Best menu of the day (soup- main dish-juice) in town and for the same price. The restaurant is very well located by the river and the staff will make everything to satisfy your appetite. They have a vegetarian option if you ask (and not just salad and rice). Recommended!
Waited 30 minutes and asked multiple waiters to clean the table and take our order, but they simply said wait a minute. Then they started taking orders of others who arrived long after us. They even tried to steal our umbrella to give shade to another table. All this while our kids kept screaming in Spanish that they wanted food. We speak fluent Spanish so it wasn't a communication issue, simply terrible service. We left without them ever cleaning the table or coming to take our order. I think it's only popular because it's cheaper than other restaurants on the river.

We had lunch at comedor costena yesterday, it was a disaster. They didn't have a table so they brought one out (good start). They then took our order and brought the soup really quickly, still good I thought. They then cleared the soup and we waited to 30 minutes for our main. We still hadn't received the drinks we ordered and had to ask for them. The waiters were all over the place and no-one organising anything. When the meal arrived they just plopped it down and went not offering any sauces or anything. We ate an average meal and decided to go. We asked for the bill and paid. The waiter brought our change and went before we could ask where The rest of it was. We 've eventually got his attention we explained that it was 10,000 cop short.
It's a shame as this place could be great if they understood service and were organised. If I could give it zero stars I would. I have been in the hospitality trade for your 30 and was flabbergasted.
The food is nice, the view on the river is nice,but they overcharge you 'accidentally' every time by 5000 pesos per person. When you ask for a written bill you get the correct price.
The natural juices are amazing and come in a gigantic size. Highly recommend the Guanabana juice. Would buy it without sugar next time, since the fruit is already sweet.

When she didn't return with the rest of my change for 10 minutes (they weren't busy, 3 employees and 2 customers), I finally asked for it. Santa Coa is lovely, great ambience. Glendys took care of us and made us feel very welcomed, great service. They have sitting by the river or in their garden, I recommend the garden. Arrived dead-tired after an 8 hour drive from Cartagena to Mompox, so we walked over to El Fuerte to eat. Very pleasantly surprised! The pizza's were nice and seemed fresh, tasted lovely as well. The service was spectacular, friendly personnel and lightning fast serving times (could give McDonalds a run for their money). Ambience was good too, cosy lights and it was located around the back of the building. There was even a cat! Only thing that could be improved upon were the slightly firm chairs.
All in all, great spot to crash into after a long journey. Would recommend.
Very good food, surprising Austrian influence but we were told that the owner is Austrian which explains everything. Delicious and fun to have sausage and Austrian potato salad in Colombia. The pizza had a very thin crust which we appreciated a lot. So good! The staff was super friendly, told us the history of the place. A very cosy place, inviting and with very good food.

Lovely place to have icecream, or waffles along the river. Lemonade was gorgeous too. Highly recommended!

Beautiful location by the river. Natural Tangarine juice was good. They served both our crepes with too much creamy mushroom sauce which changed the taste of the crepes. Creme is not necessary if you have good ingredients.
