Went for the first time and was way better than I expected! They have a lot of Japanese products and some freshly made in house. The bakery have some of the most delicious bread and they carefully pack it for you. The restaurant area have a great variety of Japanese dishes to choose from, I got the Katsudon or pork cutlet bowl and it was delicious 😋 If you love Japanese food, I definitely recommend to check out this place.

This place is amazing. As an Asian grocer's they have a huge selection. What really stands out and draws me in is the food court and bookstore. Possibly the best selection of foods in any one location other than Chinatown. Also gochapon!!!

This place will bring me back to Chicagoland over and over DREAMING about being a local. Next time I know to be in line at 10:30a on Sunday for the Udon shop. The fish in their deli packed sushi is the freshest thing in all of my hometown. 100/10

The food court at Mitsuwa Marketplace is a must-visit! We tried dishes from three different restaurants this time, and none of them disappointed. The prices are reasonable, and the food is incredibly authentic. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Japanese cuisine!

Amazing food choices, great ramen, fresh noodles, sushi, meats....you name it, it's there! Food court is awesome, grocery area is clean & stocked, unique Asian foods, snacks & drinks galore! And you gotta stop by the bookstore, we love this place

Mitsuwa Marketplace was an ok, overpriced Japanese grocery. I believe H Mart is a better Asian market choice in terms of price and selection. Mitsuwa seems to be about 25-30% over "everyday" items, alcoholic beverages, fruits, vegetables and frozen seafood. I believe the draw here is for the food stalls and vending. The staff was not very attentive and seemed to be bothered when approached. We were looking for Udon brand soup which Costco and H Mart has among others. I don’t recommend going on the weekend as I hear it's twice as busy. They do get a star for having a Pastry House Hippo and Mugimaru noodle shop.

One of my favorite places to frequent at least once a month! I love all the options they have inside the store and in the food court. What i love most is the library and their selection of manga and other collectibles! Although it can get a little busy, it is still enjoyable to visit every single time <3

It is my favorite place for a peaceful walk, but there are many bike and scooter riders. If you want to walk for a long distance, this is still the best. The red trail is over 7 miles long. It is an easy and flat trail with many rest stops along the way. I like the bench located near the lake for the beautiful view.

Nice place to visit for outdoor activities. Multiple entrances and easy to park. Walking and Bike path around the whole preserve. Plenty of space for everyone.

I have been going to Busse Woods for years now. Love to hike there and just relax in nature sometimes. I have to say I have never seen the bathrooms in such cleanliness as I have this year. Even more amazing there's always toilet paper. I dont know if this is a new crew or new training, but keep up the good work. Its very appreciated.

Mtb trail was too overgrown in areas, with fallen trees blocking the path multiple times, many trails lead to overgrown areas both unhikeable and unrideable, I got stuck and then swarmed by mosquitos. Other than that I was being evil cutting up in busse woods 😈

Beautiful park with so much to do—biking, jogging, kayaking, or just relaxing by the water. The trails are well-maintained, and the elk area is a must-see! Great spot to spend the day outdoors with family or friends.

Worth the money for the experience. I’d recommend it for kids between the ages of 6-10. Self-guided experience. VR experience is $6 plus tax. The place was clean and spacious. They have a Starbucks on-site.

My Son’s and mine experience was Awesome. From the time we walked in until the time we left everyone was so Friendly. I was going to buy the tickets online but I wasn’t sure what came with what ticket so I waited until I arrived and the gentleman helped me. I think I enjoyed it more than my son. It was well above my expectations. I would highly recommend going.

The place is very underwhelming for the price even with a Groupon. Its not much to do took my 5 yr old she was not impressed but made the most of it. The 2nd floor is where the kids play but very limited. Climbing gym is good for 2 and 3 yr old, actually the whole place is better for that age group. Ages 4 and up I just feel its nothing to keep them entertained for any amount of time. Will not be returning, got the combo pack for Peppa Pig world but highly doubt I'll go there looks like more of the same a waste of $90 to me.

I had loads of fun 🤩. It was an exciting experience for the kids and even the adults. I particularly enjoyed the short film 🎥 show at the theatre 🎭. The lego setup was absolutely brilliant! We bought our ticket 🎟️ online and the queue at the place was not bad but it was a week day (Friday) The staff were good 👍🏻.

Not Worth the Money, Even at a Discount I was really disappointed with our visit to Legoland Schaumburg. Even with a 40% discount per ticket, it felt like a waste of money. Adult and kid tickets are priced the same, and each adult must be with a child to enter — which makes sense, but still adds up quickly. For the price, I expected a lot more. Most of the attraction is just pre-built Lego displays to look at, with very limited hands-on building opportunities. There are a few things for kids to do — a small indoor play area, a short VR experience, a little theater, and a mini kiddie rollercoaster — but overall, it’s minimal for the cost. I can’t imagine how crowded it must be on weekends, even with the timed entry system. We went during a less busy time and still didn’t feel like it was worth it. Bottom line: I definitely wouldn’t pay full price for this place. I spent $70 plus for two adults and two kids (5 year olds) I wish I would've bought them a nice Lego set and it would've been better for them! After an hour ish, the kids wanted to leave.

My six year old grandson is a Lego maniac, just like his Dad. Although Legoland Discovery didn't show up on the list of places to visit in Chicago, we are so happy not to have missed it. Eddie loved almost everything. He has issues with loud noises so at first he was unhappy with cannon noise in the pirate climbing area. After he settled in, however, he easily tolerated all the noisy rides and movies. The best 4d film was about cops and robbers. It was hilarious and the use of lights, mist, and wind really added to the film. The 3d glasses fit over Eddie's glasses. We did everything at least twice during the 4 hours we were there. It was busy but there were no long lines. I really appreciated the clear and visible price tags in the store. Eddie could easily read them to make choices within his budget. Don't miss this if you have a Lego lover in your family

Very cute and fun experience for all ages. I loved seeing the Lego model of Chicago. The nod to the Blues Brothers, Batman, and the Ghostbusters was so cute. The attention to every detail is amazing. My daughter loved the pirate ship area and the ride. The Lego store at the end has a lot of different options to purchase.

You know that scene in Spirited Away when the parents are scarfing down that food and they make it look soo delicious?!? Thats what this food taste like. It hugged us from the inside out; it excited our palette incredibly. CAN’T BELIEVE WE FOUND THIS PLACE! Omg! From the first bite we knew it would be delicious, you can taste the freshness, the love and dedication they put into their food. Definitely a new Favorite!!!!❤️

Ever since I discovered this spot a month ago, I've been back multiple time. It’s a Korean-Japanese fusion restaurant, and they absolutely nail it. There are a ton of roll options, so there's something for everyone. The sashimi and nigiri are always fresh, clean, and beautifully prepared. But don’t sleep on the kitchen menu. The Nagasaki pasta is packed with flavor. It's definitely one of those dishes you think about days later. The whole staff from the owner to the servers to the chefs behind the counter is warm, friendly, and genuinely makes you feel welcome. It’s the kind of place where you feel taken care of. If you're into sushi (or just good food in general), Nikko Sushi is 100% worth checking out.

So.... I was so deadset that they weren't open Sundays... And my boss said they were. I still said, "No way. I swear." We arrived and whoa. They were open! To my surprise, it was the first time they opened on a Sunday. That tickled my fancy and I was not at all disappointed with the service. We had gotten an array of appetizers and some beer. Soju too, which I like a lot. The menu is a lot different from when I used to go there/worked there (2016). But damn. They are doing great in my book. I really liked the service and would definitely go back again! Actually, I have been also getting to-go after that experience.

This place is a joke, I ABSOLUTELY REGRET paying for this, Its ridiculous that this was 55 dollars for each container, paying 25 dollars on a roll i would at least expect it to be 3/4 of one container but this type of service made me feel absolutely stupid paying for this. I’ll never be coming back to a place that overcharges for these type of portions. Rolls weren’t best quality either, all ingredients were spared well on my order. I can go to any AYCE place and eat this much food for $30 with same quality ingredients.

We ordered sushi takeout and it was the worst sushi experience we’ve ever had. The rice wasn’t even sushi rice, just plain bland rice. The rolls completely fell apart, and every single one tasted exactly the same. Calling this sushi is an insult — it was a complete waste of money.

It's old. That's OK. It's the hotels restaurant but doesn't seem to draw much from their occupancy. It's the budget free hot breakfast that accounts for the assemblage of the dining room built in 70s with a fireplace and sunken lounge. one can feel the disconnect between what it was all s what it is used for today. Servers are friendly and attentive but very disassociated with the 3 tables they had. Not each... total. There is no atmosphere. Perhaps a different night?

The service and atmosphere are fantastic. I got a burger, and there was no flavor at all, not even mayo and onion could fix it. There was a total of 4 of us, and they all enjoyed their food, mine was just blah.

I’ve had to stay at the hotel and eat here for multiple business trips. In short, you can walk less than a mile and have a significantly better experience for the same price. The food is ok. I say ok because the dishes seem good but then they overly saturate flavors like putting way too much salt on things. Compared to other places near here, it’s pretty poor quality. Not horrible, just eh compared to the competition. The service is ok, not slow. I would say the staff aren’t very friendly either. However, they aren’t rude. I can see why other reviews call it awkward because many of the employees kind of come across as shy and sometimes hard to understand. You also self seat and no one tells you that. That’s a bit awkward, but the staff always seem to find me, fill up my water and get my food promptly. The atmosphere is ok. It’s more like a lodge feel and usually very empty. If you want to sit at the bar in quiet and watch a game on TV, this is for you. If. You feel awkward sitting in a completely quiet restaurant, this isn’t the place for you and will be awkward.

I arrived in the evening and tried the salmon at the bar. It was good, not spectacular, but served its purpose. Nice quiet atmosphere to unwind and head to my room. Wasn't a full menu like I expected, but just enough.

I have eaten breakfast and dinner here. Ok breakfast, and the wings were great. Service was excellent, but it was no too busy. I would eat here anytime.

I ate here last night with co workers. We are here at this hotel every 14days, til October. I ordered wings and fries. When the fries came, they were old and burnt. I asked waiter about it, he said" I asked the kitchen are you going to send those out like that" ( he said the kitchen said yes) so I asked him" yet you still served them to me". He just smiled and walked away.

After reading through some of the other reviews, I noticed that only a very small handful of people ordered Malaysian food. I don’t know why people come to a Malaysian restaurant just to order some Chinese and Thai dishes that you can find closer to home. There are only several places in Illinois that specialize in Malaysian cuisine. I encourage people that read my review to come here and try some of the signature dishes. We just came back from Penang, Malaysia a month ago and wanted to introduce a friend to the cuisine. Overall, this is a 4 out of 5. If the service was better it could be a 4.5. Prices I suppose were slightly expensive since it’s a specialty. Portion sizes were ample for the b three of us. We ordered roti canai, char kway teow duck egg, Penang har mee, curry laksa, Hainanese chicken ½, Panang curry with shrimp, cendol, coconut pudding, and teh tarik. Service was okay. It did take awhile to signal one of the servers to come to us, so that they could take our order. For some reason, they were always short on something (one bowl/spoon, one glass of water, one takeout box, etc). There were three of us but they never gave us the correct amount of utensils. -roti canai 5 - very tasty. Flatbread was flaky and soft. Easy to pull apart, but sturdy enough to hold the chicken and potato with the sauce. -char kway teow duck egg 5 - staple in Malaysian cuisine. Noodles had the right amount of chew and there was a good balance of seafood and noodles. -Penang har mee 4 - I gave it a 4 because it’s not as delicious as the one in Penang but this is still very good. The noodles here are not as chewy and the broth is not as addicting. Still, the noodles and meat are very good. Broth has a small kick to it but it has a very shrimpy taste. Just a note but the shrimp in every dish is huge. -curry laksa 5 - I really enjoyed this dish. If you run out of noodles, add some of that white rice to it. Not really spicy. Milk texture due to the coconut milk. -Hainanese chicken 4 - this is pretty good for being in Illinois but nowhere as good as in Singapore. The chicken isn’t as tender and juicy. This version is still tender and is recommended to eat. Like I said, it’s not something you can get everywhere. The rice that comes with it is delicious. No, it's not just regular white rice. -Panang curry with shrimp 5 - the sauce has a sweeter taste to it, different from the savory dishes we had. They gave a generous amount of shrimp. -cendol 4 - this version is more watery than the Penang version. In Penang, it’s thicker and milkier. This is still a good dessert to have after a heavy meal. -coconut pudding 5 - $13 is a bit steep so you better finish all of it. There is some coconut meat that you can eat as well. -teh tarik - 4 - light drink. We had the iced and hot. The hot version has a stronger taste.

The food and the flavors were out of this world. Really loved the spice levels too. The service was a huge downside here. But the wait and the food made it all worth it. Will recommend this place to all who are looking for Malaysian food.

The place is so beautiful and the sound of the kitchen from the restaurant makes everything so warming like it is to be in many parts of south east Asia. I go here bout 3 times a year and it's my most fav crusine and favorable place admire. Food is great as a Lao/ thai person. I recommend all I always buy one of everything most favorite is beef rengdeng and eggplant dish.

We ordered noodle with seafood not sure what it called, pulled the picture up from the google, it was good. The hainan chicken was delicious, little too much sesame oil, could have taste better with ginger garlic soy sauce. The oyster omelette was not as expected. As the picture looked more thin and crispy more like crapes but what we got was an omelette with oyster in side. Not bad but not as expected! Tofu satay with peanut sauce has so much tumeric which made the peanut sauce taste weird! Let talked about service, tardily slow! One of the server was not friendly. Only three tables with two servers, approximately waiting 30-40mins.

Deeply Disappointing Experience – Unprofessional and Disrespectful Service!! From the moment we walked in, the reception was cold, rude, and completely unwelcoming. Things only went downhill from there. When we politely asked if we could order an additional serving of curry (and were ready to pay extra for it), the waitress snapped back in the most arrogant tone, “It does not come separately.” No explanation, no courtesy, just rudeness. The way she spoke was unnecessarily harsh and made us feel like we were doing something wrong simply by asking. Usually kids like to explore the new places, things. Here they expect the kid not to move from their seat. Hospitality should be the heart of any restaurant, but here, arrogance and disrespect seem to be the norm. The lack of basic manners from both the receptionist and the waitress ruined the entire experience. Food might fill the stomach, but attitude leaves the lasting impression — and this place left the worst one possible. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are far better places where staff treat customers with respect.

I ordered the teriyaki salmon, and I honestly don’t understand how anyone can eat this. I was very hungry and managed to eat half the salmon, but the rest was just an oily, mushy mess. Way too much grease, and the texture was completely off.

Another fancy place refusing to hand out menu's. The food was good so kudos to the chef. The portions were small and the plates smaller so it was impossible to cut the steak without the veggies falling on the table. What's that about? The atmosphere has gone downhill. Was beautiful and classy now it seemed like a very expensive diner, unless you eat outside that looked cute. I'd order the food and eat at home, skip the bad service and fees. Either way it's like you ordering take out with no menu to give you the full restaurant experience. I know im old fashioned but I look at my phone and computers all day, I prefer to be present in the moment when I dine out but even the bar menu was a qr code. They had 3 receptionists... have one of them write out a menu while the chat at the podium.

Modern pan Asian sushi. I didn’t think the sushi sashimi were outstanding but it was fresh and good. Service was polite and prompt. Food came out quickly for a busy restaurants.

We choose Shakou for our dinner out this week. We had not been here before but the menu looked amazing & it did not disappoint. We had made a reservation for Thursday at 6 but there was plenty of seating at this time. Our server was prompt & helpful, directing me to this amazing Pear martini. Our food came quickly & was so delicious! I like that their menu indicates spicy, raw fish & GF - so helpful. I look forward to trying more dishes on the menu! My only 'thing' was the atmosphere- high top tables in the bar - chairs were back to back, no room to move. Music was very loud but okay & there were many families with kids coming in all night. 🌻🌻🌻🌻❌️

My wife and I went to shakou for Easter dinner. Had a wonderful time! Great environment, terrific food and our waitress was outstanding. This is a fantastic place to have a great drink and delicious food, not to mention the and customer services was a cut above the rest. As soon as we enter the restaurant, the hostesses were fantastic... welcoming, smiling and inviting. What made the evening even better was our waitress, Nattaya. She was terrific, very professional, provided great recommendations for food and provided outstanding customer service. We will definitely be going back, as well as bringing our friends. Outstanding drinks. Extremely good pours.

An awesome spot to watch horse racing and to bet on the results. However, it is much more than that. We attended a private event. The rooms are beautiful. The staff is professional and friendly. The food was delicious. The grounds are breathtaking. It is a relaxing and comfortable experience wherever you are seated to watch the races. Of course, it is also exciting if you have some skin in the game!

Last season: Very sorry to see this beautiful track being closed after this year but, the owners let the community, employees and racing fans down. This is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon watching thoroughbred racing. It will definitely be missed....

A day at the races, what can I say. We were invited by owners to come and experience the normal routine of the backside - even more facinating. Spectacular fall weather, the beautiful coiffed grounds of Arlington, the anticipation of a good race or in our case - a great daily workout, observed with great friends. It doesn't get much better.

A great place for everyone. It is kid friendly, safe and above all immaculate. All the latest in race track set uo, with betting in everyway you can imagine. In additio. It has track feeds fro. Around the country. The low end food is barely passabe, but it improves from there. Go to the restuarant if you want a r es al meal

Went to a racecourse for the first time and it was a fun experience. On Sunday they had activities for kids like a petting zoo and pony ride for free. You can get your own food. The entrance ticket is $10 per person.

Drinks are pricey, but you can bring in your own cooler & food for the afternoon. We'll definitely do that next time...had a fun day! 😊

A beautiful track set in the northern suburbs with so much green and energy to make any visit sublime if you love horses or excitment. Breakfast at Arlington is also great way to enjoy the park and see how the thoroughbreds go thru their morning paces. Held every first Sunday in summer, it's a great outing for the day.

This place was disgusting. Asked my dad for his ID after we went to a second city show. He’s 75. And didn’t take contactless payment. Can you please try to enter this modern century instead of be terrified of lawyers? Music, drinks and food was disgusting.

I never leave reviews, but I'm upset. I along with a few of my friends came here for a few drinks and dancing. Drinks were a little expensive, they had a cool light up dance floor, and the place was pretty well filled up. I was having a good time until there was a spilled drink on the dance floor and it wasn't cleaned promptly. The dance floor is an area that would be as slick as tile if it was wet, and it was. I didn't notice it until I was on the ground; I slipped and broke my wrist. I ended up needing surgery because of how bad it was. The entire club saw me fall and not one employee came to help me up or check if I was okay. As per law, the bar is responsible for keeping a clean and safe place to enjoy their establishment. I would've been happy to give 5 stars before my fall(due the the negligence of the staff not cleaning), but the lack of acknowledgement and empathy took a good experience and turned it horrible.

Are you aware that Arlington Alehouse keeps an IMAGE of your Driver's License? There's a subtle posting on their wall advising of it. Do you know what any common criminal can do with an image of your ID? It has your legal name, address, Date of Birth & License #...the keys to the kingdom of your life. Yet, A.Alehouse refuses to delete it when you leave, claiming they can't. This defintely benefits them in some way, yet puts our identity at risk. Once an image is captured, it is on the web forever. The guy who checks IDs has a little scanner to capture an image of it. Doesn't tell you he's doing it. I've been to 300+ restaurants/bars. No one has EvEr scanned my ID. Arlington Alehouse claims to delete it in 3 days. NO proof of that, no regulation. They could be selling our IDs "underground/dark web" for big $Bucks. Identity theft? Draining of your bank accounts? Mortgages taken out in your name? If you want that, go to Arlington Alehouse where you have no frickin' clue the REAL reason they copy your ID, or what they are Reeallly doing with it!

My husband and I came in on a Friday night around 7pm for a few drinks. It wasn’t crowded. There were 3 bartenders behind the bar. Our first drink was ordered promptly, but the bartenders were not paying any attention to us. Which is strange because there was basically no one at the bar. Instead, there were throwing ice and olives in the air trying to catch them, throwing ice at the bouncer and filling a plastic glove with olives and juice to play games and pranks with one another. We finally were able to get a second drink when the bar stocker or bus boy walked by us. At the end of the day it’s the bartenders missing out on their tips and money but the female bartenders were not attentive and frankly unprofessional.

I was there in December for a Christmas Party When my Husband and I left only his coat was still there. So don't where an expensive coat when you go there.

Really cool place above the Metro theatre. Great atmosphere, good beer selection, friendly service. But pricey, but that may be the norm for the area. Enjoyed the plentiful TV screens, a few classic arcade games, and shuffle board.

We saw Grease on the opening day and it was magical! Just an amazing show filled with wonderful acting, singing and oh oh the dancing! I was blown away by the talent and I want to thank them for putting a song in my heart and a skip in my step and taking me out to get absorbed into an amazing story! Loved it ❤️

Visited to see “The Christmas Carol” opening night and I loved every second of it! The lightning, the sound, the intimacy of the crowd… this theatre is one of the good ones! Parking was free for the show (not sure if it’s always like this), around a nice amount of food places in case you want to eat before or after the show, and they even have their own mini bar to get wine or beer during the show (I tried their red wine and it was nice for someone who doesn’t really drink wine!)

Grease cast was fantastic! we ate dinner next door at Mago and walked to the show. Bought a refreshment and headed in. Cozy seating intimate theater. So nice !!

I have been on hundreds of shows, but today actors played like never. Thank you for outstanding performence and art of play. Deeply enjoyed!

I've seen a couple of stage plays at this theater located in Arlington Heights, IL. Friendly service. However, I was ticketed $25 while I was parked in the parking garage, behind the theater for taking up multiple parks..??🤦‍♀ I unknowingly parked over my "parking space line by a smidgen!" So, be on alert if you park there.🙄

We hadn't been to this theater in a long while and pleased to see how new and updated it was. Perfect venue with no 'bad' seats. Located in the heart of the downtown restaurant district can make for a great night out.

Calm, serene and beautiful. Good for family with playground, fitness area, sensory garden. You can spot a variety of birds if you love bird watching and do fishing as well. It also has a 2 mile walk and cycling path around the lake.

Love this place. First time there today. Very nice walking trail, beautiful scenery, they even have a small workout spot which I found very unique as I havent seen that anywhere before. There are multiple things you can rent to go on the water which is awesome. No swimming is permitted though. They do have a park for the little ones as well as a concession center for your refreshments. Will definitely be back.

This is an amazing community resource! Beautiful 2 mile waking/biking path around the lake. Lots of birds, ducks and turtles. Great fishing spots on the shore or at the dock. Reasonably priced paddle boat rentals. The Boat House is open 10am to 6pm and has concessions and bathrooms too. Fantastic new playground with something for all ages. Adult workout equipment too. Opened August 2018.

Exceptional Mexican food!! The whole experience from start to finish was exceptional. The food was authentic and tasted amazing. The service was fun and engaging. The atmosphere was simple but delightful.

The salsas provided for the chips are excellent! The enchiladas were a little tangy and full of flavor. The banana flan was chefs kiss. I’d highly recommend!

I visited the restaurant based on the positive reviews and was looking forward to the food. I ordered the shrimp dish and the veggie fajitas, but unfortunately, shrimp dish were overwhelmingly salty—almost as if they were cooked with just salt and nothing else. It was late and the kids were hungry, so I decided not to send the food back. I’m sure the staff would have replaced the dishes if I had asked, but that would have meant waiting even longer at the restaurant, which just wasn’t practical at the time. So Thought to share the veggies fajitas with my wife. Disappointed, especially given the good feedback I had seen before coming.

We went on Saturday night - the guacamole is out of this world. However - couldn’t eat dinner we were so full. We were given an explanation of all the moles available and samples. All were thoroughly wonderful and very interesting. We returned on Sunday for the fajitas molectja. Highly recommended - very different presentation than regular fajitas but exceptional. We could not eat dessert but the churro cart with different dips looked amazing.

The vibes here was amazing! Got the mago salad with grilled chicken! Very flavorful and well seasoned. The fajita steak was also flavorful and melted in my mouth. Definitely worth it for the experience . The waiter was also nice and helped us pick between the dishes when we asked questions. Very knowledgeable. Will be back again for sure

I had a taco salad which consisted of a pile of black beans and a pile of Spanish rice stuffed into a taco shell. There was a bit of shredded lettuce on top of the rice pile. And your "tableside" guacamole was pathetic. Looked good, but tasted poor. Ingredients were not fresh. My version of this is much better. I have had so much better taco salads elsewhere, and the one I make at home is 10 times better: Romaine, heated refried beans, queso fresco, chopt fresh tomatoes, chopt fresh green onions, black olives, chopt fresh cilantro, sliced fresh avocado on top. Delicious! And yours cost $12 for the pile of black beans and Spanish rice. We did not order any drinks. I would not waste my money here again!

Very bad service, really. The food was very good and the waitress, Esteffi, was very friendly and cheerful. This is our second time here, and the first time, the manager, Sergio, gave me a very bad vibes because of the way he spoke to the employees. This time, my two friends and I went, and we felt extremely uncomfortable. He kept staring at us in an inappropriate way. He came by our table three times. I found this exaggerated, intense, and annoying. He looked at us in a way that made us feel uncomfortable as women. So we decided to go somewhere else and just paid for the appetizers and drinks and left. Be very careful with him, don't trust him.

Wayne's pizza is a hit or miss. Maybe it just depends on who is making the pizza that day? Over the last year, I feel like the quality in their pizza has decreased. This place used to be 5 stars for me. The last two pizzas we've ordered have been hard to eat/chew because of how hard the dough is...

Had my heart set on ordering a pizza with thick crust for dinner. There is no information (or pictures) online to explain the different crusts options. Let this be your info you may be looking for! I was quite confident that when I ordered 'double crust' that I would be content. There was zero difference between what I received and the thin crust I also ordered for my kids. Needless to say I was entirely disappointed. Spoke to Niko on the phone and was told I was wrong because he remembers making it. Apparently what I know about double crust (at nearly every other pizza place) or crust at all is wrong. Will no longer be a Wayne's customer. Dinner disappointment.

It took almost 2 hours for my delivery, also no dipping sauce for the poppers. Very disappointed didn't offer a discount cause they made a mistake. They need to do a better job, use to be a great pizza place

Best PIZZA SAUCE hands down. Others are too sweet and too much cinnamon. Waynes LEVELED it. I was born and raised in Rogers Park and am a foodie, and when it comes to pizza I try The Sauce FIRST. When I moved to Arlington Heights saw Waynes go in ask for the sauce, try it, and order an extra-large right there. Sausage cooked to perfection crust crunchy ALL The way around. Awesome Pizza and service. Try to order the pizza online. Apparently didn't go through found out when I got there so they retook my order and brought Pizza out to me in the parking lot hot and fresh and it did not disappoint. It's not easy to find real good pizzeria style pizza I found it here and will be coming back in the future thank you for your service.

This is my all time favorite pizza. I’ve been in NY/NJ/PA now for twenty years. The first thing I do is go to Waynes when I hit Arlington Heights. I’ve never eaten there though.

Olive Garden continues to be a great family-friendly restaurant. Their salad is phenomenal—definitely the best dish they offer. The calamari and mozzarella sticks are also quite good. However, we were not as impressed with the pasta dishes today. Both the fettuccine and the chicken and broccoli Alfredo, as well as the cheese ravioli, were bland and needed extra salt to enhance the flavor. While it’s usually a reliable choice for family meals, the Italian dishes didn’t meet our expectations this time.

We went on a weekend so it was busy especially it was around 3 pm , the waiting was about 7 minutes. The service was nice and friendly, But one of the main dishes came with a hair in the food, it s in the picture coming out of a shrimp, they replaced the whole dish for us . The taste of the food was good but not great.Unfortunately when i checked the receipt they charged us for playing some games on the tablet that they leave on every table, they charged $3 for less than 5 minutes my son used it. So if you have children don’t let them play with this tablet. Overall I won’t go there again and i don’t recommend it especially with their prices.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. A decomposing, rotting bug was found in the salad. I would not recommend this particular location due to overall uncleanliness, unprofessionalism, and lack of composure. The entirety of our meal we were stressed by our waitress and left unfulfilled and unsatisfied by the resolutions that took place. There were stains on napkins, old stale bread, and syrup on plates. Overall, one of the worst dining experiences in my lifetime left with a large bill.

My first time inside of this establishment, and sorry to say it will be my last time. The salad was great the first day I was allowed to eat! I have never had a salad that turned brown the first night out!!!:Out of all my years eating at Olive Garden Italian Restaurant since 1992!!!! Let that sink in first! This is hard to phantom! This is unacceptable too! Would you eat a salad that is brown only after one night? I will continue ONLY to eat at the SCHAUMBURG location.

Can't prove it, but I think they molested my order. What's terrifying is that I was there with my family of 4 small children and my wife. Who does that, and why? I'm up at 1:30am hitting the bathroom again and all I had yesterday was OG for lunch. The scallops in the seafood alfredo were definitely the fishyest I've ever tasted. Feels like knives in my abdomen all night.

The service and atmosphere was nice. We had a very nice waitress. I was treated for my birthday lunch. However I was disappointed with my meal. I ordered the Cheese filled Ravioli with meat sauce. The dish was way too salty for my liking and I didn't want to take it back. The salad and bread sticks were good. Not sure if I would go back.

Good variety of food. I like their kid's meal options too. They served us quickly as well. Their salad/soup are always tasty.

My absolute fave brunch spot ever and I’m not even a breakfast person Savory > sweet always, but they seriously kill it at both. You need the spicy habanero cheese + pico hash browns (extra crispy!!) and the crispy crunch French toast I also always get the bagel w/ cream cheese, I know it’s basic, but the whipped cream cheese just hits The service here is also so great and it’s always packed so some with extra time but worth the wait!

We ordered the omelette, lemon pancakes, crepe and other sides. My favorite was definitely the crepe it had spinach and paired perfectly with the sour cream. The omelette was pretty mediocre and the lemon pancakes were good but I expected them to be fluffier. The potato pancakes that came out as a side reminded me of korean style potato pancakes (감자전). What I really loved about this place was the decoration and the interior, with vintage vibe.

Amazing staff! Our waiter was really nice and patient! The cooks and bus boys were great always attentive because I am very needy and they were awesome! Big place a lot of room for people we did have to wait but no more then 5 minutes for a busy Sunday morning big parking a lot of spots to choose from bathroom is clean food was great coffee was nice and strong Definitely coming back here to try their crepes

Had a lovely brunch here! The omelette and pancakes were absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Our server, though elderly, was incredibly attentive, kind, and made the experience feel genuinely warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Some of the best pancakes I have had- the buckwheat had a depth of flavour without loosing the fluffyness. The buttermilk were good too. I loved that you could order a half portion

I visited here on a certain day in September 2025. My wife ordered a cup of coffe and a French toast. I ordered a cup of tea and Chicken teriyaki Sandwich. Those were always good. The staffs were very kind and polite every time. That's why we come here. We also like the other branch in Lke Zurich.

Walker Bros is an amazing breakfast restaurant, everything is delicious, but my favorites are the German Pancake, Potato pancake, and Bacon. The Coffee is also great, served with heavy creamer. Service is outstanding, they are very friendly and attentive, the entire team are nice poeple that make you feel welcome. The Ambiance of the place is cute, it feels like someplace you want to eat breakfast, very clean also, I mention this because it shows the pride they take in running the place. Go and find out for yourself, and make sure you like my post afterward, you will love it if you are looking for incredible breakfast food.

Jameson's Original Charhouse in Arlington Heights, IL Jameson’s Original Charhouse has a timeless, old-style charm that pairs beautifully with the live music, making it an ideal spot for a romantic night out. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a classic steakhouse vibe that’s hard to find these days. I ordered a steak medium, and while most of it was cooked properly, the portion closer to the bone was unfortunately undercooked and nearly raw. I also requested the blue cheese crust, which was initially missing but added later upon request. Despite this hiccup, the flavor and quality of the food were good, especially considering the price point. Service was excellent attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the evening. Overall, it's a solid dining experience if you're looking for a traditional setting with good value, but make sure to clearly communicate how you want your steak cooked to avoid any surprises.

Food was delicious, my partner and I enjoyed everything that was served even before the main course. It was near closing time and was the only place on our way back that had kitchen open so I appreciate the complete service from our waitress that night. She was very kind and did not make us feel rushed (unlike many other restaurants unfortunately). We apologized for being there later in the day but saw no issue, extremely kind lady. We appreciated her service, lovely lady.

The place is really nice inside, it smelled like lobster. Drool. Service was really fast, friendly and attentive. I thought the dresscode was going to be strict, it's not. You can wear jeans here etc. My steak was cooked perfectly. I really enjoyed it. The portions are quite large. Can't wait to return and try more food! Parking is spacious.

I've been here several times and the food is always reliably good, the service and staff are welcoming and the portions generous. First time I tried a yummy patty melt burger with a toasted rye bun, tons of grilled onions 🌰 and sides of baked potato 🥔 and chicken soup. They serve you a fresh, heated roll of bread 🍞 and there was no way for me to finish everything so I saved half for my dog and me for later. Patrick was my server and he kept checking in on me to make sure I had everything I needed. I also did a couple of take out orders here of French fries 🍟 which are cut thick and are steak fries and a loaded baked potato 🥔 with everything on it. Tonight I sat outside with my dog and Patrick suggested I order the Gold brick ice cream dessert 🍨 which is vanilla ice cream completely encased in hardened chocolate 🍫 with whipped cream on top. It reminded me of a dairy cream dessert with the hardened, crunchy chocolate 🍫 shell. I don't understand the 1 star ratings that other customers left here. Every time I order anything here everything is freshly made, tasty and served with care and smiles.

The bartender was pleasant and engaging. He offered up great suggestions. I ordered the parmesan crusted pork chops. Was a large portion, enough for two meals. Drinks were great. One thing that I didn't care for was that the restaurant was very dark. Other than that, a great experience.

My friends and I stopped by. We are from out of town, and we just wanted music and drinks. The vibe has potential. We were there at 12:30 am on a Friday night. Staff is great and we found lots of things we liked about it, there were just no people. We wondered if it was just this night or if it's always like that. We didn't eat the food. 2 drinks will run you near $20.

This review is based mainly on the bar service and overall atmosphere as we attended a School of Rock Glenbrook show. Sound was great and plenty of seating options . Very spacious...did not feel over crowded. Extensive beer selection as well as a full service bar Great service. Would definitely go back to try their a few items off their food menu and maybe hear live music.

The establishment closes at 3 am on weekends, with last call at 2:15 am. My husband stepped outside briefly but was told by security and the bar manager that he couldn't re-enter, even though another female customer did so without issues. This policy seems unfair and may need to be reconsidered.

We were turned away due to face tattoos- both me and my partner met the dress code- he has face tattoos because we are TATTOO ARTISTS! This is how we make our money- none of his tattoos are gang related ! We feel extremely discriminated against… DONT COME HERE.

Went on a Tuesday night. Bar had 7-8 customers. Bartender brought food menus and brought me a drink. Took 15 min of waiting for bartender to stop talking to 1 set of customers to come back around to get my food order. Burger was amazing. Bartender came back around 1 other time to check on me until I asked for my check.

Trashy food. Cold and tasteless. Best thing in this place was the bathroom. GM will claim there is no racism because he is Black… as if that’s supposed to mean anything. It’s Arlington Heights, you take a guess as to who they were mainly catering to. Witnessed many people be turned away even tho the bar was fairly dead…. Maybe let them in… Bartender charged a the card after explicitly stating I’d like to pay with a different card. Seemed like she was in a rush to get out of that place… Most of the people in there were at the slot machines of which they had very few.

Fun place! Attended an event here for JK Entertainment and the staff really took care of the group.

Out here from Cleveland to visit a friend that recommended Portillo's. The food and service was excellent! Love the Italian beef sandwich! Also liked the Chicago dog as well! There was a little mishap with my order being lost, however they were dedicated to making it right and even offered a complimentary slice of cake. So excellent service as well!

12/14/2024 4:00 pm Diego was the man tonight! This was my first visit to this location. Customer service was great at the order station, but it was even better at the pick-up station. This location was very neat and clean. It was moderately busy, and I noticed quite a few people were leaving with large trays of food. I'm assuming people were eating real good at home tonight.

Dear Portillo’s Customer Care, I am writing about a troubling experience at your at this location. The manager ignored me and repeatedly claimed not to understand me, which left my needs unmet. I did not receive items I expected and the manager stopped engaging with me. I’d like: an apology, assurance of better, patient communication with customers who have language barriers, and a clear process to ensure orders are completed correctly and addressed quickly.

I had been told this is one of those "must visit" places when visiting Chicago. I would definitely agree: you need to go here while in Chicago! We tried the Italian Beef sandwich, the combo (Italian Beef + Sausage), Hot Dog, Double Burger, Bacon Cheeseburger, fries, and onion rings. The Italian Beef was pretty good, but the Combo was where this place shines. The combination of Italian Beef and the sausage was very good. While I didn't personally taste the burgers, they looked good and I was told by those who did taste them that they WERE good! The fries were pretty good (crinkle cut fries), and the onion rings were good. Overall the food was good, the service was good, and this is a place that is definitely worth a visit!

Today we held a bday dinner for my gmas 95th bday. The lady manager and her staff were so patient, helpful and cooked our food to perfection. My Grandma LOVES portillos so having it there was perfect. We appreciate all the staff did for us. Thank you!! We also loved there was options for many dietary needs including vegetarian!

The hotdog was great today. I got a hotdog with everything small fry and a small drink. The hotdog was fresh. The bun was very soft and fresh with poppy seeds, the hotdog was well steamed. The vegetables were very fresh. I didn’t really taste the celery salt this time, but everything was very goodjust the exact amount of mustard.

We've noticed a perceptible decline over the last 8 months, in food quality, service and especially in the ability to get an order correct. The portion size and quality of food just isn't the same. If you ask 3 staff members questions you'll get 4 different answers.

Quality was pretty middle of the road. Serving sizes were much smaller than expected, and they were really skimpy with the proteins. Definitely overpaid here and wouldn’t recommend it Service was good. The vibe was nice, but if you’re looking for good sushi this ain’t it.

High quality sushi. Very good fish to rise ratio. Fresh ingredients and fast service. Very nice atmosphere, and decor. Highly recommend, sit down drink teaor beer and enjoy. Tables were clean and seating was unique. So far this is my favorite place to get sushi.

Cozy, peaceful little restaurant. Traditional sushi and sashimi as well as many creative rolls. My favorite is the Mago roll, which has kind of a Mexican take with jalapeño and crispy soy chips on top and a spicy sauce. Great Ramen bowls, as well as more protein forward dishes, like chicken, beef or salmon teriyaki. Nice selection of appetizers and an interesting cocktail menu (the yuzu margarita is delicious). They also have beer and wine. Friendly service.

My new favorite sushi destination in Arlington Heights! Excellent service, food was delish and so fresh. Ordered the seaweed salad, Shake-n-Bake roll, Godzilla, and Salmon Blossom roll... can't wait to go back and try more items from the menu.

The best sushi, we’ve ever ate! My wife’s 1st sushi meal after being pregnant:) Truffle roll is smth unreal. We will be definitely coming back. Food 11/10, service 10/10, atmosphere 10/10! If you looking for great place, don’t think & come here.

Came with friends over the weekend and immediately noticed the interior and ownership have changed. Unfortunately, the sushi has gone downhill. The maki portions were tiny, overly creamy, and ridiculously overpriced. The taste was nothing like it used to be, which was very disappointing. Service was excellent, but that alone doesn’t justify the cost. For what I paid, I will not be coming back.

Service was great and fast, pretty quiet on a weekday. Food was decent just a little bland, although I've had better at some other Japanese Steak Houses. Standard menu offering a little bit of everything. $10 big boy Sapporo's is nice.

First off the service was great .Now for the bad went there for my daughter anniversary. All four of us ordered differently for dinner Food was just ok at best .All four of us had severe diarrhea for 2 days. Will never go back. Foodie be aware while the show is awesome the food will give you the worst diarrhea of your life. Please don't go here. Once about 5 years ago they were good .but sadly they have gone way down hill. The noodles were extremely greasy .

Some of us went there with our famies the other day. The food is not bad. The chef was pretty good. The waitress did not come around very often, especially when it came time for the dessert. It took approximately 10 minutes for her to show up. Also the place is somewhat dated and lacks any type of authenticity regarding hibachi style ambiances.

Like in a usual hibachi grill, the cooking was always fun and entertaining. But the food was good but not really tasty. It was flavored with soy sauce and oyster sauce and thats it. We drove 10 miles to come here and try their food. I would say it was the on the spot cooking that made the experience.

Great food, heat value and very entertaining to watch! This is a great place to go to for special occasions but I also just go for an ordinary dinner frequently!

Then you get 9ce cream too! I was beyond full and excited I have left overs for lunch the following day! My to go was so full, along with my stomach. They have some fun speciality cocktails too which others at the table couldn't resist a second, I suck to Kiren- a tradition at hibachi for me. Now, our chef! Kevin--what a hoot, he totally made the meal 200x times better, we were nothing but laughs and jokes the entire time he was making dinner! I have never seen the onion volcano the way he displayed it. He lit the 🔥 from corner of the grill and moved to the volcano, what a show!!! Absolutely have to say THIS place knows what their doing! Highly recommend to anyone in the area, we were just traveling for work. More than worth the 15 minute drive, and beyond worth every penny!

Had my daughter's bday party here for 2 groups of 11 yo's (boys vs girls), and they had the best time!! Staff is very professional and friendly, and the rooms were clever and just the right of difficulty! Although one group didn't escape, the other one did and they were so proud of their teamwork! We will be back!!

So much fun! Very cool. Our first time and we didn't know what to expect. Thank God for hints otherwise we might not have finished! Such a great story and so much information in the room, makes you think outside the box :) We will be back to do more!

We love this place...we will definitely be back! We had a lot of fun in "US Customs: Entry Denied" and were able to figure our way out with 1 second to spare. Unfortunately, we were about 20-30 secs away from solving "10 Minutes to Heaven". Maybe next time...

Maddy and Em were our instructors and wow! They made this experience so fun that we're already planning to come back! One suggestion the only reason this isn't 5 stars : the tip when booking the classes get split between the entire staff and not just to the instructors who are showing us what to do! BRING CASH TO TIP YOUR INSTRUCTORS. It's not fair that it gets split between everyone, when not everyone is there instructing us.

I was looking for a place to try the wheel pottery and finally I found it. I really liked the wheel workshop. The instructor was very nice and helpful. He showed us how to make a bowl step by step. Then after we finished making our bowls - they let us paint it the way we want. I really enjoyed this experience. Perfect place for a group gathering, birthdays etc

Visited for the first time with my baby to make holiday hand print crafts. I did not have a great plan ahead of time but the staff was so friendly and helpful. They really exceeded my expectations! Our plates turned out beautifully and will be great gifts/keepsakes.

I went this weekend with a group of friends and we had a fantastic time. The staff/instructors were great and it was such a great way to try something new!

I went here for an event for mothers Day. Park is small with a small playground which was very crowded and easy for kids to get bored. It has bathrooms that are limited to open only on events, which is a downside. The event itself was okay. Got some free items. It was only 3 hours long. I had waited in a line for the face painting, which had a line through the whole park and was very slow. One of the volunteers eventually told me they weren't taking any more people after the person in front of me, and I had people wating behind me as well. What a waste of time. The only nice thing about this park is the fountain.

I go with my wife every year during this time of year, the park is beatifully decorated for Chritsmas, it was cero cold when we visited it, I recomend to go see it before they take the decorations down, there were no snow on the date that we were there, but with the snow it will look even better

Quick walk through the park after dinner at Javiers. It was cute with a few Holiday lightup displays & photo opportunities.

This is a beautiful park! We were there for a political rally so I didn't notice any amenities, but they have a parking lot that is handicap accessible. Great location!

This is a quaint little park right by the Arlington Heights Library, normally there is a lot of space before Christmas they decorate and add several displays. The display looks great at night time if you ever have a chance to see them

It's a small park. But there is a playground for little kids with two swings, 3 slidres ,and a sandbox. In summer it has a very exciting festival for kids and many music concerts. There are many beautiful flowers and a fountain in spring and a big Christmas tree and other decorations in winter.

Cute little park that holds big events. There is plenty of shade, water fountains, small playground for younger kids, restrooms, stage for concerts.

I love the bookmobile super easy and it comes to you. I visited the branch location and normally use the drive thru to pick up and drop off books but inside is really nice. It has a really nice selection for kids. Everything from graphic novels to big picture books for toddlers. A great selection of Nintendo switch games for my son which saves me money ($59.99 to be exact) . He only plays it for about a week then he's done with the game. It's always clean and not busy. Great place to get homework done or get the kids out of the house away from screens.

My favorite library partially due to all the amenities: classes, events, media, books, library of things, online resources, access to discounted or free museums, the gorgeous updates over the years. The other bit is the nostalgia of coming every Wednesday with my grandma and volunteering with the summer reading program. Thankful the dollhouse is still in kids world but I miss the water fountain/wall by check-out.

Found our favorite author, Melissa Albert, in Teen Picks. Today, the library had a cool 'comic con' like event. Always fun here.

Who knew I would ever be so excited by a library? I've lived in major metro areas, a couple of mid-sized burbs, but this place takes the cake...or at least the cookbook. The free classes, seminars, media center, and the extremely patient and tolerant staff make this a great place for work, leisure, and general mind expansion. Almost makes me happy to pay taxes in Arlington Heights:)

I absolutely love the Arlington Heights library. There's an excellent variety of programming and it's always of great quality. I am a huge fan of the staff recommendation section and have found many excellent books thanks to it. I cannot recommend this library highly enough.

Two of the staff members were very very friendly to only certain individuals. It’s crazy it was as if they were trying to get a reaction from me. I just simply ignored them! No matter how much they wanted to make sure I noticed. They totally did it on purpose. How sad did those two individuals look after not getting the reaction they wanted so badly! Too grown for the bull 😡😢 I was just there trying to enjoy with my grandkids

I came in with my mom to record my nationally syndicated radio show/podcast and could only get the room if we used her library card (which I get.) I am originally from Arlington Heights and lived here from 1993-2014. I came to this library every day back in the 2000s. But the guy said my mom had to be in the room. It's very hard to record something with someone next to me. You could of at least said she just needs to stay in the library. I mean seriously bro? It's not that serious. I get you are following the rules but get over yourself.

Glad we stopped here on our way home. Food is excellent, especially the orange chicken. Sushi lunch special was a good deal. Server was really nice as well. We appreciate that they accommodate for gluten free. I like that the lights are dim, the vibe is nice and relaxing.

Ordered for delivery. Gotta say, food is really good. Could have been delivered warmer since it's only under 2 mile distance, but, food is very good. Pot stickers are awesome, so is the seaweed salad with apples, fried rice and orange chicken. Good job!

The food was fantastic - the beef chow fun tasted just like I had at home growing up! While the ambience and service speed both leave a little something to be desired, I will be back. I dined with a friend who is GF and the server was attentive to our needs. Extremely good value (quality AND quantity of food for price) and it's a small business so yay for that!

Overall we like this place and we order quite a bit (delivery) and also tip very well but as of late I haven't been very happy. The rolls are getting smaller and smaller so we ask for extra filling. We're fine paying extra but our last order (for what it cost) was unacceptable. We order the larger or Signature rolls and what we received last time was totally unacceptable. My bad but should have taken a picture and shown the bill for what we actually received. Sad that Jin 28 closed on Rand -- their portions were very large and moderately priced. Bistro should give us either free delivery or a roll next time.

Wonderful restaurant. They can make any dish gluten free, with the exception of 3 dishes. They were very accommodating for my kids with gluten and sesame sensitivity. The rolled ice cream was fantastic too, according to my kids.

The waiter is really nice, and made sure to fit my mother’s food needs (allergies) and overall the food was great. Sushi has a good slice with the paring of rice. My brother’s bento box was also good. And the atmosphere was just bit to dim, made us sleepy by the end.

We had Japanese noodles and Korean BBQ noodles, and they were fine.

My first time here. We ordered my daughter a kids meal and a side of rigatoni and mentioned her allergies (dairy and egg). When we got home, we noticed drops of cheese sauce inside the container. So much for an allergy notice. We had to throw it away.

Hugo, Gianna, J.M. and the whole team always seem to get it right. They're detailed about the gluten-free/friendly options whereas some other places seem frustrated by my allergic concerns. Seems every time I come in, the staff is happy...and not the fake customer-service type of happy. Now if only you can do something about the throngs of teenagers that swarm the place... Bless your noodles!

The food was good. I have ordered 3 dishes and number one was pad thai. Number two penne rosa with parmesan cheese and the last but not least was mac & cheese. Service was fast and I was waiting around 7-8 minutes for my to go order.

Great food, if you can wait :30 minutes. Clearly understaffed vs. the volume of takeout orders flowing in on a Saturday night. Store visitors come second.

My daughter and I went to this location. Food was good. Staff was friendly. We will eat here again.

This was our first visit to this particular franchise location. We went after a family event for a relaxing lunch and it was a really nice experience! We were immediately greeted in a friendly manner and were helped and served quickly. The layout of the restaurant is nice and has an outdoor area for dining, unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate today. The food was very good as it always is, it was cooked exactly as ordered and was made in a short amount of time. My only real complaint was the lack of available chopsticks which we were told are currently out of stock and on backorder. The lighting and seating area overall is quite nice. We will return to this location. I recommend it!

The worst thai food we have ever had and worst dining experience in general. I strongly advise to stay away from this place if you don’t want get sick or simply disappointed. We entered the place on Saturday’s afternoon and was completely empty. We were one and only clients but the servers still didn't pay attention to us. The waitress gave us a face and didn’t even asked how we liked the food. But she had no problem with asking for a tip. Silverware was dirty and gross. But still - food was the worse, absolutely disgusting. Both tofu and shrimp dishes were simply soaked in the oil or some of fatty sauce and overstuffed with soy sauce. Egg in pad thai was smelly. We are still amazed how servers can be that rude and careless. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my enemy. Not really sure if inedible pad thai is worth almost $18. I regret that I didn’t speak to the manager.

Used to Be one of the best Thai Restaurant in the NW Suburbs. But recently, the service has gone down, food doesn’t taste as it used to and has gotten quite expensive. Not the same anymore.

I ordered pickup from Gumrai for dinner, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The staff was rude and dismissive from the moment I walked in. When I politely asked for dry chili that was already on the table, I was told it’s “only for dine-in customers.” That’s ridiculous — I had just spent money there, but was still treated like I didn’t matter. On top of that, the attitude of the person at the counter made the whole pickup unpleasant. If a restaurant can’t provide basic courtesy and fairness to paying customers, it doesn’t deserve loyalty. The food was nothing special, definitely not worth the disrespect. I won’t be ordering from Gumrai again and don’t recommend it to anyone looking for good food and decent service.

We went to Gumrai Thai for dinner on Labor day. The place was not crowded. There was only 1 server, but she was quite efficient. We had to wait for some time,but its understandable! Food made up for it! We had fried tofu and egg rolls as starter. I would have preferred peanut sauce with the fried tofu, instead of soy sauce (which it came with). But it was very good. We had green curry with rice, and basil fried rice, both were very flavorful. Overall, a very good experience!

We went there on a Friday afternoon around 6 pm. Was my husband birthday and we wanted to celebrate in this restaurant, because we always had a great time there and the food never fail. But this time, didn't get a greeting, had to wait like 15 min till a young lady came to our table. She was young unexperienced, didn't introductive herself, asked if we would like drinks gave us the meniu and again came after 15 min to take our order. We wanted to leave, but hubby wanted so bad his usual food that we stayed. I do have to give them credit that they were short of staff , but still manged to serve the pick ups and the guests. Anyway no happy birthday to my hubby, we got our appetizer chicken sate, then after 25 min wait our main meniu which came out different timing mine and hubby's. We went to celebrate, but was like an ordinary dinner with a lot of frustration. This is not a complain, just a description about what happened. Normally we go there not just for food, but because they used to be nice with us, looks like not anymore. Not a good memory.

From the Appetizer “Crab 🦀 Rangoon” to the Yummiest Soup you for sure missing out..! Called Yum Thai Soup. Everything we ordered was exceptionally very way up to the mark..! This family owned restaurant is one of the best Thai Restaurants I have been. The food portion is very very very generous portions. The flavour is up to the mark on every bite. First time here. Our server was very nice. Very welcoming. We went early for dinner so at that time they were not busy. But people started coming in and the place started getting busy. Service was fast. Ambiance is nice and very quite place with cute decor. We order tom yum soup with tofu. It was yummy. Loved the taste. Edamame were good. Pad Kee Mao spicy were the best. Were not that spicy as much as i expected but they were good. Green curry was good and spicy. Will definitely come back. Restrooms- very clean.

I hadn't been to Javier's for several years, I had forgotten what a nice place it is. Great service, wide selection on the menu, good ambiance, and darn tasty margaritas. If you haven't been here before, you will find this to be far more authentic Mexican food than the other trendy places in downtown Arlington Heights. Javier's has been here a lot longer than the other guys. They put the attention and quality into their food rather than the latest trend. Visited again today, consistent excellence continues. The margaritas were so good that we needed an extra round, the tacos were fresh and seasoned to perfection! 2/3/2023 - another visit, another great experience! We've decided margaritas taste better when ordered by the pitcher! The food was awesome too, but on a Friday afternoon it's really all about the drinks!

We went there for a graduation dinner party of 20, and everyone left happy and full. The food was absolutely delicious, as usual it was my 4th time back. I ordered the 3 items combination plate A steak chimichanga chicken taco & beef enchilada My daughter got the chicken fajitas dinner and my friend got the steak and shrimp. I got the mango margarita frozen. It was fantastic, made perfectly and smooth. They make guacamole tableside on the spot fresh and customizable for if you like. The staff is extremely friendly helpful and attentive.

Food was very good ! Will definitely be coming back. Staff is very welcoming and nice . Great indoor and outdoor seating. Loved the chicken enchiladas. I would say thus place has the best enchiladas. Salsa was good, could have been a little better.

I came here with my wife here Sunday. Service was great but the food was terrible!! I had enchiladas and my wife had steak tacos. The enchiladas and steak tacos were bland no flavor. The Mexican rice was bland as well. Sauce on the enchiladas looked like it came out of a can!!!! I was very disappointed in this place. The service was the best part of the experience!!!

My husband and I were going to eat here last night but we decided elsewhere due to the homeless person sitting on the bench with tons of bags right next to the restaurant. We wanted to have a nice dinner outside and take in the ambiance but this deterred us. I understand it’s not Javier’s fault but just left a bad taste for the atmosphere.

Went in on a Friday afternoon and let me say the place is a nice looking restaurant my wife and I were planning to o try it for the first time on our anniversary. Thank God we didn’t. Start with the good. The server was polite. Chips and salsa were brought out quick and the salsa while having some spice was really good. That’s the last of the good. I ordered a ground beef burrito. With the sauce and cheese. Top down. The cheese tasted just like valveeta cheese and the cheese was hard and tough before I even was half way though my burrito. The enchilada sauce tasted exactly like the sauce out of the can. And I’ve eaten a lot of can enchilada sauce. The ground beef had no flavor and was oddly colored. The rice was still hard with certain bites. I would never order this again. My son’s quesadilla was literally burger cheese squares on tortilla. He wouldn’t even eat it. His fries were fries. My wife ordered some steak sandwich that she gets everywhere and she hated it. Steak was burnt with no flavor. The bathrooms while I will say had one stall out of order literally smelled like a UTI and a diarrhea floor of a terrible nursing home I almost threw up. I’m highly disappointed and extremely upset that I had to write a bad review but for the prices you’re better off going to Taco Bell and I don’t think I’ve ever recommended Taco Bell over somewhere that claims to have authentic Mexican food.

Great place for some Mexican food! Staff are on it. Always helping and friendly. Large indoor seating and several outside options for outside as well. My family typically orders the chicken tacos which are always good. The enchiladas are a must order as well. @food_from_the_usa

Arlington Lakes Golf Club’s a gem! Saturday’s 7:20am tee time zipped along, course in top shape—short but spicy with lakes on most holes ⛳. Monday league’s a blast, new routing shines, though holes 2 & 18’s water quirks test you. Duck poop on paths a drag 🦢. Can’t wait to swing here again!

Course plays fine, lack of management/cart girl/Rangers on a Saturday afternoon. 90 degrees and no cart girl, groups of 6 playing together with group or 4 they know behind them. They all group up to play a group of 10 on the 8th/9th hole with 0 regard for the massive pile up behind them. Called the club house and they said "we will send out a ranger and break it up". No ranger was ever sent out. Loved playing this course in the past but will never return, spend your money elsewhere.

Pretty grounds. Staff was great. Liked having access to the balcony and bar-- allowed guests to spread out. Reasonable price

I drove on Friday (3/14) but unfortunately it's still closed. Posted sign said open mid March, date depends on the weather. Best to call ahead before you travel.

This place was better then I thought it would be

I live near by and without a season pass for the pool it is cheaper to have my child go to mt. prospect with friends then for them to come here. The life guards are Good though. I thought This was the pool with the best swim instructors. I like that this isn't just 1 pool and that's it! Great area to have a picnic. Tennis courts have lights at night. The hill is a Great and not crowded sled hill!

Cool park with basketball, tennis, volleyball courts and some more. Artificial hill with wood. Rabbits all around.

I love this park! It has almost everything you would want in a suburban park: a big swimming pool, playground for the kids, tennis courts, basketball courts, sand volleyball, baseball fields, enough open space for soccer games, a sledding hill, and two ice skating areas in the winter. They put up a wall around the sand volleyball court in the winter for an outdoor hockey rink and they also usually flood the area just south of the tennis courts for ice skating. The sidewalk around the park makes an excellent jogging circuit and I always feel safe even when running at night.

First time here, at a kindergarten baseball game. Really nicely maintained field and grounds generally. Didn't visit the pool, but noticed it has higher diving boards than some of the other park district pools.

This park has been crucial to us during covid times. It's a halfway point between us and my family so they can come visit the grandkids safely outside at a safe and clean park with about ever amenity you could ask for in a park. Will visit for years to come.

Great neighborhood park that is close to the many residents that live in the area. From swimming in the summer to sledding in the winter, there's alot to do. The walking path is great.

Wonderful day spent at the pool. There is a diving well, main pool with a zero depth entrance area, splash pad and toddler pool. Very clean, with focused lifeguards.

The courts are in a very beautiful park, but very much need surface repair. Lots of cracks and uneaven surfaces. Hoping the AHPD has this in their capital improvement budget.

Ample open space to exercise. But only when nice weather is expected

Beautiful park with cute fountain. You can relax here & read your favourite novel on provided benches.

The gym is really nice. I wish they had daycare so I could bring the kids with too but overall I’m very happy that we joined.

The registration process for children's camps discriminates against working families, it opens during working hours on a weekday and everything fills up immediately. You can't count on the park district at all as a family with two working parents. It could be solved with a simple lottery with some reasonable registration window, but instead they survey the families who already benefit from the process and leave it intact. The parks are nice, too bad the signup process is a disaster.

Summer of 2016 myself and four young people went to all park locations in Arlington Heights. Some were facilities and we would walk in and ask for a tour. We were never turn down! Sometimes we would get lost trying to locate one and whoever answered the phone at the park district office would give us directions and landmarks. Great experience I highly recommend
