing. I had the French toast with eggs and sausage — the French toast was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and far from the dry, overdone versions we’ve had elsewhere. My husband had eggs, bacon, toast, and home fries — a classic done just right. The scrambled eggs were fluffy, and the portions were huge, which is so rare nowadays. To top it off, our waitress, Sam, was fantastic — friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The whole experience felt like a warm welcome to our new home town. If you're in Ogunquit and looking for a satisfying breakfast in a cozy, welcoming setting — don't miss Raspberri’s. We’re thrilled to call it our new favorite

Italian restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Ogunquit, Maine, Angelina's Ristorante is a delightful blend of relaxed fine dining and a vibrant bar atmosphere. This Italian gem invites food enthusiasts to indulge in its exquisite menu featuring signature dishes like Linguine alla Vongole and Braciole di Manzo alla Pugliese. The Seafood Risotto and Spaghetti alla Carbonara are also crowd favorites that showcase the restaurant's commitment to authentic flavors.
We had a FABULOUS first dinner this past January at Angelina's! We decided to go here as it's always consistently recommended in some of the York County food groups we follow. We haven’t had the chance to make it there during all our times in town until this visit and all I can say is wow! The food was incredible from the calamari to the veal and lobster-your-way specials to ending the evening with a slice of their perfectly sweet wedding cake! Which was totally fitting as we were there to celebrate our first wedding anniversary! We sat at the bar, Evan was very personable and gave us great recommendations and an inviting atmosphere. I also love a good dirty martini and the David’s Ultimate didn’t disappoint! The line of people out the door waiting to get a table as we walked out that night on an evening in January when town was dead should be an indicator to how popular and good this spot truly is! Thanks to the Angelina’s team for a great evening out helping us celebrate. We’ll be back!

Wish I could have given this place a better rating. Our server, Logan, was great. We had the eggplant tower, which was good but needed more mozzarella and the tomatoes, IMO, should be roasted. Entrees were the Veal and mushroom risotto, I enjoyed this very much. My hubs had the chicken Florentine. The chicken. Was very tough and the sauce didn't have much flavor. For dessert we had the lemon Italian cake. Definitely by far, the best part of our meal!!!! It was scrumptious!!!! One thing I will say is that in 2025, no restaurants should have carpet. Also IMO

Overall good experience. Our service was friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant is accommodating and allows substitutions in your menu choice if necessary. The complimentary bread isnt anything spectacular but still appreciated. We ordered the cesar salad and although the ingredients seemed fresh it lacked flavor and dressing! Our main entrees however came excellent and tasted delicious. The flourless cake is a must try, however their cannoli is probably the worst I've ever had. It's like they took straight Ricotta and put it into the shell. Avoid that and you're set to go

Had a delicious meal at Angelina’s! Ordered chicken Marsala and haddock Française. Haddock was amazing, super fresh and delicious. Marsala was fantastic and had the homemade rigatoni, they were incredible! Loved the fresh pasta and all meals were delicious. Large menu with a lot of options, everything was delicious! Ordered drinks that were also great and well balanced, limoncello spritz was perfect. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for fine dining. Had a fantastic meal and still thinking of the delicious Marsala a week later! Amazing Italian food, definitely try this restaurant! This restaurant had amazing Italian dishes, get the homemade pasta! Absolutely delicious!

The best food in ogunquit. The service was great. Beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommend if you're staying in ogunquit to check it out. My mom and i both had the tuna and it was cooked perfectly (rare) and was delicious. The wine I had paired well with it at the servers recommendation. Have been before and will return in the future

Expensive and just meh. We went here on a whim for date night based off recommendation and unfortunately were quite disappointed. There was a funky smell in the restaurant and the menu was overwhelming. We started with the burrata and prosciutto, was just alright, 7/10. I had the chicken parm which was okay, 6/10-nothing special. My other half had the scallop encrustada risotto, “a big let down”, 6/10. Overall, the busser was the sweetest woman and our server was nice too. Editing to add based off owner reply- Thank you for your response. We came in with open wallets and were genuinely excited to treat ourselves to a high-end Italian meal based on recommendation. I mentioned “expensive” not as a complaint, but because higher prices naturally set higher expectations for quality and overall experience. While our server and busser were lovely, the food simply didn’t meet those expectations for us that evening. My review was an honest reflection of our experience. Thank you!

Phenomenal food, the chicken franchise and the lobster ravioli were cooked to perfection. The Bell & Evans chicken is so tender. Italian Wedding soup was amazing! Leave room for their delicious desserts! Logan and the rest of the staff took great care of us, very professional and friendly! Make sure you make reservations! They also offer valet parking.
P.L C — Google review
We had a great experience at Angelica’s! Even though the restaurant was quite crowded, we were seated within 15 minutes of our reservation time. The staff was attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about both the menu and the wine list. My wife and I shared a bottle of sparkling water, and each enjoyed a glass of Malbec. For appetizers, my wife had the Insalata Mediterraneo — fresh romaine, tomatoes, kalamata olives, red onions, and feta cheese tossed with a light balsamic vinaigrette — and I had the Insalata alla Caesar, which was crisp, flavorful, and perfectly dressed. For our main courses, my wife chose the Pollo Funghi (chicken with shallots, sundried tomato, mushrooms, risotto, and Romano cheese), while I went with the Chicken Parmigiana. Both dishes were outstanding, with generous portions — enough that we brought home leftovers for lunch the next day! We finished the evening by sharing a decadent chocolate flourless torte with a scoop of vanilla gelato — the perfect sweet ending to a memorable meal. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and valet parking was a great convenience. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the house baked bread with garlic induced olive oil. Overall, Angelica’s delivered an exceptional dining experience, and we look forward to returning.

Ogunquit Beach Lobster House is a year-round dining spot offering traditional and innovative seafood dishes. Located just a short walk from the beach, it's an ideal place to grab a quick lobster roll or enjoy a leisurely meal. The menu features classics like fish and chips as well as unique options such as bacon-wrapped scallops and haddock sliders. Visitors rave about the lobster roll, mussels in butter sauce, and double-fried frites.
On our first trip to Maine, stumbled across this fantastic seafood restaurant on the beach in Ogunquit. Beautiful views, friendly, attentive service and delicious food! Started with the bacon-wrapped scallops, a local IPA and an apple cider sangria-all excellent! We had lobster sliders and lobster roll-both came with crunchy seasoned fries and both were fabulous! Of course lobster is pricey, but when in Maine, you kind of have to do it. Recommend you do it at Ogunquit Beach Lobster House!

The location is right off the water with huge windows that brings in a lot of light. The interior is beach themed and the staff were quick to get us seated. There's public paid parking across the street. Got the hot with butter lobster roll that was very fresh and satisfying. For the price, I would have expected slightly more lobster, but if you're hungry, get the colossal. The fries were equally great and the coleslaw was refreshing.
Thomas T — Google review
It was pretty good, but not excellent. I felt like the lobster roll lacked some flavor. Pretty good, but I’ve had better. At $46 per lobster roll, I expected a little better flavor. Overall, not bad. I would say try it for yourself.
Donnie T — Google review
The staff was really friendly. They were kind and patient (not that we were a pain, but just with us asking about dietary restrictions). They were a bit slow. We didn't get an appetizer and regretted not getting one because the entrées took a while. The portions were a bit small but they give you a lotttt of fries if you get an entrée with fries. The blueberry pie was yummy, just a bit tart. For the banana split, they did not have whipped cream. They also did not put a cherry or the chocolate sauce. Overall, it was okay there. Nice view.
Leandra N — Google review
The food was very good. We had the lobster roll, lobster sliders, and they had chicken fingers for the kids. Our waitress was absent after taking our order. I had to ask the lady bussing tables for a condiment and shared a water with my kid after mine was gone because we never got refills. When it was time to take my money and clear the table for the next group, she reappeared like magic! They were busy but that’s no reason to forget about people.
JT R — Google review
Over priced for what we got. Clam chowder was good. Fisherman’s platter - mostly fries. Attaching picture. Just disappointing for $38. Kids cheeseburger had a long hair in it. Waygu burger - apparently was good! From a service standpoint, it took 45 minutes to get our food. They’re short staffed - they did have a sign at the front explaining this… but, my kids drinks were not refilled until I asked, my wife and I had beers - but we also had water. We had to ask for more water. We also, when we asked for our check were ready to go, were taken hostage while we had to wait for 15 minutes to get our check, to pay the bill, and tip the server… please let us leave when we asked to leave… Tough to spend almost $200 on lunch and have Sysco French fries & under seasoned seafood. View was great! Sadly, the white furniture, which is lovely for decor, was just dirty. Definitely a Negative impact on the atmosphere.

What an exceptional place to have a meal. Location is great, the views are great and the staff was really friendly. The lobster roll is as good as any. I always got hot both butter. The lobster roll was expensive but worth it.

They were unable to modify the type of egg on the breakfast sandwiches (fried versus scrambled). I ordered a plain bagel instead, but it had a super strong sourdough flavor and was quite small. It was very busy inside and they couldn’t keep up. The napkin holders were all empty. The place is Instagrammable, but the service, food, and prices left much to be desired.

Stopped in for a gluten free breakfast sandwich and coffee. The option for gluten free bread is great & the coffee flavor was really delicious but there was just way too much cream in the drink. I opted for the brown butter maple latte, iced. I recommend to get this flavor hot as it seems to be a homemade syrup made with real butter which does not melt in a cold drink. The flavor is really delicious, but if you want a coffee taste also ask for less cream/milk or an extra shot of espresso. I would still highly recommend going here!
Emily N — Google review
Wish I had more time to spend and look through their menu. We got their vegan scones (strawberry and blueberry coconut scones) and I wish there were more vegan options to choose from. Those scones were so decadent but not in a super sweet way, more so like a filling option to start off the day. I highly recommend them for plant based folks.

We just happened upon this wonderful shop because we found parking and took a look over and saw the Backyard. We got a hot and iced Vietnamese coffee and 2 blueberry scones suggested by the darling young woman taking our order. Coffee was fabulous and the blueberry scones were incredible! My husband went back while I was shopping to get a sandwich a couple hours later. Great little ‘accidental’ find!

Excellent coffee shop in downtown Ogunquit! Lots of fun drinks on the menu, and delicious breakfast sandwiches! We got the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches and the bacon that they used was out of this world good! Can’t recommend this place enough; it’s the perfect place for a morning pick me up on vacation!

A long line that went outside the front door was the first good sign that this was a great place and the food and coffee confirmed our choice. Many different coffee options from drip to espresso, dark to medium blends, with regular and decaf - the coffee was delicious - BARD coffee beans from Portland, ME. The egg bacon and cheese sandwich on a bagel was a decent option for some morning protein. Finally, a great outdoor space to sit and enjoy breakfast on the side of the building made the trip (and wait) totally worth it!

The younger female with the long braided pigtails today was beyond rude. Embarrassed herself. Made a terrible drink and made me never want to go back despite wanting to support local business as a nearby resident. I don't know what mess I walked into but I am super bummed out because I heard so many wonderful things about the breakfast. She needs a retraining.

In the heart of downtown Ogunquit, you'll find Harbor Candy Shop, a haven for chocolate lovers. This charming shop offers a wide array of gourmet chocolates and candies, from classic caramels and truffles to unique creations like tea-infused chocolate and chocolate beach bars adorned with sea salt and delicate edible seashells. Whether you're craving vegan chocolates, fruit and nut chocolates, fudge, creamy caramels, or turtles, this shop has something for every sweet tooth.
To say we were impressed with Harbor Candy Shop was an understatement! They had SO many chocolates to choose from, and really unique and artisanal ones at that! I wish I could’ve sampled one of everything. We picked out a couple truffles and a box of a dozen pieces to take home. Super high quality. I’ll always make sure to stop here when I’m in the area! The staff was patient and kind as we took in all of their offerings and decided what we were going to pick out, and they had some adorable fall treats out too!

Lots of good choices, a pretty shop, but unfortunately the employees were packaging candy without gloves and a turtle was handled bare-handed. Still ordered a couple things. The marshmallow caramel was very tasty! Thank you for that.

Love this candy shop. Lots of wonderful things to choose from. It was decorated for Halloween when we went, which was fun. Staff was busy, but was worth the wait. Believe me, we did not leave empty handed!

Impeccably decorated on the outside, window displays, and inside. Definitely some old school candy store vibes. Tons of chocolate options and you can tell the owners really put a lot of effort into the store.

Salt water taffee has the best flavor I've ever enjoyed. Too sticky to remove from paper it was wrapped in however. Lost 1/2 product due to this. Tried refrigerating with little success. Frozen works and paper is easily removed but is hard on teeth. Is there a better solution?
Nan W — Google review
Despite it saying online that they sell vegan fudge, they do not. They do have some vegan chocolates but not much without nuts. When I asked if they had vegan fudge, the cashier tried to tell me making vegan fudge isn't possible. When I told them it actually was, she got very defensive and irritated with me. Also, none of the customers know what they are doing and where the lines start and end. Very unorganized.

I love this candy shop. They make their own chocolates and have a variety of things you just can’t get anywhere else. Too bad they often run out of things. I’m particularly fond of the marshmallow enrobed in caramel or chocolate fudge or both.

Brickyard Hollow is a great place to go for pizza. They have a variety of sauces to choose from, so you're sure to find one that suits your taste. Plus, they have some really delicious toppings available, like chopped romaine lettuce, capers and garlic croutons. The Caesar dressing is a nice touch, and it's always good to enjoy some fresh greens on top of your pizza. Thanks for choosing Brickyard Hollow!
At this point, Brickyard Hollow is expanding faster than a tourist line at Red’s Eats. Every time you blink, there’s another location — and somehow, they’ve managed to keep the food, service, and chill Maine vibe totally intact across the board. We hit up the Ogunquit spot this time, which has the unique charm of feeling like you're walking into a bank — if that bank served killer pizza, crisp salads, and local brews instead of overdraft fees. As expected, we loved our dinner to-go. The online ordering experience was seamless, our food was ready right on time, and everything was fresh and flavorful. No matter how many outposts they open, Brickyard Hollow keeps delivering the goods. Keep 'em coming!

Over the weekend we had our wedding reception here at the Ogunquit location, and it was absolutely perfect! Everything turned out better than we could have imagined. The service was exceptional, and every staff member we interacted with was so kind, professional, and attentive. The entire day ran seamlessly thanks to their incredible team — they truly went above and beyond to make our day so special. We couldn’t have been happier and can’t wait to come back for dinner soon to relive a little of the magic!

Great location for a bar meal with good value food. 15 min wait was fine. Service was great. Busy location with fair amount of parking off of route 1.

The deck is great and allows dogs! They didn’t have any lobster rolls despite in the review section saying they did. The clam chowder was nothing to boast about but the fried hot chicken sandwhich was full of flavor and the French fries were amazing! They had a seasoning on them that made them irresistible and they were thicker cut. The IPAs were delicious as well!

Knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient service, great variety of good pub fare. We shared a blueberry pizza (crazy, right?), and an appetizer of meatballs. Served up with Downeast Cider, and a decent red ale, well recommended by our server. Server was incredible patient and helpful with the young family next to us, very family friendly place. Highly recommend.

Stopped in for a quick bite and a beer! Beer was fair, with just a hint of microbrewery aftertaste (MBAT). I had an IPA, so that backend bitterness is partially stylistic. My wife has a red ale, which the MBAT was more subtle. Pizza is ok, but I prefer an airier crust vs this was on the dense side. Sausage has a little more kielbasa flare to the taste, and it was cooked a little more than what I like. My wife couldn’t eat it and had to remove it, I’m mostly carnivore and was glad to eat the extra😊! The pizza itself was not over cooked, it was just right, sauce is on the sweeter side. Service was a little slow, but maybe they were taken by a busier lunch crowd then typical. The server was very nice, just couldn’t keep the pace.

Wanted to try this brewery. Beer is decent and the food was good. Pretzels, pot stickers, clam chowder, burger were all great.
Lisa C — Google review
Great little place and the only thing that prevents this from being a five-star review is a lack of Stouts as part of their brews. Evidently IPA's are very popular in this part of the country so they have more of that style of Brew than anything else. They sell flights in sets of four so we just had a single flight to get an overall feel for the types of Brew available. I hate to admit it as I'm not normally an IPA fan, but hands down my favorite Brew was a Latchkey NEIPA that they have on draft. They do have a full kitchen here and specialize in pizzas but we had a sub and brussel sprouts both of which are very good. They have a decent-sized bar and great indoor seating but no outdoor seating that we observed. Anyway great little brewery in this part of Maine.

The Old Village Inn, affectionately known as OVI, is a historic establishment offering homey rooms and suites along with an English pub and a fine dining restaurant. The warm tavern-style interior welcomes all visitors, whether they choose to dine in the pub or bistro. Both areas offer classic comfort food presented beautifully. Reservations are recommended, but casual diners are equally welcome. This B&B provides year-round lodging with many rooms offering scenic views of the ocean and Ogunquit River.
We had such a brilliant time at The Old Village Inn in Bembridge. The menu has a fantastic range of proper pub favourites and every dish we tried was absolutely spot on – generous portions and full of flavour. Andy and his staff couldn’t have been more friendly or welcoming, creating a lovely relaxed vibe throughout. The atmosphere is just perfect – warm, buzzing, and full of character. A real gem of a pub that we’ll definitely be coming back to! Lots of love from the thick as folk on table 15

Nice restaurant, lovely interior. I haven’t been to the old one so I can’t compare to that. The lobster and grits were great. Feels classy enough for a date. Not great for kids or families — they certainly will make an effort to accommodate food for kids based off whatever is available in the kitchen, but if you have picky kids in your party you may have an easier time somewhere else.

This unassuming restaurant blends into the facade of the other buildings but its far more interesting and delightful inside. From the sophisticated bar area and cozy fireplace setting, the dining room is open and airy. Its comfortable and tastefully designed. The service was friendly and casual, like dining at a friend’s house. The drinks perfect and the dishes superb with great portions, flavorful, and balanced. Absolutely loved it!!

Great location, close to the beach with easy parking. Lots of excitement and amenities in the heart of a cozy, busy beach town. The food was AMAZING, the chef and team were very accommodating, aware, and attentive. I had an amazing experience after the new opening. Shout out to Josh and Molly! Highly recommend!

This review is for the restaurant. The service and food were outstanding. Even though it was a Monday, we had a special birthday dinner in their lovely restaurant. We had no idea they had such a great bar there too so next time we will go to the bar for a cocktail first. It was another wonderful experience in Ogunquit.

My family absolutely adored the Old Village Inn under previous ownership. It was quaint, maybe a little outdated, but the staff was always pleasant, food was amazing at the restaurant and you can't beat that location for an overnight stay. Unfortunately, we are less than impressed with new ownership. When attempting to use a gift certificate given to us shortly before the ownership change, we were told the gift certificates would not be honored. This was after multiple phone calls to ask about this, and never receiving phone calls back. At one point we were told to email a copy of the gift certificate to the owner (it was a paper certificate) but that email was also not returned. When doing research, we found that gift certificates in Maine can have no expiry, and most cases would be a deferred liability during the sale of a business that usually is honored as a good business practice. No such luck here. We are actually very disappointed in this, as many of our family and friends loved spending weekends here. We will have to look for another spot to call our home away from home from now on (too bad we're out $1000 though)

Driving down the Maine coast line we decided to stop in Ogunquit to see the town and wander about. The Old Village Inn was just an average Inn to spend the night. No breakfast is available, but there is the Village Market a few steps away that served coffee and breakfast. The rooms sit about the bar and restaurant so the noise level is very high until closing time around 10 pm. We were on the second floor with a room above us letting us hear the walking and moving about upstairs. The room was compact with a king size bed and a small bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. The Wifi is really weak, maybe getting 2 bars most of the time. Overall, not a bad spot to spend the night for the $107 we spent.

Absolutely amazing food and service. The pear and goat cheese salad is to die for and one of the best salads I ever had! My scallop entree and drink were also very tasty and flavorful. Will definitely return to this gem when we make another trip to Ogunquit.

So Zap is a laid-back Thai eatery located in Ogunquit, Maine, offering a thoughtful menu of slightly-tweaked-yet-familiar Thai recipes. The restaurant's creative and authentic dishes tempt diners to explore beyond their usual Thai food choices. Despite its coastal location, So Zap surprises visitors with its authentic Thai fusion cuisine. The trendy eatery serves up delicious appetizers and cocktails, with the Pad Thai being a standout dish.
Food very good, had pad thai and pad see ew there. Good service waitress very hospitable. Will return next visit to maine!

Long-time customer of Mekong Thai in kennebunk i've been going for 15 years. Occasionally, we go to Wells Mekong Thai location as well, so we decided to give So Zap a shot. First, I'll say it's very overpriced, the menu is 30% more than similar restraunts. I paid $52 for 2 entrees and no appetizers. I would have ordered appetizers if they weren't $12+ each. (Also no appetizer combo) Now, this pricing would be justified if they provide better food and portions, but this was not the case. The restaurant was dead too, not a customer in sight. Lady who took my order and cashed me out was very friendly. Now for the really bad Im 99 % sure the rice portions served were microwaved in a fold and close bag. Also the bagged rice only filled half the box so not enough for the entrees. See my images. You can see the steam formed inside the bag from microwaving it, and the plastic was like sealed closed from melting a bit. Really disgusting, I don't understand why they prepped it ahead like this it's similar to what a chain restaurant like Tgi Fridays or something like that. Gf was very upset about the rice bag situation neither her or I have ever had it comes like this. Also the lack of rice for her green curry. (Shrimp unpeeled) Now i have to make my own rice.. THIS IS NOT OK FOR $52 BUCKS PLUS TIP! This is an upscale Thai restaurant in an expensive town. You can't serve rice in a baggie like that! You can't charge more for an inferior experience. Mekong thai has never cut corners like this. It's worth the drive just go there. (Especially Kennebunk) 2 stars because im feeling jolly this Christmas week but should be a 1 Sorry guys, get it together.

Friendly staff and fresh tasting food. The “flavorful” part is hit or miss. The pad see ew was wonderful but the pad Thai was near tasteless. The dumplings were not exciting and the fresh spring rolls were missing the characteristic chilled shrimp. Biggest issue was the small portion sizes and above average prices. Each serving was just enough for one person rather than a standard Asian restaurant 1.5-2x portion for that price

So Zap in Ogunquit, Maine, is a fantastic find for anyone craving authentic Thai cuisine. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the nice atmosphere and inviting patio area, perfect for a relaxing meal. The menu offers a wide variety of food and drink items, making it easy to find something for everyone. I ordered the hot basil dish, which was full of flavor. I requested a spice level of 2 on their scale of 1 to 5, and it had a kick. My husband tried the pad thai, which was delicious and perfectly cooked—not too dry, just right. Overall, our experience was very positive. The food was amazing and truly authentic. While prices are a bit on the higher side and the wait for food could be improved, these minor issues are easily overshadowed by the quality of the dishes and the pleasant atmosphere. So Zap is definitely worth a visit if you're in Ogunquit and in the mood for exceptional Thai food. We can't wait to return!
Justin H — Google review
Is it authentic? Idk, I haven't been to Thailand, and neither have you. Let's be real you'd probably hate the food there, Sharon. This place has been and still continues to be my FAVORITE Thai food spot as a well travelled American who hasn't been to Thailand. By far. I highly recommend crispy chicken pad Thai or drunken noodle. And the crab rangoons too, but nothing on this menu had ever done me wrong since my first visit in 2013
Cameron D — Google review
Positives Friendly staff and good food. While the drunken noodles was a bit down, no biggie. Negatives I found it quite pricey, especially for the portion sizes. A typical dish would be $12-15 at most places, here the prices start at $19, with smaller portions.
Rahul N — Google review
Billed as Urban Thai so don't expect typical Thai fare. The chef who created the menu however, excelled. The sauces are fresh and a tasty new twist on the original, giving ordinary dishes interest. Not spicy. At all. Will have to ask for some heat if you're inclined. Dishes are a little bit on the sweet side, but still oh so yummy! Not crowded. Pricey but fair. Open only for dinner.
Marylou K — Google review
We ordered takeout via online and it was easy and convenient. It was all average. I was really looking to be blown away like others who reviewed, however was not. Maybe it was an off night or a different chef. Here was our order: Chicken Pad Thai - bland in taste and didn't look like the other photos of a deeper color. Golden Bags - crispy and ok filling mostly 75% corn. It was ok for us. Drunken Noodles - tasted good chicken and beef Thai fried rice - bland and good enough for the kids Seafood Pad Cha was good overall it don't have the look I expected from the other photos, maybe because it was takeout Ka Prao Gai had a good taste, but could have been great if there was not so much of a watery sauce. Side of sticky rice - perfectly cooked I might go back to try it again on the deck instead of takeout.

No lie, I’m not one to order the same dish over and over again, but I am going back to The Front Yard to order the mushroom truffle pasta all over again. We love Ogunquit, but it can be a tricky spot for dinners. I guess that’s the price of being a postcard-perfect coastal town in Maine? So when we find a place like The Front Yard, you’ll hear us raving about it for a while. We made reservations based on other reviews, and since we were doing an Ogunquit staycation, it just made sense. So glad I listened to those five-star reviewers — we absolutely loved it. We were lucky to grab a patio table (not gonna lie, I don’t know if I would’ve loved it quite as much without the al fresco vibe), and it was the perfect summer (spring?) dinner. We ordered a bottle of Riesling — they have an extensive wine list, with some affordable options — and it paired perfectly with our meal. For apps, we went with the burrata and squash dish and the fried calamari. Both were solid, though the burrata could’ve used a bit more flavor. Definitely not the best I’ve had, but the entrées more than made up for it. My husband’s pesto pistachio pasta, topped with burrata, was excellent, and like I said... I’m still dreaming about my mushroom pasta. Our server was super attentive, even though the place was a little busy. We really appreciated that. And PSA: don’t even try to go on the weekend during peak months without a reservation. We saw folks getting turned away left and right!

Five stars all around. This meal was phenomenal. We got the seafood chowder, mushroom gorganzola flat bread, seafood risotto, rack of lamb, and lemon cake. Easily one of the best meals I have ever had. Our waiter Duke was very attentive. Thank you so much!

The front yard is amazing. I went on a Wednesday night and I did not have a reservation so I sat outside at the bar. There are fire pits and bocce ball and a grassy area where kids were playing. The cocktails were outstanding and the food was excellent and well presented.

Had a great meal at The Front Yard. Cocktails and service were excellent. Wife and I shared the duck and the seafood ala vodka which were both divine! Taking a star off for the laughably small watermelon “salad” that was 15 bucks for a few small cubes of watermelon.

Very welcoming atmosphere. Meghan our server was fantastic; she and the chef were so respectful of my wife’s food allergies that it made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Started with 2 generous pours of martini with great olives. Had the chowder then the swordfish both delicious. My wife had a generous piece of salmon. All in all great restaurant, great food, great service. Thank you!
Charles C — Google review
Had not tried this place before so gave it a go this evening. Dining area is very pleasant and, being a Tuesday in off season, it was fairly quiet. Drinks came out quickly and service was excellent. My friend's swordfish was truly excellent. My seafood risotto was good though not a stand out. Dessert was delicious.

Went for dinner with a group of other moms, and everyone was very happy. The food was delicious, as were the drinks. I had a pasta dish that was perfection. And I could have easily eaten any dish from our table and would have been just as happy. The only downside was that the creme brulee was over done, or was curdled because of the added lemon (not sure which) but they took it off our bill. I can't wait to go back and bring my husband.

Splash is a casual beach bar that overlooks Ogunquit Beach. The drinks are expensive, but the view and decorations are worth it. There's plenty of seating, whether you want to sit inside or out on the patio.
It goes without saying but the entire staff at Splash make it worth going (Tracey, Evan, Avery etc). It’s newly renovated and incredibly comfortable inside (the AC is a royal reprieve on a long summer day). It’s hard to argue that it’s the best beachfront restaurant in Ogunquit as it’s the only beachfront restaurant in Ogunquit! You cannot beat the view. Experiencing the waves crash against the deck makes you feel like you’re on the edge of the world. Can’t beat it. Pro Tip: it can get busy - but your patience is well rewarded once you’re seated. Live music in the summer is a plus.

What a great spot! I sat on the outdoor patio, with the ocean directly in front of me. Was very sunny and light breeze to begin with. When the wind changed, they said we could move inside and they also offered to put down the sides of the patio (plastic shades for protection) which I thought was nice. Inside was welcoming, nice and bright. Small bar, clean restrooms. I think I heard them say they'd done some remodeling. They'll do great! Waitress was very friendly and chatty. I'd go again.

Not a good experience. $34 for lobster roll and it was not good. Dry. Asked for butter to dunk - butter was cold. Ask for mayo to make a better sandwich- Mayo was warm.🤮pic is fish taco- still cold in the middle.

What’s better than a great breakfast… one where you are right on the beach watching the waves come crashing in, dogs frolicking and kids playing in the surf.
Judy B — Google review
Restaurant was fine for breakfast. Food was good but a little plain. We were there in October so it is understandable that the porch seating had plastic covers over the open air area bit they could have been in better condition. The tables were slat tables and you could see piled up old crubs in the slats. That was a bit gross.
THE L — Google review
I have loved Splash for more than a decade. It’s been a go-to easy breakfast staple that we’ve recommended to many friends and family. However, on our last visit to Splash were treated horribly. The hostess went to get our table ready and a waitress barged out and snapped at us “you need to wait outside so people can ACTUALLY get through!” Mind you we were not blocking any door nor were we told where we should be waiting. She was SO rude! After being seated we were in the most awkward table barely able to sit our family even when many other roomier tables were available. The food is mediocre at best. The waitress we had was absolutely lovely though. All in all though, there are much better places in OGT and we won’t be back unless that horrible waitress is gone.

My wife is gluten free so we had planned on going here for dinner during our anniversary trip to ogunquit. This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been too. The service was absolutely amazing I wish I remembered who the woman was that served us. She was 20/10. On top of that the food. Wow! Amazing. Hands down the BEST wings (smoked wings) I have ever had. Overall wings too. The gluten free options were so good I even got a Caesar salad with gluten free buffalo chicken Sonny wife could try it. Amazing. This is our #1 restaurant to stop at next time we are in town. Keep it up and don’t ever change!

This was the absolute best place we have eaten at in a 5 day vacation. It has a huge bon fire outside but the staff and quality of food and taste is beyond words. We ordered the garlic parmesan chicken wings which were smoked and so meaty and tasty. Then for out entrees we had the smoked BBQ ribs and the smoked lobster. The smoked lobster is an absolute gem. You MUST TRY IT. We sat at the bar because we didn't want to wait for a table. The 2 bartenders were so nice and helpful with our selections. I wish we found this place earlier and not our last dinner. We would have eaten here at least 2 to 3 more times.

We had a great experience at Beach Fire Grill. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and well taken care of; friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to make sure everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious. The baby back ribs were tender, flavorful, and fell right off the bone, while the New York strip steaks were cooked to perfection, juicy, seasoned beautifully, and full of flavor. Every bite showed real care and quality in the kitchen. It’s rare to find a place that gets both the food and the service so right. We’ll definitely be coming back soon and recommending Beach Fire Grill to friends and family!

We met friends at this Rt. 1 restaurant in Ogunquit, since we'd all driven by multiple times and wanted to enjoy the fire on early autumn evening. The fire pit doesn't actually have a place to put your drink down or eat an appetizer, so we just enjoyed a quick cocktail there before heading inside. The other option outside was a few picnic tables, but there are no heat lamps and they're too far from the fire to benefit from the heat, so the cooler temps forced our hand. Inside, it feels like a very casual local bar with friendly service. The place was buzzing on a week night in early October. We all got variations from the Smoked Meats and Burgers menu. The servings were good size, especially the Pulled Pork topped Fries. We also ordered the brisket platter, the Piggy Burger (pulled pork topped burger with bacon & cheddar) and The Beachfire Burger. The food was good and the meat was tender and moist. One of the group ordered a blueberry pie for dessert and we all commented that it was the smallest slice of pie we'd ever seen. The pie wasn't as good as the entrees, but it was decent, despite being undersized. Friendly service, casual atmosphere, a fun location with a cocktail menu and full bar, this is definitely a good place for a group. A solid choice in Ogunquit when you want something other than seafood. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 stars

Went there for the first time with a party of 6 and we were seated immediately. It was about 5pm on a Thursday night, so we were happy that their wasnt a wait even though they looked busy. The huge fire pit outside was cranked up and burning hot despite the rain. Our server was great, the apps came out quickly, and the food came out surprisingly quicker for a BBQ joint. Im used to longer wait times at places like this so that was a present surprise. Everyone, including the kids, loved their meals! The lobster mac is HUGE! Smoked wings and smoked lobster were the allstars for me! Loved every bite!

Footbridge Beach is a picturesque and serene destination located in Ogunquit, New England. It features three miles of wide sandy beach that stretches from Main Beach to Footbridge Beach and North Beach. While it is smaller than the main Ogunquit Beach, it offers equally pristine white sand and gorgeous views. The beach is less crowded than its counterpart, making it an ideal spot for a calm and relaxing day by the shore.
An absolutely beautiful beach with a really cool wooden footbridge walkway to get to the beach. A good amount of paved parking also!
Cynthia F — Google review
Footbridge Beach is hands down one of the top beach destinations in Maine. With its long, wide stretch of soft sand and pristine cleanliness, it’s the perfect spot to relax, sunbathe, or take a scenic stroll. The beach is accessible by a short, picturesque walk across the self-titled footbridge, which opens up to a truly stunning coastal landscape. There’s ample paid parking nearby and while restroom facilities are on the smaller side, they get the job done. No dogs allowed. The only real downside? Navigating Route 1 traffic during peak “summah” can be a pain. But honestly, that’s a small price to pay for this beautiful, peaceful slice of Maine coast. Plan ahead, get there early, and enjoy one of the cleanest, most beautiful beaches in the state.

Ogunquit Beach is a popular summer destination known for its large expanse of white sand, making it perfect for activities like swimming, sunbathing, and picnicking. It has gained recognition as one of the best beaches in the United States, with accolades for its beauty, cleanliness, and stunning sunset views.
This beach has always been a favorite of mine! It has never been overwhelmingly crowded any time I have been there. Going on a drizzly day in May, we were basically alone and it was beautiful! This is a nice beach to go to when you're looking to enjoy the beach itself as there isn't much "stuff" on the beach (no boardwalk, restaurants, etc.). There is stuff nearby in town, but this is a beach you go to to enjoy the ocean.

This beach was so beautiful. The whitecaps were perfectly patterned against the backdrop of the coastline and were so refreshing to play around in. This beach was one of the cleanest I've ever seen, and the water was pristine. It was busy but not overwhelming.

The beach is nice. The parking is 15$. There’s a beach side and a kind of pond that’s a bit warmer with no waves, also big rocks on the right of the beach, and nice waves, but the water is cold. Overall nice variety and view, with bathrooms and lifeguards.

We visited Ogunquit Beach on a Sunday in October and couldn’t have been more happily surprised! The tide was low, which made it absolutely perfect for our two little girls to run and play. They loved chasing seagulls across the wide stretch of wet sand and splashing around in the shallow pools formed by the tide. It was so beautiful and peaceful, with plenty of space to spread out. Flying a kite was a highlight, and watching the girls run free in such a safe, open area was wonderful. It turned into such a fun family day—Ogunquit Beach is definitely a gem, even in the off-season!

The BEST beach. Amazing beach, cold crisp clear water .. amazing river side for exploring- and loads of beach area for playing in the sand or small tide pools. If you her hungry there is plenty of food near by or a short walk up town. Favorite beach by far especially if you have kids who love to swim and explore.

This historic 1920s theater hosts live music, stand-up comedy, silent films, and drag shows throughout the summer season. Additionally, it serves as a hub for the Ogunquit Arts Colony with art galleries showcasing local artists' work.
We had an amazing time at the drag show, and the girls coming together and serenading me “Happy Birthday” was awesome. I also have to tell you about the fancy grilled cheese sandwich, it has goat cheese | sharp cheddar | brie | oaxaca | honey | sweet peppers… it was amazing….. wonderful food, great people and fabulous atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back!!

Very surprised when we walked into the theater. Lovely and charming atmosphere . Friendly staff. Saw a free movie, Had dinner and drinks. Simple menu, but the food was delicious. Taylor was like a one man show very accommodating .And Lauren, our waitress was helpful in suggesting what to eat and drink. Paid on line for the comedy show. Wish they would have been better prepared to preform that night.

A wonderful night out at the drag show, dinner (Mac Burger was yummy), and cocktails (No Friends at Dusk & Negroni-both excellent). General admission seats in the center were perfect or a high table if you want to be part of the show.

Had such a blast this evening attending the Lady Luck burlesque show! Our group got a table, we enjoyed incredible food, (the thai clam chowder is to die for), superb drinks and an amazing show. I cannot get over how beautiful and warm the atmosphere of this 100 year old theater is. A must see show!!

I’ve been here several times including for a wedding reception. The drinks are superb. The food is great with late night options too. The staff have always been kind and attentive. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner and the dude works hard to execute a venue/bar/restaurant to make for a very unique spot unlike anything else in the area. Recommend!

It was our first time there, the burlesque show was amazing. The girls were incredible, all different in many ways, yet all beautiful. The building is old and in great shape, the staff was good. Highly recommended, go see a show, you won't be disappointed.

OMG, the Grilled cheese is to die for!! So was the HotDog fried in duck fat until they stopped selling it recently. That new Ciabatta sandwich was good!!! The cold asparagus salad was DELICIOUS!!! Didn't like the bitter tasting Caesar Salad but the silent movies and staff were great. Such a good time!!!! May 15th 2025. We saw "A Star Is Born" The 1937 Version. My partner Got a grilled cheese with chips. Nothing on the menu wowed me so I passed. I only ate chips that came with the sandwich and water. When we finished, we went up and sat on a couch and finished the movie.

There is no better feeling than when you haven’t been able to visit a place you love with your entire soul, between ownership, staff, and the guests, to order a smash burger, like you used to, a couple years later. And it’s still the best. The leavitt theater is a staple, a heartwarming staple we are all privileged to enjoy. The crispy bun. The perfect pickles. The everything. If you haven’t been, go. I could say so much more. But just go. Enjoy 💙

If you're in the mood for some delicious ice cream, head over to Sweet Pea's! They've got a variety of flavors that will Satisfy your cravings. Their staff are super friendly and the service is quick so you can get back to enjoying your treat.
Excellent quality ice cream, and great flavor options - death by chocolate and big green were huge hits! More than that, the staff were so nice and accommodating — even when changing orders several times with the kids! Great ice cream spot in a special town!
Dustin N — Google review
Terrible service with untrained employees. Employees were counting their tips in front of customers instead of serving them. 3 people ordered small cones. Size disparity not acceptable and when inquiring how they can call it the same the reply was ‘I don’t know’. Counter person did not know what a shake is or how to ring it up. It was a very thin barely flavored cup of milk. Terrible.

I’ve been coming to Ogunquit for years, and every time I’m here I have to stop at Sweet Pea multiple times. Hands down the best ice cream! My personal favorites are the strawberry, Mocha Chip, and Death by chocolate.

With a line all the way down the block waiting to get ice cream, not sure what else could sell this place. The coffee ice cream was very creamy in texture and incredibly delicious, while the staff was friendly. Our kids loved their ice cream - was well worth the wait!

Great location downtown. Lots of amazing flavors to choose from. Reasonable prices for the location of the shop. Order your ice cream and eat outside, the place is pretty tiny but cute! There are benches out front to sit on which are under a beautiful tree for shade.
Rebecca C — Google review
The ice cream was good, the view was great. I'm giving four stars just because they don't let you try/sample ice cream flavors.
Emil S — Google review
My favorite part of this ice cream spot is the big tree out front that provides shade on the benches so you can eat your ice cream and cool off. Plus, we were given magic spoons that changed colors in the cold ice cream. This entertained my toddler and I for quite a while!

This home made ice-cream shop has a wonderful variety of flavors, 3 different cones and 4 or more sizes of cups to choose from. The ice-cream is delicious and the staff was amazing efficient at receiving and producing our orders very quickly. This is on Shore Drive and the evening foot traffic is heavy yet we only waited 5 minutes or so and then our group of 6 ordered and it was all very well done. There are benches outside where we sat and ate and watched people go by. This was our 2nd time to Sweet Pea's and we'll go again and often.

Lobster Point Lighthouse

Historical landmark
Lobster Point Lighthouse, built in 1948, is situated along Ogunquit, Maine's Marginal Way nature preserve and shoreline walk. Accessible via Stearns Road, a visit to this lighthouse offers a refreshing stroll through a rose garden and the invigorating scent of the ocean. It's renowned as one of Maine's finest lookouts where visitors can spot whales in summer and various seabirds in winter.
Had a great time exploring and working in Maine. I absolutely love it here. So much to see !
Mimi J — Google review
Very pretty area, Parking is limited as this is a residential area, the walking path had incredible views!
Craig C — Google review
When you hear the word "lighthouse" you picture a towering building by the shore saving the lives of sailors, and this, ain't that. It's only like 15 or 20 feet tall, but, it's adorable and scenic, and it sits right on the Marginal Way near scenic Ogunquit. The scenery is gorgeous and there are other attractions nearby. Worth the stop.
Brian P — Google review
Beautiful coastal trail to see this cute little lighthouse! Unfortunately it is surrounded by residential housing and there is no parking here, the street parkings have sign that say permit parking only.
D ( — Google review
Lobster Point Lighthouse isn’t your typical, towering beacon perched high above the sea, but that’s what makes it such a unique spot to visit. Tucked away in a quieter, more serene corner, this lighthouse offers a charming, low-key experience that’s perfect for those seeking a peaceful escape. The lighthouse itself is smaller than most, but its beauty and simplicity are part of its charm. The real highlight, though, is the short but scenic walk that leads you to the lighthouse. The trail is easy and accessible, making it a pleasant stroll for people of all ages. Along the way, you’ll be treated to stunning views of the surrounding coastline, with the sound of waves crashing nearby. It’s the kind of spot where you can just stop, breathe, and take in the scenery without being rushed. One thing to note is that parking is quite limited. There are only a handful of spots, so it’s a good idea to arrive early if you want to ensure a spot. But if you do manage to snag one, it’s totally worth it. The lighthouse feels more like a personal discovery than a tourist attraction, which makes it all the more special. While not the typical grand lighthouse, Lobster Point offers a peaceful and beautiful slice of coastal beauty, perfect for a short stop on your travels or just to get away for a bit of tranquility. Whether you’re a lighthouse enthusiast or just someone looking for a nice walk with stunning views, this place is definitely worth a visit.
Uchizi P — Google review
This Lighthouse is only about 20 ft tall and is still used as of this day. It sits on the Marginal Way Clift Walk in Ogunquit ME. and the views are breath taking. Nice walking path in front of it and lots of people walking on that path. This Lighthouse was built in 1948 is in very nice shape. Rumor is its disguised as a pumping station for sewage, but I have not been able to confirm that.
Gulf T — Google review
Small lighthouse at the end of the road with an immediate turn around. Only permit parking and one disabled spot near by. Checked off our “lighthouse list” well worth the drive to see it. The entire area is great just mind the traffic.

Wow what a beautiful view from this point. The light house is beautiful. But in typical New England style .No No No .No parking No stopping just No. Sad that Maine needs to get it's tourist act together.

Italian restaurant
Nestled just outside the lively Ogunquit town center, Caffe Prego is a delightful indoor-outdoor café that captures the essence of casual Italian dining. Surrounded by lush gardens, this seasonal hotspot invites guests to enjoy their meals under a vibrant awning or in cozy indoor seating. Known for its delectable thin-crust brick-oven pizzas, each pie is crafted with a unique house cheese blend and can be customized with an array of toppings.
One of my favourite restaurants in Ogunquit- you HAVE to try Quattro Stagioni pizza (one quarter of each topping- olives, artichokes, mushrooms, prosciutto). Save room for the gelato whoopie pie and affogato!! Outdoor seating on the deck has an ocean view depending on where you sit!
Zoe G — Google review
We have been to Caffe Prego a few times. This time, four of us came for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and got right in. Service was pretty good, although I think there was a lite bit of a language barrier. After our bruschetta appetizer, We all ordered sandwiches. I had the chicken caprese panino, which was good. The crusty bread and soft mozzarella was a great combo. My critique, I think the orange awning gives everything an unsettling color, as you can tell from the pictures, and the music was slightly too loud. Other than that, we had a nice time.
R. R — Google review
As a local, we get to taste the best Ogunquit has and Caffe Prego is one our absolute favorites. Zach and Donovan make sure everything is perfect with their amazing food and service. Their staff is friendly and very attentive whether you sit at the bar or in the dining areas. Caffe Prego is a must for anyone who enjoys authentic Italian food or just a gelato for dessert. Enjoy!
Rick A — Google review
We wanted a pizza and chose this place. Caffe Prego did not disappoint. They have a good selection together with other menu items. The pizzas are 11", a decent size and have generous toppings, you will not go hungry here. The waiter was attentive and friendly. Can easily recommend Caffe Prego.
Steve P — Google review
The food is where this place shines. Everything we got, from the bruschetta to bolgonese were stellar. There really aren't words. If you're visiting Ogunquit area and like Italian make this a must visit place. You will not regret it.
Rebekah B — Google review
We were with a group of 12 people. We had no problems with the service or even with the waiter, but he judged that we were not in a state to drink. However, we are people who like to have a good time and we remained respectful at all times with the people around us. The waiter took two glasses directly from our hands. We have been on vacation here for three days and we have never had such disgusting service. Talk with us, find solutions, but take away our glasses? I am sorry, but I do not recommend people to come to this restaurant, especially when a premeditated judgment is made by an employee for the rest of our evening.
Félix R — Google review
We stopped here for lunch and I ordered the chicken panini sandwich. The chicken sandwich was made with chicken lunch meat, tomato, basil, and mozzarella on Wonderbread. It was disappointing and I feel the kitchen can do better at $15 a pop. Real chicken and maybe a ciabatta roll for the panini at minimum. Our little group will try a different restaurant next time. The staff were pleasant and the view from the deck was lovely.
Sandy C — Google review
Our family’s first night in Ogunquit and we chose Cafe Prego for dinner. It did not disappoint. The service was excellent. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was also excellent. The pizza crust was delicious and the salmon special was top notch. Also do not miss out on dessert. The gelato selection was vast and yummy. Would definitely eat here again and recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Reggae music. La Pizzeria name. Don't let it fool you. That 🦞 roll was WOW! Toasty bun, loads of fresh, flavorful meat; perfectly seasoned...it was sad to take the last bite🥲 My daughter got the chicken pesto sandwich; also a fabulous choice.😋

We just got into town and there’s an approaching storm so we placed a delivery order (gave a large tip and it wasn’t raining yet, we’re not total jerks) and everything was FANTASTIC. We were able to get pizza, beer, and dessert delivered directly to our hotel and everything was hot and delicious. We will definitely stop to dine in later in the week!

This was a great pizza! Fast delivery, pizza was hot when arrived and the crust had the perfect amount of crunch. The pepperoni were excellent.

Extremely disappointed with the management. I went out to dinner with my girlfriend, ordered pizza and drinks, and ended up biting into two pieces of glass that were baked into the pizza. When we brought it to their attention, the manager showed no concern and didn’t even offer to comp the meal or properly address the situation. Completely unacceptable and dangerous.
William A — Google review
I don't expect amazing pizza this far north of the city, but I do expect my utensils not to have food from the previous diners on them. Also, you really need to add more tomato sauce. The place looked great for a pizzeria and everything else seems to run like a well--oiled machine, though.

Came here off season on a Saturday night. Place was busy and service was good but food was not at all. The atmosphere at Hooks Chill & Grille was fantastic. I really enjoyed sitting outside on the patio, although I think it would have been even better in the evening when the patio lights were on and looked charming. The server was very down to earth and incredibly friendly. The food itself was delicious and had a great burst of flavors. I highly recommend getting your tacos with grilled corn tortillas if you visit.
The food is fantastic!! Good happy hour! We rarely go to the same restaurant twice while on vacation but made an exception for Hooks. Service is excellent.

Great place for a fun dinner. Open atmosphere with lights at night. The service was adequate they were all young kids working their summer jobs. The food was good but it’s not a place for foodies. It’s pretty basic and there isn’t much original. All in all a relaxing place for a drink and to meet friends.

Hooks used to be our favorite place but we stopped going after a few bad experiences. We decided to give it a try for a quick bite to eat and we were pleasantly surprised. Service was fantastic and our food was amazing! The portion sizes were definitely bigger which never happens these days. The Ahi tuna was so tasty and a big portion compared to what I have had in the past. I got one chicken taco that was huge and it came with a side salad. I was able to take half home for another meal. My daughter had clam chowder but it wasn't typical. It had bacon and celery and she was raving about it. She hates veggies so this was huge. We can't wait to go back with the rest of our family. Hoping it will be just as good!

Food was very good. We had the burrito and quesadilla. The street corn salsa was amazing and the guacamole was super good.

My family stopped here for lunch on Saturday 9/6. the food was decent! but the service? truly some kind and special staff. my son is 6 and on the spectrum. I ordered for him the brownie sundae, hold the whipped and chocolate syrup. I should have known better and asked for the ice cream to be separate, but I forgot. we ordered the sundae to be brought out with our meals, however as I know how it works in the kitchen, the dessert staff did not know this, so the brownie sat for a minute. when it was brought out, the ice cream had melted all over the brownie and I was unable to avoid a catastrophe. my son was ready to have a meltdown. so I just bit the bullet, and asked the food runner to please bring me a plain brownie. he immediately understood the assignment, as he asked me if I wanted the brownie warmed up. I said no thank you! but this was a very thoughtful question. the server came over and immediately apologized for not hearing me ask to remove the ice cream and I assure her it was not her fault, but my own. and that I was happy to pay for the extra brownie. they were so kind, and I want them to know how much I truly appreciate their kindness. she did not end up charging me for the extra brownie, and that almost made me cry. the food might not bring me back, but the service absolutely would. thank you so much for allowing this mom to continue her meal to the end, meltdown free 💜

Good atmosphere, especially the bar/ outdoor seating. Wide open, but covered, which gives it a chill "island" vibe. They have a good beer/ drink list and the food is good, with some different takes that might be unusual for some. The bartenders and staff are right on.

I have been to hooks a few times in the past and always have loved it. I recently developed a shellfish allergy, this was my first time back since that allergy development and the server was AMAZING about it. He at first let me know that there may be cross contamination in what I ordered so he and the cooks decided to cook my meal in a different pan so I didn’t have to worry about it. I truly appreciated the honesty and how they went out of the way so I could have it.
Alexandria L — Google review
The vibe here was awesome. Loved the patio seating, though I wish we visited in the evening instead of lunch because the patio lights looked cute. Our server was down to earth and wonderfully friendly. The food was flavorful and fresh. I do recommend if you get corn tortillas with your tacos to request them to be grilled. I got blackened haddock and the fish was cooked perfectly and the pineapple salsa and ginger slaw really hit it out of the park. My partner got a burrito bowl, which she enjoyed. The rice and bean ratio was high, but we got another meal out of it. Overall, a good time!! I'd definitely go again.

The property consists of five buildings, offering various accommodation options from residential locations to oceanfront resorts.
Views from the balcony were amazing, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hot tub was great with powerful jets, and the temperature was perfect. We went to the Beachmere Inn just for lunch, and it was the best lunch we’ve had so far on our trip! I ordered the Caprese sandwich on gluten-free bread and it was absolutely delicious, 10/10. The service was excellent as well. To get to the restaurant, you enter through the front door of the inn and it’s located right inside. Prices were fair overall, with a mix of casual options and some high-end items. Definitely worth a stop!

Stayed her October 2024 for a girl's trip and let me tell you, one of the best trips I've ever taken. The room has a small kitchenette which is so nice to have. EVERY room faces the beach. The staff were lovely but by FAR the thing I think about STILL TO THIS DAY is the apple cider that the chef made FRESH EVERYDAY. the restaurant is also 100% worth it. Just overall an absolutely magical place

Over the past 5 years my husband and I have stayed at the Beachmere for our Anniversary. We always stay in the Victorian Building, we absolutely love the charm the building has. Usually we stay in room 9 which is a basement room with an amazing rock wall feature. This year will weren’t as lucky to get that room but still we were excited to stay in the Victorian Building and celebrate our Anniversary. We had an issue with our shower at 8pm the first night, my husband went to to the desk to ask if someone could come check it out tomorrow ( not thinking at 8pm someone would come check it out), immediately Phillip came to check it out and when it couldn’t be fixed that night they moved us to an amazing room in the Victorian Building. Phillip even offered to help us move our bags. If we weren’t already in love with the Beachmere and staying there for our anniversary this definitely would’ve sold us. We had an amazing vacation, and can’t wait to be back next year. Oh and to add the day we were leaving Phillip was helping Ogunquit Fire Department rescue ducks from the storm drain. That man deserves a raise!! Thank you to all the Beachmere staff you are all wonderful and we look forward to staying with you for many years to come.

This is a great place if you want to be in walking distance to everything! There is easy onsite access to the Marginal Way. We had a first floor unit with a queen bedroom and two twins. The kitchenette in these rooms is very small but it’s definitely enough for a couple of days with a small fridge, hot plate microwave and tea kettle. The massages were very nice and it was great to get that onsite. We could walk easily into “town” and to Perkins Cove. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Me and my fiancee stayed here for our honeymoon this past week (monday & tuesday) and we loved it! we arrived and they had swan towels and flowers on our bed, and they had set it up all comfortable and sweet. multiple towels were given to us to use too which i loved. Our room had a perfect view of the ocean which was beautiful, a nice kitchenette and we were also able to doordash which we were thankful for. We did a lot of fun activities around the beachmere like karaoke night, shopping, a lighthouse look and good eating! I will say everyone here and around Ogunquit is extremely nice. We felt welcomed as queer people really and it was so emotional. I actually cried at the towel swans because no one has ever done that for us!! Very beautiful. My only cons about the beachmere is that a lot of the buildings are a walk away, so like at night having to walk around to different amenities and having to walk far to your room with far parking is kind of hard. I am also disabled so I cant speak for everyone😊 The elevator is vintage which is cute but definitely hard to get into with lots of luggage and having to close the doors. Truly I get why they do it though. Its old-school and cute. Our door to the guest area got stuck and maintence helped us immensely so that was nice. I will say we had people in a room next to us shouting and swearing so that was a downfall because we were trying to relax and we almost had to call and complain :( we were nervous to though. so I guess my con there would just be its very quiet but you can hear guests that are loud and I wish the room was more soundproof so we couldnt hear it as much. Anyways though the beachmere was truly gorgeous stunning amazing and we could not be more thankful we got to stay here. You have to check it out!!!

Jonathan's Ogunquit is an upscale seafood restaurant and concert venue in Maine, offering a fancy dining experience with a casual and welcoming atmosphere. In addition to its culinary offerings, Jonathan's hosts various concerts featuring renowned artists such as Judy Collins, Paula Poundstone, Howie Day, Buckwheat Zydeco Jr., Sawyer Fredericks, Bob Marley, and Tom Cotter.
We were in town on a busy night and it was my birthday. I didn't want some loud, crowded, overpriced place where we had to fight to park. (Which is quite common in Ogunquit). I found this place. It was absolutely perfect. Got a reservation. Parked right out front. The restaurant is beautiful. With gorgeous lighting and gardens all over. Very relaxing, welcoming vibes. The staff was so sweet and even had a birthday card waiting for me at our table. We sat in a beautiful room overlooking a garden. The food was not only delicious, but the presentation was so artfully done. Gary, our server was attentive and friendly. The whole dining experience made for the perfect, relaxed birthday I needed.

We have had dinner here many times since the first year that Jonathan’s opened. I’m impressed that they, including our charming server Edith, handled the pre-theater crowd so efficiently. I had the homemade pasta with mushrooms, and had leftovers. My husband had fish and chips, my sister had seafood plus appetizers. The restaurant is especially convenient from the Meadowmere, just a short walk. We also enjoyed the Judy Collins show, and had assistance by Max when I booked the wrong time for dinner that night. Thanks for good cuisine and great service!

Coming back for a show and dinner soon. REALLY RECOMMEND HIGHLY. Also, side note they have adorable stands at each table for purses, umbrellas or canes etc.

Great spot. All the meals were great with fantastic flavor. The restaurant is unique inside but definitely has a cool vibe for an area staple. The best part is the intimate concerts they host upstairs.
Steve C — Google review
This spot was disappointing for me. We were here for the $1 oysters on a Tuesday night. Our server seemed to judge us for not ordering alcoholic beverages but then forgot to enter the blueberry lemonade that we did order. Also didn’t bring us any water as we requested. When our lemonade finally came, we honestly couldn’t tell if it was blueberry flavoured or not. Truly overpriced lemonade and disappointing. He also tried twice to pressure us to order more oysters. Oysters themselves tasted good but they some of them were pretty small in size (my suspicions say they serve the smaller oysters when they are $1). I will say that the flatbread and salad were delicious! When it came time to pay, a random other server we had never seen dropped the card machine off on the table for us and left. Never saw him or our server again. Just all in all awkward interactions one after another and we will not be returning here. We were so uncomfortable and wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible.

Jonathan’s was our choice for our 20th wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection (they nailed halfway between rare and medium rare!), tender, and tasty. The mashed potatoes could’ve been a meal on their own. So delicious. Our staff, Joel and Gary, were tremendously friendly and cordial. This restaurant holds a placeholder in us for a repeat visit when we’re in Ogunquit.

Our bus tour stopped here for dinner. The meal was delicious. A city's vinaigrette salad with freshly baked rolls started the meal. Stuffed halibut with summer squash and mashed potatoes was excellent. The crispy topped apple crisp finished the meal. Staff were well organized and prompt.

Cafe
Nestled in Perkins Cove, the Cove Cafe has been a beloved family-run spot since 2001. This cozy nook offers a homey atmosphere and serves all-day American breakfast from May through October. Despite its small size, it's a popular choice for locals and visitors alike, so arriving early is recommended, especially during peak summer months.
Food was great!! We got scrambled eggs and then split the Blueberry Waffle…which I highly recommend. That was the winner, it was so delicious. The restaurant is small so if you want a guaranteed seat, you should go right when it opens. But we went around 8am and waited about 10 minutes. Worth the wait for that waffle!
Michael M — Google review
Worth the wait! Party of two waited for ~30 minutes on a Thursday morning arriving at about 9:15. We sat at the bar each was fun to see the servers and kitchen staff working hard through the breakfast rush. Incredible lobster omelette ($34 MP), plain Belgian waffle with real maple syrup, homemade muffins, great service. Beautiful interior with real hardwood floors. I just loved this place! Park in the big lot next to Perkins Cove Kitchen. $25 all day. Take a look inside the Perkins Cove bookstore and the Knotty Sailor right next door while you’re waiting.

This cozy little place is clearly a local favorite — and for good reason. It’s small and always in high demand, so be prepared to wait unless you arrive right when they open. We first stopped by around 9 a.m. and the line was too long, but when we came back around 11, we still waited about 25 minutes and it was worth it. The staff are welcoming and friendly, the portions are generous, and everything has that comforting, home-cooked feel. The relaxed, warm atmosphere makes it the perfect place to start (or end) your morning. The food was fantastic — one of our friends ordered the Eggs Benedict and swore it was the best he’s ever had.

Cove Cafe has a comfortable, charming, quaint and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing unrushed breakfast near the ocean/Marginal Way. My husband said the blueberry French toast was the best French toast he’s ever had.

First timers here but we were told this was a great spot from friends that always stay in Ogunquit. We got to the café around 11 and it was packed! We put our name in and they told us about a 35 minute wait. I always hesitate to wait that long when I am trying a place for the first time and I have two Hangry kids with me, but holy smokes this place was worth the wait! Delicious food like the crab cakes and lobster benedict didn't last long once it was put in front of me. The rest of the family had similar results after ordering the waffles and french toast! We all loved our meals, and agree it was worth the wait. Definitely recommend checking this little place out! As you can see from the pictures, everyone dove into their food before I could get the full picture!

One of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. We got the last table before they closed the doors for the day. For sure harder to get into but for a reason. I had a simple breakfast: eggs, bacon, toast, potatoes, but it was one of the best quality breakfasts. the ingredients were top tier, the bacon was thick cut and freshly cooked. Coffee was yummy, they had specials that looked great. So quaint and sweet inside, perfect maine breakfast joint.
Review G — Google review
Stopped here for breakfast but there was a 50 minute wait so opted to get take out. Tried the crab cake breakfast sandwich which was very good. Also tried a nitro ice coffee but I personally was not a fan of it. The service was very accommodating. I would definitely go back another time

Fantastic breakfast place. The portions were big and the food is delicious. It fills up pretty quick, so get there early (was approx. 30 minute wait at 8AM).

Marginal Way Preservation Fund

Non-profit organization
The Marginal Way Preservation Fund offers a stunning 1.25-mile coastal cliff walk in Ogunquit, Maine. This well-maintained trail provides breathtaking views of the ocean, Perkin's Cove, and Lobster Point Lighthouse. The path is lined with beautiful houses and hotels on one side and features benches and memorials for relaxation. It also boasts a variety of birds, flowers, and trees to admire while being accessible to both handicapped individuals and baby strollers.
Marginal way cliff walk is 1.25 mile walk with plenty of benches to stop and take a rest. We started the walk in Perkins Cove Ongunquit. Park your car in the lots and preceed to walk into Perkins cove to the end of the street. Marginal Way has a pathed path past Stanley hotels and inns and rocky beaches. You will pass the small lobster point light house and from the path will notice Ongunquit beach. It's a beautiful walk and a must for photographers. I spotted many different birds and I enjoyed capturing the ocean views and all the georgeous plant and flowers. If you continue to the end on the path you will end up near The Sparkhawk OCEANFRONT RESORT on shore Drive.

Absolutely Beautiful Walking Path. It's Flat w/ Breathtaking Views! They Have Gorgeous Native Flowers Along the Path. Skies Were Overcast, But Definitely Worth Visiting. Would Go Again!

So happy we stopped here! We enjoyed walking the Marginal Way by the water. Town looked cute but spent the majority of our time down on the Walkway. It was a beautiful September day and views were amazing. Easy walking for everyone to enjoy. Definitely worth your time to stop here. Plenty of public metered parking and a few "free" spots if you arrive early enough.
Bonita K — Google review
What an incredible 1.25 mile walk and trail and views and friendly people and oops 😬, sorry! A well maintained trail with incredible views of Ogunquit's coast, Perkin's Cove and Lobster 🦞 Point Lighthouse. Beautiful houses and hotels align on on side with benches and memorials to sit or to read. Variety of birds, flowers 🌸 and trees to stroll past. Accessible to the handicapped ♿ and baby 🚼 strollers. There are a number of hills on the trail. Pets are not allowed between April and August. Jim O'Donnell has a very informative review of the Marginal Way. One end of the "This is the Way" is near where Google Maps says it is, 23 School Street. There is a parking 🅿️ lot close to that location. The Google Maps entrance is actually next to Sparhawk Oceanfront Resort. The other end 🔚 is on Perkins Cove. The center is at Lobster 🦞 Point Lighthouse on Sterns Road. Limited, but free 🆓, three hour parking 🅿️. Another access point is at Isreal Head Rd, but, there is no parking available. There are multiple areas to walk down to the ocean 🌊. Swimming is discouraged due to strong currents and no lifeguards. Donation boxes are at both ends and the center. Yes, I made a contribution! I highly recommend this walk. We walked back and forth in over an hour. My friend, she liked it. My son must have enjoyed it, he high fived people on the walk. There is a website where you can watch live video from the, I believe, Lobster Point Lighthouse. Enjoyable view of the sunrise 🌅 along the ocean.

The Marginal Way cliff walk in Perkins Cove, ME is an approximately 1.25 mile long walk one-way from the entrance on Perkins Cove to the end on Shore Road between two hotels, the Spar Hawk and the Anchorage. It is an easy walk along a paved pathway, lots of benches for both viewing the ocean and resting, and some minor elevations. Very nice views of rocky beaches and the rugged coastline. The name Marginal Way refers to the “margin” between the land and the sea. We haven’t been there in a few years, but today we enjoyed all the recent improvements with railings, a new wooden bridge, more benches, and several stairways down to the rocky beaches. Very pleasant. Parking is a little difficult in Perkins Cove. Fwv

Beautiful walk in Ogunquit Maine. Sea side walk along the coast. Many picturesque places to stop and enjoy the waves slamming into the rocks. There are places along the way to that a cool swim.
Chuck M — Google review
Absolutely beautiful! It's an amazing walk along the coast on a well maintained walkway, with gardens, benches, monuments, and even a lighthouse along the way. It leads to a great little beach and through the back yards of some gorgeous resorts, and out to a main street filled with little shops. The views of the ocean and the rocky shoreline below are unforgettable. You will love it and tell others about it for sure!

Spoiled Rotten is a quaint gift shop in Ogunquit that sells a variety of personal care products and souvenirs. The shop is well-loved for its amazing rose-scented candles, which often sell out quickly. It's also a great place to pick up little gifts for friends and family members. Very fun boutique store that has lots of cool items. Friendly staff. Kind of a tight space so just be careful.

Spoiled Rotten is a delightful store. The house is beautiful and the flags on the porch, as well as the beautiful landscaping, called to us. Two kind and witty clerks were minding the store when we stopped in on Wednesday, June 12. They answered all our questions and helped us select gifts to take back to friends. We ingered longer than usual, taking in the history of the building, shopping, and talking to the clerks. We left with 2-3 bags of treats and gifts. I hope to return.

Restaurant
Describing the Bonissoni Brazilian Steakhouse as a traditional and authentic Brazilian steakhouse, the venue offers a variety of meats that are then carved onto your plate in rounds. There is also an unlimited sides bar with dishes like polenta, cheese bread, mashed potatoes, fried plantains, collard greens with garlic, and grilled cinnamon pineapple.
I was very impressed with this Brazilian steakhouse. It’s the only one in Maine that we could find. It’s roughly $100 a person after drinks and tipping for me and my wife on our anniversary it was 155 plus tip. And we live near Augusta so it was a 2 hour drive. All that being said we felt it was worth both the money and the drive. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect. I think we will be making Bonissoni a tradition for our family. We did visit pre tourist season so it wasn’t filled to capacity so for us quite enough to have a civilized conversation the music was helped set the perfect tone and the staff was friendly and non intrusive but still attentive. They take reservations and based on where they are located I would definitely recommend having one

We have wanted to go here for years. We finally went tonight. It was amazing! The drinks were delicious. The meat was all cooked to perfection and the sides were perfect. We had dessert drinks and loved them. The servers were attentive but not hovering. Great experience all around!

We are celebrating our honeymoon. This place did not disappoint! They have 14 different types of meat and salmon. This is a flat rate with drinks and dessert being separate. This restaurant was so good. The staff and flow of the restaurant is well done. They explained how the ordering works, what you are eating and your satisfaction throughout the meal. We will be back. Well done team!!!

My husband and I took the weekend off to stay in Ogunquit for a little us time and we have been to the Brazilian steak house in Boston so when we saw this place we knew we had to try it! Hands down 10/10 recommend over the one in Boston everything from the food, the luxury atmosphere the calm serenity, the family style instead of the buffet was chef’s kiss! The sides were not overwhelming and the main event was the meat! perfectly seasoned perfectly juicy melts right in your mouth nothing too chewy nothing tough, absolutely loved every moment of it. The drinks, the hospitality everything from the moment we walked to the moment, we left was just remarkable. We will definitely be coming here again !! I would give this place more stars if I could ! Very happy !

An amazing experience of cooking and tasting (food and drinks were exceptional), it was a delightful experience from start to finish. Staff were friendly and attentive with outstanding service, and the place is clean. The combination of incredible food, outstanding service, and a great atmosphere makes it a must-visit.

Wanted to try out restaurant been hearing good things about it. The restaurant is very nice and staff is great. At a table of three we checked six sides and only received 3. All three at our table wrote medium rare and only 2 of 6 cuts of meats were on point. Lamb, steak, chicken, pork, and salmon were way over cooked. That being said the flavors of everything were excellent, the ribeye, prime top and pineapple were perfect. Overall great evening, but not exceptional for 90 per person.

Patio 03907 is a new restaurant located behind the Old Village Inn in Ogunquit. It offers both indoor and rooftop dining with ocean views on Main Street. Visiting the area from California. So glad we stopped here. Not long after we sat down the owner, Tony, spoke to everyone then went table to table meeting everyone. We were impressed! Then we got our food - amazing! The haddock was excellent. I've had a lot of chowder in my years but the chowder here was one of the best ever! Great service and food. Highly recommend.

First time there what a wonderful experience! Drinks, food, sauces, atmosphere all wonderful. Everything was amazing the owner Tony made us feel right at home. “The patio bar was a great place, had a great owner for kids” - my 7 year old nephew said. Thanks for giving them a tour! We can’t wait to come back next year
Morgan D — Google review
Honestly it was pretty disappointing. I asked about a couple items that were market price and ended up making a last second decision to try the lobster pizza. The waiter seemed pretty disappointed that most of us weren’t drinking. The bottom was burnt and I should have said something so that’s on me. But when we got home and were paying everybody back for dinner, we realized that our server quoted us the wrong price and we were actually charged almost forty for the pizza instead of almost thirty. We called and were reassured the pizza would never be the price we were told. But that was definitely what was said because I never would’ve ordered it otherwise. It kind of seemed like he thought we were lying but he told us he would give us ten dollars back if we made the trek back the next day. So, it was at least rectified but it took another trip. I will say the fries were good but we were kind of looking for more.
Kendall R — Google review
Lovely place with New England vibe, sat on the patio/ terrace with a view, beautiful weather The man up there was a Superman, he took care of over 20+ guest alone, from cleaning, seating, to taking ordering, bringing food, refills etc etc. At the same time a big smile and very kind. I give the 5 over star for him. Food was good, especially the haddock sandwich with fries, perfect fish, fresh and the buns light and fluffy delicious. Fries were delicious until the last one, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The fried shrimp coat with fries, the fries again great, the shrimp were okay, 8 pieces, fried and did not feel like a main dish but were still good. Would definitely go there and order the haddock sandwich Loved the ambiance, siting out in the ocean breeze and beautiful music playing 😊

Prices are very reasonable for the area. Generous pours and friendly service. The owner, Tony, gives a speech of appreciation several times a day and greets each table. It was our honeymoon and he gave us complimentary champagne and helped us with other local recommendations. Such a nice guy! I would recommend this place to anyone that visits as a great casual stop.

So happy we took the walk down to That Place because it was by far the best meal of the trip. Service was perfectly paced and the food was delicious. The carrot cake might have been one of the best I’ve ever had as well! If you are on the fence about trying it out, just do it, you won’t regret it.

⭐️10/10 dining experience! ⭐️ Lively atmosphere, great service, and spectacular menu. The bar was crowded and the restaurant was packed when we showed up for our 7:30 reservation. Our server, Andy, was polite and extremely serviceable. I ordered the new england clam chowder and a tuna dish that delivered on all fronts.

Had a wonderful wonderful dinner with my wife. Started with a perfect dirty martini and cosmo at the bar. We were seated right on time with our reservation. App was the blue cheese mussels that were perfectly seasoned and amazing flavor. My wife had the filet, cooked perfectly with a great crusty sear and tender medium rare. I had the lobster pie, which was decadent. Service was impeccable. We really enjoyed this masterpiece of a dining experience!!! I know I said some form of “perfect” three times but man, they nailed it!

Our FAV place in OGT. 5* all around (the bar side does get a lil loud in eves just FYI - sports and laughter et al). Food is always great! This past week, my husband had the seafood haddock and loved it. He usually gets the fillet and it’s always cooked perfectly. This time I opted for-the lobster roll very lil butter no mayo, and I got a side of their smashed potatoes, instead of the fries. We have had nachos(THE BEST) and the pizza too. Oh hubby loved Pork Chop in past, and my all time fave was the special. -Halibut.It was incredible Staff- Tim, Rick (owner), Andrea, Macy… and the chefs 👨‍🍳-the entirety of staff are wonderful. I don’t know his name, but the valet who parks the car is there every time we go, and he is Professional and sweet Recommendation: call for Reservations Bar, and high top seating, is first come first serve, and always full with locals and regulars traveling. The dining room is lovely (5*) quiet for romantic dinner, open enough for big family dinner, or groups of friend. Big windows, fireplace. Outdoor seating on shore road seasonally Cannot wait to go back Open year round! Ty Cathleen Collins of Cathleen Donald Antiques Boston

First I will say the owner Ricky is a gentleman. His staff is so friendly and hard working, from the valet, to the waiters, Tim the bartender are all excellent. We have always visited the bar but finally had a chance with the kids to have dinner. We all enjoyed the French onion soup and escargot. My kids had the pizza and loved it. My husband loved the pork chops, I had the fried chicken and my mom had the seafood trio. All were excellent. That Place is a friendly spot in Ogunquit we always visit when we are in town and would highly recommend.

Italian restaurant
Roberto's Restaurant in Ogunquit is a traditional Italian restaurant with an upscale but casual setting. They serve fresh, authentic food and are known for their lobster and veal parmigiana. They have been serving customers since the 1970s and continue to be a popular dining destination.
Front porch intimate romantic meal with excellent service. Lobster Pappadelle off the hook- cooked Al dente with wide homemade noodles- creamy buttery sauce with plenty of tender lobster. Seafood Fra diavolo equally as delicious with perfectly cooked pasta in a nice spicy sauce with tender lobster, shrimp and scallops. Get the blueberry pie - warm and so sweet on the tongue with whipped cream. Add in some cold draft beer and wine and coffee. Highly recommended!
Michael S — Google review
Tried this place even though the reviews were not great. I will say we ate at Roberto’s pizza not the main restaurant. Unfortunately you could tell the quality was just not there. The dough was so thin and clearly did not have time to rise which leads me to believe it was frozen. The service was great and the outdoor dining was cute but for a $28 14 inch pizza … do better

My boyfriend and I dined here on a sunday night. We got the seafood risotto and the lasagna as entrees, and caesar salad and garlic bread as apps. Everything was absolutely delicious. Service was incredible. Our server Flor was attentive and so polite. Would 100% recommend
Ava G — Google review
My husband and I honeymooned in Ogunquit just over five years ago, and tonight we returned with our one- and three-year-old. Let me tell you—it absolutely lived up to our memories. Everything was divine, and the service was above and beyond. When my one-year-old daughter kicked over my full glass of wine, our incredibly kind and generous server simply said, “What? Nothing happened,” cleaned it up, and replaced it with a full glass within seconds. The owner, who is such a kind and genuine woman, seated us herself and set the tone for the entire evening. And the food… oh my goodness, the food. As two former foodies now limited in how often we can go out with little ones, this meal was a true gift. I took home the last few bites of my lobster pappardelle because I couldn’t bear to leave them behind, while my husband ate every drop of his cioppino. Together we devoured the carpaccio, and it was perfect. The kids’ linguine came with two huge meatballs in red sauce that instantly transported me back to my Italian grandmother’s kitchen on a Sunday afternoon. All I can say is thank you to the owner and staff at Roberto’s for giving us such a wonderful evening on our last night of vacation. We’ll be back.
Anne S — Google review
Nice establishment, clean and appealing. The staff is friendly and attentive and caring. Beverages were good. My wife and I both had the garden salad 👍 with their homemade Italian dressing 👍🥰👍. My wife had the lobster risotto which she loved. I had the chicken parmigiana with linguine which, I hate to say, was the worst I've ever had. It was barely room temperature and the seemed like it had been hammered to the consistency of shoe leather. It looked appetizing but I struggle with every bite and only got half way through and gave up. The linguine was hot and palatable but the parmigiana sunk the meal and ruined the experience. My wife tried a bite and said, " How can you eat that? Send it back!" I probably would have, but we had tickets to the Ogunquit Playhouse so time would not be on our side. I really hate leaving bad reviews, but the dish was bad. However, the overall experience was good and we just might give Roberto's another try.

The service was excellent! The lobster bisque was delicious. I ordered the lobster ravioli and it was out of this world. Some lobster mixed with a cheese blend stuffed inside, so much lobster on top in a creamy sauce. Definitely plenty of lobster for some in every bite of my dinner. I thought the price was good and have eaten there before and will go again. Delicious and Wonderful!

We had such an amazing experience. We had a party of 6 for my friend’s wedding party, we did not have a reservation and they were able to seat us immediately. The food was incredible, drinks were kept full and they treated us like royalty. Definitely recommend this gem!

Very nice atmosphere, but I’m giving only two stars because of my inadequate dinner. I ordered the ravioli with Lobster. The ravioli was a few fairly flat pillows with little flavor, but the lobster was most disappointing, they appeared to be from baby lobster claws maybe an inch long with barely any meat whatsoever. I could barely even see them. Not at all what I expected for the price for an Ogunquit restaurant.
