The new boardwalk is very nice. Me and my family went fishing and had no issues. Even the ice cream man drove into the parking lot! Was a great treat on a nice day.
Does the job wares my child out and they have very clean bathrooms considering it's a park, compared to any other local park. The splash pad wasn't up but we turned the faucet on and it shot out across the grass, it was just as fun.
Very nice and clean. Big with lots of room and different areas to play. There was a good bit of covered tables and seating! It was well kept and there are bathrooms. We came around 11:45 and the county was giving out free lunches to kids, which was very thoughtful. We have also enjoyed the splash pad next to it! Will definitely be coming back and enjoying both the park and the splash pad.

Carpenter’s Park is easily one of our favorite spots in Milton. The playgrounds are huge, well-designed, and shaded in all the right places. My kids loved the splash pad, and there’s plenty of open green space to run, play, or relax under the pavilions. You’ll also find a boardwalk wooden deck that overlooks the water. You’ll see tons of turtles in there!
The only downside: the bathrooms were not clean at all during our visit. For such a well-maintained park, that part really stood out. Hopefully the city can give that area a little more attention.
Still, I absolutely recommend this park for families, birthday parties and weekend activities.
Big park, nice creek, splash pad, playground, and a couple boat ramps. This park has a lot to offer in the way of outside fun and activities. The playground and splash pad are pretty big, boasting a set of restrooms off to the side, a jungle gym, swings, and the most unique seesaw I've every seen. The creek makes for a nice scenic touch as well as the little stream that runs through the park. The wooden bridges and elevated walking path are pleasing to the eye as well. Although it's easily hotter in the Spring/Summer time, all of the picnic tables are shaded under well-crafted, wooden canopies. Also, the elevated walkway runs along the side of the creek, allowing for limited photograph opportunities. According to the map, the river runs down to Blackwater River which eventually connects it to Baghdad Mill Site Park, which might be a worthwhile canoe trip between these two locations. Definitely bring either sunscreen or bug spray or both depending on your desired activities, and get ready for a fun time.
