Theme park
Water & Amusement Parks
Water Parks
LEGOLAND® Florida Resort is a large amusement park with a Lego theme, offering rides, a water park, dining options, and entertainment shows. The resort opened in 2011 and pays homage to the history of Cypress Gardens. Lake Eloise has been hosting waterski shows since the 1930s and was invaded by Captain Brickbeard and his crew to establish their pirate academy on this historic site.
It was absolutely amazing. We opened the park on a Tuesday morning and it felt like we had the park to ourselves. We rode each ride so many times, sometimes two or three times in a row without a wait. No wait was over 5 minutes. The staff was just so friendly and helpful! My son fell at the Ferrari exhibit and Molly the on call medic came to the rescue. She was professional and caring to my 6 year old. Denise at the entrance went out of her way to fix our ticket error, 100% my fault but she found a way to make it work and we are so happy she took the time to help us! Zoe was working the picture booth and another staff member who was excellent! We happened to be looking at our pictures, hadn't purchased any all day but she explained how it worked and pulled all our photos from all the rides and we were happy to purchase the photo package. Let me say it is well worth it for $42 the fact that they add in motion video along with the still photos was super cool! Overall a great break from Disney and my kids who are huge lego fans had the time of their life!

Great for kids of most ages. Perfect for kids between 4-13, as this park is catered to this age group. So the rides aren't extreme, and good enough for smaller kids. Fun little place. Expect to spend a high mark up on any food. They could work on making their park entry car lanes MUCH better to prevent a 45+ minute bottleneck.

Where do I start...... Amazing park friendly staff! A lot of food options and a lot of fun stores for kids! Ride had no wait max 5 minutes only a couple of rides were closed most of them were open though! Rides were kid-friendly and the shows were awesome the park was big and not crowded! Really clean park and bathrooms! And a lot of fun Lego statues! Even had a garden! A lot of shaded areas so we didn't get hot! Honestly such a fun and not crowded park!!! Really enjoyed it!!! Would recommend to everyone! ❤️ 11/10 Amazing!

My granddaughter and family enjoyed this park. We visited during the week, and the weather was beautiful, with no crowds. My favorites were Lego City and the aquarium. My three-year-old granddaughter is still talking about all the rides she and her parents were able to take her on. There are height restrictions for most rides, but she met most of them. Fortunately, the second day we went (the second day was Pepperpig Park) was the only day parking was being collected, and the fee was between $35 and $50. Despite the cost, we would definitely go again.

This is our second time visiting the Legoland Resort and staying at the Legoland Hotel and it's always a great time for the family! The hotel is not cheap but it's so worth it! There are Legos everywhere to keep the kids entertained, Pajama dance party, fun themed rooms, fire pit and s'mores, fireworks show and a great pool area! We went to the park during Brick or Treat and that was great! Lots of candy and no wait times for the rides, we enjoyed the Cypress Gardens area. We can't wait to go back!
Michi S — Google review
How does this theme park for kids have an average rating of 4.4 as of right now as I’m typing this? That’s wild. We went there today with my almost 3 and 5 year olds and it was better than those parks over in Orlando (I won’t name names). Calm atmosphere, 5 minute wait times for all the rides, kid friendly atmosphere as in everything is catered to littles, really fun rides, beautiful landscape, etc… My son loved the coasters and the dark rides, and my daughter loves Duplo Valley so there’s a little bit of everything for everyone. My husband loved the botanical garden. So yes, there’s a botanical garden INSIDE the theme park. Maybe to preserve Florida heritage. It has a monstrous banyan tree, waterfall, bridges, lakeside views, etc.. A seriously PERFECT quiet garden with pathways to get your little to sleep. What a wonderful break from the park. Definitely coming back. The only disappointment was the pirate cove boat ride was closed. We really want to ride it.
Bella L — Google review
Absolute best experience! We didn’t wait much at all for any rides, clean bathrooms, great staff and overall great value for the money. Our kids had a blast! Also got free candy for Halloween week.
Alex L — Google review
I have lived in Orlando 20+ years and have been to all of the theme park Halloween parties. This one was hands down the best of the bunch for kids. Came home with tons of candy and the shows and parties were top notch. My kid enjoyed it so much we didn’t have enough time to finish the park in one day. I opted to upgrade our one day passes to the bronze annual pass. It cost me all of $25 a person more to come back all year. Well worth it. The only reason we don’t frequent it more is because the 18 mile drive down US 27 once you get off Interstate 4 can be painful. Can take up to 45 minutes if you hit all the red lights and local traffic. Everyone we encountered working there was super nice and helpful. If you encounter some staff that seems like they hate life, its due to crappy customers. We did encounter some shitty guests along the way. Par for the course of an inexpensive park in the middle of nowhere Florida. Had an able bodied jerk decide he had to sit on the bench on the carousel where I was already sitting. I’m a disabled woman. He basically sat down in my lap. I also got cursed out for standing my ground and not letting a party of 4 cut the line of my party of 2. There were exactly 4 seats left on the coaster and it was the longest wait of the day. The attendant asked if I would mind letting a party of 4 ahead of my party of 2. I said yes I mind and no. If I gave up our seats we would have had to wait 15 minutes for the next ride. I feel it was extremely inappropriate and unfair for the attendant to even ask me to do that. We also had people try and cut the line at guest services. Just be prepared that you may have to call people out and ask them to wait in line like everyone else. However for $150 for an annual pass which is less than one day at Disney the park is well worth it. We went Halloween weekend the final night of Brick or Treat when it was what would be considered “super busy”. The longest wait we had was 20 minutes. Almost everything today had a wait of 5-10 minutes. If you don’t want to get caught up in a lot of closures then go on the weekend. I imagine they are short staffed during the week and that’s why others have encountered closures and lack of cleanliness. During our visit all of the important things, the restaurants, and restrooms were clean and well kept. Some things could use a little paint or TLC but nothing so off putting I wouldn’t come back. Peppa Pig Theme Park is starting to look a little rough and could use a refresh. Its been open 3 years and Legoland is in much better shape at 15 years. Overall if you have small kids this is a great park and I highly recommend their special events.

The Dragon

Roller coaster
"The Dragon" is a family-friendly roller coaster located in a park that offers a variety of thrilling rides and attractions for visitors of all ages. This coaster is often recommended as an ideal first-time experience for young children, providing an exciting but not overly intense introduction to roller coasters. The ride begins with a slow journey inside a building where passengers can enjoy a charming story featuring animated Lego characters. Once outside, the coaster delivers a fun and relatively short ride through medieval-themed scenes constructed with giant Legos.
Super cute park! As an adult I had a wonderful time. My son very much enjoyed the driving school. The Ninjago ride was also a family favorite. There were rides for everyone in the family to have fun on and the Mini City was spectacular. The amount of detail and time put into this park is incredible. I don’t think one day is enough as we didn’t complete everything. We can’t wait to go back.
Ann C — Google review
The Dragon is an incredibly fun roller coaster for kids. The castle theming is also pretty strong. Some of the LEGO models on this ride are huge and pretty awesome. It's nothing intense, but it's still a fun ride that older kids will enjoy as well. But kids about 7-9 will absolutely love it. Intensity Rating: 4/10 Overall Rating: 8.5/10

Lego land is fun for all ages. I'm 42 and have as much fun as my 3 kids. My wife has to tell me to keep moving 🙃
Ottie N — Google review
The Dragon roller coaster is a perfect first time roller coaster for any kid. I have a very couscous kid. She just made the height requirement for the ride. She was slightly scared due to never riding on a coaster before, she did GREAT! The ride wait wasn't long either, the longest I saw it during the time we were there was less than 30 minutes. The ride was great. You sit in a cool dragon. The ride starts out slow inside a building telling a short but cute story with animated Lego charters. The ride takes you outside. The location of the ride is pretty neat inside the park. The incline part of the ride can be seen at the entrance of the park. The ride is smooth and only has a few turns before it goes back inside. The ride on last about 2-3 minutes. Highly recommended ride.
Chris C — Google review
This is a very easy and relatively smooth roller coaster. It is definitely geared towards younger children. It begins with a dark ride and proceeds to the coaster section afterwards. If you're looking for a very basic entry level rollercoaster to try with your child, this is it.
Andrew M — Google review
Awesome ride!! I really cant say enough about legoland as a whole. Amazing staff, rides, and a great amount of fun for both kids and adults of all ages!!!

Great place! Went in family and i had a great time. Tickets a little expensive but you have a great time specially if you with kids.
Zer0Ken O — Google review
We didn't get to this coaster in Legoland until the end of our visit, so lines were very short. If you're not a fan of coasters, this one is just right. No big drops, no upside-down loops, just some hills and corkscrew turns. Before the coaster begins the ride passes through several rooms of animated Lego constructions related to medieval themes. This adds a nice length of time to the experience.

LEGOLAND® Florida Water Park

4.5
(7285)
LEGOLAND Florida Water Park is a paradise for Lego enthusiasts, with Lego elements scattered throughout the park. The mini city and Star Wars-themed displays are particularly impressive, featuring movable components like spraying boats and driving cars. Formerly known as Splash Island at Cypress Gardens, this water park now boasts a LEGO theme and is included with admission to the main LEGOLAND theme park. Geared towards children up to 12 years old, the water park offers a fun experience with minimal wait times for attractions.
We took our grands and we all enjoyed it. Not frenzied like disney, enough to keep all ages engaged. The boat ride was very engaging having us look for different things and had a physical experience along with the characters. There's a Lego rendering of most of the iconic places in the world.
Joanne H — Google review
Too far. No transportation. No shuttle. It is a separate park with separate entrance fee. 45 minute walk with kids from the park entrance, uphill... The kids have a blast at the park, but both us and them were already tired when we got there. Food and drink options are poor at best. They just don't want to feed you I guess. The lazy river was a bit dirty. On a Sunday morning, there were reasonable wait at the slides for kids. They had a very good time. The return walk was exhausting too. They really need some shuttle service to the water park if they charge a separate entrance fee. It is ridiculously and unreasonably far to walk with kids.
Duray A — Google review
This park was amazing. Out of all the parks we visited this was the one that my 6 year old son loved the most. There were multiple areas to just relax and play. The rides were little to no wait time during the weekdays. We got the combo tickets and were able to visit sea life. But be aware that on the weekdays there’s limited hours. Peppa pig park was closed on Tuesday and LEGOLAND park was closed on Wednesday. So if you buy the multi park tickets or 3 day pass you have to plan accordingly. The waterpark is only open on Fri-Sun during the off season

Six in group - my wife and I, son in law, his wofe and two grand chikdren. Bought two day pass for rides and water park. Fast pass addition is essential or one waits forever. Drinks and food EXORBORENT - one bottle water for price of case at grocery. Pretty spread out so rented (expensive) electric buggy. No assistance from parking to gate so services rather sparse. All was fine and enjoyable but 2 grand for a family of 6 says one time is fine. Dont know how families can afford, really a free trip to thebeach is a better chpice. No complaints but no WOW, and they get you on every incidental (parking, food, assistance, fast pass). Good memory but once and cross off the bucket list is probably adequate. The new Sea Life Aquarium (also ala carte up charge) is beautiful and supports a good cause. Just find the economics of tjis type of entertainmemt does not make me think we won't see some more closures. Not enough money to burn sadly. Worth a visit but no WOW.

Legoland was definitely fun and not as crowded which was a nice change for a park 😅 perfectly geared towards younger kids with some great ride options! Everyone in the park was nice but the food is very mehhh... not that I expected much I guess 😅 Overall priced so so in my opinion.. for 1 day family of 4 to the main park you're looking at about $375 so definitely cheaper than other big parks but not cheap either.
Sara A — Google review
Water park at legoland was the best thing for the hottest day of the year so far. Legoland was not overcrowded at all, we got on rides quickly everyone had fun! Would do it again with the grandkids.

We had a great time. Wish we got there earlier since we visited the peppa pig park first. There's so much to see and do here. I will visit again since we didn't get to everything.

PEPPA PIG Theme Park Florida

4.2

Theme park
Amusement park
Located in Winter Haven, Florida, the Peppa Pig Theme Park is a newly opened attraction designed specifically for preschoolers. Adjacent to LEGOLAND Florida Resort, this park offers an interactive and entertaining experience for young children. Visitors have praised the park's manageable size, which makes it easy to navigate and minimizes wait times for rides. The park features various activities and character encounters that bring joy to young visitors, with one of the highlights being a balloon ride that kids love.
Oh my goodness , this little park so amazing for little kiddos, worth the time and money. We were there for 4 hours and did every ride(5 in total), the sand play area, the water play area(bring a bathing suit and towel), they have a small under 2 year old enclosed play area for babies, one small gift shop, a little cinema that plays cartoons and has beanbags for the kiddos and benches for the adults kinda a cool down from the heat area. Plenty of restroom stalls including two kid size toilets, plenty of changing stations 2 in ladies restroom then around the corner a changing room with 4 more baby changing tables and sinks. One restaurant with some basic things for both kids and adults you can in there or if you prefer picnic areas you can bring in coolers and food but see their website for restrictions. My 3 year old niece had a blast.. everything was perfect for her. We brought a day ticket but considering of buying an annual pass soon.
Jean E — Google review
Brought my 4 year old (the main one who wanted to go) and 9 and 11 year old everything was like a step too small even for my 4 year old. But all the kids loved daddy pigs coaster and the splash park. The boat ride, Dino ride and bounce ride were fun for my 4 year old but my older ones found them too lame. Can definitely walk and do every ride in the park within an hour not considering wait times for rides. They have a nice AC cinema to relax and watch some peppa episodes.
Cheyenne R — Google review
I came here for Mother’s Day last year and it was a perfect place to spend the day with my baby! She was only 2 at the time and couldn’t ride all of the rides, but there were still many rides that she did enjoy! She mostly enjoyed the splash pad! It was large and so many water fountains for her to run through and play with. The park itself is absolutely beautiful! You will get beautiful pictures everywhere! We actually didn’t prepare bathing suits, but there was a store with towels and bathing suits and it was perfect. Besides rides, stores, food venues and a splash pad, there is also a sand box. The place is beautiful and fun and I recommend to anyone with a child who loves Peppa! I will be back soon!
Kimberly N — Google review
The park is well-suited for toddlers with rides that have no lines. There aren’t many activities, so the visit can be completed in about 1.5 hours. Parking at $35 seems expensive given the parks small size. The full ticket price of $64 feels to high for the offerings, buying the tickets online may provide a better deal. The kids cinema was a great spot to relax and escape the heat. Food options for adults are limited, leading you to eat outside the park. The kids menu offers standard choices like mac and cheese and cheese pizza which is satisfactory.
W M — Google review
Absolutely worth it. The splash pad alone is worth it. Staff is amazing and all the rides are perfect for kids. Read up online about height standards to avoid a line and being excited for something your child can't ride/ ride alone. The food is overrated so packing a lunch is best. Plenty of areas to have a picnic. NO CASH. Be prepared to use a card or purchase a reloadable card near ticket window. Buy tickets online to save a few bucks. Spring to late May is the best time to visit.
Iliana R — Google review
This is the PERFECT theme park near Orlando that is 100% geared towards babies and toddlers. A little far but if you can manage it is worth it! My daughter and I went during the week and hardly had to wait in line for any rides. They have playgrounds, fun interactive shows, character meets, a diner with surprisingly good food, a cinema to cool off in and so much more! We spent the entire day there and my 2.5 year old never got tired of it. As long as your little one is 36 inches tall, they can ride everything. All she’s said since we left was—“mommy, the coaster!” I will say, for a toddler coaster it goes pretty fast 😂😂 Also as a tip, buy parking online, bring your own food if trying to save money and sometimes the car line is long to get into the park!
Tatum S — Google review
My 4yr old loved it! The park isn't too big so it's not overwhelming. We were able to ride EVERYTHING and do all activities. There was either NO wait or 5mins wait max. So quick. Way better than the other theme parks where you have to wait 45-1hr. I can say the rides are short. About 1-2 minutes but it was cool. I was able to ride all rides with her. Not much food options so pack little snacks. The little water park area she loved. Did not disappoint at all (Recommend ages: 1-8yrs)
Mrs. S — Google review
We did not use the resort but obtained a 2-Day Ticket to both LEGOLAND and Peppa Pig Theme Parks. This place is very small and intimate—for family trips. There wasn’t a lot do, but there was enough for young kids to do. The splash pad was our favorite attraction! It was sooooo kid friendly!!! I was kind of skeptical at first (about the waterslides), but the kids were perfectly fine. They truly enjoy themselves!! I love that most of the rides and areas had air conditioning and fans. This was a very fun and enjoyable experience for my family and I.

American restaurant
If you're looking for a laid-back dining experience after an exciting day at Legoland Florida, Ruby Tuesday is the perfect spot to unwind. This casual chain offers a delightful array of American cuisine, including their newly introduced Impossible Indulgent Burger, which features a savory plant-based patty nestled in a toasted brioche bun with fresh toppings. The restaurant boasts a diverse menu that caters to various tastes and budgets, making it an ideal choice for families or groups.
Visited Ruby Tuesday yesterday with a group of ten for an early dinner. As usual, I enjoyed the food—Ruby Tuesday’s rarely disappoints. I almost always opt for the salad bar, and this time was no different. It was fresh and flavorful, though I would have liked to see more fresh fruit options available. Still, everything I tried was delicious. I paired it with the potato soup, which was quite good. There was a bit of a hiccup when we first arrived. The staff initially seated nine of us at a table meant for eight, and when a tenth guest unexpectedly joined, things got tight—two people were awkwardly sitting on corners. It took a little time and effort, but we were eventually able to add another table and settle in comfortably. The staff wasn’t especially quick to adapt, but we got there in the end. Several people in our group ordered appetizers, including the fried mushrooms, which I sampled and found very tasty. A couple of folks made a meal of their appetizers and were satisfied with their choices. Others ordered burgers, which got good reviews, and two people had fish, which they both said was excellent. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed, and the staff was friendly throughout. That said, service was a bit slow—possibly due to the size of our party. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and enjoyed our visit.

Laid back, family friendly atmosphere. Jordan provided polite and timely service. The meal was paced well. The Wild Berry Sweet Tea is my favorite yummy cooling refreshment. The scallops and shrimp with rice and corn were delicious! Newly renovated location at the entrance to Legoland.

My daughter and grandson was in town and we wanted to enjoy a meal fast and just relax. We got seated and waited 15 min and not one server came buy to say hi or I will be right with you nothing. I can understand if they were buzy but there wasn't alot of people so we decided to wait 5 more min and still nothing so I said let's get out of hear. On our way out a young lady came over to our area and didn't say anything not anything and just watched us leave we won't return for sure.
Janet B — Google review
Stay away from their sliders. The meat was paper thin and this is all the cheese they put on it. Taste was very dry and bland. Bad thing is the waiters said she was going to talk to the manager when she took this back and nothing was done got the bill was still charged extra for them. I originally asked for no lettuce and just onions and obviously they had issues getting the order correct. Since the manager wasn’t concerned at all. Figured I would share it as a review. Love how their menu photo shows nice plump burgers with cheese and this is what I got.

Love the veggie burger, salad bar, onion rings and more. The server was super nice! The atmosphere was peaceful.

Since the restaurant redesigned, everything has been changed, and going downhill! First, the food portion was very little, they don’t look like as big as the picture menu shows. And the steak feels like the premade food warm up in the microwave. It was so good to have the ribeye steak before, it was so thick and tender. But now is dry, thin, cold. Doesn’t taste good! Me and my daughter after meal both feel the stomach not feeling well. Second, the waiting time was so long! It takes 30 more minutes or longer. Last, the price doesn’t worth it, we spend almost 100 dollars for 4 people, but doesn’t make us happy, me and my husband after meal still hungry. But at the old times we been here many times, it feels satisfied and full. Now we totally feel different. And we don’t like the new design at all. We like the old one, whether the food quality, color, lighting, service. I think we will not coming back.
絔厭_小优 — Google review
Visited yesterday for an early dinner. I wound up very disappointed and will not be back. I ordered a 6 oz ribeye, baked potato and roasted corn (extra). I understood why the server did not ask me how I wanted it cooked when it came to the table; it was the thinnest "ribeye" I have ever seen. I think it was probably a skirt steak or a flat iron steak instead. But there was no way it could have been medium rare unless they decided to just scare it with a match. I added 5 grilled shrimp and they were good. Ruby Tuesday had "run out" of baked potatoes and it would be 45 minutes before one was ready. (This was around 4 pm.) So I got mashed which was fine, just not what I wanted with the steak I thought I was getting. And the "roasted" corn, I think they put it in the oven a while and cooked it until the kernals were dried out and chewy, but somehow they managed to not have any roasted color or flavor. I got a Tito's lemonade which was tasty but had to have a very small amount of liquor in it as I am a lightweight and still had no reaction at all to it. Overall very disappointing and I see why many of them have closed.

Thanks Tonya for having such amazing cooks to always deliver the best meal. UPDATE: So since the new remodel of Ruby Tuesday I was a little scared to go get my Salmon due to the cook not being there so. Took Jeremy for a a test on his skills well he didn’t disappoint 🥰

First time here , found this place on google! Very cute setting with nice soothing instrumentals of some classic songs. Food was very fresh & delicious! I had the fried pork dumplings & the pho with rare beef & well done brisket. Brisket was super tender & the chili oil was the perfect spice! Food is amazing. The bad reviews are completely wrong. Authentic Vietnamese food. Great flavors and decent pricing. We are so happy to have found this place and glad we decided to give it a try. Will be coming back! We ordered the combination pho and lemongrass chicken dish they were delicious. Restaurant is busy during dinner time so expect a small wait. Service is a bit disorganized but expected and worth it as the food is clearly good. Wait staff is professional and friendly otherwise. Good atmosphere. Highly recommended!

I love this place!!! It’s hard to find somewhere that puts love into the making of their food, and this place does just that. The pho here is hands down one of my favorites and the staff there goes above and beyond!

Was in the mood for some Asian cuisine, I came to this restaurant, ordered myself some green tea, summer rolls and beef with bok choy. The summer rolls were ok , the peanut sauce it comes with was not a fan, (crazy how different it is here then in Vietnam). The sauce is brown here and orange over there. The beef with bok, flavors were ok. Nothing that would stand out.

I really like this place. We have only been a couple of times, but both times the food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. There are screens the play a slide show of the different meals on the menu and they all look amazing. I cannot wait to try eag one. If you like Vietnamese and other Asian food, I would strongly recommend this place.

We decided to try it due to good reviews but left very disappointed. I ordered rice and pork and they were so cheap on rice and veggies. The rice was not fresh and was too dry. I had to order an extra bowl of rice for $3. The pork seasoning was decent. Husband had noodles and it was edible but not great. Overall, would not be back.

If I can give this restaurant NO STARS I would. I ordered food from this restaurant for pick up. When I opened my food there was a small hair in it. I called the restaurant to see if I can have my food replaced. The owner blamed me for placing the hair in it and said he doesn’t make mistakes because he’s perfect and said “ he knew what I was doing” and hung up on me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND that anyone eat here. Supporting a man like this! He needs to learn customer service skills. Mind you, I talked to him very respectfully and jolly despite me being hungry and not being able to eat the food I purchased. I will NEVER go eat there again.

We travel from Sebring to eat here. The quality, freshness, taste, everything about this restaurant is perfect. The owner is so kind, very attentive, we love it! We want to say thank you as well, you have customers for as long as your doors stay open!!

Mediterranean restaurant
Mediterranean Fresh Grill is a pleasant surprise located in a strip mall, offering a sit-down dining experience with a relaxed atmosphere. Despite its small size, the restaurant provides immediate seating and excellent service. The hummus and Mediterranean salad are highly recommended for their exceptional taste. While the food receives high praise, some find the atmosphere to be slightly off-putting due to the abundance of takeout orders and an attempt at a modern high-end look that doesn't quite hit the mark.
In town for work and stopped here for dinner. Great tasty food. Wish I could’ve taken a photo of the rice and the actual skewers for the mixed platter, it came with beef, shrimp and chicken. Enough for me to share with my toddler. The service was quick and the atmosphere was friendly.

Absolutely amazing feast of fantastic food! We enjoyed the Labanese Grouper and Lamb Shank. Words cannot describe how incredible these dishes were stunning! Fresh Flavorful First Class! The salads were wonderful. The rice was the best I have ever had in my life! We loved the baklava too 🦋 This is the hot spot of restaurants in Florida. Such an honor to have incredible staff Pierce and Angie and the CHEF that created these dishes that not only looked like masterpieces of art, they truly satisfied our appetites! We were astounded by the perfection and ambience. 💙Sensational 💙

COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF!!! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ My Cousin and I found a hidden gem by stumbling upon this beautiful establishment of AUTHENTIC Mediterranean cuisine and we couldn’t have been more pleased. The food was fresh and delightfully delicious. I mean it was a symphony of flavours in our mouth. On top of that, the presentations was like 5 star establishment. We were so amazed with with our 6 dishes that were brought out and even more amazed with delicious everything was… With impeccable customer service, our host, Pearson was beyond exceptional. Next time, we’re coming with our entire family. Thank you all for the great hospitality at Mediterranean Fresh Grill ❤️

Baby eggplant appetizer was truly appetizing. The lamb gyro was okay, not exceptional. Kids loved the kid menus and mint lemonade. The edible orchid added beauty to the plate arrangements. Very pleasant experience.

Everything was absolutely amazing! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality in every bite. From the perfectly grilled meats to the creamy hummus and vibrant salads. The owner went above and beyond to accommodate our special requests, which we truly appreciated. Excellent service, generous portions, and authentic Mediterranean flavors. We’ll definitely be ordering again!

Stopped here for dinner on a Saturday night. We were in town at Legoland. What delight it has been to dine here. All the seasoning is on point, reminds of what I tasted and grew up to know as Lebanese food. Plating and presentation was spot on. Portions are hearty. Meat cooked to perfection. Small business running on finese. The server took well care of us. I am surprised that food of this quality was this affordable.

My husband and I recently made the drive from Lakeland to Winter Haven to try The Mediterranean Grill, and let me tell you—it was absolutely worth every mile! If you’re craving authentic and delightful Lebanese cuisine, this spot is a must-visit. It was truly a pleasant experience from start to finish, thanks to the incredible food and the warmest hospitality. The evening started on a perfect note when the chef sent out a complimentary plate of garlic flatbread—a delicious welcome that instantly set the tone. For appetizers, the flash-fried cauliflower was phenomenal. It was perfectly cooked, crispy, and savory with a yummy drizzle —easily one of the best ways to start a meal. But the real star of the show was the red lentil soup. It was so rich and flavorful that both my husband and I had to order a bowl, and I even got a container to go for lunch tomorrow. We also enjoyed their salads. I had the crisp house salad, and my husband chose the vibrant Mediterranean salad. The star component of both? That dressing. It was exceptionally good—fresh, tangy, and unforgettable. Beyond the food, the service truly shined. Our waitress was fantastic, and it was so nice when Cindy, the chef’s wife, stopped by our table to chat. She even brought me my to-go soup and shared some of her personal favorite dishes, making us feel completely at home. The combination of authentic, delicious food and genuinely warm hospitality ensures that we will definitely be back to The Mediterranean Grill soon!

We came here with a party of at least 20 as part wedding celebration and they were READY for us, let me tell you... They were organized and unusually attentive. All kinds of well-dressed and kind men eager to please. The quality of the food did not suffer in the least even though there were so many of us at once. I almost wish we had foregone the main dishes because appetizers were so plentiful, rich, fun in texture and vibrant in flavor. The humus and baba ganoush where of true Mediterranean quality, the pita is so thin you can keep eating it with without realizing that it's gone. Oh! I wish I knew all the names of the things that kept coming and coming. I will say, if you love stuffrd grape leaves you may need to ask for extra in the Mediterranean platter. I don't need me so I can't speak to other meat dishes were but everything seemed to disappear off everyone's plates. The place is extremely clean, and modern with huge photos the owners took of various Mediterranean vistas and metropolitan hotspots taken in their travels. We had traditional Mediterranean sweets and a less traditional cheesecake which was so dense and delicious that I would come back just for that. They are not shy on the garlic so get ready for your flavor bomb!

Always easy tk deal.with and friendly staff. The clearance section has become a joke. Normally 49.99 on clearance for 45.99...... come on..... does Walmart really need to pocket pennies,? But on another topic. Other states and smaller chain stores donate goods or expired stuff to help to community and give back... these guys make sure to throw away and destroy anything. Why? Cause they don't want you having even 1 free dollar from there sales, even if it helps people. Not a good way to consciously shop for a better future. But what choice done have in small towns?

Very nice very large store was crowded of course cuz it was a holiday but really nice place I like Walmart so of course I bought stuff I didn't need. Haha Didn't really speak to too many people who worked there other than the cashiers one lady was really nice and she told us where to go she was a cashier waiting for customers are cashier who cashed us out her name was Diane little tiny redhead with beautiful blue eyes very friendly very sweet and very helpful asked us if we found everything we wanted and even suggested other things we could buy to go with what we had so of course we had to go back in and buy more stuff haha very pleasant people.

It's Walmart. As Walmarts go this one is clean and usually well stocked. There is ample parking, though the drivers of Central Florida can make it dangerous, be practiced at Frogger. It can be difficult to find a helpful employee, but when you do they're very helpful.

I was shocked when I walked in this store it was my first time in that county I've been there before. So clean and friendly employees so much fresh food and cooked food as soon as you walked in the door. Thanks everyone you were all so sweet.

A few weeks ago, my friend was visiting from Arkansas. Her tire had a leak in it. We went there to the automotive shop, and were told by the woman that we had to make an appointment. My friend made an appointment, she told them that he phone number had changed. The woman said that she would change when she came in for the appointment. We were there at the appointed time, and was told that we DID NOT have an appointment, and there was nothing they could do about the screw up. We went to Tire Kingdom in Lake Wales. They took care of the problem without an appointment. They were very familiar with this Walmart shop's customer service, or lack of should I say. If you want real customer service, try Tire Kingdom, 4561 Macey Ln, Lake Wales, FL. They are friendly and dependable.

This is your typical Walmart. Good prices on a huge selection of your everyday needs. I especially like the signage on Organic items. The greeters were fantastic and we felt bad about those employees that might of lost their jobs due to the increase of self checkout lines. There’s lots of free parking and it’s easy to see from the main road.
Trl1971 — Google review
This was just today the Walmart workers do not care if they are in the ilse with there blue pick carts. They were on the phone and talking and laughing just going about there business. I am doing a update on this store from a year ago and things still are bad. Empty produce boxes in the isles so people can fall and then workers with there picking carts that are in your way. This store goes from bad to worse they wanted all these self checkouts and not one of them is working. Terrible the li es on a Sunday morning were really long and only 5 check outs open. I know publix are a little more money but they will get my business from now on. If Sam Walton was alive he wouldn't stand for the way his stores are being run.

We went to the Walmart to pick up groceries that they had picked for us. It's truly a joy to sit in the living room do you make my grocery list up somebody picks it and I just go pick it up. So glad I finally discovered the Walmart Shopper experience. The website is easy. You are in charge of picking substitutes if need be or if you even want substitutes. So if they're out of an item you don't get an item you don't want. And if they do have to substitute something they let you know and plenty of time so you can okay it or cancel it. Can you pull up and they come out with all your goodies. The shopping does not stop with groceries is anything Walmart sells they will shop for you and get. Like I need it pans and some cleaning supplies and they came with the order. What a nice invention that is.

Several great stores and shops. Pedestrians need to be very careful around these shops and parking lots. Drivers be aware and careful in this area as well because too many other drivers aren't really yielding to pedestrians so much as looking at their phones while at the wheel of their moving cars and/or just not interested in driving kindness and following traffic rules in general.

Incredibowl Entertainment in Winter Haven is a vibrant bowling destination that promises an exciting experience for families and friends alike. This plush venue features not only traditional bowling but also cosmic bowling with dazzling effects, making every game feel special. Alongside the lanes, guests can enjoy a variety of arcade games and indulge in classic American cuisine right from their personal lanes, thanks to convenient ordering options.
I visited this place with my son, and we had such a great time at the arcade! There’s a nice variety of games, and we both had a blast. A few of the games were unfortunately out of order, which was disappointing, and I noticed there wasn’t much staff around to assist. However, overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and spent a good amount of time playing. I didn’t get a chance to check out the bowling alley, but the arcade alone made the visit worth it. We’ll definitely be back!

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share the incredible experience my team and I had at Incredibowl for our holiday party on December 18, 2024. As a group from Poinciana Hospital, we hold this event every year, and this year was truly special thanks to the outstanding service and atmosphere at Incredibowl. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place is run by a dedicated, passionate team. The facility was spotlessly clean, and the pricing was reasonable for the experience we received. But what really stood out to me was the remarkable staff, whose warmth and professionalism made our evening unforgettable. A special thank you goes to Dawn, our bartender. Not only is she an expert mixologist, but her genuine kindness and attentiveness made all the difference. She went above and beyond when my husband asked her to craft a special drink for me – she truly nailed it, and it was hands down the best drink I’ve ever had. Dawn's energy and personality were a perfect fit for the vibe of the night, and it's clear she loves what she does. Terrance, the young gentleman at the front, was an absolute gem. With a party of over 30 people, we were a lot to manage, but Terrance handled us with such grace, patience, and enthusiasm. His attention to detail and his genuine care for our experience was remarkable. I honestly wish there were more customer service professionals like him in the world – he made us feel welcomed and valued from start to finish. I also want to recognize the incredible team in the cafe. Despite our large group, they managed to serve 25+ orders in under an hour, all while maintaining a friendly and courteous demeanor. It’s not easy to handle such a large order in a short period of time, but they did it effortlessly. Lastly, I have to give a huge shoutout to Carson, who was incredibly patient and understanding as he managed our 5 bowling lanes. With 10+ children running around and bowling balls flying everywhere, Carson handled it all with a smile, quickly retrieving the balls and making sure everything was running smoothly. His calm and approachable demeanor was greatly appreciated. Thank you, Incredibowl, for making our holiday party such a memorable and enjoyable experience. Your attention to detail, exceptional staff, and overall atmosphere created the perfect setting for a fantastic night. I’ll definitely be back, and I can’t recommend this place enough!
Kayline E — Google review
The bowling alley is clean and looks great been twice the down fall is the staff. They down right don’t care. There are non-responsive attitude and melancholy personalities really kill the atmosphere. Any questions you have they’re very under enthusiastic about answering. If you have any issues during your games. They seem to be very put out by having to troubleshoot or solve them so what should be a fun experience Is quickly diminished. It’s very obvious that the owners of the business has put a lot of money into the building in the bowling alley in the arcade. It’s such a shame that employees will probably be the reason for no new return returning customers. This is my second visit here probably be my last or I will not be back for a long time.
Dalton B — Google review
Awesome place to take your family. The place is huge and clean. The food is great for a bowling alley and the arcade is huge. The only reason I did not give it five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ is because everything is very expensive. My grandson and I bowled two games and it cost 51 dollars and I purchased 100 dollars on a game card for the arcade and most of the games cost between 1$-2$ so you will burn through a 100 dollars pretty quickly. I would still recommend this place for your family.
Michael K — Google review
Great place! Gets pretty busy on a Saturday night. The Kids had a great time. Prices on the bowling side weren't too bad, the arcade will definitely take you for a whole paycheck if you have multiple kids 🤣 There are a lot of fun games in the arcade. All in all, it was a fun family experience, we'll be back!

Park
Lake Hartridge Nature Park is a centrally located park with a 3-mile paved walking path around the lake, offering beautiful views of Florida Southern College, First Presbyterian Church, and the Lakeland Country Club. The park features a covered playground area with modern equipment for kids, multiple benches along the quarter-mile trail, covered picnic tables, and clean restrooms next to ample parking.
The was a nice park! Beautiful view of the nearby lake. I went a week and a half after hurricane Ian went through the area. I'm not sure how badly if at all it was affected by the storm, but it was clean aside from the basin which had a few pieces of trash floating. The playground area is covered and modern with a climbing wall and long slides for the kids. Multiple benches are lining the quarter mile trail. Covered picnic tables and a clean restroom were next to the ample parking area. There are handicapped spaces and ramps as well. There are three areas with fishing piers and a boat ramp open even though the storm floods haven't completely receded. There is also parking for trailers. I can't wait to try fishing there! Dogs are allowed on their leash.

Cute little park and boat ramp. Nice we playground, well llandscaped. A lot trash in the water though. Other than that it was pretty.
Stephanie W — Google review
This may have been a nice park once, but it's been neglected and in seriously bad shape. The boat docks are damaged and closed. There's trash accumulating everywhere, wooden structures are discolored, and signage missing. I saw a homeless person sleeping on a picnic table. You can still go for a walk and see plenty of wildlife, though. A shame that it's so run down. Update: Made another visit and saw the docks have been repaired, and are being used as intended. There's still more work and cleaning to be done, but it's a positive step.

Well kept and clean. Very short, but paved walking trail. Plenty of parking for cars and boat trailers. Boat ramp looked to be in good shape.

This is a beautiful park by the lake, with ponds, flowers, nice trails, a boat ramp, docks, picnic tables, playground, art, animal tracks, and more. Of course, it's Florida, so watch out for gators. They still keep it up pretty nicely, though it's not as nice as a few years ago. Dairy Queen is across the road or Checkers is down the street if you forgot to bring food. Lots of squirrels and birds hang out here, too. It's dog-friendly, so bring the pooch, the kids, and the camera for a great weekend outing or a birthday party.
Patricia M — Google review
It's a beautiful park. Be careful around the bathroom area's. There's an Active "Glory Hole" in the men's restroom. I believe winterhaven police need to be informed. Many guys going in and out the restrooms.

Excellent park for walking and viewing nature. We were there mid morning. There are many trees lining a walkway with a little wooden bridge. Also some placards (some damaged) describing wildlife. We noted many squirrels and differnt species of wading birds. There is a childrens slide and several picnic tables in an open pavillion sheltered area as well as restrooms.

Let me tell you something this place right here is it I have 5 other people with me when we eat 4 are kids and trying something new is difficult with 4 kids but this is the place right in between Lego land and the Legoland Beach resort so perfect location if you have littles but don't want to eat an expensive meal at the park nice seating super clean bathrooms and when I say the food was amazing I mean I have eaten up and down the east cost from fresh main lobster and Boston clam chowder all the way down to the FL keys and this place was it we had 6 people eating at 8pm on a Friday night and had comfortable booth seats the food came out so fast and if you are afraid of ur kids not wanting it they have chicken nuggets and Fry's while we hade steak hibachi 1 had chicken hibachi and I had steak and shrimp hibachi we also had a order of cucumber rolls and avocado rolls and man they were fresh we also got dumplings and 2 orders of the chicken nuggets and Fry's . Now the staff was over the top when I tell you the kindness and family friendly vibe we received with the 2 wonderful women working at the front counter Mini & Samira I have never seen 2 people multitask and get it so perfectly right at the same time I could not believe the kindness of these people and the portion sizes reminded me of being back home in South Carolina were as I'm 6ft 4 and 290lbs and could not finish all my food. If we go out to eat as a family of 6 I don't expect to pay less than a 125$ but with all are food and drinks it was about 90$ I like my food to have flavor and seasonings and this did not disappoint I only wish I had ordered more shrimp because it was amazing absolutely best shrimp I have ever had. Not to the wise they do cook there stake medium well so if you like it done differently make sure you ask at the time of ordering. My only regret is I wish this place was closer to my house great job who ever is running this place because you are crushing it keep doing what ever t is ur doing sorry I don't get picks of the food from the first bit we couldn't put are forks and chopsticks down it was good thank you.

Ordered take out, I wanted two party trays one steak and one chicken. They lady on the phone didn't understand me. Even tried to explain it because she rang up something different before hand. Kinda frustrating, salad was okay at best. Chicken and steak where good. Really just disappointed with the communication break down. Everything in total cost $70. Fed 6ish people. Usually get two trays and it will feed 11 no problem.

1st time experience at this restaurant. Pleasant surprise. Nice atmosphere, nice music playing at a level you can still hold a conversation with someone across the table from. Ordered the hibachi chicken with shrimp. Came with a small salad with ginger sauce. Everything tasted great. They also have Sushi and other Japanese style meals.
Luis V — Google review
This place looks like a tiny fast food restaurant, but I've never had such good hibachi shrimp other than Benihana's. I seen many people ordering takeout, but you really owe it to yourself to enjoy the food while it's piping hot. It was really seasoned well with a really nice mix of vegetables and the fried rice was cooked just right. The food was flavorful spicy, not hot spicy. They served it on tasteful plasticware not the disposable stuff. So you do have to empty your food into the trash bin and save their plate for reuse. I'm glad they're not using disposable or styro. This was my first time there but it won't be my last.

Pizza restaurant
Cicis is a pizza restaurant with a varied buffet of specialty pizzas, simple pasta dishes, and salads. The food can be cheaply priced, and the arcade located in the back is a nice touch. Some frozen pizza's have better quality than the food itself. The cinnamon rolls are the best thing here.
I love this place I asked fo any pizza Courtney made without a problem they treated us like family the manager taylor is would recommend everyone to try it out the staff is phenomenal
Christopher R — Google review
Came in on a Monday evening and the pizzas, about 8 different types, were lined up and ready for consumption. They also had 3 different desserts awaiting us. They also had some soup (chicken noodle I believe) and some type of pasta dish (did not sample either of those). The pizza was actually pretty good, which I was kind of shocked to be honest. If you like red pepper flakes they are located behind the silverware. If you wanted a salad you had to order that at the end of the counter and select your fixings. The salad was quite fresh and on the larger side. We would definitely return, albeit with the grandkids like this time. The staff working here were all friendly. We did not order anything special, as what they offered was good enough. Oh, and Mondays are senior day at $8 for food and a drink.

Tonight our family decided to have a late meal with the kiddos within the last hour. The staff & (I believe) manager Taylor were very welcoming & treated us with so much kindness! They even made more pizzas for the ones that ran out & they were DELICIOUS!!! We haven’t been here in years but now we will definitely be back more often!! Thank yall for everything :)

Omg! Taylor went above and beyond! My family and I came in just 30 minutes before closing, and she still made us feel completely welcome. She didn’t rush us at all—in fact, she even made fresh pizza for us upon request. Taylor was so sweet and pleasant the entire time. Talk about top-tier customer service—she was that and so much more. Kudos to Taylor for turning a late visit into such a great experience!

Fast food restaurant
Burger King is a well-known fast-food chain that specializes in grilled burgers, fries and shakes. The restaurant is frequented by many people for its affordable food and quick service.
I love going to Burger King. This is the only one left in winter haven fl. There used to be one closer to me but they had .... There are no words how disgusting their standards were. Cockroaches ON THE DROP OFF COUNTER! But that one was obviously shut down. My only complaint is this particular location. It's basically at the intersection of cypress gardens Rd and 17. I have no other issues.
Sam — Google review
"Welcome to the Most Unmotivated Burger King I’ve Ever Seen" If you're looking for quick service, avoid this Burger King at night. I’ve never encountered such slow and careless service in all my life. Let me break down the reasons why I can’t recommend this place: 1. Extremely Slow Service at Night No matter how empty it is, the speed of service is ridiculously slow. I usually visit around 10 p.m., and even when I’m the only car in the drive-thru, it takes 20 minutes to get my order. Once, with only two cars ahead of me, it took the same amount of time—20 minutes—for two simple meals. These were not complex orders, just standard menu items. 2. Lights Off, No Sense of Care Tonight, I arrived at 10:30 p.m. to find the restaurant signs in darkness. Which either shows pure laziness or a complete lack of attention to detail. It makes me wonder if anyone is supervising this location. It seems like whoever manages this place has no passion or pride in keeping it running smoothly. 3. Questionable Management or Ownership The problem may not even lie with the night staff. Sometimes, it’s the owner’s lack of investment and care that trickles down to the employees. It's sad to see someone own a business but fail to show any love for it, resulting in a restaurant that treats customers like they don’t matter. 4. Day vs. Night: A Stark Contrast The most confusing part is that during the day, none of these problems exist. Even with a crowded drive-thru or lobby, the service is fast, and orders are ready within 10 minutes, max. But come nighttime, it feels like the staff is purposely slowing down. It’s absurd that only two customers can be served every 20 minutes. 5. You’re Losing Money This message is for the owner and management. If you’re paying your staff on time, providing the best equipment, and still getting these results, then the problem lies in supervision. If that’s the case, it’s time to make a change. The fact that they didn’t even turn on the lights suggests they’re trying to avoid drawing attention, almost as if they don’t want more customers. That’s money out of your pocket. And if you’re the kind of owner who just hires a supervisor and turns a blind eye, waiting for negative reviews to force you into making a change, then unfortunately, you’re the problem. You’re a poor leader, and you need to do better.
Lucas E — Google review
Alicia was our cashier for the day and boy she didn’t look presentable nor did she seemed to have any desire to be there. She took our order and forgot the kid Apple juice. The rest of the crew seemed to be in their own world, but over all everyone was doing something productive so that’s good. The place was clean and not too busy.
Mel R — Google review
Waste of time and money will not go back to a Burger King because of this place workers need to be trained on how to cook food workers, cook food and let it sit until somebody orders it. It is not fresh. It comes to you lukewarm not hot. even if you ask for fresh would not recommend eating here.
Joel H — Google review
Yesterday I was taking my two boys to get some ice cream from Burger King so I pulled up at the drive-through and I asked the employer do they have vanilla or chocolate she yells out loud through the mic, only vanilla so I was like well you didn’t have to shut it out so I just drove off and I looked at her and she looked like yeah who does that? I don’t understand little black girl I don’t know if he was gay or he was a he or whatever but very rude. I left, but I was gonna go in there, but I just left
Shondra A — Google review
Worst service ever. I order online to pick up on the drive thru and they make me wait in the parking for 15 minutes and when I went inside the food was there waiting for a long time and the employee tell me that the manger and her don't communicate so she didn't know what was going on. It's horrible going to a fast food and the manager has a horrible attitude and is very rude. I was very nice asking about my food and omg she was so upset that I did. It's very sad.
Marie D — Google review
One of the worst customer service fast food iv been. They tell you to pull over even when noone is behind you. It's like a habit for them. They took 15mins for 2 meals. Causing me to get out of my car in the drive thu to see what's going on. Only to find out they had forgotten to give me my food. Never again. Wanna know the worst part. I ordered online for pick up.

Restaurant
Arabellas is a renowned Italian and Mediterranean restaurant located in the heart of historic downtown Winter Haven. The elegant dining room with brick walls and draped windows sets the stage for a refined Italian culinary experience. Before indulging in traditional antipasti like bruschetta or calamari, guests can enjoy a drink at Ave Bar.
First time visiting Arabellas, and I can say that it was as I had always heard about it amazing! From decor & atmosphere, service. Salvatore(Sal) was a great host & waiter with answers to questions and recommendations. Our dishes were amazingly great tasting and they have the presentation as well. Pretty good list of wines even though we, stayed away only cause of the price 😁 Highly recommend, especially for a celebration event, or if you just want that special date night dinner. Also very surprised that this dining experience was not too $$ considering what you will spend at most places nowadays.

We had the most incredible anniversary dinner at Arabella’s. From start to finish, everything was perfect. The food was absolutely amazing and full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. The tableside service added such a special touch and made the evening feel even more personal and elegant. A heartfelt thank you to the owner, who went above and beyond to make our night special. They surprised us with fresh flowers for the table, which I got to take home, such a thoughtful and memorable gesture. The wine selection was excellent, and our waiter was not only incredibly kind but also spot-on with his recommendations. And we can’t forget the piano man, I feel bad calling him that because he was so much more. Talented, funny, and such a vibrant part of the atmosphere. He truly added magic to the night. We’ll definitely be back. Arabella’s made our celebration one we’ll never forget. Thank you!

Me and my Wife had a small wedding and rented a room here and had dinner. Was very classy and they let us pretty much act how we wanted in our room. Piano player was great came in and played the accordian for us. Food was phenominal, we are from NJ,NY area and moved down here almost a year ago and by far best italian food in our area. Reservation was at 730p they sat us at 7p, brought out our appetizers, salad, dinner far apart and i love they didnt rush us we didnt leave until 10p. Shout out to Brooke for an easy experience setting this up she was super communicative and helpful during the whole experience. Shout out to Dom our bus boy he was very attentive and fun. Server was very professional, but i forget his name.

I took my mom to Arabella’s for a special dinner, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The food was phenomenal with rich flavors and beautiful presentation. The atmosphere was elegant and inviting, with live piano music adding the perfect touch. One of our favorite parts was filling out a little paper with our favorite songs for the pianist to play, such a thoughtful and personal touch! To top off the evening, we shared the table side Bananas Foster, and it was absolutely amazing. The service was warm, attentive, and made us feel truly cared for. My mom was overjoyed, and I couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate with her. Highly recommended!

Located in downtown winter haven, a feeling of Italy in your neighborhood! Food is very good, I got I little curious for the dinner menu as we went for lunch time in a week day. Service was literally Italian, Francesco our Italian server just made the atmosphere of the restaurant complete, his care with all the tables he was given was pristine. Parking was a little though but understandable, the music was right and the price very fair. I wish it would be open on Sundays so I could take the hole family! Its worth the visit

This is a classic restaurant that you can find in Boston or New York City, it is a jewel in Florida. Food was fabulous, service was first class, and the pianist was spectacular with a repertoire of music, current music, classic music, etc. I was very surprised to find this very nice restaurant. Plenty of parking available right across the street and even in a garage that offers free parking.

City park
Nestled in the heart of Winter Haven, South Lake Howard Nature Park offers a serene escape into nature with its picturesque lakefront setting. This charming park features well-maintained walking trails that meander through lush greenery, providing ample opportunities to spot local wildlife like playful squirrels. Visitors can enjoy peaceful strolls along boardwalks and fishing piers while taking in the tranquil views of the lake.
I really enjoyed this park. I walked the trails several times. Very peaceful. It was a nice cool day in March. Nice nature walk Bridges. Beautiful wild Lane. I got there real early at 7:30 a.m. plenty of parking right up time. I left at 10:30 a.m. parking was pretty full. So I need to get there early.

Yes it's a beautiful park to go to. But we need improvement on keeping some areas of it. Maintain and clean we can do better. Honestly I'm quite disappointed in the maintenance of this park. Hope we can see it resolved soon.

Mirta F — Google review
This gem is one of the best places to visit in Winter Haven. It's clean, maintained. It features a nicely paved path for walking, biking, and has a wooden bridge with various docks for some light fishing. There is always plenty of parking and has restrooms. For dog lovers, there are provided bags for cleanup near the restrooms. Birds of all kinds can be seen, as well as turtles and rabbits. Across the main road is another dock overlooking Lake Howard, where I have spotted a gator sunbathing, and various larger and smaller birds that prefer the larger lake section. I often take the family here to walk, run, scooter and play. The kids love to roll down the "big" hill. Standing from the bridge and docks provide beautiful relaxing scenery. For train lovers, there is an Amtrak track nearby and the kids always love to stop and watch it zoom past.

Went for a 6 mile run here and had a great experience. The trail is peaceful well maintained, and perfect for getting some miles in. Plenty of shade, nice scenery by the lake, and not too crowded. Definitely recommend for anyone that is looking to run, walk or just enjoy sometime outdoors

The park is absolutely beautiful! The only thing that deterred us from staying longer were the amount of shady people hanging out there. As you walk deeper into the beautiful walkways and docks you quickly get nervous for your safety. I don't recommend going alone or near dusk.

If you're on the lookout for a vibrant spot to unwind in Winter Haven, look no further than Apple Lounge. This lively restaurant is renowned for its exciting wing-eating competitions and mouthwatering half-pound burgers, alongside crispy fried pickles that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. Make it a family affair on Taco Tuesdays where you can enjoy a complimentary shot with every Margarita, or simply kick back with an ice-cold draft beer during those sweltering summer days without straining your wallet.
Could definitely use another pool table or two and the bar seems kind of small and oddly shaped however that does not change how delicious the food is and how great the drinks are. it's a nice bar where you can sit down and have a cold one and enjoy a cigarette. Good music always plays, and its Nothing to contemporary. I actually love this place. 10/10. get there early because parking is tight, and rightfully so, it's the best bar in winterhaven. Period. 💯

This place has been one of my favorite antique shops to go to. The people are kind and helpful and there is a wide variety of finds here. Clothes, furniture, and collectibles aplenty. Bonus points for the building which has been a church and a funeral home (complete with morgue) in the past.

Very good/unique items. Going thrifting there always end up with good finds. Keep in mind, however, that the prices are higher than in a thrift store. The Treasure House sells antiques/rare items and they are, usually, in good condition. (Picture of Mister Tobias, my last find there, to illustrate)

Rotary Park is a delightful gem nestled in the heart of Winter Haven, offering an inviting escape from the city's hustle and bustle. This well-maintained park spans 11 acres and features lush green spaces perfect for picnics or leisurely strolls under the shade of towering trees. Families will appreciate its vibrant atmosphere, complete with a newly renovated playground that caters to both younger and older children.
Nice shaded areas. Several picnic tables available. Playground and basketball court was in great shape. Overall enjoyable for the family!
Kelang — Google review
The actual playground structure is small, but it does have shade, restrooms (didn’t check for cleanliness), and a fun two person swing my toddler and 7yo enjoyed. They prefer a larger play structure with bigger slides so we won’t return to this park. A homeless person was also in the parking lot with large unleashed dogs.
Angela B — Google review
This is my grands favorite local playground. The park is well kept. Its fenced in and has bathrooms and fountains available which are always clean. The equipment is well kept. Lots of trees which provide natural shade and paved walkways. Picnic tables and pavilion are located near playground. There's a large volleyball court, aka sand play area adjacent to playground as well. Plenty of space for running and exploring.
Selah B — Google review
I love this park. It's clean and well maintained. There is plenty of shade from the trees which is offset of my favorite part of this park. The natural shade of trees not just some awning to help provide shade. It's been my favorite place to take my kids for 16 years.
Jodi M — Google review
Pleasantly surprised! One of the nicer parks I found in Winterhaven. My daughter and I frequently have to travel hear from Lakeland, so we are always looking for a good place to play! The playground equipment has been recently re-done to Kompani play wear, which is clean, durable, and so far weathering traffic well. Two primary structures- one for older children and one for younger. There’s a seesaw, set of swings and a couple of random small player things around the periphery of the main plate area that are remnants of the original playground. Playgrounds rubberized surface is still in excellent condition. This park has a ball field, beautiful white sand volleyball court with relatively new net, open spaces to run a play, two pic-nix pavilions and two standalone picnic tables. There is a standalone bathroom which we did not use so I cannot speak to its cleanliness or stock level. When you come to the park, you have to drive past it to find the parking lot, which is clean and well-kept. Definitely a park we will visit again!
Shannon P — Google review

Fast food restaurant
The world-famous McDonald's is a favourite among fast food fans for its burgers and fries. The food is always hot and yummy, and the atmosphere is delightful. The decor is contemporary and the music heavenly.
Austin was amazing! He was polite, had good customer service, and helped answer all of my questions. When I got to the window, he was speedy and graceful. I really appreciated this breath of fresh air, as typically when I come to this McDonald’s I am not treated as well as I was by him. Please give this employee a raise, he’s one of the good ones!!

Im sorry but for a place that is being advertised as one of the last McDonald's with the single arch as a MUST place to stop. It is dirty and nasty. Smells like pee and it full of homeless people. It was nothing but a revolving door of homeless people standing around and asking for money. And it took 15 minutes to get our food.
Brandy B — Google review
This use to be the best location in winter haven. It’s trash now. Fries are always either cold or burnt. Chicken nuggets are always stale. The burgers taste old doesn’t matter what time of day you go the food is gross if you take it to go. They don’t care anymore and it shows. The owners need to clean house and get some new folks that actually want to work in there. Always a waste of money.

Didn't want to help pushed you to so the kiosk , i told them i don't like going thru it. They said to bad. I stay at counter for about 15 min holding my order and payment. Lady came up and said I will take your order this time but you will have to do kiosk. I said mami come up here 1 to 3 times a day and 3 to 5 times a week. I don't use it, lady stated at the end of the conversation she text the mgr and theu told her take my order. In the end and 25 min later it was a 90 sec order if that. They wasted more time and headache for in the long run.

Typical McDonald's, but with an amazing original single arch sign. 1 of very few left standing.

McDonald's is great for consistent food quality. This McDonald's has a very busy drive tru. I find most of the time it's better/faster to use the app and have them bring my order to me.
STEVE — Google review
This McDonald's is the slowest McDonald's. I tell you, oh my God in winter, haven Florida, once you drive through. Have an idea how you're going to get out of the parking lot because it's very, very congested, trying to leave the. McDonald's and they're very, very slow because they're right on the corner. Of 27 and they have so many customers. I mean, it's a nice size McDonald's too. So yeah, they're just very, very slow, and it's just once you get your food, your food might be cold before you can even leave the driveway.
Cintavose V — Google review
Went through the drive through while traveling south from Orlando. Our chicken strips were raw! Would recommend skipping this McDonald’s if you’re in the area and looking for food.

Oyster bar restaurant
Old Man Frank's is a charming lakeside hangout that offers an oyster bar and seafood menu. Located across from Tanners, this rustic establishment boasts a deck where patrons can enjoy live music, dancing, and breathtaking views of the sunset. Established in 1954, Old Man Franks has been a beloved spot for both Winter Haven locals and seasonal residents for generations. They take pride in their claim of having the best sunset in town, inviting visitors to experience it themselves.
Went on a Saturday night, parking can be tricky to find, but it's wasn't too bad. Sat outside, they had live music, ordered peel and eat shrimp ... had lots of spices so good flavor! The waitress informed us food could take up to 45 minutes which was nice getting the heads up.
Nicole W — Google review
We liked the on the lake atmosphere and the option to have inside or outside dining. Menu was alittle lac luster but the tacos and tots we ordered were very good. Service from the ladies was spot on and we were well taken care of. For sure a place to check out!!
Ray M — Google review
Today is 6-28-24. A great location on the lake where you dock and eat and drink and sing country music. They also have live music. Lots of fun inside and outside. Tons of fans to keep you cool. Inside is nice AC with games and music. The baked herb crusted oysters ($25 per dozen) had bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, and butter, and garlic were wonderful. It came w a whole bag of crackers. Monday to Friday 11am to 7pm it’s $2.50 a draft (Bud Light, Avalanche, LandShark, Michelin Ultra). You can see alligators circling the area but don’t feed them bc they might get aggressive. It’s a great experience. The mahi mahi tacos were good too. The only thing is I didn’t care for the salad much bc there weren’t much greens or vegetables in there. But there was a lot of shredded cheese. All said this is a very down to earth place where you can just hang out and relax with food and drinks.

Delicious... friendly staff... gorgeous lake views and live music/karaoke. Parking can be limited on busy busy days!
Nicole J — Google review
Usually love this place. Great atmosphere and good music. We sat down a little after 6pm out by the lake where the music was. We just ordered some boiled peanuts and some corn dog bites and they were great. The young servers is where the problems arises. We was there almost 3 hours and I had only 4 beers, I turned down a beer only once when asked if I wanted another. Given 3 hours is a really long time to be asked only 4 times if I would like another beer. We sat at the table constantly with no drinks. I also received a bud light draft when I was clearly drinking miller light, but it wasn’t mentioned until I seen my tab. My better half would order shots, a glass of ice, and I would order a beer, only for them to bring back a glass of ice. So we waited because I know it could be hectic up at the bar and kitchen. Never came back with a beer and shots. Also on two different occasions I asked for a beer and was forgotten about because I made eye contact with the servers twice and you could see the look of forgetting about the beer on their face. I understand being busy but there was 3 servers to take care of the outside( which was respectfully somewhat full) and 4 customers inside. The girls seemed more into chit chatting than remembering that customers outside were clearly sitting there with no drinks. Get your head in the game Old Man Franks. Thank God for Sheldon on the guitar, he made it bearable.
Adam F — Google review
It's lbs of a cool place, but service is lacking. We sat outside on the patio and were never approached to take an order. I had to go inside to the bar to order drinks. The well drink we ordered, rum and coke, was WEAK. Order beer or shots and you should be fine. Booze was reasonably priced, except for the weak well drink. A 2 star indicates you 'disliked it' so I can't say that, so 3 stars it is. I heard the chicken wings are really good, but nobody came around to take our order. Maybe next time 🤷‍♂️, if there is one.
Tee V — Google review
Atmosphere was spot on. Live music, on the water, everyone having a great time. Great way to enjoy a Saturday. This was a first visit for us. The oysters were good, the wings were fatty and could have been held down a minute or so longer, not much flavor. Comparable to a chain pizza joint wing, not memorable. The Tater tots same thing, not crispy at all. The garlic must be a liquid which saturated the tots and made them not edible. Online it said they had snow crab but the menu in the restaurant they didn't have them. Staff was absent, never came back to check in and get refills. Had to flag someone down for a refill. By that time food was cold. Would like to give them a second chance. We will see.
Brandy B — Google review
This is a great spot for rustic, waterfront dining. The inside is a somewhat dark bar, but the open air patio and dock offer excellent waterfront options. It is the perfect place to enjoy the sunset, overlooking the lake. We had oysters on the half shell, wings, and mahi tacos. Everything was very good. The service was pretty slow, but that gave us more time to enjoy the lake and sunset.

Restaurant
Nutwood is a charming and relaxed restaurant in Winter Haven, known for its New American cuisine with a touch of international influence. The establishment is led by the highly acclaimed chef and owner Steven Rojas, who brings over 20 years of culinary expertise to the table. The menu at Nutwood offers an array of delectable options for lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch, featuring dishes like chicken and waffles, pork belly wraps, steak, and a catch of the day.
I’ve been to Nutwood three times and each time has been impeccable! The atmosphere is absolutely warm and welcoming. Definitely perfect spot in winter haven for upscale date night! The food is immaculate, and the service is great and friendly. I always love asking for the chef specials, Worth every penny! We will continue visiting! Can’t say enough good things.

Cozy, clean, place. Attentive service and the food is freshly prepared with local ingredients! Modern twists on old favorites. Mother’s Day brunch was phenomenal! Had the smoked salmon with dill hummus on a pita and the blueberry pancakes. The mango Bellini was five stars by itself. Casual to upscale vibe but not pretentious. Looking forward to going back!

The best way I can describe my experience with Nutwood is this beeing a place which can one day, by some crazy chance, be visited by one of those wandering Michelin Guide inspectors and actually receive an unexpected Michelin star. Everything about them feels unique, from the way the house is designed to the dishes they serve. The food is outstanding. The service is kind and knowledgeable. The menu is totally different from anything you see around in such a way that you can feel there's a culinary artist behind it. My husband and I have been really impressed with them! We would definitely go back and recommend this place to anyone looking for unique, flavorful, high standard food.

Do yourself a favor and skip the franchise restaurant and stop by this hidden gem. Food is unique and not like anything else we have had. Atmosphere and music were perfect! A must stop in Winter Haven!!!

Hidden gem in Winter Haven. Great food and service in a cozy atmosphere. Emile was fantastic and had great recommendations!
Jon C — Google review
I went here with my boyfriend and it was our first date in Winter Haven. We wanted some place that feel cozy and original. And my boyfriend recommended this place. It was so romantic and super cozy. The entrance has hanging lights which gives you a warm welcome feeling. Inside, they have tables already set and it feel so romantic. Their menu changes every week/day because it’s super fresh. The server was wonderful and recommended us a few options. I would recommend bringing family and friends here. Update: Thursday, December 22, 2022 It’s been a very long time since we came back here since we moved to Apollo Beach. But this place is so special to me. My boyfriend and I came here for our first date. The food here is so fresh and their menu always changes so you never get bored. We came by today since we are in town and they welcome us with open arms (we arrived 30 minutes before closing). Mandy is such an amazing waitress. She is super friendly and welcoming! Tonight’s dinner is super delicious and flavorful, as always. My boyfriend and I love coming here because it feels like home. The environment is very romantic, quiet, and relaxing. 100% recommend coming here for a night out, date night, holiday, family dinner, etc. Update: October 19, 2023 This place is special to my boyfriend and I. Everytime we go anywhere near here, we always go out of our way to come here. The food, the atmosphere, the service is outta this world. They change their menu every time we come and each flavor blend in so well with the food. We enjoy the feeling of home and the welcoming feeling of everyone. This is such a hidden gem and they should get more recognition.

"Tacos My Friend" is a popular taco spot known for its authentic and delicious tacos. The succulent carne asada tacos are a favorite, served with onion, cilantro, lime, and salsa verde. They offer a variety of meat options like pollo, pastor, chorizo, lengua, tripas, and cabeza. In Winter Haven, there are over 63 unique taco trucks and carts available for hire through Roaming Hunger to cater events with spicy salsa and flavorful tacos.
I had the Pastor Burrito great flavor and was awesome my wife ordered the Pollo Chimichanga's and it didn't have quite the flavor as mine did. Both were excellent and personal preference I would recommend the Pastor. I will be back.

The quantity of their food is getting smaller, but their prices have gone up. I use to like ordering from here because of their prices and flavor. Although, their Tortas have always been on the smaller side. It still wasn’t bad for $5 before. I went a couple days ago for lunch and now they’re $8! this? the smallest Tortas I’ve ever seen. Raising your price 60% of the original price is too much for something this small. I don’t mind paying $8-$12 for a Torta other places because they’re 2x the size of what Tacos my friend serves. Their tortillas are getting smart and more oval shape to skimp out on the masa. Do better - I won’t be back. The vegetables weren’t fresh they tasted old and their green salsa was way watered down.
Diana F — Google review
Food was subpar for me. I get birria tacos from a lot of different places and this place does not even compare. Totally flavorless including the bean and rice, very bland food. Also, I don’t see the need in doubling the tortillas .My husband raves about this place but I was not impressed. Maybe it was an off day.

First time ever trying and honestly, as soon as I put it in my car it smelled so good I couldn’t wait to eat it. At first I was like why was this $25 but then I was like OHHH THIS IS SO GOOD not cheap Mexican but like Legit and tasty! Highly recommend

It's the best food truck I have ever had. This place serves up real authentic alimento . We are from North Carolina but we lived in the area for about 5 months when I was doing some work in the area and this place was a mainstay 4 years ago. Fast forward 4 years and we went an hour out of our way traveling to our vacation spot just to come here. It's THAT good. I highly recommend the gorditas as this is one of the few places I've found that serves them up authentic. Well worth the trip.

Nature & Parks
Nestled along the picturesque Indian River, Chain of Lakes Park is a vibrant hub for outdoor enthusiasts and families alike. Spanning over 92 acres, this expansive park boasts an impressive array of amenities including five softball diamonds, two soccer fields, and three miles of scenic trails perfect for biking or running. As you explore the winding paths that meander through lush landscapes and tranquil waterways, keep your camera ready; nature photographers flock here to capture stunning views and diverse wildlife.
I’ve been coming here for years and it’s my favorite place to bike ride. There are paved trails around a series of lakes and also paths around ball fields. We usually get about 6 miles ride and visit on weekdays. It isn’t very crowded and many gators, turtles, and birds. There is also a 3 story observation tower with great views. A very beautiful park.

We discovered this place when we went for a bike ride. Saw lots of gators and met friendly people. Very scenic! Worth the visit. I’ve actually biked here 3 times now.

Patrick A — Google review
Great parks with nice walking paths. We take the kids with their scooters and they love it. Be prepared to carry the scooter over sandy bits and watch out for gators! We saw 3 in one pond the other day. And if you’re walking I’d suggest with little getting there before 10am. It’s brutal.
Paige B — Google review
Very large and spacious park. Park signs say NO pets allowed other than service animals. Also, no golfing in park. Neither an issue for me. Like 3 miles of paved walking trails, lakes, bridges, benches if you need to sit along the way. Wildlife opportunities. 50’ Observation tower, fishing dock, covered pavilions, multiple playground areas with swings! Plenty of parking. For sports, many nice baseball fields, soccer fields and multi use fields. Lots of flora and fauna to be found. Limpkins, great blue herons, ibis, Anahingas and more for your birding. 🐊 gators can be found sunning.
J. R — Google review
Was my go-to park for a long while! Park is well maintained with plenty of wildlife to see.
Avery — Google review
Beautiful park with a nice playground. The park itself has all kinds of things like a soccer field and more. It’s huge but we only went to the playground area. There’s a few benches and picnic tables. It’s clean with pretty surroundings.
Wade — Google review
Absolutely fantastic park with plenty of recreational areas and trails for walking and biking. We found bathrooms at the second playground that has a pavilion to rent. We could not be bothered with the first playground as parking wasn't intuitive. They have limited fishing areas. There is a "pier" you can fish from, not kid friendly as railings are too tall and it's near impossible to fish from shore. The bridges are also too tall to fish from for children but provide adults a decent spot on several of the bridges.

Located at 4200 State Road 544 East, Willowbrook Golf Course is a popular destination for golf enthusiasts. This well-maintained course provides a splendid test of skill and offers amenities that cater to players of all levels. With its carefully designed layout, golfers can enjoy a challenging yet enjoyable game. The course also features The Grille, which is available for tee time reservations and post-game celebrations.
The layout is unreal. There are some real gems on this course. The cart paths are like a Tibetan mountain trail....wear a jock strap!! The greens were fast and in good shape. The distinguishing holes made it easily worth the 40 bucks I paid on golfnow. In town from St. Louis, and honestly, I was happy I played here. Thanks! (Look out for that 9 foot gator that hangs out on 17.)

Beautiful course. I have played many courses in Lakeland, and Tampa this course hands down is in the best condition of any of them. From the greens to the fairways, not to mention the staff and the starter are extremely friendly. If you are lucky you might see a few gators like we did. Happy golfing.
Michelle M — Google review
Course was pretty well maintained for $50, greens rolled pretty true but way to sandy, fairways rolled out, no complaints on golf coming from a $50 course, But the ladies inside the pro shop might’ve been related to the devil. About as rude an unwelcoming as you can get.
Garrett P — Google review
First, l have no clue where the previous reviews came from. Did they play the same course as me? The first problem was making a tee time. They won’t let singles book on line or on GN. So l call. They were charging me $3 more because l didn’t book on line. So l repeated myself to the teenager on the other side - l can’t book on line as a single. Why am l being charged $3 more. All he would do is apologize. Fine, l just wanted to play. I get my cart and it’s OLD. No GPS or USB, and the brake wouldn’t engage. And the scorecard in the cart was already used (as pictured). I didn’t use the driving range, but it had both grass and mats. But l didn’t see any divots in the grass, so l have to assume they always use the mats (-). Then there’s the cart paths. Commonly broken and/or flooded (as pictured). Now the course itself. What a s’hole. It’s a swamp. There’s literally puddles of the water everywhere, including the fairways. I think on 13 or 14, l drove right down the middle - and then splash! Even when it looked dry in the fairways water would commonly form around my feet. My shoes were saturated by the end of the round. And the fairways were spotty. There was actually a guy going around raking the bunkers, and doing a nice job. Possibly the only positive. The last 3-4 holes l played with a regular. He said these are common conditions. He also said they usually keep the greens sanded all summer. It’s a shame. This course could be amazing. A really cool layout with a lot of doglegs. No boring holes. Yet another example of what could be… But between the poor service, carts and conditions they’re lucky you can’t go lower than 1 star.
Timothy H — Google review
This course has not been kept up. Was probably a very nice course at one time . A new bathroom is under construction on the course so there is one porta John that hasn’t been emptied in a year I would guess . It is disgusting, smells & full almost to the top!
Judith W — Google review
The course was wet, but still played well. Alligators were around and didn't bug you, just don't go looking for lost golfballs. Starter was nice and very informative about the course. Great Value at this course, I would definitely recommend that you give it a try. Greens were small but in great condition considering the time of year (Winter).

Water & Amusement Parks
LEGO Ninjago World is a must-visit at the park, featuring Flight School, an exhilarating coaster with feet dangling free. The area also includes Miniland, showcasing iconic American landmarks and cities built from LEGO bricks. Visitors can explore remnants of Cypress Gardens' history, such as botanical gardens with a giant Banyan Tree and water-ski shows. The classic wooden roller coaster Coastersaurus adds to the nostalgic charm.
We had so much fun here with our kid. huge Ninjago fans, the entire park is all themed so well. Well manicured, minimal wait times great customer service we haven’t eaten yet so I can’t comment on the food. Great value for the $.

We visited LEGOLAND, and it was an unforgettable experience! The park is perfectly designed for families, with attractions that kept all of us entertained — from thrilling rides to creative LEGO builds. Our kids were amazed by the interactive zones, especially the mini cities built entirely with LEGO bricks. The staff was friendly, the park was clean, and the lines were reasonable. It felt safe, well-organized, and full of positive energy. We had a blast building together, laughing, and just enjoying quality family time. Highly recommended for families looking to create great memories. We’ll definitely be coming back! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🎢🧱
Arieskien M — Google review
The park is definitely for young kids. Not a lot of exciting stuff here. However, it feels much more relaxing just walk around comparing to Disney and Universal. Just heads up, the ride probably will close 30 min before park closes.

We really enjoyed this park. We got poured on but they were ready with ponchos and umbrellas for sale. There is also a huge tent in the middle of the park that has lego city's and that was a great place to escape the rain. My only frustration there was the map isn't the easiest to read so really look at it before you go. It was amazing to see the legos and my 6 year old had a blast!!! The whole family really had a great time!!
Jennifer L — Google review
For the whole family. There are rides the whole family can enjoy, from very young to adults. Water top up avaliable at the rest areas. Water park is an additional $25 per person. Only issue is they don't take CASH so couldn't buy anything, left early to eat.

The Lego Park is a one-of-a-kind experience, for sure! If you Love Legos like we do, then you have to stop by... Do not expect a world-class theme park experience, because that, it is not...but. The Lego builds everywhere are masterful, they provide walk-through sprinklers on the sidewalks, for a quick cool-down in the heat, and they also host self-serve soda kiosks throughout the park, for quick access, after you purchase your Souvenir Cup. We did not ride any rides, but the families with little ones, really seemed to be enjoying their time. Definitely stop for a coffee at the Lego Coffee House, because the staff in that area was wonderful!!❤️
Kristen H — Google review
Friendly customer service. Nice Park...(smaller than the other theme parks) More focused on "Littles one's" some fun rides and activities for family. Especially the boat ride. You will get SOAKED 💦💦💦💦 The actual presentation is great 👍 I love Legos. We had a nice day ☀️🎢🎡🌴🌉💦 But could do more with interaction and entertainment. Oh by the way.... it's a cash free park. NO 🚫 cash excepted 💳 So if you plan on purchasing anything from the BIG STORE 🏪 make sure you have LOT'S of 💵 available on your 💳 If you purchase your tickets on line you can save $5.00 per ticket 🎟️✌️

Love Legoland! Ninjago park is cool - fun ride, a couple physical play attractions for active kids, neat legislation sculptures, and a food truck (sadly closed when we went by this time, but still great). Highly recommend Legoland in general for family fun without all the intensity and money-bleed of "The Mouse Park". Good food, friendly staff, interactive, and inexpensive. Only thing I haven't done is stay at their hotel. I'm sure it's cool tho, based on the rest. Lego sets aren't marked up at the park, BTW so buying onsite is less painful.

Highly recommend The Living Water Boat Cruises with Captain David! He was very knowledgeable and made the tour a lot of fun by letting us use his binoculars to see wildlife up close. For someone who appreciates nature and loves photography… this was totally worth my time as I was on vacation!

We did the sunset dinner cruise during our anniversary weekend. This was our first boat tour with Living Waters, and we had a wonderful time! Our boat captain, Randy, did a great job. He gave a lot of info, history of the area and points of interest. We had a nice dinner at Harbourside, with a beautiful view. The sunset could not have been more perfect. Thank you for a fun and memorable experience! We look forward to our next boat tour with Living Waters, and would highly recommend as a great activity with family and friends.

My husband and I had a great cruise with Captain Darrell! He shared great information about the lakes, the area, wildlife and the history of Winter Haven and The Chain of Lakes, all in a fun and interesting way. A great experience from start to finish! We would definitely do this again and we highly recommend it to others!
Brenda K — Google review
This was perfect! I'm always nervous around water but Capt. Randy made me forget the nerves and relax! We were a large group of family and extended family! He was soooo patient and let anyone who wanted to have a turn at the wheel. The kids and adults ALL loved it! Thank you Capt. Randy for a wonderful experience!

Captain Randy, was our tour guide. We started with seeing a Bald Eagle carrying a snake, then 11 gators, 3 night herons, and Lago land skiers practicing jumps, it was a great time for my grand children.

Captain David was awesome! He was personable, knowledgeable, funny and charming! He provided a great tour for us which we thoroughly enjoyed, the sunset cruise with dinner at Harborside! We will strongly recommend this tour to our friends and family!
Kim P — Google review
This was a great experience! My mom, Grandma and I went here as a day trip and our guide, Randy, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was willing to go the extra mile (even in reverse) whenever I spotted an animal I wanted to photograph.

Legoland is awesome, but it's not quite complete without the lagoon tour with the living water boat cruises. Captain Randy was so amazingly kind and patient! Our little ones were nervous and a little anxious. He provided a sense of comfort and safety with his humor and short stories! It was perfect! Then, to add icing on the cake, he allowed them to drive the boat (although it was very short because they were so afraid) they were quite thrilled for the exposure! It was a magical experience for the entire family! Don't miss out! Book today with Captain Randy!

July 5, 2023. I highly recommend this boat cruise. Captain David was informative and fun. He had lots of fun facts in those 30 minutes. Since it was just us 4, my kids got to drive the boat for a minute. I recommend you do this before 9am because the heat will get to you as the day gets hotter.

We had a beautiful ride with Captain D!!!! We had out of town guests and they really enjoyed the ride. We also had front row viewing of the Legoland ski show from our boat…… we will do it again when we have guests!!! BTW this was my 3rd ride!!!! The other 2 were just as nice!!!!!

Hurricane Grill & Wings in Winter Haven is a vibrant tropical-themed eatery that specializes in crafting wings to your liking, complete with an impressive selection of sauces. This lively spot also serves up classic pub fare and boasts a full bar for those looking to unwind. After a fun-filled day at Legoland, families can enjoy quick service and delicious meals here.
This was my first time going to hurricane grill. Everything was nice and hot. Very tasty and a wonderful atmosphere. I would definitely go back again

The wings were delicious. Customer service was on point. My only complaint is there should be a little bit of music playing on the outside patio
Jamaar P — Google review
Haven’t been here in 8-10 years. Decided to stop in today and wow I was blown away. The food was hot and fresh with delicious flavoring. The drink I had was their cat 4 and reminded me of an island drink beachside. The staff were super friendly and offered excellent service. Will definitely be back again soon!!! We had the kids chicken tenders, 10 piece boneless wings with firecracker sauce, fried pickles and their Monterey chicken quesadilla. In addition to our amazing food my husband had happy hour with draft beer and I had the cat 4 drink! A must visit!!!!

We are frequent customers at this establishment and will continue to be because of the amazing servers. One in particular stands out every time and his name is Robert. He is one of the friendliest servers of many there. He has an amazing memory and attention to detail. He always welcomes us and remembers who we are every single time. If something is missing or not right he notices before he delivers it. He also lets us know right away that he is getting it fixed. He is so kind and genuine. The ladies there are pretty great too, but I just had to give him a shout out. Thanks Robert for your great service, see you again soon!

I reallllllllly wanted to like this place but…no. I’m a wing girly and wings are just my thing. These are to date the worst wings I’ve ever had in my life. The breading was completely soft and soggy and the sauce was super thin and lacked flavor. I was pushing myself to eat them. My daughter’s chicken tenders were even worse. You can see in the video the breading just soggy and falling off. Barely edible honestly. The burger was a 3/10. The only bright side was the mozzarella sticks. They were good. Service started out strong with a great greeting and impression and then we realized that we were wrong. She brought out the chicken tenders without bbq sauce to my daughter while we waited on our food. Then after stopping her to ask for the bbq sauce yet again, she brought it after another 20 minutes. Keep in mind this place wasn’t packed. Maybe us and 2 of 3 more takes with few people so I can’t even excuse the lack of service and forgetfulness. We also ordered drinks that were $10 each. Hubby and I agreed that they tasted watered down and like they had no alcohol in them. I drink once a year so I feel any sort of shot in my drink. Felt zero. Anyways we won’t be returning and we warned our friends not to check out this place. Save your money. $80 and we were left feeling like it was a waste. All leftovers were trashed the second we left. Staff needs training and maybe some different cooks or a different recipe.

First time here, and it was a great experience! Gerald was an awesome server—his attention to detail was top-notch, and he truly went above and beyond to provide the best customer service. He recommended the hottest sauce for the wings, and it did not disappoint! Definitely 5 stars for him and, of course, for the whole team. Great job!
Frankie G — Google review
Not sure what they have recently changed with their boneless wings but they are rough. The chicken is very chewy and feels like you are chewing on rubber. If you can imagine…. The wait staff ladies are nice and courteous. The prices…. Hurricanes is so expensive that we will not eat there anymore. $14 + dollars for 10 boneless wings… and that’s not even a meal, and they were horrible. I am sorry but I give honest reviews and the prices alone push me away from this place.
Tyler H — Google review
Chicken was tough and very very chewy. We had to send it back. Got the coconut shrimp tacos and just ate the shrimp as the taco was a cold tortilla and store bought coleslaw. Not very good. The worst part, was we ordered a certain type of wing and as the waitress brought the food to our table , she stopped and SNIFFED the food to see what the wing flavor was. Yikes. Would never recommend.

Fast food restaurant
At Tijuana Flats, you can enjoy innovative Tex-Mex cuisine in a friendly and relaxed setting. From tacos, burritos and quesadillas to the famous hot sauce bar, this restaurant has everything you need to create your own unique meal. Plus, there's plenty of outdoor seating for enjoying the Florida weather.
The staff and service was great! The atmosphere is fun and we really enjoyed the covered outdoor seating. The food was good, only complaint was that it was a little cold. Flavor and freshness was just what we were looking for. The variety of hot sauces is fun as well! The chips were not the best, but not the worst either, just average I guess. Would definitely eat here again.

Bought a family size taco kit. Cold and old food. The online order said it would be ready in 45 minutes. Showed up in 30 min and it was cold so.it had been sitting out awhile. They forgot the chips and the lettuce was brown and soggy looking. It was the first thing i saw when picking up the order. The food is also bland. Not surprised this food chain isnt doing well.
A — Google review
Nice spot in a nice area. The service was good. The tacos were excellent also. Just wish they had actual bottles for their hot sauce. Seems like the location could use more attention.
Miguel M — Google review
Kid taking the order … no personality… no expression.. can’t hear him if he talks… cause he doesn’t explain anything… but he will argue with you… I approach him to ask about items that I ordered but didn’t receive.. he says “NO” you asked about those items… you didn’t order them… I explained that I ordered the items… kid brings it out… cold…. Which brings me to my order… everything was cold and soggy…. But the beer was warm… yeah… yummy…. I left… just left the food and beer on the table… None of the staff interact… and when they call your name to deliver your food… Blondie with the achene tosses it on the table and runs…. Establishment is absolutely filthy…. I will never come back

Mama had the two taco meal and I had the beef burrito. The tacos were a pretty good size you can see the picture and the burrito had some heft to it. The flavor was good and the salsa that came out with the chips was really good also. There was a really large selection of different hot sauces you could try with colorful names. The place was clean and the service was friendly. They have Coke products I always get a diet Coke. I would definitely recommend this place for a nice lunch or dinner.
Doug U — Google review
Overall, it was okay-good. Some things were meh. The queso is yellow (not white) and was meh. Nothing special, sorry we ordered the larger size. The Atomic bombs were very good but better adding the various sauces they offer (best part of the visit) Quesadilla had plenty of chicken and filling! Shrimp and cilantro rice bowl was good according to my husband. The side order of the Mexican rice was terrible. Skip that. There are about 12 hot sauces you can try and that was fun! Chips came with our meal so we tried most of the sauces. Overall it was okay-good. I probably will not go back.

Unfortunately, after today’s visit, I won’t be returning or recommending this location. I’ve noticed the food quality has declined over the years. A few months ago, I ordered the chicken tacos and was surprised by how much the chicken tasted like it came from a can. I gave it another try today and ordered a burrito bowl with extra blackened chicken, light rice, and extra lettuce. The bowl barely had any chicken, though to be fair, they did provide a small cup of extra when I pointed it out. Two stars because they did try to correct the issue. Still, at $15, it just wasn’t worth it. Disappointed overall.
Chriss B — Google review
Such a fun and delicious experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and so sweet to my kids. The restaurant is very casual and a perfect place to stop after a long day at the theme park. I love that they put their nachos on a long tray so that the proportions of toppings to chips is perfect. Honestly all the food was amazing! Big thank you to Sara for going above and beyond to just make our day.

Diner
Big Tom's Diner is a popular diner located just outside of Auburndale in Winter Haven, FL. They serve delicious food at reasonable prices and have a huge menu with many choices. The service is fantastic and the quality of the food is excellent.
Big Tom’s Diner is a must-visit spot for both breakfast and lunch! The food is simply incredible—whether you’re craving hearty breakfast dishes or a satisfying lunch, they’ve got you covered. The biscuits and gravy were absolutely massive and packed with flavor, truly a meal on their own. On top of the fantastic food, the staff adds to the experience. Our waitress was amazing—energetic, friendly, and full of life, making us feel right at home. Highly recommend stopping by for a great meal and even better service!
Eunice A — Google review
Big Tom's strikes me as a classic locals diner. The kind of place that has plenty of regulars. Everything we ordered was quite good and the portions were big to say the least. The average eater could easily share a single meal with a friend and be satisfied. My daughter had the Cuban sandwich and made the claim that it was about the best she has had! I especially enjoyed the cole slaw that came with my meal. The service was friendly and efficient to top it all off. Big Tom's is a winner if you ask me.

Our dinner tonight. My wife got the cheeseburger with fries and slaw. I got the chicken, mushrooms, and gravy, but I subbed white gravy for the brown. Side salad along with my side choices of warm cinnamon apples and cottage cheese. (I mix them together) We arrived around 5:30ish. It wasn't real busy. We were seated fast and overall the service was great. I didn't get our waitress name, unfortunately. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. We had no complaints. We left with our bellies full, and leftovers. We've eaten here several times, and it has always been a great experience. 10/10

This place has a nice casual atmosphere with excellent food and service! My server Alyssa had me sold in the reuben sandwich when she mentioned that they cure the beef in-house! I highly recommend, and I will definitely be back!

I was looking for a place to eat breakfast, and I found this diner. Highly recommended, if you are in a Keto Diet, they have different breakfast platters with eggs and/or chicken and steak. The service was phenomenal.
Miguel A — Google review
One of my favorite diners in Winter Haven. They have breakfast all day. After going to breakfast places all over Winter Haven, I found the waffles here to be the absolute best. They were just not too crunchy and tasted smooth. I haven't had a better waffle around. As for lunch and dinner, they have just about everything at a reasonable price. Highly prefer.

I'm a fan of the retro era, and this restaurant nails it. The staff wear diner uniforms and the walls have posters that make you feel like you went back in time. My husband and I have come here 3 times now, and this is what we ordered last time. My husband ordered the supreme breakfast burritos with a side of potatoes, and I ordered a pancake, eggs, and sausages. They were really good. They give you so much food for less money than in fast food restaurants. Big Tom's Diner is one of those restaurants that caused us to no longer buy breakfast in fast food restaurants. This is quality breakfast for less. Their corned beef hash is to die for, I ordered it the first two times we came for breakfast. The eggs Benedict and their potato casserole are amazing. Their biscuits are big and fluffy as well. Great service and food for an affordable price! 🍽️

We had an incredible dinner, made even better by our amazing server, Erica! From the moment we sat down, Erica made us feel genuinely welcomed. She was warm, knowledgeable, and had perfect timing throughout the evening. Her recommendations were spot on, and you could tell she truly cared about our experience. The food was phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—but Erica’s exceptional service is what made the night truly unforgettable. She’s a gem, and the restaurant is lucky to have her. We’ll definitely be back and will be asking for her again!
