Snorkeling Puerto Rico offers excellent conditions for snorkeling, with depths ranging from 45 to 65 feet. The best time to visit is from October to May. Seven Seas Beach boasts numerous ideal snorkeling sites, such as Icacos Cay and Palomino Island in the Cordillera Nature Reserve. Visitors have praised the helpful and entertaining staff, who ensure a perfect balance of snorkeling and beach enjoyment.
Captain Omar was the best! We sat upstairs and had a front row seat to his genius. On top of that he was so friendly and kind. The whole crews focus on safety and organization was impressive. They didn’t lack in any fun either! The music, vibes, funny explanations, etc were awesome too! I don’t know how these guys keep their energy up like they do, but BRAVO. I only hope if I book again, I get the same folks running the show. Top notch.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Absolutely Incredible Experience! I had the BEST time today on the boat and snorkel excursion with Puerto Rico Snorkeling! From start to finish, everything was seamless, safe, and so much fun. The crew was professional, super friendly, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and excited—whether it was your first time snorkeling or you were experienced. The boat ride was beautiful, the views were breathtaking, and the snorkeling spots were vibrant and full of marine life. Crystal-clear water, colorful fish, and even some coral—truly like swimming in a postcard! The guides gave great tips on where to look and even pointed out cool things in the water. What made this excursion stand out was the energy and positive vibe from the entire team. They really cared about giving us a memorable experience, and it showed. Plus, they had great music, refreshments, and the atmosphere was just perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of Puerto Rico. If you’re visiting PR and looking for a magical day on the water, don’t miss this tour. I’d 100% book with them again—worth every penny!

This was a wonderful tour with a helpful, fun, and warm crew. We got to snorkel for 30 min ~ and saw some pretty fish, sea urchins, jellys (baby ones), and stingrays. Lunch was pasta, chicken salad, green salad, bread, and cold bean salad. Everything was delicious, including the alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks! We loved the boat slide and float mat.Highly Recommend and well worth what we paid! Would do this experience again 🤿

We went snorkeling aboard the Medusa and it was absolutely amazing! 🌊🐠 The entire crew was so friendly, accommodating, and full of fun energy. They were very detailed with safety, but also made sure everyone had a great time. The reef was beautiful with tons of fish, and hanging out at Icacos Island was the perfect way to spend the day. 🏝️ My two friends were visiting Puerto Rico for the first time, and they’re already talking about coming back just for this experience! The drinks and lunch were delicious, and the whole vibe was 10/10. Highly recommend booking this trip—you won’t regret it!

We had an amazing time on our snorkel trip! From start to finish, the crew made it a truly unforgettable experience. The lunch was delicious, with plenty of vegetarian options, and the free drinks kept flowing all day—special shoutout to Ricky for making the best mojitos we’ve ever had! The snorkeling itself was incredible—we saw tons of marine life, including turtles and even manta rays. The boat had a fun slide that added to the adventure, and everything felt super safe thanks to our captain, Yarel, who did a fantastic job navigating and keeping everyone comfortable. The crew—especially Dante and Ricky—were so friendly, helpful, and attentive. They made the whole vibe fun and relaxed, and even gave us some great local recommendations for beaches to visit after the tour. We were also celebrating my husband’s birthday, and they helped make it extra special. Couldn’t have asked for a better day on the water. Highly recommend this tour!
Alexandra S — Google review
Very organized and professional tour! The crew was amazing and takes their time to make you feel safe and comfortable in the water. We had a number of beginner swimmers who were not comfortable and they helped them safely back to shore. The water was too turbid so we were not able to see a lot, but some guests did see green sea turtles and manta ray. I was only able to see conch and schools of fishes. We sailed to Vieques and the beach was beautiful. I saw the both the tiniest and largest hermit crabs of my life. Waterside was fun, but I loved jumping off the side of the boat more! Food and drinks were flowing. I was seasick at that point. Rookie move! Take meds before the trip if you are susceptible. The waters can be choppy (especially during Hurricane season).

Wonderful day with the Snorkeling Puerto Rico crew. Started with a very warm welcome from Noni. Full of info practical, cultural and scientific. The boat crew with Amanda and Chris were incredible. They made the experience really fun and safe. The Medusa was immaculate and comfortable. A great day was had by all. .

We had such an incredible time on this snorkeling excursion! From the moment we stepped onboard, the crew made us feel welcome and at ease. Dahli, Chris, and Captain Danty were absolutely top notch—friendly, engaging, and full of great energy. Their hospitality and interactiveness really elevated the whole experience. The boat ride itself was as smooth as it gets, thanks in part to some picture-perfect conditions, and we had plenty of time in the water to really enjoy the snorkeling. The crew kept the atmosphere fun and relaxed, and the drinks were flowing, which was the perfect touch.

Restaurant
Restaurante El Yate is a popular dining spot in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, offering American and Caribbean cuisine. It is highly regarded among the top restaurants in the area and has received positive reviews for its delicious food and inviting atmosphere. Visitors have praised the restaurant for its exceptional dishes, such as croquetas stuffed with halibut. Many patrons choose to celebrate special occasions at El Yate due to its reputation for providing an amazing dining experience.
Food is delicious but a bit on the pricy side, still a very good place close to the bay. The ocean breeze while eating for me was a plus. Service was exceptional and attentive. Recommended 100%
David R — Google review
Recently dined at this restaurant with a stunning view of a marina, where you can watch boats come and go and see the ocean with islands in the background. The service was just okay, nothing particularly outstanding. The food was good, but I was surprised by the rigidity of the menu. You can't make any changes to the dishes as listed, which was disappointing, especially given the limited options. If you're a fan of vegetables, this place might not be for you, as the menu doesn't cater well to veggie lovers. Despite the restaurant being almost empty, the main dishes took a considerable amount of time to prepare, which was above average for what I'd expect. The drinks, however, were good, and I particularly recommend the sangria. Overall, the service, food, and environment were just okay, but the ocean view was definitely a highlight.

*Did not eat here so can’t speak for the food* Stopped in for some drinks and sunset after swimming. The restaurant was basically empty which we found odd. The lady behind the bar immediately went and got another coworker when we sat down, he gave us menus then left? She ended up asking for our order and serving us, was a strange run around. The drinks were amazing though, very flavorful and fruity. The view is also very nice!

This place had a amazing view of the ocean. I ordered the chicken breast on a sweet plantain served with rice and beans. Amazing. We quite enjoyed our food.

El Yate is an excellent spot in Fajardo! The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor, with a great variety to choose from. The atmosphere is relaxed and perfect for enjoying a nice meal by the water. Special thanks to Juan Carlos for his outstanding service—he was friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. He gave great recommendations and took care of every detail. Definitely recommend El Yate, and if you can, ask for Juan Carlos—he’ll make your experience even better!

We got there and were seated very quickly. We got a virgin Pina colada and a mojito. As an appetizer we got the octopus with chimichuri sauce, it was delicious the freshness of the chimichuri and the nice octopus was fantastic, out of all the octopus I have had it was the best yet. Then we got the stuffed fish , we got it stuffed with octopus and shrimp. The octopus was so soft and tender it melted in your mouth I have not had any thing like it, the shrimp was so soft and juicy with just the right amount of buttery flavor. The fish was so good it was deep fried in a special oil so it was not greesy and it had a great flavor it tasted better if you had it with a little lemon we got from the bar. Once it got cold it got a little fishy. Our waiter was very kind and made us feel very welcome. They did not have desert but we were to full for dessert.
Victoria T — Google review
The basic courtesy of any restaurant is to welcome guests with water at the table. Here, they don’t. Even when we asked for water, they questioned how many glasses—despite it being obvious we were two—and then asked what kind of water we wanted. An awkward detail that disrupts the experience. The food is good, but the prices are not reasonable for the level of service provided. At this price point, a restaurant should pay more attention to customer care, since water is essential to enjoy a meal. The quality of the dishes does not make up for the lack of such a simple but important gesture.
Mariel D — Google review
What an AMAZING dining experience!!! The service was over the top, Michael was our waiter and was the best. The manager checked on us multiple times to make sure we were good. Everything we ate was amazing, Churrasco Mofango (the best and most flavorful I have had ever, including this week here on Puerto Rico) and the Breaded Chicken was out of this world!! I have no idea why people are giving this bad reviews, the BEST meal we have eaten in Puerto Rico!!! One of the best of all time!!! Great atmosphere, beautiful views, outstanding service, and the greatest food!!!

El Conquistador Resort

Resort hotel
Nestled on the northeastern tip of Puerto Rico, El Conquistador Resort is a luxurious oceanside retreat offering bright and airy rooms, three pools, a water park, and an impressive selection of over 20 restaurants and bars. The resort spans 500 acres with three intimate 'villages' and a grand hotel perched on 300-foot bluffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea.
Wow! Super resort. Very family friendly and tons of activities. The food was very good but the service from concierge to housekeeping were above expectations. What great people. So friendly and welcoming. This resort is huge. I had no idea when I booked it. I was just looking for something with a beach. These guys have their own island! They have a super fun water park, car rental on site, spa and countless places to eat and have a good time. My only complaint is that the bed was super firm and I ended up aggravating my sciatica otherwise, this is a top notch resort. Thank you for a wonderful time!
Marlene C — Google review
El Conquistador is truly a stunning resort! The grounds are beautifully maintained, the pools are incredible, and the views are absolutely breathtaking—something that really sets this property apart. We stayed at the Casitas, which were spacious, comfortable, and offered such a relaxing experience. The only area that could be improved was the pool bar staff, as they weren’t as friendly or engaging as we expected. However, the overall beauty and charm of the resort far outweigh that small detail. If you’re looking for a place that combines relaxation, great amenities, and unforgettable scenery, I highly recommend El Conquistador. We’ll be back!
Briseida M — Google review
We had a wonderful time at El Conquistador Resort. The scenery alone is breathtaking: from the golf course to the ocean views, every corner feels like a postcard. The hotel itself was beautiful and it’s clear they’re making great strides in improving the property. A special thank you to Cysmal, who helped us with our reservation, and Miguel, who took care of our luggage and greeted us with such warmth. Their hospitality set the tone for our stay. Our room had a stunning view, and the waterpark, ferry rides to the private island, and cable cars made the entire experience unforgettable. There’s so much to do that we barely had a reason to leave the resort. The only downside was the food service. The quality and attention to detail didn’t match the rest of the experience — one meal even came out burnt, which delayed our plans. For the price point, the meals could definitely use improvement. Overall, despite the hiccup with the food, we truly enjoyed our stay. The resort is beautiful, the staff (especially Cysmal and Miguel) made us feel cared for, and we can’t wait to come back!

We booked roughly six months ago for a work conference (extended into a vacation) that would be held at this resort. Upon arriving at the beautiful location, we were checking in with a young man by the name of Jayden. Jayden tried to quickly slip through the detail that our king bedroom had been changed to a double queen. When asked for clarification he was very unconcerned with the fact that they had changed our reservation and given no notice. He offered no solution and no apology. We asked about a paid upgrade to be able to have a king bed and he told us that wasn’t an option. Because we were exhausted from travel and ready to rest we simply accepted the unwanted room change. Outside of our change in accommodations and Jayden’s lack of customer service, we truly enjoyed the resort. The rest of the staff was very kind and accommodating. Raquel (poolside waitress) and Angel (bellman) were two standout employees that went above and beyond. We enjoyed visiting with them both and greatly appreciated their kindness. The room was clean and well decorated. We visited before their peak season started, so there were very few wait times, but I can imagine that in peak season the ferry ride to the island might be tedious, albeit it worth it. Overall, it is a very nice resort. The drive from the airport is about an hour, but the views make it well worth it. Just confirm your desired room is still available and correct before arriving.

The resort is amazing. The view is breathtaking! For that rate, would be nice to have a good breakfast buffet all week, including local dishes. The music is too loud.I was at the lobby and I heard 3 different songs at the same time! Also, I couldn’t have my window open due the music. I would like also to have the option of shuttles to San Juan as an alternative activity. The music is too loud for the parrots they have- small cages for their size?, with the a/c and the music all the time. Rooms are small but comfortable.

Rooms were fine. The service was good and food also fine. My biggest complaint was that they must sell day passes to young adults on Saturday was a mess in lower pool. Hundred drunk kids at least was uncomfortable Last on Saturday night was awful people yelling and screaming till 3 am.couldn’t sleep Won’t ever come back
Bob M — Google review
Simply one of the best resorts in Puerto Rico and for that matter the Caribbean! No need to leave the property, many quality restaurants to choose from at all levels, golf, tennis, pickle ball, fantastic gym! A private island with a private incredible beach. TOP notch!!!!!
Tyrone P — Google review
Not for longterm stay. Super finy fridges that cant even hold an average plate, no microwaves in the rooms, so you have to buy their pricey food. Staff are awesome. Inside the room is equivalent to 2 or 3 star hotel except the space and the ocean view. Make sure the fridge is plugged. There's a turn on switch inside on the left. It glows green when turned on. I learnt that the hard way 😂

OMG! We had an incredible time on the Mini Boat and Snorkel Tour! Luis and Jose, our guides were great! They took care of us the entire time and had great energy. The snorkeling was so great! We were surrounded with so many beautiful fishes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS EXCURSION, it won’t disappoint. Note: for the passengers, the ride to the island is very, very bumpy! You have to hold on for dear life lol.

AMAZING!!! Had a great time with the moto-boat. It was really fun and we got to see beautiful views. Our tour guide, Luis, was very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. He made the trip so much more enjoyable, it felt like having a local friend more than a tour guide. He explained everything very throughly, gave us facts about the areas and wildlife. Unfortunately, because of the weather condition, we were advise that snorkeling might not be possible, and it wasn’t. But still was very worth it. I would recommend reserving in advance, we almost weren’t able to take the tour because it was sold out.

What a rewarding experience! I loved the excursion! José and Adriana were especially pleasant and helpful throughout the entire process. First, we took the ferry to Culebra Island. Then, we went snorkeling at Tamarindo Beach, where we saw Stingrays, turtles, and colorful fish for approximately an hour, and they took photos for our memories. Then, we went to Flamenco Beach for approximately three hours, with free time. Snacks and refreshments were included. There are restaurants and bars on the beach for a great piña colada 😉 Finally, we took the ferry again; it was a full-day excursion. Remember to bring snacks and extra cash. 100% recommended.🌴🌞🌊🇵🇷🥽

We did the Bio Bay Tour but unfortunately did not see anything. The conditions weren't ideal and they let us know this days ahead of time. We still decided to go and I'm glad we did. Staff were super friendly and fun! We'll def. try again next time.

We had the best time on the Kayakying Puerto Rico Mini Boat Tour! The marina was easy to find, parking was just a short walk & FREE, the check-in tent was easy to find, & amenities were plentiful. We were fitted for flippers & lifevests, met our guides (Jose & Luis where were AWESOME), had a tutorial on where we were going, what we would see, & how to drive the boat. Next, we got on the water & had a blast! The water was a little choppy - it was a windy day & you're in the ocean - but it was an awesome ride & we loved it. I laughed & smiled the entire time! Once we got to the reef, we snorkeled for an hour & saw so many different fish, corals, & other sea creatures. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! Our next stop was Icacos Island where we were anchored at the beach for an hour. We snorkeled around the old piers and enjoyed the crystal clear water plus some snacks. Then we "surfed" back to the marina, riding with the waves instead of against. Overall, this was an AWESOME day & our guides - Jose & Luis - made it wonderful! We 100% recommend! A few notes: - Take a change of clothes, there are nice showers/changing rooms at the marina. - Don't take your towel on the mini boat, there's no need for it; maybe just a handtowel in your bag. - There were plenty of granola bars, juice pouches, & a water canister in our personal cooler on the miniboat. Just take a refillable water bottle.

Great tour. The guides were very friendly and helpful. There were even a few people in the group who weren't the best swimmers but they were able to join in the fun. We saw plenty of fish, turtles, and sting rays. The beach was beautiful.

Went here on the bioluminous kayak trip. There was a brief tutorial on how to use your paddles but with people that have never done it before that could be very confusing. So there had have been 20 kayaks going and although it was nicely set up that we all got in and then but when we got going it was a mess because people that couldn't kayak were jamming up the people that could kayak and they were trying to take pictures of everything while we go. But unless you have a really good camera, it's not going to work in this kind of darkness. It would have been been funner to see the mangrove before it got totally dark but it wasn't interesting kiatric down the mangroves and we did see some bioluminous even though they said that there was some seaweed that might cause spell. It didn't and you could see some and it was really different than the other bioluminous we saw in Jamaica. These were like sparkles but they were really faint. Even if someone was talking up front and telling you stuff. There's no way where we were. We could hear anything cuz we were more towards the back but then there was these little things that were jumping into the boat apparently. But we didn't see them until we got to the Bay so we could shine our phones on it. They were little like shrimp hopping around on us. That was funny

Amazing Mini Boat Tour – Highly Recommend!!! This was our second time taking this mini boat tour because the experience is just that good! We wanted to bring our son along this time, and it did not disappoint. Jose, Luis, and Noel were absolutely fantastic—they went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. The snorkeling stop was a highlight; while I didn’t snorkel myself, my son did and had an absolute blast! We also spent time at Cayo Icacos, which was beautiful and so relaxing. The crew was professional, friendly, and made the entire trip enjoyable from start to finish. If you’re looking for a fun and memorable adventure, we highly recommend this tour!

I ordered the stuffed fish. It was one of the best fish dishes I’ve ever had in my life. The service was incredible. The staff were super friendly. One of the waiters even gave me a ride back to my hotel. Amazing experience!

A very highly recommended seafood place in Fajardo. Good options and a wide variety in the menu. Passion fruit sangria is a nice drink you should try. Calamari was good, but could have been more crispier. Do ask for the hot sauce along with the passion fruit sauce they give you. Red snapper ceviche was refreshing. We asked for the grilled swordfish but they had to replace it with red snapper, which was still good. We also tried their very popular fried stuffed fish with shrimp. Order this if you have a big appetite. It's an entire red snapper fish fried and stuffed with a seafood of your choosing. It was large!

I’ve been to Pasión por el Fogón before and had a wonderful experience, which is why I was so excited to return this time with my family. I wanted to share a place that meant something to me, that I had spoken highly of, and that I thought would be a special memory for all of us. Unfortunately, that’s not how the night went. We had a reservation, were seated on time, and waited patiently. But after more than an hour and a half, we still hadn’t received our food. We watched multiple tables who arrived after us get served and leave, while we sat waiting with no explanation, no updates, and no one checking in. Our kids grew restless and hungry. We ended up leaving and going to Chick-fil-A just to feed them. I was honestly embarrassed. I felt like I let my family down by bringing them here. I don’t know what happened whether the kitchen was overwhelmed or something got missed but what hurt most was the silence. No one acknowledged us or offered to make it right. I know this restaurant is capable of excellence. I’ve experienced it myself. And maybe that’s why this experience stung more than if it had been my first time. I’m leaving this review not out of anger, but because I hope future guests get the attention and care they deserve. I still believe in this place but something went really wrong that night, and I hope it gets addressed.

THIS PLACE IS A MUST GO!!!! I was licking every last crumb from everything we ordered. We were even in a rush to eat our food but it was SO DANG GOOD!! We ordered the fried fish stuffed with lobster with a cream of garlic sauce (as per the server’s recommendations). This took a while to come out, almost a whole hour but they also had a large party that they were working on. It was definitely worth the wait though- seasoned and fried to perfection. We also started off with fried cheese which was delicious as well- would definitely recommend, especially if you love cheese! Come Again? YES! If I visit Puerto Rico again, I’m definitely coming back here.

Our recent visit to La Pasión por el fogón left us with mixed feelings. While I had high hopes for an exceptional culinary experience, the food fell short of my expectations. The flavors lacked the depth and creativity I had anticipated, and to make matters worse, the prices were quite steep. It's disappointing when the quality of the food doesn't align with the cost, and unfortunately, that was the case here. To add to the disappointment, my daughter experienced stomach discomfort after the meal. This made the overall experience even more unsatisfactory. It's unfortunate when a dining experience not only fails to meet expectations but also leaves a negative physical impact. All in all, it was a rather underwhelming and regrettable visit, characterized by both overpriced fare and subsequent discomfort. I don’t think we will go back.

Restaurante Puerto Fino is a waterfront dining spot that offers an unforgettable culinary experience in Puerto Rico. While some suggest improvements like using metal and glass instead of plastic utensils, the overall consensus is highly positive. Visitors rave about the exceptional service and delectable food, with highlights including the special grouper and shrimp dish, fish tacos, vegetarian pasta, tostones, grilled shrimp salad, and mac n cheese.
My husband and I ate here while we were waiting for the bioluminescence kayaking tour. We arrived 4 hours early for the tour thinking we could go shopping at local shops, but not much is here for shops. This restaurant though… WOW. This restaurant was such a gem. What we loved most was that it’s a family run restaurant (husband as chef, wife, daughter is serving!) everything here is cooked from scratch and you can tell it’s so fresh! I had a shrimp gnocchi with an Alfredo sauce. My husband had a skirt steak with fries. We didn’t walk away hungry or feeling unsatisfied. The daughter serving us checked in on us regularly and we left as happy as can be. We must’ve stayed for 2-3 hours just drinking, eating, and being happy. We had such a blissful experience with great food and atmospheric.i wish this family well.

Very good mojitos (they put candy in the nonalcoholic ones!) and food. I got the pesto fettuccini with chicken and the octopus arepa, and they were amazing. Our server Miozotis was really attentive and nice. I’d also def recommend the red snapper whole fish—my friend loved it and the tostones it came with were amazing.

Porto Fino is really good spot behind the bio bay tour companies. Good drinks, delicious food and view. The shrimp salad is tasty and loaded with shrimp, the shrimp tacos, grouper on pasta and garlicky tostones were also highlights in our group. Kids menu consists of chicken nuggets and Mac & cheese, but they can also do pasta with red sauce and appetizers fried mozzarella and French fries also fit the bill.

Right in the Kayak Adventure Village! we stopped for food before our Kayak adventure. BEST TOSTONES EVER! salad with grilled shrimp was EXCEPTIONAL. margarita was fabulous the 13 year old said the mac n cheese was the best he'd ever had. 👨‍🍳👌 All the stars!

Stopped by before going on bioluminescent kayak tour. Simple place. Good food. Prompt service. Our group had the fish tacos, chicken tacos plus fries, and gnocchi with pesto sauce and shrimp. All were good. Solid place with shade.

The food was just amazing! Everything we had was absolutely delicious. The gnocchi, the chicken, the salmon all 10/10. The service was great too! Nice find.

Delicious fresh seafood with an imaginative menu. The service was excellent. The food and drinks made with fresh high quality ingredients. The shrimp are the freshest shrimp I have ever tasted.

Excellent fresh food and great drinks! Nice view of the water as well. You must try the fish tacos, the fish was so fresh and the veggies that come on them were delightful. All of us did the build your own pasta with shrimp and salmon, again the shrimp tasted like they were just caught and the salmon was cooked perfect. We also had pina coladas and mojitos and they were the best of our week long visit to PR. Definitely check this place out.

Cinco Nudos is a restaurant in Fajardo, Puerto Rico that offers a variety of Puerto Rican cuisine, including lobster tails and deep-fried dishes. The restaurant is known for its experienced staff and delicious local delicacies. Visitors can enjoy the spacious seating area with reasonable prices and great cocktails. Families are welcomed, and the fish of the day is highly recommended for its freshness and quality.
This place was surprising. The best service I’ve ever had in Puerto Rico. I was worried that it would be cheap or cafeteria like food because it’s convenient and near the boats, but I was wrong. Had a great time. Staff - this was the best service I’ve ever had in PR. The waiter was pleasant, came often and was super nice. Place - large with lots of seating. Prices - reasonable Drinks - great cocktails. Limited beer. Food - had the fish of the day. It was really fresh and good. Families - welcomed.

Amazing view, the lobster was delicious and the service was excellent. We visited this restaurant regularly because the food and service is consistently.

This is one of my top favorite restaurants. Location is key, water front, amazing view, amazing service, gated access and most of all, amazing flavors with low prices compared to other nearby restaurants. This is a must try. You have to put this on your bucket list. Either you come on a boat or driving, this is a top 5 in Fajardo, Puerto Rico.

Parking available, within gated marina, ocean side, great service and delicious food options. The only detail I can mention as area of opportunity is they don’t have the ingredients for a traditional Moscow mule only passion fruit one. Also rooftop was closed maybe due to COVID. We were able to see it and it is lovely.
Natalia D — Google review
Okay… the GPS and lack of signage made this restaurant very hard to get to. In order to get there, you have to go through Marina gated entrance and tell them you are looking for Cinco Nudos. Once we actually made it - Food & service was lovely. We would recommend!!

The Café Playero bar & grill is the best place to enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner in town. The food and drinks are delicious, and the service is excellent. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Fajardo.
Amazing food and coffee! Quality coffee. The most notable was my husband’s steak and eggs. He’s very picky about his steak since he makes his own so well at home. This is probably the best steak we’ve ever eaten out. Ordered it medium and it was so flavorful and tender and juicy. The choco coco latte was delicious and sweet, almost like a dessert. Beautiful presentation. The kids all loved their meals- the Mac n cheese, pancakes, and French toast with Nutella and fruit. All was top notch!

We had the best time here! We came about 5 times in under a week. First Fabiola was our server and she was excellent! The final time we went we had Tatiana as our server and she made my night. Literally! I was feeling nauseous and wanted a grilled chicken and bread. Though it was not in the menu she helped make it happen. She also gave me a bag of ice to put in the back of my neck to assist with the nausea. It is refreshing to see such kindness in the world.

Fajardo Inn is a laid-back resort located in the coastal town of Fajardo, Puerto Rico. The modest resort offers unfussy rooms amidst tropical gardens, outdoor pools, and an activity area. It's a great base for exploring the region, with its marinas, beaches, and proximity to offshore islands and El Yunque rainforest. Fajardo appeals to nature lovers and beach enthusiasts looking for a less touristy side of Puerto Rico.
I had the most incredible two-night stay at the Fajardo Inn! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and full of local flair. The entire atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, and the service was top-tier. This was hands down one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I can’t wait to return!

The grounds of this hotel are gorgeous. 2 pools, miniature golf and a wonderful gym. Nelaon, who greeted us at the front desk and bartended at the pool, was phenomenal. So helpful with everything and just a great personality. Nicole, who was training as a pool side bartender, was also phenomenal. Cant wait to stay here again

Terrible Experience – Avoid This Place at all cost! I have never had to be so angry to review like this. From start to finish, the staff were rude and unfriendly. The “resort” had loud construction right by our room without informing anyone, so no one could rest. At the pool, security actually searched our bags for drinks, even though all their bars and restaurants were closed. Very false advertising and trying to scam you every single penny. Now they charged me the deposit money and that money has never returned. I have been called the place so many times as well as email them. Our room was sub-par: sheets are dirty, smelly. Everything is outdated and rusty, loose faucet, no water provided, and faulty key cards that barely worked. Our friends’ room even had black mold under the bed. Management was dismissive and rude when we raised these issues. Unbelievable. Please stay away everyone. This's a BIG SCAM PLACE
Hoang M — Google review
I'd go to use the pool and eat at the restaurant. Won't catch ne staying there again. First night, they told us there's a cofee shop that closed at 9. And after we walked there whoever manages it closed it early. We were hungry and had to bed hungry cause theres no room service and just one mexican restaurant that was closing (we ate there next day and its really good) Theres no breakfast. Which is so strange for a "hotel" theres no microwave or cofee machine in the room so if you need cofee you have to wait until 8am to get DRIP COFFE. If they open or close on time. We saw a microwave and toaster on the lobby on the last day. but it would've be nice to get this info at check in The rooms are ok. There's not a lot of service. They gave my grandmother a room that had watter on the floor, probably for days/weeks. It smelled humid fungus type of smell. So rooms are not reviewed beforehand. Our room had a table with one chair, and I called to have them bring me another and it never happened. Pool area is beautiful, but I believe there was an issue with the clorox since my fam have been itchy for days.

Puerto Rico Bio Bay Tours LLC offers a unique experience in Las Croabas Lagoon, where visitors can witness a natural underwater light show created by bioluminescent plankton. The lagoon is easily accessible from Las Croabas and San Juan, with many tour companies offering kayaking tours to explore the phenomenon.
Stop looking for bio bay tours and book with these guys NOW! My family booked a bio bay tour with these guys, and they were incredible. They were so helpful and kind to everyone in our group. Our guides were extremely knowledgeable about the area, and very patient with first time kayakers. The mangroves you go through are incredible, and the lagoon with the microorganisms is so so so pretty. We absolutely loved our time with Puerto Rico Bio Bay Tours LLC. They made it so fun, and it was definitely a highlight of our trip to PR.
The H — Google review
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Kayaking at night was fun in itself and the bioluminescence was the frosting on the cake. The tour leaders were great and very organized. Everything was explained ahead of time. We always felt safe and received great instructions in how to navigate in different conditions and currents. They made sure everyone had a great time.
Scott K — Google review
The crew was knowledgeable and attentive to the needs of a diverse group of people. After a thorough review of instructions we were off on a great adventure that was a good dose of exercise and peaceful. We didn’t see any bioluminescence that night due to the sargasso bloom but it was a fun and unique experience nonetheless. Whether you’re an experienced kayaker or if this is your first time, you’ll have an experience you won’t forget.

Excellent service from online booking to arrival. Very knowledgeable staff, friendly and very professional. We enjoyed our 8:30 pm trip to the bay and saw amazing sights and glow. After researching several companies I am so happy we went PR Bio Bay Tours. We took out two children ages 10 and 15 and they had no issues completing the tour.
Heather C — Google review
Highly recommend this tour! We saw other tour groups waiting to go, and this company seemed the best by comparison (smaller group size, better launching point, seemed like priority use of the bay). The guides were friendly, very knowledgeable, and ensured we were safe and had fun.
Sara L — Google review
It was such a lovely experience! The guides very mindful of our safeties and their knowledge of the area was very impressive. Not only was this trip SO fun, it was very educational and I learned great things about Puerto Rico and its ecosystems. Special thank you to Gustavo, he’s a great guide and he was very funny! Thank you Bio Bay Tours!
Natalia M — Google review
We are absolutely thrilled with our experience. We booked last minute after reading rave reviews, and we were not let down! The guides are professional, fun, kind, and great teachers. We went on the night tour, and even though it was a bit scary kayaking at night, we had an amazing time and felt so well taken care of. 100% do this if you’re staying in the area!!!
Tiffany E — Google review
We went on a kayak adventure from 8-11pm. The kayaking was amazing. They told us we may not see the bioluminescence because the Sargassum had invaded the lagoon and the luminescent creatures had died off because of anoxic conditions. We learned that all of the tour companies had gone in and cleaned the sargassum out of the lagoon to try to help the conditions. We got to see the bioluminescence and it was wonderful. The guides couldn't have been nicer and the professional way the tour was managed was also super. Loved it! Would go again in a heartbeat.

Seven Seas Beach, located in the municipality of Fajardo on the northeast coast of Puerto Rico, is a picturesque white sand beach with shade trees and calm turquoise waters. It is part of the Tres Palmas Marine Reserve, known for its efforts to sustain marine life including turtles, whales, dolphins, and lobsters.
Seven Seas Beach is absolutely stunning. The Caribbean blue water are crystal clear, with gentle waves that make it perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Great marine life—schools of colorful fish and even the occasional sea turtle make snorkeling trips an adventure. Unlike urban beaches, this one is kept pristine by nature itself—no machines raking the sand, just the rhythm of the waves and the ocean breeze maintaining its untouched beauty. The beach has great facilities, covered picnic areas, and hiking trails leading to even more secluded and exotic beaches. Whether you're looking to relax, explore, or immerse yourself in nature, this beach is well worth the trip!

🌊 Seven Seas Beach – Fajardo, Puerto Rico 🌴 Seven Seas Beach is a beautiful, calm spot perfect for relaxing and enjoying a peaceful day by the water. The sand is soft and golden, the turquoise water is warm and clear, and the gentle waves make it great for swimming, kayaking, or snorkeling. There’s plenty of shade from palm trees, picnic areas, and clean facilities nearby, which makes it a great beach for families. You can even walk a little further along the trail to discover more private coves — definitely worth exploring if you love nature and quiet views. Parking is easy (there’s a small fee), and you can find food kiosks and local restaurants just a few minutes away in Las Croabas. It’s also close to the Bio Bay tours, so you can make it a full day — beach during the day and glowing bay at night! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A calm, clean, and relaxing beach — perfect for families and anyone who loves that classic Caribbean vibe.

We visited Seven Seas Beach on a Wednesday morning and had a good time. The water was calm, and there were lifeguards on duty, which was nice. There were a lot of families setting up for all day beach activities. Some areas had rocks, but the large trees provided plenty of natural shade. Parking was only $5 for the whole day. There weren’t any chairs or umbrellas available to rent, so bring your own if you plan to stay a while.

Phenomenal experience at this beach. Parking is $5 and you can pay with cash or credit cards. You have ample parking, showers, restrooms, shaded areas. Gazebo areas for rent, multiple trash bins and Life guard stations. Beautiful clear water and white sand beach. It is very family oriented so you can bring the whole family, plus dogs, alcohol, grills you name it just pick up your trash and deposit on the trash bins which are a few feet from the coastline. Overall a great experience. Come and check them out.

Playa Escondida, also known as "hidden beach," is a hidden gem in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. It's accessible via an easy 15-20 minute hike from the remote corner of Seven Seas beach. This peaceful beach features golden sand and gentle waves, making it perfect for a relaxing afternoon or day trip on the eastern coast of Puerto Rico.
Absolutely beautiful and worth the hike in. We snorkeled for a bit. Not much to see but we did find lots of beautiful shells. Great place to hang and avoid the crowds.

about a 30 minute hike(walking slow) from seven seas beach. This secluded paradise with shallow clear waters was worth the hike. Most of the path was smooth and easy to navigate. I wish they would label the trails but google maps can be used. I imagine weekends would be more crowded as it happens in most PR beaches
Neli M — Google review
Absolutely beautiful!! You can park at the Seven Seas Beach parking lot and walk about 15–20 minutes one way to get here. Seven Seas Beach was beautiful too, but very crowded. Playa Escondida, on the other hand, felt truly private and peaceful. The water was calm, and everything about it was just stunning. Highly recommended!
HJ C — Google review
We parked at Seven Seas and then hiked the path to Playa Escondida (see instructions others have posted before to navigate the trail). The path was not muddy when we went, but it definitely has the potential to be wet and slippery when it rains. It wasn't a bad hike, but it's not wheelchair accessible and not likely recommended for those with any type of balance/walking issues. The hike through the mangroves was beautiful. Take your time and enjoy the hike. Look for the little violin crabs by the mangrove trees, the huge hermit crabs on the trees, and the local birds. The hike IS a feature of going to this beach. We went on Christmas day when other tourists were also visiting, so there were other people there we shared the beach with. We snorkled in the protected rock area and saw all kinds of small, tropical fish. We also walked to the two points and got some amazing views of waves breaking on the coast! Good day trip for couples and families! Pack some food and water for your afternoon and a trash bag to haul your trash back out. Take an extra trash bag if you can to pick up litter on the trail on your way out to keep this hike and beach beautiful!
Andrea C — Google review
There are probably better beaches but we were mostly alone for the hours we were there. It’s about a mile walk from Seven Seas. The trial is muddy if it’s rained recently.
Terrryja — Google review
We parked at seven seas beach parking lot and walked roughly 20 minutes through a scenic trail. After a rainy day it made it more challenging but at the end very well worth the walk.
Edgar B — Google review
Great scenery, clear water with low currents, you have to walk for about 20 minutes, but it's worth it.
John R — Google review
I so wish that there wasn’t a rip current and high surf advisory happening while we visited. Regardless, we hiked through the muddy mangrove path and enjoyed the nearly secluded beach so much. We will definitely return whenever we are back on the amazing island. Too bad there was so much trash along the beach. Be careful you don’t get cut. Do better everyone. If you are able to carry it to the beach, you can surely carry it to a trash can. Cheers!

Great location. Decent service. Food was pricey; we had full meals. Also had fritters, and they were more decently priced. The octopus was tender, and flavorful. The lobster soup broth had good flavor, but the lobster meat was tough and had no flavor. The sauce over the fish was flavorful, but again, the meat itself was not. If you want fried fish, be sure to specify or you will get baked fish. The red sauce they bring to the table is a spicy sauce, not the ketchup/mayo blend a lot of places serve. Passion fruit juice was pricey, but tasted great. The vegetable mix of the alcapurrias were decent. The coconut arepas were really good, and worth the buy.

Jayakumar N — Google review
Stay away! Everything about this place is terrible. Just read through the previous reviews, they're consistently awful. The service is poor, the food is disgraceful. Due to the close proximity to El Conquistador they are able to charge extremely high price for poor quality food/service. I have to believe this is the only reason they're able to keep the doors open. Save yourself the hassle and eat somewhere else. If you don't, you will regret your decision within 20 minutes of being at Ocean View. Run.

Excellent service delicious food. Chapin pastelillos are the best I've had in the island. Chuleta can can also the best I've had on the island. Hard and crunchy but juicy pork belly perfectly seasoned. My friend ordered the whole red snapper. I ate the head and all the parts she wouldn't touch including the crispy fins. Absolutely delicious. The bread fruit tostones were outstanding. Also the best hot sauce anywhere on the island. Not too hot but full of flavor. Overall my favorite meal. Loved Wilma our server and the ladies who yelled at us to come back for our credit card. Wonderful experience. Sorry for the photos but a testament to how good the food is. Will be back!

Probably the best mofongo I’ve ever had. I ordered the one with chicken. Staff was great. Only complaint was the parking. We drove around for a while before finding a spot. Otherwise great experience.

What I love it was a nice cozy place with the marina right across the best mofongo de pulpo you need to try it after that my man and I walked by the water and he literally accomplished walking the plank I recommend

Seafood restaurant
Rest. El Pescador & Tapas is a seafood restaurant located in the Fajardo marina, offering stunning views and a variety of fresh seafood dishes with a Caribbean touch. The eatery is known for its fresh lobster and steak options, as well as its casual atmosphere and Caribbean vibe. While reservations are not accepted, the wait is worth it to enjoy the delicious food and outstanding cocktails in front of the ocean.
Delicious food! And really good drinks! Service was also wonderful. We sat outside, and atmosphere was nice.

Excellent food. Like most places in Puerto Rico speed of service operates at a very relaxed pace which makes for an experience not just a meal. Prices are as expected with local dishes being slightly less and things that are more common stateside reflecting the cost of getting it here.
Adam R — Google review
The best dining experience I had in Puerto Rico. The food was perfect—I highly recommend the steak mofongo. The drink had a lighter alcohol content, which allowed the fruit flavors to shine through and felt gentler on the stomach.

This was our favorite restaurant on the little strip on the beach. We could walk to it from our lodging. Kisha was our waitress. Her recommendations were spot on. I had crab cakes and the fried fish with creole with rice and beans. It was yummy! It does take a while to cook from scratch and it’s island time & not the rush through food most stateside people are use to, so we sat back, enjoyed the view, had a drink and enjoyed our dinner. Thanks again Kisha for your recommendations!!
Paula C — Google review
We tried just about every restaurant on the loop and this was by far our favorite. It had more options for my wife who does not eat seafood, and the grilled lobster I had was to die for. Good prices and incredible sangria.
Jared R — Google review
Absolutely love this restaurant and we did come twice in a row. The food is reasonably priced and the fried fish is the best among all I have tried (stayed for a week on this island)! The vegetables comes with mango and vinegar blended flavor which taste delightful and fresh. One thing you might need to watch out - mosquitoes! That is the only caveat.
Eric F — Google review
This is fresh food, the owner himself is the fisherman, you will not get fresher and the prices are very affordable. He took care of our table, we all eat lobster. I recommend this place and will definitely return. Be aware that they cook at the order, so enjoy some drinks and appetizers before.

The following is a real review for the Rest. El Pescador & Tapas located at Carr 987 km 7.2 Parque Pasivo, Las Croabas , the restaurant left much to be desired. Despite arriving well before closing time, most menu items were unavailable by 8 PM, which was disappointing. To make matters worse, the service was extremely slow, and the food took far too long to arrive. When it finally did, the lobster was dry and overcooked, lacking the quality one would expect. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience that didn’t justify the wait or the hype.

Restaurant
If you want to eat one of the best pastelillos in the island, this is the place. They are filled with goodness and flavor. You will not regret coming here and just take the first bite on one of those pastelillos. They come in different flavors as well or different meats. You gotta try the mofongo too. What's so nice about these pastelillos is, they are filled with delicious seafood or just meat. It was a beautiful scenery of the beach where you can find parking next door for $5 a day. I recommend this place.
Eugenio G — Google review
Lots of tasty options here! We ordered a bunch of pastelillitos to take with us on our trip and some conch mofongo to eat there. Very flavorful and rich fillings. Super close to the beach too so its a perfect spot to visit and satisfy your hunger after a swim!
Zachariah W — Google review
The specialty of the house left much to be desired. The 'carne' was burned, I suggested to my dining partner it perhaps was caviar as it looked like little black balls, however she said 'no'. The Chapin looked to be pureed, I'm not sure I ever had a Pastelillo with something like spicy baby food inside. The lobster was cooked to order. The filling was a mix of large pieces with 'head meat'. They were cooked very well but the meat being of inconsistent size and different level of preparation left one with a marginal product. On a more positive note the Coke Zero was very cold. The people were nice, but its window service and a bit of a mystery on how and where to order. I do enjoy being asked for a 24% tip on window service. The location was very nice next to one of the better beaches in Puerto Rico, they had some tables under the trees and even though it was a very warm September day at noon it was very pleasant. Overall, if you are looking for good food, go elsewhere, if your at the beach and looking for a cold one The House of Pastelillos would fit that bill.

This spot is wonderful. They have a wide variety of pastelillos. We tried Churrasco, Pulpo, Camaron and Pastelon. Highly recommended, and the beach is right there. Perfect combination.

Everything is great! First the view on the beach, which is magnificent. Everybody is very kind. I loved the food, special mention for the capelin pastelillos. The pastry is crispy and the fillings are full of flavor. Enjoyed the drinks too. Reasonable prices. Great atmosphere. What not to like?

Beach shack with outdoor seating. It was open for late lunch. Ordered fish tacos, steak and cheese pastelillo, alcapurria de jueyes, and a piña colada. Prices are touristy but fair for the amount they serve. Pastelillos are FAT. Location is just steps from one of the best beaches in Fajardo, PR.

This place is truly a gem in the seven sea beach park! We were super hungry and were blessed to arrive at this heaven with delicious food with a lovely view. I genuinely loved my experience. The birds and chickens will be eyeing your food though! My friend and I got: - beef pastelillos (crispy crust with heartwarming ground beef stuffing) - chicken pastelillos - fish tacos (freshly fried fish and delicious coleslaw, my favorite) - seafood salad (this comes with fried plaintains which was a bit hard and the salad was okay) I also got a frozen drink which was much cherished given the hot weather. Love this place!

Restaurante Don Esteban is a must-visit gem offering an amazing atmosphere and authentic Puerto Rican food. The service is top-notch, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The menu features delicious dishes like shrimp mofongo with garlic sauce and pastellios with pernil. The drinks are also highly recommended, especially the passion fruit mojito. While some find the prices a bit high, the overall experience of dining here is worth it for anyone visiting Fajardo.
Our GPS guided us to the Walmart plaza. The restaurant is to the right of Advance Auto Parts. We had great friendly service and the food was delicious. They have a small kids menu my kids loved. Definitely recommend.

It's a nice place but the atmosphere was dry. We sat inside, there were four of us. Two of us ordered mofongo one chicken and one shrimp. One person ordered breaded chicken the other ordered penne pasta w chicken. I had the chicken mofongo w garlic butter sauce and an order of fried cheese. I enjoyed it but have definitely had better mofongo with more flavor in PR. The cheese tasted like it was the unsalted type. The others go like this, the shrimp mofongo had the frozen shrimp so she didn't like them. The breaded chicken we had to send back because it was rotten chicken. It was literally black underneath the breading. The pasta w the chicken was not bad. The drinks we had were frozen strawberry daiquiri and passion fruit frozen. Neither drink tasted like it had alcohol. Overall I wouldn't recommend eating here. I wouldn't return. The rotten chicken was scary.

My boyfriend and I were driving back home when we came across this little gem. The atmosphere was amazing and so welcoming. The food came quickly and was so delicious. I ordered shrimp mofongo and he ordered chicken with rice and beans. I recommend ordering the shrimp mofongo with garlic sauce, he added some of the sauce to his rice and incredible. He ordered a drink and didn't like it much and they were happy to replace it with the drink I had which was a passion fruit mojito. The service was 10/10 also. Cannot recommend enough.

Nature preserve
Historical landmark
Visitor center
Nestled on the northeastern tip of Puerto Rico, Reserva Natural Cabezas de San Juan has been meticulously preserved by the Conservation Trust since 1975. This 316-acre reserve is home to a diverse range of ecosystems, including untamed scrub, mangroves, and a stunning 8km reef-lined coast. The highlight of the reserve is Laguna Grande in the lower half and El Faro, an old Spanish lighthouse atop a bush-covered hill in the northern section.
We booked an English speaking tour on a Saturday for Las Cabezas de San Juan Nature Preserve. It was excellent! Lucy Ann was our guide and she was very knowledgeable and passionate about the reserve, its ecosystems, and future. You ride on an open-air minibus on paved roads for most of the tour, but do get off to walk on a boardwalk, a beach, and into Las Croabas lighthouse as part of the tour. That was a bonus! They are still renovating it, but plan to open to the public April 2024. The public can use the trails here without a tour. This is a hidden gem and well worth the $12 entry.

Beautiful and peaceful! Easy walk through nature
Denise C — Google review
It's truly beautiful but basically if you want to enter the park, you can only do so on a tour which is a total pain and needs booking in advance. Instead, we walked along the coastline and got to experience the stunning beaches without any reservations and for free! Found the most stunning, giant conch shells, fish and white sands, hidden coves and sunbathing spots. Only saw 2 people in 4 hours, and it was entirely rubbish free. Hard to find a decent spot to swim though, ocean ground is rocky and covered in slippery creepy seaweed.
Riva H — Google review
Great and awesome tour and experience. Francisco is a great tour guide. You'll enjoy it a lot if you have the chance to have him assigned. Everyone should come here. Call and make your reservation today.

Para la naturaleza is an amazing project. Great tours, you learn a lot about PR history and heritage.
Carlos R — Google review
A beautiful and wild place to see. Book your tour online ahead of time. If you are an English only speaker, know that there is usually only one tour a day in English, so plan in advance. The tour is about 2.5 hours long, most of which you are riding a tram. Sit near the front so you can hear the tour guide better. You walk through a mangrove area around a lake, then stop at a beautiful rocky beach, and finally stop at the lighthouse. The views from the top are amazing! You can see many of the nearby islands (Icacos, Palomino), and on a clear days see as far as the Virgin Islands! Bring a bottle of water and sun protection. If you have a camera with a good long range lens, I imagine you could get some amazing photos from near the lighthouse.

La Zanja Natural

La Zanja Natural is a must-visit trail located in the coastal town of Fajardo, offering multiple ways to reach its end through the park or beachfront. The hike starts near Seven Seas Beach and involves walking along the coastline northward, cutting through trees and water. It's recommended for those without knee, leg, or feet issues due to its somewhat difficult terrain. The trail leads to a spectacular view halfway through before descending a rocky mountain to reach the water opening of La Zanja.
It's a pain to get here, but well worth it. Hike to Playa El Crater and take a path to where you have to climb down some steep but grippy rocks. It's a very cool place. You will be tired after the hike there and back!
Laura H — Google review
This place was a pain to find. There was no signage. Which wound up being a blessing because no one was there. If you’re lucky enough to find the trail leading up from the stone beach expect a thin trail and steep hike. Shouldn’t take more than 20 minutes. The views were stellar and swimming was fun. Bring water shoes.
Blake R — Google review
Make sure you pack water to drink and it’s best to go in the morning. We did not follow the beach the whole way. We dipped up onto the paved nature preserve trail and followed that all the way down to the rocks. Tons of coral there and it’s absolutely beautiful. No one in site. Once to this point walk to the left and you will see a little dirt path. Follow that over the mountain side. Once you get to the top of that you have the option to go left or right. Pick right and you will see it. We went the wrong way at first and were ready to give up. Even at that point it was worth it because it was absolutely stunning out there. The water so blue and waves crashing hard onto the big rocks and no one was there. The walk back in the heat was brutal so again, bring enough water but I would do it all again in a heartbeat.
Natasha L — Google review
This was an amazing hike. It was definitely VERY hard to find and we had to scramble on rocks for about 20 min before finding the area where we could go down to the water. I would recommend going with a guide/someone who knows the area well, because it can definitely be dangerous if you don’t know what you’re doing. ALSO we ended up finding a path through the nature reserve instead of going along the beach as some people suggested. The hike was beautiful and the water and view at the end made it worth it, but there were several times we considered turning around. The hike took us about 3 hours total and we spent about 25 min in the water :)
Anna L — Google review
I had no idea how I was gonna get there but I made it. We parked at the beach seven seas and walked through the beach. There is a road that connects if you go through the trees but we walked back and fourth. There is no signal when you reach a certain area so downloading the trail map is recommended. It was so hot do take hats, long sleeves, water shoes, water and snacks. When you get to the rocks, the way we went down was slowly walking down the rocks. It was a little hard to find the way but we made it.
Alexis M — Google review
If you like nature and hiking, this is something that I strongly recommend to everyone to do. After the walk, arriving to La Zanja is totally rewarding.
John M — Google review
Fantastic! It was about a 45 mins walk/hike on a paved road, then through mangroves, up a mountain and down a rocky hill but the end result was breathtaking! The Zanja is beautiful, the views are amazing and the water tranquility of the place are close to none. A must see for sure!!
Mabelissa A — Google review
One of our favorite spots to bring family when they visit. It gets pretty busy on the weekends. Low tide is best to access the pool. 40-60 minutes of walking from the seven seas parking lot. You can’t get lost, you will have cell service and access to Google maps the whole way (until you climb down to the pool). Definitely wear grippy shoes (not flip flops) for the rock climbing portion.

Embark on an unforgettable adventure with Yokahu Kayak Trips, where you'll delve deep into the heart of nature and witness the incredible bioluminescent lagoons. Paddle through serene waterways along the coastal shoreline and be amazed by the stunning natural phenomenon. The knowledgeable and fun tour guides ensure a safe and comfortable experience, while their smart ideas enhance the bioluminescent effect, making it even more spectacular.
Make sure you get there early for the orientation before your tour. Traffic can get bad as it’s only one road in some areas. Guides were very informative and made the tour fun! We had William, Jonathan, Jensen, and Christopher. Can be hard to see the bioluminescence but they bring tarps so you get better visibility. You can’t bring anything on the boat. Brought my phone in a water case. Had a great workout kayaking through the mangroves in the darkness.
Jennifer G — Google review
Second trip did not disappoint. We had such a great experience in July when we visited the island that we had to come back a second time! Kayaking through the mangroves was a gift from nature….not very challenging at all; and seeing the bioluminescent plankton was a real treat. The tour was extremely organized, on time, andthe guides made it very fun us.
Maria F — Google review
This kayaking in the dark experience was wonderful. Highly recommend! I won’t pretend I wasn’t nervous floating in sheer darkness wondering what poisonous creatures would fall from the trees. But, A few deep breaths and I was able to calm myself and see how magical this experience was. When we reached our hands into the water at the lagoon, it looked like glitter. So beautiful and worth it! The guides were friendly and had a great sense of humor.
Charity H — Google review
Louise, Jonathan and Denzel were all great. There is a park across the street from the meet up point and a public bathroom. It’s free parking and there were plenty of spots. Recommend lots of bug spray - they had some on hand for everyone to use. Bring a waterproof phone case, but note most of our phones were unable to pick up the coolness of the Dino’s. It’s just something you have to remember in memories. Recommend bathing suit bottoms and a swim shirt. Your bootie WILL get soaked. Bring an extra set of clothes. Another tip, go during a new moon when the light is minimal. The darker the better. On the way back, Denzel spotted a huge falcon perched on the tree which was super cool! The only reason for the missing star is that it was scheduled from 8-10pm however we arrived back a little after 9p. It felt rushed once we made it to the open bay. It would have been nice to paddle around on our own here since there is so much open space and our group was relatively small and adept paddlers. There wasn’t any reason to hurry back. We had a total of 10 minutes free time…there was plenty of time for more.

Amazing trip to see the bio bay in Laguna Grande. We did it with two kids, 12 and 6. The guides were very helpful and made sure we were comfortable in our night kayaking adventure.
Sunny C — Google review
Cool experience! The guides were great and the whole experience was very well organized. You could see the beautiful sparkles in the water! It was a piece of cake going into Laguna Grande (helps we did the early tour). But the way out was a little chaotic with other tour groups coming in, but we didn’t mind! We just kept watching those sparkles we could make with our hands and kept going! Great experience!

Beautiful, peaceful tour. The guides were great, and funny. The leader at the beginning was very thorough with his directions. The bioluminescence was beautiful. Book it, you won't regret it!

The bioluminescence tour was a magical experience. When I splashed the water with my hand, I saw so many sparkles. According to our guides, our group was lucky since it was one of the better nights to see the bioluminescence. Willie helped guide us through the mangrove trees and did a fantastic job.

Las Casitas Village

Resort hotel
Las Casitas Village is a luxurious hotel offering elegant accommodations, dining options, golf facilities, and a waterpark. The village boasts four distinct pools, including two infinity pools with stunning views of the Caribbean Sea and neighboring islands. Guests can access the main hotel area for additional amenities. However, it's important to note that booking through Airbnb may limit access to certain facilities like the Coqui Water Park.
Beautiful location and stunning views from their multitude of pools and terraces. Stayed for several days with the family and it was a pleasant experience. Had a few issues with the rooms but the staff including Jan and Elizabeth took great care of things. The access to Palominos island was very nice as it was both private and beautiful. The water park was also perfect for spending time with the kids. They had a blast. Would plan to come back in future.
Darren L — Google review
We arrived at the property around 10 PM and immediately had trouble finding the casita. There was no lighting, and after a long, difficult walk we finally reached it—only to discover it was 98 degrees inside. I texted the contact number I was given, and was told it “should have been fixed.” The only options offered were a refund, buying fans ourselves (to be reimbursed), or moving to a different location. We chose the relocation, even though it meant moving at midnight in a foreign country with our kids. After a 30-minute drive, the “new” place was even worse: no AC, dirty, bed unmade, and clothes scattered everywhere as if someone was living there. At that point, it was nearly 2 AM, our kids were exhausted, and the situation was both stressful and scary. We had no choice but to drive around until we found a hotel on our own—paying nearly $500 for one night just to have a safe place to sleep. While we did eventually get a refund, we never received an apology. This was by far the worst lodging experience we’ve ever had, and I would not recommend this property to anyone.
Linda A — Google review
Beautiful setting with very attentive staff. You get to enjoy all the benefits of El Conquistador. Our favorite private beach on a private island. When dining on location be prepared to pay resort prices. On many occasions alcohol drinks were prepared very weak even for my wife who isn't much of a drinker. We overheard others say the same. Overall we had a great time and will be back

An Unforgettable Escape at Las Casitas Village! Las Casitas Village offers an unparalleled luxury experience that truly earns its 5-star rating. From the moment you arrive, you're enveloped in an atmosphere of relaxation and indulgence. The sheer variety of restaurant options means there's something to satisfy every craving, and with plenty of pools to choose from, you can always find your perfect spot, whether you're looking for lively family fun or a tranquil escape. For families, the Coquí Water Park is an absolute blast, providing hours of entertainment for all ages. And for the ultimate beach day, Palomino Island is a true paradise with its crystal-clear waters – it's an idyllic escape just a short boat ride away. Don't even get me started on El Cafecito; their coffee is nothing short of amazing and the perfect start to your day. As evening approaches, the live music transforms the resort into a vibrant dance floor, offering a marvelous way to unwind. Beyond the major attractions, the resort boasts an impressive array of amenities for all ages, from pool tables and ping pong to video games, ensuring there's never a dull moment. However, the standout feature was undoubtedly having our own dedicated butler. This personalized service made our stay feel truly catered to, anticipating our needs and exceeding our expectations at every turn. Las Casitas Village isn't just a place to stay; it's an experience to be savored. We can't wait to return!

I had an amazing stay. I stayed at villa 5507 next to the concierge. Elizabeth was so kind & accommodating. Eddie my butler- I did not see much of him. He was not available but he was very responsive & very kind carried all my bags to my room upon arrival. Steban really served as my butler although he wasn’t he gave me a tour of the island- he gave me great recommendations anytime I seen him passing by he always spoke & asked if I needed anything! Camillo -who works at the Italian restaurant was extremely professional and gave me a great recommendation on food option! The food was I would say a 6/10. The drinks were a 6.5/10. But the aesthetic . The scenery & my room was wonderful. I was able to get a golf cart to make my commute through out the resort easier. The staff I could brag about all day. They literally made my stay more enjoyable. Me personally- was treated like royalty the entire time. The infinity pool & Jacuzzi was breath taking. The pool was room temp which was perfect. Never crowded none of the days I stayed. I think the only downside which wasn’t really a down side cause it was consumable was the food + drinks.

We came here for dinner because it's at a convenient location near our Bio Bay Kayak tour. We only ordered some drinks and appetizers. Mojito, Sangaria, Medalla, and Passion fruit juice were all safe to order. Nothing can go wrong. 1. Fish nuggets were amazing! The fish was tender and fresh! And you can taste the freshness. 2. The chicken wings were pretty good too. I love how they seasoned them. 3. Seafood Salad in Garlic Butter was amazing. We asked for white rice and beans on the side as a side.....the white rice was amazing with the garlic butter sauce. So we asked for an additional order of white rice just to finish up the garlic butter sauce. Overall, amazing place, will come back again.

Outstanding food! We got the skirt steak. Perfectly prepared and didn’t even need a knife to cut it. Rice and beans tasted like abuelas! And not for nothing but, I’ve had a tone of extremely average empanadas on this island. This one? Over the top with flavor. Highly recommend and we will be back!

We tried the shrimp mufongo, salmon with passion fruit sauce, and two other things that i forgot the name of but pics are below. All of the food was good and tasty. My favorite was the salmon! It was really good. The staff was friendly as well.

Very tasty food! I’ve wanted to try coconut arepas so bad and visited this place to have some. It was amazing! I also tried a bit of my party’s food. The mofongo con churrasco was delicious! Mofongo itself was very tasty, no mayoketchup needed. The empanadillas de chapin were great too! The servers were attentive. I definitely recommend this place!

This restaurant has good food and good vibes. It is hard to find vegetarian food on the island, but the chef made a vegetarian mofongo that was delicious. My partner and son said this was the best calamari they’ve had. The service was a little slow and we waited 20 minutes for our check, but other that it was a great experience.

Food was good and there was lots of it too and prices were very much inflated to accommodate it. View was spectacular but staff was not nice. If you want to pay 150$ for meal for two, this is definitely your spot.

The food is sooooo delicious! I had a mango mojitos and the Churrasco with rice and beans. It was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. My companion had a coconut mojito and the mixed seafood mofongo (so flavorful). The service was excellent and the chef came out of greet us, she was so sweet. Will definitely be back when I visit fajardo again.

Our waiter was very friendly, helpful with explaining dishes and giving recommendations. Both meals were so delicious! Service was fast! One of the best dining experiences during our trip.

Seafood restaurant
Estrella del Norte Fajardo is a charming family-owned restaurant with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The service is excellent, and the food is simply delicious, especially the fresh seafood bought from the nearby seaport. The restaurant's bilingual staff creates a friendly and accommodating environment for all guests. Visitors highly recommend trying dishes like camarones al ajillo and mofongo con camarones a la criolla for an authentic taste of Puerto Rican cuisine.
Portion size was bigger than I thought it would be. Every plate comes with a small side salad and your choice of 1 side (fries, plantains, can’t remember the other options). You definitely get your money’s worth. Food was yummy. Garlic fish fillet was great. Very simple place to grab a meal after beaching or doing tourist activities.

This 42 years restaurant that to be honest I never been here until my gramps told me about it, we did go here and I was greeted with the friendly owner, who got us right away and order from us. This delicious food really nailed my stomach. To be honest I was not much hungry that day but somehow, it made me want to eat them all and I did, which obviously a great thing and specially my fianceé is here with me and first trying Mofongo and her Pollo al Ajillo, it went super well. You must go and try this restaurant, it is worth it. You won't be disappointed.

This place was incredible. We stumbled upon this after snorkeling at the nearby beach. The appetizers, lobster, and whole snapper were delicious. This was one of the best meals we had during our entire trip, and was better than more expensive meals we had in San Juan. Service was a bit slow, but the wait was worth it!

Incredible food. We had the chapin fritter, whole snapper, and garlic shrimp. Super fair prices in Fajardo. Service was good, food was great. The inside and outside area of the restaurant looks a little underwhelming, bit the food makes up for it. If you're staying at a resort and wanna change of pace, check this spot out.

This is a little family-owned place that the people in the neighborhood speak highly of. However, I just did not enjoy it. The atmosphere is that of a cafeteria and the decorations are very dated. The servers were nearly standoffish. My fish fillet was so dry it was nearly inedible until I drowned it in butter sauce.

Old restaurant near seven seas beach. Food was delicious and extremely fresh, I had fried shrimp and fried breadfruit. It came with a small extremely fresh salad. This place surely surprised me. Oh and the pinacolda was spot on!!

This is an amazing Mom and Pops ambiance restaurant. The service was excellent, the food was excellent, cleanliness excellent and price was great with proportions of the price. It may seem tiny but let me tell you that it is none stop. The seafood is fresh (since it's bought on the seaport which is near by. This was our third time visiting and everything was exquisite as it was on our first time. My husband is a Chef for the last 20 years and we rate this as a 5 star ⭐ location.

Seafood restaurant
Rincon Del Faro is a popular restaurant known for its delicious food and excellent service. The stuffed lobster is a must-try, as it comes generously filled with seafood on top of the lobster itself. The Sampler plate and Paella Criolla are also highly recommended, perfect for sharing among friends or family. While the mofongo with chicken was a bit dry, the overall dining experience was delightful. The restaurant offers large portions at affordable prices, making it great value for money.
Our family LOVED this restaurant. If you’re ever in the area or are willing to drive to Fajardo to eat an amazing meal that comes with great service, don’t hesitate to go to Rincón Del Faro. The portions are more than sufficient. The food is fresh and tastes amazing. I wish I could eat there everyday. No te arrepentirás! Muchas gracias al RDF!

We were practically forced to dine at Rincon Del Faro as a part of our combined El Yunque & bio bay tour. At the beginning of the tour we were asked to scan QR code and put the order in for our late lunch around 4pm since this place could get “real busy”! We were also told that the food was amazing and we wouldn’t want to miss it! Well - turns out none of the items we ordered were worth it… the chicken tenders were more like nuggets soaked in dripping oil … the chicken wings - which after observing the place we tried to cancel when they came around to take the order, we were told wasn’t an option since we had already put the order in earlier! These wings tasted stale! We pretty much wasted the entire food which wasn’t even cheap by any means! Overall we had an unpleasant experience! And oh, the place was pretty much empty other than our tour group - who also shared similar sentiments about the food!
Arch S — Google review
Bartender was extremely rude to guests and was selective as to which “rules” different diners were required to follow (no signage posted requiring patrons to wear shirts, it’s a beach bar, but bartender targeted young girls wearing bathing suits requiring them to wear shirts but would allow older guests to dine without). Additionally, it took 52 minutes to receive a drink from the bar. When asked for salt and pepper for an entire dish I was only provided a singular packet of each. The food at this establishment is under seasoned and over priced; not to mention the rude staff. A side salad is not inclusive of even a handful of lettuce and no dressing is available aside from vinegar and oil. If I could give a negative review, I would.

Water & Amusement Parks
Nestled within the El Conquistador Resort in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, Coquí Water Park is a must-visit family-friendly attraction. Accessible via quirky funiculars offering stunning views of the marina and Isleta Marina, this 2.4-acre water park features four thrilling water slides, a large main pool, and ocean vistas. Visitors can also enjoy activities like climbing the Torre De Yocahu Tower or relaxing on the Lazy River.
So much fun. It’s free if your staying at the resort. They have 3 slides and a lazy river. The pool is very relaxing. They had plenty of lounge chairs with umbrellas for shade. They provide towels. Food was very good too. Bathrooms are spotless. The only thing I didn’t like was that they don’t let you bring snacks in.
Alex D — Google review
Small water park best suited for families with kids. The slides are great and so is the lazy river along with the kiddie pool that turns into infinity pool.

Coqui water park is one of many aquatic experiences at el Conquistador resort. No tickets needed just be a guest. 9am to 6 pm, three water slides named "Huracan," "Gigante Dormido," and "Marohu." We really enjoyed this attraction.

Sooo fun! Three big waterslides including one with a free fall start. Lazy river and little kid waterslides too. At 4pm on a Sunday afternoon, very uncrowded and no lines. Also has dressing rooms, showers, etc plus food. Gorgeous views in the Caribbean too. Tip: have your friends take photos of you on the highest plunge slide from the bridge just in front of it. We visited in March 2022 and admission was included in the hotel stay - no additional charges as some reviews below indicate.

Enjoyed the place and staff working at the pool. Food service is pretty bad, long lines, wait and average options. Would be nice to have waiters around since being part of the hotel one might spend half day consuming.

Do not bother coming here at all if your children are not over ‘48 inches tall. They will be allowed to use 1 small slide. That is all. No exceptions. Doesn’t matter if you have a life vest or you are accompanied by an adult or know how to swim. Not worth it. Not worth the drive. Only 3 other slides anyway. Disappointing to say the least.

Located in the charming village of Las Croabas just a short drive north of Fajardo, Parque Pasivo Las Croabas offers a serene escape. The park provides a peaceful setting for picnics under the shade of trees while enjoying refreshing ocean breezes. It's an ideal spot for families, with opportunities for kids to ride bikes and play on swing sets with slides. Visitors can also take leisurely walks along the shore to observe crabs and birds.

I am giving 5 stars ⭐ after this visit since it was a weekday during our "Winter" when the place was deserted. During the Summer it would be a different experience, very crowded and noisy. Great place to bring the kids to spend a few hours, perhaps riding their bikes 🚲 . Many spots to have picnics under the 🌞 or a tree 🌴 enjoying the ocean 🌊 breeze. A couple of nice swing sets with slides. Excellent to walk along the shore looking at crabs 🦀, birds 🕊️ and more. There's plenty of parking. In the morning most businesses were closed, in the afternoon some of them opened.

Fun trip. Very peaceful on the way through the mangroves. Then once on the lagoon, the sunset was amazing. Guides good at keeping everyone safe even though several pairs were terrible at kayaking. Bioluminescence was cool, but hard to see over the side of the boat. If you leaned over enough to get a good look you would tip over. The trip back was uneventful but harder because you are paddling upstream. You should be in decent shape before trying the experience. Either that, or go with someone in excellent condition so they can do the bulk of the paddling for you both.
Kent P — Google review
A great time! We loved this experience: kayaking with the setting sun down the lake, the bioluminescent bay, then as we were getting ready to head back it started pouring, we got to Kayak against the current, under the rain, in the dark. It made it so much more fun and exciting! Guides were so helpful. This tour was a highlight of our trip!
Mery C — Google review
The staff did a fantastic job during our kayaking trip. Although there was a full moon, Felix, Manolo, and the other tour guide brought a tarp to cover all the participants to create a completely dark experience and see the bioluminescence organisms. The tour guides made our experience memorable.
Wcarromero — Google review
Fun experience! Best for even number in your party as no solo kayakers allowed. Be aware there will be other kayakers who have no experience and bring your patience for them. Biggest disappointment were the pictures the outfitter took. 95%+ were blurry. These are included, however, due to the poor quality, not sure why these are even provided.
Daniel S — Google review
We had a great time! There’s a lot I learned from reading other reviews prior to going, and that made a real difference. I will give a thorough explanation, so you know what to expect. The day before the tour, we received a call letting us know what time we would be picked up at our hotel. He arrived on time for when they said he would (at 6:10 pm). We were the first people picked up. We rode in an economy van that holds about 14 people (not a bus). He picked up everyone else along the route and we arrived at the kayaking location just after 8:00 pm. We were given time to use the restroom and change clothes in a bathroom if we needed to. They provided bug spray, but we had our own — after reading other reviews and tips, we made sure we had plenty! We were weighed individually to ensure we were under 230 lbs, then we signed another waiver. We were given life vests and a quick description of how to kayak. They took a group photo and individual kayak pictures (you get them from their Facebook page). We walked into the water that went up to my thighs. My flip flops were difficult to keep on and not get stuck in the muck. I’d recommend water shoes! Each kayak is a 2-person. No one kayaks alone — if you don’t have a partner, you’ll be paired up with someone you don’t know. You will kayak 1.5 miles each way (total 3 miles) in a narrow and winding canal that’s full of mangrove trees and an extensive root system. It was pitch black both there and back. Our only way of knowing where to go was to follow the kayak in front of you. We have a glow stick on the back of the kayak and that’s it — otherwise you can’t see where to go. Not being able to see and can be a bit scary at times, even for an adrenaline junkie like myself. Be prepared to run into root systems and trees! Especially if the kayak in front of you that you’re following goes off course and you’re following them! This is where long sleeves come in handy (low hanging branches can scratch and to deter bugs). It also rained on and off during our tour — that didn’t stop anyone! After winding back and forth through the narrow passage, moving aside for passing boats and other returning kayak tours, we make it to the open bay. They explain how bioluminescence works and why it exists. You can barely see the bioluminescence without additional means to make it darker out. The moon and cloud reflection of the town lights make it too bright. They drape a tarp over groups of 3 kayaks (you hold it up with your head or one hand). You splash around and you can see what looks like silver glitter, sparklers, or tiny little fireflies. We saw it best when we splashed the water on the kayaks and our legs. The more you splash and move it around, the more you see it. You will not see constant glowing water like photos may lead you to believe. It’s not a glow as much as a sparkle or tiny flash. It’s tiny flashes that leave very quickly. You can’t swim in the bay and it’s so dark out there that you don’t want to tip your kayak. We tried to record it with our phones, but it didn’t work — you couldn’t see anything in the videos. After learning a little about bioluminescence and viewing it under the tarp, we returned back through the narrow canal. By this point, my friend and I got the hang of how to communicate with each other to know when to go faster or slower, left or right, etc. This helped a lot! After we got back, they provided a small bottle of water and an individual bag of chips (variety to choose from). You could rinse off your legs and feet with an outdoor faucet. You could change into dry clothes in the restrooms before getting back on the van. They had the photos posted on their Facebook page within 30 minutes of us leaving. Since we were the first picked up, we were the first dropped off. We got back around 11:00 pm. OVERALL TIPS: 1. Wear bug spray 2. Wear water shoes 3. Wear long sleeves 4. Don’t wear pants 5. Bring cash to tip the guides. They deserve it! They are funny, friendly, and knowledgeable. What else could you ask for in a tour guide?!
Tonya D — Google review
My friend and I had an open, non-scheduled late-February visit to Puerto Rico, except for our bio bay tour. Manolo, Talia, and Pedro were wonderful guides that truly brought the activity to life. Because of their helpful exuberance, the night kayaking through the channel's trees was an incredible experience on its own. Even with all the newbie kayakers going wonky and rarely straight. We were prepared for low bioluminescene because of the full moon, but they still taught us about the bay's properties, helped us find water "sparks" under a tarp, and did some fun stargazing. Also, Talia took a photo of each kayak at the start of the paddling. The only minor black mark on the tour was the pick up and drop off process. A personal hotel pick up is great...until it's multiplied. Just a central pickup would be best, that way the bus arrives on time and people get home at a reasonable hour. Tips: definitely wear water shoes, do NOT bring a backpack, have some kayak experience (preferably, but they cover basics), and bring cash for tips. They deserve it!
Chelsea D — Google review
October 2025. At the moment, the Bioluminescent Bay tour is nothing like what you see in the pictures or expect from the descriptions. The tour consists of about 30 minutes of paddling in a kayak, followed by being asked to go under a tarp with a group of people — it’s cramped, hard to breathe, and only a few faint glowing sparkles appear in the water. When you ask why there’s no glowing bay as advertised, the guides will tell you about algae or environmental changes affecting visibility — but they only mention this in the middle of the tour, once you’ve already paid and paddle to the bay. Unfortunately, it feels misleading and leaves you disappointed after all the effort and expense.
Mario * — Google review
Guides did their job and got us to the bioluminescent bay. My wife loved the bay, seeing the sparkle from the bioluminescence. The bay has dimmed considerably over the last ten years, due to various reasons. The guides were having a good time cracking jokes and making a lot of noise, so if you’re looking for a quieter tour, I’d recommend a different operator.

Racar Sea Food is a casual dining spot with a beachfront location, offering delicious seafood and strong drinks. While the service may not be formal, it's attentive and friendly. The prices are reasonable compared to other nearby restaurants. Locals seem to frequent this place despite occasional odors from algae or sewage, which might bother some visitors. Additionally, there could be mosquitoes at night.
Great location where you can order your food and then go sit across the street in front of the beach to enjoy the views and breeze. They will holler at you when your food is ready! The crab alcapurrias, the pastelillos de chapín, and the coconut arepas are flavorful and very fairly priced, so it makes for a perfect regular spot for repeat visits. They also have a wonderful fish broth that goes really well with a freshly made coconut arepa. For $30 we fed a hungry group of three. Great prices and great flavors. Definitely a favorite stop anytime I'm in Las Croabas.

Excellent food and great local feel. Loved the tables by the water where we could watch all the action…. Chickens, boats, pelicans. It was a very special spot. To-go option was easy and the cashier took our orders. I really like their Cuban sandwich and the vegetable chorizo soup. It was a perfect meal to eat on a rainy day. They also have drive thru option if you want to stay in the car.

Unbelievable! This place has a great assortment of sandwiches. They all look delicious 😁. I've ordered the Omelette Trio sandwich; since we've stopped here for breakfast. Which, by the way, they also serve breakfast all day long. There is baked potatoes, wraps, and, salads. This place looks small from the outside, but it is big inside. Plus it's always busy and packed. Make sure to grab your seat 😁 and table. Love El Mesón!

Classic sandwiches, great quick bite. The spicy beef sandwich wasn't spicy at all, but still delicious! The chicken bbq sandwich and quesito are good too!

Large seating area/ shared with baskin robbins. Good service and If you are a tourist and have never tried el Meson before, I would definitely recommend.

I've been there many times. Inconsistent wait times and order inaccuracy are constant. Parking is almost nonexistant. Also presentation when ordering on the go could be WAY better. The picture was taken last time. Got home and saw that.

Puerto Rican restaurant
Located in the beautiful city of Fajardo, Kasavista Restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious food options for all tastes. Their seafood chowder soup, spicy rice balls stuffed with manchego cheese, and fried calamari are just some of their appetizers.
My Fiancé & I googled places to eat in PR & our first stop after landing in San Juan was Kasavista! The food was incredibly delicious!! the view from inside the restaurant is amazing! And you have the option for outdoor seating & From the moment you walk inside the manager Osvaldo is so welcoming & friendly! We enjoyed the queso frito & chorizo for appetizer, which is so filling ! And I had the mofongo y carne frita and he had the pollo Mofongo!!! Which blows any Mofongo I’ve ever had out of the water !! (& I love Mofongo) I was so full I had some to take home and somehow we managed to eat the tres leches cake with a strawberry drizzle which is a must have !!! Don’t even think about it just plan your visit & lastly Being able to take a beer to go & walk by the beach is an added bonus!

Excellent Customer Service by Ileana and the food was amazing!!!! Beautiful view near to the beach Las Cabezas. The shrimp with coconut and curry sauce and risotto is amazingly delicious. And the crepa too. We share the paella was tasty.

Great restaurant. Juan was a very friendly and welcoming waiter. The arroz maspoteao was delicious. The 3 other people with me had different plates and they loved them. They had churrasco, salmon, stuffed chicken breasts and mero. All commented on how great the food was. Mashed malanga is a must have. The owner/manager came by and greeted us. Will return on next PR vacation.

This restaurant is a must visit if you are in Fajardo and you are vegetarian. Great ambiance, amazing food and a super friendly staff who would make you feel welcomed the moment you enter the doors till you step out. We visited this on our visit to PR during Holidays . Given that we are vegetarians and this being a sea food restaurant, we had our reservation but were not disappointed. Our server 'Izarie' was very warm and patiently answered to all our questions and customized our order as we required. We ordered Alfredo pasta - which btw was the best i have ever eaten.Con Pallaela and spicey rice balls were delicious too. The best part were the desserts - we ordered chocolate lava cake and Tres leches ( which was so delicious that we ordered a second serving ) totally worth the calories ;) . After a long day at the rain forest this was a very welcomed experience and definitely added to our Happy memories of great hospitality of Puerto Rico. Definitely recommend!

Nice cozy spot to eat. Wanted a late night 8pm meal before the bioluminescence kayak tour. Juan was a great host and got us in and out timely. Great food. Had the chicken mofongo with garlic my favorite. Try the rice balls.

Service was GREAT. I ordered the MOFONGO w/FRIED PORK. The PLATIN (big macho banana) was dry and NOT SWEET at all. They use the green Platin which I didnt know And the PORK was way over fried. I will try something else next time.
