George Town in 4 days

If you only have 4 days to spend in George Town, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
George Town, the capital of the Cayman Islands, combines clear turquoise waters and white-sand beaches with the convenience of a modern Caribbean port city. Visitors can snorkel or dive on nearby coral reefs and shipwrecks, visit the Cayman Islands National Museum, or shop duty-free along the waterfront. The city is also a gateway to Grand Cayman’s famous Seven Mile Beach and popular marine attractions like Stingray City. A range of restaurants and bars, many with harbor views, add to its appeal as a cruise and vacation stop.
With favorites like Artifacts, Miss Lassie's Mind's Eye, and Cathy Church's Photo Centre, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like Al La Kebab and The Falls Steakhouse (formerly Copper Falls Steakhouse) so you can get the best taste of George Town while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

Camana Bay is a vibrant retail and entertainment district that offers a mix of shops, restaurants, and promenades. It is conveniently connected to the beach and North Sound through shaded pathways, canals, and bridges. Just a short drive from the airport and George Town, this area provides access to Seven Mile Beach where visitors can enjoy various water activities such as snorkeling, paddleboarding, or diving at sites like Kittiwake.
Love this area! Such cute shops and great restaurants. We really enjoyed watching the children playing soccer and hide and seek. The bartenders at Next Door are excellent, and can concoct any libation! Definitely an area to visit while on the island.

Lovely spot to walk around and do some shopping or just sit and enjoy the fresh air. Peaceful atmosphere with a nice mix of stores and places to relax—perfect for a casual stroll or a little break in your day.

Beautiful fun shopping center. Pricey stores, but lots of fun free splash pads. They even have a Christmas tree up now and a cute little island with a blue iguana statue.

Beautiful but expensive$$$ Tips: 1) cheaper to rent a car at the airport than to take a taxi roughly $30 USD or more one way 2) Going to the public beach on the Indigo side is $299 USD or more for entry ....dine at thr cafe and get access to an uncrowded space complimentary.

We took the ferry to Rum Point from Camana Bay. It was $25 round trip per person and you buy tickets in the ferry app. Nice and clean and pick up and drop Off is in front of the gelato store - which is also very good!

Absolutely lovely and a must-see when visiting! A beautiful showcase of the island’s creative spirit, filled with unique and inspiring art. You can really see the incredible talent and skill that went into every piece.

TimeBack exhibit showcased historical photojournalist images from the islands past. The upper floor contained artwork from local artists, there is also a sculpture garden in the back. Admission was free at the time of this review. Overall great experience and a good way to get out of the heat for a couple hours on your trip.
Adam B — Google review
I came across an incredible gallery filled with art and history that many, including locals, may have forgotten. The art was diverse and the scenery was beautiful. They had many unique sculptures and artworks created by worldly artists using different mediums. The gallery offers free entry, but encourages donations. It was my favorite discovery during my vacation.
Madyun W — Google review
Had a marvelous visit yesterday at National Gallery, rather small but always on point with many hidden gems. They also focus on education/outreach programmes and research projects. Thanks and kudos to y'all♥️ FYI current exhibitions are, -TimeBack (until Sep 3) -Evolutions (until Nov 1)

Lovely way to spend an hour or two admiring art. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. The entire facility and gardens were immaculately kept. It was raining when we visited, so we didn't spend as much time in the garden. What we saw was beautiful with functional and decorative pieces. Great photo ops. No admission fee was charged, but there is a donation box to contribute to the operating expenses.
Katherine M — Google review
A fantastic gallery to visit. Small but a perfect example of the incredible artists we have on the island. A variety of artists show permanent exhibits plus temporary shows as well. Also a little cafe and a beautiful garden with sculptures and a small maze. Not huge but still worth a visit. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
Rverityhk1 — Google review
Small but impressive art gallery! Can be done in an hour or so! The lower level has exhibits that are temporary and rotating. The upper level - permanent e exhibits by Cayman Islands artists. Both are impressive. The nicest thing is that the art represents local life and history of the islands through the ages! There is a sad undercurrent of sadness brought on by development and loss of the older ways of life! Would love to recommend this to anyone. Plus it's all free!

Kennedy Gallery is a stunning open gallery that offers a diverse collection of local and international art. The gallery features original paintings, prints, sculptures, fine art photography, watercolors, acrylic and oil paintings. Visitors can explore an ever-changing selection of beautiful art pieces including painted tiles, cast sculptures, photographs, notecards and more. While the gallery offers higher-end pieces with prices to match, it also provides reasonably priced artwork from local artists.
Beautiful gallery with lots of pieces in every price range. The woman working there was very helpful at picking out a nice, original painting that fit within our budget. Very happy with our purchase.

Gorgeous open gallery filled with a wide variety of beautiful art from painted tiles to cast sculptures to photographs to notecards to paintings to prints. The selection is always changing and you can more than likely find something to fit most anyones taste here. It is a higher end gallery, though, so prices for most of the pieces will set you back a pretty penny...

Stingray City in the Cayman Islands is a popular dive site known for its shallow waters and close encounters with southern stingrays. The area, located northwest of George Town, offers a unique experience as these gentle creatures have become accustomed to human presence due to feeding. Visitors can enjoy snorkeling and diving with the stingrays and starfish in the crystal-clear waters.
This was my second time out to the Stingray sandbar off Rum Point, but this time my husband and one of my daughters came with me. Only a few small boats, so not too many people, unlike last year when it was busier. Again it was one of the best experiences of my life. My daughter's initial fear melted away once she was in the water with these magnificently elegant sea creatures. We got to interact with them a few times each which was amazing. We got some great underwater videos too. Awesome experience! Thank you to Red Sail to Loic and Alex and the rest of the crew too.
Kirstine C — Google review
We took a tour from our cruise ship. It was a double-decker boat and took us to one of the sand bars. Several other boats were anchored there already, but we found a good spot. The captain threw stingray food in the water to attract them. There were several that came around the boat and the crew held one to take pictures with. It was a sunny day and an enjoyable experience. Wear sun screen!
Todd P — Google review
Highly recommend this experience to everyone coming to the Cayman Islands! It was suggested to us to go in the afternoon, as the cruise ship crowds would be gone by then. We came in low season and it was very quiet out in sting ray city! Beautiful crystal clear waters. The stingrays are used to people and love getting fed so they came right up to us! They don’t sting unless in danger. We felt very safe and cared for
Alanna M — Google review
This was the best time ever! I have never seen more beautiful water in life. And the stingrays were like big, spongy, floppy dogs. Getting to be in the water with them, getting to feed them, hold them and even kiss them was such an amazing experience. I didn't want to leave! The crew on the catamaran was so great, too. They really took care of us and made sure we had the best time possible. Anyone who goes to Grand Cayman cannot miss this excursion. It was amazing.
Michele S — Google review
Such a great experience being in the water with stingrays—they were just like playful puppies! So much fun to interact with these gentle creatures up close. Highly recommend!
Debora ( — Google review
We had a great time on a 3h boat tour with about 21 others going to see wild stingrays, snorkeling and see wild starfish at a reasonable price. They were competent well organized and it was fun! I would recommend this anytime.
Bernhard B — Google review
We chartered a boat with White Sand Water Sports and spent about three hours exploring different stops, including Stingray City. Our group included eight adults and six children ranging from ages 4 to 12. Every single one of us agreed that Stingray City was one of the best experiences of our trip. The memories we made there will stay with us for a long time. Highly recommend!
Reisha B — Google review
I got to experience this as part of a tour. Highly recommend visiting the stingrays. It was out in the middle of the ocean on a sand bar. The water is clear and the stingrays seemed really friendly.

Mediterranean restaurant
Al La Kebab is a Greek restaurant in SMB that offers a variety of vegan options on its menu. The vegan items include Falafel, Veggie Kebab (without cheese), Hummus, Tabbouleh Salad, Fattoush Salad, Greek Salad (without feta), French Fries (prepared separately from meat), White Rice, Tahini Sauce, Chilli Sauce, Mango Chutney Sauce, and Teriyaki Sauce.
This was my second time to try Al a Kebab and the first time from the iconic Purple Monster food truck/trailer on Selkirk Drive. Being unfamiliar with Greek style food, so the nice employee helped me with my order. I went with the spicy Pork Souvlaki pita wrap and the spicy Falafel pita wrap with tzatziki sauce on both with chili sauce on the Souvlaki. The order didnt take long at all and the wraps were quite large and packaged well for the ride home. Both wraps were terrific! The sauce on both was great and the chili sauce is deliciously spicy. I will defintely be back to try the different menu items and I got a rewards card for the upcoming visits.
Chuck B — Google review
The price was very expensive the fries were saggy as they were packed with sauce which is a bit overwhelming and the meat was burnt and extremely dry. First time trying but not interested in revisiting.
Sotaniya B — Google review
Do not go. I got my order wrong and I was promised a free meal deal. I asked if I it was ok to have my free meal today they ignored me. Good strategy to go there abd you will end up paying for it and no free meal . Do not go you will get wrong food once you drive back.
Astrid Z — Google review
You have to eat outside on picnic benches or take it to go. We wanted to try something different but this food had NO flavor at all. Worst tzatziki sauce I’ve ever had. I thought it was very pricey for what we got. Definitely won’t go back
Catrece H — Google review
Purchased a meal forgot to order a drink. Would not sell me a drink because it was under $5 because I only had card. Even though I ordered food previously. Right now everything else closed and mcruss card not working. No drinks in house. On island once a month won't be back. Very petty and cheap to not allow someone who purchases food to purchase a drink afterwards. Now I dont even really want my food knowing I gave my money to someone who could care less about my experience. Next time I just go subway late night. Instead of supporting the smaller local guy.
Benjamin M — Google review
I think the quality of these disco fries is getting poor & poor every day. Disco fries over the chicken tikka mild cost 15.75 KYD. Super dry, tasteless chicken doesn't have any flavour. Test like fries with grilled chicken. No matter how much chef you change your recipe should remain same. This time I really want to mention this here because the last 2 times I give feedback via messenger, unfortunately, today it happened again. This happened only in the red bay location. I will highly recommend if you have new employees you should train them with your standards of recipes.
Rushikesh K — Google review
We’ve been going to this place for 5 years but the quality of the food has gone down in the last few months severely which is really sad. The chicken is often overcooked, burnt and hard. The worst one so far was the Chicken over rice with a long strand of hair in it. It was so gross we stopped eating it. We’re probably not going back for a while after this. Not sure if it’s due to the new staff they have in the kitchen recently that are not trained properly. Really sad to see as this used to be one of our favourites.
Jenny L — Google review
The place in any time of the day is open . Do not judge by looks , you must try the food , absolutely fresh shawarma, tika chicken . And you select the sauce of your choice. The wraps were absolutely delicious . Great fries as well. A special recognition to an employee by the name of Dinesh, great personality , great customer service with a smile , seemed to love his job

10/10 great restaurant. Steaks were great. New York Oscar style and filet we had loaded baked potato, baked Mac and cheese, sweet corn bacon mashed potatoes and veggies. All were very good. Steaks cook perfect the falls sauce is good also had a bearnaise sauce as well. Great staff our waiter I wish I remembered her name. Little UK accent was amazing very welcoming and had some great conversation. Thank you a great experience

We wanted to go somewhere really nice to eat on our last day of Vacation. Saw this place had good google reviews so decided to check it out. Booking reservations online was super easy. The place is easy to get to and we were greeted right upon entering. The booths are super plush with lovely soft fabric. Tracy was our server and she was amazing. She is the real deal. She knows the menu so well and could describe any dish to us in detail that we had questions about. She had great recommendations as well. My son didnt see anything on the menu he liked so we inquired about a kids menu. They do have kids options, you just have to ask! The chicken strips and fries were a hit with him. The steak and parm crusted chicken was amazing. Highly recommend the seasonal vegetables and mashed potatoes too. Really everything we ate was phenomenal. Dessert was over the top. This was probably the 6th Sticky Toffee Pudding I had tried on the Island during our vacation - and it was hands down the best. Overall an amazing experience here and we will definitely be back the next time we visit the Island!
A. B — Google review
It’s been 9 years since we were last in Grand Cayman and had to revisit The Falls (Copper Falls) during our previous trip. The good news is that aside from the interior decor, nothing has changed. The food was excellent - filets for my wife and I and buttered pasta and chicken fingers for the kids. Service was amazing as well. For our cocktails that are included in the price of the meal, I had a classic dirty vodka Martini with my meal and my wife chose the monthly special which was a tropical-inspired number. Between the steak sauce choices, I’d recommend either the green peppercorn or the burgundy mushroom. The Falls house steak sauce was a bit too soy saucy/salty for us. Lastly, the crème brûlée dessert was immaculate. We’ll be back on Friday night to see if the weekend ribs special is as good as remembered last go around.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this remarkable steakhouse and was thoroughly impressed by both the quality of the cuisine and the exceptional level of service. The steak I ordered was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and truly outstanding. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the warm and accommodating staff. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Enrico, Ensor, and Michele for their professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality. They ensured that every aspect of my visit was flawless. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience. Thank you once again for a wonderful evening.

What a pleasant and peaceful dining experience at The Falls Steakhouse. My wife and stepdaughter had their annual girls dinner so I dipped out alone to enjoy a meal. The interior design is clean with a soft ambience that is welcoming and calm. I was greeted with delight and seated promptly. Menu’s & Specials were presented with a short description of the menu layout. I decided to tour the menu a bit and ordered abundantly. I started with the Lobster Bisque which had rich deep flavors and a great texture. For a main course I chose the Snapper with a Cream Sauce & Could Not Resist Adding a Lobster Tail. So Glad I Did!!! 8 oz. lobster Tail Prepared Perfectly. The Tail was so Delicious I Opted out of adding Butter Or Lemon. I finished with a Cappuccino & Vanilla Bread Pudding which was a great finish to a superb dining experience. I even enjoyed a cigar on the bench out front as I awaited my ride back home. I will return to this establishment. It has been added to my list.

Phenomenal experience as soon as we walked through the door. The food was absolutely amazing and Tracy our server was absolutely on point. If I could give more than five stars I absolutely would!!!

The steak will melt in your mouth. The service was even better. But to top it all off the bread pudding was the best I’ve ever had. I’ve had bread pudding everywhere I’ve traveled and this place beats them all. Highly recommend.

Absolutely incredible dining experience. The ambiance is exquisite. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The wine selection was adequate. The cocktails were well mixed. The ribeye was flavorful, tender, and perfectly prepared! The 16oz lobster tail was delicious and cooked just right. The jumbo shrimp was delicious. Ramon was such a wonderful server. Eat here!

Andiamo Circolo Sportivo is a delightful culinary gem that brings the essence of homemade Italian cuisine to life. Nestled in a picturesque setting, it offers an inviting al-fresco dining experience where guests can indulge in freshly-made pasta, hand-crafted pizzas, and exquisite antipasti. The restaurant embraces inclusivity with menus catering to gluten-free and vegan diners, ensuring everyone can enjoy their offerings.
Newly renovated, tucked away behind the pool near the main building. Open air Italian restaurant overlooking the boat dock. Everything I ordered tasted rich and indulgent. Had focaccia bread with butter, bruschetta, gnocchi, and mango sorbet. Throughly enjoyed the food and service.

Had a great experience here! We visited with four young children and they were able to accommodate us on short notice for dinner. The staff was friendly and great with our children. We ordered first for them so that their food was out while we waited for ours. This helped us get them prepared before our own food. We did the kids option that came with a meal, drink, and dessert and they really enjoyed it. It's a little pricey, but for a restaurant at the Ritz, I think it's expected. No complaints! It was good food.

I have to give Adiamo a 5 star bc overall I had the best time dining here. The ambience is nice and our waiter Herman was super friendly and provided outstanding service. We enjoyed pizza (Pere & Gargonzola), bruschetta, pasta, dessert (Hazlenut Rocher) and wine (Brunello). My kids were able to watch the movie playing outside while we finished up dinner. We also ordered Adiamo for lunch when hanging by the pool the next day- the shrimp wrap was great and my husband tried a different pizza (Mortadella).

Initially greeted by Kim. Perfect. Classy and friendly! I tried a couple of her recommendations and they were very good. Burrata / salad tasted like they were just made fresh. Chicken piccata was ok, was expecting the traditional style with lemon instead it was with tomato. Tiramisu was top-notch, pudding variety.

One of the best gluten free pizzas we have ever eaten! The crust was not like the typical flat gluten free crust but rather a moist and soft crust. Our server, Christian, was a phenomenal conversationalist and had excellent customer service. We are looking forward going back!

Casual but classy atmosphere. Exceptional Italian cuisine with a superb view of the canal behind the Ritz-Carlton. The breezy porch-like atmosphere is great for dinner or just hanging out at the bar. World-class pizza. Hats off to the chef!
Brett D — Google review
Beautiful covered, open air space with even more beautiful service. The food was well prepared, thoughtfully platted, fresh tasting and deliciously seasoned. A hidden gem in Cayman for delicious Italian food. They have the most divine coconut gelato that is dairy free but doesn’t taste dairy free. We ate it before we had a chance to take a picture. P.S. Avoid this place at all costs if you’re on a diet but have a weakness for delicious bread.

Seven Mile Beach is a picturesque coral-sand beach known for its popular snorkeling and swimming spots, as well as its line of resorts and bars. All public beaches here are very busy. Great snorkeling in most places off of beach. Lots of tourist shops and places to eat and see.

The best beach I've ever been to. The clean turquoise water is so beautiful, and convenient access to restaurants and restrooms is amazing. The color looks more vibrant in the morning and it's less crowded, so I highly recommend checking out earlier during the day.

Also another spot I recommend visiting if this is one of your ports for a cruise. This beach was spectacular. We took the bus from the Cayman Turtle Centre to here, it cost us $1 for the ride and we enjoyed the rest of the day swimming here. The white sand is sooo soft and the water is super clear. The Scoot N Tour Cayman offers a unique and enjoyable way to explore the island. Despite some minor inconveniences, such as cramped seating and technical difficulties with the iPad, it provides an unforgettable experience. The tour allows visitors to navigate the entire island on a compact scooter, providing a fun and adventurous journey.
This was so cool to do. Jermaine was so knowledgeable and explained how to operate the scooter to the tea. At 1st I was nervous cause it's GPS guided but I actually like it that way. The set up of it is so cool and it explains each stop and history of the island! Would def recommend doing this but dress accordingly cause it be hot!

Their phone was out of service but cancelled via email prior to their policy and was assured a full refund would be offered in a few days. Emailed multiple times to follow up with no response and had to get my credit card company involved. When disputed, they said I did not cancel within their policy (not true) and would not honor a refund. Not ok.

Scoot n tour is so much fun please be advised if you don't drive or have a license you shouldn't participate in this activity as a driver. Those who don't drive should sit in the passenger seat. The scoots are very small they have a trunk very small that can fit two small bags in the back. It is a wonderful fun experience but can be dangerous a little bit because of the traffic in the street. Sometimes the scoots were delayed to start but once u wait about 2 mins the engine will turn on. Do not drive it in the sand or any pot holes you will get stuck and the scoot doesn't reverse so if you do get stuck you will have to get out the scoot and push with your partner to get out. It's very easy n light to push if this happens so don't think you can't do it. We didn't use the GPS because it was a iPad that had set places kind of difficult to work and our phones had service all over the island so we used our phones for gps and that's how we got around. Overall we had a great time shout outs to Jermaine he was truly a big help. Great service fun activity to do real quick on ya vacation. We choose the west tour package for $199 plus 40$ for insurance. It was a 4 hour self tour no one takes you or guides you. But their is always a gps on ya phone or you can pay extra for the iPad gps that comes with it. So about $248 with tax tops you'll pay for 2 people. It went by so quickly but I think it was just a perfect amount of time to enjoy Grand cayman.

Such a fun experience!! We had a blast learning to drive on the opposite side of the road and Scoot N around the island. The scooter performed exactly as advertised and Jermaine M. was there to help with all of our questions! Awesome Customer Service! If you get the GPS guided tour, ear buds might be helpful. We highly recommend trying this place out for your next adventure!
Autumn F — Google review
The employees were so incredibly nice and helpful!!!! We LOVED our tour and we especially loved that we could detour and the iPad tour guide would just pick up where we left off. Saw lots of points of interest we would have never discovered without this tour. Super fun!!

I believe they may be closed down. We had made reservations for 2/15/25 and arrived to find the trailer office closed and no one around. The mechanic shop next door said they hadn't been there in a few weeks and that we were not the first people who had reservations and didn't get them. They responded quickly to an email I sent and said a refund had been processed on the Monday before (and an email sent) but neither of these was ever received. I had to contact our credit card company and dispute it. I appreciated their quick response, but they need to shut down their website or put a note about not accepting any more reservations if they are having difficulties. I continued to get emails from their reservation system asking how our tour went (that we weren't able to take).
Michelle-Randy C — Google review
Lots of fun. The cars do not keep up with cars on the main road around the island. Once you get out of port area the cars drive faster, so this was a little uncomfortable to be backing up cars behind us. If you do not opt for the tour with GPS, be sure to have GPS access on your phones through international data plans. That was a little strange to only use a map that was a touristy map and not traditional road map. This was fun though, we would probably do it again, just we learned things that would prepare us more for the next time.

The Cayman Craft Market is a vibrant open-air marketplace located on George Town Harbour, showcasing local artisans and their traditional handcrafted products. Visitors can find a variety of items such as thatch, leather, shell, and wood crafts, as well as dolls, jewelry, and Cayman Tropical fruit-based hair and skin care products.
Great stop for downtown shopping. The tables have unique items to take home from vacation. When we went there were great handmade jewelry and crafts and a table with local hot sauces, jams, and spices I couldn’t find anywhere else. Very conveniently located too. Wouldn’t miss it!
Richard C — Google review
Honestly, I expected to see a ton of stores or at least more tents and merchants. I was disappointed when I saw 4-5 people running 3 tents. There wasn't a lot of variety. We wanted to support locals or people that handcraft, instead we had to go to the souvenir store down the street (which had basically the same exact stuff at a cheaper price despite being told by the merchants that their prices are the lowest). I understand competition, but don't lie, it's not worth the $2 difference.
Joseph H — Google review
Easy walk from cruise ship. The vendors are very friendly and not overly aggressive. The prices are reasonable. I wish there were more vendors. Heroes square and the library are nearby. The library has free wifi and lots of tourist booklets.
JOHN J — Google review
This was a really fun place to shop! It was a rainy, icky day when our cruise ship came into port, so we just strolled around town near the dock. I had seen on Google Maps that there was a craft market not far away, so we headed that way. There were only about 5 booths set up, but the merchandise was nice. Handmade jewelry made of shells and local materials. Some cloth goods and crocheted items. We got into a long conversation with one of the merchants named Rosemary. She was so friendly and full of good will and advice. She has a wonderful island voice, and was simply a joy to talk to. We ended up getting Christmas gifts for all our female family members at the market for really great prices. I'm so glad we stopped there!

The crafters have their tables set up and working on their crafts throughout the day. A must stop place for local art.

Cool little outdoor craft market! A lot of the vendors create their wares while you wait! My wife really enjoyed looking through the tents.

Nice, but there were fewer vendors since there weren't that many boats docked on the day we visited. I met some nice people, and bought an adorable doll.

Fort George Ruins, one of the oldest structures in Cayman, dates back to around 1790 and was constructed with coral rock to accommodate eight cannons. The site features a vibrant three-piece mural depicting the fort's history. While some may find its rustic appearance charming, others feel it could benefit from more attention and funding from the local government. Conveniently located near the port terminal, it offers a quick historical stop for visitors with limited time.
A quick walk through, nice park,🌹🍀

I decided to take a leisurely stroll during my visit and came upon this historical site. This is located right outside the port terminal, so it's easy for visitors to get to. I didn't know much about the Cayman Islands, but any amount of history is appreciated. Although it's a smaller historical site, I suggest every person visit.

Quick 15 minute stop to read about the Fort George. It’s in a busy location, but there is parking available and lots of stores and good restaurants. Is busy when cruise ships are in, but otherwise not so busy area
Mian M — Google review
Just some small ruins, an observation tower and a couple cannons. Almost nothing left, due to it being knocked down by developers some decades ago. It's a shame the government of Cayman does not seem to care about preserving what little history they have.

Some might view this place in other light but I believe the rustic dirty look works for it. Almost like a fisherman town vibe. Little shops all around. Being a tourist I don’t know much about the area but I just feel it needs slightly more attention from the local govn’t with as much funding as it can. A lot of people want to come see this.

Seafood restaurant
Restaurant
Perched on the edge of the ocean with stunning views of George Town harbor and Seven Mile Beach, Lobster Pot offers a delectable menu centered around fresh seafood. Diners rave about the Cayman Trio featuring broiled lobster tail, grilled wahoo, and garlic shrimp. The restaurant also excels in steaks, offering popular dishes like Surf and Turf NY Strip and Reef and Beef Filet Mignon. Despite its unassuming exterior, Lobster Pot boasts charming marine-themed decor inside.
Cannot fault it: great food, fresh, generous portions and great views. We had 5 in our party so got to try quite a range and while budgets weren’t stretching to $60 for a lobster tail, pop just what we had was great. The sandwiches came with a generous portion of fries, the lobster salad had generous pieces of lobster and everything was fresh and lovely. Just need to be careful of opening times as it closes between lunch and dinner. On a practical note, the sign outside was confusing as it suggested it was only open certain days for lunch, but we were fine on a Tuesday. Friday they do burgers which seems to be restricted to that day.

We came back here for our 10th anniversary to the island of Grand Cayman and celebrate our anniversary dinner here at the lobster pot. The food is delicious on our server was very attentive and we felt like we were very special guests knowing it was our anniversary. We shared a bowl of lobster bisque soup as well as their Cayman trio dinner. For dessert we had a key lime pie with mango sauce. It was to die for by far the best key lime pie we had and the mango sauce is what made the big difference. We also enjoyed the sunset from the beautiful dining patio seating. Highly recommend this place for at least one of your meals!!🥰❤️
Kathy C — Google review
Watching the sunset, the comfortable sea breeze, and the many fish swimming leisurely in the water... all this beauty was ruined by the excessive mosquito bites outside... so we had to move indoors to eat. The interior is old-fashioned and you have to walk up stairs to get to the restaurant (I don't know if there is an elevator). French snails are the appetizer we often order, but the taste here may be innovative and different from the traditional taste... Caribbean lobster tails are a must-order dish whenever I see one, but was I unlucky today? The taste and texture were disappointing, with a chewy texture. If you are afraid of mosquitoes, don't sit outside to eat. Many people go indoors because of this. I am very troubled by mosquito bites on my skin. ……

It's simple: This is the one meal from your vacation you won't soon forget. The most established restaurant in George Town has earned its longstanding reputation. From the moment the door opens, every detail sets the tone. With one of the most stunning views on the island, a perfectly curated menu, exceptional cocktails, and warm, bespoke service at surprisingly reasonable price; It’s an experience that defines Cayman dining whether you're a local or here for a day. You might expect a restaurant so close to the cruise port to be a tourist trap, but you’d be completely wrong. This is authentic island hospitality paired with world-class food. Thank you for being a highlight of our trip.

Excellent sunset dinner experience. There is a beautiful view of the water from the patio seating and we had a lovely meal of fresh seafood. There are shades on the patio. We started with a cocktail. I had the spicy Maggie and it had some good heat from the scotch bonnet tequila! Then we split the coconut shrimp and jerk pulled pork spring rolls. They were delicious!! I also tried the conch chowder. It was good with lots of meat but I probably wouldn't order again. Then we split the yellow curry seafood, Cayman trio, and fresh grouper of the day blackened. All were amazing. Seafood was super fresh and well prepared. So many flavors. We finished with the creme brulee if the day which was white chocolate and raspberry. It was very tasty!! Service was excellent. Well timed and very friendly. We arrived around 545 and had no wait.

Our visit to The Lobster Pot was absolutely wonderful! The setting alone is worth it — we sat out on the outdoor patio overlooking the water, where the views were breathtaking and the fans kept the evening comfortable and bug-free. One of the highlights was the fish feeding experience, which my 4-year-old got to participate in — such a fun and unique touch that made the evening extra special. The service was top notch from start to finish — warm, attentive, and professional without ever feeling rushed. Every dish was prepared perfectly, from the fresh seafood to the flavorful sides, and the drinks were equally impressive. You can truly taste the care and quality in everything they serve. If you’re looking for a beautiful waterfront dining experience in Grand Cayman with great food, excellent service, and a family-friendly atmosphere, The Lobster Pot is a must!

I had an unforgettable dining experience at Lobster pot where both the steak and seafood were absolutely outstanding. The steak was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor! What really set this visit apart, was the service. Hayley and the team went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable meal. Hayley was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations. The entire staff were warm and professional, making us feel like valued guests throughout the evening. All in all, it was a top-notch experience, and I can’t wait to return for another round of delicious food and excellent service!

One of the best restaurants I visited in Grand Cayman! As a bread pudding lover, I can say it's one of the finest I've ever had! I even returned just for dessert the night after dining in, and I plan to go back before I leave the island! The lobster thermidor was also delicious! P.S. Be sure to ask for Lee; he went above and beyond to make my experience wonderful.

Dairy Queen is a classic burger & fries fast-food chain that serves soft serve ice cream and signature shakes. The staff is friendly and the store is clean. If you're from Texas, you know this place doesn't disappoint in flavor or service.
The treats were great and the service was excellent! It was nice to stop by on a hot day!!! I went back 2 days later! You can park just around the corner if there's no space at the front of the store. It is a waterfront site and everyone can't be privileged to park at the front door. The security guard will show you. Just ask.

We love their ice cream, just a pity that they're often out of some of their menu items. Doesn't stop us from making a weekly trip. Great to have a cold ice cream while looking over the cruise ships in the harbor

Been to Grand Cayman twice and saw this place both times. Not like you'd see in the USA, but I'm sure their food is just as good! We didn't eat there since we prefer local food to try out for our lunches while at the ports. It was pretty cool seeing this place though.
Robby — Google review
Ordered 8 sundae, I was asked which flavor I said 1 caramel fudge and the rest is chocolate. The lady gave us 1 caramel fudge and the rest is chocolate syrup. Im confuse and told her this is not what we order and she just said “you said chocolate” and turn her back at me. She was really rude and unapologetic. You need to treat your customer better than this. Im a regular customer, I buy from west Bay and town and this is the first time I have seen this staff and If you are not sure what is sundae mean then better ask the customer if they want the regular sundae or the syrup because I always get sundae with the fudge and this is the first time they put chocolate syrup instead of fudge in my ice cream. If the lady staff was not so rude I wont be writing a review but turning your back to your customer while they are talking to you was not nice at all. Worst customer service.
Christine A — Google review
Unbelievable how customer service just does not matter! We just went in and out the shop because there was no one in the front and when she showed up, she was texting on her cell phone and did not acknowledge us. Surprisingly enough, it was a young Philipina, with a very arrogant attitude. Never happened before. We got quite offended and simply left. Never again!
Jane R — Google review
I absolutely love Dairy Queen and probably would live off of their blizzards if I could. Service is always great and they're open long hours for those working late. Prices are amazingly cheap for such good quality ice cream and it is in a great location for tourists to access. 10/10.

Da Fish Shack is a charming seaside eatery with a cozy atmosphere, housed in a traditional Caymanian architecture made from an old fishing vessel. The deck offers stunning water views and refreshing breezes, creating a laid-back Caribbean vibe. The restaurant prides itself on sourcing fresh, local ingredients and has strong relationships with local fishermen who often deliver their catch directly to the dock.
We were thrilled to find this fabulous restaurant! After a successful day fishing and catching a Wahoo, we were uncertain how to have it cooked. After calling Da Fish Shack, we were happy to be informed that they could cook up our catch in a family style taco platter as well as a ceviche dish. The cook did an exceptional job and we had a meal that was out of this world! Highly recommend this restaurant right on the water with amazing service, food, and drinks!

Located in Grand Cayman, Hell is a small village known for its peculiar black limestone rock formations that resemble the underworld. Despite its religious community, the residents of Hell have a sense of humor and offer postcards from 'Hell' at the bright red post office. Visitors can also explore a gift shop where 'Satan' distributes souvenirs. With only 60 inhabitants, this quirky village also boasts a restaurant and bar.
Mel, daughter of Ivan, was super fun and enthusiastic about her father's creation of this fun little tourist spot. She was endlessly kind and told us all about her father and grandfather's military histories (US and British maritime) and how Ivan came to open up the shop. You can buy a postcard from Hell and post it in the shop as it has a postbox inside. Can't wait to arrive home and see my postcard sent from 'Hell'! Thank you Mel also for the fresh aloe which you gave me for my sunburnt face - so kind of you! Love to your family.

Free to view a few limestone rock formations. Kind of a fun and interesting stop. Spent 20 minutes there with a cute gift shop you can mail postcards from Hell Grand Cayman. Wouldn't go out of my way to see, but interesting tourist stop to learn more about the island.

Go for the novelty and to see the rocks. We were there mid day and there weren't any birds to observe. Take a letter to mail back home or to send to a friend to prove " you've been to hell and back" lol. 2 small gift shops and a post office. To see the rock formations there's a short level path leading to a viewing deck all on the same level. One man on the tour was using a motorized scooter with no trouble but to get in the buildings you need to climb a few steps. No ramps available. Public restrooms . No charge to see the formations or parking.

Well, I finally made it to hell and back. The locals play up the theme perfectly and made our trip to Hell worth while. The gift shop was delightfully kitschy- you can send postcards, chatb it up with the devil herself and dint forget to buy some hellish souvenirs to bring back just to prove you made it out alive.

Took our kids here years ago. Came back just hubby and I on a recent cruise. It seemed so much bigger the first time and not as run down. Cool little stop to take photos or send a postcard from Hell. Probably one trip here is enough.

Stop in for a photo to say you've been to hell! Send a postcard, buy hell merch and talk to the owner. They will ask.."Where the hell are you from?" They are alot of fun to talk to. As you stroll through this vibrant area, you'll encounter impressive sculptures and art installations that pay tribute to both historical figures and contemporary heroes who have shaped the islands. Nestled between the Public Library and CIBC bank, it serves as a central hub for locals and visitors alike. The square's strategic location near the Central Bus Station makes it easily accessible for those exploring the town.
Had a wonderful visit to the island during our cruise. Heroes Square was still under construction but still had some great sculptures in place to see. Love the island and the locals were very polite and friendly.

For a small country it is very proud of the accomplishments of its people. The Square honors some from the distant past but many whose contributions are more recent. It's located in the heart of the business district and seat of parliament. The public bus stop is very close. The foot traffic must be very good because of the location which makes this an easy attraction to visit.

Lots of interesting things to see here.

An attractive square with fountains, sculptures and monument to all the National Heroes of Cayman. Unfortunately there’s no seating (head across to the Centennial Park outside the library for seats) unless you perch on the wall around the fountains - they aren’t always operational so you may stay dry.

Antique store
Shopping
Artifacts LTD in George Town, Grand Cayman is a unique shopping destination offering a diverse range of items including antiques, shipwreck treasures, and local crafts. The store boasts an impressive collection of antiques that are over 100 years old such as maps, china, estate jewelry, and silver. Notably, they are known for their collectible coins salvaged from shipwrecks.
I have been to various shops all over the world that carry "pirate coins" (antique Spanish silver and gold coins). And I have purchased many over the years. Artifacts has some of the very best pricing I have seen anywhere. Charles and his staff are incredibly knowledgeable and kind and love teaching about their artifacts if you care to learn! I went several times during my stay and walked away with several genuine Spanish coins as well as an antique telescope. So, if you have any interest in Spanish treasure coins and other artifacts, (not to mention Greek, Roman, and others!), it is definitely worth a look!

The woman that owns/works here is extremely rude and condescending. I would never support this business again with such poor customer care and service and I am not a cruise ship guest, I’am a frequent flyer to the Cayman islands for business. You’re better off purchasing your ship wreck coins from Florida.

Artifacts has so many incredible items, from ancient Greek coins to shipwrecked porcelain. Definitely the place to go for unique gifts with amazing history. Highly knowledgeable staff and excellent quality pieces!
Rachael C — Google review
This shop is down the street from the cruise ship dock, to the right facing town, about two blocks ir so. Nice air conditioned shop, even had a ramp so my wife’s wheelchair could get in. Their stock consists of shipwreck cojns, mounted for jewelry and loose, some ceramics, old maps. The real deal. The lady that helped me was very nice. I left with an almost 2000 year old bronze commemorative coin struck to commemorate the Bible story of the widow who left her last coins for the collection plate. Really neat items. Stop in!

AMAZING STORE! During my trip to the Cayman Islands, I visited the Artifacts Store and had an amazing experience. The store, filled with exquisite local artwork, jewelry, coins and decor, is a true gem. The knowledgeable and friendly staff provided fascinating insights into the pieces, enhancing the experience. The ambiance was charming, making it a serene place to shop. I loved supporting local artists and left with beautiful souvenirs that reflect the rich culture of the islands. I highly recommend the Artifacts Store to anyone visiting the Cayman Islands—it's a must-visit for unique and meaningful finds.

Decided to visit this store during our trip to Grand Cayman. Yes, the place is small, but they do have a lot of interesting items, including caymanite statues and sunken treasure pieces. The staff were very knowledgeable and accommodating. I purchased my wife some caymanite earrings, but couldn't find a necklace piece that quite matched. My only regret is not being able to buy this caymanite shark statue, due to fear of it breaking on the trip home. Highly recommend you stop it, just remember to shut the door behind you, as A/C costs money people.

One of the most unique shops you will find in downtown Georgetown! They have everything from shipwrecked coins to ancient Roman and Greek coins to jewelry to shipwrecked porcelain to cigar cases! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and willing to share all they know plus it's nice that it's a family business so it feels like you are getting a very personalized experience! Prices here vary greatly from $5 all the way into the $1000's. Definitely worth a stop (even if you don't end up buying anything)!
Jenna H — Google review
An excellent find of real artifacts and treasures from shipwrecks and salvage (with proof of authenticity). They do have antiques here as well as items actually from antiquity (e.g. Roman arrowheads). The employees are quite knowledgeable but also are not pushy. There was no pressure to buy anything. In a desert of tourist trap junk stores, this shop is a welcome oasis and a must visit while in port.

Wedding photographer
Cathy Church's Photo Centre, nestled at Sunset House just a short drive from George Town, is a must-visit for anyone captivated by the underwater world. Renowned for her stunning photography of marine life, Cathy offers an impressive collection of prints ranging from charming postcards to striking large posters—perfect keepsakes to remember your Cayman adventure. The gallery showcases vibrant images of turtles, coral reefs, and sharks that truly capture the essence of the ocean.
The place to go to learn underwater photography! Great instruction from the staff, from Maria, to Cathy herself. I was with Maria and had a great experience. Planing on a return trip to do more underwater work. Bit of history as well in the office with the visitor's. Clive Cussler, James, Cameron, Jose Andres, among many others. Unsure about some of the other reviews... The team at Cathy's Church was super responsive, patient, and incredibly helpful in both recommendations on photo equipment, the class itself (both an in office component, and a dive session). There is a photography book that is really neat you should check out, as well as fantastic art.

Always a great experience...been on island for 11 years and have been to Cathys church from quite some time, it gets better everytime I've visit there. They have a wide variety of products pretaining to photography, be it under water photography or in the air photography like drones or your regular cameras .... Love the fact that you just carry pictures on your phone, when you reach there connect it to the automatic kiosk through an app and print any size you need, right from passport size pictures to the bigger size ones. And if you need a lovely frame it's right there for you to choose. They have it all for a quick stop for all your photography needs and accessories

Overall: Cathy Church is knowledgeable about everything you need to know and do to maximize your time photographing underwater. The Camera: Cathy and her staff had already worked out the best settings for my underwater camera through extensive testing and provided me with a handy "cheat sheet" I could refer to for subsequent dives. She had the most brilliant lecture on f-stops I've ever heard. Lighting: We had a great tutorial in the studio with a stuffed fish as a model where we discussed the different angles of lighting based on subject matter. It was good planning to cover this in depth when it was easy to communicate before going underwater where my attention was divided between photography and scuba protocols. Biology: Cathy's background in biology was amazing - she knows a lot about the reef and the creatures that live there. I left the class with a much deeper appreciation for the ecology of the reef and the challenges specific to the Cayman Islands. Staff: I didn't have a diving certification (I would definitely get that before returning for another class), but Cathy knew the staff at Sunset House and quickly arranged a resort class with Jonelle Johnson-Turner to train me up (and as a bonus, my husband was able to join us for the dive). The Dive: I felt completely safe in Jonelle's hands with Cathy as my photo guide even though it had been 20 years since I'd been scuba diving. Cathy had a notepad to aid in communication underwater and knew several beautiful subjects to maximize the number of different shots we could get in our limited time underwater. She also made sure that we had a full tank of air before diving so we could have more time on the reef and helped me get my diving weights correctly put on for photographing underwater. Not only is Cathy a great photographer and teacher - and her staff top-notch - but also she truly loves what she does and instills a sense of wonder. I loved my time underwater and can't wait to come back for another class!

One of the best little secrets on the island. For any photography buff this is the place to go and get your gear and have some like minded people to talk to. It's a great little shop that is pretty well stocked and has a great and friendly staff and atmosphere. You can do all sorts of prints and even custom print jobs.

Meeting Cathy Church, a legend in underwater photography, was a personal highlight for me during my family's recent stay at Sunset House in Grand Cayman. Her gallery of underwater photo art is amazing! On the retail side, for me, a sure test of an establishment's people's character is whether there is a difference in my treatment in relation to the amount of money I spend with them. Ms. Church was friendly and helpful even though none of my family bought anything of real consequence in her store. Her staff answered every question I had about my existing photo equipment and about possible future buys. On my next trip there, I will upgrade some of my gear and take a course with Ms. Church

Something for everyone! This was an amazing find. The public bus won't go here, but it's an $8 cab ride from Georgetown or a 20 min walk. Way cooler than anything you'll find downtown. Regardless of your budget, there is something here for you from original $1,000 paintings to hand made $8 rings.

Located directly on the waterfront in George Town, Sharkeez is a fantastic eatery that offers an outstanding breakfast selection. In addition to serving popular American classics like The Full Monty, Eggs Benedict, and French Toast, they also provide fast food options at great prices. With a breathtaking view of the bay, this place is perfect for relaxing away from the city's hustle and bustle. The vibrant atmosphere is enhanced by great music and drinks that make you want to return every day.
I got off the tender from the ship in front of Sharkeez and noticed it was packed. I wrongly assumed they would be the heighth of Cayman Island tourist traps, I was wrong. We walked down the harbour and found other tourist traps that pounced on tourist bucks much more overtly than Sharkeez. Sharkeez provided menu deals and drinks deals that were ideal, we should've started here, we would never have left.

Stopped in for lunch while walking around in Georgetown. We sat on the 2nd floor overlooking the ocean and street. Corina our waitress was very friendly and not pushy. The coconut shrimp and house salad were fantastic. Great views and service, highly recommended.
Scott P — Google review
Beautiful view! The food was typical of a tourist bar and grill. We tried the fried shrimp and fries. 🍤🍟 Expected regular/local shrimp but it tasted like frozen/bag shrimp. Not many vegetarian options. The drinks were really good. 🍹Located on the second floor and is walking distance from the port.

Lunch today was great at Sharkeez. My wife and I had a hungry 9yo on our hands and we were looking for a good local place. This didn’t disappoint! We had the conch fritters, pulled pork sandwich, chicken tenders, and the fish sandwich (half of which is pictired). Delicious all the way around, a great value for the money, and excellent friendly service!

We stopped on a cruise and I purchased a White Tip beer for $5.00 around the corner at the Caribbean Kitchen. (Which I recommend) Later we went to Sharkeez and I also drank White Tip beer which on the menu said $5.95. When we got our bill they said that was not in American dollars and doubled our bill. How can a White Tip beer be posted $5.00 in American dollars in one place and then posted as $5.95 at Sharkeez and say not in American dollars. We were clearly ripped off, which is just not acceptable! I will say the staff was nice and friendly but buyer beware. Beautiful views of the water from the upstairs balcony was the highlight!!

We stopped here during a cruise stop in Grand Cayman. Got to say, this was one of our favorite spots. The beautiful views from the upper decks, along with great service made this a favorite of our group. In particular, the bartender (Jr.?) was so fun and engaging. Totally made the stop a great choice! I highly recommend you check it out if you are in the area!

Great food, fantastic service and ideal location if you don’t want to venture too far off the cruise. We enjoyed the buffalo and Kraken BBQ chicken wings! Thoroughly enjoyed.

Sharkeez - Located right in the heart of Grand Cayman's George Town - We were a party of 4. The hostess was very accommodating. We stopped in for drinks and lunch. The food was great (I had an awesome burger with fries) and our server did an great job. Large menu and as reasonably priced as you can get in Grand Cayman. Nice drink/beer/wine selection. While eating our lunch, their business picked up mid afternoon to a fifteen minute wait. You need to walk upstairs to reach this restaurant/bar. You have the option of eating outside on the balcony or inside with air conditioning. There is a great view of the bay and cruise ships in port. We will be back!

Sunset House is a charming seaside hotel located on the ironshore south of George Town, offering simple accommodations with varying decor and conditions. The hotel prides itself on being a top diving spot, providing specific diving packages that include trips to famous wrecks and diving training. Guests can enjoy comfortable rooms with flat-screen TVs and Wi-Fi, an onsite swimming pool, and water sports opportunities. Additionally, the hotel features a laid-back restaurant serving fresh seafood and a bar with an Indian menu.
I’m no connoisseur of dive resorts but I didn’t see any room for improvement. The dive crew was outstanding, we were with jack, bas, and mc. They were a great time AND safe, handled our diverse group of new and experienced divers very well. Food and drinks were top notch. Regular bar food and really good Indian food. Can’t go wrong. Service was solid. Room was nice, cleaned, restocked every day. They took us to some fantastic dive sites, I don’t think any of them were more than a half hour boat ride away. But the shore diving was honestly equally good. Some of the coolest stuff we saw was right there at the resort. A nurse shark, turtles, eels, barracuda, flounders, 2 scorpion fish, a squid, an octopus, a freaking mantis shrimp… all sited right there without even getting on the boat. Would love to come back.
Nick S — Google review
Sunset House caters to divers and does that exceptionally well. Dive staff are extremely knowledgeable and laser focused on safety. Over five days, we dove with Captain Alex, Justin, MC, and Jack. All were very pleasant, attentive, and fun. The catamarans made for very nice, stable platform. The other staff all workec together to efficiently and quickly load and unload our gear. Rooms are clean, well maintained and comfortable. There is a wide selection of food and drinks. The food was very tasty with ample portions. I would definately stay here again on my next dive visit.

I was a guest at the Sunset House. I utilized the snorkeling and diving facilities off the back of the property. I was very impressed. I love the map that shows the underwater landscape of their back ocean area. I would love to visit again and dive more. There were also several beautiful dive boats moored off the back for hotel guests. The tiki bar was also beautiful.

My friend and I ate at their restaurant for lunch during our scuba diving surface interval before our second dive. The mango daiquiri mocktails and shrimp quesadillas were very good. The staff was friendly and courteous. I love that there were canopies and humongous floor fans because it was a very hot afternoon.

Great resort and great dive operation. Spent a week here with a total of 11 dives. Very pleased with my stay and hope to return again. Resort: All the staff were wonderful. Friendly and helpful. Large clean room with comfortable beds, great hot shower and loved our second-floor ocean view room. Daily housekeeping. Great layout along the ocean. Loved their freshwater pool. Very nice bar/restaurant area with large menu. Food quality varied but overall satisfying. Dive Operation: Excellent! I only did boat dives. Good routine of dive staff loading and unloading all gear from boats. Staff will assist upon request- they were very helpful to me. They helped me swap tanks between dives. Each Captain and DM was knowledgeable and attentive. The dive briefing style was unique-a 3D image of site rather than the usual whiteboard drawing! Each dive had a guided tour portion followed by free time before ascending. DM or Captain pointed out interesting fish and always keeping an eye on us. My favorite dives were the USS Kittiwake and the Devil’s Grotto. Special thanks to my Boat Captains Tyler and Mel; and DMs Beck, Jay and Jess!!

Bread and Chocolate Vegan Bistro is a charming all-vegan restaurant located in the picturesque Cayman Islands. The bistro offers an extensive menu with delectable options like Pulled Porkless Sliders made with roasted barbecue jackfruit and crunchy slaw, as well as Angus Beet Burger with garlic aioli on a sesame-seed bun. The colorful walls adorned with a hand-painted slogan add to the inviting ambiance.
I’ve been here twice now when in port for cruises and it’s become our must-do stop on Caymen. They serve a few local beers and a variety of plant based dishes for breakfast and lunch. Their Philly sandwich is amazing. And a faux conch fritter is a great touch. A quick walk from the cruise port makes it an easy, friendly, and tasty experience. Highly recommended for vegans and veggies. Oh and the homemade scotch bonnet hot sauce is tasty and HOT. Glad I tried it! We’ll be back!

Awesome Vegan find through the Happy Cow app. All 5 of us loved our meals. Island Bowl very flavorful and filling Bread and Chocolate was a very large portion. Eggplant Escovich a bit heavy on onions but very good. Avocado Roast also good. Very generous portions. They were a little overwhelmed with lunch crowd so it took a little while for food.

We visited 12 years ago and I still dream about this place. We're back this week and happy to see everything still the same. The "tuna" salad and home fries were perfection. Bread and chocolate with maple syrup us worthy of the restaurant title. And that bread. In not vegan and I'd eat here every week, or every other day, if I lived here. Well done!

Got the sliders, a coffee, a tea, and an ice cream topped brownie. Loved the seitan slider the best! I’d come back for a full sandwich. This cafe is cute and a whole vibe. Locals come here and get takeout. We hung out and used their WiFi for a few hours, super chill and really enjoyed working in a local space. It was so nice to have delicious food readily available when we got snacky.

Wow.. The food at Bread and Chocolate is fantastic. I've eaten here about 4 times (breakfast, brunch, and dinner) and each time was special. All of their soup specials were amazing. Try the "Bread and Chocolate" meal for breakfast. Also, the "Island Bowl" Mmmm. The "Three Tacos" and "Cheesy Broccoli Soup" (vegan of course) were so good. I can't wait to return.

We stumbled upon Bread and Chocolate while walking through George Town sightseeing. We decided to stop in and have an early lunch even though we weren't hungry, simply because it was so exciting to discover a vegan restaurant! My wife and I both had the Island Bowl, which was filling and absolutely delicious (jerk tofu -- who'd have thought?), and the conk fritters, which were delightful. Although we were stuffed, we went ahead and got some macaroons to go... OMG, they were fabulous! Service was friendly and attentive, and the cafe itself inviting and comfortable.

Located on South Church Street in Grand Cayman, the Grand Old House offers an extraordinary dining experience in an authentic Caribbean plantation house with mesmerizing oceanfront views. This highly acclaimed waterfront restaurant boasts an award-winning wine collection and a lavish seafood spread, combining old world charm with contemporary elegance. The restaurant is renowned for its romantic vibe, stunning seaside veranda, and impeccable hospitality. Additionally, it serves as a popular wedding venue with beach access for ambiance and formal indoor spaces for receptions.
This historic house is a gorgeous setting for a meal - the outdoor deck overlooking the sea gave us spectacular views at sunset. Additionally, the food was all delicious and the service was five-star. The wine collection and rooms inside were also incredibly impressive.

Unbelievable views of the water. The entire area of outdoor seating is feet from the Caribbean. Food is spectacular as well! We had the Grouper and the risotto for entrees and had the lobster bisque/potato leek soup/their spin on a wedge salad. The staff was also incredible, we didn’t have to wait for anything. Water and drink refills before the last drop was even drunken, general check-ins and attentiveness, and plates were whisked away the moment they were emptied! Everything was absolutely phenomenal. 10/10 can’t recommend enough!

The atmosphere was beautifully romantic, creating the perfect setting for a special evening. The food was truly outstanding—rich in flavor and full of character, each dish was a delight. My husband and I got the pleasure of eating here while visiting for a work conference. Here is what we loved: - The staff was absolutely amazing. When the rains hit, they quickly moved us to an indoor table. - the views! Completely unobstructed views of the gorgeous ocean. - the food was fantastic. From the conk and lamb appetizers to the lobster bisque to the crab-crusted grouper and the perfectly cooked filet all the way to the lemon raspberry tart and the chocolate tart. It was all amazing. - spot-on service. We never had to flag anyone down or wait long for anything - from an extra napkin, a dropped utensil, butter, another glass of wine…the service was impeccable. What we could change if we could… - the rain…but, alas, we can’t change mother nature.

I love watches and went as my shore excursion. Truly zero pressure and they gladly let me handle a few of my favorites. Very knowledgeable and fun to talk with. I ended up buying a Tudor Black Bay. I live in NYC so zero tax was appealing. Furthermore I couldn't find my receipt when I got home and they emailed a copy without a hassle. Looking back I would've spent more time and looked at their jewelry which i also enjoy. So rare to find a place where you can enjoy shopping without pressure/hassle. Thanks.

We find a nice souvenirs store with a great choice. Friendly staff.

Refused to be of service for watch cleaning terrible company zero help. If you need local help go to D's Jewelry they help instantly. Service Department needs to be better.

Pascal was wonderful helping us look at Rolex watches. Very informative and pleasant. Highly recommend!!

We went to Bayshore Mall to buy some perfume yestereday. That was never a pleasant experience, the staff is not really friendly, unapproachable and not smiling. Probably the worst customer service experience I have ever had. The staff should have had proper training on how to deal with the customers and the owner should hire a fresh one and younger employees not like them yesterday.

Knowledgeable staff. Great selection. Margarita did an excellent job. She goes by Maggie. They know a ton about jewelry. I would actually go to this location before I visited the Westin, The Ritz-Carlton, The Strand or The Bayshore Mall. A great place to build a relationship. They will get your watch it's just a matter of how long it takes.

Seafood restaurant
Guy Harvey's Boathouse Grill is a waterfront restaurant located in downtown George Town, offering a mix of West Indian and French cuisine. The restaurant features special nights with discounted dishes like Crab Cakes, Lobster, and NY Steak and Fries. The decor is adorned with marine wildlife artwork by Guy Harvey himself. Absolutely fantastic. Came in with a family of 9 great service adisha was our server. He was very friendly and answered all of our questions and was quick and attentive. Food was amazing we got lobster tails fish and chips pork belly and the shrimp. All of it was fantastic. Worth every penny.

Great lunch at Guy Harvey's Boathouse! Made reservation a few weeks prior. However, since our cruise was the only ship in port that day, there was no need. Deck seating had a beautiful water view. It was a little hot out there on this day, so we moved inside. Crab cake & mussels appetizers were tasty. Blackened Mahi-Mahi sandwich with sweet potato fries cooked & seasoned perfectly. The highlight of our meal were the desserts! Rum cake with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce was divine. Banoffee pie in a jar is a perfect combination & creation of flavors. Service team are wonderful. Do keep in mind they are on "island time" not "city time" if that is what you're used to. Highly recommend for a port lunch after some shopping. Guy Harvey's store and gallery right next door, also close to mall outdoor area. Enjoy!

Good food! Ceaser salad was exceptionally delicious. Beautiful atmosphere. Service was a little slow but not awful. Coffee is really good as well..

Great food service and location. Had the shrimp roll sandwich and Caesar salad. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Sat on the deck with port overlook. Did not get a photo of my lunch had already finished.

This was an accidental, but fortuitous find! Located above the White whale pub & ale, I didn’t notice it in google maps when looking for a nearby restaurant while we were shopping and touring the downtown area. We were able to walk right in at opening and get a corner seat overlooking the waterfront and streets below. The shade and breeze was perfect for keeping us cool. We enjoyed excellent service, refreshing Cayman Spritz’s, and delicious, well prepared lunch meals. You absolutely must try the Banoffee pie in a jar for dessert! Someone bottled a bit of heaven to serve up. 😋

Came here on Good Friday, while here on vacation. Had delicious chicken club, and blackened Mahi sandwiches. My son had Mac and Cheese, and the sticky Toffee dessert. Loved the atmosphere/view from the patio. The food was all amazing. Service was excellent

We stopped by for happy hour and some appetizers. We had Conch Fritters, Crab cakes, garlic cheese bread, and some spicy tuna sushi. Sushi was very good. The other apps were good. Nice location. Very pricy. Biggest drawback is that people were smoking at the outside bar.

We have stopped in to the Boathouse the last few times cruise ships have brought us to Grand Cayman. It's an easy walk from the tender boat drop off. We always enjoy the locally brewed beers and quick bites. Good vibes every time. You can't go wrong here.

Restaurant
The Brasserie, located in Cricket Square, offers a diverse menu featuring sandwiches, salads, soups, hot lunches, pastries and coffee. Their daily specials are regularly updated on their Facebook page. The restaurant prides itself on using locally sourced ingredients with a Caribbean touch. The decor exudes a natural ambiance with furniture made of natural materials and walls adorned with tropical flora art.
This restaurant is simply outstanding. The service, the food and wine was all top-notch. It was a short 15 minute walk from the cruise ship drop off. It offers a relaxed, casual environment that is yet very professional. Dress code is business casual including golf shirts and golf shorts. The Caribbean chicken special was simply top-notch. The Chinese vegetable soup was very tasty, full of flavor, and a bit of spice to make it very evenly balanced. The prices are moderate however it is an upscale restaurant that offers quality food, and a quality atmosphere.

Nice people. Don't make the mistake of coming here at lunch and expecting seating. It's a very small establishment and seat 16 people with a salad bar, a hot table with sandwiches and a coffee station. There are grab and go stations which is good but the hurried nature of the place is present. A lot of working professionals from the adjacent buildings swarm the place and probably provide a steady stream of customers. I ordered a chicken Cesar wrap. Not bad, very parmesaney in taste. The latte was good.

You need this in your life. We started off our evening with a complimentary champagne toast (celebrating our honeymoon). We chose to do the 5 course tasting menu. Ryan was our server. He began the journey with a tour of their incredible backyard garden with fresh herbs and vegetables. We had several different courses including a delcious tuna & delicate beef tenderloin. Everything was cooked to perfection and layered with homeade sauces and freshly picked vegetables. We were absolutely in heaven. The final course was a mouthwatering coconut dessert with an espresso martini pairing! Everything local and a true farm to table experience. Ryan was an incredible server and detailed each course as we ate. We will be back. We feel so lucky to have experienced this hidden gem!

We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating a close friend’s birthday at The Brasserie, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Known for its incredible farm-to-table concept, The Brasserie truly lived up to its reputation. We kicked off the evening with a champagne toast, setting the perfect tone for what was to come. Virginia and Simone graciously shared their insights on the menu, which made choosing our dishes even more special — you could tell how much care and passion goes into every plate. The food was nothing short of outstanding. Every dish was beautifully prepared, fresh, and bursting with flavor. From the appetizers to the desserts, each bite felt like a celebration of local ingredients and culinary creativity. The service was equally exceptional — attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming. One of the highlights of the evening was getting a garden tour of the restaurant’s on-site garden. It was such a unique touch to see where so much of the produce on our plates was grown, and it made the experience feel even more connected to the island. A huge thank you to The Brasserie team for helping us surprise our friend and for delivering such a memorable night. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a dining experience that’s both elegant and rooted in local charm.

A great evening at The Brasserie in Grand Cayman. The food was fresh and flavorful, made even more special knowing the fish is local and the veggies and herbs come right from their own garden out back. After our meal, our wonderful waiter Jose took us through the garden to taste herbs straight from the source. Such a unique and thoughtful touch. Gorgeous ambiance and amazing service!

Very fresh, lots of local ingredients. Not a large selection for vegetarians but seafood seems to be the focus. Wonderful atmosphere and great service.

This amazing place and everyone here made our anniversary very special!! Since we stepped in the big smiles made us feel very welcomed. We enjoyed their set summer pleasure menu, it was incredible. We started with a miso soup and a mango arugula salad, then had the fettuccini carbonara with tuna fish “bacon” and chicken with vegetables and to top it off a very delicious olive oil cake. The service was out of this world, we even got to tour their patio where they grow every single ingredient that ends up on your plate!! Simply 10 out of 10!!! Highly recommended ❤️

This place was arguably one of the best dinners we have ever had. Everything tasted incredible and the service was top notch. I can’t even explain with words or pictures how good it was. We don’t like seafood but got chicken and steak. It was everything! We will have to go back during our trip.

Great food, great drinks, perfect view. We arrived at port from our cruise and had no plans. This place was perfect to hang out all day and even snorkel/scuba for a really great price. Only about 15 min from the dock

Silverside was a happy surprise for us! It wasn’t on our radar for restaurants to try but after shopping all day in Georgetown, and wanting to check out Eden Rock for snorkeling the next day, we decided to drop in for dinner. The food was amazing. My husband and I both had the Lemon Butter Mahi Mahi, my sons had creamy garlic pasta and build your own pasta. Tried the popcorn conch and calamari also. All were fabulous. Cocktails were great too. We liked it so much we had lunch there after snorkeling the next day. The jerk chicken nachos were also delicious. Nice ambiance in the upstairs restaurant/bar area and beautiful view. The patio is casual and very cool vibe. Give this place a try!

Scuba divers, snorkeler this is it! My great new spot in Grand Cayman! Eden Rock reef right infront of the restaurant! Scuba shop right there , lockers Incredible fish dishes ( Mahi is so tasty) and cold white tip beer ( first time i try it and already among my favorites a Full-bodied, golden coloured lager that helps raise funds for the Guy Harvey Foundation and the Cayman Islands Department of Environment to preserving our oceans, safeguarding sharks, and ensuring a sustainable future for marine ecosystems, which is why they donate $1.20 for every case sold) wonderful place, the and bartender is so polite.

Food was great, location was great but hot as expected. We ordered the Parmesan Steak Bites, Chicken Tenders & Fries, BBQ Chicken Wings, Cheeseburger, Nachos with Beef, & the stir fry with Shrimp. Service outside sucked. Why pretend to be able to memorize 6 orders, just write it down. Bathroom was filthy.

Delicious food and amazing staff with excellent views and cold brews! Very walkable from the port and if you have the time I would recommend if your in the area. Yumm!

We stopped at this place part way through our cruise that was re routed from the hurricane. But it was probably in the end one of our favorite stops. The food was delicious drinks all reasonable prices. The general manager was a sold dude was super personable and was great help with a lot of questions and needs we had. Would highly recommend this place. Not to mention the snorkeling and swimming was great right off the patio for the restaurant great spot.

Complete bust. We waited over 30 minutes for our food and we were the only people in the entire restaurant at peak lunchtime. After 30 minutes they came to tell the lobster had not even been delivered to the restaurant yet. Why not tell us that when we ordered??? We got up and left. All of this after we ordered and they came back to tell us that the prices were wrong on the menu and everything was significantly more expensive than advertised. Again, why not tell us when we ordered??? Good could be good. But we would never know.
Travis M — Google review
Came here after taking our Tender from our cruise ship. We had read about this place, to come here for the snorkelling/diving. It was an easy 10 minute walk from the cruise port here. The staff were amazingly friendly. Bella, our server and bartender, gave us a surplus of information we needed, she was graciously friendly and welcoming. Even though we didn’t order food, just drink, we felt completely welcome to use the facilities and snorkel in the beautiful water just steps from the restaurant. We saw some beautiful fish and were so glad we stopped here for a dip in the water. When we wanted to head out, Bella was even able to get us a taxi to our next destination. Thank you so much for the opportunity to stop here, snorkel, and enjoy the beginning of our Cayman island day.
