Tiki bar
Whiskey Joe's in Port Richey is a tropical-themed tiki bar that offers a relaxed beach atmosphere with river views. It's the perfect spot to enjoy easy eats and cold drinks without the hassle of packing a cooler. The menu features a variety of options including tacos, pizza, seafood, wings, and more. Guests can dine outside in the sand or on the upper deck overlooking the water for a cool breeze.
I LOVE my meal, salmon & veg with crab topping. It has so much flavor in every bite, yummy! Everything very here are always delicious. A great place to make it a date night with friends or your love one to relax & see a beautiful view overlooking the bay. Catch the sunset if you can, it is gorgeous! Wonderful team of helpful & very friendly staffs. They have private area with a view of waterfront for weddings and small social gathering.

It was a beautiful day out, so my wife and I decided to go to Whiskey Joe's. The water was calm and beautiful on the river the sun was out and the sand was awesome. Our server Casey was excellent and one great Guy. We ordered our lunch and everything was perfect my burger was delicious and my wife's turkey sandwich was huge. So go sit back and relax, YOU KNOW YOU NEED IT !!

AMBER was amazing! She was so attentive, kind, and FUNNY. She always asked what else we need and had great suggestions. The food was great and the atmosphere was wonderful with the live music and water view. We brought 4 pups with us and all the servers came over to give them love and make sure they didn’t need anything. Loved the experience but loved AMBER more.

Stopped by Whiskey Joe’s in New Port Richey with high hopes, but left feeling a bit underwhelmed. The location is great—right on the water with a nice view and laid-back vibe. Unfortunately, the food and service didn’t quite match the scenery. The menu sounded better than it tasted. My meal was okay, not terrible, but definitely lacked flavor and felt a bit rushed. Same story with the drinks—just average. Service was friendly but slow and a little disorganized; it felt like the staff was stretched too thin. It’s not a bad place if you’re looking to grab a bite and a drink near the water, but don’t expect anything special. A solid meh. Might give it another shot someday, but I’m not in a rush.
J M — Google review
Such a nice surprise, a beautiful view of the water and great food and drinks. The fish tacos were great and you can't go wrong with a pineapple upside down cake. Great place too sit at a tiki bar at sunset.

This is our first experience in New Port Richey and Whiskey Joe’s was recommended by our hotel. It did not disappoint. What a fun atmosphere with good food and a nice view of water. Our waitress was really sweet and fun and worked hard. Definitely check out Whiskey Joe’s. Looks like it would be a fun place to hang out in the evening by the water and fire pits.
Annette F — Google review
I'm giving this place five stars just because I love the environment. It's basically a beach bar. They also have tables and chairs for dining, or you can sit comfortably around a fire with your friends and family. I usually go during the sunset and they always have live music outside. Not sure if I'm just lucky to catch the live music or if it's an everyday thing, but it's awesome. My favorite little gem in New Port Richey. Go with plenty of time on your hands because they're always busy and service is slow. Parking sucks too, but the stress of looking for parking goes away once you're having a beachside drink at Whiskey Joe's 🥰
Leslie J — Google review
Such a fun environment and Gia, our waitress, was the best!!!! So much fun and engaging!!! We had a blast with her! Food was very tasty and the live music added to the beach vibe. We’re from out of town but come here with local friends while in town!

Seafood restaurant
Catches Waterfront Grille is a top dining spot in New Port Richey, offering a diverse menu featuring fresh seafood, steaks, and creative cocktails. With its scenic waterfront views and outdoor seating area, it provides a delightful setting for enjoying delicious meals and cool breezes. Whether you're looking to celebrate special occasions or simply enjoy a casual hangout with friends at the tiki bar, this restaurant has something for everyone.
I had the fried grouper sandwich and coleslaw while sitting at the bar. It was a Saturday night around 6:30 PM and it wasn't crowded. But, we are in the slow season now when the snowbirds have went home and the summer tourists are not in full swing yet. Service was fast, food was good, and my sandwich had the toppings I asked for and was piping hot.

This place is beautiful inside. It's nice and bright with natural light. The waterfront makes it feel so airy. The staff was very pleasant. The food was phenomenal 😋 We were seated right away. Our food came out pretty quick. We will be coming back here to eat again.

What a wonderful place. Our server Leza (spelling?) was awesome. I had the captains plater and omg. Huge portions. It had shrimp, scallops, flounder and a good size crab cake. No I couldn’t eat it all. It was very good and it came with two sides. I had broccoli and coleslaw both were very good. My husband had the shrimp plate and it came with so much shrimp we brought some of that home too. It was blackened to perfection. He had fries that were very yummy and coleslaw. We took home dessert which we had to try before we left and it was delicious. It was an orange cake. It might be a little pricey but let me tell you, you get what you pay for! I can’t wait to go back.

Had a nice dinner here, all the food was delicious and large portions. We had the snow crab, coconut shrimp, scallops, oysters, and salmon. Complimentary warm rolls and butter we're a nice touch as well.
Mary — Google review
The margarita was way too sweet. I ordered fish and chips. The batter was thicker than the fish! The photo is all the batter I peeled off to get to the fish! Fries were tough. I did enjoy the chowder. I will never return!

We had their Monday night Captains platter which was 27.00 from regular 34.00. It was wonderful! I wish I took a picture of it. The presentation was beautiful, it included 2 flounder filets, shrimp and scallops and a large crab cake drizzled with a delightful sauce, also with fresh green beans and yellow rice. It was beautifully blackened seasoned. Tasted delicious!! You also had the choice of grilled or fried. We had friends in from out of town. All 4 of us had this dish, and took home left overs to boot! Compliments to the chef! Our waitress Jackie was great! Very accommodating and friendly! We'll be back!

I have been here twice and both times have been incredible. All the staff are kind, accommodating, and provide fantastic service. This last time our server was Joshua N and he was incredibly personable, going above and beyond for our table. The price is also incredible fair for the quality and quantity of food received. We highly recommend this option for an affordable upscale option for dinner.

Warning: Do not eat here if you have any food allergies or intolerances. They offer a black bean burger, which sounds delicious, but when I told the waitress that I have a meat allergy, she checked with the kitchen and informed me that it is cooked on the same cooktop as the meat, so I did not order it. She added that cross-contamination was possible with any of their menu items. We should have left at that point. To be safe (or so I thought), I ordered sides only - a caesar salad, mac and cheese, and street corn. My husband ordered the clam chowder and Captain’s Platter. The caesar salad was lukewarm, had a random piece of feta on the side of the bowl, and about half of the lettuce was wilted and brown. I pointed that out and the waitress said, “thanks for letting us know, I’ll check the rest of the lettuce and make sure it’s ok.” No offer for an alternative or a discount and no apology. The mac and cheese was watery and had an odd flavor. The corn was chewy (tasted like it had been frozen) and had a fishy flavor. The sauce on it was well-seasoned with Old Bay, but was extremely messy. After a few bites, I realized that the corn might have been boiled in the same water as the other boils, which include sausage. I did not confirm this, but if so, in spite of the cross-contamination warning, it would have been good to know. My husband’s clam chowder tasted sour and was mostly potatoes, no clams. The fried fish was mostly breading, which fell off as soon as he cut into it. The side vegetable was green beans covered in garlic. Again, this would be nice to have known since he does not like garlic. I was sick to my stomach the entire evening and the next day. Several years ago, we loved this place, but not anymore. If you have any sensitivities, need fresh food that is not cross-contaminated, or are a picky eater, stay away from Catches.

I really like sitting outside next to the Water! We were there last night, and it was perfect. The food was good, the server was amazing! I forgot her name. However she was perfect! I will definitely go back again. Very Relaxing. Thank you to the server. Sorry I forgot your name!

Good food, loved the very chill but bubbly atmosphere, loved the service, it was a great place to grab some lunch. We brought my dog, he had so much fun enjoying the smells and meeting other dogs and people. The service was quick, attentive, nice and patient. The food was very good, absolutely loved their mango salsa, their fish was good and my family enjoyed their shrimp tacos. The sweet potato fries were honestly a little more oily than I would've preferred but the flavor was very good. Definitely coming back sometime!

The atmosphere was great! They have shaded spots out by the water so it wasn’t too hot to eat outside. All of the food came out quick, hot, and tasty. There is a hugeee selection in their massive menu so it was easy to find something everybody liked. Looking forward to visiting again on a day they have live music!

First time visitor this past Saturday. GREAT PLACE! Food was very good, drink was very good and the service was excellent. Atmosphere was also very nice. It was hot, low-mid 90s, so I was reluctant to eat "al fresco", but there was a breeze and every seat was shady in some way. Never felt hot. Had Jerk Chicken sandwich w/ coconut curry sauce and onion rings! I highly recommend. Delicious! Shout out to Jamie (our server). She was friendly, attentive and never let our drinks empty. She also remembered our order perfectly without writing ANY of it down even after stopping at two other tables prior to entering it... There was even live music! We will definitely be back.

Gill Dawg!! This place is awesome, from weekday lunch swing-ins to weekend bands playing on stage, This is the Place to Be!!! Local radio station celebrities drop in, and killer foods like Calamari or Fish Tacos. Good prices on beers with a decent variety. And on weekdays it's quiet, you get to sit by the water and enjoy the nature around you. Between nature, parties, or a nice quiet lunch gills got you covered. Whenever you're in New Port Richey make it a point to stop at Gill Dawgs Tiki Bar and Grill!

What a great place! Good food, good music, and a great selection of beers and drinks! There's nothing pretentious about this laid-back, dog friendly waterfront bar and grill. And that's a good thing! Coz they'll easily impress you with their ambiance, quality, service and prices. We got their Gill Dawg Signature Burger (with apple wood bacon, grilled pineapple, and fireball glaze) and it was the best burger we've had, bar none. And did I say dog friendly? Very dog friendly! In fact, they even have a menu for dogs and will bring your pup it's own bowl of water. That always makes a difference to us. You've got a winning formula. We'll be back!

I would have given this restaurant 5 stars on the food alone. The food was outstanding, I had one of the best grouper sandwiches I have ever eaten. The reason for the 4 stars was for the service. It took over 15 minutes for the hostess to find a waitress to serve us. I got the sense for the hostess that she would rather be anywhere else, doing anything else, than her hostess job. They were very short staffed with wait staff, especially for a Tuesday night, and it took a long time to get served, get our food and our bill. My husband was disappointed that they did not make any soup for their "daily soup" that was listed on the menu. The live music and atmosphere was great. Everyone was having a great time and singing along to the music. I will give this place a second chance...like I said, the food was outstanding. I'm assuming that they must have been short staffed.

I'm deaf and most restaurants I goes to doesn't serve me a decent services. So, here at Gill Dawg restaurants in Port Richey, I odder fish and chip for meal and appetizer is spinach and artichokes dip. What the waitress did she put in the order and the food came out same time. I explain to her that appetizer food should comes first then meal. She gave me an attitudes and told me it here and take it. I really want to eat it separately, not at same time. I also order sweet tea and didn't get refilled. I'm giving one star review.

First time coming here another hidden 💎 has been found. Even though they were busy greeted right away. Quick stop for breakfast in our RV... Big parking lot was the deciding factor. But wow, what a great treat we happened upon! Fresh produce, fabulous selection of veggies for omelets! My honey had the corned beef hash and eggs... He loved it! Also ordered the banana bread french toast for his dessert... Oh my... So yummy, no syrup required!! The coffee was hot and fresh! Our server was Tina - a consummate professional and bonus, super friendly and efficient!! Such a great experience...

Reliably tasty American diner in the New Port Richey area. Friendly staff. Plenty of hot coffee. Confortable seating. Not too loud so easy to talk to someone. If I lived in the area and came here to dine more often, I'll have tasted many more dishes and might upgrade to 4 stars. I try to give 5 stars to truly great places.

Yup, This update is just to confirm that they are STILL AWESOME!!!! The employees are FANTABULOUS!! And the food still comes our hot and fresh!! If you haven't had the home fries deep fried, ya need to. I haven't had a single thing here that wasn't absolutely delicious. First time visiting, and I believe we're hooked. Lol Employees are SO super nice!!! Very attentive, and I love the fact that they help each other with their tables!! We never ran out of drinks, and I think we spoke to everyone that works there at LEAST once! Love, love, love!!!! The food didn't take long to come out, and it was cooked to order perfectly. I mean, all we ordered was a burger and fries and a wrap and fries (this time), but it was still SO GOOD. Such good flavor!!! I can't wait to try some of the greek dishes!! We could have easily shared one of the dishes we ordered today and left there satisfied! The portions are quite generous (and this was only 30 minutes before closing!) So, if you're in the area, you REALLY need to try this place!!! AND!!! They serve breakfast ALL DAY! WHAAAAT!?!?! Yup, we've found a new fav!!!

Very deserving of all the good reviews. I got ham and cheese omelet with home fries and it was perfect. Huge bonus for the resonable pricing as well. My son had the French dip sandwich and said it was good as well. The service was top notch and accommodating. Will absolutely be back when in area.

It's what you'd expect from a breakfast joint that caters to the elderly. I had the burger and potato salad. Both were bland, the elderly love bland dishes. The soup on the other hand was quite tasty. I forget which one I had so be careful. Overall if you're hungry and just want sustenance, not a bad place to get it. They do serve Coke, a big mark in the plus column.

Nature & Parks
Robert K Rees Memorial Park is a charming park situated on a 45-acre beachfront. It boasts a delightful 650-ft. boardwalk surrounded by mangroves, providing the perfect setting for picnicking and observing wildlife. The park features benches, picnic tables, and a shelter for visitors to relax and enjoy their time there. Additionally, there is a small playground that is sure to entertain children. The beach at the park has shallow waters, making it ideal for families with young kids.
There’s something special about finding a peaceful spot to unwind after a long day, and Robert K. Rees Memorial Park is just that kind of place. A quaint little escape where you can dip your toes in the water, take in the salty breeze, and catch one of the most breathtaking gulf sunsets. I love stopping by after a day of running around to watch the sun melt into the horizon, the sky painted in shades of gold and pink. Birds glide overhead, mullet leap from the water, and if you’re lucky, you might even spot a dolphin or two. The people here are always smiling, relaxed—some casting a line, others simply soaking in the moment as kids laugh and play nearby. This little slice of paradise is the perfect reminder of why we love the Florida lifestyle. A place to reflect, recharge, and appreciate the beauty right in our own backyard.

This was my wife and I's first date 45 years ago! It was just called Green Key Beach back then! She cut my hair under the dome light of her Plymouth Fury and we smooched some! The rest is history 🥰 Though it has been updated, it holds a special meaning for us! There is sand for lounging and a kids playground. Some nice pavilions and restrooms. It wasn't crowded when we were there.

Nice park if you need a break in nature. It had a small beach and swim area. Lots of mini crabs in an area to the far right on the beach. Bathrooms, picnic pavilions, & a playground available. Entrance & parking is free. Great spot to see sunset!

Awesome small park. Go at high tide. No dogs on main beach. But on the causeway there are pull offs you can sit on the water with your pet. Or launch a small boat. Or bird watch.

Nice peaceful little beach with Pavilions and restrooms close by. It's kid friendly with a netted swimming area and playground for them. Parking is somewhat difficult so come early or during the week isn't that busy. Will definitely be back

My daughter and i love coming to this little beach for sunset, when its low tide. We love walking far out and seeing what kind of sea creatures we can find 🤗🦀🐚🪸🐡🪼🦞🦐🐬 I wouldn't go swimming at this beach, but its nice to walk around..
Erin P — Google review
Quiet place without a lot of people and a small sand shoreline. Has a small restroom, kids playground, and it's free. Not a bad place for a small little party but bit out of the way for most people. A few pavilions with seating available and not a lot of people to fight for space. Not an ideal beach but a free non-cogested quiet spot.

Don't let that picture of the green buildings near the parking lot fool you!! Wander down the wooden walk and find a wonderful hidden gem on the water with a great vibe, live music, and good food! Steamed crabs and crab cakes were wonderful. The service was friendly and attentive.

Seen, heard and finally visited the infamous Cotee River Crab Shack. Awesome little gem that you can visit by boat, golf cart, or car. The one and only complain is there’s too many people that smoke and the so called “family section” where there’s no smoking has no pretty views and the atmosphere kinda stuffy. Now off to the server who was awesome. The food was incredibly delicious and tasty. The onion rings delicious and the dipping sauce was amazing. The Fish & Chips the best I’ve had. The tartar sauce appeared to be homemade and delicious. The burger was tasty as well. The beer ice cold. If you’re looking for a cool Keys type vibe check these guys out.

stopped in for dinner on a Friday evening around 5 PM and were seated right away—major bonus! We had our pup with us and were happy to find the place super dog-friendly. We grabbed one of the picnic tables under their covered patio, which worked out fine, though the seats weren’t the comfiest. A backrest and a higher foot bar would’ve made a big difference—my 5’6” legs were actually dangling! But let’s talk about the real star of the night: the food. Everything we ordered hit the spot, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. The fried pickles were delicious—crispy and flavorful without being overly salty like most places. My husband raved about the calamari—light, crunchy, and not the least bit rubbery (a rare win!). We split an order of wings and fries, and they were chef’s kiss. We went with medium sauce plus sides of ranch and hot. The wings were perfectly crispy outside and juicy inside—just how we like them—and the medium heat was mild enough for my spice-sensitive husband. Even our dog got in on the action and happily munched on some chicken. Another bonus was their dog menu options. Such a surprise. Just as we were wrapping up, the live music kicked off and the band was actually really good. Judging by the folks who showed up just to see them, they definitely have a local following. Next time, we’ll plan to come later—closer to sunset—since the heat was no joke and the fans weren’t quite cutting it.

This place is an absolute gem! Loved it so much!! We pulled up in our boat and found a spot on the dock to escape the thunderstorm and everyone was so welcoming and nice and the service was excellent 👌🏼. Had to try the crab legs and they did not disappoint!! Side salad was HUGE and not even that pricey, shared it with my other half. Wonderful live music from a talented singer preforming hits from mostly yacht rock and oldies but the vibe was amazing. Very attentive and friendly vibe. We even learned the back story of the hurricane that went through and the shark that hangs near the water. We had such a nice afternoon, we are so grateful! Keep up the great work!

Great atmosphere and great service. Went on a Wednesday at 6 pm and was served immediately. Our waitress was a vet tech, forgot her name but so social and nice and always checking on us to make sure we were good. Food was good also, burger was the only alright of the bunch the rest was great and cheap.

Mostly covered, outdoor eating areas along the Cotee River. The food overall is really good, but can be hit or miss. They have live music and good drinks. The river always provides entertainment, boats, dolphin, manatees and so many birds ! It's our new favorite spot for ourselves and to bring guests. They have cozy tables for 2, and tables for large parties as well. Lol , Watch out for the slanted tables... It's really laid-back, and sometimes service is excellent, sometimes not so excellent.. but overall better than many places we've been. The restrooms are just ok.

We had a great time! It was our first time here and our server, Meagan, was very friendly and helpful. The food was very good and they have a good variety of drinks. Really nice river atmosphere. Great live music and a nice breeze off the water. Looking forward to our next visit.

Nestled just outside the bustling Downtown area, Alex's Place is a beloved local gem that has captured the hearts of residents for years. This charming spot boasts a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a long day. Guests rave about their hearty specials, particularly the prime rib, which many consider to be the highlight of the menu. On my recent visit around 7 PM while searching for nearby burger options, I stumbled upon this delightful eatery.
We found this place looking for "burgers" online nearby around 7pm. Darker comfortable atmosphere. The lady Server and Bartender was great managing everyone. It was nice evening place. What a delicious find. I didnt know what to expect, but fantastic 3/4 lbs big burgers (swiss and american cheese) with fries and wonderful potato salad. We also had soup of day which was their own custom wedding soup. Real good.

Without a doubt the worst restaurant in the area, the place is completely run down, dirty and looks like it was furnished with salvation army donations. The toilets were absolutely disgusting with rusted out fittings and stench of sewer gas. The worst part though, Hands down was the food. Firstly this place is supposed to be family friendly yet there is no kids menu, trying to find something to put together for children to eat off their extremely limited menu was a struggle enough, if it had been edible then they would have gained a few points, however a few dried out chicken strips and a handful of fries for $22 is absolutely ridiculous and over twice the price of any other local restaurant's version. The star of the show though was my salted piece of shoe leather that was passed off as a new York strip at an astonishingly overpriced $39!. This was one of the most dissatisfied I have ever been eating a steak, I asked for medium rare, what I got was a completely dried out, tough, overcooked slab of tasteless meat with enough salt on it to dry brine an entire cow. Coupled with only a jacket potato with just a lump of butter and dollop of sour cream It certainly wasn't worth the $38.99 asking price (It still wouldn't be worth it at half this price). Overall a complete and utter failure of an evening, from the cleanliness, lack of timely service and horrendous food I can honestly say the only highlight of the evening was leaving. To anyone thinking of trying this run down restaurant, Don't! Save your money and your stomach and head to one of the much better kept establishments nearby, this place is a hard pass.

We LOVE Alex's Place! It's a nice quaint, quiet atmosphere. Drinks are great & priced very well. The food is amazing & everything is made to order. They are very accommodating to special diets & allergies. Farnaz is the most polite & wonderful server/bartender. No matter how busy they are, her demeanor never changes & she's ALWAYS extremely friendly. Our favorites are the Greek Salad, The Fajitas, The Fried Pork Chops, Baked Potatoes, Home made soups, Chopped Steak, Burgers, the Penne Chicken Pasta (can substitute shrimp - YUM). Just about everything! Mama, Alex, & Farnaz take pride in their work & business.. & we are lucky to have this place right around the corner from our house.

Good food and huge portions at a great price. Friendly staff and family owned/operated. Mostly filled with locals any given night of the week. Like a Florida version of Cheers. Everybody knows everybody. Can't pick a bad item off the menu. Everything is fresh and made to order.

Been living in Newport Richey for 3 years now. Every opportunity I've had to come to this place was when they were closed. I finally got chance to drop in. I am so happy I gave this place a try. The host/bartender is super friendly and her smile is infectious! The Food was amazing (Buffalo Shrimp and ranch) . I will definitely be returning to this place again and more often.

This was our first time dining at Alex Place. This is a relaxed atmosphere with a full bar and dining. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious! We had the daily special which was BBQ Ribs. The portions were huge. With the entre that good, I wished I had saved room to try some dessert. There is always next time. The menu selection is on the small side. But I will take quality over quantity any day.

Fast food restaurant
Burger King, a widely recognized fast-food chain renowned for its flame-grilled burgers, crispy fries, and delectable milkshakes. Customers can conveniently place their orders through the app and collect them in-store. During one visit, a customer noticed an error with their order and politely inquired about it. The manager astoundingly displayed exceptional kindness by not only addressing the issue but also providing an additional drink without hesitation. This truly impressed the customer.
I been hearing quite a bit about how some eateries are making an effort to reduce preservatives in their food and supply customers with healthier options. I heard that Burger King is offering this option to customers and I am sure pleased to say that I am enjoying my Burger King meal even more!
Eleanor L — Google review
It’s sad and sickening that a store manager would be so nasty in serving uncooked onion rings and argue that she put in two small fries when there was one. Very unprofessional and to see through the window how she handle the food and was throwing things, but to serve uncook food and miss food items very disappointed. And at that a Manager with bad attitude! SMH disappointing and sad. $25.65 for nothing… Burger King need to retrain their employees to hospitality and good customer service!

I got lunch for my wife Myself and my son I had a couple things missing from the Order. I called up there and spoke to Brooke. She handled it with no problems. I understand things happen. We’re all human. But the way she Handle it was exactly the way it should’ve been done for that. Thank you. Also, chicken fries were nice and fresh and hot.
Justin K — Google review
I thought if you went to a BK it would be the same everywhere, well today I was proved wrong. I had a whopper JR meal with onion rings as a substitution even though I had several of my friends fries. I have never ever had such a great meal, my friend lives close by and he thought they make from fresh and not frozen. I don't know how but they should never change one thing. Bravo owner, manager, cook, food prep and front counter you are the best at what you do. I will definitely return to confirm and enjoy a great inexpensive meal.
Nick B — Google review
I'm guessing that many Burger King restaurants no longer cook their hamburgers on an open flame anymore. I was told that the grill marks are one the meat when it's delivered to them. Funny to the marks only on one side? Notice you don't see a bunch of smoke coming out anymore when cooking. In either case, the whopper still tastes OK, but it seems the size is getting smaller? Food is ok, prices getting higher, but many times you get coupons in the mail and free food and deals if you download the app.

Came here to pick up an online order. I had to wait 10 minutes before someone even acknowledged my existence as the 2 staff members played google translate with the person in front of me. Finally after multiple failed attempts to work with the the other customer they finally acknowledge me and then with an attitude tell me I will still have to wait. Finally the lady grabs the bag and hands it to me. The food is cold and they forgot to give me the drinks for the order. The incompetence here is insane. No apologies for the wait or even a simple "hello". Worst service ever.

Nature & Parks
Sims Park, a vibrant and beloved urban park, was generously donated by the city's founder, George R. Sims. Nestled along the picturesque Pithlachascotee River, this park offers an array of amenities for visitors to enjoy. From kayaking and paddleboarding on the river to simply relaxing by the water's edge, there are activities for everyone.
I arrived later on in the evening of January 17th. Just in time to hear Jasmine Cain and the other members of her band jam out. Wow this girl not only can dance but she can sing and play that guitar like I never seen a girl do. She is amazing. Great concert. Thank you Jasmine Cain and the members of her band. Great performance!

I usually come here in the afternoons to ride my bike after a day of work. It’s a very quiet and cozy place in the middle of town. It’s friendly, and there’s a surprising number of squirrels—they tend to be very friendly. There aren’t many places to buy food, but it’s a great place to find peace.

Took my grandchildren here to see the native American dancers. This will teach them about other cultures. They really enjoyed it. This is the first time we have gone. Of course, the fair rides were nearby, so we went on some rides. My granddaughter loved the face paint, but it will cost you $20.

A peaceful park that sits basically connected to historic downtown New Port Richey. It's a great park to relax or stroll through after eating or shopping. Plenty of wildlife to view. The park holds various events for all ages and demographics. An amazing place to catch a sunset as well!

This is such a cute park! I love that it's covered! There is a nice small toddler park area too! Lots of seating areas. The little sprinkler pad is so nice to be able to cool down! The bathrooms are close by and clean! Easy walk down to the water to watch some boats and then a quick walk to get some ice cream!

We’ve been going to Sims since before they were a year old! It’s only a few minutes from where we live which makes it very convenient! There’s so much to do here, the playground has a bunch of different activities for all ages, it’s very interactive. There’s a smaller playground for the little ones and big playground that’s really for all ages, tons of swings to choose from, a water park/splash pad, and it’s right on main so you can hit up Mountaineer for some coffee or one of the two ice cream shops, there’s a pizza place with a bar that lets you take alcohol to go which is awesome for parents haha. There’s a walking trail where you can walk on he bridge to look at the lake or near the boat ramp to look at the river and other scenery, ducks are all over the place and the kids love it! We still take them here all the time. They have many different events here, parades, Chasco Fiesta which is coming up, motorcycle events, etc etc. which a lot of vendors set up and sell some cool stuff, there’s food trucks and bouncy houses. It’s really fun and I advise you to look up some of the events which I believe is posted on the sims park website or maybe downtown new port Richey website, if you just type it into Google or Facebook you’ll see! It gets crowded here on weekends and after school gets out but that’s to be expected. There is public bathrooms and water fountains as well! Love it here!

Herschel's Scratch Kitchen is a cozy restaurant located in New Port Richey, FL, offering casual American comfort food with a Southern twist. Known for its European Brasserie and American flair, this spot has quickly become a go-to breakfast place. The menu features staples like eggs Benedict and build-your-own grits skillet. Their fried green tomatoes showcase their embrace of Southern cooking style. With patio seating available, Herschel's serves breakfast and lunch all day.
Great service, but better stuffed French Toast! The cream stuffed stuff was delicious, not too sweet. Strawberries were plentiful and fresh, not white, red & juicy. Nice presentation, too! Our adorable server deserves a shout-out, but I didn't catch her name. Sorry, sweet pea. Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 1:00 pm. I remember because it was a work lunch. Keep it local, folks. Small businesses need our $$ more than large corps! Ciao for now ♡♡ I said, "Burn the BACON" and someone finally did. Bravo, bacon-burner.

Food was excellent, service was great and the music was current and upbeat. Food took a bit to come out but it was well worth the wait. We ordered the peanut butter French toast and the stuffed French toast. Both were fantastic.

What a fun little indoor and outdoor patio restaurant! Went Sunday for a birthday breakfast/lunch. So good. The shrimp and grits are so flavorful and seriously wished I had ordered that instead! But I tried it and so amazing! I ordered the Big Dawg D and it was eggs, corn beef hash, toast, and grits or potatoes got a side of bacon! The bacon is so crispy. Staff was very friendly not sure of our servers name but she was very nice. Food takes a little while during busy times!
M K — Google review
Not a great experience. The food was okay. I could tell the wait staff was irritated and hot, not in the mood to serve. We came at the end of a rush and it seemed like we got the leftovers. The ladies’ bathroom was out of toilet paper, which we told our waitress. We asked about specials she said there were none. But later we overheard another waitress giving the specials. When we heard it, we told that waitress she should let our waitress know because it doesn’t seem like she does. After that our waitress came back to the table arguing that we asked about Father’s Day specials not specials. Okay well today is father’s day and we didn’t know we needed to specify today’s specials instead of Father’s Day specials. It was clear she had no concern of our experience or resolving the issue. She’d rather argue and be right. Peace out. Although she did wish my husband a happy Father’s Day, her overall demeanor was unpleasant. She seemed galled when I asked what fruit was included in the side of fruit. As if it wasn’t a normal question to want to know what fruit is included. I have family members that have food allergies and it’s an important question. We ordered several courses so that we could all taste them. Because that’s what our family enjoys. Out of the 3 Benedict dishes we ordered, 2 of the poached eggs were hard and there was a minimum amount of hollandaise sauce. It was extremely hot and we were sitting outside because there were no more seats left inside, which was fine. Our waitress gave us a pitcher of water for our table of 5 which we emptied quickly. She never refilled our water until after our food was brought out because I handed her the empty pitcher to make room for all the plates. Instead of refilling the pitcher she brought me a cup of water. No one else got refills the duration of our meal. The food took a long time to come out. We came for Father's Day because my husband loves brunch. The waitress was cranky and probably because it was so hot. When the check arrived we were charged for substituting tomatoes and caramelized onions for onions and green peppers on one of the omelets. We have heard such good things about this place it’s disappointing that this was our first experience. Because I can’t say I want to come back and do it again. Definitely not outside dining and definitely not for brunch.

Ate lunch here on a Saturday about 1pm. Had a decent number of tables filled up both inside and outside. We had a Greek salad and the chicken Caesar wrap with fries. Both really tasty. It's a Pepsi place, the only negative. Lot of good looking items on the menu, including breakfast served til 3pm. Will def go back next time in NPR

The shrimp and grits were fantastic. The breeze on the out door patio was beautiful this morning. Service was outstanding! Our server Gary was very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed his calm demeanor. He reminded us of the actor Billy Murray in the movie Stripes. We will be back soon!

This place has the real deal about the food. No doubts, however the meal is somewhat slower to be served. We come here several times every month, and my hubby always orders the Reuben sandwich that he dies for, and I have tried a few items from the menu and all is excellent. Today we had a special menu that the server was very knowledgeable about.

Very eloquently designed in Asian flare. The food was exquisite and would not disappoint. The Thai sweet coffee was so good it didn't last long, gone before any apps arrived.

Pleasantly surprised by the wonderful flavor in such a modest spot! Very traditional atmosphere, and great variety in the menu. The flavors were definitely present and not overwhelming. Great spot for someone trying Thai food for the first time. The meat was fresh, the ingredients were delectable, and the desserts were outstanding. My only concern is how early they close, but it seems to be the trend in the area since not too many people eat out late. If they stayed open till 10, I would eat there more often and so would many people that I know enjoy Asian cuisine.

Nature & Parks
James E. Grey Preserve is an 80-acre riverfront sanctuary located just upstream from downtown New Port Richey, offering a wild and natural experience amidst residential developments. The preserve features two miles of trails, a playground, and a captivating boardwalk that stretches for over a mile along the meandering Pithlachascotee River. It's an ideal spot for birdwatching and observing wildlife in its natural habitat.
First off, and the reason I am rating the park today (sing along in your best Snoopy Voice) No Dogs Allowed. Anywhere, on or off the trails. This is not because NPR doesn't love your dogs, but it is because the Gopher Tortoises that call the park home, do not. Of course, your dog is respectful and won't spook the federally protected tortoises, but other dogs might, so there it is. That being said, the preserve is a jewel. The trails are a mix of boardwalk and gravel and wind through the preserve with great views of the river. Tons of squirrels who behave as they are fed regularly by folks who go there, you can see gopher tortoises and there are rumors that manatee and dolphins can be seen in the river sometimes? It is pretty quiet there too. Enjoy
Tra H — Google review
It's nice. Has a playground, restrooms, you could technically use a stroller on the paved path that goes into the boardwalk that leads to the bridge, fishing per and some dirt trails. You can see where the boardwalk needs replacements. They have marked out areas. However, it's condition isn't great compared to other parks, maybe a funding thing. Be that as it may, it's still nice and enjoyable. We seen a mother Manatee with 2 pups. We seen BIG fish jumping but us and others didn't catch anything. Not sure if the fish their have acquired a taste for particular bait or just were not biting. At the beginning of the park you come to the circle where it has a pavilion, a little library, the fishing/boat dock and path/trail entrance/exit. Nibbles, jumping and splashes of BIG fish but no catches. Small but nice. We were the only ones their. If you go further it leads into the dead end parking of the playground, shelters, restroom and paved trail opening. That's where it seemed everyone was today, the playground but great for us who was using the trails. Small, but nice for an afternoon stop. Might need more funding to fix up the boardwalk that leads to the bridge and pier. Clean otherwise and peaceful.

I have to say it was as if I was eating in Italy. Thank you so much for the amazing dinner. You will see me again real soon.

Searched for a new Italian place after moving. First impression is that the main foods were good! Getting seated was quick for a Saturday evening. After we were seated we waited a substantial amount of time before the server acknowledged us. When she did she took drink and food orders at the same time. We ordered a glass of wine and two soft drinks which were brought back quickly. Bread prior to entree was topped with sesame seeds..wasn’t my favorite but was served nice and warm. Side salad with Italian dressing was very herbal oil but lacked some flavor. Entrees were spaghetti parm, baked ziti, and a cheese pizza. All portions were huge! My son said the pizza wasn’t the most flavorful but the ziti and chicken parm were very good! Pasta sauce was a little on the salty side for me but overall I believe we will be back to try more.

A hole in the wall Italian restaurant, I am extremely impressed. How delicious the food was. It was my first time Saturday night. I don't recommend the calamari, but everything else was so delicious.

First time at Rossi's. Mrs. had Eggplant with spaghetti, house dinner salad, and I chose the Stromboli. She enjoyed her salad and Eggplant Parm. My Stromboli was the size of the plate, cooked perfectly and very satisfying. The flavors were good but, I enjoy cheese but it was over the top full of melted cheese. So much so I had to remove a third of it. For cheese lovers this is heaven! Although too much for me, some would say there is not enough! Good service, good prices, good food!

The first time we came the food was really good. We tried the pizza which was really good. The second time there we brought several people with us and it didn't turn out so well. The pizza had a inch of grease on the top of it. The meatball sub was very dry and the bread was very hard. Portion size was really good for lunch and the garlic rolls are okay. The pasta was good but not great.

Angie's Pizza is a humble, family-owned pizzeria with a simple ordering counter and unremarkable seating arrangements. Situated near the bustling Cotee Brewery, caution must be exercised while crossing the traffic-laden street. Their medium-sized Supreme pizza, generously topped with numerous ingredients, proved to be ample sustenance for two individuals, even leaving behind leftovers. Notably, the owner personally delivered pizzas to tables within the brewpub.
We heard that there were new owners at Angie's Pizza so we tried them out tonight. Not only was the customer service excellent, but everything was delicious! The Grandma's Pizza that we ordered was especially amazing . We also got the white pizza, spaghetti with sausage and garlic knots. Everything was on point. We will definitely be back!

This is definitely a mom and pop pizza joint. No frills, just a counter to order your pizza and several nondescript tables and chairs. It was right across the street from the Cotee Brewery where we were sampling some very good brews. Lots of traffic on the street so be careful crossing. We ordered their medium Supreme and it was enough to feed two of us with leftovers. The pizza owner actually delivered our pizzas to our table in the brewpub. Lots of toppings. Very tasty pizza.

Cristiano is the new owner of the newly renovated and named Cristiano"s Cornerstone Pizza & Pasta .! From true old world Italian recipes from the sauces to the pastas..! The pizza"s are made your way.! A must try that others have tried to imitate & Say that that created the Cristiano"s famous Grandma Pizza !!

Pizza was okay. I got the buffalo chicken pizza and bacon ranch chicken pizza. The only complaint i have was that the buffalo pizza had too much buffalo sauce which made the pizza nearly inedible. I had to Dab off the extra sauce to eat it. The owner wanted to charge 75 cents for a small cup of ranch even after spending $18 there. I don't know why it couldn't have been spared.

I ordered the Margarita Pizza. I would get extra cheese because I did by mistake and I'm glad I did. It's more of a thin crust but not too thin. I was honestly the right amount for me. The crust was cooked perfectly. Normally I don't eat crust but it was light with just enough crisp to it. I'll definitely order from here again

Average Florida Pizza definitely not New York Pizza, what pizza shop/ Italian restaurant with Sicilian pies on their menu on a Friday night doesn't have a sicilian pie ridiculous,so as not to make it a waste of time I ordered a large pie, extra cheese, mushrooms and sausage. Mistake when I was told they had no Sicilian slices or pies I should have just left.

Pizza restaurant
Leaning Tower of Pizza is a cozy local establishment known for its New York-style pizzas and extensive selection of Italian cuisine and craft brews. This neighborhood restaurant offers both dine-in and take-out options, allowing customers to enjoy the warm and comfortable atmosphere at their convenience. It has become a popular spot for lunchtime visits, attracting a diverse range of patrons such as healthcare workers and local police. With its inviting ambiance, Leaning Tower of Pizza provides a special sense of comfort that appeals to all.
Been craving pizza for 3 weeks, bye to the area and this company kept popping up in my search! I knew when I pulled into the parking lot I was in the right place, I smelled the food! Atmosphere is cozy, staff is friendly, pizza is DELICIOUS! I ordered the 14” Special and asked to have my dough and crust baked special, it was PERFECT!
Lady L — Google review
The pizza was good but since it’s thin it’s not very filling. We ordered a large for 3 people, which is the largest size for a regular pizza. We were able to finish it. The wings were okay, there wasn’t any thing special or bad about them.
Paulina P — Google review
We had such a great experience at Leaning Tower Pizza in New Port Richey! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome with friendly service and genuine hospitality. The atmosphere is warm, casual, and perfect whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a sit-down meal with family and friends. The food is absolutely outstanding. The pizza was baked to perfection a crispy, flavorful crust with just the right amount of chew, kinda sweet in flavor and topped with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every bite was delicious, and you can really taste the care that goes into their recipes. Beyond the pizza, the menu offers plenty of great options, all made fresh and served hot. The Garlic knots were AMAZING and some of the best we’ve ever had. What really stood out was the combination of excellent food, quick service, and the inviting atmosphere which is dated but very inviting It’s clear the team takes pride in what they do, and it makes the whole dining experience memorable. If you’re in New Port Richey and craving great pizza and the best garlic knots with even better service, I highly recommend stopping by Leaning Tower Pizza. It’s a local gem that I’ll definitely be visiting again!

I don’t know who is working tonight but man this food is excellent!!! And, my salad looks so good. The Sicilian is about the best!!
Peggy K — Google review
Good "special" pizza, very fresh veggies. I liked the crust. It is not thick at all, but not too thin. Not a fan of the breaded mushrooms. Breading not seasoned well. Mushrooms were fresh though. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice small dining area with booths and some tables. Also a bar to sit at. It's at the end of a small strip mall.
Sa G — Google review
We have been going here for 15 years and this is how they repay us. First, when we order the "largest pizza you have", we mean the Sicilian, and sometimes they clarify, other times they don't, but we've always received what we want with no issue. Well, today we did not, and instead of owning up to the mistake and offering to fix it, the person who took our order argued with us saying we should have specified because the large and Sicilian are "both 16 inches". Yet, as we all know, a Sicilian pizza is considerably larger as it is thicker and square, and if you know you have large pizzas of varying sizes, it is your job to clarify for the customer (dont you want to make more money anyway?). Nevertheless, we asked them to make us the correct pizza and had to wait 45 minutes for a new one. The least they could have done was let us keep the original since they'd have to toss it anyway, but not only did they take it back, they then tried to charge us the difference in price! When we asked if that was necessary with all of the inconvenience, we were told "I'm not the manager". When we asked for the manager, and he was brought over asking how he could help, the person then said "nothing they have their Sicilian". And now, on top of it all, I get a good look at this pizza and it is burnt to all hell, and it is not even sliced properly! It feels spiteful, to be honest. I am disgusted with the service and food I've received today and the only reason I have given more than 1 star today is because of our great experiences in the past. Sadly, this may just be the last time we go, it's not worth such trouble.
Melissa D — Google review
Sicilian special pizza, gluten-free with mushrooms, and parmesian garlic wings for take out. It was a lot of food, so there will be left overs for about a week. Great toppings on the pizza pie, and the wings were crispy but not overdone. Leave a decent tip on the next stop here and thank God for Italians.

Have wanted to try the pizza for years and finally went today. Pizza had absolutely no flavor! So disappointing! Came home and added a ton of seasonings and parm cheese which helped but we won’t be going back. 😢

The story of Adapt Freshness is one of resilience and creativity, born from the challenges posed by COVID-19. When Michael and his partner Danielle found themselves at a crossroads, they took a bold step to open their own storefront in New Port Richey, Florida. With vibrant acai purple walls as their backdrop, they set out to create healthy and affordable bowls and smoothies that are simply delicious. Visitors rave about the generous portions offered at Adapt Freshness.
Adapt Freshness is so amazing! We enjoyed the original avocado toast, the jalapeño cream cheese, pickled onions, and bean sprouts were the perfect trifecta! I loved my Pitaya smoothie, so refreshing, delicious dragon fruit, pineapple and coconut milk. I’m looking forward to trying more menu items. Also, they have great prices! 🥥🍍🥑🍓🫐🍉

I was passing through NPR and had some time to kill before a meeting across the street. I decided to grab something to hold me over since it was noon and I hadn’t eaten anything . I had a few choices in the area and decided something fresh and easy on the body. Walked into Adapt Freshness and ordered the Protein-n-Greens smoothie. Very fresh, earthy, light, with a hint of sweetness. The lady who prepared it for me was very friendly and nice. The place itself, simple and clean. If I’m ever up here again, the smoothie I’m eyeing is the Sourfruit Smoothie. Cheers!

I gave this place a try because Downtown Nutrition was closed. 16oz smoothie ranging between 7-8$. Kind of pricey, but if the smoothies were good, it’d be worth it. They were not good. We had the Tropical Protein and Adapt Joy. The best way I could describe them would be to say they were watery and tasteless. Maybe too much coconut milk to fruit ratio? Too much ice? Not sure exactly their method but for 8$ I expect something of higher quality. Also, waiting about 15 minutes for the two smoothies. While I understand they had an order ahead of me- I see no reason why my smoothie sat in a blender waiting to be blended while another order was taken.

Today was my first time ordering the bone broth from Adapt Freshness. It tasted delicious and is a generous portion for the price. I also ordered an Adapt Joy smoothie (which is also delicious, but is in the break room fridge for later). Everything was made extremely fast and I was even given a drink holder to help with carrying my order back to work since I was walking. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant is great. Bright colors and decor and awesome music. So glad to have a healthy restaurant nearby!

I found Adapt Freshness while searching for healthy breakfast takeout near me. I wish I had come here sooner! I ordered the protein-n-greens smoothie. Don’t let the greens intimidate you because it is the best tasting way to get your daily servings in! Prices are reasonable and the servings are generous. I look forward to returning to try other options on the menu. Thank you!

Nestled in the heart of downtown New Port Richey, Heros Downtown Subs & Salads is a delightful addition to the local dining scene. Opened by John Beebe, a retired fireman with over three decades of service, this charming eatery has quickly become a go-to spot for those craving hearty sandwiches and fresh salads. Despite opening during challenging times in February 2020, Heros has thrived thanks to its commitment to quality and community spirit.
Let’s start with Tiffany…great help at the order counter. Having been our first time in she was very helpful. Then comes the Turk the sandwich guy! Wow what a masterpiece of sandwiches he made not to mention how delicious, flavorful and well put together they were. The potato salad was incredible. We will definitely be back again.
Jay C — Google review
Great sandwich place that’s worth your time. I came in and ordered the corned beef Reuben, which is a new sandwich as of writing this review. Got it with potato salad and a drink for a decent price of around $12. The sandwich was incredibly delicious and they slice the meat fresh. The potato salad was also very good and my drink was chilled and delicious. My only few criticisms are their hours and the atmosphere. If they were open for at least 2 hours longer I would visit more often. Also the lobby would really benefit from some background music. Overall highly recommend.

Best sub I've ever had. Better than a Publix sub!! The bread was perfectly soft. The meats and cheese are the best quality. I had vinegar on my sub which was also amazing. This place exceeded my expectations with their food and customer service. I will now be getting all of my subs from here! If you haven't tried this place yet you are missing out!

Stopped in for lunch. It’s a nice little Mom and Pop shop and the staff was very nice and made sure I had everything I needed. I had the 187 and it was alright. I like sandwiches that have big flavors and was hoping to get that out of their homemade toppings for this sandwich but it was lackluster. Am interested in trying something with their mojo pork next time I am in town.

Anclote Key Preserve State Park is a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts and beach lovers. This 4-mile barrier island, located off the coast of Tarpon Springs, offers pristine white-sand beaches perfect for activities like swimming, snorkeling, and shelling. The park features nature trails that wind through mangroves and beach dunes, providing opportunities to observe diverse wildlife such as ospreys, bald eagles, pelicans, dolphins, herons, and manatees.
Camping here for the night was such a treat! The sites are far apart and great for a little privacy while you enjoy time with family or friends. The nature and wildlife is beautiful eith wonderful trails and even a suspension bridge to explore. We saw alligators and all kinds of amazing plants. They do have canoes and kayaks for rent as well! Clean showers and a washer and dryer if you need it. Great stay, very fun for my whole family and very affordable for a primitive campground.

Beautiful beach! It was part of a tour out of Tarpon Springs. Spent 30 minutes on the beach and combed for shells. The water is beautiful and warm (72°F). Highly recommend the tour (Spongeorama) it is a boat ride from the spongedocks to the island. You see wildlife and the captain and crew guy are funny and very knowledgeable about the local history. I will def. Be returning to do this again!

Anclote is a beautiful island to take your family for a picnic, or just a walk on the beach. There is easy access to pull a boat rite up to the beach. all along the Gulf side and on the north and south ends. There is also a ferry boat that brings people to the south end. I hear it is very affordable. It's definitely a must if you live around the area. There is also great fishing around the island.
Capt. M — Google review
Beautiful north cost with plenty of room to anchor boats without being more than 30 feet from sandy Beach. Typically a calm area without too much of the rowdy boat crowd.
Fostering O — Google review
I must have come to this place at least a dozen times with family and friends. Having a boat definitely makes it much easier to frequent this place and enjoy the multiple things there is to do in this place. Our first trip we had a nice picnic right on one of the sandy beaches and then went walking the trails. Another time we went around the island on our sailboat until we found a nice spot to stop for a nice lunch and siesta on a hammock. We loved this place so much that we wanted to try the primitive camping. Camping turn in to a true adventure as we picked the wrong time (just before a cold front rolled in) however it remains one very memorable occasions we have gone through as a family. Definitely one of my favorite spots in this area.

Eagle Point Park is a serene conservation area that offers various recreational activities. It features fishing docks, creeks suitable for canoeing, a fitness trail, and a playground. The park attracts visitors who enjoy fishing due to the strong current and abundance of fish. However, the area tends to accumulate litter left behind by frequent patrons. The park also serves as an excellent spot for scouting redfish or snook.
Tranquil getaway from all the noise in town, tucked and hidden away is a beautiful waterfront park full of nature and wonder. There’s a playground which seems fairly new, a workout area which my kids also thought was playground equipment which is fine, they had a lot of fun! There’s several piers, kayak launches/docks and a little trail surrounded by gorgeous scenery. Picnic areas to rest, pet friendly, you can easily get swept away and spend hours here. Never that busy, plenty of parking, I recommend bringing bug spray though especially if you come closer to sunset. Overall my twins loved it here, don’t let the size of this park fool you, there’s plenty to do to keep you and your family occupied and happy!

This is a fantastic park to experience a slice of untouched nature. It is a smaller park but perfect for water fun. With multiple piers to fish from, a kayak ramp, and a great playground, you could easily spend the whole day out here. Parking is limited and there is parking for vehicles with a trailer. The parking lot is one big circle.

Meadows Dog Park in New Port Richey is a great spot for travelers with furry companions. The park features an impressive play area for kids and adults, as well as an agility training area for dogs. Although the dog water fountain was not functional, visitors appreciated the overall beauty of the new park. Additionally, it offers amenities such as pickleball courts, basketball courts, and a children's playground.
Grass for your fur babies. Excellent fenced area for small dogs and large dogs. Pickleball/tennis Courts. And a playground for the kiddos. Picnic area and a walking path.

The dog park was great. Pro: 1 side for small dogs 1 side for larger dogs, Con: does not a a middle section for all sizes. Pros: Has shaded and sun areas water is supplied and poop bags and trash can.has play/exercise equiptment We really.like that the playground was close enough to waychn our kids while in the dog pen, has restroom, shades bench seats Con: the boys in the basketball court use very loud profound language.
Nichole T — Google review
Nice little park in the neighborhood. I like that it is separated for small and large dogs. Only one bench and two training things for the dog in the shade. Also I didn't like the sand. It gets in the dogs coat and is a pain to clean.
Kariane P — Google review
I love this place and so does my dog! They have so much fun! It has lots of agility things and a separate side for large and small dogs. Plus poop bags and water although don’t allow your dog to drink from the fountain itself because of the bacteria that is spreading with the respiratory infection. It’s pretty well kept and has bathrooms, playgrounds, picnic areas and pickleball courts.
Julie T — Google review
Surprisingly a great park for my pooch. He had a great time playing with all the dogs. I like all the equipment to play on, and when there's not so many dogs I think he would play on the ramps and rings and such. Well maintained. Definitely going again.

They did an amazing job renovating this park. I wish they still had a hose and baby pool tho. My dog is old. Chased the ball 3 times, then liked to lay in the pool. Lol. Heads up. It’s HOT. Next to no shade on the large dog side.
Robin K — Google review
Recently $1+ million renovation. The big dog area can use another dog fountain at the opposite end. It can also use another shade area. The parking lot should have been expanded during renovation. Otherwise, it's a great place. Has a kiddie play area, pickleball basketball courts. Also, public bathroom and picnic table under shade pavilion.

NOT JUST A DOG PARK🙏 So cute and convenient. It's nice to have a park closer to us over here cuz we didn't have any located near us. The downside is the GPS cannot give you accurate directions to get their it brings you into a closed neighborhood. Best way is to take the path off of Cecilia and School rd. I love how it has a dog park, pickleball court, basketball and a children's park I absolutely am so excited

Definitely a hidden gem and top 5 park for me, personally. Clean playground, slides that slide ans completely shaded and maintained. Very impressed w the maintenance of this location! Right by the water, so plenty of fresh air and cool breezes.

Definitely my favorite park in New Port Richey, the playground is huge with so many activities to do, various type of swings, different climbing structures, and it’s very well maintained and kept clean. The natural shade from the trees is something that I really love about this park, most parks just have artificial canopies these days that don’t do it justice. The nature really brings this park alive and gives it its spark! There’s public bathrooms that are decently clean compared to other parks, basketball courts, a trail, a dock where people fish and launch their kayaks or little boats, although it’s small, it has a beautiful view which makes up for its size. Theres also these rocks for people to climb on and we really lived that part, great for pictures! There’s a little library to donate and take books, we always keep extra books and brand new journals in our cars to donate to these every time and only take what we actually will read or use. This gem of a park is tucked away from the general public and is never too busy, and even when it is a little busy the landscape is huge so there’s enough space spread out for people to have plenty to do and be mindful of one another. My kids and I really love it here and have already been back numerous times! I would recommend this for families and anyone who enjoys nature!

Frances Avenue park is a wonderful recreational spot that offers something for everyone. The park features a big shaded playground that is perfect for children of all ages. The playground is well-maintained and features a range of equipment, from swings to slides to climbing structures. Parents can relax and watch their children play in the shade, and the park's clean restrooms make it easy to stay for an extended period of time. One of the best features of Frances Avenue park is the ample parking available. There is plenty of space to park your car, which is especially convenient for families with young children or those with mobility issues. The park also has several picnic shelters with grills, making it a great spot for outdoor gatherings and barbecues. The shelters are well-maintained and provide plenty of shade and protection from the elements. Additionally, the park features a small basketball court, which is perfect for those looking to get some exercise or shoot some hoops with friends. The court is in good condition and provides a fun and safe environment for basketball enthusiasts. Overall, Frances Avenue park is an excellent recreational spot that offers a range of activities for people of all ages. Its big shaded playground, clean restrooms, ample parking, picnic shelters with grills, and small basketball court make it a great place to spend a day outdoors with family and friends.

Great park for children although it did need some maintenance. Lots of fun things for the kids to play on and space to run and roam. It is one of our favorite places to take our toddlers!

Great little park that’s usually not very packed during the week. Weekend obviously a little busier but still not bad. Nice little dock to fish off of in the back side rite on the river.

Nice park. Close to water but not so close you have to worry about kids getting too close. 2 Covered picnic areas. Best part is it is completely shaded! Bathrooms available. Wish they had more benches near playground, only 2

Located along Congress Street, SpinNations Family Skating & Event Center is the largest hardwood skating facility in Florida, offering around 30,000 square feet of skating fun. The center provides skating lessons for all ages and hosts special themed events, private parties, and charity events. They also offer family packages that include skate rentals and food and drinks to encourage family outings.
This place is awesome!! Classic roller rink. Price was right especially for 3hrs of skate time. You can rent skates or bring your own (they have quads and inline). Theres a snack station and a small arcade with prizes to win. Exactly as I remember roller rinks when I was a kid, even down to the pattern on the carpet. Super happy we came in tonight! Thanks for being here Spin Nations! We will be back!!

Went for the 1st time with my 11 and 12 year old. It's your basic rink. Everyone was cordial. The cashier was very welcoming. The lockers weren't working and the pro shop was kinda bad lol but the music was good, there weren't too many people there, and the price was fantastic!! Mondays $3 from 7p-9p. Can't beat that anywhere!

We have gone here twice and my kids love it. Unfortunately the music depends on who is working that day I guess. The last time we went was an “all ages” night and they were playing filthy club music. My kids keep asking to go back but I wish they would clean up the playlist and make it more family friendly. If they did that we’d be there every week

This place is awesome. Everyone that works here is very chill and the the whole place has that 90's vibe. My wife and I will definitely be coming here more often. If you want a great place to just skate and have fun with a great group of people. This is the place for you.

Went old school skate. We had so much fun. Was a great atmosphere, They played awesome music, Crowd was all ages. . Rink is bright, very clean. Staff is amazing, professional and present. This was our second visit to Spin Nations in Port Richey. Honestly, we weren’t impressed the first time, but we decided to give it another shot on a regular night instead of adult night. Big mistake. The heat inside was absolutely miserable. While skating it was barely tolerable, but the moment you stopped to take a break the air was stagnant, suffocating, and downright sickening. We ended up feeling overheated and nauseous. The music was just as disappointing. It was supposed to be 90s–2010s from 8–11, but by around 9:30 the playlist had already restarted. For what we paid for two people to skate, we expected at least basic comfort and decent entertainment. Instead, it felt like a complete rip-off for the quality of service. Very unhappy and don’t plan to come back.

I am happy they offer the little pusher for beginner skaters! My son used that and it did help him have a great time, even though he is not very good at skating, yet! This is the first time I have ever been to this place, I went today (Saturday) and was pleased with how the older kids were attentive to the little ones who were having problems, they did not run into the littles and were respectable of space for the beginners. That is something that is great to encounter. The place itself was not very busy, we got there about 3pm; I am worried about going during busy times, that is why we went int he day time. We got a personal cheese pizza and it was great! I need to look into getting my son some real lessons, I think they may offer it. That will happen for next time, if so! I would like him to enjoy his time without a "Trainer" pusher thing, but glad they have that to offer! Price is decent on the skate rental and trainer and all employees were very nice and accommodating, as they should be! Will come back soon!

Great place to skate. Music could be better, and snack bar needs help. There's cash only drink machines and a water fountain for when no one opens the cafe. Friendly staff. Parking lot is rough.

If you're on the hunt for a taco paradise, look no further than Juan-A-Taco Taco's & More Food Truck! Nestled on Nebraska Avenue, this cozy spot is a must-visit for taco enthusiasts. With an inviting atmosphere and friendly service, you can indulge in fresh tacos made from ingredients that taste like they were just picked from the garden. The veggie tacos drizzled with raspberry vinaigrette are a standout favorite among regulars, while the shrimp tacos consistently impress with their flavor.
Again an incredible experience!!! The guacamole is always exceptional and the chips are sooo good !!! We got the shrimp tacos and they never disappoint!!! Great service, great environment, very very clean and a great spot on Main st NPR. Y’all gotta come check out this great lil restaurant!!!

Great tacos! Nice, pleasant atmosphere inside and the outdoor patio is perfect on these pleasant January nights. The presentation of the food was top notch. Excellent service. Good prices. Flavorful and fresh.

First time I have been here and never again. I came here because I have heard such great things from my mom and her hubby. But the service was poor, like the waitress heard every other word and got half the order wrong even though we repeated multiple times. And the food was just, well it didn't have that flavor that you would expect. Like the meat tasted like water, the chicken was disgusting, the refried beans didn't taste right, and the rice was over cooked. To like this food you would literally have to be drunk and hungry. Other than that then I'm not sure. The presentation of the food itself was amazing, but the flavor to go along with the presentation was not there at all.

I am still in this very small, cozy restaurant. Probably the best tacos I've ever had. All the ingredients were so fresh I swear they grow them on the roof. The server was perfect, attentive without being in your way. If your like me and always trying to eat local, and you like taco's, this has got to be on your radar! Keep up the good work, and I'll be back soon.

We ordered steak tacos and beef tacos. The food was above average, though the steak was a little tough. We felt the price was a bit excessive for what we got though. The staff was courteous and kind, so no major issues with them. We just felt the quality didn't quite match the prices.

Great environment & location, amazingly fresh veggies and such nice owners. I'm a HUGE fan of the veggie taco's with raspberry vinaigrette and literally have never been disappointed after eating them. Fast food restaurant
Taco Bell is a quick-service restaurant that offers Mexican-influenced cuisine like tacos, quesadillas, and nachos. This fast food chain provides a variety of menu options featuring flavors inspired by Mexico. Customers can enjoy delicious items such as folded tortillas with fillings, savory grilled cheese-filled tortillas, and crispy corn chips topped with melted cheese and other toppings.
Stopped quick on a break mid afternoon. The restaurant was clean and well kept. It was a difficult choice between chicken or tacos, but I went with Taco Bell. The staff was very friendly and took my order quickly and it was ready before I even filled my Brisk Ice Tea. What a great place to visit.

So I placed a delivery order as my car was totaled. Food was delivered fast with great service from my uber driver but all of my crunchy tacos were soft and the person they were for does not like them soft and won’t eat them. I ordered thru Instacart as I had a $10 food voucher there. Instacart would not refund or do anything. So I called the store and spoke to the manager on duty not the GM, her name was Diana, who before apologizing made the excuse that it doesn’t show on their order screen as crunchy. Yet it’s on my receipt that was taped to the bag!!?? As an old general manager myself of a restaurant with a drive thru, I questioned why my order wasn’t checked for accuracy since it’s correct on the receipt and you tapped it to the bag so someone saw that they should’ve been crunchy. Her response was “we don’t do that here”. So the manager Diana states that they do not check your order before they give it to you!! I again questioned well don’t you think you should start doing this as to avoid future issues? She said it’s not protocol, but she will tell the General manager my suggestion. I am just floored by this comment and the audacity of how little this manager actually cared about the problem, nor about fixing the problem; let alone not caring about adjusting future issues! Sorry Diana that you feel you need your general managers permission to check orders for accuracy on YOUR shift! The only thing she offered to me was for me call Uber about the issue. I actually had to ask her, if she could just put my name down in a book that most restaurants have to replace messed up orders and just write that I need 4 crunchy tacos. I again was told they don’t do this but I can write her name down on my receipt. So you’re telling me, you keep no records in store? I can just write a managers name on my receipt regardless of anything was actually wrong and you’ll just give me free food?!?! I’m sorry Taco Bell, but this manager does not care about customer satisfaction or running her shift properly and accurately for your customers or your company name! This was the worst service I’ve ever received at this location in over 10 years!!!

We paid over $20 for our food to look like this!!!! If you don’t like doing your job, you should definitely leave cuz this isn’t good customer service at all! I will be calling corporate tomorrow to let them know who these people are that work for them! Definitely not cool at all!

Poor products. Bad food . Dry pot pie, dough not over the container. Ordered crispy chicken, but not sure if it was regular or just sat a long time and got soggy and greasy. Go elsewhere.

Attention to details is lacking. Just got home after ordering big beef burrito with a soft shell supreme taco with pepsi zero. Burrito is NOT a big beef. Actually there is No Beef in this. You gave me a hard shell taco instead of soft and the soda is flat. So all around not good experience at all. Plus no receipt in the bag. Just disappointing 👎

Got 2 of the boxes one exactly how it came, and then the other with all steak as the meat. The trainee was getting it right but the other lady said she was doing it wrong and put it all as steak so when I got the food and everything is steak of course I’m gonna go up and have it fixed. I did not ask for steak. Tell me why it took 3 times (1 time it was her only giving me 2 items back instead of the 3??) just for the other lady to comprehend the fact of me saying I didn’t want steak on these ones instead of just remaking them all again with steak?? After the first time she had me bring everything I ordered back up for her to throw out and remake everything and I was so confused but when I got it back it was exactly how it was messed up before?? I don’t know what the point of that was. I figured it would be harder to get an order right that has customizations not just how it comes but I guess not. I was trying to be understanding to the lady because yeah people make mistakes but when she starts being rude as if it is my fault, you cannot expect me to stay that way. The trainee kept apologizing and I felt bad because she felt that it was on her when she was the one who had it right.
Tina H — Google review
Whole order was wrong and the food was disgusting. Ordered no onions and got onions, tomato’s cross contaminated in my food (I’m allergic), no sauce on my chalupa, my cheesy rollups had little to no cheese in them, I ordered a side of creamy jalapeño and they gave me the chipotle, and the mac n cheese was burnt and tasted like plastic. I’m not one to complain or throw food away but I did both.
Colleen O — Google review
This is the 4th time I came here and they under portion the food and gave us old cold food. The fiesta potatoes has always been cold dried up and stale. The chicken quesadilla has a little bit of chicken in the 2 middle pieces but the 2 outside pieces never have chicken in it and it is never grilled all the way. The taco has a little bit of beef in the middle but not filled up as presented in the picture or any other Taco Bell’s. This happened every time we go here and this last time was just too much. Very unsatisfying food at this location.

Madison Restaurant is a delightful spot that offers a blend of Greek and American cuisine, making it an ideal choice for breakfast and lunch. The atmosphere is cozy, perfect for enjoying hearty meals like waffles with bacon or classic breakfast plates featuring eggs, pancakes, and sausage. Many visitors have found the food to be consistently good over multiple visits, appreciating the value it provides. While service may vary slightly from visit to visit, guests often leave feeling satisfied with their experience.
Yummy! We were in town visiting my in-laws and they said they really liked this place and normally it was very busy. We came in on a Monday around 11 am, so it wasn't bad at all. Greeted right away, and our service was lovely! I wasn't feeling too well and needed something that would stick to my bones, so I got the South Platter with all bacon. This also came with toast and grits, and to me, the star of the show was the grits! I'm from Las Vegas, where grits are typically only on the menu for things like shrimp and grits. I thought these were amazing grits! That made the whole meal for me. Really good food, and our server was very friendly! I would absolutely come here again.

Excellent Service & Good Affordable Food The service here was excellent and the place is very clean and updated. Our food was out lighting fast. (5-7 min. after we ordered) I love that you can get breakfast or lunch and there is something for everyone. We ordered and everyone got a small bowl of homemade coleslaw with a dill spear on top. What a nice treat! The Reuben had a good amount of thinly sliced corned beef. The fish and chips was a very large Cod fillet and the Monte Cristo was amazing. I was a bit disappointed with the gyro, which is my own fault because you don't order Greek food when you're not a Greek restaurant. They had several Greek items on the menu so I thought that it would be authentic. The pita and sauce were perfect but it was a bit light on the meat and I could tell that the meat was not shaved off of the lamb spindle. The meat pieces were all the same size and equally thinly sliced. It reminded me of strips of turkey bacon only lamb. The fries could have been cooked about 1 more minute in the fryer. Overall, excellent place for lunch or breakfast. I can't wait to try some of the breakfast items. We will be back!!

Tops American Grill and Cafe is a popular restaurant that many people dine at around 2-3 times a month on average. However, there are some loyal customers who have been frequenting the establishment for the past 4 months, enjoying their lunch there 4-5 days a week. One notable feature is their excellent Friday "fish fry" where you can choose between fried, blackened, or broiled fish options.

Was in town for the weekend and stopped at Tops the first day for breakfast. I usually like to try different places, but it was so good I returned for breakfast again the next day. The Belgian waffle with banana, strawberries, blueberries, and whipped cream was out of this world. Served with butter and warm maple syrup, which made it extra special. Enjoyed a bacon, spinach, mushroom and cheese baked omelette with hash browns the second day, was delicious. Huge portions, both meals I could only eat 1/2 and took the rest to go. Prices very reasonable. Staff very friendly and personable. Will definitely return next time I’m in town.

This sizable tract of public land offers opportunities for camping, nature viewing, fishing & more.
This nature preserve is huge! There is alot of paths to explore, lots of forest to go through, you can rent cabins, and occasionally you may stuble upon a deer. Its also great for bird watching, and the bike/skate trail is very long, and the road is very smooth. Dogs are also allowed.

A wonderful wilderness preserve in Pasco county. Free entry and plenty of parking throughout the park. There are picnic pavilions that you can reserve, beautiful hiking trails, a lovely multi-use paved trail that runs through the park and takes you out to the Suncoast Trail. There are 19 miles of single track mountain bike trails maintained by volunteers. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I just moved here from South Florida and read reviews on this park. In the very beginning you’ll find mountain bike trails. Nothing aggressive. Beginner friendly. I rode all the dirt trails and didn’t see not one other rider on these trails. It was a very nice ride. Not many roots. And here’s my only issue with this park. These trails lacked directional signs and several spots where I was hoping I was riding in the right direction. Trail took be as a whole about 30 minutes. There were also a few trees that had fallen on the trails that needed to be picked up. Once I ended that ride I stick to straight pavement. It’s very wide and smooth. I was riding around noon and saw about 60% e bikers. Many elderly riders. Great views, lots of trees, trail was clear and clean of any debris. I only rode about 10 miles. There is a rest area with a rest room. There’s also water at a couple of locations so you could refill and take a rest or snack break in the shade. I spoke with a few locals there. Apparently at the end of the trail you can make a right and ride about 40 more miles or go left and do 60 miles. I was stunned!!! This park is higa and amazing. Very beautiful and very light flow of people. I would of given it 5 stars if the mountain bike trails were maintained a bit more.

Saw lots of animals 2 deer gopher and a wild turkey while driving thru. Was awesome
Betty P — Google review
We are lucky to have a place like this for there aren't many wild places left as we leaf hop from suburb to suburb. 19,000 acres of well-maintained forest, marshland, and river tracts make this park so phenomenal to visit. I'm not a bicyclist but the 7-mile paved trail makes the walk to get to some small rivers and swamp vistas easy to get to. And once out there seeing the cypress domes and diverse environments is so worth the walk or ride. I've seen deer, boar, hawks, and owls all in one stroll then a quick ride through the day-use loop to take in a little more of the park and could off before I call it and head out is always welcome.

Very secluded, quiet and full of shade from the beautiful canopy of trees overhead. Seems like a serene place to visit during school hours; I imagine the boat ramp to the lake and swim area bring in a crowd on the weekends. Has a restroom and an outdoor area to rinse off from the lake beach area. This is a well kept and maintained park...you won't regret bringing the littles to play here; they'll love it too!

Even though the surrounding neighborhood may not be ideal to some, but this quiet lake is quite peaceful. The surrounding areas is mixed between beach and woods (with both pine and palm trees.) The beach part (sand) is actually larger than any of the other NPR swimming areas.

Definitely a beautiful park. The surrounding neighborhood isn't the greatest, but the county definitely does a great job keeping this park pristine for our community. 2 pavilions with grills, a playground, a basketball court, and a small beach make up this cozy atmosphere.

If you're planning on heading to this park, make sure you know the route before heading there. I think there were two signs referencing the park and neither were very descriptive. I stopped by there today during lunch to check it out and to escape from the office for a bit. It's nestled back in a residential area and was pretty quiet. There is a $2 parking fee with the pay box at the park entrance. The parking lot is a decent size and I think it's hidden well enough that parking shouldn't really be an issue. When you pull into the park you can either turn right to go to the parking lot or, if you have a boat, you can go straight to the boat ramp. There's also a floating dock/pier there to tie off while you park your trailer. The park itself is on the small side. Lots of Cyprus trees so I'm guessing this area gets pretty wet during a good rain. The grounds appeared to be very clean which was a plus. The playground equipment is a little dated but in fair shape. There are two large covered pavilions with charcoal grills. They looked to be in decent shape. The grills definitely look used so you might want to bring some heavy duty foil if you're planning on using them. To the left side of the park there's a bathroom as well with a few toilets. I can't speak for the women's side but the men's bathroom was pretty clean for a public park. The park borders the lake and there's a small beach with a roped off swimming area. With alligators being pretty prevalent in this area, I doubt I would put a toe in but there were people swimming. I also saw some people fishing just outside the swimming area. Overall it isn't a bad little lunch spot. It needs some work to really shine though so I'm not sure it's worth $2 access it. I might be back again if I need to get out of the office for a breather.

Bowling alley
Lane Glo North in New Port Richey is a popular choice for families and friends looking for a fun activity. The bowling alley offers entertainment for all ages, including a rock climbing wall, ninja warrior mini course, arcade area, bar, and food bar. Visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facility and the accommodating staff who provide assistance when needed. Some guests note that finding the right-sized bowling ball can be challenging at times but recommend checking out their website for discount deals.
This is a great place to hold a family event! The package included various things - bowling, ninja course, laser tag, etc. The kids had a blast! Also, the staff was very accommodating and kind. Shout out to Wes, Cheyenne, Steven, and Dayja! We will definitely plan another event here.

The place could be fun if it wasn’t full of Karen league ballers who take the bowling way too serious… they will snitch on you FOR EVERYTHING and laugh at you for not being good, and the workers all listen to them like they’re the ones in charge!! I don’t need wanna be professional bowlers watching over me like racist creepers the entire time my friends and I are bowling!! They act like they weren’t young once and went out to bowl for fun! For this, my friends and I won’t be going back! We’ll stick to our original bowling place.

Haven't been in years but went for Father's Day. Was fun. They have updated a lot of the place and made it fun. We had a good time they have a 2.5 hour special makes it pretty affordable for a small crowd. Would recommend checking it out.

Was there the other night it was great staff in the bowling alley but the kitchen I was told he was the manger (Micheal) he is disrespectful to us and his employees sayin nasty and mean things as a manger he should put his employees down or talk to them that way and cursing at his employees is not called for. For was great but will not rather again if he’s in the kitchen poor workers

Newly installed synthetic lanes, new ball returns, new masking units, new bowling area seating being installed, and more improvements in the works. Has a recently renovated bar attached, Art's Tap House North, that hosts entertainment three nights of the week!

Had a great time, had a good family deal for up to six people. They have a rock climbing wall, a ninja warrior mini course, arcade area, bar, food bar and more. Very clean and very accommodating when we asked for the end lane. Had a great time and affordable enough a family can go have a good time. Was also very happy they had shoes and balls small enough for the 2 yr old in our group with the neat dinosaur assistant for rolling the balls. Fun for all ages.

Book store
Nestled in a quaint corner, The Paperback Exchange Bookstore is a delightful haven for bibliophiles seeking used books. This charming independent bookstore boasts an extensive collection across various genres, making it easy for visitors to discover their next favorite read. With its cozy atmosphere and snug aisles, the store invites you to lose yourself among the shelves filled with gently loved titles.
The Paperback Exchange is a great bookstore. The store is small but the selection is huge. I totally love it! I got a sack full of books. Literally. She gave me a little backpack in which to stuff my hoard! <$35 All my spring (and some summer!) reading for $20 less than the movie date we had later that day. Parking is good but the isles are a bit narrow. I doubt some wheelchairs could fully navigate the entire store on their own. However, the staff are SUPER helpful. EVERYONE is welcome inside and I hope they will find their experience as fulfilling as my own.

We went here for the first time today and found so many great books! The owners are friendly, knowledgeable, and beyond helpful. We feel safe and welcome here, which isn’t always the case in locally-owned FL places. They have TONS of used books and stuff that’s out of print now. They also have new books, as well as used DVDs, pins and stickers and some tote bags too. Honestly, can’t wait to come back! What a gem!!

I had a great time today looking around in the shop , super friendly welcoming staff not just with me but everyone who entered the store was greeted with kindness and given a small overview of where books were in the store . I will definitely be coming back I had my eye on some other books there ☺️ the prices were very reasonable and I was able to find some diverse books there as well . Thanks again 🥰

My goodness is this a wonderful place! We spend hours in here every time we visit, it is such a warm, friendly environment and an absolute haven for book lovers. The owners are so kind to everyone, from their own staff, to vendors, and certainly customers (and their littles). They remembered the authors I asked about months ago! Their prices are great, there’s discounts and special events to save even more money, and the stock changes so you never know what you’ll find scouring the shelves. Every trip here is a great trip, and I can’t thank them enough for being such a wonderful beacon in the community. 🌈 🌟 📖 🖤

If your a reader, this place has a huge selection of books. Novels new and old with many classics. It will take you back. Prices are good some excellent deals. They have some big tent sales periodically and you can get some books for $1. The people who own the place are very friendly and super helpful. You can also exchange books you've read for store credit. My daughter always goes here to scan for any books for college. We love this place.

Richey Suncoast Theatre, a historic Mediterranean Revival building dating back to the mid-20s, is a beloved local entertainment hub in New Port Richey. This intimate community theater hosts a diverse array of live performances, including dramatic theater, comedy acts, and Broadway-style musicals. The venue's old-time glamour is accentuated by its solomonic columns and Art Deco chandeliers and wall lights.
(NOT SO) Hidden Gem! What a cool place! Finally got a change to attend a show. Little Shop of Horrors, which was my FAVORITE movie as a kid! (So big shoes to fill!) #NAILEDIT! Tickets were fairly priced, concessions were reasonable. Staff is top notch friendly. The building is obviously older, but that doesn't limit the production in any way!

This was my first time at the Richey Suncoast Theatre. It is 99 years old and next year is its 100th anniversary. This amazing theatre has withstood the test of time and still provides an amazing atmosphere for you enjoy a show, a play, stand up comedy, or rewatch a cult classic. The prices cant be beat and you take a step back in time when you enter the doors of this historic building. You will expect the likes of charlie chaplin or abbot and castello to walk out on stage once you take your seats. I highly recommend catching a show here at least once to experience the history provided here.

Edgar Allan Poe was so disappointing for the money we spent. No victorian era costumes for women.. they look more like goth 80s club scene, drinks were watered down and didnt make sense plus you had to hand down people there drinks. The readings were not what we expected.

Nestled in the heart of St. Petersburg, Sip on Grand is a delightful spot that perfectly blends an artsy ambiance with a cozy atmosphere. This trendy establishment specializes in an impressive selection of wine and craft beer, complemented by delectable charcuterie and cheese boards. With its inviting outdoor seating, it's an ideal destination for both casual gatherings with friends and intimate date nights. The menu showcases farm-to-table dishes crafted from locally-sourced ingredients, ensuring every bite is fresh and flavorful.
So just in case you aren’t familiar with a speakeasy, SIP is a little hard to find on purpose. When you DO find it, I believe you will be absolutely delighted at this amazing little Gem! Nope, no Jimmy Buffet here, no thumping Music, just a friendly wine/coffee/craft beer 30’s plus Adult bar with low lights, old movies playing in the back on a large screen, really cool art, and Hosts that will make you not only feel comfortable but enjoy making new friends. Micheal was our host and he was beyond helpful! We sat in our plush rocking swivel lounge chairs and were looking right at an old antique hat hanging chair when the whole wall opened up and a speakeasy side room for special parties revealed itself. Ridiculously cool!! Very easy to chill….

Ready for something different? This comfy, cozy, laid-back business has a cool vibe and an eclectic menu. Our delightful server, Melissa, helped us maneuver the wine and craft beer choices, and made suggestions from their menu. You won't find burgers or mac and cheese. It's fresh charcuterie, paninis and flatbreads, all fresh and full of flavor. We decided on their Shrimp Salsa Fresca and it was delicious. Downtown NPR keeps getting better and better and Sips will be a mainstay.

Was gifted a gift card for this establishment by someone who had also never been, and since wine isn't normally my thing, I would've never found this place if not for the on- the-fly gift sought out based on zip code alone. 😂 But I'm so glad it all happened. This place was just so cute. The server was very nice and worked with me to understand what I might end up liking in a wine, and she nailed it! My only frustration is that I left without writing down the name of it. Suppose I'll have to go back. ❤️ It was a little warm inside, but I get it, it's a million degrees out lately. But in the 'winter' time, I might end up being a regular. Good stuff.

An amazing couple runs this classy establishment and they serve up some of the best and unique food I have had. This is a great place to relax, chat with friends and enjoy some fine wine and craft beer. They have some rare wines and they don't price gouge. I think the private room is really cool and would be perfect for a book club to host their meeting or like we did a group of friends. Snack on some unique truffle popcorn or one of their cheese and meat plates for a variety of flavor. There are options for just about everyone and I can't wait to go back to Florida and visit again.

The dining experience at Kawa Japanese Steak House & Sushi was satisfactory. The highlight was being able to enjoy the entire Habachi room exclusively, creating a romantic atmosphere. The private setting enhanced the meal, and the chef displayed professionalism and amicability. The cuisine itself was enjoyable. Though previous visits were pleasant, this particular occasion stood out as the most relaxing and intimate due to having our own room and personal chef.
I like that you have the option for steamed gyoza. Much better than fried hard. The Philadelphia roll, Green Mountain, and Pink lady rolls were all very good as was the miso soup and seaweed salad. It's a pretty solid option for lunch. Donna, my server was the only one on and I kinda felt bad for her - they REALLY need to add a second server during lunch because business is about to blow up if the food keeps coming out as good as it is people are going to talk, myself included!!! She did a wonderful job despite being the only server in the place.

This was a great experience! Our chef was Garrett he put on a great show and cooked amazing dishes ! I tried the deluxe and it was delicious!!! If you haven’t tried this Kawa I highly suggest you do!

One of the worst sushi experiences I’ve ever had — and I truly regret wasting $38 on this. The rolls looked NOTHING like the pictures. They arrived completely smashed, falling apart, and soggy. The rice was a mess, the avocado was overly mushy, and the presentation was embarrassing — like someone dropped the box and decided to send it anyway. Yes, there was wasabi and ginger — smeared all over like someone stepped on it. Absolutely no care, no pride in quality. For this price, I expected something at least edible and presentable, not a pile of disappointment in a plastic tray. If you’re looking to treat yourself — trust me, this ain’t it. Save your money and go literally anywhere else.

Kawa is a gem that elevates dining in our town to a whole new level. From the moment you step through the door, the warm ambiance and impeccable service make you feel like royalty. The staff is attentive, professional, and genuinely invested in ensuring every guest has an unforgettable experience. The food? Absolutely divine. Each dish is a masterpiece, bursting with bold flavors and crafted with the freshest ingredients. Whether you're savoring their signature sushi rolls or indulging in a perfectly cooked entrée, every bite is a testament to the culinary artistry at Kawa. A special shoutout to Sara, the bartender, who is nothing short of phenomenal. Her five-star service is the heart of the bar—she’s attentive, professional, and has a knack for making every guest feel like a regular. Her expertly crafted cocktails are the perfect complement to the meal, each one a work of art in its own right. Kawa is more than a restaurant; it’s an experience that leaves you counting down the days until your next visit. If you’re looking for a place where exceptional food, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere come together, Kawa is it.

Please do not give this restaurant your business . Horrible management. Ordered a speedy roll with Krab topped with crab and was supposed to be topped with crab and crunchy. it was topped with fish eggs which I do not eat. I had an operation at the nearby hospital today and my sister kindly dropped the order off to me . I called to get a refund and the manger refused even after explaining my situation. Even though the error was their fault. He asked that I save the sushi roll and bring it after I am discharged from the hospital

Yesterday 5/16/25 I did a reservation 5pm got there told the gentleman at the door that we were celebrating a Birthday 🎂 like 3 time. Did not say anything else they has one server for many tables she was not able to attend everyone. The habachi cook 👨🏻‍🍳 hardly spoke or did anything to make it fun. After the dinner I got up since they clean and did not mentioned anything about the bday. No employees that can help to be found. Food tastes ok simple flavor expensive and very small portions. Will not go again. Ask for management according to front man there was non.

Short: inconsistent quality across our order, but end result was good, waitress forgot one of our rolls, could have been a better experience. Details: Ate here just recently and before that a few years ago. I feel it went down a bit in consistency. We dined in and had about 45 minutes to eat. My wife's order came back with a roll that had some strange grey topping and excessively salty to taste and we sent it back, We never did that before, but it was too much salt. Kids hibachi rice was hard. My rolll was good, wife's food came back much better on her second, different roll. Portions were good size. Frying oil had an aftertaste on the tempura. Positive: Order the right roll and it will be good. Plating and presentation very nice. Service was probably a new server, did ok. We would return and try a few different things. All u can eat seemed tempting for the price and hibachi for sure..

If you're in New Port Richey, you absolutely must check out AMICI PIZZA II. This family-owned gem specializes in crafting excellent and consistent pizza that truly stands out. Their handmade thin crust is a delight, topped generously with fresh ingredients that make each bite a flavorful experience. While the focus here is primarily on pizza—so much so that I haven't ventured into their pasta offerings—the quality of their pies speaks for itself.
Excellent and consistent pizza. Have not tried other pasta dishes. What they do is done wel and that's pizza. Generally hand made thin crust with delicious toppings. Service is polite and good. Counter top dining only-so no atmosphere other than the usual banter when it's a busy time and you have a full kitchen. Family owned brand, pickup service. Very consistent good food. Always ok my mind whenI drive by. No changes needed, keep doing what you're doing.

I gave two stars because usually the food is decent. I order from here probably 4x a month but whoever is in your kitchen right now at 12 on a Thursday needs to be fired. I’ve never seen fries this color. It’s very obvious that they just re-fried some old French fries they had laying around. Not only are they clearly over fried, but the taste of old oil and grease is so overwhelming I gagged and had to spit it out. WE CAN TASTE when you haven’t changed the oil recently. Hopefully y’all replace whatever lazy cook is in the kitchen right now.

One slice challenge everybody knows the rules Score 6.6 🍕 Not bad pizza at all, the sauce was good but very little was applied. (I mean under your typical average). The cheese was also good but very inconsistent throughout the pie. way thicker on some spots and very thin on some other spots no big deal. My favorite part about this pizza was the crust. Very nicely cooked great consistency with a nice crunch. My return to this location is likely. Customer service was great front counter guy was very nice. I rated the atmosphere a low star bc aesthetically when I walked in the kitchen looked old and dirty. But never the less amongst their competitors not the highest rated parlor in the area. But overall not bad Pizza 🍕 6.6

Usually great pizza. Ordered large pie with extra cheese delivered. Have to say very disappointed. Pizza was cold and it was not extra cheese. Called to complain for the first time. Was told that he had checked as order went out that it did have extra cheese I’m attaching a photo there is no extra cheese. And was sorry for it being cold. But my me and friend who vouched for this place were very disappointed today.

So, we regularly order pizza from this place and tonight we got a special treat in our pizza. We called them to let them know and they took zero responsibility. They blamed GrubHub. They said it was probably oregano. They made every excuse possible and at no time took any responsibility. Even the manager dismissed the severity of the situation. This piece of wood literate gags one of my guests! Absolutely terrifying and terrible customer service. Take some responsibility! We will NEVER order from here again and will be reporting this to the heath department. Be wary of a company that takes no responsibility!!

Best NY style pizza I've tried since moving down here 18 years ago. I didn't have high hopes after being disappointed numerous times before. We ordered the veggie pizza. It was loaded with veggies and the crust held up (no drooping when folded). Next time we'll ask for no broccoli. Looking forward to the leftovers tomorrow.

This used to be one of the best pizza places around however, when you call and tell them, there’s a problem they did not try to rectify it. They try to justify it by saying we ordered something we didn’t order and it’s not the first time I’ve been a long time reliable customer for them. I want nothing free but when the pizza comes not how you ordered or all the cheese slides off it and stuff does happen from time to time I let them know so they can fix it so other customers don’t have the same experience. I just ordered last week. Two pepperoni pizzas. Two cheese pizzas were sent. I called to let them know that Ann purchased a pepperoni pizza at a discount fine problem solved tonight we ordered again like we always do. Two pepperoni pizzas and only one with sense when we contacted them. The owner female was very disrespectful on the phone saying I knew there was a problem so I saw your number and I listened and you only ordered one pizza when we order two that’s beside the point to be called a liar to say we only ordered one pizzas. One thing it’s not even wanna sell a second pizza which we were gonna order and get rude and hang up on us is ridiculous. Do not order from this place I used to tell everybody to order from there, but you know what they are not the people I thought they were.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tequila lovers, this one’s for you... maybe. Stopped in for dinner and had very mixed feelings. The birria tacos? Absolute fire. Flavorful, juicy, crispy edges—everything I wanted and more. I’d come back for those alone. Now the margarita... whew. That thing was basically straight tequila in a glass with a lime on the rim. If you enjoy the bold, burning aroma of paint thinner with a citrus twist, then this might be your dream drink. But for me, it was a hard pass after one sip. Service was solid, food was good, drink nearly sent me to another dimension. Would I go back? Yes—for the tacos. Would I order a margarita again? Not unless I’m trying to forget my entire weekend.

We went when it was the least busy, somehow some of the food still came out cold. I got the 18.99 combo with the taco, burrito, beans and lettuce. Price wise it was a good deal. The chips were overly salted though. And honestly, everything lacked flavor. The ground beef tasted like it had no seasoning. The drinks were made well, and the service was decent, which is the one saving grace, but many people recommended this place to me so I just found it disappointing. After eating real Spanish food this place is a step behind, but that's also just my opinion. Maybe it was just a bad day for the chef. I'll try again eventually.

Love this place. Always clean, organized well, and the employees are helpful and friendly. It reminds me of how Kohl's used to be years ago. It's my go-to now. Nice to be able to find a brick and mortar store that has what I need. So much that you have to get online to buy these days.

Arrived at this store to purchase some clothing after traveling rough for 2+ months, campgrounds car camping etc. Took several garments to try on and selected two. Asked the clueless cashier (heavyset, bat-faced) if any were on sale, she assured me they weren't after making all sorts of uppity faces. One item was heavily discounted after all. When I walked out I saw a Public Safety Aide car parked next to mine. The staff had called the police for no reason other than the fact that I was wearing a baseball cap and looked slightly disheveled. Ignorant, presumptuous, and rude staff. No wonder the store is nearly empty.

It was nice, didn’t have too many popular bags. Bought a couple pairs of shoes. Great friendly service. Wish I remembered the young lady name who helped us.

Store was very clean and neatly arranged. However, there was no customer service person checking out at the counter on the women’s clothing side. I had to go to the men’s department and there was one person checking customers out. She was very pleasant and courteous

Cotee River Brewing Company, established in 2018, has quickly become a popular destination in downtown New Port Richey. The taproom exudes a sense of local charm with its rustic decor and vintage photos of the area. With up to ten beers on tap, it's the first brewery in New Port Richey and has garnered a loyal following. The friendly staff and owner Bryan create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors.
Very good beer here in downtown New Port Richey. Some interesting lagers and IPA. If you don't have a place where you want to start from i would recommend come here and go with the bartender's suggestions.

I grew up in new port Richey, I have been watching our little downtown as it has been going through it’s transformation. Cotee River Brewing Company was one of the earliest signs of this ongoing revitalization that was most apparent to me. It’s taken me several years, and even moving out of state and coming back to visit, to finally step foot into Cotee River Brewing Company for the first time. I regret not having done so sooner. Brian was so welcoming to my parents and me. He was very patient with us as we sampled each of the different brews. His chill friendly demeanor made us feel like instant regulars. My personal favorite was the Loquat Blonde brew. I highly recommend it!! Brian, thank you for a great experience. Whenever I am back in town I will definitely stop in to say hey, and have a tall chilly glass of that delicious Loquat Blonde Brew!!

Exactly the brewery downtown New Port Richey needed! Great hometown vibe and the beers are great! The prices are about average around $7 a brew, but that's typical. They have outdoor seating and are dog friendly.

Staff was extremely nice! Met the owner Bryan. Bought a shirt and tried 4 beers between the three of us. (Christmas in a a cup Ale, Wildflower Red, Blackwater and an IPA) Yes, Nikolai Papoochnik gets to taste as well 🤣 Outside is dog friendly and right on Main Street, New Port Richey. (They are trying to revitalize downtown and doing a great job at it.) Stop in and say hello to Bryan! Drink beer and enjoy your time 🍺

Tea house
Gift shop
The White Heron Tea & Gifts, located in Downtown New Port Richey, is a charming establishment owned by Kelly Hackman, a certified tea specialist and consultant. The tea room offers a delightful experience with beautifully decorated private areas and an extensive variety of teas. The homemade pastries, sandwiches, and scones are highly praised for their exceptional quality. The ambiance is serene with delicate decor and soft music, providing a calm setting for guests to enjoy their individual pots of tea.
This tea room was gorgeous and relaxing. Deb greeted us and Dawyne made the foods and was our server and the manager. The parking lot in the back of the building was very easy to find. The three of us came for afternoon tea. We each got to choose our own pot of tea. We chose: Blueberry pie green tea, Vanilla Rose, and Florida Mantra. They provided honey for us to use as our sweetener, which was a local honey (good for people with allergies). The 3 tier food tray came with finger sandwiches (cucumber sandwiches on white, tomato sandwiches on wheat, egg salad sandwiches on mini tarts, & chicken salad on croissants), two kinds of scones (with strawberry jam and butter), eclairs, lemon bars, and macaroons. Everything was superb! The scones were nice and soft and moist. We all decided to try each others tea so we’d get a taste of 3 kinds today. We all three chose the green tea blueberry pie as our favorite hands down. We had some food left over, so Dawyne brought us take home boxes to pack them up. We both bought 2 packages of the favorite tea (15 tea bags for $10.99) on the way out. We paid our bills and left our tips and thanked them very much. The staff was all very kind and polite and made us feel very welcome. It was such a wonderful experience and we’ll come back again. We found the best tea house in the New Port Richey area.

I surprised some of my family members with their first afternoon tea experience and they loved it! The service was amazing from the moment I called to schedule the reservations and throughout our teatime. The lady that assisted us (I believe her name was Dawn) was so attentive, knowledgeable and funny. We truly enjoyed her assistance. I liked the fact that we were all provided with our own teapot. It allowed us to try several of the many teas they have available. The sandwiches, scones and pastries were all very tasty. I will definitely be back.
M R — Google review
She makes a nice tiered tea lunch and I especially like and request more of the yummy chicken salad sandwich. 🐥 The gift shop provides unique and small gift option. I wish she would consider including in her sweet gift shop carrying a nice, small selection assortment of bags of gourmet and hand made candies. For example, Sweet Pete’s is a nice, sweet, and gourmet option. 🍭 🍬

We visited the Tea House for afternoon tea to celebrate my Sister's 51st birthday, and after visiting many tea houses in Europe and all over the world, I would say this was not a good experience. We left feeling like we were an inconvenience to the staff. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Deb, who was very friendly and made us feel welcome. However, we had one extra person added to the reservation (9-year-old child), and this set off the unpleasant vibe. First, we were made aware that this was a change that would be inconvenient (getting an extra seat), although there were only two other tables being served. Second, we wanted to take photos but suddenly scolded by the server for touching the furniture/seats (due to covid). Tea service was a "drop off" service and tasted watered down (award winning). We had small sandwiches, scones, macaroons, egg salad, and éclairs. However, about half the pastries were dry and not fresh. We had tea spoons but no honey or cream. Overall, we would not return to this tea house as we felt that we were a burden to the staff.

Attended a baby shower this afternoon. Beautifully decorated private area; every variety of teas you can imagine. Suffice to say the owner, Kelly, is a connoisseur of fine tea blends because the flavor of every individual pot was perfect. The pastries, sandwiches (half, full sandwiches!) were obviously homemade; the pastry crusts were light & flaky; fillings, creamy & not too sweet; the scones? My all time favorite were the best I have everrrr had! Served with a whipped butter that was to die for. Great little place, very reasonably priced for the product & atmosphere. A lovely gift area with everything "Tea" related and some really cute, unique baby gifts. All reasonably priced! Highly recommend for ANY occasion or just a nice outing.

Had tea/lunch at this cute White Heron tea room, it’s beautiful and well decorated. The foods were delicious, definitely the best quality for an afternoon tea that I’ve ever had. The tea was delicious too I ordered the Florida Sunset -without caffeine. They have great selections of shopping in the front of the store. Couldn’t have enjoyed it more.
Connie N — Google review
This is the best specialty tea shop around. The gift shop always has a wide array of their delicious teas available for purchase as well as cute tea related merchandise. The tea room for afternoon tea is wonderful for a special catch up with friends or a celebration. The special “after hours” evening tea events are beyond amazing with so many special touches that truly showcase how much care they take. I also love being able to pop in and get a tea to go and maybe a treat from the case at the gift shop. Their most recent addition of a tea parlour is a lovely place to catch your breath and relax with a pot of tea and a scone. No matter what you can be assured that you will be treated with kindness and made to feel very special at this local gem.

If you're looking for a perfect spot to relax and enjoy some of Florida's best craft beers, Dented Keg Ale Works in New Port Richey is the place to be. Nestled in the heart of historic downtown along Main Street, this brewery boasts a cozy and inviting atmosphere that makes it an ideal hangout. With events like Wednesday Trivia Nights and Drum Circles, there's always something fun happening here.
Dented Keg has quickly become my go-to spot for beer that perfectly matches my taste. If you’re like me and love sweeter brews, this is the place to be! They’re the only brewery that offers the flavors I crave, and I always find something new to enjoy. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, and parking is never an issue with plenty of space. Plus, if you’re feeling snacky, there’s often a fantastic food truck parked outside on a scheduled basis, adding to the experience. Nothing beats sipping on your favorite beer while enjoying snack. If you’re looking for unique brews and a fun, relaxed vibe, I highly recommend checking out Dented Keg! This adds a bit more personality and highlights the experience at the brewery.

Very relaxed tap room with plenty of board games and an accommodating inside/outside seating solution topped with a nice mix of in-house and guest taps, I tend to rate breweries heavily on their beers and the ones I had were good, but not outstanding.

Fairly good selection of brews. We sat outside as it was a little crowded inside. Fairly small bar area but in a popular location in downtown NPR. Service was very good at the bar as nd the pours were generous.

Wine is great! Wine is fantastic! I love the wine! Live music Friday and Saturday nights. The food truck is outside most of the time. Not many people know about this place. Lots of different beers, ales, IPA. They also home brew some of the beers. They have 22 on tap. I would try this Red Sangria, mango cider, home brew west coast.

This is a great gathering spot in Downtown New Port Richey! They even have special events such as a Bracelet making class, Ornament creations, and plant exchange. The Beers are all local and some are creative right at the Dented Keg. I highly recommend visiting this Micro brewery.

Soild addition to the craft beer and brewery scene in downtown New Port Richey. They only had 3 of their own drafts on tap, but the other selections were fantastic. Great vibe and they had a food truck outside. The life happens beer helps sign in the bathroom really resonated with me at that moment as I let my recycled beer do it's thing. Definitely excited to go back here!

Miniature golf course
Monster Mini Golf is a popular indoor 18-hole miniature golf course with a monster theme that appeals to kids, teens, and adults. The glow-in-the-dark course offers both playability and challenge, accompanied by live music from an on-site DJ. While the decor is fun and trippy, some visitors found the arcade games in need of maintenance and upgrades. Despite this, many families had a blast at this unique facility.
Such a cool place! Awesome mini golf course, big arcade, and affordable prices! Did a great job decorating the place.
Sarah C — Google review
Very cool mini golf facility. Family had a blast. Some difficult holes to accomplish as well. Only gripe was the arcade was dated and alot of the games were broken. I was told new machines were coming though so if the do get replaced I'll update this on my next visit, but overall staff was great as was the mini golf experience.
Matthew C — Google review
All in all my family and I enjoyed ourselves. It's a tad warm in there though, and the arcade could use some maintenance and an upgrade, but the staff is friendly and accommodating. The decor is fun and trippy. Might be too much for some kiddies under five as my four year old was a bit freaked out at first, but she settled down eventually.
Tammy S — Google review
the mini golf was the best part of the whole place. there were things on the course that were taped though. half of the arcade didn't work, which meant that there weren't a lot of games to choose from, and the machines my brother and i used ran out of tickets. the lady who works there had to replace the tickets twice in those machines. she was very nice. the bathrooms were okay, but i noticed that the paper towel dispenser in there was taped to stay closed, and it opened when i tried to use it. i would only recommend this place for people who want to play mini golf.

Super cool mini golf! The art was fantastic and some of the holes were really challenging. It got crowded quick though. Bad was a lot of the arcade machines were broken.

The art in the mini golf area is great! So well put together. The employee present was great and offered my daughter extra opportunities to win little prizes. The arcade games seem to be pretty worn out. We didn't play them. There was only one employee. Which was probably not safe for her. Had a great time. Would recommend.

Tropical Breeze Casino in New Port Richey offers a charming and unique gambling experience. Despite the small and older boat showing signs of wear, visitors have reported having a great time. The top deck provides incredible views of the ocean while enjoying entertainment, food, and drinks at reasonable prices. The friendly crew ensures a smooth and relaxing ride, making it worth visiting even for non-gamblers.
T h e crew were so friendly and helpful. Drinks were cold and the sandwich s were very tasteful & hot. On top level was fun with the singing and dancing. The ride was smooth and relaxing....even if you don't gamble its worth the sail out there. Would definitely suggest anyone go for the boat ride alone.
Nanette C — Google review
We cruised for our first time this past Thursday. The reviews did have us nervous, but we actually had a really great time! Other reviewers are correct, the boat is small, older and definitely showing its age (looks worn out and tired), but we didn’t find it dirty and actually saw employees cleaning here and there in between running around doing their multiple job duties. All employees were polite. Slot area was very small and tight fitting and as others have said approximately 30% of the slot machines they have are not functional. We found that once they opened the tables, it was easier to find a slot machine to enjoy. We absolutely loved hanging on the top deck enjoying the music, Leeann has an amazing voice, was delightful and made karaoke fun! And yes, there are smokers all over, we just move if it bothers us. The boat ride and being out on the water was worth it, if not a big gambler, just bring something to do and enjoy the deck, music and drinks!
Amy K — Google review
Very disappointed. The slots were about my age, the carpet and rooms smelled of stale beer and smoke from about 50+ years. Had no idea it was a 6+ hour trip, tried to call but just kept getting a recording...never did get a call. However, LeAnn the singer and announcer was phenomenal, the short time spent top deck singing and getting to know people was great and just not long enough. Great Hot chocolate too. Once was enough...thanks for the experience
Susan ( — Google review
Omg don't go here. The boat is junk, the staff is so rude, the table games are ran by misfits. If you wanna play craps the minimum buy in is 200.00. There is no rewards program, no incentive to return. No comps! Go to the other coast and go out on the Victory Casino. Although this review is all negative we tried to enjoy our time the best we could especially on the top deck. That guy singing karaoke has it going on! He was fantastic and made things fun.
Ronita K — Google review
This was a great experience! It was the first time me and boyfriend was on a casino boat. We went on Friday. It was not crowded which was good, there were plenty of slots. These slots are older but still fun! And they are real penny, nickle, quarter slot machines. You don't find machines like that at the Hard Rock Casino. On Friday they give you for FREE $5 to play, sandwich of your choice, chips and drink voucher. It is just a basic sandwich but still good. The bathrooms were clean. The karaoke guy I think his name is Jake did an EXCELLENT job keeping the audience entertained and the view on the boat was great. If you sing karaoke you get free drink vouchers. The boat is small but still had a good time. Plus it only cost $8 to board. Where else can you pay $8 somewhere and get fed for free and given free $5 to play on the machines? It is the perfect gem we discovered in our area.
Ashley G — Google review
We had a great time last Saturday on the Casino Cruise. We hit a jackpot on the slots for over $1800 and got a 4 of a kind on the “ Let It Ride “ table game for $1,000. Karaoke on the top deck. Cheap drinks, not as smoky as I thought, but I’m a smoker🥴. The staff was over the top nice and went out of their way to be accommodating, in fact the Waitress is also the cashier attendant, slot fixer, and sandwich maker 🏅🎰👍 If the owners would invest in fixing the broken slots, about 40% of the slots weren’t working, replacing them with new ones, this place would be packed!🎰🔥and we could bring more friends. we are definitely coming back for a fun afternoon on the water, please add hot food choices 😉

My boyfriend and I went last night. It was his first time and I told him the payouts are good it's a nice ship but I didn't know everything had changed since the last time I went. Their advertising is a lie free beer is not true. It is two kinds of beer only the cheapest beer you can buy. The ship is so small, not very clean. I wanted to play 3 card pocker but those tables were not open so no 3 card. The food was good except I said no tomatoes but I got tomatoes anyway, glad I did because there was a small black hair on one of the tomatoes. I didn't want to have to walk the food all the way back down the stairs. The payouts were horrible not just for my boyfriend and me. Most people were extremely disappointed. The only two things we enjoyed was the beautiful sunset with being on the water and the karaoke.

My friend and I visited the Tropical Breeze boat last week on our vacation. We had a blast! A wonderful time was had by all and we did not want to leave. The view from up top was incredible. Just the view of the ocean and the surrounding areas were peaceful and beautiful. The music was entertaining and they offered plentiful food and drinks at good prices. It's sad to read a lot of negative reviews about them and I get that everyone has their personal experiences, but this is a family boat who has been in this business for years. This boat is not synonymous to Hard Rock Casino. If you're looking for that vibe, that is your place. These owners work dilligently to provide what they can to give a fun experience. The owners are the most down to earth, kind, and 'realest' people you'll ever meet. Staff was friendly and professional and felt safe riding on the boat to and from.

Boulevard Beef & Ale Inc is a delightful dining destination nestled in downtown New Port Richey, where the atmosphere is both lively and inviting. This pet-friendly establishment boasts an open kitchen and a charming patio, making it perfect for those who want to enjoy a meal with their furry friends by their side. With over twenty-five years of culinary expertise, Boulevard Beef & Ale serves up an array of comfort food favorites including mouthwatering sandwiches, juicy burgers, and fresh seafood options.
This is a great little find downtown New Port Richey. Quaint bar and grill with an old world feel. Feels like you're sitting by the fireside. We started with the spinich artichoke dip which was good but not grand. We next presented with the most flavourful French onion soup covered with cheese. Wife had the pear pasta which had an unusual sweet taste. I dove into the Chipotle Shrimp. Very flavourful. Definite repeat.
Steve S — Google review
Well this place was interesting. First the steak bites were pretty ridiculous! Tiny bites of unseasoned steak. Tender and lacking in flavor with sliced garlic bread. The bread was delicious when dipping into the delicious French onion soup which was the saving Grace

I have been eating here since 1997 !!! This is the best restaurant in Pasco County and hands down the best French Onion Soup on the planet!!! Don't take my word for it. Find out for yourself. Trust me, after your first meal, you will be back many more times.

I feel ashamed that I haven't dined here before. Actually I recall hanging out here back in the day when it was a hardware store. As for the service and food, our server was very polite and able to assist us with our selections. Our food as shown in the pictures was amazing. I can't wait to return and try the cheese steak sandwich that many reviews say is yummy. Now this is in our top 5 places to eat.

I had the Grouper Oscar and my wife had the Chicken avocado pasta. Both were delicious. The shrimp cocktail was aslo so good. I loved the cocktail sauce. It was thick and had a great consistency. Been eating here for years and definitely recommend.

Well this was our first time at this establishment. I started off with onion soup which was awesome, from there it went downhill, tried the OMG stuffed pork chop, dry and no seasoning. Also was told, bake potatoes and asparagus had an upcharge for the sides not listed on the menu. Asparagus is a $6.00 upcharge and was mushy. Bake potatoes 4.00 upcharge. My wife order rare seared ahi tuna it cam out gray. The service was good. The food was not.

My husband and I had dinner here last night. We've heard from a few of our community members about their $5 happy hour apps and decided to give em a try. My only disappointment is that we waited so long to do so. We ordered the mini meatballs that come with garlic cheesy bread and Fiocchetti in balsamic fig glaze for our apps and the Sangria and Island Breeze for drinks. (the Sangria was a little too watered down but not surprising for $3) Then my husband and I shared their New York strip steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and we added a cup of the french onion soup for just $3 more. We were too full for dessert lol but had plenty for 2nd dinner later that night. Everything was very good. I loved the fiocchetti but I'm huge on pasta. The steak did need to be seasoned but that seems to be a common thing here in Florida with the lack of cooking with salt. We like to think the restaurants do this on purpose so that they don't over salt in case someone is salt sensitive ( we do live in a state with lots of retirees ). The service was friendly and with a smile. Our waitress Marie (might have been Maria) was very sweet, gave good recommendations, and checked in on us several times. The food was out pretty fast, hot and cooked well. The place was clean and had a good atmosphere. When you walk through the front door it has a laidback small bar vibe. The host informed us we could sit any where we'd like, bar, dinning area or patio out back. We will definitely be going back. And soon I hope.

I don’t even know where to start! Baked potato was just past raw! Served a soda in a broken glass, then offered a dessert in addition to what came with the meal, it looked like it sat uncovered in a fridge. Service slow. Very disappointed to say the least.

I absolutely love it here! I actually came here initially because I saw a new coffee shop had opened up when searching what coffee shops were open at that time, because it was early and I needed coffee haha! And it just so happens The Daily Vibe Coffee shop is inside of Ordinance One! A place I’ve walked by so many times and have always been curious about, I’m so glad my friend and I decided to check it out because both the Coffee Shop and Ordinance One are just lovely! The decor of this place gives me such nostalgia, I love the brick wall and high ceilings with wooden beams going across, it gives you that extra warm and fuzzy feeling that you’re home, but away from home. Especially with the vintage art on the walls, and all the different seating options, chairs, couches, barstools, it has everything! And it really is so comfortable too, there’s a seat for everyone, it makes me wonder if they kept that in mind because people have different preferences. I like that a lot, and I wish more places did this! There’s a huge back room with games, and hook toss games at most of the tables too, those are neat and a nice touch. There outside seating in the back, quite a lot actually, very spacious. We originally went for coffee but then ordered IPAs instead, ‘Perla’ by Omnipollo, which is a Double New England Hazy ale that tasted so sublime! I tried the Avocado Toast but on an everything bagel with cream cheese and I was in awe, everything tasted so fresh and natural. I honestly wanted to order another haha, they have a nice little menu with a bunch of treats, snacks, appetizers, and more! Everything looked good. We then tried one of the Lotus drinks from the Coffee Shop and I’ve never had a Lotus but let me tell you, it’s worth it! There’s so many flavors, you can mix and match them, it gives you a nice boost of energy too! I recommend the ‘Lavender Dream’ lotus. This treasure of a place has a nice selection of craft beers, ciders, wine, kombucha, and so much more. They rotate the beers too so there’s always something new to try! I definitely recommend this place and I’ll be back again soon! As well as the coffee shop, I literally went back the next morning because it was that good! Kira offered us samples to try, the whole staff was very welcoming and accommodating! Thanks so much ❤️‍🔥

We were in the area and decided to stop by. Glad that we did! The bartenders were awesome and friendly. They made sure that are cups were always filled and gave us so many options to choose from. The beers were delicious. There's several comfy spots to choose from to sit in and of course the bar. There's outside seating and a back room with a table to play board games on. I love how the exposed brick and beams are all over the space. It's really nice and reminded me of my favorite spot back on Long Island. Sad that it's a 30+ min drive from my home but will definitely come back when I'm around. NPR seems to be the up and coming hot spot.

Great atmosphere. If you are looking for a relaxing place to have a drink with friends and unwind in what has become a pretty busy downtown area, this is your place. They have a great variety of beers, seltzers and ciders to please even the picky beer drinker in me. Visit O-One and you will not be disappointed.

We loved our experience at Ordinance One. They hosted us for an after-party following one of the busiest days of the year for their downtown community and they nailed it. Their bartenders were awesome and they worked with us to let us have our own catering brought in since they don't have a food menu of their own. It was our first time having our after-party at Ordinance One or at any place that also was open to the public at the same time as our event which was great for us too! We had raffles and a 50/50 and some of their customers participated and even got some prizes. We will gladly have more events at Ordinance One and if you are looking for a cool, relaxed environment for an event you should contact BJ over there too!

Went in for coffee and had the best experience! Great place to work. The flow is awesome from the ambiance to the friendly peeps. Can't wait to go back. Oh and the coffee is roasted specially for them and it's delightful! Brought their donuts to a client and they raved about them. Just go there!

This is definitely your good old family hometown New Port Richey bar that went craft beer bougie! Perfect place to make your "Pour Decisions" as the selection of beer is always unique and rotating to keep you on your toes if you're into that type of craft beer awesomeness. If not, you may be lucky enough to try a Narragansett which is the Bud Light of the north to keep even the most basic of beer drinkers satisfied. The backyard space is great for their rotating food trucks, beer events or local craft markets. I can't say enough about the wonderful, knowledgeable staff serving you! I just love coming here so much, even bring my 2 little puppies as they seem to enjoy the atmosphere as well. If you're a soccer fan, the owners tend to open up early during World Cup events, sometimes insanely early to give you a space to cheer on your team! Prices are very reasonable for what you get and you will not be disappointed making this your go to bar as a regular!🍻

Service was terrible! Almost an hour wait for food. I understand it was Chasco Fiesta, but still. Could have had a more sufficient amount of staff. I won't be back

Cuban restaurant
Restaurant
Delicias Latinas Restaurant is a delightful gem that transports you straight to the vibrant flavors of Cuba and Puerto Rico. Known for its mouthwatering seafood dishes paired with crispy plantains, this eatery offers an authentic experience reminiscent of roadside food stalls on the islands. The menu features a variety of frituras, allowing guests to indulge in all sorts of delicious fried treats while sipping on an array of Spanish soft drinks or enjoying $2 drafts from their small bar.
My favorite place for a hardy meal that I know will always be delicious. This whole plate was under $10, the staff is very nice and I’ve never had a bad experience. 10/10 recommend to everyone!!!🇵🇷💖

The staff was nice...I was waited on quickly. I wanted a fish sandwich, but it was unavailable. I got alot of food in my meal...more than I could eat. I was hoping for more flavor overall. The plantains were delicious.

Great tasting food! Also the prices vs. The portion sizes are amazing. I'm Puerto Rican and have been cooking and eating this food my whole life and I can honestly say their yellow rice AND their Alcapuria are the best ones I've had since my grandmother passed away. I also highly recommend their pernil(slow cooked pork),stewed chicken, and their chicharon(deep fried pork belly).. their Cubans are amazing as well. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal at a great price

I eat at & order takeout all the time from this place. The food is always awesome & the empanadas are nice and stuffed! The prices are really good. When the pandemic hit and they were open for a time till now never upped their prices!! If you haven't ate here yet, you should!

Today is our last day coming here. Mi comida sabe a gloria compare this restaurant. Food tastes terrible. omg Jesus. Las empada tastes like soap. The best part of our food was the soda I was drinking. I don't understand how this place is still open. Nothing in this restaurant tastes like Hispanic real food, and I am from Puerto Rico and feel embarrassed of the food they cook here. I also had to remind them that they forgot to cook my food after 40ms. How ridiculous is that. They need to do some cleanings. The restaurant is dirty and disgusting. It's time to find a better Latino restaurant. I do not recommend this place...... By the way for the love of God turn the music down, is very disrespectful. People are trying to eat, and the music is always but always very loud.

Very delicious authentic food. Very friendly fast service awesome food and for a great price even though we're in an inflation. If you want to bang for your buck I would definitely go here. I have been coming here for a long time they are always friendly Carring compassionate staff that they have there

Food was delicious and staff is very friendly. The next time I go I will take it to go instead of dine in. Went for lunch with a friend, the inside atmosphere isn't very accommodating unless you're there to sit at the bar. The music was loud and the videos playing with half naked women were unappetizing. Cafe con Leche was perfection.

I've had the cuban here a few times. I've had hundreds of Cubans from all over FL and this one is unlike any I ever had. Very thick even when pressed and loaded with meat. Get it with lettuce and tomato to cut down some of the richness of the thick cut pork. One will feed two people. $6 pitchers and 2 draft beers can't be beat. I wasn't so keen on the empanadas though, they were dry and when I broke them open everything just fell out onto the plate. I have not tried anything else here.

Breakfast restaurant

Recently, visitors have shared delightful experiences at various locations, highlighting the exceptional service and delicious food. Many patrons have expressed their surprise at receiving attentive hospitality that has rekindled their appreciation for this iconic eatery.
Great Place! Food was served quick and tasted soooo good! I had gotten the patty melt with bacon and it was worth it! Much better than mcdonalds, but it was kind of loud in there but other than that, I have to give it a 4.5 stars. Highly recommend for decent food at a little bit pricey but for that quality of food it is worth it!
Preston L — Google review
After getting over any misconception others have painted about Waffle House, I stopped in and had the best service and food in a very long time. Their hospitality and prompt service gave me a whole new appreciation for Diners in the New Port Richey area. Best $15-$20 you'll spend (including gratuity). Claire always cooks the best dishes in town! You can always count on Frances to provide top-tier hospitality. Stop in anytime; you won't be disappointed! 👍 👍

First time in A long time having a good experience at this location. Most of the time at this location was a complete mess and disappointed with the Service. However the other day was really refreshing that I actually got good service out of this location first time in years! Unbelievable! The eggs were almost exactly the way I wanted them. First time ever. I forgot the names of the server and girl cook. I will update this In A few days, they did a good job. And I am very happy with them.

Like most Waffle Houses, you’ll get consistent taste and the exact menu you’d expect. Fast and friendly service — also common. My food came from fifteen feet away and right when the order was up. Accurate order. No surprises… Soda machine might need a cleaning as it tasted a little off.
S P — Google review
The staff seems more concerned about smoking cigarettes out back with random homeless people than doing their actual job and when I say the staff, I mean, the chick that works for the grill that gets one order and acts like she's swamped... The chick that's working the grill this evening 8/8/25 needs to be fired, remediated, preferably relocated. She is useless and her attitude sucks just as bad. She serves barely cooked food and gives you an attitude when you complain. And I love nothing more than ordering to go to have to go back and have my order remade because she was more concerned with smoking than cooking our food properly. If there was another Waffle House within a reasonable distance, I would never return to this location...

The food is always amazing! They staff were so sweet. None were afraid of my service animal (which happens to be a pitbull) (yes pits can be service animals and can alert to my medical needs they can also be and emotional support animals. But someone sees a pitbull and they usually stereo type the breed. The employees here did not do that

The waffles were amazing along with everything else! Good service and clean inside. No complaints here. The Waffle House never disappoints me.
