Porto Seguro

Porto Seguro is a coastal resort town in the Brazilian state of Bahia. It’s home to roughly 90 kilometers of tropical beaches, including the popular Praia de Taperapuãn. The city is also known for its vibrant nightlife scene, which centers on the bar-lined promenade Passarela do Álcool. During Carnival season, flamboyantly costumed performers and parading samba musicians help form a massive street party.

During the day it is easy to admire the colorful buildings. After 18:00 there are a lot of market stalls which can make it a bit crowded. Plenty of restaurants and shops available
A must visit, attractive, colorful and joyful part of the town to visit, with many stores to spend on and buy artisanal gifts for yourself or loved ones! Filled with fun people, events, as well as some rather annoying salespeople but they are the staple of what Porto Seguro tourism is about however, they are easy to avoid when you know the routes and how to say no 😄.
The only thing there's to do in Porto Seguro at night. Lots of people walking, dining, drinking and strolling around looking at a 💯 stands of alcohol, chocolates, Bahian food and some live music. It continues to be very live until the bars near the sea. Good few hours before calling it a night.
Stunning colorful streets in the day that transform at night into a vibrant market with restaurants, street food, craft markets, street performers. There is so much energy and good vibes.
Totally reformulated. Now it's very convenient to eat, to buy stuff and to have fun.
Best prices and all the products that we found while traveling in Porto Seguro, Caraiva, and Arraial dAjuda.
A nice walk you can make around the city. It’s in between the sea and the shops. Around the evening it’s full of people and sellers. You should be careful with your belongings too. In conclusion, it’s beautiful way to see part of the culture of Porto Seguro.

Unarguably the heart of Trancoso, this beautiful square comes alive after dark with the ambiance of 100 lights, traditional brazilian music, art, a small crafts market and excellent eateries. Full of small town charm, the vibe of this place is just spectacular! Take some time to stroll through and connect with the amazing and warm locals.
An absolute magic marble toytown integrated in nature with exquisite restaurant design and boutiques, crazy tasteful ilumination
What can i say, this place is just magical especially just about sunset when all the little quirky shops and restaurants turns on their fairy lights it's just so very beautiful and feels like you're in a space looking at one of our Galaxy arm, it's really is something you should experience in person, and if you think the photos is nice wait till you see it in person. Also the beach under this place with its famous little house at the bottom is well worth a visit as well.. Food is very nice and tasty, might not be cheap by local standards but for me with my money at the time of this review is equal to nearly 6 times the Brazilian money it's about a third of what you'll pay for a very decent meal in the UK, the prices for the food in restaurant prices are fixed but anything else you can haggle the price down quite a bit, don't pay the first price they say as they will hike the price up if they detect you're not from the country, just pay what you're comfortable with or politely walk away. I went there with my family, my wife did the talking as i don't talk Portuguese and as it turned out my father in low is an incredibly good haggler 🤣🤣 it's almost always was the kids that gave us away as they don't stop chattering in english 😡😂🤣 I simply love this place, it's stunning nature and views, and highly recommend a visit right around sunset where the magic happensand it comes alive.
Beautiful place with some amazing restaurants. The church is very nice to visit and there is a great view behind it.
Friendly fun small town square. Different and full of charm. Great restaurants bars and shops. Yummy ice cream.
The place has a Magic energy...each restaurant has a own personality...and the people are friendly....
Fancy, nice. Excelent place to see and to being seen ;-)

My experience at the Historic Center of Discovery was very enjoyable. I learned many interesting things and highly recommend visiting the place, as it appeals to everyone, regardless of age.
Weather wasn't great so my photos are all dark but the place is nice. If you love to shop then you'll love it as much as I did. Great chocolate and other delicacies and also clothes and souvenirs
Beautiful place, lovely people!! If you have some knee problem, might as well sit down on the grass when you're far from the restaurants, tho
Beautiful place to visit, I recommend going at sunset although the sun rises from this side the colours behind the city at sunset are beautiful
Nice place to visit with great views. Cheap prices on tourist items also.

My experience at the park was very good, the weather is sunny and warm, I had a lot of fun at the park! It has many food options, affordable tickets, a nice and clean park, a good place to relax and several options for having fun. It's really worth going to the Arraial d'Ajuda park!!
Very beautifully laid out park. The most beautiful thing is the forest in which the park is located. So much green and birds chirping everywhere. It would be a real "eco" park if the park would do without plastic. I don't understand why plastic cups and plates are used. This produces so much trash.
Nice place for entertainment with some very nice slides and a very good wave pool. The food was also good with a good variety of things, although the system and process of getting the food was very Brazilian and a bit slow. They could also have a better variety of slides in the space they have. In conclusion it is a very nice place to go with your kids if you are hanging around Arajal d'ajuda.
Nice family water/adventure park. Not huge, but has an area for smaller kids and then a lazy river, water slides, zip lines and other activities for older kids and adults. Tons of food options including self serve buffet by weight. You can spend half a day here or a full day easily.
Beautiful place and view, very neat and organized, lots of food options. A great way to pass your day, especially with small children
I went to eco park on Wednesday, October 12-2022. For a tourist attraction that has been around this long should be more organized. The entry to this park is a joke. 1st - they have two people checking people for contraband items. But they seem to not check people who they personally know. I watched people enter with cookies, chocolate bars , potato chips numerous items. 2nd - the lineup to pay for entry is also a joke. They don’t have enough lines or people working the lines. 3rd - they only accept specific identification for the discount. If your like me who has been here living and have all my utilities included in my rent. They will not give you a discount even though my cell bill has my Arraial D’Ajuda address and my ferry card also. 4th - the so called life guards working the wave pool are also a joke. When the live entertainment is on they forget about the people in the pool. I had to swim over to a young girl to help her as she went to the deep end. I turned around and seen all 5 life guards watching the live entertainment. If that child was mine I would file a lawsuit against the workers and also the park for negligence. The other staff in the park were helpful and polite . 👍The food concessions were good . But again not enough of them based on days when there are holidays in this region. The staff who come around and clean up the tables and areas were excellent 👍 I was told by a few staff that it is much better on days when there is no holiday in the region. So I will go one more time and see even though I have to pay R$120.00 to enter . Unfortunately, based on this experience I would have to only give this park a 2 ⭐️.
Loved the place as much as a Christian loves Christmas!
The facilities were good, but the money-grab was a deal breaker. You cannot bring your own food it drinks. You have to purchase food there, but you can't use cash or card--you have to put credit on a card that they provide for a small fee. If you use cash to put credit on that card, you can get back what you don't use, but you won't get anything back if you put credit on their food card using your credit or debit card. The food they sell is expensive and of poor to medium quality at best. Kids will probably have a good time, because they're not the ones paying for the experience. Adults, on the other hand, will probably be disappointed in regard to the cost/ benefit ratio.
