Thunder Valley Casino Resort is a modern hotel and casino offering various dining options, a pool, spa, and conference facilities. The resort has been recognized for hosting live performances by acclaimed artists like Steele. Visitors have praised the diverse selection of games available at the casino and appreciated the cleanliness and maintenance of the premises. Guests who use rewards cards can benefit from perks such as complimentary nights and free gifts.
I was in Rocklin on a date and decided to stop by Thunder Valley Casino Resort since it’s only about 10 minutes away — and wow, what a night. Walked in with a few hundred, played some slots and blackjack, and ended the night up $1,300 plus a beautiful room at an amazing rate. The staff were amazing — friendly, upbeat, and genuinely made the experience feel special. The drinks were perfect too — their bartenders know how to mix a drink just right, and the service all night was top-tier. Our room was spotless and came stocked with thoughtful extras — shave kits, soaps, bubble bath sets, slippers — little things that make a huge difference. It felt more like a luxury resort stay than just a quick casino stop. And I’ve got to mention the gift shop — picked up an awesome Thunder Valley jacket that I haven’t been able to take off all week. I’ve been telling everyone the story of that night — from the big win to the great people — because it really was that memorable. Between the welcoming staff, great drinks, and lucky tables, Thunder Valley absolutely delivered. This was my first time really playing here, but definitely not my last. Can’t wait to come back for round two soon!

Regular here; rooms are always clean and staff is very helpful from hotel. Room service is hit and miss. Rooms most have been remodeled. Suites have jetted tubs and have a very large bathroom. All rooms have amazing soaking tubes and separate showers. Love bathroom set up. Pool is great especially when no kids around. Drinks are great Poole

Thee most horrific experience after all these years I’ve ever experienced. Been going there for 11 years. My mom has been going there since it opened. She turned 87 years old today and my daughter and I took her there for dinner. She has had dementia for eight years and lays her head down for about 5 to 10 seconds at a time, but has never slept in her transport chair. Went for dinner had a great night as always at thunder Valley She was happy to see the people she always knows there until a security guard came up and tapped her on the shoulder in her wheelchair as I was playing the game!!! SHE wasn’t playing!!! and he told her you’re not allowed to sleep here lady. I said, she isn’t sleeping. She has dementia. She nods her head down continuously every day all day. He said, well ,she can’t do that here because young people might say she’s sleeping in here and they don’t want to see that!!! WhAT!!! I have been in there for all these years and watched people spit on the floor, drop their ashes on the floor, people coming in with very provocative clothing showing everything yet an 87-year-old woman with dementia cannot sit in her chair and enjoy her birthday because of one little incompetent security guard name, Jimmy, which I’ve never seen there in 11 years. Must be some reason he needs to prove something. I don’t know, my husband and I have spent thousands of dollars in this casino and to be treated this way when she wasn’t even gambling, she’s sitting in a wheelchair as I’m pushing the nine dollar button over and over and over is very confusing to me so if I bring a paraplegic disabled person to thunder Valley in a wheelchair and they are not gambling, but they’re sleeping I’m supposed to leave. Do you understand handicap thunder Valley, I’m extremely confused. In the normal it would be discrimination. It’s an Absolute disgrace that you would allow your security guards to treat people this way, she was having a Wonderful time seeing all the people that know her there that she CAN remember, the whole evening was ruined by some security guard, (Jimmy) , I guess wanna be cop I don’t know. I know reviews don’t mean much but maybe somebody seeing this will not decide to make the adventure to thunder Valley if they have any type of disability or anyone that is disabled that they are taking with them. We were completely appalled. My heart is completely broken by how it’s ok to treat people this way just because they are an Indian casino. My mother is 25% black foot Indian. All about the money I guess. If I met the man who thinks he’s something as a security guard outside of an establishment. He would be nothing but a disgraceful person who is so angry in his own life that he has no idea how to be a kind person. It’s all in the approach. You have some fabulous employees Thiundet Valley, please don’t let one bad person cause these type of reviews. My heart is so broken, because I didn’t believe you allowed discrimination against disabled human beings.

I like this casino. Has decent food options, really nice bingo hall, and fun slot games. Wish that the non-smoking and smoking rooms were switched. High stakes bingo, someone hit 83,000 progressive while I was there, super exciting even if it wasnt me. I won warm ups for $250.

What can I say. Thunder Valley hotel and casino is the best!!! The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Very modern. The service of everyone from the Valet, bellmen, desk person to the bartenders were exceptional. We can't wait for the next visit.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We absolutely love Thunder Valley! The spa remodel is gorgeous — so relaxing and just what we need every time. We go as friends to celebrate and unwind, and it never disappoints! Linda is awesome and always makes us feel so welcome. And Joseph is amazing — he always says hello with a smile and treats us like VIPs. Five stars all the way!

We have so much fun here. The rooms are nice, the food is delicious and we ALWAYS get the best service! We absolutely love the team at Thunder Valley. They have the best Casino Hosts, Rosemary, Gabriel, Linda, and Mary and such welcoming Hotel Desk Staff like Angel. We love grabbing drinks from any of the friendly and talented bartenders like Jennifer at High Steaks, Christine at Thunder Bar, Daven at Red Lantern and Tim and Laurie in High Limit. Thunder Valley is an amazing resort and continues to be our favorite!!
Linda W — Google review
It must be terribly unsafe to park in the garage here or something because not even seconds after you turn the ignition off on your car, a security guard comes driving up in his golf cart to yell at you to either run into the casino immediately or leave the premises. We were obviously in shock by the sudden scolding by the guard who just glared at us until we quickly gathered what we could and hurried off to the elevator, not even getting time to make sure we'd tucked all our belongings away in the car before leaving. We thought there was some kind of active threat or something, but everything was normal once we walked into the casino. Worse yet when we left, a different security guard was patrolling the garage and approaching people at the cars. But unlike the one that yelled at us, this guard seemed to more calmly and politely tell people that they could not stay in their cars or whatever. This was the first bad experience we've had at Thunder Valley, and probably the last as we're probably not coming back unless they fix whatever security situation is causing them to act this way.

Nestled near Sacramento, Lincoln Hills Golf Club boasts a stunning 36-hole layout designed by the talented duo of Billy Casper and Greg Nash. Since its inception in 1999, with an additional course added in 2005, this golf haven has become a top choice for enthusiasts in the greater Sacramento area. The courses are characterized by wide fairways and beautiful views of rolling hills and wetlands typical to Placer County.
Love this course. Great course conditions, organized and well run as a business. 36 holes. Orchard is my challenge course. Both are solid and quality. The driving range, chipping area and practice greens are in great condition as well. Staffs are always nice especially Reynold. He does have the best customer service.

For the first 17 years we moved up here. I played this golf course every Sunday, we loved it. People were Nice, the course was always in pretty good shape, but it has changed. Couple years ago, the ownership started to change so we decided with the decline of the golf course to step away for a while. Today was the day we decided to give our favorite course another try, sadly, it was a disaster The course was overbooked, the fairways were atrocious, the weeds were running the place and the greens were poor at best. However, we decided to keep going, and then ran into a cart problem, I play with A couple of disabled older gentleman, one had a quadruple bypass another is missing a leg and had a bypass as well, needless to say we need those carts to work. It didn’t, I called the clubhouse 13 times as you can see in the photo and we weren’t able to get a hold of anybody. We decided to throw the three bags onto one cart and drive into the clubhouse. We know it’s not the safest thing to do, but we had no other choice. As we were driving in, a woman yelling at us told us we can’t do that and stopped We tried to explain what happened, but she disregarded any explanation and continue to berate us. Sadly got the better of me and I called her Karen, and we drove off. She followed us with almost a personal hatred and started berating us again, she said do you know you just called the head golf pro a Karen and stared at me as she as if she was going to punch me Instead of engaging any further we left Not only am I never going to come to this golf course again I’m gonna let everybody I possibly know about this horrible situation

Well the course itself is pretty nice really scenic and well taken care of... That's not the issue. Primarily it's the customer service some guy named Shannon at the front desk is pretty awful at admitting whenever a mistake has been made. Essentially we had all checked in and paid in my entire foursome. Then, we got down to the teebox on one and then they said only three of us had paid. We went back up there and a member of our group paid twice just to get The Show on the road. We all knew we had already paid, but we wanted to get started so then we paid for five rounds to start. We went back in there after the round and showed receipts and some lady that was there was helpful and got us straightened out and our refund figured out. Meanwhile, Shannon is over there running his mouth acting like we're basically lying when we have receipts to prove it. So not only did he not say I apologize for our administrative error he doubled down on it NOT being their mistake and had a little bit of an attitude about it. Also just because I'm at it there's no pass by the clubhouse at the turn... Pack a lunch. Turkey Creek is a much better golf course with better customer service and friendlier staff. I would go there don't bother with this place!
Thicc K — Google review
I’ve played these courses 3 times a week for the last 7 years and have watched the courses go from bad to worse to getting really good. The new owners have done a tremendous job on the renovation of the bunkers. The sand is very good quality so it makes the course so much more playable. I see that work is being done on the lady's tee boxes also. Thanks for the improvement! Also kudos to the employees working there!
Nancy M — Google review
Showed up 25 minutes early for my tee time and the pro shop wasn’t open yet due to an alarm going off. I had about 15 mins to my tee time once it opened. I went to the range and tried to hit some balls but the starter was extremely rude. He said I didn’t have enough time. Then I tried to get a few putts on the practice green, he followed me and told me I needed to get up to the tee box once again in a very rude manner. I told him I still have 7 mins. He yelled as he was walking away that he’s been doing this job a long time! First time playing there and I won’t be going back. Terrible customer service!
Cody P — Google review
The golf course is beyond stunning however the employees are so lacking in intellect they did not tell me when renting clubs that they will be holding my card captive when i get back from my game. Instead they told me "Your card will be right here when you get back." I live an hour away and they ruined my experience, my day, my saturday as well as now i have to cancel prior made plans to go retrieve this card. NEVER RENT CLUBS FROM THESE IMBECILES!!! WASTED MY GAS, MY TIME I CAN NEVER GET BACK, RUINED MY PLANS, AND CAUSED ME TO USE MY CAR WEARING ITS COMPONENTS. If you are leaving you should've handed my card to another authoratative member or the clubs staff. Not say come back tomorrow and waste someones time.

Went to driving range yesterday.. October 16 Saturday.... Instead of mats... Hitting off the grass... Management thought that was best... Since they over watered the night before... Nothing but mud... Can't believe how poorly run this place is. Used to be nice... Obviously there new management way in over their heads.

March 11th, 2023 Forecast for light drizzle and scattered showers, they lied. Hole #15, par 5 I’m 7ft away and 3 putted for bogey. Although it was a sloppy mess since the 12th hole it still was fun trying to navigate through the rivers and standing pond’s through out the course. Made for a challenging day 🤣🤣 Great courses, always a great time

McBean Memorial Park

Park
The recent visit to McBean Memorial Park was absolutely fantastic. It provided a delightful experience for both the 3-year-old and the 6-year-old, who thoroughly enjoyed all the park had to offer. This remarkable park boasted various amenities including restrooms, horseshoes, baseball and basketball courts, a sand pit, and an enormous wooden play structure. Additionally, there was a BBQ area with benches where families and friends could gather for an enjoyable time.
First time here! My impression was very good and enjoyable! I really enjoyed taking my children here. They must have played for 90 minutes. They played hard. After leaving they fell asleep from all the playing they did. All the items on the playground worked and looked well maintained. Just saw a few items of trash (3). The kids found it a lot of fun and very enjoyable. It is an enclosed space with a fence surrounding the playground area. I would recommend this place!!

The best kept secret in Lincoln! True Americana at its finest. Every seat in the house offers a great view; bleacher seats are shaded for night games too. GA bleacher seats are great but for a few bucks more, get the assigned seats with a back. There is a non-ticketed bleacher between each row of assigned bleacher seats which you can use as a table! Get the stainless steel reusable beer cup and save on refills. Don't park in the stadium parking lot as that's where most foul balls end up. Plenty of street parking in the neighborhood surrounding the park.

We stop here regularly when I ride with the Sierra Foothills cycling club. It is always clean and safe.. no broken glass in the parking lot etc. I did the Tour de Lincoln and we used the larger buildings also... very nice!

Our visit here yesterday was amazing we had a lot of fun my children are 3 and 6 both were able to enjoy everything this great park offered!! We really enjoyed that it had restrooms, horeshoes, baseball, basketball, sand pit, huge play structure made of wood, also BBQ area with benches to have a great time with family and friends! Overall a great and wonderful place worth the drive 100% only 3 down falls were: a couple of the wood areas of the play structure could use some attention, 2nd zip line needed repair, and bathroom floors looked bad , but other than that A+

I really envy those who live near this park, you are lucky to have the opportunity to often visit such a beautiful place with children. we came from Sacramento and could not pass by this place. It was quiet and comfortable, the feeling of serenity and safety, the playground was so interesting that our children did not want to leave.

We had a large family gathering at this park and it worked out great so we all could keep covid protocols. Pre covid, you could make reservations for the various facilities available. Currently the rules are first come first served. We got there early so that we could use the gazebo for our get together. The restrooms were adequate, but not super clean, but remember a lot of people besides us was there, so I still give it 5 stars

Restaurant
High Steaks, located in Thunder Valley Casino, offers a sophisticated dining experience with prime cuts of meat in an elegant stone-walled setting. The restaurant boasts a charming patio area as well. Guests rave about the outstanding dinner they had at High Steaks, claiming it surpasses even the finest dining establishments in Las Vegas. One highlight is the generous serving of delectable crab legs that far exceeded their previous Alaska seafood encounters in both taste and value.
Absolutely love High Steaks. Great ambience. Super friendly staff. Michelle was our waitress and she was very attentive. It’s a very romantic and relaxing restaurant. Food is always amazing. If you’re looking for an upscale, classy place this is it. They have a full spacious bar as well.

First timer. First of all, didn’t expect how good this place was and even more amazed we were able to walk in for a table as well. I have to say this restaurant, both their staffs and food were great. The only thing was their surf and turf cost $175.00, didn’t know prior nor was told until seeing the bill after. Overall a great dinner.

High Steaks at Thunder Valley Casino delivered a refined and memorable dining experience. The service was truly impeccable—attentive, professional, and perfectly timed. From the moment we sat down, the staff made us feel well cared for. One of the highlights was the bread presentation and amuse-bouche. The selection included five or six types of bread with accompanying spreads, which was a thoughtful and satisfying touch—especially appreciated when you’re hungry and waiting for your entrée. It really set the tone for the meal and helped elevate the overall experience. The food was excellent, with pricing that, while slightly high, was in line with other upscale casino restaurants. The quality absolutely justified the cost. My only critique was with the seafood platter. One of the oysters was noticeably undersized—not a naturally small variety, but more like a baby oyster compared to the others. At $80 for a platter, I’d expect everything to be carefully checked before leaving the kitchen. That said, when I pointed it out, my server quickly replaced it without hesitation. It’s a small detail, but one worth noting, as not every guest may feel comfortable speaking up. With just a bit more attention to plating consistency, the experience would be flawless. Still, I’d gladly return—High Steaks hits the mark on service, ambiance, and overall quality.

This spot is amazing, service was quick, our server was so polite and he made sure we had everything accommodated for, I couldn't decide on a wine so he brought me a few options to try (his recommendation was the one I picked overall), scallops were melt in your mouth delicious, bread was so yummy, and their French onion soup was top tier!!!! Highly recommend you try this place, and the chocolate bark at the end was aperfect ending. A million stars to the chefs!! Oh and the oysters omg so yummy ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Took my wife out to dinner here for our anniversary. After being seated (Adonis) got us set up at our table and brought us a variety tray of complimentary bread. He was kind and very personable. I noticed him interacting with other tables all while displaying a genuine smile. Our waitress (Jordan) was spot on in taking care of our every need. She took our order and checked in on us regularly after our meal arrived. When she learned we were celebrating our anniversary she brought out a small chocolate raspberry cake for us to share. It was a nice touch especially while I was trying to make the evening a great one for my wife. Thank you , Adonis and Jordan

Meridians Restaurant & Bar, the main dining spot in Sun City, is a delightful culinary destination that offers a variety of experiences for food lovers. Recently, it hosted an exciting event featuring Brendan Linnane from Foggy Dew Funghi, who shared his expertise on mushrooms while chef Tatiana Hylton showcased her skills by preparing a delectable appetizer using Linnane's harvest.
I am so happy to report the new chef is doing an amazing job with the menu. The daily soups are great and the occasional specials are really a treat. This past week I ordered the chicken lollipops in a Korean barbecue style, with a sweet/spicy sauce on a bed of equally tasty rice. I’m afraid if this becomes a regular menu item, it will be the only thing I order, it was that good! Congratulations to the new Chef!

We enjoyed our BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger and Salmon Almondine for dinner at Meridians. The food was very good. The food did come out quickly. The environment was very clean, pretty, and appointed like a cruise ship. The service was unfortunately very slow even with 3-4 servers for the whole restaurant. Water refills were unbelievably slow. I was also quite disturbed to be charged for both my table and an adjoining table. Fortunately, I spotted the two charges going thru with my credit card app alerts. I mentioned this to the server and then got an admission of what had happened and that they were working on correcting it. The server then checked I got back the correct card, which was concerning. Unfortunately, there was no apology from anyone. By the time we got to our car I saw a credit pending on my card for the second charge. I will now keep my eye out that this second charge is properly zeroed out. Food is good, but clearly staff training still needs work. In my opinion, there is NO excuse for mischarging like this. Fortunately, they did not misplace my card (unlike another restaurant in Lincoln. Again, NO excuse for that either.)

I’ve been to this restaurant several times and have never had a bad meal. The servers are always friendly, and the place has a great atmosphere. However, last Wednesday, I ordered the fried rice—and I have to say, it was a disappointment. The first bite was extremely salty, so I thought maybe it just needed a good stir. But once I stirred it, I found a pool of oil sitting at the bottom. I gave it another try, hoping it would get better, but it was still overly salty and greasy—almost inedible. Please consider improving your fried rice. Maybe take a few notes from how Filipinos or Thais do it—just saying!

The eggs Benedict are very good, and so are the desserts. It would be great if they served Warm Bread with the soups and the pasta. The servers could be a little more attentive with taking orders and refilling coffee. I love the views.

Really good salmon tacos, good grilled cod, and good fish and chips. There was a gentleman playing guitar in the background which was very nice and it's a pretty view looking out the windows to the golf course.

Ate outside on the terrace and were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. The rice paper shrimp appetizer was scrumptious (asked for extra sauce). Shared a salmon dinner which was cooked to perfection—moist and tasty with yummy squash on the side. Crista was a wonderful, attentive server who did a great job suggesting a beer and app.

Food was good. Went when I thought it wouldn’t be busy.(1:30 on a Tuesday) It wasn’t. Took more than 10 minutes to get water. 20 minutes for glass of wine. Had not tried Meredians in a long time because of less than stellar experiences. Most recent experience does not make me want to return and I’m a SCLH resident

Restaurant
If you're in the Lincoln area and craving some delicious Chinese cuisine, look no further than Lincoln Chinese. This beloved restaurant has been a local favorite for over 15 years, known for its fresh ingredients and generous portions. Diners rave about their Family Dinner options, which include a delightful selection of entrees like sweet and sour pork, cashew chicken, and broccoli beef, all served with tasty appetizers such as egg rolls and fried wontons.
Best Chinese restaurant in Lincoln. Very friendly and polite customer service. Prices are reasonable and portion is big enough. They are always busy. I will comeback again for different foods
Brian C — Google review
Stopped by for some dinner. The staff was very friendly and helpful with ordering. All the food was on point. The left overs were all boxed up for the kids at home. A must stop by if you are in the Lincoln area.
Scott R — Google review
The staff was really friendly. However, I found the pricing for certain items confusing, and it wasn't clear if some options included sides. The Sizzling Chicken Soup had absolutely no flavor, but the egg rolls were hot and tasty. The chicken and broccoli were decent. I ordered my food to go and it came out quickly.
T'keyah — Google review
This has to he by far the worst chinese restaurant i have ever tried. The food is appalling. The orange chicken is over cooker over batterd nasty dry leather belt type of material. The mixed veggies is overcooked mushy brocoli with raw onion. The brocoli beef tasted like 2 week old soggy beef from the rain gutter. Seriously disgusting food. Would not recommend we threw our food away learned our lesson

Great Chinese food restaurant, amazing service and pricing, we felt very welcomed by the staff, and enjoyed our food so much! We had orange chicken, orange beef, and fried rice, all was great and had good portions too.
Jesse W — Google review
Have been going here for 15 years plus. The food is great. They have the best Chow Mein, General Chicken & Cashew Chicken. Everything is made fresh and the portions are huge. Always order a Family Dinner $15.99/$16.99. You get a pick of entree then it comes with egg drop soup, fried rice, egg rolls, fried won tons, and prawns for the $16.99 Family Dinner option. There is always leftovers.
Anna W — Google review
Five of us went to enjoy this place. It was referred to us by a friend. We ordered the family dinner for $14.95 each. The appetizers were egg roll and fried won ton and the soup was egg flower. Our entreés were sweet n sour pork, cashew chicken, broccoli beef, pork chow mean and pepper beef. All the vegetables were crisp tender meats tender and sauces delicious. Portions were good size, we had reasonable leftovers. The food came in a reasonable amount of time. The reason it wasn't a 5 star review is we had to go up to the cashier to ask for to go boxes and we had to box and bag them ourselves (I'm not fond of dirty fingers when I'm out). They also didn't collect the payment for our check and we had to wait for 7 to-go orders to be processed before we could pay. They also left us sitting in dirty dishes and didn't offer more hot tea even though the pot was small. Otherwise it was a terrific place. We will be ordering from here for our Christmas Eve traditional family meal.

Hamburger restaurant
In-N-Out Burger is a beloved classic in the fast-food scene, known for its customizable burgers, hand-cut fries, and delicious shakes. This iconic chain has captured the hearts of many, especially those who have relocated from California. Diners rave about their affordable meals—like a feast for six that can cost around $66! The double-double burger served animal style is often highlighted as a must-try.
Always great food and service at In-N-Out Lincoln! As transplant Californians we’ve grown to absolutely love In-N-Out l, and it’s our go-to for quick, fresh, delicious food. Recently went to grab food for 6 people, and entire bill was only $66 for burgers (animal style), fries (animal style), and shakes! Most affordable meal we can get in town. Highest recommendation, double-double animal style is my go-to, will return.
Patches_995 — Google review
When I get fries they are not cooked all the way through… so instead of complaining I ask for LIGHT WELL fries and I get very limp fries…. I just want crispy fries like every other IN-N-out does… please. Do I ask for them to be burnt? Just want them brown
Sam A — Google review
Had a good experience at this In-N-Out Burger in Lincoln, California. We were the first customers at 10:30 in the morning on Sunday. The staff was friendly and very efficient. Stores kept clean and inviting. The food was fresh and at a great value. Looking for a fast food burger while in Lincoln I recommend the In-N-Out.
Walter H — Google review
Great tasting, affordable "fast-food"... always fresh, always friendly & enjoyable experience....try the cold cheese and chopped peppers on your burger
Bnb S — Google review
Food is great, just like any in-n-out but I agree with the reviews. This Innout is probably the worst innout at making fries!!! I ask for crispy I get medium rare. Innout fries are already mid and they make it worse. Still good burgers though and they always get my order right.
Samartinski — Google review
Was fanastic restaurant until tonight. Waited 20 for fries and a shake. I get that there were other people who ordered before me but its still ridiculous. Lady serving my order didn't even apologize for the wait or even smiled. Don't go on Friday night.

Very clean location, food was fast and hot. Employees were well groomed and welcoming. Location offers coke products, shakes, iced tea, and pink lemonade. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Restroom are open. Easily located off of Ferrari ranch Rd exit in Lincoln CA.

Passed by here earlier this evening with My Father. This is My first time going to this In-N-Out location in Lincoln, California. The service was good. I ordered a 4x4 with no tomato and regular onion, fries, Large Soft Drink, and a Regular Chocolate Milkshake. My Father ordered a Cheeseburger with Onion, fries, and a Medium Soft Drink. The food was hot and fresh when I received it.

Turkey Creek Golf Club is in excellent condition, with well-maintained greens and a practice green that, although slower than the other greens, still provides a pleasant experience. The course's beauty is impressive, and the restaurant offers exceptional food, particularly their fries. The staff members are friendly and courteous. This club has the ability to reignite one's passion for golf due to its overall appeal. On a first visit to this course, one would be pleasantly surprised by its amazing state.
Great course ! To the reviewer Dennis Yuki. You said they were racist? This is total BS and you know it. Guys like you always pull the race card whenever things aren’t 100% perfect in your mind. This course is likely one the best in the area. No homes, plenty of wildlife, beautiful views and a very fair test of your game for all skill levels. ALL the staff are very friendly ALL the time. In the pro shop, restaurant, greens staff, etc. I have never once had anyone Less than nice and helpful. Can’t say that for the other courses in Lincoln ! 😆 One of the most welcoming spots in the valley. On top of that the fees are very reasonable! So Dennis, as a player we don’t want your attitude here! Beat it !
TJ — Google review
The fairways are in terrible shape and they have let the ruff areas grow so long it's like US Open conditions if you don't hit the fairway. I lost a few balls just off the fairway because of the long grass. This used to one of my favorite local courses but it has gone downhill.
John O — Google review
Great course. Spectacular views!
Rex R — Google review
My grandson takes lessons here, so I came along one day to watch. I was very impressed with the beauty of the course. The restaurant was excellent (best fries of my life) and all the employees were courteous and friendly. This club makes me want to take up golf again.
Sally S — Google review
Very nice course, beautiful greens, challenging, great practice green and big range, pro shop and clubhouse well stocked.
Pete M — Google review
Course is well conditioned for this time of year. They had the greens punched today which resulted in sandy/bumpy putts (definitely effects score). They keep OB dead and short, very clean. Makes the fairways & greens pop. OB shots are easier to recover with how well they maintain. Great public course & will return.
Michael T — Google review
Very nice course, most likely the best in Roseville area, fun to play and a little challenging

Beermann Plaza

Plaza
Museum
Lincoln, CA, is a town north of Sacramento. It’s a small town with lots of local history. Like every town, it has a downtown area. But unlike most towns, Lincoln has preserved most of their smallish downtown. It functions with retail businesses. The area dates back to the mid 1800s. The downtown is anchored by the Gladding McBean clay factory (established in 1875) and still operating today, albeit at a much smaller scale. The Beermann Plaza is named after the Beermann family that opened up a harness and saddle shop in 1880 on 6th and F streets. The son, Charles, became the city treasurer in 1892. The current plaza was dedicated in 1991. It’s a smallish plaza with a water fountain, outdoor art display picnic tables, grassy area, and small shade trees. Small town charm without big city madness. The plaza hosts community events. The Rotary club is hosting the 2025 Lincoln wine fest in April. Surrounding the plaza is the Lincoln Archives Museum, Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, and several restaurants.

The Art League of Lincoln is a charming and organized gallery that is unfortunately not frequented by many visitors. The population of Lincoln has increased since the establishment of Sun City, which was about 60 years ago. However, the older community members are no longer investing in art or any other form of investment. Despite this, they still enjoy admiring the artwork without necessarily making purchases. Overall, the gallery is definitely worth a visit with its warm and friendly artists and staff.
Great place to visit or shop for gifts for someone special, and don't forget a treat for yourself!

Great place to be. Joe is a delightful host and has some outstanding wines. My favorite is the Petite Sirah. But there's 19 reds to choose from. You won't be disappointed with the wine, atmosphere, and service when you visit here.

We were in town for a family event and wanted to make some new family memories. Ciotti Cellars was the perfect stop for it. Joe, the owner was very welcoming and the property was perfect for relaxing. We enjoyed a tasting that was full of great blends and flavors. Afterward, we bought a bottle of Barbera and played bags. Did I forget to mention they have a Winery dog?! I highly recommend you make time for a visit.

I strolled by today with some friends to do some wine tasting. Out of the other local Vineyards, this one was very accommodating. For the high volume of it being a Sunday with beautiful weather other places just for not setup properly for tasting. This place has a fantastic wine bar room that's like 15 ft long so you can get served and walk away. Other places had their little tasting table's smashed in a corner that people are trying to file in and out of, and it was a kid friendly place there were children outside. They look like they have setups for live music. And they had some lives musicians playing at the time inside. I like the Barbera reserve the most. The owner was there. He was very nice. I would love to come back and chat him up someday that's not as busy.

I have to mention that Ciotti is the best winery near Lincoln, New Castle and Loomis area. The atmosphere here which is fantastic and charming. A lot of high quality good wine like Babera, Montepulciano, Cabernet Franc etc. Definitely, this is the place that I would like to come back at anytime.

Kim's Country Kitchen is a cozy and family-run dining establishment that offers breakfast all day and other classic American comfort dishes in a relaxed setting. The restaurant prides itself on providing home-style meals that evoke the warm feeling of enjoying a delicious homemade feast, without having to deal with the inevitable mess afterwards. The ambiance exudes a charming countryside cabin vibe, which perfectly complements the traditional menu. Despite its unassuming exterior, Kim's Country Kitchen delivers exceptional food that is both flavorful and plentiful.
We came for the first time for the Veterans Day Special! The loco moco was FANTASTIC. The rice is really over cooked and a little mushy. Hope you’re into that. We were fine with it :) The kids area was a life saver. We took the table immediately adjacent to it so we could eat while our kid played. No need to keep her pinned to her seat. Thank you!
Thuy N — Google review
Arrived at 9am on a Sunday morning and there were only a handful of people there, so no wait time at all. We ordered drinks and they were brought right out. Our food didn’t take too terribly long to come out. Everything was okay not the best but definitely not the worst. The kid’s portion of French toast and bacon was excellent. The cowboy Benedict wasn’t amazing, had all the right ingredients but really lacked flavor. The classic Benedict’s eggs were over cooked so the yolk was solid. We were brought our check but then nobody ever came back to pick it up, we ended up taking it to the front counter to pay, maybe that’s what you are supposed to do? There was a wait when we left so maybe other items are worth it on the menu but we probably won’t be back, the prices are too high to not enjoy the food.
Chylsi C — Google review
A lot larger on the inside then it appears from the street. Very friendly waitstaff with plenty of seating. Rustic decor is charming. Great coffee, huge portions (the pancakes are MASSIVE). Toast was thick and delicious. If you get the country potatoes, have them add the onions and peppers. A great local greasy spoon diner!
Michelle S — Google review
Don't eat here if it's within the last hour of service. We were skeptical on walking in because they were about to close but the hostess assured us we were fine. Looking around and seeing several tables still eating, we sat down. Most of the staff gave us dirty looks but our waitress did a good job making us feel welcome and checking in with us. She ended up comping us 10% off our meal because they were "out" of sausage, "out" of hashbrowns, (didn't want to cook any more), and my California Benedict , which was supposed to be served on bacon, was served on gross, soggy bacon bits. They looked like random peices of ham hock. Luckily my husband had ordered extra bacon so I was able to salvage the rest of the meal. All in all, our waitress did her best, but based on the quality of the cooking, I would not go back. Bottom line, if you don't want to serve what you advertise, shut your doors.
Feona S — Google review
Read the reviews and decided to drive from roseville to check it out. Felt like complaints online didn't really give a clear picture of a bad experience... we just left, still hungry, food was awful. We said something to the server when she asked why we don't want boxes and brought our check...she laughed and never came back, someone else took the card. We just spent 40 dollars and feel ripped off, the food was terrible, not seasoned well, the grease tasted old. We left almost 2 full plates of food pictured here...

Nestled next to Beermann Plaza, Los Gallos Taqueria is a charming little eatery that might easily slip under your radar. With its quaint house-like exterior, this family-run taqueria specializes in traditional Mexican cuisine that warms the heart and satisfies the palate. The cozy interior features a handful of tables, creating an intimate dining experience perfect for casual meals. Many locals have made it their go-to spot for delicious food and standout salsa.
This place completely meets the definition of a great hole-in-the-wall eatery. Please don’t let the humble location and unassuming facade deter you from some of the best Mexican food in the area. The food is just flavorful, authentic, and just down right good. Their tacos are so good, burritos just the same, but don’t you dare not try the enchiladas!
Craig B — Google review
This tiny restaurant next to the Beermann plaza can be easy to miss. From the outside the exterior looks like a little house. But they are a family ran taqueria serving up traditional, classic Mexican dishes. Overall, it's a solid dining option when I find myself in Lincoln. The interior is smallish, with a dining area with about six 4 person tables and two 2 person tables. It's cozy for sure. I popped in for a late mid afternoon weekend lunch, so it wasn't busy. The complimentary chips tasted and looked fresh fried. Crisp yumminess without the oiliness. The red salsa was delicious; flavorful with a bit of non spicy kick. The cerviche tostada was fantastic. Yum. Fresh flavors. It was a bit wet though, so I put a napkin underneath to soak up the wetness to slow down the tostada from getting overly wet and falling apart. The cerviche tostada was $5.99. The shredded beef in the crispy taco had good basic flavor. The one item combo with beans and rice is priced at $10.99, two items $12.99, and three items $14.99.

Don't know about the food as we didn't stay for that but the racing seemed to be very well organized and the kids had a blast! There were different sized cars for kids and adults and races were either groups of kids or older kids/adults, they do not race together. Instructions and helmets are provided.

I’ve lived in Lincoln for 3 years. I tried every Mexican Restaurant in Lincoln 3 years back and found Los Gallos to be my “go to.” The food is pretty good and the salsa is really good. Except lately there has been a major issue. I usually order “to-go” and that is normally no problem. As you wait for your to/go order, you can see what people who dine-in eat and look at their order. Lately it seems the owner is really sticking it to the to-go customers. Look at the chips and salsa that a dine-in customer gets.. now divide that by 5.. that’s now what a to-go customer gets. I always thought that ordering to-go helped out a business like this because we don’t take up 1 of the 8 tables and we tip still. But in the end, taken advantage of I guess. Lately I’ve been going to Trés Hermanos. They have a salsa bar that is free with any order and the salsas are pretty darn good and you can get enough for your food.
B M — Google review
Its a tiny restaurant with pretty good food. Pretty consistent quality but I find the meat to be lacking in some places. Although I find it more easy to get Take-out just because there's like 9 tables so if its a peak hour it might be hard to get Dine in.
Samartinski — Google review
Their food is delicious. My personal favorites are the Carne asada tacos and the super burrito -which is huge! Great prices too! Basic seating inside but there's also shady places to sit outside in the courtyard around the side. It's become a weekly tradition. I tip well, they deserve it. P.S I will add pictures soon...

Bar & grill
Lost Shaker Bar & Grill is a delightful local treasure that captures the essence of small-town charm reminiscent of bars in Wisconsin and Minnesota. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with friendly patrons eager to socialize over delicious food and drinks. The attentive staff ensures a welcoming experience from the moment you walk in, making it feel like home. One standout dish is their uniquely shaped fries—crispy corkscrew delights that blend the best qualities of steak fries and curly fries, leaving your taste buds craving more!
Best food I’ve had in Lincoln, hands down. The brisket tacos are “to die for,” and my husband likes the budget-priced carnitas street tacos. Being from New Mexico, I appreciated the medium hot homemade salsa served with tortilla chips. Cara is an awesome bartender/waitress.

We came on a Sunday morning last week and waited for the bartender to open the door (because we were early). She was very nice. A girl who worked in the bakery down the street told us to come. We just wanted a Bloody Mary before we went to visit family for the day. I have to say, we have a lot of Bloody Mary's in different cities, and this had one of the best mixes we've tasted - it was great! $10.50 each, with Ketal One. The bar has been revamped this year, from what i heard. Lots of space, and a separate game room where you can hit your vape. Nice place :)
Amanda E — Google review
I’m a rating it a 3 because the restrooms were ridiculously unclean, female bartender was rude, margarita was not good, and their was water all over the floor. They have two separate areas and one has games (darts, shuffle board, etc) and it closed off from the general bar area and not as loud. Really liked this game room (Minus the water all over the floor. The female bartender was rude. Overall rude. I Understand you get busy but I’m the queen of politeness and I overheard several customers complaining about here while the regular customers reported she was always that rude. The beers are good. The restroom could use a deep cleaning.

Had a great experience at Lost Shaker Bar and Grill! From the hostess to the bartender, the service was top-notch—super friendly and genuinely attentive staff that made us feel welcome right away. The entire place was clean, including the bathrooms (which is a big deal for me and always a good sign of a well-run spot). The food was delicious! I was hoping to try the prime rib, but found out it’s only available on Fridays—guess that just gives me a reason to come back. They also had a solid selection of beers on tap, with a nice variety beyond just IPAs, which I appreciated. Really happy with the transformation from the previous owners. It has a fresh vibe and feels like a great local spot to hang out with friends. Definitely planning to return soon!

Looks like a dive from the outside so glad we stopped! Food was top notch! Atmosphere was fun and lighthearted! Excellent service!

Good reasonably priced food and drinks. Great service! We'll definitely go back!
Larry E — Google review
This is such a great little local gem! Reminds me of the bars in wisconsin and Minnesota. Small town feel where the people inside are simple people, just there to est, drink, and socialize. The people we dat next to were very friendly. Our bartender was attentive, and the food was good too. I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH UNIQUE AND DELICIOUS FRIES BEFORE! They were a corkscrew shape and they were hot and crispy. They were something else. They were a mix between steak fries and curly fries, truly tasty. The one downside to this place, was there was no changing station ( I guess because it is a bar, most people don't bring their babies) so I changed my babies diaper on the back of the toilet. Not the most cleanly bathroom, but also...its a bar. Anyways, good food and beers on tap, I would like to go for some cocktails sometime. There was a little stage and dance floor which looks like fun to cut a rug. There was also a few dart boards and a shuffleboard in the other section of the bar.
Claudia L — Google review
Local vibes. Indoor smoking section with darts, foosball and tvs for a local game watching experiance. The owners are lovely and they pride themselves on hiring dependable capable staff.

Wise Villa Winery provided an exceptional experience with their outstanding food, wine, and service. The property offered breathtaking views, especially during sunset. Despite a power outage in the area, the Wise Villa Winery team efficiently accommodated everyone and ensured a continuous flow of delicious food. The staff remained friendly throughout the entire visit. This establishment is highly recommended for individuals seeking a delightful dining and wine-tasting experience in Lincoln.
Sure! Here’s a food review with a focus on how amazing it tastes: Heaven in Every Bite: A Flavor Explosion You Can’t Miss From the very first bite, I knew this was something special. The flavors were bold yet perfectly balanced, creating an unforgettable experience that left me craving more. The texture was spot on—crispy where it needed to be, tender in all the right places, and bursting with freshness. The seasoning was impeccable, each spice complementing the dish without overpowering it. Every bite was an explosion of flavor, with just the right amount of richness to make it indulgent without being overwhelming. And let’s talk about that aroma—absolutely intoxicating! The kind that makes your mouth water before you even take a bite. Paired with a side that was just as thoughtfully prepared, this dish was pure comfort and satisfaction. Whether you’re a foodie or just someone who appreciates good, honest cooking, this is the kind of meal that makes you close your eyes and savor every moment. Simply put, it was perfection on a plate. Highly recommended! What dish are you reviewing? I can tailor it even more!

Today, we celebrated our anniversary at Wise Villa Winery. We arrived early on our tour and started at 11:30am. The tour was given by the wineries owner. What a treat. There is so much good info about his journey and the winery. The views are awesome, the food was great, and our tour ended in a tasting and lunch. Lunch is optional, but it is recommended Kick back and enjoy the beauty of the foothills. The wines were excellent, along with the lessons of each of the wines. Check out the pictures and quick video. #JUSTHAVINGFUN

We came here during September and the lunch tour option was great. Dr. Lee explained the wine components and chemistry so well that we now look very closely at every label before we buy a bottle and can tell if it will be a good wine or not. Food was amazing.

This is such a beautiful winery and great place to eat. The food & service were excellent. The scenery is stunning. All the wines we tried were so well balanced and clean.

Great winery with awesome food! Visited jujy 5th..see receipt as always. The villa burger with fries was under 20 bucks! The red wine flight was 20 bucks! The sangiovese and Cabernet Franc was delicious! In fact i bought a bottle of Cabernet Franc to go! The views are beautiful and the inside dining area is classy yet comfortable. It gets busy so make a reservation! Nice for a romantic lunch or even with your friends! Beautiful drive to get to the winery/restaurant. Our waiter Chris was attentive and professional. GREAT service! The staff was friendly . Great relaxing experience!

Worst winery experience I’ve ever had. And I’ve been to wineries in Idaho and have been wi e tasting all over CA for almost 25 years. We had made reservations (2 of us separately to accommodate our party of 5). For a wine tour. When we arrived we were advised no wine tour. Owner not available. Also. You can wine taste (but we are going to charge you $20). I don’t think everthing should have been comped. But maybe since we organized, planned and arrived on time, our tasting g should have been comped. Also? You want lunch here. No problem. We were offered an outside table if we wanted to wait a few minutes. We said sure. We could wait 15 minutes. NP. 30 minutes later, we needed to locate a manager because it didn’t seem like anybody cared about us. We should have left. We ordered another bottle of wine. And waited another 40 minutes for our food. I ordered salad and fries. My order was incorrect and came 10 minutes after my entire table was served. Food okay. And then the manager came by with coupons for a free tour and tasting. At this time I pulled out my coupon for free tasting and tour and advised hey? I already had this coupon. And see what happened. Well please come back and we will make this right. Really? You couldn’t make my visit right. Why would i come back? I dont think I’m the customer Wise Villa Winery is looking for. No problem. I can take my wine business elsewhere. There are so many other wineries. Why cry about this one? I would have given zero stars, but had to give one for my review to be read.

This was a destination. We planned on wine tasting and lunch. It was a beautiful setting. Wine was nice and I loved the owl vibe. Waitress was attentive. Food was tasty. Loved the chowder. Loved not too crowded, being the holidays.
Janet R — Google review
The scenery absolutely stunning. The wine mediocre last visit there with my sister every wine tasted the same and was on the sour side, very light in color for red wines, and we didn't even finish our wine tasting, the club membership, not worth it unless you're going to get more than 4 bottles and spend over $200 each time for mediocre wine. The food went downhill as well. I ate there several times and the only time that was amazing was the very first time I went there. But I think the worst part is, if you join the winery for just 2 bottles, you're only getting a 5% discount, and it's only good for 2 people to taste wine. There's not a lot of perks. All the events are overpriced over a $100 per person to attend. They don't do anything for their club members that is complementary, that is! Sad because it's a beautiful winery, beautiful grounds. Try it once. But if you join the wine club, you have to commit to 3 pick ups, or you have to pay a $100 to discontinue. And for 5% club member price off 2 bottles, I'd rather just buy it at the regular price, Woo hoo big deal, 5% discount on 2 bottles. Other wineries give you 10 to 20% off.

Happy we stopped here! We did two wine tastings and a wine slush. Per the server recommendation, we did half rose half Zinfandel and it did not disappoint! We mostly loved that it was not overly sweet, a perfect balance. To top it off their fall decor was a nice touch! Also, they have different events going on such as live music, we’ll definitely be back to check them out!

Talk about great prices and a great environment! We went there at 12pm on a Saturday, first ones there. Which was great, we had great services and even greater wine! I would highly recommend this place for a nice laid back time...also their wine slashes are TO DIE FOR!!! They are that good! There is also food truck if you need some grub! Highly recommended!

Wine is tasty. Everyone is very friendly. New favorite local spot. Whites are crisp and refreshing and the red are flavorful and distinct notes between bottles.
Angela F — Google review
This was only our second visit, not that we haven't tried to get back sooner. Good wines, really nice Barbera. Cab Franc was good, too. Mitch, the owner, was making the rounds and it was good talking to him. Ashley kept the wine coming and we enjoyed talking with Jo, Mitch's m-i-l. Ashley talked us into joining the wine club and looking forward to some wine and winery events.
Chris M — Google review
The wines may not be the best ones among this area, but I think I come here to taste them because the owner is nicely.
Timmy L — Google review
This place is a gem! Loved the wine, the people and the facilities. We had a large group event and we contacted Smokin Barrel about three weeks prior and they were the most helpful and accommodating business we have ever dealt with. They asked what type of food we would like so they could hire a local business and we decided on wood fire pizza by “A Pizza My Life” which was also amazing. Do yourself a favor and give Smokin Barrel a shot and you will not regret it.

Great wines and awesome owners! I highly recommend checking out this new winery in the Loomis area. They have recently added a wine slushy club for those who enjoy a different wine experience.

Great location in town for kids to play. It's smaller but works for gatherings like a bday party. There is shade and tables.

Plenty of mature trees provide some shade by the benches, play structure, and swings. Swings and slides are in good shape. There's a large pavilion with multiple picnic tables, and a bathroom.

Breakfast restaurant
Cafe
Nestled in the heart of the neighborhood, Karen's Little Café is a delightful gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. This charming family-run establishment has quickly become a favorite for breakfast lovers, serving up classic dishes with a touch of magic. The fluffy biscuits and gravy are nothing short of heavenly, enveloped in creamy, peppery goodness that transports you straight to Southern comfort food paradise.
I wandered into Karen’s Little Cafe expecting a modest breakfast and left convinced Karen might be some kind of culinary sorceress. Let’s talk about the 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy—and by “1/2 order,” I assume Karen means “half the size of a carb-based asteroid.” Fluffy, buttery biscuits were smothered in creamy, peppery gravy that whispered sweet Southern nothings to my soul. I’m still dreaming about it. My cardiologist probably is too. Then came the corned beef hash with 4 eggs—yes, FOUR eggs, because I live dangerously. The hash was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and clearly made with real love, or possibly black magic. The eggs were cooked exactly how I ordered them, which almost never happens. Either Karen has telepathic abilities, or she actually listens to orders. Revolutionary! The staff was friendly, the coffee was strong enough to raise the dead, and the whole place has that cozy, lived-in charm that says, “Yes, we will feed you until you question your life choices in the best way possible.” If you haven’t been to Karen’s Little Cafe, fix your life and go. But wear stretchy pants—you’ve been warned.

First time we tried Karen’s Little Cafe for breakfast, and we loved it! Our hash browns came out exactly as ordered (crispy), and the corned beef eggs Benedict was delicious. Service was great too!
Beckyjack1976 — Google review
Karen's Little Cafe is a nice little neighborhood cafe. The staff were especially nice and we were well attended. The food was very good. My only issue, although small, was that the bill we receive was not an itemized bill. I like to look over the bill especially when there is often an unspecified service charge or tip already added. We will definitely go again and I'll ask for an itemized bill.
Andrea P — Google review
The ABSOLUTELY best place to get AWESOME service and AMAZING food. Always have the best time every time I go in. Food is always so fresh and delicious.
Terri M — Google review
A small family run cafe that I have been to twice recently. Both times were for breakfast and both times were just old school breakfast perfection. Omelette and pancake perfection AND both times my toast was actually hot. We all know most places just serve browned bread that was toasetd before you even arrived and served at room temp. Going to try Karen's Little Cafe for lunch next. I am optimistic that it will be excellent.
Dan M — Google review
This is a perfect small neighborhood cafe serving breakfast and lunch until 2:30 each day. A comfortable place to have a conversation while you eat. Serves all the standards. Worth a trip out of the way
