Nature & Parks
Geneva State Park is a vast state park located along the picturesque shores of Lake Erie. It offers a wide range of activities for visitors, including hiking, fishing, picnicking, swimming, and boating. The park features a large beach area where visitors can soak up the sun and swim in the lake. Additionally, there are options for renting paddle boats, kayaks, and canoes to explore the beautiful lake. The park also includes a campground with semi-private sites and a camp store.
I stayed at the very nice campground here the first week of May. I enjoyed myself the few times it stopped raining. I especially enjoyed the paved trail through the woods that goes to the beach and marina.
Lonnie H — Google review
The walking/bike riding trail is terrific and runs all the way from the lodge in Geneva on the Lake, past the marina, the beach and park to the campsites. It is shaded and tours through the natural environment surrounding the lake. We've seen turtles and fish along the little streams and alcoves of the lake that it crosses over. There are also beach access paths off of parts of the trail. The beach is a mix of sand and smooth stones. You can find beach glass here often. The sand and rocks are very hot though so wear beach shoes or flip flops that hold up over the stones and I recommend wearing them into the water because the stones can be difficult to navigate over in bare feet. Take a raft to float in the waves. It's not very deep though and we're able to stand with it at our waist and talk or throw a football easily. There are public restrooms at the beach park. Parking is limited at the beach and is a challenge in the afternoon although you could park at the marina and walk from there if you didn't have much to carry. There was a lemonade stand set up to purchase from and picnic areas also.
Richelle G — Google review
This is such a great state park. Clearwater Beach is fantastic if you are hunting for sea glass or pretty rocks. It wasn't overly crowded and I was there around 5:30p early October. The blue sky and water complimented the changing leaves beautifully and looked like a never ending painting. Spectacular!
Adrean J — Google review
Lovely beach with easy access, picnic tables, restrooms, and changing area. Park was clean, and restrooms were clean. Had a to go lunch here and walked on the beach.

Great place to visit, especially in the off season if you are not into large crowds.

Nice park right on the lake, big parking lot, bathroom, picnic tables and beach access. Biking and walking trails. Free to visit.

What a beautiful park, very clean, there are restrooms and a foot wash station. We only visited the beach and it was nice and clean.

Best Coast Water Sports at Geneva-on-the-Lake offers a wide range of water sports activities, including jet ski and kayak rentals. Visitors have praised the stable and fun jet skis, as well as the calm kayaking experience through a creek or out on the lake. The staff is known for being friendly and knowledgeable, providing a great overall experience. Despite its humble setup, customers have found the service to be reliable with clean and fast equipment.
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time out on the lake! The owners did a great job informing us through the process. This was our first experience jet skiing and we're already thinking about our next ride. Book with this business!!
Mollie N — Google review
We went jet skiing this past week, and it was the highlight of our entire vacation at Geneva-on-the-Lake. Hands down, it was the most fun and memorable family experience we had all week…and the fastest hour that flew by in the best way possible! It was liberating, exciting, and filled with non-stop smiles and laughter. The kids haven’t stopped talking about it since, and now all they want is for Mom and Dad to buy a jet ski! Your staff made the experience even better. Everyone was friendly, professional, and clearly loved what they do and it really showed. A special shoutout to the young lady who checked us in. She had a great personality and was incredibly patient and helpful during the orientation. When we returned, the whole team welcomed us back with big smiles. I couldn’t recommend a better family activity. If you’re at Geneva-on-the-Lake, go jet skiing at Bula Coast Water with your family or friends… you won’t regret it. We’re already looking forward to doing it again next year!
Chris K — Google review
Great staff, very helpful and very nice. It was first time on a jet ski and rather nerve wrecking for me. However, my husband was driving and enjoyed it so much. Thanks again for a job well done!!
Lauren L — Google review
This is an amazing experience. This was my girlfriend’s and my first time ever renting a jet ski and everything went smooth, between the information process to the in-depth understanding of how a jet ski operates, it was an great experience. Looking forward to booking it again.

Wonderful Marina, excellent and amazing staff (can only remember Cam and Candice name) and their nice gentleman. Highly recommend this place. Fun experience riding the jet ski but wave could be a little tough.

Geneva Marina

Marina
Geneva Marina offers a picturesque setting on the tranquil waters of Lake Erie, where visitors can watch boats launch and sail away. The bustling spot in the village provides various activities such as jet ski rentals, sailing tours, fishing trips, and leisurely strolls to enjoy the scenic view. The marina is well-protected from waves with plenty of transient dockage and facilities including clean restrooms and a nearby restaurant.
Great marina for transient dockage. Depth is 9+ feet as of May 2025. Marina is well managed and the staff is excellent. Nice walking and biking paths all over the place. We ended up staying longer than planned due to bad sailing conditions and we found it a great place to be “stuck” for a few days.
S C — Google review
Very nice looking and convenient Marina. Sometimes We drive there just to relax and enjoy the view.
HORROR F — Google review
We rented jet ski's from here. The best price we found. Make sure you go to the Marina one, there is one sitting before them that are a little more expensive. Had such a great time went the next morning also. Very friendly and helpful staff!!
Jennifer D — Google review
If you have a kayak. This is not the place to go. People were not friendly or like someone told me this is a boat ramp. We'll my boat is just smaller for my living situation. Plus you can only use the trailer only parking if you use water. I dont have a trailer so you have to park extra far and have a cart to transport it to water. Just very inconvenient ramp if you dont own a trailer or boat. Kayakers like to be on the water too. I have lots of fishing gear and its easier to load in my truck bed in amd out of water without a cart.
Joe S — Google review
Great place to embark for great walleye fishing, and a good fish cleaning station to handle the fruits of your labor.
Jeff S — Google review
Multiple boats can be using the ramps (6 if memory serves me correctly) with modern restrooms and a fish cleaning station. Parking lot is okay. Good protected access to Lake Erie though.
James S — Google review
A very beautiful marina in Geneva state park. There's even a small snack bar
Allan S — Google review
Rude staff. No organization and not helpful or fair with boat parking for a 21 ft boat. Tried to charge me $15 for 1 hour of parking while I just wanted to have lunch and be a paying customer. Their rules felt just made up by the person talking to us. Unimpressed and sad they can't be more accommodating to passing through visitors. Not worth the visit at all. We went to Sunset Bar 30 min west and had free boat parking and a great lunch! My preferred choice now.

My husband and I came here to try something new and we had an amazing time. The people were so friendly. So knowledgeable. They really made us feel so much better about our first time zip lining. We will definitely be back and possibly bring our kiddos. Would highly recommend.
Lyndsey H — Google review
We did the half zip combo and had an amazing time. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. It was awesome zipping over the water, having kayakers below. My daughter loved the tandem zips where she could go at the same time as my wife. The adventure course was super cool. I liked that there were different levels of challenge. Would highly recommend for a great outing for anyone visiting the area.
Donald C — Google review
Experienced renting a golf cart and the kids (ages 4-10) adventure course. The golf cart was a great addition to our trip. Staying in the cottages at the lodge, it was such a convenient location being on site and makes so much sense. We had the 6 seater; perfect for 4 adults and 2 children. The battery lasted well and we could charge at our cottage. Got the 1 day rental and it was perfect. The kids in our group, ages 5 and 8 loved the adventure course. They had a blast and the hour time slot was a great block for the activity. It was a way for them to experience the ‘real thing’ by getting strapped in, having obstacle like courses, zip lining, etc. Pricing was fair when comparing to other kid activities in the area; glad we chose this!
N C — Google review
Awesome experience - my 2nd time going ziplining and first time going here with my sisters. We loved that there were guides with us to make sure we were safe and by the end of our 4 zipline runs (we did the half zip), we had picked up tips and tricks for how to enjoy the most from ziplining. Would definitely do it again and the views and scenery are spectacular as you are in the forest and by the lake.
Karen S — Google review
We had a great time ziplining and going through the treetop course. Our guides, Chris and Emma were excellent! We will surely be back.
Lauren M — Google review
Had a good time. Our instructors were knowledgeable and helped us feel safe and explained everything well. However we paid 90 dollars for an hour tour that took 30 mins. There were only two of us on the tour which probably accounted for how quick we moved through the course. Just seemed very quick for the money.
Amanda C — Google review
We had a wonderful experience with everyone we engaged with. They were all so pleasant and really went out of their way to ensure my son and I had a great time. We are already planning a return visit!

Nestled on the southern shore of Lake Erie in northeastern Ohio, The Lakehouse Inn is a charming boutique resort offering a variety of accommodations. Guests can choose from eight cozy rooms in the bed and breakfast or opt for one of the four cottages on the property. The inn also features a beach house rental for those seeking a waterfront experience. Visitors can indulge in delectable dishes at Crosswinds Grille, which prides itself on using fresh ingredients sourced from nearby farms.
We had a wonderful stay in the cabins-Nicely appointed accommodations with incredible grounds. The staff were very attentive and the breakfast choices were delicious and filling. Dinner at the Crosswinds was next level for Geneva! It is pricey, but this expected for a seasonal town and upgraded services.

My sister and I stayed in the Boathouse. It had a sitting area that looked directly onto the water, with beautiful flowers right outside the windows. We decided to just hang around the Boathouse and the outside areas all the second day because it was so perfect. The flowers all over the property are amazing! Many of the rooms seem to be geared towards couples, with the bed and a large tub in the area with the best view, but the Boathouse arrangement is great for anyone! Also, I have very high standards for cleanliness, and our room scored a 5/5!
Sherry S — Google review
I recently stayed at the Lakehouse Inn with a friend for a girls trip. We stayed in the Boat House and it was lovely! The room had a wonderful view of the lake and was very spacious. The Inn was charming; it had a great little beach, friendly staff, good breakfast delivered to your room; pretty landscaping; and an on site restaurant (Crosswinds) that was delicious. I will definitely be returning for another stay!
Jennifer D — Google review
What a little slice of heaven this beautiful property is well maintained down to the detail, very clean. Right on the water with a small beach we enjoyed, waking to the view on the numerous decks available what a treat. We opted for the room delivered breakfast each morning which was very nice fresh fruit and yogurt parfait, quiche yum! The restaurant on the property excellent 👍. Can't wait to go back!
Billie M — Google review
We stayed in the Boathouse. It was beautifully furnished and has a panoramic view of Lake Erie. You can hear the waves washing up on the beach with the windows closed, which is very soothing. The reason I only gave it three stars is because of the breakfast situation. This is very expensive accommodation that includes breakfast which is delivered to your room. However. To get breakfast you have to order it via text and you can't put in your order for the next morning until the Inn sends out the link sometime in midmorning. Then you have to pick your time slot. Available times start at 8:30 and then every half hour. You are in competition with the other guests for the time slot you want. They only deliver to 3 or 4 rooms in each time slot and the earliest time is 8:30 a.m. We tried for 8:30 a few minutes after the link was posted then were bumped to 9:30. It is just weird. We were there for 2 nights and never did get a time for breakfast that we were going to be in our room.

Disappointed and Heartbroken by Management’s Treatment of Our Family We had visited this winery several times in the past and always appreciated its warm hospitality, beautiful views, quality wine, delicious food, and relaxing atmosphere. Unfortunately, after our most recent experience, my family and I will never return. We brought my aunt—who is recovering from a life-threatening brain aneurysm and had just returned home from the Cleveland Clinic—to celebrate her recovery with our family of eight. We also brought along her well-behaved miniature schnauzer, who is a trained support animal. A few of us ordered drinks inside, and the staff was kind, welcoming, and explained that we were welcome to enjoy our beverages on the patio. We brought my aunt a glass of ice water and settled her comfortably in a shaded lounge chair, with her support dog resting quietly underneath her. While some of our group played miniature golf and others dined at the Lakeside restaurant, spending several hundred dollars, the property manager, Jeff, approached my aunt—who was quietly resting with her support dog—and very rudely told her she had to leave because she was “not a guest of the property” and dogs were not allowed. Despite her explaining her medical condition, the support status of her dog, and that her family was dining on-site and supporting the business, Jeff remained dismissive and uncompassionate. My aunt was understandably shaken. She managed to make her way up the stairs to join us inside the restaurant—visibly upset and in tears—sharing what had just occurred. It was deeply upsetting to witness her joy and peace shattered so abruptly during what was meant to be a special family celebration. I personally went to speak with Jeff to ask for an exception, especially given the circumstances. He reiterated that no dogs were allowed unless we booked a room for $1,000—and then added that there were no rooms available anyway. Despite the fact that the patio was otherwise empty, he refused to consider any accommodation or show any empathy. His tone was cold, dismissive, and frankly, inhumane. We had already spent over $250 and had plans to spend more that evening for dinner, which we ultimately canceled. The lack of compassion and basic human decency we encountered was shocking, especially from someone in a leadership position. This experience served as a powerful reminder: it’s not the food, the view, or the amenities that define a place—it’s how people are treated. While the servers inside were lovely and professional, the property manager Jeff’s behavior overshadowed everything else. His actions turned what should have been a joyful, meaningful afternoon into a painful memory. I hope this review prompts others to consider the values of the businesses they choose to support. We will never return, and we will share this experience with others to ensure no family—especially one with a medically vulnerable member—is ever treated this way again. Receipts and proof of our purchases can be provided upon request. ⸻
Leigh M — Google review
We booked a traditional room that was described as having a private bath, which we assumed included a bathtub. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find it was just a shower — no tub. This was especially frustrating because we had planned to purchase the Champagne and Bubbles package, which required a bathtub and therefore couldn’t be accommodated. The front desk staff was also not very helpful or welcoming. Every question we asked was met with, “I have to check with my boss,” and we didn’t get clear answers or solutions. To make things more inconvenient, there’s no staff available after hours — just an emergency number posted at the front desk. That said, the property itself has some redeeming qualities. The views of the lake are beautiful, the private beach is a nice touch, and the yogurt parfait breakfast was a pleasant surprise. With better customer service and clearer room descriptions, this stay could have been much more enjoyable.
Christine M — Google review
Stayed in the captains quarters. Quiet and peaceful place to stay on the lakefront with plenty of deck, patio, and beach lounging space. Staff is attentive but you will hardly notice they are there as they do their best to allow for a retreat like feel. Would definitely recommend this as an option for quick or extended getaway.

Got a prenatal massage, I do not recall the name of my masseuse but he was very professional and I was very happy with his service! Entire spa is very clean and professional, I really enjoyed my time. My only complaint is that they advertise prenatal massages but do not have a table for this service, so the massage was done on my side, which was comfortable and still enjoyable, but I felt there should have been accommodations for this service if its something they advertise as an offering.

I recently received services at the Lakehouse Inn Spa with a friend for a girls trip. We had such a relaxing time! The spa is conveniently located across the street from the Inn. It was very cute and clean on the inside. My favorite part was the beautiful outside garden where we waited for services and were served lunch. The garden landscaping was very pretty; there were several sitting areas with couches, lounge chairs, tables and a fireplace. There was even a sauna and shower. It was very peaceful. I purchased the Indulgent Escape package and the salt stone massage did not disappoint! We felt very pampered at the Lakehouse Inn Spa and would love to return!
Jennifer D — Google review
Wonderful spa! My mom and I each had a 90 minute Himalayan salt stone massage and an anti-aging facial and we were very impressed! One of the best massages we have had.
Karaline G — Google review
We booked two massages at the same time and received a confirmation email reflecting that. The day before our appointment, we received another email with one of the massage times changed. We tried calling multiple times and left messages, but never heard back. The lack of communication was incredibly frustrating, especially so close to our scheduled service. To be safe, we arrived at the spa an hour early to check on the reservation. Their system also showed the times incorrectly, but thankfully they were able to accommodate both massages at the original time. Thanks to Mike who corrected the error and made the massages at the same time. As for the massages themselves, the experience was uneven. One was excellent, but the other felt like the masseuse had little to no experience — it lacked flow, pressure, and any real technique. Overall, while we appreciated the effort to fix the scheduling issue in person, the poor communication and inconsistent service made it a disappointing experience.

We came for the “girls getaway” package and it was absolutely amazing! The staff was ready and set up champagne and food for us. The services were so relaxing. We all want to come back and do it again! It went beyond our expectations. Thank you!

Based on their website and reviews I made reservations for an overnight stay for our 49th wedding anniversary. The staff, accommodations, services, food, everything truly exceeded our expectations! The package consisted of a couple's 60 minute massage, which was excellent! Our suite was so very nice, overlooking the terrace with a beautiful view of the lake and all the personal added touches they provided just for us added to the ambience. If we could give you more than five stars we would! You definitely made our stay and anniversary so very special! We will definitely be back!

Madsen Donuts is a beloved establishment in Geneva-on-the-Lake, having served delectable donuts since 1938. The shop is renowned for its warm and welcoming atmosphere, making visitors feel like part of the family. Customers rave about the delightful selection of donuts, with favorites including jelly-filled and chocolate round varieties. In addition to their mouthwatering treats, Madsen Donuts also offers merchandise such as t-shirts and other souvenirs to commemorate your visit.
The wife and I did an Airbnb there a couple of years ago. We hit this donut shop, THE most amazing donuts I’ve ever had. I think I would make the 4 hour trip just to get them lol
Seth B — Google review
I just kind of randomly stopped in to grab a coffee and ended up buying a jelly filled something because it looked alright and the place smelled good. Dang! It is is so good! If I was from this area, I'd make this a place I'd come way too often I didn't take a before pic because it only looked alright, and I didn't really expect to be too impressed, but once I realized it was delicious my hubby had already taken some large bites (he agreed - it was good!)

When in Geneva, Madsen Donuts is a must stop. A donut shop that has been in business since 1938 is remarkable. We tried several different types of donuts and all were yummy.

Does not disappoint. Can’t go wrong the the classic glaze but I also enjoyed the sprinkle! 10/10

Best glazed and glazed cinnamon twist donuts around. The glazed ones melt in your mouth. Hubby loves the cinnamon sugar cake ones. You can't go wrong with a cream filled one either though. Usually a line, very tiny inside but they move quickly.
Sabrina K — Google review
The easiest thing to say is Madsen donuts are just the best. Fresh and simple. The raspberry filled stick and the creme stick are amazing. It's a little shop and you open the door, pick your donuts at the counter, pay and take them with you. People wait patiently outside the door until someone leaves and then you step inside. The delicious aroma from outside the shop is worth the wait if there are a few customers ahead of you.

Madsen Doughnuts is everything a Doughnut shop should be - warm, welcoming, and filled with the irresistible aroma of fresh handmade treats. Every Doughnut from their selection is delicious. Crosswinds Grille is a charming and laid-back restaurant that offers wood-fired, farm-to-table dishes and homemade wines. It's located just east of Geneva-on-the-Lake and provides outdoor seating for a delightful dining experience. The restaurant is known for its authentic Italian menu and operates from February through December. Along with other top restaurants in the area, Crosswinds Grille promises to deliver some of the best flavors around Geneva on the Lake.
A wonderful hidden gem! A good menu for both food and drinks. Excellent service. Food was great. Atmosphere was very nice with a great view of the lake. Wasn't too crowded even on Mother's Day. A good bar with a decent selection of drinks. Clean facilities. Overall it was an excellent experience and I highly recommend this place!

This hidden gem is located in the Lake House Inn. There was a really nice path that leads down to the beach and offered an incredible view of the sunset. I sat outside and for 6:30p in early October the temp dropped pretty quickly. They did have a fire pit that was really nice. Our service was a tad slow but if you relaxing with company and a good drink we didn't mind. We ordered half a loaf of bread for the table. I had a dark and stormy cocktail and to eat the seasonal special swordfish. It was all very delicious, I highly recommend stopping by and tasting a dish from this wonderful restaurant. It did cost about $60-$70 per person for entry and a cocktail.

We came here for our anniversary trip and were really looking forward to a special dinner. Overall, the meal was enjoyable! I ordered the chicken and potatoes, which were delicious, and we sat out on the patio with a lovely view. Service was friendly but could have been more attentive, especially given the price point—it seemed like our server was stretched a bit thin, even though the restaurant wasn’t overly busy. My husband ordered the steak medium, but it arrived very rare. We didn’t send it back, so that’s on us, but something to note. He still said the flavor was good. I started with the Caesar salad, which was just okay—not bad, but nothing special. We might have been better off ordering one of the specials, and I think our expectations were just quite high going in. That said, it’s a beautiful spot and definitely make time to walk down to the private beach afterward—it was a perfect way to end the evening!

I've been coming here for many years & I do enjoy the scenery. The food was a little off this day, steak over cooked & French Onion lacked flavor, but I still enjoyed myself. This place is perfect for a romantic date dinner. Sincerely, Cookbook Author Jaime M. Sina of Sexy Series, because healthy is so sexy! 💋 #SexySeries.shop #JaimeSina

Made reservation via google for an anniversary dinner. Was greeted right away and seated with a view of Lake Erie from our table. Server was attentive and reviewed specials with us. Appetizers (bread & stuffed pepper soup) and Main courses (salmon & NY strip) were prepared and brought out in a very acceptable timeframe. Food was delicious. Highly recommend for an upscale dinner when in Geneva On the Lake.

We had a wonderful dining experience! Hailey was our server and she was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and made us feel well taken care of from start to finish. Abi greeted us warmly, confirmed our reservation, and made sure we had the perfect patio seating, which made the evening even more enjoyable. Rebecca, the bartender, was incredibly thoughtful and crafted outstanding drinks that were a highlight of the night. The food was delicious, but the standout was definitely the seasonal baked Brie—it was hands-down the best thing we ate. We’ll be back for that alone! Excellent service, great atmosphere, and memorable food and drinks all around. Highly recommend!

First this is a nice place with nice indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoors is surrounded by really pretty gardens with a fire pit and views of lake Erie. Whoever takes care of the gardens...wow! The place was very busy but we had no issues. We sat at the bar which was nice. We had delicious mocktails but the cocktails also looked very good. The food beat expectations all the way around. The service was very good. If you want a really nice meal in GOTL, this is the place.

I had looked forward to dining at Crosswinds for a long time and a Birthday celebration seemed the appropriate time. Getting reservations for 7 people was a chore requiring multiple phone calls. On line reservations are not available for parties greater than 4. Upon entering, we were greeted warmly and led to our table. Our server took our drink order. I was disappointed to find they no longer have the peach wine. When we ordered, we asked the serverabout the temperature in the restaurant which was excessively warm! She said there was no air-conditioning- seriously. We were served warm and crusty bread with dipping sauce. Very good. Our meals were served piping hot! For me, the temperature of the food was too hot to eat when combined with the temperature of the restaurant. Allt felt the quality of the meals was excellent, but the temperature of the restaurant retracted. I was allowed to take in a celebratory cake in which our server kindly cut and served. Upon leaving, we found it was cooler outside (it was a 90⁰ day). I would like to try the restaurant again when the temperature is cooler INSIDE!

Bar & grill
Sportsterz Bar and Grill in Geneva-on-the-Lake, OH is a popular biker stop known for its dive-bar atmosphere, liquor offerings, and live entertainment. The outdoor seating area provides a perfect spot to enjoy the wide variety of bands and live music during the summer. With special parking reserved for motorcycles, it's a convenient stop for bikers exploring the area.
Best bar and grill at Geneva on the lake strip. I have tried them all. The food is affordable and you get good portions. The beer is cold and the mixed drinks actually have alcohol in them and are not 90% ice. They have a nice big stage and a great sound system for the bands outside. Lots of seating inside and outside. Great atmosphere and friendly employees. And it borders the motorcycle parking lot.

Met my son in Geneva on the Lake to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and to have an enjoyable meal on this lake front property. We all decided to meet at Sportstebz on the strip. A large eatery with an outdoor bar and stage for bands and social gatherings plus an indoor bar with additional seating for the public. We ordered their house special, which was recommended, the creamy shrimp and sea food fries. It wasn't bad. The cheese sauce complimented the fries fairly well. I ordered a simple mushroom burger, which was a disaster. It was basically cream of mushroom soup spilled over the top of a burger with two slices of bread between it. I ended up finishing the monstrosity with a fork and knife. I wasn't impressed. I think the next time we visit we'll try a new place to eat.

I recently visited the Wanna Be Biker Bar, and I have to say, my experience was a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, the atmosphere is lively and definitely has that classic biker vibe, which I appreciated. The decor is fun, with plenty of motorcycle memorabilia that adds character to the place. However, I found the prices to be quite steep for what you get. It felt more like a tourist trap than a genuine biker bar. The drinks were decent, but I expected more bang for my buck, especially considering the hype surrounding this spot. The food was average at best, and I was hoping for something a bit more authentic. If you're in the area and looking for a fun place to grab a drink with friends, it might be worth a stop. Just be prepared to pay a premium for the experience. For true biker culture, I’d recommend checking out some of the local spots that offer a more authentic vibe without the touristy feel. Overall, it’s a fun place to visit once.

Stopped in to watch Browns and have a snack. Ordered the walleye plate and hubby ordered walleye sandwich. Both were excellent but only included chips and coleslaw, no fries. Thought they were a little pricey. Young lady server was excellent. Very attentive, friendly and helpful.

Excellent place to eat! And so accommodating for those with furry friends! Really enjoyed the wrap and fries! Even a nice pup meal at an affordable price! Very attentive staff! A real treasure! Loved the patio atmosphere! Well designed and shady on a hot sunny day.

This was the best experience ever! The employees were so friendly and provided great service. The patio was beautiful and extremely clean. My husband & I both ordered lunch that was absolutely delicious. The dog menu was so cute (the reason we came) and my dog loved what he got. This was the best day ever. We love including our dog in activities and this restaurant was so dog friendly. We can’t wait to go back with him.

What a cute place, there’s a shop inside you can buy apparel and lots of dog toys, accessories and even wine. We didn’t eat but ordered hot dogs for the dogs, they of course loved them. We stopped in at Ruff Life on the Lake, located at 5514 Lake Rd E, Geneva-On-The-Lake, OH 44041, while on a visit to wine country along the Grand River Valley. This is a great place to bring the pup. It has ample indoor and outdoor seating, beer, wine, a full menu including a section of food for our four legged friends and a Kids menu. The staff was very friendly and it was a relaxed and dog-friendly atmosphere. Look no further if you are traveling to Geneva-On-The-Lake with you furry friend(s).

What a cute place! We had a great time! The Team was so welcoming! The service was prompt and friendly, the patio was beautiful and well maintained. The food was tasty, the wine flight was fun and came with a complimentary wine glass to take home! We particularly loved the attention paid to our boy, every time someone came around with a pitcher to refill our water glasses they refilled his bowl! He also got a cup of treats! We had to travel quite a distance to get here, but trust that we will be back again!

Sure! Here's a 3-star review based on your ratings: ★★★☆☆ – Mixed Experience at Horizons Restaurant and Lounge We visited Horizons Restaurant and Lounge in Geneva-on-the-Lake with high hopes. The atmosphere was definitely the highlight—relaxing, with beautiful views and a welcoming ambiance that made for a great setting. For the price, we expected better food. Overall, it’s a nice place to enjoy a drink and the view, but if you’re going for the food, you might leave disappointed.

Ee stopped in at Horizons Restaurant & Lounge to find something for breakfast. Two of the four of us decided to eat at the buffet style breakfast. We got there and had to wait quite a while to be seated. So two of us just had coffee only. (After finally being seated. And food I mention, the place was not crowded! ) The two that ate said the food was bland. The service was almost nonexistent. And at the end they tried to charge for four meals! We had to get that addressed before the bill got adjusted to reflect the correct amounts. Not the best place to go, but it was one of the only places open, unfortunately.

My review is based solely on the location and the views from the hotel. We stopped for lunch but it was closed. We sat in the back and recorded a few songs enjoying the magnificent views. We had the luck of catching an eagle flying by.

I just wanted to say this place was wonderful. We were definitely a little under dressed for this place and was still treated with so much class and respect. I have to give a huge shout out to our waitress Jacqi. She was absolutely fantastic. She was so nice. So professional. She spoke with so much class and tbh when she spoke she reminded me so much of Drew Berrymore who is my favorite actress. I’d highly recommend this restaurant and to request her as your waitress. You won’t be disappointed!

We had a large party of 13. The atmosphere was nice and beautiful at sunset. There wasn’t that many other tables, maybe 4 tables and the food seemed to take a while to be served. 5 of us had the Geneva Burger. 3 hours later, we all had stomach issues and vomited. The burger was so-so; 3 cooked medium and 2 cooked well done.

Fast food restaurant
Eddie's Grill is an iconic fast-food restaurant that has been serving burgers, hot dogs, and root beer in a classic American diner setting since 1950. Located in Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio, this family-run business has become a regional institution and a summer tradition for many generations of visitors. The old-school digs with jukeboxes at every table create a nostalgic atmosphere where patrons can enjoy ice-cold lemonade and indulge in their famous foot-long hot dogs.
Eddie's is the perfect place if you are looking for that feeling of nostalgia. It can get pretty busy, but the staff are on top of it. The food is number based where you pick up your food at the counter. The food is really good and you can add your own toppings to your burgers. They also have a tabletop jukebox where favorite oldies songs can be chosen and played over the loud speaker. On a hot day, a root beer hits the spot. This place is open-air, so it feels similar to an old carnival. The atmosphere is perfect and really feels like being set back in time.

Overall fun place to visit with tasty food. We got a burger, sloppy Joe and Fries. The burger and sloppy Joe were good, you get plenty of toppings to add yourself. The fries weren’t that great in my opinion, they had no flavor and just kinda of bland. They only take cash, but they do have an ATM in the back. Sitting on the patio in the back was nice! Would recommend!
Vickie P — Google review
Great food, okay service, and awesome atmosphere. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries for myself and a plain burger patty for my dog. The prices were kinda high, I paid $7 for just the plain burger patty. It is cash only but they have an atm in the back. All of the workers are very young and seemed a little uninterested in working but other than that everything was awesome. The place has a great vibe and the burger was delicious and I regret not trying their root beer. I would go back if I am ever in the area.
Kate C — Google review
Love the atmosphere, the music, the service, but the cheeseburger, fries, and hotdog were unremarkable and overpriced. I can’t speak to the other menu choices but I will say their sauce choices were far better than most and the lemonade from the adjoining Dairy Queen was delicious. It’s kind of an iconic place in Geneva and regulars swear by it so don’t take my word, be your own judge - I promise you’ll love the music and vibe. Cash only!!

Old school waterfront joint. Food was excellent (I had the fish platter, wife had sloppy Joe). Service and vibe fantastic. 10/10 recommend
Todd H — Google review
Always a great place to eat, the food is still pretty good for the price, even after all these years. Their footlong hotdog is really the best, cooked to perfection. Also, for some reason they have the best rootbeer, it's always tasted better than usual for some reason. My only complaint is that they seem to have gotten rid of their rear parking lot to add more dining room, forcing you to use the paid lot. Other than that though, the atmosphere and service is really good, gives the old classic 50's beach diner feel, with the juke box, outdoor seating, and number calling system. The front helpers are super friendly as always.

I have been attending Noble Art Dinner Theater performances for a few years now, and I can honestly say that it is one of the highlights of my year, consistently. I've brought many of my friends as well to varying performances over the last few years, and WITHOUT EXCEPTION they all agree that it is one of the most fun, unique, entertaining, and enjoyable theater-experiences that they've ever had. The talent and dedication of the actors/actresses, bartenders and kitchen staff is unparalleled. It is obvious that these people do this for the love and art of the theater, and to provide a fantastic experience and quality entertainment for their audiences. Not only do they write their own plays, sing their own songs, choreograph their own dances and build their own sets, but the entire experience from the menu to the drinks to the meal itself is themed to the performance, and it is sheer perfection. The cocktails and mocktails are always delicious, and I've never had anything other than an absolutely delicious dinner placed before me while in attendance. And the way they break it up into courses between acts really keeps your attention and your appetite whet. I cannot recommend enough to buy some tickets to the next Noble Art Dinner Theater event and come out to the Swiss Chalet in Geneva-On-The-Lake, Ohio and see for yourself what a great time you'll have at this hidden gem. Truly, it will be an experience that you will never forget!

My wife and I went out for a weekend for our anniversary. We had never been to dinner theater and was not sure what to expect. Everything from the drink selection to the dinner was excellent. Show was great as well. Definitely look into this again if you are in GoTL. My only recommendation would be better instructions on where to enter. They do not use the front entrance on the strip. Use the entrance to the bar at the rear or the building where parking is.

This used to be a popular place to go to when I was a kid. Geneva on the Lake had tons to do and was family friendly. But are recent trip during the summer was horrible. Alot has changed for the worse. Many places are gone and/or torn down and abandoned. The main square which is around where this is marked on the map is pretty sad now. Its so dead and most of the people were pretty drunk and wasted. We all felt kind of nervous. The food near by isn't that great anymore at all. Its greasy, cost alot and we will not return. Not sure why so much has changed, but I miss the old Geneva on the Lake.

This place is adorable. People are friendly and food was so good. Ordered shrimp and fries and got so much we took half home. Hubby got a chicken sandwich. Had a nice glass of wine because they also have a winery. Had a great singer and he was singing in a loft above our table. Fun place!!!

Stopped in for lunch because the views were so amazing. We had a GREAT server, but the kitchen was terrible. We waited over 45 minutes and actually got up to pay our check when they told us the food was ready. We had to take it to go at this point, which was disappointing. We didn't order anything special, and other folks were getting served before us who came in after us. Our server went above and beyond, even going to the kitchen staff several times without us having to mention anything because he knew it was taking an extreme amount of time. It's a lovely location, but I wouldn't stop in again.

We had a nice dinner here, we all ordered burgers and they were all yummy. The chips and salsa served with the burgers were amazing and you have to order the pink smash! Beautiful views and the Ferris wheel is right behind the restaurant and there are benches you can sit and enjoy the view. There’s also steps going down near the water with benches and a deck.

As a firefighter I was so excited to see this place! But when we arrived I was very confused about what was going on. There were kids in red shirts everywhere, probably at least 15. I counted 10 at one time, standing outside on their phones. I thought they were employees, but none made eye contact, or asked us if we would like to be seated. We finally were seated and did the souvenir tasting. The waitress just put it on the table and walked away. No explanation about the wines, no pride in the product. It took us a couple of minutes to figure out the paper on the tray had the wine names. At one point the table behind us left. None of the kids came to clean it. Our waitress finally took a few things back with her once when she took another tables order. We sat for nearly an hour before the other kids in red shirts finally were told to bus the table. If all of them were being paid, they were just purging money. It was frustrating watching them all just stand around on their phones, while one poor girl worked away. I also wanted to buy a shirt. There were several of the red t-shirt kids standing in the room with merchandise, but no one asked if I was needing help. And the merchandise area was a mess with stuff piled around. Keys and drinks and bags everywhere. They just totally avoided making eye contact. I didn't get a shirt, because it seemed like it was an inconvenience to the employees.

We came to Geneva-on-the-Lake for the 4th of July. We had dinner at the Old Firehouse Winery around 5:00 PM. My only complaint, which I still rate our experience as 5 stars, is that our waiter had a hard time understanding us. English was obviously his second language. Pricing was very reasonable for a tourist type of location. Set aside the slight language barrier, the service was great. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was exceptional. The facility and surrounding area was clean and kept up very well. We were seated in the gazebo and they had a musician playing the entire time. He was exceptional at his craft and it was not loud or overbearing. I ordered the St Louis Ribs with fries and a salad. The ribs were tender, falling off the bone. Delicious, to say the least. The salad and fries were very good as well. I highly recommend The Old Firehouse Winery. We will definitely be back.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Firehouse Winery, and I can't recommend it highly enough! The breathtaking views of the lake and stunning sunsets create an unforgettable backdrop for your experience. The staff is fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive, which makes the tasting experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is relaxed and chill, perfect for unwinding with friends or a loved one. To top it all off, the food is delicious and pairs beautifully with the wines. Whether you're just stopping in for a tasting or planning to enjoy dinner, Firehouse Winery is a must-visit. You definitely won't be disappointed! If it is a weekend, order your food as soon as you are seated, as they can be very busy. They will always let you know the wait time for food in advance!

We drove by this place this morning and as a firefighter family I was super excited to check out. Reviews were not that good and mixed and I decided that we would not attempt it. Our friends later on in the day wanted to go so I went along. The food and drinks were great. Waitress and server were wonderful. I saw the reviews about the "kids standing in read shirts" when we walked up to host stand three of them looked as us and quickly turned away and said nothing. Someone finally came out and said to order drinks we had to go inside. They were sold out of three wines to taste. I got a huge strawberry daiquiri!!! It was good. We then went outside to sit and ordered some appetizers all to share. Im not trying to make excuses or dismiss any others people's reviews but I personally think that the majority of the staff is foreign and super young. Maybe they are just used to their customs, young, nervous. They all had deep accents. Overall we enjoyed our time.

Mini Golf
Allison's Mini Golf, established in 1924, proudly holds the title of the oldest continuously running mini golf course in the United States. This historic spot offers 18 fun and deceptively challenging holes with obstacles like steep hills and bowling pins. After enjoying a round or two, visitors can browse for souvenirs at the Krazy K Shirts shop. The family-friendly course is not overly difficult, making it perfect for little ones just starting out.
Very tasty food. Sausage and pepper sandwiches are really good. Nachos and cheese😋. We didn't play miniature golf this time will probably try it next time.

The kids who worked here last night really pulled through. After a nightmare experience at a restaurant resulting in no food, we made a mad dash to the strip looking for anything fast. We stumbled upon this gem. Hot sausage and pepper sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. The service was amazing and they were so kind and fast! Thank you for having an affordable price too! If you're in the area and need a quick bite, this is your place! Next time we are up, we will be sure to frequent to support this place!

Overall fun experience! Was $12 total for 2 people. There were a lot of holes to play, but nothing too interesting or challenging. For being the first mini golf this was a fun experience and I’d recommend if you’re in the area! A cat came and started to chase the golf balls around too!
Vickie P — Google review
Fun little place, the people at the desk were nice. $6 each is really reasonable for 18 holes. It sure if kids would like it because the holes are pretty straightforward, not a lot of cutesy things like you see at newer miniature golf places.

Very well kempt miniature golf course...it is the oldest course in the US (see pic)...we had a great time...not a difficult course but very enjoyable and affordable ..

I stopped, it is closed, so sad. Goodbye America's oldest miniature golf course. Anyway, be careful about this town fellow cross-country travelers. Apparently there is a motorcycle rally every year at this time and the locals are not nice if you are not on a motorcycle. Watch where you park. Even on a good day. Won't return to the town of Geneva on the Lake.

This was such a fun and adorable mini golf course! My husband and I loved it! We were super impressed! Such a fun addition to the GOTL strip and they’ve been around for ages!! We had a great time and enjoyed the 18 holes that were really unique and a lot of fun!

Outdoor Activities
Geneva-on-the-Lake Golf Course is a 6,000-yard municipal course established in 1927, offering a scenic wooded landscape and well-maintained fairways suitable for golfers of all levels. The course features water hazards and sand traps with PGA quality sand. The clubhouse provides a fun atmosphere with the opportunity to enjoy signature drinks and even play foot golf with provided soccer balls. Visitors can also savor great food while taking in the view of the greens from the patio.
Absolutely fantastic experience at Geneva-on-the-Lake Golf Course! The course itself was in great shape — fairways were clean, greens rolled true, and the views didn’t hurt either. But what really made the day unforgettable was the staff. Christina, the bartender, is a legend. She’s friendly, hilarious, and somehow remembered everyone’s name and drink like she’s running a Cheers reboot. She kept the vibes high and the drinks flowing like a true pro. The cart girls were just as awesome — super friendly, always around when you needed them, and clearly knew how to keep a thirsty foursome happy. Service all around was top-tier. Can’t recommend this place enough. Great golf, even better people. Already planning my next round.

Part of the Geneva on the lake Halloween bar crawl 10/18-19/2024 friendly service. It's a little hard to find tucked away behind the golf ⛳ course the . THE 19TH HOLE ⛳😁
HORROR F — Google review
The young lady in the shop was helpful and friendly. The course was in fair shape. The fairways and tee boxes were in good shape. The greens for the most part were good, but a few had dead spots and were bumpy. Mtce was going on at the 1st and 18th holes with the 17th hole being totally closed. This took away from the golf experience The course is only about 1/3 of a mile from Lake Erie, but you do not see it from any where on the course. I’d like to play the course again after the mtce noted is completed.
Lawrence C — Google review
I imagine in its day a pretty good course. Greens were a surprise in a good way after trying to identify the fairways. Surprised no one told us hope 17 was closed. Would not play again.
Bob T — Google review
Played a quick round while on vacation. First tee time and were done in under 3 hrs. Course was fun and was in great shape for the $. Staff were great. There has been horrendous rain in the area for weeks now so it was super wet and had a few spots of standing water but I don't know a course that wouldn't after all the rain. Greens rolled great. This will become a yearly tradition for us. Great time.
Richard S — Google review
Came here on a last minute idea for a family trip to Geneva on the lake. Clubhouse is awesome as described by other reviews. The bartender was super nice. However the course is in terrible shape. Rough and Fairways are exactly the same. Areas surrounding greens need serious work. Greens were in good shape and challenging but everything was either overgrown or in need of serious repair. Great course if you’re looking to hack and drink. Not really worth the money.
Curtis W — Google review
Christiana is running a great golf course. Everyday they are making this course better. You know from the second you walk in that Christiana cares about the course and anyone coming here to play is treated like family! Do yourself a favor next time in GOTL and play a round here!

The food is delicious! Love that hot stone cooking. The red skin potatoes and the baked apples really complete the meal. The staff is friendly and the view of Lake Erie is beautiful! Perfect way to finish off a wonderful day!

All the food was delicious. I got the filet on the black stone, the red potatoes, and the green beans. A note on the stone it continues cooking the meat while in front of you. I sliced my filet and touched the bite for about a second each side for a medium rare doness. My meat stayed hot throughout the process. The flavor of the filet on the stone was phenomenal. The red potatoes were seasoned and cooked perfectly. The green beans had good flavor and cooked perfect. They were firm and not floppy or limp like most places. My husband got the Gorgonzola steak tortellini and that was just as delicious. Our view was overlooking Lake Erie and was also beautiful. Our service was a little slow but the only server I noticed was ours so they may have been understaffed. Next year if we stay close by we will definitely be back.

We ate here September 20, 2025. I’ve been here several times before and we always enjoy sitting out in the patio overlooking Lake Erie. Each time the hostess is slow to seat us, but the views and food make up for the poor first impression. I really loved the fires that are cooked in beef tallow, so delicious! My burger on a pretzel bun was super tasty. They always have a decent selection of beers available.

We tried the steak on a stone and it was delicious and something different for dinner. The filet was tender and well seasoned. The red skin potatoes were very tasty. I even got the mermaid water cocktail which was cute and delicious. We ate inside next to the window since the wind was chilly, but they have a beautiful patio and full bar outside.

Beautiful location right on the lake and outstanding service! As a brewery, I was expecting more than just their two options (a pale ale and an amber). The food was ok - my husband had the salmon, which he said was good; I had the chicken sandwich which was a wee bit dry. The pretzel appetizer was probably the best part of our dinner!

We did thier hit stone streak and loved the idea of cooking your own food right at your seat. Service was ok (under staffed because half went back to school)- they did thier best. ONE OF THE BEST PLACES TO SEE A SUNSET on GOTL.

Excellent experience!! Saturday summer evening and it is so so busy. We were seated immediately and a server approached us right away ..our drinks came so fast and were perfect. I got the crab cake sandwich with fries and it was huge and outstanding. Hubby got the walleye sandwich and it barely fit on the plate. It was crunchy and perfect. This place is amazing and highly recommend

View of the lake was amazing. I had the Caribbean Chicken, it was cooked well except for some of the onions and pineapple were not fully cooked. Would've liked if the onions and pineapple were caramelized. I also had the house side salad, not too bad, some wilted romaine mixed in there. Red potatoes were very good. Service was great as well. The Duck Wontons for our starter were really good!

Murphy's Pub & Ale House is a bustling spot with a lively atmosphere. The staff is attentive and accommodating, even when the kitchen gets busy. The menu offers delicious options like Shepherd's pie, Reuben sandwiches, and tasty appetizers like pretzels. On top of that, they have a great selection of beers to choose from. If you're lucky, you might catch live entertainment from bands like The Mulligans while enjoying your meal.
Excellent. Gets busy. Great Irish music sing a longs. Cool bartender. Connects to more live music next door. Pork rib bytes were great!

The highlight of our visit was the service. We had a great waiter. Nothing good to say other than that. The Irish stew that’s on the menu we were told no one ordered, so it’s no longer available. I ordered the Shepards pie instead. Our meals were plated nicely, but the Shepards Pie was tiny, better suited to being an appetizer. I got absolutely no meat in it, so it was more like a vegetable stew with some mashed potatoes in the middle. Equally as bad was the Rueben. The meat was hard and stringy ~ barely edible. Not a good experience and we do not recommend unless you’re there just to drink.

Amazing Irish Bar. Service was great. There was a bartender that was from Ireland that was very friendly. That is just a half portion of the Murphy's famous grilled Reuben. Enough to share

One of the best choices on the strip. Irish servers, pool table, great drink options, and tasty food. The service is fast and friendly. They have outdoor seating available. The bartenders are great. I recommend the fish and chips or the Reuben. The bloody Mary’s are great...nice and spicy! Cheers 🍻

Daisy, Emily, Lucky, and Sean were all a pleasure to meet and celebrate our daughter's 21st birthday with. Sean and Lucky were both kind enough to regale us and the rest of the bar with their lovely singing voices and a few of their favorite Irish tunes. The whole staff was absolutely delightful and made a huge impact on our family and our entire trip there to Geneva. The food and drinks were so delicious we couldn't help but go back multiple times during our vacation. Sean introduced us to some wonderful Irish whiskey outside of the everyday Jameson as well as a new mule that tasted like the old recipe for the orange Hi-C and even turned us on to some Irish beers that some of us thought we wouldn't like from previous experiences. I'm not sure when we'll be back up again, but hopefully sometime soon because we really enjoy this place and made wonderful memories here. Thank you all for being so kind and wonderful to make this a great trip.

The service was excellent. We had a younger guy and we were on the patio but he was impressively attentive. We ordered the fried mushrooms which were incredible and then my husband and I split the Reuben and the fish and chips. My husband said it was the best he’s ever had! We had an excellent experience and would definitely return!

First time at Piero’s. I don’t normally eat pasta but have been craving GOOD pasta and they did not disappoint! Service was excellent, kitchen was fast. Salad was fresh, meals were on point! I even indulged in tiramisu for dessert and I’m not sad that I ate every bite of my dinner AND dessert! I plan on going back soon, and many times before they close for the season in October!

This is hands-down, the best Italian food that we’ve ever had. Everything was in fact made from scratch. The service was wonderful. We wish we lived closer so we could frequent the establish more often. We especially love the negative people who write nasty reviews that are false because the owner provides Exceptional responses putting them in their place. Everyone of them gave us a great laugh. We wish we could give this place 10 stars.

Went during Thunder On the Strip, the location is small, so the wait was long (45 minutes), I will say it was absolutely worth the wait. They only sell bottled water (Dasani) and if you want bread there's an additional charge, but the food was amazing. For two people with no alcohol (just water and meals) the bill was $90 before tip, however, if you are someone willing to pay for phenomenal food this is the place!
Genevieve ( — Google review
Looked forward to eating there for a couple days after looking at the reviews. Although, it ended up being disappointing to me . I got the mushroom ravioli and it came with a side salad. The salad was definitely nothing special. It consisted of lettuce, a little bit of grated cheese and one cherry tomato. The ravioli was good, along with the sauce. Except there were only five raviolis! That was fine for me, but I couldn’t imagine if a bigger eater or a man, had ordered that! As far as the meal, what I cannot get over is, there was no bread of any kind that came with it. I am 62 and have never been to an Italian restaurant that didn’t serve bread with the meal! There was one waitress, waiting on everyone in the restaurant and busing tables. She did a decent job for as much as she had to do. My meal was $27.43, which was way too much for what it was!
Gaye M — Google review
We were told that the food was homemade yet we seen them get the bags out of the freezer and pour the pasta into boiling water from a freezer bag and and there was supposed to be three cheese yet the server could not tell us what cheese were in it. there is hidden cost. They do not inform you that any of the sauces that you want on your pasta, cost an extra five dollars. We spent $80 for frozen food that I could make it home for two dollars.
Donna S — Google review
We had a small group and were the only ones in the restaurant, when people or groups of came in after us, one of the chefs basically threw a tantrum that they had to serve more people, its a small place with an open kitchen so you can see and hear everything. She obviously didn't want to be there and the quality of the food matched her attitude. The food was gross and borderline inedible. They used what tasted and felt like canned chicken for the Alfredo. Go somewhere else!

If you're looking for a fun-filled outing, "Game On! Arcade & Sports Pub" is the perfect destination. With a dozen televisions showcasing various sports events and a full bar service featuring affordable drinks like $6 Titos and juices, it's an ideal spot to unwind.
Best bang for your buck as far as arcades. The games are all reasonable and the cost for the cards is also a deal. We frequent arcades for air hockey and some other classics and this is by far one of the best ones to get the most for your money. I have not checked out the prize selection but parents this is a great deal!

Having a couple of TV's does not make you a sports pub. No food to speak of. 3 flavors of wings, nachos and what looked like frozen pizza. The bar staff was horrible. The 2 girls stood near the open garage door and talked for the longest time. I will not be back.

To response: This restroom has been in a state of disrepair for many many years, DONT SAY YOUR GOING TO FIX IT, parking lot attendant was wearing your shirt tho??? No response to gross because it is lol Upon entering the parking lot I was almost immediately harassed by the parking lot attendant. I asked if it was 10$ for both bikes since we were only in one spot, he said yes, I gave him $10 for him only to say no $10 each! For the same spot??? So I had to move my bike into another spot and pay an additional $10. $20 for 2 bikes???? Upon entering the building I went to bar, only to have to wait for almost 10 minutes to get a drink because noone was around??? No restrooms inside, there is an out building that is in beyond disrepair, lights hanging from the ceiling, wires out and visible, all kinds of safty hazards, that if it was my house they would condemn it and fine me forsure! but again this is a business so all this is just fine! Was gross nothing cleaned entire time I was there and staff very disrespectful cant believe they treat customers this way... and charge this much Picture was behind, not on there property of lake Erie. Why the 1 star instead on none ;)

Located near Lake Road in Geneva-on-the-Lake, it offers an action-packed day for families with kids. The park also features a giant arcade and various adrenaline-pumping activities like the Screaming Eagle Go Carts and the Super-Squirter Bumper Boats.
Played arcade games and rented a golf cart. If you spend your pocket book on anything here, be it them golf carts and go tour the town. Especially the walking trails west of the marina. There is trails for the carts. Following the signs. There are spots you can see the water. West of the beach. Adventure out and look! We spent 4 days in GOTL and this was by far the highlight to our trip.

As noted. Be careful buying passes as they close rides with no notice. The Adventure zone is understaffed. We never did get to rock climbing as it was closed after we played miniature golf. The kids loved what was open. But disappointed nothing is open. Even the games inside didn't give the correct amount of tickets.

Here are photos of there being no staff at 5 of the 7 rides. Then they wanted to not let my child on something because she was over the weight limit when she was not. I feel like this is $100 wasted. Very disappointing.

Bumper boats were awesome, so much fun on a hot day. Mini golf was fun as we're the go carts. Zip line was ok for the price. Had to walk up the many flights of stairs carrying a heavy piece of equipment and the landing was quite jarring at the end. No platform to stand on to take the harness off. They bring you a 6 foot ladder to step onto to get the harness off. I would go back to do everything again minus the zipline.

I’d give it 10 stars if I could!!! This is the most fun we have had in a long time! Friendly staff, up-to-date equipment and arcade games, clean facilities, fast service, I could go on. They were super patient when our mini-golf game ran a little over operating hours. Very great experience! Special shout out to Michelle, Mr. Martin and Jon for an extra special go-cart race. Jackson (bungees and go-karts) and Zachary (go-karts and the wall) were super today for my boys. Girl on escape room at 4:30 pm (name starts with M) was very sweet, too...and helped out a lot. They all were patient, kind, and so accommodating. We parents appreciate this! Thanks, guys!

We had the best time- our first visit here

Highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area. During our time at the Adventure Park, we spent most of our time on the go karts. There are bleachers facing the track so that you can watch. Our toddler aged children enjoyed the free jenga and connect 4 games. The staff members were positive and friendly. Nate, Conner and Ian made our experience here positive and memorable. The manager (Tyler) was friendly and took the time to listen to our feedback as well as making sure that everything ran smoothly. We will definitely be back!

Geneva Township Park is a charming lakeside park located on the shores of Lake Erie, offering a perfect setting for a family picnic or a relaxing day out. The park features open grassy spaces, a play area for kids, and a fishing pier with picturesque views of the lake. It is well-maintained and offers picnic tables, benches, and covered shelters for visitors to enjoy their meals while taking in the scenic surroundings.
I love the water, the Pavillion, the old school house. Great place for a reunion

Geneva Township Park is a good place for a chill outing on Lake Erie. There’s good views of the lake, short walking trails, plenty of picnic tables, and a playground. Some of the facilities such as the bathrooms need to be updated and better maintained, but everything else is very pleasant. I give this park my recommendation.

Beautiful view of the lake.. nice parking area to stop and rest, view, picnic or just to take a nice walk

Clean well maintained quaint park. Large clean bathrooms. Very nice views but no real beach. There is a ramp going down to a short concrete walk. It had a small but nuce jungle gym for kids and sime nice paved walks through the mature wooded lot.

Nice public park for a waterfront picnic. Beautiful views of Lake Erie. However, because of past erosion and reclamation efforts there is no beach.
Gerard Z — Google review
This is a nice park with a playground, 2 pavilions, and great Lake Erie views. You can walk down to the lakefront, but there is no beach or swimming here. That is located at the state park. There are frequent free live concerts in the evening. This is a great source of free entertainment while visiting Geneva on the Lake.

This little park has it all! Stunning panoramic views of Lake Erie and the coastline. There are two pavilions (one is lakefront and screened), a children's play area, sand volleyball court, baseball diamond, walking trails and public restrooms. Also, the perfect place to enjoy a spectacular sunrise or sunset! Highly recommended.

High Tide Tavern is a long-standing community hub located at the end of Geneva-on-the-Lake strip. Managed by Betty Sickinger and her family, this bar has been serving breakfasts, burgers, and hosting events like karaoke nights for over 25 years. It's a year-round spot where you can find snow plow drivers warming up with coffee on cold winter mornings. The tavern offers live music, pool tournaments, adult hayrides, and holiday pub crawls.
What a fantastic little bar! The food was absolutely fantastic the service was great and the new owners have really made the place look great! They have a tacky good bar food menu, and all the fried foods were crisp and fresh. Happy hour has great deals, and Friday and Saturday nights that have karaoke. Our group had a blast. We'll be back!

My wife and I went on a weekend get away and we absolutely love this bar. The regulars are so nice and inviting. They have karaoke on Friday and Saturdays. The chicken wings are crispy and delicious, and the bartenders make sure you're taken care of. This was one of the best bars we visited on our get away.

Been here an hour. Two beers, no food yet. Ordered an appetizer and still not here. Took waitress 25 minutes to take our order. Won't really matter if food here is good. We were there May 29th around 7:30 p.m, left around 9:45 p.m. I have heard good things but the place was empty until we were leaving, business picked up.
David S — Google review
Overall fine experience. Food was good and so was customer service. Doesn’t allow orders below $10 using a credit card. This ended up me paying for a small cup of custard for $3. Was disappointed for having to buy useless stuff which i did mot need - in a digital world, carrying cash is difficult.

The Pavilion Bar and Grill is a delightful dining spot located in the vibrant Geneva-on-the-Lake area. Known for its inviting atmosphere, it’s a perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. Guests rave about the delicious food options, including mouthwatering burgers and hearty Reubens, complemented by an impressive selection of adult beverages. The Pavilion is particularly lively during events like bike week, attracting both locals and visitors who enjoy good company and great service.
Great food good service Went for Geneva Bike event . Really had a Great Ruben and frys.

This is about as divey a bar as you can get. It is a two level outdoor bar with just the basics. It looks like it should have been painted or stained about 5 years ago and it also looks like nobody ever picks up or sweeps. Now, that being said the bartenders are always super nice and it is a great place to grab a cheaper drink and people watch from the first or second story.
Chad D — Google review
Biker dive to the max. Great place for meeting with bikers or for a great outdoor breezy bar experience.

Jason P — Google review
Went there on June 24th. Have been there before when we were riding on motorcycle runs. On this particular night we were not riding so we were not in our gear. When I said hello to the bartender. .. nothing... no hello ... nothing. When she emptied my ashtray it was thrown back down. She was very friendly to the people in biker gear. Well, I am a biker just didn't have my gear on that night. Will never go back there again . Been a bartender for 33 years. First time I've never left a tip. She was as rude as rude could be
