We had really good time at this restaurant today, everything was sooo delicious and everyone was so kind and friendly. If you come here, you will definitely leave full and happy. You also get different breads with appetizers before the meal, and then raki and dessert are offered by the house after the meal. Thank you for everything, we will definitely come here again! :)

Beautiful hidden gem on the beautiful island of Crete. Loved everythibg about this restaurant, from the beautiful setting and decor, the fresh and delicious food all the way to the nice and very helpful staff, an amazing experience all around! The portions were very egenrouss and I recommend the lamb, the grilled octopus, fried calamari and especially the spicy tzatziki sauce (off menue, you have to ask for it)! They also offered us a delicious orange cake at the end which on its own, is worth trying this amazing place!

Lovely restaurant just off the main harbour in Sisi. Family run and we got there about 745 without a reservation. Very busy. Lots of staff on which was good. This was my personal highlight of our family holiday to Sissi in Crete. This place is amazing, especially on the traditional Greek night. The staff are super friendly, the atmosphere is awesome, the food is great. It was so busy. I mean wall-to-wall busy. This is the only reason that the service is 4 stars and not 5. And because it was so busy, the staff were rushing around everywhere, getting caught up in the activities and having fun along with the patrons, but we ordered drinks several times that didn't arrive to the table yet when the bill came, we had still been charged for. A quick word with the waiting staff though and it was quickly sorted. Genuinely, a great place.

We first viested George and Maria nearly 30 years ago .We were staying on the other side of sissi and George offered to take us home as it was quite a walk,this happened every night we ate there and again the following year On our next trip there Maria showed us there apartments at the back of the restaurant so that is where we have stayed every viest since.We were about to go again but Covid stuck Two years later our son died who was a similar age to,, their girls who he had a very soft spot for.Hopefully we can return next year as in our eyes the people,the food and the place in general are unbeatable See you soon. An absolutely fantastic restaurant. You simply cannot visit the beautiful town on Sissi without experiencing the hospitality, the amazing food and delightful staff at the Pink Flamingo. From stepping into the restaurant to leaving, you are treated with the best attentive service from Nikolaus. The food is first rate and we tried many things on the menu. For 15 euros for a Meze Plate, I can highly recommend this to share. The moussaka is Devine and the Gyros are the tastiest we had. There is a small playground for the kids and both indoor and outdoor seating. Also, make sure you try the Sangria. Sit with a gyros and a small jug of the sangria and enjoy the sea view. Perfection.

My husband and I were seated before we could even look at the menu at the entrance. We had a sticky menu, and when the food came, the mussels were clearly frozen beforehand but not indicated on the menu. The bread and tzatziki were pretty good, but we didn't feel good eating the rest because it was so bad that we were already hoping not to get food poisoning. The table behind my husband also sent most of their food back because, from what I overheard, it was just bad.

We ate here twice, lunch and then dinner. Both times the food was very delicious and fresh. The prices are very reasonable especially for the excellent food. The location is idyllic, a cool breeze during the hot day, a fabulous sunset for dinner.

This place has a lovely view over the sea front and great location for the sunset. It was empty when we went which is such a shame as the staff are very friendly and helpful and the menu choice is good. We chose a few different starters and then shared a pizza. All the food was good and I would recommed.

Totally underrated place. The owner and service were very friendly and attentive. The food exceeded my expectation. Its traditional greek but with a little twist. I had the beef souvlaki and it came with a interesting little mayo. The meat was very juicy and had a great grilled flavour. Vegetables and potatoes were a great addition and I liked that it was something else than just fries on the side. The plates looked very pretty. The spicy cheese dip had a nice kick and was a very tasty extra to the dishes. Probably the best place in Sisi. Would 10/10 recommend this place. Plus the view around sunset was amazing.

Beautiful restaurant with the best pasta I’ve ever had and can’t beat the view. Was more expensive than other restaurants I’ve been to but is absolutely worth the money, and the water was free as well as I free dessert. Would absolutely recommend!

Went here to seek some advice from the doctor about some medicine I had purchased for my 10 month old. He was very unhelpful, gave me incorrect guidance (I found this out after) and demanded I pay him 10 Euros for him giving me his false information. Avoid at all costs. The man is not professional at all and only cares about money.

We loved this bar/restaurant for drinks and food. It was really good, although we only had pizza, garlic bread and fries it was real good value...... the food, the drinks, the view. The view is astonishing what a lovely tranquil atmosphere. The staff are also unbelievably pleasant especially Erisa she is so polite and welcoming. Would strongly recommend a visit here.

4.9.2025, two Arabic speaking families consisting of 2 young couples and two toddlers asked the bartender (I think he is also the owner) to set for drinks in the terrace, he refused in a rude way stating the terrace only for ordering food while 5 of 8 tables had only drinks on the tables. Even the waitress was embarrassed by the bartender behaviour. We ended up eating and drinking in the adjacent restaurant called Kyma, which was amazing

Lovely English run pub. We went on a Thursday were there was a gentleman playing the guitar. The drinks were a reasonable price. The only downside is that it was quiet far away from anything else, such as parking.

We love this place! From here you can watch the sun set over the sea. The ambience is of course a matter of taste, but I love the Caribbean/pirate style. The service is so good and very nice, the frequent live music is brilliant and the cocktails are simply divine! If you're near Sissi, a visit is a must!

Beautiful bar on three levels with view to the beach. Nice staff and great quality of drinks and beers. We are definitely coming back another day to listen the live rock music :) The People here have a good sense of humor as well - we like that!

Really nice beach with white sand. The toilets are a bit far away but cool to see showers and changing booths nearby. Also there is a beach bar next to it. From the flip side it is hard to get there- you have to use a cab or walk in the heat to get there from hotels nearby. But it is worth if you do not want to visit the rocky beach.

Poor quality, rocky beach and always choppy! However, if you climb up the rocks and walk around the headland, it brings you down on to a promenade, to Kalimera beach, which is by far the best (and only sandy) beach in the area and well worth the 20-30 minute, 2km walk from the other end of Sissi

Small and relatively private sandy beach but rocky as you enter the sea. The people that run the sunbeds (7€ for 2 beds and parasol), very kind and friendly and pass out fruit and water for free. Also offer free use of sea shoes, flippers, lilo's etc

Very secluded, you can park at 30m from the actual beach. Beachbeds are on the expensive side, but you get a bottle of cooled water with them. Not very childfriendly. Big dropoff after 10meters, large rocks/pebbles.

Plori has a bar and restaurant around the corner facing the entrance to the harbour. We ate at the restaurant twice with both meals being excellent. A wonderful location for dinner, sitting outside watching the sunset in the far distance. Very efficient and friendly staff with the cost of a 2 course meal including a 500ml of wine and 1ltr of water coming to a total of 50 Euros. I will so miss Crete.

What a wonderful family run restaurant!! We are regulars in sisi and plori is definitely one of the best!! The staff are fast, friendly and personable. The food- ESPECIALLY THE PIZZA- is the best around. They have a wonderful view of the ocean, bay and sunset and are always busy, but the experience and food quality remains the best around. A huge portion of Cretan salad, a little bit light on the cheese, but very good value. Service is s average and the food took a while to arrive despite not being busy with only 4 or 5 tables occupied. This was lunchtime and I overheard one table being told the ovens were not turned on yet.

The Plori Restaurant served us delightful meals. Teresa the wateriest was extra kind and very polite at all times. We came back to eat at Plori Restaurant in several occasions as the menu has a huge variety of options. Huge portions and a good value for money. For us was the best food in Sisi. Five star service. All staff was kind and professional. Best place to enjoy food and a wonderful view to the sunset.

I would definitely recommend heading to Peggy Gordons for a drink if staying in Sissi. We enjoyed chatting and enjoying a drink at the bar. He plays the football matches for those wanting to watch a game and the outside seating area will be perfect for the summer evenings. The hours on Google are incorrect as he has been open throughout our stay.

A really beautiful beach. At the time we arived there, around 6 pm, it was really empty but we manage to meet a lovely girl, named miss Foxy who literally played with us for a few hours...aparently she likes to run from home and come to the beach and play catch with everybody🤗❤️

Nice pebbled beach, not so easy to get in, not really suitable children as the waves can be big, there's nowhere on the beach to buy food or drink, there is a building but it was never open on the 2 occasions we visited.

Lovely small little beach that is accessible from the road and a small footpath. There's a lot of waves because it's a bay so if you're into that, this is the place to be.

We're here in Sissi until the 28th June 25. We absolutely love this little place! Family ran, great banter and go that extra mile to make you comfortable. The beer is great and we've already laughed all day with the best staff. The stifado and moussaka were delightful in our tranquil Cretan village setting. The complimentary bread and beetroot starter were a pleasant surprise, and the white grapes were the best we've ever tasted. We were particularly impressed by the generous portion of moussaka. The entire experience, nestled in a garden under olive trees, was incredibly relaxing. If we ever return to Sissi, we'll definitely be back to this charming spot.

Moussaka was clearly homemade and really tasty! We also had some fried courgette which was served with some tzatziki. The fries were the best we’ve had in Crete which says a lot since you basically get them everywhere. Sure, service could be a bit more cheery, but we were lucky to come on a calm evening so we got all the attention we needed. Beautiful views! Wasn’t allowed to pay with card!!

We have been quite disappointed about food. I took seafood saganaki, bf took squid. Food was average/ below average, especially that day before we ate the same in other places and couldn’t stop eating, because it was very good. This food was lacking taste, cheese on saganaki tasted quite cheep a-la low quality cheddar. Clams in the dish were absent, found only shells of them. Home wine though was nice (white). Overall - Don’t recommend if you prefer higher quality food. Service - ok’ish. Man was trying. Paid altogether 39 eur. If was more - would be even more disappointed.

Good food with amazing views. Had the ratatouille au four, a veggie platter. Great flavor. Our table also had a grilled fish, grilled octopus, beef stew, and shrimp saganaki. Beer was the coldest I’ve had in Greece, with frosted mugs.

We had a fantastic meze meal on the first night of our holiday, the girls enjoyed shrimp and mussels. We had various dishes like wrapped vine leafs, tzatziki, fried eggplant, dakos, and greek salad. My son enjoyed his gyros. We had a great sea view and we could see Hersonissos Port lit up and sparkling in the distance. The meal finished with some Raki. Yamas.

The castello village. Is beautiful. Clean and the rooms are to high standard. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Especially the entertainment staff and susie. Location brilliant. The only thing which wasn't up to standard was the food. We were there for two week. It wasn't never warm the plates cold. Even when they brought fresh trays out. It was cold. It was reported many times by different people. They was no improvement

Attention, stay, reception, pool, meals… everything was great. People working at hotel have been kindly and they have tried to understand us in every situation that we have asked. If I come back to Crete, sure I will come back to stay on this hotel. Thanks for all your attention.

Next to the sea, we got a room pretty quicky even tho wasnt the check-in time yet. Staff friendly, good food. The water in the little pool was a little bit murky but Boufos beach ( such a pleasant surprise) is at 4 minutes by foot. Totally recommended!

It’s probably 3.5 for me but went for four stars. Room was adequate and cleaned most days with fresh towels and a/c. The food was very good. The staff all very friendly although clearly stretched with the pool bars not opening until 11am ish and not being allowed to drink your own water by the pool seemed unfair during hot temperatures. I enjoyed some water polo (could do with some actual goals rather than chairs) the pool was excellent. The entertainment was good on the evenings, particularly Andreas was a highlight who made everything really good fun especially when the internet dropped out regularly during karaoke nights. I would revisit this hotel and certainly Sissi, a beautiful place it is.

Lovely hotel with very good food. Not the best place if you like silence. The swimming pool is great but quite busy. The rooms are basic with not much natural ventilation.

Would i stay here again absolutely no ,the pictures on their website are not the hotel,breakfast buffet is ok at best ,the pool bars if you get served are OK,the music is dictated by the bar staff and way too loud ,the rooms are designed for borrowers, using suitcases for storage,views are good depending on the rooms you get ,entertainment 5 out of 7 is in the sister hotel across the road ,maralaina needs a course on customer service terrible attitude ,ervis you absolutely saved the day what a ambassador for the hotel,if you not too clever on your feet 2 major ramps to negotiate or numerous steps, not a 4 star hotel just over 3 at a push ,great facilities outside hotel but would never book again

Absolute dishonest man at the reception. They over charge to give you the safe key. We also had no AC. It's absolutely a rip off for a well below average hotel. I'd never go back and I wouldn't recommend it at all.
