Chose tue resort for an anniversary turnaround getaway for me and my husband. It is overrated and over priced. Maybe years ago it was amazing. Event-wise could very well be amazing. Rooms ... No! Walls are thin, heard our neighbor's conversation for a good 4-5 hours til she fell asleep I guess. No microwave. One of the elevators was out of order. Cause delay for everybody. Ice machine on 2nd flor was out of order so we had to go up to the 3rd, with only one operating elevator. Yes I get it- it is a "destiny" resort. I use that loosely. The buffet was tasty but there was not enough options for the price. Hostess needs customer service training. We didn't even know it was buffet til another customer said they just go up and served themselves so we did as well. You all will not believe that thw lights were going out like the fuses were blowing. Not weather but you have too much going on and your breaker can't handle it. But nobody offered any explanation or reasoning. It is funny that we are asked for a deposit for incidentals bit we were not offered any kind of discount or complimentary anything for all that they had going on. We can't charge you a deposit. Please think real hard if you are not golfing, planning to go to their events or you are invited to a wedding just going here for your own celebration and atmosphere... it is not worth it... on another note- it seems like the town in general try to nickel and dime you, hoping you won't look at your receipts. Look at your receipts. Callaway Garden Hotel room 1 1/2 out of 10 for the money. And wifi is slower than a baby turtle. Grounds are beautiful ha a lot of greenery. Japanese Maples and different shrubs 🙃

All things wonderful here for family fun. We especially. I enjoyed the beach party at the lake and the food trucks had such a rousing selection of culinary delights. Having the trolley to transport us around the gardens and to the butterfly center was a plus. Callaway Gardens is being maintained in pristine condition. The amenities are superlative, and the grounds are well kept. The price was a value for all of the fun we had.

Had free tickets to gardens so went the end of September. Not much was happening but we rented bikes for $20 each and took time riding the 10 miles of bike path. It was nice and quiet. We stopped by the chapel which was beautiful and the butterfly aviary which was really neat, so many butterflies. We took a break by the beach and then upon returning the bikes spent some time in the discovery center which had some interesting nature information. Didn’t stay at the lodge

So I only went for the pumpkin patch, however it was so much fun. It wasn’t as big as I expected however the light path at night was fun, our little ones enjoyed it. The food was great and they had a bar for the parents which is a plus ! We will make it back for Christmas!

I took my husband here for a massage and to unwind while on his 34 hour work break. The grounds and venue were beautiful. It was easy to find and access from I65. It was very relaxing. With that said, take your wallet. Everything costs; everything. My husband loved his massage. He said he felt renewed. I had the spa pedicure. It was mediocre and could definitely use some improvement. EVERY one was nice. The workers definitely know what customer service is and they go above and beyond to provide a good experience. The rooms were beautiful, clean and up to date. The cellular service out there is as expected; nonexistent. That’s probably a good thing to unplug and really get you in the relax mode. The caveat? Ordering food in the evening. We wanted to return to the tap room after having enjoyed lunch there but there was a 2 hour wait for food orders. We decided to just get room service. Well, it was absolutely horrible. We ordered room service for dinner around 6pm. An hour later, they called us to say they were out of an item we ordered so my husband kept his room service order and I ordered a pizza from the market. Another hour later the room service food arrives. The pizza from the market was delicious, hot and much better than the burger and fries from room service. Overall: I think it’s a lovely and convenient place for a one or two nighter but we’ve definitely had a better experience for less money.

We get the yearly membership every year and go to quite a few of the events throughout the year. Our kids and us really enjoy it. They have a little bit of something for everyone. It does get busy for special events, but they do a good job of getting people in quickly at the gates considering the amount of people going through. Once you get in the cost of everything is pretty high - like $8 for a basic beer, but that seems almost normal now at places like this. The only real negative is their website. As a member it seems like the website has glitches especially when trying to buy the promised discounted tickets you get with certain membership levels. You can always call or deal with it in person, but in 2025 going quick and digital is what we've come to expect instead of having to sit on hold and wait.

This is our weekend getaway from city. We always have a relaxing time. The resort hasupgraded their amenities. The staff is welcoming and comforting. Great for couples, family, or friends trip.

Excellent service. Cheyenne was a great guide. The obstacles were challenging but fun and doable. Thanks for the birthday gift!

This is our 2nd time experiencing the Tree Top Adventure at Callaway Gardens. They have multiple courses available for all age groups. The courses are definitely work, but we’ll worth the views.

We had a really great time Zip Lining at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia and we especially appreciate our two guides Race and Conner for the great help and instruction along the way. Zip Lining at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia was way more fun than we even expected!

The Discovery/Lake Course is worth every cent and mile traveled to explore it. Our guide Hunter was very thorough on advising us on how to navigate the path. He also made sure to provide us with a special experience while showing off his sick ziplining skills. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an adrenaline rush and beautiful sights!

Caleb and Cheyanne are amazing! They were so patient and kind. My daughter was so terrified to try this, but they made her feel comfortable and brave. They deserve a raise!

We had a great time. The courses were challenging and we did not feel rushed at all. The first part of our group had been there before and went ahead with another guide. Harrison was our guide and he was super patient and did great. Highly recommend him and the courses.

We did the Discovery Course. Awesome experience all around! Very nice staff that went above and beyond to make it great. We were super late because we got stuck in traffic and later got lost. They went out of their way to get us briefed quickly (since we missed the instructions because we were late) and on our way. I really expected the worst, and they totally surprised me. After being in the car for 3.5 hours, it would have been terrible to be told we couldn’t go. We will definitely be back!

The birds of prey show was very informative. We enjoyed learning about the different birds & watching them. My granddaughter loved the fact that the birds flew close to us in the audience.

It doesn’t matter if you have kids, are a kid, or just feel like a kid… if you are visiting Callaway Gardens you must take the time to visit the Virginia Hand Callaway Discovery Center. This is just a fun place where kids of all ages can learn something new. During our visit they had an exhibit called “Toys, the inside story” and it was a super fun and “hands on” exhibition. Have you ever wondered what makes the buzzing noise inside the game Operation? Well you’ll find out when you visit. Or how do all the gears go in just the right places to make a robot move? The answers might surprise you. Also during our visit there we watched the Birds of Prey show that is performed daily. The keepers of the birds were extremely knowledgeable on each type of bird they brought out and showed off. Although this was in the middle of day and extremely hot, the show was cut a little short just so that the birds didn’t have to spend too much time in this heat. I totally respect that. When you plan your trip to Callaway Gardens, make sure that the Discovery Center along with the Birds of Prey show are on your schedule. You will not be disappointed.

A fun visit as part of the overall experience. The birds of prey show is always a highlight as are the numerous dioramas in the halls. There also a little history center right up front and a gift shop. A quieter place than most of the crowded areas at Callaway with some nice places to walk around outside.

My grandchildren love it here! There are so many exhibits and activities to help them learn about nature.

The highlight was the butterfly house! It was so cool! We were there when the blue-winged butterflies were in season, and they were gorgeous and everywhere! I loved the exotic plants spread everywhere, and we even saw a turtle! And a leaf butterfly! Go, it's definitely worth it!

A beautiful place to see butterflies in the middle of Callaway Gardens The Cecil B. Day Butterfly Center is located in the heart of Callaway Gardens. It is a beautiful and relaxing stop for anyone visiting the area. You’ll need access to Callaway Gardens to enter, but it’s well worth it. The center has its own parking lot with about 50 spaces. Outside the building on the side away from teh parking lot are some ver colorful flower beds and nicely landscaped designs that set the tone as you drive up and before you even step inside. The butterfly part of the building is an impressive two-story glass structure that is obviously filled with natural light. Upon entering, you’ll find a small foyer with a pretty well-stocked gift shop on the right and the entrance to the butterfly garden on the left. Visitors enter at the upper level and can walk down gently sloped paths to the lower level, watching butterflies flutter among tropical plants and flowers along the way. Depending on the time of year, there are usually plenty of butterflies to see in every direction, making it a photographer’s dream. The overall atmosphere is peaceful, warm, and immersive. It’s definitely one of the highlights of Callaway Gardens and one of the most memorable, serene experiences you’ll find anywhere in the Pine Mountain area.

On a very quiet day, we were just in time for Butterfly 101. It was a very informative explanation of butterflies and their life cycle. My apologies for not remembering our leaders name. She has a passion for butterflies. Just slow down a bit in the presentation. Later we enjoyed a leisurely stroll through the conservatory where we saw so many butterflies. Fun to spot them and have them flittering around.we did see a “wooing” by a male who attempted to be accepted by the female for his dance. He must have danced 5 minutes but was still rejected. Hopefully I can attach the one minute video of his wooing dance later from my phone.

Once you've paid to enter the park, all the other attractions are basically free including this one. Always enjoyed visiting as a child and my last trip there in August was the best. So many butterflies and many more hatching right out front. A great place to take little ones, but keep an eye on them.

An excellent experience for children and adults who enjoy butterflies. Our favorite time of year to go is in September when the beautiful Blue Morpho butterflies are released, but any time of year is great!

A place of beauty, calm and grace, A fun-filled, blooming, wondrous space. With flowers bright in every hue, And endless things for one to do. The birds of prey soared through the sky, With lessons neat and spirits high. Though azaleas missed their grand display, The trail still charmed us all the way. The butterfly house—what a dream! With wings that flutter, glide, and gleam. Among the blooms they danced and played, A memory that will never fade. Yet finding paths was not so neat, The map led down a tricky street. One-way roads and locked-up gates— I looped the highway, tempting fate. Much better just to walk the land, Through wooded trails so richly planned. Though long the trek, it brought me peace, And gave my wandering soul release. The fee was steep—thirty and change, A bit too much within my range. Twenty would be fair, I’d say, Five more to see where butterflies play. But even so, it brought delight, From morning sun to evening light. With joy and awe my heart was stirred, A place I’d visit undeterred.

Disappointing. My first trip here was in the late 70s with my family and my recollection was that it was full of beautiful azaleas, foliage and landscaping. Fast-forward 50 years, the lovely greenery, beautiful azaleas, and well kept landscaping are missing. I never heard my father complain about the roads, but I did it for him as I tried to navigate the impossible street signs and cartoonish road maps. The one bright spot of our entire experience was the birds of prey exhibit. For the ticket price, you would expect so much more. Cannot recommend.

Beautiful scenery and great place for a family gathering, a company retreat, GA governments looking for a spot to host GOV employees and institutions. Its not an atmosphere for the single fun life. Beautiful recharging place though. There’s a few mishaps at the beginning, but everything smooth over. For your coffee lovers. They have a Starbucks coffee beans inside and make fresh coffee. The lake could add some jet skis👀. Overall I let the photos speak for themselves.

We admittedly went at the wrong time (late summer bleh) so there wasn't anything blooming at all. But being able to drive to the different locations was nice. We caught the tail end of a carnivorous bird show (no pun intended), and it was cool that the bird flew all around us, friendly-like. The highlight was the butterfly house! It was so cool! We were there when the blue-winged butterflies were in season, and they were gorgeous and everywhere! I loved the exotic plants spread everywhere, and we even saw a turtle!

Pumpkins at Callaway is always fun! This was our second time going and the entertainment was great! Not much changed from the year before but still fun. Would suggest maybe more carnival type games and entertainment. Add some more food options. But overall a fun experience for family and kids.

Always beautiful, it had been a few years since I last went. I will say this time I was pretty irritated that it was very difficult to leave. Most the exits were closed, so was on of the main roads, and the only way to leave was labeled "cottages residents only" so we drove around for about 30 mins till I found a staff member to ask.

Crystal at the front desk was really helpful and accommodated our late checkout as my husband had to be on an important video webinar. This is our second time to Callaway Gardens. The first time was in 2016. We love this place. The villas were nice and clean with adequate appliances. However, the Treetop Discovery Center was severely understaffed, which made everything really slow. Whether it was the bike rental, zip line course or Discovery cafe, everything seemed very sloooow this time around.

We participated in Celebrate Trail Day today by riding the trail end to end. Now, we have ebikes so don't go thinking we are all that 🤓. Trail, today, had many walkers and riders of all ages. Give it a go. You'll have fun.

Love hiking in this beautiful park. We have now hiked all 23 miles of The Pine Mountain Trail and the 2.8 mile Boot Top Trail which makes the Dowdell Trail Loop. The view is beautiful from Dowdell Knob, this was FDR’s favorite spot to contemplate the world’s problems. This is a great park to hike during the winter. The walk to cascade falls is a nice walk from either side. The Pine Mountain trail part of the Overlook Loop gives some great views (correction made from owner comment, thanks). I found the park staff at the Visitor’s Center very helpful. The Pine Mountain Trail Association does a great job keeping the trails in good shape and the signage is excellent. This is particularly helpful for day hikers and people who hike the loops. We hiked some of the sections out and back, some of the sections as part of loops, and some sections where we left vehicles at both ends.

This place is beautiful!! It has a bunch of trails, and the popular one follows a creek that leads to some waterfalls! Worth visiting, pace yourself.

I called this trail the Appalachian trail light. It is a perfect trail for training for harder trails. It is just difficult enough to be interesting for beginners. It is also great for daylights and there are a lot of loop trails. Start at warm springs for the best views of waterfalls like Cascade falls,. I made it suffered there are multiple campsites along the trail. The views from dowdell's knob are amazing. Have fun!

This is a very unique state park. I like the history and nature. Where I can get away from society be at one with the woods for a short time to decompress and reset myself while exploring the awesome woods.

We hiked the Pine Mountain Trail. Great hike. We saw deer, spiders, birds and lots of mushrooms. The visitor center is nice as well. Lots of souvenir items and the staff are friendly.

Love FDR State Park, great place to hike and take in some great views. Some trails can be a little challenging but that's what makes it worthwhile.

We stayed at Callaway this weekend leading into Monday. Sunday night we chose to eat on property at the Piedmont Dining Room. It sounds like a Cafeteria but it was 💯 better than that. I got the Ribeye, medium rare, of course. My wife ordered the Airline Chicken. Both dishes were delicious. Well seasoned... sides were as well... Our service was fast and friendly. I would do it again.

We had dinner at Piedmont while visiting the Fantasy in Lights. It seemed like they were short-staffed and spent a lot of time serving water, when they could’ve saved time by leaving a pitcher at each table. The food was okay, but the service could use some improvement.

Two day stay at The Lodge at Callaway Gardens. My wife and I enjoyed Coastal Seafood night last Friday- had reservation but there was plenty of seating. Dinner was buffet style all-you-can-eat. Food and service was great! A little pricey but considering all you can eat shrimp, crab legs, salad, beef, chicken, pork tenderloins, green beans, slaw, potatoes, dessert bar - not bad. Also had a station for made to order shrimp and grits.Good sweet tea by the way. Next morning — we came for the breakfast bar - all the usual items including a station for made to order omelettes. Again food and service were great!

This is a buffet style restaurant. You can order food from casons restaurant menu. The buffet is 55 dollars. With alot of options

The food was ok, but the pastries were better. The eggs and fried potatoes were kind of bland. The price was way more than we had planned to spend. My husband found a menu somewhere on the internet and thought it'd be about $13.50 per person for the buffet. We never saw a posted price anywhere, until we got our bill. It was $21.95 per person. For likely powdered eggs, we sure felt short-changed for the price. The staff was friendly and the place was convenient and really nice, but we made sure to go elsewhere for our next breakfast. The bill was charged to our room, instead of us getting to pay while in the restaurant.

We came here looking for a nice dinner. We have never been, but we're seated in a nice booth, greeted by a very pleasant waitress. We had seen the menu online and my husband was ready for a steak. Nope! We were told it was buffet only tonight, $55/person for hot dogs and hamburgers. When I asked about the prime rib or steak we were explained that the restaurant was not serving the regular menu, only the hot dogs and hamburgers. I would be pretty upset if I paid $110+ tax for hot dogs and hamburgers. We left. The waitress was wonderful, but the restaurant should be ashamed of themselves for those inflated prices for street fare.

We came to the resort for a 2-day conference and ate here for Lunch on the first day. There were 5 of us. Our waitress was nice but never asked if we wanted anything besides water. All the food was yummy, but there were some issues: -I ordered the French dip, which was yummy, but the aju was cold. -Two people ordered the soup of the day, which was steak and potatoes, which they said was yummy but had a large amount of fat. -One person got a flatbread, which was with so much garlic it burned to eat.

Chicken tenders and biscuits were amazing! Great service and even better views!

Whenever we come to Callaway Gardens, we always make a stop here for a lunch. We waited about 10 minutes for a table, so not too bad. It gave us a chance to check out the nice store area. First off, that cinnamon bread stuff is to die for! Outstanding flavor!! We each ordered salads as our entree. Nice toppings on both. Good tastes. The biggest issue was the level of service. It was just slow. Our server looked to be having to bring out the food to all the tables rather than just take care of his own. It took 20 minutes from the time I asked for the check until I was paid out. Just way too long. Still, with the food and nice atmosphere, we will be back for another round.

First time here. Went around 1130, very busy but got a table immediately. Had pot pie, catfish plate and 2 waters..$38. Waiter was inattentive but all the staff minus the lady at the very front in the store, looked like they rather be anywhere else but there. Food was crackle barrel like. Catfish and hush puppies were the only hot and decently tasting thing. Catfish was not over breaded but could use more seasoning, actually all the food needs more seasoning. In no way, shape or form was that nearly the world's famous pot pie. Very bland and tastes premade, clearly as u can see the crust top comes right off. We didn't ever get our bread brought out to the table either. Got one coconut cream truffle on the way out...that was delicious! One and done is good for me!

We had a great lunch here! Everyone was very friendly and the food was great. The cornbread and biscuits they serve are so good. The view is outstanding. It’s fun to shop at their store afterwards. We will definitely be back.

Had lunch a month ago, was disappointed in the food. Thought we would give another try. Today the food was once again disappointing. The burger was pricy, that we knew in advance. The bun was cold and not toasted as described, the other ingredients onion ring, fried green tomato, etc were also cold, the meat was okay. We will not be back. The dining area could use some cleaning.

The food was nothing special. The sides lack seasoning, the fried green tomato sandwich was the worse I’ve ever had (Mayo base something with sweet jam, cucumber, cheese, on toast)… my friend enjoyed his pork chops and my side salad and fried okra was good. They weren’t busy… I came just for the view and didn’t like the fact they wouldn’t allow us to sit at a table that seats more people where we could lookout the Windows and enjoy the view… the main reason for our hot in a half hour trip. The first waitress we had wasn’t friendly and she left without letting us know something else would be taking over. Thank goodness the other lady was much more pleasant. Won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend. Neither of us were pleased.

We arrived today around 10:40am for breakfast. The website says they are open for breakfast until 11am. The hostess walked up and didn’t acknowledge us and fumbled papers around and then 5 minutes later looked at us and told us that they are not taking anyone else for breakfast. We asked for the manager, Ron, and he came out and was not sympathetic. I explained that today is our wedding anniversary and that we had driven in from out of town. He reiterated that they would not seat us for breakfast. This was very disappointing and poor customer service. They were so nonchalant about it as if they did not care at all. They should update the website to say what time they stop seating people for breakfast.

The manager is Racist my husband went in there with workers mind you he’s always gone to Subway’s and they always understand. She was acting frustrated like she didn’t understand and at one point Started raising her voice, so my husband started raising his voice too. She said you know how to say chipotle and mayonnaise you know English say it right. that’s when I stepped in and she started raising her voice at me & I told her not yell at me because I wasn’t yelling the she said that’s just how she talks. Do not recommend this place I wish I could post a video but It won’t let me as you can see in the video. She was just standing there telling him to say correctly in English.

Stopped off after a bike ride for a bite to eat. Initially, the young lady was working along but doing very well. Ordered, ate. No issues to speak of besides the dining room being a bit untidy. But, when only one is working I can see why it would be hard to get to when you're busy. No complaints. 👍

They refuse all coupons all together. They don't care if it digital or paper. They denied they all at Pine Mountain location. I take business to another subway that accept coupons. If I could contact corporate I would tell corporate about how this location denies coupons but yet one website it said as long as they good they have to take them for digital. Paper coupons they can have choice if it said participating U.S. restaurants. I wouldn't recommend this location for any visitors coming to visit the area.

I just left this particular location. The girl they had in there was alone for starters. That’s not safe, small town or not. Secondly she had a smart mouth. I asked her about the cheese because I can’t see it. We can see all the other sandwich items, but not the cheese. I asked her what the cheeses were, as in how they looked. She’s like, “there’s a list right there?”. Yea, I can read quite well, but what normal person knows what Monterey Jack cheese looks like just off the name? Girl, SHOW ME THE CHEESE? I came on behalf of my parents, but I won’t be back.

I went in yesterday (10/10/2024 @ 1:30pm). I told the first lady what type of sandwich I wanted the bread cheese and I wanted it toasted. She put it in the toaster then the other girl who was going to do the topping took it out but I asked her to change gloves and thats when all hell broke out. I asked her to change gloves even said please but I asked her to change because the gloves she had on she had on when she wiped food off the counter she had them on when she went to the back to get a container. I said can you please change your gloves then she started to get very rude and then the other lady jumped in. It was a simple request and I even said please. Very rude!

February 22, 2024 2:20pm Disrespectful Personnel called back to let them know they left my tomatoes off didn’t cut my onions or bell peppers & gave wrong dressing in bag. I was just gone ask could I bring back get the things that was missing and stuff. The lady told me she didn’t have time for me my complaints n not fixing to argue. I said no 1 is arguing but put your manager on please since u don’t have time for a customer. Hung up I called back she still in back ground being rude after another young lady answered and was very polite n said the lady that was being rude was the manager LoL I said can u take my number to have your area manager call me This was the Worst Customer Service disrespectful person in management they could have Subway definitely needs to do better

The employees are rude to customers. I've been going to this location for years and in 2022, the quality of service and food has gone downhill. The store is dirty and the employees are disrespectful to tourists in Pine Mountain. The food is ok, but not worth going through how the employees will treat you when you visit this location. Go to 3 Little Pigs instead where they appreciate tourists and will provide excellent customer service and quality food.

This place was a great way to spend a few hours but my parents felt a little unsafe in the rented van. The bus tour is also not recommended because it is way to fast and you barely get to touch the animals. Bring your own vehicle because the animals are very hungry!(just kidding there are boards around saying they are well fed and you are basically giving them healthy treats!) The experience was great and I enjoyed hanging around the animals and taking pictures but for next time I recommended getting 1 bag of food for each passenger because we finished all the food before we got to the middle.

Pine Mountain version of Lion Country Safari I grew up visiting Lion Country Safari in Florida. This was a place where you could drive your car through the enclosure with wild animals. You did not feed them but it put you really close to the animals. We were visiting Callaway Gardens and decided to see what else is in the area. This is one of them. It is really a hidden gem for the area. It is fairly easy to get to and has plenty of parking. They have a small gift shop and a small zoo with several animals in enclosures to include big cats. If you feel adventurous you can buy a bag of food and drive into the large enclosure and feed teh larger animals. You have a choice of driving through the enclosure in your own car or renting a vehicle from the company. We drove our own car but, in hindsight, may rent their car on the next visit since some of the animals peck or scratch your car aggressively to get you to give them food that they know most cars who open windows have. We drove through, at time almost at a standstill from animals that lay down in front of the car hoping to get us to put food out. When you did, they move out. It is a large enclosure and took us about 15-25 minutes to drive the loop. It was a lot of fun and interesting to feed the animals but be ready to have them stick their heads totally into your car and slobber all over you. If you have kids or love animals, I would definitely recommend doing the drive through and supporting this park.

We had a fantastic time at Wild Animal Safari! The drive-through experience was amazing, with so many animals to see and feed. The walk-through area was also a highlight, with some cute smaller animals. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, and the whole experience was well-organized. Highly recommend this affordable and unforgettable experience!

Animals were friendly. Buy food for them. Ration out the food, there are lots of hungry animals. Long (nice) drive through the park. Walk through the walking zoo. If you buy tickets in advance, it has to be at least the day before.

I am not a fan of any type of animals. However, I wanted to take my niece somewhere fun because she loves animals. I have to say I absolutely loved my visit to Wild Safari! The bus ride was incredible. While I didn't feed any animals, it was so fun to seeing the animals. Our driver was very funny! You can ride the bus as many times as you want. The zoo was amazing! The animals on the trail and at the zoo looked very healthy. The animals in the zoo part had nice habitats. I will definitely be visiting here on a yearly basis. It was also nice to be able to get a snack before walking to the zoo. Also, the prices for tickets are very reasonable.

My family and I have been here twice now and we love it! It is pricey (for us) but we still do not regret paying for the experience we have. We understand that this goes towards caring for the animals and paying the staff to do so, so it makes sense! We had such a great time here and recently did the sloth encounter as well. It was so fun and McKenzie was very informative and patient with our hundreds of questions. She is awesome! We will be coming back for sure. My daughter is 3 and wants to touch and hold every animal she sees, so when she is big enough for an encounter, we will do one for her too! 🙂

Thank you Righteous for explaining everything such a calm spirit. The staff here are lovely the customer service is impeccable the animals are kept very well. Worth the drive from Charlotte NC. I would recommend renting a van from them which is ressonable in price. Wishing everyone peace, and love! ☺️

We've been coming to this adorable quirky cat store for many years now when we travel to the Pine Mountain area. My daughter collects the tiny clay cat sculptures and I collect the Pete the Cat Artwork and books. We love all the handmade quality art sold here. I would decorate my entire home from this store if I could afford it 😂❤️ It's an excellent place to shop for a unique gift or statement piece of your decorating. My kids say that the store cat is their favorite part! My favorite part is their large selection of Pete The Cat books and Merch... That selection has never failed us all these years of shopping there. The staff and shop cat are very friendly also and the parking is conveniently right out front by the door.

Yes, it is lots about cats and that is adorable. This shop offers original artwork and so much unique merchandise. The shop itself is loaded with charm and every inch of the shop is beautifully arranged. It is a fun shop complete with a handsome feline friend keeping an eye on things. The owner is also a framer and her work is stunning!!!

Love this place! It's a fantastic place to pick up art of all kinds. Everyone is nice every time we go, and even though he's a little anti-social, they have a shop cat. (The shop cat is probably both the best and worst employee.) We took in some art to be framed, and everything was taken into consideration when showing us various frames. From the obvious of price limit to how the frame would look with the color of fillet we chose, mixed in with the matting, of course. All of it was zero pressure as the main goal was to stay within budget and be beautiful. There are a lot of items in this shop! From the obvious art prints to candles, jewelry, journals, and even some fun clay critters. There are so many various styles of items that I feel I could do a good amount of shopping for holidays and special occasions and feel like I got something charming each time. If you are even near the area, it is worth it to drop in, sniff a few candles, and take in the art displayed. You might even get to see the ultra cute shop cat. 💖

A treasure trove of historical information about Harris County. Exhibitions on prehistoric, native Americans and rotating exhibitions. Plan to spend at least 45 to 50 minutes, walking through all of the well done and expertly presented exhibitions. Consider leaving a small donation to support the efforts made by mostly volunteer work here. And wow, how about that red caboose! Make sure to add this when in Pine Mountain, Georgia

Atmosphere is charming and I absolutely love the big patio where you can sit with your doggy! Prices are reasonable and the food was excellent! The owner was very sweet. Highly recommend

Pine Mountain the perfect small town in Ga to visit!!! Many attractions, like, Callaway Gardens, FDR State Park, Animal Safari, and the new Dinosaur Park! Shops like Wisk, FDR Welcome Center Store and many more! Restaurants like Eddy Mae's, The Oyster House, The Whistling Pig, and FDR Country Store and Restaurant!!!! I recommend a visit to the Pine Mountain Area!!!!!

Nice and quiet, but the management is not helpful, will not fix anything with units, they add or raise prices to your rent without any warning. Lots of abandoned trailers, they always have excuses on why stuff can't be done or fixed. They put work orders in. But nothing is done about it.

My family has been living here exactly a year now... If you have any problems with anything they are quick to fix and don't hassle you about getting anything fixed.. the dumpster area here actually stays cleaned!!! The rent here is the lowest that we have found in the area, very affordable!!! If you have any problems at all just talk to the landlord.. honesty is always the best policy! Most of us living here now help each other out, all of the kids usually play together here so its more than just renting a home but a family i guess you could say 😊

Very tasty dishes, good drink, and good service. Although I gave The Kitchen five stars, it is more relative to area where it’s located. While the fish I had for dinner was very good, it wasn’t a very sophisticated setup. I also had salad with the meal that was very satisfying. Drink menu includes a good list of wines and craft beers. Service was prompt and friendly. Dessert (Key Lime Pie) was good but not a 5 star in itself. Our bill was $97 with tip for 3 persons with two adult beverages. Recommend calling in advance to check on a reservation or go early, especially on a holiday weekend.

My wife and I loved this place. The food was amazing. My wife had a grilled cheese sandwich and I had a turkey and ham melt. Both were delicious and fresh. In addition, the Turkey bean soup was spicy and perfectly balanced so there weren't too many beans. My wife said the dill tomato soup was a prefect complement to her grilled cheese. They also had various teas in both large and small teapots. I had the small apple cinnamon tea, which was three cups. Service was a little slow, but friendly. We had no wait time being seated, but the place is small and it was fairly busy when we arrived midday on Wednesday. I can see this place being full and having a wait time for dinner or during a holiday/weekend due to its size and laid back service. There did not appear to be a waiting area, so be prepared if you need to wait and the weather is not ideal. We really enjoyed finding this place for lunch and plan to return when we visit Callaway Gardens.

This place was amazing. The salads was absolutely delicious, but if you like a lot of dressing on your salad, I would consider asking for extra. If your planning on attending big events here, they will only serve two dishes as of 2019. All of the deserts are delicious, and I would so consider getting some. Service was great, and pleased to do anything you wish. Absolutely deserved 5 stars.

We arrived early for lunch. We did wait for a few minutes initially, I assume to allow them time to print out the daily lunch menu. I love the "old country store" theme through out the restaurant. Very relaxing. Our food was really delicious and fresh. The tomato rosemary bisque was so wonderful paired with the triple grilled cheese. Yum! My fiance said that burger was in his top 10 favorites list of all time. That's saying a lot because he eats burgers everywhere we go! He said the pimento cheese made it so creamy and delicious. I can't wait to go back!

A nice surprise in one of our favorite places. We have been visiting Pine Mountain, staying at FDR State Park, for 20 years every Labor day weekend. Good food and exceptional service; have dined there since our friends wedding reception five years ago. It has changed management but the new owners are doing a good job. Go there and enjoy.

Really cool place! Small, very small, very quaint and imagine fairly quiet. Good place for a romantic meal. My wife had scallops and I had the trout. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meal. Vegetables were fresh. Best arugula I've ever tasted! Turns out the chef grows it on his farm. It was like no other arugula!

First visit, prices were reasonable for town. Promptly seated, near immediate delivery of chips & salsa and request for drink orders. Needed some time to review menu. Once ordered, drinks came quickly. Entrees arrived in reasonable time. Good temperature and very tasty! Only negatives were salsa needed more onion & cilantro, and hot sauce was pretty tame. It was crazy busy as we left for Tuesday night, very loud in dining room. Note credit cards assessed transaction fee, use cash to avoid.

First time trying the place out. We come the Pine Mountain often to ride bikes, like many others. I went for the Steak Verde enchiladas. Dish was well cooked and plated. Service was excellent and very prompt and friendly. Lighting was a little dim (as you can see in the photos). In spots, the ceiling looked like it was about to fall. Idk.. it felt older than it probably was? No real complaints. Quaint spot. Worth a shot if you're in town or passing through. Give the small town spot a try 👍

I came here for the first time the other day with my wife. She's been many times but we lived out of town for many years and just came back. My first experience wasn't so great, food came fast, service was fast and most of the food was good. However, I got the chicken and rice plate and it just tasted funky. Everything else was great. My wife loves this place and since it was my first time, ill definitely give them another chance. Something tells me it's worth it. Once I return, I'll update.

Amazingly authentic Mexican cuisine. Food was absolutely delicious and the service was so fast I thought that our waiter had a twin. Definitely recommend this pace if you want a cozy chill spot to enjoy some a-1 food

Stopped in with my family while passing through town, choosing this spot based on local reviews. I was initially a bit hesitant due to the building’s exterior, but the glowing feedback convinced us to give it a try—and I’m so glad we did! The interior was clean and inviting, the service was quick and attentive, and the food was excellent. The salsa was some of the best we’ve had anywhere. Prices were very reasonable, and the place was packed for dinner on a weekday—a great sign that it’s a local favorite. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

This restaurant was highly recommended from the staff at the lodge where we were staying and I will admit that they were right. The food was absolutely amazing, and the staff was top notch. The only warning I have for you about this place is to show up early, because they fill up quick! But… the wait is totally worth it!!! You will not be disappointed.

I'm pretty disappointed. It is a beautiful place but seemed very unkempt. It's been a long time since we've visited, and we were upset to see the horticultural center closed down and decaying. Cason's garden was about 50% weeds and mostly flowers. (It's supposed to be a veggie garden). The chapel was as gorgeous as ever! If you're going to go to the beach while you are there, it might be worth the price, but otherwise, not so much.

Went here for the pumpkin crawl. Pretty nice. We'll thought out. There was also 2 corn mazes and a pumpkin maze for the kids. This provides a good option for the entire family. Just make sure you go closer to dark so the lights pop.

Great labor day balloon glow. Enjoyed seeing the balloons light up to the music. Nice beach. Kids liked the water obstacle course

The pumpkin festival was an incredible experience! We went on a Friday night and it was very busy, but I enjoyed almost more than the Christmas lights. It was a very fun experience for our 2 year old

Venue itself is really neat, pretty well kept and not littered. Concessions don't seem overpriced. The downsides - no true changing rooms or indoor shower, only outdoors showers and bathrooms. Also, no lockers to store stuff. The lifeguards are control freaks and belligerent about even tiny infractions.

What a beautiful place. This lake is a refreshing little retreat from the summer heat. The Aqua Pad provides laughs from participants and spectators alike. They have a limited menu for food and a full bar. A local band provides good music later in the day. I would definitely recommend this place and will certainly be coming back.

This is my new secret hide away. We had fun! They have mini golf course, paddle boats and more to do here. It was not crowded at all. This was the perfect day get away. They have two bars near the beach which served the best drinks. They also have food venues and if you don't want that, you're more than welcome to bring your own coolers with your goodies. They offer a season pass for the summer months for $45 which is great. The pass is good through May to September. Check out Calloway Gardens you will not be disappointed, it's only an hour and twenty minutes away from Atlanta and very relaxing.

Enjoyed visiting this Pine Mountain Icon. The service was friendly and fast, with reasonable prices. The food was good, and there was more of it than I could eat. My particular favorite was the fried green tomatoes, and the mustard BBQ sauce. I will definitely plan to visit here again.

If you looked up Georgia-Q, this should be the place referenced. Delicious, Simple, Traditional. The perfect little sandwich. The Brunswick Stew is major league. The Slaw is INCREDIBLE. The Staff was super nice. Came in when it was slammed and still got through the line in 5mins. Definitely worth the stop in!

What a great barbecue restaurant! Wife said the ribs were as good as any she had ever had, I love my cheesburger which was smoked! I highly recommend you go here even if it looks busy because it will be busy because it is so good! The line was long but moved very quickly, I have no complaints at all will eat here when we come back to FDR.

Great local spot. The food was so good we went back another day. Staff are so friendly and so many locals eat here that are also very friendly. Pork skins are the best we have ever had in all our travels. Definitely will be back when in the area.

Excellent BBQ! Pulled pork was outstanding and they nailed the sauce. The fries are those sweet fresh cut kind that are absolutely delicious. Do yourself a favor and go here if you’re in Pine Mountain. Service was surprisingly quick. Naturally there was a long line (it’s that good) and once you place your order it’s really fast. Perfect tea too. Absolutely what I’d expect from a good BBQ joint.

Best BBQ in Harris County and Muscogee County. Brisket and pulled pork are always excellent. Their hot BBQ sauce is my absolute favorite. My wife loves the mild BBQ sauce. They make and sell their own pork rings. They are the best I've ever eaten.

From the folks that run the place to the experience our 4 year old grandson had, it was fantastic! He loved this place so much, seeing the different kinds of dinosaurs, he dug fossils out of the sand boxes, rode the bikes they had there and the gift shop was loaded and had great prices. Definitely will Christmas shop there!

Our kids really loved it here. I highly recommend it if they love dinosaurs. We went during their night show with the lights and they had a blast. Will be coming back during the day. The owners were extremely nice as well. The sound effects and music at night were perfect.

My grandson enjoyed his self so much the dinosaurs were so nice and realistic along with the fact that they had trikes water sprinklers sandbox for fossil digging and a laser show to to end the day the gift shop was amazing they have gifts starting at a dollar all the way up the price for this adventure was amazing a short ride from Atlanta ga well worth the ride atmosphere was beautiful all the kids got along with each other there was a birthday party going on while we were there so much to do I recommend this place it was clean and we really enjoyed ourselves they have picnic benches for the parents to sit and watch the kids enjoy

It is a great place for a birthday. It is mostly outside and you can see the kids without having to run after them and it is fence in.

In town for Gardens Lights. Came here due to closest place open on Sunday in downtown. Food was good. Service was lacking but caught up. Seemed to be a popular spot. A little run down as you could tell an old waffle spot, but food made up for it.

If you ever visit Callaway Gardens Spa & Resort, you must go to the Oyster House while you're in the area! The restaurant is less than 10 minutes away from the resort, and while it's a relatively small place with modest decor, the food, cocktails, and service are fantastic! I have an oyster and shrimp platter with some catfish added to it and was extremely pleased with the taste and huge portion! Super fresh, hot, crispy oysters, shrimp, fish, and fries with creamy coleslaw, pickles, and onions on the side. Delicious!

What a shock to see the prices at this restaurant! I went with a friend who was in mood for oysters. Not being a shellfish lover, I looked for an alternative. I know restaurant prices have gone sky-high, but the cheapest dish, with the exception of side dishes, was mac and cheese for $10.99. Since the sides were $4.95, I decided to get a side Cesar salad. The size was about a handful as shown in the picture. Needless to say, this is not a place I'd try a second time. The ambiance is not seaside, seafood, but fast food, loud, cluttered, and not very clean.

First time here...had 2 waters, 1 sprite, hush puppies appetizer and crab with shrimp dip, chicken fettuccine Alfredo, shrimp bucket, fries, ribeye with rice pilaf and side of Mac and cheese....$130ish dollars. Place is very old, like a waffle house on the inside, was glad there was outdoor seating on a nice day! Server was very flat, not rude just couldn't care to be there. Anything we had with cheese, was so "over cheesed" if you will, like no depth of flavor but gobs of cheese and I luv cheese but this was a bit much. Fries were super salty. Hush puppies were good. Chicken was dry and overcooked on fettuccine which was like a bowl of cheese that turned into dripping oil. Ribeye was good for what could be eaten, expect some fat in this cut but almost half of it was fat. Shrimp bucket was good but the cocktail sauce had so much horseradish in it, literally burned my nose and face. This place is way overpriced for the quality of food. One and done is good for me.

The food and service are incrediable. Some of the freshest oysters I have ever had. They have a great drink menu and pour. My only issue is the seating looks straight out of an old huddle house booth. There is no room for heavier clients. There is one table with a chair but the rest is old 1983 booths.

It's always the small towns with the best food. We had a family trip to Callaway gardens for a few days. Adventured into town and found this gem. The oysters were massive and fresh. We had no complaints about any or our food. Large portions and pricing was good as well.

My wife had been here on a prior business trip, so we had to return a couple years later. We had seared catfish with sides for lunch. Everything was delicious. Staff were accommodating and friendly. I liked the shape of the plates -- a sort of rounded-off squarish trapezoid. The restaurant inside is relatively dark. There is a second room in the back with a bar, and outdoor seating as well. There's not much room for parking, and the place is packed and popular, yet still we found a spot to park. If you're passing through Pine Mountain, GA, and you enjoy an old-fashioned fish camp experience, you'll really want to check out the Oyster House. I've posted a few pictures of our experience.

Pine mountain needs choices since Callaway gardens is expensive and mediocre in food. Very small place but great staff making you feel at home. I expected more flavor since there is a Caribbean vibe. Our curry shrimp was bland and veggies over cooked. My catfish and grits was good but needed seasoning. One of the gang had a burger and fries. Burger dry and fries had no salt. Shrimp and grits sprinkled with some left over crumbles of bacon. These 4 dishes was $97.00

Best kept secret since I don't know when. Everything we ate was like straight home cooking. This is a place on the corner that gets way over looked. There should be a line wrapped around the block. Just go! My nephew picked this spot for lunch during our family camping trip to Pine Mountain. I didn’t even know what type of food they had but it did not disappoint! The servers were so friendly and gave great recommendations. I had the Sorrell to drink (a hibiscus, clove, cinnamon tasting tea) and ordered the salmon sandwich with steamed cabbage and carrots on the side. I haven’t stopped thinking about this meal or drink! It was incredible. Others in my party had smoothies and cold pressed juices, burgers, cheesecake, it was all delicious and the perfect spot to cool off for a bit during our trip. The music, the vibes, it was great!

First visit, 6pm on Saturday night. Found an open, clean table with very nice chairs. Noted a number of other empty tables were not cleared for some time, and there was debris on the floor. Our server, Elaina, was prompt, made recommendations, took drink and appetizer orders, and was attentive throughout the meal. We were pleasantly surprised by the generous wine pours. Appetizers arrived in good time. We then ordered an array of sushi rolls. On delivery, the hot items were good temp, everything was tasty. High marks overall for good food and reasonable prices. Low marks for dining room condition, and having customers allowed to stand waiting in the dining area where people are eating... this should be managed better. Will try again on weeknight to see if low points improve.

My husband and I ordered through door dash so we didn’t go into the restaurant. We won’t be eating here again though. This is the second time in a row that we have both become violently ill from eating from here. Be careful eating here. The ladies who work there are always kind so no negative feelings towards them. But as far as food, there are better places in town that you can get a good meal.

When we arrived, there were three empty tables, but all of them were dirty. It took about 40 minutes for our food to arrive, even though only a few tables were occupied. When our food finally came out, it was cold. We also ordered sushi, which had an unpleasant, old smell. I asked to have my plate taken off the bill since I only took one bite, but the waitress rolled her eyes and gave me attitude. By the time we left, those same three tables still hadn’t been cleaned. Overall, it was a disappointing experience in both food quality and service

I pointed at the 3 rolls special for $13 which has fine print only certain hours that I couldn't see and waiter didnt remind it. Ended up paying 26... Waiter did not do good job.

I’m a big fan of sushi and hibachi type food. This place is amazing!! The food is superb and the service is phenomenal. Everything I ate had terrific flavor and came to the table extremely fast. The atmosphere is quite and relaxing. I will certainly be coming back for more and I highly recommend giving this place a try.

We called in an order for pick up and it was ready fairly quick, especially with how busy they were. The inside of the restaurant has been completely renovated and is much more modern and "clean" feeling. The Lagrange roll was fantastic, probably our favorite. We got egg rolls and crab meat cream cheese wonton...both were delicious. Also got a chicken hibachi with fried rice, vegetables, and a salad and a salmon hibachi with fried rice, vegetables, and miso soup. The portions are so big that it fed 3 people, 3 times. The chicken and salmon were cooked just right and seasoned to the perfect taste. The salad was literally only lettuce, which was fine for us but the soup was not good at all. The soup had no flavor and my bf described it as "dirty dish water" But everything else was so great that the soup didn't really matter to us anyway. We are looking forward to trying all of their special rolls and so thankful to have them in Pine Mountain.

Pork was good, as was the sauce. We didn't care for the slaw of baked beans. On my nachos, I didn't realize they were going to drowned them in the slaw, or I wouldn't have gotten any on there. I scooped as much off as I could. Other than that, they were very good. Some of the best pickles tho! Stanger they come as a side, and they don't just add a few to your plate... Very clean and lots of outdoor seating for the warmer weather months! Portions were great size.

I visited Three Lil Pigs with friends a few days ago. It was an interesting place; I definitely got the "Georgia BBQ Joint" vibe when I pulled up. The service was fast, and the prices were reasonable. You get a TON of food! I'm serious; I couldn't finish it all. The Pulled Pork was good; it truthfully wasn't the best I'd had but it was good. The mac and cheese was WAY overcooked; the noodles were pretty much mush. My favorites were the bean and the chips: they were AWESOME. BBQ beans with great flavor (not your average baked beans), and the chips were kettle cooked and had great crunch. The sauce was good, but I like a little more strength to my sauce. All in all, a good visit! I would come back again!

Loved our experience at Three Lil Pigs! We couldn’t find somewhere for our large group (40), and saw the reviews of this restaurant. It did not disappoint!!! They were able to get our orders taken quickly and before we finished filling our drinks, our food was hot and ready! They are incredibly friendly. The food was excellent! Highly recommend this when you’re visiting Pine Mountain!

I very rarely leave a review, but this time I had to. Your first point of contact the lady that took our order at 7:30 pm on 10/09/25 was extremely rude. You could tell she didn’t want to be there. We had never been there before looking at the menu was taking to long for her. The sliced pork sandwich was good. Baked beans and Mac and cheese were cold. We won’t be back. Customer service is important !!!!

Three Lil' Pigs has it going on!! Great tasting food! Friendly staff! Fast service and clean! Big shout out to the entire staff! I ordered the BBQ chipped plate with three sides. My order was ready for me before I could finish putting ice in my cup. Even tho they were slow, you just don't see that very often in today's society. They have indoor, screened-in porch, and outdoor seating arrangements available to eat at. They also had music playing.

It was OK.... Pork sandwich was pedestrian at best. Only one BBQ sauce choice - fair. The bbq beans were sub par. The potato salad and Cole slaw were good. The girl who brought out our food had a day old tattoo that was oozing blood ( yuck)

I am lucky that my job has me in different parts of the United States from Kansas to Texas to the Southern states as far east as jersey. In all these places, the first thing I do is look for BBQ. I have found some great BBQ. Three Lil Pigs is one of those places. Family own and operated. Their ribs and chicken were flavorful tender. The sides I had of Mac cheese and BBQ beans were very, very good. If you are looking for a great BBQ, you should go to Three Lil Pigs BBQ.

This is a good place to eat breakfast! The food was delicious and service was great! I would highly recommend if you are coming to pine mountain ga, come check it out!

Good ole southern food. I wish Atlanta had a great southern restaurant like this one. I will be back when in town.

Drove from Atlanta to test this place out. It's certainly "off the beaten path". The waitress immediately addressed us upon our arrival. She was very courteous! We opted for the buffet. Not a good idea! The salad was ok. The vegetables were alright, they seemed more canned then freshly made. They seemed bland. We were so disappointed. The astetics of the restaurant was disappointing as well. The bathrooms need rehabbing. The ceiling tiles had stains and holes in the restaurant. The outside astetic was not inviting either. It just seems like no one takes pride in the restaurant. But the waitress was really accommodating and helpful. The only redeeming food item was the apple dumpling at the buffet. It was very delicious. I'm glad we knocked this restaurant off our bucket list, but when visiting Pine Mountain again we will give this restaurant a hard pass. And we won't even mention about the price of this buffet: $14. 👎🏼

Fried shrimp delicious. Not overcooked. My husband got combo bucket. 16 peel steamed old bay, sausages, potatoes, corn, crab legs- large cluster. Cooked perfectly. Fast service. Worth driving to Pine Mtn for.

Grabbed a quick breakfast to go. I have bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. Wow the biscuit was amazing. They brought it out to my car when it was ready. Wife had omelet and it look yummy as well. Will certainly come here again if my travels bring me this way.

We really enjoyed our breakfast. We stayed at a local resort and our party of 9 went for breakfast and they were super friendly. The food was really good. There were no complaints about anything. The food was homemade and fresh. I definitely recommend

I loved the food. It’s very filling. Loved the biscuits! Could eat 10 of them. The French toast weren’t good to me. They taste more like bread instead of French toast. I also wished the chicken tenders were more crunchier. Overall food was great and fresh. It’s not a long wait time to get your order.

Beautiful place, cozy atmosphere. The waiting was long, the food was tasty, but served cold instead of hot, pizza cold, the steak barely warm, only the pasta was hot, some of the vegetables not fresh. Found rotten/mold tomatoes in the salad, i showed it to the waitress, she brought us extra tomatoes as compensation, bad ones again, I was told by the waitress that the chef said this is a "type of tomato". 😀. In the end the server offered us not to pay for the salad, but, is not about money, for such a nice place ,( and prices) people expect the food to be fresh .

I went twice while staying at the resort in Callaway Gardens. The service was okay considering it was Labor Day Weekend and there were lots of customers. I loved the crispy Brussels sprouts. Other items could use more seasoning.

Cason’s is located at The Lodge at Callaway Gardens. It is small tavern with a large u-shaped bar along with high top tables. It also has comfy outside seating. Their Grilled Pimento Cheese sandwich with Fried Green Tomatoes was very good. Friendly staff and welcoming setting.

We finished up our massage and decided to try Cason’s because it was within walking distance. It was great that they had outdoor options as the weather was perfect! Our waitress came to our table quickly and refilled our drinks frequently. We decided to try the Brussels sprouts with the blue cheese, bacon and balsamic vinegar and they had a lot of flavor. I ordered the fried green tomato sandwich and it was delicious. The pepper jelly really made that sandwich. My wife ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and said it’s one of the best she’s ever had. We will definitely be going back.

We arrived before dinner crowd; the weather allowed us to eat on the patio. Brian our server was over to take our orders. The soup of the day was a tomato/potato soup- weird combo but it worked. They were out of crackers, but Brian proactively toasted bread and brought that out for the soup - great service! Recommend the Callaway burger - nice balance of toppings that are sweet but balanced by the slightly salt chargrill taste from the beef patty. All in all a great meal and service!

This place was attached to the lodge and a "walk-through" from the other restaurant. It a "Tap Room" but it only had 4 beers on tap, although, they had a good selection. You can only get to Cason's in a car from outside the park later in the afternoon and and early evenings. Not sure about early afternoons. The burger very good and service was excellent.

I had a great experience at Carson Tap Room! The gumbo was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The service was excellent friendly, attentive, and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back!

My wife and I spent a weekend at F.D. Roosevelt State Park, and honestly, we didn’t want to leave. If you’re into hiking, this place is an absolute dream. We hiked the Mountain Creek Loop Trail and loved every step of it. It’s just the right mix of peaceful woods, steady climbs, and surprise views that sneak up on you. The trail winds through shady forest, over small creeks, and past spots where the light filters in just right—like nature knew we were coming. And then there’s Dowdell’s Knob. We drove up after our hike, and wow. You’re standing way up above the hills, looking out over layer after layer of Georgia’s green countryside stretching into the haze. It feels like the kind of place where your thoughts can finally catch up with you—in a good way. Bring good shoes, your favorite person, and a camera. You’ll want to remember how it felt to walk those trails and stand at the edge of that view, just breathing it all in.

Great park. Nice lake. Lots of trails if you like to hike. Nice dock to fish from. Great overlook at the visitor center.

Came with a group of little kids. Very nice experience. We stayed in the group cabin camping area. There are also areas for tent camping and rv camping. Very large park with eough space for privacy. There is electricity In the cabins. Very spacious for large groups. 6 different large cabins with 10 beds in each, there is also a smaller one for a couple or 2. Dinning hall with everything thing you need to prepare full course meals. Just bring your food. Bath hall is separated. One side for men one for ladies each has 5 showers and 4 toliets, and the water gets hot. Lots of open grass great for kids, there is even a fire pit. They also have a Olympic size pool but it was closed because Georgia law require pools to be closed from labor to memorial day. 4 stars because there were lots of spiders in the cabins I know it's outside but it was overwhelming. The archery class doesn't exist anymore, the lake was contaminated so we couldn't canoe, and the maps were not very helpful for people new to the out door world. Other then that I definitely recommend. This was a great an memorable experience!

Absolutely stunning views of the mountains and valleys. Lots of trails to hike. Beautiful cabins to rent. There's a cute store with lots of resonably priced souvenirs. Calaway store down the street has some of the same almost double price!sl Staff is friendly and outgoing.

We have had such an amazing long weekend here I don’t even know where to start with the review! We stayed at 2 different sites in section 6 & they were both great. I would definitely not book in 2,3 or 5 if you’re tent camping bc it just feels like it far away from everything. The bathroom & shower area are exceptionally clean for a camping site. There was no hair in the shower or any real filth at all. I was super impressed with that & im very picky. Water was HOT! It was awesome. We hiked the two smaller trails & had a great time. Both were gorgeous & our family of 5 loved it. The highlight of our trip was def renting a canoe & kayak. We had a fun few hours fishing from the water & just soaking up the sun. I would say the canoes & boats need to be cleaned a little better though. My daughter ended up having a spider on her head & we had to clean it off a good bit before getting into them. But we had the best time paddling around. The park rangers were riding around & making sure everyone was safe, we liked that. I was surprised by how nice everyone followed the 10 pm quiet rule. everyone turns there lights off sharp & we had no noise problems at all . A big shout out to the main gift shop area. The older black lady was SO nice to us. Made us feel right at home & we appreciated her hospitality. The little book station outside the smaller shop was cute and we exchanged a few books during our trip! Was nice to have a playground close by! We went to the liberty bell pool on Saturday & we won’t return. It was pretty historically but the people there were not our type & so loud and obnoxious. Our kids even commented they wanted to leave because of it & they’re 4 & 6. We felt very uncomfortable & the pool water was FILTHY. We were very surprised by the high reviews there. Overall, this was a perfect 3 night stay & we will absolutely be returning here.

Beautiful park with tons of hiking trails. This is definitely a place that you want a map for, it's huge. We didn't even explore all the activities that were available but the park itself is amazing!

Beautiful state park with camping, a beautiful lake for fishing or boating, a large and beautiful spring fed pool, trails, playgrounds, picnic tables and pavilions, a rich history, and more. A great place to visit for sure!

I ordered lemon pepper wings and and a large meat supreme pizza. Everything was delivered fresh and it was delicious. The delivery driver was nice as well. I definitely recommend. (My pics are after eating 😋) 3-2-25 ordered again and not as pleased as before. The steak sandwich bread was a little burnt and very hard. I wanted black olives on half my pizza and it was thrown on after the fact it seems. Taste wasn’t bad though. Decreasing my rating

Love eating here typically but pretty upset when you drive there, pick it up, and then get home to find out this ain't right. Ordered the sweet chili pizza and the BBQ pizza... No sweet chili in sight. Just a pizza with pineapple and chicken. :(

Review is a few days late. Took the bikes up the Man-O-War trail and decided to try out the local pizza spot after. You know, kind of a reward managing the full trail. (Electric bikes 👍 that's the secret lol) Anyway, steak, bacon, mushrooms; nice crunchy yet puffy crust. The only thing that would make it better would have been a shrimp topping. In this area, this ranks as one of my top two spots. All the way out here in Pine Mountain even. And let's be real, it's not that far from Lagrange. This will definitely be kept in rotation. 🤓

Pretty solid pizza quality, especially for the reasonable price. Having custom pizzas made for the buffet is a nice perk.

First time here..went on a Saturday around 3pm, not busy at all. Had a large 2 topping pizza, cauliflower 2 topping pizza, 8 buffalo wings, 2 drinks and a salad...$55. Buffalo wings were really good, sauced just right, not overly spicy, fried well and not overcooked. Cauliflower pizza was good and so was the regular pizza... always a fan of pizza that has enough sauce and isn't dry and the crust wasn't thick but crunchy which I luv. Let me just throw in, they have Pepsi products which are so hard to find these days at restaurants and I luv a good cheat day mountain dew, especially with the little square ice!! Would definitely be back when in town!

Fox’s has always had great food. This location is in a great spot and it has good parking. I dined in on a Wednesday and they had an all you can eat pizza and salad buffet. Everything looked fresh on the salad bar and the pizza looked even better. I had the steak and cheese sandwich with a side of onion rings. I also go 16 buffalo wings as well. Everything was absolutely delicious! I enjoyed the fact the onion rings were battered and not breaded. That’s a plus in my book. The staff was down to earth and kind. The buffet did bring in a crowd. It wasn’t long before the place started to fill up. I will be getting the buffet when I come back. I highly recommend this place if you enjoy pizza.

This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at any chain restaurant. The ladies at the counter acted like I was the biggest inconvenience, although I was the only one at the restaurant. My order was wrong and I hesitated to go back in because of how terrible they were the first time. Reluctantly I went back and at this point five people were in front of me waiting, the tension and awkwardness of the situation in how terrible these women were was unbearable. This restaurant either needs to be shut down or they need to fire the front of house and start over. The gentleman working in the kitchen was hard at work and had no issues with him at all. This was the worst guest experience. A gentleman in front of me mentioned that he knew the owner and he would call him as soon as he got in the car. He was irate mentioning that he knew the owner would just be sitting behind the tv not worried about any of it. Simply sad.

Of all KFC's that I have been to, this was the worst place I have ever visited. I will not be back. The food was ok. The dining area was NOT clean, and the worker's attitudes were awful. If we had read the reviews before going, we wouldn't have went there.

The staff was very rude,my order wasn't correct, they dropped some of the food on to the dirty stainless table and picked it up and put it in the box, left stuff out of my bag , and said nothing the whole time,just looked at me as if I was an inconvenience. Food was terrible obviously. Nasty the place needs to be shut down if they can't get better staff than that.

The employees don’t care and have attitudes when you place an order here. There is no sense of urgency and it’s a real shame how this business is ran. As a resident of the Pine Mountain area, I do not recommend coming to this establishment if possible.

This place has the worst service. Waited 40 minutes for two 3 piece dinners. When I asked about it after 30 minutes, "Kinya" got an attitude and said it takes 16 minutes for extra crispy to cook. I pointed out it had already been 30 minutes. Waited another 10 then "Kinya" asked for my ticket. My order was never put in. "Kinya" never apologized for the mistake. Never again at this KFC!!!

Ordered and paid for 3 piece dinner and got 3 DRUMSTICKS!!!! And they tasted terrible! Will NEVER go back again!
