National park
Nature & Parks
Hot Springs National Park is a historic urban park in Arkansas, featuring a row of early 20th-century bathhouses built on natural hot springs. The park's history dates back to 1832 when President Andrew Jackson set aside the area as the first federal reservation, making it the oldest national park in the United States. The mineral-laden thermal waters that bubble out of the mountain have been believed to possess medicinal or therapeutic properties for centuries and were highly prized by Native American tribes.
This is a very unique national park. I don't think I've ever been to one that was essentially part of the city it was in like this. Basically, half of Hot Springs downtown is the park itself, and the other half is shops and lodging, etc. It was interesting. Very cool history with the bathhouses, and what they were used for. There are some really nice hiking trails in the part of the park that is outside of the actual downtown area. The downtown portion is focused on the bathhouses, and their history. Outside of that is more nature focused into the Ouachita National Forest, with scenic trails, etc.

Interesting park, totally different than any other park I've been to! Cool history, nice little town with historic bathhouses that you can still reserve space and enjoy, nestled in between the hills where the hot spring water flows from. Some good hiking and a nice tower with an elevator to the top with great views of the whole area.
Ali A — Google review
This is a unique National Park. While it’s not the rugged hiker’s paradise that many others are, it has its own special charm. The historic bathhouses are fascinating to see, and the urban setting makes it perfect for a couple’s outing or casual day trip. I hiked the Peak Trail—super easy, though hot in the midday sun—and was rewarded with a beautiful view of Arkansas’s lush greenery from the top. Definitely worth a visit.
SeaTown R — Google review
I had such a great experience visiting Hot Springs National Park! The mix of nature and history makes it a truly unique place — you can hike beautiful forest trails and then relax in the historic bathhouses. The water is warm, soothing, and perfect after a long walk. Everything is well-maintained, and the atmosphere feels peaceful and welcoming.
Michael C — Google review
I understand protecting our natural resources, but I question the initial intention of the park and what it has become. Set within the town of Hot Springs, there are only 2 bathhouses still functioning. Originally “preserved for future recreation” by Congress in 1832, before National Parks were established, it seems like it was originally intended by as “medicinal”playground for the rich and famous (not surprising) and now, not so much. Still, the springs and history are fascinating and you should at least try one of the open bathhouses if you visit. There is some shopping and a few hiking trails, but not much else.
Kristie B — Google review
The Hot Springs National Park unfortunately was closed due to government shut-downs. However, we were still able to access the springs and the trails. The hot springs average around 130F so use caution if you have your small children with you. We had a 5yo & 7yo and they were able to be careful and enjoy touching and learning about the springs. Because the park is integrated within the downtown, it didn’t take long to walk the trail. There’s a lot more trails to hike that we did not do with our youngest kids this trip.
Trisha E — Google review
Different kind of Mario Al park. Not a lot of hiking trails, but we did manage to do about 4 miles, uphill for a mile straight, so there are options. There are also roads going to the attractions that the trails end at if you’re not into hiking. One unique thing about this park is the bathhouses that are still operating for a one of a kind spa experience. Cool park, but keep in mind this is an urban area, not the solitary park you may be used to.

Very nice park. We'll maintained. Great views. If your in the area, might as well as checkout out!

Observation Decks & Towers
Mountains
Hot Springs Mountain Tower is a 216-ft. tower with an elevator that takes you up to an observation deck, providing breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and Hot Springs below. It's located near the end of Hot Springs Mountain Trail and offers amenities such as water, restrooms, and snacks. The admission fee is $11 or $9 with an America the Beautiful Pass. You can drive up to the parking lot or hike the trail to reach the tower.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely breathtaking views from the Hot Springs Mountain Tower! You can see the rivers, mountains, and the entire city bathed in golden light — especially during sunset. The scenery is peaceful, the air feels fresh, and the 360° view is just mesmerizing. Watching the sunset from the top was such a serene experience, and the photo spots are amazing! The tower is clean, well maintained, and the staff is very friendly. A must-visit spot in Hot Springs if you love nature, photography, or simply want to unwind and take in the beauty around you.
Amu S — Google review
Great view from the top, lots of history on display boards on the lower floor. Also a nice souvenir shop with a mix of gifts from shirts, sweatshirts, ornaments, magnets, shot, glasses, snacks, and so on. It is eight dollars to go to the top of the tower. And it is wheelchair accessible. To get to the tower, you will also take a pretty scenic drive. Enjoy the drive and watch for wildlife. We saw a doe and her two fawns.
Lisa J — Google review
Tower provides a panoramic view of Hot Springs and beyond. Stop on the second level to incorporate the history of the Hot Springs and the bath houses. Take time to stop along the way before the tower to enjoy the views. The tower staff were very welcoming.
MTT C — Google review
Beautiful place, all the hot springs are commercialised for hot baths for paid and reserved. Couldn’t see any natural hot springs in the National Park. Very beautiful trails with tree cover. The observation tower/Mountain tower was very beautiful for a Birds Eye view and great outlook points on the way. Nearby is a Marina where boating l, kayaking and water activities which can be a great cool off for the kids and family.
Ravi T — Google review
It was a lot of fun hiking up to it from bathhouse row. There is a hiking trail that will go up to the top of the tower and then we took the stairs and rode the elevator down. There's a lot of history when you get up to the top of the tower. There is an admission.
Carolyn H — Google review
Went here with my mom to over look Hot Springs, Arkansas. The tower has 360° views of the whole town. The tower has 3 floors, 1st floor is the gift shop, 2nd floor is the history of the tower and the town and the 3rd floor is the observation deck. This place does offer military discount for anyone who served or active duty. Cool part about the tower, is the elevators have a glass window leading all the way to the top of the tower so you can look out while going up. FYI one of the elevators does not have a light and only gets lit by the natural light of the glass coming in. Overall, the tower was a cool place to check out.
Lizzy G — Google review
On a clear day you can see for miles around the Hot Springs area from atop of the Tower. Which we were fortunate to have this beautiful fall day. The only thing that would have made it better was if the fall foliage had been in full force. That's one of the reasons we planned our trip at this time of year. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans for a late fall. All and all, you can't go wrong with a trip to the Springs.
Steve S — Google review
Really enjoyed visiting Hot Springs Mountain Tower. The views from the top were beautiful and totally worth it. The elevator ride up was quick, and there’s a small gift shop and some cool info displays. Great spot if you’re in the area — perfect for a short, scenic stop.

The Gangster Museum of America in Hot Springs, Arkansas offers a captivating look into the town's intriguing past. During the 20's, 30's, and 40's, Hot Springs was a popular destination known for its healing mineral waters and illicit activities like bootlegging and gambling. The museum provides historically accurate insights into how notorious American gangsters interacted with the town. Visitors can enjoy guided video tours that shed light on the relationship between these criminals and the innocent local population.
This tour exceeded my expectations! Very informative and brimming full of history. Nice collection of memorabilia. Even my 7 year old and 8 year old found it interesting. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn more about the unique history of Hot Springs and its connection with some of most notorious gangsters that reigned during Prohibition. Also even though I bought tickets upon arrival and did not have any difficulty, if you buy your tickets in advance you’re more likely to get the desired time you would like to take your tour.
Laura — Google review
I learned so much about both baseball and gangster activities in the history of Hot Springs. I enjoyed it so much I got a couple books about it here and went back to my room and read them. Such interesting history! The museum itself relies heavily on videos to tell the story. You go from room to room and watch a video then go to the next. Each room tells a different part of the story. They were interesting and filled with local people. There was memorabilia in the rooms as well. But not like most typical museums. I feel like it is more about the stories. Enjoyed!!
Shana F — Google review
The Gangster Museum was an unique experience! Our tour guide was a plus. He was dressed in character, full of energy, and rattling off fascinating stories like he’s been living in that era himself. You could totally tell he loves what he does, and that passion made the tour way more engaging. The photos, artifacts, and vintage details were awesome! Everything from old roulette tables to mugshots of the most notorious mobsters. We learned so much about how deep the gangster ties ran in Hot Springs, and it was way more than we expected! The only thing that dragged a bit were the videos. If you're into history, crime stories, or just want to do something different, this place is a must-see for a super affordable price !
Rochelle A — Google review
I put no wait to get in because youcan just walk right in, but you may have to wait for a tour to start. It is well worth the money. Lots of very cool and amazing artifacts and information!! I highly recommend going there when visiting Hot Springs!
Chris M — Google review
Its ok. But not really what I expected. Mostly pictures on the walls, etc. and while someone tells you information, the majority are videos. The Gangster Museum is really a history of the city as stranger/gangsters began to vist it and go for entertainment. They do have a few other items to tie it together.
Esteban L — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ First-time visitors to Hot Springs and we’re glad we stopped at the Gangster Museum! The tour runs about an hour and a half and mixes live presentation, stories, and videos. Really cool way to learn about the fascinating history of Hot Springs and its ties to the gangster era. We walked away having learned a lot and enjoyed every minute. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in town!
Bill V — Google review
Look into buying tickets prior to showing up. If there is a big crowd it will have limited seating in each rooms. Informational and a great place to buy hats.
Faith S — Google review
This is a solid fun thing to do while in Hot Springs. I really liked the interesting information presented and some cool artifacts or props to look at, many of which you can touch. The people we interacted with were all super nice as well. As mentioned in the reviews, the tour itself is uniquely laid out. You go from room to room, listen to a few minutes of the guide introducing the room, then a video is played (around 10 minutes long), then the guide comes back in and talks for another few minutes. Then you get to look around for a few more minutes before going to the next room. You can spend as long as you want in those rooms reading everything if you wanted to but you may miss the tour guide talking about the next room. Also, each room only has like 10 chairs or so, when there is 20 ish people, so you're not guaranteed a seat while that 10 minute video is played. The only thing is our guide, although nice, wasn't really the best guide for this kind of a tour. You need someone with a loud projecting voice, confident sounding, and funny. Our guide spoke real fast and mumbled parts of it. He wasn't very dramatic either, which is what you want in a tour guide to really bring things to life. I felt like I was listening to a college professor again. The first room is probably the most boringest room and video. It made me think, what did I just spend my money on, but it got a lot better. I think if we had a more engaging/dynamic tour guide this would have easily been a 5 star experience.

Mid-America Science Museum offers an engaging and interactive experience for visitors of all ages. The museum's mission is to spark interest in STEM fields through hands-on exhibits, educational programs, and various activities. With over 100 interactive displays covering physics, biology, astronomy, and more, the museum aims to make science accessible and enjoyable. One of its highlights is a giant Tesla coil used to demonstrate principles of electricity and magnetism.
We visited with my 8 and 9 year old and four adults. Everybody stayed busy and the kids had a good time. They loved the underground Arkansas play area. The net was cool but my kids weren't impressed by the dinosaurs and it was a lot of walking to see them. Overall, there was plenty to do and it was well maintained!
Sabrina N — Google review
Great place to take the family and enjoy the day. There's plenty to see and learn inside and outside the main building. My favorite thing to see was the famous Tesla coil. The digital dome theater was also fun. If you come in early enough during the week you can go through the exhibits without too many people. If you're from out of town I would recommend a visit here with the family.
Hector R — Google review
My kid enjoyed it a lot and didn’t want to leave; he cried, "I don't wanna go home, I want to play more :)" Honestly, we also had a great time. Especially the Tesla Show was really awesome. I recommend not missing both shows; you might learn something new, I can promise :)
Dewan R — Google review
In town from Austin. We've got our own science / children's museums of course and the Mid-America Science Museum puts ours to shame. One of the best I've ever taken the kids to. Fantastic blend of interactive exhibits and outdoor areas. We opted to do the Tesla coil experience and it was well worth it; our 2- and 4-year olds weren't super engaged with the learning part but even they loved when the coil itself was turned on. If you're in Hot Springs with kids (even teenagers would enjoy it if they "have" to tag along with younger siblings), you really should try and make it.
Cameron N — Google review
Fantastic science museum with some really unique displays and interactions. With a major focus on caves, dinosaurs and electricity, we happily spent an entire afternoon here with all the exhibits - the highlight of the day was the Tesla coil show. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable, and most importantly very patient with science loving kiddos
Kristen T — Google review
there is plenty to do here for the whole family. even the 1-year-olds will appreciate the visit. me and my family have visited this little gym many times and every time there is something new. there's activities to do inside outside wheelchair accessible, Hands-On activities, water activities, even a show if you don't want to touch anything. if you've never been and you have children, it's a must do. of course you're supposed to take them with you, but if you choose not to and your inner child is calling, it's a fun place.
Todd S — Google review
This was a major hit with our little family. Our son is 3 and he could've stayed there all day. We spent four hours there as it was haha. We went to the digital dome show, and we also saw the Tesla coil show, both were very interesting and full of information. Zane led the Tesla coil exhibit while we were there, and he was very knowledgeable. There are so many different interactive exhibits to check out both inside and outside. If you have a little one that loves dinosaurs, do not miss out on this!
Faith M — Google review
I brought my four year old here, and she LOVED it. I would be lying if at 34 i didnt say that I had even more fun than her. I may come back by myself 🤣 there were so many activities here and so much to learn. we willnfor sure be coming back!

Bathhouse Row Emporium is a unique attraction located in Hot Springs National Park, designated as a National Historic Landmark. It consists of eight historic bathhouses fed by natural hot springs, the Grand Promenade walkway, and a Spanish Mission-style park administrative building. While some bathhouses have been repurposed into restaurants, shops selling items made from the hot spring waters, and bed and breakfasts, others still offer authentic thermal bath experiences and spa treatments.
Had awesome experience. Do reserve ahead and walk-ins are available however if you want private rather than public do reserve ahead. It's worth a visit.

As an avid visitor to our national and state parks, I was impressed with the Hot Springs National Park store. It was the most inclusive store of social identities that I have been too, and we have visited a lot of store parks! In addition, it had a whole section dedicated to local products (which is important to me too). I felt seen and welcomed in this space. It's been several weeks since our visit yet this impression still lingers. I made sure to share my impression with the store clerks too. Our beautiful, diverse country is composed of many stories and peoples AND I appreciate the opportunity to learn these threads (even when unpleasant) that make our national tapestry. Thank you to the folks creating a welcoming space to engage folks in nature and history.
TY Y — Google review
I would highly recommend stopping by this quickly talked and gift shop among the bath houses. This place has all of the merchandise for the national park down to the embroidered robes that you can take home. They offer a different set of stamps for your cancellation books if you are like us and collect them. All the staff was super nice and very helpful and everyone was wearing mask and face shield so you could actually go inside the building. Overall a great experience

Bathhouse Row HotSpring We took the tour and it was very interesting, however it was family trip for a day so we did not have enough time to enjoy or experience such lovely architecture and beautiful piece of History in details. But it was great to came-across small piece of American History in this region. It’s great place to walk around and enjoy the real essence of the city. Very well persevered and maintained sites along with beautiful park and natural Hot-water Fountains, which you could easily pointed on the local Map or either get info from Tourist Info Center. Don’t worry about the food choices or meal, there are plenty of options. Recommendations: near by free car parking building behind the street, so better to park and walk around. Do check weather first and wear sneakers, keep bottle of water or light snacks. Enjoy 😊

Cute shop with many bathhouse and hot springs themed items as well as general NPS stuff and some local jewelry too! Lotions, soap, pet bandanas, books, hoodies, shirts, magnets, bathtub themed items, etc.

Such a fun experience. We enjoyed a long girls weekend here. I highly recommend checking out one of the bath houses. They are a bit pricey, but the experience is relaxing.
Sheena Y — Google review
It is very disappointing that there are several "bath houses" but only 2 of them are truly that. And don't plan on going without making your reservations a few months in advance. No impromptu visits. The trip was nice, but the reason for visiting Hot Springs was to enjoy the "hot springs" and there was not anyway to do so. Not only have they been commercialized, there appears to be no way to enjoy them in nature.

The Fordyce Bathhouse Visitor Center and Museum is a grand 1910 bathhouse that has been transformed into a museum, featuring stained glass and marble. It offers exhibits and films about the baths, providing visitors with a glimpse into its operation from 1915 to 1962. The museum showcases the luxurious spa treatments and entertainment that were once enjoyed in this architectural marvel.
One of the best National park visitor centers I’ve been to! It hosts a 4 floor exhibit full of information for FREE! It also includes a 14 minute short fill which plays every half hour (I highly recommend it was super interesting and funny)! Make sure you make it to the basement which shows the water pumps and the hot spring! The center closes at 5, however the top 2 floors close at 4:45 so plan accordingly!
Emma J — Google review
there is absolutely no set parking for the national park or visitor center and museum. just have to drive around and find a spot along the street or in one of the few pay for parking lots. i didn’t find the museum to be very interesting but it was well done and had a beautiful interior and exterior. bathhouse row was neat to walk by but couldn’t imagine myself spending more than the 30 minutes we did in the museum. it was free entry so if you’re in the area and looking for something to do it’s an cool place to stop but definitely wouldn’t go out of my way to visit again.
Alyssa W — Google review
If you're visiting from out of town, this is one of those places to check out. It offers some history and gives you an insight of how bathhouses ran. Admission was free as my family took a self guided tour. After finishing the tour we even got a nice presentation from park ranger James Byrd. He gave us information about the types of local birds and ended up by giving my kid an activity to work on. There weren't other people who attended his presentation (which was a bit sad), but my family took the opportunity to learn one on one. Overall it's something to check off when you're visiting the area.
Hector R — Google review
My family and I enjoyed stepping back in time and experiencing this beautiful bathhouse in all its splendor. We found it interesting in learning more about the early beginnings of physical therapy and the fascination that many had with what the restorative springs could offer them. It kind of reminded me of the movie “The Road to Wellville.” Definitely needs to be on the bucket list of unique and obscure places to visit if you’re interested in medical oddities.
Laura — Google review
It doesn't cost. When you walk in. Don't be alarmed. It has security guards. They have cute little badges. Its okay. They are there to give you information. This is kinda weird. It is a visitor building. 3 floors of history for the bath house. Truly it seemed like this could've been a horror movie. It's clean, but knowing what it was and the diseases they had. I didn't touch anything. THE tile and stain glass work is truly amazing. There's abundance of history. They have an elevator or you can climb the steep stairs. On the second level is a trivia room and a movie that plays every 20 minutes about the history of the baths. Anyway its really neatand everyone should do it. I dont think kids should go. They like to touch everything. They wouldn't understand it.

A beautiful look back into the history in Hot Springs. Take some time to walk through the Fordyce Bathhouse whether you do your own self-guided tour, a phone guided tour they offer, or even a tour led by one of the Rangers. I loved all of the stained glass and preserved details of the bathhouse.

The Fordyce Bathhouse Visitor Center is a beautifully preserved glimpse into the golden age of American spa culture. The stained glass ceilings, vintage gym, and historic bath equipment were fascinating. It’s free, well-maintained, and a great starting point for exploring Hot Springs National Park.

Botanical garden
Garvan Woodland Gardens Childrens Garden Treehouse is a must-visit destination in Hot Springs, offering a serene and beautiful 210-acre botanical garden with diverse floral species and stunning architectural features like the Anthony Chapel and the Bob and Sunny Evans Treehouse. The Evans Childrens Adventure Gardens boast a magnificent multi-level floating treehouse that kids will adore. Visitors can enjoy feeding koi fish, purchase limited food and drinks, and relax at outdoor seating areas.
Beautiful garden, well worth the time to explore while in Hot Springs. They offer a self-guided walking tour and a map with short descriptions. We enjoyed the mix of water features within the gardens. There is a lot of walking, but you could rent a golf cart for an additional fee. We did stop by the Chipmunk Cafe for cold drinks...Frappe and Chocolate shakes! Some of my favorites...The Children's Garden had beautiful garden art, The Anthony Chapel, and the Garden of the Pine Wind. Bonus features: the restrooms are clean and have a/c, we found cold drinking water, the peacocks are at ease around people. Highly recommend and will be back again.

Definitely worth the drive from Hot Springs Village. We enjoyed visiting the well manicured garden grounds and visiting the charming children’s tree house and fairy village. It was mesmerizing to see the peacock regally strutting his stuff in the park as well as viewing the miniature train near the front of the gardens that was in close proximity to a cafe. The cafe was wonderful at the end of our excursion to get a nice refreshing treat. This was a nice break from city life that we appreciated.

Beautiful area and well maintained trails. Get the map! Really enjoyed our stop, was looking for a place to stretch the legs on our trip. Only complaint was the prices, 25 per person seemed a bit much but they appear to put it back into the garden so take your time and enjoy all the nature. Butterfly and bee garden is beautiful!

This place was amazing. You definitely get your exercise. So many beautiful things to see from the tree house, to waterfalls, bridges, flower gardens... & so much more. Just Do It!!! 👍 *Buy your tickets online. It will save you $8 each

Absolutely stunning gardens with a good variety of themes and points of interest. I walked almost every bit of trail they had in just over three hours taking plenty of time to appreciate different spots. Even with the temperature around 90°, it was never oppressively hot under the canopy of trees. We got stopped for a good while by a peacock mating display. The Anthony Chapel was spectacular and we happened to catch the bell tower right at noon.

Take water and cool towels. It is definitely humid here! Beautiful grounds. Our favorite was the children's area with the tree house and water falls! And of course the Anthony chapel was beautiful. We did not walk all of it due to how humid it was. They need some sort of water stations set up through out.

Beautiful gardens! Very nice staff! BUY TICKETS ONLINE TO SAVE $5/pp. Highlights include the treehouse! (def worth the hike down and up and where kids can play in the water/kids were having a blast the day we were there!), of course Anthony chapel (which was beautiful and serene, felt holy and reverent, not to mention a nice air condition respite after a challenging hot walk), koi pond, and the pollinator house section! Learned a lot there. Be prepared for a walk, and to sweat if it's sunny in June! Or temp was 90. I wouldn't go any hotter then that.

Well worth the visit. A nature lovers dream. Not just a manicured garden…it’s God’s beautiful creation lovingly tended too. We managed to walked almost all of it, approximately 3 miles( 9:30-12:30). We stopped plenty of places and enjoyed the view. The map looks like a pile of spaghetti but you’ll figure it out. There are lots of little side trails too.

Architectural Buildings
Anthony Chapel, located at Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs, Arkansas, is a stunning six-story-tall structure made of native wood and glass. With its floor-to-ceiling walls of glass and numerous skylights, the chapel offers breathtaking views of the surrounding verdant trees, creating an enchanting atmosphere reminiscent of a fairytale forest. The open beam design and towering yellow-pine columns immerse visitors in the majesty of nature.
Absolutely breathtaking! This place is like nothing I’ve ever seen before — truly a hidden gem. The architecture is stunning and blends perfectly with nature, making it an ideal spot for a peaceful getaway or even a dream wedding. I recommend visiting early in the day to enjoy the calm atmosphere and capture some amazing photos in the natural light. It’s beautifully designed, clean, and serene — a perfect place to sit quietly and soak in the beauty around. If you love nature, elegance, and tranquility, this place is a must-visit!

Anthony Chapel – Hot Springs, Arkansas Visiting Anthony Chapel was an absolutely magical experience. It’s truly a breathtaking work of art nestled in the natural beauty of Hot Springs. The architecture is stunning — the way the glass and wood blend seamlessly with the forest around it is something that mesmerizes you from the moment you walk in. It’s so peaceful and serene, I honestly felt like I could have sat there forever. Whether you're spiritual or simply someone who appreciates design and nature, this place will move you. I can’t wait to return again in the fall, when the leaves change — I can only imagine how beautiful it will be with all those colors surrounding the chapel. If you’re ever near Hot Springs, this is a must-see. Photos don’t do it justice — it’s something you have to feel in person.

We visited Anthony Chapel about a month ago on the last leg of a road trip we deemed The Arkansas Chapel Tour, where we visited all three of the big glass chapels (including Thorncrown, and the Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel). Of the three, we actually voted Anthony Chapel in 3rd place. Don’t get me wrong - they are ALL amazing structures, each with their own unique style. For us, Anthony was the least accessible for those with mobility issues (gravel path, not close to parking, slight incline returning), and it was the one with the most activity, so the least peaceful visit. We loved the free roaming peacocks - they were fun to watch! We also loved the ceiling structure of this chapel. It was very interesting. We didn’t find any brochures here that gave info about the chapel as the other two had - details about the building, architects, how it came to be, etc. Maybe they were out of brochures when we visited, but all we found was a bridal booklet with info about weddings in the area. That would be a nice addition. Definitely go visit - and visit the other two as well!!

Anthony Chapel is a breathtaking gem nestled in the woods at Garvan Woodland Gardens. With its soaring glass-and-wood architecture, it feels like stepping into a cathedral of nature—sunlight dances off lofty beams, and forest vistas surround you. Exceptionally peaceful and visually stunning, it’s free to visit (unless a private event is underway) and offers an unforgettable, serene escape. A must-see if you’re in Hot Springs.

Absolutely stunning. Tucked into the woods, Anthony Chapel is peaceful, elegant, and breathtaking in person. Amazing architecture! I wish we could have some of these in TX as well. Tip: it is actually free to go here and appreciate the view but check their availability since this is usually booked for private events, you can always visit the Garvan woodlands garden for a fee in case you’re not lucky

Beautiful chapel within the Garvan Woodland Gardens. Amazing architecture and setting. We were confused about entering the chapel. We had read reviews that it was free to enter however we observed security questioning people exiting the chapel area on whether they had purchased tickets to the garden. We did purchase tickets and were glad we did because the gardens were also beautiful.

We just visited the chapel (which is free) but the nature preserve is paid. It is totally worth checking out - it’s beautiful, surrounded by nature, clean, and has breath taking views! It was a hot day but as soon as we went inside the AC is on full bast which was a huge plus.

The Grand Promenade is a delightful half-mile brick pathway that meanders through the heart of Hot Springs, Arkansas. This pedestrian-friendly walkway runs parallel to Central Avenue and Bathhouse Row, providing visitors with a serene escape from the city's hustle and bustle. As you stroll along this charming path, you'll find plenty of red benches perfect for resting or enjoying conversations while soaking in the beautiful views of the historic district.
It's definitely worth walking the promenade while visiting Hot Springs. You'll see the actual hot springs in action and have opportunities to learn some interesting historical facts about the area surrounding Bathhouse Row.

Nice peaceful place to walk and just chill. They have chess boards built into tables. If you want to stop and play, bring your pieces. The wheelchair ramp is at the main entrance off bathhouse row. Didn't walk whole trail. It is long and you could spend half a day just here. I think it's cool to do at least once. Also, a great place to relax your feet for a bit from walking bathhouse row. Has a lot of history and plaques to describe importance. Bike rack at side entrance. Regular parking is hard to find on busy days in general in Hot Springs, with this not being an exception

Strolling the Grand Promenade! We liked the self-guided walkway down the Grand Promenade, enjoying Hot Springs National Park's amazing atmosphere, with its blend of natural beauty and historical significance. This place offers views of the historic bathhouses, historic architectures and the thermal springs, which are often covered in green "spring boxes" to preserve them from contamination. Several short historic trails begin from this place. This place has "tufa" formations which were unique to us.

20241002 Nice paved brick trail with many branches that take you to the main strip or additional trails. It was nice to see the roof top of some of the Bathhouses from above. Very dogfriendly.

This location in Hot Springs, Arkansas is a gem. Although it was extremely hot outside, we made the trek going up-and-down the promenade and went up the stairs to take a hike. Yes, the water is actually extremely hot, and it was trickling as we walked by, it was steaming and it looked beautiful. I would really enjoy this area on a cold day. They have benches along the walkways, for people to sit down. We didn't have time to do any of the hot baths but at least we were able to touch the hot water from the spring, and fill up a couple of jumps of water before we left. I would definitely recommend anybody to go here, especially because it is free, but also, because it is absolutely gorgeous.

Nice wide walkway along a cliff overlooking downtown Hot Springs. Very nicely maintained and scenic. Several side trails along the promenade and a few fountains for taking a break. It was very relaxing while I was taking here, it is lovely me a huge long park area for pedestrians. Yes they have benches to sit and relax all along the walkway.

Garvan Gardens is a must-see jewel in Hot Springs, AR. The gardens offer about 5 miles of beautiful trails with stunning tulips, waterfalls, butterflies, and various flowers. Visitors can explore the tree house, kids garden, fairy village, and tiny train villages. The park also features a cafe and gift shop. It's an ideal place for families to spend the day with many different garden settings surrounded by a lake and creeks.
Absolutely beautiful. It was one of the highlights of our trip. We did the golf cart tour of the main gardens and it was great. The guide gave inside information about how the gardens are maintained, what each section is about, and points of interesting things you might just walk right past. When you walk up to the Chapel just go ahead and be prepared to have your breathe taken away. It is absolutely gorgeous.

For anyone wanting to visit from out of town, I highly recommend this place. I went with my family this summer and I loved seeing all the green vibrant trees, the famous glass chapel, and the tree house. Luckily it wasn't as hot in the beginning of August when we went there. Plan to spend at least a couple of hours enjoying what nature has to offer here. Just wear some nice comfy shoes. You can donate some money in exchange for some food you'll be able to feed at the koi pond. I recommend buying tickets in advance, but it's not necessary. Overall it's a really nice place to visit.

Beautiful garden. Took us about 2.5 hours to walk around and see things. Still did not see everything. Gardens were beautifully landscaped. Not too crowded. There was a wedding, so was not able to see Anthony Chapel. Snacks at the Chipmunk Cafe were reasonably priced. Had adequate parking. Worth a visit.
Jared A — Google review
Went here with my mom and it was definitely worth it. Got to see the beautiful chapel before a wedding. After we saw the chapel we went into the garden and it was beautiful as well. There was a tree house you can go into and a cave with a waterfall to go into as well. Honestly my mom and I spent most of our time playing around in there. Lol. The chapel was free to visit as long as there is no wedding going on and the garden was $22 to get in when you buy the tickets online and $30 at the gate. In the garden there is a cafe called Chipmuck Cafe that has good food as well. If your in the Hot Springs area of Arkansas, definitely check this place out.
Lizzy G — Google review
If you want to see the chapel, target weekdays evening because be almost certain it’ll be occupied for events. The garden is a nice place to walk. Getting membership is better than one time 22$ entrance fees. Specially if you plan to visit multiple times or other botanical gardens.

Came for a visit in the fall. There wasn’t a whole lot of flowers. Just the ones I posted in the photos. They did look like they were in the process of setting up for Christmas, so maybe we just came at a bad time. Nice paved walkways, just not a lot to see, especially for the price. The Anthony chapel is beautiful, but is free and not part of the paid garden section.
Stephanie F — Google review
We came to Hot Springs as a side trip on our way back from Eureka Springs with the sole purpose of seeing Anthony Chapel. We decided to go ahead and do Garvin Gardens while we were here and it was a really fun afternoon! Due to mobility issues with my traveling partner, we did choose to pay extra for the golf cart tour. We were here on a Saturday after lunch so it was super busy. We lucked up and were able to grab two seats on a golf cart tour that was already booked, but had less than a full cart. There’s absolutely no way that we could’ve walked all of what we saw on the golf cart tour – it was definitely worth spending the extra money to tour the gardens in this way – especially if someone in your party has mobility issues! Side note – for a small donation, you can get a bag of fish food in the welcome center. It was a lot of fun to feed the Koi at the big Koi pond with this food!
Dana M — Google review
What an elegant surprise on our first day visiting the area. The gardens are built in and around rock walls, waterfalls, and trees so it all blends into the landscape perfectly. The St. Anthony Chapel is magnificent as well as the tree house in the back of the gardens. If you have kids, you must find the tree house.

Bar & grill
The Ohio Club, established in 1905, is a historic bar with a colorful past. It was once a popular hangout for gangsters like Al Capone and Lucky Luciano. The interior is adorned with vintage decor, including an 1880s-era mahogany back bar. The venue also features live music and an in-house restaurant called Eden, which offers brunch in the former bathing room of the bathhouse across the street.
A really neat place that gives you the feel of a 1930's speakeasy. We are from Ohio and once I saw the sign outside, I had to stop. We did not order food but just stopped for drinks. I was impressed by the number of local craft beers on tap, around a dozen. They have quite a few specialty cocktails as well. The atmosphere is great. Our bartender was friendly as well.
Steve K — Google review
The food was okay... nothing to write home about, but the atmosphere? Absolutely iconic. I will note the spicy green beans were SO GOOD. The Ohio Club is dripping with history, and if you're even slightly into vintage charm, mobster lore, or old barroom vibes, you'll be hooked. From the massive hand-carved mahogany bar that was hauled here by barge and horse (yes, really), to the wild stories of gangsters, gamblers, and even presidents hanging out here...this place is a living time capsule. Every corner has something cool to look at, and you can feel the stories in the walls. Drinks were solid and definitely worth the price, staff was friendly, and even though the food didn’t blow us away, it’s still a great lunch stop just for the ambiance and the conversation starter it is. You don’t just eat here ... you step into history.

Ate a late breakfast just down the street and walking by we decided to stop in for bloody Mary’s as we had never been here when visiting HS. I always wanted to as I’m intrigued by the w Mafia history. What a great spot!! The ultimate bloody Mary’s did not disappoint at all. Perfect blend w spices and Tajin rim served w a k-bob of yummies w cheese, pickles, sausage, bacon, cucumbers, olives. Super cool atmosphere and some awesome bartenders. Look forward to returning for dinner sometime.

Iconic bar restaurant on bath House Alley. Drinks are a little pricey, they also sell glasses and t-shirts and even charge for small stickers. If I drop $50 at the bar and leave a $15 tip, it sure would be nice if you would give me a $2 sticker. Unfortunately, that's the impression I left with. Next time I'm in Hot Springs I'll give it another shot.

My husband and I stopped in the Ohio Club at lunch today for a Bloody Mary. The waitress, who was so sweet, talked us into ordering a Reuben sandwich which wasn't hard to do considering Reuben's are one of my favorites. It did not disappoint, it was delicious! The Bloody Mary was delicious as well, it came with green olives, cucumbers, cheese, bacon, sausage, a banana pepper, and pickles! Great experience and super cool atmosphere!

Went on a Saturday Evening to take the wife out for her Birthday dinner. Really good atmosphere and food. I got the hangover burger and she got the Hawaiian burger we both enjoyed and ate every bite. Got to enjoy some good live local music later that day. Will definitely be back to try out other things on the menu. If you enjoy a good burger and beer this is the place to go.

Not a lathe place but the atmosphere is amazing. If you want to see where a real OG ended up after leaving New York, check it these digs. The food was better than most bar food. The drinks were spendy but well made. The staff was really friendly and informative. We enjoyed this spot and the history is real. Check it out when you're in Hot Springs, Bathouse Row. There are places to get cheaper drinks but honestly, the story of this spot is worth the upcharge.

Owned by Jon Clowers, a dedicated collector, the museum offers visitors the chance to explore his personal trove of memorabilia through self-guided tours or VIP experiences. Whether you're a die-hard fan or just have a passing interest in these iconic franchises, the museum promises an enjoyable time for all.
This was an awesome experience for my grandson and his grandparents. Diane was a great tour guide and showed us all the great toys of our childhoods and our parents' childhoods, too. If you are in Hot Springs Arkansas for a visit you have to do this tour! They also use their resources and do lots of work for disabled and sick children. We need more people and businesses willing to do that for disadvantaged children. Thank you for a great time.
Kathy S — Google review
It's a great collection of 80's and 90's memorabilia. There are a lot of Star Wars and different Marvel movie costumes and props. It is not that interactive. You get one Polaroid photo and you can wear a Jedi cloak and hold a nice light saber for a photo. You can play a retro game system. It's a short trip that's a little pricy, but the money goes to great causes. I think it's worth at least one visit if you are a fan. ****Update on reply from business. It was ment to be 4 stars not 3, sorry. The cost versus what we got was to high in my opinion. The tour was a little rushed. It took all of maybe 20-30 minutes for her to usher us through each room and speed through the spill for each. We were not allowed to touch or interact with enough stuff in my opinion to advertise as "interactive". Yes, we were allowed to walk back through on our own to take more time to look at things. We were allowed to play on the 3 working game consoles or the couple of arcade games available in turn with the other guests there. We spent about an hour there in total. It's not something I would do again for the money. It's definitely a one and done attraction, but nice if you are a retro or star wars fan. And we were told more things are being added in the future, so that might add more. Plus as mentioned, I love the charity aspect. This is why I gave 4 stars. 5 would have been for a little more time amd information spent on tour and a little more interactive options for the cost.

Very nice idea, and gave us some entertainment in hot springs, and had a friendly staff. I give it a 4/5 because the area for all of it was very dark, the figures looks super old and is a bit of a dated environment. Overall, I enjoyed it and it had some cool figures, but when compared to a museum like the one in Branson it just doesn’t meet the same standards. It is however pretty cheap being $15.
N Z — Google review
We went in here on a Saturday afternoon. Admission was very reasonable, I think $30 for two adults. We were the only people inside, which I liked. It was dark and creepy and chilly, which I liked. Some of the scenes were unhinged, which I really liked. In short, this was my favorite attraction in Hot Springs. If you are strange and unusual like I myself am, you will like this place too. Be sure not to miss Arkansas’s first escalator (no longer in working condition) and a vinyl copy of an Ann-Margret album that is on display because she was romantically involved with some dude who worked there

Took my 15 and my 8 year old sons and to start with my 8 year old was freaking out big time! But I told him we'd be in the seeing some Disney characters so he chilled out some... When he finally got to the wax Disney characters he lit up with excitement!!! He absolutely loved to see all the ones they had!!! My 15 yr old said it was "pretty cool" lol... They also have VR(virtual reality) there! So we did the reverse bungee jump well I attempted it but had to stop midway 🤣 and then they did Pinocchio's adventure after the reverse bungee jump... This was my second time to go. I wanted my kids to experience it so definitely recommend it for any age!!!

Nice little piece of history in this exhibit. Over 100 wax figurines and a brief history of the city's gambling ring throughout the 30s and 40s. There's a free wine tasting after the tour where you can sample some of the original "shine-wine" that Al Capone used to drink

The Mountain Valley Spring Co - Visitor Center and Museum is housed in a historic Classical Revival building dating back to 1910, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This iconic brand has been sourcing its mineral-rich spring water from the Ouachitas wilderness for over 150 years, quenching the thirst of famous figures like Elvis Presley and even U.S. Presidents.
We didn’t really look around at the museum, and the merch was okay, but the water here is outstanding. It’s kinda like Fiji water, it’s very smooth and tasty, but it’s clearer if that makes any sense. More “natural” I guess. Anyway, we’ve bought several bottles (which were much cheaper than Fiji for dang sure!) and we plan to fill a growler or two before we head back home.

I don't get how a water store has no spring water. If they did, the prices wouldve been reasonable. I'm rather upset that I traveled from a different town to get it because my store in Little Rock is out as well. The girl said they are not receiving consistent deliveries. Which the guy at the counter started giving her hell. She didn't deserve the disrespect. I love my water like everyone else, but it's not her fault about deliveries. She definitely handled it better than me.

I'm told all of their favors are completely natural ingredients. The price is reasonable too. There's also a museum upstairs that's opened to the public. Some of the items here date back to 1920. There may be some older items. I tried to see it all but there's a lot to see. This shop is spacious so regardless of the crowd it's easy to move around. Park close by so you can load the water. I believe they load it for you on the side of the building where the parking lot is.

I didn’t want to leave any stars but I needed this dialogue box to pop up. My family and I walked in and were barely greeted. We wanted to see the museum and was dryly informed that it was closed although it didn’t say it on their website before driving down here. Once inside, the two staff, a white male and a while female barely spoke and acted as if we didn’t belong in this space. I instantly felt a certain way and decided in that moment that I would not be spending any money here and that I would take a moment to sit on the bench outside their store and pen this review. There was no way that you could’ve found two people who did not appear to enjoy their job or have customer service qualities in the same place at the same time, so I’d wager that there were other reasons for their attitudes. #clockout.

The girl at the store was super informative. The store may have been out of spring water this weekend, so unfortunately we didn't get to taste, but she made sure to tell us everything we asked about the history. She told us she's born and raised in town and knew all the great restaurants to try and the wax museum secret tunnels. She made the trip with my fiancé to hot springs easier to navigate. We believe her name is Anna. We will be back! Thank you Anna!

When visiting Hot Springs take in the sights and some education. PROs: No charge to visit; unguided tour. The gentlemen were friendly and offered assistance if we had questions. Appreciative they kept original items and provided history. CONs: The top floor was closed off. The floor supposedly was the ballroom and is decorated in Asian flair.

Nestled in a charming old train depot, the Hot Springs Farmers' Market is a delightful semi-regular event that brings together local farmers, florists, bakers, and artisans. This vibrant market showcases an array of fresh produce alongside unique handmade goods like quilts and honey jars. Authenticity reigns supreme here; you won't find any corporate vendors—just passionate locals eager to share their crafts.
OK this is awesome on an epic level and shout out to Prince, cool dude with a booth of suncatchers , rings , earrings, handmade and very one of a kind!! This is for sure a good time!! They open today at 10!!
Paula M — Google review
The market is cute and relatively small. There are a lot of tables with the same items, so not a lot of variety. The overarching theme is folks selling veggies (which looked great), art, and breads. There were some good outliers, such as dog treats and meats, but overall there's not too much variety. It's right next to the war memorial park, and I definitely recommend looking around there.

This is the cutest farmers market! I love that it's open year round and most everyone is from Hot Springs or surrounding areas. Love supporting local companies. All of the fruit, vegetables and bread items are outstanding. There's wood working vendors, essential oils, handmade cosmetics, jewelry, bags, on the spot portrait drawings, BBQ sauce, jellies, you name, it's there. We try to go every time we visit.

The folks here our so amazing, friendly and enjoyed talking to numerous vendors!! We came up from Hernando, MS just to visit Hot Springs and for sure the Market!! The stuff we bought was reasonable priced and soooo Worth the quality!! Won't regret it and a must stop for sure! It's all year round also just FYI The Veterans Memorial is right across the street as well! Thank You to all the the vendors who were there and truly appreciate your hospitality!!

Saturday market 7 to 12 September first week, the times may change based on the season. Worth the visit and it is a small market. Lots of bakery items and we got extra fermented sourdough bread, soaps, two different oregano plants, and others. Farmers are friendly and chatty. We loved it. Plenty of free parking.

Visited the market while on a trip! There's fun stuff to find here, not a ton of produce but nice to see local artisans. Always love finding tallow lip balm!!!

Variety of vendors and many to choose from. Bakery, veggies. Soap, plants, crafts. Bought my first purple hull peas there. Delicious! Also bought BBQ sauce, which was great on wings. Vendors are friendly and helpful.

Nestled in the heart of Hot Springs, Arkansas, the Ozark Bathhouse stands as a testament to early 20th-century architecture with its stunning Spanish colonial facade. Originally constructed in 1922, this historic bathhouse was designed to attract middle-class visitors seeking the therapeutic benefits of the region's famous mineral baths without excessive frills. Today, it has transformed into a vibrant cultural center that hosts various events and programs celebrating local history and community spirit.
This is a beautiful historic home in Pennsylvania and the local government is trying to tear it down they put a prison next to it and now they're trying to put a methadone clinic next to it this place has a lot of history gangsters and politicians alike have sat in this house at the dining table and it is owned by a very nice and wonderful family now but the local government has been trying to push them out and keep trying to surround them with more problems so if you know this place please help to protect it write your local politician and tell them please save this house

Wow ! We did the couple private hot springs bath. It was great, private, 20ish minutes, which was more than enough for us and cold cucumber water, and a cold peppermint damp cloth. We really enjoyed it. A private oasis. Staff were also very service orientated and nice.

Outback Steakhouse is a lively Australian-themed dining destination that specializes in serving up hearty steaks, seafood, and classic steakhouse dishes. While the atmosphere buzzes with energy, it’s clear that the staff are dedicated to providing excellent service despite facing challenges like staffing shortages. Guests have noted some delays in receiving bread and drinks; however, many commend the attentive servers who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience.
We had lunch at Hot Springs Outback today for my son in laws birthday. Everyone’s food was cooked perfectly and delicious! The bathrooms were spotless the whole restaurant looked clean as compared to six months ago. They have a new manager and it shows! The hostess and our server Brian worked with me to get a cake I made delivered to our table at the end of our meal. They were so helpful and made it so easy and special. Have to admit my husband and I had stopped eating at this Outback for several reasons but there is a new Sheriff/manager in town and things have definitely changed. Brian thank you for your great service and friendly smile and thank you to the hostess and Manager for making everything run so smoothly. We will be back soon! So happy things have changed with the new manager and servers. Give this Outback another try!

Had some hot wings and a fried chicken meal with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. Not a fan of the flavor of the wings, and they were not spicy. Potatoes were less than good. Veggies were ok, fried chicken barely made the okay status. Sat at the bar. Service was just ok. With Alcohol it was $100 bill without tip. You can do better pretty much anywhere else. Oh and P.S. the tap Ultra was super sweet, to the point we couldn’t drink it.

Welp. Steakhouse for Mother’s Day and wow what a flop. No bread had to ask. Sweet tea was mid. Strawberry lemonade was decent. Baked potato was unbelievable and fillet was great. Interesting Mother’s Day lunch.

Ate here for lunch with some coworkers. Our server was attentive and our drinks were never empty. The food to timed well and cooked perfectly. We ordered the blooming onion (a staple here), bone in ribeye (rare) with some shrimp on top, and the steak Mac & Cheese. I am picky with my Mac and cheese. This one was gooey and cheesy, perfect. Many are chalky and/or dry, but not this one.
Michael G — Google review
Excellent food quality, great service. The prices are fair. My steak was cooked perfectly, my salad was delicious, my potato was great. Those loaves of brown bread are good. The cheesecake was really good.
Paul G — Google review
The steak was overcooked, but they fixed another one very quickly! It was excellent. My wife had Alice Springs chicken. It was the BEST chicken we ever ate! Service was excellent as well!! Highly recommend this restaurant!!!
Brian H — Google review
The atmosphere was nice and relaxing and the service was amazing. However the steaks were not good at all. One was too done and rubbery, one was too raw and was sent back, and one had so much fat on it, there was not really any meat there at all. They were really nice and tried to make it right by discounting it which was appreciated. But it was a shame that the food was not very good because my mom specifically asked for that restaurant for her birthday. Maybe it was just an off night for the cook but we won't be back.
Amy D — Google review
Went in the middle of lunchtime on a beautiful 80 degree Saturday. Absolutely zero customer service as we walked in. Waited 20 minutes for a server that had no clue what she was doing on the scanner in her hands taking our drink order, waited another 20 minutes for our drinks/appetizer that never came. Waitress came back to a table across from us, still no drinks and hadn’t even had our food orders taken yet. Ended up leaving because it was so comical. Won’t be long before the is place shuts down.

The Avenue Restaurant At The Waters Hotel offers a contemporary setting with a focus on American classic dishes and cocktails. It has received the TripAdvisor 2019 Certificate of Excellence Winner. The menu features a variety of delectable items such as Crab Cake Starters, herb-crusted lamb chops, pan-seared salmon, and Pomodoro Primavera. The restaurant provides a classy atmosphere with options for both people-watching by the windows or enjoying privacy at high-top tables.
The food at The Avenue was absolutely delicious! The eggs Benedict were perfectly prepared. It was rich, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The real standout, though, was the roasted potatoes—soft and pillow-like on the inside with just the right amount of crisp on the outside. The atmosphere was equally delightful; warm, inviting, and the perfect setting for a relaxing brunch. Can’t wait to go back!

We went here for dinner. Headsup, if you're hungry and want your food to be available fast, this is not the place for you. We were told to sit anywhere. As soon as we sat, the server gave us water and took our orders. Thats when the waiting game starts, we ordered the ossobucco and the broken beef meatloaf, server said it will take 25 mins which we are initially ok. So we ordered crab cake as appetizer. That took about 30 mins before it was served to us. The crab cake was so good. You can actually see big chunks of crab meat on it. It took another 20 mins from the time time that we finished the appetizer to the time my entree was served. Ossobucco was fantastic, it was so tender and flavorful. The collared greens that comes with it was tad salty for my taste. So it took almost 1 hour for us to get our entree in total. Dont get me wrong, the food was phenomenal but with the wait time, i dont known if its worth it.

THE WATERS HOTEL- AVENUE RESTAURANT we stayed at this hotel during spring break. the hotel was fine, food tasted fine, unfortunately we got downstairs at 10:00AM for breakfast and had to wait TWO hours for our food. we had to request a late-check out due to their service and it still wasn’t enough, we had to rush upstairs to get our luggage. there were only 3 other tables in the restaurant. didn’t make sense. public customers who were NOT staying at the hotel arrived, got seated and served food before we were ever helped. service on the rooftop bar was terrible as well, the same two people serving at the bar were the same two people serving breakfast. for $700+ per night we definitely expected a different experience. we will not be back. waiting two hours for food is NOT WORTH VACATION TIME. they were also out of gravy and jelly.

Funny, had to go to Hot Springs to get the best crab cakes. Meat loaf was delicious, made fresh, never frozen. Everything on menu was great. Chef is amazing and very friendly. If you looked at old reviews, disregard. New cook and staff, also bar upstairs is great now Hotel is real piece of unique history. Don’t miss the Ohio club next door. This was about 1 month ago. Thanks Chef. Pictures: No Urinal is clean it’s original. Ohio club and hotel rooftop bar.

We sat for about 15 minutes without any service while the wait staff argued over who would take our table. The table behind us arrived after we did, yet they were served drinks and placed their order right away. When we finally got up to leave, no one acknowledged us. I asked if anyone was planning to serve our table, and the response was that they were still trying to figure it out. It was especially disappointing because we were greeted so warmly by the host, but the experience ended with us walking out without ever being served.

Went here about 10am for Brunch New Year’s Eve, table of 2. I was looking for somewhere that had Shrimp and grits and could nail it and they definitely did. My love got the Birria Chilaquilles it was an amazing flavor for everything in one bite. We also had one cocktail each. They are seasonal. The waitress we had was very enthusiastic and tentative. Definitely will be back
Brit D — Google review
We had an extremely pleasing experience at this restaurant. The staff made us feel welcome, when we walked in the door, without sounding forced. Within no time, we had water on our table and a drink order. It was a hot day - this had much more importance than it otherwise would. I ordered a martini while my partner ordered a blackberry bramble. The martini was excellent and I had a sip of the blackberry bramble - it was good. For food, I ordered The Avenue omelet (it contained cheese, onion, potato, and shaved ribeye), my partner ordered the dish with eggs, tortilla chips, and some meat (a chilaquiles dish?) it looked delicious and she said it was filling and wonderful. The decor accented the space well, the lights were low-key and had a color that highlighted the art work on the walls - the atmosphere was perfect.
Sva A — Google review
The owner of this establishment needs to step in with the staff. When you have to stare at employees standing around talking, while getting ZERO service, and they do everything they can to not make eye contact, it's an embarrassment (we were seated, and after more then 15 minutes were never spoken too and another table was seated 10 minutes later and got waters and ordered food while we were still waiting for the first person to speak to us) . I wish I was a vulgar, outspoken patron that would have stood up and made a scene, but that is wholly unfair to the other customers that are paying for their meal. This is the first time I have ever stood up and walked out of a restaurant. The management of this establishment needs to step in to correct this restaurant before I would ever imagine going back.

If you're in the mood for a delightful culinary experience, look no further than Osaka Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar. This charming eatery offers a menu brimming with classic sushi rolls and expertly grilled steaks, all set within a cozy atmosphere highlighted by its unique pagoda-style bar. Perfect for date nights or casual lunches, Osaka serves up traditional Bento Boxes during lunchtime that include an array of delicious items like spring rolls, salad, miso soup, rice, California rolls, and your choice of entrée.
This Japanese restaurant is absolutely fantastic! It’s super authentic, and the food is incredible. The hibachi is always a hit, and the steak is perfectly cooked. The sushi rolls are also top-notch. They have authentic Japanese seating, which I thought was really cool. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

I really enjoyed the style and the food at OSAKA JAPANESE STEAKHOUSE & SUSHI BAR. The spacious atmosphere, with traditional Japanese seating areas for large groups, was impressive. I ordered the Geisha roll, Sashimi, Osaka Bento Boxes with Beef Teriyaki, and the Tuna Tower.
Tu N — Google review
Some locals are extremely fans of Osaka, food is good but not for the price. A restaurant is a ballance between cost and quality. An expensive one you expect food, service and atmosphere accordingly. That is not the case at Osaka. Its good food, reasonable atmosphere and great service however for the price it does not add up hence the lower rating. Is it worth it? Maybe to some, however I would rather spend my dollars somewhere else personally. I know several who love this place.. I cant imagine this is the best Hotsprings has to offer. Ive had far better elsewhere across the country.

We want to Hot Springs, AR for a nice relaxing weekend of hiking and decided to have a nice little dinner the night before. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, nice and quiet. They had some traditional style tables available as well. I really enjoyed their peppered tuna sashimi, I always have to try it when I go to a new restaurant. We also tried their Cajun and candy crush rolls which were soooo good and fresh. We ordered the Gyoza as an appetizer and it didn’t disappoint. The service was really great, our server was so friendly and sweet. If we visit Hot Springs again, we will definitely come back.

This is a great Japanese restaurant in Hot Springs. The service here was great. All of the food was delicious. It is really easy to find using Google Maps. Absolutely love this library! Love their Friends of the Library Volunteers too.

Nice people working there. The kids really like the children's area. Plenty of tables and private spaces to work. One less star for the smells-- several stinky odors just going in and out through the doors to enter and in the restroom, and more odors inside the library itself. Need to invest in baking soda to absorb these-- it's pretty inexpensive

I always enjoy a trip to our library. Finding parking took us a few minutes, but then we were able to walk about without with no problem. Pretty downtown, but sidewalks are full of smokers & vapers in the middle of a health & wellness mecca -ruined the air quality, ambiance, & experience. A city wide smoking & vaping ban needs to be put into place immediately or you'll lose repeat visitors, especially people with young children. We were shocked & appalled at the amount of people smoking outside the bathhouses & shops & in the park(s) right in our face.

It is highly praised for its cleanliness and amenities, making it a popular choice for travelers exploring the area's unique attractions.
We had an amazing stay at the KOA in Hot Springs, Arkansas! From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. A special shoutout to Jesse, who went out of his way to help us get our propane filled up—his kindness and professionalism really stood out. The campground itself is beautifully maintained, with clean facilities and well-kept grounds. The fishing pond is absolutely gorgeous—a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy nature. Whether you’re looking to unwind by the water or explore the local area, this KOA is the perfect home base. We highly recommend this campground and will definitely be back on our next trip through Hot Springs!

We recently stayed at this KOA in Hot Springs. Our site was beautiful. The place is run so well. The staff working in the office were incredibly helpful and nice. I would like to especially thank Jessie who helped us after we accidentally tore off our awning. It was an extremely stressful moment but he helped us keep things in perspective, gave us kind words and went through the work of getting rid of our awning for us, and that was everything that day. I cannot say enough kind words for this incredible man. I hope KOA knows his value.

Stayed in an RV site. Sites definitely need to be upgraded. While sites were fairly level, wood retaining walls between and behind sites are deteriorating. Bathrooms were clean and staff were friendly. There are zero views from campsites. Views are driving to and from campground. Our views consisted looking at campers behind, beside and in front of us. Very surprised that this campground meets KOA requirements, as MANY of the campsites need repairs. With that said, location, location, location. I stayed for the location. Campground was quiet.

Great location to downtown. Bathrooms were clean. Parking was tight so if you have a larger rig make sure to reserve a pull threw. We were in the Garden pull threw site right near the front entrance. Lots of activity but got quieter after the weekend. Dog park was nice and pool looked good.

Great campground. Staff friendly & all facilities were kept nice and clean. The entrance to the camp is fine but coming off the service road can be tricky- this has nothing to do with the KOA campground it’s a Hot Springs city/Garland county road maintenance issue. Wonderful campground will definitely return

Great RV Park! The staff was very nice. We stayed on lot D-22 which is a gravel lot and had a private fenced in yard for a 8lb fur~baby 🐶 it also had a gas grill, table & chairs and 2 rocking chairs on a concrete pad. There was a waste station and artificial grass for pet business. Each site had a fire pit. They offer little cabins you can rent if you don’t have a RV. There is also an onsite store that carries miscellaneous RV needs, ice, souvenir shirts, ice cream & Fire wood. There is a coin Laundry room onsite. There is a play area for children & they have a six car little train they ride the kids around in the evening. Fun activities for the kiddos. We didn’t use the pool but, they do have one. We had shade trees, which kept us shaded most of the time except for high noon. We enjoyed 4 night here.

We stayed here this weekend & had a great time!! We were in cabin 1 & it had ac, a tv, bunk beds, a full sized bed, picnic table, & fire pit. We loved the store & the campground was beautiful. Would definitely stay here again!!

I know a lot is going on (my understanding was just bought to be a KOA) There is construction, nothing disturbing, putting in paw pens, new outdoor furniture etc.. If you like to walk, you will get exercise. It has a lot of hills, I did like how it's not all in a row (rvs) . There are 4 over here, 5 there, 6 there etc.. nice layout. Staff was friendly. when I was able to walk the hill & go into the store (health issues) She got me a ride back to my rig. there are shady spots a lot we asked for more open for our satellite dish Had lights at all spots you could turn on at night. clean restrooms. If we return to Hot Springs we will come back here, very close to town, less than 10 miles where you can walk around with no problem.

Had a blast playing golf for the first time ever in a tournament for the Humane Society! Can't wait to join and actually learn how to play golf!

I was there for a wedding reception and it was beautiful.

Played Park course. Beautiful course and views. The greens were smooth, fast and well manicured. The pace of play was wonderful. Pricey compared to the places I normally play ($150), but money well spent in my opinion. My only complaint would be the lack of military discount. I will be returning to play the Arlington course.

Great service and delicious food!!! They hook you up on the food so much you can't see plate holding it lol... very nice place!!!
Lavonda S — Google review
They are the best team when it comes to charity golf tournaments!!! 2nd year for our Kiwanis Club. Barry and his team help us so much with all of the details.

Very nice golf course. Had a great time playing here. The course was in great condition and we had good weather to boot.
Sam C — Google review
We were very excited to play this course based on the reviews that we saw online. Upon arrival however, the facility seemed very disorganized and the hospitality was subpar (No pun intended). The course was in a condition that should be unexpected for the green fee. The complimentary range balls were a plus.
Drew G — Google review
It was a completely different experience from what I was expecting and who knew that there was so much Science and Technology that went into a Gulf Course.

Historical landmark
Hot Springs: The Birthplace of Spring Baseball Historic Marker is a must-visit for baseball enthusiasts. Every August, the city hosts the annual Hot Springs Baseball Weekend, offering free activities to celebrate its significant role as the birthplace of Major League Baseball spring training. Visitors can embark on a thrilling scavenger hunt to discover all 33 markers along the trail and delve into the rich history of this beloved sport.
Dear Baseball Fanatics, this is your adventure in Hot Springs! We consider ourselves baseball fans, but had no idea this awaited us! We found marker 17 of 33 by the grace of God while waiting for a table at Best Cafe down the street (see my review on that amazing restaurant). That sparked a scavenger hunt to hit all 33 markers along this trail and learn so much about the history of this game we love!
