Where to eat: the 40 best restaurants in Southold

If you're looking for a place where your wallet loses weight faster than you do, this is it! The ambiance is swanky, the service was great, and the food tasted good—but the menu? Peak pretension. Cocktails are $25, and yet my Old Fashioned was made with Maker’s Mark—bold choice for top-shelf prices. The lamb belly came with a “hen” egg (what other kind of egg would it be—rooster? Just call it an egg), and the $18 apple tart? Two bites. Blink and you’ll miss it. Speaking of unforgettable experiences, you’re greeted by a mysterious sulfuric fart cloud at the entrance. Welcome to fine dining, I guess? On the bright side, the butternut squash side dish was the star of the show (and ironically the most reasonably priced item). But $22 for mac and cheese? I didn’t realize I needed to take out a loan for comfort food. All in all, it’s a nice spot if you want to feel fancy—but be prepared to pay a premium for tiny portions and menu descriptions that require a thesaurus.

I stopped by to pick up my traditional lobster roll at their food truck. Lovely location with a grass area, umbrellas and outdoor games like corn hole. There were 2 people working the food truck but I question their efficiency. 1 lobster roll shouldn’t have taken 25 minutes. Albeit, there were 3 orders in front of me, all cooked foods but when you see 1 cold roll, you’d think they would pop that out quickly. I’ve owned a restaurant before - it’s just smart service. Then I was eager to enjoy the roll only to experience a very soggy roll with a very bland taste. I expect more from The North Fork Table

My boyfriend and I sat in the bar room for burger night last night . It was fantastic ! Service, vibe , and food! Home run ! He ordered beef tartar and seafood platter and I ordered the burger and squash appetizer. We loved everything. He said at one point this is the best bread I’ve ever had in my life ! We loved the bottle of macari wine we split at our meal. Excellent experience highly recommend it for couples or solo dining experience at the bar. High end top notch cozy and chic decor

My husband and I come here frequently, driving from 40+ minutes away because we love the food and the ambience any time of year (though I have to say the hydrangeas lining the walkway are particularly beautiful right now!) We’ve always had wonderful experiences, but tonight the service was above and beyond. My mother-in-law has a dairy allergy that most restaurants fail to understand, but Alicia went out of her way to bring an additional starter (off menu) that she could enjoy while the rest of us had something with dairy in it. Her care & initiative really left an impression and exemplifies why North Fork Table & Inn is such a special spot. Also, the new sommelier in residence for the summer is terrific - very informative and approachable. All around, another great experience!

I needed to book a room for an overnight stay (last minute) and I found the Inn and that they had a room available for the Saturday night I needed. The room is on the 2nd floor of the Inn above the restaurant. we unfortunately did not get to enjoy the restaurant, plan on returning to do so. We had a queen size bed, very comfortable, great pillows too. TV, night stands, real plants too. the bathroom was so clean and the towels were so soft. They had complimentary coffee/tea, water, soda available for the guests. Great room, location of the Inn for traveling in Greenport/Southold area.

This restaurant is not what it used to be. Culinary standards seem to have dropped while prices have risen and portion size has diminished. How do you justify charging $44 for 5oz of swordfish with a dollop of mashed potatoes and then charging an additional $12 for the bordelaise sauce that the waiter recommended but failed to point out was an extra cost. Totally excessive. Also, $96 for a young Paumanok Chenin Blanc vs $76 for a great French white burgundy just shows the awful price/value/quality proposition of North Fork wines. The food truck remains a great resource, though. Great option for lunch.

This restaurant deserves a Micheline star, by far the best meal I’ve ever had no exaggeration. Everything was perfect top to bottom. 20/10

Wednesday’s Table has, hands down, some of the best tasting food in the North Fork. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. It’s all incredibly delicious.

Their burger isn’t the best. I mean, after what paid for those burgers I expect to eat the best burger on planet. They charge you $2 extra for a small slice of cheese. What kind of place does that? Won’t go there anymore. The only reason for why I gave 2 star to this place is that staff is very nice.

Nice little sandwich shop. Their Bahn Mi hero was pretty good. Supposedly their largest seller. Roasted pork with Daikon radish and a siracha sauce was quite spicy. Their sweet potato fries are amongst the crispiest I've ever had. Nice portion, reasonable price, very low key vibe.

I don't give 5 stars easily. My perfect sandwich has a balance of nutrition ingredients locally sourced, and flavor ingredients on thin, good fresh bread, neatly assembled, not blowing out on your lap. The potion size is just right for diet control but satisfaction. it should also be fast and priced well. They hit all the marks. Pastries stand out as well.

Best sandwiches youve never had! Very creative! Coffee is fantastic! (Try the Peru). Staff is so sweet and helpful. Chef (yes, chef) knows her craft so well, and is so appreciative of the business. I scratch my head in disbelief every time I see someone go into Dunkin with Wednesdays Table right next door!

I love Wednesday’s Table! Excellent quality whether you’re coming for breakfast or lunch, and their coffee is amazing too! Such a welcoming staff and great place to visit all year round. You can’t go wrong with any of the sandwiches, but my personal favorite is the banh mi.

The most delicious food on North Fork. Breakfast and lunch sandwiches are fantastic as are the soups. Super friendly and professional. Highly recommend. Try the Ban MI or the chicken satay. Best coffee too.

Wow—what an incredible dining experience! The food at Noah’s was sooooo delightful from start to finish. The raw bar was absolutely fresh and flavorful—each bite felt like the ocean itself. And don’t even get me started on the fries and ribs… they were out of this planet! Perfectly seasoned, fall-off-the-bone tender, and downright addictive. The atmosphere was cozy, the service warm, and everything about our meal hit the mark. We will absolutely be returning again!!

The venue is spacious. It would be a great place to watch people on the street. I ordered the shrimp and grit, it was so salty. I asked for some hot water to water down the dish. They brought me hot water but I was surprised they did not even offer me to replace the dish.

A lovely spot in Greenport in the North Fork. Right across the street from the water on the main street. Warming, delicious seafood forward. Though my favorite bite of the meal was the filet mignon slider so don't miss out on those! Check them out :)

We rented out Noah's restaurant and hosted our son's rehearsal dinner and welcome party on Friday evening (09/26) and everything couldn't have been more perfect! Lauren and Chef Noah helped us plan the menu and flow for the evening, and they were so accommodating in making it so very special, memorable, and workable. Jen and her service team took great care of our 100+ guests and gave them all an excellent experience end to end, and we're so grateful. Many of their exceptional and very friendly staff have been with Chef Noah for a decade or more, and it's clear how much they love working with him. Noah’s is a large, modern space with an upscale vibe. This night service started off a bit slow (I think it’s because we changed tables, we were initially seated next to a couple with a toddler and this is not a place for toddlers). We ordered local oysters, which are delightful in these parts. Skip the cocktail sauces and stick with lemon and their nice mignonette. Also had the rosemary fries, which were quite good and the “grilled” octopus. The octopus was tender and well seasoned, but certainly not grilled. As per my experience, appetizers are almost always better than entrees and Noah’s is no exception. We had a seared tuna special, which was a winner. Fresh tuna with a spicy crust, served perfectly black and blue. Unfortunately, the rib eye I ordered brought everything crashing down. A terrible piece of meat, and cut way too thin to cook properly. The first steak (yup) was quite rare, not an issue for good meat, but this wasn’t and it was inedible. I had to send it back. The second steak was even thinner (more like a cutlet) and fully well done. I blamed myself for ordering a steak in a place like this, but if you’re going to have steak on the menu, cut it and cook it correctly or don’t do it at all. The server and manager handled it extremely well, but there is no coming back from that for the kitchen. Too uneven to fully recommend.

The space is nice and the location is great. We had a great seat outside. Those are the highlights. We started with 3 small plates - 2 of which were so over salted they were barely edible. The crab cake was over cooked, dry and bland overall. Of our 3 entrees, the seafood stew was incredibly spicy (and we love spice), and the clam pasta was swimming in a pool of oil and grease. Major disappointment overall.

I went here with my mom for an early dinner—-the food came out very quickly and all the ingredients tasted fresh! However some of the flavors didn’t quite meld for me. I got the Halibut oreganata with gnocchi. The sauce base was delicious but the breadcrumbs on the fish didn’t have much flavor. My mom’s scallops were amazing but the sauce had so much garlic it sort of took over the entire dish. The view is stunning! We loved sitting outside right by the water. Also our waitress was very kind and attentive.

We drove our to Long Island to visit our friends and the drove us to the Farm Country Kitchen for lunch. Parking is a problem but we got lucky as a car just pulled out as we were arriving. We were greased by a friendly lady and taken to a table under the cover. Table was ok but we did not get a view. Restaurant was full. They also have outside seating down on the grass by the water. We ordered a mix of hamburger, tacos, salad with meat and a turkey wrap. All four reported very tasty dishes. The overall experience was very nice. Will definitely go again if we are in the area.

What a great way to start our weekend at Riverhead! We all loved our dishes and drinks! Service was wonderful and we even had a private dining area upstairs! Not a lot of vegan options, but my dinner was wonderful!

We went for brunch and sat outside by the water on a Saturday afternoon. Our server, Matt was so friendly and helped us order. The drinks were strong and all the food was delicious and tasted fresh. Will definitely come back for dinner!

I’ve been a chef for 37 years and when I eat out I want the food to be fresh, well-seasoned, and made with care and they deliver. Yes, the view is nice, and the farmhouse is charming, but none of that matters if the food doesn’t meet expectations. I almost didn’t come here because of some reviews, but I honestly don’t think they are fair. If you are looking for a very reasonably priced fresh and delicious meal, then make this your next place to eat. You won’t be sorry. Pictured here is the Stella, a breaded chicken cutlet topped with provolone and prosciutto and just enough sauce, served on a rosemary roll. Served with a side salad and house made dressing. My husband had the steak sandwich served on French bread, also served with the salad.

Absolutely wonderful place to dine at. If driving by you will most likely miss it but it amazing on the river. Food and dessert was amazing and service was fantastic. It is a maze of wonder as you walk through with beautiful views and many different areas to eat to enjoy the different views.

I just visited Farm Country Kitchen and had the worst experience. We were seated outside and greeted by our waiter—a gentleman with sunglasses —but after that, he never came back. We waited about 10 minutes, repeatedly looking at him, and I’m sure he noticed, yet he stayed focused on chatting with the table beside us instead of checking on us. We eventually left without ordering anything. Very poor service. Please train staff to manage all their tables, not just the ones they feel like entertaining.

This place was recommended by friends who go to greenport often. We had to push our reservation from 8:00 till 9:00 unfortunately because of traffic from the city. We arrived on time. The service on the floor staff was very gracious and pleasant. The bartender yelling across the room to the hostess at about 9:25 asking if the 9:00 reservation had arrived was unnecessary. These are conversations that you have quietly when you're in the hospitality business. We enjoyed the oysters Friskafella and the truffle fries Rest of the food was okay. It was hard to find the lobster in the lobster quesadilla and the salsa had browned out avocado in it. The chicken Milanese was overly browned in an unsightly manner but the meat was not dry. It did have a nice watermelon feta salad underneath it. The tomato gratin was moltenly hot and mostly bread crumbs. The frisee salad was very unpleasant looking. It was overdressed with a brownish dressing that made it look very unappetizing. Plus, the pancetta chunks were like pork rocks. They were hard from being overcooked.

This has been on our list to try! We happened to be in Greenport and were looking for a place for dinner! The online reservations said they were booked with only later availability! I decided to call directly and they had openings! Plus when we got there at 6 there was plenty of open tables so don’t rely on the online reservations as they may say booked and they aren’t. This place is super pretty and has a cool bar vibe plus front seating which opens to the outdoors. We sat towards the back and although the tables for 2 were somewhat close I APPRECIATED that because it wasn’t packed they spaced out the parties of 2. I never understand why they seat parties of 2 right next to each other when there are plenty of other party of 2 tables available. I sometimes will not frequent a restaurant with tight quarters because it’s like you are dining with strangers where they hear everything you say and vice versa, which is so not ideal 😝. But anyway, this place was great and did not disappoint!!! It is on the dark side inside so you may have to use your iPhone flashlight like we did! Our server was super great, knowledgeable and offered recommendations when we asked! We ended up going with the salad (I forget the name but it had bacon), def the Oysters topped with some goodness, the pork chop and the scallops!! And of course a kettle one martini! Overall EVERYTHING was DELISH!!! So happpppy we came here! We skipped on dessert as the hubs wanted to get ice cream in town. When we left about 7:15 ish the place was starting to get busy but still a nice cool chill vibe that definitely wasn’t overwhelming! If you are in the area I definitely recommend you check it out!! I rate this a legit 5 star restaurant in Greenport on the North Fork!! 💖💪🏻💖💪🏻

My husband and I went to dinner for our anniversary and had a lovely time. The food was amazing and our server, Cara, was so attentive and sweet. Our cocktails were well made. I had the chopped vegetable salad and it might be the best salad I’ve ever had! The owner even sent over a complimentary serving of their signature item, oysters friskafella, for our special occasion. We just wanted to say thank you to the gracious staff and for providing such a wonderful experience.

It is essential to make a reservation! It is a good idea to get there a bit early and grab a drink at the bar. Drinks are great and be prepared to pay $24 for a cocktail 🍹 but you won't be disappointed. Chit chat with bar buddies. Great environment. Bartenders and waitresses are all very accommodating. As so many restaurants are no longer bringing bread to the table, this establishment brings warm bread with salted butter. Delicious 😋. It was tough to make a choice for my entree as everything sounded delicious! I chose the shrimp with ramen 🍜. I was really satisfied with my choice. The shrimp were cooked perfectly. The broth and veggies complimented the entire dish. We also ordered the sea scallops. Done perfectly! We ended with two desserts. A pecan pie which was absolutely amazing and a chocolate hazelnut cake. All the desserts are made on premises. They have a pastry chef. We were not rushed. They are one of the restaurants in Greenport that are open late. I am looking forward to going here again !

I’m giving the restaurant a 2-star rating because although the food was good, the server disappeared and never came back - ruining the experience. We’d give it one star, but because the food was delicious, I had to bump it up a star. After getting our drinks, the server never came back to our table and we never saw her in the dining room again. After getting our entrees and finishing eating, the man bussing our table asked if we wanted to see a dessert menu. Once we got that, we sat for 30 minutes without anybody coming to check if we wanted anything. Another server saw us looking around and she brought our check. After waiting another 10 minutes & visibly looking around, that other server finally came back to close out our bill. Horrible experience. For the price we paid, that is not the service we expected. As for the food & drinks… we recommend the Shineapple Express & Pink Panther if you like sweeter drinks. The grilled Caesar salad was OK, but not our favorite. The Lobster Gigli pasta was delicious and so was the Pomegranate BBQ Short Ribs (sweet/fruity BBQ flavor).

I'm not sure why there have been so many recent negative results for The Frisky Oyster. I actually think that Frisky was better than another more highly rated restaurant in town. The atmosphere is moody and not sterile. The service is attentive and also friendly. Our food was very delicious and inventive. Clearly a nice restaurant and definitely recommend this for a special occasion or just a great dinner.

I enjoyed my meal here! I had the baked clams and tuna nachos. The baked clams were delicious and flavorful(6 pieces). Delicious to dip the rosemary bread in! The tuna nachos were not over the top but good! It could have used another texture, maybe some avocado or edamame. The staff were kind and the outdoor view is a 10/10 on a warm day. I would recommend this place!

My first time here with my families Food was ok but not flavorful most of them just plain don’t get me wrong i been many places try different foods i do expect the seafood here but came out a little disappointed, lobster rolls was plain no flavor, and the pasta seafood a lot of different clams still plain flavor and I found a little sand in side the clams most of them , and one more thing the steak sandwich the bread was a little brunt, but one thing here was great it’s a server was very nice and the place was very beautiful .

Finally! A place that brings you a burger medium rare when you order a medium rare burger! And a burger was out of this world! The clam chowder, I could eat all day. Could use a few more clams, but the flavor is really on point! Waiters are friendly, fast and eager to please. I would definitely recommend this place.

A Lure never disappoints. The view is amazing. The rear outdoor patio is very scenic and beautifully done. I had made 8pm reservations for a Friday for my husband and myself. I had a perfectly made spicy margarita and then we ordered a Cesar salad and sautéed calamari to start with. Both delish. The calamari was so tender and the salsa was fantastic. Nice, healthy app! I ordered the grilled swordfish with “forbidden rice” and mango salsa. It came with some very fresh green beans. The fish was cooked perfectly. I had never seen black rice before but the flavors were outstanding with the coconut and mango combo. I would eat this every night if i could. My husband ordered the macadamia-coconut crusted flounder. The fish was fried and had a delicious crust. Very large portions. It also came with green beans but the sweet potato purée was so good that I wanted it to be the last thing I tasted! The service was excellent and the restaurant is decorated perfectly with elegant nautical vibes….and you cannot beat that view! They have curtains to separate the dining room for private parties and the bar was packed last night. Big parking lot and very easy to get to. Highly recommended!

We had such a wonderful experience at The Halyard for our anniversary! We were able to get the exact reservation time we wanted, and while outdoor seating wasn’t available, the indoor ambiance and service were just as lovely. Our server and the staff were incredibly sweet, the food was delicious. To top it all off, they brought us complimentary champagne to celebrate, such a thoughtful and memorable touch. Highly recommend for a special occasion or romantic night out. ☺️

We celebrated our wedding anniversary here with friends celebrating theirs, and The Halyard made it a night to remember. The baked clams were the perfect start, followed by a juicy double smash burger and a beautifully cooked halibut that was fresh and flaky. A glass of One Woman wine paired perfectly with the meal. We sat outside facing the Sound, and I’d highly recommend it for the views and atmosphere. Our server Robert was attentive and courteous, which made the evening even more enjoyable. Warm, welcoming, and coastal—this is the kind of place you look forward to coming back to.

On holiday from the UK I couldn’t fault the place. Amazing food, I’d recommend the streak, the lobster roll or the crab cakes. They were all truly amazing. We visited in July and the Sunset was a good as the one I saw in Zanzibar. The staff were super friendly and the young guy who served us was fantastic from start to finish. This place is 5 star if I could have given it 6 I would have 👍🏻

Absolutely loved our experience here! The new chef has completely redone the menu and the food is incredible — every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully put together. The service was just as impressive as the food: friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome from the moment we walked in. The location can’t be beat — right on the water in Greenport with sunset views that are absolutely stunning. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality of both the food and service definitely make it worth it. A must-visit spot if you’re in the area!

Had a wonderful evening at Halyard. Service was fantastic, the setting phenomenal, wine list great. My husband's chicken Caesar is one of the best I've tasted. My scallops were tasty but the too salty sauce they were served in detracted. Will definitely return!

Hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. Bill and his team were so attentive and beyond accommodating. The beautiful view and sunset was just an added bonus. 10/10 would definitely recommend! We can’t wait to go back.

A wonderful spot by the harbor to grab a bite or drink. The atmosphere was relaxed and service was prompt and professional. food came out reasonably quick. It was delicious and great quality. Will definitely be back!

We had lunch at Port and it was a pleasant surprise. The views of the harbor are beautiful. You watch the ferry boats pulling in and out while enjoying one of Long Islands best lobster rolls. I had the hot lobster roll and my wife had the cold lobster roll. The fries were grwat too. This place won't disappoint. Just don't expect great service at the gazebo bar. The table service is far better and the only reason to visit Port.

Delicious lobster! Very generous portions, we could hardly finish our lobster dishes they were piled so high. Definitely get what you pay for! Clam chowder and calamari was amazing too.

Wonderful setting for a very good restaurant. Started with Maurice Salad & Clam Chowder, both very good! P.E.I Mussels, and Baked Clams both excellent! Unfortunately the Crab Sushi was very boring. All In all, very good service with a farm to table menu and absolutely worth a visit. We will return.

T he chef created such innovative and delicious dishes! Even the biscuit that came with mama Lee's fried chicken was so different and over the top. The hog wings were delicious and portions on all meals were great. The service was impeccable with everyone working so well together. Will be grabbing my peeps and heading back!

Not a fan! Waited over an hour for our food. Some dishes were delicious but the hot lobster roll was over-cooked and not hot. The server did not tell us that this was their first weekend being open until we had to ask about our food 1 hour later. I’m giving it a 3 because the service was atrocious! The place has been in business for many years, this was unacceptable! They did not charge us for the Calamai and gave us $50 off our bill but personally I felt they should have given us a round of drinks. Not only did we wait over an hour for the appetizer then it was another 30 minutes for the entree at which time they brought out 3 of the six and another 20 minutes before the last 3 entrees came out. The last 3 entrees were luke warm and over-cooked.

Truly the best place for a rehearsal dinner or event in Greenport. Jonathan was super communicative, flexible, and easy to work with. The food was excellent—we customized the menu for both our dinner and welcome drinks, and everyone raved about the lobster rolls. The gazebo bar right on the water created the perfect vibe, and the cozy blankets on a chilly summer night made it feel intimate and special. It really set the tone for the whole wedding weekend! We are so grateful!

While North Fork Shack is called a shack, it clearly is not a shack with Bentley sedans parked out front while their owners stop for a bite. The menu is quite refined with some great choices. The specials are fantastic too. We ordered the cod croquettes, but they were out so they allowed us to substitute with the Buffalo Mahi bites which were amazing. The New England Clam Chowder is also tasty and has tons of clams. The eggplant hummus with plantain chips was also terrific. Overall a great meal and definitely recommend.

Our entire family went for lunch. We enjoyed our food. Service was prompt and friendly. I enjoyed the fish sandwich. We loved the plátanos.

This is one of those places where a three feels too low and a four feels too high. It's a place where you order at the counter and the food is brought out to you. A lot of people order to go, at least in our visit. Hearty portions of good food with a fun short menu, though. Have to say that it is indeed a good place to consider when traveling along the north shore.

I came here once and the food was so good that I had to come back again. even from far away! Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. The staff is super friendly, and the vibe is relaxed and welcoming. Totally worth the trip every time, and I’ll keep coming back for that delicious food!

We finally made it to The North Fork Shack and it did not disappoint. We ordered the Pulled Chicken Tacos which were amazing, great flavor and the chipotle aioli was tasty. The Plantain Chips were lightly salted and delicious. The Butternut Squash Soup was light and smooth with toasted pumpkin seeds on top. The vibe was casual and the staff was kind. I would definitely recommend checking it out. They are closed for the winter but open again in March.

Ordered the steak sandwich and it was absolutely delicious, as were the fries I got on the side. The service was great, all employees were friendly and answered any questions I had. The food didn't take long to come out. The atmosphere fit the small town vibe of Southold and was causal and comfortable. Will definitely be returning!

The North Fork Shack is the perfect spot for relaxed, flavorful dining. The casual atmosphere pairs beautifully with their standout dishes, it’s a delicious substitute. Superb service and thoughtful seasonal specials make this place a must visit

This place is beautiful and I highly recommend sitting outside if possible. Last night I sat inside and it was super loud. Lots of people celebrating birthdays etc. Waitress was too busy and service was less than expected for the cost of the meal. Luckily the tuna, lobster roll, Tira misu and Skyscraper chocolate cake were superb!

Went out East to spend the day and picked this restaurant on the water. What a pleasant surprise! The outside deck had a nice view of the harbor. The food was amazing...perfectly cooked and delicious. The wait staff was impeccable and knew what true food service was, with our waitress, Paula, paying attention to every detail. I definitely recommend this restaurant and I will be going back for a long time to come. Congratulations to the owner and staff of this hidden gem!

This establishment is conveniently situated on the waterfront. My selection of this restaurant was predicated on the accessibility for patrons arriving via personal watercraft. The availability of docking facilities for boat travelers was a key consideration. "On The Dock" offers two dedicated boat slips, B2 and B4, also bulkheaded. In addition to the appealing water views, the restaurant provides a positive dining experience with satisfactory cuisine and a helpful, friendly staff, as evidenced by my inquiry regarding docking arrangements.

We tried the chicken quesadilla, Caesar salad, and shrimp tacos. I never in my life had tacos with seafood but I loved them. There is seating inside and outdoors. Very comfy outdoors with a tent to block the sun but still get a light breeze and feel the heat from the sun. Love place overall. My wife and I will be back for sure Watching the boats on the dock while enjoying lunch here today was an unforgettable experience. Felt like we were in Europe. Love the nautical views

During my lunch visit, we ordered the Lobster Bake, in addition to an alcoholic iced sweet tea and a Corona. Perfect for enjoying on a warm afternoon by the water. On The Docks is recognized for its pet-friendly policy, allowing leashed dogs to join their owners at outdoor tables. The restaurant offered a spacious outdoor deck adorned with string lights, providing a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.

On the docks is not only classy because of its atmosphere and astonishing service, the food is incredibly delicious. Our server, Nicole, was extremely attentive and provided us with excellent service. She had a bright smile on her face and answered all of our questions with expertise. Furthermore, she provided us with splendid service. The food was incredible. Definitely the best oysters we’ve ever had, and the Octopus was delicious. The salad, topped with beats and asparagus was refreshing and topped with the dressing was absolute perfection. The atmosphere was delightful and classy and the view was a bonus on top. Cannot wait to visit again, we had an amazing experience.

First time being here and I was very impressed in the service and attention to detail. The food was amazing and I can't wait to come back next year!

Great place, great atmosphere and good food. Some of the food portions are a little skimpy. The octopus appetizer had very little octopus in it but it was very delicious. The halibut special was very bland and lacked flavor. It was a decent size piece of fish with virtually no flavor and a couple of beans on the plate. Definitely won't order that again. Drinks seem to lack some alcohol and for the price I would have expected them to be larger as well. Our server also seemed to be very focused on certain tables. We waited at least 10-15 minutes before our drink orders were taken and we were finished with our drinks before our food order was taken. We were never asked how everything was. I had to stop our server on her way by just to order another round of drinks. Overall the experience wasn't great, just ok. You can get there by boat and they have dock service. I highly recommend reservations as they get very busy and they have live music which is nice. I've been here before and it's always been good for the most part but this time definitely wasn't the best. I will post pictures once I get them from my gf.

I Love Long Island and this beautiful Restaurant! I could sit there outside all Day! The waitstaff is wonderful, The food is delicious and the prices are what they are if you would like to sit outside at a beautiful place on Long Island with a gorgeous view! It is worth every penny every time I go!

The Good: Incredible views. Fantastic cocktails. Solid seafood options. The Bad: Tremendously slow, inattentive service. The Summary: The outdoor patio and bar are right on the water. You can dock your boat, step ashore, and have a cold drink in hand in mere minutes.

Delicious spot near greenport! Food amazing, views are outstanding and the atmosphere is just so relaxing. Restaurant has fire pits and great outdoor dining area! There is also an outdoor bar area with TVs! We ordered skirt steak, seafood ravioli and shrimp bucatini! Outdoor section is also dog friendly!!

Obviously the location here is the draw. The meal, however, was an overall disappointment. The service was exceptionally slow and went downhill from there. We asked for bread 3x and only received it after our apps were served. There were 8 people at the table and were provided one basket with 5 pieces. Good luck finding someone to ask for more. Certain dishes we asked to split - but they didn’t even bring an extra plate, let alone split the portion. No one came around to refill water and we had to flag down a random waiter to get a drink we had ordered 20 mins prior. No offers for a second round of drinks. We ate and skipped desert because it was not worth the wait. Also - the live music was an awful karaoke type duo who my nephew noticed didn’t even plug in their electric instruments. Perhaps a nice scene if you’re coming for a drink on the dock, but far from a high end dining experience.

What a wonderful down to earth waterfront dining experience. The halibut special and drinks were a perfect combo. Add the late afternoon sun lit soft colored vista and… Too bad the musician was a no show. Several more visits, musicians showed. All good. Had the seafood pot and fish and chips. Yes, pricey, but worth it!

Oysters were outstanding some of the best I’ve ever had. The ceviche and the taquitos were delicious. Fish tacos were just OK. The staff were excellent. A bit pricey but I highly recommend.

Awesome hidden gem! The ceviche was perfectly made, one of the best I ever had and the frittura as well was fresh and delicious! Service was attentive. I’ll definitely be back when in the area.

There was a pleasant coastal vibe with live music. Tastefully decorated environment. The server was attentive. The food was tasty. My son ordered a burger medium rare and it arrived very rare. It truly wasn’t edible. The server took immediate responsibility and placed a new order. The corrected order had the burger cooked perfectly. My hot honey jerk ribs were excellent. My daughter had the red dragon noodles. They were flavorful but the noodles were a bit mushy. The Cesar salad was excellent. The sourdough bread came with an olive oil mixture that was too salty. The server apologized again about the rare burger and generously offered a complementary dessert to both my children. I greatly appreciated the gesture.

Having left our credit card at the restaurant last evening, we decided to have dinner again for the second time at The Little Fish. Everything is perfect at this restaurant. The decor is eclectic and unique. All the employees are friendly and provide right on for details of menu items and drinks. Our server was Sam. Tonight our beverages were a Thai basil daiquiri and a Classic Cointreau Margarita. Both were perfect. For our appetizers had perfectly grilled locally caught whole red shrimp on a ají amarillo sauce. Also we enjoyed the Mermaid Makeout Oysters which consisted of Herb Oil, Charred Pineapple Relish, Cracked Pink Peppercorn and Classic Mignonette. Wild Fennel Mussels consisting of Local Wild Fennel, Shallots, Herb Butter, White Wine, Pernod and Grilled Sourdough. We also enjoyed the Little Fish Cornbread which is their Signature Little Fish Shaped Cornbread which is Baked to Order served with Honey Butter. The owner Arden was very pleasant to talk to. He has a wonderful restaurant and staff.

This little gem of a place is truly wonderful. The entire staff is so friendly but I hope Sam is forever there because she is a star! From the recommendations which were on point to her bubbly personality - she was such a pleasure! The menu is small but perfection. Everything we had was so flavorful - the tacos, the squid, the chicken sandwich ⭐️ the Caesar salad - all so very good and fresh! The drinks were strong but really good! And we ended with a chocolate cake desert and cappuccinos. The beach is two blocks away. It is a private beach but you can take a quick walk over after eating. Really glad I found this spot. Will be a new fave on the list.

Update: Went back their 1st day open again (March 28 2024).. and of course, had my favorite mezzo app! 😍 That pita bread 🤤 Sam was great as always but one thing that did happen was a credit card charge on receipt but we paid cash. It says CC service charge. We just asked about it and then she said she forgot to take it off so we just told her if she took it off to just keep it as part of the tip we already left. Also we ordered mussels but felt like we took out a lot of empty shells. We found some in the broth but was alot of empty more than would be. Enough that we both questioned it. 🫣 so we will try again. B loves the cornbread. I just remember the key lime pie I had last year for my bday. Yum! OLD REVIEW: I thought I already left a review but realized I didn't. This was my favorite discovery last Summer and I kept coming back bringing different people! I got sad to see it was temporarily closed but it is scheduled to open today and we are coming! 🤣 Gotta go find all the pictures. I even celebrated my Bday there last year. Willing to drive from Southampton just to order to go 🤣 Such a cute place...great food!

One of the best dining experiences we’ve had! The oysters, shishito peppers, fish tacos and poke bowl were out of this world and the Bloody Mary and spicy margaritas were the perfect accompaniment! We truly loved this meal and can’t wait to return.

One of the best meals we’ve ever had. Ordered three appetizers and two entrees to share. Everything was out of this world. Focaccia with the whipped ricotta, Oysters, Bloomin’ Onions, Pork and the Roasted Fish. The flavors were outstanding, especially the super tender pork, and the fish with the brothy beans. My husband enjoyed a cocktail as well that was unique and tasty. The dim lights, cozy atmosphere is just what we wanted. Highly, highly recommend! If you’re staying at Silver Sands, then this place is a no brainer! Hang out in the lobby/bar before and/or after as well to extend your experience. Thank you for the amazing meal. Side note, definitely make a reservation!! You don’t want to take a chance and miss out on this place!

Before I even get into anything else, We need to Talk about the Chef, Finn. The man is one of the, no, actually he is THE best hospitality professional I have ever met in my life. I cannot praise him enough. I have never seen a chef so in love with the art of hospitality the way he is. Most chefs do not interact with guests the way he does. Also, the food here is the best food you will eat on Long Island. (It's probably some of the best food you will eat period) I stand firmly behind this. This is not the formulaic pedestrian menu with salmon,chicken,steak and a burger checking off the boxes to appeal to the generic masses. This is however, a symphony of incredible, delicious, dishes- stunningly executed. The food is extremely high level, yet also approachable. So if you are a person who wants fine dining quality food without the pomp and circumstance and pretense, this is the place for you. If you want to be in a trendy space that is also warm and welcoming this is the place for you. It is levels above anything else anywhere on both Northfork and The Southfork. It is also shockingly well priced. As a New York City transplant who lives with a trained chef, this is the only restaurant I actually feel is worth going out to eat within a 40 mile radius. You can taste how much the Chef loves what he does and how much he wants you to be there. I am done settling for less than that anywhere else, and being served low effort uninspired meals.

We had a terrific dinner at the counter. Great cocktails and a small but delicious menu. The Bloomin Onion (tempura scallions) were a great appetizer for sharing. Don’t miss the chocolate pudding for dessert.

This cozy little luncheonette was perfect. We had breakfast and lunch here for a couple days when we stayed. Super friendly staff and really nice breakfast energize you for a great day.

Our favorite place to eat in Greenport! The breakfast and lunch are simply amazing. Food is incredible, great service and the cozy little diner sets a perfect atmosphere. The breakfast sausage biscuit is to die for along with the blueberry pancakes and hasbrowns. Dinners fried chick and roasted fish were both excellent but the chicken was perhaps the best chicken cutlet I’ve ever had. They have seasonal menus, drinks and desserts. We can’t wait to go back again!

Out in Greenport for a few days and tried some new places. Loved this place so much we went back the next morning for breakfast and are planning to stay at the Silver Sands for our next trip.

Great find! On a chilly winter night Nookies provided the perfect last minute (a rare occurrence, I believe) dinner for two with cool easy vibes and really yummy warming food. Fun retro decor and neat off the beaten path spot in Southold area. We also got a nice quick little tour of the motel and would love to stay here on our next visit out! Will definitely be back!

My two friends and I shared all of the dishes we ordered... Charred Octopus - delicious; we all enjoyed Sautéed Broccolini - delicious; crunchy, not overcooked Creamy Polenta - delicious; creamy and cheesy Fresh Housemade Cavatelli - underwhelming; the veal and mirepoix ragu was watery and a bit bland Black Squid Ink Linguini - underwhelming; shrimp was tender and plump, but sauce was bland and watery again Grilled Branzino - delicious; perfectly cooked and seasoned Chocolate Delight - yummy; nice chocolate and hazelnut elements combined on the plate; different textures were definitely a delight to finish off the meal; good dessert to share Overall, this was a very lovely meal. The restaurant has a nice ambience for dating couples, but they easily accommodated families and large groups. The service we received was top-notch.

I was so impressed with Southold Social, as was my husband and daughter.We just had Thanksgiving dinner yesterday and it was beyond exceptional.Everything from the greeting when entering, the ambiance, staff, and of course the food it was impeccable. And I must add the bartender, she made an amazing strawberry jalapeño martini, which happens to be my favorite cocktail. The presentation of the whole meal and drinks was so beautifully presented. We’re locals and have eaten at all restaurant's on the north fork, even for Thanksgiving. Southold Social was by far the best yet.

Relaxed despite its trendy vibe and sophisticated fare. Salads are huge. Pasta is well prepared. Pork chop is Fred Flintstone-esque. Wine list is varied and priced about what one expects.

The food was incredible at Southold Social. I love the restaurant. The bar area is really cute and it was a lively place. Also the outdoor patio looks lovely, but it was very hot when I ate there so we chose to eat inside. The food was delicious. My favorites are linguine with clams, and the octopus. Both were incredible. I loved everything I ate and my cocktail was also delicious… I forgot what it was called, but it was a tequila drink. I highly recommend you try this wonderful restaurant in Southold.

We happened to stop in when the surf and turf was featured. Steak like butter and succulent lobster roll along with wedge salad were our main attraction. Service was spot on and professional. Would recommend to anyone looking for an upscale dining experience.

What an absolute amazing dining experience. Laura the host was delightful and was able to accommodate our early arrival among the busy restaurant. The food is 5 star. The linguine vongole was outstanding….the freshness of every bite was perfect. The garlic was sweet and fresh and the clams tasted like they were just plucked out of the sea! The fresh Tuna was simply heavenly with the local radish and decadent cream sauce. Scallops were seared to perfection with a brown butter sauce, again fresh and delicious! The pork chop was tender and cooked to perfection accompanied by the smoothest silkiest creamy polenta….to die for! The Summer Bourbon cocktail hit the spot before dinner and the espresso martini was the perfect finishing touch. It’s cozy, clean, modern and rustic. The local artwork on display was a great touch and added to the lovely setting. Our one hour drive to dinner was 100% worth it. The North Fork is lucky to have this 5 Star Gem of a restaurant! A neighborhood gem! We love to come for a drink and play some pool with the family. They are also very dog friendly! They don't serve food, but allow you to bring in food from home or restaurants.

A great place just slightly off the beaten path in Southold. Kevin and his wife are the proprietors. Kevin came from Ireland 35 yrs ago and never left. 7 yrs ago we stopped in here, three weeks after they opened. And today we returned and Kevin was a very gracious and engaging host. They have expanded and offer plenty of entertainment. The fourth Sunday of every month they have an Irish band and the good time flow from there. There is also karaoke every Thursday. Come on down and have a brew, booze or wine.

Great beer and wine selection, focusing on local wineries and breweries, but not limited to those only. Yes you can get a Bud light here. Very nice staff, and comfortable setting.

NOT open on Mondays, but still the best bar on the North Fork! Only place to get a real pour of Guinness! Not to mention the only pool table in Southold. Live music, karaoke and open mic nights. Outside seating available too during nice weather.

Went in briefly for a quick drink before I headed back to Los Angeles. I only had one beer but it was good and tasty. Place was clean and well tended to. Service was great as well. I didn't know it made news recently until I read the reviews here...I didn't experience any issues. I paid my tab, my friend and I behaved properly, we can handle our liquor :) Thank you and I hope to visit again, absolutely loved the decor.

Ignore the negative reviews (which are all fake. Apparently there was some frisson with a very drunk and obnoxious wedding party). This is a wonderful spot with a great vibe. They carry an excellent selection of local wines and craft beers and the best Guiness stout on the north fork. Always friendly and fun. Check it out!

We would never go back! We had dinner reservations and were seated 40 minutes late, while waiting for our seats I went to the bar for drinks and proceeded to wait 20 minutes for a drink. The bartenders were obviously inexperienced and understaffed. I requested to speak with the owner and his reply was that his staff was very young and inexperienced, that he himself was dining with friends in the restaurant and even he had poor service. In addition to the poor and unprofessional response by the owner we waited 45 minutes between the appetizer and the entrees being served, others seated after us were served their entrees while we watched. The food was good, the chef came to the table to apologize for the wait, but offered no rational for why it was so delayed. It is clear the owner has no regard for his clientele, his demeanor was insulting and at the very least could have offered us a complimentary after dinner drink. This experience was not unique to our group, I overheard the hostess speaking with other patrons waiting for their tables as well. There are many fine restaurants on the North Fork deserving and more appreciative of our patronage.

A good addition to the North Fork's quality restaurants. Italian accented food, much of it creative, most of it delicious (although, as with any restaurant, occasional misses). The service is friendly and attentive. The decor was attractive, but has so many hard services, and many uncovered windows, so it must be noisy when busy (which, on the basis of the food, it deserves to be).

@$100/person (3 courses with no drinks) this place should be really making some knock out dishes. I had the Grilled Calamari Skewers with House made bread crumbs, they sound better than they taste. Basically, 3 Grilled breaded Calamari Skewers. The edge bread crumbs are burnt and that flavor takes over. Next I had the Buffalo Milk Ricotta Ravioli with Summer Black Truffles. This should be an appetizer, because the first bite is good, but then the heaviness of the dish makes it hard to eat as a main course. The summer truffles did not add any flavor to the dish, this seems really odd since I LOVE and eat truffles regularly.

Amazing food and ambience. We started off with the calamari skewers and the buffalo mozzarella caprese. Both were fresh and delightful. I had the filet mignon with the umbrian black truffle which was delicious and cooked to perfection. My girlfriend had the buffalo milk ricotta ravioli which she said was the best pasta dish has had in years. I definitely recommend this restaurant as a must try if you are in the area.

Caci is a wonderful new restaurant in North Fork that served a dinner that will be hard to top! The restaurant is in a lovely old home, nicely renovated with a clean, simple, beautiful décor, that extends to a second floor for added seating. There is plenty of parking in the back; the grounds are lovely. For dinner the four of us, although usually during elegant dining wouldn't swap "tastes", at Caci we couldn't resist. The Cold Tomato soup was amazing; you would especially like it if you enjoy gazpacho. Grilled Calamari Skewers is not an item I would normally order, but these melted in my mouth. Saffron Risotto with Asparagus was so very good. Lemon & Thyme Chicken Breast may be the best chicken ever! As were the specially prepared potatoes that came with. Fluke Filet with white wine was delicious. The Potato Gnocchi was the lightest and most delicious we'd ever had. (You can eat more than 3!) Desserts were a heavenly Carmel Gelato with Toffee sauce, a good Chocolate Cake with Raspberry sauce, and a sweet and creamy Tiramisu with Hazelnuts that almost made me cry. It was that good! The service for the evening was attentive. Perfect evening!

Experienced the boathouse menu and it was delightful. We had raw oysters and their hot dog and both were amazing. The hot dog was not your typical hot dog, it was cooked perfectly, with a crispy bun and tasty toppings. The oysters were locally sourced and fresh, presentation was great and taste was top notch. Overall, Eddie’s was amazing!

Amazing food, amazing service, and the scenery was gorgeous. We ordered multiple apps and entrees off the menu plus dessert and it was absolutely incredible. Cannot wait to go back! 10/10.

Lovely place and relaxed setting really allowed us to ‘escape’ even if just for a meal, while dining out with a little one. All the dishes were great, but it’s the combo of the delicious food, friendly service and chilled out setting along with the wonderful views that sets this place apart.

We've been lucky enough to have dinner twice at Eddie's at Silver Sands and frankly, we can't wait to go back. Let's start with the food: A lot of places on the East End try and slide by with 2star food, knowing there aren't many other places to go. Eddie's, on the other hand, has clearly invested in top quality ingredients and a top-notch chef. The food was incredible. Now the service: I mean, how nice can people get?! Everyone was so sweet, helpful and attentive. Finally, the atmosphere: Hard to go wrong with your feet in soft sand, the waves lapping in front of you on the shore and a gentle summer breeze. If you get the chance....go! You won't regret it.

New favorite place on the North Fork, especially compared to other waterfront spots which range from awful to good enough. Inventive menu, quality food, great service, reasonably priced and a beautiful location. I've found They take walk-ins so call if online bookings are full.

Arrived early to check in so thought we would have a snack at Eddies. We had ceviche which was excellent served in a coconut shell from which you could eat the coconut with a spoon. Drinks were outstanding and the service was low key but so professional and knowledgeable about the menu. We loved the fish bites which were shark. Outstanding dining experience.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience and fantastic meal at the Boathouse. Chef Finn and his staff did a terrific job. The atmosphere, the food and the energy of community was incredibly authentic. Can’t wait to go back soon.

IT REALLY IS AN AUTHENTIC 75+ YEAR OLD BOATHOUSE ON THE PECONIC BAY BEACH. Warm, friendly, understated visit to the “old” North Fork. Alex, Finn and the crew have worked hard to connect the past and the present. Completely enjoyed the food, drinks and hospitality we experienced during my evening at the “BOATHOUSE”.

This place is a gem! We had delicious Pipes Cove Oysters and the Smoked Bluefish Roll. It was just delicious. The atmosphere is cool and the service is fantastic.

Visiting the Boathouse feels like you were given access to some secret club. The food, drinks and attention to detail in resurrecting this waterside building is a gift to the north fork.

I enjoyed the lobster roll, which was overflowing with tasty lobster. My wife loved her dynamite shrimp and says this was her favorite meal in our few days in the North Fork. We sat outdoors and enjoyed the view. Service was friendly though a bit slow.

Ordered a pastrami sandwich, came cold no apologies ,.. they just took my sandwich back and gave me a worm back..SMH first time there and last time there. Wasn't busy but waitress barely came to ask for refills or check if everything was good had a feeling that this place is just good for local people,.. so if you are not for the area make sure that they take care you before you order. Place was pricey service not good. I don't usually give bad reviews but this place wasn't feel right. Had a very bad feeling 😞. We were a party of 18 people and they all felt the same. Ughhhhhhh

The food is incredible, I ordered the sweet potato veggie burger over greens. So delicious. The staff was very friendly and had great communication. It’s going to by my new regular spot. I also got their decaf coffee which was great as well.

We had quite a variety of food. From the homemade soups to the amazing lunches. Everything was prepared with care and , as always, tasted wonderful. I give this place a 10plus! If you are in town, Erik’s is a MUST STOP! You will love it!

Food is delicious! Fried flounder sandwich was amazing. Fried mac & cheese nuggets so fun. Staff is extremely helpful and attentive. Really great. Homemade gazpacho was gourmet quality. Broccoli and cheese soup delicious. Fried clams were excellent, meaty and generous. Can't rave enough that this is a wonderful place!

Nice meals, hefty portions, nice service, unfortunately the inside dining capacity is limited, so calling ahead to see how many people are waiting on a weekend might be a good idea until capacity goes back to more normal. Food was burnt awful food. The waitress had to have known the food was burnt, hamburgers well done when I ordered medium rare. Guinness was awful, lines need to be cleaned and the drinks come with a LOT of ice!

One of my favorite places for food out east. Hands down the best burgers on the north fork. (And I'll admit there are other excellent burgers in the area). Very friendly staff. Dog-friendly outdoor seating. Superb nachos and chili as well. In short, I've been there lots of times with lots of folks, all of whom have been happy with whatever they've ordered.

Quiet little place to grab some food. The restaurant is clean and well decorated. When we were there the staff was not busy so they were cleaning light fixtures (definitely clean place). The hand dryer in the bathroom is so powerful, it could blow you away. Okay, well at least you can tell from tables away who washed their hands. The burger was good. I had some apple cheddar burger that was good, but didn't want me to order again. The steak fries were great and they give you a lot with the order. All in all, it was good, but if I was back in town I wouldn't go back again.

Definitely one of the best burgers I've had. The decor was nice and calming, a very clean establishment. The wait staff was very courteous and responsive as well. The food was great, our party ordered all burgers and one plate was more than filling so I suggest you come here on an empty stomach. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Miss the original owner. He guaranteed quality service and quality food. Returned several times after the new owner took control. The food is now inferior to the original. Our last visit was last fall, not busy but our food was seved cold, hamburgers overcooked. I informed the male owner and he just smiled, then walked away. His wife became cognizant we were not eating and addressed our problem. She sent all the food back but the corrected orders left an after taste. The meat is not the same. Sad, as we enjoyed going.

I recently visited founders tavern and had an unpleasant experience with one of the workers. As soon as I walked in to the empty restaurant the server says”Are you going to be done by 5:30?” I respond with “yes that works” she resorts” well it’s going to have to work; we have a party coming in”. The food is decent and everything else goes smoothly we pay and leave a tip. The server raced outside to approach me and questioned the amount I left, implying dissatisfaction with their service. Next time, I’ll bring a calculator to make sure my tip is up to their standards! Was the tip not enough or was the clientele not to her standards?

As a European, I really liked this place, a real local America. The dishes were plentiful and delicious, and the service was very accessible and polite.

We have been meaning to try this place for forever! We have been out here for the past 2 years part time and we finally made it! This place is very unassuming and is easily missed on the street (there is a small sign that hangs overhead). We have been told by others how good it is so definitely had to try!! The burger I heard was amazing but definitely wanted to give some other food a try! We popped in for lunch on a Friday and it was low key and everyone so friendly. They have a really nice separate bar area and a big bar to sit at! I can totally see this place being packed out in the evenings and looks like it would be a fun time! We opted to sit in the dining room where there were just a few people. The very nice server had us seat wherever we wanted which was perfect! They have a big blackboard of dinner and cocktail specials on the wall! The dinner specials looked good and we would definitely be back to try! For our lunch choices we went with the soup of the day which was cauliflower and cheese! SUPER GOOD! We also had the dumplings as I saw someone posted the pic on google and they looked really good! They were!! I was trying to be good on my dining option 😝 so opted for the Cobb salad with blue cheese dressing versus what was offered! It was sooo good I ate most of it! Probably way more than I should have and planned…😂. My hubs went for the special which was a chicken burrito! That also was super good! And of course I added my Chardonnay for my Friday lunch time 💪🏻. Overall this place was delish!! It seems alot of locals come here and it is a warm friendly vibe! Would definitely recommend if you are in the area! This is for sure a 5 star!

Typical local pub spot. It is good. The beer selection is good. The food is pub food, not spectacular but good quality. The staff was great, bartenders are very nice and attentive, even on a busy football playoff time with a full bar. The Old Fashioned was good. If you want comfort food and a cozy environment, stop in. Tell em Barsnobs sent ya!

A really good restaurant on one side and a cool local sports bar on the other. Highly recommend the burgers and anything seafood.

Great burger , waitress / bartender was super sweet .

On a sunny day last week (June), a friend and I dropped by for slices of delish pepperoni pizzas .... however, I also couldn't resist trying one of their garlic knots that I enjoyed even more! The place's outdoor seating area is also pleasant with its many colorful pot plants & flowers.

This Long Island Italian restaurant was a spontaneous stop after a fishing trip. The service was solid, and the food arrived fast. I ordered classic spaghetti and meatballs with a side of sausage. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the meatballs were huge. The sausage was tasty, but I was too stuffed to finish it. The calamari appetizer was also well-prepared. Prices were reasonable for Long Island, New York. If you're craving Italian, it's a solid choice.

The interior of the building was nice. The waitress took a little long to get our orders. The calamari was really tender and the marinara sauces were perfectly made. The chicken parmesan was really good to. They also made extremely delicious bread rolls. The portion sizes are also exactly what I wanted.

If you want to wait for ok food and terrible service, this is your spot. Two hours for a meal. No management presence. Not even an apology. Hire more people and take ownership for your mistake. Kitchen fell way behind and expo could not fix service. Tony and Amy, get it together.

I would not recommend going here if you have food allergies or at all in general. I had a very bizarre experience while going out with a group of friends. I cannot eat any gluten or dairy, and read online that there were options for "all dietary restrictions" so it felt like a safe choice, but the staff were extremely rude and unknowledgeable about food allergies. I ordered a house salad with grilled chicken and asked a couple of questions to make sure there was not going to be any cross contamination or possible miscommunication about ingredients. I was met with very snarky remarks including asking how I am even able to eat out anywhere and that the chefs in the kitchen won't understand how to make those accommodations. As if lettuce, cucumbers, and grilled chicken with oil and vinegar is an insurmountable request. If the chefs are unable to process and execute something so simple that seems to be a larger issue that needs to be addressed by management. Many people in the world have allergies to many different types of foods, yes there is always a risk when dining out. However, many places are happy to accommodate to allergies on the east end, especially without rude remarks to their customers. I have never experienced anything like that before in all of my years safely dining across Long Island and the rest of the country. The food itself was very underwhelming. There were 4 pieces of grilled chicken and 4 slices of cucumber atop a bed of lettuce for nearly $25. They also included a piece of bread wrapped in tin foil despite my very clear communication that I cannot consume bread due to an allergy, which was honestly quite funny at that point. The food itself was "safe" I didn't have any flare ups, despite the employees lack of confidence in their kitchen staff. Again, I would not reccomend the potential risk of dining here and the disrespectful remarks were uncalled for. Very sad to experience. Please do better.

I like this place a lot. The people there are friendly and actually very creative with their slices. Upside down Sicilian is really good. I didn't take a picture of that but should have! I've never eaten in the restaurant side. It does look very nice as well though so rest assured you would be comfortable.

Good clean pizza. Crust is nicely made never burned. Pasta was nicely sauced and flavorful. Friendly local fixture for consistent food. Prices are reasonable enough for locals to be regulars.

The steaks were good cant speak for the seafood. Wait staff was disorganized. Wish there were more vegetarian options. Some of the prices are a bit steep.

We were in the area to visit wineries and stay o er night. Many places closed early b/c of Covid but we found this little spot, perfect for the casual ending to a wine filled day. Shrimp taco basic but really good, comes with fries. Seafood platter is yumm if you like your seafood fried :) The clam chowder is awesome, warning, it has BACON! The key lime cake was awesome!

Excellent! We had the prime rib special. Marinade was delicious. My wife had it without Marinade and it was also delicious. Cooked perfectly. The sides were great also. Large Portions and good service. It's a north fork staple. You won't be disappointed!

I have been to the Elbow room many times. My most recent visit I ordered the Porter house, marinated. The steak was cooked to perfection. It's quite possibly the best steak I've ever had. My hats off to the owner, the chef and the staff. Would recommend the place to anyone

We just ate here. Terrible service from the start, unfriendly, didn’t offer a booster seat for my child, we had to ask. No drink menus, no offer to tell us any options. Flounder was good. The scallops I ordered were the size of a nickel and rubber(26 bucks, for real?). They hardly checked on us or pre-bussed the small table before our entrees. Don’t waste your time or money in this establishment. Overpriced frozen food and terrible service.

Despite the unassuming appearance of the Rueben, it was probably one of the better ones I’ve had in recent years. It did not come with thousand island, so I requested extra on the side. It was flavorful, and the corn beef was tender. Even without the thousand island, it wasn’t a dry sandwich to begin with. I was pleasantly surprised. We also ordered the Southold Burger which was insane. It was massive and messy, but it was a very good burger. A side of fries will run you up $5, but they’re solid. They needed extra salt but were hot and fresh. Everything on the menu sounded fantastic, and I don’t think you can go wrong here. Definitely would stop by again.

This is a charming place in Southold with a varied menu with some great breakfast & luncheon choices. Their ice creams are good too and their vanilla milkshake was outstanding.

Been here many times this summer and was always super satisfied! Came here today again for lunch and I felt very uncomfortable. I was being watched the whole time while I was eating alone. I got asked 4 times if I wanna order more within like 20 min while I was still eating and the waitress at the register was rude. Makes me sad because it’s all in all a really nice place but I am insecure to come back :/

Ambiance (4/5): The restaurant is located *behind* North Fork Roasting Co. which had live music performing on a Saturday. Due to our party size and our dog, we sat outside near the back parking, which had abandoned-looking seating (broken, dirty, etc.). However, it was shaded and you could hear the music next door. There's also 3 two-person tables near the entrance outside around the corner. The inside is retro and feels like you're dining inside a cozy house and an ice cream bar (Hershey's brand). It felt bustling as a standard diner on a weekend. Service (5/5): When we were walking toward the exterior back, the people outside near side entrance, had warned us that the service was abysmal. We loitered near the corner to let the waitress know we were wanting to get seated in the back (basically away from sight). Once seated, she came back and wiped down the dirty tables (which I'm sure no one usually opts to sit at due to their state). We immediately placed our orders before she went away. I think by doing so, our food came out lightning fast. She also came to check in on us twice throughout our dining. Sausage & Cheddar Flatbread Scramble (3/5): Expect an omelet on a piece of flatbread. The bread did not taste very good (perhaps store bought?) The home fries were deliciously crunchy. Breakfast Burrito (3/5): Nothing really stood out about the burrito. Croissant French toast (3/5): I liked how it wasn't too sweet with the filled cream but it felt like it was missing something. The addition of the table maple syrup definitely helped. I think next time, I would opt for the regular French toast.

The Country Corner Cafe was absolutely amazing! The service was fantastic and the staff were extremely sweet. My friend got a burger and I had one of their grain bowls. Our meals were delicious! I can’t wait to go back and would definitely recommend them if you haven’t been there before.

This is a great breakfast spot in an area that I feel is missing it. They’re very diverse in breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, and also have a dairy dip for dessert. The corn beef hash is their highly touted dish, and while it was good, I don’t think it was spectacular. The pancakes were actually surprisingly great with low expectations. Coffee is typical diner coffee, but next door is a great coffee shop to visit if you’d like. Would come again, worth the visit.

Lovely atmosphere. Service was fast and the waitress was kind. Well priced items. The “All-American Panini” was delicious. So was the Roast Beef Melt along with Mac N Cheese. Definitely a great spot to eat.

Sophies is quite a unique place. The food was the saving grace, and if the chef ever left I’d probably never go back. Various issues like waiting 15min sitting at our table to get drinks ordered, water sitting empty for half the meal, and general disinterest in providing good service from our waitress, all lead to a mediocre experience. The burger and Lobster Bisque however, were top tier compared to others I’ve had, and are the only reason this is 3 star instead of 2 star. I’d say definitely try this place, but get it to go if you want a better experience.

When you get off the Orient Point Ferry, Sophie's Restaurant is the ideal spot for lunch or dinner. It's an old converted house with a dining room and a nice bar. It is worth stopping, go slow because you might just drive by it without realizing it. The food is excellent. We had the chicken sandwich and the clam strips. The staff is sweet and nice. Parking not an issue.

I had the flounder sandwich and it was so good!! 😋. Fish was light and flaky and breading was perfect. Waffle fries were very crispy and well seasoned. Reasonably priced, great service, I left full and happy. 😊.

Ms. Monica truly made the experience feel special, along with the bartender, Michelle. The food was incredible. I had the cajun shrimp special and it was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We met some cool people while we were there, which made it even better. Great drinks, good energy, and I’ll definitely be back!

Pasquale and Isabella run a first rate operation at Wayside Market! If you need a hearty breakfast, a picnic lunch or top quality butcher items, this is the place for you. We’ve tried all of the above and have never been disappointed. The steaks, ribs, pork chops, etc. are all great and are so much better quality than what you’ll find in the supermarkets. So glad we have this place in Southold!

Wayside has all the best attributes of an old-school butcher - great cuts of meat, encyclopedic knowledge of how to cook them and impeccable service - plus the local farm connections and amazing prepared foods you would find in a high-end market. The deli is a great stop for delicious sandwiches at reasonable prices; the butcher is a place to find extraordinary locally sourced meat or - more economically - a unique burger blend. Must-stop for grilling on the north fork.

Ordered chicken parmigiana sub. Quite expensive.. over $25. A bit much for a sub if you ask me. Nothing too extraordinary. Plenty of homemade breaded chicken . .. roll made the grade. Sauce was only so so and lacking in proportion. Have become used to equivalent at half the price! Final grade: C+

This is not the wayside of old Terrible business they’re running ordered a BLT apparently they have a BLT in a box but we got was leftover bacon three or four strips over a few ounces of shredded lettuce in a box. No tomato. This was misleading is an understatement. Originally promised a refund on the credit card, then changed to a store credit we are no longer in the area and they refused to provide a credit back to the credit card (a whopping $12) I can’t imagine this place staying in business very long Terrible Customerservice misleading menu would avoid the place Mark Osmer white Blossom house

The sandwiches are good, but the people who work there are so rude! Called ahead to order a sandwich and a salad, guy on the phone said he would make the salad when we got there, then made a whole song and dance about how they are closing (in 15 minutes) and we're so rude about it, we ended up not getting the salad. So rude, not worth the way you are treates for going there.

Horrible experience on Mother’s Day. Ordered a sandwich and salad over the phone. The deli person told me that he would make the salad when I arrived so it didn’t go bad. They close at 3 and I arrived there to pick up at 2:45pm. The sandwich was ready and when I told the owner that the deli person would make the salad when I arrived the deli person called me a liar and denied ever saying he’d make the salad.So, no salad and now my wife was without food, on Mother’s Day. She cried all the way home. I’ll never go back to this horrible place.

Hides expired product with price tags. Purchased a yogurt, and it was rotten. When I removed the price tag, it hid a date of expiration that was long since past. Everything here is way overpriced, and the customer service is poor. Don’t shop here, they are argumentative with locals and run the price up on weekends to rip people off coming from the city. I generally don’t understand how this place is still in business.

This might be the worst deli sandwich I’ve ever gotten. It was supposed to be one of their specials on their menu with roast beef. They have boars head signs everywhere. The meat that was on the sandwich definitely wasn’t boars head. I’m not sure if it was even roast beef. Also, there was one small slice of meat definitely the smallest sandwich I’ve ever gotten from a deli.

Even if the food hadn't been good , I would still have given a 5 stars review! But the food was delicious 😋 too! Highly recommend it 👌

I think this place would rock if it played up the Grateful Dead theme. The inside is rather plain. Outside of the name and that they sell Long Island themed Dead shirts, there isn't anything else playing up the Dead angle, which I think is a mistake.

Absolute Gem!!! The owners are amazing people. The food is always delicious and fresh! Check out their premade foods and desserts too, easy to miss. Sandwich’s are always made perfect and loaded up. Their chicken cutlet melts are the best on the north fork! Give them a try and you won’t be disappointed!

This place SUCKS!! This place only gets 2 stars because the food tasted quite nice, but it's a mess in there. I walked in at around 1pm and there were so many people crammed in that small building, and there was no exact spot for where the line was. Another day when I walked in during the morning on my way back home to the Southampton it was one of the only places opened so I stopped there for a quick breakfast sandwich a young young looking girl was working there and she seemed very tired, but after all it was 7am (CRAZY) she took my order after she asked me to repeat it a few times but it's okay because she was very nice about it and was obviously tired she made sure she got my order 100% correct which I appreciated. When I sat down to wait for my meal I couldn't help but notice the trail of ants all over the table and about a minute later the owner of the deli pulled that young girl to the back by her arm and as I was looking for a drink I couldn't help but overhear the woman yelling at the poor girl saying she did something wrong with an order, and not only did this happen once, it happened 3 TIMES in the short time I was in there. Each time after the talking to I noticed that young girl who couldn't be over the age of 13-14 looked noticeably upset and stressed after each of those times she got literally PULLED to the back. Not to mention these prices were CRAZY not that I mind paying a little extra to smaller businesses, but I will say there is a problem when you charge customers well over double the price that is on their website and menu inside. PLEASE save your time and go somewhere else, I'm sure you can find better quality food for cheaper somewhere else. P.S. I hope that poor young girl is okay and got out of that TOXIC environment and can get a better job.

The Mexican food is pretty off the chain!!! it’s some amazing food. The rotisserie part of the restaurant seems to need more love/flavor/care/passion.

We arrived to find they were a Mexican food restaurant and menu. They had no rotisserie items or smokd items.

This place is ran by my 4 uncles! Best food for a rotisserie, since they are of Mexican descent, on holidays and sometimes on rare occasions my aunts will cook AUTHENTIC Mexican food next to the regular menu and also serve it to customers! If you're in Southold, Long Island be sure to give the Rotisserie Smokehouse a try!

I have been eating at the Rotisserie for nearly ten years. BEST burritos. The comfort food is also delicious. A family favorite. Great staff. I eat here at least twice a week.

Kept reading reviews about how great this place is. Have now been twice. 1. No gravy with rotisserie chicken and truthfully bith times 2. For the price the chicken isnt that much better than the IGA. Sadly. Staff very friendly and attentive .

I visited this place once, and the food was great. My second visit was not pleasant. I sat waiting for my order to be taken, and no one cared. I had to clean my own table and walk up to the girl at the register to take my order. While I waited, I had to fight the flies that were everywhere, and this was with no food on the table. As I got my food, I still had to fight with the flies, which was not something you want to do while eating at a restaurant. Unfortunately, my experience was not pleasant, and I will not return to this restaurant ever again. There are definitely many areas of opportunity for management at this place.

A quick cheap place to get food in Southold . It was very busy when I went at lunch time. The parking lot was also crowded. Mostly Latinos grabbing food. The food was not remarkable.

Love the ground beef burritos! Consistently good. My husband usually has a quesidilla, also consistently good. Cafeteria style service, order & pay at front counter, food will be brought out on a tray. Reasonable prices too. Lots of different food selections.

Ordered the “mixed pupusas” via a pickup order and received only 1 even though the item is advertised as plural. On DoorDash and the restaurant’s menu via google, the photo shows 3 pupusas. Also didn’t receive any sauce or cabbage.

I've been to this restaurant a total of 3 times. Out of the 3 visits, today was the worst. There were flies everywhere, why are there sooo many flies?? which I decided to ignore due to the fact that the last 2 times everything was great (food, environment, and service). We came into the restaurant and sat there looking at the menu no one appoarched us. I decided to go order at the counter. I sat down and waited for our food. My husband got served first his pupusas which were amazing. I sat there 25 mins went by then the girl at the counter said "is there something wrong?" I told her yes I'm missing my plate. She said she took one order, tamales and 2 drinks. I was upset and told her forget it 25 mins and were just staring at 1 plate for 2 people is crazy. She didn't even have the nerve to bring an extra plate incase we were sharing. It was a busy saturday so I waited politely giving them time to finish an order she never took. For a spanish restaurant in the northfork area this place should do better I will not be returning nor recommending.

Enchiladas De Pollo had a single flat tortilla with some filling slapped on top. Smallest cup of salsa 1/2 filled. Fried plantains same problem, the crema was just enough to coat the tiny cup.

My partner and I had an incredible lunch at Latin Fusion on Friday. It’s been two days, and we’re still talking about it! From the moment we stepped inside, it was evident that the owner wanted us to have a nice experience. We were initially torn between dining outdoors and indoors, but the owner graciously offered a flexible option: if we decided we didn’t want to enjoy the outdoors, they could effortlessly relocate us back indoors. Our lunch arrived fresh and made to order. I asked if they would not include green peppers in my dish, and the owner assured me that they could customize the dish to my preferences. The food was prepared to perfection, bursting with fresh flavors and generously portioned. Overall, Latin Fusion is an excellent choice for a meal that will not disappoint. Latin Fuzion most definitely exceeded my expectations.

We have been ordering and eating in this spot for a while now. It never disappoints! Great flavorful dishes! I highly recommend the chicken Enchiladas. The chicken tortilla soup is another hit. They added beer to the menu which is amazing. Consistency is the name of their strategy. People are always friendly and they maintain the place is clean.

Food is always fantastic (easily 5⭐️), but the chip policy is frustrating. Whether you order 1 meal or 10, you only get one bag. Extra bags are $5 each, which feels unreasonable for larger orders.

What a nice small spot!! Clean place. Very friendly people and excellent service. Food was the best we EVER had!! We ordered steak soft tacos, steak hard tacos, steak enchallata with rice and salad which was so tasteful we were eating it so slow to enjoy every tasteful bite!! And steak quesadilla. This restaurant is a must! The food is delicious! I ordered the coconut shrimp as a platter with veggies and rice. The shrimp tastes so fresh and homemade, plus the mango salsa is the perfect touch! ❤️‍🔥👌

Always consistent, excellent pizza with spectacular service. Their specials are reasonably priced and change daily. Best buffalo chicken slices in New York. I've enjoyed paganos for the past 20 years. You can't do better than this local gem.

The service was friendly and the establishment was clean. Unfortunately, the quality of the ingredients seemed really cheap, especially the cheese, and it was no less expensive than other pizza places that have fresher, tastier options. This is also not a review from someone who has been there once. This was an experimental trial after giving up on this place a year ago and I've known the name of this pizzeria for over twenty years having eaten there as a kid.

Great Pizza...borderline the best I have ever had. ONLY reason I did not give a 5 star rating on this order was because I ordered a BBQ Chicken pizza that says it has "Chicken and BBQ Sauce;" however, it also had onion on it, and that is literally the one thing I despise the most in life. I noticed the SLICELIFE website I ordered from does not say onions, however, the other ordering sites appear to be correct. The main website, and DOORDASH appear to be correct. I hope they update the online ordering to reflect there is onion on this pizza so I can order it without next time. Kinda ruined the experience for this pizza...will not stop me from ordering again - albeit, I will be a bit more careful.

Good pizza but outrageously priced if you add toppings. Today I purchased two pies. One large cheese pizza and one large pizza, half vegetable and half sausage. With tax it came to over $46. Then to add insult to injury they charged a fee for using a credit card. Grand total - over $48 for two pizzas. Disgraceful.

The person behind the counter was rude and aggressive. I asked if they had pepperoni and he told me they did and proceeded to throw a bunch of cold pepperoni on top of an already cooked cheese slice. Yummy??? Needless to say the pizza was mediocre and surprisingly expensive... my kids weren’t even interested in eating it. Not a winning combination.

Ordered a pizza and wings. Was told it would be 30 to 40 minutes. Left and came back 40 min Later. The wings were still not ready and the pizza was sitting on top of the oven. I commented on that fact and was told in a not very nice way "oh dont worry it'll (the pizza) will be fine." Eventually the wings were done and we got a pizza that had been sitting out for too long. Yuk

Standard Chinese takeout. I was hoping for really good egg rolls (I grew up in NY and miss good egg rolls), but they were just so-so. I had the roast pork with broccoli and the roast pork appetizer and it was great. My friends had their local favorites: lemon chicken and wonton soup.

I first opened the sesame chicken and was scared… but when I bit into it my mouth was dancing! the rice was a bit bland… but I also got broccoli with brown sauce it could’ve been better… but the chicken looked like actual chicken which was nice !

I went out of my way and paid more to go to this restaurant for Chinese food because it had such good reviews, but I had a very poor experience. The good: our order was accurate and the rice and egg roll were cooked well. The bad: the pieces of chicken were bigger than I’ve ever received with Chinese food, which in and of itself wouldn’t have been bad, but only half of them were cooked well. I had to tear off several pieces that were as hard as wood and inedible.

Good place and good food! Reasonably priced for nowadays. They DO seem to be understaffed and saw another couple just bail out after waiting a little bit. Went on a Saturday but it seemed like only one server was working. Overall good but they should just get more servers.

We went for lunch with my wife. Our waitress Joanna was always attentive making sure everything came out ok. I had an excellent Avocado Salad with Chicken, and my wife had the Pollo Asado. The Margarita flight was amazing! Everything was full of flavor. We highly recommend this place

Guys it’s time to let go this ship sink, it’s been a mess since it opened. Let another place give it a try. Service has always been horrible since they opened. Food ok at best nothing great. It’s frustrating when you guys don’t care anymore and a customer just wants to have a good experience and can’t.

Bad service from the cashier if you are a worker and are passing through, it is the worst place to go. 7 tacos for $52 is a rip-off, they do not satisfy your hunger, they have no flavor, I do not recommend coming here.

Ordered the steak fajita burrito. It was almost all rice, very little meat. And I mean a few very small cubed pieces in a really big burrito. I've been here a couple of times and it has been subpar every time.

I went there for the first time and the lady who took my order was extremely rude and was saying things in her language. The older woman who was working there, stopped to look at her with a surprised expression and the man who was working in the back looked at me as well. Then as they were making the food they kept looking back at me and the the man took the food out of my sight and then came back with it. At that point I walked out. To their surprise I came back for the food, they seemed surprised too and laughed. I took the food and threw it out.

Best Chinese around. Would 100% eat here over new china every day. My only pet peeve is they’re not open late enough for me, since I’m a night owl, but the food is of high quality. Plus, the lady at the counter (Jenny) is so nice. My family has been going to them every since I was born.

The hardest working and friendliest people on the entire North Fork. Their food is phenomenal; so delicious and despite always being super busy they are always prompt, and the price is right too. Couldn't believe when I was charged tax for Half and Half. Questioned the Cashier, who told me they charge tax on milk there??! I didn't have the time or energy to argue over change with a worker unaware of basic New York tax exemptions. I don't want to post the receipt for my private reasons but its clear on the register screen I was charged tax for the purchased Half and half. The most disturbing was how intense the worker was, after 42 years Living with New York tax laws, a 16 year old had me checking my phone to see if half and half was a beverage or prepared food. And you know what i found. I WAS RIGHT IN THE FIRST PLACE. THE IS NO TAX ON MILK, NO MATTER HOW MUCH FAT IS IN IT... Your attempt to ask me to contact you didn't stop me from reporting the tax fraud to NYS. Your store is in a location where it provides the only option at times and your over charging under the guise of sales tax. As a local I believe this franchise to have been owned by the same family for so long, as well as the family owning multiple, how am I to believe they don't know Dairy is non taxable? I will.call the IRS after the Holiday without a direct answer for the all to see how long you have charged illegal tax.

I think they started microwaving their donuts in the morning and now they are just not the same. The donuts are also about 2.50 and so it’s five dollars for two donuts which just seems very overpriced for a baked good even though they are pretty amazing compared to Dunkin’ Donuts and Tim Hortons

Zero stars. The coffee was old and tasted gross, and the coffee station was very messy. I'm not going back there. Btw, their music was way too loud and too ethnic, most likely why they were not busy on a Saturday and so the coffee was bad. One customer had "God Bless the USA" playing loudly on their phone. Maybe the workers will get the hint to turn their music off and, perhaps, in turn, get/keep more customers.

Noticing this with other 7/11’s around but check your receipts. Went in here and noticed a 2 for $4 deal wasn’t applied on the checkout. Asked cashier about it and she said I was wrong the deal was applied. Items rang up for $2.89 each. Update: I try not to go here anymore but was in a rush and stopped in again. Decided to try it again and again they didn’t ring up another 2 for $3 deal. Cashier again argued with me saying it’s “extra tax” when the screen clearly shows it adding up over $5 before tax. Owner or manger got involved but by that time I needed to go and just paid to get out and didn’t want to create a line which I’m sure is their plan. Avoid this place. They don’t honor the posted deals.

This place is a gem. The owner is above and beyond so sweet - as are all of the girls working there. It’s clear everyone is genuinely happy to be there :) best egg sandwich I had in a while - eggs are actually cooked with care and not just slopped down flat and folded over with cooking spray like you get at other places. Eggs here are fluffy and delicious. The coffee is perfect and I love that you can make it yourself while you’re waiting. 10/10 all around fantastic :)

I love this sweet, family owned gem! Consistently amazing & freshly made bagels and rolls, I always get a toasted buttered poppy seed roll with egg & cheese and my day is made :) there's plenty of seating inside plus outdoor seating as well, and sometimes I just call ahead and pick up my food to go & its quick and easy.

East End Bagel Cafe was our last stop in our search for the best bagel on North Fork LI. I would call this the working man's bagel place since there are a lot of service outsole doing in for their breakfast. They also look to have a full deli which would be great for lunch. Bagels were solid although not the quintessential NYC bagel as a bit bready.bread. service was a little slow too but it looked like their was one person taking the orders and helping the grill person. So not a lot of help in the kitchen. Solid though and a good place to get bagels and bagel sandwiches.

This place is just not good. Awkward staff, unfriendly, unpleasant, bagels aren’t great, eggs are overcooked with too much cooking spray which makes them taste gross, and the woman who cooked my eggs handled cash then touched my eggs and didn’t change her gloves. I asked for coffee and she made me wait until my order was done rather than just pouring the damn coffee. Also takes forever to have your order taken. Given this place too many chances and won’t be back. The place across the street is better in every way, friendly staff, and way better quality food and experience.

I ordered bagels and muffins to be catered for an event. The communication with the staff and owner was pleasant and courteous. The food was fresh and delicious. The presentation was exactly what I wanted. Thank you!!!

awesome spot with really great counter service, they're on top of making sure your order is made how you would like and the whole staff is knowledgeable with the menu and checking orders out, or it seems. both sandwiches were on bagels and they were basically as perfect as you could expect a new york bagel to be. super soft and fluffy on the inside with a nice seasoned crust on the outside (both were everything bagels). basically a perfect pit stop if you're en route to or from the ferry. also i love how long islands standard for BEC's is a runny fried egg.

I come in and eat lunch at east end bagel twice a week.... I paid with a 100% bill and the change they gave me included a fake 20. I didnt realize until I went to pay at another store and almost was arrested.

I of course started with Pindar wine 🍷 followed by a salad with beef gyro! I held on the rice as I was trying to eat light…😉 LOL! My hubs had the same lunch special but with the rice! Everything tasted so fresh and delicious! As I’m an avid feta cheese fan I did add that as an extra to my salad! It did not disappoint! If you are in the area I definitely recommend as a 5 star Mediterranean Food restaurant on the North Fork!! 💪🏻🔥

Holy grill. This place is a breath of fresh air. I love the food!!! The service is amazing! The owner is very kind, and makes you feel like he invited you to his own home for food. We were a party of two. We had the hummus, İskender kebap (tomato sauce on top was out of this world), fried cheese rolls, homemade lemonade, Turkish coffee. It was so soooo good. The meat is also halal if you want cruelty free meat. The portions were enough for the two of us. Family style is the way to go for dinner, you get to try so many things! The food here is good as in Brooklyn or dare I say better??? I will be a returning customer for sure!! My favorite place now!

This was one of my go to places to eat out here since they opened. Recently I have noticed a change in the portions they provide. In the past I would order Chicken Shish Kebab and get a good portion of rice with a good portion of savory well marinated chicken. Now when I order the same dish I got twice a large tray of rice with small pieces of chicken in it. Still extremely tasty chicken but due to the decrease in size I can't recommend the dish at the price of 27 dollars. Service and quality of the food is still amazing, it's just I can't validate the price for what you get... Unfortunately I will be ordering from Hampton Gyro in Riverhead and picking it up on the way home in the future

Very impressed with the food and service at this restaurant. We had option for Hellenic in Greenport and we opted for Southold Mediterranean in Southhold. The food did not disappoint. We had beef&lamb doner, falafel, and spicy beef&lamb kebab. Everything was seasoned and prepared to perfection. I’ve never had such tasty falafel and I’ve had a lot of falafels! The rice is prepared with real butter, you can taste the difference! The owner, Ossy, is so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend.

I ordered food from this restaurant for a party of 25 people, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. Before placing the order, I was assured that the portions would be generous, but what we received was far smaller than expected—nowhere near enough. On top of that, the quality of the food was underwhelming, which was especially disappointing. I had hoped for a much better standard based on earlier conversations. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I felt this experience needed to be shared to help others make an informed decision.

Delicious food, excellent service. I have been twice for dinner. I came back today for lunch. The taste and quality is very good. I got a Chicken Shish Kebab wrap and it came with a spicy sauce like sambal and white sauce. The wrap was great too… they food has that nice charred taste from the grill. They are always the most generous people. That goes a long way. I added a photo of me almost done with my wrap, it is a good amount of food.

The food was absolutely delicious! We visited off season and had a wonderful experience with the staff. The homemade lemonades were unique and tasty along with the food being authenticity made.
