National park
Nature & Parks
Hot Springs National Park is a historic urban park in Arkansas, featuring a row of early 20th-century bathhouses built on natural hot springs. The park's history dates back to 1832 when President Andrew Jackson set aside the area as the first federal reservation, making it the oldest national park in the United States. The mineral-laden thermal waters that bubble out of the mountain have been believed to possess medicinal or therapeutic properties for centuries and were highly prized by Native American tribes.
This is a very unique national park. I don't think I've ever been to one that was essentially part of the city it was in like this. Basically, half of Hot Springs downtown is the park itself, and the other half is shops and lodging, etc. It was interesting. Very cool history with the bathhouses, and what they were used for. There are some really nice hiking trails in the part of the park that is outside of the actual downtown area. The downtown portion is focused on the bathhouses, and their history. Outside of that is more nature focused into the Ouachita National Forest, with scenic trails, etc.

This is a unique National Park. While it’s not the rugged hiker’s paradise that many others are, it has its own special charm. The historic bathhouses are fascinating to see, and the urban setting makes it perfect for a couple’s outing or casual day trip. I hiked the Peak Trail—super easy, though hot in the midday sun—and was rewarded with a beautiful view of Arkansas’s lush greenery from the top. Definitely worth a visit.

I had such a great experience visiting Hot Springs National Park! The mix of nature and history makes it a truly unique place — you can hike beautiful forest trails and then relax in the historic bathhouses. The water is warm, soothing, and perfect after a long walk. Everything is well-maintained, and the atmosphere feels peaceful and welcoming.
Michael C — Google review
I understand protecting our natural resources, but I question the initial intention of the park and what it has become. Set within the town of Hot Springs, there are only 2 bathhouses still functioning. Originally “preserved for future recreation” by Congress in 1832, before National Parks were established, it seems like it was originally intended by as “medicinal”playground for the rich and famous (not surprising) and now, not so much. Still, the springs and history are fascinating and you should at least try one of the open bathhouses if you visit. There is some shopping and a few hiking trails, but not much else.
Kristie B — Google review
The Hot Springs National Park unfortunately was closed due to government shut-downs. However, we were still able to access the springs and the trails. The hot springs average around 130F so use caution if you have your small children with you. We had a 5yo & 7yo and they were able to be careful and enjoy touching and learning about the springs. Because the park is integrated within the downtown, it didn’t take long to walk the trail. There’s a lot more trails to hike that we did not do with our youngest kids this trip.
Trisha E — Google review
Different kind of Mario Al park. Not a lot of hiking trails, but we did manage to do about 4 miles, uphill for a mile straight, so there are options. There are also roads going to the attractions that the trails end at if you’re not into hiking. One unique thing about this park is the bathhouses that are still operating for a one of a kind spa experience. Cool park, but keep in mind this is an urban area, not the solitary park you may be used to.

The vibe here is incredible. The different places to go and things to do that are FREE(not the food- but the water is!!)- From bathhouse row to the Gangster Museum to Fat Jacks. Do yourself a favor and GO!!!!!!
Delta Q — Google review
Thos park is a lot different from other National Parks. Its small and crowded. Bring plenty of empty containers to take home some spring water, it will come out very hot. If you can go pamper yourself at one of the bathhouse. Lots of history there.

Breakfast restaurant
Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Hot Springs, The Pancake Shop is a beloved breakfast spot for locals and tourists alike. Since 1940, this family-owned establishment has been dishing out mouthwatering American breakfast classics like giant scratch-made pancakes, homemade sausage, and juicy ham steaks. Renowned for its generous portions and friendly service, The Pancake Shop has become a must-visit destination.
A fun little diner like place, the Pancake Shop was THE place to eat a big hearty breakfast before starting our adventures for the day. The staff kindly let us know that the pancakes are HUGE, so we didn't over order on those, but once we added a side of eggs and sausage it was a LOT of food! Everything tasted wonderful, and the staff were friendly and very attentive. Multiple staff members checked on us throughout our dining experience, and they were quick to top off our coffee cups when they ran low. We lucked out and missed most of the morning rush, as we ate at more of a "brunch" time, so we didn't have to wait to be seated, but you could tell that this diner is always hoppin! Certainly a place we'll come back to if we are back in town again.

This restaurant gave me all the feels! I felt like I was stepping back in time to a pancake shoppe that my grandparents would have take me to. I loved the nostalgic atmosphere, the fast yet hospitable service and more importantly the delicious pancakes. I wish I had taken more pictures but I was caught up in the moment of enjoying my cup of coffee and cozying up with my kids on a rainy morning. Just wonderful. The wait wasn’t bad. Be prepared to have to pay to park.

Georgia took amazing care of us! It was so busy but we immediately got a seat and she was constantly filling up our coffee and water. The food itself was awesome! As you can see, we had a feast. The chocolate chip pancakes were fluffy with melted chocolate and the sausage…wow! They have house made sausage and it’s savory, lightly spicy, and matched with what we ate. They will get you in and out rapidly! Also, the french toast is deep fried and dissolves in your mouth. 😍

We LOVE breakfast places and Hot Springs has no shortage of them, but when we saw reviews for The Pancake Shop we knew we had to try it. We went at about 8:30 on a Friday morning. While there was no wait, we did accept spots at the little bar they had. Be warned that the Pancake Shop is known to have a wait but they'll take your name down and come outside and call for you, even at the 2 shops next door on either side. The staff was very nice but it's about elbow room only. The fresh squeezed orange juice tastes AMAZINGLY fresh. We HAD to try a pancake, of course. It tastes like it's made with applesauce. Very light and airy. We had a veggie omelet and sausage patties (locally sources, filling, and not greasy), scrambled eggs and white toast and coffee. I also had grapefruit juice. The apple butter that comes with the toast is also amazing. Highly recommend, they close at 1pm so don't plan to go after noon!!

This restaurant is excellent. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. The pancakes were fluffy and just the right amount of sweet. The coffee was so good I’m going to go back tomorrow morning. We came at the right time as when we finished there was a line out the door. Clearly a local favorite.

Awesome retro pancake place. Feels like the kind of place you would go with your family on a Saturday morning. Buckwheat pancakes with banana were great and fueled our hike through the park. Restaurant is a little crowded and loud.

A Must-Stop Breakfast Spot in Hot Springs! My husband and I decided to stop by The Pancake Shop on our final morning in Hot Springs, and it was the perfect decision. We were pleasantly surprised to find no wait, and we were seated immediately. From start to finish, the experience was excellent, especially thanks to our friendly and efficient waitress, who was simply fantastic. For our savory items, my husband ordered the classic two eggs with a ham steak, and I chose the two eggs with sausage. The difference-maker here is the sausage—it is delivered fresh daily, and I can confidently say it was the absolute best I have ever had. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked, a real standout on the plate. We also split a stack of their famous pancakes. They deliver these fluffy delights with a wide selection of toppings, including traditional butter and syrup, apple butter, and jellies, allowing for a personalized tasting experience. The pancakes themselves were light and delicious, the ideal way to cap off the meal. We genuinely loved our experience at The Pancake Shop. Great service, delicious food, and a cozy atmosphere. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area and would definitely return on our next trip to Hot Springs!

A True Gem in Hot Springs — Feels Like Family This little pancake shop is such a gem! It’s a true mom-and-pop place, and you can tell it’s been around for a long time—in the best way. The staff were incredibly friendly and caring, so sweet to our baby girl and so attentive to our family. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, and the atmosphere felt genuinely welcoming. The pancakes were out of this world—especially the buckwheat pancakes. My husband is very selective about his pancakes, and he said these were some of the best he’s ever had. That alone says a lot! We loved it so much that even though we were in Hot Springs for just over a week, we ended up coming back a second time. Even during the busy fall season, we had no trouble parking and were seated right away (it was a weekday, but still impressive during tourist season). Absolutely recommend this place—love the food, love the people, and love the heart behind it.

The Ohio Club, established in 1905, is a historic bar with a colorful past. It was once a popular hangout for gangsters like Al Capone and Lucky Luciano. The interior is adorned with vintage decor, including an 1880s-era mahogany back bar. The venue also features live music and an in-house restaurant called Eden, which offers brunch in the former bathing room of the bathhouse across the street.
A really neat place that gives you the feel of a 1930's speakeasy. We are from Ohio and once I saw the sign outside, I had to stop. We did not order food but just stopped for drinks. I was impressed by the number of local craft beers on tap, around a dozen. They have quite a few specialty cocktails as well. The atmosphere is great. Our bartender was friendly as well.
Steve K — Google review
The food was okay... nothing to write home about, but the atmosphere? Absolutely iconic. I will note the spicy green beans were SO GOOD. The Ohio Club is dripping with history, and if you're even slightly into vintage charm, mobster lore, or old barroom vibes, you'll be hooked. From the massive hand-carved mahogany bar that was hauled here by barge and horse (yes, really), to the wild stories of gangsters, gamblers, and even presidents hanging out here...this place is a living time capsule. Every corner has something cool to look at, and you can feel the stories in the walls. Drinks were solid and definitely worth the price, staff was friendly, and even though the food didn’t blow us away, it’s still a great lunch stop just for the ambiance and the conversation starter it is. You don’t just eat here ... you step into history.
Rochelle A — Google review
Iconic bar restaurant on bath House Alley. Drinks are a little pricey, they also sell glasses and t-shirts and even charge for small stickers. If I drop $50 at the bar and leave a $15 tip, it sure would be nice if you would give me a $2 sticker. Unfortunately, that's the impression I left with. Next time I'm in Hot Springs I'll give it another shot.
Shenan G — Google review
Food and service were excellent. Our server Ryan was fantastic. Took the time to answer our questions and tell us a bit about the restaurant/bar. Dinner and drinks were great. And the Fried Pies for dessert were the best!
Sherilee N — Google review
Decently crowded when we went for lunch. I haven't experienced it at night or late night, so maybe its different during those hours. But, for lunch, its overpriced. None of the food was bad or anything like that. Just average to good bar food but a few dollars more expensive per dish than normal. Ill try and go back at night for a different experience, but not for lunch.

Went on a Saturday Evening to take the wife out for her Birthday dinner. Really good atmosphere and food. I got the hangover burger and she got the Hawaiian burger we both enjoyed and ate every bite. Got to enjoy some good live local music later that day. Will definitely be back to try out other things on the menu. If you enjoy a good burger and beer this is the place to go.
Austin T — Google review
Not a lathe place but the atmosphere is amazing. If you want to see where a real OG ended up after leaving New York, check it these digs. The food was better than most bar food. The drinks were spendy but well made. The staff was really friendly and informative. We enjoyed this spot and the history is real. Check it out when you're in Hot Springs, Bathouse Row. There are places to get cheaper drinks but honestly, the story of this spot is worth the upcharge.

Nestled at the end of Bathhouse Row, Superior Bathhouse Brewery is a unique gem that combines history with craft brewing. Housed in a beautifully renovated bathhouse, this brewery stands out as the only one located within a National Park and boasts an innovative approach by using thermal spring water to create its beers and root beer. The venue retains many original features, such as vintage tiles and old bath lockers, adding to its charm.
Very cool place. We enjoyed the patio area which was made better on a hot day by the misting fans. Awesome brew selection, honestly had trouble picking one from the flight I got. The food was fantastic, Rose's smash burger with the bacon jam was so good! Love the atmosphere, I've never seen a place that not only allows pups but provides them with a water bowl and has pup options on the menu!

Superior Bathhouse Brewery in Hot Springs uses the hot natural spring water to make their beer. Great outdoor patio and plenty of space. Their root beer float was delicious and next time I’m gonna get the steak sandwich. The share-a-bowl nachos were good. I’d recommend them. Go check out this brewery!
Jake H — Google review
Fantastic lunch while we were seeing Bathhouse Row. The building is gorgeous, with much of it original to the build. I had the Reuben Sandwich (which was enough for two meals) with Onion Rings and it was so good! Be sure to ask for a cup of their housemade spicy mayo to dip them in. My hubs had a Bacon Smashburger with the housemade Mac and Cheese. He loved the burger, but the Mac and cheese was served cold and soupy, even though we were among the first to dine there for the day. They need some serious revamping of that particular side. I also had the Chocolate Fiesta Stout, which was delicious with a pepper finish and the Foul Play, which is a chocolate coffee oatmeal stout. Everything was great!
Christy F — Google review
Great place to grab a bite after hiking in the national park. Beers are made using the water from the local hot springs, so it is truly something unique to this brewery. One other great thing- it’s dog friendly and has meat options in the menu for your furry friends! We started with a pretzel, just because we walked though the place they were making them, and they smelled amazing. Weren’t disappointed. We split the steak nachos since we were just hungry enough to want to eat, but didn’t want to spoil dinner. It was still a lot of food, but very tasty.
Stephanie F — Google review
Ate and drank here several times during our stay. Great beer selection! The food is great as well. Try the buffalo nachos for a snack, Cesar salad if you’re looking for the lighter side. Buffalo wings are the best I’ve had in a while. Cooked correct and a great quality chicken supplier covered with a flavorful spicy wing sauce and a well made blue cheese. I like the darker beers and they actually had a healthy selection. Joining their loyalty club will pay dividends on your second visit- so why not! A must stop when in Hit Springs!
Brook S — Google review
Request Brock if you stop by! His attitude is outstanding and his recommendations are on point. If you need someone to hype up your choice - he’s your guy. Honestly, one of the kindest servers I’ve met in a long time and genuinely seemed to be happy to be at work. People can make or break a moment. He made lunch outstanding. Regarding the venue, your standard brewery and turn it up a notch and add in a little history… the beer list is extensive, with a little bit of something for everyone, including an amazing homemade rootbeer for kids and nondrinkers. Drink it fast as it flattens out quickly once in a cup. Plenty of burgers, nachos, and apps to go around. They have those terrible metal chairs that are everywhere anymore, but I give them points for having the wider ones - they were plus size friendly. Overall, there is plenty of variety and beef is sourced locally along with a handful of other ingredients. Gluten free options are limited, but the Sweet Potato Salad hit home and was totally unique - definitely add the pork on top. It is a little foodie focused with some unique flavors and pairings offered. Burgers and sandwiches can be made over a bed of lettuce as an accommodation as well. The shared fryer limits options for strict GF followers and you should proceed with caution. No GF Beers are on the menu, but cider and other offerings are. Overall, I’ll be back. The service stood out - with a friendly and helpful staff even amongst a busy window. Be patient things run a little slower… it is the south, it is a brewery, take it easy folks, and enjoy looking out the window.

HIGHLY RECCOMEND! We came here 6 years ago during our first trip to Hot Springs, amd it was our first stop when we got back in town for our honeymoon this weekend. Everything was even better than we remembered. Excellent food, the beers brewed from the hot springs are so smooth, and the atmosphere is great. Stopped one last time for dinner before we left town and it'll be our first stop next time we're back!

If you are in the area, this place is a must-stop! The service was great, and the Patty Melt was the best I have ever had (and I have had many). The burgers were cooked to perfection, and the sauce and onions were perfect! GF had the Black Bean burger, which she enjoyed with the seasoning they used. The fries were a solid 9/10: crispy, well-seasoned, and a large amount. It is also dog-friendly if you want to bring your little pooch along for a tasty beer and meal. I had the jalapeno beer, a wheat beer, and a hazy; all delicious.

The Arkansas Alligator Farm & Petting Zoo, established in 1902, is a classic attraction that showcases over 100 alligators and offers a small petting zoo. It's an exciting place for kids to encounter animals of various sizes and personalities, from six-inch specimens to 10-foot-long creatures. The petting zoo features friendly animals like wild ducks, lambs, pygmy goats, deer, monkeys, and even a 100-pound turtle.
This is a great place to visit and take the family if you're coming in from out of town. It was fun to see and pet different animals like goats, rabbits, tortoises, and alligators. The alligator handler was extremely attentive and gave us information about the younger gators. If you're planning on feeding certain animals there's a fee, but it wasn't too expensive and you get a really nice memory out of it. We also got to see a few other animals like lemurs, peacocks, a wolf, etc. The location was small, but it was nice. The crowd size was small enough, and the souvenir shop had plenty of things to take home.
Hector R — Google review
Overall this was a good experience. It was fun for my kids ages 10 and 13. We did pay extra to feed the baby alligators. We arrived on a Sunday early afternoon. It was not crowded most likely due to the high temperatures and it being Sunday. This is not a guided tour or at least it was not while we were there. I think that that would be very helpful if there were people around to ask questions or tell you fun facts. There are some signs up, but mainly warnings. We went through and looked at the alligators, they have some other wildlife there like lemurs, another monkey, and a wolf. The petting zoo was just okay you can go in with the rabbits, and the goats. You get a small tin roughly 5 oz Chex mix to feed the goats, sheep, emu, and donkeys. The rabbits, ducks, and turtles you must purchase lettuce from the vendors there.. and they're hard to find. The person handing out the Chex mixes there but the one to hand out the lettuce and other things was not around. And it's a dollar for a piece of lettuce. We paid extra to pay the baby alligators but the lady that was hosting it with trying way too hard and in the most respectful way I can state was very rude. She was trying to be funny but was being very aggressive and her demeanor was not necessarily appropriate for my children. I was not very happy with her. She immediately made comments about my son's hair being too long which was not okay. Then made fun of him for how he was handling the baby alligator while I realize that there is safety protocols in there where she needs to say and be aggressive or assertive to protect the animal and you She did it in a very callous and mocking way instead of a respectful way. I declined feeding them and I wanted my son to take my spot and she argued with me that I should be the one to feed it and I flat out said I'm here because of my son it's for him so I'm letting him take the feeding turn. I felt like I was having to argue with a grown person and I was very annoyed. We then left there and went to the gift shop. The gift shop was cute they had lots of cute stuff the people that were working there were very helpful and knowledgeable about all the items that they had and we did enjoy that part very much. Overall it is a very neat experience, I would highly suggest More signage outside with descriptions, or fun facts. Again not bashing this place. This is just an honest review from somebody that does go to similar places and in comparison to others this one I found to be lacking in customer service in the outside, and overall enjoyment because you didn't get to learn anything about the animal unless you were reading an old article inside the store. Overall like I said, this was a decent experience. I'm not sure that I would ever go again.

Went when I was a lil girl. When my hub wanted to go today I was kinda like “I guess something to do”. OMG it was so much fun. I love the animals and this made my day. Goats, sheep, donkeys, wolves, birds, and oh yeah, lots of gators. The biggest one over 800 lbs!! The girl handling the baby gators was so brave and informative. Learned a lot on gators. Really cool. The wonderful employees helped even helped me look for my lost wallet! Thank you. Definitely go there when in town and pet the animals. They love it (the furry ones, not the gators lol)

We were visiting Hot Springs from out of town and made sure we arrived on Thursday before noon to experience the alligator feeding. Brandon was a great guide and it’s clear he is very passionate about alligators and wildlife. He gave special attention to every question asked and you can tell he loves what he does. The rest of the staff were super kind and friendly and accommodating. I had read some mixed reviews about the farm/petting zoo so I went in with low expectations but the petting zoo was a great outing for our family. Highly recommend!

It was good family fun. The Donkeys were so cute and and friendly. The Petting zoo was so much fun. Lots of animals to love on. You can even hold a baby alligator. We will come back!

I must give a five star for the cleanliness and humane way the animals are cared for. This place has been here since the early 1900s. The same family has owned it since 1946. Friendly people, cool souvenirs, and fun to hold the alligator!

Super neat for the whole family! Alligator feeding and speech was cool. You get to hold a baby alligator, that was super fun! Stroller friendly but there are mostly rocks. Plenty of animals. Peacocks, a monkey, wolves, gators, goats, emu, birds, chickens, ducks, lemurs and more!

The Avenue Restaurant At The Waters Hotel offers a contemporary setting with a focus on American classic dishes and cocktails. It has received the TripAdvisor 2019 Certificate of Excellence Winner. The menu features a variety of delectable items such as Crab Cake Starters, herb-crusted lamb chops, pan-seared salmon, and Pomodoro Primavera. The restaurant provides a classy atmosphere with options for both people-watching by the windows or enjoying privacy at high-top tables.
The food at The Avenue was absolutely delicious! The eggs Benedict were perfectly prepared. It was rich, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The real standout, though, was the roasted potatoes—soft and pillow-like on the inside with just the right amount of crisp on the outside. The atmosphere was equally delightful; warm, inviting, and the perfect setting for a relaxing brunch. Can’t wait to go back!

We went here for dinner. Headsup, if you're hungry and want your food to be available fast, this is not the place for you. We were told to sit anywhere. As soon as we sat, the server gave us water and took our orders. Thats when the waiting game starts, we ordered the ossobucco and the broken beef meatloaf, server said it will take 25 mins which we are initially ok. So we ordered crab cake as appetizer. That took about 30 mins before it was served to us. The crab cake was so good. You can actually see big chunks of crab meat on it. It took another 20 mins from the time time that we finished the appetizer to the time my entree was served. Ossobucco was fantastic, it was so tender and flavorful. The collared greens that comes with it was tad salty for my taste. So it took almost 1 hour for us to get our entree in total. Dont get me wrong, the food was phenomenal but with the wait time, i dont known if its worth it.

THE WATERS HOTEL- AVENUE RESTAURANT we stayed at this hotel during spring break. the hotel was fine, food tasted fine, unfortunately we got downstairs at 10:00AM for breakfast and had to wait TWO hours for our food. we had to request a late-check out due to their service and it still wasn’t enough, we had to rush upstairs to get our luggage. there were only 3 other tables in the restaurant. didn’t make sense. public customers who were NOT staying at the hotel arrived, got seated and served food before we were ever helped. service on the rooftop bar was terrible as well, the same two people serving at the bar were the same two people serving breakfast. for $700+ per night we definitely expected a different experience. we will not be back. waiting two hours for food is NOT WORTH VACATION TIME. they were also out of gravy and jelly.

Funny, had to go to Hot Springs to get the best crab cakes. Meat loaf was delicious, made fresh, never frozen. Everything on menu was great. Chef is amazing and very friendly. If you looked at old reviews, disregard. New cook and staff, also bar upstairs is great now Hotel is real piece of unique history. Don’t miss the Ohio club next door. This was about 1 month ago. Thanks Chef. Pictures: No Urinal is clean it’s original. Ohio club and hotel rooftop bar.

We sat for about 15 minutes without any service while the wait staff argued over who would take our table. The table behind us arrived after we did, yet they were served drinks and placed their order right away. When we finally got up to leave, no one acknowledged us. I asked if anyone was planning to serve our table, and the response was that they were still trying to figure it out. It was especially disappointing because we were greeted so warmly by the host, but the experience ended with us walking out without ever being served.

Went here about 10am for Brunch New Year’s Eve, table of 2. I was looking for somewhere that had Shrimp and grits and could nail it and they definitely did. My love got the Birria Chilaquilles it was an amazing flavor for everything in one bite. We also had one cocktail each. They are seasonal. The waitress we had was very enthusiastic and tentative. Definitely will be back

We had an extremely pleasing experience at this restaurant. The staff made us feel welcome, when we walked in the door, without sounding forced. Within no time, we had water on our table and a drink order. It was a hot day - this had much more importance than it otherwise would. I ordered a martini while my partner ordered a blackberry bramble. The martini was excellent and I had a sip of the blackberry bramble - it was good. For food, I ordered The Avenue omelet (it contained cheese, onion, potato, and shaved ribeye), my partner ordered the dish with eggs, tortilla chips, and some meat (a chilaquiles dish?) it looked delicious and she said it was filling and wonderful. The decor accented the space well, the lights were low-key and had a color that highlighted the art work on the walls - the atmosphere was perfect.

The owner of this establishment needs to step in with the staff. When you have to stare at employees standing around talking, while getting ZERO service, and they do everything they can to not make eye contact, it's an embarrassment (we were seated, and after more then 15 minutes were never spoken too and another table was seated 10 minutes later and got waters and ordered food while we were still waiting for the first person to speak to us) . I wish I was a vulgar, outspoken patron that would have stood up and made a scene, but that is wholly unfair to the other customers that are paying for their meal. This is the first time I have ever stood up and walked out of a restaurant. The management of this establishment needs to step in to correct this restaurant before I would ever imagine going back.

Latin American restaurant
Restaurant
Rolando's Nuevo Latino Restaurante is a vibrant dining option that offers a fusion of Latin American flavors in a charming setting. Located on the outskirts of Hot Springs National Park, this restaurant was established by Rolando Cuzco, an Ecuador native. Housed in a historic 1800s building, the interior exudes warmth while the outdoor patio is adorned with enchanting tree lights.
What a delightful surprise Rolando’s was! It was a lovely evening, so we decided to sit on the patio. As we climbed an interior staircase, we were a bit skeptical that there was a patio, but after the upstairs door opened, we were welcomed into a beautiful “secret garden,” replete with live guitar music and fairy lights. Our adorable waiter, Grayson, was warm and friendly, solicitous and competent; he made us feel like valued guests. He recommended dishes he thought we’d like, so we took his advice and got Pollo Bohemia and Shrimp Enchiladas. Both were excellent and artfully plated. We’d definitely return!

We were visiting Hot Springs and decided to eat at Rolando's. We were quickly seated. Afterwards, we don't know what happened! They struggled to get us a waiter( for a party of 3), then from that time to when our food was brought to us, it took 1 whole hour. That God for the chips and salsa. Now, at some point, the manager came to tell us that they had an issue with the printer in the kitchen and that our food was going to be out soon. We waited. Finally, the food came out, and I could not believe my eyes!!!. 2 of us ordered fajitas, and the other one a burrito( the burrito was served right and properly and it looked amazing on the plate). The fajita meat were just thrown on the plate, on top of the rice, the beans were on one side looking unappetizing, there was almost no grilled bell peppers , just look at the pictures!!( the "fajitas" plate was mine. That picture was taken right after they served it to me).Is this the way to serve fajitas? Is this the way to serve customers? I don't care what was going on in the kitchen, it should have been handled delicately in a way that the customers are not caught in the middle of it. The one stars I gave was due to our waiter who was phenomenal and went beyond to make up for the wasted time and the food presentation. They did tell us that the food was on the house but still at that, it does not justify the fact that you will just throw the food anyhow on the plate.

Delicious Food & Great Patio Experience We were quickly seated on their patio, which was super nice and such a great spot to relax. Our server, Paul, was very attentive and helped us navigate the menu — excellent service! The salsa here is absolutely AMAZING, and the food feels very homemade and authentic. We ordered the beef nachos, the Cuban plate, and the Cuban sandwich — everything was flavorful and satisfying. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with great service, great food, and a really cozy patio atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

In Hot Springs fora couple of days to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and Rolando’s was suggested for dinner by a staff member at the Arlington Hotel across the street. What a culinary gem! The restaurant area downstairs was full of character, but given the choice by the very cordial hostess, we were seated upstairs in Rolando’s SpeakEasy. The Cuban sandwich was excellent, as was my daughter’s more traditional Latin American entree. Guac and cheese dip were amazing as well. Felt like we’d stepped back in time as we dined among Al Capone photos on the wall. Our server “Dustin” was beyond wonderful, as he explained the menu and the place’s history, and ensured we were well taken care of, and having fun. It was a bit chilly and damp for the patio, but after dinner, we had to check it out. Beautiful cozy garden area with lights everywhere, including in the trees. For historic charm and character, delicious cuisine, and a unique experience, you must try Rolando’s.

Rolando's Nuevo Latina restaurant in Hot Springs offers a delightful culinary journey with a unique Latin American flair. The menu features a diverse range of dishes that go beyond typical Mexican fare, incorporating flavors from various South American and Caribbean cuisines. Cuban sandwiches, enchiladas, quesadillas, and a decent size kids menu. On our recent visit, despite the dining room being quite crowded, the atmosphere remained pleasantly mellow and not at all noisy, allowing for easy conversation. What truly impressed us was the incredible dedication of the young woman (blonde) who seemed to be managing the entire dining room by herself. She was a whirlwind of efficiency and grace, taking orders, delivering food, and clearing tables with remarkable speed and a friendly demeanor. While it was clear she was working incredibly hard, she never faltered and provided excellent service to every table. In fact, there was a group of 15 people that came in when we were finishing up our meal. One of the male customers was especially rude to her, but she remained calm and was extremely professional. The food itself was fresh and flavorful, with standouts like their distinctive black bean and corn salsa served with complimentary chips. Super good! We passed on the often-praised guacamole but we’ll have to get it next time. We were in a hurry today. We had chicken and cheese enchiladas, beans and rice. The cheese was outstanding! If you're looking for something a bit different and appreciate a truly dedicated staff, Rolando's Nuevo Latina is definitely worth a visit. Just be prepared to be impressed by their hardworking team! Great food. And great service.

Bailey's Dairy Treat, located at 510 Park Avenue in Hot Springs, has been a beloved spot for over 30 years. The drive-up offers a variety of delicious milkshakes, malts, sundaes, and classic soda shop-era eats. While the exterior may appear weathered, the food speaks for itself with excellent burgers, onion rings, tater tots, and homemade egg rolls and fried rice dishes.
We wanted a quick bite, from a traditional burger joint and this seemed like the best option. The food was good and hot the spot. The soft serve was not as creamy, but the milkshakes were spot on.

If I could give no stars, I would. I was scammed by the nicest little old Asian man. I ordered 5 double cheeseburgers. 3 small shakes and 1 order of French fries and 1 order of onion rings. I always speak clear English to make sure I am being understood as my in laws are Asian and I have learned to be clear. I got my bill and he had charged me 77.00 and then another 9+ on a separate ticket due to him forgetting to add the fries and onion rings. It seemed high so I added everything. It didn’t come up right. I kept getting 10-12.00 less than his total. I asked him to clarify it. He says I ordered the jumbo double cheeseburger. Again, my son was standing right there when I ordered. No mention of jumbo was ever made. I said this is not what I wanted and he just said sorry and walked off. Now mind you, he could have tried to clarify with me which double cheeseburgers I wanted if he thought I was unclear. He made no effort then either. Obviously this was his intention to begin with which is why he was less than accommodating. So I waited for my food. I received the jumbo cheeseburgers I guess but they weren’t what I asked for and frankly aren’t made the same so I was disappointed. The fries were 4.00 and came in a very small 3 inch container. I got 5 onion rings for over 4.00. The prices are high anyway and I get it, everyone is trying to make a buck and survive. That’s why you would think he would be appreciative of big orders and just keep it in the up and up. Unfortunately it looks like he takes the opportunity to scam people who make large orders. I hope he enjoyed my money, I won’t be back to him again. He can smile all the way to bank this time. Even people who have ill will know how to smile.

We stopped by Bailey’s on our way back to our Airbnb and it was such a treat! You’re greeted by the owner who is kind and has the most genuine smile. We went for vanilla ice cream cones and since there wasn’t anyone behind us we chatted with the owner while eating our ice cream! The ice cream is delicious - reminds me of the texture of Chick Fil A’s ice cream! Stop by - you won’t be disappointed! A little off the main strip but worth the drive!

Via Roma Italian Restaurant is an upscale dining spot that offers a refined and traditional setting, complete with a bar and seasonal patio. This family-owned establishment has been delighting patrons with authentic Italian cuisine for over 30 years, serving up fresh, homemade pasta, pizza, and other classic dishes. Whether you're seeking a romantic dinner for two or a night out with friends, the cozy dining room provides the perfect ambiance.
Via Roma is a MUST visit if you are in the Hot Springs area! The lasagna, probably the best I’ve ever had, was perfectly done with well-seasoned sauce and beef between tender layers of pasta. We also really enjoyed the shrimp scampi that was fresh and delicious. We topped it off with the tiramisu and Irish coffee….both amazing!! The atmosphere is romantic old Italy and the service was perfect. Do not miss visiting this beautiful restaurant!

About a month ago, we were traveling in Charlotte, NC for business and happened upon Via Roma. We walked in just as they were opening and were greeted immediately and escorted to our table. Our waitress, Megan, was not only friendly and pleasant, but was so knowledgeable of the menu and was able to answer any question we had. She spoke to us about where we were from and helped us with our selections. I was so impressed by the food, the people, and the atmosphere. My husband has been back for business trips since our visit and the food never disappoints. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The dishes we ordered were all exceptionally delicious, and the portions were quite generous. Our waiter, Andreas, was exceedingly kind, helpful, and attentive. I trust you will not be disappointed.

Wow! My wife and I were in Hot Springs for the first time and stumbled upon this gem of a place. The minute you walk in you feel like you are in a special place. The service was wonderful, but the star of the show is the food. Just thinking about the flavors we experienced makes us want to go back again and again. Every dish was perfect. Compliments to the chef and to the owner, Adriano, who put such a fantastic menu together for his guests. Stop by, you will not regret it!

Overall This place was absolutely amazing!!! The only reason it didn't get a 5 was because it took roughly 60-90 minutes to get our food. We were absolutely blown away with how PHENOMENAL THE FLAVOR WAS! We were told that normally the food doesn't take that long, so just be aware. Food CANNOT PRAISE IT ENOUGH!! EVEN WRITING ABOUT IT RIGHT NOW HAS MY MOUTH WATERING! I don't know how they do what they do but I wish I could learn to cook like this. I added our receipt in the picture, and you can see what we ordered. We highly recommend our items and the portion size was absolutely amazing!!! Pricing This place is more pricey, so be aware. However, I will strongly vouch that the flavor and the portions make up for the pricing! Adult beverages Strong! And regularly priced. We were happy with the wine selection and their margaritas. Had us riding the wave and having some pep in our step. Customer Service Ange was absolutely the sweetest. At times she forgot to bring out water and some small things, but her coworkers had her back. It was a busier night for her so we totally understood. She is super sweet and had phenomenal recommendations. If you sit in her section, she take care of you with a smile! Parking It's a smaller place so it is a little hard to find parking. So be aware. Reservations I highly recommend to call ahead and make a reservation if you intend to eat here. This place probably gets busy regularly and it's because the FOOD IS SO PHENOMENAL!

What a sweet little gem in Hot Springs. The wine list, massive. The food, made when you order and amazing (huge portions). But above anything else, Andreas was probably the best server I’ve had in a dining experience. He was so knowledgeable on the menu, and really honest about recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed.

Via Roma Italian Restaurant in Hot Springs offers an extraordinary dining experience that deserves all five stars. From the moment you step in, you're greeted by a warm and caring staff who make you feel like family. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality set the tone for a fantastic evening. The menu is a culinary delight, with the Tuscan steak being an absolute standout. Perfectly cooked to your liking, the steak is flavorful, tender, and impeccably seasoned. Beyond the traditional offerings, Via Roma impresses with its unique game options. The venison, elk, and bison dishes are expertly prepared, showcasing the chef's skill and creativity. Each bite is an adventure in taste, making the dining experience both unique and memorable. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Via Roma is a must-visit for anyone seeking exceptional Italian cuisine with a twist. The combination of a caring staff, delectable dishes, and adventurous game options makes it an unforgettable destination.

Oaklawn Hot Springs is a popular destination known for its live horse-racing track, casino with table games, video poker, and slots. The resort also offers multiple restaurants and a new Woodford Reserve Signature Blend. During the city's Racing Festival of the South, it becomes a sought-after breakfast spot and is famous for celebrity sightings. Visitors can stay at the new Oaklawn hotel or The Waters in Hot Springs Village and enjoy rooftop dining at The Waters.
The room was very nice. Plenty of space, plenty of hot water, the shower heads worked, and the soaps and such are nice. The room was a little bit muggy, even though I changed the thermostat set point. I would definitely stay here again. lobby was clean. easy to figure out. I do think it's obnoxious when I have to run the gauntlet through the smokers area to get from the parking lot to the hotel. but that's just my gripe and maybe the rest of the world doesn't care. breakfast was good and affordable.

When you play any table games make very sure you know the rules bc the dealer may not and it will cost you. I played 3 card poker for three hours. The dealer needs a queen or higher to "qualify" their hand, meaning to put their hand against yours. If they do not qualify then you get your play money back and paid out for your ante and the side bets if you have and hit them. When my dealer was not qualifying her hand she would give back my play money but take my ante. I didn't know and she was dealer, so I assumed she was right. Another lady sat down and caught it first hand and called over the floor boss. They called up and she was pulled from table. I never got any money but at that time I was so pissed off that I left table. My loss for your awareness. If I ever do go back I'd sit with the older locals who know the games better than dealers do.

My husband and I had never been to a casino before but we hope that they are all as wonderful as Oaklawn! The dealers were very understanding about our lack of knowledge and helped us to have the best experience by explaining the rules. We played quite a bit of blackjack and had an excellent time! The service was attentive without being overbearing. We will certainly be back the next time we are in Hot Springs!
Felicia E — Google review
Definitely not what I was expecting. Most casinos give freeplay or something for your first time coming, but not here. Didn't get nothing but a card. Plus drinks are not free when you play and I found out the hard way. Already losing money then get hit with a $16 Bill for a crown & coke!!! I could've gotten a pint for that much! So this is definitely not the place for me...I'll stick with Tunica and West Memphis!

We stayed for 3 nights at the hotel and gambled a little in the casino. It’s hard to beat the casino; especially when a winning ticket gets stolen by the hotel maid service. I know, I know, we should have not let a measly $39 ticket unattended in the room but still, it was our ticket, it was our property! We immediately reported the missing ticket, and got the run around right away, and during the rest of our stay. They didn’t even enter and clean the room after. We were told things like: • “Was it supposed to be a tip?” No, it was not a tip it was our winning ticket from the previous night that we did not redeem 1st thing in the morning! • “ I would not have left the ticket on the TV stand if it were me” That one came from the hotel desk. . . That’s true but we did, it was ours and your staff stole the ticket! • “We will look into it, find out the maid who entered your room and get back to you” They did not get back to us, not over he next day and a half before we checked out, nor did they even mention it when we did. • We wrote an email to management and still no response. So, y’all, we would not stay again at this hotel! They do not care about your belongings, which only encourages the theft by the staff.

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend. We had fun at the casino, relaxed at the spa, and had a delicious dinner at The Bugler. The room service was professional and prompt. My only complaint is having used toilet paper and used panty liners in the bathroom drawer in the room we stayed in.

My Fiance and I were staying in the area from Texas. We decided to hit the Casino up out of Pure Boredom. What a Mistake!! The Silk Bartender ( i think Kelly or Kaley) was awesome. All the others Bartenders seemed blasted out of their minds. In the meantime there was an altercation Where Spencer ( Security) did nothing but mock the situation to make it a horrible experience. Completely Unstable and we both felt Unsafe being there once we made it to our room. We will not be returning to Oaklawn again.

Nestled in the heart of Hot Springs, Arkansas, The Purple Cow Restaurant is a delightful family-friendly destination that captures the essence of classic American dining. With its whimsical purple bovine-themed decor, this eatery offers a casual atmosphere perfect for enjoying mouthwatering burgers and crispy fries. Guests can indulge in an array of menu options including gourmet burgers, specialty sandwiches like the grilled patty melt, and refreshing salads.
Oh, my goodness! From the lady at the front that seated us. To the waiter he was accommodating to the max. We never had an empty glass. The food and manager and all employees at the establishment is totally amazing. Every item we ordered tasted amazing and flavorful. The purple ice-cream was vanilla. It made my brain and taste buds a little confused. I loved it. We ordered the everything platter. We loved all the sauces. Try all of them if you ever go. We had the cheese burger and sweet potato fries. I got the oreo pie and my sister had the hot fudge Sundae. The facility was clean and kept up. It's just a pleasant place to eat. I love old fashioned themes. We had a great time. Such a great atmosphere. The manager was so nice and introduced himself to us. This was our fist time and it won't be our last. I hope everyone has a wonderful visit like my sister and I did. I say" Alway try something new you might just like it". Now only 1 bad thing: It might just be me. There was a lady sweeping around my table. I absolutely dislike that. I feel it moves dirt in my food. The waiter told her to stop. I thank him and he was tipped very good. He deserved it! 2 thumbs up.

The atmosphere was welcoming and light. The service was warm and friendly. The food however, was another story. My husband ordered the grilled turkey sandwich and it had almost no meat and the veggies were poor. And the sandwich was SMALL! Not worth $11! My son got a cheese burger, and it says something when he said mcdonalds is better. I got a grilled rueben sandwich. There was little meat and almost no saurkraut. To top it off, my bread was soggy as if it got soaked in water before being served. Therefore not toasted bread. I also got chili cheese fries. Very disappointed. Very little chili and WAY too much cheese. As for dessert, it was good! My husband and kids enjoyed their malt shakes and lava cakes. We would come back for their ice cream menu, but NOT the regular food.

First time that I’ve ever had to wait decades for food. It’s been a long time and gosh the wait was 30 minutes long…. Like dang really. Always go for the chicken finger platter and today tried something new…. BLT. Nope. Cold sweet potato fries. But still great purple shakes.

As someone who has alpha gal(red meat allergy) I was so excited they have a turkey burger that I could make a mushroom Swiss! I was only able to take a bite out of it, I was so disappointed it was so dry it just crumbled. My husband got a buffalo ranch chicken sandwich and the sauce was just not good at all. The atmosphere was a bit off. When we walked in the hostesses was so sweet but one of the waitresses was scolding her over not putting enough chairs at a table that was put together for a party of 12, it was just not a very inviting feeling. I’ve never had this experience here but I will probably not be back after this.

Specialty Museums
The Gangster Museum of America in Hot Springs, Arkansas offers a captivating look into the town's intriguing past. During the 20's, 30's, and 40's, Hot Springs was a popular destination known for its healing mineral waters and illicit activities like bootlegging and gambling. The museum provides historically accurate insights into how notorious American gangsters interacted with the town. Visitors can enjoy guided video tours that shed light on the relationship between these criminals and the innocent local population.
This tour exceeded my expectations! Very informative and brimming full of history. Nice collection of memorabilia. Even my 7 year old and 8 year old found it interesting. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn more about the unique history of Hot Springs and its connection with some of most notorious gangsters that reigned during Prohibition. Also even though I bought tickets upon arrival and did not have any difficulty, if you buy your tickets in advance you’re more likely to get the desired time you would like to take your tour.

I learned so much about both baseball and gangster activities in the history of Hot Springs. I enjoyed it so much I got a couple books about it here and went back to my room and read them. Such interesting history! The museum itself relies heavily on videos to tell the story. You go from room to room and watch a video then go to the next. Each room tells a different part of the story. They were interesting and filled with local people. There was memorabilia in the rooms as well. But not like most typical museums. I feel like it is more about the stories. Enjoyed!!

The Gangster Museum was an unique experience! Our tour guide was a plus. He was dressed in character, full of energy, and rattling off fascinating stories like he’s been living in that era himself. You could totally tell he loves what he does, and that passion made the tour way more engaging. The photos, artifacts, and vintage details were awesome! Everything from old roulette tables to mugshots of the most notorious mobsters. We learned so much about how deep the gangster ties ran in Hot Springs, and it was way more than we expected! The only thing that dragged a bit were the videos. If you're into history, crime stories, or just want to do something different, this place is a must-see for a super affordable price !

I put no wait to get in because youcan just walk right in, but you may have to wait for a tour to start. It is well worth the money. Lots of very cool and amazing artifacts and information!! I highly recommend going there when visiting Hot Springs!
Chris M — Google review
Its ok. But not really what I expected. Mostly pictures on the walls, etc. and while someone tells you information, the majority are videos. The Gangster Museum is really a history of the city as stranger/gangsters began to vist it and go for entertainment. They do have a few other items to tie it together.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ First-time visitors to Hot Springs and we’re glad we stopped at the Gangster Museum! The tour runs about an hour and a half and mixes live presentation, stories, and videos. Really cool way to learn about the fascinating history of Hot Springs and its ties to the gangster era. We walked away having learned a lot and enjoyed every minute. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in town!

Look into buying tickets prior to showing up. If there is a big crowd it will have limited seating in each rooms. Informational and a great place to buy hats.
Faith S — Google review
This is a solid fun thing to do while in Hot Springs. I really liked the interesting information presented and some cool artifacts or props to look at, many of which you can touch. The people we interacted with were all super nice as well. As mentioned in the reviews, the tour itself is uniquely laid out. You go from room to room, listen to a few minutes of the guide introducing the room, then a video is played (around 10 minutes long), then the guide comes back in and talks for another few minutes. Then you get to look around for a few more minutes before going to the next room. You can spend as long as you want in those rooms reading everything if you wanted to but you may miss the tour guide talking about the next room. Also, each room only has like 10 chairs or so, when there is 20 ish people, so you're not guaranteed a seat while that 10 minute video is played. The only thing is our guide, although nice, wasn't really the best guide for this kind of a tour. You need someone with a loud projecting voice, confident sounding, and funny. Our guide spoke real fast and mumbled parts of it. He wasn't very dramatic either, which is what you want in a tour guide to really bring things to life. I felt like I was listening to a college professor again. The first room is probably the most boringest room and video. It made me think, what did I just spend my money on, but it got a lot better. I think if we had a more engaging/dynamic tour guide this would have easily been a 5 star experience.

Bakery
Nestled in downtown Hot Springs, Fat Bottomed Girl's Cupcake Shoppe is a must-visit for those with a sweet tooth. This renowned bakery offers an array of delectable treats that have earned it recognition on Food Network's Cupcake Wars. From the Insta-worthy Salted Caramel to the delightful Lemon Lavender, their beautifully decorated cupcakes are a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds.
Cupcake, cupcake, CUPCAKES! This place has the BEST cupcakes on planet earth. Period! Our crew of 10 went headfirst into the shop with one objective, eat the best cupcakes ever served. And we were not disappointed. The staff were friendly, polite and very attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend the Red Velvet and the Vanilla. If you happened to be in the Hot Springs, Arkansas area you must try Fat Bottom Girls Cupcake Shoppe.

After spending a blissful afternoon at one of the bathhouses in Hot Springs, I wandered out in search of a little something sweet — and that’s when I stumbled upon this fun cupcake shop. I had no idea they were once featured on Cupcake Wars! That little tidbit made the visit feel even more like a hidden gem discovery. Inside, the shop is packed with personality. It’s not just about cupcakes — there are tons of fun t-shirts and quirky socks that practically beg tourists to take one (or a few) home. I’ll admit, I couldn’t resist. 🤦‍♀️ As for the cupcakes, they’re stored in these giant clear bins — a bit unusual. They really don’t focus on the cupcakes which is interesting considering that’s what “made” them (cupcake wars). They have a few sprinkled around some ledges. I picked out a lemon cupcake with lavender icing and a red velvet cupcake (though it wasn’t exactly red) topped with white chocolate icing and Oreos. The icings were very sweet and hardened quickly, giving the cupcakes a bit of a candy-like shell. Flavor-wise, they were pleasant but didn’t quite pack the punch I was hoping for — more sweet than standout. Overall, a bit disappointing. The price is high for what you get they’re small cupcakes (mine were lopsided about 1” thick and the other side MAYBE 1.5”)! Where I’m from you get JUMBO cupcakes that are moist and delicious for $3.50-4.50 each. I guess everything is bigger in TX (okay couldn’t resist that) 🤣🤣🤣 All in all, this is a fun little spot to check out if you’re exploring downtown Hot Springs. If you go in with the mindset of enjoying the playful atmosphere (and maybe a few novelty socks), you’ll have a great time. Just don’t expect the cupcakes to steal the entire show.

Grabbed a couple after hiking the nearby national park. We were hungry, so we each got a cupcake and an icing shot. The cupcake was okay. They keep them in these plastic storage bins, so the wrapper is soaked with the cupcake sugar- I thought this was kind of odd. Like put them in a display case or something. I got the banana pudding and hubs got the chocolate. The cake part of the cupcake was good, but the icing part had no taste, other than sugar. Hubs said similar about the chocolate, no taste, just sweet, so that was disappointing. I’m an icing nut, so I was really looking forward to the icing shot in particular. Oh well, maybe the next shop.

My wife and I stopped by Fat Bottom Girls while visiting Hot Springs for a quick getaway. We love trying new sweets, so we were excited to check it out — but honestly, we left pretty disappointed. We did the “buy 10, get 2 free” cupcake deal ($35 for a dozen), plus two ice creams. Our total was about $58, which already felt steep. The ice cream was the first letdown. We tried the Coffee Lovers and Animal Crackers flavors — both were almost flavorless. The cones alone cost $16, and there was barely any coffee taste, while the Animal Crackers just tasted like ice with no real flavor at all. We hoped the cupcakes would be better, but they tasted like something you’d buy at a grocery store. The cake itself was bland, and all the flavor came from the icing, which was so sweet it overpowered everything else. Honestly, the quality didn’t come close to matching the price. We wouldn’t go back or recommend it — there are much better options for sweets in town.

Absolutely amazing!! This cupcake was probably the best I have ever eaten. My family and I where stopping through Hot Springs, Arkansas, while on a road trip, and friends from all over the United States told us we had to stop at this cupcake store. I was not disappointed!! I ordered the lemon lavender cupcake and it was incredible! I was speechless! The flavors were so vivid and lush! I have had lemon lavender cupcakes before, and this one had more lavender flavor then any other I have had. I had no clue that this store was featured on Food Network, but that made my trip even better!! Ten out of ten for sure! :)

No girls trip to Hot Springs would be complete without a cupcake from Fat Bottomed Girls Cupcake shop. I had a vanilla cupcake with salted caramel topping, which was delicious! Although we each got different flavors, every one of my gal pals thoroughly enjoyed their cupcakes. *I see some reviews where people complain about the prices. I don't find $3.50 for a cupcake unreasonable. Most people pay more than that for a muffin or coffee at a national s-bucks without a thought. These taste so much better!!
Deb P — Google review
Very cute shop. Lots of quirky shirts, towels, etc. to purchase. Lots with inappropriate sayings... cupcakes were good but pricey. We had the peanut butter cup and salted caramel oreo. Both are delicious. We purchased 3 cupcakes and 3 ice cream cones, and it was $37.

Very disappointed in this place. My husband and I just walked in 10 min ago to get some cupcakes while on our honeymoon. I have a gluten and nut allergy so before we ordered, I asked specifically if the gluten free cupcakes had nuts in them and the person working the counter said they did not have nuts in them. I ordered 2 of the gluten free cupcakes. After getting to the car, a few minutes later, I decided to google the ingredients just to make sure, because I was so amazed that they were able to make a gluten-free, nut-free, vegan cupcake. I found an older review saying the gluten free cupcakes had almond flower. So my husband called them less than 10 min after we left to ask. The person who answered the phone confirmed it was almond flour. My husband asked why they told us otherwise and the girls said, “that was probably this morning” and he told her it was literally 5 minutes ago. She just said, “I’m sorry” and didn’t offer to do anything to make up for it. Thankfully, I hadn’t eaten them yet but it was a waste of our money. I don’t care what TV shows a restaurant has been featured on. They need to properly train their staff and not lie to people with allergies. I could have gotten very sick.

Pizza restaurant
Rocky's Corner is a long-standing, family-owned establishment in Hot Springs, Arkansas, known for its Chicago-style pizza and pitcher-poured beer. The restaurant has been a local favorite for over 20 years, offering delicious Italian cuisine in a cozy atmosphere. With its thick crust Chicago-style pizza, it stands out among the town's other great pizza places. Rocky's Corner is also recognized as one of the winners of last year's Feast Month for Best Pizza.
If you’re looking for the best pizza in town, look no further than Rocky’s Corner Pizza. Every time I visit, the pizza comes out consistently perfect! Everything from crispy crust, just the right amount of cheese and sauce, and always piping hot and delicious. You can tell they take pride in getting it right every single time. I usually order to-go, and the service is always quick and efficient. On my most recent visit, I was helped by Delaney (or “D” as she goes by), and she made the experience even better. She was incredibly friendly, upbeat, and went out of her way to make sure everything was just right. Service like that really makes a difference and keeps me coming back.

My husband and I eat here every time we come to Hot Springs, no matter what! Delicious cheese sticks, wings, and pizza. Clean, laid back sports bar feel. Not over priced. Kind waitresses with southern charm. What more could you ask for?

Rocky's Corner in Hot Springs, Arkansas, is a long-standing local favorite, especially for those looking for a taste of Chicago-style Italian fare. It's renowned for its pizzas, with options ranging from traditional Chicago-style crusts to thinner versions, and specialties like the "TKO" (Italian sausage and pepperoni) and "Pizza Bianca." Beyond pizza, they offer a solid menu of homemade Italian sandwiches, including Italian beef and meatball, as well as classic pasta dishes like spaghetti, lasagna, and fettuccine alfredo. We selected the Chicago style with mushrooms. And we ordered fried ravioli as an appetizer. Both were fantastic! The atmosphere was buzzing and a little loud because it’s a popular spot. Portions are generous, and the overall vibe is welcoming to both locals and visitors. While opinions on the "authenticity" of their Chicago-style pizza might vary, it's widely considered a reliable and satisfying option for hearty Italian comfort food in Hot Springs. We loved it.

I'm not a local and tried Rocky's while on vacation. Delicious pizza! Best I've had in a long time! We had a salad, the chicken wings app, and 2 different pizzas. The Ultimate pizza had a crazy amount of toppings and the crust held up well to it. The crust is made in house and made all the difference.

We love Rockys and eat here every time we are in town. They have a great bar. The food is consistent and absolutely delicious. Best sandwiches and pizza. They have pastas and burgers as well. Get garlic on your fries for a whole new experience. Everything is fresh. The servers are always pleasant and efficient. Make sure you stop in at Rockys. You will be glad you did.

We were in Hot Springs for a mini-vaca and found this place online. It was crazy packed and loud, but I attest that to loyal locals (which is a very good sign). Our waitress was genuine and friendly (another very good sign). My wife ordered pizza, although I don't recall which but, it was hot out the oven and outstanding. I ordered the sausage and peppers but, I was a bit surprised when the peppers were slabs of green bellpepper, I suspect cooked separately, and laying on top of the dish. Once I cut the peppers up and mixed them in, the dish was outstanding. Their red sauce is beautiful, thick, and in my top 10 of red sauce. The rigatoni was perfectly al dente. We had a wonderful time and plan on dining at Rocky's our next vaca to Hot Springs!

5 stars for the VEGAN veggie stuffed pizza!! 🤯🤯 PHENOMENAL. It hurts a little when I fall for a chain bc mom and pops have so much heart and uniqueness, but man, they nailed this vegan pizza that I fear for my new years resolutions 😅 A vegan friend of mine actually recommended it with videos to prove how awesome it was so I couldn't resist getting one the coming weekend. The family size was enough to feed two people for 3 separate meals and it air fried back to life perfectly all weekend. The dairy free cheese was so creamy and melty, and OMG the middle was stuffed with zucchini and artichokes (this was recommended, you get to choose but now I HIGHLY recommend it!) and on top were olives, an onion blend, and mushrooms. Sheer awesomeness. I felt like I robbed the place walking out of there the thing was so heavy and huge and baking it at home was a breeze with easy instructions. You can order ahead or there, and they make it subway style in front of you while you wait. For all you non-vegans out there- Beware if you have a vegan friend, they just might feed you this delicious delight and you wont know it was dairy free its that impressive as it is delicious and savory. If you want to order this masterpiece that we did, order it like this: Family sized Build-Your-Own stuffed pizza with dairy-free cheese, inside: zucchinis and artichokes and on top: olives, onion blend, and mushrooms. Your welcome. 🤗

I came in at 7:45 pm. on 6-28-2025. The store closes at 8 pm. The doors were locked. One of the girls came and unlocked the door with an attitude. She did not greet me at all. The staff was very unfriendly and obviously did not want me there. If they are going to lock the doors before closing time, they need to change their hours of operation. These young employees need to learn how to be courteous to customers. I asked the girl if I was bothering them. It was obvious I was bothering them because they wanted to go home early. I hope the owner or manager sees this post and solves the problem. I am very disappointed with this place.

The welcoming staff and relaxed atmosphere make for an enjoyable dining experience. Inspired by the Grateful Dead, this pizza joint is known for its hippie-inspired pizzas and variety of ice-cold beers.
Best pizza you’ll find in hot springs, hands down. I built my own small pizza, mushroom and bacon, and the house made mozzarella cheese really set off this pie! I also got a very well made mixed drink, which I was very skeptical about since it was served in a plastic cup. It was great!

I really enjoyed coming to this place with my family. The waiter was courteous and talented playing his musical instruments while people waited for their pizza to arrive. He was also very knowledgeable about the different kinds of beer offered. We were sat by the entrance which seemed a bit cramped, especially across from the restroom. The food was really good. My kid called it his new favorite pizza place. Too bad we're from Texas and can't drive up for a slice or two. Overall, it was a nice experience with good food. We also got to keep the plastic cups the drinks came in as a souvenir.

Nice place to have pizza. The pizza, the crust and the flavor were great! We did a build your own with jalapenos, which were pickled. That just took the taste to next level for us. The server were kind and gracious, despite our kids making a mess. Only downer is that wait can be really long. But I guess if you want good pizza then you can wait :)

This place is fantastic! We had the Casey Jones, and the Cosmic Charlie pizzas, and a small cheesesticks. The flavors were amazing! The atmosphere is very groovy and laid back, and the service was excellent. It sets back off the main drag and is built up on the hillside. If you visit Hot Springs check this spot out. It has been our favorite restaurant here.

We were STARVING after no breakfast and 2 hours at Quapaw bathhouse and walked up and down the street and settled on this little, literal hole in the mountain pizza place called Grateful Head Pizza and Beer Garden. Considering it was HOT outside, we wanted to sit inside and thankfully they had a table open. They have 4 tables plus bar seating inside and a very charming outdoor patio cut right into the mountain. We had soda to drink and kept our cups. One of us had the small Psychedelic Pizza and one had the Tree Hugger and we ordered a small Cheese Styx. Our waiter, also the bar keep, was SO NICE!!! Just so polite and attentive and he was running all over doing all kinds of things. It was amazing. All the food looked amazing. The pizza was not at all greasy. Obviously cooked in a brick oven and SO TASTY! We highly recommend this awesome pizza shop one block off the main drag.

The restaurant has an extensive bourbon menu with something for everyone. This steakhouse is also known for its delicious French onion soup and crab-stuffed mushrooms. Brunch is highly recommended, as is the chocolate martini!
We decided to try JB Chophouse tonight and I am so glad we did! The food is amazing. The complimentary bread was so delicious, so soft and the garlic pesto tasting butter was divine. I haven't had an iceberg wedge salad in years and this one brought me back. It was so good and worth it. The ribeye steak was cooked to perfection and was full of flavor. The salmon with the rice and zucchini were the perfect combination. Kids really enjoyed the chicken tenders and the fries were so crispy. Definitely a must try restaurant. Friendly staff, great ambience. Super clean and well kept. Definitely recommended.

Also had the lump crab mushrooms and a wedge salad with s perfection blend of balsamic and blue cheese dressing. This is a nice park with some rides and a water park, unfortunately the day I visited there was a storm and the park closed early. However the rides I got to ride were fun, the staff was nice and the park was clean. One coaster, X was closed and they have another wooden coaster that is being worked on and not even on the map right now so hopefully that will be refurbished soon. So I got on 3 coasters which were good. They have some nice flat rides, and the water park looks nice.

We had a great time on our vacation when we visited Magic Springs. We did not have to wait long for rides in both the amusement park and the water park. I was definitely disappointed that only one roller coaster was working, though. Another annoyance was paying for a float for the water park. We did NOT pay for a float because we felt we spent far too much money as is here for many of the rides being out of order. We ended up not even needing to pay for floats because there were others we could get for free. Do not fall for that scam!

We did a Back to School trip for the kids. This park was perfect. Our kids wanted to stay in the kiddie area and the wave pool. It looked like there were big slides and some type of roller coaster that were operating. The crowd was perfect. It wasn't too packed, we went on a Wednesday. I cammn definitely see my family going back to visit this amusement/ water park.
Crystal T — Google review
First time at the park, went ahead and bought a season pass. Could not find any corn dogs but the food was great! I wish they had a cash option because everything except the indoor restaurant won't accept cash inside the park. Rides were super fun! On a slow day the lines aren't too long. Park was clean and there were plenty of staff members available to answer any questions I had and were nice and helpful. I saw that there was a ride or two closed, hopefully they fix it soon!
Corbin S — Google review
Several rides/slides were down and the X Coaster had the safety devices malfunctioning on it while people were riding it. Went to the bathroom as soon as we got there and they were out of soap and paper towels and we got there as soon as they opened. There were people smoking/vaping weed openly around kids. Tons of trash all over the park and most of the trash cans smelled very soured. Not a lot of places to sit in the shade. The kids had a blast though, overall the trip was not horrible but very evident the park has gone downhill some since last year and years before.
Mycalia G — Google review
This a great little park. They have 5 roller coasters on site. One is an old fashioned wood coaster. Then they have 2 water coasters. Then there is the water park side. It has a lazy river, a huge splash pad with several slides and hoses to spray others and a big bucket that drops every 5 minutes or so. The best deal is a season pass. You get free parking. Instead of having to pay I think. $20 to park. Visit twice and you have covered the price of the season pass. You do need to be aware the the life guards are mostly students and when school goes back into session that some of the water rides will not be open for lack of life guards. They have in the past rotated the life guards to different areas to give guest a chance to still use all the water park. Over all not a bad park. It is not 6 flags, but we have been coming here for years and love it.

I went with my sister on 7/2/25 and we had an absolute blast. It wasn't busy, the place was clean and very well organized. We had such a fun time. Highly recommended and we'll be back as soon as we can.

Hot Springs Mountain Tower is a 216-ft. tower with an elevator that takes you up to an observation deck, providing breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and Hot Springs below. It's located near the end of Hot Springs Mountain Trail and offers amenities such as water, restrooms, and snacks. The admission fee is $11 or $9 with an America the Beautiful Pass. You can drive up to the parking lot or hike the trail to reach the tower.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely breathtaking views from the Hot Springs Mountain Tower! You can see the rivers, mountains, and the entire city bathed in golden light — especially during sunset. The scenery is peaceful, the air feels fresh, and the 360° view is just mesmerizing. Watching the sunset from the top was such a serene experience, and the photo spots are amazing! The tower is clean, well maintained, and the staff is very friendly. A must-visit spot in Hot Springs if you love nature, photography, or simply want to unwind and take in the beauty around you.

Great view from the top, lots of history on display boards on the lower floor. Also a nice souvenir shop with a mix of gifts from shirts, sweatshirts, ornaments, magnets, shot, glasses, snacks, and so on. It is eight dollars to go to the top of the tower. And it is wheelchair accessible. To get to the tower, you will also take a pretty scenic drive. Enjoy the drive and watch for wildlife. We saw a doe and her two fawns.
Lisa J — Google review
This is such a beautiful scenic place. Very nice gift shop when you walk in. You can pay to take the elevator to the top (which I would definitely suggest) you won't be disappointed. The view is magnificent. The roads going in and coming out are gorgeous and lots of places to pull over and take pictures. I could go on and on about it but all I can say is if you are in Hot Springs don't pass it up. There's so much to do there and so many trails.
Stacy ( — Google review
Tower provides a panoramic view of Hot Springs and beyond. Stop on the second level to incorporate the history of the Hot Springs and the bath houses. Take time to stop along the way before the tower to enjoy the views. The tower staff were very welcoming.
MTT C — Google review
Beautiful place, all the hot springs are commercialised for hot baths for paid and reserved. Couldn’t see any natural hot springs in the National Park. Very beautiful trails with tree cover. The observation tower/Mountain tower was very beautiful for a Birds Eye view and great outlook points on the way. Nearby is a Marina where boating l, kayaking and water activities which can be a great cool off for the kids and family.
Ravi T — Google review
Extremely popular, but that also means very crowded. The views are one of a kind, and there's 2 levels at the top including one indoor that's kind of like a hot springs museum. The drive up to the tower is also very scenic and beautiful, but expect to be hurried by traffic behind you.
David S — Google review
Great views from on high of the surrounding Hot Springs area. Also pretty good gift shop at the base entrance. There is an elevator to the top. Wheelchair accessible.

Really enjoyed visiting Hot Springs Mountain Tower. The views from the top were beautiful and totally worth it. The elevator ride up was quick, and there’s a small gift shop and some cool info displays. Great spot if you’re in the area — perfect for a short, scenic stop.

Historic Sites
The Fordyce Bathhouse Visitor Center and Museum is a grand 1910 bathhouse that has been transformed into a museum, featuring stained glass and marble. It offers exhibits and films about the baths, providing visitors with a glimpse into its operation from 1915 to 1962. The museum showcases the luxurious spa treatments and entertainment that were once enjoyed in this architectural marvel.
One of the best National park visitor centers I’ve been to! It hosts a 4 floor exhibit full of information for FREE! It also includes a 14 minute short fill which plays every half hour (I highly recommend it was super interesting and funny)! Make sure you make it to the basement which shows the water pumps and the hot spring! The center closes at 5, however the top 2 floors close at 4:45 so plan accordingly!
Emma J — Google review
there is absolutely no set parking for the national park or visitor center and museum. just have to drive around and find a spot along the street or in one of the few pay for parking lots. i didn’t find the museum to be very interesting but it was well done and had a beautiful interior and exterior. bathhouse row was neat to walk by but couldn’t imagine myself spending more than the 30 minutes we did in the museum. it was free entry so if you’re in the area and looking for something to do it’s an cool place to stop but definitely wouldn’t go out of my way to visit again.
Alyssa W — Google review
If you're visiting from out of town, this is one of those places to check out. It offers some history and gives you an insight of how bathhouses ran. Admission was free as my family took a self guided tour. After finishing the tour we even got a nice presentation from park ranger James Byrd. He gave us information about the types of local birds and ended up by giving my kid an activity to work on. There weren't other people who attended his presentation (which was a bit sad), but my family took the opportunity to learn one on one. Overall it's something to check off when you're visiting the area.
Hector R — Google review
My family and I enjoyed stepping back in time and experiencing this beautiful bathhouse in all its splendor. We found it interesting in learning more about the early beginnings of physical therapy and the fascination that many had with what the restorative springs could offer them. It kind of reminded me of the movie “The Road to Wellville.” Definitely needs to be on the bucket list of unique and obscure places to visit if you’re interested in medical oddities.
Laura — Google review
It doesn't cost. When you walk in. Don't be alarmed. It has security guards. They have cute little badges. Its okay. They are there to give you information. This is kinda weird. It is a visitor building. 3 floors of history for the bath house. Truly it seemed like this could've been a horror movie. It's clean, but knowing what it was and the diseases they had. I didn't touch anything. THE tile and stain glass work is truly amazing. There's abundance of history. They have an elevator or you can climb the steep stairs. On the second level is a trivia room and a movie that plays every 20 minutes about the history of the baths. Anyway its really neatand everyone should do it. I dont think kids should go. They like to touch everything. They wouldn't understand it.
T.J. H — Google review
A beautiful look back into the history in Hot Springs. Take some time to walk through the Fordyce Bathhouse whether you do your own self-guided tour, a phone guided tour they offer, or even a tour led by one of the Rangers. I loved all of the stained glass and preserved details of the bathhouse.
Faith M — Google review
Amazing experience! Felt like being in a time warp. Great information and history made you feel like you were there 100 years ago. Will definitely visit again. Don't forget to go the the third floor to see the gymnasium!

Time Capsule! The Fordyce, one of the eight historic bathhouses on Bathhouse Row, is now a visitor center and museum of Hot Springs National Park. We took a self-guided tour of this four-story building, exploring different rooms and displays. The building has undergone substantial restoration to preserve its original appearance as a bathhouse, complete with marble flooring, stained-glass windows, a gymnasium, and numerous bathing rooms. We learnt the science underlying the thermal springs, the evolution of bathing practices in Hot Springs and different medical terminologies associated with this place. Our visit was deeply engaging and impressive.

Granny's Kitchen is a hidden gem in the bustling Hot Springs area. Despite some initial doubts due to mixed reviews, this family-friendly restaurant pleasantly surprised its patrons with delicious and generously portioned meals. The menu offers a variety of mouthwatering dishes such as tomato basil garlic soup, chicken fried steak, mac and cheese, okra, fries, biscuits, and fried pies. Although the service may take a little longer due to everything being freshly made, it is well worth the wait.
Rebecca was the truest form of southern hospitality, a genuine sweetheart and made sure we were very well taken care of! The pancakes were perfect, and this comment is coming from someone who is a tough pancake critic! The Granny’s breakfast special croissant sandwich was a hearty and savory dish! Best coffee and friendly atmosphere! An absolute MUST STOP when in Hot Springs! We will be back tomorrow!!
Ashlie B — Google review
We ate here Labor Day Weekend. I ate breakfast food ( served until 2pm ) my wife got the Gumbo. Both dishes were very good. For dessert we got homemade cobbler blackberry and pecan with a scoop of ice cream it was very good. Also their biscuits are homemade. I would gladly go again.
Brent G — Google review
First of all, Rebecca was really a sweetie from beginning to end, absolutely great service!! Such a nice time visiting w her. I was a lil worried when we walked in as only 1 table in there but boy did the place fill up fast! Food was delicious from the cheesy hash browns w ham to the biscuits w sausage gravy. My husband makes the best but when we travel, he is always looking for biscuits and gravy, he’s never happy w it. SURPRISED—he loved granny’s sausage gravy and has been in the best mood all day w his craving getting beyond satisfied. Huge portions of hash browns cooked to w the perfect crispness to them. Alert: they are closing their downtown location and moving into Higden Ferry Cafe on higden ferry. So go there and ask for Rebecca for great service, happy attitude, to go along with the best breakfast in town!

What a surprise! Almost went to Sam's for a hot dog lunch and glad we didn't. We love privately owned little places and Granny's Kitchen turned out to be one of the best ever. This southern boy appreciates good country cooking. Definitely get the fried green tomatoes. Huge serving and as good as any I've ever had. Real tomatoes, hand breaded. Not the "open frozen bag and drop" kind. Our sides, greens, fried okra and black eyed peas were tasty too. Our liver and onions and hamburger steak and gravy were excellent and a good portion. Sweet tea! Brewed! Denise was our server and she was great. I hear the burgers and PoBoys are good to. Prices are fair for the strip. They do daily specials and breakfast specials too. I was just too full for desert.
Jim W — Google review
This place is run by women and they are extremely great in all the services here! Yes there is a granny! They prepare your meal slower than most restaurants but oooh it is fabulous in all its taste!! Your wait is worth it!"They close at 4 and take the last order at 3:15, so hurry up and go, you won't be disappointed!!
Lori W — Google review
What a great place. The food is fantastic, and the portions are surprisingly large for the price, making it a great value. We tried the tomatoe, basil, garlic soup, the chicken fried steak, Mac and cheese, okra, fries, biscuts, fried pies, etc. All were fantastic. If you are in the historic Hot Springs, go give this place a whirl. Do note that the service is very good, but since everything is fresh made it takes a few. Sit and relax while enjoying the company.
S M — Google review
Skip the overrated pancake places and come down here to Granny's when you're downtown! Very reasonably priced breakfast with amazing biscuits! If we'd had the time we would have come more than once!

Kilwins Hot Springs is a traditional store that offers a wide variety of chocolates, confections, fudge, and original recipe ice cream. The shop exudes an old chocolatier charm and boasts an impressive selection of chocolates and candies. Visitors can indulge in delectable treats such as chocolate, fudge, and the highly recommended ice cream flavors like Hot Springs Mud and Cappuccino Chocolate Chip.
Definitely one of the best Ice cream places. The owner is super nice and puts so much effort into the ice cream. You can walk by and smell the freshly made ice cream cones. My choice is the Toasted Coconut. Definitely the best ice cream in Hot Springs, Arkansas!

We stopped in to get a few sweet treats during our stay in Hot Springs. The place was packed, and there was only one employee to serve everyone. We felt so bad for him, but he remained friendly and took care of everyone as quickly as he could. Since we had ice cream elsewhere the day before, we opted for a slice of the salted caramel fudge, some peanut brittle, and a giant caramel covered apple. The apple was HUGE and very tasty as were the other items. We were surprised to see that there are locations in other parts of the country as well, including one that's not too far from our home. After our experience here, we'll have to try the one near us in the future.

The owner is awesome! Loved every treat I've tried from here, Seeing the boss working at 2am? That's some good dedication to the craft.

Some of the best fudge we’ve eaten! We got several different varieties and they were all delicious. I loved the atmosphere of an old timey candy store. It just added to the ambiance of walking around and checking out all of the shops. I can’t wait to go back. We still keep talking about this fudge!

We decided to stop in for a sweet treat during our walk around Hot Springs. The waffle cones were so good! They definitely need more people working this location especially on a holiday weekend, the line got backed up pretty quickly. The employees were kind and working as fast as they could though.
Faith M — Google review
Delicious!!! But those sweet little treats add up quickly in cost! We bought about 10 pieces of candy and about $8.50 per pound and a caramel apple ($7.95) and ended up spending about $25. The apple was huge and the chocolates are delicious. But it was certainly an expensive snack lol, but who doesn't splurge a little bit on vacation right? there were so many awesome looking candies. I probably would've spent $100 getting a little bit of everything I wanted so I stopped with a small sampling. The buckeyes look great, but they are $2.49 each and I just couldn't bring myself to pay that for a little ball of peanut butter dipped in chocolate. They had a variety of HUGE caramel apples: plain caramel, w peanuts, w/ pecans, and turtle style with pecans and chocolate drizzle. The apple was excellent, but I did learn. I prefer peanuts on my caramel apples instead of pecans, even though I generally love pecans in any way form or fashion. They also have a variety of popcorn and of course, ice cream :-). This is a fun shop with lots of sweet treats and goodies, but it's easy to spend a lot of money for a tiny bag of Yum!

Had taste for ice cream during my stay in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and someone told me to go to Kilwins Ice Cream. In addition to great ice cream, Kilwins has gourmet Carmel apples, all types of gourmet candy. What was so cool about them, they made their carmel apples and waffle cones and bowls right there in the store. You can see them making it right there in the window as you approach the store. The ice cream and carmel apples and turtle apples were so delicious that we visited this store 3 times. Two Thumbs Up for Kilwins Ice Cream!!!

Vietnamese restaurant
The Pho House - Viet Kitchen and Cafe in Hot Springs is a popular Vietnamese eatery known for its warm and inviting atmosphere. The diverse menu offers classic dishes like pho, lemongrass beef bun, and little monster Pho bowl, all praised for their flavorful broths. Customers also love the unique offerings such as salmon Banh Mi, taro fries, and egg rolls.
Listen, if you haven’t gone to the best spot in the entire area, maybe this will help you make good choices in life! The peanut explosion sandwich is off the chain! The chicken is in Pho House special peanut sauce with Arkansas Honey, so juicy and tender, and a flavor explosion! Topped with pickled veg and julienne basil, it is another winner! Lewis Phan is not playing about the perfect bread, but per usual, The Pho House team goes big and flawlessly toasts the bread! Also pictured are our favorite Vermicelli noodle dishes, the combination pork & shrimp and the tofu stir-fry. The staff is exceptional, the relaxing and casual atmosphere with wonderful touches of culture, and the ample portions of consistently fresh scrumptious food make The Pho House my top 5 (it is really number 1) in Hot Springs and within 200 miles! I dare you to try it!

In the cold weather, enjoying a special hot bowl of pho here is truly a happiness. Additionally, I ordered the grilled pork and shrimp vermicelli and crispy egg rolls - all flavors were very delicious. The space with warm tones, gentle lighting, and spacious seating areas is suitable for both groups of friends and families.

Highly recommend. Good amount of vegetarian and vegan options. I ordered Veg Pho and veg angel hair bowl and both of them hit home. Boba was great but was a little overpriced.

If I live here I will eat all things on the menu. Best pho I ever had! They used the Thai basil rather than regular basil, and even have taro fries!!!!!!! Definetely should try hot sake in cold weather!!! And the egg roll even have taro in it! We literally finished everything, and the staff said they had to go to Little Rock to get Asian grocery. A straight 5 stars!

Everything was perfect! Atmosphere, service, food, drinks. The outside and inside are such a vibe--as my kid would say. We're visiting from Texas and would come here everyday if we could! The server was great with helping to pick what to order, he also brought a cute cat bowl for my daughter to share my pho with me. My cherry blossom drink was delicious, perfectly mixed, strong enough but still tasty! The pho was AMAZING, I ate every last bite and wanted to pick the bowl up and drink the broth (but I didn't). Veggies were fresh and perfectly cooked, still a slight crunch even in the hot soup.

First timers and we can’t wait to come back. Jakob, our server, was so kind and personable. Crab rangoons were crispy and delicious. Shrimp spring rolls were so fresh. I ordered the vegetable Pho and added dumplings. It was some of the best pho i’ve ever had. The broth was so flavorful and it was packed full of all the fixings. My boyfriend got the lemongrass chicken stir fry and it was a hit. everything from the service to the food was amazing. not to mention the portion sizes were more than enough! we can’t wait to go back and try something different because we have a feeling everything on the menu is good!!

For all my Caucasian people this is the spot for you. Broth is sweet flavorful. Service is good. For my Vietnamese peeps stay far away from this place. The ingredients are sub par. Bean sprouts served to us were a few hours from being spoiled. The broth was way too sweet. Basil had a weird taste to it. Cleanliness of the tables was unacceptable.
Tru — Google review
This place is alright, not great. For a first timer it might seem amazing and authentic but it far from it. Having eaten pho across the US, the bowls were very small for 15.95 and 19.95 for a large pho which in HS, AR is expensive. Broth was okay. Not enough noodles or meat but then again no room for it. Lastly, the Siracha and hosein have to brought to you in little saucer amounts and not the bottle so that was frustrating. Overall okay.

Mid-America Science Museum offers an engaging and interactive experience for visitors of all ages. The museum's mission is to spark interest in STEM fields through hands-on exhibits, educational programs, and various activities. With over 100 interactive displays covering physics, biology, astronomy, and more, the museum aims to make science accessible and enjoyable. One of its highlights is a giant Tesla coil used to demonstrate principles of electricity and magnetism.
We visited with my 8 and 9 year old and four adults. Everybody stayed busy and the kids had a good time. They loved the underground Arkansas play area. The net was cool but my kids weren't impressed by the dinosaurs and it was a lot of walking to see them. Overall, there was plenty to do and it was well maintained!
Sabrina N — Google review
Great place to take the family and enjoy the day. There's plenty to see and learn inside and outside the main building. My favorite thing to see was the famous Tesla coil. The digital dome theater was also fun. If you come in early enough during the week you can go through the exhibits without too many people. If you're from out of town I would recommend a visit here with the family.
Hector R — Google review
My kid enjoyed it a lot and didn’t want to leave; he cried, "I don't wanna go home, I want to play more :)" Honestly, we also had a great time. Especially the Tesla Show was really awesome. I recommend not missing both shows; you might learn something new, I can promise :)
Dewan R — Google review
In town from Austin. We've got our own science / children's museums of course and the Mid-America Science Museum puts ours to shame. One of the best I've ever taken the kids to. Fantastic blend of interactive exhibits and outdoor areas. We opted to do the Tesla coil experience and it was well worth it; our 2- and 4-year olds weren't super engaged with the learning part but even they loved when the coil itself was turned on. If you're in Hot Springs with kids (even teenagers would enjoy it if they "have" to tag along with younger siblings), you really should try and make it.
Cameron N — Google review
Fantastic science museum with some really unique displays and interactions. With a major focus on caves, dinosaurs and electricity, we happily spent an entire afternoon here with all the exhibits - the highlight of the day was the Tesla coil show. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable, and most importantly very patient with science loving kiddos
Kristen T — Google review
there is plenty to do here for the whole family. even the 1-year-olds will appreciate the visit. me and my family have visited this little gym many times and every time there is something new. there's activities to do inside outside wheelchair accessible, Hands-On activities, water activities, even a show if you don't want to touch anything. if you've never been and you have children, it's a must do. of course you're supposed to take them with you, but if you choose not to and your inner child is calling, it's a fun place.
Todd S — Google review
This was a major hit with our little family. Our son is 3 and he could've stayed there all day. We spent four hours there as it was haha. We went to the digital dome show, and we also saw the Tesla coil show, both were very interesting and full of information. Zane led the Tesla coil exhibit while we were there, and he was very knowledgeable. There are so many different interactive exhibits to check out both inside and outside. If you have a little one that loves dinosaurs, do not miss out on this!
Faith M — Google review
I have visited a few times. I personally think this museum is better than the discovery museum in Little Rock and is worth the drive. There are plenty of hands on experiences and activities for people of all ages. These activities often have an explanation nearby to explain what is being shown or how to do the activity. They have live performances like the presentation on the tesla coil. The Tesla coil performance offers ear protection for visitors who are more sensitive to loud noises. There were employees spread out encouraging people to interact with the activities and explaining how/what the goal is. Felt friendly and inviting.

Funtrackers Family Fun Park is a seasonal, family-owned facility that has been entertaining visitors since 1998. The park offers a range of exciting activities for families, including go-kart racing and an 18-hole miniature golf course. Kids can enjoy Wet & Wild bumper boats with squirt guns, over 50 arcade games, and the thrilling Volcano Falls Miniature Golf course featuring a erupting volcano and a snack bar.
Anyone not giving this place 5 stars is either a Karen or a suck-joy. Our family of 4 adults and 6 kids aged from 6-13 and had an absolute blast. What appeared to be the owner or manager was SO friendly and made sure we had a great time for the best price. We really enjoyed all the activities, especially the Laser Tag, which had the most responsive equipment we’ve ever used. We’re from out of town and seriously are overly impressed with the people of Hot Springs and their kindness to us outsiders.

A few weekends ago I took 2 of my grandsons to play mini golf. They also did the bumper boats. They had so much fun till one of them bumped their head. The man i talked to at the counter offered my grandson a bag of ice for his bump and even offered to refund us 3 extra tokens we had since we were having to leave. The whole place was clean and the staff was very nice. We will definitely be back with my other 3 grandchildren from Texarkana to have some fun.

Had an awesome time! Games all work, super clean! Go karts are fast and the staff friendly! Cold icees and hot soft pretzels— we will be back! Was with my mom and 4 year old.

Nice little gaming arcade to spend few hours with family . They have go carts which are fun. You can ride the go-cart 2 seater with kids. Boat smash is also fun activity for kids.

We got there right at opening and were basically the only ones there. The guy who helped us choose what wristbands/tickets to choose was super friendly and helpful. The other staff were just younger high school kids who weren't excited to be there and it showed. We spent about $150 and both my kids did everything once and we had 10 tickets to split between us four adults. They had a good time!

Took the kids to here . We had blast . Just needed a day of being a kid to with them loves it had a blast

Great family fun. Mini golf , go karts , laser tag and the bumper boats are reasonably priced. However, the arcade is WAY over priced. The games are about 3 dollars and up. Pre play. Good portion of them are 5 dollars. So if you get a 40 card, (they gave you 10 dollars) but that doesn't matter when its 5 a piece. So that goes by rather fast. Stick with the attractions.

Found exactly what I needed. The guy was very helpful. I did have to order speakers and will get them Saturday but he helped me pick the right speakers for my new Technics turntable that I got there as well.

Nestled in the charming town of Hot Springs, SQZBX Brewery & Pizza is a delightful family-run establishment that promises an unforgettable dining experience. This hidden gem specializes in classic pizzas, fresh salads, and hearty subs, all complemented by their own house-brewed beers. The inviting atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for food lovers to unwind and enjoy delicious meals crafted with care.
My favorite spot in the area. I love the aesthetics and the creative use of instruments as decoration and lights. Worth the walk and get a seat in the back. They have a patio too. The gluten free pizza crust was cooked to perfection and my waitress was perfect.

GORGEOUS patio space dripping with atmosphere. My lovely server was attentive and engaging. The pizza was good (trust me, 4 stars for pizza is high from me), but the sausage was the standout! Per my server, I ordered the fungi with sausage. The mushrooms seemed to be canned, which was a bit of a disappointment. If I am incorrect, I apologize.

Went on around 3pm on a Saturday and was seated immediately. We tried the pepperoni chips and ordered the Wide Load Pizza. The pepperoni chips were good a little brittle and hard to get the sauce in but still a good try. When the pizza came out we saw why they call it the wide load… full of toppings and you kinda need to hold it with both hands when eating. Overall our early dinner was great! Would go back again!

I always love discovering places that have a unique vibe, and this spot definitely fits the bill! From the moment I walked in, I was taken by how original and creatively decorated it was. The entire atmosphere has a fun, quirky charm thanks to the items left behind at a radio station, which makes for a really interesting and nostalgic setting. It’s clear that a lot of thought and personality went into the decor. I especially loved the way they integrated musical instruments into the lighting design—using drums, pianos, and other instruments as part of the decor made the space feel alive and full of character. It’s a place that sparks the imagination and makes you want to explore all the little details. Now, let’s talk about the pizza—top notch! Crispy crust, flavorful toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. Perfectly baked and really satisfying. That was definitely a highlight of our visit. However, I do want to mention a bit about the beer. We ordered a brew that was at the end of the barrel, and tasted a bit like soap, which can happen. The bartender was fantastic and quickly offered us a few of their specialty drinks, which were absolutely wonderful. She clearly wanted us to have a good experience, and her friendly attitude was appreciated. That said, I did notice that she continued to serve the questionable beer to other customers. I could overhear some quiet conversations between her and the manager about it, and it felt a little awkward. Hopefully, they’ll get it sorted out. They brew everything in house and these things happen with smaller breweries. I would prefer to be told they are out of a certain flavor if it isn't tasting correct. All in all, this place is definitely worth a visit for the cool decor and delicious pizza. The friendly staff made our visit pleasant, despite the beer hiccup. I’d love to go back and try more of their specialties — and maybe just avoid the barrel beer next time! It’s a place with great potential and a truly creative atmosphere that stands out.

They have KAVA DRINKS! I'm visiting Arkansas with my gf who is from Mena. Im from Tampa which has more kava bars then regular bars at this point and they have kava drinks here!! So funny we stumbled in here and they have a kava menu! Im so excited. This place is such a vibe! 5 star from a kava connoisseur, from the meca of kava bars! Love the back patio! I'm sooo excited we found this! Much love from a Florida kid!

This local pizza place takes pride in its quirky atmosphere. The staff members were polite and attentive. The bathroom I visited was clean. Unfortunately, the gluten-free pizza proved disappointing. The crust was thin and the pizza was slightly overcooked, resulting in burned edges. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for patrons who need to eat gluten-free.

Wow, ordered a “Med” and had delivered to my table the best pizza I have had in years! The culinary balance on top was Michelin review worthy! Usually tourist spots are offering tourist trap prices for basic boring food. This is not that. A true foodies hideout hiding just off the tourist strip. I was equally impressed with their notably freshly brewed Belgian and Stout - both also Michelin quality drinking experiences. So I guess they deserve five stars as a pizza shop - and five stars for their brewery….doesnt fit in a google review. Oh, and our server apologized for it taking so long because the first run of the pizzas came out “too crispy” so even on a Tuesday night 10minutes to close they are trained and conscientious enough to serve perfect pizzas.

Kollective Coffee & Tea is a charming coffee shop located on Central Avenue, offering a delightful selection of 3rd wave coffee and excellent tea choices. The cafe takes pride in sourcing local products and provides organic and locally-sourced food options. Visitors can enjoy dairy-free breakfast options, making it a great choice for those with dietary restrictions. In addition to their beverages, the cafe also serves healthy lunch options from their menu.
Kollective Coffee & Tea is a standout coffee spot in the heart of Hot Springs. Great atmosphere, excellent espresso drinks, and a solid selection of fresh pastries. We visited twice during our stay, and both times the coffee was smooth and well-prepared. The interior is cozy and inviting, with friendly service that adds to the welcoming vibe. Definitely a must-stop for anyone who appreciates quality coffee and a relaxed environment. Recommended for both locals and visitors.

My vegetarian/vegan friends, Kollective is not to be missed! The food is spectacular--with many and varied vegan options. The space is quiet and begs you to settle in for the afternoon! The staff is friendly, queer-quirky and enthusiastic. We so enjoyed our visits to Kollective!

We’re vacationing in Hot Springs and stopped in at Kollective Coffee + Tea after a hike—what a great find! The fall coffees were excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff provided great service and made us feel right at home. With the weather getting colder, it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great cup of coffee. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in town!

Visiting Hot Springs for the first time and looked up coffee/tea shops in the area and this is the most recommended. Went in on a Sunday at 11 am and they were busy! Great food options, very vegetarian and vegan friendly. I ordered an Egg Florence and it seriously was one of my favorite things I've eaten in Hot Springs! The breakfast is better than Pancake Shop, which is a very popular breakfast place just down the street, but I think Kollective's food is much more delicious. Also ordered Halo and Jasmine Lily Tower bloom teas-- both were also fabulous! Only complaint would be the menu size on the tvs-- font is tiny and very difficult to read, and the seating wasn't great. But overall, great staff, food and drinks!

Best coffee in Hot Springs. My husband is a vegetarian and I am not. After stopping every morning for coffee, we finally tried the food on the last day of our trip. Wish we did it sooner, because it was fantastic. We both enjoyed it very much.

Located just a block away from the popular Pancake House, Colonial Pancake & Waffle House has been serving delicious breakfast and lunch since the 1950s. The authentic retro atmosphere adds to the charm of this favorite downtown spot. With an amazing menu offering tantalizing combinations and bottomless cups of coffee, it's a much better alternative to waiting in line elsewhere. Visitors rave about the high-quality food, with one claiming it was the best waffle they've ever had.
This place is absolutely AMAZING! The staff is so kind and very efficient. Upon entering this place I had no expectations, but somehow they were surpassed. The atmosphere was so cozy. Reminded me of eating at your grandmas house! The hostess was on top of everything. She was very helpful and so lovely. Wasn’t a horrible wait and definitely worth it. The food was so delicious and such a great price. I honestly don’t think I have ever eaten something so fast. Yeah I was hungry, but it was just SO GOOD!!!! I got the Adult Deal (no eggs) with 2 chocolate chip pancakes and bacon. I would come back to Hot Springs just for this place, definitely would recommend it to anyone.

If you are a tourist visiting.... just get the waffles. High prices for a subpar breakfast. $10.50 for a very small plain breakfast burrito was highly disappointing. Also, maybe skip ordering something with shrimp. The service was the best part of the experience. My coffee cup never went empty, and our server was nice. I don't usually give low star ratings, but for a place on the strip, it was a lot underwhelming.

Why this was our first time visiting here, I don't know. It definitely won't be the last. The food was delicious, the staff was pleasant. They gave us a beeper while we waited for a table so we went to the Kringle's shop next door. Waited about 15m. Parking isn't the best but worth the hassle.

This place has been in business since the '40s and the location is very small. So if you go on the weekends, good luck getting a table. If you're visiting downtown and want to go to it, I would suggest going on a weekday, but after the morning rush. We split one of their combo meals and do have to admit that it was quite tasty. Excellent ham and bacon and the gravy was just like Mom makes. However, it wasn't as great as some other places we had during the week. I feel like it's overpriced for what you're actually getting but you're buying into the history. Interior is definitely dated but that's part of the kisvh....

Our waitress was nice. Considering how long it took to get our food, I kind of expected my eggs would have been cooked. I would have also expected that they would have had a BATHROOM. They did not. I was advised to walk three doors down to a sparsely stocked candy store, stroll to the back of the store and use their bathroom. What kind of restaurant doesn’t have a bathroom??

Overall: This place was nice and affordable, but it wasn't special to me. I can see people extremely loving this place, but out of all the stops we went to during our visit, this just was our least favorite. Again, I think you should try for yourselves, because I can see people loving this place. But I do not believe we'll return again. Food: Good portions, and decent taste. Just wasn't anything worth writing home about. My girlfriend didn't like her French toast so that also was the bummer for her based on the other place down the street whose French toast she absolutely adored. My food was decent and I ate the full thing. Staff: Absolutely the sweetest thing in the world. This review hopefully does not reflect on them negatively at all. They were super sweet, super nice, had great suggestions and was knowledgeable of the menu. You can tell they love what they do. Military discount: Yes. I think roughly 10%.

Best waffle I’ve ever eaten!!! That’s a big statement for me because I am a waffle snob!! lol My breakfast was amazing! The eggs and bacon were made perfectly! You can tell that they are high quality items by the taste! My husband had corn beef hash and he said it was delicious. He was hooked on the rye bread!! He would give his breakfast a 5 stars as well!!! Our waitress Alicia was a very sweet waitress who was engaging and a really nice person to talk to! Thank you Alicia for your amazing service!! My husband and I would highly recommend this place even if there is a wait!!! You won’t regret it!!!

The food was fine and I don’t eat a lot, so I don’t need large portions. The service is just so…weird. I think the hostess and the blank stare server must be related. They have no discernible interest or personality in service, which is fine; I’ve waited breakfast tables and I’ll always tip even if you don’t smile or offer ketchup or hot sauce. But awkward is awkward and it doesn’t make me want to come back. It’s very popular and I’m sure they turn away a lot of tables with no consequence. I thought Daphne at the English Muffin was the best breakfast waitress I’d had in a long time so that’s where I’ll breakfast in Hot Springs if I go back there.

Visitors praise the stunning views from the restaurant and rave about the delicious food.
Brought a group of high school students here for early supper around 4pm on a Thursday. We had slight difficulty finding the place, had to park around the corner and walk back, but it was a pleasant walk. The place was not busy at that time of day. They accommodated our group beautifully. Service was great and the food was delicious. Prices are good, comparable to other places of the same style. Would definitely recommend Colorado Grill!

Stopped in for a light supper before going to an event later. We both got the soup and taco combo. We both chose the Aztec soup. It said spicy broth but it wasn't spicy so much as just flavorful. There was a lot of chicken! The veggies were crisp. The taco was a soft taco and we could choose between chicken or steak. Not a lot of meat but again there were crispy veggies. The cocktails looked good but we had to pass, sadly. Will definitely get one next time .

First time going to Colorado Grill. We both love Tex Mex and enjoyed our meal with excellent service. The restaurant is big and very clean. However we had a hard time finding it and drove around the block twice, but now we know. I would have given it 5 stars, but I thought it was crazy to charge an extra .99 for the few chopped onions on my enchiladas.

I got the small Denver nachos with no sour cream, and the Italian Rita. I absolutely loved the experience here, probably because I came on a Thursday at 2 pm, but still. The Denver nachos filled me up and were delicious! I even had a little left over, however if your extremely I would go for the large. The presentation for the nachos was unexpected but was still exceptional in placement. If you think you can order one margarita and be fine to drive afterward, this place is not for you. Their margarita was STRONG but i absolutely loved it and finished it. After the margarita I felt more than a buzz so I would keep that I mind. The salsa is not too spicy but not too mild, it was so good I had to stop eating to make room for my meal. My waitress was exceptional as well. Sometimes you can feel as though a waitress is trying to rush you out, but not mine. Her name was started with D, but I can’t quite remember. But overall, I will be coming back!

Fast service, awesome food! I get a smothered chicken burrito in every Mexican restaurant I go to, so comparison is easy. This was definitely near the top. Also, each individual receives their own bowl of salsa with the chips that come out pre-meal.

The restaurant was nice on the inside. I wasn’t a big fan of their salsa but the food was pretty amazing. I ordered the Bronco Burrito and really liked it. The service was pretty good and we had a minimal wait for food for a table of 8 people. There was no wait to get in the restaurant. Definitely worth stopping by in you’re in the downtown area and want to eat off the main strip!

Cajun Boilers is a laid-back restaurant known for its fried and boiled seafood, classic Cajun dishes, and draft beer. With 34 years of experience, it continues to attract patrons with its affordable yet delicious food. The menu offers a variety of options including burgers, sandwiches, salads, pasta, steak, chicken, oysters, and crawfish. The appetizers are tantalizing and the desserts provide a perfect conclusion to the meal.
It doesn't get any better than this! The food was cooked perfectly, the flavor amazing! Best fried and tender gator we've ever had! The batter on the shrimp, crawfish, and catfish was thin and perfectly seasoned. The hush puppies were the most tender, fresh, and flavorful, we've ever had. It was worth every penny we paid and the best Mother's Day supper ever! A whole lot of yummy lipsmacking goodness! We highly recommend Cajun Broilers!

Don’t let the parking lot fool you. The inside is huge. I was glad that we checked to see if there was a wait time bc there wasn’t! Great job on the Reno, friendly hostess, got right in at 6:00 pm on a Saturday. Brandi was our server and she was great! She did a really good job on checking in with us while we were waiting on our food. Very bubbly, upbeat personality !

They recently remodeled. Wow. It looks fantastic, the patio is set back from the water a bit but still on Lake Hamilton. The oyster's on the half shell are choice. We ordered the grilled garlic ones, they were excellent, but only ordered a half dozen. For the price ummmmm but still yummy. Had the Cajun Boil w crab legs, shrimp and crab claws. So freaking good. Drinks are excellent. Hold off on the Bloody Mary, could have been better but overall loved it. 2 orders of oysters and the seafood and drinks ran close to 200 but it was expected. Our waitress was really on top of everything despite having us as a table away from what she had going on inside. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The newly remodeled Cajun Boiler is beautiful! It has a warm, calm decor that reminds me of old New Orleans. They were playing blues in the background which was nice. It has a great “feel” to it and looks out over Lake Hamilton. I had the half order of thin cat with super good side salad(cold fresh and crisp) not a speck of brown lettuce! The catfish was seasoned perfectly and my baked potato was perfectly cooked. They have live music occasionally out back on the lawn! Definitely worth a visit in Hot Springs!!! I was hungry and forgot to take photos when my meal arrived!

We have ate here several times in the past and loved it! However, that has changed. Now Cajun Boilers has new owners, and I will say I love what they did with the place, but the food was a huge disappointment! No flavor, mine was cold, my husband's crawfish had way too many straight tails that couldn't be eaten. Probably won't be back.

McDonald's is a well-established fast-food restaurant famous for its delicious burgers and crispy fries. Despite not being a fan of fast food chains, the exceptional service and accuracy of orders at this establishment have left a positive impression.
I hit the drive thru only. Does have good food in my previous experience. This time I only needed a glass of ice water for my dog who was in the car with me. They didn't charge me like some places do since it was for my dog and they all made sure to tell him hello also. Thanks staff!

Ordered my food inside and waited a long time , my food set for 10 minutes after it was ready. No one called my name or number . I was told it was because I didn’t say anything . She was a manager. Typically they will call your number when your meal is ready. Apparently in AR service is non existent. Not like I was asking for much . Just tell me my order is ready but they’re too busy gabbing and gossiping instead of making sure their customers inside are taken care of by simply letting them know their order is ready. Check your cameras and you will see they are not working neither helped me. Visited at 04/23/25 at 2:15pm-2:35 pm. Togo order . Half fries , burger was well put together . So whomever is doing the sandwiches is doing their job. Management needs replaced and fries a junk!

Ordered my food. Got pulled up to wait. They forgot about me. I went inside, they found my food. Decided to give me new fries since they had gotten cold. They asked me twice what my drink was and they confirmed with me that I wanted Coke. I had to go back to work after waiting that long and my food was still cold and the drink was a Dr Pepper. Go to Cooper St McDonald’s it’s much better.

I usually never have a problem with this location until recently. The iced coffee for the price is pretty good. Until one day my nephew said something is not right with the coffee he gave me a taste and I said that's burnt not long after that he got pretty sick. I said you should call and let them know. The next morning I got my usual and it was burnt as well. When I called and spoke with the assistant manager and told her about mine and my nephews experience she agreed to replace our coffees and apologized. About a month later I got my usual and my nephew went to pick it up through the drive through and the cashier said pick up or we dont like to fill her orders. Now ive contemplating calling corporate but instead. I thought I should just post on here. I've not been back to this location as who knows what would be done to my coffee.

This is the McDonald’s closest to my house so we go semi-frequently. Besides a select few everyone who works here is rude. I go out of my way to be extra polite to fast food workers and try to thank them and just be as nice as I can. Every. Single. Time. I am met with some rude attitude. I told a man thank you THREE times when he was giving me my drink and bag, all I got in return was a glare. Not sure what their deal is but it’s pretty frustrating considering 75% of the time when I get home my food order is wrong or flat out missing items. Tonight I got McNuggets for a kid. I ordered on the app and selected sweet and sour with the happy meal. I also added an extra sweet and sour, so paid extra for it. At the window I asked the lady if the sweet and sour packets were in the happy meals. She rolled her eyes and said “here I’ll just get you one”. Well, good thing I asked because lo and behold, not a single packet in there besides the one I specifically asked for AND I’m missing two of the 4 cheese burgers I ordered. So now I’ve paid for two burgers and a packet of sauce that I didn’t receive. Usually I’m not this petty but honestly if you’re going to have a crappy attitude the least you can do is the bare minimum of ensuring all of my food was in the bag. So I’m met with attitude because I asked to ensure I had my items that I paid for and guess what.. I don’t. This place seriously needs new management and a new staff who are actually happy to have a job. I understand it isn’t the best job and people are jerks but I have never been nasty to them even though they have screwed me out of food, aka my hard earned money, on multiple occasions but if I dare speak up or call them, I’ll be labeled a Karen. Cheap food or not, doesn’t matter. It’s still my money!

I came through before closing time and I was told at the pick up window the tea was out but the guy who I'm assuming is a manager (based off the shirt he was wearing) named Taylor was super nice apologized for the inconvenience and gave me a large chocolate shake besides getting the delicious shake his customer service was excellent, he had a smile the whole time while he was handing everything out of the window, he was super nice and very polite.

Very very disappointed in the customer service. But mainly disappointed that my mcchicken sandwich was ice cold in the middle but hot on the outside. ( which they must've cooked the chicken on high in order for this to happen ) I understand when the store gets busy and yall have a rush, BUT DO NOT undercook the guest food so you can get the drive through line out of the way!! My family and I could've got sick. I called the store and they had no interest on the feedback that I gave about the undercooked food. And wouldn't replace the food for us. WHAT A SHAME!!!

The food is pretty good, but they usually mess up the order. Also had to wait a bit for food and cashier.😐 Pretty good overall though.

Park
Lake Catherine State Park is a 2,240-acre scenic area that offers various outdoor activities such as fishing, boating, and hiking. The park boasts beautiful waterfront cabins constructed in the 1930s. It features easy-to-navigate trails and a stunning waterfall that visitors can enjoy. The park is well-maintained with benches near the lake where people can have lunch while admiring the breathtaking views of nature.
Absolute gem. Helpful and friendly at the visitors center. Kayak kiosk was easy to use. Beautiful paddle to the Fall River Falls. Then we hiked the Fall River Falls trail. It was 2 miles. If you hike away from the falls first then it’s a moderate hike. The first 1/3 of a mile or so you crisscross a beautiful stream. The next 2/3 are mostly woods. The falls are amazing and the water is ice cold. The hike back to the parking lot is much easier. Mostly rolling flat trail. If you wanted an easier hike you could hike this way in and out.

We camped here for nine days and really enjoyed our stay. We were a little bummed out to be in loop A which was up the hill a little from the lake. However, it was much quieter, larger sites with better spacing and still very convenient access to everything with a short walk. Lots of trails, boat rental and plenty of activities for the kids.

Very quiet well maintained state park. No fee to get in. I was camping but they have a swim area with nice clean changing rooms and a small marina with rentals. I had a water view tent spot. Electric and water included. As a note the power station complex across the bay in full view. Also at night lots of dog barking across the bay as well. ( No fault of the parks). Took about 30 minutes to the National park.

Gorgeous lake and super nice campground! We were lucky enough to get Site 58, right on the water and it may very well be the best site in the campground. Each site has a nice long level paved pad, a picnic table on a paved pad, a stationary lantern hook, a graveled tent pad, water, sewer, electric and a fire ring you can cook on and a Charcoal grill. Each section (A, B and C) have their own restrooms with two clean showers and two bathroom stalls for each sex. There are several hiking trails directly from the campground and you can fish for trout snd Bluegill from your camp site. It's only a 20 minute drive to Hot Springs National Park. We're staying two nights and we're already wishing we would have booked more, as it's already filled with no availability for longer.

I did not realize this place had housed German POWs. The story of how well they were treated and that the POW actually brought his wife to see lake Catherine after the war made me happy. The fireplace is still there and beautiful. The view from behind the visitor center is gorgeous. From the campground there is the ugly factory across the lake which isn't my favorite. The trail was awsome. There wasn't much water in the waterfall this time of year but the view was great. The trail was fun and perfect for a beginner.

Went here late October. The falls weren't really going much but still pretty. This has to be the prettiest park I've been to yet! With the leaves changing the trails were awesome to explore.

Absolutely in love with this place. We hiked to the waterfall, Camped two days in the walk in primitive tent site where Fire pits, grill and picnic tables are set up. Public bathrooms and bath houses are available. They have horse back riding and kayak rentals. Family friendly. It was just me and my 9 & 11 yr old with our dog. We went swimming every evening. We will definitely be returning. Just make sure you lock everything up at night, the raccoons love eating your snacks.

Peaceful and Beautiful Nature Trail I really enjoyed this peaceful 2-mile hike! The trail was well-maintained and easy to follow, making it perfect for a relaxing walk through nature. The sound of the birds and the gentle breeze made it such a calming experience. The highlight was definitely the beautiful waterfall — absolutely worth the walk. Everyone I met along the trail was very friendly, which made the whole visit even better. I highly recommend this trail if you’re looking for a quiet, scenic escape.

Anthony Chapel, located at Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs, Arkansas, is a stunning six-story-tall structure made of native wood and glass. With its floor-to-ceiling walls of glass and numerous skylights, the chapel offers breathtaking views of the surrounding verdant trees, creating an enchanting atmosphere reminiscent of a fairytale forest. The open beam design and towering yellow-pine columns immerse visitors in the majesty of nature.
Absolutely breathtaking! This place is like nothing I’ve ever seen before — truly a hidden gem. The architecture is stunning and blends perfectly with nature, making it an ideal spot for a peaceful getaway or even a dream wedding. I recommend visiting early in the day to enjoy the calm atmosphere and capture some amazing photos in the natural light. It’s beautifully designed, clean, and serene — a perfect place to sit quietly and soak in the beauty around. If you love nature, elegance, and tranquility, this place is a must-visit!

Anthony Chapel – Hot Springs, Arkansas Visiting Anthony Chapel was an absolutely magical experience. It’s truly a breathtaking work of art nestled in the natural beauty of Hot Springs. The architecture is stunning — the way the glass and wood blend seamlessly with the forest around it is something that mesmerizes you from the moment you walk in. It’s so peaceful and serene, I honestly felt like I could have sat there forever. Whether you're spiritual or simply someone who appreciates design and nature, this place will move you. I can’t wait to return again in the fall, when the leaves change — I can only imagine how beautiful it will be with all those colors surrounding the chapel. If you’re ever near Hot Springs, this is a must-see. Photos don’t do it justice — it’s something you have to feel in person.

We visited Anthony Chapel about a month ago on the last leg of a road trip we deemed The Arkansas Chapel Tour, where we visited all three of the big glass chapels (including Thorncrown, and the Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel). Of the three, we actually voted Anthony Chapel in 3rd place. Don’t get me wrong - they are ALL amazing structures, each with their own unique style. For us, Anthony was the least accessible for those with mobility issues (gravel path, not close to parking, slight incline returning), and it was the one with the most activity, so the least peaceful visit. We loved the free roaming peacocks - they were fun to watch! We also loved the ceiling structure of this chapel. It was very interesting. We didn’t find any brochures here that gave info about the chapel as the other two had - details about the building, architects, how it came to be, etc. Maybe they were out of brochures when we visited, but all we found was a bridal booklet with info about weddings in the area. That would be a nice addition. Definitely go visit - and visit the other two as well!!

Anthony Chapel is a breathtaking gem nestled in the woods at Garvan Woodland Gardens. With its soaring glass-and-wood architecture, it feels like stepping into a cathedral of nature—sunlight dances off lofty beams, and forest vistas surround you. Exceptionally peaceful and visually stunning, it’s free to visit (unless a private event is underway) and offers an unforgettable, serene escape. A must-see if you’re in Hot Springs.
Kaushik M — Google review
It’s a gorgeous little walk around. Be aware that it a wedding is going on, you can’t get near. Security will be there. The gardens are $30 per person which might be worth it to some and not to others. Plenty of parking in the area though. It is definitely somewhere to go visit when you are in the area, especially if you are artistic.

Absolutely stunning. Tucked into the woods, Anthony Chapel is peaceful, elegant, and breathtaking in person. The architecture and natural surroundings make it a perfect stop whether you're visiting for a wedding, photos, or just a moment of quiet reflection. A must-see if you're anywhere near Hot Springs — it's truly magical. Follow more hidden gems and scenic stops: @diamond.in.the.rough.78 🌲⛪✨

Amazing architecture! I wish we could have some of these in TX as well. Tip: it is actually free to go here and appreciate the view but check their availability since this is usually booked for private events, you can always visit the Garvan woodlands garden for a fee in case you’re not lucky

Beautiful chapel within the Garvan Woodland Gardens. Amazing architecture and setting. We were confused about entering the chapel. We had read reviews that it was free to enter however we observed security questioning people exiting the chapel area on whether they had purchased tickets to the garden. We did purchase tickets and were glad we did because the gardens were also beautiful.

We had the BEST time zip lining with Kay and Tommy! From the very start, they made us feel welcome, safe, and totally pumped for the adventure. Both of them had such fun, positive energy — cracking jokes, cheering us on, and making the whole experience unforgettable. They explained everything clearly and made sure everyone felt confident before taking off. You can really tell they love what they do, and it made all the difference. By the end, we were laughing, smiling, and already planning our next trip back. Huge shoutout to Kay and Tommy — you two rock!

We did the Halloween Zip Line Tour at 8:00 PM and had an absolute blast! There were a total of 10 zip lines, and it was such a thrilling experience — zipping through the dark almost felt like flying into the void! A huge shoutout to PJ and Nadia, our amazing guides. They were fun, informative, patient, and super attentive, making sure everyone felt safe and had a great time. Their energy really made the whole experience even better! The tour starts off with two easier zips to help you get comfortable before the bigger, faster ones kick in — and that’s when the real excitement begins. We’d never done a night zip line before, and I’m so glad we didn’t miss out. They also have water coolers at perfect spots along the way, which was a nice touch. The whole adventure lasted about two hours, and it was the perfect mix of spooky, exciting, and fun. Highly recommend Adventureworks Hot Springs if you’re looking for something unique and unforgettable to do in the area!

First time ziplining and it was such a great experience! We went November and the colors of the trees was beautiful-- zipping through it was scenic. Tommy and Keeley were our guides, and they were so funny, professional and made everything so comfortable! They really knew how to calm your nerves encouragingly. They really made the experience so memorable! 5/5 would recommend Adventureworks-- no complaints.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience ziplining with Tommy and Keely this weekend! We chose to go in the morning, and the weather was perfect making the overall experience even more enjoyable. From start to finish, the duo demonstrated excellent expertise, ensuring that safety was always their top priority, giving us the Southwest Airlines experience. They made us feel comfortable and confident, providing clear instructions and support throughout the course. Both Tommy and Keely were incredibly friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable, keeping the energy high and the atmosphere fun for everyone in our group. The course itself was well-maintained, and they clearly knew every detail of the layout, making it a smooth and exciting adventure. Whether you're a first-timer or an experienced zipliner, I highly recommend Adventureworks. I would definitely do it again and look forward to more adventures with this team!

I went with two of my girlfriends, all in our mid-60s and first time to zip line, so we were a little nervous. We lucked into having PJ and Tommy as our guides and could not have had a better experience! They made us feel so at ease and we all shared lots of laughs. And the zip lining was a perfect level for “first timers”. So much fun. Thanks PJ and Tommy!!!!

The Maxwell Blade Show in Hot Springs, Arkansas, was an absolutely fantastic experience! Maxwell Blade is an incredible performer who keeps the audience engaged from start to finish. He was especially interactive with all the kids in our group, making them feel like part of the magic, which was such a special touch. The show itself was a perfect mix of humor, illusions, and entertainment, leaving us all amazed. The historic venue adds to the charm, and you can tell Maxwell truly loves what he does. If you’re visiting Hot Springs, this is a must-see show for all ages! Highly recommend!

Sure, we all love Hot Springs, Arkansas for its natural beauty and the restorative, healing spring waters found here; however, you will find that the real fountain of inspiration, awe, and wonder resides within the walls of Maxwell Blade’s Theatre of Magic and Curiosity Museum. Blade’s show doesn’t disappoint. It is exactly what you think it will be and more. He is truly a master of illusion, and his show is the best, most fun experience this town has to offer. You will leave mystified and thinking about the tricks, performers, and show long after it ends. Long live Maxwell Blade and the historic Malco Theatre!

What a fun show in a historic theatre! Everyone in our party (ages 10-51) thoroughly enjoyed themselves, but I think it was probably the 10-year-old's favorite part of our entire trip. Maxwell Blade, his cast, and the theatre staff were all awesome and the theatre itself is very cool. So glad we went! If you see the bad reviews, just remember you're seeing a magic show in Hot Springs, Arkansas - it's not Vegas. We feel like we saw a great show for the price paid and everyone had a good time. :)

The Maxwell Blade Theatre of Magic & Comedy is an absolute must do when visiting Hot Springs! From the moment the show began, I was hooked, laughing at the quick wit, marveling at the jaw-dropping illusions, and completely drawn into the world Maxwell creates on stage. His blend of humor, music, and mind blowing magic is unlike anything else you’ll experience. I left the theatre feeling lighter, brighter, and genuinely amazed. It’s more than just a show, it’s an unforgettable experience that stays with you long after the final curtain call. If you’re in Hot Springs, do yourself a favor and make this part of your trip. Truly a must see!

Must-see Show! This was our second time coming to Maxwell Blade while visiting Hot Springs. The show is so entertaining and we will definitely come back if we visit Hot Springs again! Maxwell Blade really cares about the kids. My son asked him to do his hair after the show and he did not hesitate to get the hair spray. My son was so excited and happy! MB and JE are amazing magicians and entertainers. Highly recommend both shows!

Hot Springs City Visitor Center is housed in the historic Fordyce Bathhouse, offering a glimpse into the bathing routines of the past. The bathhouse has been meticulously restored to its former glory, evoking the vibrant atmosphere of the 1920s and 1930s. Additionally, visitors can explore the Arkansas Walk of Fame, which honors notable individuals associated with Arkansas.
Such a beautiful city. Would love to see when the city is fully remodeled. Me and my family had such a nice time and there is so much to do. It’s just like a mini Gatlinburg. The Hot Springs are nice. The Cold Free water fountain is super healthy and crisp. Definitely a place to come back to again.

Hot Springs, Arkansas, is a truly captivating destination that perfectly blends natural beauty, rich history, and surprising culinary delights. It's a place where you can easily spend days exploring, relaxing, and indulging. One of the absolute must-sees is Garvan Woodland Gardens. Nestled on a peninsula on Lake Hamilton, this botanical wonderland is breathtaking in any season. From the stunning Anthony Chapel and the whimsical Children's Adventure Garden to the vibrant seasonal displays of tulips and hydrangeas, every path offers a new vista. It's a peaceful escape that consistently impresses with its meticulous design and natural beauty. No visit to Hot Springs is complete without immersing yourself in Hot Springs National Park. As the nation's oldest protected thermal springs, it's fascinating to learn about the history of "Bathhouse Row" and even experience a traditional soak yourself. Beyond the iconic bathhouses, the park offers miles of scenic hiking trails through the Ouachita Mountains, providing gorgeous views and a chance to connect with nature. You can literally walk from a bustling downtown street into a serene national park – a truly unique experience! When you’re traveling by RV we highly recommend the Finish Line RV park. It’s a gated community very close to everything. And after a day of exploring, you'll want to refuel, and that's where Rocky's Pizza comes in! This local favorite consistently delivers on flavor. Whether you're craving a classic pepperoni or something more adventurous, their pizzas are always fresh, hot, and satisfying. It's the perfect casual spot to unwind and enjoy a delicious meal that feels like a true Hot Springs experience. Hot Springs truly offers something for everyone, making it an unforgettable place to visit. I highly recommend it!

Reminded us of European city with vast number of Victorian style bath houses. Some of them got converted to museums and some into hotels/restaurants. Lively place if you want to visit during fall. Would come back again

The city is beautiful with lots of history, but unfortunately for both my wife and I the extreme exhaust noise coming from the trove of immature drivers coming thru the main drag ruin the entire experience and allure of the village. Would not recommend staying at any location anywhere NEAR downtown if you value your sleep. Business owners should be revolting at this excessive noise pollution. We wanted to stay longer but the noise drove us away. Shame.

The visitor center is inside a turn-of-the-century spa nestled in the historic district of the town. It was an interesting tour (self-guided) and very different from the visitor centers of other National Parks. The rangers and park information is all on the ground level. The museum portion of the visitor center is three stories, including the basement. There is an old elevator that still works that you can ride, or you can take the stairs. We were able to drink cooled water from the spring out of a fountain and my dog was able to earn her B.A.R.K ranger certificate here.

Steinhaus Keller is a lively restaurant in Hot Springs, serving up traditional German cuisine since 1931. Nestled in the historic downtown area, this eatery boasts a charming brick exterior and a cozy patio for outdoor dining. The menu features classic German dishes like schnitzel and sauerbraten alongside American favorites such as burgers and fries. With its inviting atmosphere, live music, and extensive beer selection, Steinhaus Keller offers an authentic taste of Germany right in Arkansas.
This place was phenomenal in every way!!! So charming and rustic, the perfect date night spot. The service was amazing (I wish I could remember our waitress’s name- she was so good) but the food blew everything out of the water. We split the smorgasbord and every single bite was delicious!!! From onion pie to sauerkraut balls to trout dip- all of their small plates are amazing. We both ordered the special; for us, beef tips (with mash potatoes and green beans) and our companions, the schnitzel. Both dishes convinced me that German food is my new favorite!!! 🤤 5 stars for SURE! (Also, the beer!!! So yummy.)

This place was amazing, 10/10 in every area! Atmosphere was amazing, lovely decorated! Service was phenomenal…always making sure we were well taken care of and the food….the food….was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!! For the cocktail, I had the maple Bourbon spice and my fast buds were in happy land! My wife ordered the meatloaf with the noodles and dumplings and I had ordered the schnitzel (pork) with the brandy cream sauce, sauerkraut and German potato salad!! We highly recommend for any occasion! A+++

Great German food with generous portions. Our server was very knowledgeable about German beer and helped us navigate the menu with ease. The food was really good. The portions were large and very hearty. The homemade apple strudel was divine! A great restaurant when visiting Hot Springs.

They have an outstanding selection of German and imported beers on tap. Their recently updated menu is even better than before! I highly recommend starting with the potato pancakes appetizer. The real standout, though, is their beef stroganoff—it’s hands down the best I’ve had anywhere. And for something unique, don’t miss the adult butter beer—smooth, creamy, and deliciously nostalgic. Steinhaus Keller is consistently excellent. A must-visit spot in Hot Springs!

We were so excited to come here. I’m from Germany and my husband was stationed in Germany. The restaurant itself was very nice. The waitress was great! But the food was disappointing. My husband had Jäger Schnitzel with mushroom soup and fried potatoes. I had the peppercorn rahm schnitzel with Knödel and potato pancake. The only good food was the bread and the applesauce. The fried potatoes were alright. The Schnitzel was tough even though we both got veal. The Knödel were overcooked. The pancake needed salt.

Got the giant pretzel and the schnitzel with fried potatoes and brussel sprouts. So yummy. But they charged $8 extra because we shared a plate. Didn't tell us that it was going to cost more even though they knew we'd never been before. But other than that it was good

A most excellent and memorable dining experience! I dined here two consecutive nights it was so good. Round one consisted of chicken Diane with spaetzle underneath and the kielbasa sausage. The sausage was firm and chewy as a quality sausage should be and the chicken was equally delicious. The service was very good and there was a single violin player performing on a small stage playing old and contemporary music. I should have tested her mettle and asked her to play Vivaldi's Winter. I was going to hit the Brick House for round two of dining in Hot Springs, but they are closed on Sundays. Regretting not ordering the schnitzel for round one, I had to try it, and I was not disappointed. For clarity, I ordered the pork and not the veal. Again, the table service was impressive. After dinner, I encountered an e-bike rickshaw and had to have the grand tour. My tour guide called himself "LJ" and took me around. First we hit the Veterans park and I let him know the army tank sitting the was the venerable M-60 Patton. There's many an M-60 tank sitting in such parks around the country. Next on the grand tour was the town drainage ditch. But this was special in two ways. Firstly, it channels the hot water from the springs through the town under the main thoroughfare passing eight bath houses along the way. Legend has it that multiple businesses along the main street have access to the tunnel and this was particularly made use of during the Prohibition era with the likes of Al Capone having his finger in the pie. At the opposite end of the tunnel is the other opening where water flows in. Along the ditch is the town's alligator farm. Back in the teens and 1920s, the surrounding area was a ballpark. The very same ballpark where Baseball legend Babe Ruth hit a 573 foot home run from what is now a parking lot. The spot is marked by a home plate commemorating the event. Behind the plate are some decaying concrete bleachers where fans once sat during games. Trees surround these relics of a bygone era with some growing up through the concrete. After that visit, made our way back to my parking spot with an interesting and enormous building mural along the way. LJ recommended the Brick House so I will try it on my next visit.

A Pleasant Surprise! I have eaten at many high-end restaurants where the flavor is just mediocre but my husband and I came here for our anniversary and we absolutely loved the food! The flavor down to the simple vegetable medley was impeccable. Our Host, Sommelier, and waitress Tori was absolutely amazing!

We had such a great time! I can’t believe I’ve lived here my whole life and haven’t been here before. The food was de-lish, but what really made the night great was our waitress (Tori). She was so friendly, on top of everything, and made us feel super welcome. If you go, I’d definitely ask for Tori (she has cool red and black hair). I’m sure your experience will be just as great as ours was with her as your waitress. The spot itself is really cool too…such a unique little restaurant with a great vibe. We’ll definitely be back!

The good bad and ugly. For a steak house it is okay. The ambience, I would rate it as OK not superior but definitely slightly above average. The food was delicious and there will be no negativity on the taste of the food. I will say for the price point of this restaurant there’s little things they could do better to make it more high-end feel. If in Hot Springs and you desire a good steak stop in and give it a try. There is definitely another steak restaurant in Hot Springs you should try, so you can compare for yourself

I can't say enough good. Food is way better than the Vault, but not as cool of an atmosphere. The service is also much better than the Vault. Steak was perfect. Not much else to say.

Carly was our waitress. She was so sweet and thorough. Griff was our Busser and he was also great! The food was HOT and out in a timely fashion cooked to perfection. I’d highly recommend Porterhouse. Ask for Carly and Griff!

I thought I would treat myself to a nice steak while visiting Hot Springs. Instead I was tricked. The food was terrible. I was first offered, and accepted, the day's drink special: a pomegranate vodka martini that was weak and overpriced at $16. I was eventually brought a single warm roll in a basket with ice cold and un-spreadable, pre-packaged butter. I had ordered a ribeye with sautéed mushrooms and onions, a loaded baked potato, and asparagus (for an extra $9). The streak came out barely seared, remarkably rectangular, and sickly thin. The onions and mushrooms were barely cooked and not at all caramelized. I sent them back requesting that they be properly cooked and they came back practically identical. The baked potato was smaller than my fist and came out bare. It took the waiter three trips to bring me the toppings; first the sour cream, then the butter and finally a plate of cheese, bacon, and DRIED CHIVES?!? They couldn't spring for some fresh cut chives?!? This is not the quality of food I expect from a steakhouse serving "prime" steaks. I would not recommend and won't be returning.

The food was amazing! It was very flavorful. We enjoyed our anniversary dinner. Our server, Carly, was super sweet and attentive. 5 stars for her too!!

Everything about our experience was amazing. From the atmosphere to the food and service. Charlene was our server. She did a great job of explaining the menu and specials and was attentive without hovering. My husband had a 16oz steak that was so delicious and tender. Even the next day, when warmed up it was still delicious. I had the chef special salmon. It was cooked to perfection and the sides did not disappoint. This is a must visit when in Hot Springs.

Fast food restaurant
Classic, long-running fast-food chain known for its burgers & fries.
Very unfriendly girl at the 2nd drive thru window. She shouldn't be at the window at all. Also, forgot fries for one of the meals and the sauce for the nuggets, nothing was fresh and my husbands burger had burnt stuff on it, I'm assuming from off of the grill. The food was Nasty!! It has really gone downhill and no one cares. All McDonald's cares about is that they have a warm body there to "work" if that's what you want to call it.

If I could give no stars I would! We got 2 kids meals a 4 piece strip meal and a large fry! No sauce in the bag do I asked for some she gave me 2!!! 2 little sauce cups for all this food I asked for 2 more and they acted like it’s coming straight out of their paycheck I’m not paying .39 cents a for extra sauce when I just spent almost 30 bucks on fast food! Horrible service!!!!
Destint H — Google review
No cold drinks so I asked what they had and they said unsweetened tea and orange juice. I told them orange juice and then they charged me another 1.50. Took a drink and realized it was half water. This place is a money robbing hamburger joint that charges more than other McDonald's and never lives up to expectations... just horrible....plain ole thievery...

Burger was good, fries were burnt and its weird because during lunch. Drive threw was slow but people seemed very pleasant. So I have mixed feelings but will stop again one day

Hours should be, according to the sign, from 5am. There was a paper sign on the door stating they would open at 6am. Waited until a bit after 6, still no one seemed to even be in kitchen yet. yet.

Please please please, go to the other McDonald’s by lakeside high school and order something. I bet it’s fresh every time! My nugget were old and dried out, I asked for a double cheeseburger only onion and they put everything, asked for fresh fries, they were extra greasy and burnt, gave me a sprite that had been sitting there watered down. Y’all need to do better for real.
Alexander A — Google review
Food had been sitting under a warmer for a while. French fries were stale and fish sandwich was hard. I should have returned it.

Restaurant
Luna Bella is an intimate and inviting restaurant located on the shores of Lake Hamilton, offering upscale Italian-American cuisine. Since its opening in 2010, this much-loved local eatery has been serving classic dishes such as fried calamari with a lemon butter sauce and veal osso bucco with creamy mashed potatoes. The restaurant's chic interior provides a perfect setting for enjoying cocktails alongside delicious meals. Due to its popularity, especially on weekend evenings, it's advisable to make reservations in advance.
Definitely get a reservation. Everything we had was excellent. We had the veal osso bucco, the calamari, and the spicy penne alla vodka. My boyfriend says his shrimp was slightly overcooked but I honestly thought it was good. It's a bit pricey but it's very clearly a higher end restaurant. Doesn't look as nice from the outside but the inside has great ambiance and even better food. Our server was also excellent.

Hubs and I dined here for our anniversary, and the food was excellent. I got the eggplant Parmesan, hubs got the chicken Marsala rigatoni, and we shared the caprese salad. They had a special dessert that night - pumpkin bread pudding, which was phenomenal. I would eat another right now lol. Highly recommend for a special occasion.

The is a must. Two shelf scratch made food. The elk was incredibly juicy, tender, and full of flavor that was complemented by the crispy Brussels sprouts and smooth sweet potatoes. I topped off the meal with the best creme brûlée. The second best meal was the scallops that melted in my mouth with such flavors, it was hard to go back to the elk! The best meal we have had in nearly 10 years. The chef and staff present a world class restaurant. The unassuming building will have you fooled. The food outstanding. The staff was totally on top of their game. We will be back again soon! Worth every penny.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! Everything was absolutely perfect! I got the roasted lamb chops and they were perfect in every way! Even the water was amazing! Also the service was excellent! If you want some good food you need to come here!
Jaxson H — Google review
Luna Bella was amazing! Be warned that if you aren't under a light, you might need a flashlight to read the menu. But the dark ambiance makes this restaurant so much fun. The service was great. The staff all seem to know each other well and work well together. The food is pricy if you're on a budget, but it is SO WORTH EVERY PENNY! The herbed butter and bread is some of the best I've had, and I've had lots! One of us had the Burrata Caprese Salad and one had the Caesar Salad. One of us had the Eggplant Parmesan with angel hair and one had the Chicken Fettuccine. All of it was close-your-eyes and do a happy dance worthy!! We had no room for dessert. The wait was tolerable and we were after a large wedding party. The martinis were stout! All of it very very good. Highly recommend. Be sure to call and reserve a table!

This restaurant is outstanding! The food and desserts were delicious. We had the stuffed salmon and redfish Ponchartrain. Dessert was the bread pudding. All were fantastic. Don't miss this place if you visit Hot Springs!
Clay M — Google review
Our daughter and her boyfriend had dinner at Luna Bella around Christmas. Like we always do when eating at a restaurant, we take pictures and share in the family group chat. It looked AMAZING! Forgot all about til my husband and I had a "date night" and we wanted something different. That's when we remembered Luna Bella and so we made the 30-45min drive and it did NOT disappoint. We did call-in on our way to double check if reservations are needed and I'm glad we did because YES...make the reservation ahead of time. It was a full schedule, and I think the Oaklawn races played a part in how booked they were, but thankfully they had 2 seats available at the bar. Not our typical choice but we didn't mind seeing how we called on our way there. Our server, Caitlin, could not have been more welcoming, very attentive, and very helpful when answering my questions (I have a shellfish allergy). My husband and I both ordered the Spicy Penne Alla Vodka dishes, except he had the shrimp & crab while I had the chicken, and it was SOOOOOOOOO good!!! Great flavor, great portion size, tender meat, and all around AMAZING. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting and definitely not what you would expect when driving up. We will most definitely visit again.

The food was all very delicious, and service was fantastic! My only thing was I felt I got hardly any food. Perhaps I’m used to large American portions, but I felt like there wasn’t much served. Again, super yummy.
