Wonderful stories about the work done on those old ages. Incredible views and very well kept. Enjoyed every minute.
Great castle to visit, climb to the top of the tower for a magnificent veiw over the hillside and the lake. Lots of fishing history captured in the displays.
Beautiful castle, great view. But I have to admit, the museum inside the castle was not for me.
What great little castle, you get access to the top of the tower for great views on the town. Loads of information about the history of the town and the lake is available here.
Great views from the castle ramparts down the lake and over the town. Some interesting displays in the museum rooms. Torri is a lovely place and the castle is well worth a visit.
Thrilling ascend to the top of the tower. Nice views of the lake and surrounding area.
Castell Scaligero is a place you can visit but you don't really 'have to'. It's good for a nice view and to learn something about local fishing traditions and the previous owners. If you take the ferry from Maderno to Torri you can go and see the castle at the same time, since it is located in Torri.
Castello Scaligero, in which is an ethnographical museum which shows exhibitions about freshwater fishing, the history of the place itself, and information about Olive trees. There are two areas inside that castle which were truly stunning, though: one of them being the Limonaia, a lemon garden which dates back to 1760. It’s truly impressive to see all these trees among the old walls. The other was the view from the tower and the walls. It’s a rather steep climb, and you have to really mind your head once, but the view from the top is definitely worth it. Sadly we had a lot of fog that day, but I can imagine that the view must be truly stunning with clear skies.

Really enjoyed their sailing tour. 3h around the lake, highly recommended.
This company has 1500€ of our money after a storm hit the boat we rented from them when we were moored in harbour. We have been left chasing them for 6 weeks. We have insurance coverage, but not without documentation from them. I guess they are hoping we will give up so they can double up and get an insurance claim through as well. In the meantime, we stand to lose out on our insurance coverage. So the one star is generous!
This company still has our 1500 Euro deposit after two months. I would advise caution and make sure you add extra insurance cover with your home insurance. In our case, it is making no difference as they have refused to send us an invoice or any paperwork so far. They obviously know the cost of reclaiming the money is too great.
Beautiful experience Michael❤️❤️

Atmosphere is this quirky little bar is not to be missed! We were welcomed by the local cat, encouraging us to come in. We obliged and were welcomed by the bar man who was amazing, we ordered our drinks and sat in a warm corner. Unexpectedly we were served this amazing freshly made warm flatbread with Palma ham to enjoy with our drinks! Absolutely fantastic and a must visit
Awesome bachelorette night here – unforgettable experience! A special shoutout to Federico, who made the night even more amazing. The food was delicious, the music kept us dancing, and the vibes were absolutely unmatched. It's definitely a must-visit spot for a night out in Torri!
Great little pub/bar. Unique and cosy inside. Staff really friendly and drinks are good quality.
Great place with good vibes. Owners are very nice and helpful. We grabbed a couple of beers everyday during our 4 days in Torri. I recommend everybody to go here and soke up the chill atmosphere! We Will be back!!
It's a great place to have a late night snack, food is very delicious. The whole atmosphere gets you into the feeling of the local community. I would recommend this place, if you wish to explore Garda
Really nice pub, where time is not important. Very pleasure staff and really nice drafted Pilsner Urquell. I thing that I can judge it, because Im from Pilsen and Im know this beer. Hope for next time visit.
We popped into Don's almost every night we were in town and each time was amazing. Best sangria! Awesome staff!
This is my favourite place in Torri del Benaco as it offers a great variety of cocktails, beers and food, it's open until late and the workers are super friendly. You gotta spend an evening there 😁 very close to Garda Town too!

Not mentioned here but Paolo Bonomelli olive oil has won the international awards for the best Olive oil in the world. Visiting the farm is a wonderful experience! We were in the area with two small kids and dropped by unannounced. Ricardo was very knowledgable and welcoming. We of course left with a few bottles and you should to, but be prepared to pay €30+ for the good stuff.
We had a wonderful experience! Antonella was an incredible hostess. Knowledgeable and well spoken, she provided us a thorough orientation of the olive farming and oil production process, then let us taste some really amazing olive oil from the farm. Expect a small, personal experience when you come here. The gate is closed, so just press the button to be admitted. You’ll really enjoy yourself, and have the opportunity to taste and buy premium olive oil from the Lake Garda region. Highly recommend!
What an experience! You should have an appointment, so they can take time for you. It's a teaching about the art of making olive oil. But be aware that after the taste of these oils, you have problems to use ordinary from the supermarket. It's awesome! Thanks for let us be a part of the boutique a short time. Bye the way the place a awesome too, with a breathtaking view to the Garda lake.
Ricardo is a brilliant host, patiently explaining all the intricacies of olive oil and conducting the tasting session with a flair. We learnt a lot and had a fun afternoon in the tasting / awards room. The olive oil is impressive too. Beautiful location and a great view. The only disappointment was that we were not able to get a guided tour of the plantation and the mill. Despite that, thoroughly recommended if you are in the neighbourhood.
We decided to shop for some olive oil , we called the boutique and they gave us an appointment right away . We drove there and came into this awesome villa with view to the lake Garda . It was an amazing experience ,Paolo and Ricardo explained very patiently to us all about olive oil . We had the chance to taste some of the best olive oil of the world ! We will definitely buy our olive oil from Paolo in the future .
Love these oil! Great oil, amazing panorama fiew and verry lovely person. Buying there since every travel trip to Lago sul Garda. Thank u so much, we‘re happy to visit you next year again. Many greetings and thanks to Paolo Bonomelli
Absolutely incredible experience. Not only are the olive oils truly unique and far superior to anything you've tried, but also the service, attention and care of Paolo made our visit unforgettable. Highly recommended!
Simply amazing. The olive oil taste is out of this world. I can't thank you enough. They have the best oilve oil I have ever tasted. Actually they are the second best olive oil in the world.

(Translated by Google) The facade of this beautiful church dedicated to the Alpini has just been repainted. The church of SS. Trinity, dating back to the 14th century. if not before, it is mentioned for the first time in a will from the early 15th century, where it is defined as the private chapel of the Menaroli family, and it remained so for a long time. Here the representatives of the ten municipalities of Gardesana dall'Acqua gathered for a religious function, together with the Captain of the lake, before the Councils of this federation which were held in the nearby Palazzo della Gardesana, with which it communicated thanks to an internal passage. It was officiated by a rector - the most famous of whom was Don Giuseppe Marai, who died in 1745 and whose remains are preserved embedded in the wall of the church - who was often in conflict with the parish priest of the town, especially for reasons of pre-eminence. We obtain much information on this oratory from a manuscript ("Small historical notes of Torri del Benaco"), preserved in the parish, by Don Agostino Trettene, edited in Torri in 1904: by him we know that a small sacristy was annexed to it, built built in 1698 by Don Giuseppe Marai, as we read above the door of the same time no longer exists.
(Translated by Google) Born as a private chapel in the 14th century, it then took on the function of a meeting place for the municipalities of the Gardesana dell'Acqua three centuries later. It has had various subsequent uses, which have maintained its overall structure and frescoes: today it is a shrine that commemorates the fallen of Torri in the first half of the 20th century, also offering period documents and miniature reconstructions of war situations.

After the First World War it was handed over to the French military. It has been a war memorial since 1920 and was expanded after the Second World War. (Translated by Google) The construction of this small church dates back to the end of the 14th or the beginning of the 15th century, probably by will of the noble Giovanni Menaroli who had it built as a noble church. In fact it was managed by this family until its extinction at the end of the seventeenth century. It was later used as the headquarters of the Gardesana dell'Acqua, a sort of confederation made up of the vicariates of the various villages on the Veronese side of Lake Garda, and subsequently became a public oratory. During the First World War it was instead given as a concession to the French soldiers present in Torri del Benaco. In the 1920s they decided to transform it into a temple in honor of the Fallen, making changes to the architecture: the original entrance was closed and a new entrance was opened in the southern wall. Inside, several very interesting frescoes have been preserved including a 14th century "Last Supper" and a "Crucifixion", a "Christ in mandorla between Saints Catherine and Bartholomew" attributed to Ranuccio Arvari (15th century) and some 14th century votive figures. sixteenth century. Absolutely worth visiting!

Easily rented chairs for €25 and an umbrella. The staff was so kind and quick with our food & drinks, the seating was comfortable and the view was incredible. We could bring some food out to the beach, which is small pebbles, but could also eat at the restaurant steps away. Special shout to Monica and her family for making our beach day amazing!
A nice place with a good view and a small beach. Unfortunately the bar is best described as “Chaos”. The staff is going in circles around each other and no control of who have ordered what. The prices are heigh compared to the quality. The ice creams - they have a very large display of a lot of different ice creams, but 90% is sold out. With this beautiful location, there is definitely potential for creating a very nice place, unfortunately they just don’t deliver on anything else than a cold a beer.
Very nice place for a sundowner. Not too crowded as it is at the edge of Torri.
Drinks are OK but the salmon burger was horrible. The is no salmon, or at least it tastes like very below-average fish fillet. I didnt expect top notch cuisine but at least the photos shouldnt lie.
Great beach, good price for chairs and umbrellas. The beach is rocky, so I would recommend water shoes of some sort. The water is incredibly clear and a little bit colder than further south. It was lovely! There was a wedding going on at the pier while we were there, which was very entertaining
Beautiful beach bar on the shore of Lake Garda. Has an amazing vibe, with very friendly staff. We were there when they had a live DJ and saxophonist who played classic Ibiza hits all evening, what an incredible way to enjoy the sunset over the mountains on the far shore! Great food, cocktails and a variety of cold beers. Catered well for families.
Overall location and Atmosphere were great but the service is terrible and incredibly slow- 1 hour for mediocre food and overly expensive drinks for the quality that was received.. simply not up to parr. Drinks and food needed to be ordered at the counter due to the waitress not showing 😬
Chill Vibe, Nice people. You get everything you would expect from a Beach Bar, nothing fancy but solid and not too pricy. Good coffee and good Drinks. 🫶
