The Three Sisters walk is a must-visit in the Blue Mountains, located near the quaint town of Katoomba. This iconic landmark features three weathered sandstone peaks steeped in Aboriginal legend. The walk offers stunning views of the rock formation and surrounding landscapes, including Lincoln Rock with its epic mountain and valley vistas. A visit to the Blue Mountains promises an unforgettable experience with its Aussie bushland, wildlife, and rich cultural heritage.
The Three Sisters Lookout offers breathtaking views that are absolutely worth the visit! The scenery is stunning, with panoramic vistas of the iconic rock formation and surrounding valleys. The area is well-maintained, and the viewing platforms provide a perfect, safe spot for photos or quiet reflection. Whether you're a tourist or local, it's a memorable and inspiring experience. Don’t miss it!

The place is beautiful! The hiking trails are very well marked, but unfortunately some paths are closed. There are lots of viewpoints where you can admire the mountains! The only downside is that buses full of tourists come and go. So the entrance is crowded, but as soon as you venture off the beaten track, there's no one around!
Kenza M — Google review
The scenery presents a breathtaking panorama of the natural world, a testament to the beauty of untouched wilderness. The cascading water creates a soothing ambiance, contributing to the overall tranquility of the location. These long track walks meander through diverse landscapes, offering various perspectives of the mountain. Such natural splendor provides a rejuvenating experience, far removed from the stresses of daily life. This is a destination that captures the essence of a perfect escape, offering a harmonious blend of adventure and serenity.

Absolutely breathtaking views! The Three Sisters Lookout offers one of the most iconic and stunning sceneries in the Blue Mountains. The panoramic cliffs, lush valleys, and the majestic rock formations are simply unforgettable. The lookout is easy to access, with plenty of walking tracks nearby for those who want to explore further. A must-visit spot if you’re in NSW – perfect for photos, nature walks, or just soaking in the beauty of Australia. Highly recommend!

Visiting the Three Sisters in Katoomba was such a magical experience. The moment we arrived, we were completely amazed by the breathtaking mountain views and the calm beauty of nature. My family and I also took a ride on the Scenic Railway, which is said to be the most inclined railway in the world, and it was such an unforgettable thrill. The air was fresh and crisp, and the weather quite cold, so a warm jacket is a must. It’s truly one of those places that makes you stop and appreciate how stunning the world can be.
Linh-Dan N — Google review
Glorious The views are spectacular. A nice little kiosk and gift shop to purchase souvenirs from and includes a tourist information centre at the back to get all your details from of what to see and do while in Katoomba. A water bottle filling station is provided also to fill your drink bottles with fresh water. Nice tidy toilet facilities.
Karen D — Google review
Windy as usual but does not detract from the amazing views. Greatly improved access since our last visit pre Covid with adequate platform viewing even with a couple of coaches of visitors. There is a small paid parking area or look for off street paid parking. Can get a hot drink, meal or souvenir at the Lookout Echo Point plaza 5 min walk from the Three Sisters.

I came here over 30 years ago but during to the weather I never got to see the 3 Sisters. I have now managed that bucket list and have seen them by day and light up at night. Stunning very special.

The Giant Stairway is a challenging yet rewarding segment of a day-long hike, offering stunning views of the Three Sisters rock formations. This historic stone and steel staircase, opened in 1932, features over 800 steps that lead adventurers down the rugged terrain. The descent includes almost vertical situations and offers a glimpse into the area's past with some original carved stairs still intact.
The Tasman Arch is spectacular. My wife and I stepped up to the fence and the scene took our breath away. Some great walks in the area. We went to the beach at Pirates cove even though it was cool. A beautiful drive to get there and several places to stop for oysters etc!
Tedd S — Google review
The Giant Stairway is exactly that. Just under 1000 stairs to tackle. The views are stunning. I took my time to take in the views so others had to walk around me. I wasn't rushing for anyone. Lol... It's a must do when you visit Katoomba.
Karen D — Google review
Come on and push yourself to get soaked into this mesmerised experience. It does some level of fitness and will to do however its worth it.
Ankit S — Google review
Not for the faint of heart - Steep stairs We walked down for about 20 minutes and could not see the bottom of the stairs looking down. The way back up is way harder 🤣 Overall it was fun.
Matthew W — Google review
Breathtaking (in the truest sense of the word)! It's exhausting but well worth every step of the way. The vistas are majestic, and if you are lucky, you even stumble upon some lyrebirds. I was lucky enough to see 4, one making all kinds of weird and funny sounds.
Walter S — Google review
Great place to hike if you're here to see the three sisters. It's at the side and the stairs are pretty narrow and steep. Be extra careful especially after rain. It should take you about 15 minutes to get to the bottom. When you are at the bottom, you can walk on the trails which is pretty much flat.
ArChy — Google review
A great place to hike/trek. However, it is not for the faint hearted. Some parts of the staircase are really steep and just hanging by the side of the cliff/mountain, looking down will turn your leg jelly. The passage is small and enough for 1 person so take note when there are people going in both directions. Nearing the base the path opens up and you get more greenery. Going down was not too bad, just had to go slow and watch the step. Going up I think can be a killer, it's a really tiring climb up. We climbed down and walked 1hr to the scenic world base station. Scenic world ride back to the top ends at 4:50pm, if you miss the last ride back up you have to climb the stairs (Giant Stairway) all the way back up - so take note.
Sadiq A — Google review
If you are looking for a challenge, this is it. Almost 1000 steps. I’m 70 years old and if I could do it, you can too. We went down the Ferber stairs and up the Giant. Beautiful walk!

Transportation
Tramways
Scenic World, located in the Blue Mountains Katoomba region, offers three main attractions and a 2.4 km walkway for visitors to explore. The railway boasts the steepest descent in the world, while the aerial cable transport drops 545 meters into the gorge. With an exploration pass, visitors can spend a whole day navigating the National Park and seamlessly transition between attractions.
It is a lovely drive into the Blue Mountains and it is our first time visiting. Scenic World was a great experience for the different views you get from the 3 rides. You just get a different perspective of the many natural wonders that the Blue Mountains presents. We rode each of the rides multiple times as you seem to notice more things each time you ride. We didn't get anything to eat while there as we brought food along but the cafe and restaurant were both busy each time we passed. A nice touch is that there a few water stations scattered around where you can fill your water bottle for free which is great as you hike around. All up, we all enjoyed ourselves and had a great day out in nature with some absolutely stunning views. Can highly recommend.

Visiting first thing in the morning will help to tackle crowd. We had a good time with the cable car and thrilling experience with the steepest train ride . Prepare yourself for lot of walking. Cap, sunglass, sunscreen, water and comfortable footwear is advisable. Lot of viewpoints .. Family friendly trails.. esp kids love the latest addition of dinosaur valley. Very innovative and lot of effort to put animatronics in a forest . Souvenir shop has a lot of variety. Restrooms and Food court are available. Buses available to and from Katoomba station . Becomes crowded around noon.. lot of shops to eat and shop near Katoomba station

Outstanding day out! First of all, the staff are the nicest staff I've encountered, so welcoming from the moment you arrive. (Thank you Dominique for easing out little one into the excitement) The coffee from the Cafe was delicious. So much to see and explore, the dinosaur Valley was well worth the cost of a ticket. We drove from Queensland specifically for this and I would do it again and again! Absolutely loved and so did our dinosaur mad little one. One Day we will cherish.

Scenic World in the Blue Mountains is a fantastic place to visit. One can easily spend a day viewing the spectacular scenery and walking through the valley floor rainforest boardwalk. The funicular scenic railway was an amazing experience. It only travels for a short time, but it is very spectacular. Once in the valley, one has the opportunity to walk through a wonderful rainforest. The many sign boards explain not only the history of the location, but also features of the flora and fauna. During our recent visit, the Dinosaur Valley display was available. This was a real treat. The children present loved it. The mainly young staff were very friendly and helpful.

Scenic World is an amazing experience! The cableway, skyway, and railway all offer stunning views of the Blue Mountains. The air was cool and refreshing, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Everything was well organized, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Even though it was a bit cloudy, the view was still beautiful. Definitely worth a visit!

We visited Scenic World on a weekday and had such a lovely time. The cafe and gift shop were both great — I especially loved the gift shop and ended up buying a few dinosaurs. The walk through the Dinosaur Valley was wonderful — refreshing, with plenty of fresh air and lifelike dinosaur displays along the way. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience was beautiful and enjoyable for all age groups.

Amazing spot with great views. Well sorted and put together setup with friendly staff. Really enjoyed the afternoon here. Only ding on the star is I found the price steep, especially considering the scenic rail was down for maintenance.

Scenic World is an absolute must-visit! The world’s steepest railway is such a thrilling and unforgettable ride – an experience like no other. The Skyway, Cableway, and Walkway all offer incredible views of the Blue Mountains, making the whole place feel truly magical. Everything is well-organised, family-friendly, and gives you the perfect mix of adventure and breathtaking scenery. For uni students, they even offer discounts on tickets – so make sure to carry your student ID card. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Blue Mountains!

Katoomba Falls is a stunning multi-tiered waterfall located in the Blue Mountains, tumbling 150 meters into the Jamison Valley. The best way to experience it is by taking the 3-kilometer Katoomba Falls Round Walk, which starts at Scenic World carpark and offers views of the falls from various lookout points along the trail.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Katoomba Falls is absolutely worth the hike! It took us about 45 minutes from the Three Sisters, and the walk itself was beautiful. The falls are stunning — with crystal clear water and breathtaking views. A must-see spot in the Blue Mountains!

Been to this place couple of times and it's always been peaceful. Kids loves it however water was so cold. There is also a bench where you can sit and access is through stairs but there ain't many.

I visited Katoomba Falls on a bright, windy day, and it was truly a breathtaking experience. This stunning natural wonder is a must-see when exploring the Blue Mountains. From a distance, the cascading water sparkled in the sunlight, creating a mesmerizing view. As I followed the winding trail closer to the falls, I was captivated by the sheer power and beauty of the rushing water. I highly recommend wearing comfortable shoes to navigate the rocky paths and bringing a jacket, as the air can get quite brisk during cooler weather. It's important to stay on the designated trails to fully appreciate the environment and ensure safety. Katoomba Falls is not just a sight to behold; it’s an adventure that you won't want to miss!

Camped at the falls caravan park. It's good access to the falls the 3 Sisters lookout and Scenic World. It's a lovely walk and part is light up at night so you can do the walk in the dark

A beautiful spot. Took my lil family for a some nature time. Love the fact there's multiple ways and routes to this spot. You have the choice of cable car, Bus and for the fit hikers a 45 minute trek.

Walked from the Information centre to the Katoomba Cascades. Such a beautiful walk. Medium intensity walk. So worth the 20 or so minutes to get there. The walking track is paved well, stepping stones too. Very picturesque.

Beautiful waterfall with stunning views and peaceful walking tracks. A must-visit spot in the Blue Mountains!

Katoomba falls is located within the Blue Mountains National Park. You get to view the falls from Scenic Park Skyway and you can also take a walk via the walking trail from the Echo Point which can take upto 1.5 hrs including return. We took the Skyway and the view was excellent from the top giving a panoramic view. The Skyway driver gives a narrative about the falls as you pass through the gorge. The Skyway takes about 5 mins to cross one way. A must visit when you visit the Blue Mountains National Park.

Nestled in the heart of the Blue Mountains, Leura Cascades Picnic Area is a beloved destination that has charmed visitors for over a century. This serene spot offers an enchanting network of walking tracks leading to picturesque waterfalls and breathtaking cliff views. It's not just a picnic area; it's also the gateway to family-friendly bushwalking adventures that culminate at stunning lookout points.
An exhausting but worthwhile walk to the Falls. There are a lot of steps, some gently sloping, others steep, almost vertical. This is not a well-known sight with big bold sign posts. It's off to a discreet, fenced trail that's virtually hidden from the road. There is a patch of land for parking, enough for about 8-10 cars. But in order to get parking, you must come early. We were lucky to get a parking space, as by the time we returned (spent 2.5 hours in total to and back), cars were literally lined up at the side of the road where we parked and on the opposite side. There were others who wanted to park, but went back because there was no space to park. We met a hiker who was heading for the Falls as we were heading back to our car. We had left the Falls and was walking back for about 5-7 minutes when we met her. She was a little discouraged because she wasn't sure if she was ever going to get there. I told her it was only about 5 minutes away. And when I showed her the pictures I took, I could see her enthusiasm was renewed, and she was eager to get there.
Shally K — Google review
Located in the Blue Mountains National Park, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 (Not far from Katoomba) The Leura Cascades features some of the most stunning lush greenery and cascading waterfalls over the native species of mosses and sandstone. There’s quite a steps along the walkways so it’s not accessible for wheelchairs 🦼 or those with mobility issues. The steps can also be slippery. The views from the various lookouts offers some of the spectacular views. These walks include the Fern Bower Circuit Walk which takes you down to Bridal Veil Falls and you also have the Prince Henry Cliff Walk which takes you to Echo Point. The forest is very dense with an abundance of native plants, flowers and stunning waterfalls and there’s plenty of lookouts to appreciate the stunning views. The walk down to the falls takes approximately 30 minutes and is a steady descent. The final lookout is gorgeous. There’s picnic areas, children’s play equipment and toilet 🚻 facilities available. The parking 🅿️ is limited and can get full fast and it’s free. This is a beautiful spot and I look forward to returning. I would definitely recommend. A big Thumbs Up from me! 👍👍👍👍

Pathway along cascades is very good but picnic area is closed while being renovated. Limited, unofficial parking along Cliff Road.
Brad S — Google review
One of the best hiking tracks in the blue mountains. Not so many tourists and the waterfall is really nice from the bottom. I would highly recommend this track for relaxing and beautiful views.
Christian K — Google review
It's a fantastic day-long hiking track with some of the beautiful and less crowded lookout to the blue mountains scenaries. Bear in mind, though, it is quite a hard trail (steep, a fair few stairs etc) if you choose more difficult trails from different options getting around the walking tracks.
Khan C — Google review
What a lovely place to stop for a picnic lunch on our way back home from the Blue mountains. I only wish I'd had my better camera to take photos worthy of printing. I'll surely be back again to see if I can capture views of the cascade in different light and time of day.

This place feels so close to nature. The dense forest, the water falls, flowers and much more. There are picnic spots, kids swings and toilets for visitors.Parking is limited but can be found easily with a little walk from the main point. The walk downwards to various water falls is breath taking .Remember going down is easy and climbing back checks your strength. This is a must visit place if you are going to blue mountains. The main street of Leura is worthy to get some famous chocolates, soveniours and food.Enjoy and feel the nature !
Umer Z — Google review
It is a walk of 15-20 min down the hill all along the cascades. It has quite a few steps so please be mindful if you have difficulty in climbing steps. The views of the cascade all the way is really great and the final lookout is just beautiful. This final lookout is not visible but it is just a few metres if you keep going after the end of cascades.

Sublime Point Lookout is a picturesque spot in the Blue Mountains, offering panoramic views and a perfect setting for a relaxing picnic. It's home to various bird species like gang gangs and cockatoos. The lookout provides breathtaking sunset views over the Megalong Valley, with sights of Megalong Head, Boars Head Rock, and the Narrow Neck Peninsula. Unlike other crowded lookouts in the area, Sublime Point offers a quieter experience while still showcasing stunning vistas.
Great spot, easy walk , several vantage points. Parking could be more abundant & more economical. A decent toilet would be nice. Nice for a picnic and stunning photos !

This is a great place especially If you're looking for somewhere with a short and easy walk from the car park to a lookout and also is a nice spot to take your dogs, they're allowed on leash or to have some lunch on one of the several picnic tables. Only thing is now you have to pay for parking hence my 4 star rating!

Breathtaking mountain views! Sublime Point Lookout gives you a stunning perspective of the escarpment, with rolling ridges and valleys that feel endless. The lookout is well set up and a perfect spot to appreciate the beauty of the mountains in a peaceful setting. It’s best to get an Uber here, as parking can be tricky and you can relax without worrying about the drive. A must-visit for anyone who enjoys nature and scenery.

Did a wonderful bushwalk starting from Leura Station early in the morning, passing through Pool of Siloam, small waterfalls, and numerous lookouts like Golf Lookout along the way. The walk itself was a great workout for my legs, and reaching Sublime Point Lookout made it all worth it — the view from the cliff is simply stunning. Below the main lookout, there’s a trail that drops down further. I tried it myself for a bit of an adrenaline rush, and I noticed many rock climbers using ropes and assists on the path. It’s definitely not for beginners or the faint of heart, and I’d suggest you only attempt it if you’re an experienced adventurer. Nonetheless, this walk offers a rich blend of peace, physical challenge, and breathtaking perspectives — a must for nature lovers and those looking for a bit more excitement.

Echoes Restaurant & Bar in the Blue Mountains is a notable dining establishment that offers traditional favorites like Riverina lamb backstrap paired with local wines. The restaurant presents substantial, straightforward cuisine with Asian and European inflections, including seafood, roasted and slow-cooked meats. While their Yulefest menu may be more Yule in name than fact, the grass-fed Riverina lamb racks are perfection. Additionally, they offer a good selection of wines to complement the dining experience.
I'm so happy I went here. It was a last-minute decision, and they just happened to have a reservation available at 5.30 pm, during Autumn. It was magical. The food was divine. The chef has obviously done some serious training. The views were spectacular. And the service was very high end. I highly recommend it.

A breath taking view of blue mountain from the table. The seafood salad starter was great. The steak was well grilled and soft. The chocolate ice cream was very creamy. However, the food just a bit salty so if you don’t like salty taste, tell the waiter when you order food.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 I booked Echoes Restaurant & Bar for my girlfriend’s birthday and it truly exceeded every expectation. The moment you step in, you’re greeted with absolutely breathtaking views of the Blue Mountains — the kind of view that makes you just pause and take it all in. The food was wonderful, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. Every dish felt thoughtful and well-made. But what really made the experience special was the service. A special mention to Keely — our lovely waitress — who was genuinely warm, friendly, and attentive. She even took her time to help us capture photos together, and did it with patience and a smile. In my online booking, I had requested a small birthday surprise — a little dessert plate with my girlfriend’s name — and the team delivered it perfectly. It felt personal, thoughtful, and heartfelt. This entire experience made our day feel truly memorable. If you’re looking for somewhere to celebrate something special — or simply want to enjoy great food with a spectacular view — I highly recommend Echoes. We will definitely be back. 💛

We recently had dinner at Echoes restaurant and wow, what a dinner it was. The food was nothing short of exceptional. One of the if not the best dinners we have had. To put a comparison we ate at a very well known hatted restaurant the night before and we can honestly say that the dinner at Echoes was miles ahead. We were left speechless. Our only regret was we didn’t eat at Echoes both nights. The dinner paired with the service and ambience was absolutely exceptional and one we will remember.

The Lookout Echo Point is a charming shopping center that offers a variety of dining options, from casual cafes to upscale restaurants, all with stunning views of the Blue Mountains and Jamison Valley. The venue features three distinct dining concepts: the Milkbar for quick bites, Restaurant 1128 for fine dining with panoramic views, and BAR NSW known for its New South Wales sourced wine and beverages.
Stopping for lunch at Echo Point was a treat in itself. I ordered the beef brisket, which was tender, flavorful, and absolutely satisfying. My friends enjoyed their fish and chips—crispy and not overly moist—while the chicken thigh fillet was also tasty. A nice bonus is the complimentary coffee and tea, perfect for warming up on a chilly day. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side; rain and heavy haze completely hid the stunning views, including the iconic Three Sisters, but it still made for a cozy and memorable stop.

Pros - Lunch with a view. Not very crowded as it was a weekday. Have a few vegan & veg options. Food ok. Cons - expensive, staff very casual, food took a while to arrive. No ketchup or sauce was served. There was no salt or pepper. The tables were dirty. The person who took our order told us to take the cutlery with us. Next time we go Echo point will look for other options😎

Had the Sunday Roast and Southern Fried Steak. The latter was an abomination of pub cuisine, depressing to say the least, and hopefully not as depressed as the one who made it. Salty to the max with dry meat and even drier and stale chips. Our arvo was saved by the Sunday Roast - which ironically does not get a roast. Gorgeously cooked and nicely seasoned veggies, with a well cooked, crispy pork belly, all brought together with the gravy and perfectly sweetened apple sauce. Great atmosphere as our chews were drowned out by the softly singing guitar playing man in the corner. Not to mention the views! Blue mountains never disappoints.

$64.95 for this crap, food was extremely overpriced, oily, greasy and chips was cold. Customer service is bad, they just left food on the table, no napkins no appliances. It was not busy for a windy and cold day still took 45 minutes to cook this ? Really ? Stop ripping people.

Visited Echo Point on a quiet Monday super easy to get to with loads of parking available. I imagine it might be busier on weekends. Views are stunning, but just a tip: it gets pretty cold in August, so rug up! The sisters looked majestic!

Service is not happy. Dissatisfied & disappointed. The water glasses were not cleaned properly. Chicken schnitzel & southern fried steak were over cooked & cold. Cheese even didn't melt until finish the meal. Potato chips were cold too. Even cheese is not melting because the food is cold. Christmas day they charged 15% extra for not worth 3 plates. Sliced cucumber were not fresh. And 4-5 slices only. It even took 30 mins. to came the COLD food to the table. The dishes are not worth the price as I know. Chicken schnitzel was $31 Southern Fried Steak $32 'Shroom Ragu $30 Not recommended for anyone for sure.

The service should be better. Not helpful girl at the bar. Dont even care about customer.Today, 1st of october 2025 afternoon at 5pm i went to order food. You are the only one who is open in the area for food , people are going here as only option expecting good service mate when paying extra for your food. If you dont want to provide good service please leave it for others to take over. There are a lot of people in the market who wants to serve people for full day and do business here. Not at all good service. Its been few times i have been here.

Might have been a great evening party place 10 years ago, it has all the outdoor bar, decks and seating, but it was a bit unloved when I was there late Sept 25. It is surprisingly underwhelming when coming from Scenic World, which looks polished and is turning over at a great pace just before the school holidays.

Restaurant
Nestled within the luxurious Lilianfels Katoomba, Darleys Restaurant is a top-notch dining destination in the Blue Mountains. The restaurant exudes an old-world charm with its historic setting in Sir Frederick Darley's 100-year-old homestead, featuring elegant decor like crystal chandeliers and stained-glass windows. Renowned for its fine dining experience, Darleys offers a candlelit ambiance overlooking the beautiful gardens and rocky outcrop.
A gem restaurant in The Blue Mountains. We experienced outstanding food and service and great advice with wine selection. A memorable, romantic dinner!!
Marjorie N — Google review
My husband and I recently had dinner at Darley’s. While the ambience and service were lovely, the food unfortunately didn’t quite live up to the high expectations, especially given the overall cost. It’s a little surprising that this is a "hatted" restaurant. At $145 per person, you’re offered three courses from their "Ode to Autumn" menu. My husband chose the scallop ravioli, dry-aged steak, and carrot pudding, while I opted for the quail, lamb, and chocolate cake. The entrees were a little underwhelming. The quail was noticeably underseasoned (another review mentioned this), and the construction of the scallop ravioli was a little puzzling. It featured ossietra caviar — a premium ingredient — but it was placed directly onto a hot scallop ravioli with consommé, which unfortunately made the caviar warm and soft, losing its usual flavour and texture. It felt like a missed opportunity to let such a luxury ingredient shine. To add to that, the scallop inside the ravioli was sadly overcooked and a bit stringy. Thankfully, the mains were a highlight. The steak was beautifully cooked, full of flavour, and the lamb was delicious — even though it was well done, it remained juicy and tender. The dessert, however, left my husband a little confused. The carrot pudding felt more like a warm shredded carrot salad than a traditional baked pudding. The texture was uneven, somewhere between crunchy and soft, and wasn’t quite what he was expecting. To add to the slight mix-up, he also received the orange snaps that were meant to be part of my dessert — perhaps a small oversight on the night. I'm normally not this critical, but given the price point and having experienced other restaurants in a similar range, I do feel there’s some room for refinement, particularly with the menu design and execution. At this stage, I wouldn’t be rushing back, but if there were a refresh of the menu down the track, I’d be open to giving Darley’s another try.
Aiko C — Google review
Posh elegant restaurant with warm staff and service. Unfortunately, the food were not up to mark. Too heavy handed on the salt for the entree and appetizer. The pan -fried Murray cod was fresh and well charred except for the overwhelming salt on the sauce and too rich for our taste buds. The scallop was not fresh as we expected but on the whole it's Ok. Our highlight is the main with the Black onyx Angus beef; perfect timing on the inside and well burnt on the outside. Great pairing for our red. Our greatest disappointment is the new introduced dessert, the fresh pineapple with sorbet & passion fruit was overly sweet that it doesn't balance with the blending to enhance the flavors. It's a nice restaurant but not perfect.

Booked to stay at the sister property echoes, we requested to have dinner at Darley’s restaurant one of the nights and we are so glad we did. The food was amazing! Specially the lemon meringue tart at the end was a perfect finish. The service was lovely also. We will defiantly be coming back!

This was our 3rd dinner at Darleys. The 1st one some years ago was out of this world. The second, 2 years ago was poor. The food was disappointing as was the portions. Everyone misses the mark so 3rd time lucky we thought! Not. Dinner on the 18th of July was worse than 2 years ago. Entree was two of the tiniest scallops. Our mains were pathetic. We were after quality not quantity but we got neither. The deserts were consistent with the entree and main and missed the mark all together. For the price they charge you are much better off eating at Echoes restaurant. There food, service and ambiance is out of this world. Price wise is was roughly the same but I paid there bill with a sense of satisfaction and ease knowing we had an outstanding meal and experience. The same cannot be said for our experience at Darleys. So so disappointing

Fine dining restaurant at Lilianfels. Attentive service, well executed and technical dishes that came out at a comfortable pace. Serving sizes are what you would expect of this style of dining and we were happy with the "additional" courses that fitted around the "3 course menu" option. One disconcerting moment was being advised the sides were an additional charge when there is no mention of this in the menu. The wine selection is appropriate and reasonably priced again taking into account this level of dining. Overall a pleasant dinner service matching the rest of the well appointed stay at Lilianfels.

Bakery
The Bakehouse on Wentworth in Sydney offers fantastic Australian pies and sweet treats that are perfect for hikers and adventurers. The pies are always fresh, with great pastry and filling, and the quality is consistent. I recommend trying them out!
Bakehouse on Wentworth is a pie lover’s dream! The potato pie is absolutely amazing – buttery, flaky pastry with a hearty, comforting filling. The tandoori chicken pie is next level – packed with flavour, just the right amount of spice, and so satisfying. Everything tastes fresh and made with real care. Great service, lovely atmosphere, and consistently high-quality food. Easily one of the best bakeries around Leura. Can’t wait to come back for more!

I tried it because it came highly recommended by guide but mainly I never had kangaroo pie before. Place is crowded at time of visit with long queue but moved reasonably. Bought 4 pies about US$24, not cheap. Kangaroo pie tasted good. Big chunks meat, not gamey. Crust was nice, soggy in the bottom with all the gravy.

Lots of tourists but the staff managed well with the influx. I had the rosemary, garlic and lamb- really lovely. The raspberry/hazelnut and custard scroll was so delicious! Real custard with vanilla bean specks! Decent amount of seating considering the size of the place.

Got this early in the morning and they are cold and no flake in the pastries. I believe bakehouses normally bake fresh products early morning but they are not even warm and doesn’t taste fresh. Looks like they handed us old stock. Very disappointed, not even going to finish it. Can’t warm it as we are in hotel.

I got there jut in time to nab the last beef pie, and boy I was not disappointed! You may think the pastry is a little too much, but it is holding the structure together, as the inside is full of beef and yummy goodness! I will be definitely back again! Lots of room to sit and enjoy. + Free tomato sauce.

Evans Lookout is a picturesque spot near Blackheath in the Blue Mountains, offering breathtaking views of mountains and cliffs. It's easily accessible with nearby parking, making it a convenient stop for travelers. The exposed orange cliffs create stunning light effects during sunrise and sunset. This lookout serves as the starting point for serious hikes and is located at the beginning of the popular Grand Canyon Track. The expansive view from Evans Lookout encompasses Grose Valley, Govetts Creek, and towering sandstone cliffs.
Parking is next to the start of the walk to the lookout. Toilets are also here and were clean. The walk to the lookout is paved and wheelchair friendly. Some of the pathways have rails, and there are also 2 spaces to sit along the walk. It's about a 5 minute walk to the viewing area, which has more seating. Lovely view and well worth the visit.

Visited Evans Lookout for the first time on a rainy day, and it turned out to be a truly peaceful and memorable experience. The soft rain and mist made the whole valley look mystical and serene—nature in its purest form. It was quiet, calm, and perfect for slowing down and just taking in the beauty around. The views over the Grose Valley are absolutely stunning, even in overcast weather. The walking tracks are well-maintained, clearly marked, and safe, making it a great place for both casual walkers and more serious hikers. A wonderful spot to enjoy nature, take photos, or just breathe in the fresh mountain air. Highly recommend, whether it's sunny or raining!

Beautiful lookout and the start of The Grand Canyon walk. My favourite of all the walks we did in The Blue Mountains NP. Lots of stairs and a good level of fitness recommended. Go clockwise if you want a gentler climb out of the canyon or anticlockwise if your knees don't like going down steep steps. 10/10. 😁

Evans Lookout offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Grose Valley, with visitors praising its stunning cliff-top vistas and serene atmosphere, though the area can get busy. It serves as a popular starting point for challenging valley hikes, including the famous Grand Canyon walk, which is known for its numerous steps and changing scenery. The lookout is easily accessible from Blackheath, with a short, well-maintained path from a small car park leading to the primary viewing platform.

I visited this place on a sunny afternoon, just as the sunlight reached halfway down the valley. The air was cool and refreshing, and the trees were lush and green. There were long walking trails perfect for exploring, and plenty of parking spaces available. Many people had come to enjoy the breathtaking views. I spent an entire day in the Blue Mountains, and it was absolutely worth it — one of the best days I’ve had.

Evans Lookout is one of the most stunning viewpoints in the Blue Mountains. The lookout gives a breathtaking, panoramic view over the Grose Valley, with endless cliffs, dense forest, and shifting light that makes every visit unique. It’s easy to access, with a short walk from the car park, and there are well-marked walking tracks nearby for those who want to explore deeper. Sunrise and sunset are especially magical here, as the valley glows with rich colors. A must-visit spot for anyone who loves nature, photography, or just wants a quiet place to take in the beauty of the mountains.

Located in the charming Art Deco area of Blackheath, Anonymous Bar and Cafe is a must-visit spot on your way to attractions like the Botanic Gardens and Jenolan Caves. The cafe offers meticulously crafted coffee by attentive baristas, along with a menu featuring seasonal local delicacies and delectable sweet treats. It's also recommended for its cozy ambiance and brekkie bar where you can enjoy dishes like the popular breakfast burrito.
It was very busy when we went there over the Christmas period but the service was still friendly and the brioche French Toast was delectable. It was served with a poached pear, candied orange, roasted almonds and fog syrup. The coffee was okay- I had a soy latte with slightly lumpy soy milk but my friend who ordered normal (diary) milk didn’t have the same “lumpiness” problem. All in all a great experience.

Known for their well-made Campos coffee, Anonymous is a little Blackheath café that began back in 2012. In 2016, the team expanded to a second venue, Synonymous, located in nearby Medlow Bath just a short walk from the famous Hydro Majestic Hotel. With an emphasis on using locally grown, seasonal produce, and making their own bread, pickles and relishes, both venues represent good spots to break a journey across the Blue Mountains if you like eating honest, tasty food. The interior at Anonymous is modest and functional. Shelves constructed with repurposed wood are lined with colourful pickle jars, illustrating their make-everything-in-house ethos. The items inside these jars are put to excellent effect on the Anonymous Mixed Plate ($20), which comes with three different condiments – a beetroot relish, a fig condiment that's perfect for cheese, and a lovely mixed curry pickle that’s sour and compelling. Consume them with three different meats – thick slices of house-corned beef, a whirl of prosciutto and carved leg ham. You'll also find three cheeses - a farmhouse Cheddar, a creamy, tangy blue cheese and a slightly less exciting brie. The plate is rounded out by a beetroot-cured boiled egg, springy mixed leaves, lightly pickled julienned carrot, a mound of pickled cucumber slices, and lightly toasted, buttered fig and caraway soda bread. It’s a wonderful lunch grazing plate that showcases great produce for a reasonable price, with more food on it than I could eat. Using the same palate of ingredients – the key to a successful, small café menu – the Reuben Toastie ($18.50) takes the slow-cooked corned beef, creamy American cheddar and pickles, and teams them with cabbage ‘slaw and Dijon mustard. The well-balanced mix is sandwiched between thick slices of toasted organic sourdough, and presented with more of those nicely dressed, springy mixed leaves. The serve is generous, and the price reflects the time and labour that goes into making so many of the ingredients in-house. We washed our meal down with Bulla Booch Kombucha ($5.50) flavoured with black tea and a hint of mango. It’s locally fermented in Bullburra, in small batches to ensure each (fully recyclable) bottle is perfect. The simple, old-fashioned frothy Vanilla Milkshake ($6.50) also proved a winner - both are great ways to refresh and refuel before hitting the road ahead.

A really nice cosy bar. The owner is a delight, readily available for a chat, to explain what the produce is, where it comes from etc. The food is plentiful, fresh, tasty and absolute top notch. Highly recommended and will certainly be back. Do try the charcuterie board. Well worth it.

Absolutely deserves the high rating this place has. My mother and me had a fantastic lunch here. I had the beetroot burger and my mom had the special. Both fantastic. Would absolutely recommend when someone is traveling through blue mountains or staying in the area.

This is a cosy small bar with a wonderful selection of natural wines from PnV wine merchants, beer from Mountain Culture Beer Co and mocktails. Take a seat by the window for some people watching, or maybe sit at the back to admire the liquor selection and wall of portraits. Pared back interiors and a selection of food that I hope to try on my next visit. Staff are friendly and happy to advise. If you're after a tipple before or after dinner, or looking to catch up over a drink, this is it. Support your local! Cheers!

Bakery
Bakehouse on Wentworth is a popular bakery in Leura, Australia, known for its organic sourdough loaves and gourmet pies. The bakery also offers a variety of sweet treats and handcrafted chocolates. While there is limited seating available, it's a great spot to grab picnic essentials to enjoy at nearby waterfalls, parks, and lookouts. Visitors can indulge in delicious pies such as Chicken and Leek or Rosemary Lamb while also enjoying sausage rolls.
There's loads of great pie places in Sydney, but man - this is special. I think what makes this a clear cut above the rest is the pastry. The fact that sides were flakey and the bottom was still a bit crispy had me dumbstruck. And then you see that they have a local business award and it all makes sense. They have most definitely earned their award and there really isn't much more to say other than to give it a try yourself. My recommendation? The beef, cheese, and bacon pie. I had to go back for seconds!

I’ve always wanted to try this place every time I’m in the Blue Mountains region. Luckily, during my last visit, I finally managed to stop by the Blackheath location, and I was not disappointed. The croissants were crusty, flaky, and held their shape perfectly.

The pastries are delicious! Layers were perfect, and meat was well seasoned. The pain au chocolat - approved by a french. The prices were okay, very affordable. Definitely worth a visit

The prices were definitely on the higher side, but overall the food was quite enjoyable. The almond croissant and muffins, while slightly stale in texture, still had a lovely flavour and were surprisingly tasty despite that. You can tell the ingredients are of good quality, and the presentation was also appealing. It’s a nice spot for a treat, though the freshness could have been a bit better given the premium pricing.

Literally found a hair embedded in the pastry in the pie. Absolutely disgusting like literally I'm about to vomit Plus, they cost $11 because of the Sunday fee which is just ridiculous and the chick who served me didn't want to do a split payment or touch the money even though it was two dollars off because I didn't know they had a fee they add on on Sunday absolutely rude service she was quite up herself and on top of that it was $22 and I found a hair embedded in the pastry. That's absolutely disgusting and ridiculous and do not eat here. I feel extremely sick from eating the pies as well and I tried to contact them and call them and they are not answering to make a complaint because it's ridiculous. The prices Plus, there was a hair in my food and the pies do not taste nice. I taste quite water down the mixture of the meat and it doesn't taste good at all taste off.

Very busy and super difficult to find parking. 15% surcharge on a Sunday. 10% seniors discount not available on Sunday. $10.50 for a large white loaf. It was supposed to be sourdough but nothing sour about it. Very heavy and dense. Honestly, nothing to get excited about. Won't be back.

We love our local! They have such a good range - I’m a vego and they’ve got THREE different veggie pie options plus a spinach and ricotta roll. BUT my favourite by far is their savoury danish - the combination of bechamel sauce, cherry tomatoes and soft flaky pastry is bliss! It’s sorta a sweet/savoury combination and I definitely recommend trying it! Very good barista at the moment - good coffee, and made my hot chocolate extra chocolate-y as requested :) You do need to expect to pay $9+ for a pie - but they aren’t like a standard pie shop. One pie is going to leave you feeling satisfied! They are bigger and much more hearty (so much filling) - so, you pay for what you get - it’s more like a meal :) especially with the range of options you can get - pastry is just the vessel for the creative fillings they have!

Located in Leura Mall, The Bunker is a family-friendly restaurant that offers a dedicated kids menu and activities to keep young minds engaged. From breakfast to dinner, this eatery serves up cafe classics and cocktails in a relaxed atmosphere. With lovely mountain views, it's an ideal spot for a family lunch or special event in the Blue Mountains. Whether you're looking for a quick snack or a leisurely meal, The Bunker provides delicious food and great service.
During our tour of the Blue Mountains, we had lunch at The Bunker, a lovely restaurant with a nice atmosphere and a beautiful garden. The food was delicious—we tried the chicken schnitzel and pan-fried barramundi, both of which were fresh and tasty. The food arrived quickly, and the service was great. The restaurant was clean, including the toilets. If you visit during spring, you can also enjoy the cherry blossoms along the road just below the restaurant. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience!

We accidentally booked the wrong date and didn’t realize until we got there, but they accommodated us and found us a spot. There’s colouring activities for the kids which was nice, and blankets provided for when it’s windy or cold on the verandah. There’s also heaters around on the chilly days. Food was great, the ribs soft and tender and the kids loved the cheesy garlic bread. The outdoor tables were not open as it was too windy outside.

This is a beautiful place. From the warm welcome on arrival to the outdoor setting it's stunning. The views form the outdoor patio are gorgeous and all of the staff members are consistently kind and friendly. The menu is great with so many options for different allergens. I had the lamb ribs and chips and my eyeballs nearly popped out of my head when I saw the size of the portion of chips it could feed an army. The lamb was beautifully done and so so tasty. I can tell they put a lot of effort and care into everything they do from the food prep to the way they take your order, help you with the menu and serve your food with a genuine smile. I was very comfortable here thank you so much! I hope to be back for lunch to try the chicken schnitzel I've read such great reviews about! I'm back to update my review because I've had the chicken schnitzel now and so stuffed and so happy! This is my new happy place. The staff were delightful again and made sure I got in before catering for an event. The portion was massive which was great as I was starving for some meat after leaving a vegan retreat 😅 I can't speak highly enough about this place and the happiness of the staff is just so lovely to experience. The views are gorgeous and I could see the Blue Mountains from where I was sitting. Full on 5 stars for this place for the consistency of quality service and food!

It was Saturday afternoon, I ask my lovely friend Robin to meet me at The Bunker for lunch . It was fully packed, but we waited maybe 15 min to be seated. It’s probably the best to book the table on the weekend. The weather was lovely and the customer service very friendly . I ask for a wrap and sweet potato chips. It was really tasty and fresh. My husband had a poker bowl and he liked it too. Was a bit different than the usual one . I attached photos of our food. We had a very nice afternoon filled with laughter and humour. The Bunker itself is a very old building full of history and beauty itself with a great view of the blue mountains 👍😊

We came in for a late afternoon snack and a drink at the bar after. We had a few interactions with a lovely lady who seemed to be a manger. She was so warm and friendly and it seems she truly enjoys ensuring that the customers experience is the best it can be. The sweet potato fries were great, huge portion so great for sharing and The Sailor Jerry and Tiramisu Espresso cocktails were flavourful and of high quality. The only downside was the ladies bathroom which was overflowing with paper towels and needing toilet paper replenished. Would still return for a proper meal here one day as the food looked great.

Nestled on Leura's main street, Red Door Cafe is a beloved spot known for its emphasis on healthy dining. The cafe offers organic coffees, freshly squeezed juices, and a menu featuring zucchini and feta fritters with cumin yogurt, smoked rainbow trout with rocket and lentil salad, topped with a poached egg. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it an inviting place to enjoy everything from light breakfasts to hearty meals.
Delicious food, and menu has a great variety made with fresh produce. The chicken and leek pie was tasty and comforting to eat. Mash was a little dry but great they served with a side salad. Would come again.

Cosy little place on the main street of Leura Village. The initial visuals bely what waits inside. Food is excellent, with a wide selection, and great serving sizes. Lots of seating, but as it's very popular, bookings would be a wise idea. Great atmosphere, with good background music, and a buzzy vibe from the staff and kitchen. Parking nearby is also difficult, but the walk is worthwhile.

Place is easy to find, difficult to get parking. Booking recommended. The cafe is small with lots of seating inside which makes it feel very crowded. The outside part looked much nicer and inviting. Menu was small but had lots of variety. Staff were friendly but not overly welcoming. Food was average, prices were decent considering the quality. Drinks were nice and came out within 10 mintues of ordering. Would recommend

Love going to cafes like this. bustling. busy. a bit noisy from all the chatter. a bit of clang from the kitchen. a very satisfying atmosphere. especially on a weekend away from home. food was pretty good for the pace at which everything came out. (not a complaint at all). only thing for me. there was tonnes. of chili on the avocado toast. and I'm really picking at scabs here. but would have prefered on side. but the hommus was all-time. the omelete looked good. (side note. saw the porridge. and never thought I would have food envy from porridge. but here we are). coffee on par. thanks for having us Red Door.

Had a fantastic experience at Red Door Café! The food was amazing, coffee spot on, and the service was superb. Huge shoutout to Fiona not sure how she managed to look after everyone all on her own, but she was so attentive and welcoming. Honestly, it was amazing to see. I had my eye on the sticky date pudding, but it felt a little too early in the morning for all that sugar 😉. Can’t wait to come back and try it next time!

It has been many years since I last visited this shop. Being back here was very nostalgic for me and truly a walk down memory lane. Worth a visit when visiting Leura. The shop was well stocked and had some extras I was not expecting like imported soft drinks, cereals and hot sauces in addition to the wide variety of lollies + some chocolates. The shop was quite crowded and required a bit of manoeuvring when i went in + when walking around the shop. Really happy to have managed to capture some shots of the displays while mostly avoiding capturing the other patrons of the shop.

Located at Shop 6/178 Leura Mall, Leura, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 This was a candy lover’s dream. There was every kind of candy and chocolate that you could imagine. All packed in shelves that line the walls. You could spend hours studying all the different types of confectionery on offer. The isles were quite narrow and if it was a busy day, it could be quite difficult to manoeuvre your way around. Mainly it’s large containers of the candy and if you wanted any, there’s small packages of that particular kind at the back of the container. For the containers on the higher shelves, it can be difficult to reach the packages. Especially for a short person like me. Each package is around $4.00 to $4.50 each. Besides this, there’s a huge selection of alternative items in their original packaging. The staff were basically standing behind the counter and were reluctant to help with particular items when I asked if it meant moving from the counter. Not really welcoming or helpful. I am glad we came but the staff could use some customer service training. Besides this, I would recommend a visit. Thumbs up! 👍👍

I visited the store today and was really disappointed — especially considering it’s always been a highlight for me over the years. Unfortunately, a lot of the lollies / chocolates looked old and stale, which was surprising and disheartening. I ended up making a purchase anyway, hoping for the best, but they were indeed stale. It’s such a shame to see the quality drop like this. I hope they can turn things around, because this used to be a great spot.
Andy S — Google review
I was really disappointed with my recent visit. A lot of the candy looked old, discoloured, and stale—definitely not as fresh as it should be. There also wasn’t nearly as much stock as there used to be. It used to be a fun place to visit, but now it feels like it’s gone downhill. Won’t be rushing back.
Paul D — Google review
Despite the rating, I truly love The Candy Store, coming in almost daily and grabbing a snack or drink not sold anywhere else just to try something new. I'm always greeted by a wonderful red haired staff member who's always happy to strike up a chat, and knows everything about the store to locations and how much something costs. Where this review takes action is the behaviour and professionalism of this stores "boss". From both my own experiences and those shared by others, such as yelling and swearing at his staff in front of customers as well at the customer themselves in rare occasions, it shocks me how someone in this position can lack professionalism and how disrespectfully he treats those who buy from or work in his store.

A classic Blue Mountain pit stop! No trip up the hill would be complete without making a stop at the Leura Lolly Shop. Not only does this shop have a plethora of old fashioned lollies to choose from, but it also has a wide range of international favourites. You are guaranteed to find something you will love at the Leura Lolly Shop.

If you're in the area, add this to your list of confectionery store to visit. Nostalgic old and new confectionery from around the world, I'm sure you will find something that will bring you back to your childhood. Huge variety to choose from, most are reasonable priced (with some stuff on sale). If you're bringing kids you might have to set a budget otherwise 💸💸💸

Bygone Beautys Treasured Teapot Museum & Tearooms is a unique cultural experience located in Leura, offering a fascinating collection of over 5,500 rare and classic teapots from around the world. Visitors can explore the museum and then enjoy delicious Devonshire tea in the tearooms. The museum also features a gift shop for souvenirs.
An intriguing collection of such a wide variety of teapots, as well as fine china displayed throughout the different rooms make this a unique experience. The High Tea was both delicious and freshly made on the premises. No need to ask for a top up of tea as each person's is served in a large silver tea pot. Our High Tea was served in nice quiet room filled with pots and porcelain and allowed us not only a space to enjoy our fine fare, but also to have a quiet conversation. The service was excellent with the staff keen to answer any of your questions. The museum was very interesting too. Off-Street parking is also available here. Highly recommended.

Stopped for tea and scones during the busy Leura festival. It was an interesting place with so many teapots, scones were good, but best thing about it was the wonderful service. All staff were lovely, in particular young man Jason. Thoughtful, accommodating and kind. Nothing too much trouble either for us or others. Place is lucky to have staff like that.
Naomi D — Google review
A local friend was keen to take us (two English tourists) for the Devonshire cream tea after a trip to the Blue Mountain lookouts so we dropped in on a quiet Monday afternoon. The set up is quirky and unashamedly old fashioned. They are going full on for the traditional look and we really felt we had stepped back in time. There are tea pots everywhere- I couldn’t begin to guess how many and we played a quick game of pick one that suits each other. The service from Zac was great- he told us it was his second day and he was a little nervous but absolutely charming and full of smiles. The house tea blend was excellent and we enjoyed the sandwiches and cream tea. All in an unusual but very enjoyable stop off.
Daniel B — Google review
It’s so cute and whimsical inside. Come here for the museum not the food. Tea was good but $6 per small teapot. Food was extremely disappointing. I ordered the soup of the day and was surprised when they gave me different options. Which gave me the inkling that their “soup of the day” isn’t fresh. My husband ordered a sandwich very small serving and lacking in flavor. Looks like there’s no love given to the food. Service was very slow, there were plenty of empty seats but we had to wait 15-30 minutes to get our order taken. We were patient and happy to wait, but the food quality was such a disappointment.

Loved loved loved the scones! The tea wasn’t fantastic BUT the scones made up for it! Edit: we ordered the house tea and scone set. it might have just been one of those days, I would still truly recommend and would definetely revisit again and again

We visited your tearoom, which is presented as a tea museum, expecting a pleasant and quality experience. Unfortunately, our visit was very disappointing. When we asked to be seated outside, we were told there were no available tables, even though all the outdoor tables were visibly empty. Later, when we tried to order food, the menu stated that the kitchen closes at 4:00 pm, but at 3:40 pm we were told that no more kitchen orders were allowed. We ordered a chai tea expecting loose leaf tea, but it was served as a poor-quality powdered mix. When we politely asked to change it, our request was refused, and the staff even checked the invoice to charge us extra for the replacement — despite the drink not being as described or up to standard. This experience was very disappointing considering the reputation and concept of the place. We hope you take this feedback seriously to improve service consistency, product quality, and customer experience.

Came with my partner today and had the most incredible service. I was served by kyah or kya and she made our trip memorable. The food was flavourful and worth the price and the hot chocolate she made was one of the best. We had a great conversation and were recommended some beautiful lookouts and took great care of us. The whole experience was wonderful and will definitely recommend this place to my friends. P.S the collection was just spectacular!!!!

I have visited Leura many times, usually sticking to the main street. Today, we decided to take a different road and stumbled upon this lovely cozy little treasure. We immediately fell in love, spending roughly around two hours walking around and chatting with the charming Jason. He alone was the highlight of my entire day, such a sweetheart, and it was amazing listening to him talk to other customers about the antiques. He knows his stuff! I will definitely be going back!

Chocolate shop
Nestled in the heart of Leura, Josophan's Fine Chocolates is a delightful family-run boutique that embodies the essence of this charming town. Founded by Jody, a true chocolate aficionado, this shop is not just about indulgence; it’s an experience for all chocolate lovers. As you step inside, you'll be greeted by stunning solid chocolate trees and exquisite bodice art that adorns the space.
Great customer service. The food is high quality. Obviously as a fine chocolate shop they are generally at a higher price point but there are quite a number of items available at a lower price range which is great. There are so many different things throughout the store, so there's even options for those who aren't chocolate lovers.

Very pretty and delightful artisan chocolate store in Leura. We got a selection of chocolates and loved the hazelnut. Expensive but what you’d expect from handmade chocolate delights. Beautiful gift items if you’re bringing something home.

Visiting the Blue Mountains without stopping by Josophan’s Fine Chocolate would be a real miss. On a freezing cold day, we felt invigorated by their high-quality Belgian hot chocolate. It was just what we needed to warm up and boost our energy. Walking around the store, we were impressed by the large selection and beautiful variety of chocolate products. They offer all kinds of chocolate, from white to dark to ruby, catering to every preference. Although I’m not usually a fan of chocolate, this place is an exception that I just had to try. My favourite is the custom handmade chocolates—they are so unique and beautifully crafted. The prices are incredibly reasonable. Eight years ago, a piece was $2.50 (if my memory serves me right), and now it’s only $2.60. It’s incredible that despite the cost-of-living crisis, they still maintain their quality without overcharging customers.

Read a number of good reviews for this place and thought of giving it a go. The shop is beautifully organised and they have a good selection of chocolate varieties available. The range of truffles attracted me that day. Staff was very patient in describing the various chocolate truffles they had. And it wss nice knowing that they tried to cater to different dietary needs like lactose free options. Would be interesting to see if they are able to extend to potential alternate sugar options as well. Tried 3 different types of chocolate truffles and enjoyed them. Had the mayan chilli, cafe noir, and orange truffle. They were very smooth and represented good distinct flavours. They were a bit on the sweeter side for me. Nevertheless, it is still enjoyable but in smaller amounts. They accept cash & card. They also have a section for drinks for takeaway and next to the main shop, the ice cream shop.

I'm big fan of this shop I love Sundae menus here But I'm very happy to pay extra if I can change to chocolate flavor instead of vanilla.l but they always say "No" 🥹🥹 You can up-sell and not too hard, mate

Friendly staff had heaps of chocolate and turkish delight even. The smell of the chocolate inside smells so good. The ice cream shop was packed with people. Didn't get any but looked nice and heaps of people seem to be enjoying it. I ended up getting turkish delight and rocky road can't wait to try it. Hope it's just as good as it smells.

Pizza Sublime in Leura Mall is a popular destination for pizza enthusiasts and locals alike. With a variety of toppings to choose from and the option to order by the slice, half board, or full board, this pizzeria offers Roman-style pizzas with a delectable crust that is crispy, chewy, and perfectly charred. The pizzas are generously topped with delicious ingredients that create an artistic presentation when served.
I ordered a classic pepperoni pizza just to try it out. The crust was good and the toppings were properly seasoned. I would definitely come back if it weren't for the fact that I was only there for a day trip!

Better than expected- crispy at the bottom and salami pizza was yummy. square shaped small pizza slice was $8-$12 each… location location. Right next to the popular chocolate shop and I have never visited here before. Small shop with some booth table inside and table and stools outside. Nice little American diner vibe.

Super tasty pizza. I arrived at 3pm, it was not the popular hours with limited choices of pizza. The pizza is crispy and tastes very good. I ordered a slice of Potato Anchovy. I have never tasted Anchovy (salted fish) before. It tastes so good. I rated 9/10. Price: a slice of piazza ranges from AUD9-AuD13. The price is reasonable cheap. It is flexible to order one slice of pizza at AUD9, perfect for 1 person.

After a challenging hike through the scenic trails near Leura Falls, we stopped by Pizza Sublime on a crisp, sunny winter Saturday - and it turned out to be the perfect reward. The Roman-style pizzas, served by the board, were delightfully light yet satisfyingly crisp, making them easy to enjoy without feeling too heavy. We tried a variety: the Salami with black olives and basil had the right balance of spice and richness, while the Pumpkin option surprised us with its sweetness from caramelised onions and vibrant squash. The Capricciosa, loaded with ham, artichokes, and mushrooms, was a standout. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The outdoor seating area basked in gentle sunshine, making the experience feel like a relaxed Italian afternoon in the Blue Mountains. Friendly staff and prompt service added to the charm. Pizza Sublime is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic, high-quality pizza in a relaxed, scenic setting. 38$ for a half board or 38$ for a variety of 4 slices. Interiors are a bit dated and need some work and also the overall hygiene of the place.

Located at 128 Leura Mall in Leura, Mr Collins of Leura is a restaurant that not only embraces the rich history of its surroundings but also draws inspiration from various dining experiences in Melbourne, Sydney, England, and the Blue Mountains. This fine dining establishment offers brasserie-style cuisine and operates for lunch and dinner from Thursday to Monday. Its tasteful interior design effortlessly combines elements of modern classical style, creating an inviting ambience.
My wife and I had lunch here yesterday after walking along the Leura Mall on a cold wintry day. We saw the restaurant and decided to try it. The waiter was welcoming, and the food was excellent. We shared the scallops for entree, then for mains had the confit duck and the beef cheeks, alongside a rocket salad. The quality was amazing - while all items ordered were excellent the standout to me were the scallops. There was a good wine and cocktail list, and a short beer list. We really enjoyed our lunch at Mr Collins and wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Leura and looking for a fine-dining style restaurant. For the quality, the prices were very reasonable. Another good aspect was there was no surcharge for paying by credit card or for dining on the weekend.
Matt L — Google review
We visited Mr. Collins today during our stay at Fairmont. Great ambience and overall presentation. We were greeted by an amazing man and a lady. Charlie Chaplin Cocktail was a great starter drink 8/10. Beef cheek was a 2/10 given the flavor component was missing and the meat was extremely tender, more like eating over sous vide meat. Crème Brûlée was silky, smooth and with rich custard, would give that another 10/10.
Jerrin R — Google review
Nice glasses, table ware and cutlery. Lovely friendly owners or the waiters who look like they own and love their place, which is very appealing. Classic interior with old fashioned style dining, like Normandy or English upmarket brasserie type. Doesn’t feel old but classy. Tablecloths are there which is not very common for brassiere. Upgrading charming, classy atmosphere, you want to dress up a little for this place. Slow eating experience is not very common now, but if you want to enjoy it, come here. Good cocktails. Nice short menu. I missed the duck unfortunately as it is the most popular dish. Chicken pate was a bit healthy but the jelly on it was amazing. Barramundi wasn’t bad, not overcooked with crispy skin and basil and lemon sauce. Pillow with tomatoes and olives was a bit over-worming for me, maybe because of the intensity of olives but the fish was quite elegant by itself and worked well with the side flavors. Kipfler potato was good but a bit separated, however I’m happy that this was an experience to talk about. This is definitely a heritage of Leura. Not long but descent wine list, even by glass. Some rare wines are there. Pino gris from Orange was a good match for the fish. At least this is the dining experience you want to share. Very good brassiere but with fine dining atmosphere. I suppose still family owned restaurant. Recommend.

Rarely do I experience a duck confit that rivals that found in Paris and tonight I can say bravo Mr Collins I was transported! We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary and were greeted with a fruity and delectable Prosecco. Entré was a house cured salmon generous in portion lightly cured with fennel paired so brilliantly with the Venetian Pinot Grigio. (I will never underestimate the clean crisp delight of a northern Italian white. Mains we enjoyed the famous beef cheeks (served with a ginger marmalade and cauliflower mash) and the unforgettable duck confit with potato purée and burnt orange. A side of rocket with apple and walnuts was the perfect accompaniment. I was transported to Paris where just months earlier I had enjoyed a duck confit of this calibre and savouring the moment was required! Dessert could not be ignored as I reluctantly moved on from the duck but this was welcomed with pleasure by the chocolate marquis with roasted rhubarb and white chocolate soil. I will not wait to enjoy this slice of European heaven again.

Yummy food! Had the mushroom croquettes, wish it was more than 3! Couldn’t eaten 10! Mains had the gnocchi and beef cheeks with celeriac mash. Beef melted in mouth, best I’ve had! Only criticism I have is that the beef cheeks had hardly celeriac mash underneath I had to ask for a bit more. It didn’t come with any vegetables either but can order broccolini on side but didn’t want a whole side dish to myself. The waitress was kind enough to give me a small thing of mash which made the dish perfect. Had the yoghurt panna cotta for dessert that was very nice.

We had a wonderful dinner at Mr Collins in Leura. The meals were delicious and beautifully presented. The decor and ambience was relaxed yet stylish, and especially welcoming on a cold winter night. The duck, pork, prawns with black pudding and beef cheeks were the stand out dishes. Special mention to Greg, our server – friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting the Blue Mountains.
Moheb M — Google review
I’ll start by saying this was a lovely dining experience and the food was very good. Our server was very fun and accommodating to us trying some different wines before choosing. They were attentive and everything came out quickly, we were very happy and had a great time. I think for the price and the whole atmosphere of a kind of ‘fine dining’ experience, the food could have been a bit more flavourful. The duck was good but lacked some salt or depth. The desserts were nice but not something I would write home about. I liked everything overall and would recommend that others go here for a nice dining experience! Maybe it just wasn’t my favourite food :)

One of the best dinners we’ve had in a very long time. This restaurant is fabulous serving a variety of meals from Asia, Europe and Australia. The ambience is artistically colourful and relaxing. Very enjoyable, great value and service and the food quality was awesome. Check out the pictures attached.

The food is cooked perfectly and the servings are quite generous. I ordered the salmon medium rare and was very satisfied. Hidden Gem! We've been to Leura hundreds of times, but only discovered Madam Wang's after a google search for "great places to eat in Leura"! A very quirky, intimate little venue for lunch or dinner with fantastic food and service. Variations to the menu were requested and provided in a friendly and professional manner - not that there's much you would change (I just wanted a low carb option to my salmon meal). We had a couple of shared entrees (Salt n Pepper Squid & Spring Rolls), mains (2x Salmon, Satay Chicken and Duck) and desserts ("You only live twice" Lime Cheesecake, Chistmas Pudding in brandy sauce (yes!), Strawberry Caramel Tart and the Strawberry Summer Palace - all mouthwatering! Four very happy people!

Incredible! I’ve been wanting to visit for some years, and finally did so last night. The team at Madame Wang’s easily surpassed my high expectations - all food was delicious, outstanding. In particular I was not expecting to find one of the best Schnitzel dishes I’ve had anywhere - amazing. The team were also accommodating with our 2 year old, who helped us finish our meals. Service was fantastic, atmosphere was special. I am looking forward to revisiting and bringing friends and family.

Café Leura is a modern Australian restaurant with delicious dishes that are sure to please. The wait during Easter weekend was long, but it was well worth it as the food was amazing. There are many options to choose from, such as Turkish chilli scrambled eggs, avocado toast, Mediterranean baked eggs, bowl of chips. All of the items were beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. Service was quick despite being busy.
Excellent place to eat. Came in there very hungry with a huge appetite. They didn't disappoint. There was a fair lunch selection with a range with something for everyone. The food came fast despite the crowds, and it was delicious and fair sized as well. It was very tasty and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Definitely recommend.

Service was as cold as the weather outside. The Leura Burger didn't look like a burger, it was a mess. The fish burger looked better. The burgers tasted alright, nothing special. The fish burger looked like what they used for the fish and chips. For $13 all you get is a burger with no fries. 1 star for the warmth in the restaurant, taking back that star because I came out of the restaurant smelling like I cooked the burger myself. They need to do something about that ventilation.

We were a bit disappointed with the number of tourists and the long queue waiting for coffee. The food looked promising but the poached eggs from two of our orders were over cooked. The Banana Bread was delicious and the Hot Chocolate fantastic but the Coffee was also too cold.

Excellent food & great place for lunch today. We had fantastic burgers, lasagna, and chicken penne. Everything was wonderfully tasty and hot. The manager and staff made us all welcome and served us all quickly. Great place, 7 stars, 8 thumbs up from our 4 person group. Here's a pic of my lasagna, superb! Thank you!

If you are visiting three sisters, you can stop for lunch. Its s good place and serves delicious food. I liked veg spread of the restaurant. Coffee is a must try.

The kangaroo burger was nicely cooked, took a long time but that was fine since it was crowded, the only problem I had that the bread was extremely stale, hard as a cracker, other than that the burger was nice.
