Had a nice woodland walk leading to the limestone beach. Decent one way lane, down to the car park and parking was about the same as anywhere we have found on our holiday, at £4:20 for 3 hrs. You can pay by cash or by card. There is also an app you can download, or a phone number to ring or text, so multiple ways to pay. Although there is a map to show you the route in the car park, we did sort of get a little lost a few times, but nothing that was too bad. Typical woodland walk underfoot and a fair few steps that are uneven, so not ideal for those who are unsteady on their feet. Managed to take some lovely photos from top of the costal path and then down on the beach. Also on the walk, look out for the scream (see pics) very clever and made us laugh. Can’t comment on the cafe as it was closed by time we got back to car park at 4pm. Toilets were open but no lighting in the gents so didn’t use them. Nice way to spend an afternoon with the dogs.
Best rocky beach to visit. You can paddleboard, walk, take photos and enjoy a day. It's mostly windy, so be careful about your hats and be ready for a short hiking.
Gorgeous forest, interesting history, an ok priced decent carpark, and a BEAUTIFUL beach! Dogs allowed too! Sand after you sneak over the pebble edging, gorgeous place - and check out all the supernatural stories on google too!
Lovely walk down to the beach. Wild garlic everywhere! Beach is great with interesting geology. Good views over to Bridlington. Great for the dog. Nice little snack hut in the car park run by some lovely ladies and importantly, toilets!
Access by motorhome is possible, lots of passing places. Good parking. Super, friendly and informative staff, good paths, both natural and buggy accessible. Fabulous views and places to observe the birds. Good food and nice shop.
Awesome place to explore. I walked along the path from sewerby to Danes dyke. Some narrow and steep bits going down to the beach but the dogs loved being off the lead and exploring. Not for the disabled mind you unless they are fit and capable.
A stunning location for a walk down to the sea. Parking is reasonable and is cash or card. There’s a handy cafe with affordable food & drink.
Plenty of paid parking, cafe on site, lovely walk through the wooded area down to the stunning beach and back up the otherside

Absolutely glorious place: didn’t know about it until my sister suggested it as she lives in Scarborough. Wonderful place for families to explore, relax and enjoy the view. In spite of beautiful weather it was not very busy at all. And was clean and well looked after. Children happily and safely playing on the beach, in the sea and by the caves.
Lovely place to visit, the scenery was amazing unfortunately we didn't have long but i did take some pictures. They have a nice cafe with toilets. The weather changed 3 times in 2 hours so be aware with extra clothes.
Visited on a chilly but clear October day. It was lovely and quiet. Pay by card only carpark with plenty of parking. Cafe and toilets at carpark which we didn't use so cannot comment. Epic views and walks around cliff tops. We walked down to the beach - a fairly steep incline that anyone with mobility issues would struggle with. Lovely little cove with amazing rock formations/cliffs and beautiful white pebbles on beach. Real little gem of a place. We bought a couple of hot drinks from the burger/seafood shack at the top of the lifeboat ramp. There was a great choice of seafood on offer at reasonable prices, but the two ladies serving with 'meh' customer service, couldn't have cared less if patronaged their business. No niceties or chat at all. However, their dog was so friendly, that made up for it. I'd imagine in summer this cove would be very busy, but was great for us as there were only a handful of visitors today. Well worth a visit.
Absolutely stunning location! North Landing is a hidden gem on the Yorkshire coast with breathtaking cliffs, clear waters, and a peaceful beach. Great for walking, exploring caves at low tide, or just relaxing and watching the seabirds. Perfect for nature lovers and photographers. Highly recommended if you're visiting the area!
A beautiful cove with a sandy beach and the most incredibly clear waters. Caves to explore during low tide. 30 min boat trips around the bay on a working fishing boat are excellent value for money. Steep walk back up from the beach maybe difficult for anyone with motability issues. Very popular spot with tourists
Very nice place, with the great views of ocean and very peaceful specially on the top hill you will find really relaxing and lovely view
Lovely view and nice enclosed area for swimming! Large (paid) car park at the top. Slightly steep steps down to beach.
Nice small beach between cliffs. With low tide you can walk on the sides of cliffs to see small caves. Big parking for reasonable price. Few nice trekking paths both ways, one towards Flamborough lighthouse and second opposite way.

This was a great little find. Clean with friendly staff for a pit stop at the South Landing. Bird viewing platform open for free. Brilliant. Great little beach at the bottom, however, some people may find it difficult to get back up if not so good on their feet. You can also walk to either the lighthouse or Danes Dyke from here.
We went to the seabirds drop in and then joined the seaweed pressing and soap making in the afternoon with out boys. We travelled 2 hours each way and were unexpectedly impressed! We and had a fantastic day! The boys learnt so much , Sophie and the other lady (apologies, I am bad with names, but you were so involved with encouraging them). We all learnt so much and look forward to our next visit....HIGHLY RECOMMEND , so many activities, knowledge , thank you x
Yorkshire Wildlife Trust Living Seas Centre and South Landing Walk. Well it rained, but we sheltered under the trees for a while, it was worth the wait for the walk and ultimate views over the sea. Hot chocolate back at The Living Seas Centre was very welcome. Information Centre, small Shop, Hot drinks and a few snacks. Loos, Workshop, Car Park (fee) and nature trail, plus steps down to the beach. Some interesting benches, foot bridge and other points, could do with explanations at those points, need to do some homework to find out what they are about. Accessibility - parking on the grass, ramp into the Living Seas Centre, relatively level woodland walk to the cliffs. Steps down to the beach, there is a road down, but I did not explore that. Loo for the disabled. Car Park - East Riding of Yorkshire Pay and Display. Staff - friendly and helpful. Toilets - including for disabled.
Great place to take the kids. You have the beach to explore and walks around the cliff tops. There is also a shop and great activity centre where children can draw, colour, make badges and do some fun quizzes
A great find after a long day up and down the flamborough coastline. By the time we got there the tide was in but well worth visiting. Great views, great facilities. Quite a steep hill on the way back up though!
Great little café/shop. Had a scrumptious unicorn 🦄 ice cream from their big selection, and a hot chocolate. Friendly staff, car park, toilets and benches outside in the sun 🌞
Spent full day here with grand children, absolutely brilliant day, learning centre play centre it just about has everything, the staff were fantastic making you feel welcome and talk n teach the young ones with love n patience we shall return X

Fabulous place to visit with lots of parking nearby. A perfect walking space if not so agile. Very flat and accessible. There is also a beach nearby. If you head right from the lighthouse you will come across what’s aptly known as the drinking dinosaur, where you will discover a wonderful seal colony. Please note: this is a nature reserve and it’s urged all dogs are kept on a lead. Please also take home any rubbish you have. The area is unspoilt and beautiful
Spacious with amazing views of the sea and surrounding areas. Got to see Seals in their natural habitat which was great. Be aware that beach area is down a very steep hill and may not be suitable for some. There is also some coastal erosion on cliff edges which is necessary to be aware of.
Excellent walks, lovely shaped cliffs with plenty of viewing points to seal watch. Large car park, reasonably priced, is next to a light house, restaurant/cafe/bar plus a well stocked shop to all visit after your walk.
Walked from sowerby after getting land train from brid to there, it's a good hike through Danes dyke and all the way to lighthouse, terrain is hilly with steps in places, such lovely scenery tho. If ya love moderate walks with coastline n heritage then it's great. Love Yorkshire coast even with it's hills 😉
Beautiful wild, wide open space. Enough wind to blow the cobwebs off. Had a lovely walk around. Smashing gift shop, full of souvenirs at a reasonable price. Restaurant smelt good but didn't go....maybe next time. Even the drive to it is pleasant . Lovely Sunday afternoon out 🥰
Plenty of parking(which for a change wasn't a rip off), toilets and ice cream. Nice view of the drinking dinosaur and seals. Well worth a visit but some of it isn't pushchair friendly, with steep steps to negotiate.
Lovely, windswept, easy (if uneven) P&D parking (there IS flat tarmac just south of the paired meters in the middle). Cafe has a great range of goods and drinks including alcohol. Friendly staff. Visited 04SEP2025.
Large car park located near the lighthouse, from where you can walk down to the coast. Lovely area, which exceeded my expectations, with beautiful views and an abundance of wildlife. Watching the seals play in the sea or birds feeding their young, makes a lovely afternoon. I can imagine for those with young children the unguarded cliff edges would result in the birth of many kittens...🙀🙀

Walked from Bridlington to Flamborough Head lighthouse and back, a distance of 13miles back on 17thJuly 23. The path was well maintained, easy going on the flat apart from the two drop downs to the beaches, steep climbs out but what views I had, along with the ever improving weather, it is now in one of my top ten all time walks. I must mention about the lovely yorkshire folk I met along the way, all very friendly. Cherished memories.
We never thought in our wildest dreams would we see a deer up close and a yellow hammer, totally spoilt and overwhelmed, truly wonderful day 🙂
