The rides are a nice touch for younger kids, and the amusement rides offer something for all ages. Lots of snack options from fried Oreos to pizza and ice cream—definitely a cheat day paradise! Also love funnel cakes here Parking can be tricky on busy weekends, and prices (like many shore spots) can add up quickly. But overall, it’s a fun, lively place to spend the day with family or friends. Highly recommend for a full-day outing at the shore!

Spent Memorial Day at Point Pleasant Beach and Jenkinson’s Boardwalk, and honestly, it was one of the best weekend escapes I’ve had in a while. The beach was absolutely packed as expected for a holiday, but that just added to the lively, festive atmosphere. The boardwalk had everything you’d want: fun rides, great food stalls, and an overall vibrant vibe. There were plenty of options when it came to food, from classic American bites to Italian and seafood spots. A few beachside restro-bars also offered chill hangout spaces with a great view of the ocean. Parking was a bit of a challenge during peak hours, but with some patience, you’ll either find free street parking or opt for one of the several paid lots around the area. The staff, including lifeguards and security, were super attentive and made sure everyone was having a safe time. It’s also very family and kid-friendly. I saw tons of families and kids genuinely enjoying themselves. Heads-up: the main beachfront access is paid, but it’s reasonably priced and well-maintained, so I’d say it’s worth it. All in all, a great spot if you’re looking for a fun and relaxing weekend with friends or family. Would definitely go back!

I wasn’t really sure how I should rate this place. On one hand it is beautiful. Well kept you can tell that it’s a beach town. It’s been around for a really long time. My rating is because I thought it was really expensive. First, you have to pay to get on the beach per person over 12 and then when we went walking on the boardwalk I thought the prices were really high and the quality of merchandise that they had wasn’t worth the price. The food prices were really high, again, not surprising, but it was just mediocre. The best part about it for me was the beach, it was really clean, didn’t have a whole bunch of broken shells all over the place, which allowed me to walk in the sand in my bare feet. Something I’ve generally don’t do because I am diabetic and cuts to my feet could cause me to get infections Which could cause me to get amputations, something I don’t wish to have. This is just my opinion. I’m sure some people would disagree.

Since 1928, Jenkinson's Boardwalk has operated as an amusement park and prominent tourist attraction among those in Ocean County and for families and area tourists alike. For the first time in over 16 years, I came to this such boardwalk on a recent trip out to the Jersey Shore as a means of spending my last full day of my recent trip in a manner of peace and action. I came to this such boardwalk during the afternoon on a Wednesday evening and found myself flattered at just how impressive the boardwalk area really was during my time. I was especially impressed with how much there was to do. From shops to food stalls, and even arcades, this boardwalk has something for everybody. I came also during one of the prominent events that are held on the pier during the summer months, and was easily enamored by the theme of Christmas in July they were offering during my time at the boardwalk. The entryway to the beach also offers a robust experience that allows you to experience the Sand and the Atlantic Ocean from a distance. Overall, coming here was a surprise and a great treat to end my trip to the Mid-Atlantic Region, I hope to come back in the future and experience more of what the boardwalk has to offer.

Nice place to visit. Boardwalk very clean and lots of places eat and spend family time. Although the boardwalk games cost from $5 to $20 each game to play, be prepared to spend a rent payment for a day. The beaches were walkable but no life guards on duty as it was the end of Sept. There is an aquarium, mini golf and kiddie rides along with a tiki bar for the adults. Nice day trip.

This is an excellent beach with Boardwalk. Very well maintained. Easy to navigate with google maps. Hard to find free/paid parking also near the beach especially over weekends. There is hourly parking with less price changes for weekdays/weekends/holidays but reasonable price. $40 day parking is also available and may get some spots here. Street parking is available but mostly get filled unless we want to walk a mile. We visited this over weekend and there is ticket for adults only for $15. Children under 12 are free to enter. Boardwalk area is full of stores. Restrooms are available and no rush at all here. At the entrance itself, there are showers available to take batch while returning. All are free. There is lot of space to place our tents and chairs to take rest in the beach. Very well maintained the whole beach. Beach is opened to go in water only until 5.30 PM. In the sand area we can stay until 11 PM it seems. Excellent beach to visit with whole family and friends. Everyone will enjoy this place for sure. Can't go deep in water as there is little deep. Waves were so speed in the evening, so probably that could be the reason for not allowing into water after 5.30 PM.

Watching Michael’s face light up while riding the carousel or trying to win a stuffed animal at the games is the highlight of my summer. Jenkinson’s has that perfect mix of nostalgia and excitement something timeless that keeps us coming back year after year. If you’re looking for that true Jersey Shore experience filled with memories, laughter, and a bit of magic, Jenkinson’s Boardwalk is where it all happens.

We had such a great time visiting Jenkinson’s Aquarium! It’s the perfect spot for families, couples, or anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing and educational experience by the beach. The exhibits are thoughtfully arranged and easy to navigate, with a great mix of marine life — from seals and penguins to sharks and tropical fish. The staff were friendly and informative, and we loved the up-close views of the animals. Watching the penguins being fed and the seals playing was definitely a highlight! The aquarium isn’t too big, which makes it ideal if you’re looking for a fun activity without spending the whole day — and it’s located right on the boardwalk, so it's easy to pair with other fun things to do nearby.

Took a day trip to the beach with my husband and our 15 year old daughter, decided to stop in here while we were on the boardwalk. It is a smaller aquarium compared to a lot of the ones we’ve been to but it was still really nice. Sheridan gave us a ton of interesting information about penguins, including introducing us to their 39 year old penguin Shadow. The little monkeys were such a nice surprise and the sharks were so beautiful. I definitely recommend stopping here if you’re in the area.

Such a cute aquarium! Best part is that you can leave & come back, so if your family is walking on the boardwalk or enjoying the beach, you can always go back to cool off and enjoy more time at the aquarium. The feedings are cool; my kids loved to watch!!

Do not miss the opportunity to support this incredible aquarium. The staff are well educated and eager to share knowledge with you. The facility is small but jam packed with incredible sea life. Absolutely love this aquarium and its conservation efforts.

We had a surprisingly wonderful experience—this aquarium truly surpassed our expectations and stands out as one of the finest we've ever visited. The exhibits are top-notch, and the exceptionally friendly staff only added to our great time here.

Very nice and clean. Animals seemed to be well taken care of. Staff/volunteers are friendly and helpful. This is my third time visiting, with family and loved ones, and I’m looking forward to going back in the near future.

Such a nice aquarium. Great for kids and adults as well. If it's busy summer day parking is either hard to find or very expensive($25). Although the aquarium is 2 stories tall. If someone is handicap or needs wheel chair or walker, there is a handicap ♿️ only elevator. There's a very nice variety of fish, turtles, sharks, rays, monkeys, parrots/macaws, small reptiles seals and 🐧 african penguins. Also there added enjoyment if you follow the feeding schedule.

We had a birthday event at Last Wave in their side-building (the Green Room) a couple of weekends ago and our group had an absolute BLAST! The room was perfect, the accommodations were incredible (the table for beer pong, the TV, the SONOS sound system, etc.), the drinks were amazing and JD was maybe the best, most friendly bartender I've ever interacted with. Last Wave's crew was so easy to work with during the weeks leading up and was even easier than imaginable on the day of. Highly recommend if you want to have a party/get-together (we had about 50 people, more or less) or if you just want to go hang out and have a drink! Highly recommend!

My husband and I had our wedding reception in the Green Room at Last Wave this past Saturday and it was the best experience we could have asked for. The room was the perfect space for our ~40 person event. We worked with Dani to coordinate and she kept the entire experience simple and seamless. We also had the best bartenders (shout out to Kelsey and Alex). Thank you all for making our night a memorable one!

Really like this place, great to hit before heading to one of the many local eateries all within walking distance. Great to park in one spot and have so much around. The thing I really like about Last Wave is the staff, very friendly. Love the chill vibe they have maintained as they grew.

Nice dark beer selection with Right Coast, a coconut porter, and red sky. I enjoy dogs. However. I think it is very inconsiderate to allow dogs on top of the tables and on the couches.

This was a happening place on the Saturday of Memorial day. The beer selection was very good including light beers, red, stouts and IPA's. A flight for $8 was our choice and we liked all four of the selections we chose. Great spot right in the middle of Point Pleasant, NJ. Will definitely be back.

Love this store, it has the coolest finds ! This was ladies night in point pleasant , all the stores stayed open, had cocktails and snacks and we missed the memo about dressing like a witch 🧙 Fun annual event !

I've purchased several pieces from the Antique Emporium and love them all. They always have great vintage furniture items and will refinish them for you. They are my go-to store for furniture now, it's great to buy vintage instead of purchasing new (for budget and for environmentally concious shoppers). Prices are reasonable and the quality of the paint finish is always very good compared to others I have seen.

Amazing store with friendly amazing staff ! So much to look at with great prices. Picked up two stained glass windows today and was able to mount them perfectly in our 100 year old home. Worth the stop in to check out everything in this great store ! Looking forward to visiting again at their new larger location !

This is my favorite of the three buildings in Point Pleasant. Their prices are more than fair. I've purchased a 60's suede coat and a rusty old antique dental table from them. A great selection of larger antiques and knick knacks.

We had some good times there. Not terrible but way too much 20th century stuff for us. I went here years ago, probably over ten years and recalled it being much better. It is no longer floors of stuff if it ever was. From what I can see top floors are turning into Condos and are for rent. There is a loft type of area and we didnt' even bother after the disappointment of the first floor. Dealers putting almost fifty dollar price tags on reproduction collectibles. Sorry but it is what it is. Check out the place next door, the first floor has some real antiques and great, shabby chic farmhouse stuff.

The owner Tom is incredibly talented and thoughtful. His gallery is filled with beautiful unique pieces. He went out of his way to create a beautiful shot with custom finishes of a location we had talked about when we met him at his gallery. The whole experience was lovely. Now when we look at the artwork not only are we reminded of our peaceful days at our favorite escape, but also of our time with Tom telling stories about the paintings, photographs and artwork in his gallery.
