Jamaican restaurant
Located in Sav, Sweet Spice Restaurant offers a laid-back atmosphere and generous portions of local dishes. While the food is consistently well-seasoned and flavorful, some visitors feel that the menu could use more variety. The decor creates a unique dining experience reminiscent of being on a pirate ship. Despite the need for some updates, the overall ambiance is enjoyable. The staff provides good customer service, and prices are reasonable. However, be prepared for a relaxed dining experience with potential wait times for your meal.
We are from US, wanted to go to a local restaurant to taste the local cuisine. The place was super clean and nice, very welcoming stuff and great service. We have not waited for long to get our food and they have fresh juices they make themselves. I tried the carrots and beets juice and the taste is unforgettable. We saw a few tourists there as well, so I understand this place is well known among the tourists. In general great experience, no rip off. And the pictures you see in the previous reviews are not relevant. Seems like the restaurant was completely renovated

This seemed like a higher end restaurant for locals in Negril. Don’t expect to find tourists here. Great local cuisine with vegetarian options and really good service. I would totally recommend this spot if you’re looking for a local food experience with quality, quantity and ambience.
Neha P — Google review
Always a pleasure eating here. The food is consistently good and the service is wonderful as well. Great owner's and great location. A trip to Jamaica isn't complete without a meal at Sweet Spice
Robert L — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Authentic Jamaican flavor and warm local charm! Sweet Spice is hands down one of the best dining experiences I had in Negril! From the moment I walked in, the smell of home-cooked Jamaican food filled the air — and I knew I was in for something special. The place has a relaxed, local vibe that makes you feel welcome right away. I ordered the curry goat and oxtail — both were absolutely delicious, tender, and packed with authentic island flavor. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and every bite tastes like it’s made with love. The service was friendly and genuine, and even though the restaurant was busy, everything came out fresh and hot. Sweet Spice is a perfect example of what makes Jamaican food so amazing — simple, hearty dishes done right. If you’re visiting Negril, this spot is a must! Don’t be fooled by its humble look — it’s where the locals eat, and that says it all. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in Jamaica.
Samuel C — Google review
Very good customer service, my expectations for taste of foods was not there ,specially for fried rice but price is very reasonable and not expensive. there was no much crowd for dine in but I noticed that big waiting line for takeaway. Location also perfect, no issues with parking, we had enough parking spaces. Don’t expect indian foods or that taste from this restaurant.
Asitha H — Google review
The food was amazing and the service was wonderful!! They bring you a soup before your order, and OMG, it is delicious!! All 6 of us absolutely enjoyed our meal! If we had more time, we would have returned!!
Tatiana P — Google review
Great stuff here. Straight to the point deliciousness. Had the oxtail and the curry chicken. Both great. Good pricing as well. Had some fresh fruit drinks on the side as well. Complimentary chicken soup to start really gets you rev’d up with its spicy kick.
G D — Google review
Dare to go off the beaten track to eat delicious food and dine with and like the locals. This place is super cool. I love the vibe and space. Service was fabulous and very friendly and also quick with hot food. Drinks are fun and many natural. The food is delicious with generous portions. So do give it a try. Bar
Canoe Beach Bar & Grill is a popular spot in Negril, offering a delightful dining experience by the beach. The restaurant prides itself on serving fresh, locally sourced food without any preservatives or monosodium glutamate. With its prime location right on the beautiful beach, it provides a fantastic setting for enjoying delicious meals and refreshing drinks while soaking up the sun and listening to music. Visitors can expect friendly staff and an overall great experience at this beachside establishment.
Pretty decent food, I had the Devil Burger. It's spicy, but not too much. The pineapple helps! The fries were the best, homemade and hot! Even better than what we get back home. The service was quick.
Marc B — Google review
very nice place to eat, we had Jamaican breakfast and eggs with callaloo, very tasty, freshly made, friendly staff, highly recommended
Pascale V — Google review
No trip to Negril is complete without at least one breakfast at Canoe Bar. The Caramelized Banana French Toast is 👏 to 👏 die 👏 for!! I'm also a big fan of the home fries. They have an awesome view of the sea and it's located right on a beach you can swim and snorkel at. There is a shower as well. They have free wifi and a lounge area too. Couldn't recommend more.
Kristine S — Google review
Unbelievably good food and reasonable prices. Excellent service too! Nice little beach, great spot to chill out and enjoy a cold drink!
David V — Google review
I absolutely adore this restaurant! Every time I go to Negril (which isn’t often enough) I make it a point to visit. I love the simplicity of the menu, it’s just good food. They also do solid cocktails. I like to go before sunset that way I can enjoy the tranquil beach views. It definitely feels like island living every time I go!
Laura C — Google review
I’ve eaten breakfast here in the past which was always good and they’re French press coffee is great, but after reading a few positive reviews about their newly added pizza menu decided to try it. It was very disappointing unfortunately. Not edible. Burnt and hard crust. Would mot recommend . ($2,300 jmd for small 12”)

Canoe was my absolute favorite restaurant during my stay in Negril. It’s very affordable and has the most delicious tacos and quesadillas. The staff is super friendly, and the location is stunning with a beautiful view of the sea. If I ever come back to Negril, I will definitely eat at Canoe again!

Restaurant
The Lodge Restaurant at Tensing Pen Hotel offers a delightful dining experience with stunning views of the cliffside. The staff provides excellent service and the meals are generally enjoyable, with standout dishes like the seafood run down and French toast for breakfast. The ambiance exudes high-class lounge vibes with reasonable pricing, making it perfect for various occasions from private dinners to special celebrations.
The Lodge Restaurant is an absolutely beautiful setting especially for dinner, on the cliffs overlooking the ocean and the picturesque hammock hut. The staff is so friendly and makes you feel right at home. The atmosphere is relaxed, never snobby, yet you can either dress more up or more down and fit in either way. Portions are generous and food is tasty. But if you *really* want to enjoy this place, you must STAY at Tensing Pen and not just enjoy their restaurant. We've been coming for years and always return to this spot because it is the perfect combination of rustic and luxury (think outdoor showers, thatched roofs, and no TVs or phones, but with high-end linens, great beds, and A/C), it's always so chill, it's a breathtakingly gorgeous and well-kept property. You can keep more to yourself or enjoy meeting new people, which we love. Tensing Pen does a great job at attracting relaxed, heartful, down-to-earth travelers who simply enjoy great taste, comfort, and beautiful aesthetics. And the people who work there are so warm, so open-hearted, you'll never forget the One Love feeling emanating from every single person there. A MUST STAY!
Lisa B — Google review
Over the last 20 years we keep returning to Tensing Pen, as often as we possibly can. It is the most beautiful and relaxing place to stay. You can't beat South Pillar for the comfort, the view of sunsets, dolphins and the diving bridge. The food is so good we never go out to eat anywhere else. And the people - so kind and welcoming.
Katrin S — Google review
Truly relaxing with a wonderful staff—Tensing Pen is the perfect escape. Don’t come with a packed agenda; just unwind. Bring a few books, sip cocktails, enjoy delicious food, and take a swim. We loved trying the restaurants across the street, especially Rick’s Cafe (the cliff divers are wild!) and even the lively bar next door—yes, even with "Happy Birthday" playing 50 times a night. Tensing Pen for the win.
Chris R — Google review
Tensing Pen was one of the best resorts I've ever had the pleasure of staying at!! The food, every meal was fabulous! Fresh and homemade and delicious and beautifully served! Diving off the cliffs was exciting and the water was gorgeous ! So cool to be able to snorkel right at the resort. The rooms were stunning and comfortable. Privacy for everyone and easy to get together for our group!! I will be planning another trip!! Thank you 🙏
Drlnunno — Google review
The food and drinks at the Tensing Pen restaurant were phenomenal. Not to mention the service. My favorite dish was the Escovich Snapper and Razor kept my Dark and Stormies coming. Can’t wait to go back.

We were married ten years ago at Tensing Pen for a private ceremony. Finally ten years later we were able to stay for a quick trip to celebrate our anniversary and we sure enjoyed relaxing with some adventure by the sea. Everyone there was super friendly and we felt right at home. We can’t wait to go back one day. The food was exceptional and we loved the feel of seclusion in the gardens. Also the dogs were a bonus. Yoga was awesome! She really made our day on our anniversary. And the seaside massages omy Jah amazing!!! Thank you so much to our Tensing Pen family can’t wait to see you all again! Special shoutout to Randall at the Lodge and Nikolai lifeguard for giving us that extra attention and going out of your way to be so nice! Countless other friendly people to name too. One love!
Chelsea J — Google review
Tensing Pen is an absolute gem! The views are breathtaking, the cottages are cozy and unique, and the staff treats you like family. Perfect spot for a peaceful getaway or romantic trip. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and watching the sunset from the cliffs was pure magic. We're already counting down the days to go back!
Colleen F — Google review
The sunset view was amazing! Their customer service was top tier because I didn’t notice it said reservations needed and when we got there the staff still accommodated us. My server was very pleasant and attentive. They served the food in good sized portions and it was delicious. I would highly recommend anyone to go there.

Jamaican restaurant
Kool Vybes Bar And Jerk Center is a popular spot for both tourists and locals, offering authentic Jamaican cuisine with original ingredients and flavors. The jerk chicken and pineapple slaw are highly recommended, with the owner being praised for friendliness. The place is well-maintained, clean, and staffed by welcoming individuals. Diners have enjoyed dishes like jerk chicken, curry goat with rice and veggies, as well as strong rum punch perfect for a hot summer day.
This place is amazing. Every single local I asked for a recommendation said Kool Vybes and get the pineapple slaw! It was worth a trip just for that, but I did get the brown stew chicken as well. Can you say fall off the bone tender and tasty😋 I got a to-go order and the plates were heavy! The owner came over and spoke while I was drinking my Red Stripe and waiting for my order and he is definitely good people.
Cadi S — Google review
Service/customer service was top notch, servers and cooks were very welcoming and kind. The food wasn’t the best I had on the island. Chicken and fish was a bit dry but rice and cabbage was very tasty. Night time has mosquitoes but the restaurant provided bug spray.
Ling L — Google review
We love Kool Vybes! It’s a restaurant we dream about back home and make it a point to visit each time. The jerk pork and chicken are always tasty and delicious. The curry chicken is my favorite in town. Their pineapple cole slaw is the perfect pair to any spicy food. Servers are always kind and accommodating. Thank you for continued delicious food!
Jasmine R — Google review
First spot in Negril reviewed, I had to as the jerk chicken was just out of this world, and pineapple slaw while sweet was simply scrumptious. It is worth going outside the western resorts to get a taste of local flavor!
Lee — Google review
We came here for a late lunch. The place is very well maintained and clean. Staff is very nice and welcoming. We ordered the 1/2 jerk chicken with salad, plantains, and curry goat with rice and veggie. We got the rum punch as well which was very strong but perfect for hot summer day! All the food tasted very flavorful and they cook it all right then. So it’s very fresh. Pricing is very reasonable too. The jerk sauce is pretty spicy but also super flavorful. We even bought a bottle to take back home with us. Highly recommend if you are in the area!
Reshma P — Google review
Atmosphere is clean and fun. I got the garlic shrimp it is served with rice a veggies. Dh got spicy garlic shrimp it’s spicy d/t scotch bonnet peppers 🔥 we will back!
Misty B — Google review
According to some locals in Negril, Kool Vybes Bar and Jerk Centre does the best jerk sauce in the city. After hearing such recommendations we had to give it a try, and the locals were absolutely right! The jerk sauce here was extremely tasty and the spice from the sauce really does hit you - beware it is a little bit spicy so if you like spice definitely pour a good portion alongside your meal. We ordered 1/2 jerk chicken with rice and peas together with festivals which was delicious. If you live in this side of town, or are around Rick’s cafe then definitely worth a visit!
彭權 — Google review
Great jerk chicken that lives up to the hype. Don't sleep on getting the pineapple coleslaw and plantains! They are the perfect sides to pair with the chicken. A+

Fast delivery of authentic Jamaican food at reasonable prices. Owner was very kind and helpful on the phone. Highly recommend the goat curry!

The host of New Moon Cottages where we stayed recommended this restaurant. My family and I had curry goat and it was delicious. Not oily and full of flavor and tender. The portion was good and nice and chill atmosphere. The owner was super nice and welcoming. He even said we could call him and request a meal and he would have it ready.
Elizabeth B — Google review
I was starving and had heard Chicken Lavish was good. It turned out to be great! A terrific roadside spot serving up big plates of really great eats. Personally I thought the original chop was going to be dry but it was as moist and perfect as any high end spot. The drinks are all made with fresh fruit and service was friendly. I would happily return here every time o visit Negril. Please follow @joannasable on instagram

This place was wonderful. Clean, friendly staff and delicious food. Very generous portions and so reasonably priced. My husband had the fried chicken with rice and peas and I had the curry goat and we shared. Both were amazing washed down with cold Red Stripes
Donna B — Google review
This place is fantastic! I ordered the curried goat with rice. It was outstanding…so tender and full of flavor with just the right amount of spice. Husband ordered the brown stew chicken and kids ordered the regular chicken…all extremely delicious! Owner and Staff very welcoming and friendly. We might have to return here again before our vacation ends.
Dayna M — Google review
First time eating steamed fish. It was amazing. 10/10 definitely recommend. Great service as well. Note to travelers they do not accept card. Brings cash. JMD preferably but I was able to pay in USD.
Mz L — Google review
Great place for delivery! We ordered curry chicken and jerk chicken. Both were quite good. The jerk chicken was spicy but we liked it that way. It didn’t take long to deliver from the west end to Point village. Highly recommend and the price was quite reasonable.
Guy L — Google review
Chicken Lavish ... The name describes the Chicken perfectly. In addition to the traditional Jamaican dishes served with perfection, the flash fried chicken, their specialty, comes out always crispy and delicious! Prices will suit those on a budget and the clean modest decor will leaves diners respecting a Negril West End establishment that has been there for decades ... I have been coming here for 30 years. Cheers! JMAC

Ivan's Bar and Restaurant in Negril, Jamaica, is named after the Hurricane Ivan that spared the area in 2004. The restaurant offers a modern twist on Jamaican cuisine and provides a scenic dining experience with open-sided thatched roofs and private tables near the cliff's edge, perfect for romantic meals under the stars. Visitors praise the beautiful views, delicious food, excellent service, and unique vibe of the place.
We loved our experience here. The pineapple snapper was the best bite I had my whole trip. We also really loved both shrimp appetizers, and the soup upon welcome was amazing. While we didn’t have a reservation (highly recommend one esp during peak season) they sat us at a beautiful table overlooking the water. Our server and the bartender were both friendly. The atmosphere is amazing, and as the sun sets they have lights strung throughout. The property welcomes you with a cute garden area you walk through and there is a small parking lot on site.

What can I say this place is amazing, amazing , amazing. The food is awesome the staff is always on point and great you with a smile and the view, wow 100 out of 10. We have been coming here for years. We have stayed at the resort this is located in before however most of the times we are staying at an all inclusive and still chose every year to come for dinner. We always call or email before our trip and make reservations. Ivan's will send a driver to pick you up at your hotel and bring you back. We are always taken care of and just love the food.

Our favorite meal of our vacation, absolutely incredible! Had a sunset dinner with better views and lower prices than Rick's next door. So awesome! Highly recommend! Kid friendly and they have parking and nice bathrooms and Wi-Fi

Eating at Ivan’s was a wonderful experience! The staff made us feel well taken care of, and everyone was so kind. And the food? Absolutely delicious. The only downside was the wait time, so be prepared to wait a bit for your meal. But once the food arrives, the flavor makes it worth it. Special shoutout to Paul, who was especially pleasant and helpful. I’d definitely recommend Ivan’s to anyone visiting Negril!

The best place to eat in Negril!! My friend and I stayed at Catcha Falling Star and ate at Ivan's 3 times during our stay. The food was phenomenal every single time! All the servers were awesome! The view was extraordinary also!

We had a wonderful dinner at Ivan’s while in Negril last week. The setting is absolutely beautiful — right on the cliffs with incredible ocean views, especially at sunset. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. The food was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was warm and attentive. Overall, Ivan’s was one of the highlights of our trip to Jamaica. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for great food, amazing views, and a true taste of Negril hospitality

The atmosphere of this place is incredible. A beautiful getaway in a little piece of paradise. We were here for dinner during sunset, awesome view. The food was delicious, we had jerk and coconut shrimp, the seafood pasta and the whole red snapper. Everything tastes very good and fresh, I just wish the Escovitch was spicier and more flavorful. Our server Vivienne was fantastic aswell. Overall a memorable evening, definately recommend!

I had the pleasure of coming back to Ivan’s. The place is still great. Coconut shrimp is still very good. The wine selection is good. I had the rosé from chile. Our server Miriam was courteous n nice. It was a busy birthday night. I heard the birthday song like 10x tonight. The sunset is amazing. Great ambience. You can see Ricks café right behind the restaurant. So you know the sunset will be equally amazing as Rick’s café.

Guests can enjoy drinks while watching the sunset over the sea, accompanied by live music. The menu features rich and unique flavors, including excellent seafood options like escovitch fish and lobster.
2 friends and I had the most lovely dinner at Ocean Cliff Hotel Negril, Jamaica in the Blue Mahoe Restaurant 💃🏾 West end Negril tonight and we rate it highly! 🤩 I had some of the best the curried shrimp with mash and veg ever, Susan had the jerk chicken fettuccine and Christine had the snapper fillet perfectly seasoned and grilled with mash and veg. Wow! Great service, great vibes, fabulous food at a very very reasonable and competitive price. The place is clean and gorgeous so when you go check it out, tell Heather the manager that Robin Banks sent you! ❤️ Don't forget to enjoy the pum pum bread 🤠

This is my second time coming here and the food was just as good as the first time. Found this place by happenstance the 1st time, but never thought I'd be back again. But I did and will be back again. The scenery, atmosphere, especially the food were all excellent.

Excellent, excellent, excellent. Not much to comment on. It was excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. The chef is the boss. The meals are consistent. I have eaten there twice now and both occasions have been excellent. I will be back.

All the meals I had at Blue Mahoe were consistently delicious! Breakfast, lunch and dinner were tasteful each day. Lateisha and Alison were pleasant servers and gave great customer service. You can choose to dine in or takeout. Lovely ambiance and beautiful sights next to the ocean.
Kimberly T — Google review
We stayed in West End and enjoyed both breakfast and dinner here. My husband loved his Eggs Benedict. My fruit plate was huge and fresh. I just had a Caprese style salad and coconut shrimp appetizer for dinner which were both tasty and my husband had the Scotch Bonnet Curried Chicken which he said was fabulous however he jokingly told the Chef afterwards that he could have taken more heat. The service at Blue Mahoe is fantastic....top notch. It's very clean. The atmosphere is wonderful. At dinner you sit right beside the stone wall oceanside and get to witness amazing sunsets. We planned on one more breakfast before we left but sadly didn't make it. I recommended Blue Mahoe to another couple at our hotel and when we saw them again they thanked me and said they loved it too!
Leila S — Google review
Dined as two couples. Nice dining on the water. Beautiful sunset dinner. Had some good cocktails. Had the filet and it was pretty good. My husband has a jerk sampler and said it was the best food he has had on the island so far. The other couple has the snapper and the jerk chicken. They said the jerk chicken was the best they had so far. Service was good, but definitely on island time.
Jessica G — Google review
The Blue Mahoe just opened, we were a bit hesitant going since there were no reviews but it was worth the gamble! The food tasted southern homestyle. I would recommend for sure getting a side of pancakes and an iced coffee! Everything is priced fairly too which is a plus. The staff was so nice, special thanks to Aaliyah for being so kind and hilarious! Dog friendly!
Katelyn C — Google review
You have to start with really good people, and they have hired the best! Then you train them well. This team had been prepared to be top-class service on any cruise line, resort etc at an international level! Natasha was our server and she timed her attentiveness perfectly. Always smiling and gracious. When we complimented the chef on his preparation of Escovitch Snapper, she summoned Dison to our table. He visited with us for a few minutes and was very engaging as we spoke about how he made various dishes. Then the new manager Tyrone asked how the team was doing and engaged very well. As we were leaving we got a quick chat with Everett, who made us laugh! I wrote down all the names since I was so impressed by each and every team member! Now let me talk about the meal. The Escovich fish is now the best we have had in Negril ( and we have been there a LOT) The Caesar salad was superbly fresh, and we loved their house-made dressing. Restaurant
LTU Cliff Bar and Restaurant is a locally-styled dining spot located on the edge of a cliff near Negril's famous Ricks. The menu offers a wide range of high-quality dishes, including vegetarian options and fresh catches like Marlin, Kingfish, and Mahi mahi. Visitors praise the friendly service and recommend trying the stewed pork and conch stir fry. The restaurant also boasts amazing views, making it an ideal alternative to nearby touristy spots like Ricks Cafe.
Went here for the first time, last night, for supper. For years, we have gone to Rick's grill right next door and I've never just gone The extra two hundred yards to find this place. A great view and Great vibe. A smaller version of ricks grill but with much better food. Service was a little slow, but on the other hand we can't complain because everything appears to be made to order and was very fresh. The only drawback was that they allowed smoking while we were trying to enjoy our dinner. Some people have no respect for other people.
CM M — Google review
The atmosphere was lovely! Beautiful location. Beautiful view and great setup. The service was okay… we went an hour before closing, so I can imagine it was the end of a long day/shift for staff. I was looking at the menu and some tourists walked in, and the waitress asked me for the menu… I then asked the bartender for another menu and she told me to just look at the board… yet the other waitress had just told the tourists that it wasn’t the right menu…? So I wasn’t sure how as a paying customer, I wasn’t to have that same right? Or if there was only one menu? So that kinda threw me off. The service we received was JUST okay. As for the food, we got the chicken pizza with pineapple added, and the salami pizza with pineapple added again. Considering the fact that we spent just about $7,500 for 2 small sized pizzas (they’re all one size- small… could pass for a medium in some places), as the USD conversion was at $150, we expected far more than we received. Not very impressed at all. But the food was prepared quite quickly, and if you’re dining in, it’s a lovely spot.

Super chill place. Sat at the bar with my wife and friends and enjoys the sunset. Had some really good drinks served up by Opal herself and had a really good perk sausage pizza.
Brian B — Google review
The pizza here lives up to the hype, quick and efficient service(especially dealing with huge group), hot and delicious food and very clean bathrooms. Tight bar area/standing room only when busy, beautiful view to ocean off cliffs
Shannon R — Google review
We can up on this place by chance , and had a wonderful unexpected surprise. Restaurant owners are friendly and let you feel at home. The food and drinks are fantastic , and the views are out of this world. Can't wait to return next year.
Sharon B — Google review
The food is so good you nearly forget the absolutely stunning view. Nearly... We had such a miserable experience at the famous (overpriced) Rick's Cafe that we were pleasantly surprised by the gem next door. I highly recommend the lobster pizza, but we also really enjoyed their coconut shrimp and stuffed fish also. We loved it so much we visited 3 times in 2 days!
Alison D — Google review
Beautiful views daytime views from every seat. Side room had a women's boutique items on 2 racks plus streaming sports on a tv. We ate here twice during daytime hours. Pizza and beers were a nice appetizer. Beers cool, but not cold. Unfortunately, grilled lobster was overcooked for our taste. Sauces/butter helped, and staff was apologetic.
Amy E — Google review
We had breakfast and dinner here as it was close to where we were staying. The food is not bad here it is decent but nothing to rave about I would give the food 4 stars but the service from our experience was not the best. Jamaica is naturally a laid back experience so most places take their time which is fine but upon arriving it felt like we were bothering/not wanted by workers. Our second time was better but still not the best. For better food and service I would go to a more local spot. This place does however have a very beautiful lookout into the ocean with great views.

Dru's Bar & Grill in Negril is a must-visit for food enthusiasts. Dru, the owner, is known for serving some of the best dishes in town, from chicken patties to coconut chicken and garlic shrimp pasta. His homemade patties are particularly popular, with a thick and flavorful filling that sets them apart from others in the area. The bar and grill also offers a great chill-out spot with privacy and an ocean view.
It was a small unassuming bar along the beach. Stopped in for a quick drink and ended up going back every day! Johnny B Good was the best bartender. He was so nice and made us feel like we were at home. The patties...best patties I have ever had. No joke! We went back several times during our trip just to get patties. This is a hidden gem along the beach and cannot be missed.
Tish Y — Google review
Dru has the BEST made to order gourmet patties. I dream of these when I am not in Jamaica. These are a must try! I really like the ground beef patty but the chicken is also good. He said his best selling patty is his lobster patty. There are also veggie options- a veggie one and a vegetarian Italian one. There is also a non vegetarian Italian patty that is spicy sausage, mozzarella cheese and herbs. He also sells his delicious ginger jerk sauce. He has comfortable seating and lounge beds. Part of the restaurant is covered and part is in the sun which is really nice to have options. Dru is a super warm and kind person and makes killer food and strong drinks. I can't recommend him and his restaurant enough!
Kristine S — Google review
Our first time to Dru’s on the beach. Been wanting to try his pattys for the longest time, and finally made it. Dru is a very nice guy, and the patty’s were excellent! The sauce is the real gem, will be taking a bottle home. I had the jerk chicken patty, wife had the lobster patty. Including a Pepsi the bill was $2300j. Hit him up for a truly homemade patty, on the beach between Beach Club Condo’s and The Beach House.
Lexie D — Google review
From patties to jerk chicken and everything in between, Dru has some of THEE best food in Negril, periodt! He will literally make you anything you want as long as you provide a day or two notice. My favorites so far are his chicken patties (no other patties even compare to Dru's), coconut chicken and garlic shrimp pasta. Not only that, but he is a lovely human being who always makes you feel at home in his yard. To know Dru is to love him and his food. Do yourself a favor and buy a bottle (or two!) of his jerk sauce to bring back with you.
Natavia H — Google review
Dru’s patties are a whole different take on the Jamaica patty and OMG THEY ARE TO DIE FOR!!! I was blown away by the overall flavor of them. We ordered the beef and cheese patty and callaloo fritters….🤤🤤🤤 He makes his own sauce for them as well and it is outstanding!!! Of course we will be making it a point to stop in every year when we go!! Thank you, Dru! A true chef at heart!
Kasi C — Google review
Dru's food is lovingly prepared and excellent. His patties are made to order and the beautiful result of his cooking skill and Mom's recipe. His jerk chicken is superb. Even his salads are well-prepared to order. Everything wonderful. He is a gentleman and well-spoken. My wife and I enjoyed his company a few weeks ago. Right on the beach next to Beach House Condos, worth the short walk wherever you are on the beach.

Friendly service a few steps off the beach. This bar sits alone in the field and there is a sign on the beach. Try the made to order patties! They are amazing, and I've had patties all over Negril!

Review: I discovered the jewel of Jamaica at Wake and Bake, the only spot in Jamaica offering edibles and infused coffee and teas. My wife and I had a fantastic stay – the rooms were clean and efficient, the sanctuary was perfect for relaxing, and it’s a great place to meet locals. It seems to be their favorite chill spot. Highly recommend!

One of the best experiences I have had in Negril. I had such a great time with 4 of my family and friends. We thoroughly enjoyed the popcorn and brownies. I have never felt so high in my life. It was glorious. I will be back for sure!!! It is in walking distance from Rick’s Cafe and LTU restaurant. Great location. I did not stay at the location, so I cannot review the rooms. The staff was amazing and the cafe is very well kept and has a variety of options.

Nestled atop a picturesque hill overlooking the stunning vistas of Negril, Da Fabio is a charming guesthouse created by an Italian expat who has called Jamaica home for two decades. This hidden gem offers a unique experience that feels more like visiting a friend’s beautiful retreat than staying in a typical hotel. With its minimalist decor and natural wood accents, Da Fabio exudes boutique charm while seamlessly blending with the surrounding landscape.
A quiet rustic "cabin lodge" experience in the hills. Beautiful, peaceful. If you are planning time on the beach, you must plan your transportation, not walkable, car or taxi needed. But that is very doable and if you want an off the common path experience, recommend. Great great for family or family group.

We had a wonderful week staying at this quaint inn. Our room was cleaned everyday, the hosts were gracious and eager to help. The pool is a welcoming dip after a day at the beach. You will need a car to get around. Oh and the meals are delicious and very reasonably priced for the quality.

I'm very grateful to Alex and his entire staff for making my first Jamaican experience so memorable. Not only did they welcome me when I arrived, they made it feel as if I was coming home. They treated me so wonderful it was sad to leave such a tranquil, loving place.

The location of the hotel is actually very good compared to the resorts. You can catch a taxi or a bike taxi which is cheap and easy. So far that’s just the place! The hosts are just amazing in every way. We are so fortunate to have met such wonderful people. We can honestly say that they made the holiday for us. Alex (Alessio) and Luca could not do enough for us. Not only they cooked delicious food for us every day, sometimes Italian and sometimes Jamaican with the help of Rainie, Alessio’s wife, but they also organised excursions for us and gave us the best advice too. They are just genuine and eager to please. This is a special and unforgettable place and worth taking the time to write a fuller review. I miss you guys already ♥️

Fabio's guesthouse is very beautiful, located on a hill with plenty of view, all wood, almost gives you the feeling of a boutique hotel, yet embedded in nature. The breakfast could have been better and less expensive, I wouldn't recommend it. Other than that, I would highly recommend a stay in da Fabio's, very beautiful and relaxing place, we wanted to stay there for weeks.

There is no Negril without Da Fabio. We just returned from an incredible vacation and Da FAbio was one of the highlights. If you're lucky enough to have Fabio cook for you, don't pass the chance (the yummiest lasagne, pizza, lobster - better Italian food than in all LA). The villa is beautiful and you will experience the best sunsets. The place is immaculate, rooms spacious, pool well cared for. Just pass on those dingy, old hotels on the beach, you won't regret staying at Da Fabio. Can't wait to return!

Rick's Cafe is a renowned bar and eatery located on the cliffs outside of Negril, Jamaica. It offers stunning coastal views, delicious Caribbean cuisine, and traditional Jamaican cocktails. Visitors can witness cliff divers jumping off the 35-foot-high cliffs and enjoy breathtaking sunsets over the Caribbean Sea. This popular spot attracts guests from all over Jamaica for its unique atmosphere and unforgettable experiences such as cliff jumping, live music, and themed pool parties.
It was my first time at Rick's Cafe. The scenic view is breathtaking and relaxing. Watching the sunset is a beautiful sight to behold. They had music going and entertaining the crowd. People were dancing and having a good time. However, this place is not for kids and / or Christians. The food was ok, service wasn't too bad either. Because it is so crowded, it took a little while to be served. We just had to wait a while to be served. This place draws a huge crowd from 12 -10pm. They have plenty of seating area, along with multiple eating areas. They have the famous cliff to jump off into the sea. Unfortunately, I wasn't built for that one. No cliff jumping for me. Of course, my husband loves that type of scene and would love to go back. Overall, it's a little vibes within itself. Watching the sunset and drinking a nice cold beer is not bad at all.

Talk about amazing views of the sun setting while enjoying carribean music, food, dancing, drinking, people and cliff diving into the crystal clear water. My family & I stayed in Negril at the Azul resort which is about a 30 min ride away. I look forward to coming back in the near future. I would recommend everyone visit Rick’s Cafe while in Jamaica 🇯🇲
Sun S — Google review
Dare I say overpriced and overhyped? 🤔I wasn’t impressed to say the least and the “journey” to get here was turbulent. I’d recommend driving vs. the catamaran but it also depends on the vibe you want. Service here tho was lackluster and slow. The food was not worth the price albeit good. I think if you’re going for the music and party vibes and not so much the food and service, you’d have a great time. I was really looking forward to the food more than anything else so I was incredibly disappointed. It is a cultural asset of sorts so it’s worth a visit just know you may be disappointed. The views however are a different story. Very nicely situated with amazing views of the water.. that I really enjoyed.
Christabella — Google review
Breathtaking Views, Fun Vibes — But a Bit Too Touristy This spot definitely delivers when it comes to scenery and entertainment. The cliff diving was amazing to watch — such a thrill! The pool overlooking the ocean is absolutely stunning and makes for a perfect backdrop to just relax and soak it all in. Live entertainment added great energy and made the whole experience feel lively and fun. The food, however, was just average — nothing memorable, and definitely not the highlight. Overall, it was a good time, but the place did feel overly touristy and a bit commercial, which took away some of the authenticity. Worth checking out for the views and atmosphere, but don’t expect a local hidden gem.
Shaifa H — Google review
Folk rave about this place and when you get here you inderstand why. There are people cliff diving, dining, drinking, relaxing by the pool or watching the entertainment. Its all go. We sat by the sunset photo frame but I think the best place would have been upstairs in the far corner overlooking everything. Well worth the visit, made cheaper if you hire your own taxi rather than a trip.

I stopped by here to catch the catamaran to Rick’s cafe and wish I’d spent the day here instead. It was so lit and fun without being rowdy. They had lots of games and activities going on to keep guests entertained. If you’re expecting a quiet sunbathing or eating at the restaurant, this is probably not the best spot, but if you’re looking for something relatively fun and entertaining it’s good. The crowd leaned older compared to Rick’s cafe, and the views are just as stunning!

Pleasantly surprised after reading a couple of reviews. We went for dinner so didn't see any of the daytime activities. It wasn't packed which was great for us, but other diners were present. Food came quickly and very tasty, especially the quesidillas. The kids ordered smoothies which were good. We didn't have any cocktails so can't opine on those. Nice calm ambience with music playing in the background. Service was excellent.

Came here to actually go onto Seven Mile Beach & get drinks. First, know that entry is FREE. You can walk the coast, but only certain portions can you lay out your towels and beach chairs/umbrellas, due to hotels making their sand areas private. Finding parking in their lot is the main challenge. Anyway, had a great afternoon here. Water was calm & warm. Whike you're in the ocean, they'll ask you if you want to ride the inner tube attached to the speed boat. We were able to get a beach chair with an umbrella, even on a crowded beach. Went to get drinks and was able to walk right up to the bar w/ no wait. Drinks were priced fair. Bathrooms were adequate. When we were leaving, the rinse-off station was only operating at 50% due to 3 of the spouts not working. Just a perfect day in Negril.

what a nice place to spend the afternoon! the food was absolutely delicious and the frozen drinks quite refreshing. best of all you get to enjoy it all with your feets in the sand when you sit downstairs, on the beach side. it is also the pick up point for the catamaran boat tour that brings you up to ricks cafe. so you can lay on the beach chairs or swim while you wait

1/5/23 Visited Jamaica in January for a family event. We were staying nearby in an Airbnb and this was a short walk away, food here was very very good. Easy to walk to and friendly staff. Plenty of spots to sit down and eat and the view from the cliff is very lovely and romantic at sunset. The food does take a while (1hr+) so just be prepared to wait but it is worth it. We had the jerk chicken, we went to spot at least three times while we visited. Open till late. Local come hang out here too, can smoke freely. Some Parking available onsite

By far one of the best places I've been to in Jamacia for the Lobster. The view from the cliffs out onto the sea was awe inspiring. It may take a bit of time for them to cook your food but it's well worth the wait, after all good things take time. It has that rustic laid back vibe, the one that you always read about but never quite find. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed

The perfect alternative to a tourist destination, truly. It's awesome, just a little while away from the world famous Rick's Cafe, it has it's own charm and occupies it's own space. The food here is absolutely delicious, it's right on a cliff, the sunset here is truly gorgeous. I find it charming, the prices are moderate and the vibe is nice. The service staff is known for being courteous and professional. Visitors recommend trying the jerk pork with rice and peas as well as the well-seasoned chicken soup.
Burger King in Negril really surprised me! The food was fresh and tasty, and on top of that, they gave me a free lunch box as a gift. I’ve been to Burger Kings in many countries, but this is the first time I’ve experienced something like this. Great service and a very pleasant surprise!

The Bigboysfoodclub pulled up to Best In The West recommend by the staff at the hotel I was staying at. We arrived to restaurant, one of the staff came to our cabs with menus and explained what's on the menu we had 2 jerk chicken 1 Jerk pork and 1 fried chicken, which all came with rice dumplings and other side. The dishes were very full of flavour and pack to be the brim. We paid about 84 USD. My dishes were all pack full of flavour the chicken was tender and moist especially the fried chicken. I can tick of my bucket list having jerk in Jamaica. The portions are also definitely Bigboysfoodclub Approved hopefully if we return in Negril one day we will return. Also the service was fast and if locals wee there for their lunches ect you know it's legit, so KUDOS to Best In The West

What a hidden gem! The food here was incredibly authentic and absolutely delicious — every bite packed with rich, bold flavors that felt truly homemade. Portions were generous, and you could tell everything was made with love. It’s a charming roadside spot, filled with locals, which is always a great sign. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and everyone we met was so kind and friendly — it really added to the whole experience. A thoughtful touch: they even provided us with bug spray, which shows how much they care about their guests’ comfort. This place isn’t fancy, but it’s full of heart, flavor, and local charm. Can’t wait to come back!

DISGRACEFUL SERVICE!!! This experience today reminded me of why I left Jamaica 17 years ago. Today brought tears to my eyes, to see how my people "JAMAICANS" have drifted in our concern and treatment of each other. I was served at the BEST IN THE WEST today like the maid who lives in the basement . Thank you Best in the West for reminding me that The roots of Jamaica is long gone. The Absolute worse Service I have ever received at a resturant in my 49 years on planet earth. I hope the management will train your staff and how to better accommodate t,hose Jamaicans ,who are hard working and not looking for a hand out. THIS IS WHAT I WAS SERVED IN A BOX SEATED AT A RESTURANT FOR A SUNDAY AFTERNOON DINNING. WHILE EVERY OTHER CUSTOMER WAS SERVED ON A GLASS PLATE WITH SILVER CUTLERY . THE POOR EXCUSE WAS I DID NOT KNOW YOU PLAN TO EAT HERE AT THE RESTURANT. I WOULD NEVER TREAT A CUSTOMERAT MY COMPANY LIKE THIS,BECAUSE SERVICE IS NOT ABOUT MONEY. SERVICE IS IMPORTANT ,BECAUSE "PEOPLE MATTER".

We had the jerk chicken and jerk pork. Both were tender and juicy. The jerk sauce might be our favorite in Negril! The festivals and rice and peas were just okay. The entertainment was just silly but overall a good experience. Prices were a bit higher than expected but we have found this to be the case in general for the area.

Beautiful scenic sunset view, delicious food, amazing service and lovely local music. Not to be missed! Highly recommend to travelers visiting the area. Romain was an AWESOME server. Very attentive. We ate the skewered jerk chicken, seafood frittaz, fried calamari, the garden salad with fresh greens, peas and rice and plantains. Everything was delicious. We ended up eating there 3 times during the week we stayed in Negril. We especially loved hearing the Overtakers play music. 5/5 stars! 🌅🏝️🇯🇲🐟🦐🌊🙌🎶🎵

My Husband and I went for our 1 year wedding anniversary and had the best time ever! If you get the opportunity to request Kirk as your waiter you will not be disappointed!! Kirk did an absolutely amazing job! He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and helped made wonderful suggestions. I even expressed how I was hesitant to have liquor in my blended drink and he went out of his way to make sure the bartender used very little rum for me! The papaya daiquiri was outstanding! I can’t say enough good things about our whole dinner experience! Kirk was super attentive and made every table feel like it was his only one. We were even treated to a special dessert for our anniversary! Thank you, Kirk and Pushcart!!!

Just Natural Veggie & Seafood Restaurant & Bar is a charming family-owned eatery located on the lush cliffs of Negril. The restaurant offers fresh vegetarian and seafood dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Despite its small menu, the food is exceptionally fresh as it's harvested or caught daily. Visitors praise the warm hospitality of the staff and the delightful dining experience amidst a garden setting with soothing jazz music in the background.
The best meal we had in Jamaica! My husband and I were staying at the Cliff Hotel and went for a morning walk, stopping here for lunch. Delicious food and amazing atmosphere with the most joyful friendly staff! I ate the veggie burger which was so flavorful - full of black beans and lentils- with fresh vegetables and a homemade tomato sauce on fresh bread. The homemade hot sauce on the table was incredible. My husband had the bean and cheese burrito which was also incredible. With a red stripe and the best fresh fruit smoothie was only $13 US. We will go back tomorrow! Must stop in the West End!

This is by far the most affordable restaurant you will find possibly in the island at $400/$450 JMD for a whole breakfast meal and $350JMD plus for drinks . This is the place to be if you’re looking for a healthy meal made from freshly prepared fruits and veggies, a vegan or vegetarian meal, or simply to avoid the tourist trap and sample authentic Jamaican cuisine. Walk with cash in JMD as they don’t take card. Lovely service, natural garden scenery and very friendly service. The restaurant is located within nature as it is surrounded by a lot of trees and plants making the environment cool.

Just Natural is a true gem tucked just off the main strip in Negril’s West End. If you’re looking to step away from the touristy buzz along the cliffs and experience something authentic, wholesome, and fairly priced, this is the place. The atmosphere feels like a warm embrace—laid-back, inviting, and full of unique character that makes you want to linger. Everything here is made fresh, and the service is as genuine as it gets. The meal started with a complimentary bowl of soup and ended with a sweet little dessert treat, both thoughtful touches that made the experience feel extra special. The food itself was hearty, delicious, and rooted in local flavors. Portions were generous, and every dish carried that homemade touch you rarely find in tourist-heavy spots. If you want to taste “the real” side of Negril and enjoy a restaurant that feels like home, Just Natural is more than worth the stop. Highly recommended.

A Hidden Gem with Rustic Charm & Delicious Local Flavors I visited Just Natural Restaurant on Tuesday, May 20, for a local breakfast, and it was a delightful experience. The food was simple yet delicious—I enjoyed the Akee and saltfish with callaloo, served with fried dumplings, a small side of mango and tomato, and a flavorful turmeric and ginger paste. The flavors were fresh and authentic, truly satisfying. The coffee was decent, though I did notice the cup could have been cleaned a bit better—a minor detail that could be improved. The ambiance is rustic and natural, with a warm, earthy vibe that makes you feel at ease. The expansive backyard adds to the relaxed atmosphere, making it a great spot to chill and vibe before heading to your next destination. What truly stood out was the warm hospitality. The hostess, Mother Teresa (as she’s affectionately called), was an absolute delight—bright, welcoming, and attentive. She greeted me warmly, ensured I was comfortable, and even bid me a proper goodbye. Overall, I highly recommend this establishment for anyone looking for authentic local flavors in a laid-back, nature-inspired setting. It’s a hidden gem worth visiting, whether for a quick bite or a relaxing pause in your day.

Just off of the main road was one of the greatest dining experiences we’ve ever had. We were greeted by two very friendly women. They told us about the food and gave us recommendations on favourite dishes. We placed our order and were instructed to walk the gardens behind the restaurant. The yard is an incredible tropical garden of plants, trees and flowers. Seating areas are scattered about the space making for intimate dining experiences. We played some Red Stripe bottle cap checkers while we waited for the food. Our fresh made juices were delivered first and they were so refreshing and delicious. Our food came shortly after and we were immediately blown away. Some of the most beautifully coloured fresh food we have ever seen. And it tasted just as good as it looked. The portion size was large and couldn’t believe how great the whole experience was. And the price for what you get is an absolute steal. Highly recommend!

Fireman's Lobster Pit is a local gem located on the beach between Azul and Sandals in Jamaica. It offers a unique dining experience where you can select live crab or lobster from pots in the shallow bay, and have it cooked to perfection with their special garlic and ginger butter. This cash-only spot serves fresh seafood, jerk chicken, rice and beans, and more. The chef, known as Snoop Dog's twin brother, cooks up fabulous flavors on a fire pit.
We got to pick our lobster, watch it get prepared and eat the delicious meal in front of a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea. We met fireman and he was very nice, even gave us a meal on the house. Big up snoop and the chef in the straw hat. 100% recommend!

Beach front restaurant. Lobster is fresh caught and prepared right there. It was cool to watch and delicious to eat. The greens, rice and peas, garlic toast that comes with it were excellent too! The absolute best place in Negril for fresh tasty lobster. The staff and service are 5 star too. Good people, good food, good vibes. I first tried it two years ago. Recently returned to Negril to get married and this is where we ate for our wedding evening meal. Staff kindly put a table for us on the beach to eat - perfect. We visited Lobster Pit three times during our stay. If in Negril, this place is a must. Prices are reasonable! Enjoy

8 of us had dinner at Fireman tonight. We had lobster, crab, chicken and fish. We thought maybe we had ordered too much food, but it was so good we cleaned the plates. We watched the sunset while they cooked our food, the atmosphere was amazing and the staff was very friendly. Jamaican Snoop Dogg can definitely handle a grill!

A 'Primitive' aesthetic, grill working at the front door, and way fresh, out of the Gulf LOBSTER! I should have visited sooner on my vacation. So juicy and truly fresh salty tasting lobster. Not held over frozen in the kitchen freezer. I could tell the 3 prior dinners and restaurants did not serve fresh live lobster and you can tell the difference. I was beginning to think lobster in Jamaica was overrated. Not so. You just have to find the fresh and it's here. The approach is through a sketchy alley, no worries mon, go to the end through an opening between the galvanized fence panels. You'll hit the beach, go left, look for the yellow railed covered patio. Introduce yourself to the Fireman and be ushered to your table, either on the beach or on the shaded patio. We went just before sunset to enjoy it there.

Yummiest lobster we’ve ever had! Freshest you can get - water to grill in a matter of minutes. Friendly staff and a great view Be prepared to pay in cash. They deliver! Staff roam the beach of neighboring resorts and will bring your cooked lobster, crab, or fish to you. Will definitely be back!

Kuyaba Hotel in Negril, Jamaica offers a casual and relaxed resort experience with a variety of accommodation options including rooms, suites, and cottages. The open-air dining and beachside bar provide a laid-back atmosphere for guests to enjoy. While some areas of the hotel may need improvement, such as the mattresses and overall maintenance, visitors appreciate the welcoming staff and delicious food at the on-site restaurant.
I can't speak to the rooms as we just came for dinner but we really enjoyed the restaurant. The happy hour was great ! The staff was so incredibly friendly! I was here with my 3 year old twins and they treated❤️ us so well. The food was good and the drinks were great!
Laura H — Google review
Hospitality training must not be a requirement to work at Kuyaba. I’ll begin with the staff being totally bleak as if they are miserable at work. Perhaps moral is low. The front desk Candy was most kind and helpful but the male front desk worker was short with us and clearly showed annoyance when we asked any questions or tried to have any conversation. We avoided him but it made for an uncomfortable stay. I’m still not really sure what the “security guard” on the beach does as he only provided chairs for us once. The most friendly staff were the room service ladies and the male grounds keepers sweeping and cleaning. They smiled and greeted us everytime. The AC in our room did not work. Hot water rarely came in and the one time it did it lasted 10 minutes at most. There are no coffee makers or microwaves in the rooms and food service was a long wait no matter how empty the dinning area was. A good solution to that is eating elsewhere with friendlier efficient staff. Though this establishment is not at 4 or 5 star hotel the basic standards are lacking. I would say you get what you pay for but unfortunately this stay was worth much less.

I am in love with the bar/restaurant area of this hotel. Beautiful views of the beach. I came for dinner for the Bird of Paradise-stuffed chicken, and it was delicious! I had the peanut butter pie for dessert, and it was good, too. The service was great! If you come to eat, don't forget to say hello to the two parrots at the hotel, buddy and charlie!!
Kristin — Google review
I have returned to this hotel many times (7 or 8?) The landscaping is lovely and very well maintained. There are also two large cages, each with a parrot. The hotel is located on the beach and has a beautiful restaurant with a wonderful view of the water. It's a perfect place to watch the sunset. It's a relatively short walk to town from the hotel. Across the street from the hotel is Times Square, which has a number of gift shops. About a block from Times Square is a very small store that offers some essential food and beverage items, as well as some very good Jamaican patties. Kuyaba is not fancy, but I return there every time I come to Jamaica because it's very pleasant, with its convenient location, friendly staff, great restaurant, and lovely grounds.

Zimbalis Mountain Cooking Studio offers an awe-inspiring setting and delicious food that is sure to satisfy any gourmet. The chef was excellent and informative, making the stay all the more enjoyable.
My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the studio. Chef did a great job, explaining what all of the ingredients were, and how each were incorporated into the courses of meal as we watched her from scratch to a delicious. The ingredients were all very fresh - all straight from the farm. When we arrived we were asked what type of protein we would like to accompany for the meal. Everyone enjoyed their choices but I would say the local fish and chicken preparation were the best! (This is not a Benihana type meal - it is traditional Jamaican food). The ambience was very nice up in the jungle and intimate with the limited and gusts, everyone was able to see the cooking. It is important to note that this is in the jungle it is not a quick drive (I would say hour from the Negril hotel strip) but it is well worth it - as you are able to have time to tour the farm and the meal itself so that it’s not just a rushed dinner. I feel like some poor reviews were written because they were not expecting the drive. Don’t let that deter you!!! Nice to get away from the resort and try something truly magical.
Ashley R — Google review
Outstanding experience! We were in Jamaica in early March and were looking for an out-side the box adventure. So happy that we found Zimbali on Tripadvisor. Driver picked us up at our resort and it was a 40-45 minute drive to the retreat. We drove through small towns, countryside and sugar cane fields. The ride itself was an adventure! The Retreat/Cooking School is tucked into the jungle and it was amazing. It was like being in a tree house! We didn't realize that it was a full Inn with rooms to stay, and how cool would that be to stay there! You were greeted with a non-alcoholic beverage, but there was the opportunity to purchase a glass of wine or beer. African drummers provided entertainment. We had a tour of the farm, a short walk from the Inn, not spectacular, but cool to see. The food is prepared in the open kitchen and the chef walks you through her prep process, explaining the health benefits of the food she is using. All produce grown on the farm. You have your choice of fish, shrimp or chicken for your protein and a few different styles of preparation to choose from. It's dinner and a show and you need to know that going in. The dinner takes time and you have to be chill with that. Not everyone receives their entrees at the same time, so some had to wait while others ate. This wasn't an issue for the two of us. The food was outstanding! So delicious and fresh! Such an overall cool experience and so different from anything we had done in Jamaica in the past. And the drive back down the mountain, in the dark, was a whole different experience! I would absolutely go back the next time we're in Jamiaca!

The property on which this restaurant sits is absolutely gorgeous. We toured it before eating and the dense forest surrounding the area was so beautiful and a complete change of scenery from where we were staying on Negril beach. The Cheffe was incredible and truly put on a show, all the while cooking some delicious, locally sourced food. We took our whole family there, and grandma had the best time of us all! Highly recommend. Well worth the long and bumpy ride to get there (from which the scenery is just as beautiful)

This was a spur of the moment decision but we were not disappointed. Upon our arrival we were quickly greeted and given a tour of the property. The staff made us feel at home, the owner, Mark, was very accommodating and even helped us with transportation to and from the airport and to other locations during our stay. And this made us feel even more at home in a foreign country. The food was flavorful and fresh and the Rasta Tour is something we won't soon forget.👍🏼👍🏼 Next time we'll have to try the 5 course dinner!

Zimbali has become a tourist trap. You get a pile of cabbage, beans and a small fish filet for $105. The staff is apathetic to the point of being rude: having two seatings every day must have worn them out. "Are you going to garden tour or not?" was the impatient greeting we received as we waited in the reception for things to kick off. You won't learn any recipes or tricks. The food was pre-cooked and just plated in front of guests. When I asked about any ingredients I'd be told it's a "secret". I suspect that's because they use store-bought elements, like Maggi seasoning, which they don't want to flaunt. By the time the chaotic plating was done, it would arrive cold. Frankly, it was very average in taste. The value for money is also poor. The dishes were: chopped cabbage salad, blended pumpkin soup, canned black bean soup, a filet/prawns/chicken with some rice, and a sliver of rum cake (the supermarket variety) set on fire with cheap rum for dramatic effect. Nice, but not $105 nice. On top of all that, the staff was largely stoned and extremely impatient. When the waiter topped up my half-full glass with a completely different drink than I was having, and I protested, he shushed me saying: "It's what you're having". That was the vibe throughout. Shut up, eat and get out. (And they might overcharge you hoping you won't notice, as was the case for some guests on our trip.) It's all really a shame. The setting is spectacular. A beautiful forest farm with a tree-house-style hotel. But it has become a victim of its success. Do yourself a favour and take your time and money elsewhere.
Maria L — Google review
This is an experience not to be missed when visiting Jamaica! My husband and I travelled to this country for our honeymoon but we did not stay overnight at this retreat. That being said, we would absolutely be interested in staying here on our next trip! Upon arrival, we were greeted by the amazing staff and one of the owners; everyone was very friendly and accommodating. We were given options for our main entree and it was truly hard to choose which one because they all sounded so good! Walking the farm prior to dinner was an amazing experience - it was wonderful learning about their methods and seeing part of where they grow everything. Rambo was a fantastic guide! Watching the care the chefs put behind the food was really amazing experience. It's also a small space so watching 3 people prep everything was like a dance. They took the time to introduce each course - each more delicious than the last. I had the Jerk Shrimp - it gave me goosebumps. My husband had the Escovitch and it was the best we'd eaten on the island. You could tell that everything was organic/natural and didn't feel heavy after the meal despite eating 5 courses. Truly a spiritual experience!

Murphy's West End Restaurant is a great place to eat Jamaican food. It has hammocks you can relax in and their jerk seasoning is some of the spiciest and best on the island. The lobster was delicious, and the pasta was also very good.

The food was absolutely amazing, the service was the best, and the atmosphere was relaxed and laid back. It was a little dark in the facility could have used more lighting but I enjoyed my food. The lobster Oh my God was absolutely desire for and it was absolutely the best price on the beach two and a half lobster for roughly 30 to 35 USD. I will tell everybody take that trip to Murphy's and enjoy that delicious lobster. The curry goat was good but it was super spicy for me

3/10 would not recommend. Food was good. BUT the service was horrible and wayyy over priced . Paid close to 100$ for two plates of food, curry goat & curry shrimp. The woman certainly over charged and had an attitude when I attempted to verify. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND w/o price verification before eating. Food was good, but It’s unfortunate people feel the need to set scam prices & wonder why people don’t come back.

The best food I ever had in Jamaica. The best lobster I ever had !!! The portion is a lot ! I don’t think it can get any fresher than this. They did not have few items on menu but it wasn’t a problem cause I just wanted to try lobster. Definitely not a luxury restaurant. It’s in the shed? but very outside settings/feels with benches and a lot of mosquitoes. It gets dark quick and bad lighting. The lady mentioned some items can take a while but it came out pretty quick after lobster.

This was my hidden gem! Prices were like being at home but the flavor did not disappoint! I have been to jamica before and eat the food I love curry goat and this place rocks it out of the park! Barely any bone all meat so flavor full I came back 3 times!

Let me tell you…. If you visit Negril make sure to have a meal here! Make it your first stop!! Best authentic Jamaican meal ever This was the best lobster I’ve had! You get full Caribbean lobster cooked to your liking.. So delicious. Got it grilled with garlic butter , rice& peas w/ Callao.I was so impressed! Wow. & the server is a sweetie, she’s very knowledgeable about menu and details on each food item. She took care of us even during rush and kept smiling the entire night! This food immaculate as well as the service. I’ll be back before my vacation ends. Definitely worthwhile!

If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience in Negril, Ciao Jamaica is a must-visit. Located within the picturesque Samsara Cliff Resort, this charming eatery beautifully marries Italian and Jamaican culinary traditions. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, enhanced by vibrant bougainvillea that offers some separation from the nearby road. While it may be quiet during certain times, like my late lunch visit with just a few guests around, the flavors are anything but dull.

When we first arrived, the gate was closed. No security to advise us where to park so my husband and I parked our car several blocks down the street and walked back to the restaurant. Once inside, the customer service from the host, Melicent, was on point. She was attentive, friendly and proactive. We ordered the 20inch jerk pizza. It was done to order but it wasn't a long wait at all. It tasted very good. The ambiance was warm, lighting was intimate. There was a shower of rain so we were placed inside but that didn't take away for the openness of the restaurant. Pricing is affordable

I came here for supper and had the jerk chicken alfredo and garlic bread. It was so good!
Kristin — Google review
Ok so we only had the garlic shrimp pizza with mushrooms and olives followed by a key lime pie for dessert. The place was virtually empty, our table and another table for a total of four (4) guests for a late lunch. Please note that this restaurant is essentially on the road as well so while the bougainvillea provides some semblance of ambiance and boundary from the road, you can clearly see and hear passerbys. The flavour of the pizza was good, the crust was thin and had a decent flavour. We believe the garlic shrimp has a tups of curry in it as well, which greatly improves the overall mouth experience. The cheese pull was spectacular and I apologize for not having a video/photo of it. Just take my word for it! Additionally, I think it crucial to add crushed garlic pepper and parmesan to enhance the pizza. Also crucial to note: the 16” is big enough to share between 2 people comfortably. Now for the key lime pie! The key lime pie is a nice size to have for dessert, it’s light and airy with a little foam on top. The crumble on the crust is delightful and pairs very well with the acidity of the lime and sucks up the chocolate syrup beautifully! Well thought out dish. Kudos to the chef!

Yum! Been to Negril 5 times and this food is actually really good and really good portions. Jerk Chicken Alfredo was amazing. Can’t get that in the states. Tami was an awesome waitress. Food can be hit and miss so go to places that are word of mouth in Negril. Excellent food and service!!!!

My husband and I had dinner delivered to our hotel. The pic of the Red Snapper I'm sure doesn't do it justice in a takeaway container but it did not disappoint! The Lightly Spicy Lobster pushed Ciao Jamaica to 5 starts. Cooked to perfection and super delicious! Thank you for such a lovely dinner in an even lovelier place!!!

Let's start out with I highly DON'T recommend. I was going to write an article in the food section of the paper, but it really isn't worth my time. This is located on the cliffside, near Samsara. Parking is tight (as is most places up that side), so keep that in mind. Downstairs is not bad, but we were sent upstairs since it was a large group of us and there was already another group downstairs. Upstairs is like the stepchild of downstairs lol. Dark, not cozy, just blah. We asked for more lighting which they didn't have, but they gave us some candles. Still didn't help much, so we had to use our phones. The server was nice but she was also new, so she kept making unnecessary trips up/downstairs. Good cardio I suppose lol. We placed our order and waited. Wait time was a bit long but I understand that they had another big group downstairs and they seem to have a small kitchen space. My niece, who ordered first, didn't get her food until after everyone ate. Two others also. It seems like they forgot those orders. My sister eventually got hers, but we were still waiting on two. With the rush to make it, it didn't taste good at all, very salty. They both didn't eat it. I asked to speak to someone, since I'm in this industry as well, I said let me take care of it. I asked to speak to the manager and someone came upstairs. Milicent said that the manager wasn't there but she was a senior staff member. I explained the situation and all she kept saying was that it wasn't the kitchen's fault and if the waitress repeated the order to us. She did not apologize or take responsibility in any way. I had to ask her if she was trying to insinuate that it was our fault and she kept going back to "well it wasn't the kitchen's fault." They eventually made over my niece's pasta, which was even WORSE than the first one (again, who messes up pasta??), so my niece left hungry. I told the waitress that I wasn't paying for that and rightfully my friend should not have paid for hers either, but she couldn't bother go through the hassle of dealing with Milicent. They have a portable card machine but we still all had to go downstairs to use it. I don't know how this makes sense, but that's what they do. The place is already small, so imagine a large group of people clustered around the stairs and by the kitchen door..makes no sense at all. Oh, did I mention that the waitress forgot a table upstairs too? The lady had to go to her and asked if she saw/forgot them? I can't blame her, she's new and dealing with a large group and two other tables is not easy. That is a management issue. Wine options are limited and they don't taste good. One desert option, key lime pie is available. I had the lasagna, which was decent but I had to send it back down with another friend's, to be warmed up. We got it cold. Overall, it was a disaster and I would definitely not be going back or recommend this place to anyone.

First of all the meal was fantastic. The Chef Andre was really professional and came out to greet us. I had the calzone which had the option to make it how I like. I added cheese, chicken and sweet pepper. Very tasty and mouth watering and my friend had the chicken alfredo with shrimp;thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Nice cozy spot and the drink selections are good as well. My only problem is the service. As in, there was no hostess/ host so we just sat where we want. Took a while before someone came over to us and even then it felt like we had to rush. My drink order took over 30 mins and the waitress forgot it which wasnt a problem but to let me know and no apology behind it was unacceptable. I will be back though but maybe in the day. Big Up Andre 💯🎉💯🎊again and really good prices on the meals

Xtabi on the Cliffs is a truly unique gem in Jamaica, offering spectacular cliffs, snorkeling, and three caves to explore. The resort's well-maintained area with lovely plants gives it a jungle vibe, and the easy access to the cliffs and snorkeling within a two-minute walk from the rooms makes it an ideal spot for nature lovers. While the restaurant may be a bit pricey, its excellent food and breathtaking sunset views make up for it.
Beautiful, quiet place! Nice, clean rooms; beautiful garden, and restaurant/bar on the cliffs. Great for swimming, jumping, and hanging out. Loved the caves! Lots of restaurants and bars nearby within walking distance. About 4km walk to the white sand beach through Negril. Absolutely perfect for my solo getaway!

So here we are in one of the most sought-after areas of Jamaica known for its cliffs and beaches. With so many options of where to eat and what you do we found ourselves drawn to visit this restaurant after reading the reviews with guest photos, but was it as the reviews suggest? We were excited to see reasonable prices posted in the photo section of the review platform but were very discouraged shortly after showing up and comparing the actual updated real-time menus that were considerably more than the photos suggest, when I say more we are talking 50% more in most cases, so beware the current pricing is inline with most of the other local restaurants that are in my mind way to expensive for what you get food wise. Please don't hold your breath at any time while waiting for a server and or the food you've ordered unless you are practicing for the dives you will be taking shortly after. The physical attractions they have while visiting this cliff lovers oasis are top-notch, to say the least, as you can see in the photos I'll leave here. I'll have to say that all and all this is a great bang for your buck as they should really charge for an entry fee alone, and that's why they've received a 4 star rating from this vacationer.

I only came here for the cliffs and I was pleasantly surprised to find no one! The views are spectacular and you can access the cliffs/caves as long as you stay to buy a drink/food. It’s a great deal that you won’t find anywhere else in Negril in terms of affordability.

i wanted a nice relaxing vacation and was fighting if i wanted to stay on the cliffs or seven mile beach. i ultimately chose the cliffs for my first time visiting negril. xtabi made my experience nice and relaxing. i stayed in the cottage but next time will stay in the loft by the water. it’s so pretty, lush and rustic. the front desk was amazing and kind. always said good morning. also, please go to the cliffs and swim in the ocean. it was so beautiful i wanted to cry because living in la i’m stuck with beautiful beaches but the cold pacific ocean. 😭 and then grab lunch at the restaurant. they had a lot of vegan options for me which was nice. the staff was friendly and accommodating for me. thank you so much xtabi for welcoming me to jamaica and making my birthday so special. i cannot wait to come back! ✨ i also want to note that i visited during hurricane season so there was some outage. i’m used to it because i frequent tropical destinations and have experienced this before. there was an outage for 12 hours due to the thunderstorm. but after that, it was all good. just be mindful of your tolerance. that’s all.

The Kenny's Italian Cafe is a great place to eat Italian food in Negril, Jamaica. The atmosphere is relaxed and the food is delicious. In the evening it becomes an attractive venue for a romantic dinner with lounge music and comfortable chairs.

We drove in from another parish to celebrate my hubby’s birthday, and although our original spot didn’t work out, we couldn’t be happier with where we ended up! The ambiance was intimate and welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious, and the overall experience was top-tier. A special shoutout to our server, Britney, whose exceptional customer service truly made the evening unforgettable. She went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, even rearranging the furniture to provide extra support when the seating didn’t quite work for me. That kind of care makes all the difference! The wait time was reasonable, and the vibe was perfect for a cozy celebration. My only suggestion to management: consider keeping a few reserve chairs with added support for guests who may need them. The current seating is lovely, but a little flexibility would go a long way. We left with full hearts and full bellies—no regrets at all. Highly recommend!

Alfred's Negril, also known as Alfred's Ocean Palace, is a great spot for beach lovers. It offers a perfect location by the seven-mile beach and provides free and safe parking. The service is excellent with friendly and helpful waitresses who even assist in booking activities like boat tours. The sea and beach are clean, with available showers for after swimming. The food and drinks are above average, with generous portions at reasonable prices.
Perfect location, people, and food. We got a vegetable crepe and blackened kingfish. They could not have been better. The location is idyllic. Unfortunately, not the best dining on our vacation. Service time aligned with the Jamaican speed (slow). The food is fine but nothing special. Especially the fish and chips had a flavor of exhausted oil. Final note, if you decide to pay with a card you are forced to pay in US dollars at their change not in the Jamaican Dollar.

Woodstock Bar and Grill in Negril, Jamaica is a popular late-night hangout spot known for its incredible experience. With live music, craft markets, and friendly staff, this beachside location provides a beautiful setting with plenty of space for guests to enjoy. We went on karaoke night and apparently one that included a ton of what seemed to be spring breakers?? The vibe was really cool. The decor fun with a chill vibe. The winding walkway to the main area is unique and interesting. I did not have food, but the drinks were ok. I love that it is large open air venue with multiple seating areas and you can walk out onto the beach at night and still feel safe. That’s big and I’ll definitely return.

Food was good. Atmosphere had potential but the DJ that night was not good. Was supposed to be karaoke but maybe it started later after we left. My Bestfriends and I went Tuesday Night and we loved the experience. From the vibes, the decor and the food with great service was a chef kiss. The portion size is commendable as many places serve less and the food was so good. Ribs was tasty, fries was hot and corn was sweet - 10/10 for not being served cold food. The coleslaw was a bit too tangy and it had sweet peppers and onions which I don't eat and I forget they'll normally include. I would've requested none if it was possible had it called to mind, as a result I didn't have it. They were also having Karaoke night and that girl can sing. I would definitely return as we only dined and left.

Tables on the beach brought us here. Sophia was our waitress. She is a wonderful lady and we shared many laughs together. Nice bottle of white wine kept cold in a bucket with ice. Long wait of over an hour for our meals. Not many other couples here. Wife had grilled Kingfish. They grilled and grilled it a little more. It was the driest piece of fish she ever had. Lots of water to help get it down. Grilled Lobster for me. They also grilled and grilled it a little more to make sure it was grilled enough. It was a nice portion of lobster ruined in the kitchen. We were sad to tell Sophia our disappointment with our meals and she shared our disappointment too. A first for us was that although the bill is given in USD and also Jamaican Dollar, they will only charge your card in USD costing us more.

It was the worst meal I have ever paid for. 1.5hr wait for pasta, bruschetta, and ‘curry’. We heard the couple next to us complain and send back one of their dishes, refusing to pay for it, and assumed they were being unreasonable…but we had a very similar experience. We did pay for our entire meal. The pasta was regular old store bought penne and tomato sauce from the super market, with zero flavour. The bruschetta (which costed $10USD) was 2 cold slices of toast (Hardo Bread) with chopped red and green sweet peppers and onion, with no vinegar on top. And loads of black pepper for some reason. The curry was some steamed vegetables mixed with a very mild curry powder. I literally could have made three better dishes in 20 minutes. We ordered our food around 8.30pm and by 10pm we thought; ‘well at least it might be worth the wait’ and then were sorely, sorely disappointed. Absolutely terrible food. Waitress was friendly but could not save the experience, the wait, etc. Would not recommend.

This was 10am and the place was already a buzz with locals and tourists alike. That’s how you know this is the spot!! Walked in the cashiers/servers were taking orders and the notice board on the wall which showcasing the breakfast items available and the cost. We had a delectable curried chicken with fried dumplings, banana and sweet potatoes with water. I was satisfied You order and once dining you pay after. The bill for 2 meals and 2 waters came up to $2,900 that’s less than $20USD for breakfast. The atmosphere was beautiful, noise from the cars passing, but overall a great space to eat your meal. Would recommend

This place came highly recommended by our taxi driver when we came into town. So we had dinner, fried chicken and stew chicken. we enjoyed our meal. Later when asking for breakfast spots to try... Sweet Spot was recommended again. so here we are having breakfast and it's very good. definitely visit this spot while you are in Negril. *** A year later, we are back in Negril and we stopped by to have breakfast and its quality has held up. Still really good. Prices are good as well.

Vibes are right! Ordered the cow foot with rice n peas, it was 10/10!!! So good!!! I never been a fan of cow foot but I’m been converted!!! Would eat it again! Hubby had the goat and that was nice as well. We both preferred the cow foot and will be back to experience more items off the menu!

Sweet Spot has ah-mazing, delicious Jamaican food. Very reasonably priced in J$ even when converted to US$. Most expensive was oxtail - US$25.00 which was still less than some of the other high end restaurants along Norman Manley road. Many locals ate there as well which is a good sign. Indoor dining area was clean as well as outdoor. Not fancy, but rustic and comfortable. Service was excellent and friendly. We would eat there for our entire stay! Highly recommend.

Great customer service and the meals are affordable. These are just a few random pics however I had breakfast the other morning here and it was finger licking. Did the ackee and saltfish with fry dumplings and banana and it was amazing. Everything was right and the proportion was good. Highly recommend to all. After a long day at the beach, or wherever.... this is the place for you. 💯💞

3 of us came here to eat breakfast and I feel we got really overcharged, each of us got a meal and a juice as I said it was Breakfast and it came out to be $83. I've never spent that much in breakfast for 3 people specially in Jamaica!

Such a wonderful vibe, music and food. True Jamaican style bar and restaurant with great live music. The pizza is some of the best you’ll find on the beach. Drinks are cold and reasonably priced. Staff is friendly, welcoming and quick! Pizza came out in no time :) we love the beach and great atmosphere of Chances.

Wowwww…. The PIZZA!!! 😍 My fiancé and I finished an entire pie on our own after an app lol. It was AMAZING. Chef was super attentive and set up a table for us on the upper level, which we had to ourselves. He brought us music and was very friendly and welcoming. What a great sunset view, too. We enjoyed every minute of our visit.

We were pretty hungry and wanted something other than chicken. They are known for their pizza here. Curbside pick up as well. I'm not sure about delivery. We decided we would venture up 7 mile beach to "Chance's." It is so important to mention that "Chance's" has wheelchair access and specified seating, marked clearly on the tables. There's a lot of room to move around. We already had pizza at "Lee's Pizza" (in Negril, Jamaica) the day before, so we decided to have fettuccine. The menu online needs to be updated a little bit, but that's okay. We took a CHANCE anyway (see what I did there?). They had a massive menu in plain view on the wall, plus updated, interesting, hand-held, wooden menus. It is a pass through open-air concept with a huge bar with a lot of different types of alcohol. You can sit around the whole bar or at a table big enough for 2. The washrooms need a little up dating, and of course, if I didn't have tissues with me, I would have been upset. I kindly let the bartender know they were out of toilet paper. She fixed it right away. In Jamaica, always carry some travel tissues (kleenex). You never know if the washroom was extremely busy that day,and a washroom has run out. (Just helping out a fellow traveler) Anyway, back to the food. Great fettuccine Alfredo, very quick, friendly service, a good portion for one. It was also decently priced. All in all, it fixed our hunger pangs. We found the original Jamaican bobsled that was used in the Calgary Winter Olympics for 1988, in bad shape, beside the bathrooms. That bobsled need to be put in a museum, under glass at the airport. It would be awesome to see if that was one of the first things you set your eyes on at the Sangster airport, even in the condition it is right now. It's historical! ❤️ Good experience at "Chance's" we will try the pizza next time for sure.

Great spot for pizza on the beach and a chill spot to hang out at. Staff is extremely nice. I’ve been eating here for years and I highly recommend.

I've been visiting this place with my family for almost 30 years. The owners are like family to us. It's a great place to chill, enjoy good music, go swimming, get snacks, sandwiches, drinks, juices and cocktails and have a good time with family and friends! There's usually a volleyball net on the beach and lots of Watersports available including Glassbottom and banana boat rides, jet skies and parasailing. You can get artisan jewellery, paintings, gifts, tapestry and clothing at the gift shop on site as well. Have a great time at Chances Negril Jamaica!

Restaurant
Miss Lily’s at Skylark Negril Beach Resort is a vibrant beach bar located right on Seven Mile Beach in Jamaica. The cool staff and convenient location make it a go-to spot for guests looking to cool down from the island sun with frozen cocktails or signature rum punch. Visitors can enjoy great views of the sunset and a nice atmosphere while dining on delicious dishes like jerk corn, ribs, root vegetable salad, and vegetarian quesadillas.
Special thank yous to Shameika and Abby, Ailsa, Carlton, Joesephine, Roy and Shadae for excellent service throughout the week. We always looked forward to seeing you every day. Great food: we highly recommend the jerk corn, oxtail and fried chicken, rice and peas, plantain, ackee and saltfish, fruit platter, breakfast sandwich, jamaican special breakfast, omelette, rum cake, dumplings, callaloo and coffee. The only items we did not like were the burger, and the jerk chicken sandwich. What a great vibe and we felt lucky to eat here every day. Looking forward to coming back!!!

Enjoyed a delicious, top quality breakfast here. Nothing missed- from the welcoming staff and server to each bite off of our plates. The banana bread was some of the best I’ve ever had, luscious and flavorful, and went well with the iced blue mountain coffee. I already want to come back here and sip watermelon juice while staring out at the ocean. So glad our driver recommended it.

Just Amazing, everything we have eaten, the service, the setting, has been Amazing. We have eaten here 6 times within our 14 day vacation and each time has been just as good as the last. We have tried most things on the menu but the highlights have got to be the Jerk Corn, the Snapper Curry (this was a Monday night special), the Oxtail and the Snapper fillet oh and the Jerk Salmon and the….. I could go on you get the picture. The staff were all knowledgeable and friendly , they were helpful and took the time to chat. Oh and don’t forget watching the sunsets from here ……. They are Beautiful. Big shout out to Miss Lilys the best place we have eaten at in 3 years visiting Negril. Can’t wait to come back.

Cool likkle spot off the west end road. After several weeks in Jamaica it was refreshing to stop by meet Chris 🇨🇦 and have a straight conversation in English, lol. Seems people who stay here always return, maybe for the French fries 🍟

I would say the location is good it's a stone throw from the world's famous Rick's Cafe. The rooms are pretty basic-furniture outdated. This property has great potential just need some TLC.
Nickey C — Google review
This property is located in a side street riddled with potholes off the main road. Not beachfront. It is surrounded by trees with walking paths to each building where rooms are located. Some paths are inaccessible due to heavy silt/mud. The rooms are kept clean but is not impressive. The pictures online apparently reflect a better version of this place in times gone by.The wardrobe is in disrepair old and musty, could not unpack clothing. The kitchenette is bare with just an old mini fridge. There are no utensils or cups/plates. Could not reheat food purchased outside the premises as there is no microwave in the room or even a kettle. Travelled with infants and getting hot water for their tea was an inconvenience of having to leave rooms and head to the open dining area downstairs to use the restaurant’s kettle. The baths leaked, there were ants, roaches and lizards frequenting the rooms. I guess because of being surrounded by trees and plants. The internet service was terrible. We couldn’t watch tv or use internet based apps as the WiFi was weak. There is a pool table upstairs of the main dining area however that space is not maintained as it was dusty with old broken chairs and it looks more like storage. At one end of the property there is a trampoline and a small area with swings and a little slide for kids but that too is not quite operational. On a more positive note, the complimentary breakfast was excellent. The restaurant’s food was delicious. The pool was kept clean and cleaning staff came around everyday asking if we needed cleaning, change of bedding or towels. The property is located within close proximity of Rick’s Cafe.

Seastar in was the best experience ever and I'm definitely looking forward to my next visit. The ambiance was spectacular, the staff was pleasant, the inn is definitely a place to visit. I spent my Christmas vacation there and I don't regret. I'd book a family trip any day and head there. We were well taken care of. I gotta say, the pictures I saw before didn't do the place any justice. I thought the pool was a small by the pictures I've seen but it's really not. Prices were great! Reasonable even.

Just spent a weekend there and trust me I'll be going back next year if God spares my life. It's a cozy , quiet get away from it all , the trees, the birds , the awesome quiet was so relaxing. I would recommend hear to anyone that just want to relax and get away from it all. Only gave it 4 stars as u r not able to call room service and the place needs a little touch up here and there but all in all great little place.
Courtney B — Google review
Up on first glance, you may not be all that excited about this location. However, I must say that once I got on the property, this perception changed. The room was huge and came with a little kitchenette including a small fridge. The surroundings were clean and beautifully kept with an inviting ambience. I loved how close I felt to nature while on the balcony, which also had a hammock for relaxation. The swim-up bar pool was clean and the water was always warm. My only concern was with parking as there was limited space on property. However, I was assured that there was a security guard on duty. Overall, the location was quiet and calming, excellent for a solo trip. I will definitely be returning very soon.

Here is an honest review of this place. First, I want to say it's a great place to stay. The ambiance is great and the staffs are amazing. It's on the west end of Negril that is close to restaurants, the beach, the town area, etc. It also has a restaurant on the property, plus they offer free breakfast. They have a live band on Saturday nights and buffet-style with different meals selections. There are cons, but not a lot. The only concern I had was the bathroom linings. I think it's time for them to change. But in a nutshell, if you're looking for somewhere to have a weekend getaway, this can be a reasonable place to relax, chill and enjoy yourself or with your loved ones. It's kids friendly too. I've attached pictures. Hope this review is helpful. 💥😊

Rasta Ade Refreshments is a beachfront restaurant in Negril known for its delicious vegetarian dishes and homemade non-alcoholic drinks. The vibrant and laid-back ambiance, along with courteous service staff, creates a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Despite the positive aspects, there are concerns about the restroom facilities that need improvement. Additionally, visitors can enjoy beach access and even indulge in a rejuvenating massage from a skilled therapist nearby.
This place is just great; it's a perfect spot for a quick bite. My wife and I have stopped here multiple times during our vacation to order vegan sandwiches, juices, and appetizers. We love sitting at their picnic table under a grass covered roof right on the beach. The Rasta and retro artwork, and the whole vibe of the place is just so cool. The food is fresh and very flavorful. I am not even a vegan.

The best ital/vegan food on the beach! Every last dish we ordered was incredibly flavorful and nourishing, and so enjoyable to finish. Princess is an absolute treasure and a delight to chat with. Our food was prepared in a reasonable amount of time. It was reasonably priced and plenty to share for two people. The salad was mouthwatering, as was the soup and the veg platter. Also, if you’d like to take photos, this is a really colorful & fun establishment for that.

What a wonderful experience, I travelled by pylon transport from MoBay just to try this spot. The decor is so tropical and welcoming, very picturesque. The lady behind the counter was very warm and inviting. I had the veggie sandwich and for the first time fried bammy 😋 I paired it with cane juice. Everything was deliciously fresh and made to order. Finish off with a dip in the water, heavenly. I’ll definitely pop by next time I’m in Jamaica.

The food Michael makes is delicious! And the juices are really good as well. The place has a really good vibe, the decoration is very cool, the beach is amazing and Michael is such a nice guy! We loved Rasta Ade and went there all the 3 days we were in Negril.

Yummy food and great place to watch the sunset! If you are looking for something tasty and healthy this is the spot! We had the veggie platter and daily sip. Absolutely delicious and filling. I’m a meat eater but this vegan food does not leave me hungry or wanting more. We enjoyed adding the leftovers to soups/sips since hotels don’t have microwaves anymore. Only warning high sand flea population in the area! 😣Make sure to cover up or wear bug spray if going in the evening!

Got a good amount of food for $2000 each. We took the breakfast platter and the Mr V’s special. My only qualm is the food has some flavor, but it could use a little more salt. That is to be expected because it’s ital food and it’s not bad, just lacking a little more oomph . Friendly server and lovely beach side tables though

I return to #Jamrock often to replenish my spiritual strength and energy from the culture, the music, and the #iTal (vegan) food. If you are seeking healthy, restorative food experiences devoid of animal products in #Negril, make sure to refuel at #RastaAde on 7-mile beach for some of the most enriching grub you will experience in #Jamaica. Smoothies, ital stew, veggie platters, power sandwiches, etc are all on the menu. So come pay respect to the #Rastaman for #lvity and positive vibrations. Transformative travel and bliss are always the end goal. Bless up yourself!!!

Pablo's Restaurant is a friendly and authentic eatery offering first-rate Jamaican cuisine. Located conveniently across the street from many hotels, it serves all meals from 7 am to 10 pm. The food is made from scratch and the service is excellent. The prices are reasonable and listed in Jamaican dollars, unlike other places in the area that price in USD. The portions are large, and guests appreciate the owner's willingness to create custom food combinations not listed on the menu.
This is a charming restaurant situated in the west end of Negril. I have had breakfast here twice and each time my meals were fresh and delicious. The owner/server/chef is courteous and professional. We were staying at Samsara across the street, but chose not to go all-inclusive. We ended up enjoying many suppers at Pablo’s over the course of our stay. Pablo and his staff were always very welcoming and easy to talk with. We loved chatting with him before and after our meals. The food was consistently flavourful and high quality. Large portions too! It wasn’t a fast process, but we were never in a hurry. It’s Jamaica 😆. It can get noisy at times, being right against the road. But the open air was refreshing and cool. The coffee was great. Among our group, some of the favorite dishes were the spaghetti marinara, chicken and cashews, and Pablo’s fried chicken. Cash only.

As I searched Negril for the true, authentic flavors of Jamaica, I stumbled upon Colleta’s restaurant, a true Godsend. An absolute must! 😋😋😋😋😋 The flavors were so rich and satisfying that I had no choice but to return the next day for seconds. Good restaurant reviews often highlight excellent service, fresh ingredients, and unique menu items, creating a memorable dining experience. They can also mention the ambiance, value for money, and whether the restaurant is suitable for specific occasions. Examples include reviews praising attentive staff, perfectly balanced flavors, and innovative dishes. The food and drinks were perfect. I ordered multiple drinks, and it all was just 5/5. Reasonably priced. Along with the amazing dishes and drinks, the ambiance stood out. Keney's Chinese Restaurant in Negril offers delectable cuisine that is truly exceptional. With a group of eight hungry individuals, the remarkable food satisfied everyone's cravings. The attentive waitstaff promptly presented menus to each guest, allowing them to choose two dishes each. Every single dish was superb, with delicious flavors and perfect temperature. However, the restroom facilities were subpar, resembling an outhouse where one had to go outside and back up to enter.
I haven't had Chinese jamaican food in years I guarantee everyone to go here everything was perfect see you guys soon

Good food, nice atmosphere for the restaurant. I wish your servers would get some training on F&B service - they're clueless, and it comes across as being so rude because they don't know better/care. Kitchen staff were also seen with unrestrained hair/baird in excessive amounts. I think offering a lunch special would give you a lot more business. Parking can be an issue and something needs to be done with the water settling at the front, so if it rains, you can get in & out of your car without water being up to your knees.
Russell J — Google review
The restuarant was a bit hard to find because it technically has two names. I saw the Sky Lounge sign on the building and that's how I stopped and went in. The space was empty and I noticed most folks did take out, however the service was good and fast. The food was excellent! I had the curry beef and yheir take on General Tso's chicken. I appreciated the fact that both dishes were infused with lots of vegetables.
Kevin C — Google review
A group of 4 of us came here (aka Sky Garden its the same thing, we were confused too when we pulled up) because we wanted chinese food. it’s very pretty! the vibe was cute. got to do a photo op and everything. the menu was more extensive than i expected. and there’s a button on the table where you can call the server if you need something or just want your bill— so that was nice! and they have mosquito zappers at each table if you sit outside. Appetizer: we tried to order nachos, 3 different soups, and sushi, but they were out of all of those things. so I got the shrimp springrolls to start which were really good— a small (which i got) is 2 of them and a large is 4. Also tried the crab rangoon which were okay, but i’m not a fan of them in general so. Entrees: i ordered general ching chicken (slightly similar to an american general tso) with fried rice (add egg for $2) and really enjoyed my food. one of the girls got the barbecue spare ribs with fried rice (add egg for $2) and the meat was falling off the bone and delicious. those are definitely two dishes we’d recommend. the suggested dish by our server was the sweet and sour chicken. so the other two ladies ordered it, but was disappointed and said it was just okay. i tasted it and was glad i chose ching. drinks: only one of us got a drink that wasn’t water and it was the rum punch. she liked it! it does not look like the other rum punches, but it tasted like it so don’t be off put by it lol all in all i enjoyed it and would go back!
Anais W — Google review
It's a beautiful restaurant and the food is amazing! So much so, we chose it as our last restaurant to return to before heading back home. The sweet and sour chicken is the best! The chicken fried rice is very good, so is the Hot and sour soup! It's different than what we're used to here, but it's equally flavorful and delicious, even spicier than expected. The first time the service was great. It took time to cook all the plates we ordered, but that's fine. On the second visit, the waitress was a little rough and seemed unhappy. Not as good service, but they food was as good! We will return for sure. *by the way, the restaurant is called Sky Garden, not Keney's anymore. Your cab might know where it is, but you won't see the Keney's sign

Very happy we decided to swing in for dinner. The portions are massive, so we definitely over ordered. We had shrimp lo mein, chicken fried rice, crab wontons and the most delicious shrimp and vegetable spring rolls. We will go back and try other dishes. Makes sense that all of the veggies incorporated into the dishes were outstanding, all local produce in Jamaica is awesome. We ate inside and the ac was refreshing, service was good, drinks were good, just a nice change from our usual suspects for dinner.

Very expensive. We spent 120 dollars for 3 mediocre noodles, 2 smoothie and 1 coke. I never spent that much for Chinese food and they also asked for tips. Don't go there. They advertise 2 location, one is Keney s and the other is Sky garden but it is the same location. It's a scam!

Restaurant
Le Vendome Restaurant at Charela Inn has been a traditional French eatery since 1980, run by the Grizzle family. Located on the famous Seven Mile Beach in Negril, it offers top-quality food made with fresh local ingredients. Guests love the attentive staff and the cozy atmosphere that makes them feel like family. The restaurant is known for its delicious Jamaican breakfast and cheesy jerk sausage pizza, as well as an impressive food menu with tasty options for vegetarians.
Best spot & view on the beach, great entertainment with amazing talent showing up on scheduled nights. Food is always top notch and consistent, from breakfast, to lunch and dinner which is hard to find on the beach ironically. Servers treated me and other guests just as if they were family which was always breath of fresh air. Always a pleasure coming to dine and stay here at Charela!!!

Very baby/child friendly restaurant! Ate here for breakfast for 7 days. The ladies at the restaurant and bar are incredibly friendly, smart and hard working. Special shout out to Trisha, Lisa, and the lady in glasses with cute bun hairstyles (sorry, I didn't catch her name). One server with the back ponytail, larger chin and unique teeth was always grumpy with us. The other servers noticed this too. Still, very generous portions for breakfast. I even skipped lunches because i was so full!
Christina G — Google review
We stayed at Charela Inn from March 27th to 30th with the all-inclusive package, which meant we enjoyed every meal at their beachfront Le Vendome Restaurant — and there are definitely a few highlights worth sharing. ✨ The true standout for us was the Jamaican breakfast served each morning — flavorful, satisfying, and beautifully presented. (As someone who lives in Jamaica and is genuinely obsessed with ackee and saltfish, I can say this breakfast hit all the right notes!) And we can’t not mention the croissants — hands down, the best we’ve had in Jamaica (and I’ve even had croissants in France!). They were so buttery and fresh, we simply couldn’t stop eating them. 🍽️ Another memorable part of the experience was the 5-course tasting dinner menu, which changes daily and gives you a chance to try different French-Jamaican fusion dishes in a refined but relaxed setting. 🌴 The location of the restaurant is absolutely unbeatable — right on Seven Mile Beach, with palm trees swaying in the breeze and the sound of the ocean just steps away. Dining here during sunset felt especially magical, with golden light reflecting off the water and a calm, peaceful vibe all around. 🧑🏽‍🍳 We also loved the convenience of beachside food service — being able to order lunch right from your sunbed made our stay feel that much more effortless. 🎶 We were lucky to enjoy live jazz dinners on two evenings, which added such a beautiful touch — good music, great setting, and warm, friendly service. 🍷 The restaurant also offers exquisite French wines, including Pol Roger Champagne — a rare and elegant addition to any dining experience in Negril. In all, Le Vendome offers a unique culinary experience with a stunning location, quality baked goods, and a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Definitely a great place to unwind and enjoy a slower, more soulful side of Negril. 🍽 Le Vendome Restaurant – Highlights & Details: 🥐 Freshly Baked Croissants Buttery and golden, baked in-house every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday morning. A local favorite — arrive early, they go fast! 🍽 Daily 5-Course Gourmet Dinners An elegant dining experience every evening, combining fresh Jamaican ingredients with classic French techniques. 🎶 Live Jazz Performances Enjoy smooth live jazz under the stars every Thursday and Saturday night. 🍷 Exquisite French Wines & Champagne From house selections to exclusive imports like Pol Roger Champagne — perfect for fine food pairings. 🌴 Beachside Dining for Hotel Guests Staying at Charela Inn? You can have lunch served directly to your sunbed on the beach. 🍹 All-Inclusive Option Available Opt for the all-inclusive package and enjoy unlimited meals and drinks during your stay. Whether you’re staying at Charela Inn or just passing through Negril — Le Vendome is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates good food, beautiful views, and a relaxed island vibe.

One of my favourite places in Jamaica Charela Inn is a true gem. The food is consistently amazing. Every meal is full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with care. The staff are warm and welcoming, and they make you feel right at home every time. What I love most is that it is proudly Jamaican-owned. There is a real sense of pride in the way the place is run. You can tell the owners care deeply about both their guests and their community. That kind of social responsibility is rare and meaningful. Whether you are staying overnight or just stopping by for a meal, the experience is always memorable. I genuinely recommend it.

Absolutely amazing place ! I stayed here for 1 week eating most days and nights at Le Vendome. I still crave the breakfast all the way from Sydney Australia ! The callaloo, eggs and freshly made French pastries … their dinners are also so tasty and memorable.. the best combination of Jamaican and French cuisines ❤️❤️

Le Vendôme: Where French finesse meets Jamaican warmth I had the pleasure of dining at Le Vendôme, a unique spot that blends French and Jamaican cuisine beautifully. From the moment i arrived, the experience felt special. The food was amazing. The seafood platter was fresh and flavorful, and the chef salad added a light, refreshing note to the meal. The pizza, made with a homemade crust, was another highlight, and the homemade baguette brought an authentic French touch to the table. The egg nog ice cream was a surprising treat—creamy, rich, and perfect for the island heat. Dessert lovers will appreciate the Black Forest cake, which balanced sweetness and texture wonderfully. Don’t forget to try the rum punch!!! The prices were quite affordable for the quality and variety offered. What truly set the dining experience apart was the live music that played in the background while enjoying the ocean breeze—it created such a relaxed and memorable atmosphere. The service was equally impressive: the staff were friendly, entertaining, and genuinely courteous, making us feel both welcomed and well cared for. Whether you’re a local or visiting, Le Vendôme is a fantastic choice if you’re craving a mix of European classics and island charm. Highly recommended! 🌊🍷🥐

Shark restaurant in Jamaica is a hidden gem that offers authentic and freshly made Jamaican food, with a diverse menu that includes seafood dishes like oxtail, conch curry, escovitch fish, and fried snapper filet with a sweet and spicy sauce. The chef, Juliette, is known for her flavorful and hot dishes such as oxtail and garlic butter conch.
Best meals on the cliffs! Do not miss out on Juliette’s cooking and hospitality. She is both a lovely human being and an amazing cook!! Try the oxtail, but you honestly cannot go wrong with anything you choose on her menu. You will feel right at home as soon as you step into Sharks and won’t regret stopping by. We had dinner there the last 3 nights of our week long trip because it was so delicious!!

During my recent trip to Negril, Sharks Restaurant stood out as the best dining experience. Miss Juliet’s food was incredibly flavorful, with a homemade touch that truly felt like it was made with love. The customer service was warm and welcoming, making me feel comfortable as a solo traveler. I highly recommend visiting Sharks Restaurant whenever you find yourself in Negril.

Wow, wow, wow. Best food in Negril by FARRRR! Please make sure you visit this restaurant for authentic Jamaican food. The fish is so fresh, the curry chicken soooo good. Pineapple coleslaw 1000/10. Everything was so, so nice. Please don’t waste your money in the hotels along the beach front, they are not authentic and it’s so expensive!
TD S — Google review
An absolute gem! We ate here for lunch and the food/service was amazing. We ordered the garlic butter shrimp and the grilled octopus. Both was a 10/10 but the octopus really took the win! It was so tender and so juicy. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we came back for dinner the same day. The prices are reasonable compared to other local places in the area. Food takes 30-45 minutes to serve so don’t come here hangry. Also, bring JMD! They currently aren’t accepting credit cards (but this can change in the future). Definitely recommend! Update: We’ve now eaten here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For dinner, we ordered fried conch and grilled lobster (both with garlic butter on the side). The grilled lobster was cooked perfectly. The conch was tasty as well but my husband made the mistake thinking it was pan-fried conch but he got fried breaded conch. Not the restaurants fault but the conch was still good, just a little more bread than we anticipated. For breakfast, we ordered ackee salt fish and the lobster omelet. Both were superb! Every dish that we’ve ordered was splendid.

Erica's Hideaway Restaurant and Bar is a hidden gem located off the beaten path, offering an authentic taste of Jamaican cuisine. The family-owned business provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with fresh vegetables and herbs sourced from their own garden. The rustic decor adds to the charm, while the friendly service makes you feel like part of the family. The menu features reasonably priced dishes such as lobster curry and garlic conch, prepared to order using locally grown ingredients.
We had the best dinner at Erica’s - had fun getting To know Ms Vivienne and hearing all about the history of the restaurant founded by her mother-in-law. The curried lobster was delicious and left plenty of sauce for soaking fries to make a curry chip. The brown fish was so good - meaty fresh fish in a deep brown fish gravy, absolutely satisfying and flavorsome local dish. I would come Back here for dinner every night of vacation!

Erica’s Hideaway is a MUST visit on your next trip to Negril, Jamaica! The food is so authentic it reminds me of my grandma’s cooking. Vivianne and her Demers are amazing hosts and create such an amazing atmosphere. The tour of the garden is so cool and just shows how fresh the food really is. You should definitely make a stop or two at Erica’s when you are in Negril.

A must visit restaurant if you are in or around Negril. We went to Erica’s whilst staying at Samsara cliff resort which is roughly a 2 minute drive away. The food is absolutely incredible. It’s freshly cooked by Erica’s son whilst Vivienne (Erica’s son in law) is the wonderful server and host. There were 6 of us eating, we all ordered different meals and were all thoroughly pleased with the flavours, authenticity, presentation and taste! This alongside the 5* service makes this a place to visit!! Parking was convenient as it’s just outside of the restaurant. We also love that it’s a small family run business ❤️

A must try if you are on the West End. We decided to give it a try based on prior reviews. This is a family owned business a little off the beaten path. The food is excellent and the prices are great. Everything is prepared to order and very fresh, with much of the veggies grown on the property. A real farm to table and a true hidden gem. The decor is rustic and homely and the service makes you feel like family. I can’t say enough positive about this spot for authentic Caribbean cuisine. We had curried lobster, butter garlic lobster and brown stew fish with rice and peas and fried plantains. Can’t wait to return.
Marcia A — Google review
The steak is a kind of stew with gravy. The goat tasted very bland. The fish was the best thing we ate. The price, about $25 per person, is low compared to many other places. The food in Jamaica is very delusional almost everywhere if you consider the price!

Erica's Hideway is a small but lovely restaurant serving Jamaican Food in the Westend of Negril. Vivienne and her husband are very welcoming. She was super sweet, talking to me while her husband freshly prepared my meal singing along. After my dinner, they showed me their garden where they grow the vegetables served in the restaurant. The food was very tasty and the portion so big that I did not manage to finish it.
Martina F — Google review
Wonderful family owned and run Jamaican restaurant! The food is super fresh! Veggies and fruit from their own garden and the most delicious seafood cooked to perfection. Best lobster I’ve ever eaten, anywhere. Large portions of slaw, lobster (3 pieces or 1.5 tails), and rice and peas. Vivienne (hostess/waitress and owner) gives everyone in the restaurant special attention. Ask for a garden tour and see how they grow the foods you eat. DJ (cook and owner) came over and gave us each a neseberry that they grew. Their son Vaughn (artist/musician) even spoke with our son at length about motorcycles. They really love and care about what they do. Real good people. Support this local business.

A tiny little place across the street from Canoe Restaurant and Bar, with a separate little bar on the water side. It rained and we had to change tables in order to not get wet, but it's Jamaica and things are different, so it was fine. The food was really good and fairly priced. No trip to Negril is complete without a visit to Swordfish! We usually go 2-3 times in the 2 weeks we spend in Negril, and my parents who are locals go a few times every month! Great food cooked fresh by the owners Carlene and Kemp, great professional service by the servers, and the views of the ocean while you dine is incredible. Try the oxtail, the stew conch, the coconut fish, or the curry goat - you will not be disappointed!

Great food. We very much enjoyed catch of the day with coconut cream sauce and garlic shrimp, both with a lovely coleslaw and rice and peas. Do yourself a favour and get some garlic bread. It is made on Cocobread. Delicious! One rum punch, one red wine, 2 waters. $72US. Very peasant service. And very much enjoyed the rooftop dining view and cool breeze.

This place definitely needs a cleaning definitely need to clean the pool get the hot tub working and probably hire some security or something to keep the local hecklers away from first-timers trying to enjoy their first night in Jamaica!!! Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. Couldn't walk outside without being ran up on. We had a room booked with a courtyard view and they considered that looking at a wall and then looking at the rooftop of something else and then another wall. Horrible view if you book the courtyard room honeymoon suite with the hot tub

Chef Garrett is my wife's favorite she won't eat on the premises unless it's him cooking. Then there's Doreen the lady that cleans the room she is very polite and friendly and since it's been several times being here we always ask for the room she cleans. Our front end ladies are absolutely the best always greet you with a smile and they are so polite. Security is always on site and helpful and bartender is polite and full of conversation. I almost hate to leave a review because I don't want everyone to know how great this place is, so that the next time I want to stay here, the rooms would not be all sold out! 😂 Seriously though if you haven't heard by now then you must be living under a rock! This place is the best hotel on the block! Friendly helpful staffing all around, all rooms are set up for longer stays, with fridges. I especially love the staff in the restaurant, by far the most pleasant hospitable servers I’ve met here on the island. The grounds are well kept giving you a feel of paradise, the pool always look clean and refreshing! This place gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s from me! Hey Rayon, keep the lights on for me because I definetly will return! ✌🏾

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a great experience. The property is beautiful and lush. The front staff were very friendly and helpful. The kitchen staff at the restaurant were also very kind and the food was amazing. While the food does take a while to come out, it’s because it is being made fresh for your order. Breakfast was included with our stay and also good but we enjoyed the lunch/dinner menu more. The room was clean, large and comfortable and it even came with a mini kitchen. There is a small restaurant that is walkable from the hotel that was also great. Beach access right across the street. If you’re looking for something non inclusive, friendly, comfortable and safe this is your place.
