Tanger Outlets Riverhead is a popular shopping destination on Long Island, offering a wide range of brand-name and designer outlet stores. With 132 stores in total, visitors can find everything from clothing and shoes to housewares and luggage. The food court provides diverse dining options for all tastes, while convenient car-like carts make it easy to navigate the complex with little ones in tow.
In my opinion, one of the best outlets if you are looking for various types of brands. Quite a large number of shops and options you have in Tanger. Easy access from, ample parking and very helpful staff in each showroom. Weekend evenings are the best time to visit where you can find less crowds and many deals and offers.

Extremely disappointing experience at Theory Riverhead I visited the Theory store at Tanger Outlets Riverhead last Saturday and was very disappointed by the unprofessional and unfriendly service from one of the staff members. When I asked about available discounts and coupons, the employee responded in a very dismissive and unhelpful way. Even more frustrating, during the checkout process, our payment had not yet been completed, but the staff abruptly turned away to serve another customer without finishing our transaction. As someone who appreciates Theory’s brand and quality, this experience was completely unexpected. Great products should always be matched by respectful and attentive service. I hope the management reviews this matter seriously and ensures better customer care in the future.

Tanger Outlets Riverhead in Riverhead, NY isn’t just a great place to shop—it’s also a surprisingly stunning visual experience right from the parking lot. I have to say, the painted parking lines deserve their own praise. Each line was crisp, bright, and perfectly straight, giving the lot a clean, organized, almost artistic look. The white paint contrasts beautifully with the asphalt, and the spacing is so precise that it feels almost choreographed. Even the pedestrian crosswalks were freshly painted and aligned perfectly with the flow of traffic, adding to the overall aesthetic appeal. Walking across the lot, I couldn’t help but notice how the fresh paint seemed to highlight the neat rows of parked cars, creating a sense of order and symmetry that’s rare in a shopping center parking lot. The edges of each line are sharp and consistent, with no smudges or fading anywhere in sight. It made parking feel effortless, because each space is clearly defined and visually appealing—almost like the lot itself had been designed as part of the Tanger experience. Inside the outlet center, the layout and signage are just as well thought out. Stores are easy to find, walkways are wide and open, and the landscaping around the buildings complements the perfectly lined parking lot outside. The whole environment feels tidy, modern, and welcoming. Tip: Arrive earlier in the day for the best parking spots—they’re as beautiful as they are convenient! Between the amazing parking lot and the enjoyable shopping experience, Tanger Outlets Riverhead sets a high bar. Overall, I give Tanger Outlets Riverhead 5 out of 5 stars—from the gorgeous painted parking lines to the quality shopping, it’s a top-notch experience that I’ll be returning to again and again.
Joshua H — Google review
Of all the Tanger outlets we have been to , this one is best in my opinion since the parking for cars is centrally located with the shops arraigned in a circular type fashion. The sidewalks are covered so even if it rains on any given day you can stroll to where you need to and not worry until you need to fetch the car. The trees strategically placed in the lot give it a real nice vibe. It is very safe to shop with plenty of spots to sit while your family shops and bathrooms are never too far away. Thank goodness they are no shopping carts.
Alex M — Google review
Great place to shop. Fantastic hospitality and lots of options in the stores.

We went to Tanger Outlet with my family as part of a 3 weeks vacation in the USA. Needless to say that this was one of the highlights for my family. All the brands we wanted where here with some really good deals. We shopped in: Nike, Underarmour, forever21, etc. We even bought two cases in Samsonite for a decent price.
Paul V — Google review
First time back in about five years and nothing has really changed. All major retailers are available and not so busy. Very wise spread with more than ample parking. Retailers are all fairly priced with nice service.

This charging network in the Tangers outlet in LI. Riverhead seems to be totally useless for customers. I wasted the better part of an hour trying to get it to work, unhelpful customer service. charge stations that have no marking whatsoever to ID the unit for charge?!? why put these machines here if they're not even useful for the public? what is the point? I suspect to pocket the money the state programs give, screw the customer who actually need it to work! the Tangers mall person responsible for the Shell installation should be fired and ashamed for not verifying the usefullness of it's working at all? I point you to the comments on the play store for the shell App. mostly all 99% say the app is useless! why? I suggest to go back to Charge Point stations, they actually worked, however needed maintenance. Useless!!!

Splish Splash Water Park is a sprawling 96-acre destination in New York, offering an array of thrilling water rides and attractions suitable for all ages. From the heart-pounding 40-foot drop on Dr. Von Darks Tunnel of Terror to the leisurely family raft rides through a tropical rainforest landscape, there's something for everyone. The park features over 20 exciting rides, including the high-speed Riptide Racer and the Giant Twister water slide.
It’s such a big nice park. My first time here, many rides lots of things for babies and kids to enjoy! I really loved how wide spaced everything was nothing was to crowded. I really loved the structure of having a staff give you your tube and having to than go to the ride makes things go by quicker. My son had the time of his life and so did i! 10/10 one of the best water parks we have been to! Also super clean and staff are really nice. For it being just the two of us we enjoyed so much! The park is cashless but they have these atm machines where you add your cash and get a free Visa card which can be used anywhere outside the park after.
Chelsea M — Google review
It was a nice place I would recommend it everyone who wants to go or think about going there it's a good experience, lots of rides lots of things In terms of a water park experience, also a good place to take your mind off the stress of the week of work. But my only Surprise was I did not know that the food was so expensive it is very costly to buy food from there but I understood from some people that there is a package you can buy to save some money on the food so next time I decide to visit there again I will try the package. But all in all it's fun especially to see all the kids and also the adults enjoying the rides and also you meet all types of people there black white different nationalities so it's a nice place to visit and my personal experience it mattered a lot having been among all these different nationalities of people was quite good considering the climate that we are in right now in this country.

My first time going to Splish Splash with my 5 and 7 years old boys. We went on Friday on the 1st day of Summer break. The park was empty due to the cold weather. My kids had fun at the wave pool, lazy river and Stingray bay. The staff was friendly and the lifeguards was on top of everything. It was nice that the park had a lot of seating and shade from the trees. We will definitely return next time we head out east.

If you are looking for a clean, safe and fun water park, consider Splish Splash. But i recommend buy the ticket online. the Ticket on the gate will cost you $74+ but you can get online at $55. It will save you hassle on que to purchase ticket plus you save $20 bucks. They will scan your online ticket so get straight to security when you purchase your ticket online, They also have season pass, which will be good for frequent goers. You will get a free refill pf the drinks if you have season pass, but jot bad too for non, you can purchase your first drinks for $17 and .99cents per refill. So when you got 3 pr more refill that’s a great deal! As per water activities, they have a lot of group activity, you just have to strategize your que, because it can get very busy on some water slides. They have a app you can download to help you navigate which ride is open. It is also a must to have a phone water proof holder, and a aqua shoes or beach shoes if you have so you don’t have to worry loosing your slipper. cause a lot of the ride will ask you to take off slippers. But if you have aqua shoes you are good to go. Overall, for a day event it was fun and we had a great time! I found out too, that they have private Pavillon you can rent for private celebration. Oh just FYI, it is cash free. so make sure keep that in mind.
Chef A — Google review
Is very expensive for a one day pass, but other way my kids enjoyed so much here, The slides are suitable for almost all ages. The minimum height is 42 inches. It's absolutely fun. It also has a pool area for smaller children. It has all kinds of shops for tacos, pretzels, chicken, etc. You can't bring in outside food. If you're a pool fan, I recommend purchasing a season pass starting in May. Otherwise, each visit is an additional $70 per person, both children and adults.

An Unforgettable Day of Fun at Splish Splash Long Island 🌊☀️ If you’re looking for the perfect summer escape that’s fun for all ages, Splish Splash in Long Island absolutely delivers. From the moment we arrived, the energy was electric—families laughing, water rushing, and the sun shining down on a park that’s equal parts thrilling and relaxing. We kicked off the day with Dr. Von Dark’s Tunnel of Terror, and let me tell you—it lived up to the name! Total darkness, heart-pounding drops, and unexpected twists had us screaming and laughing the whole way down. Then it was off to Bootlegger’s Run, their famous water coaster. The mix of speed, drops, and water jets made it one of the most exhilarating rides in the park. A must-do. The lazy river? So peaceful. We floated through lush greenery and gentle streams on Hollywood Stunt Rider, soaking in the scenery and recharging between thrill rides. The wave pool was another favorite—big enough to feel like a beach day, with just the right amount of wave action to keep everyone on their toes 🌊. But Splish Splash isn’t just about adrenaline. It’s incredibly family-friendly. The Kiddie Cove and Octopus Pool areas were perfect for younger visitors, with shallow waters, playful structures, and plenty of shaded seating for parents. And the staff was phenomenal—attentive, friendly, and on top of safety without being overbearing. Food options were plentiful and surprisingly tasty—burgers, nachos, ice cream, and refreshing drinks to keep us fueled throughout the day. 💦 Whether you’re a thrill-seeker, a family with little ones, or just someone looking to cool off and unwind, Splish Splash is hands-down one of the best ways to spend a summer day in New York. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Highly recommended! We’ll definitely be back again.

This place was amazing and it's huge!!! 96 acres, and I still didn't have time to see everything. You have gift shops and even an Iohnny Rocketts inside!! They have rides for all and ages!! Definitely will return.

My kids & I love Splish Splash. Very year we buy the season pass which makes it so much fun, convenient, and save money. I have been going since I was a kid myself and now its fun bring my family. Recommend the Gold package with includes unlimited parking. Parking is very expensive, so pay for the difference in 2 visits.

Horton Point Lighthouse Nautical Museum, a historic landmark dating back to 1857, offers stunning views of Long Island Sound and Connecticut. The site features a nautical museum and a picturesque park with well-maintained stairs leading down to a pebble beach. Visitors can enjoy the serene and secluded atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for gatherings or simply unwinding. While the neighborhood has limited street parking, the lighthouse's parking lot provides ample space for extended visits.
My wife and I visited the Lighthouse today. The staff were very friendly and informative. It would have been nice if we were able to go up the stairs to the top, but it was closed. Nevertheless, the day was filled with the surroundings of the Scenic Long Island Sound at its best. Therefore, if you want a nice road trip to a beautiful setting, the Horton Point Lighthouse is the place. ❤️❤️❤️

Beautiful spot. We got there later and the parking lot was still open. Thank you. Saw beautiful sunset. Walked down long steps yo s gorgeous pebbly beach. Great wave action. Beautified stones and a lot of large broken seashells.

very informative tour, short walk up 27 stairs to get to the top, Connecticut roughly 13 miles across the Long Island Sound Lighthouse is open on weekends.
Damian W — Google review
The place looks beautiful but it was not open as indicated on the website, couldn't even get in the parking lot and the town was giving tickets to everyone parked on the street if you didn't have a town sticker. They could have at least leave the gates open so people could park on the premises but I guess the town feels they will make more money by giving tickets, so sad. Those stairs though, they are a killing.
Jardine L — Google review
Nice place! With lovely people who give stories about the lighthouse.
賦拓Hannah — Google review
I didnt go to the lighthouse on my trip here. We had a friends and family gathering o. the park grounds. It is a beautiful place with a pebble beach just below it. The stairs to get down to the beach are sturdy and strong but there are a lot of them coming back up i would suggest pacing yourself if you aren't a very physically fit person. Also the neighborhood that the park is in has permit only parking on the street so be sure to park in the lot if you are visiting for a while. The police were giving out tickets during our time here.
Darius M — Google review
Beautiful park. Perfectly maintained. Should be five stats, but open to Town residents only. You can't legally park without a town permit and the main parking lot is closed when the lighthouse is closed. We kept someone with the car at all times. In the hour that we were there we saw about five cars drive up, look at the sign, and turn right back around. Too bad.

Steak house
Elbow East is a charming spot perfect for a casual ending to a wine-filled day in the area. The restaurant offers steaks marinated with their house-made marinade and pairs them with local wines, creating a warm and summery dining experience. Visitors can also enjoy delicious seafood options like shrimp tacos, seafood platters, and clam chowder with bacon. The prime rib special is highly recommended, cooked perfectly and served in large portions.
Went here for the first time for my fiance's birthday...Everything was soooo yummy 😋 I would definitely recommend and I will be going back soon 😊

The steaks were good cant speak for the seafood. Wait staff was disorganized. Wish there were more vegetarian options. Some of the prices are a bit steep.

Food was good but the dining room decor was outdated. The windows and curtains were very dirty. The sun was in my eyes but the curtains were so dirty that I didn't want to touch them.

We were in the area to visit wineries and stay o er night. Many places closed early b/c of Covid but we found this little spot, perfect for the casual ending to a wine filled day. Shrimp taco basic but really good, comes with fries. Seafood platter is yumm if you like your seafood fried :) The clam chowder is awesome, warning, it has BACON! The key lime cake was awesome!

Excellent! We had the prime rib special. Marinade was delicious. My wife had it without Marinade and it was also delicious. Cooked perfectly. The sides were great also. Large Portions and good service. It's a north fork staple. You won't be disappointed!

I have been to the Elbow room many times. My most recent visit I ordered the Porter house, marinated. The steak was cooked to perfection. It's quite possibly the best steak I've ever had. My hats off to the owner, the chef and the staff. Would recommend the place to anyone
Jim C — Google review
We just ate here. Terrible service from the start, unfriendly, didn’t offer a booster seat for my child, we had to ask. No drink menus, no offer to tell us any options. Flounder was good. The scallops I ordered were the size of a nickel and rubber(26 bucks, for real?). They hardly checked on us or pre-bussed the small table before our entrees. Don’t waste your time or money in this establishment. Overpriced frozen food and terrible service.

Restaurant
Farm Country Kitchen is a charming restaurant located in a renovated farmhouse by the Peconic River. It offers seasonal New American cuisine, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors. The rustic ambiance adds to the dining experience, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. With an emphasis on fresh, locally sourced ingredients, the menu features a variety of dishes that cater to different dietary preferences, including vegetarian options.
Great service with great food and in great company. The review on the Serrano: if it had a little more steak on it it would have been perfect. Review on the Roberto: if there was some bread for dipping it would have been even better but I’d still order it twenty more times as is! Review on the Maria: I was not expecting a marinara pasta salad when I read “pasta salad” but it was tasty. The sandwich itself was really good. It was a tad dry maybe a little more sauce but it was still delicious. We have a wonderfully sweet server and had a beautiful view of the water. We hope we have the opportunity to return during warmer months to really appreciate the view. Thank you for offering such delightful options, Farm Country Kitchen.

I went here with my mom for an early dinner—-the food came out very quickly and all the ingredients tasted fresh! However some of the flavors didn’t quite meld for me. I got the Halibut oreganata with gnocchi. The sauce base was delicious but the breadcrumbs on the fish didn’t have much flavor. My mom’s scallops were amazing but the sauce had so much garlic it sort of took over the entire dish. The view is stunning! We loved sitting outside right by the water. Also our waitress was very kind and attentive.

We drove our to Long Island to visit our friends and the drove us to the Farm Country Kitchen for lunch. Parking is a problem but we got lucky as a car just pulled out as we were arriving. We were greased by a friendly lady and taken to a table under the cover. Table was ok but we did not get a view. Restaurant was full. They also have outside seating down on the grass by the water. We ordered a mix of hamburger, tacos, salad with meat and a turkey wrap. All four reported very tasty dishes. The overall experience was very nice. Will definitely go again if we are in the area.

We went for brunch and sat outside by the water on a Saturday afternoon. Our server, Matt was so friendly and helped us order. The drinks were strong and all the food was delicious and tasted fresh. Will definitely come back for dinner!

I’ve been a chef for 37 years and when I eat out I want the food to be fresh, well-seasoned, and made with care and they deliver. Yes, the view is nice, and the farmhouse is charming, but none of that matters if the food doesn’t meet expectations. I almost didn’t come here because of some reviews, but I honestly don’t think they are fair. If you are looking for a very reasonably priced fresh and delicious meal, then make this your next place to eat. You won’t be sorry. Pictured here is the Stella, a breaded chicken cutlet topped with provolone and prosciutto and just enough sauce, served on a rosemary roll. Served with a side salad and house made dressing. My husband had the steak sandwich served on French bread, also served with the salad.

Absolutely wonderful place to dine at. If driving by you will most likely miss it but it amazing on the river. Food and dessert was amazing and service was fantastic. It is a maze of wonder as you walk through with beautiful views and many different areas to eat to enjoy the different views.

I just visited Farm Country Kitchen and had the worst experience. We were seated outside and greeted by our waiter—a gentleman with sunglasses —but after that, he never came back. We waited about 10 minutes, repeatedly looking at him, and I’m sure he noticed, yet he stayed focused on chatting with the table beside us instead of checking on us. We eventually left without ordering anything. Very poor service. Please train staff to manage all their tables, not just the ones they feel like entertaining.

Seafood restaurant
The Halyard Restaurant is a charming seaside bistro located in Greenport, LI, adjacent to the Sound View Hotel. With a focus on fresh seafood and local produce, this restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with its light-filled dining room and sprawling seasonal deck overlooking the Long Island Sound. The menu features delectable dishes such as fish stew, roasted scallops, arctic char, and fish & chips, all prepared by an award-winning chef.
A Memorable Evening with Stunning Views at The Halyard We recently had dinner at The Halyard and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This is certainly a fine dining destination, offering a well-curated menu with thoughtfully crafted dishes. We found the quality to be excellent – both the fish and pasta dishes we ordered were delicious and expertly prepared. The wine pairings were spot-on, complementing the meal perfectly, and the overall wine selection was quite good. One of the absolute highlights is the restaurant's location. If you can time your reservation to coincide with sunset, you are in for a treat. The views are truly picturesque and contribute to an unforgettable dining atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout our visit. While they seemed perhaps a little inexperienced in moments, their pleasant demeanor was appreciated. The restaurant had a lively buzz, with background music and the chatter of happy diners; it was a bit noisy but certainly manageable and didn't detract significantly from our meal. Given its quality and popularity – it's deservedly considered one of the better options in the area – we strongly recommend making a reservation in advance, especially if you're hoping for a prime table during sunset. Overall, The Halyard delivers a high-quality dining experience with excellent food and unbeatable scenery. Highly recommended for a special meal out.

We are truly grateful for the Halyard for providing such an exceptional venue for our wedding. The space was elegant and beautifully set, creating the perfect atmosphere for our celebration. The food was absolutely outstanding and exceeded all expectations — our guests continue to share how much they enjoyed it. Working with Kelly was an absolute pleasure; she was professional, organized, and made the entire planning process seamless. For the quality of the service, food, and venue, it was an incredible value. We highly recommend the Halyard to anyone seeking a memorable and stress-free event experience.

We had such a wonderful experience at The Halyard for our anniversary! We were able to get the exact reservation time we wanted, and while outdoor seating wasn’t available, the indoor ambiance and service were just as lovely. Our server and the staff were incredibly sweet, the food was delicious. To top it all off, they brought us complimentary champagne to celebrate, such a thoughtful and memorable touch. Highly recommend for a special occasion or romantic night out. ☺️

We celebrated our wedding anniversary here with friends celebrating theirs, and The Halyard made it a night to remember. The baked clams were the perfect start, followed by a juicy double smash burger and a beautifully cooked halibut that was fresh and flaky. A glass of One Woman wine paired perfectly with the meal. We sat outside facing the Sound, and I’d highly recommend it for the views and atmosphere. Our server Robert was attentive and courteous, which made the evening even more enjoyable. Warm, welcoming, and coastal—this is the kind of place you look forward to coming back to.

On holiday from the UK I couldn’t fault the place. Amazing food, I’d recommend the streak, the lobster roll or the crab cakes. They were all truly amazing. We visited in July and the Sunset was a good as the one I saw in Zanzibar. The staff were super friendly and the young guy who served us was fantastic from start to finish. This place is 5 star if I could have given it 6 I would have 👍🏻

Absolutely loved our experience here! The new chef has completely redone the menu and the food is incredible — every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully put together. The service was just as impressive as the food: friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome from the moment we walked in. The location can’t be beat — right on the water in Greenport with sunset views that are absolutely stunning. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality of both the food and service definitely make it worth it. A must-visit spot if you’re in the area!

Had a wonderful evening at Halyard. Service was fantastic, the setting phenomenal, wine list great. My husband's chicken Caesar is one of the best I've tasted. My scallops were tasty but the too salty sauce they were served in detracted. Will definitely return!

Hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. Bill and his team were so attentive and beyond accommodating. The beautiful view and sunset was just an added bonus. 10/10 would definitely recommend! We can’t wait to go back.

Day 2

North side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the north side side of town. Start the day off with Cross Sound Ferry at Orient Point, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Aldo's Coffee Company. All together, your day would be filled with about 8 hours of non-stop fun.

Ferry service
Orient Point Ferry is a convenient and scenic way to travel, offering a pleasant experience with various amenities. The ferry provides easy access to Connecticut, including attractions like Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos. It also offers a relaxing journey with cool views and comfortable seating options. Travelers can enjoy the convenience of bringing their cars on board, making for a hassle-free commute.
Very pleasant! I like this a lot more than the Block Island Ferry! The car is easy on and off drive through. The deck has benches facing the water with a roof that gives shade from the sun. After Labor Day it is not crowded. Such a pleasant trip! The layout of each ferry is different, we liked John F.

The ferry ride from Orient Point, NY to New London, CT was wonderful. The service was great and the ride itself was pretty good. Ferry ride is about 1 hour and 20 minutes. There are plenty of seats to sit both inside and outside with an option to buy coffee, snacks, food and desserts. Bathrooms are available too. We are allowed to enter back into our cars towards the end of the ferry ride.

Wow what an amazing experience. First time I’ve ever taken a ferry with my SUV and it was great. Was heading to Maine from Long Island and decided to try it and it was definitely pretty cool and saved a LOT of driving time.

Traveling up to Boston and decided to take scenic route. Last few times up had us close to five and a half hours. This route cuts an hour off the trip and passes all of the NYC traffic. For a car, driver, and two passengers we paid $122 and got across to New London in an hour and 15 minutes. Could get pricey but totally worth it. Very cool views top!

Orient Beach State Park is a 363-acre park that juts into Gardiners Bay and curves back toward Shelter Island. It's a popular spot for kayaking, cycling, fishing, picnicking, and birdwatching. The park offers limited parking at smaller beaches for those with Southold parking stickers. Visitors can enjoy the bay beachfront, saltwater marsh, and maritime forest while engaging in activities like kayaking, windsurfing, fishing, and swimming.
What a beautiful state park, with clean bathrooms and showers, and a small concession stand. Plenty of shaded picnic areas with tables and grills at your disposal. Gorgeous kayaking opportunities! Ample parking. Had a blast kayaking and picnicking here the whole day.

An excellent park located on the north fork of long island. this park offers multiple scenic, bird trails along beautifully maintained paths. Park itself is well maintained with multiple picnic areas and sports facilities for people to utilize. There are multiple restrooms for people to use and kayak and canoe rentals. There are multiple signs listed at pets are not welcome. However, during the off-season there was nobody enforcing this just saying. Over a wonderful experience the park closes at 4 PM.

This beach is exactly what we were looking for. It’s one of the few beaches you can park at in the North Fork if you don’t have the village permit. You pay $10 to enter the park and then have a beautiful short drive along the water. The beach is quite rocky but beautiful and quiet - there were only 3 families there when we were there. There are easily accessible bathrooms, a couple swings and slides for the kids and lots of picnic tables in the shade of you wanted to bring lunch from the Orient General Store.

Another great park and beach near the very end of the North Fork of Long Island. And not too crowded. Took a walk through the nature trail and saw a few deer.

Park & beach is beautiful. The lifeguard Joseph was so very helpful when I inquired to rent an umbrella for shade for my 90-year-old aunt whose favorite place is Orient State Park. There are no umbrellas for rent. Lifeguard Joseph was so kind as to set up one of his umbrellas for my aunt so she may sit on the bench with shade. Thank you again for your act of kindness to us!! Also, Mary at the gift shop is a gem! Thank you to all #nysparksdepartment

This is a really nice state park, especially out East. In my honest opinion, Montauk is overrated meanwhile here at Orient Point is another great place to go when out East (as a Long Islander). You have a lot of picnic areas with shade, and tables with grills. Parking wasn't a problem. The beach is pretty long, lots of walking plus biking if you wanted to. In the area, there are a lot of good restaurants. Overall, really nice area plus beach especially for families.

Wineries & Vineyards
Kontokosta Winery is located on a 62-acre waterfront farm, and is operated sustainably through wind power. Their wines are honest and inviting, made from grapes grown in the unique maritime climate of the region. With stunning views overlooking Long Island Sound, guests can enjoy award-winning wines while taking in the picturesque surroundings. The winery offers both indoor and outdoor event spaces for gatherings of all sizes.
Fantastic facility. Delightful wines. Good staff. Great grounds. I am a wine aficionado and these wines give me something to savor and seek out the sensations. The Anonometer blends are worthy of deep consideration. So too the white Cabernet Franc - sublime.

This vineyard has great views and an amazing room to enjoy wine. This was one of the most impressive locations my wife and I visited on our April winery trip to the North Fork. We really liked the ability to order from the counter right away and get what we wanted vs. having table service. This is a great place to visit when the weather is warm and it’s one of the few(and maybe the only) vineyards that offers an ocean view in the area.
Michael R — Google review
Wow beautiful! As you drive up to the vineyard you are greeted with rows and rows of vines. The large open space of the winery was nice and had two floors as well. There were some tables with benches and others were standing room only. They have a good wine selection as well as Greenport beers for people with different tastes. They have a huge outdoor lawn space to walk or sit and they have a nice view of the sound.

This is such a beautiful spot for a wine tasting. They have gorgeous tall glass windows so you can look far out as you’re wine tasting. They also have tasting on their back patio. The other side overlooks their vineyard. They had a few different wine tasting options and small snacks. If you want to wine taste overlooking the water they have picnic tables set up near the clifftops. Insta: @TheShahLALand

One of My Favorite Spots on the North Fork I’ve been to Kontokosta Winery a bunch of times now, and it never disappoints. Their wine is always amazing, but lately I’ve been hooked on their Blood Orange Spritz—it’s so refreshing and honestly one of the best cocktails around. The staff is super friendly and really knows their stuff. It’s one of those rare places that feels both welcoming and a little elevated at the same time. You can totally relax and feel at home, but still enjoy a really special experience. Between the wine, the cocktails, the view (gorgeous), the music, and the great bar staff, it’s just a perfect spot. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!
Catherine K — Google review
My husband and I used to love visiting this winery — the views are beautiful, and the wines are excellent. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning now that you have to become a member just to purchase a bottle. I don’t understand why the winery made this change, as it really takes away from the experience. It’s disappointing, but luckily, there are so many other wonderful wineries to enjoy in the North Fork, so we’ll be just fine.
Paola R — Google review
Kontokosta has a beautiful overlook view of the Long Island sound but it is quite a distance from the main building with no additional areas outside to obtain a drink. According to their employees over the last eight months or so you are no longer able to buy a bottle of wine and head outside to enjoy this view, that is at least a few hundred yards away from the main building without becoming a member. So one glass of wine each for my wife and I and we head out to the overlook where there are tables and chairs to relax and enjoy the view but by that time we are done with our wine and then I have to head back to get another glass and repeat. No thank you. This was a favorite spot for my wife and I especially on our anniversary while enjoying the North fork now I can say unfortunately it will no longer be part of our destination plans when we head out to relax through the year.

Bruce & Son is a popular all-day brunch spot located in Greenport, NY. The restaurant offers a locally inspired breakfast and lunch menu, featuring dishes like flourless matcha pancakes and pork belly quiche. It also serves local tap beer and provides patio seating for guests to enjoy their meals outdoors. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant's interior, with its rustic decor blending vintage and modern elements, adds to the dining experience.

This was such a nice, comfortable spot and friendly with several staple brunch foods but with a more international take on several dishes. They also had an amazing and healthy drink menu. I especially enjoyed their candied bacon and saffron butter scone! The only cons were that service was a bit slow and it was difficult to accommodate a large party size but we did stop by, without reservation, at a prime Saturday time slot. I would definitely recommend and return!

Aldo's Coffee Company, located at 103-105 Front St. in Greenport, NY, has been a local favorite since 1987. The owner, Aldo Maiorana, originally from Sicily, roasts his own beans and offers the popular Orient Espresso blend. The cafe is known for its old-world charm and famous buttery biscotti that can be shipped worldwide. Unfortunately, like all good things, this beloved establishment will soon come to an end.

Breakfast restaurant
Crazy Beans Greenport is a popular 50s-style diner located in the village of Greenport, New York. The eatery, which opened its first location in 2012, offers generous portions for breakfast and lunch along with espresso and cocktails. The diner's nostalgic 1950s decor creates a cheery atmosphere for enjoying substantial plates such as omelets, breakfast burritos, sandwiches, and homemade soups.
Savory and sweet: we ate it all family style and loved every plate. In and out quickly. Enjoyed our Sunday brunch

I struggle a bit to write about this establishment. Greenport is a very busy place during the summer season. I went here in March which is the off season. The place was empty. The booth was very small. The booth was not a standard size. In general everything we ordered was just ok. The staff was attentive.
Tina H — Google review
Our bacon was undercooked, when we asked for it to be cooked more it was clearly dumped in fryer and turned into pork grinds. The overall vibe is that they don’t seem to care. I got American cheese on my eggs and the color of this cheese was the same yellow as my scrambled eggs, which is a food mystery even for American cheese. My husband got french toast and he said it was mediocre at best. My coffer was disappointing, and as I sat in the tiny booth observing locals, everyone had 711 coffee in hand, so I am thinking they must have the best coffee in town, which tells you all you need to know about coffee game in town.
Rebecca L — Google review
Stopped in for a classic BLT (Turkey ) with fries with a cup of coffee — everything hit the spot. The food came out hot, bacon was nice and crispy, and the coffee was fresh and strong. The place has a fun, upbeat vibe with really friendly staff. It gets a little lively when it’s busy, but that’s part of the charm. Great spot to start the morning!

A good place to get a reasonably priced meal that gives you a lot for your money. The food is excellent, but the service is not the best. The wait staff is slow to take your order, and I didn’t get my drink until after my food had arrived. Same with utensils - had to ask for them when the food came out. Not sure if this was just a one off or if this is just who works there. But the food was delicious with generous portions, so that made up for some service issues. Another thing to watch out for is that while they accept credit card payments, gratuities can only be made in cash - a fact they do not advertise on the door, only at the register, so you’re not likely to learn this until it’s too late. And they charge you a service fee if you pay with a credit card - all things that negatively affected my server’s tip. The food is worth the visit, but they should improve their service.

The Frisky Oyster is a trendy American bistro with a modern ambiance and a focus on using local ingredients. It's one of the top romantic restaurants in North Fork, offering farm-to-fork fare sourced from local farmers and fishermen. The menu features seasonal and regional dishes, including options like duck hash, shrimp and grits, and vanilla bean French toast for brunch.
Five-Star Review for The Frisky Oyster A true culinary gem! The creative American dishes with a kick of spicy flavor are absolutely incredible, and you can truly taste the fresh, local ingredients. The atmosphere is lively and chic, and the service is always top-notch. A definite must-visit in Greenport!

This place was recommended by friends who go to greenport often. We had to push our reservation from 8:00 till 9:00 unfortunately because of traffic from the city. We arrived on time. The service on the floor staff was very gracious and pleasant. The bartender yelling across the room to the hostess at about 9:25 asking if the 9:00 reservation had arrived was unnecessary. These are conversations that you have quietly when you're in the hospitality business. We enjoyed the oysters Friskafella and the truffle fries Rest of the food was okay. It was hard to find the lobster in the lobster quesadilla and the salsa had browned out avocado in it. The chicken Milanese was overly browned in an unsightly manner but the meat was not dry. It did have a nice watermelon feta salad underneath it. The tomato gratin was moltenly hot and mostly bread crumbs. The frisee salad was very unpleasant looking. It was overdressed with a brownish dressing that made it look very unappetizing. Plus, the pancetta chunks were like pork rocks. They were hard from being overcooked.

This has been on our list to try! We happened to be in Greenport and were looking for a place for dinner! The online reservations said they were booked with only later availability! I decided to call directly and they had openings! Plus when we got there at 6 there was plenty of open tables so don’t rely on the online reservations as they may say booked and they aren’t. This place is super pretty and has a cool bar vibe plus front seating which opens to the outdoors. We sat towards the back and although the tables for 2 were somewhat close I APPRECIATED that because it wasn’t packed they spaced out the parties of 2. I never understand why they seat parties of 2 right next to each other when there are plenty of other party of 2 tables available. I sometimes will not frequent a restaurant with tight quarters because it’s like you are dining with strangers where they hear everything you say and vice versa, which is so not ideal 😝. But anyway, this place was great and did not disappoint!!! It is on the dark side inside so you may have to use your iPhone flashlight like we did! Our server was super great, knowledgeable and offered recommendations when we asked! We ended up going with the salad (I forget the name but it had bacon), def the Oysters topped with some goodness, the pork chop and the scallops!! And of course a kettle one martini! Overall EVERYTHING was DELISH!!! So happpppy we came here! We skipped on dessert as the hubs wanted to get ice cream in town. When we left about 7:15 ish the place was starting to get busy but still a nice cool chill vibe that definitely wasn’t overwhelming! If you are in the area I definitely recommend you check it out!! I rate this a legit 5 star restaurant in Greenport on the North Fork!! 💖💪🏻💖💪🏻

My husband and I went to dinner for our anniversary and had a lovely time. The food was amazing and our server, Cara, was so attentive and sweet. Our cocktails were well made. I had the chopped vegetable salad and it might be the best salad I’ve ever had! We just wanted to say thank you to the gracious staff and for providing such a wonderful experience.

It is essential to make a reservation! It is a good idea to get there a bit early and grab a drink at the bar. Drinks are great and be prepared to pay $24 for a cocktail 🍹 but you won't be disappointed. Chit chat with bar buddies. Great environment. Bartenders and waitresses are all very accommodating. As so many restaurants are no longer bringing bread to the table, this establishment brings warm bread with salted butter. Delicious 😋. It was tough to make a choice for my entree as everything sounded delicious! I chose the shrimp with ramen 🍜. I was really satisfied with my choice. The shrimp were cooked perfectly. The broth and veggies complimented the entire dish. We also ordered the sea scallops. Done perfectly! We ended with two desserts. A pecan pie which was absolutely amazing and a chocolate hazelnut cake. All the desserts are made on premises. They have a pastry chef. We were not rushed. They are one of the restaurants in Greenport that are open late. I am looking forward to going here again !

I’m giving the restaurant a 2-star rating because although the food was good, the server disappeared and never came back - ruining the experience. We’d give it one star, but because the food was delicious, I had to bump it up a star. After getting our drinks, the server never came back to our table and we never saw her in the dining room again. After getting our entrees and finishing eating, the man bussing our table asked if we wanted to see a dessert menu. Once we got that, we sat for 30 minutes without anybody coming to check if we wanted anything. Another server saw us looking around and she brought our check. After waiting another 10 minutes & visibly looking around, that other server finally came back to close out our bill. Horrible experience. For the price we paid, that is not the service we expected. As for the food & drinks… we recommend the Shineapple Express & Pink Panther if you like sweeter drinks. The grilled Caesar salad was OK, but not our favorite. The Lobster Gigli pasta was delicious and so was the Pomegranate BBQ Short Ribs (sweet/fruity BBQ flavor).

I'm not sure why there have been so many recent negative results for The Frisky Oyster. I actually think that Frisky was better than another more highly rated restaurant in town. The atmosphere is moody and not sterile. The service is attentive and also friendly. Our food was very delicious and inventive. Clearly a nice restaurant and definitely recommend this for a special occasion or just a great dinner.

Fine dining restaurant
Bar
Porto Bello is a waterfront restaurant and cocktail lounge located near the historic village of Greenport in Safe Harbors Greenport Marina. The spacious restaurant and bar offer breathtaking views of the marina, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy traditional Italian cuisine with a seasonal twist. The nautical decor adds to the ambiance as diners watch boats dock while enjoying dishes like stuffed avocado with lobster salad, grilled steakhouse burger, clams casino, or grilled Portobello mushroom sandwich.
This is a regular spot for our family. Went there last night with 10 people and had an awesome time. We went by boat in the evening and there was plenty of dock space available. Sandra and Michael were our servers and they did a great job. Drinks were awesome (we had the rum punch, old fashioned, margaritas etc) We sat outside on a beautiful night and it was such a great atmosphere with live background music. Food was phenomenal. We had the seafood oasis as an appetizer and some really great meals. Many thanks also to Elise. She is awesome

Even with a reservation we waited over 90 minutes to be seated... outside. We had a table overlooking the marina, it was a beautiful view. The ambiance was quaint and nautical so we were content. The server was friendly but we waited a very long time in-between courses. He kept apologizing to us, saying they were understaffed. We didn't mind, we sipped our cocktails, chatted and enjoyed the view. Until 2 hours had gone by, the sun was no longer out and we were extremely cold, sitting on the water after dark, still waiting on our food. The restaurant does not have heaters on its patio. That would have been helpful and cozy. The food finally came but most of it was barely warm. We didn't say anything because at that point we were beyond hungry. Plus, we just wanted to eat and get out of there to a warmer place. Food: The meatball appetizer and wedge salad were both delish! The filet mignon with chimichurri was amazing too. Top quality aged beef. The mashed potatoes that all dinners automatically come with were so-so, pretty bland. Salt and pepper fixed that. The onions on the side should have been sauteed or crispy, not soggy like they were. The giant pork chop was very good all around. (you have to like rosemary and other strong herbs seasoning to agree though) The asparagus was boring and plain. They made my son chicken tenders and french fries, both were yummy! Pros: The place is in a beautiful location, has live music, the outdoor patio seating is spacious, the staff is genuinely friendly, and most of the food tastes very good. 🍴 Cons: Long wait times for seating and service from beginning to end. We were there for over 3 1/2 hours. It's quite expensive. The food presentation is underwhelming and needs some wow factor added to them for what the prices are. $$$ Overall, we do like this place. We were there on Mother's Day so it was quite busy. We will go back there and give it another try... when the weather is much warmer. 🌞 😎

We hosted our Dancing on the Dock event at Porto Bello and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The waterfront setting was absolutely beautiful and created the perfect atmosphere for an unforgettable evening. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, from the delicious buffet dinner to the exceptional service throughout the night. Our guests raved about the venue, and the sunset views over the marina added a magical touch. Thank you to the entire Porto Bello team for helping us host such a memorable and seamless event. We’re already looking forward to next year!

We had a 6 PM reservation at Porto Bello for Mother’s Day, excited to celebrate with a nice family dinner on the patio with waterfront views. Unfortunately, the experience was a complete letdown from start to finish. Despite arriving early, we weren’t seated until 6:15 — and were placed indoors, even though our reservation specifically requested the patio. Once seated, service was practically non-existent. No one greeted us or took our order for over 40 minutes. We received only a single bottle of water for our party of seven, and repeated requests for a server were ignored. It was clear the restaurant was severely understaffed, and the few employees present showed little urgency or care. Frustrated and disappointed, we left without ever being served. As we walked out, the hostess/manager offered a dismissive “sorry,” with no genuine concern for how poorly we had been treated. What was supposed to be a special evening for the moms in our family turned into a scramble to find last-minute dinner plans elsewhere. We will not be returning and do not recommend this restaurant unless changes are made or you have an appreciation for awful hospitality. Can’t speak to the food because we didn’t eat and only giving an extra star on atmosphere because the waterfront was stunning even though they didn’t honor the reservation we had for out there.

Overall a great place Food was okay. Service was average. Nothing over the edge about the food but the view is amazing. There is also a bar (I didn’t get any drinks) We had the fried burrata, oysters (which were large), filet mignon with all sides substituted for plain pasta and cheese, and the penne ala vodka.

For an incredible experience come to Porto Bello. I was visiting the North Fork and my friends brought me to this seasonal local favorite. The first notable feature of this experience you're going have is the service; Michael was our server and he knew the menu perfectly, he could describe everything in the food and could recommend substitutes if needed.Second, while eating you have an amazing view of dock with various size boats. I don't live in an area with views like this so I was blown away. Next was the food itself. Everything thing we ordered off the menu was made fresh. You can see for yourself how amazing the food is with my pictures, and it tasted better than it looks.I was also happy that they had local beer available. You will enjoy this Porto Bello.

I went with my family for our anniversary. Really disappointed, the host wasn't friendly, it took about 45 min to come to take the order. The food didn't take that long but terrible. Meatballs were reheated and not all the way. The linguini with clams, flavorless, pasta overcook. The penne a la vodka cold and overcooked. The waiter was nice but inexperienced. We don't go out for fancy dinners often and did this for an special occasion but what a disappointment. So overpriced for simple food but was worst was that the food was not good. I am a good cook myself and food lover and I think whoever owns a restaurant must love food, but not the case there. I don't usually give reviews but I think I had to this time.

Wölffer Estate Vineyard is a long-standing winery estate that offers a stylish and airy tasting room, available by reservation only. Founded in 1988, this Sagaponack staple exudes an air of relaxed grandeur with its rustic-modern tasting room overlooking lush rows of glistening grapes. Visitors can savor a charcuterie board and a glass of the vineyard's signature Summer in a Bottle rosé while taking in the picturesque surroundings.
Absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere is incredibly cozy — the perfect mix of nature, vineyards, and great taste. The live music was amazing and set the mood for the whole evening. The wine was excellent — you can tell it’s made with care and passion. We’ll definitely be coming back!

It was okay! The Vineyard is gorgeous. Grounds beautiful! The food menu could use a bit more variety. Our server seemed rushed & a bit overwhelmed. We made reservations so sat immediately. The venue is extremely clean, even the restroom. For 4 of us our bill was $164, not bad all. Well one person was 9, so they had no alcoholic beverages lol just the entrees. There is plenty of parking. Once seated, we were served. The grounds were lovely. Not one of my favorites. Probably will not return again. But, I do recommend if you’ve never been. Good for groups, couples or even solo.

It was my first time visiting a winery, and it turned out to be a really great choice. The tasting selection was excellent, and the cheese plate was delicious, but most of all, the friendly staff and clean facilities made the experience perfect. On our way out, we bought several bottles of wine, and since there was a sale, we got them at a great price. I was surprised at how many people there were for a weekday, so I can only imagine how busy it must get on weekends. I’d definitely love to come back again!

We had an amazing day at Wölffer Estate today. Our tour guide Fairley was entertaining and knowledgeable, she kept us laughing all day 😊 From our private tasting table and snacks under the vines, learning about the different types of trellising, how the grapes are processed, and more tastings in the barrel room, we had an amazing and memorable day. We are looking forward to our future visits. We loved the wine and atmosphere so much, we signed up for the wine club and took a few bottles home.

Vince was a great tour guide, knowledgable about everything from the agriculture, history, and wine making process. He handled all our questions with a friendly and passionate attitude and showed us all the parts of the vineyard. The property is quite beautiful. The tasting started with snacks in the dining room and progressed to the wine cellar.

An absolute gem of a winery in the Hamptons—this place is a must-visit. From the moment we arrived, the vibe was relaxed yet upscale, with beautiful views and plenty of space to kick back with a glass of wine. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, making the entire tasting experience feel effortless. Their Riesling was crisp, refreshing, and perfectly balanced—one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The rosé was also a standout: dry, vibrant, and ideal for sipping under the sun. Whether you’re a wine lover or just looking for a great place to hang out with friends, this spot checks all the boxes. We ended up staying for hours and brought home a few bottles to keep the good vibes going. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m out east. This winery truly captures the spirit of the Hamptons.

Larger boutique vineyard with a large selection, some were great! But you have to know what you're looking for. Will be back for their harvest event, I hear it's fun. Ask for Catherine..

We love Wolffer year round for a glass of wine and its beautiful setting. The cheese options are good and since going vegan I've found the Middle Eastern dips a pleasant option.

Lenz Winery, established in 1977, is one of the oldest wineries in North Fork. The estate spans nearly 70 acres and has been producing its own Chardonnay, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon since the early 1980s. The rustic tasting room inside an old barn offers a traditional wine-tasting experience.
Great stay. The wives went in and had a glass and plicked up a nice bottle of cabernet for dinner while we parked and set up the 2016 Airstream Interstate and the 2013 Pleasure Way for the night. We found them on harvest hosts. Beautiful sun set.

Great little winery on the east end, not too far out. Clean and spacious. The staff is super friendly and the wine was real good. A great outdoor space and nicely landscaped. A very chill vibe. Tell em Barsnobs sent ya.

The property at Lenz Winery is beautiful and particularly beautiful if you make an appointment for opening. We had the winery to ourselves for the first 30-40 minutes before a bus dropped off a large party on a wine tour. The waitstaff were friendly and helpful although busy setting up the main outdoor tasting area so were not totally available. Wines were good but not knock your socks off. Rosé was particularly good. Enjoyed the wine nonetheless and would go again although at risk of wine tours...

My friends and I took our moms yesterday. It was a Tuesday at 11 so we were the only ones there. We sat outside and had the charcuterie platter and hummus. We also each did a tasting. There were 5 of us. We couldn’t have been happier. It was a relaxing afternoon together and we enjoyed the food, wine, and service. Thanks so much.

Visited Lenz right after our wedding during our mini-honeymoon in 2012 and bought a bottle of the 2002 Old Vines Merlot. We opened it up tonight to celebrate our 12 year anniversary. Fantastic bottle! It brought us back to the experience we had at the winery over a decade ago.

We had a 5 wine tasting and they were pretty good. Place is very pretty. We had a reservation and were able to sit any place by ourselves and the waitress was super busy because there was a private event. They served the glasses in the bar instead of at the table. Asked for water and she brought more water bottles than we needed and the place closes at 5 and at 4:30 they were already in a hurry cleaning and removing everything. Honestly not the best experience and it is a shame for a nice place. Small variety of snacks and there is no combo, you can ask for them individually.

We had a great experience with Lenz this weekend. We have been here many times and each time the staff is super friendly and personable, and they always go above and beyond to make the tasting experience memorable and enjoyable. They always put together the best tastings, and their wines are all delicious (try the firefly rosé). I also love the ambiance at this vineyard. To me it’s one of the most perfect stop on your north fork wine tour! Thank you guys for a great experience!!!

Croteaux Vineyards is a unique destination as it's the only vineyard in the US solely dedicated to producing Rose wine. The relaxed ambiance of its tasting barn offers a break from the trendy scene, allowing visitors to savor their selection of Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, and Cabernet Franc Roses. The fairytale garden and 200-year-old barn provide an idyllic setting for enjoying an all-rose menu.
What an amazingly unique and greatly different winery experience! My wife and I visited over 17 vineyards in the North Fork of LI over our April break, and this is one of our only 3 five star spots to visit in the area. This is the go-to outdoor wine experience on a great weather day. The arrangement of the outdoor seating is like nothing I’ve seen at a winery previously, in the best way. There are great covered/indoor options too that make give a elegant bohemian living room vibe. As a primarily red wine consumer, I thoroughly enjoyed the rosé only focus as a refreshing and highly relaxing alternative to the other options in the area. The food options were great, and the warm baguette with herb cheese spread was the perfect mid-afternoon wine pairing for our day. This was one of 2 vineyard we earmarked for a second visit on our stay, and both stops did not disappoint. We are so looking forward to our next visit!

Wow this place has officially became my favorite vineyard to visit in Long Island. It has cute decorations and as a Rose wine lover, I enjoyed the wine tasting. I also loved their lobster rolls on their menu. I highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our wedding anniversary at Croteaux Vineyards! The setting is beautiful and serene, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine. We enjoyed the Sparkling Tasting and Still Tasting, and our selections of Merlot 181 and Jolie were exceptional. The food was fantastic—Provençal Basket and Lobster Roll Sliders were delicious and paired perfectly with the wines. Sitting outside with vineyard views made the experience even more special. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, making the visit truly memorable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a charming and high-quality vineyard experience!

This vineyard has a very relaxing, family-oriented atmosphere. The service was excellent, and the overall vibe was calm and rejuvenating you truly feel refreshed after visiting. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t the best; it was a bit overcooked, though it might have just been the timing. Regardless, I would definitely recommend this place for the ambiance and experience.

This restaurant, Country Corner Cafe, received high praise for its overall experience. Customers were delighted with the ambiance, quality of food, and attentive service provided. Diners expressed satisfaction with their meals as they were cooked precisely to their liking, served hot, fresh and delicious. The prices offered by this establishment were also considered very reasonable. Additionally, one customer mentioned that their child enjoyed a tasty dessert of ice cream.
Excellent local cafe for brunch & a bite 🥇🥇. A non assuming venue that only cares about serving good quality food. Service is mediocre but we didn’t choose it for the service. 😊 Comfortable booth seating with a homey cabin outdoor vibe. The burger was BIG, really BIG BIG 💪💪. Enjoyed my corn beef hash with eggs sunny side up 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Despite the unassuming appearance of the Rueben, it was probably one of the better ones I’ve had in recent years. It did not come with thousand island, so I requested extra on the side. It was flavorful, and the corn beef was tender. Even without the thousand island, it wasn’t a dry sandwich to begin with. I was pleasantly surprised. We also ordered the Southold Burger which was insane. It was massive and messy, but it was a very good burger. A side of fries will run you up $5, but they’re solid. They needed extra salt but were hot and fresh. Everything on the menu sounded fantastic, and I don’t think you can go wrong here. Definitely would stop by again.

This is a charming place in Southold with a varied menu with some great breakfast & luncheon choices. Their ice creams are good too and their vanilla milkshake was outstanding.

Been here many times this summer and was always super satisfied! Came here today again for lunch and I felt very uncomfortable. I was being watched the whole time while I was eating alone. I got asked 4 times if I wanna order more within like 20 min while I was still eating and the waitress at the register was rude. Makes me sad because it’s all in all a really nice place but I am insecure to come back :/

Ambiance (4/5): The restaurant is located *behind* North Fork Roasting Co. which had live music performing on a Saturday. Due to our party size and our dog, we sat outside near the back parking, which had abandoned-looking seating (broken, dirty, etc.). However, it was shaded and you could hear the music next door. There's also 3 two-person tables near the entrance outside around the corner. The inside is retro and feels like you're dining inside a cozy house and an ice cream bar (Hershey's brand). It felt bustling as a standard diner on a weekend. Service (5/5): When we were walking toward the exterior back, the people outside near side entrance, had warned us that the service was abysmal. We loitered near the corner to let the waitress know we were wanting to get seated in the back (basically away from sight). Once seated, she came back and wiped down the dirty tables (which I'm sure no one usually opts to sit at due to their state). We immediately placed our orders before she went away. I think by doing so, our food came out lightning fast. She also came to check in on us twice throughout our dining. Sausage & Cheddar Flatbread Scramble (3/5): Expect an omelet on a piece of flatbread. The bread did not taste very good (perhaps store bought?) The home fries were deliciously crunchy. Breakfast Burrito (3/5): Nothing really stood out about the burrito. Croissant French toast (3/5): I liked how it wasn't too sweet with the filled cream but it felt like it was missing something. The addition of the table maple syrup definitely helped. I think next time, I would opt for the regular French toast.

The Country Corner Cafe was absolutely amazing! The service was fantastic and the staff were extremely sweet. My friend got a burger and I had one of their grain bowls. Our meals were delicious! I can’t wait to go back and would definitely recommend them if you haven’t been there before.

This is a great breakfast spot in an area that I feel is missing it. They’re very diverse in breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, and also have a dairy dip for dessert. The corn beef hash is their highly touted dish, and while it was good, I don’t think it was spectacular. The pancakes were actually surprisingly great with low expectations. Coffee is typical diner coffee, but next door is a great coffee shop to visit if you’d like. Would come again, worth the visit.

Town Beach, located in the Southold area, offers a serene and secluded escape from crowded beaches. The drive to this beach is scenic, passing by vineyards and fruit picking locations. Visitors can explore the Main Road Historic District and the Southold Indian Museum for a glimpse into local history and culture. The beach itself features soft pebbles rather than sand, making water shoes advisable for wading in the water.

One of the very best beaches on Long Island. Even if you're just passing through, be good to yourself and stop for a little while. It's great any time of the day, but summer sunsets here are unbeatable.

Nice beach quiet, small, and a bit of parking spots. Very relaxing.
Maximus M — Google review
If you're looking for a secluded beach or trying to escape the crowd in other beaches, give this area a look. The drive is a few hours from the city but there are a lot of vineyards and fruit picking locations along the ride, so that can be a fun activity before catching the sunset here. The only thing that may be a problem is the rocks. I'd recommend wearing water shoes in the water because it'll definitely hurt standing barefoot. Otherwise, it's a great place to skip rocks when the waves aren't too strong.

Beautiful little beach right off the road. Great for a short stop to enjoy the view. The beach is mostly small rocks and pebbles so don't come expecting sand.

Easy parking with a nice wide lot overlooking Long Island Sound. Known for the sunsets over the water, this beach is easy walking along the shoreline and has been known for a few nice pieces of sea glass if your luck is in order. Lifeguards during the summer season and a covered pavilion for a waterside lunch. This is definitely one of the beaches to explore while you are on The North Fork.

If you're on the hunt for a cozy, local spot to grab breakfast or lunch, look no further than Grateful Lee Deli in Southold, NY. This charming deli has become a beloved favorite among locals and visitors alike. With its welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff, you’ll feel right at home from the moment you step inside. The generous portions and reasonable prices make it an excellent choice for everything from hearty breakfast sandwiches to picnic-ready meals.
Our favorite deli in town. And not just because it’s down the street. There are a few others nearby but this deli has it all and the owners go above and beyond to welcome you. They truly appreciate our business and let you know every time. We’ve been coming here for years for everything from breakfast sandwiches to picnic lunches to grab n go snacks for the boat. They never disappoint and are always smiling. Love this place!

This might be the worst deli sandwich I’ve ever gotten. It was supposed to be one of their specials on their menu with roast beef. They have boars head signs everywhere. The meat that was on the sandwich definitely wasn’t boars head. I’m not sure if it was even roast beef. Also, there was one small slice of meat definitely the smallest sandwich I’ve ever gotten from a deli.

I think this place would rock if it played up the Grateful Dead theme. The inside is rather plain. Outside of the name and that they sell Long Island themed Dead shirts, there isn't anything else playing up the Dead angle, which I think is a mistake.

This place SUCKS!! This place only gets 2 stars because the food tasted quite nice, but it's a mess in there. I walked in at around 1pm and there were so many people crammed in that small building, and there was no exact spot for where the line was. Another day when I walked in during the morning on my way back home to the Southampton it was one of the only places opened so I stopped there for a quick breakfast sandwich a young young looking girl was working there and she seemed very tired, but after all it was 7am (CRAZY) she took my order after she asked me to repeat it a few times but it's okay because she was very nice about it and was obviously tired she made sure she got my order 100% correct which I appreciated. When I sat down to wait for my meal I couldn't help but notice the trail of ants all over the table and about a minute later the owner of the deli pulled that young girl to the back by her arm and as I was looking for a drink I couldn't help but overhear the woman yelling at the poor girl saying she did something wrong with an order, and not only did this happen once, it happened 3 TIMES in the short time I was in there. Each time after the talking to I noticed that young girl who couldn't be over the age of 13-14 looked noticeably upset and stressed after each of those times she got literally PULLED to the back. Not to mention these prices were CRAZY not that I mind paying a little extra to smaller businesses, but I will say there is a problem when you charge customers well over double the price that is on their website and menu inside. PLEASE save your time and go somewhere else, I'm sure you can find better quality food for cheaper somewhere else. P.S. I hope that poor young girl is okay and got out of that TOXIC environment and can get a better job.

Seafood restaurant
Bar
Nestled in Southold, NY, Sophie's is a charming dog-friendly eatery that welcomes leashed pups at its outdoor tables. This converted house-turned-restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring everything from juicy burgers and pizzas to succulent steak and fresh seafood. The ambiance can get lively as conversations echo around the enclosed dining area, but it adds to the vibrant atmosphere. Just off the Orient Point Ferry, it's an ideal stop for lunch or dinner—easy to miss if you're not paying attention!
Came to this house-converted-into-restaurant on Bayview Road for an early dinner on a Sunday as a party of three. We were seated right away in the formerly-patio, now-enclosed section of the restaurant. Two-sided menu with a lot of finger foods, some entrees, meat and seafood dishes, and a full service bar make for good meal. It can get a bit noisy during your meal because sound bounce off everything and everyone's conversation can be heard - whether you like it or not. Prices are a bit on the steep side of menu prices, but pretty standard for this part of Long Island. Plenty of tables and seating, with a large, free parking lot adjacent to the restaurant.

Ms. Monica was exceptional! The food, drinks and atmosphere were outstanding. We met new people that were so friendly. I highly recommend visiting for the specials. I had the fresh sea bass and my sister had the shrimp on special. All top tier and we can’t wait to revisit

Sophies is quite a unique place. The food was the saving grace, and if the chef ever left I’d probably never go back. Various issues like waiting 15min sitting at our table to get drinks ordered, water sitting empty for half the meal, and general disinterest in providing good service from our waitress, all lead to a mediocre experience. The burger and Lobster Bisque however, were top tier compared to others I’ve had, and are the only reason this is 3 star instead of 2 star. I’d say definitely try this place, but get it to go if you want a better experience.

This is a great spot! Great daily specials to choose from. Weekly Prime Rib might! Great local wines! Make a reservation! I am now a regular!

When you get off the Orient Point Ferry, Sophie's Restaurant is the ideal spot for lunch or dinner. It's an old converted house with a dining room and a nice bar. It is worth stopping, go slow because you might just drive by it without realizing it. The food is excellent. We had the chicken sandwich and the clam strips. The staff is sweet and nice. Parking not an issue.

I had the flounder sandwich and it was so good!! 😋. Fish was light and flaky and breading was perfect. Waffle fries were very crispy and well seasoned. Reasonably priced, great service, I left full and happy. 😊.

Ms. Monica truly made the experience feel special, along with the bartender, Michelle. The food was incredible. I had the cajun shrimp special and it was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We met some cool people while we were there, which made it even better. Great drinks, good energy, and I’ll definitely be back!

Chef Jeff out done himself with his creations. Food was great! Service was awesome. Everyone is super friendly. Great view of the water. A place to stop by if you're in the area!

I enjoyed my meal here! I had the baked clams and tuna nachos. The baked clams were delicious and flavorful(6 pieces). Delicious to dip the rosemary bread in! The tuna nachos were not over the top but good! It could have used another texture, maybe some avocado or edamame. The staff were kind and the outdoor view is a 10/10 on a warm day. I would recommend this place!

My first time here with my families Food was ok but not flavorful most of them just plain don’t get me wrong i been many places try different foods i do expect the seafood here but came out a little disappointed, lobster rolls was plain no flavor, and the pasta seafood a lot of different clams still plain flavor and I found a little sand in side the clams most of them , and one more thing the steak sandwich the bread was a little brunt, but one thing here was great it’s a server was very nice and the place was very beautiful .

Finally! A place that brings you a burger medium rare when you order a medium rare burger! And a burger was out of this world! The clam chowder, I could eat all day. Could use a few more clams, but the flavor is really on point! Waiters are friendly, fast and eager to please. I would definitely recommend this place.

A Lure never disappoints. The view is amazing. The rear outdoor patio is very scenic and beautifully done. I had made 8pm reservations for a Friday for my husband and myself. I had a perfectly made spicy margarita and then we ordered a Cesar salad and sautéed calamari to start with. Both delish. The calamari was so tender and the salsa was fantastic. Nice, healthy app! I ordered the grilled swordfish with “forbidden rice” and mango salsa. It came with some very fresh green beans. The fish was cooked perfectly. I had never seen black rice before but the flavors were outstanding with the coconut and mango combo. I would eat this every night if i could. My husband ordered the macadamia-coconut crusted flounder. The fish was fried and had a delicious crust. Very large portions. It also came with green beans but the sweet potato purée was so good that I wanted it to be the last thing I tasted! The service was excellent and the restaurant is decorated perfectly with elegant nautical vibes….and you cannot beat that view! They have curtains to separate the dining room for private parties and the bar was packed last night. Big parking lot and very easy to get to. Highly recommended!

Chef Noah Schwartz, an esteemed graduate of the New England Culinary Institute and Long Island native, leads the kitchen in creating innovative interpretations of classic dishes using locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant has received numerous accolades, including being recognized as one of the top 20 seafood restaurants on Long Island and being deemed 'Fit for Foodies.'
This is a must! I absolutely loved my waitress! Great personality! Very attentive! The food is just absolutely perfect! This restaurant has figured out how to keep the noise level low. I looked up to see and there are these wavy white devices installed. I'm sure these devices are to keep noise level low even when the restaurant is at capacity. Great everything here!

Wow—what an incredible dining experience! The food at Noah’s was sooooo delightful from start to finish. The raw bar was absolutely fresh and flavorful—each bite felt like the ocean itself. And don’t even get me started on the fries and ribs… they were out of this planet! Perfectly seasoned, fall-off-the-bone tender, and downright addictive. The atmosphere was cozy, the service warm, and everything about our meal hit the mark. We will absolutely be returning again!!

The venue is spacious. It would be a great place to watch people on the street. I ordered the shrimp and grit, it was so salty. I asked for some hot water to water down the dish. They brought me hot water but I was surprised they did not even offer me to replace the dish.

A lovely spot in Greenport in the North Fork. Right across the street from the water on the main street. Warming, delicious seafood forward. Though my favorite bite of the meal was the filet mignon slider so don't miss out on those! Check them out :)

We rented out Noah's restaurant and hosted our son's rehearsal dinner and welcome party on Friday evening (09/26) and everything couldn't have been more perfect! Lauren and Chef Noah helped us plan the menu and flow for the evening, and they were so accommodating in making it so very special, memorable, and workable. Jen and her service team took great care of our 100+ guests and gave them all an excellent experience end to end, and we're so grateful. Many of their exceptional and very friendly staff have been with Chef Noah for a decade or more, and it's clear how much they love working with him. We would highly recommend Noah's for any special occasion and we look forward to visiting again soon! Warmly, Dave & Rebecca Swanson

Noah’s is a large, modern space with an upscale vibe. This night service started off a bit slow (I think it’s because we changed tables, we were initially seated next to a couple with a toddler and this is not a place for toddlers). We ordered local oysters, which are delightful in these parts. Skip the cocktail sauces and stick with lemon and their nice mignonette. Also had the rosemary fries, which were quite good and the “grilled” octopus. The octopus was tender and well seasoned, but certainly not grilled. As per my experience, appetizers are almost always better than entrees and Noah’s is no exception. We had a seared tuna special, which was a winner. Fresh tuna with a spicy crust, served perfectly black and blue. Unfortunately, the rib eye I ordered brought everything crashing down. A terrible piece of meat, and cut way too thin to cook properly. The first steak (yup) was quite rare, not an issue for good meat, but this wasn’t and it was inedible. I had to send it back. The second steak was even thinner (more like a cutlet) and fully well done. I blamed myself for ordering a steak in a place like this, but if you’re going to have steak on the menu, cut it and cook it correctly or don’t do it at all. The server and manager handled it extremely well, but there is no coming back from that for the kitchen. Too uneven to fully recommend.

The space is nice and the location is great. We had a great seat outside. Those are the highlights. We started with 3 small plates - 2 of which were so over salted they were barely edible. The crab cake was over cooked, dry and bland overall. Of our 3 entrees, the seafood stew was incredibly spicy (and we love spice), and the clam pasta was swimming in a pool of oil and grease. Major disappointment overall.
