Beautiful, calm atmosphere. Great place to chill and bond with my daughter, games available for use. We ordered pizza, which was a different style nevertheless was good. Drinks were refreshing, and dessert was a sweet treat. Parking was a breeze, Art Shop on site with a wide variety of souvenirs to suit every budget and culture-friendly products. Recommended for calm ambience and a great time.

Stopped by here driving from San Ignacio to Belize City. Good place to get the family food, souvenirs, and clean bathroom breaks.

Beautiful clean nice hikes, was upset that I arrived and they don't allow pets. Had to go home drop my dog off and go back. Not sure why pets aren't allowed but I didn't read or see anything until I saw a sign when I was already there.

Lovely Park! Easy walk with a few steep spots. I wished I had my swim suit on, the water looked so inviting!

We did an easy trail out to the lookouts on a rainy day. It was a nice way to break up the drive from San Ignacio to Hopkins, but there's not much. It seems like you can swim too on nicer days. Definitely don't need 4wd to get here.

Cool little park right off the highway at the belmopan traffic circle. River overlooks, some cool trails through the jungle, and lots of giant trees and palms. If the weather cooperates be sure to take a swim 😎

A hidden gem on the suburb of Belmopan City. Very easy to access to the diverse eco-system of what Belize can offer. You will be surprised to find all the rich flora and fauna in this small National Park. After some hiking in the moderately graded trails, you can enjoy swimming in the cool Roaring River flowing past the Park, and joining the Belize River.

The park is very nice — trails are interesting with many twists and turns. A lot of up and down — great views of the river — so many plants to see (and birds)! The curator is very pleasant too. The only drawback is that it is so close to the highway that you have traffic/truck noise for most of your hike.

The market is a great place to find good quality and a variety of fruits, veggies and spices that you can't find elsewhere and clothes but sometimes prices get increased because we're Americans and that gets frustrating, it's a shame.

More or less a flea market / farmer's market, one can walk through scores of booths and tables and find a great variety of items. Find fresh vegetables to take home and drink cashew wine alongside. Worth a visit.

I've changed my diet, and avoiding eating too much meat leaned towards blending fruits to consume such within a form of smoothy. I'm juicing it, and to be able to create many many different sorts of superfood the whole concept plays a vital role as when it comes storing goods the shelf life is great. Would not be possible without the local, and the quality of their produce.

Great place to shop on Tuesdays and Fridays when every booth is open, you can find everything from clothes to spices. Seafood and more and every day there are always vendors with the freshest veggies around at great prices.

Was a bit hot but great variety.

It's big but falling apart. It's not too bad but in need of serious upgrade. The rooms are spacious and great for trainings, meetings. Big parking lot.

Venue has lots of potential, but a little run down in terms of the furnishings for the conference/training spaces available for rent. It is clean, WiFi mostly works, A/C functions well.

This is a very nice place for small to medium sized events. The layout was good for people traffic from what parts of the building I visited.

If you have the patience of waiting for an hour and 47 minutes for your meal, this is the place for you. That’s how long it took for my sister and I to get served.The meals are a hit or miss; it can range from bland, delicious to over seasoned. The price is a bit ridiculous for the amount you get served; especially when you can get it elsewhere for cheaper; made in less than 15 minutes and have a consistent taste. When they had just started, this used to be my favourite restaurant in Belmopan but now my opinions have changed. Not really sure what’s going on but I hope it improves. I look forward to that and would write a better review when that happens.

Stopped by and the place is small but impressive. Rope swings are the focal point for seating at a bar overlooking the street. The floor is actual sand . Waitress was kind and helpful. Food was average and reasonable priced. Next time I will use bug repellent at night because I was bug meal for that night.

Every bite was absolutely delicious. The food was freshly made, with great portions at a good price. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. The owner was very personable - you can tell they cook with love of flavor and hosting others. This is the best Indian restaurant we have visited in years.

We enjoyed a tasty dinner at Shekar's place. Shekar prepared it from scratch, and it tasted fabulous. On top of that, he and his family treated us in a very courteous and nice way - we chatted for maybe 30'. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed our meal at a reasonable price. We highly recommend it and will go back!

One of the best Indian meals I've had! The food was amazing, one of those meals where you savor every bite! Portions are huge, service is great and the price is so reasonable! We'll definitely be back! To find, go to the very last restaurant on the left.

Shekar Indian Restaurant has delicious Indian food at great prices. I had the Lamb Rogan Josh and it was absolutely fantastic; all of the side dishes compliment perfectly. For less than $20 you will be filled and possibly have more left for later. 10/10 highly recommended. Update: the fish biryani is fantastic, and the chicken tikka masala is (chef's kiss) 👌🏼.

Visited Belize and made sure to stop by this restaurant because of the location and high ratings. When I tell you it was the best food we had on our entire vacation its not hyperbole at all. We ate at many locations but this chef puts his heart and soul into his food like nobody else. If you are in Belize and dont find your way to Shekar Indian Restauarant - youre missing out! Will definitely return! Kind, warm, and honest family who work hard and treat everyone with open arms.

The place can be extremely busy, as it is near a university. The (vanilla) pudding jelly milk tea is refreshing. The Matcha Oreo Smoothie is delicious. The coffee jelly milk tea & lemon smoothie is so-so.

Ice Point offers a variety of products at amazing prices. They have everything from teas, coffee (hot or cold) smoothies and frappes. Most of their beverages are great, however it is a bit too sweet at least for my palate. They do however, give you the option to adjust the sweetness level so you just have to keep that in mind when ordering. I recommend the ice point tea that has a minty note to it and the strawberry tea, most of which they provide a black or green tea option. Their food is also great, I'm a fan of their roast chicken and chicken salad. It would be nice if they had a loyalty card to accompany their drinks, but I believe they removed that option. In terms of atmosphere, they definitely provide a good environment to eat and it's very clean. The only downside tho would be the wait time, especially if it's between certain hours of the day since they cater primarily to the university populace.

Ice point is mainly for university students but they still cater for passers by and others who are willing to take the trip there. I love the food and the drinks they offer. The green tea is awesome!

Espresso! Great little cafe, run by a Chinese couple. Only place I could find in Belmopan to get a proper cup of coffee. Excellent smoothies too. Food looks good but didn’t try - worth coming for the coffee (and Wi-fi) alone.

Good food, clean and very friendly. Top things to try: Mango Jello Tea, Bubble Milk tea, Icepoint, Cranberry green tea... Basically everything on their menu.. :-)

Food was gross - they burned half the food, skimped on portions, and it tasted like frozen food that was reheated in a dirty microwave. Seriously, staff was chatting for over 20 minutes, and didn’t bother to bring us the quesadillas until we were leaving and asked for the check. Suddenly they gave us the quesadillas “to go” and we asked if they forgot about them. They claimed they didn’t, but when we got home we discovered they were burnt black, and made our entire house stink like burned hair. When we actually ate there, they only gave us 2 thin slices of a small tomato on the burger, and when we asked for a couple more slices of tomato, they brought a plate of them and then charged us $6 for the extra slices, when we just wanted a couple more slices. Also the fries were clearly reheated, and tasted like old stale soggy fries that someone threw into a microwave to make them hot. In addition, the chicken wings were store-bought frozen wings that had simply been reheated at Wingz restaurant. The worst restaurant food we’ve experienced in Belize in the last month.

First time trying their burger and I was very happy. Will definitely try to dine in next time I visit Belize 🇧🇿.

I love their food, but the water and soft drinks are overpriced. If I want something to drink, I tend to go to the shop across the street because I enjoy avoiding paying double for drinks just because it's a restaurant, especially life-giving water. The bathroom is clean and spaceous, but the construction is affecting their atmosphere a bit since it is outside (only the kitchen and restrooms are inside; everyone dines outside near their bar). I tend to get my food to go for this reason. Their BBQ chicken pizza is delicious, but the price you may see on Google is much lower than their actual prices, so remember to double check prices that you see online if you are calling in for take out. I also love their wings, fries and stuffed jalapeños.

I was not happy with the food. The ceviche needed some salt the meat in the nachos was burnt, and the pizza was over cooked .
