A very large wine cellar invites you to a tasting. You don't have to buy anything, you can taste expensive and really good wines and you only have to do the tour. But this one has it all. After the film and the views over the vineyards, we came to the wine cellar. The number and size of the wine barrels was breathtaking and overwhelming. The smell of wine hung in the air and we felt tiny next to the 160,000 liter barrels. Each had their own artwork for identification. In the end we got an impression why French wines need so much fanfare. The diversity of one grape (Grenache) is hard to believe if you don't taste it. In the end we bought wine after all 😉
Wonderful tour of this amazing winery. Laurent was a great guide and made our tour most enjoyable. The wines are very good too! An English tour would have been great though.
Such a great experience! Unfortunately we missed the English timeframe but our tour guide was so lovely and accommodated to us anyway. It was my first time to do a wine tour and really enjoyed learning new things. Of course we got a bottle to take home ☺️
I love this Cave, the guided tour is interesting (I've done it 3 times) I finally went with my wife and she enjoyed it. The tasting at the end is superb and I always come away with at least 3 or 4 different bottles. If you are in the Banyuls area make sure to stop here, you won't be disappointed.
This winery has a small booth out on the Rte. d’Espagna that serves as advertising for them and they have big sign that says “degustation gratuite”. When we asked about it the man working there became extremely rude and unpleasant and seemed to resent us asking about it. It was clear that xenophobia is one thing behind his attitude since he spoke very nicely to the native French people, but spoke to us in a very arrogant and disrespectful tone even though we addressed him very politely in fluent French and simply asked about the sign outside. I would have happily bought several bottles of wine if the man was at least civil to me. Most other wine sellers in France are very polite so there’s no reason to buy anything from this place. I’ll go out of my way to never buy the wines from this winery now after this encounter with that bigoted and rude xénophobe.
We had a very nice experience visiting the cellar and vineyard and especially because of the great guidance of Michel. The wine is superb, a must visit and taste when you are in the region.
It was a great visit. It's a lovely domain, definitely worth to visit. Michel was very kind and patient to answer all our questions. Michel also explained all wine details during the wine tasting.
Great wine and great guide (Michel). Don't miss it!

Enjoyed seeing Maillol's home! And Mediterranean surroundings..hillside with grapes & olives.
This is a secluded, small museum. It had a 'visiting' artist's work on display which was amazing! The permanent collection is all Maillol, so if you're not into that then it won't be a good experience. There are a couple of rooms set out as they were when Maillol lived there. Toilets are available outside, you need to ask for the key at reception.
Quite interesting, but not really a lot to see. The biggest negative was that the site is NOT adapted for handicap people as it incorrectly states on the website so be aware! There is a level track at the rear of the house, but this would not be suitable for a wheelchair and you still have to climb up a few steps over rough ground to reach the entrance. To state that a site is accessible when it is NOT is contrary to the law! My partner has restricted mobility and found the many steep steps very challenging - if you are restricted to a wheelchair it's impossible!
Nice walk from the parking to the museum. The museum itself was nice but rather small in size, so there weren’t many work of Maillol present either unfortunately. The museum has also a cozy garden, which goes upwards. Lovely setting all by all, but would have preferred that they would have also opened the toilets for the public. Now it was closed, no idea why 🤷🏻‍♀️.
Excellent small museum in Maillol's restored rural villa in a peaceful setting a few km outside Banyuls. Lots of background inc an evocative b&w art documentary made just a year before his death in 1944. Small clay maquettes from early in career inform his later development and the challenge of representing the human form. Also a few larger figures plus paintings and lithographs. Very sensuous, pure work inc a beautifully serene bronze, Mediterranée, under which he's buried in the garden. Definitely vaut le détour. Sensibly priced admission at 7 euros. Not busy in June - felt like a visite privée.
The manager was quite rude and wasnt wearing a mask or keeping the security distance. Waking around was nice but a bit scary with the children cause there was a massive nest of velutina wasps. I don't recommend, I expected much better considering the price.
It’s small but nice ! The walkway to come in is really charming. His works is really amazing ! If you re in this area, it’s worth a visit
Lovely place to discover a great sculptor. It's not big, but it's a very good start. Totally recommended.

Absolute beautiful hike up to the tower. It’s quite steep and can be challenging at some places where you almost have to climb. But it’s totally worth it for the views.
Loved this hike. We drove as high as we could and then hiked the rest, only about 20 minutes up and 20 minutes down. Amazing views in all directions near the top. Ascended the last few meters into the clouds. Amazing!
A real cool place to look around. See the sea and the start of the Pyrenees. Did go by bike from Argeles. Be aware of the last 1.7 km. 20% slope to reach the top. To the peak there is 900 m to climb. Bit can be done bu care. Just need to walk the last 1.7 km.
Great historic landmark with great hikes leading up to it. The view over Collioure, Port-Vendre and the Mediterranean is amazing. 10/10 recommend a hike up here
Trekked all the way from Collioure, through the vineyards. This was quite tough on a hot day, you need to take lots of water but, the views from the top are fantastic. Overall this took us nearly 6 hours, though you can drive most of the way and do only the last 30mins on foot if you're lazy 😄!!
Amazing experience hiking, the view from the top is just wonderful. Thankfully it wasn't very difficult to reach the top but I really recommend to bring water bottles with you because thers no water spots nearby. You can start this path from Collioure or Port Vendres and take beautiful pictures of the Mediterranean Sea. If you dont want to walk from Collioure you can use your car to arrive to a spot that is closer to the tower and you will just need to walk 10 min yo reach it.
Great climb with a great reward. 360 view of the erea. I went up by bike, be careful there are lot of loose stones, dangerous for going up/down so slow down. The old tower is currently being used as a antenna amplifier... Don't stay up to long or bring a microwave meal and have it cooked for free 🤪
Nice climb, doable with 3 young children but need good condition. On top an amazing view.

It's a wonderful place to spend a couple of hours watching the wonderful world of the sea. They take great care of the animals and environment in the aquarium and we really enjoyed the layout and selection.
I recently visited Biodiversarium. Despite there not being a wide variety of fish, the ones I saw were small and adorable. I learned that they release the fish into the wild when they grow too big, which shows their commitment to animal welfare. It was a heartwarming experience knowing the fish are cared for even after they outgrow their tanks. Overall, it was a delightful visit with a unique approach to conservation that left a positive impression on me.
An extremely interesting visit, beautifully presented exhibition.
It was super nice! The staff was great, there's a good amount of sea life to see and is accessible for wheelchair. I recommend 👌
Very positively impressed by this Biodiversarium, that is also a local aquarium and conservation lab and observatory. The visit felt very informative, down to earth and sustainability-oriented, and focused on local biodiversity. I had just visited the Oceaneographic Museum of Monaco the same week, so the comparisons are almost unavoidable: I had more fun in Banyuls, where there’s less people and gadgets, and more attention to preservation and on how the Biodiversarium interacts with local landscapes and economies. Also loved to the see the museum promote an exhibition and conference with SOS Mediterranée about search and rescue of asylum seekers in the Central Mediterranean, at a time when solidarity is under attack.
A really good visit - informative and enjoyable for big and small people alike. There was a lot to see for a small biodiversarium and it was all local species. We saw some amazing jellyfish, starfish, rays, baby sharks etc. Loads of fish. And they release what they can back into the wild so it didn't feel at all exploitative or sad. For our toddlers it was perfect because a lot of the tanks were at their level too. Highly recommend. We took the 1 euro bus from Collioure to Banyul-sur-mer and it couldn't have been easier!
Super interesting. More than just an aquarium but an important research station. Learnt lots about jellyfish.
It’s ok but nothing more. Quite overpriced. Just 2 nice aquariums and some explanation, nothing more.

Parfait ⭐️! What a great experience. An authentic place where you can feel, see, and taste the rich history in the wine. We had the chance to meet the lovely owner and his son, who shared a wealth of information about the area and vineyard and gave us a tour. And there's nothing better than the taste of a beautiful, dry Collioure wine! 🍷
We had such a lovely visit here! Was great to hear about the family history and taste their fantastic wines. We bought a lot of great bottles there. Would recommend this beautiful place with their friendly owners to everyone!
We stumbled upon this place during a rainstorm. We entered and were warmly welcomed with a tour and wine tasting directly from the owner and his on. Delicious! Don't miss it.
Everyone’s taste is different, but good quality proves itself. A trip worthwhile!
Very cool small-scale family winery with great history and delicious wine.
