Beautiful atmosphere. Some of the food items we wanted were not available and this was early in the afternoon. However the view and the beautiful green, blue glistening waters created a vibes. I went for the view , experience and the Lobster. They did not disappoint.

Visited Rick's with our catamaran cruise wish we could have stayed longer!! Atmosphere is perfect with high cliffs for jumping & crystal blue water!! We swam from the catamaran to the side of the cliff & used the stairs to get to the bar. Too fun!! ThIs is a must when in Jamaica 🇯🇲 ONE LOVE

Talk about amazing views of the sun setting while enjoying carribean music, food, dancing, drinking, people and cliff diving into the crystal clear water. My family & I stayed in Negril at the Azul resort which is about a 30 min ride away. I look forward to coming back in the near future. I would recommend everyone visit Rick’s Cafe while in Jamaica 🇯🇲

This is a fun and lively place to visit. They have cliff jumping and dance competitions, to name a few, all while you sit and enjoy the beautiful ocean views and watch the sun set. The food was amazing. Jerk chicken and shrimp were a definite have again and spicy as they should be.

Dare I say overpriced and overhyped? 🤔I wasn’t impressed to say the least and the “journey” to get here was turbulent. I’d recommend driving vs. the catamaran but it also depends on the vibe you want. Service here tho was lackluster and slow. The food was not worth the price albeit good. I think if you’re going for the music and party vibes and not so much the food and service, you’d have a great time. I was really looking forward to the food more than anything else so I was incredibly disappointed. It is a cultural asset of sorts so it’s worth a visit just know you may be disappointed. The views however are a different story. Very nicely situated with amazing views of the water.. that I really enjoyed.

Breathtaking Views, Fun Vibes — But a Bit Too Touristy This spot definitely delivers when it comes to scenery and entertainment. The cliff diving was amazing to watch — such a thrill! The pool overlooking the ocean is absolutely stunning and makes for a perfect backdrop to just relax and soak it all in. Live entertainment added great energy and made the whole experience feel lively and fun. The food, however, was just average — nothing memorable, and definitely not the highlight. Overall, it was a good time, but the place did feel overly touristy and a bit commercial, which took away some of the authenticity. Worth checking out for the views and atmosphere, but don’t expect a local hidden gem.

What can I say this place is amazing, amazing , amazing. The food is awesome the staff is always on point and great you with a smile and the view, wow 100 out of 10. We have been coming here for years. We have stayed at the resort this is located in before however most of the times we are staying at an all inclusive and still chose every year to come for dinner. We always call or email before our trip and make reservations. Ivan's will send a driver to pick you up at your hotel and bring you back. We are always taken care of and just love the food.

Our favorite meal of our vacation, absolutely incredible! Had a sunset dinner with better views and lower prices than Rick's next door. So awesome! Highly recommend! Kid friendly and they have parking and nice bathrooms and Wi-Fi

Eating at Ivan’s was a wonderful experience! The staff made us feel well taken care of, and everyone was so kind. And the food? Absolutely delicious. The only downside was the wait time, so be prepared to wait a bit for your meal. But once the food arrives, the flavor makes it worth it. Special shoutout to Paul, who was especially pleasant and helpful. I’d definitely recommend Ivan’s to anyone visiting Negril!

The best place to eat in Negril!! My friend and I stayed at Catcha Falling Star and ate at Ivan's 3 times during our stay. The food was phenomenal every single time! All the servers were awesome! The view was extraordinary also!

We had a wonderful dinner at Ivan’s while in Negril last week. The setting is absolutely beautiful — right on the cliffs with incredible ocean views, especially at sunset. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. The food was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was warm and attentive. Overall, Ivan’s was one of the highlights of our trip to Jamaica. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for great food, amazing views, and a true taste of Negril hospitality

The atmosphere of this place is incredible. A beautiful getaway in a little piece of paradise. We were here for dinner during sunset, awesome view. The food was delicious, we had jerk and coconut shrimp, the seafood pasta and the whole red snapper. Everything tastes very good and fresh, I just wish the Escovitch was spicier and more flavorful. Our server Vivienne was fantastic aswell. Overall a memorable evening, definately recommend!

Had a fabulous dinner here! We didn’t have reservations but they were able to get us in anyways with a lovely sunset view. I’ll be back if I ever have the chance, but will definitely make a reservation next time.

This seemed like a higher end restaurant for locals in Negril. Don’t expect to find tourists here. Great local cuisine with vegetarian options and really good service. I would totally recommend this spot if you’re looking for a local food experience with quality, quantity and ambience.

From the moment I walked in, the smell of home-cooked Jamaican food filled the air — and I knew I was in for something special. The place has a relaxed, local vibe that makes you feel welcome right away. I ordered the curry goat and oxtail — both were absolutely delicious, tender, and packed with authentic island flavor. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and every bite tastes like it’s made with love. The service was friendly and genuine, and even though the restaurant was busy, everything came out fresh and hot. Sweet Spice is a perfect example of what makes Jamaican food so amazing — simple, hearty dishes done right. If you’re visiting Negril, this spot is a must! Don’t be fooled by its humble look — it’s where the locals eat, and that says it all. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in Jamaica.

Very good customer service, my expectations for taste of foods was not there ,specially for fried rice but price is very reasonable and not expensive. there was no much crowd for dine in but I noticed that big waiting line for takeaway. Location also perfect, no issues with parking, we had enough parking spaces. Don’t expect indian foods or that taste from this restaurant.

The food was amazing and the service was wonderful!! They bring you a soup before your order, and OMG, it is delicious!! All 6 of us absolutely enjoyed our meal! If we had more time, we would have returned!!

Great stuff here. Straight to the point deliciousness. Had the oxtail and the curry chicken. Both great. Good pricing as well. Had some fresh fruit drinks on the side as well. Complimentary chicken soup to start really gets you rev’d up with its spicy kick.

Dare to go off the beaten track to eat delicious food and dine with and like the locals. This place is super cool. I love the vibe and space. Service was fabulous and very friendly and also quick with hot food. Drinks are fun and many natural. The food is delicious with generous portions. So do give it a try. The were plenty of shops to look around at when doing the shopping experience with beaches. Reasonable prices at all shops. Similar items at all shops with some differentiation.

Interesting place. You can buy everything you want. Souvenirs, clothes, alcohol and other. Clear and large. There is tour agency on the territory and "duty free" zone. You can buy a transition to an American electrical outlet in the pavilion 10 - only $ 2.

The mall is conveniently located near the beach in Negril. A nice little mall with many souvenir shops you can browse through. Some shops are more expensive than others with the same products so browse first. My family and I were happy to find a small grocery shop where we bought snacks, drinks, other necessary items. The owner and his wife are helpful and friendly.

A few regular stores selling all things from Jamaica.. all the same.. safe..clean.. lovely sales people.

Souvenir and gift shops, as well as a place to relax and have a drink. The shops are small and offer only affordable souvenirs. Nice place. I personally impressed Bob Marley's statue. Do not expect any boutique shops 🇯🇲

BE CAREFUL!! This is suppose to be DUTY FREE. However, LAMCY EXCLUSIVE GIFT SHOP (SHOP #4A) a charge tax of approximately 24% on COFFEE AND ALCOHOL. Very disappointing. We all found SUNNYSIDE Gift (SHOP #10), to be tax free and sell items at a reasonable rate. Please check Sunnyside gift shop #10, out.

Please remember that not all of the shops are honest. Especially shop 4A operated by Vickie, he has a sweet tongue. He told us one price and charged us another. This location is Duty Free, but he charges duty in a very slick way. Buyer Be Ware...

It has many many restores along the mile which has beach access. We just went on a drive for Margaritaville which had beach access. It was beautiful. The whole place is amazing with its tropical weather yo the variety of fruits and food options. People are kind and friendly. The beaches are clean and pristine in almost all the places we went. Some of the tourists still left their half filled plastic bottles and cups of drinks on the beaches. Which the guards mostly cleanup after hours( which they shouldn’t have to if one is responsible enough) Some beach access you will have to pay in Montego Bay. But still it’s always worth it. The warm sun and sunsets are almost magical. These countries are blessed with good soil and a lot of abundance of healthy foods.

Perfect beach in Jamaica & Caribbean. Warm waters, casual & relaxed atmosphere, no stop lights, very controlled with really amazing policing with many police patrol on the negril seven mile beach to ensure everyone feels safe at all times. Also controlled by plane clothing policing/undercover who would remove persons from the beach if caught patronizing tourist for food, drinks , goods & other unwelcome services. Negril beach is so beautiful and rocks cafe is a highlight. So many places to have dinner and reggae horseback riding is the best option for ocean swim, shaded trail ride and the only one mile of private white sand to enjoy a romantic and family ride with love ones. Reggae horseback offers free unlimited photos & videos for every person with a phone/camera. Negril also has Reggae Horseback & Golf Packages. Many attractions to visit & play golf too. Negril seven mile beach is the most beautiful beach. Marijuana tours, ostrich tour at reggae horseback, and visit other rustic & natural unspoiled beaches🐎🐎🐎🇯🇲

Beautiful water, I have nothing bad to say about this beach. We went in the middle of July, 2025, the water was clear and calm. I did spot a sting ray, star fish and various fishes near the shallow area. People do offer to sell you things on the beach but it's not overwhelming. Various excursions are available near this location

Even if you don't participate in the Reggae Marathon, the Negril Seven Mile Beach is a beautiful beach to visit. I absolutely loved my time here. There's seven miles of beach, so there's more than enough room to grab some sand and chill. The water is calming and clear, but there are areas where it's "busy". Every beach has its spots and this beach is no exception.

Probably one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever visited. Chill vibes and warm water coupled with fresh juice and patty vendors, what more could you want. Check out Best in the West chicken nearby or just get delicious chicken from the many barrel vendors. Spent New year's eve swimming under the fireworks and paper lanterns. It was magical.

Wowwww…. The PIZZA!!! 😍 My fiancé and I finished an entire pie on our own after an app lol. It was AMAZING. Chef was super attentive and set up a table for us on the upper level, which we had to ourselves. He brought us music and was very friendly and welcoming. What a great sunset view, too. We enjoyed every minute of our visit.

We were pretty hungry and wanted something other than chicken. They are known for their pizza here. Curbside pick up as well. I'm not sure about delivery. We decided we would venture up 7 mile beach to "Chance's." It is so important to mention that "Chance's" has wheelchair access and specified seating, marked clearly on the tables. There's a lot of room to move around. We already had pizza at "Lee's Pizza" (in Negril, Jamaica) the day before, so we decided to have fettuccine. The menu online needs to be updated a little bit, but that's okay. We took a CHANCE anyway (see what I did there?). They had a massive menu in plain view on the wall, plus updated, interesting, hand-held, wooden menus. It is a pass through open-air concept with a huge bar with a lot of different types of alcohol. You can sit around the whole bar or at a table big enough for 2. The washrooms need a little up dating, and of course, if I didn't have tissues with me, I would have been upset. I kindly let the bartender know they were out of toilet paper. She fixed it right away. In Jamaica, always carry some travel tissues (kleenex). You never know if the washroom was extremely busy that day,and a washroom has run out. (Just helping out a fellow traveler) Anyway, back to the food. Great fettuccine Alfredo, very quick, friendly service, a good portion for one. It was also decently priced. All in all, it fixed our hunger pangs. We found the original Jamaican bobsled that was used in the Calgary Winter Olympics for 1988, in bad shape, beside the bathrooms. That bobsled need to be put in a museum, under glass at the airport. It would be awesome to see if that was one of the first things you set your eyes on at the Sangster airport, even in the condition it is right now. It's historical! ❤️ Good experience at "Chance's" we will try the pizza next time for sure.

We went for Sunday afternoon music last night. Had a large Tropic pizza (Hawaiian) and it was quite good. Crispy thin crust, nice tasting sauce and a good amount of toppings. A good size, we didn't finish - had a couple slices left for breakfast and they were good cold. Music was ok. Service was ok but it was a lot quieter than it used to be. Still fun people watching. Washrooms still dirty. Large pizza, 3 red stripe, one bottle of water, $7 tip for the server and $2 for the band = $49.

I've been visiting this place with my family for almost 30 years. The owners are like family to us. It's a great place to chill, enjoy good music, go swimming, get snacks, sandwiches, drinks, juices and cocktails and have a good time with family and friends! There's usually a volleyball net on the beach and lots of Watersports available including Glassbottom and banana boat rides, jet skies and parasailing. You can get artisan jewellery, paintings, gifts, tapestry and clothing at the gift shop on site as well. Have a great time at Chances Negril Jamaica!

The place is abandoned. Dusty and dirty. It's not a bad place to park to enter beach though.

Reasonably priced Pizza Restaurant on Seven Mile Beach. Friendly service, laid back and informal atmosphere. Jerk chicken pizza was nice.

The atmosphere was lovely! Beautiful location. Beautiful view and great setup. The service was okay… we went an hour before closing, so I can imagine it was the end of a long day/shift for staff. I was looking at the menu and some tourists walked in, and the waitress asked me for the menu… I then asked the bartender for another menu and she told me to just look at the board… yet the other waitress had just told the tourists that it wasn’t the right menu…? So I wasn’t sure how as a paying customer, I wasn’t to have that same right? Or if there was only one menu? So that kinda threw me off. The service we received was JUST okay. As for the food, we got the chicken pizza with pineapple added, and the salami pizza with pineapple added again. Considering the fact that we spent just about $7,500 for 2 small sized pizzas (they’re all one size- small… could pass for a medium in some places), as the USD conversion was at $150, we expected far more than we received. Not very impressed at all. But the food was prepared quite quickly, and if you’re dining in, it’s a lovely spot.

Super chill place. Sat at the bar with my wife and friends and enjoys the sunset. Had some really good drinks served up by Opal herself and had a really good perk sausage pizza.

We can up on this place by chance , and had a wonderful unexpected surprise. Restaurant owners are friendly and let you feel at home. The food and drinks are fantastic , and the views are out of this world. Can't wait to return next year.

The food is so good you nearly forget the absolutely stunning view. Nearly... We had such a miserable experience at the famous (overpriced) Rick's Cafe that we were pleasantly surprised by the gem next door. I highly recommend the lobster pizza, but we also really enjoyed their coconut shrimp and stuffed fish also. We loved it so much we visited 3 times in 2 days!

Beautiful views daytime views from every seat. Side room had a women's boutique items on 2 racks plus streaming sports on a tv. We ate here twice during daytime hours. Pizza and beers were a nice appetizer. Beers cool, but not cold. Unfortunately, grilled lobster was overcooked for our taste. Sauces/butter helped, and staff was apologetic.

We had breakfast and dinner here as it was close to where we were staying. The food is not bad here it is decent but nothing to rave about I would give the food 4 stars but the service from our experience was not the best. Jamaica is naturally a laid back experience so most places take their time which is fine but upon arriving it felt like we were bothering/not wanted by workers. Our second time was better but still not the best. For better food and service I would go to a more local spot. This place does however have a very beautiful lookout into the ocean with great views.

Over the last 20 years we keep returning to Tensing Pen, as often as we possibly can. It is the most beautiful and relaxing place to stay. You can't beat South Pillar for the comfort, the view of sunsets, dolphins and the diving bridge. The food is so good we never go out to eat anywhere else. And the people - so kind and welcoming.

Truly relaxing with a wonderful staff—Tensing Pen is the perfect escape. Don’t come with a packed agenda; just unwind. Bring a few books, sip cocktails, enjoy delicious food, and take a swim. We loved trying the restaurants across the street, especially Rick’s Cafe (the cliff divers are wild!) and even the lively bar next door—yes, even with "Happy Birthday" playing 50 times a night. Tensing Pen for the win.

Tensing Pen was one of the best resorts I've ever had the pleasure of staying at!! The food, every meal was fabulous! Fresh and homemade and delicious and beautifully served! Diving off the cliffs was exciting and the water was gorgeous ! So cool to be able to snorkel right at the resort. The rooms were stunning and comfortable. Privacy for everyone and easy to get together for our group!! I will be planning another trip!! Thank you 🙏

The food and drinks at the Tensing Pen restaurant were phenomenal. Not to mention the service. My favorite dish was the Escovich Snapper and Razor kept my Dark and Stormies coming. Can’t wait to go back.

Tensing Pen is pure magic. As the host of The Aligned Escape Retreat, I could not have asked for a more perfect setting. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us like family—warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. Every detail, from the oceanfront views to the thoughtfully prepared meals, reflected the authenticity and spirit of Jamaica. Our group of women came for rest, reflection, and reconnection, and the energy of this place supported all of it. The cottages were peaceful and immaculate, the food was fresh and flavorful, and the entire property radiated tranquility. Tensing Pen isn’t just a resort—it’s an experience of soul-level hospitality. I can’t imagine hosting my retreat anywhere else. We’re already planning our return for 2026!

Hospitality training must not be a requirement to work at Kuyaba. I’ll begin with the staff being totally bleak as if they are miserable at work. Perhaps moral is low. The front desk Candy was most kind and helpful but the male front desk worker was short with us and clearly showed annoyance when we asked any questions or tried to have any conversation. We avoided him but it made for an uncomfortable stay. I’m still not really sure what the “security guard” on the beach does as he only provided chairs for us once. The most friendly staff were the room service ladies and the male grounds keepers sweeping and cleaning. They smiled and greeted us everytime. The AC in our room did not work. Hot water rarely came in and the one time it did it lasted 10 minutes at most. There are no coffee makers or microwaves in the rooms and food service was a long wait no matter how empty the dinning area was. A good solution to that is eating elsewhere with friendlier efficient staff. Though this establishment is not at 4 or 5 star hotel the basic standards are lacking. I would say you get what you pay for but unfortunately this stay was worth much less.

I am in love with the bar/restaurant area of this hotel. Beautiful views of the beach. I came for dinner for the Bird of Paradise-stuffed chicken, and it was delicious! I had the peanut butter pie for dessert, and it was good, too. The service was great! If you come to eat, don't forget to say hello to the two parrots at the hotel, buddy and charlie!!

I have returned to this hotel many times (7 or 8?) The landscaping is lovely and very well maintained. There are also two large cages, each with a parrot. The hotel is located on the beach and has a beautiful restaurant with a wonderful view of the water. It's a perfect place to watch the sunset. It's a relatively short walk to town from the hotel. Across the street from the hotel is Times Square, which has a number of gift shops. About a block from Times Square is a very small store that offers some essential food and beverage items, as well as some very good Jamaican patties. Kuyaba is not fancy, but I return there every time I come to Jamaica because it's very pleasant, with its convenient location, friendly staff, great restaurant, and lovely grounds.

Beautiful beach location. Very good value for money and a delicious restaurant. Perfect for a long breakfast on the beach or dinner at sunset. We were here for business. And i would definitely stay again private. Rooms have Air Condition and nice Balconys.

We were walking along 7 mile beach and happened upon this restaurant. The food was delish, the drinks flavorful and the view is beautiful, all with a good price. The music and service added to a great experience. We didn't stay at the hotel.

I try to never leave bad reviews but honestly the view is beautiful and thats it !!! I ordered lobster pasta too be sure and it was a disaster no seasoning nothing …costumer service waitress bad as well …rather eat at some other little restaurant on the beach it will be cheaper and great food same view

We had a wonderful celebratory dinner after our son proposed to his girlfriend here! Miss Gayle, Miss Cunningham, Joanna, and Brittney all worked seamlessly to make the moment unforgettable! The ambiance and location are unbeatable. This moment was priceless, food was delicious, and staff excellent in every way.

This was our first time visiting the Swaby Black River Safari and we were warmly welcomed by the lovely lady at the ticket desk—so polite and friendly. We then set off with our captain, Cornell, who was incredibly knowledgeable. We learned so much about the crocodiles, the Black River, the local wildlife and plant life, as well as the history and surroundings of St. Elizabeth and neighbouring Trelawny. Everyone on our tour had a fantastic time—Cornell kept us entertained with fun trivia and nonstop jokes. We were able to interact with the adult crocodiles and touch them. After the tour, we got to see baby turtles and hold the baby crocodiles. Honestly, this is one of the best experiences I’ve had in Jamaica. We absolutely loved it!

There is adequate parking, the waiting area needs improvement, the entrance and the area to buy the ticket seemed incomplete. The bathrooms looked newly renovated and everywhere including the bathroom was clean. For the tour- I LOVED it! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and charismatic. He was very interactive with us and the crocodiles seemed like they were paid actors too! I’d definitely recommend here.

I've been wanting to do this tour for a while now. I was so mesmerized, the captain, the crocodiles, the journey up the Black River. It was awesome. My 6yr old son could not stop talking about it for days. Please go and enjoy the experience. Well worth it.

We had an excellent time with our guide! He was really funny and knowledgeable. We had a great time and saw a few crocodile. We even got to hold a young one inside the nursery. Really well worth the price of admission. We went on the 10am tour and weren't disappointed at all... ♥ 🐊

Visited here today and was able to do the 1pm tour. The staff who welcomed us were pleasant and helpful. The boat captain Daniel was very knowledgeable and funny. His knowledge and humour calmed all of us who were nervous. He had someone with him who helped to feed the crocodiles and he was very good too. You can buy tickets ahead of time but it wasn’t necessary. I’d recommend knowing the tour times so you don’t have to wait too long for the next one. We saw about 5 crocodiles too and were able to pet the baby crocs too

It has been a rewarding experience to learn about the flora and fauna of this wonderful place.

This boat ride wasn't on my radar but I'm so happy it included in our package. It was an exceptional experience. There's plenty of space on the boat, so every seat is really a good seat. If sitting in the sun is a concern, go for the inside seat. The river is beautiful! Being out on the water, getting a little history, and observing the animals was quite entertaining. My husband really enjoyed it to. This attraction is a hidden gem that everyone should find.

A very lovely hour spent looking around this little jewel of a garden. We were very lucky and saw an adolescent Swallow Tail Hummingbird (Doctor Bird) You NEED to be Patient and Quiet!! So if you can't sit still for more than 5 minutes, this will not be for you! In addition, remember this is a garden that is lucky enough to have Hummingbirds visit not a bird park, so nothing is guaranteed.

The staff here was super inviting and knowledgeable about different species of hummingbirds. The hummingbirds are usually found in the Blue Mountains, but Barney has curated a garden with specific features to draw the hummingbirds to this side of the island. We got to see 3 of the national bird and 2 mangoes. I had one come right up to my feeder and feed from my hand. Go early on the morning or late in the day as the birds prefer cooler temperatures and shade. Expect to spend 1-2 hours here. Cash only if you pay in person and do not reserve online.

I am sorry to say but this place is not worth visiting in it's current state. (Taxi and Entry fees cost three of us over $150) The owner cares for it deeply but it's a shadow of it's previous glory. We later visited Rockland's near Mobay which gave us an amazing experience feeding Hummingbirds and many other species.

Day 7 – As we awoke on our last morning in the deep west, we had to make a stop at Barney's botanical garden. A beautiful sanctuary full of firecracker flowers, bromeliads and heliconia blooms along with hummingbirds; we arrived at 10am when Barney, bless him, wasn't expecting us – he was a quaint man from Germany – and he had a big heart for hummingbirds and his plants. We were welcomed and given a tour. The garden isn't too big but is perfect to watch where the birds go. We realised after 30-50 mins when others arrived that patience was a virtue. Several, approximately 4-6 others, showed, however, had no patience for nature and missed out on feeding these beautiful creatures. We got to feed them several times (not all caught on camera), which was incredible to see their colours and hear their sounds. We gathered they liked the colour red, as Barney wore red as were the sugar water bottles, so we used our incentive. Our good friend Emily brought us some croc-like purses, which we used to carry money. Luckily, mine was red and actually attracted them closer to us. We spent a good 2-3 hours at Barneys, and it was the most magical morning. Thank you, sir! Keep up the good work protecting these beautiful creatures.

Fantastic morning. Barney welcomed us in and gave us some information about the birds and a feeder. We saw lots of humming birds and got to hand feed a few. Lots of beautiful flowers and insects as well. Would recommend going early before the sun it too hot.

Barney has created a magical sanctuary for many birds and reptiles. It’s a quaint and quiet garden that will leave you with a deep appreciation for the flora and fauna of Jamaica.

Lovely spot with a natural garden and a delighted owner who clearly loves these birds. What a wonderful thing to be able to offer a safe space for these beautiful and endangered birds! Come to spend a couple of hours connecting with the birdies as Barney affectionately calls them, feed them birds from A little sugar bottle, chat to the friendly owner and relax !

This is by far the most affordable restaurant you will find possibly in the island at $400/$450 JMD for a whole breakfast meal and $350JMD plus for drinks . This is the place to be if you’re looking for a healthy meal made from freshly prepared fruits and veggies, a vegan or vegetarian meal, or simply to avoid the tourist trap and sample authentic Jamaican cuisine. Walk with cash in JMD as they don’t take card. Lovely service, natural garden scenery and very friendly service. The restaurant is located within nature as it is surrounded by a lot of trees and plants making the environment cool.

Just Natural is a true gem tucked just off the main strip in Negril’s West End. If you’re looking to step away from the touristy buzz along the cliffs and experience something authentic, wholesome, and fairly priced, this is the place. The atmosphere feels like a warm embrace—laid-back, inviting, and full of unique character that makes you want to linger. Everything here is made fresh, and the service is as genuine as it gets. The meal started with a complimentary bowl of soup and ended with a sweet little dessert treat, both thoughtful touches that made the experience feel extra special. The food itself was hearty, delicious, and rooted in local flavors. Portions were generous, and every dish carried that homemade touch you rarely find in tourist-heavy spots. If you want to taste “the real” side of Negril and enjoy a restaurant that feels like home, Just Natural is more than worth the stop. Highly recommended.

I’ve had breakfast here everyday for a week! Teresa is kind and welcoming, the garden is beautiful and shady, and the food is delicious (and affordable!). Sure, it’s not a fancy restaurant, but it’s authentic and local and it’s definitely somewhere you should eat if you’re in Negril. Recommend the Jamaican breakfast with fried plantain 🤌🏼

Beautiful restaurant tucked away in the neighborhood. We walked in & the owner was playing Anita Baker… immediately felt at home. The food was amazing & authentic jamaican cuisine. The homemade fresh juices were so refreshing; I recommend the soursop!! The vibes and atmosphere in the restaurant were gorgeous & lush with plants. If you’re in Negril this a must!!

Great food and service, very exceptional place. Theresa and her family make everything from scratch, using products mainly from their own garden. Very different vs. other restaurants and therefor a great experience. Value for money unbeatable!

A Hidden Gem with Rustic Charm & Delicious Local Flavors I visited Just Natural Restaurant on Tuesday, May 20, for a local breakfast, and it was a delightful experience. The food was simple yet delicious—I enjoyed the Akee and saltfish with callaloo, served with fried dumplings, a small side of mango and tomato, and a flavorful turmeric and ginger paste. The flavors were fresh and authentic, truly satisfying. The coffee was decent, though I did notice the cup could have been cleaned a bit better—a minor detail that could be improved. The ambiance is rustic and natural, with a warm, earthy vibe that makes you feel at ease. The expansive backyard adds to the relaxed atmosphere, making it a great spot to chill and vibe before heading to your next destination. What truly stood out was the warm hospitality. The hostess, Mother Teresa (as she’s affectionately called), was an absolute delight—bright, welcoming, and attentive. She greeted me warmly, ensured I was comfortable, and even bid me a proper goodbye. Overall, I highly recommend this establishment for anyone looking for authentic local flavors in a laid-back, nature-inspired setting. It’s a hidden gem worth visiting, whether for a quick bite or a relaxing pause in your day.

Just off of the main road was one of the greatest dining experiences we’ve ever had. We were greeted by two very friendly women. They told us about the food and gave us recommendations on favourite dishes. We placed our order and were instructed to walk the gardens behind the restaurant. The yard is an incredible tropical garden of plants, trees and flowers. Seating areas are scattered about the space making for intimate dining experiences. We played some Red Stripe bottle cap checkers while we waited for the food. Our fresh made juices were delivered first and they were so refreshing and delicious. Our food came shortly after and we were immediately blown away. Some of the most beautifully coloured fresh food we have ever seen. And it tasted just as good as it looked. The portion size was large and couldn’t believe how great the whole experience was. And the price for what you get is an absolute steal. Highly recommend!

By far the best beach in Jamaica. Clean, white sand beach. This is the only public entry point for the 7 mile beach. Safe parking spot. They accept USD for entry fees which is just 3 dollars per person. The only issue is that there are no restaurants within walking distance.

It's the public beach in Negril but there is a fee for adult and kids which affordable. Very well-kept Beach very clean changing room very clean showers and you can bring outside food in and they also have a restaurant.

It's a must that once you're in Negril and just want to chill with family and not surrounded by too much "touristy" places. LONG bay is a must. The water is very pristine, clear and really clean plus there are a few restaurants around if u wish to dine. You can get the very best sunset pics from here and the view is to die for. Ensure that you really can swim if you choose to go too far out as I dont believe there is a Lifeguard around. I might be wrong. But take your igloo, food and just chill under the jamaican sun. It's all about having a good vibe.

Attended Good Friday 2pm service. The humility in the priest welcome was evident. He went into details on the format & how the service would be conducted. So refreshing to experience so much grace & love.🙏🏾

Have made several trips to Jamaica, and I have attended both daily and Sunday Mass. I have been accepted by the ladies in community for Mass. BEWARE..... on Sunday at Mass a very petite little old lady will panhandle for money. I gave her about $9 one Sunday, and then she jumped into her Land Rover after Mass!! My next visit the following year, she tried to hustle me again. If she can afford to drive a Land Rover in Jamaica, she does not NEED the money. I refused to give her any money!! I prefer to largely tip my hotel maid or cook with children who are at the hotel at 0700-1700, and take two buses to get to work six days a week. The NEED is greater with them!!

The singing, sermon and service were great. The service lasted about an hour and 20 minutes, so allow extra time. No kneelers. The priest is a Francisan from Ohio, and tourists from all over the world joined the Jamacians.

Beautiful carved sculptures truly one of kind. Octavius loves what he does and that shines through in his art. I also loved his sisters paintings that he sells in his shop as well. Very talented family.

Been going to Negril for years and Octavius Art is always a Seven Mile Beach must stop to see the new wood carvings Octavius has created. His prices are fair and I always end up buying something for myself or as gifts! Octavius is a very talented artist (his dog busts are crazy good!) but also has a kind soul.

Octavius is magnet, kind, and so warm and this shows through in his beautiful hand-carved art. We were very glad to make the walk down the beach to see him, his little studio, and all the gorgeous pieces he had to offer. Wide assortment of ocean and nature imagery and fun pop culture figures like the grateful dead bears, etc. that all make incredible gifts or keepsakes.

These are the beautiful pieces that my sister and I have collected over the past few years. Octavius is such an amazing artist and so talented that he can do just about anything you ask for.

We had the great pleasure to meet Octavius on our Aug 2023 trip to Negril. His studio is next to the Negril Beach Club. Octavius is an artist and gentleman, who will enthusiastically reveal the origin of his carvings, and allow one to browse through the studio. My husband and I heard of his reputation for magnificent work, and we were not disappointed. He truly is a skilled artist. We purchased two pieces: a dolphins carving and a Rasta lady. Please see pictures from Negril, and the artwork displayed on our sofa. Will be glad to send photos once hung in our Florida/Caribbean room. There are so many carvings available in Negril. Octavius does the highest quality work, one that can be passed down through the generations. His studio is definitely a must, when you visit Negril.

The Bigboysfoodclub pulled up to Best In The West recommend by the staff at the hotel I was staying at. We arrived to restaurant, one of the staff came to our cabs with menus and explained what's on the menu we had 2 jerk chicken 1 Jerk pork and 1 fried chicken, which all came with rice dumplings and other side. The dishes were very full of flavour and pack to be the brim. We paid about 84 USD. My dishes were all pack full of flavour the chicken was tender and moist especially the fried chicken. I can tick of my bucket list having jerk in Jamaica. The portions are also definitely Bigboysfoodclub Approved hopefully if we return in Negril one day we will return. Also the service was fast and if locals wee there for their lunches ect you know it's legit, so KUDOS to Best In The West

What a hidden gem! The food here was incredibly authentic and absolutely delicious — every bite packed with rich, bold flavors that felt truly homemade. Portions were generous, and you could tell everything was made with love. It’s a charming roadside spot, filled with locals, which is always a great sign. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and everyone we met was so kind and friendly — it really added to the whole experience. A thoughtful touch: they even provided us with bug spray, which shows how much they care about their guests’ comfort. This place isn’t fancy, but it’s full of heart, flavor, and local charm. Can’t wait to come back!

We had the jerk chicken and jerk pork. Both were tender and juicy. The jerk sauce might be our favorite in Negril! The festivals and rice and peas were just okay. The entertainment was just silly but overall a good experience. Prices were a bit higher than expected but we have found this to be the case in general for the area.

Food is disgusting! No flavor, No seasoning. Not traditional jerk! Spent $40 on a 1/2 chicken and they tried to short me on a wing. Paid and left the food there. Rubbish! Best of what, NEVER!!!

I came here for supper, and it wasn't busy at all. One of my drivers recommended it. I had carbonara and garlic bread, and it was delicious. The service was great.

We drove in from another parish to celebrate my hubby’s birthday, and although our original spot didn’t work out, we couldn’t be happier with where we ended up! The ambiance was intimate and welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious, and the overall experience was top-tier. A special shoutout to our server, Britney, whose exceptional customer service truly made the evening unforgettable. She went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, even rearranging the furniture to provide extra support when the seating didn’t quite work for me. That kind of care makes all the difference! The wait time was reasonable, and the vibe was perfect for a cozy celebration. My only suggestion to management: consider keeping a few reserve chairs with added support for guests who may need them. The current seating is lovely, but a little flexibility would go a long way. We left with full hearts and full bellies—no regrets at all. Highly recommend!

We have visited Kenny's on several trips to JA. They never disappoint. The food is tasty, the drinks are good, and the vibe is excellent. The fans keep you cool and keep the bugs off your food. Our server has been amazing each time. She knows half our parties order as soon as she sees us. They have raspberry blended drinks and I haven't found them anywhere else here.

We attended for pizza! It was tasty, not amazing but tasty. The decor is good and surroundings are clean. Our waitress was pretty much get the job done with no smile until it came to clearing our plates and asking did we want the bill..she was cracking jokes and being all nice. She promised us a surprise from the chef which never came. Nice place but staff we met are not genuine.

Had the same ribs and jerked fries as I did the 1st time around. It was great. Tried the Molten lava cake with ice cream. Perfection! Bring your own bottled water cuz theirs is $6 and it can fill 2 glasses 1 time comfortably.

Had an amazing lunch here! I love the vibes amd the atmosphere. It is right on seven mile beach. There is indoor or outdoor seating and I love how it is decorated. The staff was great amd made us feel very welcome. They took great care of us. The food here is also amazing and one of my favorite things is the Jerk Corn. It is soo good. It is one of many things that keep me coming back!!

Enjoyed a delicious, top quality breakfast here. Nothing missed- from the welcoming staff and server to each bite off of our plates. The banana bread was some of the best I’ve ever had, luscious and flavorful, and went well with the iced blue mountain coffee. I already want to come back here and sip watermelon juice while staring out at the ocean. So glad our driver recommended it.

Just Amazing, everything we have eaten, the service, the setting, has been Amazing. We have eaten here 6 times within our 14 day vacation and each time has been just as good as the last. We have tried most things on the menu but the highlights have got to be the Jerk Corn, the Snapper Curry (this was a Monday night special), the Oxtail and the Snapper fillet oh and the Jerk Salmon and the….. I could go on you get the picture. The staff were all knowledgeable and friendly , they were helpful and took the time to chat. Oh and don’t forget watching the sunsets from here ……. They are Beautiful. Big shout out to Miss Lilys the best place we have eaten at in 3 years visiting Negril. Can’t wait to come back.

No trip to Negril is complete without at least one breakfast at Canoe Bar. The Caramelized Banana French Toast is 👏 to 👏 die 👏 for!! I'm also a big fan of the home fries. They have an awesome view of the sea and it's located right on a beach you can swim and snorkel at. There is a shower as well. They have free wifi and a lounge area too. Couldn't recommend more.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! Every time I go to Negril (which isn’t often enough) I make it a point to visit. I love the simplicity of the menu, it’s just good food. They also do solid cocktails. I like to go before sunset that way I can enjoy the tranquil beach views. It definitely feels like island living every time I go!

I’ve eaten breakfast here in the past which was always good and they’re French press coffee is great, but after reading a few positive reviews about their newly added pizza menu decided to try it. It was very disappointing unfortunately.Not edible. Burnt and hard crust. Would mot recommend . ($2,300 jmd for small 12”)

Canoe was my absolute favorite restaurant during my stay in Negril. It’s very affordable and has the most delicious tacos and quesadillas. The staff is super friendly, and the location is stunning with a beautiful view of the sea. If I ever come back to Negril, I will definitely eat at Canoe again!

The host of New Moon Cottages where we stayed recommended this restaurant. My family and I had curry goat and it was delicious. Not oily and full of flavor and tender. The portion was good and nice and chill atmosphere. The owner was super nice and welcoming. He even said we could call him and request a meal and he would have it ready.

I was starving and had heard Chicken Lavish was good. It turned out to be great! A terrific roadside spot serving up big plates of really great eats. Personally I thought the original chop was going to be dry but it was as moist and perfect as any high end spot. The drinks are all made with fresh fruit and service was friendly. This place is fantastic! I ordered the curried goat with rice. It was outstanding…so tender and full of flavor with just the right amount of spice. Husband ordered the brown stew chicken and kids ordered the regular chicken…all extremely delicious! Owner and Staff very welcoming and friendly. We might have to return here again before our vacation ends.

Great place for delivery! We ordered curry chicken and jerk chicken. Both were quite good. The jerk chicken was spicy but we liked it that way. It didn’t take long to deliver from the west end to Point village. Highly recommend and the price was quite reasonable.

Chicken Lavish ... The name describes the Chicken perfectly. In addition to the traditional Jamaican dishes served with perfection, the flash fried chicken, their specialty, comes out always crispy and delicious! Prices will suit those on a budget and the clean modest decor will leaves diners respecting a Negril West End establishment that has been there for decades ... I have been coming here for 30 years. I stayed in an airbnb in this complex. It's been under renovations for quite a while, hopefully, it will be back to its former glory soon. In theory, the location is great -- right between the West End cliffs and 7 mile beach, right on the shore. In reality, the whole neighborhood around is pretty run-down and the walk to 7 mile beach is unpleasant and possibly even unsafe. Being on the shore is not very useful as there isn't a convenient spot for getting into the water (and I don't mind rocks at all). We still tried it and regretted as the water was dirty. Positives: a large parking lot. A supermarket next door. There is also one being built in the complex, looks like it will be nice. Also, I very much appreciated getting help from the center manager. My luggage was lost and Air Canada delivered it a few days later. They needed a local phone number as for some reason they couldn't use whatsapp, and the manager helped me serving as a proxy, letting me know that the delivery folks are coming. To me, this was the main positive thing about the complex.

I patronized the ice cream shop located within the Sunshine Village. The shop sells a variety of non dairy “ice creams”. I ordered the coconut vanilla flavour which was delicious. My server was very courteous and professional. One has the option of either having the ice cream in a cone or cup. In addition, there are a selection of toppings available to add to your ice cream. I would definitely patronize this shop again.

My stay for 2 days was great, but the my Airbnb was so much smaller then the pictures advertised. Clean and very hot, they need to have the air conditioning on for the next guest. No complaints, very small, 2 people and keep the air conditioning ON! The sleeping quarters was stiffing hot, air conditioning should be on for next quest

We had a fantastic day with Capt Jace and his team. Our guide on the reef was very good and interesting, shown us a lot of sea life we would have missed without his advice. Lunch on Booby cay was delicious and copious, probably the best lobster I ever had. We had fun with the other guests and the crew and learned a lot about the area and culture. I strongly recommend.

It was fantastic tour with Captain Jace; totally as expected enjoyable and very satisfied experience of snorkelling and boat riding. People who are interested to do such activity at Negril, have to must visit Captain Jace. He was very good at communications and the ride was on time. His boat was also cleaned and maintained with relative equipments. Would recommend to see him for such activities!

Captain Jace was so kind and answered me after hours to book my family for a glass bottom boat reef tour. Demoy and Tippy were our guide and captain and they were so fun! It was our first time snorkeling and we are so happy we choose Captain Jace's crew. They were amazing! The snorkeling was a phenomenal experience and Demoy showed us some wonderful animals and views plus the cannon and anchor. It was the highlight of our trip. Thank you for making it so great!

Great experience! Our little one REALLY enjoyed himself and so did we! We caught lots of fish and were able to take it back to our resort where they prepared it for us. Boat captain and partner were experienced and knowledgeable fisherman, with all safety precautions taken (life vests and all). Don’t hesitate to book with them!

Our catch today with PlayStation... I can't explain it... It was the best finishing 🎣 trip I ever had! We caught this 70lb blue Marin, and then we finished our fishing trip by cooling off at the Pirates cave for snorkeling🥰😎 We highly recommend Howies PlayStation fishing excursion Negril Jamaica 🇯🇲 👌🏿

I always try the visit when I'm in Negril. It's also always busy. The food is SO GOOD & AFFORDABLE. I can't say that the staff is too friendly or explanatory. If you're a foreigner, know how to speak up and be firm as there are typically solicitors out trying to sell...! Also, there are tables across the street where you can sit, eat & enjoy the Caribbean Sea.

A delicious Curried Goat👌🏾no picture just believe it! Too bad the fried chicken had sauce on it but still tasty and the 3rd side chicken soup (medium) was just giant!!

We dined in this place back in 2018 and couldn't remember the exact location bec we just pass by from ricks cafe going back to montego bay with our personal driver recommends. A few days ago after going to scotia bank, the streets seems familiar and voila the corner bar was the restaurant we we're looking for. Their price never changed, same brown stew i ordered five years ago, we ordered jerk chicken as well and it's a must stop by restaurant. Locals dine in here and it's very busy so you know it's good and authentic. A large brown stew chicken costs $750JMD /$5USD for lunch you can't beat that. At the resort restaurant this will cost you $15-20.

The most authentic Jamaican experience. Fried chicken and jerk were great. Very Jamaican style for daily local frequenter. Is very common in Jamaica to take the order to take away no service at the table. People here are very shy. Never disturb you. Love it

The food is wholesome, fresh and delicious. The menu is limited but what they do have is fantastic. They start serving breakfast at 9am but get there quick (before 930am) coz it finishes so fast. The ackee and salt fish is amazing and it keeps you full until dinner. For lunch / dinner they have chicken and if you want the curry goat, don't look for it before 1pm (oh, and that's another one that finishes fast). There is a bar adjacent so if you want a drink, it's not far to go. You order your food at the window outside then you take your ticket in and wait for your number to be called. Really good as-close-to-home-cooking as you could expect. Accross the street they also have tables and chairs overlooking the beautiful ocean.

Great little bar in downtown Negril. Friendly staff and customers. Had a few red stripes and smoked a couple of joints with the locals just across the road, sat right by the sea. The place does good fast food to go also, very popular with the locals and is priced very well. We had their fried chicken and was very good indeed. Well worth dropping by if you're a visitor to Negril and you'll be made to feel at home.

This is my second time coming here and the food was just as good as the first time. Found this place by happenstance the 1st time, but never thought I'd be back again. But I did and will be back again. The scenery, atmosphere, especially the food were all excellent.

Excellent, excellent, excellent. Not much to comment on. It was excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. The chef is the boss. The meals are consistent. I have eaten there twice now and both occasions have been excellent. I will be back.

All the meals I had at Blue Mahoe were consistently delicious! Breakfast, lunch and dinner were tasteful each day. Lateisha and Alison were pleasant servers and gave great customer service. You can choose to dine in or takeout. Lovely ambiance and beautiful sights next to the ocean.

We stayed in West End and enjoyed both breakfast and dinner here. My husband loved his Eggs Benedict. My fruit plate was huge and fresh. I just had a Caprese style salad and coconut shrimp appetizer for dinner which were both tasty and my husband had the Scotch Bonnet Curried Chicken which he said was fabulous however he jokingly told the Chef afterwards that he could have taken more heat. The service at Blue Mahoe is fantastic....top notch. It's very clean. The atmosphere is wonderful. At dinner you sit right beside the stone wall oceanside and get to witness amazing sunsets. We planned on one more breakfast before we left but sadly didn't make it. I recommended Blue Mahoe to another couple at our hotel and when we saw them again they thanked me and said they loved it too!

Dined as two couples. Nice dining on the water. Beautiful sunset dinner. Had some good cocktails. Had the filet and it was pretty good. My husband has a jerk sampler and said it was the best food he has had on the island so far. The other couple has the snapper and the jerk chicken. They said the jerk chicken was the best they had so far. Service was good, but definitely on island time.

The Blue Mahoe just opened, we were a bit hesitant going since there were no reviews but it was worth the gamble! The food tasted southern homestyle. I would recommend for sure getting a side of pancakes and an iced coffee! Everything is priced fairly too which is a plus. The staff was so nice, special thanks to Aaliyah for being so kind and hilarious! Dog friendly!

You have to start with really good people, and they have hired the best! Then you train them well. This team had been prepared to be top-class service on any cruise line, resort etc at an international level! Natasha was our server and she timed her attentiveness perfectly. Always smiling and gracious. When we complimented the chef on his preparation of Escovitch Snapper, she summoned Dison to our table. He visited with us for a few minutes and was very engaging as we spoke about how he made various dishes. Then the new manager Tyrone asked how the team was doing and engaged very well. As we were leaving we got a quick chat with Everett, who made us laugh! I wrote down all the names since I was so impressed by each and every team member! Now let me talk about the meal. The Escovich fish is now the best we have had in Negril ( and we have been there a LOT) The Caesar salad was superbly fresh, and we loved their house-made dressing. Bottom line- best restaurant we have been to in Negril! Bravo!
