If you're looking for accommodation where price and quality are balanced, this is perfect. There's nothing to complain about regarding the location! It offers an excellent view of the mountains, and the guesthouse is ideally situated right next to the slopes.
However, the guesthouse itself is far from perfect. The owners do their best, but as mentioned, the quality matches the price. Don't expect much from breakfast—it’s very minimal. The room is fine, but the blankets are made of polyester, meaning you won’t just recharge while sleeping but also from the static electricity of the blankets.
Additionally, the owners have a few rules, including leaving your key in the basket at reception when you're outside the guesthouse. This way, they know you're not present, and you can avoid standing in front of a locked door at 9:30 PM in -10°C for 30 minutes.
If you're an animal lover, this is also an ideal place. Upon arrival, you're greeted by two geese that, to put it mildly, are not very friendly. Upon entering the hallway, you’re welcomed by the scent of cat food, and while enjoying a beer, you'll find the cat staring at you from the bar.
Speaking of beer, don’t expect to spend a cozy evening playing a game with a drink in the guesthouse. At 9:30 PM, the door to this area is closed, forcing you to go to your room. However, if a group of friends of the owners happens to visit, the rules suddenly change. At 11:30 PM, the space is still open, beer and other refreshments suddenly become free for them, and guests are expected to make room.
All in all, the location is perfect. You won’t find a better spot for this price anywhere else. However, the points mentioned above are things to keep in mind when considering booking.
