The friendly guides ensure that even first-time riders feel comfortable as they navigate off-road terrain.
Morning trip out on the Quad tour, a really enjoyable experience albeit we encountered some rain along the way, however the Quad Safari staff kindly came out and met us along the way in their minibus with some ponchos, which were very much appreciated. Great staff, great views and a great experience. Loved the Olive oil museum and having a mooch around the abandoned ghost town. Highly recommended trip out!

We had an unforgettable evening tour with Quad Safari Crete, taking us through charming, authentic villages and beautiful landscapes — all under the expert and entertaining guidance of our amazing guide, Mr. Sexy (yes, that’s what he calls himself, and it suits his charismatic personality perfectly!). The tour was both exciting and informative. Along the way, we learned about local culture and the history of olive oil production, which Mr. Sexy explained with great knowledge and humor. You could really feel his passion for the region and its traditions. The final part of the ride was absolutely magical — driving through the landscape in the dark, lit only by our ATV headlights and the stars above. It created an unforgettable atmosphere. All in all, a perfect mix of adventure, culture, and great company. We can highly recommend Quad Safari Crete Peninsula to anyone looking to experience a different and authentic side of Crete — and of course, meet Mr. Sexy, who truly is the cherry on top!
Sebastian H — Google review
Such an amazing experience! We had the best time, it’s so worth the money and the tour guides are excellent. We want to thank ‘Mr Sexy’ for making it such a fun tour to do on our last day of our holiday.

What an incredible time quad biking! From start to finish, the staff were incredibly professional, witty, and genuinely funny, making for a fantastic atmosphere. We chose the sunset ride, and it lived up to all expectations – the views as the sunset over the ocean were absolutely stunning and unforgettable. The first stop was the local olive mill (Striligkas olive mill and museum), which is a brilliant place to visit in its own right, even if you don't take a quad tour. Can't recommend this place enough! Thank you!!
Nita H — Google review
Had a great morning on the Quad bikes, the tour guide ‘Mr Sexy’ was super helpful and funny. First stop was at the Olive Mill where we got to do some tasting and they have lots of different oils available to purchase at such a good value. Second stop was to a ghost village and then the final stop was home to a famous painter - the gyros and fresh orange juice is amazing. Great views throughout the quad biking experience, definitely an experience worth doing while on holiday!
Louise M — Google review
Had amazing time with Quad Safari Peninsula today! A lot of adrenaline , beautiful views and cool information about olive oil production and traditional village life. Our guides did great job providing safety and comfortable travel around the city. And making this trip funny and easy. Special thank you to the Fathi and his team. We want to come back again. If you stay in the aria you for sure must try this tour! 💫
Aleksandra D — Google review
The tour took us on beautiful scenery, and the different stops at the ghost town and olive oil museum were also exciting. Special shoutout to ‘Mr. Sexy’, our tour guide who made this trip even more fun!

Paralia Psaromoura

Beach
Paralia Psaromoura is a picturesque crescent-shaped bay nestled between cliffs, shielding it from strong winds. While lacking restaurants and hotels, the beach offers convenient access to various amenities and ample sun loungers for relaxation. Visitors can partake in water activities like pedalo rides or paddle boarding on the stunning blue waters. The area also features nearby parking lots and scattered accommodations.
Beautiful clear blue sea, large pebble and rock beach (not sharp) Plenty of sunbeds to hire two for 25€ for two and a parasol...which I will need the sun beams on this beach that price is for the whole day. The bar on the beach is great very polite helpful and friendly staff which also run boat hire with or without captain 90€ for an hour and jet skis 60€ for 15 mins (plenty of time ) life jackets supplied and a lesson if you've not driven a boat if u want to take it out without a captain The sea is lovely and warm lots of fish to sea if you like to go under the water, water is still small movement not massive waves Nice walk down to the beach, steep hill back up but very much worth it We spent every day on this beach we hired a boat twice so it was nice to see further than the eye and sea more under the sea and little coves. The guys that work on the beach you do an amazing job and are so welcoming thank you all Go and explore We will be back next year
Sarah C — Google review
It’s a beautiful small beach, but the private area’s umbrella are a bit overpriced. 25€ for the first row, 20€ for the rest. However, the bar was convenient with 0,50€ for a 0,5L bottle of water and 2,50€ for an iced coffee (frappe). There’s a public beach area, too, and free parking. You have to walk 4-5 min to the beach as it is downhill.
Alion Ç — Google review
Gorgeous little beach. Affordable and comfy beds, beautifully clear water and great cliff-jumping spots ✨ It's quite small so could get pretty crowded.
Rachel L — Google review
Crystal clear water with rocks around the beach. You don't have to pay for sunbeds if there is room in the beach bar.
Filip B — Google review
It’s a pretty beach, clear water and a lot of marine life. Theres free parking 4 minutes away and a small bar on the beach. There are sunbeds available but they cost 25 euro next to the sea and 20 euro near the back. There is also place for you to place your towels directly on the ground depending on the busyness or the time of day. We came here at about 3 in the afternoon and there were free spots with sun but also in the shade. There’s a small cabin to change into your bathing suit but no available bathroom. The bad thing is the insufferable loud music coming from the bar.
Anghelina C — Google review
It is a nice beach with stones. The water is very clear. You can easily see the bottom. Umbrella and two sezlongs are 25 eur (2024). There is a bar with a variety of drinks and some sandwiches and chips. I recommend buying some snacks from markets before coming here. There are 2 mobile toilets upstairs if you dare to use them. Free parking is available.
Özkan Ç — Google review
Sunbeds are too expensive - 25€ per set Unfortunately they have covered the whole beach with sunbeds so there is no space to sit down with your own towel. The beach is super nice though - compared to what you can find close to Heraklion
Alexandra G — Google review
Quite small pebble beach. It was pretty crowded today, probably because it was Saturday. There is a bar on the beach. 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella 20€. The water is very clear and worth snorkeling. Some water shoes would be useful too. There is a free parking up.

Beaches
Psaromoura Beach, located in the Agia Pelagia complex in Heraklion, is a small yet popular spot among locals. The bay is surrounded by rocks and offers a secluded escape from noise and crowds. Visitors recommend arriving early to secure an umbrella and enjoy the private feel of the beach. A friendly bartender serves drinks and snacks at the beach bar, while water sports like jet skis, kayaks, and paddle boarding are available for adventure seekers.
Very beautiful beach which during low season (end of October) wasn’t too crowded (high season is most likely very different). The water is so clear and it was a snorkeling paradise for us and the kids!
Appelgretchen — Google review
The beach itself was lovely—clean water, a great spot for a morning swim, and ideal for snorkeling. We only visited in the morning to enjoy a swim and a coffee. However, the atmosphere at the bar was a bit off. The staff, particularly the guy at the bar and his girlfriend, seemed somewhat annoyed and not very welcoming—perhaps because it was still early, around 9 a.m. It created a slightly uncomfortable vibe. We’d definitely return to the beach for the water and the setting, but probably skip the bar next time.
Jana C — Google review
The food was not very special. Loved the sunbeds at this beach. They were so soft and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely visit the beach again.
Steffi H — Google review
The water here is amazing I really enjoyed to swim there. For two people we paid 25 Eur and got the sunbed from the second row. After second row, sunbeds for two are 20 Eur but they are not clean as like the first two rows. The main problem here is wc. They have only plastic cabins. Also to eat they sell only sandwiches.
Melda A — Google review
The beach is somewhat small and the water level is immediately high. It is not easily accessible to everyone and this makes it ideal to stay all day in a very beautiful stall protected from the wind by the mountains and with spectacular views of the coast. There is a bar where you can buy some drinks and ice cream. Prices are ok
Technoselectors — Google review
Such a nice beach, definitely recommended! You need to come early to get an umbrella (up to 10:30). The beach itself is small and feels private, there is a beach bar with drinks and snacks served by very friendly bartender. Watersports also available, small boat, jet ski, kayaks, paddle boarding and katamarans. The only downside is the rocky entrance into the water however it makes the water extremely transparent. Overall a must visit place.
Nicolae P — Google review
Psaromoura Beach is a little hidden, which makes it the perfect place for a quiet morning or afternoon. There’s lot’s of beds to rent, but the prices were very high (€15,- for two) compared to other beaches. But also some room to sit in the sand.

Great place near Agia Pelagia. The food is really tasty and the view is great. Also a sound plus for the music selection, you can enjoy all of this combined in a nice setting. Highly recommend it 🤗

The food was delicious, and the staff were always friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. I visited the restaurant 3 to 4 times, and each time they treated us with a complimentary dessert, it was such a nice touch. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re nearby.

What a wonderful find. Perched on the cliff with the most amazing views across the bay. The food was amazing. We had the mixed fish platter and unfortunately also ordered starters. Unfortunately, because portion sizes were very generous and we couldn't finish our main course. Service was attentive and atmosphere was warm and friendly despite being towards the end if the season. We will come back next time we come to Agia Pelagia!!!
Giovanna M — Google review
Everything about the Yamas restaurant is perfect: the food is delicious, fresh, and made with love, and there is a wide variety from greek to european cuisine. The service is impeccable (and the servers are really cute) and overall the ambiance and location are great. The view on the sea accompanied by great music just gives this restaurant a unique experience and a great vibe. If I come to Crete again, I will definitely return to the Yamas restaurant, it is worth a visit! Definitely recommended. We love you Manolis, Ndorian, Manos, Kristi 🩷🇬🇷🫵🏼 Kisses from the crazy blondes 😘
Anna R — Google review
Wonderful location, great food and the staff was really good, not much wait and good advice as to what wines or servings to pick. We had feta cheese rolls for two which was just enough, a bit salty but good overall. We then had a moussaka and chicken with feta sauce and fries which was good. The restaurant’s favourite white wine is really nice and will not break your wallet. Overall not so pricey, especially for the location, we had a superb moment. Definitely a must go if you are nearby. We were also served a piece of cake along with the raki, no need for a desert. You will not see the sunset as the place is facing east, but you will admire all sorts of wonderful colours while having dinner.

I have been many countries around the world as well as many places, restaurants in Crete in Greece. I am going to tell this restaurant has a different tropic modern vibes and unique style compared to all other popular restaurants. The staff ı dont even know what to say. They are so professional, ı know how the owners approach to customer if they are into money or hospitability. Those guys are so professional. I understand from food, serving style, approach techniques, the materials which is being used, ıf they are tricking you or honest etc. I can tell they make you feel premium vip customer. I really loved their friendly style. No matter who you are, they welcome you with their best. I believe their staff is choosen the best ones. Never felt any bad treatment or any bad vibes. This place deserve 10 star. Efharisto para poli mou file Yasass🏖️🇬🇷❤️💯

Lygaria beach is the second largest beach in Agia Pelagia, featuring a mix of sandy and rocky areas. It offers various amenities including restaurants, cafes, a diving center, water sports facilities, sun loungers and umbrellas. The clear blue waters are perfect for swimming and snorkeling with an abundance of marine life to explore. Visitors can also enjoy activities like kayaking and paddleboarding. The surrounding cliffs provide a picturesque backdrop to this charming beach community.
Great beach, choice of restaurants to eat from. Good walking areas. Public washroom potty, and changing room available. Only draw back is steep drive down to beach, with sharp turns where you are blind to on coming cars. Drive carefully.
Alex H — Google review
Beautiful beach with a mix of locals and tourists. Not too busy, but gets bussier at the end of the day. Great restaurant choices to choose from and the water is absolutely stunning. Take a look on the cliff on the left side and get a great view of the bay. The right side has a smaller cliff on the end which is absolutely recommended to take a dive or look and see how clear and blue the water gets here.
Day D — Google review
Very crowded on a Sunday with extremely choppy water while we were there. Sand beach, with restaurants along the way and some gorgeous places to take pics on either end of the beach. Staying here, we enjoyed it, but might not be worth a drive…
Livia K — Google review
Great beach! Got there around 2 pm, nobody charged me for the sunbed. A bit slippery when you go in, but it's truly a small beautiful oasis. Would return
Karla — Google review
Small beach with umbrellas. 2 sunbeds and umbrella 7€. Entrance to the sea: rock, pebbles and a little sand. Restaurants near. In the beach only one small supermarket.
Akvile P — Google review
Wonderful beach was enough umbrellas and variety of beds ranging from two to €10 for rent. Which is wider and not a shallow as in Aglia Pelagia. Wonderful snorkeling, opportunities to see small and large fish sitting on the seaweed. One of the best restaurants we’ve seen so far in Greece-Taberna Sirocco.
Katherine R — Google review
Decent price for umbrellas, cafes and taverns in nearby. Pebby sea, not crowded. Well recommended!

Place is good but I gave a star less cause in comparison to the other beach (Agia Pelagia) we found this place a little limited in terms of choice of Resturants and accessibility + parking … otherwise the place looks very scenic and has ample amount of beds to sit and enjoy the sea

Nestled away from the hustle and bustle, Beach Parasfoungario is a hidden treasure that offers breathtaking views of a secluded cove. We walked up there from the highway just to watch a beautiful beach from up...and just kept watching because the beach is PRIVATE. THE ACCESS TO NATURAL BEAUTIES SHOULD BE FREE AND PUBLIC. In italy to close the access to coast territorry is illegal. I think this should be a crime everywhere. Very angry to the yet another greedy luxury resort that is eating this island from the inside.

An excellent experience with water sports! We tried both jet skiing and water skiing — the equipment was in perfect condition, and the instructors were very friendly and professional. Everything was well organized, and I felt safe throughout. A perfect activity for anyone looking to add some excitement to their vacation. I’d definitely do it again!

Today we rented a jet ski for 20 minutes, that was all okay except for one time where we ended up too close to the coast due to big waves and wind, and the jet ski was stopped as was explained at the start. This all seemed to be no problem and we drove back into the area after and then back to the beach as our time was up. Upon arrival a ‘coast police’ was waiting for us and without any explanation our passports, hotel information and phone number were asked. When we asked why this was necessary and if we did something wrong the answer was; no no it’s just a check and you have to give your information otherwise you’ll go to the police station. We said we wanted to know why and didn’t just want to give our information like that and the coast police got pretty mad at us in Greek and people were yelling at each other. In the end one of the guys from the rental explained to us that you need a permit to drive the jet ski, which no one had told us and we were not aware of. After half an hour of arguing with the Greek coast guard and the rental staff we were finally allowed to go. Let’s hope nothing else follows from this as this experience was already bad enough. Don’t rent a jet ski if you don’t have a licence!!! 👎👎👎👎🦆🦆🦆

Must do!! The owner and his crew are amazing friendly fun people!! In such a touristic island is not so easy to find spots that they really want you to have fun, instead of just your money. Well, that was a great spot with good Vibes!! We enjoyed a great experience ** absolutely recommend it 👍

Overall it was a very nice experience. We wanted to rent a boat and they said to us: You won't have fun because it's too windy. In my opinion it wasn't that windy, but they wanted us to enjoy the boat trip. That's a great service. Price for 3 hours with fuel included is perfect. Thank you and hope to see you soon.

Very correct service and fair prices! Thanks for the fun afternoon.

Quick service, no hidden charges. Rented the boat without skipper. Restriction not to come closer 200 m to beaches/rocks - claims boat tracked by GPS tracker . Which I doubt, but prudence needs to be exercised.

The best water sports, personal very friendly, perfect prices. I've rent a boat, it was very nice. The area is amazing, very nice beaches that you can visit with their boat. I will visit them next year also.

Sirocco Taverna is a charming family-run establishment nestled in Agia Pelagia, just across from the Alexander House Hotel. This traditional Cretan restaurant prides itself on offering an authentic Greek dining experience with a thoughtful selection of local dishes that are sure to delight your palate. Guests rave about the generous portions and exceptional quality of food, often enhanced by the warm and friendly service provided by the staff who genuinely seem to enjoy their work.
Exactly the kind of family-run Greek tavern you dream of—right next to a cozy, calm local beach. The seafood is fresh and tasty, but their fried zucchini and grilled prawns are truly next level!

Went here in September with a group of friends for lunch (without reservation). Food was absolutely excellent with good portions and reasonable prices. Service was a bit slow, but it was definitely worth the wait. We had an outside table right next to the beach so the view was incredible as well. We received some fruits and an extra desert on the house which was a super nice touch :) Don't know what they put in that desert, but I am still thinking about it to this day. Highly recommend.

Well maintained restaurant with welcoming staff. Nice indoor and outdoor areas with sea view.. We liked the Gildhead (Daurade) and stifado a lot. The Kalamari was a bit bland for our taste, and the waiter forgot to bring us the bread we ordered. Delicious dessert on the house though.

Top food! Been here 3 evenings during my holiday. Fare prices, big portions, sea view and authentic greek dishes!

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised with some complimentary treats that made us feel truly appreciated as guests. The service was outstanding from start to finish — highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and warm hospitality!

This was our fourth visit to Ligaria last month and we feel like we have become 'locals' when we visit Sirocco. We enjoyed four meals during our week and a lovely pizza take away on the beach. The meals in the restaurant were all fantastic ranging from the specialist 'biftek' to the wonderful stifado and mousaka. The staff are so welcoming and the view, only two metres from the beach, is stunning. So from Julie and John ('Giannis' ) efharasto poli and hope to see you all next year.

More than expected. I arrived by the recommendation of a local diving instructor that says they offer great Greek experience. I came hungry and I dared to ask for food that I had never tried before. I was immediately surprised by quantity and quality. When asking for dessert, I asked for a simple bakery to share and I was surprised with the most exquisite Raki liquor and fruits without extra charge. The whole crew is smiling, happy, they give the impression that they like what they do and do it well. This has definitely become a place that I will return every time I return to Crete

The place looks very nice and the view is stunning. Despite the fact of having paid a fortune bill , which euro 300 were only for two lobster in a plateau. Good service but I felt the dinner was ruin from a bill that just made the place a tourist trap.

Great food, very friendly service. Thought the surf and turf would be a bit bigger steak for two people for that price.

Higly recommanded! The chief cook in front of you and the seafood is perfectly cooked 🤩
Steve M — Google review
I was lucky enough to have the most delicious dinner of my life at this restaurant. No offense to other restaurants, but this one has the best menu. Everywhere the menu is almost the same (fried fish and potatoes in oil). But here the food is at an unusually high level! I will definitely come back to Agia Pelagia just for this restaurant. The best restaurant on this coast for sure!

Quite expensive, and a place where they claim their Internet doesn't work so cash only. A sign also blocks the view.
