We were here for my birthday for 2 days in-a-row. We have had access to every part of the spa. So we have visited alsomst everything there. But the best part for me is the adult area with no kids. It's peaceful and quiet there. They have an everyday schedule for different saunas treatments. There is written everything on the board or screen. Some of the treatments have some snacks or/and drink afterwards. The views are amazing. We were also very lucky with the weather. The best birthday gift. 2 amazing relaxing days, and we can't wait to come back.
There was a big queue at 10.00 am to get in and had to wait outside in the rain for 10 minutes. The spa is extensive with many different pools and saunas to visit which is exciting. Signage is not very handy if you have limited German. Fortunately, helpful customers explained details to us. I think it was very busy due to poor weather today. 2 of the pools were closed while we were in them and we had to go elsewhere. The visit was overall a good experience, relaxing, but a busy venue.
Super nice spa in the town of Bad Reichenhall in Germany. We been here thru walking from our vacation rental apartment. The staff is nice and also friendly. However, the sauna rooms there are not allowed wearing swimwear. Also some signs there in the changing room are in german language so its very hard for us to understand where are we going and what to do. Its good that some fellow german visitors explained us in English what to do before we enter to the spa. We have literally no idea what are the rules there. It is maybe helpful if the owner put an english, dutch, spanish and french language instructions on all the facilities instead of limiting only in German language since you have different nationalities visitors in the spa. The restaurants there are nice and serves delicious food. they have one for the cocktail bar on the ground floor and one is for the food in the second floor. Only the downside of the sauna rooms there are you need to go outside because they are located in separate buildings. The one sauna activities we like there is that at the end of the sauna session is we drink proseco.
It’s quite a big therme with a big pool with a great view of the mountains. The “Sole bad” area downstairs is very, very small and crowded. It’s quite terrible for first timer because the staff didn’t give any advice or information at all even as we were there, there wasn’t many people in the lobby. I had a ticket only to the thermal bad whereas my husband had a combined ticket to the sauna. It took us a while to find out that he had to use the other lockers. If the staff don’t have time to provide information, the flyer with advices, plans and information would be very helpful.
One of the best thermal baths that we have tried in the area. Outdoor pool is heated, it has a nice view overlooking the mountains. There was plenty of space to enjoy and relax, did not feel overcrowded, however our visit was during the week times. Price for adult 34.50€, which I believe it included the parking space for your car. You could rent their towel for 7€ and a bathrobe for 10€ , but we just took our own . It was a perfect day to spend , as weather was still not very warm.
Planned to but didn't go in as on one side of the building there is a busy road, and on the other side by the outdoor pools is a construction site with machines working. Little chance of a relaxing experience.
Visited the therme today and my only pair of boots that I was using during my trip was stolen, had to come back shoeless in 0degrees outside to Salzburg, the staff didn’t care or offered any help. I wouldn’t come back
Lack of information from the staff. We are foreigners, and nothing was explained to us other than how to pay. The facilities are very good. Which are definitely 5 star. But the reception staff needs to perform better. They didnt even ask if we had any towels. We mistakenly presumed that they were issued inside the building. We ended up wandering all over the place to find the pools, etc.

Going up we didn’t have many people in the bahn and so I don’t think there’s a need to buy the tickets beforehand. The tickets are really expensive, even so, from what I understand, it hardly covers the cost of maintenance. When you get up, you’ll see many hiking trails, long and short, the trails around the top were well maintained and not muddy, although we had rain. There are hiking poles you can get for free in the top, and then return when you’re done. You’ll find two restaurants up above.
Oldest original Bergbahn in the world! 😮 Ship of Theseus style of course but still amazing. 😁
A very beautiful place. The views from the mountain are just amazing. But the ride up the mountain is very expensive. For that kind of money(49 evro) it would be possible to buy trailers better. The cabins are quite old, wooden and small. When lifting, everything creaks and is a little scary. At the top there is a very beautiful forest, good paths and a magnificent view of the mountains around.
I took a chance visiting here as it was on Whit Sunday. I had checked it was running but wasn't sure how busy it would be. I made sure I went as soon as it opened first thing. It costs €5 to park which you pay at the ticket office and they give you your car park exit ticket at that point. If you use your tourist card you get a small discount. Along with my ticket I was also given a €2 voucher to use in the restaurant at the top. The cable car runs frequently and you don't have long to wait. The trip in these original cars is quite unique, especially if like me you are fortunate enough to get by an open window. Once at the top there are several different walking trails and further hiking paths to explore beyond. I walked a circular route which went up to a viewpoint looking towards Bad Reichenhall, Salzburg and beyond. It's a steady gradient, but not too taxing. Back at the top station there is an excellent restaurant with various viewing areas. I went into the panoramic conservatory. There I enjoyed a delicious cake and coffee served by very polite staff. I was delighted to use the restroom with a window and a panorama view. A loo with a view! All in all a lovely morning trip out. Highly recommend, but get there early.
A little expensive compared to some other tourist things but if it keeps the cable car going I am willing to pay. Very nice views, lots of hiking trails at the top along with a cafe. If you have a tourist card they won't give you a discount on the fare, but will give you a 2eu credit at the cafe.
This Seilbahn is old and in a very good shape. Especially the resturant on the top. Take a coffee and a local baked cake and your day will be remembered....
Very cool, lovely walks at the top
Amazing view! Like a time travel! If you are above the clouds It's like a Wonderland in winter and summertime👌👍

Super nice place with a well-kept garden. The museum is awesome, and the restaurant is especially worth checking out. There's even an ice cream spot – just a summer thing! Totally recommended💯
The salt mine itself was impressive when you think of the all engineering brainpower put into it such a long time ago. The part that I didn’t like was that they don’t offer English tours. We had a tour in German with a printout script in English on a piece of paper. It was very hard to follow which area was covering which part on the paper and also we didn’t understand anything when other attendees were asking questions.
Very nice place to visit. What is not so nice is that guided tours are only in german language and you get a printed paper with information in your language, where many sentences don't make too much sense or sound very funny as it is probably translated using some online translator, not a real person who understands that language (czech in our case). It is also not so easy to follow from the paper printout on all places. On the end of the tour there is nice museum, but same problem, only german texts everywhere and randomly about 10% of texts are at least translated to english. Museum has a movie in the start and guess what.... it is only in german again, no subtitles available. Their other location in Berchtesgaden was much better prepared for tourists, offering personal audioguides with several languages and having at least english translations on most places.
Really interested and educational tour about salt mining and salt production. My companion and I took the tour as a rainy day activity and would highly recommend it to others.
Very impressive salt mining facility, some parts from 16th century. We have visited the museum with kids 4 and 9 years old and they managed ok. Tour guide goes every full our in the tunnels below Alte Saline. The museum rooms are at the end of the guided tour. At the cashier, there is a salt shop, they have all different flavours of kitchen salt and some bath salts.
Very nice. Air is so clean and fresh. Try it if you have problems with breathing. Very good place for rehabilitation.
The tour is interesting but was only in German. There is a handout in English but no guidance as to when we are at each point (some points have a numbered plaque but not all). Also warnings about steps and moving parts from the tour guide are only in German - at least half of our group were non German speakers and I think it would be reasonable to give some basic information in English.
Nice place filled with history. The only downside is that they dont offer any guiding in international languages such as English. Very friendly staff though.

Nice for a short walk. Directly in the center of the city.
Very beautiful, well-kept garden. A wonderful place for a walk, beautiful photos and relaxation.
What a beautiful park with so many health oriented activities!
One of the most beautiful gardens I've ever visited. It's small but beautiful from every angle.
It is pleasant to walk and relax. Beautiful park in the middle of the city. Clean, tidy place. Plenty of flowers, benches, fountains make it very attractive.
Just love this place ♥️ the wall with salt water good for lungs, the water pools, the many sunbeds, chairs, amazing flowers... Just can't get enough of the vibes there.
I visited the garden and stayed there for about an hour. I felt very relaxed. It's beautiful and clean.

Nice place and a wonderful pool with nature surrounding. I would love to be there again in summer time. Parking beside the road is fine and fairly cheap (0.5 € per hour and 2.5 € per day). Also some hiking options around so a place where you can easily spend a day with your beloved ones.
Prepare to be amazed by one of the most stunning lakes in the area! It's absolutely magical and exudes a peaceful atmosphere. The crystal-clear water, expansive surroundings, and majestic mountains make this place a true wonder. The pure energy around the lake is simply awe-inspiring and will take your breath away!
Beautiful lake. Perfect clean water. Parking spaces with charge.
What a magnificent view! Spectacular
The best place to hang out and swim in warm weather. Clean water and a good restaurant directly at lake!
Great Lake for a swim, the swimming bad is worth the EUR 2.50 entrance for easy access to swim in the lake, the dock, and seating along the lake for a beer
pleasant walk around the lake, either a short 15 minute walk, or you can extend to 45 minutes or so. Places to stop for a drink along the way.
The other one of beautiful place you can visit in Bad Reichenhall. It has a clean water, and you can swim. And in Summer, you can sun bath in their Park. It has WC and another public fasilities. And you can buy some foods in cafe or food truck there.
