I'll never travel to Tiger without this trip planner again
It is a workout because there are so many stairs, but it is SO worth it. You can go at your own pace and take breaks. Breathtaking views, you must go.
The view spot from the power plant is good but you need some binoculars to enjoy it even more.
There is not a lot to do there other than enjoying the scenery.
We came here by mistake while searching for the Tallulah Gorge State Park, that one is more recommended IMO
Amazing location. Be organized though on your parking as I missed the south side of the gorge and went straight to the park. But you can walk the bridge over to that side too! Beautiful. Plan to spend a good half day if you really want to enjoy it!

Pack out what you pack in when hiking down to Sliding Rock due to potentially dangerous conditions
Avoid unsafe parts near busy roads by planning your route carefully during your visit

Very beautiful area with a big river, 1000 foot deep gorge with a hanging bridge, and lots of trails and waterfalls. I highly recommend you don’t miss this stop on your vacation.
The views were amazing! Thank you for the information about the 510 steps it is from the bottom. I would not have been able to make it back up. I did like the fact that you had several other trails and view points of the area. I could still walk the trails and enjoy of this beautiful area. I would like to make it my goal to return and complete the full trail down to the bridge and cross the gorge. We had an amazing time.
It depends on when you visit! We've compiled data from NASA on what the weather is like in Tiger for each month of the year: see the links below for more information.
