Cesenatico Is a wonderful Town to visit in Italy. The town is centered around the Canale Leonardesco.

Beautiful spot to visit and reachable by bike. Small restaurants by the channel are very cozy, a bit overpriced due to the location. On the left of the channel there is a nice museum of maritime history and a nice art gallery that makes occasional shows. On the right of the channel is the access to the old village where there is a merry go round and a market in the evenings. Stunning the old boats in the channel.

A cute & cozy place. Kids were fascinated to see all that boats. We recommend La Pizzeria Materiaprima (Pizza al taglio) situate on The boardwalk. The best pizza we ate so far.😋🤤

Great little town with a very picturesque centre running along the river filled with boats. Lovely atmosphere. Good restaurants and "gelateria's"

Came here on a boat trip from Bellaria and what a stunning place it was. All the boats up the river, and the marina restaurants were sending out sounds and smells that stay with you for a long time. There was a little street event going on with wooden table games and everybody was having a great time. I will not forget this place in a hurry!!

"Porto canale Leonardesco" because is a man-made canal designed by the one and only Leonardo da Vinci. It's the heart of Cesenatico, especially in summertime, and it hosts various events during the year (Nativity scenes during Xmas time for example). Around the canal you may find pubs, shops, and restaurants. Very suggested.

Great museum to visit, when you visit the seaside village don’t miss it.

This small museum is actually a little gem! There is a ton of information and many artifacts related to the life of a fishermen, seamen and the art of boat crafting through the centuries, focused on the Adriatic. We enjoyed a lot our visit, actually we would like to have more time to spend. Another positive thing is that it stays open until late. 5 stars, a must see in Cesenatico.

Nice little museum in memory of the greatest cyclist ever born. You can enter to 5€ and if you’re really interested the three rooms can give you an up to an hour tour with relics of the great Marco Pantani. If you’re already in cesenatico then it’s a worth to visit location even if you’re not a bike fan. They have a small souvenir shop as well and the money goes to a foundation.

Amazing museum with so many interesting items to look at. Well worth a visit even if you aren't a Pantini fan, only cost €5 for entry and you get a free wrist band. The staff were very friendly and knowlegeable - within a km of the museum is his grave which is also worth a visit.

It's a wonderful feeling to see the whole journey of the Pirate! 🚲⛵

Very nice place. A lot of restaurants and shops. You can find something good to eat, drink a coffee. Nice views. Friendly staff. On the summer time there is a lot of attractions. I recommend this place for everyone. I like spend time with my friends. Usually I'm coming there on the bike.

We had lunch here on our first day in Ravenna & breakfast every morning as we were staying in their B&B. The food is great - good salads, fresh pastries & home made cakes.

Although the restaurant has a beautiful location, I was disappointed by the fish. I ordered the grilled fish mix, but everything was breaded and unseasoned. The vegetables served with it were raw and also unseasoned, and there was no dressing. This restaurant is only for people who are absolute raw food fans and want to enjoy everything in its purest form, even without salt or pepper. The prices were exorbitant, but the service was top-notch. All in all, this restaurant scores mainly because of its great location, not the food.

The dinner was very good. We had an amazing tunnfish tartare and a mixed graten plate. Simply delicious. The dessert was very tasty: try the cannolo siciliano. I would definitely go back and advise it to friends.

Nothing special, raw shrimps and oysters not that great, served on ice with no other plate. Waiters never come to refill water\wine, for the michelin plate its strange. I asked no bread and got one. Adter 21.00 started live music nearby - it makes you want leave as fast as possible. Weont recommend this place

Our third time in Cesenatico and third time having dinner here. The overall experience is a beautiful thing, from the food to the wine to the staff to the ambience. The serving of tartare di tonno is a healthy serving and the dishes of fried fish with vegetables and passatelli with pesto and red shrimp were delicate and amazing. The dessert menu is riduculously creative and any time I see semifreddo on a menu, it’s required. Treat yourself to a gorgeous experience! Even the first page of the menu tells you to not be in a hurry, savor it, enjoy it. Like life.

Hands down the best fish restaurant of Cesenatico. Exquisite kitchen with smart, elegant dishes. Pair the great fish with a Ca' del Bosco and you'll think the gates of heaven have opened for you. The portions of the starters, primi and secondi are quite generous but digest easily so go for the full 3-course, you won't regret it!

we went for lunch. we chose 2 dishes and a beer. the waiter was pleasant, the service was friendly and that's why I'm giving it 2 stars. Unfortunately the dishes were not tasty, I would even say completely tasteless. Namely: Cutlet with fries 👎… Strozzapretti with mantis shrimp - I don't recommend it, because they were just empty shells !!!! with pasta - the worst I've ever seen. I wonder how that chef would eat that? tasteless shells with pasta. Horrible! The cutlet is basically a piece of chicken in breading that resembled a sole! I don't recommend these dishes in any case!!!

After spending 1 week in southern part of Italy and visiting many restaurant this was our last day in Italy. I have to admit the staff was very friendly and helpful. The place is in a perfect location and the interior was also good. That's it. Every other thing including food and drink were very low quality. All in all we had a bad experience.

I don't understand the poor reviews. We shared an appetizer, bruschetta with marinated sardines - it tasted wonderful. Afterwards we shared a pizza, which was also very tasty, with a crispy crust. The service was friendly, though I had the impression several team members were just learning. If we return to Cesenatico (I hope so) we would certainly come again.

Amazing service by Andrew. Food was authentic Italian. Best for sea food lover. The ambience very pretty. Although as an Indian with different tastes palette but they were able to understand it and serve what was best served.

Beautiful place. Food was excellent in taste and quality and the staff is attentive and friendly and yet professional. I asked for ta glass of wine but wasn't colf enough, though the opened a bottle by the glass of one of my favorate wines anyway. I'll be back again

This is a great place for dinner. The menu has a good amount of options and the wine selection and recommendations are excellent. We recommended to get the tagliere di salumi and pinzimonio for starter. Then you can either get a well made pasta or pizza. They also have an amazing selection of meats from best places in the world, including certified A5 from Japan. The young lady in the entrance who then later will also help the table service, she is so nice and cool. And she's really knows a lot about wine, if you don't know just ask her, she has a great taste. ;) It is located in Cesenatico which is the type of town you like to walk around before and after eating.

Great location staff is very friendly the food looked so good I actually forgot to take pictures cause all I wanted to do was taste it. I had home made pasta with seafood. Great texture and the sauce was delicious. The wine was soothing and very rich. I must see place when in that region.

As a meat aficionado, I had to test the Osteria, known for its meat specialties. Expectation: A culinary highlight. Reality: Good ambiance, but the “Kobe-like” meat was more a promise than a fulfillment. Quality was okay, but for over 100 euros for a steak, I expect more than just okay. Presented as table carving on a hot stone - very good. Taste and quality of the meat - just okay, with the typical characteristics of Kobe being practically nonexistent. The vegetable sides were also okay, but nothing more. Service? Friendly - but nothing more. All in all, somewhat average. A general note: This habit of seating individual diners at single tables in the middle of the room - like children in kindergarten - just to keep tables available for larger groups is quite harsh. Especially when ordering a steak for 140 euros, not just a quick Margherita pizza - “Osteria flair” or not. As someone who pays a lot of attention to details, it struck me: As a non-local guest, you’re more or less a number here. Genuine interaction, the smile from the owner at checkout, is reserved for regulars. And it hurts when it’s so blatantly obvious. Conclusion: For a culinary experience that significantly lightens the wallet, I would have expected more, and not the typical tourist treatment. More warmth, more recognition as a guest, not just as an item on a bill. The Osteria has potential, but without the insider bonus, visitors remain outsiders – a feeling that, frankly, is quite disappointing. Regrettably, not recommended for non-locals. And an update that doesn't improve the review: Just checked the receipt... 3 euros for "service"??? Really? Okay, this confirms the tourist rip-off. And even if that's "customary" - what for?
