Waterfalls
Victoria Falls, known as the adventure capital of Africa, is a symbol of the continent's extraordinary beauty. It is famous for its enormous size and natural pool where visitors can swim. The falls are located at Victoria Falls National Park in Zimbabwe and Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park in Zambia.
Just the place to have a feel on how mighty nature is. Be prepared because there’s no chance you won’t come out dry, despite wearing a rain poncho or not. The views are incredible, although in winter the water flow is bigger so there’s less sight of some of the falls because of the mist.
Juan R — Google review
Incredible, of course! I highly recommend getting to the falls before sunrise. It's early, but the crowds aren't there yet and the falls are amazing at sunrise. About an hour or hour and a half after sunrise head towards the farther falls to see the rainbows over the falls. Each view spot is numbered. For sunrise, views 6-8 are good. For the rainbows 9 and higher are good. Also keep your eyes open for the many different birds and animals including bush buck deer, monkeys, and warthogs. Around 10am the crowds start getting heavy. If you go in the end of the dry season (August-September) the falls are easy to see but not as full. If you go earlier the falls are full but will be hard to see because of the mist created by the falls. Even around September 1st we had places where it was misty enough to obscure the falls and it felt like it was raining on us. Which was welcome relief from the heat! That leads to one other interesting point about the falls. Unlike the surrounding dry landscape, right next to the falls is green and lush. Almost rainforest like. It's an incredible experience. Don't miss the "smoke that thunders" as the local language calls the falls. It cost us $50 per person to enter the park. You do not need a guide for this, just get a taxi ride to the falls, pay the entry fee and enjoy. There is a nice outdoor cafe inside the park entrance. If you're up for a little walk (or you can take a taxi) I recommend walking to the "Lookout Cafe - Wild Horizons" for lunch. You'll pass a number of vendors, perhaps some more warthogs, and a dusty road. I'd estimate it's about 1/3 of a mile walk, maybe 1/2 mile. But it's a nice way to top off a morning at the falls. Enjoy!
Levi W — Google review
The falls are over 1.7 kilometers (5,604 ft) wide and 108 meters (355 ft) high, making them the largest water falls in the world. It is extremely picturesque and popular with tourists and locals. Best to go there early in the morning after 6am to avoid the heat of the day. You can also go in late afternoon. Entry fees are payable, waiting to enter can take 30 minutes even with advance booking. Best go with a guide. The route involves visiting 16 stations offering views from different angles and also the statue of Livingstone. The route is mostly level though there are stairs. Water sprays carried by winds can affect photography and make pathways damp. Walk carefully. There's additional activities such as bungee jumping and abseiling here.

What else can be said of this mesmerizing place. For reasons VFA is considered one of the 7 natural world wonders. Being there can not be described in words so you should just book the trip and visit!
Aleksandar Z — Google review
Victoria Falls had less water due to summer season which made viewing better. We had less must. The helicopter ride over the falls provides excellent views.
Kevin B — Google review
What a beautiful place! Not very busy and lots of personal space to enjoy the fall. It was low season so the falls were not as active as other times of the year but it was great.
Gary L — Google review
What’s not to love about Victoria Falls? Great walk to all the posts. Take lots of pictures!!! Enjoy!
Canyoudoanybetter — Google review
God's majestic wonder. I don't understand why its no longer on the 7 wonders of the world list. Beautiful unexplainable wonder. Its breathtaking. The flora and fauna is like no other. Warthogs (Pumba) hang around like they own the place. The double rainbows 🌈, the roar of the water, the rain, the amazing views at every turn. There are about 20 view points, all amazing.

Sunset Cruise Victoria Falls

The Sunset Cruise Victoria Falls offers a beautiful ride along the Zambezi River, providing a picturesque view of the sunset. While wildlife sightings may vary, it's possible to spot hippos and birds during the cruise. The boat is spacious and equipped with snacks and drinks for guests to enjoy as they take in the scenery. Some visitors also recommend bringing sunglasses and hats for added comfort during the trip.
Amazing experience! My husband and I did the Zambezi Royal Luxury Sunset Cruise and it did not disappoint, we were able to see elephants, hippos, croc, a variety of birds, and a spectacular sunset. The drinks and bites were very good.
Ana S — Google review
The cruise was nice. We went on the small Ra-Ikane boat and enjoyed not having to fight for the view like on the larger boats. The driver and bartender were both wonderful and knowledgeable. The snacks provided were delicious and the selection of drinks was adequate. We saw lots and lots of animals, especially elephants and hippos! It would have been a 5 star experience except that I absolutely hated the chairs. You're sunk down so low in the boat you can't see anything if you're seated. It was hard to get the whole view, look for animals, and stay connected with the rest of my group. I get that the chairs are trying to stay in the style of the boat, but they really took away from my experience.
Cara C — Google review
What a experience, we saw hippos and some elephants but most beautiful of it all was the sunset!! This was relaxing, snaks and drinks where served. We went with the shearwater group and the staff was awsome. Definitely a must do when in Zimbabwe.
Louis E — Google review
We went on the sunset cruise down the Zambezi. The scenic views were amazing. The cruise came with unlimited drinks including soda water beer wine and spirits. Service was good. There are two seating floors and you will find out your assigned deck upon entering the boat. The ticket also came with an appetizer which consisted of cold and soggy cheese sticks. After the appetizer we were served cold dry chicken on a stick and a mini chicken sandwich with lettuce and sause. For dessert we got a stale brownie. For the cost of the ticket ($54 pp) you can’t expect much out of the food department. However the company did take it upon themselves to serve food as such they should serve edible food. Seats were plastic yard chairs with a table. There were 4 chairs to each table. You best hope your shuttle gets there first and you don’t end up with an outside seat as others were not keen on moving to ensure each party had at least one person facing the water. The views were great and drinks were flowing as such overall average cruise.
Caroline L — Google review
An amazing experience. Room for only 10 or 12 with all you can drink basic spirits wines and beers with snacks. Comfortable personal boat with 2 extremely knowledgeable staff. They showed us some of the best views of the river banks they steered the boat as safe and close to the wildlife as possible. It was spectacular.
Suzanne H — Google review
So good from the great Bus driver there (Leo) to the excellent layout of the boat, to the excellent staff and food, beyond expectations! All inclusive of spirits, great wine and after dinner drinks!! Saw dozens of hippos but no other animals. Thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend!
Angie G — Google review
Oh wow this was the best part of our trip to Victoria Falls and the experience was awesome and really worth it. A cruise up the Mighty Zambezi is an absolute must if going to the Falls and so beautiful to boot. We were privileged to also do the dinner cruise which was delicious 😋. We saw hippo and elephant and were fortunate enough to watch a huge male swim across the River channel and get onto one of the islands. He gave us a regal sway of his head and tusks when he came out the water, which really was a sight to behold. Thank you to Daniel the captain and Goodwill our very friendly and helpful waitron.
John T — Google review
Beautiful ride along the Zambizee river, large boat so not able to get too close to shore. Did not see a lot of wild life on our trip, but did see a few hippo and a few birds. However is still a pretty ride at sunset. Do plan on taking sunglasses/ hat as it gets hot. They do serve snacks and drinks on the boat, which were nice. There was a variety of items, though the food items were paced slowly throughout the boat ride. As it begins at dinner time, if you think you may want food quickly I suggest getting a snack before coming.

Elephant's Walk Shopping & Artist's Village is a unique shopping attraction in Victoria Falls Town, Zimbabwe. It features local artists and craftsmen selling a variety of sculptures, ornaments, vases, and other artworks. The village is located close to major hotels and offers a diverse range of high-end silver smiths, jewellery studios, artisan galleries, and boutique souvenir shops set in a tropical garden environment.
What a great little market to shop at while visiting Victoria Falls! There's a great selection of local art and artists and some truly incredible artwork can be found here. The Brooks Cafe inside is a great place to grab an iced coffee while you peruse the different boutiques. There's absolutely something for everyone here and the atmosphere is excellent. Definitely check it out!

Beautiful small market. Very clean, friendly and helpfull staff. Some very interesting items on sale. Do have a look out for the Rastafarian vendor and his lovely interactive art pieces...and the stories that goes with the art. Very entertaining and worth to stand and watch for a while.

Great market that you can buy every everything and the best souvenirs from your travels. Many shops, great handmade stuff, beautiful things. Remember always ask about price in 2-3 places, because the same things can cost different money :)

Great gems 💎 of the town. It has different shops within selling Art 🎨, clothes... There are also spots for foods and drinks. It is worth a visit.

Nice place to walk with prices on steroids. The same souvenirs ( wooden animal figures) I bought in Cape Town 4 times cheaper

$$$ Overpriced. Nice shopping village with lot of nice things to consider however the high prices will make you think twice before you buy anything. There are no price tags and shop keepers will throw you a price based on what they think you could pay. I prefer the two markets on either side of this village which are more flexible in prices if you like bargaining. There is a small cafe inside for a quick drink or some refreshments.

Mukuni Big Five Safaris offers a unique and thrilling experience to walk with wild lions, the ultimate kings of the jungle. Visitors can interact with these endangered cats in their natural habitat without any leashes or sedatives. The lush greenery and breathtaking views of the Zambezi river add to the serene atmosphere of this adventure. Guides ensure safety while providing an up-close encounter with these majestic beasts, making it an unforgettable and humbling experience for anyone seeking an adrenaline rush in Africa.
We visited in August 2022 and this place is a must do experience. We arrived and was greeted with a drink and we signed a few forms then our guide explained all the safety rules and off we went to meet the lionesses. There was at least 5 guides with our group of 3 and another group of 2 and the guides talk you through how to approach the lions and how to pat them really hard, they take amazing pictures and videos for you on your phone and they interact with the lions which makes you feel at ease and also makes you laugh. These animals are well looked after and cared for and the team of guides and all staff do an amazing job looking after them. I would 100% recommend this to everyone who visits this part of Africa. Thank you for the once in a lifetime experience and a lifetime of memories.

Beautiful place and I really liked seeing the tigers and white lion although I expected more of the big 5 as that is the name but only animals we saw were lions, tigers and caracals. Would recommend

Lovely experience. Friendly staff and nice food. We did the lion walk and viewing. These caged cats are big and a marvel to see. Planning a return, hopefully this time to find the cubs are around - wanna try cub feeding!

A visit to Mukuni Big Five offers an unforgettable lion encounter. Guests can walk alongside these majestic animals in a safe, guided experience that promotes awareness and conservation. The lions, semi-habituated for human interaction, allow for respectful observation and close-up moments. Adding to the experience are the exceptional staff: Elinah at the reception warmly welcomes guests with genuine hospitality; Vanessa at the restaurant ensures every meal is served with care and a smile; and Grania, the knowledgeable guide, leads the lion walks with passion and expertise. Together, they make the visit both thrilling and deeply memorable for every guest.

Livingstone Crocodile Park is a must-visit attraction in Livingstone, Zambia. Situated on the banks of the Zambezi River, it offers a fascinating experience with professional tour guides providing insights into crocodiles, snakes, turtles, and chameleons. Visitors can even touch harmless snakes and hold fragile but cute baby crocodiles.
Place is quite and so good... Guide is so friendly they have a massive crocodile... Called Godzilla. They can feed the crocodile with you pay, which is good, in future which leads to sponsors for crocodile feeding and care. Need more varities of crocodiles, need more animal care takers. Please find the price list from the pics.
Lakshmi K — Google review
Small park, will take you max an hour if going slowly. I enjoyed it but it was a bit concerning that a fair amount of the reptiles had no heat source in their enclosures - snakes and baby crocs. Larger crocs seem well fed and happy, nice enclosures and they have friendly staff. No place to eat here, just a few snacks.
Astin B — Google review
I generally dislike zoos or places with captive animals. However, Livingstone Crocodile Park also serves to protect the public (and the animal) by removing "man-killers" from the community. This one good step toward human/animal conflict. The guides are very knowledgeable of the area and of each individual croc. Great learning experience. Today's price: K100 for locals, $10 for foreigners.
Craig N — Google review
We had a wonderful time with our tour guide Mbakala. He was knowledgeable and quite fearless, getting into the crocodile pen with one of the maneaters and showing us how they attack. The kids were terrified and entranced. Some sites list them as not being open on Wednesdays but now they are open every day.
Ben A — Google review
Very cool place to visit that only takes about an hour. I recommend buying 2-3 chunks of meat for the keeper to feed the Crocs.
Tyler P — Google review
Ideal for family outings and educational tours.
Elijah M — Google review
The Reptiles in the park were kept really in a bad condition hence I am rating this 3 stars. They treated the chameleon very brutally and also the turtles were in bad condition. The crocodile was injured and the guide was playing around troubling the Black Mamba. I really regret visiting this place looking at the bad condition the reptiles were kept
Rahul P — Google review
I loved how natural the aesthetics and feel of the park were. We got quite a real experience there as we got quite close to the crocodiles in their habitat. The guide was great too, very informed, friendly, and gave us an awesome tour. It was also quite affordable to visit, with not much of a difference between local, resident and tourist fees.

The Cassia Restaurant, formerly known as the Palm restaurant, is a top-tier dining establishment in Victoria Falls. Situated at Ilala Lodge Hotel, it offers an unparalleled menu and an extensive wine selection featuring carefully chosen wines from South Africa's renowned vineyards. The restaurant's serene ambiance provides a perfect setting for a remarkable dining experience within earshot of the gentle rumble of Victoria Falls.
Our food was delicious. The service was perfect. The waiting time was almost inexistent. We did enjoy our time there.

Had the Crocodile Crumble and Ostrich filet. Enjoyed them both having never eaten any of them. The croc was crab cake like and the ostrich is like a steak. They pair them beautifully with other accompaniments and it tastes wonderful. Be adventurous and enjoy the food. The service can be relaxed and the piano player was fantastic. So just enjoy your time and the atmosphere.
Joseph M — Google review
We stopped by The Cassia restaurant without a reservation and were seated right away, which was a nice surprise. The atmosphere had the feel of an old American style estate, with a quiet and slightly formal vibe. While the setting was pleasant, the food was just passable, nothing especially memorable. Still, it was an enjoyable visit and worth checking out if you are in the area.

One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was absolutely amazing every dish full of flavour and beautifully presented. Tatenda was an outstanding waiter, full of energy and warmth, and really made us feel welcome. Miles is an incredibly talented musician, and his live performance, including our song requests, made the evening truly special. I honestly couldn’t fault this place. Highly recommended!

The staff is excellent. The food didn't disappoint, highly recommend the ostrich steak, tempura hake, and the cheesecake with coconut ice cream! I also had the sous vide chicken which was pleasant, but the risotto it sat atop was amazing.

Avani Victoria Falls Resort offers bright and sophisticated rooms and suites, along with four dining options, an outdoor pool, and a spa. Guests have praised the comfortable accommodations, welcoming staff, and fantastic food and drinks. The cultural dinner at the Boma is highly recommended. Despite hosting a large conference during one guest's stay, there was no disruption to their experience. The resort's proximity to Victoria Falls makes it an ideal location for visitors.
This resort made our trip fantastic! The staff took great care of every need and request. The room was perfect for our family. And the location is TOP notch! You have free unlimited access to the Zambian side of the Falls, and that alone is worth it. But also being on the same compound as The Royal Livingstone was amazing. The food at Avani is limited and the drinks are overpriced, but other than that it was so great!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Avani Resort in Livingstone during a work conference, and the experience exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by a warm and professional team that made check-in smooth and pleasant. The natural surroundings are simply stunning — waking up to the sights and sounds of wildlife and lush greenery was both refreshing and inspiring. The resort's close proximity to Victoria Falls, one of the world’s natural wonders, made the experience even more memorable. Being able to walk over and enjoy the falls during downtime was a truly unique benefit. The conferencing facilities were top-notch: well-organized, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a successful event. In between sessions, we were treated to a fantastic selection of meals — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The dining experience alone is worth a mention! The blend of professionalism, comfort, and natural beauty makes Avani Resort a perfect choice for business travelers, vacationers, or anyone looking for a unique stay in Livingstone. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and would gladly return. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing family holiday for our dad’s 80th birthday at Avani. The resort is perfectly located for walking an easy 2-3 minutes to take in the breathtaking Victoria Falls. There are wildlife wandering freely around the resort including the resident giraffes. Our room was comfortable and spacious and cleaned daily. The breakfast buffet was enjoyable and had a wide variety to choose from. Above all else, the staff are absolutely amazing, attentive & so friendly! We had the pleasure of having so many beautiful people look after us. Special mention to Memory who made each meal a truly special time! We met Chef Teddy who made our dad’s birthday memorable with his delicious food and personal attention! We hope to be back to Avani again! Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very accomodating and able to help us with our transport, activities, laundry, money changing - whatever we needed. Breakfast is a fabulous hot and cold buffet which we looked forward to every morning! The dinner/lunch menu could be more extensive - but perhaps this is because we stayed 7 nights and did have a few meals at the resort. The room was average size, and we were lucky enough to stay on the first level, which meant we had a balcony. We were also at the back of the resort overlooking the grounds, which meant giraffes were literally off our balcony - rather than the inner rooms which overlook the pool are and are a lot less private. Access to the falls is literally at the back of the resort, so excellent location.

Avani is excellent facility with state of the art equipment and nicely located. I will never forget memories for this wonderful resort. I would encourage most of you to sample the cosy atmosphere at this resort more especially with your families.
Albert M — Google review
The staff is very friendly but the service is way too slow. We waited about 30/40min to get a soup and a chicken kebab served. The room had a strong smell of painting and was full of mosquitoes despite the window and doors being closed all the time. We spend about an hour before bed chasing them which is not ideal. The positive point of this stay was to see Zebras and Giraffes wandering around the garden, that was truly incredible but I wouldn’t stay there again. It’s way too expensive for what it is. If you’re a new traveller you would probably be amazed by everything but if you’re an experiences traveller you shouldn’t set high expectations. The Livingstone Royal Hotel next to the Zambezi river is a lovely place but again, service way too slow and $150 USD dollar for two stew full of bones and almost no meat, there’s something to work on there.

Loved this place it's an absolute gem! The beautiful, comfortable thatched chalets have an indigenous feel that's so charming, and the bathrooms with natural cement finishes are a unique touch. The gym facing the Zambezi River is a highlight - working out on the edge of the river is exhilarating! The live band and music during dinner added to the ambiance, and the sunset views are simply breathtaking - it's like journeying with the sun as it sets. The menu is vast and delicious, and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Overall, I highly recommend this lodge for its stunning views, excellent amenities, and warm hospitality.

Beautiful location, friendly staff, but facilities in process of a very necessary refresh. Liked · The dinners at the main restaurant upstairs were poor. The breakfast was EXCELLENT, and the Bar Restaurant for snacks, lunch and dinner down by the river was very good. Disliked · The property is under a much needed refresh and upgrade. I am sure it will be stunning again when the upgrades are completed, but it did result in some construction noise during the day from morning to afternoon, so not much serenity on the mighty Zambezi.

This is a really nice hotel located just a short drive/shuttle bus ride away from the Victoria Falls in Livingstone, Zambia. We had a great welcome with hot towels, drinks and music. Our room was excellent with partial views over the Zambezi river, and has all the facilities you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Lunch on the deck overlooking the river was excellent, followed by a sunset river cruise including food and drinks. Breakfast is buffet style and offers an excellent choice. We then visited the falls and returned to the hotel for dinner, again in the restaurant overlooking the river. There is an infinity pool which also overlooks the river. An excellent hotel that I can highly recommend 👍

Awesome place. Hotel just on the banks of the Zambezi river. Great Boat cruise offered. Great food. Beautiful scenery.
Shikati S — Google review
Went here for lunch after the falls as a walk in the service was good however 3 of our 7 orders came completely wrong with over half the meal missing and dietary requirements ignored. After asking for compensation for the missing food we were told that compensation or any form was not possible. When the bill came there was confusion over the price due to two payments on card and one in cash and we ended up overpaying for a meal that could only be considered unprofessional. Overall if you are coming here take caution over what you order and look over the bill with a keen eye.

So following recommendations from friends and family I chose to stay the David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa during my last trip to Livingstone. For a three night stay, I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Getting there isn't too complicated. It is about 10–15 minutes from Livingstone town. You simply drive along the road toward Victoria Falls, then branch off before the falls into Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. The lodge is well sign-posted, and the short drive is scenic, giving you a taste of the calm and beauty that the Zambezi River offers. Depending on the time of day you may see some wildlife as you approach the entrance. The setting is stunning. The lodge sits right on the banks of the Zambezi, with wide open views of the river and the national park around it. It feels peaceful and private, yet it’s close enough to both town and Victoria Falls to make exploring very easy. The service here really stood out. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. Wi-Fi was available throughout my stay, which was very convenient. I also enjoyed a visit to the spa, which was perfect for relaxing after a day of activities. Meals were another highlight—whether dining indoors or outside by the river, the food was well-prepared and fresh. I understand that the lodge is named after the explorer Dr. David Livingstone, who first saw Victoria Falls in 1855. While he named them after Queen Victoria, the local name Mosi-oa-Tunya—“The Smoke That Thunders”—is still the most fitting description of the falls’ incredible power and beauty. I had a wonderful stay at there. The great service, beautiful riverside location, comfortable rooms, and relaxing spa made it a perfect choice for my trip. I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone visiting Livingstone (especially first timers) —and I will definitely come again.

The place is nice and located along the great Zambezi River. The rooms are neat and the food is delicious 😋. One can also organise for game viewing and boat cruise.

Their menu is misleading. Got a chilli and herb Bream, the food isn't enough for a new born baby. I asked the waiter for food that was filling and this is what came. Add measurements of food that is being order so we understand. This really is not it

Nestled on the second floor of Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant offers a romantic dining experience with an option to reserve a table overlooking a lit water hole that attracts various animals. The upscale restaurant boasts white linen tables, candles, and attentive servers. Its international menu features Zimbabwean influences such as game meat and local fish, bursting with flavor and freshness.
The bar overlooks a watering hole, where animals come and drink. So the view is amazing! The sunset is to die for! The food is great too. I had a burger which was great. The service is good enough. The WiFi signal is weak.

Apparently this is one of the top rated restaurant in Vic Fall. Food is nice, we had lamb shank, steak, chicken, sunset, water hole with croc resting, resident elephant at night and they also have 2 live camera on youtube on the water hole 24/7.. great hospitality, acapella singing over your dinner table, vulture feeding everyday at 1pm.. humourous and knowledgeable waiter..

Great place to eat, sit at the bar , watch the sunset and the animals at the waterhole. Staff are amazing and helpful.

I spent the the day at the restaurant overlooking a waterhole where elephants and other game would visit. Breathtaking views!! Loved the vulture feeding conservation activity that they do there as well!

The Pizza was just so lovely. The scenery so refreshing. The Chef, Clayton if I remember correctly passed by to greet us. And sell the new menu to us.. definitely coming back here

Eating with a view on the waterhole. Sunset is an absolute must. Good fod selection and wine. Start with a coctail at Buffalo bar!

I visited this restaurant for the breakfast buffet. While the selection is limited, you can order egg dishes to be served at your table. I was drawn by the amazing view, which truly made the experience worthwhile. If you're looking for a delicious breakfast, this might not be the place, but the view is definitely worth it.

Great, Great restaurant. We did appreciate our food. The service was at the top. Caring and attentive. The view over the national Park where you can spot animals. We had the chance to meet a family of elephants 🐘 ❤️

For day 2, we recommend exploring the east side side of town. Start the day off with Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to The Golden Leaf. All together, your day would be filled with about 8 hours of non-stop fun.

Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, located on the Zambezi River, is a stunning natural reserve that boasts the famous Victoria Falls and a diverse array of wildlife. Spanning 23 square kilometers, this park is home to an impressive population of white rhinos, as well as elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, and various antelope species. Visitors can enjoy activities such as game drives and the popular Rhino Walk to observe these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.
Victoria Falls, located in Zambia, is a stunning natural wonder and one of the largest waterfalls in the world. Its dramatic cascade of water creates a spectacular sight and a mist that can be seen from miles away. The surrounding area offers beautiful scenery and various activities, including guided tours and boat rides. It's a must-visit destination for anyone seeking awe-inspiring natural beauty.

Danny E — Google review
What a great an experience I had in this park.. The walk with the Rhinos was fantastic and I have seen a bachelor of elephants and it was the most coolest sights of my life.
Veronika H — Google review
Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park offers a compact but rewarding wildlife experience. While it doesn’t have big cats like lions, leopards, or cheetahs due to its size, the park is home to an impressive range of animals. Visitors can expect to see southern white rhinos, which are a major highlight, as well as elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, baboons, impalas, crocodiles, vultures, and a wide variety of bird species. One unique feature of the park is the opportunity to get out of the vehicle and walk safely to view rhinos at close range—something not commonly offered in larger parks. Overall, Mosi-oa-Tunya is a great option for wildlife viewing, especially for those interested in diverse animal sightings in a shorter timeframe. I would highly recommend the TripAdvisor half-day Safari for this park as it’s good value.

Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park in Zambia offers a unique blend of wildlife and natural wonder, most famously the majestic Victoria Falls. Visitors can enjoy game drives to see elephants, giraffes, and zebras, though predators are absent. The park is compact but rich in scenic beauty, with lush landscapes and river views. Guided tours to the falls provide unforgettable photo opportunities. It’s an accessible and rewarding destination, ideal for those seeking both nature and history in one visit.

Zambezi River Cruise

Experience the beauty of the Zambezi River with a relaxing Zambezi River Cruise. This activity offers a serene way to enjoy the river and witness stunning sunsets. The cruise includes drinks, snacks, and delicious meals while providing comfortable seating on uncrowded boats. As you sail along the fourth longest river in Africa, you may spot various wildlife such as birds, hippos, crocodiles, and even elephants.
A beautiful serene way to end your day. Drinks and snacks were provided. Plenty of hippos to be seen and other animals if you are lucky. We booked with Wild Horizons. The staff were incredibly professional and courteous.

This is one of the parts where, the deeper your pockets, the better the experience. Boats are basically based on your affordability. Depending on your agency, you will get chauffeured to and from your hotel. The boats are pretty comfortable but they differ in entirely everything. You want a private family boat - they got you. You wanna mingle with everyone there are there. You want boats with multiple decks- again, they got you. The problem is, animals are a hit or miss. My trip was awful, saw minimal wildlife (#disappointing). It felt like money down the drain. The sunset was unforgettable tho. M you boats offered meals and refreshments on board 👌🏾
Shaqueal “ — Google review
Without doubt one of the best trips we did during our stay in Victoria Falls. The cruise is a pleasant and relaxing way to enjoy the river and watch the sunset. Drinks are included from the ample bar, snacks provided and the main meal was simply wonderful. The boats are not crowded and the seating is very comfortable. This all adds up to a very relaxing river cruise. We were fortunate enough to witness a spectacular lightening display towards the end of our cruise. Don’t hesitate about booking a sunset dinner cruise. Pick-up and drop-off at your hotel included.
Neil B — Google review
We booked the cruise via our hotel we stayed in. We were picked up by the service provider and drop off after the cruise. The Zambezi Sunset cruise is an absolute superb way to relax and enjoy the spectacular beauty of the Zambezi River on this 2 hour boat ride. People had the opportunity to sit upstairs or on the lower deck, but the view was still beautiful. One was allowed to move around on the boat without any restrictions. We had great photo opportunities against the often-spectacular African sunsets as we cruise along the Zambezi river. We also saw flocks of birds that skim the waterline as the sun sets behind the Zimbabwe/Zambezi skyline. We also had the opportunity to see a variety of game; including hippo, crocodile, and elephant as well as the many different bird species. Our guide explained in detail every species, and they living habits. The Sunset Cruise is very popular amongst tourist and includes finger snacks, beer, wine, local spirits and soft drinks. Tourist on the boat can have unlimited drinks and finger snacks are being served shortly after departure. Life jackets are also provided in the case of an emergency. The boat also has a toilet on board both for males and females. This is a must tourist attraction when visiting the Victoria falls.

The fourth longest river in Africa, after the Nile, Congo, and Niger Rivers. I took a Sunset cruise from a local tour agency to witness the spectacular sunset on the river. The cruise package included unlimited drinks and food on the boat. Many birds, Hippos and Crocodiles were spotted during the trip along with some elephant. The guide will keep an eye on the river banks to make you aware about any wildlife near the river. The mighty river flows through Zambia, Angola, Namibia and Botswana then back along the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe finally discharging into the Indian Ocean at its delta in Mozambique.
Rahul P — Google review
The sunset cruise was beautiful! The boat itself was comfortable with lots of space. They also served us refreshments and drinks. We even spotted some animals while on the cruise.

We recently booked a Zambezi Sunset cruise through our hotel, arranged by the excellent service of Batoka Safaris. The two-hour boat ride along the Zambezi River was a truly superb experience. Captain Mpumelelo skillfully navigated the boat, allowing passengers to choose between the upper deck and lower deck, both offering beautiful views of the stunning African sunsets. The opportunity to move freely around the boat enhanced the experience, providing great photo opportunities against the picturesque Zimbabwe/Zambezi skyline. As we cruised, we marveled at flocks of birds skimming the waterline, while our knowledgeable guide, with passion and detail, shared insights into various species and their living habits. Encounters with wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and elephants, added an exciting dimension to the cruise. The guide's informative commentary heightened our appreciation for the Zambezi's rich ecosystem. The Sunset Cruise, a favorite among tourists, included unlimited drinks—beer, wine, local spirits, and soft drinks—and finger snacks served shortly after departure. Captain Mpumelelo's expertise ensured a safe and enjoyable journey, while the attentive service of Barman Robson added to the overall positive experience. The provision of life jackets and on-board toilets demonstrated Batoka Safaris' commitment to passenger safety and comfort.

The Railway Museum, situated in Livingston, Zambia, is a captivating destination for history enthusiasts and curious travelers. This museum offers an insightful exploration of Zambia's railway heritage through its collection of vintage locomotives, carriages, and various railway artifacts. Visitors can also delve into the Jewish history exhibits on-site. The museum is located at the former Mulobezi railway station and provides a unique opportunity to learn about the rich legacy of railways in Zambia.
I booked this trip but I think my husband enjoyed it more! If you're engineer or into mechanical vehicles and how they work, you'll certainly enjoy this museum. If you also love railways history, you will enjoy. The tour guide? 10/10. Exceptional. Very knowledgeable and kept your interest. There is no extra fee for the tour guide but you can feel free to tip him. Entry fee is only K8 for locals. You first get the history of how the railway started, what material they used, where it came from and who were the people involved. Then you get to go visit the train models who've the your guide explains. It's very cool to see trains that were used previously in Zambia. You would entire a train cabin, the EXACT one used in the 1900s along with the train platform. That was pretty amazing to do and I was amazed how in fact everything was. The Jewish Museum is also linked to Zambia's railways as the providerd of the materials were Jewish. It was interesting to read about the Jewish history and the part that each person played in the development of the railway. Would definitely recommend as something new to try out.

We were at the Railway Museum less than 45 min before it closing time of 4:30. After paying for our tickets the gentleman from the museum told us he could keep the museum open until around 5:00 pm. He would be our tour guide and he was sure we would see everything by then. He explained in very detailed the history of the museum, took us to see some of the locomotives that were on display. They were not in very good shape. All the locomotives used to be used by a sawmill to transport lumbers. The varieties were quite limited.
Clement C — Google review
Rusted and broken playground equipment for kids. Dangerously rusted out train cars. Train cars with swarms of bed living inside. Toilets with no running water or seats or soap. Little to no information about the trains. Several of the trains had human excrement in them. Was very pricey for what it was (non-resident). The Jewish museum was nice.
Ben A — Google review
The train museum is in a state of complete dilapidation. The majestic old trains are rusting away, most with no signage and certainly no TLC. The entrance is an amazing $15; I am sure the museum hasn't had investment equivalent to one ticket in the last ten years. Several of the engines are mundane late steam built in the 1950s,in three or four are old and / or interesting. I suppose it is kind of a graveyard not just of trains but of colonialism. However that isn't intentional, it's just complete disinterest in the history of the railway in Zambia. The Jewish museum (which is in the same site and included in the ticket; deal... is interesting and quite well maintained. I'll review that separately...
Jonathan M — Google review
The museum boasts a fascinating history, but many trains are in poor condition and require restoration. A modern update to the museum is definitely needed.
Tina V — Google review
Had never been on a train and seeing the inside of the first class coach and also the other locomotives/engines was really a great experience. I liked the swings in the play pack too. The place can be made more beautiful by greening the environment. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and our tour was awesome.
Brenda K — Google review
I loved it here! I was taken aback by how cheap it was to enter but it was great. I entered some of the carriages and for a while felt like I had returned to the past. A little more maintainance could do some good but it's still okay the way it is. One idea though would be if the museum was open to holding curated events on their premises. Those steam engines would make an excellent backdrop for a cat walk or something.
Jacob S — Google review
The Railway Museum is only one museum in Zambia. which has oldest railway engine & compartment, engine from 1892 to 1957 and the most existing things the steam crane. From the museum you can see the old railway lines maps of northern & southern Rhodesia. The Guide in that museum is very friendly & explained everything, a lot about Jewish history in Zambia. Please find the entrance fees from the picture.

The Golden Leaf is a highly regarded restaurant in Livingstone, Zambia, known for its excellent Indian and Asian cuisine. With 427 reviews, it's recognized for serving top-notch Indian dishes and is considered a go-to spot for a good curry in town. The restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with its flavorful menu. It's one of the best places to savor authentic Indian cuisine while visiting Livingstone.
The vegetable bryani is delicious and served in generous portions. Beware of the chili strength though, even the medium is ring-sting hot, so go with mild to appreciate the flavours and keep your tongue intact.

Best Indian cuisine in Zambia for my money! The prices are also very reasonable, not out to get the last dollar of the tourist. Highly recommend. Booking for the veranda is recommended.

This must be the best Indian in town by far! Very nice authentic food, we ended up eating there 4 times. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Can’t recommend enough! 👍🏾
Imran T — Google review
Delicious food and a wonderful porch to eat it all on. I knew it would be a good meal when I saw a large group of Indian aunties pull up for a party. The food was well spiced but a bit milder than I expected so order a bit hotter than you usually do, also tell the staff just to bring out the food when it’s ready so you get all your food hot even if it’s at different times. There are a lot of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu, which has Indian food as well as a few Zambian and also some generic dishes like pasta.
Laura M — Google review
Visited here after almost a decade and still consistently great. Food is exceptional, great Christmas ambience and many of the customers are repeat customers! Service is great and after listening to others in our tours this is one of the most consistently great restaurants for food and service! Can’t beat it, am going back for more. Loved the drums of heaven, butter chicken naans and jeera rice. Quite surprised to find an authentic northern Indian cuisine

We thought we would try out the Golden Leaf after reading all the good reviews for dinner as we love Indian food and have sampled the cuisine all over the world. We ordered a Chicken Masala Hot, the waitress told us that it would be Indian hot and it might be too hot for us to handle, we informed her that we like it hot and enjoy Vindaloo. Service is absolutely fantastic, however when the food came out the Chicken Masala was no where near as hot as what we expected which was quite disappointing. The portions could be better for the price you pay. All and all the flavours were good but the service was outstanding, thank you to the waitress that served us.

We needed a place for lunch after our visit to the Victoria Falls and also close to the town or in Livingstone. We saw the Golden Leaf and decided to make a turn and try this restaurant while in the area. The food is very enjoyable and also indian which was something new to me. But I chose something hot and needed a glass of milk to cool down! But yet the meal was very enjoyable and the staff very friendly!

While on vacation in Livingstone, we stayed at the Protea Hotel and walked over to the Golden Leaf Indian restaurant for dinner since we were craving Indian food. The 9-minute walk was easy and on a sidewalk along the town’s main road. Once there, we sat outside on the spacious veranda and had the chicken tikka masala and chicken jalfrezi alongside two types of naan bread, plus carbonated drinks. Staff were very friendly, the food very good, and we even got to chat with some expats that call Livingstone their home. Paying by credit card was no problem either. Definitely would give this restaurant a try when you visit Livingstone.

Lovely dining experience. Decent size portions. Real chips. I was impressed that the waitress remembered all of our orders considering a few of us there and got everything spot on. Food was delicious. Good prices. The only feedback I would give would be to add some fire pits outside or for customers to take a hoody or jacket with them

The pizza was not a real pizza for me. The dough was not home made and not crispy. Fluffy is okay but not if is not baked well. Ingredients were good and fresh. My waitress was super friendly. Unfortunately the food took very long. But it was also quite busy fairly said.

Went for lunch today after finding it from Google and saw many customers. Unfortunately the food and service is disappointing. The steak is over cooked and very hard. After payment I realized it is not exactly what I ordered. The crew took a long time to bring the bill. She requested for tips and I told her the amount but she put K50 instead of the amount given. Make sure you check you bill if paying by card.

Went to Zest Bar and Restaurant on a Wednesday night. Most tables inside were occupied. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Food arrived in 20 minutes. I ordered the Croc Pizza. It was very delicious and about an average sized pizza, not too big, not too small. Good size to share between two people. Service was very good and kind. The menu is expansive and has many different categories of food. An issue I have with this location is its prices. The menu is very pricey and all addons for traditional food cost extra. Burger prices are outrageous and cost more than some of the pizzas. Other locations in the area offer cheaper and better value for food.

This is EASILY my favorite restaurant in Zambia. I came here 3 out of the 4 days I was in Livingston. The full fried fish with pap and all the veg fixings is deliciously unreal! Insanely large portion that I will be dreaming about for years to come. Amazing local food that I would and will suggest to anyone that comes to town. (only thing of note, is the fish takes a little extra time to prepare). Lovely outdoor space with lovely staff. 10/10

Good food for an okay price. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Food takes about 20 minutes to be prepared, that doesnt bither me but might bother some. Has better seating areas with group seating, toilets, and a bar around the back, be sure to go there. There is also security at night. However, there are quite a number of annoying flies around, if you ask the staff will bring a bug-repellant candle to your table.

Went as a group. Took 2 hours to receive even the starters. The food was not great is an understatement 😔 It was very dark in the eating area so could not see what extra protein (flies) were landing on the food as you were eating. I was grateful that the food wasn't very nice in the end as it reduced my worries over what I could possibly be eating by not eating much, if any of it. Definitely would never return, even if free meal was offered.

Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Victoria falls!! The food was amazing and some of the staff even had a braai in front of you with all the meat you can ask for. The service was really good and the atmosphere was so energetic and friendly. The drum show had an amazing leader that even taught everyone in the crowd. A really great experience.

We had a fun night at the Boma. There are a bunch of little experiences before you even get to the dining hall, which add to the atmosphere, but most come with an extra charge. All drinks, including water, were also at an additional cost, so just something to keep in mind. The food was decent but nothing to write home about. There was a big salad bar and four vegetarian mains when we visited—chickpea curry, pasta, stuffed peppers, and layered vegetables. All the desserts were vegetarian too. The best part of the evening came at the end when everyone got a Djembe drum and joined in for a lively group drumming session. Definitely a unique experience.

My second time going. The food and entertainment was on point. One staffer tensed when my friend asked for a second helping. Its a buffet, people should feel free to come for seconds and thirds. $50 per person is not a joke. Everything else was great.

A famous restaurant for game meat.. $55 per pax and we got 20% discount as we are staying at the Lokuthula Lodge (same company) and just 3 mins walking distance from our lodge. I'd say the food is rather disappointing.. well this could be the high expectation to get guineafowl, croc tail or so on that our friend had before. Then there's this eland and buffalo stew only.. Anyway..... This is not the end, i'd say we actually paid for the experience of the night. The credit goes to all the staff that night! They are all friendly and i met the 2 lovey girls from the counter during our breakfast here who taught me Good Morning in local Zimbabwe language (well, i do not know which dialect it is as they have like 16 or what languages here).. the face painting is another highlight, he is an awesome painter, holding the paint in one hand and stand/ half squad paint with steady hand! I can't bear to wash my face that night. The interaction of the drum session, dancing, music is fantastic. What a fun night =)

Boma will never disappoint, game meat, traditional meals you name it. You will truly enjoy your dinner! Local or international, it’s simply the best!
Adam M — Google review
This is as Disney-like experience as it gets in Vic Falls! The performance is fun and interactive. They even give you a drum to play along at the end. Food is buffet style so there’s a lot of food; many kinds of meat, salads, and desserts. Drinks are not included though so you even have to pay for water. The servers are friendly, but I think the lady in front could be nicer…

Flavors of India is a stunning establishment in Livingstone that offers delectable Indian cuisine. This restaurant caters to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, making it an ideal choice for any occasion, whether it be a business meeting or a romantic date night. The menu boasts a wide variety of mouthwatering dishes, with most having a spicy kick that adds to their appeal.
Highly recommended… ,genuine Indian authentic, tasty, yummy food ..Salim bhai is blessed with great hands ….

Good halal food in Zambia ! The naans were very fresh and the dishes we ordered were packed with flavour (a bit oily but that’s up To personal preference) However, we waited a really long time for it. 55 minutes for two dishes when there was only one other table there.

Best indian restaurent Food taste is good Quantity is worth you pay Good service
Dharmapuri I — Google review
One of the Worst Dining Experiences – Avoid at All Costs! I rarely write reviews, but my visit to Flavors of India was so terrible, I had to warn others. From the moment we walked in, it was chaos. The staff had absolutely no communication skills, barely acknowledged us, and seemed completely lost. Tried to order a few items—guess what? “Not available” was the answer for almost everything. After settling on what was available, we waited nearly an hour for just one dish. And when we asked about the delay, the staff looked clueless and couldn’t even explain what was going on. One even admitted they didn’t know the menu properly. Are you serious? This place is a disaster. Save your time, money, and patience. There’s nothing flavorful about Flavors of India—except the frustration.

I'm sorry but this restaurant jack to jack up big time. I've been coming to Livingstone for quite a while during long weekends & it's always the same situation. My family & I came over the long weekend & we bounced twice. Didn't have lunch or dinner because the food wasn't ready & then the queues were until outside. You know how busy it gets during peak seasons so why not plan properly??? Queues till outside, not enough seating area, food runs out in an instant & half the time they don't have the majority on the menu. And since it's the long weekend they'll make a buffet but the food is bland. Nothing to write about. As the only Halal Restaurant in Livingstone I expect better service, better food & overall better planning. Terrible disappointment.

It's the best Hotel and Restaurants in Livingston. The service is excellent, the staff is very humble. And the Cheff Mr Salim is the best

Very good indian food, of course most of the dishes are hot. Fair prices, I put 4 stars because they are slow, but worth the waiting. I highly recommend their naan bread. They also have other types of dishes.

The food was great, but it can be ruined if the service is not great. The service was not very good. Waited 20 to 30 for someone to get our order, and food was delayed on top of that. The atmosphere is alright

History Museums
The Livingstone Museum, located near the iconic Victoria Falls in Livingstone, Zambia, is the country's oldest and most extensive museum. Established in 1934, it offers a diverse array of exhibits spanning archaeology, ethnography, history, and natural history. Visitors can explore collections featuring significant archaeological finds like the World Broken Hill Man and original memorabilia from Dr. David Livingstone. The museum also showcases tribal artifacts, taxidermy displays, and a life-sized model of an African village.
Very detailed museum. There's so much to take in so give yourself some time. If you don't know alot then you will learn alot. The fee for Zambians was just K6. The person at the entrance was very friendly and told us the direction we should take. The museum artifacts ranged from primal time to modern time. Gave a vast history of what Zambians used and showed the development overtime. It also replicated Zambia's flora and fauna, likewise the animals that can be found. The live replicas of animals made it very interesting and relatable. Then it moved on to history and culture, from Zambia's independence an entire area for David Livingstone. It's the perfect place for a school trip or if you want to educate your kids in Zambian history for a low cost. Bathrooms were also available and clean. They are shops selling local art if you want to buy. Would recommend to check it out!
Shanell C — Google review
Livingstone Museum is really the history museum of Zambia. The display started from when the earth continents were Pangaea to the most recent history. It is quite detailed. A must visit in Livingston.
Clement C — Google review
Interesting museum! Entrance cost us $5 per person. Phots and videos are not allowed to be taken inside. Has interesting natural history section about the origins of various animals and a zoological section. More interesting though is the areas about local history and traditions, as well as about Zambia's recent colonial occupation back when it was known as Northern Rhodesia. I found it very insightful learning about the Zambian perspective of this as someone who comes from Europe. Finally, there is a section about David Livingstone that is interesting if you don't know much about him already.
Sam M — Google review
This is a very extensively fitted museum. Covers a wide range of topics with an impressive number of artifacts. I was impressed by the size and exhibits. No photos allowed inside, which is understandable considering the delicate nature of some of the artifacts. Well run and very well maintained.
Ockert B — Google review
To be honest - the guided tour was passionate and interesting, however if I am being very honest. It was a little bit boring and for today’s standards really nothing special. Rather enjoy the nature than the museum
Tobias B — Google review
The place has the best history of Zambia than the things we where taught in schools. I would recommend the employment of tour guides because they will give our visitors from other countries a better understanding of our culture and rich history. I had the best time learning about our country and it's thriving present never the less I would have enjoyed it the more if I was being guided through to get a clear picture of everything because I had so many questions left unanswered. This is according to my experience thank you.
Roy M — Google review
The museum was very nice and detailed, each room was unique and made you feel like you were stepping into history.

Have eggs become lighter over time? The existential question our our times, finally answered. Aside from this, the museum gives a good overview of Zambia under colonial rule and subsequent independence, albeit only up until 2001.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jollyboys Backpackers Lodge is an absolute gem in Livingstone! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the warm hospitality, vibrant atmosphere, and top-notch facilities. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and memorable—always smiling, helpful, and full of great recommendations for exploring the area. The lodge itself is a paradise for travelers. The lush garden and pool area are perfect for relaxing after a day of adventures, and the accommodations are clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. Excellent hostel-style hotel. We stayed in a private double room, with en suite bathroom. The room was small but very comfortable. The hotel staff is friendly and responsive. We used their restaurant and laundry service, both were very good. They provide a variety of tours, as well. The game drive and rhino walk were awesome! Definitely recommend for this area.
RK C — Google review
Very poor management!!! During my stay they were renovating their toilets and showers. I can accept noise for one night but on a daily base until 4am is just careless to any guest and I mean proper construction noise. Room is small and doesn't have a fridge, public area has 3 fridges and 2 stoves and only one is working. In this price range I expect a Def. More. During my whole stay which was over a week, I haven't seen any manager on duty to address my issues. Staff is very nice but it's obvious that they are not motivated how they get treated by the management. Honestly you find way better places in livingstone for way less money. Also they do not stick to any rules which are stated on the paper in the room. Honestly can't recommend to stay there only good to go for a drink! Cheers Thank you for the feedback but I had to correct it to one star because your are basically calling me a liar...there was noise almost every night. You can double check with Ehan. Furthermore it was not for a short time of my stay it was for the whole stay. You had to redo everything because you installed the wrong (slippery) tiles.

Jollyboys is a perfect place to stay in Livingstone on a budget! The staff are lovely and really helpful. You can arrange all of your activities and trips through the front desk including getting a free airport pickup and shuttle to Victoria falls. Great kitchen, reliable wifi. I can't say enough good things about my stay and will definitely be back when I travel through Livingstone.

Jollyboys is a great place to stay, especially if you need a place to rest and reset for a bit. Most of the staff were really amazing and went above and beyond to help out, make you feel welcome, and smile. Bathrooms are super clean. Female dorm is large and has air con. Shared kitchen was great to have and there's filtered water throughout the facility. Free shuttle daily to falls. Free dinner Thursday nights was my fave (should add this meal to the menu!). Wifi worked in common areas and was good enough to remote work. Livingstone is quiet and easy to roam around. My favourite cafe nearby was Nomad Cafe (delicious Americano!). Best hostel in Livingstone, highly recommend 👏

Not your typical backpacker experience, as Vic Falls is really beyond that kind of budget, but a really fun mix of young and old, all nationalities and a lot of locals turn up on nights when there is music. Pretty decent food menu, though expect to wait. They can organise all the activities around Vic Falls and Chobe. Just a great overall vibe and great value for area.
John P — Google review
(From March 2025) - No soap in toilets - not good for hygiene - No fans or air con in dorm rooms in 35c heat - Camping shows as available when you try to book but they told me it was not available due to them not having a generator (for air con). A dorm room was $14 on Agoda but they charge $20 directly which doesn't make sense. - There are no privacy curtains on the dorm beds either and the wifi doesn't work in the rooms - The place is a bit run down, things need fixing and the doors make noise when they open and close - I was quoted a price for laundry and I said ok, then they took it to another place for this to be done and I was then quoted a different price so I said no. However they had assumed I would say yes (!) so I had to wait to get my money back - Some clashing information, e.g one board says dinner is 7 and another 7.30. But this dinner is one of the perks one night GOOD - Good location - 10 minutes walk to the supermarket and shops and next to the Livingstone Museum (very dated but worth a look) - There is a nice pool and sunbeds, and large common areas. the bar is reasonably priced but only takes cash. - The dorm rooms are large with lots of space and the beds are comfortable

International airport
Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport, formerly known as Livingstone airport, is a modern and well-maintained airport located approximately 5 km from the heart of Livingstone, Zambia. It serves as a gateway to this tourist-centric city and offers ease of navigation with clear signage primarily in English. The airport features clean facilities, efficient check-in counters, duty-free shops stocked with local products and arts and crafts, as well as quick and efficient restaurants.
To be honest - clean efficient and friendly. Overall it is a very small airport, however the staff is super friendly and we had no issues at all.
Tobias B — Google review
Small airport. But very quiet and easy going. The look of the building is very nice. Inside is calm l, neat and tidy. There is lots of seating. Especially if you know where to go to chill. There are nice souvenirs there and more than one shop so you can check prices. There is one café there. But could use another.
Muhammed O — Google review
Nice, clean, modern airport with fast customs and bag pick up. The morning I arrived mid morning there were no other planes here so airport was empty. One of my bags didn’t arrive and inspector was very helpful in helping tracking it to London. Oish! Short ride into Livingstone and to local hotels!
Canyoudoanybetter — Google review
Ugh, what a dreadful experience at the airport cafe! From the moment I approached, the staff acted like I was inconveniencing them. No smiles, curt responses, and a general air of impatience permeated the interaction. Ordering felt like pulling teeth, and when my lukewarm coffee finally arrived, it was practically slammed onto the table. Honestly, their rudeness added unnecessary stress to my travel day. I'd rather go hungry than endure that kind of dismissive service again. Management needs to seriously address the attitude of their employees. A truly unpleasant start to my journey. We were then kicked off the seats after thr coffee even though there was noone there.

✨ Visiting Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula International Airport in 2024 was an exceptional experience that left a lasting impression. From the moment I arrived, the staff exuded warmth and professionalism, making every interaction feel effortless and genuine. The airport’s facilities were immaculate and well-organized, with streamlined procedures that made travel refreshingly smooth. I particularly admired the serene ambiance, thoughtful signage, and cultural touches that reflect Zambia’s hospitality. It’s no exaggeration to say that HMNIA stands as a model of excellence in regional aviation—my highest praises for a service that truly exceeded expectations.

Very small airport, though has some cute little shoppes for last minute souvenirs. Friendly staff, clean and efficient!

Decent airport. Boarder customs, however, were strange. Had to show our Cape Town (departure) boarding pass to enter the airport off of the tarmac on arrival. If you buy the Kaza tourists visa for $50, they will only accept new or unblemished US bills. Minor tears or bent corners were rejected.
Jason P — Google review
A huge step up from the old airport with clean losers facilities and a easy check in . After security there is duty free shopping a couple of cafes and upstairs is a lounge that is open to people with lounge key and priority pass . Note that flying business class on SAA or British Airways does not give you access to this lounge and these airlines do not have lounges here . The lounge is comfortable with free WiFi and a small selection of drinks and food .

Love this place! The pasta and pizza is awesome. The food comes quickly and it is an open kitchen so you can see it all being prepared. We went there for a nice change to local food and then went back another 2 times! The pasta with 4 cheeses is to die for as is the bacon and chilli pasta. The chicken swarma pizza with added bacon 👌

My favorite place to eat in Livingstone. Pizzas are very tasty (which doesn't happen often in Africa), and prices are decent. Its nice atmosphere, and very pleasant staff. Owner is nice guy as well and we enjoyed talking to him.
Nenad S — Google review
The service and food was fantastic! The pizza I think is the best I have had in Zambia. Th owner is extremely friendly and really nice to interact with. The ice cream is my favorite in all of Zambia. I tried many items on the menu and they were all good. The quarter chicken is very tasty. The service was quick and the restaurant has a nice ambience. I went there many many times and never got tired of the food (I always wanted to go back again). I also had a traditional Zambian meal and it was amazing. The prices are very good. I am back in Lusaka and went to my second favourite gelato place and all I could think about was the gelato from livingstone while i ate it (it didn't compare). Very highly recommended!

Satoru I — Google review
We had the most amazing time on the Royal Livingstone Express. We went in with high hopes given my teenage daughter has always wanted to experience an “old school” steam engine train and “classic dining car”. The Livingstone Express did not disappoint! The train is very well maintained, so doesn’t feel old or stuffy. The staff was super professional, the host was an incredible speaker and storyteller, educating and entertaining us with the history of the train and railroad connecting much of southern and eastern Africa. The train also stops on the famous bridge overlooking the waterfall so you can disembark and take pictures of the sunset over the falls. And lastly, the quality of the food was exceptional. Often times these more “touristy” experiences don’t have the best food. We were super impressed by how polished and delicious the food was, starting with the appetizers to the 3-course sit down dinner. Not at all gimmicky or mass-produced, but instead elevated and authentic. Note, we have high standards for fine dining as we’re from San Francisco and NYC. Would highly recommend the Royal Livingstone Express to anyone visiting Victoria Falls!

The Big Tree, also known as Adansonia digitata, is a 1500-year-old baobab standing at 24 meters tall with a remarkable 22-meter girth. Surrounded by a chain-wire fence for protection, this ancient tree is a popular stop for visitors exploring the Zambezi River Drive near Victoria Falls town. It's an ideal spot for picnics and sunset watching, offering unique photo opportunities due to its impressive size and age.
🌳 A TREE-MENDOUS EXPERIENCE! 🌳 Visiting the Big Baobab Tree in Victoria Falls is truly unbeleafable! This living legend has stood the test of time, deeply rooted in history and wonder for over 1000 years. You'll view your life as pre-TBT and post-TBT (The Big Tree) when you come here. Standing beneath its sprawling branches, you can’t help but feel a profound connection to nature If you haven’t been, you’re barking up the wrong bucket list! 10/10 baobabsolutely breathtaking. tree you again soon!

The oldest baobab in Africa. Amazing tree with funny story on the poster abut growing upside down. Next to, there is small market that you can buy handmade souvenirs. And On the Zambezi Road you can find many animals around, be careful with elephants.
Monika K — Google review
Sometimes busy with tourist busses and the tourists but impressive to see. Unfortunately fenced of because of tourists carving in the tree but still worth a visit. The craft market there is rather expensive that might have been because we were there early and money still had to be made
Dees P — Google review
This is the equivalent of those sequoia trees in the US. It is just one ginormous tree, several hundreds of years old. It is a Mubuyu or baobab tree. Currently it is fenced off by ZimParks and rightly so because curious onlookers have tended in the past to etch their names on the tree. There were no elephants in sight that day but this tree is within the national park so wild animals are expected. There is another massive tree of similar repute in Livingstone, Zambia. It is also a mubuyu 🌳 tree. It is known as the Look-out tree. It is also a very big tree. A coincidence?

Nandos Kirkland is located just behind the Giant National sports stadium along Kirkman road. The place has a fuel filling station. It is a quiet place free from street kids & vendors. It is a nice place to hang around with your family and friends.
Kenneth M — Google review
Since we don’t have baobabs in the US, this was my first ever baobab, and it was a magnificent experience. The bark, looking like elephant skin, suggests the extreme age of the mighty tree, and its huge girth adds to the impressiveness. Our taxi driver stopped here at my request as we were coming from the airport to our hotel, and it was only a 5-minute detour — absolutely worth it!

The cape brandy pudding was simply amazing, that gets 10 stars. Latte was ok and carrot cake was ok. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with jazz music playing.

After getting confused at intercity, I got on the wrong bus and ended up in Livingstone. There is a big waterfall here :o. After the bus I was quite peckish and found this lovely cafe in town. The atmosphere is quaint, relaxing, and pleasant. The service is very friendly and helpful. While dining I enjoyed a cheesecake. Though the cheesecake was a little bit over done. The soft boiled egg I ordered was clearly left in the boiling water a bit too long. Overall this cafe was a great experience. I would recommend! <3

I think that this is the best bar in Livingstone, the food was banging and very fairly priced. The beer was also very well priced. The pool table cost K2 which is a good price. There are many televisions so there’s lots of football to watch. Felt very safe in here every time as the only Mzungu, will have to come back here again one day. Only bad thing was no Draught beer but not everything can be perfect I guess.

Its a great place. I love the creativity of the drums which were turned into seats, the bus counter and all. The customer service is also top notch. Its a great place to chill

I have always liked this place but then i think some of the waitresses behave like prostitute, one waitress pulled my husband outside to ask him about a bill,on the table she wasn’t in charge of so definitely that’s a zero for me,they should work on their waitresses. But all in all it’s a good place.

It's a great location. It is only recommended. The two stars are deduction, there is nothing to dry in the toilet and no toilet paper.

Pros: Very friendly waiters, delicious food, good alcohol assortment, civilized patrons, flexible payment options (Mobile money, card, cash e.t.c) Con: Thursday karaoke night is generally fun, but DjMickie will rarely play requested songs. He has his own playlist and favourite singers. As such, you can keep requesting songs from 18hrs, songs which are on the menu, constantly reminding him every 10 minutes, and you'll be lucky if at all your songs ever get played. Overall, it's a nice and clean place.

Baines Restaurant is a charming dining spot situated on the picturesque Zambezi River in Victoria Falls. The restaurant offers stunning views of the river and occasionally even catches the refreshing spray from the nearby Victoria Falls. Guests can enjoy delicious meals with friends and family while being serenaded by the soothing sounds of the rapids. The restaurant's beautiful setting, combined with well-presented and flavorful dishes, makes it a must-visit for any occasion.
Such a beautiful restaurant right on the River. You can even see the mist from Victoria falls in the distance. The building itself was also super pretty. Had to drink the Little Lourie with mango and berry, and it just tasted like a smoothie. Still good though. For the appetizer, had the crocodile cakes and they were amazing. For the entrees had the creamy lemon and thyme chicken, ostrich kebabs, and pork belly. Everything was a 5/5 and so delicious! For dessert had the chocolate pecan and the rosemary cheesecake. Again, 5/5. Also, special mention of the mashed potatoes. They were so good I ordered a second side of them.

Classy setting with fantastic food and excellent service. The staff were kind and attentive, and this was truly one of the best meals we had in Victoria Falls. We enjoyed the creamy lemon chicken and a perfectly cooked sirloin. For dessert, don’t miss the cheesecake and the chocolate pecan tart — both were outstanding! The Merlot was also a great choice. Just a tip: it can get chilly after sunset, so bring a light jacket, and it’s best to book in advance. Highly recommended!

Great place for dinner with amazing view on Zambezi river. Beautiful design, friendly stuff, delicious food. But... our dinner was cold. When you order great tasty steak, but all is cold, your experience is missed unfortunately.

From the moment you arrive, the setting steals the show. The open air terrace offers uninterrupted views of the Zambezis swirling currents & in the distance mist from the near by falls rising like a veil. The menu is a celebration of local and international flavors with a refined twist. We had the freshly caught grilled bread with garlic roasted sweet potato fries. Service was warm &attentive. Staff were eager to share stories about the river and region. It felt less than a transaction and more like being welcomed into someone's home. Dining there isnt just about the food - its about the pulse of Africa. The Zambezi doesn't just flow past ; it becomes part of the meal, part of the memory. Whether you're a seasoned traveler or a local celebrating something special Baines Restaurant is a feast for all the senses.

A really good restaurant with a fantastic view. Pro tip: Doo call I advance and ask for a table at the river sider if you are 4 or less people😉. Fantastic view of the Zambezi river. Ask your hotel if the offer a shuttle service that will take you ther or get them to arrange for a Taxi. The food is wonderfully prepared and the staff brilliant when it comes to service and helpfulness. Especially thanks to our waiter/hostess Mercy ❤️ who went over and above to arrange transport from the hotel for us. It is a really nice atmosphere and is child friendly. We went ther late noon and into the afternoon which was a perfekt time to be there. Doo go ther if you have the opportunity.

Great for people travelling on a budget and in big groups as they have rooms from as low as K350 and can sleep up to 3 individuals. The staff however rarely changed things such as towels or thoroughly cleaned rooms everyday. Breakfast took a while to get ready (maybe it’s because we were a big group) but I did order some dinner which I had to wait for 3 hours. The manager is a very nice lady and she will assist with whatever you require. The lodge is in a good location as it is in close proximity to everything such as restaurants, airport and the falls. Another thing I loved about it is that there were hardly any restrictions as with most places, we could sit by the pool and play games and music up to whatever time because Livingstone is definitely a party!

Nice and quiet place to stay. Price is fine for locals however pricey for foreigners. Good ambiance but rooms are run down and in need of a facelift. Bathrooms need a major overhaul. The room I stayed in had a blocked drainage, loose power point and inadequate lighting. The pool is unsightly and needs a coat of paint. Food was surprisingly good with adequate portions. Overall if the rooms are worked on I would not mind going back to stay there.
Mitesh P — Google review
It's definitely not a 5 star resort and for this reason we walked in with humble expectations. We stayed in one of the family rooms (unit 8). The beds are good, mosquito nest are provided and you also have 24/7 security (guard, gate and wall). However, the bathroom was disappointing... Th door had no lock/key (which was a bit of a necessity coz we travelled as a group. The shower curtain was mouldy. It got cleaned after I complained about it) Other things to consider, it's a walkable distance from the town centre, has a restaurant and a little pool. Would I go back? Probably not.... BUT if you are on a tight budget and cannot find a better place for you the same coin, it should do the the job.
Dolchi — Google review
On arrival they didn't have WiFi throughout the lodge. As one staff explained, the owner hadn't paid for the WiFi bill. This was fine for the first night as we had our own data and did intend to leave the next morning. When it came to breakfast, we each were given a single fired egg, three spoons of beans and two fried rings of onion with toast bread. When we requested for butter for the toast, they said they didn't have butter at all, only Jam. When we requested for sausages we were told it would coast extra, however they said it would be a while as they didn't have any in the kitchen and would have to go out and buy. Only Coffee was offered and one of the people in our party didn't drink coffee so had to ask for tea. As we were in Livingstone for two nights only, we rebooked only for convenience. That evening on return from the Falls, we arrived to no water in our rooms due to what was described as a water pump failure, so we couldn't use the toilets or shower that evening. The next morning, we didn't have water either but a chat with reception they turned on the pump and we had water for few minutes to shower before we checked out. We got a complimentary breakfast (two fried eggs, beans, sausages, toast and butter), and a refund for the inconvenience caused. Overall, the rooms were clean and is in a good location. They resolved the issue to our satisfaction. Would we stay there again? We would give it a try again in the near future.

The was not even up to Zambia standards. My husband and in-laws are Zambian and they couldn't bare this place it was to dirty. The sheets were dirty, shower and bathmats dirty, the walls were dirty, the misquote nets were dirty. I found hair in my food. We we're hoping to swim, but the pool was dirty. We only stayed one night checked out and went to the Marriott which was a much better experience. The only good thing about this place was that they were nice.

To be honest - it’s nothing for tourists on my opinion - it’s more a local requirement and I do not understand why sending tourists in this area and charging 55 USD per person to go there. Rather charge a tourist fee and support that elocal areas to develop. We were very unhappy with this option.

The Jewish Museum Livingstone offers a unique and insightful experience for visitors interested in the rich history of Livingstone. The museum showcases the contributions of the Jewish community to modern-day Zambia, including historical artifacts such as the first Jewish scroll. Additionally, it provides a glimpse into the former boomtown of Livingstone and its railway connections that attracted Jewish migrants from Eastern Europe seeking a new life. Visitors can also explore original trains at the museum, adding to the immersive historical experience.
I love this place! It's got such rich history and an amazing story. The original trains are still available for viewing. It's quiet, neat and clean. We asked for a conducted tour and the guide really enlightened us with insights I hadn't known before. If you ever get a chance to be in Livingstone stop by the Railway Museum and the Gateway Jewish Museum. I didn't know about how much the Jewish community contributed to modern day Zambia. I will definitely be going back to take it all in again. 5 stars! And more.

It was such an insightful experience. The staff are very welcoming and the tour guide is willing to have everything explained to you for a better understanding. It’s a go to site for my people who love sites that offer rich knowledge and also for my Jewish friends. Things like the first Jewish scroll are kept in this very museum. Not forgetting that it also the museum for the trains used by our forefathers. Very insightful experience indeed.

Amazing spot in the heart of Africa. Interesting history of former Northern Rhodesia. Livingstone once a boomtown with railway connections benefitting from the copper-belt. It attracted especially Jewish migrants from Eastern Europe - looking for a different life (pogromes started there in about 1900). During terrible German fascist times a couple of Jewish people managed to escape to here. While South Africa and Southern Rhodesia refused to issue Visa for Jews after 1939 it was still possible here. After independence many left the country …

Horrendous service — it took 3 hours for a 1 course meal and literally 45 mins for a pineapple juice. A pizza took a full 2 hours despite being chased regularly and being told it was coming. Very drunk locals stumbling around the restaurant and an unsafe atmosphere in the bar area for the women in our party (which you have to go through to get to the loos). No game meat available, average quality food—go elsewhere. Note that it is apparently under new management so older, good, reviews may no longer be applicable.

I booked 2 nights here, but the second day the staff told me my room was already reserved for another one. And she even said that yesterday I was informed by her colleague, which was totally ridiculous because NO ONE said anything about this. In the end, she asked me to change to the dorms since there was no other rooms left, but I refused and left for another accommodation. What a good experience, hhh, please don't go to this shity place.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I went there for dinner and ordered a burger. First, the food took over an hour to get there, the waitress we had wasn’t nice but also not terrible. When the food finally got there after my stomach finished consuming the left over fat on my body I opened the take away and was blown away by how terribly mediocre the food was. The burger was the size of an oreo and the bun was 3 times the size of the burger. The food tasted better than it looked, but that doesn’t mean it was good. I spent K190 on food and drink, when that food wasn’t even worth K20. STAY AWAY!

Staff went the extra mile to get me the meal combination I wanted - obviously paid extra 😅 Overall, great service. A little too heavy on the salad dressing for my taste though (maybe menu should have all ingredients/components of the food so that customers can give better instructions of how they want their food)

I ordered dinner from Flavours Pub & Grill — 3 butter naan, chicken tikka masala, and onion rings. What I received was shocking: 3 uncooked, butterless naans, cold onion rings, and a chicken tikka masala that tasted like a first-time attempt by an untrained chef. When I complained, the excuse was they had no butter. This was unprofessional, tasteless, and unacceptable. I’d rate the food a zero.

Excellent location right at entrance of the Mosi-oa-Tunya falls.. This allows one to have a meal right after viewing the falls or before viewing. With the natural background sound of the thundering smoke it allows for great relaxation.. The views of the animals and the escapades of the silly baboons and monkeys serve as entertainment as you enjoy a pleasant meal.. Speaking of the meal. The food was freshly made and hot when served. The have a variety of vegetarian options and that's a plus for me. The chips were rightly spiced, the burger had just enough flavour.. The drinks were also really good as we had to struggle not to finish them before the food arrived. The staff are warm and friendly ever ready to chase burger bun stealing monkeys. 😅😅 I am sure you can tell that I loved the place and will be visiting again. I implore you to give it a try too.

Bundu Adventures has been providing thrilling adventure activities on the Zambezi River since 1996. While their main focus is whitewater rafting, they also offer a variety of other exciting experiences. Visitors have praised the safety measures in place and the expertise of their guides, such as Ayoba and Potato, who ensured an unforgettable and secure journey through the rapids. The full-day rafting experience was particularly recommended for its gradual transition from initial apprehension to pure enjoyment.
Wonderful experience from pickup to drop off. We were able to rafting 1-21 and only had to walk around #9. Steep walk down and up the gorge but totally worth it! Would recommend Bundu to all!

We just came back from a trip with these guys , and we are extatic. Not only we had fun but we were super safe !Our captain was Ayoba , he was great and we did not flip! We paired it with ride back in helicopter because we had to fly back and that was also amazing, cruising few feet above the water in the canyon. In short can't recommend it enough , I did class 5 rafting before in Europe and their set up is great with the 2 additional kayaks for safety in case someone fell in the water . What can I say. FANTASTIC. One of the best things I could have done while in Zambia. My daughter really enjoyed it. See pictures. We felt safe with Kay in control. The only note is you need to be reasonably fit for the walk out at the end.

Awesome experience!! Totally worth it, we got to see the waterfalls from below and then rafted the Zambezi. Our guide Kaivas was great and we didn’t flip :) One bonus point: we got a nice video of this adventure the next day via email. Fantastic memories were made!!

Enjoyed rafting with Bundu couple of years ago. This time i brought my family to share this experience with them. Thank you Potato (guide) for making it very special. We felt safe all the way despite the flight on the photo. Great from the booking (including booking of tours from other operators) to the video of our adventure. Suggestion: go for the full day. Your initial terrifying experience gradually eases into pure joy

Art gallery right in the Park. Few meters of the Mosi-O-Tunya Road. A stop you cannot afford to miss. Great pieces and a myriad of local artists and sculptures have their pieces on display. Great service from the staff too. Simply a beautiful unexpected beauty amidst all the wonders in Livingstone.
Daniel M — Google review
A very quiet, well lit and spacious gallery with various artworks. Being an artist myself, I must say I was elated to pay a visit.
Mwewannie D — Google review
Worth a quick visit after a game drive in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, for viewing paintings and sculptures by Zambian artists.
Sherri E — Google review
One of the most amazing places in Livingstone to enjoy the best of Zambia
Maanka C — Google review
The building not so visible but the gallery was really nice with good paintings. We were guided perfectly by one of the staff members. He was explaining a lot and with very good information. There were some artworks outside as well. There was an exhibition about understanding cultures, which motivates you to look beyond what is on the surface. We really enjoyed it and recommend everyone to go there.

Embark on a Chobe Day Trip, just an hour away from Victoria Falls, for an unforgettable African wildlife experience. The park boasts one of the largest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, offering sightings of elephants, lions, hippos, impalas, and diverse bird species. A morning river cruise along the Chobe River and an afternoon game drive in Chobe National Park provide excellent opportunities to observe the region's abundant wildlife.
What a wonderful experience! First class from start to finish. The border crossing stuff was a pain, but the cruise was amazing with plenty of birds and hippos and cricks. We saw a family of elephants cross the river (to get to the other side). Then the safari drive was great. Lions, giraffes, dead zebra, oh my. Guides were great
Neil W — Google review
We enjoyed the views from the cruise to the valley drive. it was excellent thank you team

This was a beautiful experience. The cruise was the icing on the cake!

If you have never been on a safari I would recommend that, given the opportunity, you go. We had an amazing day, seeing elephants, lions, hippos, impala among other animals and a wide variety of birds. The guide was very informative and spotted animals that we wouldn't have noticed. It was a fantastic experience.

Great for first time tourists who come to the Southern African safari scene. But there are many other places in Zambia, Zimbabwe and Tanzania that are remote and less commercialized.

Restaurant
The Three Monkeys Restaurant & Bar in Victoria Falls is a casual dining spot that offers a variety of gourmet burgers, wood-fired pizzas, and grilled steaks. The restaurant has a relaxed indoor/outdoor seating area with a cool vibe, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day of touring or adventurous activities.
Went on a Friday night and the place was a full house. Great vibe. We were a table of 20 and got great service from a few waiters, but Zibusiso stood out. The food came in good time and was amazing, and so was the ambience. The rest rooms were spotless. Would love to come here again
Memo B — Google review
When reviewing The Three Monkeys, it’s important to keep in mind the context of Victoria Falls – a small town with limited resources. Within that reality, The Three Monkeys stands out as a very good restaurant. They have a water mist system that helps relieve the heat, the meals were generous and tasty, and the bathroom was impressively clean. The staff were courteous and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I really liked it and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Victoria Falls.
Camilli C — Google review
Recommended by our hotel receptionist and we loved it so much we came back twice during our trip! Reservations highly recommended for weekends. Prices were higher than other restaurants in the area. We got the Margherita pizza and veggie wrap - both were great. The lemonade refresher was also hydrating after a long day. It was a great location near Elephant walk.
Pooja P — Google review
The experience was decent overall. The place was bustling with activity, yet we managed to get a table without a booking on a Friday night. The food was alright.
Calma — Google review
One of the best restaurants in Vic Falls, what a beautiful setting, and the food was exceptional. Unique dishes that were delicious. I would definitely recommend.
N H — Google review
🍕🍝The food was really tasty, they have a wood oven for the pizzas! 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳 The staff were always super friendly and nice, as they all are around here 💰💸 So cheap I can't remember, less than $10/person 🏠 Amazing place, really lovely outdoors terrace
Miguel B — Google review
The Three monkeys Restaurant is located around the centre of the small town of Victoria Falls and has a pleasant atmosphere. Soft music in the background whilst you enjoy the perfect beer waiting on your food on the decking-like sitting area. I had the Tomahawk steak and it was cooked perfectly to my liking as per order. Mofaith and all the other staff are very friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back if I happen to pass by Vic Falls again. Highly recommended.

Guest house
Olga's - The Italian Corner is a guesthouse located in Livingstone, offering a convenient stay close to various attractions. The property features amenities such as complimentary wireless internet access and tour/ticket assistance. Guests can enjoy meals at the on-site restaurant or opt for room service during limited hours. The bar/lounge offers a variety of drinks to quench your thirst. While the pasta may not be exceptional, the excellent pizza makes it an okay place to dine.
This restaurant had good Italian food for this area. Their pizzas were good and seemed to be fire baked. The service was not great and there were a lot of mosquitoes outside, but the setting was nice.
Jim S — Google review
I haven't stayed at Olga's only went there to have a meal. I had the carbonara and my partner had the crocodile pizza and we had tiramisu for dessert. The pasta was extremely dry, not a lick of sauce to be found and the pizza wasn't bad necessarily but it wasn't really to my taste, perhaps it was just a little too different from what I was used to. The tiramisu was semi frozen (probably the consequences of load shedding) and the base was just a soggy mess.... it was barely edible. The only saving grace was that the staff were really polite and attentive. I was disappointed because of all the glowing reviews, perhaps they were just going through a rough patch.
Sipiwe D — Google review
Went three times for business meetings. Perfect spot if you want something quiet. Pizza was good. Unfortunately most of the food on the menu seems to be unavailable- might consider shrinking the menu as it’s a full booklet at the moment. Even the hot beverages only had tinned/ instant coffee and tea available. The staff were polite enough though but the service even for drinks seemed a little slow.
Trace — Google review
Me and my family went to Olgas and we ordered an obikwa Shiraz and he told us that the bottle was already open so my mother requested that he brought us it. He turned it around the other way so we could not see what wine it was. Me not knowing much about wine because I don’t drink too much. I poured our glasses. My mum looked at the bottle realised that the bottle he brought was called Just Wine a 45kwacha bottle when the one they have on the menu is 350kwacha. They also false advertising with things on the menu and they didn’t have half of the food on their menu. This place is a joke get your shit together
Jackson L — Google review
Ordered 3 pizzas and all 3 were disappointing. They were dry and hard to swallow, it felt like there was little to no sauce on the pizzas. It was like eating dry crust with some cheese on it, I was not impressed at all.
Matthijs W — Google review
I really liked my Margherita pizza first time but last night all the cheese was burnt on it. I would never serve a pizza to anyone like that. Disappointing.
Evi B — Google review
We were told we shouldnt order pizza, because they cannot prepare, they have none left, we can only eat pasta. We left then since we came specifically for the pizza.. but i guess food could be amazing, never tasted

Seafood restaurant
If you're in Livingstone and craving seafood, look no further than Ocean Basket Livingstone. This vibrant South African chain restaurant offers a delightful array of fresh seafood options, including sharing platters and sushi at reasonable prices. Despite being landlocked, the quality of their dishes is impressive; patrons rave about the generous portions and delicious flavors. From grilled calamari to hearty fish platters accompanied by rice and fries, every meal is beautifully presented.
It is amazing that such wonder seafood is available in a landlocked country, but we were not disappointed by Ocean Basket Livingstone. We ordered a huge platter of fish, rice, and potato fries. There was so much food that we could not finish it all.
Allan S — Google review
Surprisingly good selection of seafood with Mediterranean sensibility, reasonably priced. We had entrees of grilled calamari steak and a calamari trio, both with spinach and squash. Nice presentation and flavor, if a little heavily salted.
Peter F — Google review
Easy and quality seafood in town. You can have any fried, grilled, and fresh seafood. Price is just concern though.
