Busselton Jetty is an iconic 1.8-km wooden pier in Western Australia, featuring a train, underwater observatory, and interpretive center. It is a popular spot for swimming and beach activities along Geographe Bay. The Heritage Trail walk starts near the jetty at Railway House, offering cultural significance and connections to the region's timber industry.
Had a great time at Busselton Jetty! Took the train and it was super relaxing with awesome ocean views. The Underwater Observatory was amazing. Saw fish and coral up close, all under the sea. Really fun and easy way to spend a few hours. Highly recommend!
Paulo — Google review
The place is beautiful, clean, and well-organized. The jetty is stunning with a clean beach. Definitely worth coming here. There’s plenty of parking, it’s convenient, and besides the café, there are lots of activities you can do—there’s a park, skateboarding area, playground, and the beach. Everything is complete. A must-visit if you’re in Perth.
O O — Google review
Immaculately kept, run by the friendliest volunteers. 1.8km long so quite walkable, otherwise the little solar powered train can be taken. Buy tickets beforehand, if you have purchased online you still need to collect physical tickets. The train waits for 10 minutes before the return trip unless you have booked the underwater experience then it's 1 hour & 10 minutes. Other than that you walk back. On the day we went we were lucky to have a couple of dolphins
Rae R — Google review
It’s amazing how far the jetty goes when into Geographe bay. You can walk it all the way to the end or you can take the train by booking a ride. You can also add a ticket to the Underwater observatory where you descend down a set of stairs to go the under the sea to view the sea life that uses the underwater reef piles as their feeding ground. Quite therapeutic to stand there and watch the fish. Afterwards you can also visit the Marine discovery centre for some extra insight.
Shaun L — Google review
Entry fee to walk the jetty is $5 per person. If you want to experience the train ride it will cost you $18. It is easy to walk the entire distance of 1.8km and back - gives you the opportunity to take some photos. After around 5:30 pm the ticket office closes and you can walk the jetty for free enjoying beautiful sunset.

Busso Jetty is one of many places I take people to in my tours through the region. It has great history, amazing community volunteers who are all fabulous & is a great local attraction rich in many stories. Definately worth a look whether its just for a few happy snaps or a train ride & underwater observatory visit. Highly recommended.
Peter C — Google review
Today was our second time visiting Busselton jetty! And we loved it just as much as the first we visited! This time we went down to the underwater observatory, and it was so cool seeing the fish in the ocean and the coral on the jetty's posts! We had some fish and chips once we got back to the foreshore!
Jo — Google review
Very interesting and popular with tourists. Visitors can choose to take the train to the end of the Jetty or walk. Nice views and there is a big park to walk around in

Bistro

Breakfast restaurant
Located on the Busselton Foreshore for over 18 years, The Goose is a modern waterfront venue offering breakfast, sharing plates, and burgers in a vibrant atmosphere with outdoor seating. Following a tragic fire in 2021, the restaurant has been revitalized and is set to reopen soon. With an all-day dining concept and a woodburning grill at the heart of their culinary offerings, The Goose serves up delicious casual dishes using locally sourced ingredients such as seafood and grass-fed beef.
Great location, friendly service, delicious food, good wine selection. Walked past during the day on our way to the jetty and came back for an evening meal at sunset. Such a beautiful setting any time of the day, but especially when the sun is going down.
Anne F — Google review
Overall alright restaurant. Good parts are very salient—extremely good location and warm atmosphere allowing us to feel like a dating night. The potato pave and bang bang chicken wings were delicious and special! We also ordered the seafood chowder and pork pasta. Both were just ok or slightly below the ok line, in our opinions. The pasta was small in portion and didn’t really have a $32 pasta taste; while the seafood chowder was $38, the base soup didn’t have much fish pieces in, and the flavor wasn’t that outstanding. I gave “service” two stars, and honestly I think I’m being nice for the rating. We came here for an over $100 dinner for two of us, and I’d expect a bit more service. Since seated, no one serviced us with water. My partner went to get us some water, then he was told that water would be serviced. Same happened for the shared plates and a spoon. A bit disappointed with this part. Nice experience by the beach, also as it’s a restaurant that’s somewhat well-known, I’d recommend people to come and try. However I don’t think I’d want to come back again for the food.

Great view. Easy to order for big groups. Multiple orders on one table via the QR code. The food was excellent. Everything we ordered was top shelf. Loved the wings and the salt and pepper squid. The service was quick. Also, loved the specials on cocktails too. That lemon drop!
Holly C — Google review
First visit here since the restaurant refreshed and it was fantastic at brekky. The views are fantastic with no other restaurant nearby being as close to the water. We ate at leisure whilst watching the ocean waves and Busselton Jetty train go up and down. So relaxing 😌 We will be back to try out the lunch menu next time!
Jamie C — Google review
Recent visit to a “newly” renovated/ rebuilt Goose. Lovely indoor and outdoor decor and the food is decent. Sufficient eating and parking available but could get really busy during school holidays or peak seasonal times. Wait staff friendly and the area offers good views of the jetty.
Edmund L — Google review
The staff were very friendly and service was great. Food was delicious! We had the fish & chips and the Prawn pizza. Highly recommend. The view was also a bonus. So good, we went back for breakfast the following too and it was great too.
Edele — Google review
Lovely location and ambience. We had dinner there on Sunday night over a long weekend. Not bad for food. Service was slow as the wait staff did not seem to see patrons waving at them to get them to table for order. It got the attention of other patrons coming in though. The place looked under staffed. Food took around 30 to 40 minutes to arrive.
Fiona Y — Google review
We stopped in for breakfast at The Goose today and unfortunately left underwhelmed. We ordered the “create your own” crispy bacon on toast ($12). What arrived was two small slices of bacon and lightly warmed bread that was barely toasted, plus we had to spread our own butter. For the price, it felt very sparse. We also tried the eggs on toast ($16), and again, the toast was hardly toasted. Adding a small cup of cold hollandaise for another $3 didn’t help much. It really should have been warm. Overall, the breakfast was below average and poor value for money. We expected something a lot more satisfying and better prepared, given the popularity of the venue. Over-rated.

Busselton Foreshore is a beautifully developed green space along the beachfront, featuring Norfolk pine-lined paths that connect the iconic Jetty to Busselton CBD. Visitors can enjoy wide paved walking and cycling trails with various playgrounds, picnic areas, and well-lit facilities. The foreshore offers stunning views of Geographe Bay and provides opportunities for swimming, outdoor activities, and relaxation.
Very cool beach, protected beach swimming enclosure, plenty of forshore, parks, playgrounds cafes and restaurants, lots of parking areas for your cars and caravan's, all within easy walking distance to all of the above

This is a nice seaside promenade area in Busselton with a few restaurants, Visitor Centre, the famous 1.84 km long Busselton Jetty, dedicated swimming area and park. There are a couple of monuments, fun children's playground area, public toilets and plenty of parking. It is a nice area to spend time for families and pretty much anyone who enjoys being by the sea.

Can't believe we killed 5hrs this morning with our toddler just at Busso Jetty foreshore! Came for the jetty train, then the playgrounds and Shelter brewery for lunch, with a quick dip in the clearest water. Been so well maintained and designed, my toddler loved the entire spot. What a stunning location!

Wonderful place and breathtaking scenery and for kids too! Great time to visit during spring for picnic

Last train during winter months is 3pm. I suggest you come early to secure your tix before exploring the foreshore while waiting, else you could be disappointed. You can always enjoy the walk. Very windy during winter ;)

Nestled by the tranquil waters of Geographe Bay, Shelter Brewing Co. is a gastropub and restaurant offering a delectable array of brews and mouthwatering meals throughout the day. The spacious industrial-style venue boasts indoor and outdoor seating, allowing guests to bask in the sunshine or stay cozy during winter. Share plates are a highlight, featuring woodfired pizzas, seasonal salads, and chili mussels.
Great local brewery/ pub that caters to small and large groups. Service staff are warm and the food is decent. Wait time for food is within reason. You will want to make reservations If group size is more than 6. Ample parking and certain tables will have views of the jetty. Outside sitting is available for patrons with pets or wanting to bask in the sub/ gas heaters. Payment is cashless via their online ordering or the wait staff can take your orders and payment made via eftpos.
Edmund L — Google review
Shelter Brewing Co has a great location right by the foreshore with a lively vibe and plenty of seating. The beers are decent and the setting makes it a good spot to relax. That said, the experience didn’t quite live up to the hype. Service was a bit slow, the food was average for the price, and surprisingly there were no fish and chips on the menu – which felt like a big miss for a coastal brewery. Overall, it’s more about the venue than the quality. Worth a visit, but not outstanding – 3 stars.
B M — Google review
The clams were tasty and fresh, really good if you like seafood. Service was fine, staff friendly and helpful. Bread came complimentary at first, but we finished it quickly and ordered more. Charged full price, no discount. Weird because it’s $2 only if we had bought it together. Burger was just okay, nothing special at all. Overall, it’s a tourist spot near Busselton jetty, easy to walk to, nice vibes but food average. Go for the location, not the food.
KC — Google review
Recently dined at Shelter as a newly diagnosed coeliac. I spoke with the staff there and was assured they have a dedicated hot chip fryer and that their gluten free buns are toasted on a separate grill to normal buns. You can order via table QR codes or speak with a person to ensure any specific requirements are properly detailed. I ordered the cheeseburger on a gluten free bun. The burger was massive and tasty, I couldn't even finish it. Definitely recommend.⭐️

We came for a mid-journey snack as we drove towards Margaret River. The garlic butter mussels (mild spicy) were good value for money. They came with 2 slices of bread for dipping into the sauce. The mussels were fresh, and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Service was prompt and great. We got a nice seat facing Busselton Jetty. There were some road closures along the way but didn’t affect the traffic much.

— Conveniently located right by Busselton Jetty, we stopped by here twice during a short stay in Busselton - once for lunch and the other for post dinner drinks. The beer paddles are great for trying out their many different beers. Really liked the huge space too with high ceilings, with both indoor and outdoor seating options. We also picked up some cute merch and takeaway drinks on our last day in Busso! (Photos by @annopano)

We dropped by for an evening on the weekend and were relieved to find no queue, which we were seated quickly and could relax right away. The pork chop was delicious, really standing out as a highlight of the meal. The pizza was average in flavor. Nice touch that coloring sheets were given to kids complimentary, which kept them entertained before the meal. We spent $90 for 2 adults and 2 children.

Fantastic food, the squid is a must order. Might head back for dinner again later tonight. Pizzas were awesome, chicken wings are to die for. They also have plenty of options and tasting slates available for their beers.

Australian restaurant

Hummingbird is a bright and airy restaurant and cafe in Busselton, offering contemporary Australian cuisine for breakfast and lunch. The menu features bold flavors showcasing the best local produce, with dishes like miso pork belly and garlic tiger prawns. Popular breakfast items include buttermilk pancakes, granola bowl, chilli scramble, and breakfast gnocchi. The venue also offers a variety of beverages including coffee, tea, fresh juices, cocktails, and mocktails.
The food was absolutely delicious, My favorites were the lotus starter, bhindi subji, the chilli naan and the tap beer, which was just as crisp as I expected. My family and some friends who live in Busselton recommended Hummingbird to me and it has now become one of my favorite restaurants. I’ll definitely be coming back again with more friends and family. This visit was also special because, for the first time, my seven-year-old son enjoyed a full meal by himself—he especially loved the lotus starter and the biryani. Well done and good luck to the team👍 Hummingbird is one of the best places to enjoy Indian food in Busselton. I would even suggest opening a restaurant in Perth, as I am from there and would love to visit more often. The prices were also very reasonable. Thank you again for the delicious food🙏 we will be back again.
Mehul P — Google review
Who knew this local cafe served Indian Food? I didn’t and drove past heading to the local Chinese. We turned around when I saw they were serving dinner. New owners and it was fantastic. Delicious. Flavousome. I’ve eaten a lot of Indian in my time and this was really good. Not spicy so ask for more if you want it. We had vegetarian options. The Vegetarian sharing platter was large enough for three. The lotus root chaat was refreshing and healthy and the shahi paneer cashew creamy and rich, soaked up with great naan. Though missing lassi they have plenty of drink options. Now I’m waiting for the kulfi ice cream.
Grahak P — Google review
Having previously enjoyed items off Hummingbird’s “regular” menu, we were intrigued by their new Indian menu. We decided to order the Vegetarian Sharing Platter for Two and the Mughlai Beef and Prawns dish, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Our phone order was accepted cheerfully and the order ready on time. Our meal was great! The sharing plate was very generous, with yummy, nicely spiced samosas the size of a tennis ball taking centre stage, with achari Paneer tikka, Veg pakoras, Beetroot Kebab & Mushroom Bread. All were delicious and served with dipping sauces. The Beef and Prawns dish was equally good, with a flavoursome and rich sauce. We like spicy food but decided to go medium to get a baseline - next time we will request spicy for that extra tingle. So pleased that Hummingbird’s well-known quality has extended to fabulous Indian cuisine as well - looking forward to trying some of the many other fabulous-sounding menu items! I will mention the atmosphere as well, as we have visited on several occasions. It’s bright, open, and relaxed, and a wonderfully sunny spot in the daytime. I have found that with its open space and hard surfaces it can be rather noisy at times, however that does not diminish its popularity. I can also recommend the desserts! Didn’t order any this time, but they sure are nice :-)
Liswar S — Google review
This place truly deserves six stars! From the moment we arrived at Hummingbird Café in Busselton, we were struck by its warmth, charm, and relaxed vibe. The décor is stylish yet cosy, with lots of natural light and greenery that makes it feel like a true retreat. But what really set it apart for us was how thoughtfully everything was done — from the food to the service to the location. Their gluten-free options are absolutely outstanding. So often, gluten-free menus feel like a compromise, but not here. We enjoyed gluten-free toast that was soft and flavourful, muffins that tasted like they were baked fresh that morning, and even beautifully plated gluten-free versions of their signature big breakfast and smashed avo. Every dish was generous, vibrant, and clearly made with love. You could really taste the difference that fresh, quality ingredients make. The coffee was just as impressive — strong, smooth, and perfectly brewed. I had an oat milk flat white that honestly ranks among the best I’ve had on this trip through WA. And their cold-pressed juices and other beverage options made for a lovely touch. What made this visit even more enjoyable was the fact that Hummingbird is located right beside a kids’ playground. It made such a difference for us as parents — our children could play safely within view while we actually got to enjoy our coffee and food without stress. It’s such a thoughtful setup for families and really elevated the whole experience. Service was exceptional. Even though the place was buzzing with people, the staff were attentive, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable, especially when it came to food allergies and special diets. They made sure we were well looked after, and their genuine warmth didn’t go unnoticed. All in all, Hummingbird is more than just a café — it’s a place where everyone, whether you’re gluten-free, a coffee lover, or a parent with young kids, can feel at ease and well taken care of. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in Busselton — it’s a rare gem that gets everything right.

If you’re in town, don’t miss Hummingbird Cafe’s breakfast! Their homemade dishes—like fluffy pancakes and the famous hummingbird cake—are bursting with fresh, comforting flavors. It’s the perfect cozy spot to fuel your day with hearty, made-from-scratch goodness. We ordered their shakshuka and big brekkie, their coffee is good for your morning caffeine fix.

The food is cooked to perfection with amazing flavors and generous portion sizes, offering dishes like steak, fish of the day, signature skewers, butter chicken, succulent burgers, and juicy ribeye steaks. Customers have praised the delicious food made with fresh ingredients and the friendly service provided by accommodating staff. The atmosphere is described as nice and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy a meal.
Delicious, fresh and amazing customer service. The portions were very generous and the sides were excellent. We ordered the full rack of ribs and onion rings between the two of us, and we were very full. Nice and clean inside with plenty of seats available, highly recommend. We will definitely be back next time we're in Busselton.

The restaurant setting was tidy, elegant, and inviting. The staff service was outstanding from the moment we walked in. We were warmly greeted, and one of the staff members provided excellent recommendations with clear communication, making my family and me feel genuinely welcomed on our first visit. The food? Absolutely incredible. Honestly, some of the best I’ve ever had. My personal favorites were the Peri Peri chicken and the wedges, and the mocktails I tried were just perfect. Overall, I would 100% recommend everyone to dine here

I had a fantastic dining experience at The Pan and Grill in Busselton. I ordered the scotch fillet, and it was absolutely perfect—tender, juicy, and cooked to absolute perfection. The flavors were spot on, and I could tell the quality of the meat was top-notch. My friend had the tandoori chicken, and I have to say, it was equally impressive. The chicken was full of flavor, tender, and had just the right amount of spice. It was one of the best-tasting tandoori dishes we've had in a while. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was attentive. Overall, a great place for a delicious meal—I highly recommend it!

At first glance, the exterior of this restaurant might not catch your eye but the food speaks otherwise. You'll find a warm and inviting atmosphere with staff that puts in their best effort to serve you. I started with the onion rings, and they were nothing short of spectacular. Each ring was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, served with BBQ sauce. The fish tacos were next on my list. The fish was incredibly fresh and flaky, complemented by a vibrant slaw and a zesty sauce that added just the right amount of kick topped with guacamole on top. Each bite was a harmonious blend of flavors and textures that left me wanting more. For the main course, I indulged in the porterhouse steak and the Scoth fillet. The porterhouse was a masterpiece, cooked to a perfect medium-rare with a juicy, tender center and a beautifully seared crust. The Scothern fillet was equally impressive. The steaks came with a Red Wine Jus and Mushroom Sauce. Peppercorn is also available as a sauce selection. This restaurant may have an unassuming exterior, but it's a true hidden gem that promises a memorable dining experience. If you're looking for a place to eat that closes a little later (at 8.30pm), look no further than Pan & Grill.

Amazing food, helpful and friendly staff and a nice, relaxed atmosphere. The signature skewers are well worth trying. A year later and still good. Ribs are amazing, but the staffing seems a bit erratic.

First time here. We caught up with some local friends and had the chicken parmigiana, grilled fish and a schnitzel sandwich. The special was the beef skewer which looked amazing. We'll have that next time. The staff were very friendly and the food fresh and tasty.

Emerald Chinese and Vietnamese Restaurant offers a delightful fusion of Chinese and Vietnamese dishes, making it a popular choice for families and groups. Situated conveniently in the town center, the restaurant boasts a cozy ambiance with dim lighting and comfortable furnishings. Visitors praise the attentive staff and commend the generous portion sizes. The menu features delectable options such as combination chow mein, honey chicken, satay beef, and special fried rice.
The best Chinese and Vietnamese food we’ve had!!! The pho was literally to die for 😍 In all the places we’ve tried, we’ve never come across a pho with such deep flavour and well balanced taste profile. The staff are very polite and attentive, as well as friendly and accommodating. It’s a shame we don’t live in Busselton as we would be coming every day. Can’t wait to come back for more!

NEGATIVE REVIEW 1. Went there on Easter Sunday. There was a hair in the Sizzling Mongolian Lamb. Showed it to the waiter guy. He made funny face and went inside to talk. Never came back, never acknowledged it or NEVER APOLOGISED. Absolutely ruined the dinner. So I would recommend not to ruin your awesome holiday eating someone’s hair by paying high price. 2. The vegetables were completely raw. Maybe their style of cooking but not fun to eat with bunch of sauce. Was dead hungry and waited so much to enjoy nothing. The best item was sizzling dish with hair in it. If they apologised I would thought it was rush time and forget it all! But they ignored and we paid so much for the holiday surcharge included. Would I go again? NEVER.

Quite quick service and reasonable price, food, unfortunately I thought would've been better this place being in the town centre. Bought one chicken fried rice, was oily and should've been more freshly made.
Ayesh B — Google review
Ordered satay chicken. The chicken is raw, not even cooked, cannot be eaten. Quite often the wait at this shop is ridiculous as it is never busy to justify the waiting times. Everytime I pay at the restaurant the lady grabs the card out of my hand and does it herself which I find very disrespectful, I’m capable of inserting/swiping my own card.
Zoe F — Google review
The food is certainly hit or miss. Chicken curry had only 3 very small pieces of chicken in it, so very small that we all thought I had ordered the vegetarian option. The salt and spice chicken and chicken fried rice was good however. But a chicken curry with no chicken makes us look elsewhere in the future. Shame as last time we ordered the curry it was great.

I am taking the left overs to the health department. We had fried rice, honey chicken and sweet and sour pork. we received two serves of the pork and no spring rolls as ordered. We would give give minus 10 if we could.

WORST RESTAURANT EVER!!! DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!! They will charge more than you order, if you ask for receipt they only have a written copy. When you count it will totally different, and the lady will show you their calculator which is not correct amount!! Don’t know how they play with the calculator And the total will give you some extra charge don’t know where it’s from. When I complained she laughed sarcastically!!!

The Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse is a renowned destination in the Southern coast of Western Australia, providing breathtaking panoramic views from its accessible balcony. It is a popular spot to witness the stunning sunset, with the sky turning into beautiful hues of pink and orange every evening. The lighthouse offers two options for visitors - a self-walk around by paying $5 or book for a guided tour at $15. Additionally, it serves as an excellent location to observe southern whales during their migration season.
we visited Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse. The sky was partially covered with clouds, giving the place a dramatic yet peaceful atmosphere. From the top, the views stretched endlessly over the coastline, turquoise waters meeting rugged cliffs, with waves rolling in the distance. The site is steeped in history, and as we explored, we learned about the lighthouse’s role in guiding ships and protecting sailors over the decades. Standing there, surrounded by fresh ocean air and the sound of the wind, it felt like stepping back in time while still being deeply connected to the beauty of the present moment.

Great place to visit. The lighthouse tour is well worth taking to understand the history of the site. Amazing place to see whales from the lighthouse balcony and also the viewing deck.
Nick I — Google review
Great location with lots of different hikes suitable for any fitness level. Only had two hours, but managed to see some whales at the whale watching outpost and also visited the historical lighthouse.
Baz P — Google review
Nice for a quick sightsee. Used to be free but now $6 per adult or $3 for a child over 4+ or $17 for adult to do a trip up and a tour of the actual inside of the lighthouse. Not the end of the world but nevertheless added costs for families planning a trip to see it just so you’re aware. Facilities have also been revamped and improved. Wheelchair access friendly also.
Ssidewayz — Google review
Beautiful lighthouse with a chance to spot whales. There is a kids playground in the entrance and a cute little museum for the kids, lighthouse seems to be well maintained, stunning view all around!
Sonia L — Google review
You can pay a heritage fee (under $10) to view the area, or you can climb the lighthouse for a higher fee (under $20). We chose to walk the lighthouse loop track which gave us some view of the lighthouse but a lot of entertainment from the whales who were frolicking and playing. A beautiful sight.
Lauren — Google review
What a brilliant experience! From the moment we arrived, the views from the lighthouse were simply amazing! The museum was surprisingly informative, offering a fascinating glimpse into the history and workings of the lighthouse. However, the highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the lighthouse tour itself. It was a truly brilliant experience, and our guide, Jodi, made it extra special. Jodi was fantastic – so friendly and approachable, and her knowledge was truly impressive. She answered all our questions with enthusiasm and made the whole tour engaging and enjoyable. We spent a wonderful couple of hours here and honestly can't recommend this lighthouse and museum visit enough. If you're in the area, it's a must-do visit.

Hiking Trails
Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park is a coastal nature area that offers popular activities such as surfing, hiking, and picnicking. It boasts panoramic lookout points with beautiful coastline views and wildflowers during the spring season. However, some of the track signs have faded or fallen over, which could be frustrating for tourists who are unfamiliar with the area and may result in getting lost or taking the wrong path. It is advisable to take a photo of the big map sign before starting.
This is a free access national park that stretches the length of the southwest corner of WA from the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse (north) to the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse (south), taking in around 120km of beautiful coastline dotted with interesting rock formations, pristine beaches, caves, heavily wooded forests as well as the famous Margaret River wine country. We stayed several nights in Margaret River and enjoyed time exploring the national park for several days. There is good hiking available. We particularly enjoyed the Meelup Trail in the north near Cape Naturaliste. The beaches are beautiful, Hamelin Beach in particular is fun to visit as there are stingrays that cruise the shallows that you can see up close. Lots of good wine and food in the region as well. Overall, very much enjoyed our days within and around Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park. Along with Margaret River activities, this is a great outdoor area with plenty to do/see/taste/try for pretty much anyone. Very much looking forward to return visits.
Brad — Google review
The park has stunning views, with large rocks mixed with endemic vegetation. The trail runs between the rocks, with waves crashing on both sides. The wind was extremely strong, which made the experience a bit challenging.
Arthur A — Google review
A lovely drive to this magnificent viewpoint. Very well set out amenities and well built viewing platform. This was a reasonably calm day, and it was still magic seeing the power of the waves entering the channel under the bridge... my second time here, and won't be my last.
Faye A — Google review
Great experience with the museum and lighthouse keepers cottage as well as the actual lighthouse. Great to learn some of the stories from the light house and absolutely stunning views
Becky — Google review
Absolutely beautiful! Worth the trail, which is not very long! Be careful of snakes if you're visiting during summer! They were building a boardwalk when we visited, so we took a different route and it was muddy but once it's finished it will be easier to get to the falls The sandy area can be a bit tough for some but not impossible. So many scenic views along the way! Recommend going here end of winter and around spring time! Travel light water, sunscreen, some snacks. Being a reserve, dogs are not allowed. There's a public restroom, a squat toilet to be exact. Reception/weak is weak or non existent. As always, let's respect the land and keep ot clean.
Klyne — Google review
At Canal Rocks, the view is simply gorgeous, waves crashing against the rocks, the smell of the sea, rock formations that are so big, and loads of wild flowers
Cindy C — Google review
Simply spectacular National park, with some beautiful walking trails, beaches, and places for whale watching. Quite a few points of interest, including a lighthouse, wildflowers and a few cave spots too. Great for walks with plenty of routes to choose from!
Kerbray — Google review
This is my 2nd time in Margaret river but my first time hiking in this national park. The view going up is breathtaking and also able to reach the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse but be prepared the trail can be quite challenging so make sure you have a proper walking or hiking shoes. But the view is definitely worth all the effort and sweat.

Outstanding beers Fantastic staff Generous tasting paddles that you can switch out a couple of beers if you want to. Still one of the best Kolsch you'll get in WA We got there for opening so can comment on atmosphere and we didn't have food. Great range of merchandise and takeaways

Great place for brunch / lunch. It has a beautiful lawn with an amazing view. Great to have beer to relax while waiting for your table. Service staff were very friendly and professional. Food was nice but really special or distinctive. The wait for the food is easily 30 mins on a weekend. A beautiful amazing place, recommend visiting f

Had a great lunch for two here. Ambience was. I’ve the service was great too. When I came the QR code ordering system was down. But that didn’t stop the service from being great. Loved the view of nature from the restaurant.

We ordered the fish & chips and soba noodles dish. The fish and chips were so good (one of the best i’ve ever had). The fish was soft and tender and the chips were crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The soba noodle dish was unique and very refreshing on a summer’s day. The portions were generous too. 10/10 would recommend!

Been here a second time and it still doesn’t disappoint. One of my favourite breweries to visit when I come to the Margaret River region. Food was great, especially the various pizzas. The drinks were amazing. Personally loved the cacao stout but the other beers were also highly recommended. Atmosphere was lovely and the scenery was beautiful.
Jonathan T — Google review
This is probably the best brewery I’ve been to down south. The location is stuff, it looks over some rolling green fields/farm with animals. The staff were knowledgeable and patient as I asked too many questions and made jokes that didn’t land. The different types of beer were fantastic. We got the seasonal paddle which was 18$ and a bargain considering how you get to try six different beers. The wood fire pizza was incredible, 100% recommend that. The merch was also very well priced. It was a great experience and I’ll happily drag some friends there in the future

We stopped for lunch, fantastic place. The views were great, food excellent and really good beer. Wish it was my local.
Paul W — Google review
We really enjoy Eagle Bay as a place to go with the kids and enjoy lunch. But as some reviews have said before, while the quality of the beer is good, the atmosphere is lovely and staff are friendly as well; the quality of the food is could be better given the options in the area. Most of the competition are wineries who put on quality food with a good selection. The options at Eagle Bay were fairly limited and the quality didn’t come through. I took one glance at a burger served to another table and immediately said “nope!” A place like this would be amazing if it offered more options for mains, and even 3-4 types of burgers that looked the part for a $30 burger and chips. Hopeful the feedback is useful; always good to see replies to reviews and hope to visit again with a better experience. 😊

The perfect place for a lovely family day out. The staff are really friendly and accommodating. Plenty of animals to feed and pet. Nice to have some interaction space where the kids can pick up rabbits and Guinea pigs and feed alpaca's, ponies, sheep and goats. The play area was great, clean, massive and aircon. My little boy didn't want to leave. The bumper cars were good too. A great family morning, highly recommended!

Country Life Farm was one of the best family stops on our road trip! It’s a fantastic hands-on experience for young kids and a great option for a sunny or rainy day. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the kids were buzzing with excitement. There are loads of animals to see and feed—rabbits, goats, alpacas, ponies, kangaroos, deer, and even emus. The highlight for my children was bottle-feeding the baby animals and getting up close with some of the fluffier residents. Everything is set up for interaction and learning. Apart from the animals, there’s a small merry-go-round, bouncing castles, and paddle boats that are perfect for younger kids. There’s also a covered area for picnics and snacks, plus shaded spots for resting between activities. It’s clear the place is family-run and lovingly maintained. It wasn’t crowded when we went, which made it even more enjoyable. Don’t forget to bring your camera—there are plenty of photo ops! Highly recommend for families with toddlers and primary school-aged children. A wholesome, fun-filled experience that’s well worth the entry fee.

This place is the best and i can't recommend it enough for families with kids of any age. My 1.5year old had a blast feeding all the animals with the carrot sticks provided. She particular loved the enclosed rabbit and Guinea pig area and getting up close with them all and patting them. The merry go round was a big hit too. The massive indoor playground was accommodating for every age baby and child and had such a variety of toys and equipment. My daughter was so exhausted from all the fun we didn't even get a chance to go on the water boats but definantly will next time. This place is soo good. The staff are very friendly and overall its so affordable for a great family day out. I will definitely be back!!!!
Nicole S — Google review
Returned for the second time, and this gem keeps stealing my heart! Feeding the gentle alpacas and horses (their eyelashes deserve an award) never gets old—they’ll melt your soul with every nuzzle. The owners are pure sunshine, showering guests with extra carrots and warmth, while the boat guide paddles with stories as calm as the lake itself. It’s rare to find a place that feels like a hug from nature. Whether you’re cuddling furry friends or gliding across mirror-like waters, every moment here is pure magic. Already planning visit #3—this spot is a reset button for the soul. 🌿🦙💫

Amazing experience, the staff were attentive and on point. We sat by the kitchen and were amazed at the cleanliness, tidiness and efficiency of the Chef and his staff, well done. Food was excellent, all the dishes were extremely tasty and well thought out. The wine pairings were spot on and a cheeky whisky to finish the night👌

Had the set 3 course dinner, incredible. Could tell every element in each dish was well thought, intentional and the produce was fresh and high quality. Swooped away by how delicious their own Yarra sourdough was and that was only the beginning. Each meal was served in a steady, timely manner and had the sweetest waitress. Particularly loved all the details and flavours in the entrees, the punchy brussel sprouts as sides and the pistachio ice cream in the dessert. Looking forward to coming back again.

We had dinner at yarri's last night for our anniversary. It did not disappoint! 🤩 Right up our street! Front the second we walk through the door a calm buzz and wonderful aroma. We were greeted and our coats taken and shown to our table. Waitress ran through menu with us and was very thorough and so knowledgeable. Food was amazing we got the 3 courses and it didn't disappoint. My personal favourite was the duck liver parfait. Thank you guys a wonderful experience throughout we will 💯 be back and 💯 will recommend to friends and family. Keep up the great work!

We came to celebrate special day at Yarri, we were welcomed with a big smile and a congratulationa, it was lovely. We chose to take the 6 cores fixed menu and paired it with wine. The dishes were interesting, with different flavors, a little bit too small, but definitely unique. The wine was paired perfectly, it was amazing combination. The service was outstanding and we felt that we being taken care of. The only downside is that It was a bit pricey to what you get. I assume it was a "touristic text" that was added to the pricing;) For us it was one and done, probably never going back there again 🤷🏼‍♀️ Ohh an important thing do not rely on Ubers, we get stuck and had to pay very expensive taxi back to our accommodation.

We had a lovely evening and dinner at Yarris. Opted for the 3 course set meal as we had a heavy lunch. Amazing service - Zennai was such a nice host, constantly checking in. Little Saigon Authentic Vietnamese Restaurant is a charming find, boasting a cozy ambiance with soothing music and ample seating. Guests appreciate the accommodating service and fresh, MSG-free fare.
Front of house was super friendly and we felt very welcomed from the start. I had their rice noodle with pork - pork was beautifully cooked and seasoned with a very char, and the rice noodles were perfectly springy, fresh and aromatic thanks to the combination of herbs, nuts, and their homemade sauce. I’ve had many bun cha’s and this ranks easily among the top for one so unassuming. 💯 recommended

The food was delicious and the lady that served us was really nice. Generous servings. I highly recommend this place. Satay chicken was beautiful and so were the prawns and broccoli 🥦
P M — Google review
Poor experience. We are Chinese, we know how easy the Pho will be served/cooked. However, we waited more than for 30 mins, nothing been cooked yet. In Perth, I could say all the Pho house served within 15 mins. Basicially, to cook the pho, you just need to boiled the noodles, scoop up the soup (normally prepared in the morning or day before) in the bowl, and place the beef/beef ball on the surface. That’s it! The reason late might be they want to make people think they are busy, it shouldn’t be that long. After we gone, heard the waitress told the new coming customer they need to wait for one hour for the food! Ridiculous!
Chen E — Google review
The pho here is decent but probably not worth the $20 price tag. The good thing is — the bean sprouts and herbs are super clean, clearly picked and prepared properly, which is rare and appreciated. However, the meat portion is quite small — only about four or five thin slices plus a few pieces of sliced beef ball. Flavour-wise it’s fine, but for the price I’d expect a bit more generosity on the meat side.

Full bodied flavor of authentic broth which doesnt stint on the quality of ingredients and preparation. Efficient unobtrusive staff. Pleasant clean surroundings with restful music. Plenty of seating with various seating combinations for four to 12 without feeling cramped. The chilly water was also very refreshing on a summery day. Definitely a go to when we are next in the area. Highly recommended.

Awesome beach front view and very sumptuous meal. The is no fixed menu, it's set lunch for the day. We were pleasantly delighted by the combination from starters to main dish, not to mention the chocolate and caramel dessert.

Restaurant
Nestled in the scenic Margaret River area, Meelup Farmhouse is a charming restaurant located on a hobby farm in Eagle Bay. The rustic coastal chic decor exudes a relaxed and casual vibe, making it an ideal gathering spot for families and friends. The focus here is on fresh, seasonal, and hyper-local food with no pretentious techniques or challenging combinations of ingredients. Guests can leisurely wander the grounds and meet the free-range chooks while enjoying beautiful bush views.
We have been to Meelup Farmhouse for a several times and we always had a great time. The ambience is relaxing and the food was delicious. Great for both small and large gatherings. Love that the decor is nicely rustic and seamless blend with nature. This time we had steak and tuna ceviche and matcha latte and we enjoyed them. Thank you.

We had a lovely lunch celebrating my hubby's birthday. The food was sensational! We ordered so much, but the salmon was our favourite! It was soooo good, succulent and full of flavour. The kids received generous food portions which they thoroughly enjoyed. The waitstaff were so friendly and accommodating too. We cannot wait to visit again next time!!

Great food, on the pricier side but honestly not bad for the location, atmosphere and staff (plus their adorable dog!). Good for a special occasion and great for kids with lots of farm animals and a designated kids menu. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area! PS. Be warned, regular drinks can be on the small side (see photos: both drinks were ordered as ‘regular’)

We spent the most beautiful afternoon at Meelup Farmhouse. The setting is stunning, relaxed, spacious, and surrounded by nature. Our kids loved exploring the grounds while we enjoyed the wine list and seriously delicious food. The highlight was seeing a baby chick hatch right in the coop such a special moment! We can’t wait to come back.

We had lunch here today (Thursday) without a booking and didn’t need to wait. We sat at the bar with amazing views, not at a table. We ordered the hummus with carrots, the brie with bread, the chips with rosemary salt, the lamb as a main, and to finish off, the cheesecake and the pistachio brownie with two coffees (flat white and almond cap). Everything was scrumptious, honestly. A solid 10/10! The place has a lovely vibe and the staff are super friendly. I only wish I lived closer so I could come more often. 😄

Staff were friendly and helpful. Coffee was great and in huge cups. Food wasn’t that exciting for the price - some overcooked, some lacking in flavour and not freshly cooked. Our fussy kids weren’t fans of the menu. Gorgeous setting and decor. It’s lovely to wander around and visit the farm animals.

Food was average, but the atmosphere made it a pleasant spot for a simple brunch. The farm was clean and well-organised, though not particularly outstanding.

Great environment for gatherings of families with children - chicken feed will be provided along with the kids meal. Perhaps the food was not to our tasting, but overall was a good experience to have close encounter with the local farm animals.
