The Anderson County Museum is a modest yet captivating space that offers an immersive journey through the rich history of Anderson County and South Carolina. With over 25,000 artifacts on display, visitors can gain a profound understanding of the area's heritage. The museum also features a Research and Reading room with an extensive collection of historical images and books for public access. From military exhibits to relics spanning many decades, this museum is a must-visit for history enthusiasts looking to delve into the past of Anderson County.
I visited this museum for the first time recently while in Anderson. I admit that I wasn't expecting much from a free museum. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by how nice this museum was. For a local history museum, they have a very extensive collection. Some of the exhibits reminded me of the SCSM in Columbia, which I love. I also loved the activity tables throughout the museum, they kept my toddler occupied. If in Anderson, this museum is definitely worth the visit.

If you haven't been in a few years like myself then you are past due. The new exhibits are quite impressive. Good a/c on a hot days. Nice bathrooms. Took our family visiting from Texas and they had a nice time. There's a Lego play area for kids needing a break. And even a talking hologram!! Adequate parking as well as handicapped parking very handicap accessible throughout the building. Photo opportunities throughout near Anderson County downtown historic district.
Pamela P — Google review
Took a homeschool group here from Greenville, SC. So much information and fun. Jacob helped us organize our visit, taught our lesson on aviation, and our craft. Deanna was our guide tour and was so fun and very knowledgeable about Anderson history. We loved this museum and a couple of teens said this museum was better than the state museum. It was very clean too. We highly recommend visiting this museum.
Crystal W — Google review
My 8-year-old son adores the Anderson Museum. He loves all of the exhibits and the kids' events and programs they offer. The staff is kind and helpful and the facilities are clean.
Emily B — Google review
Wow! This was one of the best museums I have been to. It was so interesting and very well thought out with the layout of each section. There were so many displays that I easily spent hours here. I loved the audio buttons that gave me a much deeper understanding of the exhibits. This is a very impressive museum!!
Margaret — Google review
Interesting free museum of local Anderson, good primer for local history. It is organized by categories, not by sequential events.
Izzy S — Google review
My home town has a a past?! This wonderful museum celebrates the history, the highlights and low points, and all things Anderson SC. There are wonderful glimpses into the past with paintings, pictures, models and everything going between. I was pleasantly surprised when I visited at how well this museum was put together and I am currently recommending it to all my neighbors. I easily spent 3 or 4 hours reading everything!
Michael B — Google review
One of the best times I had with my fiance James Neill before he passed away on May 3, 2019. He was so proud to show off his southern Heritage and I had an amazing time learning so much about the history of Anderson, SC.

The collection of spirits includes award-winning flavored moonshines like Pina Colada and Peach, craft whiskeys, and ready-to-drink cocktails. Visitors can enjoy free tours of the facility to learn about the distilling process and participate in a choose-your-own-adventure tasting experience.
Fantastic find in Anderson SC!! The First/Oldest LEGAL (tax and all 🤷😂) Distillery in South Carolina...if I understood correctly. Very economical flight testings..$5!! 🙌🙌 Great tasty flavors of homemade Moonshine 😋😋 My faves, Butter Pecan, Apple Pie, and their homemade Whiskey. Jaime was a fantastic hostess and provided some really cool historical information along w great hospitality!! I'll be back!!
J S — Google review
We weren't too far from here so why not stop by and grab some goodies!! Tastings are $5 a flight. Rootbeer and Salted Caramel Moonshine are my favorites. Good, friendly service. And the bartender was very patient with us!!
Pamela B — Google review
Excellent staff and product. Did a tasting. Great variety available. Staff super knowledgeable even putting my selections in a good order. Premix margs and bloody Marys available along with jellies, hot sauce, and BBQ sauce. Sadly lacking on minis in both the liquor, jellies, and other items. Would have liked to taste non-alcoholic items as well but this was not available. Neat location and shop.
Denise G — Google review
Couldn’t do a tour but our time was nice. Still have us lots of information.
Kelley B — Google review
This place is amazing. The people are super friendly and the moonshine is off the charts. Go here for a tasting and you'll leave with a few jars. The salted Carmel and root beer are my favorite.
Bryan C — Google review
I had fun at our first Halloween Comedy and Cocktail night. Unfortunately the sound around us was so loud that we could barely hear the comedians. But the atmosphere was great, everybody was fun dressed up, the drinks have been great (only just a bit pricey). But overall we will come back.
Stephanie M — Google review
This place is AWESOME! The people are great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend stopping by here. ❤
Candy J — Google review
This was absolutely the highlight of our trip! The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The moonshine is by far the best we’ve tried. We did the tasting and if I could I would give them 10 stars.

Carolina Bauernhaus Brewery & Winery

Brewery
Food & Drink
Nestled just outside of Anderson, South Carolina, Carolina Bauernhaus Brewery & Winery is a delightful destination for craft beer enthusiasts. Founded by three passionate local homebrewers, this brewery pays tribute to the region's rich agricultural heritage through its unique ales. Drawing inspiration from Belgian and German brewing traditions, Carolina Bauernhaus crafts an array of locally brewed beers that boast complex flavor profiles and celebrate local ingredients. Visitors can enjoy these freshly brewed creations in their inviting taproom located in downtown Anderson.
We were from out of town and staying in Anderson for a wedding. Stopped by here on our way to the wedding to try the wine since we'd never had S. Carolina wine. Turns out, the wine had just been put in the barrels so wasn't ready. So, instead we tried a flight of ciders and beers. They were all very tasty! The atmospere inside was very nice, too. We stopped by at about 3:00 so it was pretty quiet, but I'm sure that it gets more full later in the day. Thanks! Cheers!

Was staying in SC for a couple months and found this spot looking up open mics. My gawwwd, the talent here is crazy! Can't wait to go back to play. The staff is very friendly and informative.
Randy J — Google review
I've been coming here for about 10 years or so. The owners & beer-tenders have always been friendly, & they have a good variety of beers, & they strive to make their brews from local ingredients. I adore their winter brews that debut in December - their beer Nacht is literally my favorite beer ever! I love coming here on Mondays when they do their Open Mic nights 😊 The people here are awesome!
Kat C — Google review
Interesting decor, very low-key which is up our alley. We really enjoyed the hefe we had and had fun reading all the stickers on thr fridge. Love seeing far-flung places that we've actually been to. 😀 Thanks for letting my hubby play the piano.
C W — Google review
In 4.5 months of travel and brewery tasting, this has been our favorite! The level of quality was just through the roof on every beer, and after 4.5 months of no saisons I was very happy to find one. The beertender made us feel so welcome, including our two pups. Definitely give this place a visit!!
Katelyn G — Google review
Decent place with a rustic appeal like a 70’s basement. Somewhat cluttered visual without a branded vibe. No rhyme or reason to the list of libations and use of color from the customer’s perspective. No IBU ratings listed. We like the barrel table look. Beer is good enough. Orange cream soda isn’t what you would expect. Suggest you sample first. Beer a 4, setting a 2 and service a 3 out of 5.
Keith T — Google review
This was our first time at the Baurenhaus. The beer and brauts were good. The atmosphere was mellow, not too crowded for a Friday night. We enjoyed listening to Tumbleweed Ted and even got a few dances in.
Damon F — Google review
Great variety of beers. A bit of wine for those who don't care for beer. Neat, funky local place. Great, cheerful service.

Art center
Sights & Landmarks
Nestled in the heart of Anderson, South Carolina, the Anderson Arts Center stands as a vibrant testament to the local arts scene. This cultural gem is situated within a meticulously restored historic building that once served as a railway storehouse. Visitors are greeted by stunning distressed wood floors and charming hand-hewn beams that whisper tales of yesteryear. The center is not just an art gallery; it’s an experience where creativity flourishes through rotating exhibitions showcasing diverse mediums like painting, sculpture, and photography.
This is a beautiful venue for a wedding! The exposed brick gives a rustic feel. Being able to use all the rooms allows your guest to enjoy the art placed throughout the building.
FCE E — Google review
I come here for church on Sundays so I can't exactly review how the ambiance of the art gallery goes but I can review of the building and the art. The building, so I've heard, used to be an old storehouse for a railway system, so there are beautiful distressed wood floors and what looks like hand hewn beams. The brick walls look filled with history. The building without art is an exhibit itself. The old elevator shafts are boarded up and the wooden frame and mechanical components have been left behind. The art changes about once a month and usually it's very cool. Sometimes it's a little odd or ugly but who am I to interpret that?
Benjamin C — Google review
The Anderson Arts Center is a very nice place. My best friend, Anita, had two of her works of art displayed there this evening. She sold one early in the evening!❤ They were very beautiful. The venue is very lovely and has Lots of Amazing Art to Enjoy!
Sonya H — Google review
We love the Anderson Arts Center! We have worked with them before as vendors (Videography) and have rented space for a 30th birthday party! The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable and goes above and beyond! We love how involved they are with the community! And of course the art is always worth a stop in to appreciate!
Shyana G — Google review
My son used to take art lessons here, he loved it very much😁

Loved the T.L.Hanna High School Wearable Art Show! The creations made by the students and teachers were awesome! #tlhwearableartexhibition2021
Sandra C — Google review
Great venue for parties or meetings! Very historic; wonderful art displayed.
Beth D — Google review
Love this place! My child took art camp here last summer and she loved it!!! The theme was "Back to The Future." They have the nicest staff and are very professional about the drop off/pick up of the children. They have different camps and activities for kids year around. The interior is beautiful and full of amazing art from local artists. There are other small organizations located inside of this old, large, and historic building. This is definitely where you want to be!

Rocky River Nature Park

Park
Nature & Parks
Nestled within the city limits of Anderson, Rocky River Nature Park spans an impressive 400 acres and is home to the largest swamp in the Upstate region. This serene park offers a delightful escape into nature, featuring diverse wetland areas and open waters perfect for canoeing and kayaking adventures. For those who prefer to explore on foot or by bike, there are numerous trails winding through picturesque landscapes, as well as equestrian paths for horseback riding enthusiasts.
Nice clear easy trails to walk or run here at Rocky River Nature Park. Dog friendly. There are no restrooms in this park.
Diona M — Google review
I liked the trails and just the pure nature of it all. If you're over 6 foot tall, please beware of low hanging spider webs. Have a bald head, they just rolled off, but there were some close calls. One disappointment I had was people not picking up their dogs' crap. Love dogs and no problem with them being there. I missed one pile, but wasn't so lucky on the second. Luckily I had extra shoes in my car. Clean up after your dog people.
David C — Google review
Neat park with hiking trails. Some very cool labeled spots to observe the wetlands of the park as well, right off of the trails. There are so many interesting plants and insects all around that it was not so much of a hike for us as it was an exploration, with many stops to investigate all the curiosities.
Sarah R — Google review
Absolutely beautiful and peaceful trails. It is mostly level with a few areas that would be difficult for limited mobility or people with a stroller or small children. Highly recommend!
K C — Google review
great place to walk in nature amazing place thanks Anderson college for keeping it up
Matt B — Google review
Rocky River Nature Park is a work in progress, and I'm excited to see what Anderson University will do with it in the future. Currently, the park has a boardwalk going over a swamp with several of what I would call old four-wheeler trails weaving all over the place. The trails are mainly dirt except for the entrance, which is gravel. Trails are suitable for trail running and walking dogs but not much else (sadly, no bikes are allowed). Dogs must be leashed.
Likeπ — Google review
In my opinion, this park is a hidden gem. Bikes aren’t allowed so it’s the perfect place for a dog owner like me to take my dogs (leashed) and truly enjoy nature. It’s absolutely beautiful and so very peaceful here. The only thing I’d like to see one day are waste stations because as of now, you have to carry your dog’s poo. I didn’t even see a trash can on site so, I had to take it with me to dispose of elsewhere. FYI: the entire trail is dirt and the entrance is gravel so, this is not a handicap accessible park. I will definitely go back because I prefer places like this that aren’t flooded with people.
Kristen J — Google review
This is a nice set of various trails. They make for an easy hike to get a few steps in in a beautiful environment

CocoBon Chocolatier

Mentioned on

Chocolate shop
Candy store
CocoBon Chocolatier in Anderson, South Carolina, is a charming shop that offers a delectable selection of handmade traditional chocolates and confections. The owners were inspired to open the shop after their favorite chocolatier closed, aiming to preserve the tradition with unique recipes using locally sourced ingredients. Conveniently located in downtown Anderson, this hidden gem exudes an old-world charm and invites visitors to indulge in its delightful chocolate aroma.
Find gorgeous chocolate truffles, delicious chocolates, and excellent service in the heart of Anderson, SC- the Electric City’s top-shelf chocolatier. The staff, two teenage girls, were very friendly and knowledgeable. We had lots of questions about the chocolates and truffles, and they were able to answer each one. We bought a gift box of a dozen to take home- a gift for ourselves! The young lady kindly wrote out a “map” of the box for us so we knew what we would be tasting when we got home. The prices were very reasonable for such good quality bonbons. I highly recommend a visit.
James B — Google review
Great place, nice people, excellent chocolate. If anyone wants to see how the magic happens, they offer a chocolate-making class that is worth every penny. You get to go back in the kitchen and make truffles from scratch, and they work with you to come up with your own unique creation from start to finish. So fun, and so worth it.
Charles V — Google review
The cashier was very nice. They make the chocolate themselves. All chocolate is very pretty. The store is very cute.
Kelley B — Google review
Such a cute little place! The chocolates we tried are the dark marshmallows, caramel macchiato, and tiramisu. Everything was so good. Willy Wonka has nothing on them. I think the chocolate tasted better knowing that the girls that sell them wear Victorian dresses.
Isabella L — Google review
Best place in Anderson to buy quality chocolate! My wife and I stopped in for a treat after having dinner at one of the nearby restaurants. One of the great things about CocoBon is it’s right in downtown Anderson walking distance from many of the best restaurants around. The shop is great - clean and organized and well lit. The service is great. The owner is always in character with that outfit he wears. I’m not sure if it’s something vintage chocolatier or what but anytime I see an outfit like that I think about CocoBon chocolate 🍫 😋
Mark A — Google review
I love CocoBon. Yes, the chocolate is a little pricey, but they make it all in house. It’s delicious! This place is for the serious chocolate lover. You will want to savor every bite. Sometimes, I bring my kids in after their piano lessons upstairs, and the staff is so patient and friendly as they get to pick their one piece of nice chocolate. I highly recommend this place!
Beth E — Google review
Always a pleasant visit and as usual the most delicious and creative truffles! CocoBon is one of the best little shops in downtown.
Stewart L — Google review
Very impressive place. Love the theme as much as the unique chocolates.

We were here to see The Little Mermaid. I didn't get to explore the area much, but the park looked nice and clean.

Great metro park in the central district of Anderson SC. The park is upscale and modern with plenty of public parking nearby. The tiered levels make this a great location for small shows or musical acts. The park is smoke free and very clean. I was unable to locate a public restroom within the park.

Happy cozy place with electric personality from the staff. There selection was great Saturday night 👍! Not many places have bourbon county stout and 120 minute by Dogfish Head, lol. Great place to chill in a corner or get involved in n a conversation at the bar.
RBryant S — Google review
My heart is broken the Greenville location is now gone. Sara was awesome! The young lady who cooked the burgers and fries did such a great job! I particularly liked seeing the train go by and the outside fireplace. Ambiance, friendly staff and a quiet respite from a crazy busy day.

Nestled within the Anderson Sports & Entertainment Center, this playground boasts an impressive array of play structures including a grand wooden castle, a pirate ship, and an enchanting treehouse that invites exploration. Kid Venture 2.
Amazing park for younger/little kids. Fully fenced in, bathrooms and water fountains available. A few shaded seating areas, summer splash pad, a toddler playground and a kid playground. My 2 year old loved all of it.
Alyssa B — Google review
Nice gated and updated park. Only three stars because the bathrooms are oversized and could have been used for stalls to avoid waiting in lines. There is also not much to do. There is a very small toddler area that is super cute, but not very interactive. More for imaginative play that seems more fitting for a children’s museum than an outdoor park. The area for the older kids is also very small with little to do. My oldest ended up just climbing on everything and my youngest was bored of the toddler area, but the older play area was extremely dangerous for him. I have heard that they are adding more to do, so we would like to come back when it’s all done to try again. We also were not able to do the water park yet since it doesn’t open until Memorial Day weekend, so I think that will make a difference as well.
Emily L — Google review
This is a very nice park for little kids. It's completely enclosed, and has many benches, and many covered tables. Parking is usually good. My 2 yr old loves the little farm buildings.
Jessica J — Google review
First time visiting here but definitely won't be our last! On a hot summer day this isna great place to cool down in the splash pad. Plenty of space for all the kids to play. There's also a playground to play on as well as a splash pad. There's lots of shaded areas and tables to sit and have a lunch! There are restrooms and water fountains. And when we visited there was even a ice cream truck. Definitely a great spot to visit with the kids on a nice summer day!
Tony G — Google review
Cool playground concept - though it’s 100% in the sun. There’s a few benches with shade, but that’s it. There was one small, little playground for toddlers, but that’s it (the wooden ones in some pictures had been torn down). It’s fully gated though, which is a huge plus. Overall great playground, just limited as far as actual things to climb/play on and the lack of any shade covering for the kids makes it tough (these are the dock of star).
Daniel F — Google review
Nice newly renovated park and bonus!! It has bathrooms. The splash pad is great and the playground equipment is cute - love the soft rubber material on the ground. The pond next to the park is great to feed the ducks our old bread. 🦆
Molly S — Google review
Loved the old park but the new updated one is even better. Lots of fun for little kids while keeping safety in mind. Great layout, fun thoughtfully designed equipment. Lots of space for kids to play and even some places for mindful parents to mix and mingle. The splash park is only open Saturdays and Sundays as far as I could tell so keep that in mind and pack accordingly.

Went here last Saturday the park is very nice and clean seems safe also parking lot is usually full on Saturdays especially when weather is nice .

Went to Kid Rock concert this weekend. Absolutely a mess. Long long lines for food and beverages. The cost of items very high. Porta Potty absolutely disgusting. Not cleaned from Friday concert No toilet paper. VIP tickets the most expensive had no seats available. You had to stand for all artists and pay the most. Stated we had a VIP tent with seats and food. Not for the amount of people they sold tickets too. Very unsatisfying to say the least. Spent over $1200 for what???
Noreen C — Google review
Bought two day tickets for July 25th, 2025 Rock the Country event. Arrived about 3 PM on Friday. 30,000 people already there. Temperature on field was 98 degrees. Only shade was a small misting tent that maybe held 100 people standing. People experiencing heat exhaustion. First Aid tent inadequate. Two free water bottle filling stations . Each line constantly 50 people long. Totally inadequate. Rest rooms were all the way at one end of this huge field. I'm not even gonna mention the exorbitant prices for all the concessions. Left at 11 PM, totally exhausted from the experience, but lucky to be alive! Announced attendance 40,000 people. So bad, I didn't even come back for the next day's performances. Forfeited $320 in motel, ticket and parking expenses. Sadly, this was the same experience last year according to a previous review. Didn't attend last year, but if this was an improvement, I'm glad I didn't.
Robbie D — Google review
This is a very nice complex. Many opportunities to enjoy the amenities that this place offers. From tennis, soccer to baseball and more, you truly find something to enjoy from this park.
Sean M — Google review
The staff are friendly, otherwise a 1 star review. It otherwise was awful. Problems include: 1: We paid for parking, but it was so hard to get in that we just paid $25 to park at the Elk's club. 2: No shade and one small tented area to get a break from the sun. We witnessed several heat strokes. 3. The vendors were way expensive, even compared to other venues, and they were all different, so if you got a bottomless drink at one, others would not honor the free refill and required you buy their own expensive bottomless drink. They would not even let you just buy a refill. My son stood in a "free refill" line for ten minutes, only to find this all out. 4. Other venues have large screens throughout so you could see the performers no matter where you were. This place had two big screens by the stage and nowhere else. With the flat topography, it was hard to see the performance. Other than that, the staff were all friendly and helpful and the problems are not their fault.

Nice and clean facility. Occasionally have trouble finding parking due to events and games happening. Generally feel really on the walking tracks.

A very nice multi-purpose venue serving a small city and the surrounding area. Plenty of parking and easy access to the venue. It sits in a sports complex with a large playground, walking track, tennis courts, ball fields, and a sizable lake.

J Peters Grill & Bar

Bar & grill
Nestled in the charming town of Anderson, SC, J Peters Grill & Bar offers a delightful dining experience that combines American cuisine with a stylish pub-like atmosphere. This dog-friendly spot invites you to bring your furry friend along to enjoy the outdoor covered patio while you indulge in an array of mouthwatering dishes. Start your culinary journey with their irresistible honey butter croissants or spicy fried shrimp before diving into hearty main courses like the blackened tuna salad or succulent prime rib sandwich paired with crispy fries.
We have always loved J Peters. It has been almost 10 years since we moved from Anderson to Phoenix. It was so nice to see this place still serving quality food, generous portions and all with excellent and friendly service. We had the Prime Rib and Sirloin and Shrimp with a house salad. Both were phenomenal. The atmosphere is great in ole downtown Anderson. Hopefully it won't be so long before we can come back.

Thank you, Cassandra, for making our first visit a pleasant one. The food was wonderful and plenty. You went above and beyond to take care of our table of four. I highly recommend (my plate) the Flounder Fillet Platter and (my husband's) Slow Roasted Prime Rib Sandwich seved with Au Jus, and his side was fries. I hope to visit again next time we are in downtown Anderson.

We have not been to JPeters in a long time so we decided to stop by because my wife loves their salads. We ordered the soup and salad with the she crab soup. The soup tasted real salty. I asked the waiter about it and he said that he doesn't think they put extra salt in it. He did not go ask the cooks or anything or offer me anything different. I usually finish all my soup when it's really good. This time it wasn't. Will definitely not be coming back any time soon. Bad food and bad service.
Jm S — Google review
The food here has gone down hill. We ordered the house burgers and got under cooked meat and soaking wet buns. Why would you put meat directly off of the grill onto the bun? Have you never heard of resting meat first? Yall were not even busy. Unacceptable for your high prices. Fired before you're hired..Again😪
Sharia C — Google review
We eat here frequently. The food is always good. Today we had lunch and Mike was our server. He was a nice guy and very attentive to our needs. Our go to food here is the chicken strip plate. There’s enough food on the plate to split it between both of our girls (and add on a 2nd salad and have strips to top my salad). It’s not the cheapest but for the atmosphere, food quality and service, the price reflects. Good food, family atmosphere, kind/attentive service. Photos here: hot lava shrimp, chicken strip plate (already split between 3), house salads, brownie dessert.

Food was great! Quick service! Croissants are a must appetizer.

We had a frustrating experience at J peter’s. Called them 2 weeks before we were planning on eating there and told them I would have a party of 15 to 20 people and asked if they could accommodate that big of a party they told me yes and that I did not need to make a reservation. Called them again while we were on the way to the restaurant and told them we would be there in 30 minutes and told them we would have 16 people. They said that sounded great. When we arrived they acted like they never received our call and told us we would have to wait 20 minutes. We ended up having to wait OVER 40 minutes. When we were finally seated we all had to sit at 3 separate tables and we could not eat together. I wish they would have just told me to begin with that they would not be able to accommodate a large party so that we could have ate at a restaurant where would could all sit together. The food was great but the overall experience was extremely disappointing.

I highly recommend for groups looking to Have a nice dinner in Anderson. I had a little bit of a wait but was able to get our food pretty quickly once seated. I had a 10 oz sirloin that was cooked to perfection.

Sullivan's Metropolitan Grill

Fine dining restaurant
Sullivan's Metropolitan Grill is a delightful dining destination that beautifully marries Southern charm with upscale cuisine, all set in a historic building that once served as a 19th-century hardware store. Nestled in the heart of downtown Anderson, this family-owned gem has evolved into one of the city's premier fine dining establishments.
What an enjoyable evening celebration for my birthday! As shown, these 5 entrees were reminiscent of our prior experiences in Charleston, S C. , which were all excellent. The pork chops were juicy and tender, and the salmon wellington was a big hit. The evening's special was a mouth-watering chicken scallopine. The portions were also large, and I simply could not finish the moist and delicious carrot cake dessert!
Doug M — Google review
I had Sullivan's catered for my wedding in May and absolutely LOVED IT! The food was a crowd favorite. Food has always been a form of love for my family, and they were very impressed. The catering process was seamless and easy. The variety was amazing, which you cannot find with most catering places. From pork tenderloin to shrimp and grits & crab cakes to the mash potato bar - everything was amazing! They really worked with us on exactly what we wanted. I could not recommend more for any event!
Kaeia P — Google review
Service was great and I love the building and atmosphere. The big problem was the food, everything lacked flavor and I feel the price doesn’t match what I’m receiving. The calamari was bland, very oily, and over cooked. Both pasta dishes lacked flavor, they tasted liked they were leftover reheated in a microwave. The desserts and drinks were great. I’ve been here several times before and the food was excellent just upset I’m paying so much for something that tasted subpar.

Atmosphere was great! The food was excellent. Our mix drinks were also good we were not disappointed. & Big shout out to our waiter Ms.Angie she was very sweet and nice. Kept checking on us. We told her we were going to share a steak and she had it cut already for the both of us before the food came out. We came during dinner time. Loved the place clean and nice. Bread rolls was amazing too. I got the blackened salmon with rice & stuffed bone in pork chops…. With a side of steak. Didn’t get a pic of the steak ate it😭😭😭. We payed about $190 ! And we didn’t mind for this excellent service !!! it was I saw my birthday She brought a candle to the table and let me blow it out.

Enjoyed our dinner reservation for four on a Saturday night with family. Our server was on top of it and knew the menu like the back of his hand. The ribeye was good (not market price good, but good!). The rest of the table ordered the special which was Trigger Fish, Scallops, Shrimp, & Risotto which they all loved as a light, flavorful meal. It was a little loud in the restaurant, but we still enjoyed the experience. We did try one of the dessert case items and I look forward to trying more next time. Thank you!

We were able to celebrate our anniversary here last night. We always enjoy our time here from the food to the atmosphere. Our server, Andie, was awesome. Friendly, helpful to make suggestions, eager to answer our questions...just all around top-notched. We enjoyed the suggested appetizer special, and while it probably would not have been our first choice, we took Andie's suggestion and tried it. It was great. The combination of flavors made for a very enjoyable bite of food. Our entrees were enjoyable as well. I had the crabcakes and hubby had the NY Strip encrusted in horseradish. We always take home a dessert, but we were so full I could not even imagine ever eating again...

Sullivan’s catered our wedding and everyone still comments about how amazing our food was. We have to agree our wedding was made so special by Sullivan’s catering! Tonight we decided to try dining in to celebrate our niece. We all thought it was absolutely superb! Everything was top notch and full of flavor. I had the stuffed pork chops and it was actually probably the best meal I have ever had! We had the best and most attentive server, Racheal! Racheal made sure that we understood the menu, gave us all the highlights, and truly went above and beyond for us. We will absolutely be back. If you love good food, good service, and good atmosphere definitely eat at Sullivan’s! Don’t forget to ask for Racheal!

SummaJoe's

Mentioned on
1 list
$$$$affordable
Pizza restaurant
Restaurant
SummaJoe's is a local eatery that offers a variety of specialty pizzas, American dishes, and Lowcountry cuisine in a relaxed environment. The food quality at this seemingly pizza-focused restaurant pleasantly surprised me. Despite my initial hesitation to order the chef's special, oven roasted duck, I decided to take the risk. Additionally, I opted for the appetizers which consisted of delectable scallop and shrimp cakes.
I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food here. I was hesitant to order the chef special, which was oven roasted duck, at what looked like a pizza place. I decided to double down and get the scallop and shrimp cake appetizers. We also got the shrimp and grits. I was impressed. Everything was delicious. If I'm being super picky, the scallops, duck, and shrimp were slightly overcooked, but only by the slimmest of margins. I also thought the scallop appetizer was overpriced. At $16 we got 4 scallops. While good, it's definitely a little steep. Overall, I gave this place 5 stars based on the location and unassuming atmosphere that cranked out quality food.
Jose D — Google review
Pizza was fine. Waiter was fine. The location itself is very unsanitary. The floor was disgusting. Whole dining area needs a mark-over everything seemed to be in disrepair. You can see they just leave drinks jugs out next to customers on the window sill. I haven’t seen that before. Very off putting experience. The server brought over seasonings for our pizza’s but he was touching the lids with the tops of his hands after he was touching whatever else. Just seemed unsanitary. We are visiting the area and were disappointed.
Charles F — Google review
If the food could get zero stars, I would give it. While the staff is very kind, the food was absolutely disgusting. Hair on my pizza, and on the other slice my husband tried he spit it out and gagged— said the sauce tasted rancid. We left, didn’t finish, didn't take our leftovers and went to Publix to get something else to eat. Cheaper and better than what we got. Would highly recommend looking elsewhere for somewhere to eat— it’s not worth your money.

Fresh local food! Focaccia made in house. Husband has gluten allergy and they have several offerings other than a salad. I am vegetarian and able to choose between many offerings as well. Could easily veganize if you wanted to too! He had the pasta natural over rice with steamed veg. I had the veggie sandwich, side of tapenade (I really wanted to flavors of the muffuletta), horseradish potato salad and steamed veg. It was delicious. We will definitely be back!
Riann C — Google review
The restaurant was about 1/2 full as my wife and two college granddaughters met to eat. Waited a considerable amount of time on a waitress. Waitress finally came our way but stopped at a table that came in 10 minutes after we did. Waitress finally came and took drink order. Came back sometime later and ask if we were ready to order. I told her first she needed to get us a menu. We finally ordered and it was a very long wait for food.. She finally brought our order and asked us if we needed anything else. I said yes we need silverware. Three us had food that tasted great but my wife’s pizza was not hot. Not a great experience. This place has gone downhill since our previous visits. Will not be going back.

Barbecue restaurant
The Pompous Pig is a relaxed strip-mall establishment that offers delectable BBQ dishes such as ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. Alongside these flavorful meats, they also serve classic side dishes. Customers have praised the delightful chopped brisket which boasts lean meat and excellent taste. The brisket sandwich is equally enjoyable, with a savory flavor that satisfies the palate.
Really enjoyed lunch here at the Pompous Pig. I had a very tasty pulled pork sandwich and a delicious side of macaroni. I also sampled a bit of glazed burnt ends that they were using as a topping for nachos… they were great! The owner was a nice guy, really enjoyed our conversation. Definitely stop in and dine with these folks!!

The food was really good but it was on the sweet side if you like sweet bbq and ribs you will definitely love it
Kimberly N — Google review
Stopped here for a quick lunch. Lady at the counter was really nice and helpful. Hubby got 2 meat combo with 2 sides. I got the pulled pork quesadilla with extra pico and a side of sriracha aioli. I really enjoyed my quesadilla, it had good flavor, good filling and was great with the fresh pico de gallo. The brisket was just OK, a bit salty and meat kind of broke apart too much. But he enjoyed the sides and pulled pork. We really liked the vinegar and mustard bbq sauce. Overall it was a pretty good place in Anderson.
Nina C — Google review
Where do I start! It is 5/5 stars even though it was more like 10/5 it was amazing! The brisket was nice and tender with amazing flavor! Ribs were done to perfection, nice little tug but fall off the bone! Chicken was delicious! Sides executed perfectly, fried okra, potato salad, fries and Cole slaw all done wonderful! Sausage biscuits and gravy were great, there is an extra something that puts it over the top to perfection! The brisket Rueben was awesome. Nachos too!!! Portions were awesome and large. The price point was on par with the food and portions! If you are looking for an awesome BBQ joint this place is for you!!!

Very Professional and Timely service, food was very well seasoned and delicious recipes. I ordered the pull pork plate 🍽️ with 1/4 Slab of Ribs with Baked beans 🫘, and Texas toast. Peanut butter 🥜 pie 🥧 for dessert 🎂.... Bring your picnic 🧺 basket and fill her up neighbors.

I asked for an extra rice. And I get a teaspoon in a small to-go container. Really? Rice is one of the cheapest staples. If you want good quality and quantity don’t go here. Come on Pompous Pig why be that cheap. I wasn’t asking for BBQ just cheap rice. Unbelievable!!!!! Sad when you get take-out so you don’t have to cook and then have to go home and cook rice for the Carolina Hash.

Took a slight detour to try out this BBQ place. The chopped brisket was awesome, no fat and grear flavored meat. My wife tried the brisket sandwich which I tried and thought was quite tasty as well. The sauce was a little sweet for me, so I mixed their original sauce with the sweet sauce and was quite tasty. We ordered the banana pudding for dessert and it was delicious. All in all glad we made the detour!!

The BBQ and baked beans were great! I was a little disappointed that they were out of ribs when we arrived. We will get ribs on our next visit. Very clean and friendly with a great atmosphere.

Despite its unassuming location near an overpass on Earle Street, the interior ambiance is truly unique and inviting. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive to customers' needs, providing excellent service without being intrusive.
Just had the best meal at Earl Street Kitchen & Bar! The lemon salmon over mashed potatoes was absolutely amazing and don’t even get me started on the sweet tea… 10/10! Highly recommend if you’re ever in the area!

A 5…EVERY SINGLE TIME!! Tonight I had the hot chicken with honey Sriracha drizzled over top. The chicken was very tender! However, instead of the chicken over grits and a side of collard greens, I had the mashed potatoes and fried okra. It was a hard choose, but I had grits this morning and I just can’t go without their okra. The taco platter included Maui Mahi, pork, and chicken. I also had the baked potato soup for starters. The menu is perfect with great choices.

I love this place. It’s your traditional southern fare, but with an elevated little twist on it to make it special. All the ingredients taste fresh and bright and the chicken whether grilled or fried is to die for. I love their salads because they crafted to be a blend of flavors and not just your normal, boring garden or chef’s salad. The fried goat cheese fritters are a MUST! And the fried green tomatoes?! Oh my.
Dallas M — Google review
We took family here while visiting. We are foodies and the menu was very hard to choose from. EVERYTHING sounded delicious. To our great pleasure, every meal was in fact delicious. We all had different dishes and we were all more than happy. Good southern meals at reasonable prices. Service was excellent as well. It was a bit noisy because all surfaces in the restaurant are reflective with nothing to absorb sound. Nice and clean to. Go and you won't be disappointed.

If you want real southern food this is the place. They have true fresh southern food. Not the typical overly battered or overly sauced fair you find at so many places claiming to have southern food! One of the o only places I’ve ever eaten that made food just like my grandmother did!

Great little restaurant, we were given a recommendation about this place and headed that way! I was skeptical upon pulling up to it, but I'm glad I was so wrong! We had the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, WOW! Delicious! Then I went on to the Mahi Mahi shrimp and grits, and I am a shrimp and grits snob, so it BETTER be good! Whoa, it totally delivered all the smells, tastes, and textures that this snob was looking for! Hubs ordered the salmon and it looked amazing (he didn't talk the entire meal, that's saying something!) Finished it off with the peach cobbler a la mode. Perfect. Just perfect! Portions are generous and the waiter was very nice and helpful! Will definitely be a spot we visit again! Thanks for the great meal!

Wow the food here is so good. My wife and I went here for our anniversary. We started things off with the pimiento cheese crab dip. It was so creamy, cheesy, crabby goodness. I had a cup of the She Crab soup and it was as good as being in the low country. My BBQ Chicken Stack was absolutely delicious. My wife had the sirloin steak and she loved it. We will be going back.

We wanted to try something different in town and this place did not disappoint! The building and atmosphere is such a vibe(do we even say that anymore? 😂) but it’s a tad wonky in the middle. That’s just a side note for patrons with a bit of balance disturbance. Even with that tiny quirk, it was a wonderful experience and dinner was amazing!! Our server, Crystal was very friendly and attentive and informative about questions we had concerning the menu. She also helped to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our dinner. I ordered the lunch portion of the shrimp and grits and my husband had the grilled chicken sandwich. Both were a hit! I’ve eaten shrimp and grits in a LOT of different places all over the South and I gotta say this one was one of the absolute best ever!! I didn’t try my husband’s because I was so busy savoring all the flavor of my dish. My only regret is not having enough room to try the Tiramisu for dessert!

Stopped here last night for dinner after reading the reviews. Where we ever in for a surprise. The cook took such loving care of our food order, he must have spent ages preparing it. When our food order arrived & was placed in front of us, all we could do was stare at it. It looked scary, fries old, limp & not a sign of crispness anywhere to be found in this sad mess of so called fries. They were over cooked & some of the poorest fries we had ever had the misfortune of seeing. However more wonderful food was on the plate, yep 4 very sad overcooked fish. The batter was burnt but the fish inside was slimey on the inside. If this is what is classed as good food around the area then have at it. I would not recommend this establishment as food is sub par. We also ordered the Fried Calamari, all batter & overcooked Calamari. Most of the batter fell off. Horrible experience all around.

Wow!! What a GEM! Looked for a place outside of Clemson to celebrate my daughter's graduation and I am SO HAPPY I came across Doolittles. They worked with me, with my ever downsizing reservation.🤦‍♀️ Our server Amanda was absolutely awesome! Friendly, courteous and patient with our group of 12. And the food was OUTSTANDING!! Every single person at the table raved about their meal. Not one complaint about food. Very delicious! My only "issue" was with the cocktail I ordered. I asked Amanda to surprise me with mango cocktail, but I neglected to mention I wasn't a fan of coconut. I apologized to Amanda and asked if I could get something else . . . Without hesitation, she said "of course"! We couldn't have asked for a better experience! And the fact that downtown Anderson was beautifully decorated for the holidays, was an extra bonus! 5 stars - would recommend - let's do it again 😎

I’ve decided not to go into details. I’ll just simply say the food was just ok. That’s fair enough. Would I recommend you try Doolittle’s?…yeah, I would. I think I came on a bad night. McGee's Scot Irish Pub offers a unique combination of imaginative pub cuisine and traditional Irish dishes. If you seek an authentic, traditional Scottish-Irish pub, I highly recommend giving this one a try. Every dish and drink I've sampled since 2013 has been delightful. While the crème brûlée is my personal favorite, their menu offers a wide variety, including pizza, fish and chips, and a superb French onion soup. They also feature numerous food and drink specials throughout the week, and the live music is a wonderful bonus. I believe you'll be very pleased with your visit.

Came in on a Sunday around 4:45 pm. First thing to note is they don’t currently have a liquor license so liquor is off the table but they are serving wine and beer. The first port wine I asked for they were out of but after that everything went amazingly. Ian was our waiter, incredibly attentive and anything he didn’t have an answer for he was clear and honest about and went to get a second opinion. My girlfriend ordered an espresso crème Brûlée which was to die for with fresh fruit and chocolate covered espresso beans as a garnish. I asked for whatever port wine the bartender recommended and she brought over a honey forward light orange red Australian port. GORGEOUS. Very sweet very deep very delicious. Ordered the pimento cheese fondue and the Irish stew. The fondue was tasty (but of course it was its melted pimento cheese) and the crostini it came with while tasty did have a slight edge towards stale. The stew? My god. The mash was fine but the actual stew itself of just herb lamb shank was one of the single tastiest things I’ve had this year. Warm, seasoned, and perfectly delightful without coming off as pretentious. Had one last Portugal port wine which was darker in color but lush and exactly what I’m looking for in a port wine. Came in with low expectations as the drink crisis came into play but everything was stunning and delicious! Once last shoutout to our waiter Ian who gave us exceptional service.

Went here on a lunch trip with coworkers. Had the tavern burger with fries and slaw. It was really good. My coworkers enjoyed their food also. The only thing I didn't like is their soft drink selection(not much to choose from). Other than that, food is great, service and atmosphere is awesome. Definitely recommend.

We were coming to Earle street kitchen not realizing they were closed Mondays. We “settled” on mcgees never having been here before but the pictures looked good. We walked up and a man swung the door open and thanked us for coming as we approached the restaurant. We asked to sit outside because of the children. He was happy to seat us outside and pushed together some tables for us. The service was great; the atmosphere was great, and the food was fantastic. I got the pomegranate lemon drop which was so good! We all ordered different plates, the kids don’t count…they got PB&J…HOWEVER the adults made better choices and they did not disappoint!! I got the saint pizza which has pesto, cabbage, onion, carrot, balsamic, and I requested to add grilled chicken which they were happy to do, my husband got the goat cheese burger and it was so good I didn’t even get to take a bite because it was gone in a couple seconds lol, my friend got the corned beef and cabbage, also amazing! My mom got the shepherds pie, flavor there was on point! Everything was amazing. We are major foodies and I can’t believe we’ve never been here before! It’s the best accident we’ve had! lol. We will definitely be back!

I had a fantastic experience at McGee's Scot-Irish Pub — not just for the great atmosphere, food, and drinks, but for their incredible customer service as well. I realized after leaving that I’d forgotten to take my receipt, which I actually needed. I reached out to the pub, and they went above and beyond by quickly locating the transaction and sending me the receipt without any hassle. It’s rare to find a place that not only delivers a great time but also follows through so helpfully after the fact. Huge thanks to the staff — your professionalism and kindness really stood out. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a true Irish pub experience with genuinely thoughtful service!

Had a good experience at the other location from a previous time and wanted to come here for Father’s Day and with our family. The vibe was very colorful and festive just like the other one. They had a pretty nice outdoor patio but it was too hot for that. We had a really nice server, young handsome guy. He was very attentive and replenished our chips periodically when they ran low. We stopped by the salsa bar and grabbed a plethora of different kinds. Unfortunately there were a couple that were “bad” or started to ferment. It was not a pleasant way to find out and I didn’t want to point it out to the server because it may just be me. My husband did taste it and agree that it was like that but didn’t want to make a big deal of it so we just ate the chips. I got carne asada because it was so good last time and hubby got some asada tacos. When my entree came, I noticed the rice looked to be either undercooked or possibly al dente because of the texture, you could see each grain and it wasn’t soft and fluffy looking. When I went to take a spoonful it was actually cooked but could tell it was overly saturated in butter. I have never had Mexican style rice cooked this way and it was a bad representation of it. I understand if they want to be more Americanized or cater to a certain demographic but rice is simple and it tastes best made the authentic way, not with a bunch of butter. It was inedible for me and I just worked around the rest. The steak had a good char and had nice flavor, but was a bit dry. The tacos my husband ordered seemed a bit messy, and the meat was in large chunks rather than chopped in smaller pieces like how we’ve normally had steak tacos. Just didn’t seem like there was a lot of effort put into the food made that night and we will most likely go back to the other location instead. Service was good, food and drinks were underwhelming.

Plenty of seating, even for large groups. Food at this location is better than others I've visited. Beer is cold. Service is amazing. I gave 4 stars for atmosphere only because it seems too large sometimes for the crowd, which is subjective. Overall, a good experience, and one of my favorites when I want to watch a game in relative peace.

The service is excellent! The food quality is consistently outstanding. The staff are attentive and friendly . The server we had , his name was Jerome, he went above and beyond to provide a wonderful eating experience for us. . I had steak fajitas which was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere stood out as well. This restaurant, P&B in Clemson Blvd , I would highly recommend.

Papas is my wife and I’s go to for Mexican food. The food is great and the staff is awesome. We especially love Maria who always takes great care of us. Try the grilled chicken Cesar salad you will be pleasantly surprised! Go see our friends at Papas. Oh and my wife says the margaritas are fantastic!

Papa's and beer on Clemson is by far the best one in this area. The food and vegetables are always fresh, and the food comes out so fast. They have a beautiful staff with excellent customer service. I've been coming for years and the food is always delicious at this location!

Outback Steakhouse

$$$$affordable
Steak house
Outback Steakhouse is a lively Australian-themed restaurant chain that specializes in serving delectable steaks, seafood, and other hearty steakhouse dishes. This popular establishment has gained a reputation for its exceptional service and mouthwatering cuisine. The managers at Outback Steakhouse are particularly remarkable, as they personally greet and check on their guests. The bartenders, such as Erin, Addie, Haze, and Joshua also provide excellent service by ensuring the satisfaction of customers.
Top notch service from our waitress Caroline. Food was good, sometimes the chain restaurants are hit and miss, but this one’s a home run. Make sure to get your kid the Sharky Temple, only $4.75. The vibe was chill, and despite being packed there was no wait. If your passing through, stop here and nowhere else.

We took an Australian to Outback for entertainment purposes. What we always figured is that its not Australian at all. But we liked the atmosphere and certainly the service was top notch. Unfortunately my medium rare sirloin came out almost completely done, but was exchanged by management in a heart beat. It was not bad but I guess not our cup of tea, really.

Stopped in for a late supper. Seating was rather quick as well as the wait time from ordering to receiving food. Our waitress, Summer is top notch. Steaks cooked to perfection as well.

We ordered the 6 ounce sirloin steak meal and we received steaks that were less than 6 ounces in size. We’re very salty, overcooked, tough, and were the smallest steaks we had ever seen and ate even for the worst steakhouses we’ve ever been to my boyfriend‘s steak was 3“ x 2“ x 1/2“. it appeared as if they had taken an 8 ounce steak and cut it in half trying to pass it off as 26 ounces but it was obvious that those were not 6 ounce steaks. In addition the salads were brown. The dressing was watery when we asked the waitress wires 6 ounces we’re not 6 ounces. She tried to put it off as they were trying to limit the amount of food that people waste regardless of this when people order food you need to serve them what they ordered and not a half representation of what they were supposed to get. The size of those steaks were very insulting. they offered my boyfriend refills on water, but did not offer me refill. our bill came to $41 before the tip and that included the two $16.99 6 ounce steak meals. save yourself some money and time go to fresh market buy 26 ounce steaks and they will cost way less than what we pay for our food. at least it fresh market you get to see them weighed and will know approximately how much they weigh. The waitress was friendly and nice. The restaurant was clean. The bathrooms were clean as well so I gave one star to accommodate all of that.

This location has really gotten SLACK with their curbside to go orders. I ordered cheese fries that comes with ranch and literally got 6 drops of ranch in two tiny cups! I’ll be able to eat 4 freaking fries! Thanks for ruining my lunch!

I went there to eat and it was pretty late but the beautiful and sweet hostess sat us right away. Our server was very personable as well. The bread is always a must have. Our food came out fairly quickly and it was very good as well. I didn't particularly care for the location but am super grateful to the tall blonde hostess and our male server who I found out is a runner for making what was a long drive a little less stressful by providing us with a little reprieve.

Food was not cooked all the way or correctly the super small 15 dollar burger had enough mustard on it for 4 sandwiches took over an hour after we ordered to get the food after watching some groups come in order and eat by the time we got our food. When we spoke to management they gave us a discount on a future visit like oh or food and service sucked here you can have more of it thanks for reminding me why I never suggest outback when people are w a sting to eat out. Don't worry the discount won't be used before it expires this year. I will say however it was very clean and not busy at all.

I really enjoyed myself!! I had a party of 9. We was seated immediately and our lovely waitress Faith got busy taking our drink orders. She was very engaging and friendly. She was attentive all throughout our dining experience. The food was fresh and came out hot. We had everything from steaks to ribs to salmon to pasta and all of it was good. Thanks for such a wonderful and filling time!!!

Tucker's Restaurant

$$$$affordable
American restaurant
Tucker's Restaurant is a delightful spot that embodies the essence of relaxed dining with its unpretentious atmosphere and hearty American cuisine. Nestled in Upstate South Carolina, it boasts a charming outdoor patio where furry friends are welcome to join you. The menu offers an array of options for lunch and dinner, including gourmet sandwiches, fresh salads served in frozen bowls, and comforting soups topped with delicious additions like crab cakes or grilled salmon.
Tucker’s Restaurant is a hidden gem! We stopped by for dessert, and it completely exceeded our expectations. Their homemade pies are to die for—I had the chocolate cream pie, and it was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. My friend tried the peach cobbler, and it was warm, gooey, and paired perfectly with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and made with love. The staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend saving room for dessert here!

In town for RTC and we decided to try this restaurant for the first time! William was wonderful to our party of 6. Our drinks were awesome and we loved the food. Salads with croissant, burgers, steaks, ahi tuna, paloma - all delicious!

I got lasagna and the noodles were very undercooked and super chewy and the toast had garlic POWDER sprinkled on it and it burns when toasted and tasted bitter. You are not supposed to put garlic POWDER in toast! Smh! Hubby got prime rib and it was very good.

PLEASE DONT GO HERE. absolutely terrible service, food, quality, etc. I ordered the Burbon Bacon Steak and it came out so raw it looked like they painted the steak brown and left the inside raw. I told them politely to take it back to the kitchen and cook it more. came out RAW AGAIN. I told them politely a third time to throw it on the grill and it STILL came out raw😂. At this point i was fed up and I asked if they could remove the steak off of the bill and they refused.

My recent dining experience at this restaurant was a rollercoaster of highs and lows that left me with mixed feelings. The first impression was relatively positive, with a charming albeit slightly outdated decor setting the scene. However, the cleanliness of the dining area was a major letdown. Dirty plates and glasses, old and heavily used silverware, and walls splattered with mysterious substances certainly dampened the initial appeal. The booth and surrounding areas were dusty and neglected, giving the impression of poor upkeep. On a positive note, the crab/shrimp dip was a standout, bursting with flavor, and the Caesar salad was delightful. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for my husband's Old Fashioned, which he described as "undrinkable." The replacement was forced upon us in a rather aggressive manner, leaving a sour taste in our mouths. The chicken fingers, ordered for my son, were shockingly hard and almost inedible, resembling more of a chicken jerky than a tender dish. Despite expressing our dissatisfaction, the management's response was dismissive, claiming the dish appeared tender, which did not align with our experience. The lack of communication regarding bacon bits in the shrimp and grits, coupled with an undercooked steak, further added to the disappointment. The management's refusal to remove the undrinkable drink from the bill, despite our explicit dissatisfaction and refusal, left a lasting negative impression. While our waiter exhibited friendliness and courtesy, the overall experience was marred by interactions with the management and cleanliness level. I sincerely hope the establishment takes this feedback to heart and makes improvements for a more consistent and enjoyable dining experience for future patrons.

I went to Tuckers Sunday, the mash potatoes looked and tasted like slop. The steak was not cooked the way it was ordered. The oysters were dry. The cook complained loud enough that you could hear her all over the restaurant. The server was good but the food was not. The manager did compensate me. Told me to come again because he wasn’t authorized to give refunds; then why be a manager. The atmosphere was gloomy.
Risha — Google review
First off this establishment is not “gastric bypass friendly”. Even if you have a card stating you have had the surgery. You are forced to order a full meal. The meals are huge. The restaurant was hot. The thermostat near us said 80 but it felt hotter. No air flow. There was a weird smell also when you walked in. They do military discounts but only for the person who was in the military. And it was $1. Take what we can get.

Great service and great tasting food. The waiter was very attentive. The manager was out to see us twice to check on us. He even delivered our food. We were with our grandson Tucker. The waiter hooked him up with a 20th anniversary glass and he is 20 years old. How cool is that. The prices were very good with good portions to match. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I came to the airport to fly back to San Diego. The drop off area was easy to navigate. The baggage check counters is spacious, clean, and well decorated. The staff is friendly and helpful. At security check I had to go through secondary because of some toothpaste and strawberry preserve. I had to go back downstairs for baggage check. After checking my bag, I made my way to the gate. The food court is just past security and has a good variety of foods and drinks. I went to my gate and was able to do some work at a high table. There was free internet too.

Can’t beat an airport with a gorgeous outside little park where you can sit and relax till your flight. This is past security! AMAZING. Overall this is my favorite airport in the world. Just the right size with everything you need and a good variety of direct flights to various destinations. Absolutely love it!

It is a small-but still decent size- airport with top level of cleanness, efficiency and accessibility. You don’t need to wait too long for your luggage or go through security line (mostly).

This airport was well worth it. The staff was friendly and helpful. TSA was quick and kind. The food options are pretty nice, with Chic-fil-a being an option. The best part was the outdoor garden area where you can have fresh air while waiting for your flight. There was even luscious grass to sit on if you wanted to work on grounding.

One of my favorite airports, Greenville Spartenburg (GSP). Where getting to my gate, including dropping bag and security, took 10 minutes. Another 15 minutes and I have an excellent breakfast and latte from Wolfgang Puck. PS - Bravo to th designer of this stellar outdoor space!!!! 20 minutes walking here and I feel so alive!

Love this airport! Easy access. Great parking structures. I’ve used the Valet service and have always been pleased. It’s my first time parking in Garage B. The my use technology to indicate lanes that are full and slots that are open. Security didn’t have me take off my high heels and no laptops needed to be taken out. Great sophisticated machines and beautiful airport park outside to watch the planes go by.
