Cape May County Park & Zoo is a sprawling green space that houses over 500 creatures and offers free admission. The park is surrounded by various attractions such as championship golf courses, fine dining options, boating, kayaking, saltwater fishing, and bird sanctuaries. It's also in close proximity to popular landmarks like the Cape May Point Lighthouse and Wildwood's famous boardwalks. Additionally, the area is known for its numerous golf courses catering to both beginners and seasoned players.
I’ve visited Cape May Zoo with my baby three times in the past two months, and I’ve absolutely fallen in love with this place! ❤️ I travel 150 miles one way just to come here, and it’s always worth it. The zoo has so much open space, plenty of animals, and never feels cramped; you can see how happy and relaxed the animals are. ✅ The elevated walkover to see the bison, giraffes, and zebras is the best spot in the zoo; a must-see for everyone! The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of space for kids to play outside with swings and slides; my little one loved it! The huge parking lot, picnic tables, and shaded trees make the outside as enjoyable as the inside. ✅ Restrooms are available at several spots inside and outside the zoo. ✅ And the best part; it’s completely free entry for everyone! Truly one of the best family-friendly spots we’ve discovered. Highly recommend! 🌟

Cape may zoo is a great place for family fun. Let me start off by saying that the admission is free. As you enter the gates you will be greeted by a team member and offered any advice you need and a map for your convenience. It is here that you can make a donation of your choosing. There are also boxes that you can drop your donation in if you wish to do it that way. Cape May zoo is a non-profit organization so please be generous! This zoo has so much to offer! There is so much to see including lions, prime mates, giraffes, capybara‘s, red pandas, reptiles, and so much more! All the animals look healthy and well cared for. The grounds are spotless. There are places to rest and even grab a bite to eat inside the zoo as well as covered picnic areas and a huge playground for the kids near the parking area. You can literally spend an entire day there for a donation! Our family has people from ages 7 thru their 80’s and we all had a wonderful experience. Go! You won’t be disappointed

I came here with my family on vacation in the area. Honestly this is one of the best zoos we've ever been to, and it was free?! There are a ton of different animals to see here, and many of them we were able to get closer and see better than at other zoos I've been to. The park is large enough to accommodate all the habitats but small enough to walk around and see everything in a couple of hours. It wasn't too crowded and everyone visiting was in good spirits. The animals all appeared healthy, happy, and relaxed in their enclosures. We loved seeing them. We drove about an hour to come to the zoo and it was well worth the effort. We'll definitely be back here if we visit New Jersey again.
Alexandria S — Google review
This zoo is a standout on the East Coast! I loved the free entry and spacious free parking. My kid had a blast, and we enjoyed seeing the animals and birds up close. We spent 3-4 hours exploring, and the numerous picnic tables were a great perk. The zoo is impeccably maintained and clean - a definite must-visit for kids!
Jeevanram M — Google review
One of the cleanest and friendly zoos I have ever visited. Habitats are pristine and very large for each inhabitant and it is clear that the staff are dedicated to the wellbeing of the animals. Food was surprisingly good too! It’s free entrance but please leave a donation. They depend on it to keep the zoo in the amazing condition that it is! There is also an amazing treetop adventure course (tickets required) and a great playground!
Maria M — Google review
Just visited here for the second time ever for our baby's first birthday party. The zoo is amazing. Staff at the gates were awesome and did not pressure at all to donate. Loved seeing all the animals, but the overall layout of the zoo is fantastic and the playground out front is perfect for little kids. We brought our own sandwiches and sat at some picnic tables out front after we left. What an amazing day. Well worth the 90 minute drive.
Patrick J — Google review
The Cape May Zoo is great, especially because it’s free! There are plenty of animals to see, with nice walking paths, both in the open and through wooded areas. If you’re coming with little ones, there is a large playground situated just outside of the entrance to the zoo that was very popular on the day we visited. Would highly recommend visiting here if you’re looking for a nice, inexpensive family-friendly activity.
David K — Google review
At first, I thought this would be a small zoo with just a few animals, but it turned out to be a large space with an impressive variety of animals and birds of all sizes and breeds. The layout is well-planned, with plenty of resting areas and restrooms conveniently located throughout. Highlights included watching the baboons, the majestic owls, and the graceful giraffes. But the most thrilling moment was the encounter with the lion—it was truly ferocious, charging toward us several times (check out the video!). This zoo is definitely worth spending an entire day exploring. A fun and memorable experience overall.

Tree To Tree Cape May is a thrilling adventure for the whole family. Even skeptical teenagers end up having a blast as they navigate through the treetop courses. The staff is attentive and ensures everyone's safety, making it an enjoyable experience for all. Whether you're climbing or spectating, the friendly guides and accommodating staff make it a memorable outing.
Thoroughly enjoyed the kids adventure course at Tree to Tree. They were able to very clearly describe how you used the safety equipment and had a practice course to go through to get you used to it before you went higher up. We had a large age range in our group from 69 to 7. The 7 yo just made their height requirement but because he had to fully extend for so long he got worn out and didn't complete the course. The staff was extremely helpful in getting him off the course quickly and making sure he was comfortable with the process. For the older people, it was a little more challenging as this was geared for kids and teens so the taller you are the more of a challenge it was. Over all we had a blast 10/10 would recommend!

What a wonderful experience for 2 of my grand daughters (ages 15 & 10)! They didn’t let a little rain stop them and the guides were awesome! Super fun event right here in our part of the State! We will be back to have more experiences with other friends and family! Thank you😊

My son and boyfriend did the tree to tree kids course for Father’s Day. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. After the training session I was nervous that my son would not be able to complete the course. However, each time he encountered a problem the course guide calmly talked him through. It was an excellent experience!
Laura B — Google review
We had an amazing time. My 3 daughters(12,12, & 10) and I did the large course and my son(6) did the smaller one. It was awesome and the staff was so friendly and helpful. My neighbor got stuck twice and Easton (employee) had to climb up and help and was so kind and patient. I would definitely recommend. Definitely worth the cost and exceeded my expectations.
Noel L — Google review
Excellent activity for active kids! My Godson and Nephew (both 11) took on the challenge for the first time and went straight for the adult course. The intro walkthrough’s were indeed helpful! One got about 3/4 of the way through and the other finished the whole course! They both completed the 5 line zips at the end. Although they were tired and sore they pushed through and have a great time (while fighting their fear of heights!). I would probably suggest a child’s course for the very first time. But it’s a great added attraction! Oh and make sure you have bug spray handy if you’re going to walk the trails down under the adventurer(s)!

We love Cape May Zoo and I wanted to try the zip line. I purchased tickets on line for my grandchildren and myself. They had our info, suited us up, waited about 10 minutes for the tutorial, then we were off to zip tree to tree. What a fun experience. We will definitely do this again.
Elizabeth P — Google review
The grandkids couldn't stop talking about their exciting experience here. I personally would love to see the knowledgeable staff members up in the trees with you, but others didn't mind handling the transition on their own. Go get your adventure on!!

Morey's Piers & Beachfront Water Parks is a 6-block beachfront amusement park in Wildwood, NJ, offering over 100 rides and attractions, including seasonal water parks. The park has a laid-back vibe with expansive beaches and a lively boardwalk. It features classic theme park rides such as a Ferris wheel, go-kart race track, and large roller coasters.
I got the water park and rides combo wristband deal for an adult and child for under $250. The awesome part is they let you split up the days you go to the rides and water parks. We were able to ride all the water park rides on both separate piers. That was a blast and the next day we got into the rides as soon as they opened and got to go on all of the rides that allowed wristbands. The major /tall rides like slingshot and tall swing was not included with the wristbands. The deal and parks were so worth the money if you like the thrills I would highly recommend Moreys piers. The workers are very safe, nice, and helpful. I love this place every year we come back for more fun!
Jamie M — Google review
All the staff is extremely friendly. The rides are fun for all ages. I bought the all day pass for a family of 4. We more than made up the cost. We went on a Tuesday night towards the end of the summer. Lines were extremely short and we went from 1pm when the first pier opened up to 11pm when they all shut down for the night. Plenty of games for the kids to win every time. I also recommend the games package that gives you 10 games for the price of 8.
Edward K — Google review
Great pier with lot of rides, games and entertainment. Definitely check it out. The purchase of tickets is challenging and tricky. Less wait times for ticket but longer for rides. The vibe is great. You can also buy the tickets online and get some savings. There are some quick food options closer and within the pier.
Ramesh F — Google review
Morey's is more expensive than many other amusement or theme parks, but it's an experience to be at the shore and at a park! The rides are extremely well maintained, even better than a lot of parks that are far inland. The ticket system is kind of a bummer but a wristband makes the process a lot smoother. The atmosphere is great, combined with the boardwalk and live music. Can't wait for next season!
Jessica — Google review
I used to love coming here as a kid. Just went back for the first time in probably ten years. The price tag still has me in shock. Most of the good rides cost 8-10 tickets. Each ticket costs $1.50. so if you're riding the Great North Easter for 10 tickets, that is a FIFTEEN DOLLAR ROLLER COASTER RIDE. They have slight deals (92 tickets for 82 dollars, brings the price tag down to $1.15 per ticket) but it's still just not worth it. You'd end up spending all 92 tickets on like 9 rides. And of course, they have an absolutely laughable wristband option: $115 for a wristband. The rides are fine. But you should honestly just go to Six Flags instead. They gotta figure this out.
Conor M — Google review
Its awesome to be able to enjoy the pier without admissions. For non-riders it's great. Plenty of seating, fun food and beverages and shopping too. Kids love the rides, we do tickets since they never expire. There is something for everyone at Morey's pier.
Lisa K — Google review
Went here last August for a nice vacation with family, and safe to say I enjoyed it! The atmosphere was extremely clean, tidy, sometimes a wait for rides but it’s usually only during the night. The area is huge! Food is delicious, and rides are magnificent. I recommend coming at night (if you can deal with wait times, and its the best time to be there).
JoeyLordTDM — Google review
We love Morey’s piers. We get the season passes every year. The waterpark staff is amazing and the ride operators are so nice. The clean team is always nice and out and about keeping everything clean. We love playing games and visiting the food vendors. We had one issue during Octoberfest where they denied my kids a win on the quarter game and we left upset but hey every operation has a bad day and can’t keep all patrons happy. Just wish it didn’t affect my children.

Nestled in the picturesque Cape May Island, Willow Creek Winery & Farm is a charming destination offering tours and wine tastings amidst lush vineyards and gardens. The impressive 12,000 square foot wine tasting room with its outside brick patio and fireplace provides an inviting ambiance for visitors to savor the vineyard's wines. With a 50-acre vineyard benefiting from a unique climate, the winery produces exceptional red and white varietals.
Great food and good wine. Amazing scenery, and superbly pleasant staff. Had Dylan as our waiter and he was knowledgeable and courteous. The buffalo chicken dip is great, the willow whip is really fun and tasty. The best part was probably the setting; indoors and out the place is beautiful. The reds are nice, but a nice icy drink like the willow whip or sangria will be great with outdoor seating.
G M — Google review
What a great experience at Willow Creek Winery - it’s a beautiful place with really good food and wine. I was pleasantly surprised. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating - tons of photo ops. But it was Heather who went above and beyond to make sure the wine flights we selected were suited to our tastes and our experience exceeded expectations. She was spot on, also. We all enjoyed our picks! She was so friendly, knowledgeable (answered all of our questions about grapes, barrels and more) and patient (explaining and re-explaining)! A total hidden gem in Cape May. Will be back for sure and thanks Heather!
Megan N — Google review
This was my first time visiting a vineyard, and Willow Creek Winery & Farm truly impressed me. The drive in already felt special—passing through rows of beautiful vineyards before arriving at a full parking lot, showing how popular the place is. The winery offers two styles of service: one with table service and another where you order and then find your own seat. The atmosphere is absolutely lovely, and I highly recommend going around 4–5 p.m. when the sunlight is soft and perfect for photos. Normally, I’m not a drinker, but I had to taste their wines, and the menu I tried was so delicious. Overall, I really loved the experience here—it’s not just about the wine, but also the relaxing vibe and the beautiful setting.
Emmy V — Google review
Heather was the best server with the best suggestions. Our visit was extremely pleasant and we will be coming back to try the combo platter and have the highly-recommended, signature willow whip again (our favorite for the day). The Wilde cock white bottle was good for crispy white wine lovers, and the wild cock prestige white bottle was even better if you are a Chardonnay lover.
Kelly M — Google review
First of all, this winery has some very good dry wines (I was more prepared for NJ sweet stuff, but their Malbec was truly exceptional); they have wonderful premises with lots of picturesque vines to stroll through; food menu is solid, with some great highlights: bacon wrapped scallops were incredibly flavorful, pulled pork sandwich juicy, and burger a perfectly balance mouthful (sadly, fries was very good, too!). Highly recommend to anyone in the area
Olga E — Google review
My group had a wonderful time at Willow Creek. We did the educational wine tasting and it was fantastic. Ryley was our wine educator and he was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the ambiance was stunning. I would highly recommend Willow creek for a day out and wine tasting. Ask for Ryley! Terry

Our stay at Willow Creek Winery was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and so peaceful. The property itself is stunninglush vineyards, beautiful scenery, and such a relaxing vibe. The wine tastings were incredible, with a great variety to choose from, and each one was delicious. The staff was not only knowledgeable but also genuinely friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Our stay on the property was just as wonderful. The accommodations were clean, cozy, and thoughtfully put together, giving us that perfect mix of comfort and charm. Waking up to the view of the vineyards felt like a dream. Everything was so well taken care of, and we truly felt like we could just unwind and enjoy ourselves. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a fun trip with friends, or just some time to relax and sip amazing wine, Willow Creek Winery is the perfect spot. We can’t wait to come back! 🍷🌿The Staff were so sweet and kind. Ps We LOVED THE SEASONAL WILLOW WHIP SOOOOO GOOD
Yarielis V — Google review
A lovely winery!! Tons of seating both indoor and outdoor so you don’t need to worry about having a reservation. They also have a fun Alice in wonderland theme going on. Perfect scenery and location, especially being so close to beach plum farm. The food was really good- one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I’ve had! Only complaint is completely my opinion and I’m probably being picky but the prosecco was SO sweet (too sweet for a prosecco) and a bit hard to put down. The drink prices in general are steep for what you get, the wine is decent, but not amazing (I also tried the white wine my husband ordered). I would still definitely go back since it’s a beautiful property, staff were pleasant and attentive and the food was delish. 5 stars all around because I didn’t try enough of their wine selection to have a reasonable opinion.

If you find yourself wandering the boardwalk in New Jersey and craving a slice of pizza, look no further than 3 Brothers Pizza & Restaurant. This gem is particularly celebrated for its gluten-free options, making it a hit among visitors with dietary preferences. Guests rave about the deliciousness of their pizzas, including standout choices like the cauliflower crust variety that keeps them dreaming long after their visit. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming, complemented by friendly staff who ensure an enjoyable dining experience.
The owners and servers were friendly , we got a plain pizza pie, it was real tasty. We have been eating at 3 Bbrothers from Italy pizza since 1974, this one of the better ones because the crust was crunchy but not over done. I would definitely drive the 45 minutes to come to this location again. Thanks for serving us like we were family.

My wife and I ate their on a Monday night while headed up to the amusements at Moreys Piers. This was a solid place, especially since many places along the boardwalk are mediocre at best. The food was very good with decent sized portions, typical pricing, and really attentive and nice service!

It was great having vegan pizza on the boardwalk for the first time! Most of their menus don't list vegan cheese, and their website FAQ says they don't have it, but as of July 2025 they do (for whole pies and paninis only). Crust was crispy, toppings pretty generous, and staff very friendly.
Jon F — Google review
Ordered lunch here twice using the Slice app. It was so super convenient to order from our chairs on the beach and just walk up to get our food when it was ready. The same lady welcomed us both times and was really friendly. Solid quality food. You pay shore prices, of course, just like any place else in the area.

Arby's is a fast food chain that specializes in roast beef sandwiches and fries. Employees have a great atmosphere to work in, with the food always being made fresh to order. The speed of service is always top-notch.
Haven't had Arby's in years. Funny they still offer Mello yellow as a fountain drink and the horsey sauce is exactly as I remembered. I had the brisket and it was pretty good for using artificial smoke. Curly fries we're delish

I ordered more than 5 roast beef sandwiches. I went inside to pick up my online order. The guy who was at the counter was waiting on a lady and basically dropped her change on the counter and then didn't even thank her for her order when he gave her her food. As for my order, he seemed to take it personal that I ordered so many. I told him our Arby's near my house has closed and I wanted to have sandwiches. The only thing that made this experience even worth a 2 star was the nice fellow that came from the back and was nice to me and at least smiled. I have been in customer service for 20+ years and this was NOT good customer service.
Jeannette M — Google review
My girlfriend and i stopped in for food quick before a long drive it wasn't busy inside when we placed our orders. Only 2 other people were waiting for food we ordered ours and waited over half an hour for it supposed to be quick, it's fast food, and one of the other couples asked for a refund and left for mcdonalds which is what we should have done. Would not recommend it unless you're going through the drive thru they overtly prioritize them. At least 15 cars came ordered and went before we got our food.

The new steak nuggets are incredible. We tried all three iterations--nuggets, sandwich, and bowl--and were absolutely impressed. My wife did not expect to be able to chew them, and went through the five piece swiftly. Definitely a winner worth the hour drive.

The food was what you expect from an Arby's which I'm good with. But it seems they were shorthanded with only 2 workers running the ENTIRE restaurant. The wait was insane. But ya I'll be back 😂

Waited a half hour inside with my family and never got my food. Wasted my entire lunch break. They never even made the food to begin with. Incredibly understaffed.

I'm editing my review. This place has gone down hill 100% from what it was 2 years ago. I walked in and it was disgusting see my photos of bags sitting out in the open for anyone in the public to handle. I'm done with this dump.. Never again. The managers name is Kelly Green, per the front door picture. They should be ashamed to have their name on this place.

New American restaurant
George's Place Beachfront is a beloved eatery that has been serving American and Greek cuisine since 1968. With multiple locations in Cape May and one in Wildwood, it has become a landmark dining destination. The newer Ocean Street location offers indoor and outdoor seating as well as takeout options, while the original spot on Beach Avenue provides a charming cash-only, BYOB experience.
This place is a hidden gem for breakfast. I don’t think many people know about it. I found it searching Google for places near my hotel room. There was no wait at all which I was surprised since it’s a Saturday morning in July and the place is really small. My husband and I both enjoyed our food. I like the breakfast options. Only negative was the coffee was very watered down. Not sure if I got a bad batch or if they always make their coffee this way. I would definitely come back!

We love it here! Great value for money, great food. We've sampled both breakfast and lunch, both are great! Breakfast has standard offerring and some more creative items (limoncello French toast). Lunch brings out more of a Mediterranean flavor. The Gyro is flavorful and hearty for example. Everything well seasoned, nothing bland, portions not stingy, service is pleasant. Cash only I believe. Someone mentioned its a hidden gem and I agree, its unassuming. Actually quite refreshing in comparison to other cape may restaurants.

I visited Cape May this weekend for the first time since my Coast Guard graduation in 2022 and decided to have breakfast at George’s Place with my wife. Unfortunately, the experience reminded me that racism still exists, even in places that promote hospitality. From the moment we sat down, the only interaction we had with our waiter and waitress was to order, receive the food, and pay the bill. They never checked if everything was okay, never offered refills, and completely ignored us the entire time. Meanwhile, every other table around us, filled with white customers, received attentive and friendly service. When I finally asked for more coffee, the waiter (with an Italian accent or similar) brought it with a bad attitude, spilled some, and didn’t bother to clean it. After paying, I chose not to leave a tip because of the poor treatment, and the same waiter (Italian accent) followed me outside, confronting me and saying it was “disrespectful” not to tip, even though his service was clearly intentional and unprofessional. The food itself was great, but the service was by far the worst I’ve ever experienced. Being followed outside over a tip after being ignored during the meal was unacceptable. It’s sad that in 2025, this kind of behavior still happens. To my fellow Coasties and anyone who values respect, think twice before supporting a place that treats people differently based on how they look or speak. Racism is real. Thank you to the male waiter (with an Italian accent) for reminding me of that today, October 25, 2025, between 10:45 a.m. and 11:50 a.m.

Small little breakfast spot Cape May that you won't regret going to. We normally go to Uncle Bill's, but I wanted to try something new on this place did not disappoint. Everything we had was a great spin on breakfast, as well has having the classics.

We have had dinner here several times in the past and it was excellent. Today I was the first time for breakfast and it was great- beautiful luxury teas, high end jam and a generously portioned Norwegian Smoked Salmon platter. It felt like breakfast and lunch combined - served with a toasted bagel over a generous bed of greens and the best olive oil I have ever tasted. This is not a diner in the traditional sense with an all day menu. I consider it a restaurant open for three different meal times, each with their own upscale menu.

We love all the George’s places haven’t hit wildwood yet but we will. You can count on the consistency throughout the different spots. I always get the gyro it was just as good here as the other spots the platter. Ones with a healthy portion of potatoes like a fries chip but they are delicious either way we love them it also comes with a side of salad also a healthy portion. The management knows how to train everyone and are able to transfer the experience throughout their restaurants which I appreciate. My wife gets the salmon scramble which she loves love loves it’s a great deal. Plus they serve breakfast till like 2pm making it perfect for a breakfast person like my wife and s lunch person like myself. If you are wondering it’s definitely worth going. The one on the beach offers views of beach street which at the time we were there had the starlings murmurations flying in and out great beach diner atmosphere court.

Located in Cape May, New Jersey, The Lobster House is a popular seafood restaurant with a lively atmosphere and waterfront views. It offers a full bar and casual dining experience, serving fresh lobster and seafood from the dock for lunch and dinner every day of the week. In addition to its five dining rooms, The Lobster House provides a unique dining experience on the Schooner American, an authentic 130-foot-long Grand Banks sailing vessel moored dockside.
Nice place for dinner. We seated inside the restaurant because we wanted air conditioning. But we realized that seating on the dock or the boat was also cool with sea breeze. We Will definitely choose to seat outside with Take-out orders the next time visiting Cape May. I gave only four stars because we waited for the food very long and it seemed like the waitress was too busy. But she was friendly. In general, I like this place and will come back again.

The restaurant sign at the entrance is large and easy to spot — anyone passing by on their way to Cape May Beach will definitely see it. There’s plenty of parking, which makes it very convenient. The restaurant is divided into three sections: seating on the boat, roadside seating, and indoor seating. Since it was raining when we visited, we sat inside. The interior has a classic, slightly old-school vibe. The staff were well-dressed and courteous. However, we were surprised when the server placed plates on our table that were still wet and had visible stains on them — we had to wipe them ourselves. We started with appetizers: fried calamari, fresh crab meat, jumbo shrimp cocktail, and clam chowder. The taste was decent. However, the staff repeatedly came over to ask if we were ready to order the main course, even though our table was still full of appetizers. It felt unnecessarily rushed, especially since it was raining and the restaurant wasn’t crowded. Once we finally ordered our mains — two lobsters (steamed and boiled) with a side of crab cake stuffing — the server brought us some bread. The bread was tasty and went well with the clam chowder, although it could get a bit messy when cutting. When the lobster arrived, we were excited — we had high expectations, especially from a place called “Lobster House.” Unfortunately, the taste was very average and not particularly fresh, which was disappointing. We eat seafood often and can tell the difference between fresh and not-so-fresh, and this was clearly not fresh. Overall, we were a bit let down. The restaurant is popular and worth visiting for the experience, but don’t expect too much. It could have been better.

We enjoyed a delicious meal, with friendly and attentive staff and a beautiful view of the harbor from our table. When we saw how many cars were in the parking lot, we were concerned we'd have a long wait for a table. However, the restaurant is huge, with multiple dining rooms, and we only waited about 20 minutes. The staff and kitchen were incredibly efficient, we were in awe of how smoothly they were able to serve so many people at once. I had the Flounder Francaise over linguine and it was one of the best meals I had on our two week trip across the Northeast coast. The fish was perfectly cooked with a light egg coating and the lemon wine sauce was delicious. My husband had the swordfish served on a wood plank with duchess potatoes and said his meal was perfect. We would definitely return when in the area again.

Quaint old school restaurant on the wharf with beautiful views and knowledgeable staff with adorable uniforms that take me back. Sandy was a great server. Very accommodating and direct. Food was excellent. It's nice that the salad is included with homemade dressing. The room was a little dark with many customers with flash lights. The bathroom attendant was so friendly.

Wow, absolutely unforgettable. My mom was pushing for us to go here. I’m so glad we listened! Mom is always right. Wow what a delicious meal. Everything was unbelievable. We had Yasin as our waiter. He was very kind! We got : Escargot - so many I was shocked!! Baked clams casino - amazing ! Crab imperial - to die for Lobster house special - best thing to order you get lobster, shrimp and scallops!! My favorite were the scallops. Thank you for a lovely last evening at the shore.

It is one of the more popular restaurant in the area. There was a wait for dinner on a Thursday night. We arrived at 7:30pm and waited about 25-30 minutes for seats. Huge parking lot across the street. Crabmeat cocktail was good. Calamari was not that great. A little soggy and not crispy. Lobster house specialty was okay. The broiled 1.5lbs lobster was a must get.

This place blew us away. Cozy, sea inspired feel and deco. The food was great, lobster bisque was incredible (our regards to Chef John). Emily provided one of the best services we've experienced; she was delightful, attentive, professional + graceful timing. This was definitely a highlight of our trip to Cape May 🤍

This house is a gift to any Frank Furness and turn of the century and Victorian enthusiasts. The tour guides were truly stellar and added such value and depth to the experience. A highlight of our Cape May visit.

We pulled into park and were slightly early so went into the gift shop(once we figured out where it was) That's where we learned that the trolly light tour doesn't pick you up at the Estate but rather downtown where parking is like finding a needle in a haystack. I assumed based on it stating the tour is only 30 minutes and assuming we departed out of here, we'd be fine on time, although it was probably a tight timeframe. We had a 5:30-6pm Estate tour and a 6:30-7pm Light Trolly Ride. The estate tour was somewhat disappointing but I guess it's maybe because it wasn't what we thought. Estate was nicely decorated with lights & there was a decent size parking lot. We were told to wait outside in front of the building 15 minutes before but weren't really told what to do so everyone kind of just clustered up. It was a HUGE group. Seemed like staff were unprepared for the number of people and ended up splitting the group into two. There wasn't really much direction given and it was more of a drawn out re enactment as opposed to giving factual information about the estate. We only got through the first 2 rooms in a half hour, the amount of time they say the tour is. We had a trolly booked for 6:30 so we didn't stay longer. We would have liked to hear some factual background on the house, the way they lived, etc. I hate being "nit-picky" but unfortunately this was slightly different compared to tours we normally do. *Also, we only made it through 1 room in 30 minutes so expect this to be an hour or 2 tour. It is impressive how restored the estate is though and it's beautiful.

I absolutely lose my mind over historical gems such as the Physick Estate that have the entire house to peruse! The tour guide was fantastic & really went through every possible detail on the family & the history. Came with my friends on the first day of our CM vacation on a weekend. Pretty easy enough to purchase tickets ahead of time at the gift store. All in all a perfect way to spend a few hours learning about the local history! Highly recommend!!!!

Excellent information and beautiful estate. We had a large tour group of about 10-11 people and there was not enough space in all the rooms for us to fit. The last ones in saw nothing until on the way out and then we were rushed to the next room. We came to see the room, the furniture the artwork. It's all lovely. We can forgo some of the story to drink in the details. Please let people really see the rooms, allow time for people wander a bit in them, and have smaller tour groups so there is enough room for everyone.

Step back in time and immerse yourself in aviation history at the Naval Air Station Wildwood (NASW) Aviation Museum. Housed within a meticulously restored WWII training site, Hangar #1, this non-profit museum offers a captivating journey through the country's military and aviation legacy. The museum showcases a diverse collection of historic aircraft, engines, and interactive displays that provide an engaging educational experience for visitors of all ages.
Must see if you’re in Cape May County. There are so many wonderful exhibits in the museum. If you can find Jim Pennington. He’s a volunteer with a TON of amazing info and stories. Your visit will be soo much better with Jim showing you around. My favorites were the attack planes; Harrier, F-14 & F-16, but the old jets and Coast Guard stuff were cool as well. Great place for kids as there’s a ton of hands on things. You can get in some of the planes. Don’t miss the exhibits on the people lost during training. A nice part is you can spend 30min or 3 hrs depending on time available. But seriously, if you want to know more cool facts FIND JIM!!!!

I loved visiting the Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum. The huge WWII-era hangar is impressive on its own, and it’s filled with many fascinating airplanes and helicopters, piston and jet engines, with more to see outside too. The exhibits are interactive, you can sit in cockpits, explore vehicles, and even try simulators which makes it fun for all ages. Everything is well cared for and presented in a way that really brings aviation history to life. A must-see in Cape May for anyone interested in planes or history.

Absolutely amazing aviation museum. The place is big, clean, and has many different aircrafts. The staff is super friendly and the gift shop is well stocked. We liked it so much that we visited twice over the summer despite having an over 2 hour drive to get there. And we will be back whenever we are in the area.

First time visiting this aviation museum and I've been to many. Walking into the hanger brought back memories as I haven't been in one in twenty years when I was working on my A&P certificates. Good parking out, line into the gift shop to buy tickets was fast and everything went smoothly. My family and I were there as they were setting up for the airshow the next car and it was ok to go through the hanger/out given the movement of tables, etc. Nice array of aircraft throughout the years. Seeing the classics put a smile on my face even with the kids wanting to go home haha. The gift shop had a good selection of things to buy and the staff was friendly. (thank you for your patience with my son moving those big plastic toy bins around in front of the counter so he could stay occupied). Next time I'm down at the cape I will visit again.

Our son came home from university with several of his fellow Navy ROTC midshipmen for this past Columbus holiday weekend/fall break! The Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum and Flight Deck Diner were two must do activities! The NASW Aviation Museum is a phenomenal memorial and destination for everyone! Having been born and raised in Cape May County, my pride and love of our communities is strong! Celebrating the U. S. Navy’s 250th birthday on the exact day made the visit even more powerful! Bethany and Pat in the gift shop/ticket counter greeted us with a smile and warm welcome! Dr. Joe Salvatore and his wife Annie’s legacy and dedication to this very vital and historical landmark for Cape May County is truly felt through every exhibition in the authentic WWII hangar!

Hereford Inlet Lighthouse, constructed in 1874, has been restored and now serves as a museum with tours available. Visitors can explore the lighthouse's butterfly garden and browse through its gift shop. The site offers a serene half-acre garden in North Wildwood, providing a peaceful escape from the bustling shore life. While climbing to the top is restricted due to its active status, visitors can still ascend to the landings for picturesque views of the inlet and surrounding ocean.
It is a beautiful area to explore on a sunny afternoon. The lighthouse is located in North Wildwood, NJ. It's easily accessible from the Garden State Parkway at Exit 6 or from Route 9. After spending the afternoon at the lighthouse, the Inlet Restaurant is within a short walking distance. Then you can make your way over to the seawall, which allows you to follow the line of the beach for over a mile.

Beautiful lighthouse, small but full of history and memories. The gardens are exquisite. It also has entrance to the beach. Have your camera ready for excellent pictures.

Wonderful job on the restoration of this gem. The local government and the volunteers really stepped up here. This is a wonderful end of the inlet, more private with a nice long beach behind the site. There is a very nice paved walking trail that runs right by it too. I think it is the best spot in North Wildwood. Inside, through the displays, you get a real sense of what it was like to live at the lighthouse with your family. There are charts on the wall that show the many shipwrecks and the rescues off the coast here in the 20th century. The Coast Guard and life guards here really have done an amazing job over the years. There is an enchanting shade garden on the grounds that is certainly worth strolling through.

It's a great place for families with its salt marsh trails, aquariums featuring turtles and horseshoe crab exhibits. The institute hosts festivals throughout the year and daily kid-friendly events including aquarium feeding times.
The Wetlands Institute is a really neat place for children! They have animals they can touch and see. There are guided wetlands tours that are very informative. So glad we stopped here!! It's a cool place to check out with or without kids. There is a decent amount of walking outside if you want to really explore the marsh. We had lunch here recently on our small vacation trip. The guy Om at the front desk was very courteous and welcoming to my family. The place has its own parking lot and plenty of parking spaces. The dine in area was very well kept and decorated. We had their Goat biriyani, Chicken Tikka masala butter chicken, kabob, garlic naan and Mango Lassi. The Goat biriyani was the highlight of our lunch and it was delicious. Overall can't complain about the food there. Om was very understanding and able to make a masala tea (special order) for me on our road trip. Definitely a go to spot for our Indian food cravings in the area.

We chose this restaurant mainly because we were in the mood for Indian food and it had a solid 4.6 rating. Upon arrival, the staff—especially the person in charge—struggled to find seating for our group of six. After some effort and rearranging, two tables were joined and we were finally seated and placed our order. The appetizer was enjoyable, but the main course was just average. Service was a bit slow, and we were surprised by a surcharge for paying with a credit card, which wasn’t communicated in advance. Overall, the experience wasn’t great—though I suppose I should be thankful they didn’t charge for water.

I was completely unaware we had a new restaurant in town, and was surprised to find out it was an Indian one! I don't think we've ever had an Indian restaurant here (though there is a local pizza place that offers some Indian dishes) so I was excited to try them. I don't do well with high amounts of spice, so I choose items that I thought were low or no spice. I was wrong. Both items were SO spicy. Even my roommate, who loves to put hot sauce on everything, said my food was very spicy. I got samosas and stuffed mushrooms. When I ordered the samosas, I asked to only be given the potato ones and made it a point to request no jalapeno ones. They gave me jalapeno anyway. I only realized after I had already eaten one and ended up running to my fridge to chug some milk. The actual construction of the samosas was decently done, and they were fried well. Very crispy! The phyllo of the outer shell was weirdly thick, and my roommate commented that it felt a bit like chewing on a small pot pie. The jalapeno samosa I accidentally ate was very spicy, and the potato one was only slightly less spicy. My roommate said the samosas were a 3 out of 5 for them. If it wasn't for the high spice, it would be the same for me. I also got the Tandoor Grilled Stuffed Mushrooms. These were insanely juicy, but so much so that they were a knife edge away from being soggy. These were also extremely spicy. The sauce put on the mushrooms had a very strong kick, enough so that my roommate was even asking for a glass of milk! I scraped off the sauce, but they were still too spicy. These were a solid 3 out of five for both of us. My roommate (who ended up eating the rest because I literally couldn't) said they really disliked the random huge chunks of bell pepper and onion that were included in the box. They said it felt like they added a bunch of plate garnish to hide how many mushrooms you're actually getting. The gulab jamun was pretty good, but a bit expensive for what you get. You get four doughnut holes that have been soaked in a sugar syrup for $7. Again, they were tasty, but not for that price. My entire order, for these three items, was $40. Also, the online ordering system they have is a bit of a nightmare. I originally attempted to make a delivery order using the "Seamless" ordering site they offer and it ended up adding an extra $25 in fees. The delivery option attempted to force a $10 tip, no matter how much or little the order total was. I decided to switch to Pick Up, still on their online ordering page, and it still tried to force that $10 tip. I ended up having to call in my order the old-fashioned way, which was a bit of a headache in itself. I mean no offense to whoever picked up the phone, but it was impossible to understand them. The mixture of them talking too fast and being drowned out by the volume of the restaurant in the background, I was struggling to understand anything they said to me. Overall, all of this culminates in a solid three out of five stars for me. People who love spicy food will like this place much more than I did. I will admit, that I am a bit of an idiot for assuming that anything at an Indian restaurant would have a low spice level. But again, didn't really expect something like stuffed mushrooms or samosas to be so spicy I ran for a glass of milk and ended up drinking the entire quart. (Visit was 11/18/2023!!)

The food was delicious! It was my first time trying Indian food and it was amazing! I got some kind lamb meat with a green sauce on the side but it was so good. Their tandoor chicken was delicious as well. But my favorite was their garlic naan bread! If you come here, you should definitely try their garlic naan bread!

Absolutely phenomenal Indian food – a must-visit! As someone who grew up in India and now lives in Philly, I can confidently say Sandalwood serves some of the most authentic and delicious Indian food I’ve had in the U.S. – better than any Indian restaurant I’ve tried in Philly. Every dish we ordered was exceptional: the butter chicken, chili chicken (hands down the best I’ve had in the States), chicken noodles, tandoori chicken, garlic shrimp, samosas, and paneer tikka – all bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. Truly a gem near Wildwood. Highly recommend!

We found this gem after a menu was placed in our mailbox. I’m so glad we tried it. The food is fresh, traditional Indian food. The service was great and the prices are competitive. I only wish I thought to take a pic of our appetizer. We will definitely be going back.

We had such a delicious dinner at Sandalwood! The owner was so kind with our daughter and really made it a fun night for her. The shrimp curry was my favorite but all the food was really delicious! We will be back! Don’t forget a bottle of wine for this BYO :)

The waitress was really nice! I hope the food was as nice as her. Samosa chaat was ok-ish and the goat curry was alright. The proportion was low though.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful sandwich experience, look no further than Mandy's Subs! This charming spot offers an array of mouthwatering options, from their rich crab bisque brimming with generous chunks of crab to the Italian sub packed with fresh meats and crisp veggies. Diners rave about the quality and freshness of every ingredient, making each bite a treat. The roast beef and provolone sandwich is another standout, praised for its flavor despite some wishing for a touch more seasoning.
We got there meatball parm and hot pork with prov and sauteed spinach and WOW, this little spot has some of the best sandwiches down the shore! And there crab bisque is incredible too! Our new spot for lunch...Hidden Gem!!

Got an Italian hoagie and the crab bisque. Fresh ingredients and very delicious. Good prices especially considering the quality of the food.

Came here for lunch today and the Roast Beef & Provolone sandwich was great. The meat and veggies tasted very fresh. Quality of food was very good considering it was only $9. This sandwich spot only has a pickup window. Only takeout here. Didn't see any tables to seat down and eat. Nice lunch place if you are craving a sandwich.

Mandy's awesome. Asked her what's good, she said everything, and while I regrettably didn't order one of everything, I can say the pulled pork and broccoli rabe was excellent. So, I can only assume ain't lying. I'll be back to make my way through the rest of the menu sometime...till then, check this place out, it's easy to miss!

Got the roast beef and provolone cold hoagie. Was pretty good. Not personally a huge fan of those shore rolls. Roast beef was cooked nicely but lacked a little bit of seasoning. The side of the tiger sauce is what made this hoagie delicious, do not sleep on that tiger sauce!

There was an issue with our order and they made it completely right. The sandwiches were awesome with friendly service. Simple and delicious with good moral character. Perfect combination for a successful business. Thank you!

I ordered the crab bisque and an Italian sub!! The bisque was fantastic, flavorful and there were big chunks of crab in it!! The roll to the Italian was sooo good!! Meats, lettuce, onions, tomato were ALL fresh! I ordered through door dash, and my order arrived within a reasonable amount of time! Fantastic food! Highly recommend.
