The grounds are so charming, beauty hiding around every turn. There are free-roaming peacocks and picnic areas all along the pathways. The grounds are always clean and there are public restrooms and a small Cafe inside the main building. The mansion is STUNNING... so much history
Kingwood had so many things to see. I would recommend three to four hours because the grounds are quite large. Although we originally came because we wanted to see the form of gardens, we were disappointed because they are under construction. We were told they probably won't be completed for 2 years so we'll have to come back. In the meanwhile, you can go on their website there are many pictures to see there. These are just a few of the pictures we took while we were visiting.
It's amazing that such a beautiful treasure is available to the public in Mansfield Ohio! Prepare to take your time and relax as you tour this amazing estate and it's gardens!
Highly recommend visiting. The grounds and mansion are very nice. The staff is friendly and very informative. There is a sweet story book trail for children. It's nice to set your own pace and wander around
I love flowers and gardens, and this place is fascinating to visit. We enjoyed our day immensely. The grounds are beautiful, and we appreciated touring the mansion. They also have a snack shop with a variety of heavier meal options, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend visiting Kingwood Center Gardens. They have special events happening, so be sure to check the website for current information. When we were there, they had a violet sale.
I attended a regional garden club meeting here and didn't expect much really. Boy, was I mistaken! Upon 1st exiting the entry building into the garden, there were 2 enormous bald cyprus trees in view. They were so big, It made me turn right around and ask the staff in the building if they knew the age. They said those trees were growing since before the property was designed so quite well over 100 years ago. The rest of the grounds were almost as impressive. Trees and plants I've never known before. The greenhouse was impressive too! We'll worth a visit for anyone who loves nature!
Kingwood Center Gardens in Mansfield, Ohio, is full of beauty for photographers—vibrant flowers, elegant garden layouts, and charming architecture. The historic mansion adds to the appeal, especially the grand staircase with its ornate railing. And the resident peacocks are always a highlight to capture!
Kingwood is a lovely Hardens and Historic Home venue. There is much to see and do. I highly recommend the cafe. Lunch options provided by Buellers.

Very cheap, profits support the sanctuary, kids under 3 are free, has a area to feed song birds, 25 cent cups of worms. Amazing gift store, kids play area, and on a beautiful and maintained property. This should exist everywhere.
What a gem of a place! Very accessible, the staff were all amazing and the birds were so cool. Great prices in the gift shop as well! Worth the trip!
Everything about this place is a sanctuary! The staff are incredibly kind and pleasant. The birds are well cared for. We had a fabulous time. The plant walk was very special, too!
This place is amazing on so many levels!! To see the birds so close, to feed some, the walking trails, and all of the amazing things they do for all of the avian species!!! I even had a bird on my hand eating from the cup. Best experience ever!
Excellent. Outstanding. The staff and volunteers were terrific. This is a real gem. Rescued songbirds sit on the ledge and eat out of your hand. Hawks, eagle, crow, falcons, all rescued and well loved at this sanctuary.
My husband took me here and it was a nice day. Loved feeding the song birds and gazing at the hawks and eagle. Also nice trail through woods.
An enjoyable visit! Very informative and staff super friendly! We will definitely visit again in the future
Very helpful staff they will be able to take in most births except for waterfowl. The trails going through the park are absolutely beautiful I love their tree house feature that they have on one of the trails.

Fantastic ski and tubing resort 1 hour from Columbus. Family owned for several generations. Great service and food options. Fun vibe for the whole family.
Everything about this place was great! Prices aren’t too terrible, the 2 hours goes a good speed so you can enjoy tubing. I drove a hour and half just to this resort and it was definitely worth the drive. All the employees was very nice and helpful. The snow lanes was fun and fast. Only downside is the conveyor belt super SLOW! it took us 5 mins to get up the hill with no one was on it. I made sure to time it and it was 5 mins. It was very slow. Honestly walking is fast but definitely harder. Only downside but other than that it was great and I’ll definitely be back. I recommend for sure
My wife and I went to Snow Trails for the first time this winter and greatly enjoyed it. Neither of us had ever skied before so we signed up for their lessons. Our instructor did a great job and we caught on pretty quickly and had a great time. Definitely will be going back next winter!
I took my family to ski here for the first time. It was great. I’d highly recommend a lesson for your first time. The instructors are patient and there are several different sized bunny hills. Prices are reasonable. People are reasonable and friendly. I will return. Thanks for the fun times.
Been snowboarding here my entire life, it’s my home away from home. Super cozy, good variety for all skill levels and it’s owned by an amazing family who live in and have done a lot for the city it Mansfield. Other than the reformatory it puts Mansfield on the map.
5 stars!!! Best time ever, we had an awesome day yesterday! We booked the ski lesson package & tubing for my sisters birthday. Tubing was so fun we went down the mountain 7–8 times in our 2 hr slot and still had time left over. John our skiing instructor was so patient and very outgoing, he definitely made our day! We spent most of the day on the beginner slope & gradually worked our way up. The staff is friendly and helpful. Food was good. Highly recommended will definitely be back!
We did our employee outing for Texas Roadhouse here and it was a great experience! The staff was very helpful and friendly and glow tubing was very much worth it!
1/6 update... It was just as amazing as before. Weather was much better - colder and snowy! Had a great time get your tickets. Don't try to buy tickets at the location...there were folks that were unhappy. Have fun it's great. It was amazing fun. Not sure how much time is left this year but check it out if you can. Then definitely watch for when the site opens to make your reservations and have fun.

We had an engagement party event there for our son and fiancee. The staff and food was amazing. We could not have asked for a better day, not to mention the beautiful atmosphere. Well worth the money spent! Thank you everyone for making our day perfect!
Very nice place to visit. We stayed overnight in our rv. They were very accommodating. Nice giftshop and can't wait to have the wine. Good food in the restaurant too. You need to give this place a try.
Beautiful views and great food! I loved browsing in the large gift shop. They feature all things blueberry well! Overnight stay in our RV as part of Harvest Host. Great find!!
I’m so disappointed in The Blueberry Patch. We used to absolutely love this place—my family even celebrated my birthday here, and we always enjoyed the events they hosted. But after our recent experience, they’ve lost our business for good, which honestly makes me so sad. Here’s why: my daughter chose The Blueberry Patch for her homecoming dinner, so I called ahead and made a reservation for two. When we arrived, the owner was extremely rude. Once inside, we discovered they had roped off an area just for homecoming students and set up a buffet. None of this was ever mentioned when I booked the reservation. My daughter had her heart set on ordering a charcuterie board, but we were told the kids could only eat from the buffet—not the regular menu. I was shocked that they would treat students this way, especially when we had specifically made a reservation. If you’re considering taking your kids here for homecoming, please think twice. ⸻
Drove 30 min on Sunday. Thought we got there on time. Made it at 2:37 with 8 min to spare since seating ends at 2:45. Waited by the "wait to be seated sign" for bout few minutes just to be greeted with "no longer seating and kitchen closed ten min prior." I can understand this is on me for cutting it so close. But why not change the sign to seating ends at 2:30?
We showed up with a large party and no reservation, but Connor didn’t hesitate to accommodate us. Not only did he take our table, but he also provided outstanding service throughout our visit. Truly top-notch—thanks so much, man!
We have been to the new building twice so far and were very impressed both times. It is beautiful inside. Our meals were delicious and the service was prompt. There is a really cute gift shop.
I cannot believe how rude and inconsiderate the people at this establishment were this evening. The “Gentleman“ at the door was disgustingly rude. It’s incredible people in the hospitality industry can be so inhospitable. I would give five negative stars if I could.

History museum
Waxwork museum with around 300 biblical figures, rare bibles, art & wood carvings, with tours.

I took my residents down to Mansfield today to the BibleWalk. I must say this was quite the experience. There was a lot of time, work, and money put into the details of all the wax figures, as everything was so lifelike. All sounds, and voices were via speakers in each section, and the lights would come on in those sections in addition to some lights highlighting a specific person that was being spoken about at the moment. You would truly have to check out this masterpiece of a place yourself to appreciate it. My review, pictures, and videos here will not do it justice!!!!
Always incredible to be reminded of Bible history. Bible becomes understandably real here. Kids enjoy the visual Bible every year. Very kind and caring staff.
We loved walking through parts of the Bible! You can see they've put genuine effort into this ministry. It's a moving experience! 💜
Very informative visit. There are 7-8 different scenes you can go through, each one about an hour long. They are $8.00 each. We went through The Life Of Christ and The Woodcarving scene, they were awesome, especially the woodcarving scene. Many Bible scenes, all figures are hand carved by a gentleman. Took him years to finish. It took him 2 years just to finish the face of Jesus. I encourage everyone to go to The Biblewalk Museum here in Mansfield, Ohio.
you can feel such a peace here. the tour guides were very attentive and happy 😊. this place has 7 museums to go through. everything for wood carvings as tall as me to wax figures with audio recordings that tell their stories. They have wheel chairs too. plenty of room and bus 🚌 tours were coming through also very organized. no stress 😜. I love this place and the people are volunteers from the church.have to go back to see it all. oh they have some of the oldest Bible collection and a picnic area to just set back and hear the fountain ⛲
I went this past Saturday and my life has changed for the better reading the Bible and walking through it are two different feelings a must go
It had amazing figures and some of the artwork was breathtaking
This is a must see about the Holy Bible...you literally walk through the Holy Bible!!! I highly recommend for all ages to enjoy this place!!!

I call this my home trail. We travel often to new locations. This trail is the standard for me to judge all the other trails I visit. First it ends on both sides in a park with one end being a little nicer then the other but still nice. It has a bike shop on the trail. Beautiful view with a large variety of scenery. A lot of wildlife and plenty of various places to start or stop depending on how long you would like to Walk/Bike.
It's a nice bike path well maintained. They even ground down some of the high spots from tree roots. There are several road crossings that are quite busy and they don't have any kind of lights at them. In the summer it can be quite hot. There are sections in full sun.
I went to the Finnegan's dog park with my new puppy and we were able to get the one side completely to ourselves! She had a great time!
Good trail, no complaints, plenty miles long, sights, sounds all good.
Loving the sunflower fields!! Way to go Bellville and Mansfield for working together to make a beautiful sunny spot to take some pictures!!
Update: parking lot has been expanded, and can hold many more cars. Still has handicapped spots for those who might need them. Includes a map of the bike trail, has close/easy access to the trail, is close to gas stations, hotels, restaurants, and is situated very near to I-71. Also has a LARGE, and maintained porta pot, which can be very handy in a pinch. A new dog park has been built directly across from the parking area (you have to cross the bike trail to get to it, so watch out for cyclists).
The new Bellville Dog Park is a beautiful spot along the bike trail to take your dogs for a playful romp!
I really enjoy riding this trail. It's well kept and usually not too crowded.
